2:20What's up, everybody? Welcome to Kind of Funny Games Daily for Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026. September 2nd, huh? I'm one of your hosts, Greg Miller. alongside Samir's daddy at Tim Geddes. Tim Host. How are you doing, Greg? I'm awesome. How are you? Yeah, you seem awesome. Spooky season has begun. Spooky season, September 2nd. I'm not going to lie. Barrett, it's probably time to bring out the Halloween intro. It's probably time to bring out the Halloween season daily intro. Two months. You want two months. My contract says it's time to start celebrating, baby. It's time to start celebrating. This Christmas shit is already on the shelves, too.
2:52I don't need to deal with that. It's my time. Why is it Nick? This is my time. Can we get rid of the beard so it's just the stash? Oh, I'm sorry. You're talking about John, the skeleton mixologist from Home Depot. Of course, everybody remembers last year, Home Depot said, hey, Greg, we know how much you love Halloween. Why don't we send you the Megalodon? This time they sent me John. Have you met John? Have you met John? I did. I did. I was on a very important business call in the conference room yesterday as I see you walking around with this thing. And everyone, I need you to know, you will see this at some point.
3:23Greg walking with this thing. I've never seen him walk that way. he's doing this weird little shuffle thing going on I don't know what it is I don't like it you gotta take care of John that's all you gotta oh my god herbs from our deathly garden to spruce up your cocktails
3:41nightshade and Venus flytrap better than your typical pumpkin spice martini so grab a chair and let's see who has the best scary story this is a product that they're selling $180 they sent it to me for free because I love Halloween, Tim. They love me and I love them. Thank you, Home Depot. Oh, man. Thank you. Mike let him talk. Mike let him co-host the stream yesterday where Mike just let John be talking the entire time. Mike'd up the entire time. The fact that it's John bothers me. A lot of people in the chat when he first saw him, they said, oh, it's Chris Anka. How do you feel about that? Cameron Kennedy says, what is the use case?
4:15And like, that is a great question. What's the use case of John the Mixologist? What's that? You want to try my famous witch's brew that gets you feeling so good? you'll howl at the moon there you go there's your answer of course it'll just cost you your soul but trust me it's worth it i don't know if through the mic you guys can hear the the ear piercing peaking that the audio is doing but that's actually a feature that's not weather it's the echo of john i got real news to do hold on you can just go to lights only mode you don't worry about it man. What's the use case? The use case is celebrating the greatest holiday in the world.
4:55On September 2nd. Yeah. The chill is in the air. The leaves are changing color. The kids are all bundled up going to school. Even you must agree this is egregious, right? I know you love it. I understand that you would have the whole year be Halloween. But like September 2nd, man. It's just every year October goes quicker and quicker. So here we are on the verge of Halloween. It's time to get into the spirit. You know what I mean? Get spooky with it. Have some fun. Really gear up on it. You know what I mean? Outside of... I was pushing for one week for you. One week leading into Halloween for the intro.
5:28Yeah. And here you are two months away. Have you ever thought about pushing for a game showdown championship? Because you fucked that up four times in a row now. It's crazy. In different ways every time.
5:42I do want everyone to use their best judgment on John and, of course, the Megalodon. I can't believe the Megalodon has survived an entire year especially when we have kind of funny top 100 games and that's what I'm building to I don't think John makes it to Halloween I don't think the Megalodon makes it to Halloween we need to make room for the people there's going to be a lot of space there's going to be 100 people over here we got to clear everything out and get in I don't think John is human sized enough that I think we can make John work maybe there's been some discussions about the Megalodon we have the bar card over there and it already has that thing where you push him in the corner He's there all the time.
6:18Big deal. John's hanging out. Yeah. John is bigger than Nick. Well, everything's bigger than Nick. Ben's bigger than Nick. You know what I mean? Yeah, that wasn't a great argument. What is that? What is Ben going to be taller than Nick? It's really when we get interesting, like, oof, is Nick bigger than David the Gnome? Like, I don't know. Especially with that point he had. He had.
6:39He's on vacation. We can say whatever we want. We'll never know. We'll never know. We'll never know what we're talking about. We're going to live forever. Oh, my God. Tim, we've already BSed a lot, but are you having a good day? I'm having a great day. How is Top 100 Prep going for you? You seem stressed. Oh, I'm just tired. It's going very well. Okay. This show is about to be so damn awesome. Cameron Kennedy's in the chat. The stuff that he is working on that you will see on this wall, whether you're in this room or at home, oh, my God. It's all-timer. It's the next level, next level. I can't believe.
7:07David, no. Remember the guy from Happy Days. If you split your eyes a little bit, it does look like Nick with the stupid hat. But, man, no. We're working on some shit that, like, y 'all ain't never seen before. I don't want to say too much. But like you've all seen it Barrett's been working so hard We have Kevin out there working on some tech things That the world has never seen And they're working I can't believe it I was like doing the top level explanation to Jen Of how hectic it is here right now It's the usual kind of funny thing where you're like Oh top 100 I know what that looks like And you have no idea what that looks like No idea Because we've done live events We've done them a whole bunch We've never done five days of them With people in our own space there's so much things to figure out but they're getting figured out i don't want to jinx it but like so far so good not going well remember of course top 100 is coming in october you can't buy tickets but if you are coming there is a victory parade for team orange every day at the end of it just like i'll be at uh pax on friday doing the keynote there's a victory parade there if you want to come to the thing and yell about team orange and same thing when you go to blizzcon on saturday but today's gregway covers all that let alone yesterday's amazing games daily instead let me remind you that this is kind of funny games daily.
8:16We run you through the nerdy video game news. You need to know about each and every weekday. You can be part of the show live by live chatting and super chatting over on youtube.com slash kind of funny games. I read the super chats the best I can over here. Just like Justin, who says, did Tim, Tim, did you ever catch brand new dat in four DX? Brand new day for DX. No, I did not. I chose not to. Instead. I did the screen X for that one. Cause it was shot in screen X. And I was like, if I'm going to do one gimmick for, I saw it three times in theaters. um and i was like for my one gimmick watch i'm gonna try screen x never again screen x is an abomination it should be burned they should they should not allow that to happen in theaters it's so so freaking bad greg what's wrong about what's bad about it like rejects on the sides and it's bullshit it's like it's either ai nonsense or even when it's like shot for it it just means the entire room is incredibly bright and it's distracting as hell it sucks it's great for concerts.
