3:52Brian Redban:All right, back to the show. Good evening. Tonight's sponsor is Meriwether Farms Natural Beef Stick. And if you know anything about me, you know that I love a good beef stick in my mouth. How about you, Red Band? I love them beef sticks. Of course you do, Red Band. You look like your blood type is gas station teriyaki. Oh, you son of a gun. You're roasted. These aren't gas station beef sticks. These are made with real American beef raised without antibiotics or added hormones. Oh, my goodness. Miss, that is absolutely incredible because I know you love antibiotics or hormones. And this is amazing that those aren't in there.

4:27Brian Redban:But he's right. It's one of the rare times in which Red Band is right. It's real American beef, not some imported mystery tube made with retired circus animals on the floor of a bus station. They're savory, packed with nine grams of protein, and easy to take anywhere. Red Band loves easy stuff. Work, the gym, your truck, or Brian's bedroom, where every snack becomes a cry for help. They taste incredible. And that's all that matters to him. And unlike most things Brian puts in his mouth, you can proudly tell your family about these. So go to meriwetherfarms.com right now and use code word KILTONY to get 20 % off your first order of beef sticks.

5:01That's M-E-R-I-W-E-T-H-E-R, farms.com.

5:08Brian Redban:Wow, red pan on the spelling. Meriwether Farms natural beef sticks, real American beef, bold flavor, and enough protein to help you survive another open mic or one conversation with Red Band. That's MeriwetherFarms.com and code KILTONY for 20 % off your first order right now. How's everything else? Oh, my goodness. Thank you so much. Are you familiar with Montana Knife Company? Oh, my God. No, I don't know anything about good knives. This is probably awesome, though. Josh Smith runs it. I think they're probably the only, if not the only, certainly the best American made knives in Montana. Oh, sweet.

5:49Brian Redban:Wow. So this is a custom knife that I had them make before I left my job. Oh my God. Wow. Holy shit. Oh, it's in there. Wow. Damn. Damn, look at that. Wow. It's like this guy is. Wow. He learned how to make knives to see as a kid. Director of National Intelligence. Just never gets old. Is that cool or what? Wow. Oh boy. Yeah. That'll cut the devil himself. Wow, that is so fucking cool. I love a good sharp knife. I'm gonna use the hell out of this. Thank you.

6:39Brian Redban:I love it. That is so cool.

6:45Brian Redban:I'd love to get to show you guys my place sometime. You'd be shocked at my overwhelming amount of patriotism. It's a rare, rare bird nowadays, I guess. How are you, buddy? Good to see you. Oh my god. I literally have, I was just going to say, in my entrance way, Oh my god, this is so fucking cool. Because in my entranceway I have a trophy case that has all the coins that I've ever been given by any officer or the Secret Service all the way up. And my god, if this isn't the coolest fucking thing. The director of national intelligence here at a wacky comedy show, no big deal. I grew up doing Brazilian martial arts called Cacoeta.

7:33And when you get your first belt, they give you a Brazilian Portuguese nickname. And so my nickname was Leo, which means lioness. Wow. Which is, you know, the protector and the provider. So that's the symbols down the forehead in the middle is the Hawaiian symbol for warrior. And then Abe designed this, you know, being from Hawaii, the lioness is rising from the ocean, and the waves are forming a heart to mark the warrior's heart. And then there's eight rays of sunshine that mark in my old job, a commitment to transparency, truth, and I was the eighth director of National Intelligence. Oh my God.

8:10Brian Redban:That is so fucking cool. Wow. Wow. Oh my God, I love it. That is baller as fuck. I love this shit. I swear to God, you wouldn't believe it if I showed you even just my entranceway. You'd be like, wow, I didn't even know. This is a perfect fit. That's awesome. Thank you so much. That is so fucking cool. Hell yeah. Thanks for having us. Of course. You guys are the best always. I've been wanting to come and see you guys for a while. Absolutely. Well, it's going to be a really, really funny show. I have two great guests. And the three regulars I have are super solid. So it's going to be great. Are you spending more time here?

8:53I feel like every time I look, you're somewhere else.

