In short

Rumors and news roundup from Kind of Funny Games Daily (Sept 16, 2025), focusing on a possible PlayStation State of Play next week, Dispatch’s release details, and Sega’s Sonic racing ad nostalgia.

Guests

Andy Cortez (co-host; discusses beating Hollow Knight, planning to reach Act 1 in Hollow Knight by Friday, and attending a Linkin Park concert; also talks about buying Marvel vs. Capcom action figures). Host Tim Geddes (no guest, but leads the segment).

Key claims

  1. PlayStation may hold a State of Play next week; sources say it could include Marvel’s Wolverine, with Insomniac gameplay/answers (combat mechanics, voice actor, world design).
  2. Dispatch (ex-Telltale devs) releases Oct 22 on PC/PS5 with episodic rollout: 4 weeks, 2 episodes per week; $30 full season or $40 deluxe (art book + 4 digital comics).
  3. Sega’s Sonic Racing Cross Worlds ad revives the early-90s “blast processing” Genesis TV ad style, including the “fart sound” homage.

Notable examples

  • Wolverine speculation: dive/claw chest attacks, berserker barrage, environment interactions, open vs linear zones.
  • Dispatch release cadence compared to past episodic successes/failures.
  • Mario Kart World blurred in Sega’s ad; “Welcome to the Next Level” ending.

2:05What's up and welcome to kind of funny games daily for Tuesday, September 16th, 2025. Of course, I'm your host, Tim Geddes. I am joined today by Andy Cortez. Hello, Tim. How are you, Andy? Oh, you know, man. Yeah. You know, just gaming. Just gaming. Gaming. I beat Hollow Knight last night. It's hard. Beat Hulk song last night. I mean, but, you know. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't beat it. You rolled credits. You know what I mean? You did the thing. You know, I'm still a fan of saying beat the game. I'll say roll credits. I have nothing against saying roll credits. I get it. But, like, I don't want to take away beat the game.

2:41Not that anybody's saying we have to. You know what I mean? It's not like it's one of those, like, we're getting woke things. Like, we're not saying beat anymore. It's one or the other, Tim. You got to choose a side. I feel like we got to show some respect to beat the game. Yeah. You know? That's where we came from. Beat the game last night. Well, congratulations. That's fantastic. It felt good saying it right there. Yeah. Beat the game last night. Good. And then immediately, you know, just kept on exploring. Yeah. Kept on doing things. Yeah. I now think I know what I got to do to enter what is, I guess, Act 3.

3:13I don't know if you ever see the words Act 3 on the screen. So wait, you beat the game and it's not even Act 3? I don't know. So when the back two is beating the game, that makes me feel great as someone that hasn't even beat act one. The thing is, I don't know if the end game is considered act three or not. I don't know if people were just calling it that. Gotcha. Because you beat the game and you could continue if you want. Or you could just leave it there. I'm going to say something controversial. Oh, God. You're not going to like this. Oh, God. You might be okay with it. Okay. But, like, I'm going to be real.

3:43I respect most people. Okay. Yeah, yeah. And when it comes to not wanting to ruin people's experience, I'm all about that. I would never actively want to spoil someone's experience and hurt their experience with a video game or movie or TV show or anything. And I get that. And I understand with the point of our lives, which is talking about the things that we're doing and enjoying and all of that. It's like difficult to like not spoil anything. Like by being in this space, you will spoil experiences or you'll have a different experience with things than you would have if you're just going in without hearing anyone talk about anything ever.

4:15That's just the nature of life. But the level to which Hollow Knight spoilers, like the names of a thing people take so seriously. I'm just like, you're sick. Oh, man. Like, there is something just wrong with the level that the amount of people are taking that seriously. I understand that there are a large group of people that have been waiting. Want this moment to be special. Want every single thing to not be spoiled. I totally get that. And they should be able to listen to video game news shows and all that stuff and not be spoiled whatsoever. Blah, blah, blah. I totally get it. And again, I hope I'm clear.