9:11Yeah, for like additive fun. There's like very specific use cases, but not for a movie. But I would also make the argument that the ScreenX auditoriums have not great sound, so they're not great for concerts. Okay. Of course, we can do this at our producers over on Patreon.com slash kindoffunny. So thank you Omega Buster, Delaney the Somatwini, and Michael Pesavento. Hell yeah. Shout out to Michael. A new Patreon. A new one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I hear it's his birthday. I hear it's your birthday Is it really? Yep Happy birthday Michael Happy birthday However for now Let's begin with what is And forever will be The Roper Report Time for some news We have six items On the Roper Report A baker's dozen TBJ fan enters late And says Greg There's a monster behind you That's just John The robot bartender Or the skeleton bartender I'm sorry John the skeleton bartender Don't worry about it robot.
10:09Joey Radstone super chat that says John looks like he's about to sell me a very expensive cheeseburger with garlic aioli fries. That's accurate. He is definitely the hipster bartender. You know what I mean? Eric Castro should be offended. I just noticed he has tattoos. You like that on the bone? Yeah. Where the belly meets the bone. Arturo Tron robot robot bartender says I feel attacked by that skeleton bartender. That's very funny. Number one on the report. I walked out of Screen X. No. I walked out. Did you get money back? No. Wow. I just walked out. That was, I think going too far. Fair enough.
10:42My choice, my money. You know what I mean? you know what you're getting into. Could have just waited for her to come home and watch on your phone. Number one on the Ripper Report, GTA 6 Extended Look tops Netflix charts with 31.1 million views in four days. This is Jennifer Moss over at Variety. With only six hours of exclusivity before it hit YouTube, Netflix's Grand Theft Auto 6 Extended Look became the streamer's most viewed title last week. Between its release on August 27th at 3pm ET and Sunday, August 30th, the end of Netflix's viewing window for its weekly top 10 rankings, the 27-minute GTA 6 special drew 31.1 million views.
11:21The extended look at the highly anticipated Rockstar Games title, which marks an entirely new category of entertainment for Netflix, was classified under the English language film list for the week. It was number one on that list in 87 of 93 countries that Netflix tracks globally. For comparison, Grand Theft Auto 6 and extended look views have topped 17 million on YouTube, just on the Rockstar Games account only, as of the time of publication Tuesday. The video was posted to YouTube by Rockstar Games at 9pm ET last Thursday following its exclusive debut earlier that day on Netflix. It should be noted here that YouTube and Netflix count views very differently.
11:59Netflix defines a view as the total hours viewed for a title divided by its runtime, meaning one household watching a program twice would be counted only once. on YouTube, a view is counted as soon as any video, parentheses, whether it's a short or repeat viewing or partial plays, end parentheses, starts to play. That's not fully true. That last part with YouTube of it starting as soon as the video starts to play started this Monday. Okay. That's a new feature. Okay. Big deal. Should we call it Jennifer? We should. They should correct the article. Alright, hold on. Let's crack at a variety. Mm-hmm.
12:33Are you at all impressed that this is doing so well? No, no, no. I mean, on top of this, it's like, it's doing well, obviously, on every single platform imaginable. But I saw it was the number one, like, new trend on TikTok was people showing their, like, majority of it was, like, husbands watching the GTA 6 on Netflix and getting all excited and just, like, being like, who else is experiencing this exact same thing I am right now? Got it. And that was, like, the number one thing happening on TikTok. And that's just organic marketing, right? Like, that's just, like, earned marketing for them. So yeah, GTA six, who would have thought it's going to be big.
13:09And for everyone that's just like, I don't understand why people keep talking about it. It's like, yeah, guys, here we are. It's happening. That special look looked absolutely incredible. People, old ladies watching this shit, not understanding it's a video game. They're just like, why is this TV show cut so weird? It's wild. Okay. Fair enough. I appreciate that one. Yeah. I think this is the tip of the iceberg and these numbers just start to sound like white noise at some point. We know how big GTA six is. We know how big GTA six is going to be not shocking that it's, you know, destroying on Netflix, destroying on YouTube.
13:43It will be shocking, but it won't be like, well, I don't know what number they could possibly say when it launches and how much money it's made and all that stuff in the first 24 hours in the first moment. That isn't going to be like, yeah, I expected that. Yeah. I expect this to blow everything out of the fucking water. Yeah. Oh, for sure. And it's just going to keep happening. This was just, you know, the first giant marketing beat of the actual run into release in a couple months. Like, I wonder what we're going to get now. Like, I wonder where we go from here in terms of the big marketing play.
14:13What do you think we get from here? What does GT6 marketing look like from here? So thinking about it, let's stop here. Is there going to be a press influence or whatever hands-on event preview? I know that we always talk about like, oh, it's Rockstar. They can do whatever they want. And we tend to say that in, oh, they do things their own way, which means they're not going to do things the way that previously has been done. But I also just can't see a real argument for why that's the case when you can just do whatever, do more. Like, I don't think that there is a limit to new eyes that could be interested in this game.
14:43Like, I think that this is such a big deal and such a big event that the more opportunities you have to turn on a different group of people, you should take that. Because I think there's just an inherent interest in this game that is very, very, very unique. And I think that's inarguable. The amount of money being put into this is a marketing thing to itself. It is its own marketing beat where I brought this up earlier, where it's like the Avatar movies, the James Cameron Avatar movies, the blue people, they are currently the biggest box office of all time. Insult. Like currently Avengers end game beat it.
15:20It re-released it. It came back. Right. And you look at the top five, like the movies, I think in the top 10, all three avatars are in there. I'm pretty sure the, uh, the two are in the top five. That's nuts. But why it's because part of the marketing is how big of a spectacle it is, how expected that they were. Like, it's not about the quality. It's not about if people go to movie theaters, they did for that. That's the same thing here is I think that because there is so much spectacle to this people that don't normally play games will be interested in this. So follow my line of thinking on this then, right?
15:52of like you're there's never a there's always new people to find i don't think traditional video game press finds that right so like that's where i think it does rockstar get even weirder with it first off i think no preview i think nobody touches this until review if they do a review event which i'm still or review codes or whatever i'm still not sold on that's actually going to happen right so if that's the case traditional press traditional ign's kind of funnies game spots, whatever they're covered by whatever the review thing looks like. And then it is like for this preview section, how do you reach an audience that isn't on Netflix and isn't here?
16:28You know what I mean? Like, I think that's the question then that gets to have like, I don't even know what you do. I guess a lot, like if I'm, and I know nothing about the current landscape of outside of video games, but like, if I'm trying to reach a new audience outside of this, I'm thinking, okay, my, my, my traditionalist thing was let's go to the tonight show and play it there. But even that, I'm like, no, that's not the right fit for it. And then it's like, well, what if you did, we are going to do GTA theater events where it is like a fathom event that I was here about, right? Where it is one night only they're playing an hour of GTA.