8:55Brian Redban:Actually, I've been spending a lot more time here. But the other stuff is so big when I do it that it's crazy. I just did Madison Square Garden for the third year in a row two weekends ago. And that takes, for me, it takes two months straight. And especially the last few weeks get really, really, really, I put so much pressure on myself. And I'm so out of there. Isn't that what you comedians say is trauma makes you wonder? It is true. All the greats have it. And yeah, you can't buy it, so you've got to just have it getting to you. Give me some suffering. I need material. Yeah, so hopefully it all works out.

9:36Brian Redban:But yeah, I mean, other than that, the road has been, I'm trying to avoid it like the plagues of links. It's just so exhausting. Lights. Something about 30 ,000 feet in the air. I think one day we'll find out that it wasn't good for us. I don't think it's natural. You guys are trying to live forever. Brian, somebody. Yeah, I heard of him. I can't remember his name. Brian Johnson. Yeah, Brian Johnson. His girlfriend is Australian and he flew a third of Australia and did the medical calculations that that long flight to Sydney or whatever took off like 14 years of his life. Oh, that's great to know.

10:13Brian Redban:I've flown there seven times, I think, so that's perfect. Joe, go ahead, what are you doing? That's Joe White, everybody. Look at Joe White. You're perfect. You're killing it, Joe. I hope so, Tony. You're the man. You know Tulsi? This is Joe White, our photographer since our first venue here. Nice to meet you. Joe, how old are you now? 181. 181 years old. Awesome. You should get taken over to my guy. Every time I ask him, we do a joke where he increases it by one. You look great for 181, Joe. What's your secret? What kind of cigarettes do you smoke? Marlboro. Perfect. Perfect. Wait, that's very specific.

10:59you're killing it buddy i think they still make palm miles and they're about that long and there's no filter just like me just taking a raw dog hell yeah i love you joe

11:15Brian Redban:hello there you know every week i watch people come up here and absolutely destroy their self esteem. Unfortunately, Morgan and Morgan cannot help with that. But if you're actually injured because of someone else's negligence, now that's a different story. Isn't that the truth, Heidi? My goodness. Morgan and Morgan have been fighting for the people for more than 35 years. They've got more than 1 ,000 lawyers, 100 offices nationwide, and they've recovered over$35 billion for their clients. Red Band. So if your car gets totaled, you get hurt at work or or somebody else's bad decision becomes your very expensive problem, you can check out Morgan & Morgan.

11:56Brian Redban:Mm-hmm. No doubt about it. And let me tell you right now, you can go to forthepeople.com slash Tony to start your claim. Their fee is free unless they win. And again, hurt feelings do not count. Let me remind you, they've won a lot of people, a lot of money, and it's not easy to make a lot of money these days. So go out there and just basically use them to make yourself some money. find anything you can do make some money by using Morgan and Morgan if you have to you know create your own situation then do it and use them make some money go to Morgan and Morgan go to forthepeople.com slash Tony so that they know that we sent you and you know get yourself a little something extra

12:56When I like these things you can buy with money On a day that's wrong but a day that's sunny Take it off with my hands, put it up on sale They can't do it like me, they can't do it like me When it's all going up like a burning fever My feet on the ground like a super feeler, yeah. And I don't know much, but I know this one thing. They can't do it like me. They can't do it like me. I crave a real connection. I like to turn the page. Where my hands and my nails, they match my summer shape. Some call it superficial to want to touch the cover. But I'm a material lover, yeah, a material lover. I want a real thing now.

14:02When I step outside and I see what's happening, it's not fair, not fair, not fair, it's a pattern. When I go too far, we come back quickly. They can't do like me. They can't do it like, they can't do it like me I crave a real connection, I like to turn the page When my hands and my nails, they match my summer shade Some call that superficial, to wanna touch the cover But I'm a material lover, yeah I'm a material lover. Yeah. I want a real thing now. Mm. I want a real thing now. I do. I do. I do. I do. I do. Ooh, yeah. I'm a material lover. Yeah. Ooh. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

15:47What's the biggest audience you've had so far?