4:51I respect the different choices. I just think it's silly to be so upset about unless it's a name that, you know, from the past, a returning character or something. If it's just like fucking Hornswoggle McBoosh is here. It's like Marmaduke. Marmaduke. Marmaduke. So, yeah. Yeah. Be last night. super pumped to keep on playing it um because there's obviously a buttload that i've missed um yeah there's a buttload that i still haven't faced marmaduke especially with the trailers that they put out and they're like over 40 bosses or whatever i don't know how many of those are official are those named i don't know but i know that i'm maybe a third of the way there maybe halfway there yeah probably not even close to that my goal because we're doing our review friday correct correct my goal is to beat act one by friday okay i think i can do that's a really that's a that's a very viable goal yeah that's super possible i didn't get to play at all last night because i was a lincoln park concert what and it was amazing my first time ever seeing them whoa definitely one of my longest term fandoms when it comes to music so you had a big day yesterday it was a big day it was a big day baby announcement very very cool i got to go uh with my best friend curran and his wife shari and gia we had a blast um hearing 20 years of hits back to back is like kind of a lot i am way too old for this i would jump around the entire time i had to do it and how the calves feel uh oh they're bad yeah it's real i'm jello dude it's real bad uh but it was worth it if you can go see this tour you definitely should it was freaking awesome something i really appreciate about it is the stage is in the center of the arena okay and And the video wall stuff, the video wall.

6:30Yeah, exactly. The video wall stuff was up on the top. So they're just there. There's no bad seats is what I'm saying. That's like nothing was blocked. They were moving around the stage. It was just very, very cool. So even if you just want to get cheapo seats in the back, like it's going to be great. But there's a meme with Linkin Park. There's many memes with Linkin Park. But one of them is obviously the TikTok meme of the, you know, the thing thinks it's dead. And then the credits hit and its eye opens up. right it's the one I've done music playing well the other one obviously is Optimus Prime at the end of Transformers 1 that's when that's where it came from right the directed by Michael Bay so a lot of people at the concerts have been queuing it up so that they play the end of Transformers 1 with the music so of course I had to spend a ridiculous amount of time making sure that it was perfect and that it was perfectly timed so that when what I've done the chorus hits directed by Michael Bay hits so I would like to share this all with you wow

7:38totally fucked up i did not time it right at all god damn it the dudes behind me fucking stoked when i pulled my phone up they're like yes yes and then when it didn't happen they're just like no so anyways you know we all we ought to be honest out here we got to share our faults as well as our wins i did have a win though yeah every once in a while we have to treat ourselves we see something online and we're like i want to buy that and then you're like oh man the price i don't want to pay that but then you're like you know what i got it so i did whoa bringing a gift on i got the gamer verse marvel legends action figures these are the marvel versus capcom captain america versus venom they come with all the little accoutrements to make it to make them do and pose into their moves from marvel versus capcom venom's blue like all things should be everything is right in the world they're definitely pairing these things in ways i mean i'm happy with both of these characters like this is cool but like the spider-man they're selling him alone and he's like 120 dollars for fucking like these aren't come on you know what i mean but it's the novelty of the mvc sort of franchise but like i mean even on the sides you get the little character select screens going on like really damn come on uh i i know max million dude's been posting a lot of those and that's kind of what turned me on to them but yeah they look really damn cool super video game accurate yeah really nice very very cool stuff but enough about all of that because this is kind of funny games daily each and every weekday we run you through the video game news you need to know about live on youtube twitch and podcast services around the globe if you love what we do please support us with the kind of funny membership on patreon youtube and now spotify and apple podcast to get all of our shows ad free and a daily exclusive show for a chance to be part of this show submit your thoughts and opinions as youtube super chats as we go this friday after the games cast tell everyone that you know the game showdown returns we got greg the returning champ uh repping team blue which How do I get this back?

9:44Like, how is this continuing? Why does he still get to be team blue? I don't know if it's ever recoverable for you, Tim. I fucking hate this. But I'm excited to watch. I'm excited to watch. Yeah. Tim repping team orange. G saw a clip yesterday of someone doing this housekeeping. She's like, you're team orange? She was mad. And I'm like, I fucking love you. Team purple returns with a mystery captain taking the helm, who I still don't know who it is. I'm still kind of hoping it's Andy because I don't want you to leave. I'm really mad you're leaving. I'm sorry. I know you leaving is still good. It's probably going to involve you somehow.