17:00They do one mission or 30 minutes of it. That could be something. I mean, dude, I I'm just of the mind of if it was me, I would be everywhere. Like I just don't, there's no value in not going to the traditional places that gamers are because this is a video game. I think that they can still win over a big group of people that are against this just because it's GTA and just because it feels like it's cool to hate on popular things. But I think that there's so much actual core game to this. And this presentation showing that it is much closer to a Red Dead Redemption 2 than any GTA we've ever seen before.
17:34I think that the more game that they show here, they can actually win over the pessimistic gamers. and you do that by going to where the gamers are, which is all these sites. And I don't know that they're going to, I'm not betting on it, but I'm just saying like, I think it'd be silly for them not to do that. In addition to paying for literal movie trailer space, have this thing show up before every single big movie coming out, like have this, whether it's a fathom event or not, like yes, do all of that stuff. They have the money to do it and they're going to make more from it. Like this is again, a very unique situation that we have never seen before.
18:09And also they have the means to spend the money to make the money. So why not? And the argument to that would be, they, they know that they're going to sell so much that they have the moment that they care from a creative point of view. And there is a passion from the team of being like, no, we want everyone to experience this at once. There's something so special about that. And that is a choice, but that is a choice that is going to cost them a lot of money, but they don't need money. like it's a it's a real catch 22 i think in a good way where it's like i don't think they can do wrong but here feel me out of this okay things i would do a subject line exclusive preview body dear rock star i'm writing this live on kind of funny games daily why don't you come do an exclusive hands-on preview stream with kind of funny question mark and i just signed it greg now we you can help you want to massage this we can say something there we think you'd reach a new audience.
19:02Are we going to put that in there? We could reach in. We can promote. Roger will make a social video. We say that. I mean, yeah, why not? Right. People like social videos. Okay. Okay. We can't promise it'll be viral, but with their help, we could. Yeah. Yeah. Say that. We can't promise it'll be viral, but with your help, we could. We can't promise it. It would go viral. I want everybody. You are watching. We're never getting invited there. Legitimately is probably going to send this email. This is not a hundred percent going out. Rockstar. He's a hundred percent going to send this out. And it's like, Lee invited us to Scotland.
19:46They let us on. That's too bad. You got to tick on you. Now you can't get rid of it. The amount of calls I've been getting or texts or just messages over the last week, Greg from people I haven't talked to in like 10 years that are like, let me get this straight. They said you guys, the New York Times, IGN, and some British magazine. That's it. Yeah, that was it. That's all I needed. All right, here. So exclusive preview. Dear Rockstar, I'm writing this live on Kind of Funny Games Daily. Why don't you come do an exclusive hands-on preview stream with Kind of Funny? Roger will make a social video, semicolon, because that's always impressive.
20:17We can't promise it would go viral, comma, but with your help, comma, it could. Exclamation. Thank you for your consideration, Greg. I'm sure they're not stressed right now. I'm sure they're not working on anything. You know, whether it is the game or any of the marketing beats that we're talking about. Oh, he sent it. Man. I mean, you, you know, at this point though, everybody, we might get it. We've already proven what we can do here. Greg has proven me wrong my entire life. A hundred percent. I look at you. I'm like, this is an example of how not to act. And every single time it proves me wrong.

Mr. Rogers is also bad. Sirlock would shut the fuck up.
23:26No. No. No. Bullshit. No. We're not caught up with Dr. Seuss anymore. People are saying things about Mr. Rogers, but I can't believe. That's not true. Tom Hanks played him. Tom Hanks? Yeah. The only bad thing about Tom Hanks is his son. Chet Hanks? Yeah. What's wrong with him? He's just problematic. Oh, I don't know. He's real problematic. I don't know, man. I don't freaking know either. Hold on, let me refresh. I'm all worked up. See if Rockstar responded. They haven't responded. No, not yet. Yeah. Last three minutes.
24:00Hold on, I'm doing some other stuff here. I really want to talk about a later story on the show. We're going there. Number two. Is this it? No. Rockstar Games reveals its official GTA Online role-playing server. I started shutting down mid-sentence. Server, no pixel, five. Or is it V? It's got to be five. This is a Roman numeral, right? Because it's off GTA V. Just making sure. This is Cade over at IGN. Rockstar Games has revealed its official GTA Online role-playing server, NoPixel 5, ahead of GTA 6's launch. Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most popular games of all time, and part of that is thanks to major community support.
Read the full transcript
24:34In the late 2010s and early 2020s, modders went particularly crazy with the foundation Rockstar created and utilized it for role-playing servers, such as the extremely popular NoPixel. Rockstar has embraced this side of the community, acquiring the team behind the 5M modding platform and collaborating with NoPixel itself. Now, NoPixel is gearing up to release the next iteration of its roleplaying server, which will be officially supported by Rockstar Games. The two teamed up to produce a much richer and deeper roleplaying experience that will feature a reworked character customization system, enhanced graphics, and a wealth of quality of life changes.
25:10Perhaps the most notable thing for longtime GTA fans is that the Mile High Club, a building that has been under construction since the game's very first reveal trailer in 2011 has been finished exclusively for No Pixel. The building is now a hotel and casino for role players. The server will be available directly through Rockstar's official launcher, meaning you won't have to tinker with any third-party tools or platforms. And players will be able to see it in action on September 8th, when a bunch of the top RP streamers will be let loose on the streets of Los Santos. Pretty freaking cool. Very cool.
25:44I would say, and this is somebody who's been casually covering this story and all this stuff, unexpected. Where I thought, oh, they've bought the GTA role-playing people. That'll be in the next gen of GTA Online. That'll be GTA 6's Online. They'll use it there. I wouldn't have expected this as a launch here. I mean, it's brilliant. Like, going back to a game that has a massive install base and still massive player base and enhancing it and making it better. Maybe that's about a story that I want to talk about later. But it also is a story about this, and it's very, very cool. I do, I'm going to pull one of those Tim was right moments where like, I just, at some point, I just needed, I needed to be said, I haven't said this since GTA 6 has really been talked about a lot more.
26:23I fucking knew online wasn't going to be coming with a day and date. I knew it was going to be coming anytime soon. I was, I was saying it was, it's going to be like a year away. And everyone's like, no, no, not everyone, but there's a couple. I was like that. I'm not going to name names. I'm not going to name names, not naming names. I wouldn't ever do that. But what I will do is say that this makes sense. And I think that, yeah, just get people thinking about GTA. it's the gta you have yeah nobody's thinking about gta get more people this goes back to my argument story number one it's just like the world thinking about this game give them any entry point they can possibly have to be interested in gta specifically gta online because if you can't get gta 6 for whatever reason it is whether it's uh not having a next-gen console or something like that sure get them back into online make them care so that eventually when online does get upgraded to 6 they're there or it gets ported to pc 6 or whatever that is it's just like yeah this is great marketing for gta 6 and it's going to make millions of dollars yeah i you know again i'm interested in the quality of life changes they're talking about as i've said as we've talked so much about grand theft auto recently uh you know when gta online did launch i was excited for thinking it might be a world i would get into but the minutiae and how it worked and how clumsy clumsy it was to do things was always so off-putting to me that it just chased me away and so my hope has always been that with whatever the next GTA online is, that'll be modern, easy to drop into, have a lot of fun with.