15:50Brian Redban:For our Keltoni show, geez, I mean, we just did our fifth and sixth shows at Madison Square Garden, which is like 14 ,000, 15 ,000 each show. So we now have the record. I have the record of the most comedy hours performed in Madison Square Garden. Yeah. We passed up Sebastian Maniscalco's 10 one hours with hitting 14 hours by doing a three-hour long show that many times. And plus I did stand-up for one hour on that stage last year doing stand-up only. And I did a 15-minute opening set for Joe Rogan right after COVID. It was delayed because of COVID. It's funny because when COVID happened, I'm like, oh my God, I'm not going to get to open up for Joe at Madison Square Garden.

16:38Brian Redban:This is crazy. It kept getting delayed and pushed back. And every time I was devastated. Little did I know that I would end up thereafter, like literally doing it more than anybody ever there. So crazy. So crazy. Very surreal to go from, I'm not going to get to do this 15 minute opening spot to six times selling out the garden. So crazy. And it all really happened because we got the fuck out of LA. We moved here and it said something about the show. If it was Kill Tony live from Los Angeles the last five or six years it just feels stale. Austin feels naughty. Somebody might have a gun or something.

17:24Brian Redban:Everybody does. Yeah, exactly. I went to a gun show. Wait till you guys go to your first real Texas gun show. There's one coming up next week. Oh my God, you're going to have so much fucking fun. I swear to God, my buddy's like, you know, I'm going to take you to a gun show. I'm going to take you to a gun show. I'm like, I don't know. It's finally the day. I'm like, I'm hungover. He's like, shut the fuck up. I'm picking you up. We'll be back. I'll have you back here in three or four hours. Picks me up, drives me 40 minutes out. You get to stop at Buc-ee's on the way. Huge win. Stop at Buc-ee's.

17:57Brian Redban:Whatever it is. Hey, what's up, brother? How are you? It's so good to see you again. Good seeing you. Ladies and gentlemen, Gary Owen, everybody. How are you?

18:09Good, thank you.

18:10Brian Redban:Oh, but the gun show, I got a fucking belt buckle, right? Just like this, you know, you take these off. These are all interchangeable, right? So I have one that now has a fucking gun in it. And you press a button like this, you go, katank, and it's loose. and you can fucking, if it were to go down, it's a mini 22. And it's literally that size. Oh my God, it's so fucking cool. It's crazy. Oh yeah. Oh, it's the coolest. I'm like, I was at the gun show. I'm like, does that work? And they're like, yeah. I mean, yeah, it's a gun. I haven't gotten to shoot it yet. I'm taking it to my buddy's ranch soon.

18:50Brian Redban:How was the drive down? Smooth? Where'd you find out? I didn't watch a show last week. I don't think it aired. The guy I was in the Navy with said he went up last week. I haven't seen him in 30 years. He sent me a message on Facebook. Black guy's name's Donnell Graves. Oh, man. Did I give him the golden ticket? I don't know. Is that what he said? No, he doesn't send me gold. He said my episode aired. Oh, that must have been. He hasn't messaged me in 20 minutes. Wow. And he just hit me up going, hey, are you in Austin? I'm like, yeah. And he goes, yeah, I didn't kill Tony last week. Wow. So that means his air's tonight, which is going to be huge for him.

19:25Brian Redban:I worked the door at the comedy store for four years before becoming a paid regular there. And I always used to request working the main room on Trippin' on Tuesdays because that's my fucking shit. I'm from the hood of Youngstown, Ohio. And I've seen it all. Like, I mean, like the way you were just, you're just so fucking hilarious. And it was always mind-boggling to me that you would get that respect in that room, and for whatever reason, whether it was you or them or whoever, you would only do there. It was the only place to see you. The back story was, I moved to LA and I did the whole wait in line on Sundays and Mondays to get the open mic.

20:12And I finally got picked, and there was five of us went up. It was four girls and me. And I went to fifth after the four girls. And when I went up, Mitzi had the four girls like in a powwow in the back of the room talking to them. And I go, I don't think she's watching this. And I'm sitting there going, she's not watching me. I'm doing my set. And in the back of my mind I'm going, she's not watching me. And then I called a couple of days later and said, yeah, I'm eating your pick. And I go, well, is there a reason? And they go, no, Mitzi just said you're not ready. I went, huh.