10:17Honestly, you might still be Team Purple because I really don't know who it is. I thought on that image it looked like Logan Marshall Green. It might be. It might be. It might be. I don't know who that is. The guy who looks like Tom Hardy. Oh, okay. Yeah. You know what I mean? The shaved head. Couldn't it be Tom Hardy then? Oh, fuck. Yeah. 12:07it's time for some news we have seven stories today

12:18story number one playstation has a state of play scheduled for next week it's claimed this comes from sam sam sepial at insider gaming another source has stated that playstation has a state to play planned next week earlier this month insider gaming exclusively reported that playstation has a stay-to-play event scheduled for the end of september where marvel's wolverine is almost certainly going to be a part of the event now another source has corroborated the stay-to-play news adding that it's arriving as soon as next week there have been a few well i mean no shit we're running out of time to september as soon as next week as late as the week after uh there have been a few stay-to-play events in recent times but they focused on one game such as 007 first light and ghost of Tsushima gameplay deep dive Yote.

13:01The last proper state of play showcase was back on June 4th. And since then, players have been patiently waiting for a new one. Fortunately for them, a very reliable source, Nate, the hate has also claimed that Sony has a presentation soon. I think that it's scheduled for next week in a follow-up reply on Twitter. Hell yeah. I mean, this, this could be awesome, Tim. This could be awesome. Like we know insomniac. It's just that I don't know if they're capable of, putting out a stinker amen like it's just it's constantly going to be what you expect and more and i'm finally pumped to you know after seeing those really really kind of super early development leaks from way back in the day and it's just going to be really awesome to see okay what does a final product look like in this marvel world with wolverine what's the action going to be like Like, what's the, who's the voice actor?

13:57What, you know, there's so many questions. There's so many unanswered questions that I'm like really, really stoked. If this actually is confirmed to be the one, it's going to be a really exciting week. I've said this so many times and I'll continue to. There are certain games that have to show up somewhere, right? And now that Silk Song is out, Wolverine is one of those big ones where that game, in my opinion, not getting canceled. This is not a Wonder Woman situation. This is not a Black Panther situation. Like, this game is going to happen. And that excites me to no end. Obviously, huge fan of Insomniac.

14:27They make video games. They make the games that make me feel like I'm a little kid playing video games. And I can't wait to play more. We were so blessed to have that run from, I don't even know, 2019 to 2022 or something like that. With the Ratchet remake? Well, I mean, that was 2016. But like Rift Apart, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man or Miles Morales, Spider-Man 2. Like we just got so much insomniac and all things considered, it hasn't been that long. You know, like when we look at how long it is between naughty dog releases or otherwise, like we're still barely close to Spider-Man two, but I mentioned, and they announced that a long time ago.

15:10So hearing more would be great. We're definitely in a moment right now that feels like, I don't know if we've ever been this spoiled by a quantity of quality games at one time. right? Like it's just all of us are kind of funny are itching to go home to play something. It's very cool, very special, and such a range of titles from every space, whether it's AAA, indie, different genres, just amazing stuff playing on every system possible. Like it's very cool. And despite all of that, it's like if Wolverine were to come out, I think most of us would be like, we're playing that. We're dropping everything to play that right now, right?

15:47Like that's just the hold that insomniac has um and they deserve it so i'm very excited for whatever it is they are or whatever wolverine ends up being i hope that we see it next week or the week after um and yeah the timing seems right like if it's i mean you you make it you made the right point early on i was like it has to be somewhere it has to be somewhere and and wolverine is one of those that has taken this long to kind of get shown again ever ever since the first just at the bar with the claws or whatever and that being the end of that it's i feel like the last several state of plays have been is just the one where we finally see it and it's pretty exciting that this could be possibly be the one yeah totally and like you know the the marketer in me looks at this and goes we don't need it now like the this year is kind of filled out we have so many games ahead we still have ghost of yote coming out for playstation so it's like i don't expect that any major titles coming out this year so i kind of lean towards why not just wait for game awards you know like wolverine and game awards fits so perfectly like that is the audience for that type of game and yeah like i think that we're at a point now that we've waited this long i think it'd be pretty rad if the um next time we see wolverine to release cycle is condensed i think that would be probably beneficial to the game right um but at the same time it's wolverine they can do no wrong.