27:46You look at this, you go, okay, well, what have they added here? What have they done here? And I've never done a role-playing server. You know what I mean? I know Gary had a lot of fun doing those in the past. I'd seen some of his streams. It'd be fun to jump in and see what it's all about. Yeah, for sure. And then being supported this way is incredibly cool. Incredibly cool. Speaking of support being incredibly cool, everybody, did you know you can get all of our shows ad-free? Botox, autobotulinum toxin A, prevents headaches in adults with chronic migraine. It's not for those who have 14 or fewer headache days a month. Prescription Botox is injected by your doctor. Effects of Botox may spread hours to weeks after injection, causing serious symptoms. Allerge your doctor right away, as difficulty swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems, or muscle weakness can be signs of a life-threatening condition.
31:42Patients with these conditions before injection are at highest risk. Side effects may include allergic reactions, neck and injection site pain, fatigue, and headache. Allergic reactions can include rash, welts, asthma symptoms, and dizziness. Don't receive Botox if there's a skin infection. Tell your doctor your medical history, muscle or nerve conditions, including ALS Lou Gehrig's disease, myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome, and medications, including botulinum toxins, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects. Why wait? Ask your doctor. Visit BotoxChronicMigraine.com or call 1-800-44-BOTOX to learn more.
32:13they say Tim that absolute power corrupts absolutely true but as someone with absolute power a four-peat in game showdown my man John the bartender behind me I'll let you know that I like to use my power for good and I like to take care of you especially when you're on such a downswing so I'm moving story number four to story number three just for you story number three Mario Kart 8 Deluxe just got a Switch 2 update, adding local 8 player and more. This is Charles Hart over at Game Informer. Mario Kart World was the Switch 2's biggest launch title, finally providing a sequel to the biggest Mario Kart game of all time.
32:52However, today Nintendo updated Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, originally released in 2017, enhancing its Switch 2 support with some added features. It's a surprising move, as one might assume Nintendo would have fully moved over to the newer game. But 8 Deluxe is the best-selling Switch game of all time, and many still prefer 2 World, so it's a welcome improvement. The most impactful change for most is the addition of more players for local multiplayer. Previously, the mode was capped at 4 racers, but now it supports up to 8. It makes for a cramped screen, but it's nice to have the option. It's also worth noting that you can only connect 7 Switch 1 controllers to a Switch 2, so at least one of the 8 controllers has to be the Switch 2 Pro controller or Joy-Con 2.
33:35The Switch 2 version of the game will now have shorter load times and higher resolution as well on both the Switch 2 display and connected TVs. And for all of you fans of camera play, you can now use a USB camera in online play in local multiplayer. Why the camera plays? Sure, yeah, ass play. That said, the latter is capped at four players. You can't have eight players with cameras. There are also some minor updates that also apply to the Switch 1 version of the game. all player speeds have been increased quote by the equivalent of one coin and quote that's my favorite part the how specific it is yeah but like that's the update that i'm like why like does it make it more aligned with mario kart world i don't know wait what what is it the coin the entire the game speed uh-huh is increased by the the speed that one one point gives you you know each coin gives you a slight speed boost yeah so now the default speed is up one it's up one coin okay okay the boo power up will now make you immune to slowing down even while off-roading and players with the booster course dlc can now do versus races with up to 96 courses this is unbelievable and i am so so happy about it so stoked this is happening and i would have bet it wouldn't happen good guy nintendo so here we go with nintendo making more moves that are just completely inconsistent when it comes to switch to upgrades where some get switched to additions.
35:04Some just get these free patches. Some get free patches with updates that would be the equivalent to what you're getting with new content in a switch to addition. That's what like, it's all over the place. But the thing about Mario cart eight deluxe is I thought because of Mario cart world, it's like they were, they want the distinction. They're going to move on. And because of that, they're not going to actually give it even a proper patch. And that's so unfortunate to me because i think no matter what way you look at it mario kart 8x is the definitive mario kart game and i don't think it'll ever be beat in the same way that smash brothers ultimate is the definitive smash brothers agreed and there will be new ones but this is the pinnacle of 96 courses going back throughout its entire history like all of the updates that they they put to this game over almost 15 years or whatever it is dating back to the wii u but because the game came out on the wii you.
35:52And then on the switch, it was stuck with lower resolutions. And one of the bigger problems of the game is when you play it on a 4k screen, it looks like you're playing a low res game. Now it's 4k. Now it was always 60. So that's still great. A couple of things here that are a little bit weird. They, the four player split screen is still 30. And like, I, there's definitely enough power to make that. So I don't know why they didn't do that. Adding the eight player. This is such a weird novelty that definitely has use cases for people um you can do it on your table i was watching uh breakdowns of people doing comparisons the load times it's three times faster it takes load times down from 12 seconds to like four seconds that's so damn cool yeah and it looks so much better like the resolution bump is incredibly noticeable um and yeah this is just awesome stuff because i i just never thought that nintendo of all groups would go back and enhance their games with their new tech especially with you know now that they have their ecosystem that they've been building on that we're not resetting every single time of waiting for games to come to virtual console to buy like oh man now new console gotta wait for mario 3 again it's like they have this nso that's just transferring from switch to switch 2 but with all these like upgrades i'm like this gives me hope that as we progress further like maybe that's awesome but like dude i know i know i know that's zoomed in i know i know i mean look at that look at the resolution difference i see and like it's this is phenomenal and again weird they added even more content to it without charging for it but i'll take it the thing for me is we're running out of games uh that don't have switch to versions of some sort whether it's just a patch or a switch two edition they kind of unceremoniously i think either during this update or in the last couple days i saw pikmin 3 that was another one that i or was it for bander sn super chats and says both pikmin 3 and mario kart 8 get switch 2 updates the week before a direct there's a rumored direct next week pikmin 4 switch 2 edition in mario kart world dlc next week tim so there we go thank you so much for that and laker's head i know you're out here somewhere um yeah that that makes sense I'm not the biggest Pikmin guy, so thank you for catching me up here.