20:42Brian Redban:Wow. And all four girls played regular. Oh, my God. Just like this. Oh, my God. God, how annoying. I said I'm not going through that again. Right. That's really why I never really went up at all. I just did the Blackfrogs. Yup. That'll do it. You're doing it with Brian Simpson. Have you met Brian before? Brian. What change? You know Gary? No, I don't. I mean, I just met him first time. Nice. Brian's the man. Netflix special genius. Gary's the man. You guys know this. Oh, I know. I mean, I know who you are, obviously. You've been on this show before, so you know everything. That was a guy talking to me, wasn't it?

21:16Brian Redban:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, exactly. But it's going to be absolutely perfect. Tony, this started in the... Yeah, 13 years ago. 13? Yeah, we haven't missed a Monday release since June of 2013. Yeah. Consistency really is. It's been here for... Well, here in Austin for six, and at the mothership for four-ish. Three and some change. It was at a place called Vulcan Gas Company. Basically a block away. Half a block away. We picked up when we moved to Austin. We had to get out of LA to fucking blow up. Isn't that crazy? That's the craziest part of the whole thing. It really is. You think it would blow up in LA?

22:07In the entertainment capital of the world, Los Angeles.

22:10Brian Redban:Where everything exists. It's all real, we swear. So funny. Dude, that city's falling apart. I watched a thing today where they want to give homeless people sex areas. Do you know about this? Oh, dude. I saw that. That's insanity. Oh, my God. Taxpayer funding. Oh, totally. 100 % for sexual relief pods where you can go masturbate into or have sex with another homeless partner inside of these pods. 100 % LA taxpayer paid off. I just did a show last week for like the correction officers, some kind of shit in Vegas. I know they got condoms in the prison now. Condoms? Condoms in the prison. Wow. I was making a joke, something about having sex and stuff like that, right?

23:01And they said, no, we got condoms. It's on the wall. I go, what?

23:06Brian Redban:Oh my God. It's a matter of time before somebody escapes by blowing all of them up and going out like Condom balloon boys

23:27Kids a superstar so we'll see Oh, I saw him on TikTok! He does the, uh, Frank Sinatra? Collins messed me up a little. I guess, I don't know.

23:42Brian Redban:He's supposed to be like a prodigy or something else. I heard him, right? Re-show, not this song, but the other song. Fucking killed him. He did that. Have you been here before? It hurts, I'll be the first to say that I was wrong

24:06Oh, I know I'm probably much too late Trying to apologize for my mistakes But I just want you to know I hope he buys you flowers. I hope he holds your hand. Give you all his hours when he has the chance. Take it to every party, because I remember how much you love to dance. Do all the things I should have done When I was your man Do all the things I should have done When I was your man

25:18Oh, man, I forgot the hand. I had to try to high-five. Go get him a hug. I did. No, I grabbed his hand. I grabbed his hand. Great.

25:42Y 'all went to a little bit of some Macintosh. Make sure you know it's Macintosh. I'm here. Thank you, y 'all. This is an awesome legend. Oh, awesome.

25:53Brian Redban:Bro, we are laughing. It's been six years for me now. I never thought I was going to leave Los Angeles. I've been here six years. Every single fucking week, I find three to five new more things that I can't wait to go to again. It's the fucking best. We are all getting away with murder. We've been here for like a week. It's just been the most fun week of my life. I love it. We've been getting it after. Just doing fun shit all day, every day, meeting people. Oh, you're going to have a blast. Wait until you see the after party that we have after the show. I told you to make it last time, but we're going to try and pull through tonight.

26:28Yeah, we looked through the last time. We left out the last time. Yeah, we'll try and pull through. I don't want to see. I can't wait.