17:11It's Marvel. It's not just Marvel. It's like, it's Marvel with the right team making games that have proven themselves. And besides Spider-Man, who's the biggest character? It's Wolver fucking Ream. I didn't say that right, but you get it. And like the gameplay of Wolverine, you can see it in your head. You want to play that game. But at the same time, I don't know what it looks like. Like, what does an insomniac Wolverine look like? Diving at dudes. There's going to be a move where you dive at somebody and the, you know, the claws go into the chest of somebody. and you're going to have your berserker barrage.

17:42You're going to have... I wonder if there's going to be a lot of... You know, similar to what we have in Spider-Man, even similar to what we have in Sifu, of, like, picking shit up, throwing it at people, like, how interactive the environments will look. I mean, shit. Wall running, wall climbing with the claws. That's the thing is, like, you're nailing it. But you think about the... So you're talking more about combat and kind of just, like, mechanics. You think of design aesthetic. What about design? What about the world? Is it open? Coming after Spider-Man, you'd expect that Insomniac would have some level of open, or is it going to be a much more linear experience, which I don't think is a bad thing necessarily, but would be very different for them.

18:24I mean, Ratchet was fairly linear, all things considered. There was a couple opener planets, right? But I'd be surprised if the Marvel Insomniac games don't all share some level of collect-a-thon. you know what i mean sure i i can't really see an open world i i don't yeah it seems like it would be maybe possibly open zone that you are like fast not necessarily fast traveling too but maybe even selecting zones from is it only in canada what i don't know like dude like i love we were just talking about this but i love that oftentimes going into a game's re-reveal or like next kind of follow-up thing after such a long wait the questions we're asking are like all right what's the release date you know what's what's this what's that there's so many questions here because of the the marvel factor of where does it take place what else is in this world are there x-men are we going to the mansion oh you know what i mean like what other characters are there or not is this just is it more of a logan story and if so who are the villains like there's just so many hype moments that they could show off that it's not like oh release date or bust like there's so many things even just seeing the gameplay will be oh yeah exciting right so i don't even think that this needs to be released date or bust i'm not all like i i think we will be excited enough by the unknowables because everything has been so dark ever since that sort of here's this very pre pre pre alpha footage of just melee beat them up type stuff i mean but since we're here what should the release date be because we have to talk about it grand theft auto 6 right like we know that that is may 26th the megaton in the room will it get pushed maybe maybe but game devs i think at this point the big ones the ones that actually need to worry about the money that gta might take from them they need to start thinking about like can we get the game out before and if so let's do it right right and with what i was just saying about playstation we have ghost of yote this year i don't expect many major playstation games coming out we're in my mind i imagine we'll get a playstation studios game before may 26 2026 could it be wolverine so was it really 2021 the first time that we it was 2021 that's a long ass time ago long time man and by that point you're assuming maybe a couple of months of pre-pro on it not or not naughty dog sorry insomniac site uh sort of cycle seems to be four to five to six years sometimes um damn i'm shooting my shot february it's gonna take the april god of war slot that's worked for god of war okay i think it can work for marvel's wolverine i mean you yeah i mean you are getting in right before the deadline right but i mean yeah that's the literal deadline yeah exactly there's no going past yeah so i feel like that could be cool and i think that that kind of checks all the boxes of needs and gives them the time because like there is another world where yeah it's an october game or something and i think that at that point the gta situation will be different right like i don't think it's going to be as big of a concern like people will still be playing and that there will still be money spent on it there's definitely enough more video games have to come out yeah but there's also definitely enough juice that i don't think that you're worried i i think you might be worried if you are maybe any other ip releasing two to three weeks before GTA just because money is tight all across the nation in the world and people you know the amount of all right I have money for this or that and that's it yeah what should I get or whatever I think that something like Wolverine has the juice enough IP wise studio wise for the from the the team that brought you Spider-Man 1 and like that carries a lot of wait with it now i'm also excited about what else is in this state of play sorrows fuck like that's another one like we gotta see it again and i because i do was that dated year wise at least i think we got a 2026 on that didn't we way did we i'm not sure i don't know chat let me know i don't believe so i also don't know how to spell soros how do you start oh i added a you you're thinking of the the destiny gun called the soros prime right that is a big destiny head yeah exactly yeah 2026 was the the given date oh they did okay then dude where's that going i mean i that could be a february game right time to me just doesn't make sense anymore because then i look at return i'm like oh returnals 2021 as well shit like wasn't it early wasn't it february yes that was an early 2021 game february 15th yeah that can make sense like i know things don't have to follow the patterns that they had before exactly but i think that with all the information we have those are kind of safe assumptions right i know we haven't seen anything from soros but i also don't think that's the type of game that they need to show three different trailers for at a bunch of different events it can't kind of the next one kind of be the net big because like yeah i believe a state of play is coming next week sure why not right like just timing sounds good they do like to do uh state of plays in september there's enough rumors around this circulating um that there could have been two state of plays this month and we got the james bond one so this does make sense and yeah just kind of filling out the calendar for playstation It's like, yeah, they have some announcements to make both third party and first party.