38:07Yeah, Pikmin 3 just getting an update, and then Pikmin 4 Switch 2 Edition is the one that I do think will actually get a Switch 2 edition that they're trying to get for. But, God, this looks great. Are you going to go back? I mean, I always go back. This is a never-to-lead on the Switch. Oh, no. Wait, is this... What? This is a deluxe. Damn, this is a fucking pretty game. I thought you were bringing up World for a second. That's crazy. That's awesome. I haven't caught up with you, Tim, in a long time where you had 8 Deluxe on your Switch forever and every flight would play and try to do something crazy with it.
38:41I didn't know if you had moved over and were still doing that with World or if you had given up on this or where you were at with any of this. Well, I ended up achieving everything because I had to catch up to Barrett in 8 Deluxe before. Took you a long time. Because we did the definitive review of Mario Kart 8 last year. Well, now you gotta open it up. But with World, it's like I'm waiting for DLC. I haven't picked up World in quite a while at this point. we'll get it at some point I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet but I'm not mad at that do you think it's next week? do you think the direct's real next week?
39:08I do think the direct's real I'm never going to bet on Mario Kart World DLC showing up it will show up when it's ready look at this this is random I would have never thought this would happen but final point I want to make on this though is what this tells me is Smash Bros. man what's happening because Smash has not gotten a Switch 2 update we're not getting 4K Smash yet and that's that's what are they up to what are they doing they're doing something and like the dream would be a switch to edition that adds another fighter pass and getting another set of characters but um i just i don't know i i i would just take them giving a patch but like it not getting one yet makes me happy because it that leaves the opportunity for more to be added to what will always be the ultimate super smash brothers game um but yeah this is freaking awesome because mario kart 8 deluxe will never not be as amazing as it is like no matter what mario kart comes out different things it does mario kart 8 deluxe is one of my favorite games ever and i'm so happy that technically it's growing up uh the one possibility i could see for finally getting world dlc it's if if this direct is happening next week i feel like we got to learn more about zelda it's the 40th anniversary if it's coming this fucking year we better yeah and i think you do an island a separate island uh off of like the main uh area of mario kart world not fully zelda but like with a couple of zelda themed tracks i think i could see that but i love again like tim saying it'll happen when it happens i could see them doing exactly what i just said but in like three years for sure absolutely celebrate zelda's 43rd anniversary exactly before we move on to story number four we have breaking news Tim Rockstar has responded oh my god you have too much power if you're joining us late we had fired our shot everybody shoot your shot as they say we send an email to Rockstar that said exclusive preview no question mark just exclusive preview the body read dear Rockstar I'm writing this live on kind of funny games daily Why don't you come to an exclusive hands-on preview stream with kind of funny Roger will make a social video semi colon.
41:24We can't promise it would go viral, but with your help, it could thank you for your consideration. Rockstar responds. We will take this into consideration semi colon. We can't promise it will happen, but never say never. Not a no, not a no. This is my high school dating career in a nutshell. Not a no. I like it. I think I, you know, I'm feeling pretty good about it. I think the Roger is what really sold. I do. I mean, they've seen the Roger videos before. That could be a real thing that could happen right there. We move on. They're working so hard right now, Greg. Are they? Who knows? I think that they are.
42:00Fair enough. Number four on the Roper report. Reasonable consumers know they don't own digital games, says Sony. This is Liam Croft over at Push Square. As a number of lawsuits try to take Sony to court over its decision to stop making PlayStation discs from January, 2028 the platform holder has responded to one and said quote reasonable consumers end quote understand they're only buying a license to play a game and that they don't actually own it this stems from a court appearance in california where four people took sony to court over claims the playstation store does not make it clear you're purchasing video game licenses instead of actually owning them yourself according to them using terms like buy now and confirm purchase implies ownership of a game rather than a license granting access to do it.
42:46In response, Sony said reasonable consumers would not be misled by the language. Quote, as plaintiff admits, section one of the SPLA likewise explains that the software, I'm sorry, the software is licensed to you, not sold, the firm continued. This makes sense in the digital age. It is not plausible to allege that reasonable consumers believed they were obtaining ownership of a digital game. Were that the case then plaintiff edward haycock would not have been able to obtain the game resident evil requiem on february 25 for 2026 i'm sorry 2026 for 69.99 from the playstation store after plaintiff jason mendoza had obtained resident evil requiem on february 14th 2026 because mr mendoza not sony would have owned it then you following this oh i'm following that bullshit yeah yeah uh only last Last week, Sony sent out an email to PlayStation players reminding them they purchased the licenses to play games.
43:41They don't own them. It reiterated the terms and conditions. Quote, The software is licensed to you, not sold. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and personal license to play or use the software for your private, non-commercial use on the system or device it was intended for. End quote. Similar warning can be found across other video game platforms But the timing of the email drew increased attention As Sony plans to stop producing PlayStation discs From February 2028 onwards Man, like, just the foot and the mouth Stepping on the rakes It's just, like, so bad I will say, thank God this happened in court Like, thank God that PlayStation Because I didn't read the story before going into the show I just saw the headline And I assumed that they just decided to say this.
44:28So we said this on a panel, I did on some Twitter, some panels or whatever. So it's like, Hey, at least this was them like actually having to defend themselves and you know, just working off the facts of how this works because they're not wrong with what they're saying with, yeah, you are buying a license and people, reasonable consumers that have bought things in the digital age, I think should know that that's all true, but like, damn, don't say that. And they had to, they had to because people are bringing them over court because people think it's bullshit. I mean, the fact that they're reiterating and they're changing and they're doing.
45:00And like now when I, when I go to Amazon to buy or rent a video, I get such a huge pop up now on my screen. I'm like, Hey, yeah, well, you're just renting it. You're, you don't actually, it's a license. We can redeem. Like, yeah, yeah, of course. Cause you're all getting fucking sued. You're all getting sued. Yeah. Oh my God. What, but this example that they give, what are they? This is stupid. I mean, yeah, it's to your point to dial in a little bit more, like clearly. yes in the tos and your eulas and yada yada yada they've all said at some point yeah like this is a license and we can revoke and blah blah blah it's just the fact that i think so many people don't and i'm not saying don't read that but like when you're making a mainstream device like a playstation when you're making a console right where we're talking about like hey this is meant to be the easiest way to get into games i really do think people don't stop and think about a digital license that way it's 2026 now and so amazon and this and there's a awakening happening to what you actually don't own shit, right?