26:34Brian Redban:It'll be a blast. It's like, it's like... It's downstairs in the private bar connected to the thing. Yeah, it's gonna be a blast. So good to see you again. I haven't seen you since, what was that? The Super Bowl in New Orleans. Yeah, dude, it was fun. Yeah, yeah, a few years ago. I missed it this year. I didn't even know it was happening. That's how crazy Austin is. I'm like, I'm like man, I got nothing to do tonight. I'm just kind of chillin' I look online. It's like you and Gillis in the Ways to Whel booth nonetheless. I'm like, Ways to Whel? What the fuck? Dude, he's gonna be a trolley. Like, Gillis and I were like, yeah, Ellie's performing and shit.

27:21We're all fucked up. Of course. Did you know they were putting us on the Jumbo Tron? He goes, we got another recruit. Of course. No one told us. They told us it was a little super private. We're gonna take care of this. Yeah. So funny, of course. With the Ways to Wear logo over you, I'm sure.

27:38Brian Redban:Well, I'm going to go get this little show that I do started. Will do. Thank you. We're going to have some fun. And then I'll see you guys afterwards. Brigham, you have three seats right outside that balcony door, straight across. For you, Brigham, in at least one. I think Bruce is going to try to squeeze a couple more of your buddies up there too. Yes, sir.

28:28I've always said to me to them. I think we've got a few point value on their like nice, like setting lines. You know what I mean? Like that one I'd always watch when it was on. It's like, oh, I fucking like the light. That one is a shirt. That one is a shirt. That one is a shirt. Hopefully I'll catch you guys tonight. That's a sick ass. That one is a shirt. That's not a shirt. That's not a shirt. Tonight. Tonight we jam.

28:54Brian Redban:And I matched him up with one of my favorite local comedians that I work with every single

29:07Oh yeah, Gary motherfucking Owen is in the house and Brian goddamn Simpson.

29:16Brian Redban:Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit. Oh my God.

29:28Oh my god.

29:30Brian Redban:Ladies and gentlemen, how about a hand for the Kill To Me debut? Yeah, and you know, that's all I got. Thanks. Mark Donovan. Red Band. Red Band. Come on, Red Band. Grow up, Red Band. Hit it again. Hit it again, Red Band. Come on. If it happened to me, it can happen to you. You can run as fast as Usain Bolt in that ass's opening. That was good. I appreciate that one. That was good. Y 'all did a good job. Y 'all did a good job. What I want to know is how many people saw you running and called the cops? That's a tough life. They showed up, but I was like, I'm Joe Rogan friend. Perfect. That's right.

30:28Brian Redban:Get up off the fucking ground right now and go shit, sir. I was like, oh, Dark Storm. And then he just put the gun back in the whole thing every single time. It's a perfect living. Ladies and gentlemen, Dedrick Flynn, everybody. There he goes. The one and the only. And back to the bucket we go, everybody. We're having fun tonight. We're flying through it. Um, Um, alright, so let's talk about Beth. Are you still a stripper? Retired. How long ago did you retire? Five years ago. Five years ago. And when you retire, what do they do? Do they put your underwear in the rafters or something?

31:13So stupid. I don't know. You're going to get him.

31:19Brian Redban:Absolutely incredible. Oh, gosh. So Grant, tell us more about your life. What do we not know about you? It's a secret. You've got to put it on your nose. You're a hilarious guy. You have a podcast with a great Pat O 'Neal. He'll tell you. You have a real details. Why? Why? I do it so that when the light hits and there's like a shadow, like it makes your under your, it makes my nose look like it's going up. Little Marilyn Monroe trick for you. She knew what's up. I was working with a teenage girl who had experienced sexual trauma and she was navigating some pretty aggressive negative self-belief.

32:01Yes. Yeah. So I supported her in reclaiming that story. Nice. And finding a way to paint herself as the victor in this story.

32:13Brian Redban:Well, that's good. That's great, actually. Where's your wacky sound effect for that? Huh? What do you got there? Huh? What do you got? You just hit something. Hit anything. You're taking too long. Alright, Red Van, come on. You're a... He's a wild boy on these sound effects, Beth Ann. Beth Ann, what else about you before I get you out of here? Give us one more fun fact about the life of Beth Ann. Sure. Help mentioning sexual trauma. You guys aren't interested in that? No, we aren't. We are. We were just trying to pretend like we're better than that, but we're really not. So what happened to you?