24:23So it'd be cool. February Sorrows. Now we're just jumping in crazy predictions. I love it, dude. February Sorrows and Wolverine April. I don't think they give the April date in this state of play, but they do a Game Awards. Gosh, I want to just see Sorrows gameplay. I want to see my father, Mr. Cooley, just out there doing his thing. Oh, man. It's so cool. He's the coolest motherfucker. It's the coolest shit. On the planet. I still can't believe this is like a thing. This is still unbelievable. It's still so wild. Greasy Grover, super chat saying, I think sorrows before may, as it's the smaller IP that benefits from an early calendar release.

25:01Wolverine would be a good holiday game after GTA summer. That totally could work too. Yeah. But for some reason, I feel it in my balls, both before GTA. And we're also, I think we're running out of time for. a a date announcement or a year announcement this year for phantom blade zero because the devs have always been mentioning we will announce a year this year yeah yeah like we're not going to give you a release date this year we will announce a release year window or whatever at by the end of 2025 yeah and they are tied with playstation you know a lot of publishing deals happening there so that could be another announcement there yeah i like state of place i like announcements i know it's so exciting we're in such a good time um let's see let's do one more story before we hit the ads here story number two dispatch the superhero comedy from x telltale devs confirms pc and ps5 release date and episodic release this comes from ryan mccaffrey at ign dispatch the upcoming workplace superhero comedy adventure game with a strategy layer from a group of ex-Teltale developers is coming to PC and PS5 on October 22nd.

26:20An embarrassment of riches, everybody, with video games right now. It'll be released episodically over the course of four weeks with two episodes dropping each week starting on October 22nd. Very interesting. Can't wait to talk to you about that. It's priced at$30 for the full season or$40 for the deluxe version of the full season that includes a digital art book and four digital comics. We think the release format is an underrated part of the player experience, ad hoc co-founder and dispatch creative director nick herman said episodic's a format that makes the story easy to slip into easy to keep up with and easy to share with friends we want the launch of dispatch to be appointment gaming but with the weekly cadence of a tv show as opposed to as opposed to asking people to wait months between each release andy okay what do you think there's some interesting things here but there's a lot of trepidation yeah yeah um So the two episodes dropping each week.