45:57But it's like, did the mainstream gamer buying NBA and Madden or whatever, some kid doing it, you know what I mean? Yeah. It sucks, and now they're learning that it sucks. That's true, but it's not like this stuff is buried in the TOS. There's a lot of places on the stores where it's like they make this stuff fairly clear. It's not the most obvious thing. And at the end of the day, it's on you to read the shit that you're buying. Sure. That is what that whole deal is. That's why it exists. but yeah i understand it i think that it's the the defining what a reasonable customer is that's fucking hilarious like you know but it's also they're in court trying to make an argument why there's what their bullshit isn't or is fair but it's like yeah there's a lot of reasons why this sucks and like this shouldn't be the way you know but it is how things are and so i'm talking about these the resident evil thing with these plaintiff examples like that just seems like such a stretch of like what the argument even is yeah of them like oh if i if they bought it from them then they wouldn't it's like no that's not that's not even how real products work well yeah because their argument is that there's only one so if i'm reading this correctly in their example they're talking about there's only in so playstation saying the plaintiff is incorrect because if the plaintiff was correct there's only one version of resident evil on the playstation store which like what the fuck are you talking about playstation and i understand like again this is where you get into a legal thing where all these fucking jackals and bean counters and like the suits have to start stabbing in the normal person in the back to try to figure all the shit out but it's a terrible example i mean it's i understand it's their example but like nobody was thinking that no nobody goes the playstation store thinking they're buying the one cop the one license you have playstation that's unreasonable uh aaron lime says how the hell can you trade licenses if there's only one copy of the game on the playstation store their own argument falls apart easily exactly yeah it'll be fascinating to see what happens here dude like i do think it will be very interesting if I have more power to the plaintiffs, I say.
47:52Go get them in this reasonable consumer thing. Changes will happen. Why are we saying buy now? Why does it say buy now if you're not actually buying it? You're buying the license, sure, but like... But I mean, that's what it is. I know, but I mean, again, to a person, they think they're buying a product that they can have. But I feel like there is a thing of just like, well, that's... People need to update their understanding of what that means then, because that's not how it is. My thing is, do we need to update the terminology of it is all you're still buying it you're still buying a license sure buy license now you know what i mean like does the button change that i'm just saying what what are the ramifications from this because we've already seen it again in the past six months where suddenly all this fucking legal red tip so what is going to be the way they go through and go okay we're covering our asses and when they cover their asses are they then going to go back and settle with these guys are they just gonna they try to kill them in court and let it i mean i think it's gonna to end up being like anytime you turn on an activision game where you need to spend 10 minutes scrolling and they're not letting you click through you need to actually scroll through that shit like they cover their asses with all that stuff and it's like they were like yeah you didn't read it that's your fucking bad yeah did we purposely make it the longest shit to discourage you from reading it yep but it's there but big bold by now by now we'll see story number five steam db founders announced the community-run database has been acquired by nexus mods owners this is mark warnet rock paper shotgun the owners of nexus mods have acquired community-run back-end database steam db from its founders the two sides in the deal have announced the folks behind the former who've held its keys for 13 years said their decision to step back is rooted in burnout and a desire to find a more suitable team to keep steam db running meanwhile nexus mods owners a company called chosen have pointed to wanting to keep track of game updates from a modding perspective as one of the factors that's drawn them to make the deal quote what started as a hobby project became something i could never have imagined steam db co-founder xpaw wrote in a i love it that we're still using these names by the way yeah i know i'm xpaw it's insane wrote in a post announcing the news quote i always took pride in what kind of a helpful service i was able to create and sustain for all kinds of gamers and in later years, developers and publishers with his helpfulness came growth, but that doesn't come for free.
50:12I've always considered steam DB to be my hobby, but the amount of hours I have worked on it could be considered a full-time job. It was pure passion and the ever increasing self-inflicted workload has taken its toll. After COVID and the rise of AI, the internet we once loved is gone and with it, my passion. Holy shit. What a bar. Yeah. Oh my God. after COVID and with the rise of AI, the internet we once loved is gone. And with it, my passion. Damn. I've started experiencing burnout with the project, but I powered through. A few years ago, I tried to find someone to continue the project, but I couldn't find a team that I was confident in.
50:50So I decided to keep going by myself. Steam keeps growing in terms of games, players, and the number of new features being added. It's hard to keep on top of this alone. And the mental load has only kept increasing. and in good conscience, I cannot continue like this, end quote. So rather than leave their ship uncrewed to fade into obscurity or shutting it down, they've settled on Nexus Mods as a quote-unquote worthy partner to take on running SteamDB from here. Quote, if you're a user of the site, don't worry. It'll still be SteamDB keeping its own name, brand, community, and identity. Victor Fulman, CEO of Nexus Mods, owners chosen, wrote in a post on that site.
51:28Quote, we aren't just folding it into Nexus Mods. odds in fact in the short term there shouldn't be much you notice at all it'll still be the same site with all its features and data xpal will continue to work with us over the coming months as we as well to make a smooth transition end quote quote where things will start to change is behind the scenes with the site being effectively run as a one-man band for so long we can now start giving it properly funded team a properly funded team uh with better infrastructure security and scalability end quote man sad that this guy's so disillusioned i think that that's a uh key thing there but like this is cool i'm very interested in it just because like shout out to nexus mods love them great resource very very very well run yep i didn't realize they had it like that to be able to take on something like this you know so it's just and maybe they don't we'll see i want to believe that they do um but i'm just very impressed with how operations can exist that we have no understanding of like what goes into making them happen we just kind of use them as resources yeah steam dv is awesome we use it all the time um like i think about the website seribi with the s the the pokemon website which has been the pokemon database site forever it's run by one dude joe merrick who i've now met a bunch of times i saw him this weekend but like one man all every guide every update every news thing every single thing that's there it's one guy and you would never know that like it's just so impressive so i i don't know what's going on with nexus mods and steam db these are just things that we just use yeah let's talk yeah you know but like resources people make these things happen you know and these people end up getting sick of it after time not it but like just life and everything so seem to be could just go away but instead it's given another chance to live and this is very cool and interesting and i this is the usual where it's like yeah you know sometimes you like something as it is but then it moves over and i know especially in our neck of the woods here with video games whether it be video game press whether it be studios being consolidated yada yada you kind of bristle but like if the options are this thing closes or this guy's sanity escapes him because he's trying to chase it i'm glad it seems to be going to a team that he vetted and found right in terms of going So more power to them.
53:41Tim. Yeah. You finally getting the hint and giving me your shares of kind of funny and leaving would be huge news. But if I wanted something smaller, say the tiniest news this four Pete champion need to know about, where would I go? You go to our last story, the We News Channel, where we talk about all the smallest little things you need to talk about. Like Nick.
54:02We'll just, you're like, let's throw me a steak. Deviate me from you to Nick. I fucking hate that bearded idiot. number six the we news aggro crag the developers behind peak another crab's treasure and going under and crash our crew are excited to announce that they are publishing the precision platformer rebounder from developer 33 nail the run deliver your line rebounder is a handcrafted precision platformer about a rough net worker recruited for a hazardous job on a distant planet a tough but fair gauntlet set in a surreal comic book world of ink paper and print look at how fucking good this game looks.