32:54Brian Redban:Come on, tell us all about it. Come on, tell us all about it. We're a bunch of terrible men. We need a light coach. Blah!

33:09Brian Redban:So good. So good. I'm getting worried that Zac Efron wants you to be his good stand-in. Okay. Wow, Shane, so interesting. How long are you in town before? Wait, wait, wait. Okay, keep it going. Fantastic job. Seriously, we'll be here. Good shit, my brother. All right. Good shit, my brother. Appreciate it, man. Yeah, yeah. What's up? Wow, Shane. Shane, so interesting. How long are you in town for? As long as you want me to be. Wow, look at that. That's amazing. Looks like I have a new boyfriend. Hello. If you're here Thursday, I'd love to have you on the secret show Thursday.

34:03Southwest, I'll be changing my flights.

34:08Brian Redban:Shane, if you had to guess how much stand-up, like a full set, the longest set you could do, how much accumulated material, if you had to just give me a ballpark. My 15 is fucking solid. And are you writing at a good pace? Yeah, every Monday I try to write for the open mic there, and I try something new, try to do something new all the time. But yeah, my solid 15 set is sharp Razor sharp Where are you going to stay for the next three days? We're going to figure that out I got it, I got it I'll get your hotel room Look at that

34:55I need real tears, real tears

35:07Brian Redban:Man, I'm glad I followed my dreams. It gets better than that, Shane, because Brian Simpson is going to give you$100 to your GoFundMe. You're going to double your net worth here. And on top of all that, you just won a golden ticket on Kill Crown.

35:32I can't help it. I can't help it. We need people like you, Shane. Shane can't. Shane can't. Great. All right,

35:51buddy.

35:52Brian Redban:Hold that little ticket. All right, someone's gotta follow that. Someone's gotta follow that. Make some noise for your next fuckin' call, it is OG Ron Hackles.

36:06How are you feeling right now? Like it's, I'm living in a dream, like this isn't real. You know, it's a simulation or something, you know? I've been following, watching the show for 12 years. It's gotten me through a lot. and just to be here now is crazy I mean I'm broke I spent all my money getting here for the chance that I might not make it but I was alright with that because you got to try and I would have hated myself for not trying and I mean this is crazy and I prepared I prepared and watched like game film watch what people did wrong where they made the mistakes and I studied I feel like I was ready you know like that particular bit I've worked on for two years yeah just getting every just the I don't know it was it's the one I wanted to bring here because it's so unique I think as a joke because it's misdirection now anyways I don't want to get into the nitty gritty jokes but you know I loved it I mean I mean, that was, and I love Tony.

37:18I've seen him live, you know, perform. He's incredible. You get tired of laughing at him because he makes you laugh so much. So just to stand there and him laugh at me, you know, that meant the world. How long have you been doing comedy? How has your journey been? You talked about a lot of your, like, the aspiring comics, like how, what is your lowest of the lows? Tell me all the time. Well, I mean, right away when I started at 18, I'm 41. When I started in New York, I was hopeful and excited, but I didn't know anything. And I got my ass handed to me in New York and I went broke. And, you know, I felt like giving up and I did for a while.

