have a playstation or i have a switch but i'm here to buy either 2k or cod or maybe there's a hogwarts legacy that comes out in here or maybe i hear the buzz around clear obscure and i buy that as my one game right maybe i hear the buzz around came to come deliverance 2 and i like medieval stuff and so oh man i'm gonna make that my one purchase a year and i should to know right that's very normal behavior if i not to say that if i didn't have this job i wouldn't you know be super into the gaming ecosystem because i would but if i had like other hobbies that were my priority like i could easily see myself being like yeah i'm gonna play one or two video games like beat one or two video games in a year because i have all these other things that i'm doing that i'm balancing or whatever right like if you're listening to this if you're watching this if you're on the show right like video games are so our passion and we drive so much of that paid section of users and so that is to your point andy of like for those who are in the business of making video games you kind of should take that into consideration as far as what like the way that you're creating the video games how you're making these financial decisions around monetization and like the genres and like you know if you're putting a video game out as a boxed title or as a premium title like what is the game plan because you have to understand who the people that are playing these games are and more it worries me more and more every day just the the amount of good quality stuff that's coming out and just thinking that 14 of people buy multiple games that's not enough players to buy and support all of these amazing titles yeah like we don't we don't have enough gamers to play all these games yeah and it sounds like a such a weird thing to say but i i think more and more about you know hoping that these that a lot of these smaller devs are making games that aren't completely killing their budgets and everything making small these smaller experiences like peak with aggro crab yep and just any other smaller title to hopefully sustain them to sell a ten dollar title that will sustain them for the next video game that they make that doesn't require 50 or 70 hours of your time because there's just not enough time and not enough gamers to go around for the amount of quality out there think about even for us who we do this as our job we get access to free games all the time via codes right for uh review and still don't have the bandwidth to play everything we want yeah i'm still just like well i'm still i'm playing hades 2 right now you know i mean like i have to pick and choose my battles and so what that means is that i look at games like digimon or uh little nightmares 3 that just had reviews go up right and i'm and i'm like in an ideal world i'd like to check out these games because they seem neat they seem cool they seem like they'd be up my alley but dog i got i got all these other things i also want to play and got to play at the same time um so yeah there's not really that much love to go around which saddens me but also like it's it is an embarrassment of riches it truly is it Notifying users about the update in August, Tico Park wrote, quote, I'm thinking of updating Classic Edition for the first time in nine years.