54:37So cool. With this announcement, AgroCrab are ready to receive submissions from developers looking for publishing support. Quote, Peak success put us in a unique position. We weren't really interested in significantly growing the size of our team, but we were interested in growing our catalog, said Corey Warning, head of publishing at AgroCrab. Quote, We like to be hands-on with the projects we're working with. We can offer some unique perspectives and feedback to games from our background as indies, developers, and our experience self-publishing. We've also grown a massive community over the years who trust our approach to how we make and promote our own games.
55:11End quote. Everything about that's rad. What a great statement. And like, man, this trailer just kept getting cooler and cooler. Someone played this, I want to say. Like Blessing or Mike during like a... Like a GDC thing? GDC or Steam Next Fest or something, you know. I think, again, this goes back to, you know, we keep talking about the industry and how horrible it is and the layoffs and the top and the money and the shareholders and stuff. I love to see indies being like we will do this ourself we have hit we are aggro crab we have found enormous success with this game peak and now rather than blow it up become three teams we're going to keep doing our shit we're going to help other people obviously you turned inner sloth who then funded among us explodes during COVID becomes an IP now we're going to take that money and we're going to do outer sloth where we'll help publish games and get people out there you know what I mean great shit same thing kinetic games right where we hey, Phasmophobia is a huge success.
56:05Now we have Kinetic Publishing, and we will go publish video games. The fact that you just had three examples of that is so rad. And there's more. Exactly. But yeah, it's very, very cool to see. And they're literally putting money where their mouth is. So it's like, yeah. Meanwhile, Mike Biffle sitting on his gold like a dragon, not letting anybody. We got him. We got him. High five. Mike Biffle, we got him. Love you, Biffle. Also on the Wii News for you, I Am Beast DLC, Quitting Time launches October 20th alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version. Warrior Cats, Clans of the Forest launches October 23rd on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and PC.
56:45Ninja Gaiden 3, The Ancient Ship of Doom, Akari Warriors, and RC Pro-Am 2 are now available to play on Nintendo Online. The PC Gaming Showcase, Tokyo Directs is set for September 20th at 9 a.m. Pacific. Pacific. Playism Game Show TGS 2026 preview is set for September 10th at 3.30 a.m. Pacific. And then spooky cute puzzler Thangtopia launches on PlayStation 5 on October 26th. And that is it for Wii News. God, I love it. I love when that happens, Barrett. It's just so good. It's not very often. It's very upsetting. So it's either like I do it perfectly or I have to lean in to how awkward the end is.
57:26That was great. You're killing a bear. good job um lots of super chats to get through thank you so much for caring and appreciating us we love you i want to jump right there boom will gordon says are y 'all live reacting to stay to play tomorrow and then sketch underneath him says maybe sketch 16 will you be streaming live and giving predictions for the playstation stay to play tomorrow keep up the great content thank you as you probably know tomorrow there are two playstation states of play uh at 6 a.m pacific time we will be live reacting to them on a delay so we're all going to wake up not look at the internet come here and rather than games daily we will jump right into a live reaction to both state of plays back to back the chat will be off we will watch those then go into your games cast post show I don't think there's going to be a games daily tomorrow right I don't believe so I think that's high I that since they're going to be two state of plays we'll do all that massive hangout watch along session it'll be great we'll have a great time and have a lot of fun come be a part of it but yes it will be on a delay for us so normal games daily time rather than making everyone get up and come in here for something that would be amazing could be just cool could be shit i'm so interested yeah like i just do back to back yeah and it's just like we're i i can't believe that we are so close to wolverine and then god of war is so close yeah yeah february like i i that that fact to me doesn't make sense that we're that close to sony santa monica's next game yeah and then where's intergalactic i don't know intergalactic plan and not this year.
58:54No. Yeah. Okay. Josh super chats. It says, good morning, KF crew and best friends. Always looking forward to listening to help me get through the work day. Thank you for all you do. We're happy to be here. Thank you. Don't worry about that. Captain Slayer 117 says Greg Miller called me a fake fan on Reddit for being in a car crash yesterday. I'm here to pay money to prove him wrong. At least I get to watch live while recovering. Bullying works. I hope you're okay. Did you see this? No, I didn't see it. Let me dig it out for you. Okay. Bullying works. He says, listen, listen, okay. Listen, where, ah, there's so many things where you have such a popular subreddit.
59:30You know what I mean? I guess it must've been this one. Was this the one about Nick? Like, you know what I mean? No, maybe not. Was it this one about Pokemon? Couldn't be that one. Right. Maybe somebody took it down. I hate it when somebody gets bullied into taking down the post. You know what I mean? Here it is. Here it is. Here it is. So it was a, somebody put it up and it was four championships is cool. but and then it was a couple memes one of them being Ric Flair still has 12 more championships than Greg Miller woo to which I assume if I'm following this narrative correctly Captain Slayer responds thanks for the spoiler you boo-boo poopy and then the person says they talked about Greg winning on kind of funny games alien games cast yesterday and then Captain Slayer responds haven't listened was busy being in a car crash a lull and then it's this photo of him behind the wheel with the airbag deployed.
1:00:17Jeez, that's terrifying. And then I say what everybody else would say in my position. I can see the fucking radio right there. What were you listening to while the ambulance was coming? Fake fan. Make the time in the hospital or else. And then Captain Slayer says, shit, you're right. I'm sorry. And here they are giving us money. So this is how it works. It's kind of funny, everybody. You understand? I'm sorry to the people I should be sorry to, and I'm thankful to the people I should be thankful to. Sometimes those are the same people. But man, I said it before and I'll say it again I disagree with the man but he's often right I get results all right Captain Slayer right here giving us 10 bucks if Tim's like oh dog I'm sorry you know what I mean uh I'm gonna go this one Puneet Sharma 3320 says birthday tax celebrating my 30th birthday today just started a new job last week thank you guys for the laughs sincerely a day one team orange fan happy birthday birthday.
1:01:14It's the, it's the era of Greg. You know what I mean? Yep. I've put people up too long. Oh my God. What a time to be alive and be me. We're having a reverse outer slot situation. You know what I mean? Become so successful, but I'm still just sucking everybody else dry. Dose of not nostalgia says with Mario cart, adding the eight player update, be cool to see you guys doing eight player party mode. It would be right now. It's incredibly fucking chaotic right now and i would love that mike's been unable to get big walk together because no one's in the office this is happening top 100 reviews but yes we hear you and love to make that uh go uh unicron uh 94 says writing to say how much i appreciated the pokemon show obviously i love the craziness and jokes but seeing greg tear up thinking about ben telling him i love you is why i'm a fan video games matter thank you guys fantastic kind of funny podcast yesterday about our Pokemon world's journey.