38:00And then it's like I had no hope. And then all of a sudden, after COVID, there was all these open mics. And it's like I got reignited and it all came back to me. you know after so long and uh yeah i can't believe i'd given up i just thought i was gonna work in a warehouse the rest of my life you know but now being on kill tony gives a comic a chance to like book shows you know like people will uh like at home i have trouble um getting along with comics sometimes but this you know I'm probably rambling because I'm out of my mind right now they say like so many people in their 40s it feels like oh time to give up yeah I'm gonna give up how do you get that resilient I think well when I perform when I'm doing these open mics and I I know that I belong on there I'm a natural-born comedian so when I'm doing it it feels right you know so for me it's like I felt like I had no other option because I'm not good at anything else I've like I said I've had a lot of jobs and I lose a lot of jobs because I have trouble keeping my mouth shut you know I don't know if I say you just got to go through hell it's like all about how you walk through the fire you know you gotta you got to just keep going that's all like be around common that's it if I could go back till my 18 year old self something just stay around it as long as possible if you've got to work the door if you got to do anything just be there around it and you know when you're not around it you know out of sight out of mind you know well my heart's pounding but I have a ritual so you know a bad habit of performers on stage is rocking back and forth like I'm doing right now you're not grounded but what I'll do before a show is squat down and hold this you know sometimes I'll just squat but then when I'm out there I'm grounded you know my feet are on that floor and your voice when you're grounded comes out different you know and so my preparing you know I'm nervous you know my heart's beating but I'm just thinking about this you know I mean that's why I like comedy it's a I everything I like motorcycles you know boxing stuff like this it's all stuff you have to live in the moment or you it's better if you do live in the moment not an up in here you know and that's why I like being on stage it's and boxing or motorcycle you're either there or you're dead.

40:49You're either funny or you're not. It's black and white and I love that. How many times have you tried to get on tilt? This is my third time. I went to Madison Square Garden, the one recently. I went both nights, signed up, and didn't get picked. But beforehand, you keep in your mind that your defeats and your victories, you kind of got to treat them the same, if that makes sense. You know, they're kind of like, you can't let defeat affect you. And you can't let victory affect you. You know, go to your head. You've got to keep going forward. And then if you win, great. You know how much I've lost?

41:32I've lost everything several times, you know? I've been down and out several times. But I just kept going. That's incredible, though. One last question. How does it feel that Zac Efron and Tulsi Gabbard just watched you win a Golden Ticket? Really? They're literally in the audience. Fuck yeah, that's awesome. That's, yeah, that's fucking awesome. I had no clue. But the most important audience member to me or that was, I just wanted Tony to see me do my thing and see, and I was prepared if he didn't like it. I would have been okay with it. I just wanted him to see it, what I've been working on, you know?

42:17But yeah, that went better than I could have imagined. Can you flash that real quick? Yeah.

42:42It's gonna be a singing interview.

42:44Brian Redban:Truly, I swear you can tell from this episode, truly one of the funniest fucking huge beings in the world. It was such an honor to have you here tonight, Gary. Like I said before, I got you out. I've always wanted you on this show. Since I was a door guy at the comedy show, before you started the show, you've always been on my day. But you've never met Gary Owen. Thank you. Great job, Mike. Dickie Crick, you killed him on your house. I'm sorry, it's the motherfucking male. I'm not. Did you get that from Gia's social? I got it. That was great for its two year license in India. Killed it. The whole thing is to go into a Black Panther choice and then I don't even need to use it.

43:26What was the Black Panther?

43:28Brian Redban:Well there's a new Black Panther. Could have fooled me. But then the other one is about like, it's long. It's like a long choice for my standards. You don't need to use it.

43:53Oh my God. How'd you feel about the show today? That was great. That was great. That's the best. I've done it a few times. That's the best one ever. For sure. That's one of the best episodes. Great time, Gregor. What's this? A little camera back. Oh, man. Thank you. How did you feel about the show? That was fun. It was better than I thought it was going to be. I had high expectations, but it exceeded it. Now I've got to get this guy's hotel room. Trust it. Here it is.

44:31Better than ever. Better than ever. I feel like showing it.

44:37Brian Redban:Unbelievable. So much fun, so much fun. I can't believe we keep having this much fun doing this. Woo, it's fun, it's exhausting.

45:10Yeah. I love it, man. Wow. That was so good.

45:15Brian Redban:I love it. Thank you. Good job. He's here, right? The guy? He'll be here, yeah. Okay. Yeah, every time someone wins a golden ticket, they get automatically invited into their team. Okay. It was like every bucket for it was either a great interview or a great comment. That was a good one, man. So glad Grant caught up too, man. I fucking love Grant so much. Grant, because I see Grant all the time, but I didn't know he was that funny. Yeah, he's funny. He's funny as fuck. I didn't realize that. Like, I guess I never really... Yeah, everybody was great, man. And then... I thought old boy might have been a miss, but he the truth.