1:02:08Yes. Foxy Steve says Foxy Steve from the press pool. Do you have any comments on the conclusion of this season? It felt like your season to win Tim. What happened there? I love game showdown, man. I love game showdown because it's each and every week. It's fun. You never know what's going to happen from the game show perspective. And then there's the narrative. You know what I mean? There's the storyline. There's all the adventures, the twists and the turns. It's good stuff. I can't believe I lost. Like I I can't either. But then also, it's Mario Party rules. Of course I lost. There's a lot of skill involved.
1:02:36Oh, yeah. So much skill in that Mario Party rules. But nine, Tim. He got nine. It is crazy. I played a bad game. Honestly, that episode I did. We only have one person to blame. And it's Andy Cortez. Oh, yeah. Among us. Among us. Fucking idiot. I almost kicked him out of the house. Aaron Lime says, since two Metal Gear boys are on the show today, I want to ask you. do you think we'll see a new metal gear original or remake announcement tomorrow at the state of play or Konami showcase? I don't, I think it's a little too early. If anything. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe a tease of them remaking one. The question I have is what is virtuous.
1:03:19Is that the team that made Delta? Yeah. Snake eater. What are they up to? Who knows? Cause we're now a year removed from three remake existing and being out and being really damn good. Yeah. I can't believe that. I remember being at the original spare bedroom when the pachinko machine dropped and we saw all those things. And then from then on, there was rumors of like, well, we didn't just make that for a pachinko machine. We're going to get a remake. And it was like, it hit a point where it's like, no, we're not. And then we just did. And it did. Okay. Didn't do great. Yeah. But. Konami's fine.
1:03:54Okay. I hope. I hope so too. Yeah. I, oh man, I booted up a MGS four. Yeah. Fuck. It's a game. just to feel alive just to feel just seeing it in that resolution i'm like dang dude this is a video game yeah that opening bit it's so good yeah sneaking around in war remember how cool that was i do it crazy yeah yeah hold on i still haven't started a peace walker i need to find that gap yeah so you can get to it but man uh bam says it's kind of funny all elite now for next level hashtag tim won well tim lost hashtag but i am so so hyped for them man i bought the shirt Oh, that's awesome. I put it up.
1:04:31It's the first AEW shirt I've ever bought. Go get them, Austin and Kofi. And then fucking Fuego Del Sol's like, you liar. You bought my shirt. I was like, oh, fuck. I forgot about that. That's awesome. That's awesome. But dude, seeing them debut, obviously we expected it. We were hopeful for it. But they pulled it off in a way I never would have seen. Like they got the song, dude. Yeah, they got the song. And I thought it was just going to be just for Wembley. But it sounds like it's going to be their team going forward. Yeah, that is incredible. the titles match one and then coming out to do it, go up against edge and Christian come on.
1:05:00Come on. And then that I want to watch tonight. It shows so much confidence in them from Tony Khan of like, yeah, we're going to license the song that that is not cheap. That requires pulling favors and a shit ton of cash. I can't wait to see them in a place that actually cares about tag team wrestling. Like very, very so for them. Also, I obviously you guys know, I do not keep up with a, I guess I keep up with a W very, very, very lightly. You know, I do not watch it. I do Do not watch it. I have, I watched, was it double or nothing? And then I watched a bunch of all in still need to go back and I want to watch a lot more of it, but the freaking Kenny Omega and will Ospreay match.
1:05:39Did you see the entrances? Yeah. Holy celebration. I mean, yeah, man. Yeah. Barrett, did you watch what I said? Yeah. Yeah. I watched it and that was actually like all my voice actor. Was he doing that live? Was he there? It wasn't live that was pre-recorded but do you see the end of it where kenny omega did the like oh yeah where he does the point now it's your turn dude so so like really great but is kenny omega looking at like the end part of his career is my my big question i mean that that's what that's what the story says okay because that's that's the big moment for all might in that moment and like that's what he's referencing is like he just did his big final battle he's not dead he's still around, but now it's your turn.
1:06:22Yeah. And I mean, that is the story they told perfectly. So dude, shout out. I love it. I think that WB is utter shit right now. And I love that there is another group out there that is showing the fuck up with the opportunity. Like it's incredibly cool. Yeah. I'm going to definitely be tuning in tonight. Cause I can watch an HBO, right? Like I watched the H O max. Oh my Lord. See, that's where we start getting tomorrow. I'm just like, okay, I have HBO, but it's an, it's a literal pay-per-view. What are we talking about? No, I know. It's just like, I, I don't know about it. So I'm upset. Fair enough.
1:06:53For the people that know, they're like, well, this is obvious. This is easy. But I'm like, I don't know. So it's always confusing. Well, too many brands, too many shows. I want you. Hold on. It's like going to kind of funny for the first time. You go to the channel. They're just like, why are there? My videos only like, what are you talking about? What are you? Who are you people? As you know, I'm very excited that my friends, my close personal friends, Austin and Kofi are there, but sadly, they're not alone. And so I just got to make something very clear. Okay. This is Jeff Jarrett. Who's this?
1:07:26This is Greg Miller from Kind of Funny, Jeff, from Jeff Jarrett, the last outlaw from AEW. Wait, Greg who? Greg Miller. And you're going to know me because now AEW's got real talent. All right, because they got Austin. Oh, oh, oh, oh, the jabotee. Are you still in the video game business? Yeah, are you? What are you doing with Acclaim? What are you doing? Oh, here we go again. A same old slap ass, same old stick. You will never, ever learn the proper lesson. You idiot. You're a freaking moron. Listen, I had a one-on-one with my man, the next level, the new level, the only level that you know nothing about.
1:08:08And we got right down to brass tacks and he agrees just like he agrees with me. No, Kofi and Austin wouldn't do that. They wouldn't say that about me. They wouldn't say, I'm going to watch tonight and I want you to know I'm not watching. When you come on, I'm turning around. I'm not watching when you're on. Let me tell you something, Miller. The whole world knows that now you're going to be exposed even more that you're nothing more than a hanger-on-er, a wannabe. You keep grasping. You're a leech to the industry. You are a leech to not only the wrestling industry, but certainly the video game industry.
1:08:43My folks in Acclaim, they almost barred me from even having a conversation with you. I thought I had your number blocked. I knew I got you blocked on social media. What are you doing calling me? This didn't go the way I wanted. All right. I'm not watching for you. That's never mind. Move on. There's more Super Chats. I really miss him. No, no. That was awesome. No, no. What a great, great. Jarrett and Barrett. The Eretts. We looked out for each other. Oh, man. Those were the days. Beautiful.