45:47Who, man? Pat O 'Neal? Pat O 'Neal's the motherfucking truth. That's the shit, dude. All right. I took him to San Diego to feature for me a while ago. Halfway through his set, just standing ovation halfway through his set before he even fucking got off stage. Oh, yeah. I mean, the boy... The boy... Wait, it's hard to follow that he's sharp jokes per minute. It's hard to follow especially me and you're like different

46:18There's a line

46:23We need to start wearing diapers. I just need to wear diapers

46:35Thank you, buddy yeah

47:09Yeah, Lord knows how long for what exactly you went to federal

47:16Brian Redban:Just homemade pharmaceuticals, right? Yeah, exactly. There I was selling pharmaceuticals. Because the fans will find this fucking, they'll find the dirt on that guy. Can I get a quick picture of you guys? Yeah, let's take a example. All right

48:02I'm like, so muddy bro. So good. Oh my god. That was a great episode. That was a good one. That was really good. That was like, there was like, there was like, black hair tight.

48:16I literally started tearing up with that hair. That was so, like, awful. You just changed his life? Yeah. What do you got to see? Yeah. I mean, even like, I started doing something. Yeah, yeah. I didn't talk about music. Oh, yeah, yeah. We were talking about all the same guys.

48:52I love you, man. You fucking best it. I'm gonna check out your special ASAP online. I can't see it. I'll appreciate it. It's nice to meet you in person, man. I'm a big fan. You're here too. Yeah. Definitely. Yeah. Our hit rate is the second time you got hit. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The interview's great. The interview's surprising. Yeah. I'm just got fun. Oh. Oh. How you doing? Yeah. You. Yeah. That was so good. Yeah, you were the only one who sent me. Hey, that's my job, man. I can't play that game. I can't play that game. I gotta compete with him or whatever. Dude, I wanna see the rest of the stage.

49:40I'm gonna play the rest of the stage. Thanks so much for that. Awesome. By the way, I am on pressure. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Verified, verified. I always know, bro. I took a trombone. If you don't live the dream, let's just make sure. And that's the living room for the day. And they stole the phone. And they had to figure out how I could get back on the phone. I'm going to say how much food. I had to go out there with a fucking printout of my flight out there. And then I had to go back to the store or something. And I had to go back into the store. I was like, nobody's taking the phone. Oh, you're white.

50:24I just wasn't being illegal. Yeah, I was saying. People go, why do you not have a phone? Oh, you're fucked. My hand was like, I tried to find the phone store. And I'd like go off of memory. I was like, where is this shit? And I'm walking. As I'm walking, I'm walking to the corner. Standing in the corner is fucking Ron White. He's like, hey, DJ. And I'm like, what's up, dude? He's like, man, I'm having a hard time. I just fucking went down and fucking came over because my phone's not working right. I stood there for an hour. Nobody can fucking help him. And then somebody finally walks over and talks to me.

51:04He can't fucking help me. So I had to go fucking, I don't know. What are you doing? I'm trying to fire me. Have you seen his impression? You're fucking amazing wrong life. You do it wrong. We were standing at the corner because I was bringing up somebody's phone pop and I was like, I remember the next morning, we were getting to do the Inuit down for Kentucky. And so I went and I'm walking and Ron White just came and got in the car. I was like, what's up, man? Because I got to bed. But sometimes he was like, how are you doing, man? I said, how are you doing? He said, I just left two bones and I walked in, stood there for 30 minutes.

51:44Nobody could do anything. Finally some other fucker walks up to me and he can't fucking help me. And his phone just won't work right. And then he's with the fucking snow white hair. I'm like, I know what happened. It's taken out of me. There he is. He's like, what's going on with that?

52:06That's it now. Wow.

52:09Brian Redban:Hell yeah. I don't think you can beat last time I was here. That was one of the best episodes I've ever seen. Thank you, buddy. Thank you. You gonna party with us downstairs? I love it. I love it. Fuck yeah. We're doing it.

52:45Thank you.