27:16That. If all of that can stick to the plan, because with a lot of these episodic releases, they don't stick to the schedule. And that's not necessarily their fault. I mean, I think a lot of, there's a lot of outside factors that go into that and just game development being game development. But this could be, and this is like a big, if this could be, the like the best form we've seen of episodic releases ever because there's it never goes to plan or it could just be another one in the long line of man you really kind of fumbled the bag right here like we we had some momentum and then people lost interest in it i don't think there is any good example of episodic releases working in the past since walking dead right and that was a very different time with a game that was incredible compared to a lot of the following of things that tried the episodic structure um there have been examples of like wins right and i think that what we qualify as episodic i think i see half-life 2 episodes in the chat oh no that's different right but i think that where we're at in this year 2025 releasing a game episodically is like you're killing your game you're killing the chance of success here but to your point andy one month is a tight enough turnaround with enough releases to a week i think my gut would tell me why do that just do like make it one longer one a week but i think it's smart to like allow people to have that like let's take a break let's play one episode today one in a couple days like it allows it to be fresh and keep it on their mind for that entire month and also maybe not that and that's also kind of a great strategy because what if that one episode if they were planning on doing one that was my initial thought why not just do one one a week but if that thing is eight to nine hours long exactly then you're like oh shit i kind of lost i lost momentum with my own gameplay as well yeah so i think that there is a lot of asterisks there's a lot of ifs here but i'm happy they're trying something different i am scared when we before the show started i read this and i was like oh no but i didn't read the details and the cadence they have here if they can hit it i think there's potential it could work there's again so many ifs the game has to be amazing if the game is amazing and it seems like it is so far the previews were great and like the cast is amazing the looks amazing the hook is there like if they get people like us like can you imagine if kind of funny plays this game and like does a gamescast conversation about it with the audience it could be a really awesome kind of you know i was gonna say organic groundswell of enthusiasm but you know it's not nothing too organic about like planning out stuff like this right but i i again this is i think there are enough examples of failures in the past that unless you know for a fact that you can pull it off that you don't even attempt this anymore yeah and for sure i hope that there's been more than enough market research into this going here's all the reasons why we shouldn't do this and all the reasons why they failed yep and why maybe all the prep and planning and development that we put into this can work and will work yeah and so here's my thing this release strategy makes this a much easier sell for me and g to play it together every week that's awesome you know yeah i feel like there's gonna be that's i would not sell the game based on that and based on the the people like me in that situation out there but i do think this is the type of game that uh can be a more communal experience right so put it in the trailer tim and gia will play every week exactly exactly but again that's if it's good and if it actually hits those times and if they're like it needs to get everything right like if this game is just done done already they are gold and they are just deciding to distribute it this way that's awesome if we know that every thursday at 9 a.m pacific a new dispatch is coming out or whatever it is i'm interested i don't have the most faith but i am interested and i'm hopeful let's see right and looking at the the calendar kind of around that time moonlighters the next day moonlighter 2 was the the following day uh the day before we have drastic world evolution three you're gonna have to you're gonna have to fight tooth and nail to get me out of the park i'm gonna be building my park really are you you think you're spending so pumped up yeah oh yeah yeah i love dinosaurs i've seen anytime i've hopped into any sort of like zoo tycoon game i'm like man these games are so my shit why don't i play these more yeah i'm so i'm really pumped for drastic world evolution but that's the thing if you're if there are those games and like they are just asking for two hours of your time right for sitting like i don't know whatever we'll see Skydon 4 the 20th, Tim.

32:10How? Like, Pokemon Legends Z, A. Oh, my God. We need to chill, everybody. You know what's really wild? That Keeper is the 17th. Is it October 17th? Yeah. And I feel like we're not talking about it enough. I feel like it's not getting as much buzz as it should be. You know what I mean? I've heard whispers of Keeper enough that I'm like, I didn't know it was coming next month. But that's just because I don't want to believe it. But I just feel like, man, Tim Schafer, like, you know what I mean? Like it's double fine. It's the next big one after. Is it though? I don't know. I don't think it is. It's not like a Tim Schafer led joint.

32:49Well, I mean, I'm not saying that, but I feel like it's like, I don't think this is the next big double fine game. But like they just, it's not like they put games out every year or so, you know? Yeah. Yeah. I think just with all of the enthusiasm that that documentary had and you know all all the buzz that that had following the success of of psychonauts 2 and how much critical love that that was given i just feel like we'd be tim's not leading it tim's not leading it okay okay okay which confused me multiple people in the chat said tim's not leading it and i was like keeper is not led by tim different tims okay good to know good to know portland kevin mina the hollow or when's that halloween i think oh mina the halloween oh Oh, everybody.

And we're back with story number three. Sega resurrects its old blast processing Genesis TV ad to fire shots at Mario Kart World.

37:57This comes from Chris Scullion at VGC. Let's watch the trailer here. I'm very excited. I haven't seen it, but this is very up my alley.

38:07That kart racing game. It's great. We don't need to show it to you. But what if you can blast through and race on a whole nother level? What if you could warp across different dimensions? fully customize and build out your machine and compete head to head across different platforms or uh what if you want to roam around on the open road like a loser

38:36good for them you know what i mean like even with the sake good for them just good for them why not you know have fun it's been a while you deserve something it's been a while since we've had you know any sort of attacks yeah bring it back bring that's all too nice if i'm being real yeah they have to because now they're trying to sell copies on the console yeah it's not a real fight anymore but no i love it if this were the 90s it wouldn't have been you know this game it's great it would have been like this game sucks like it's so like a fart sound yeah exactly um great for them sega's released a new ad for sonic racing cross worlds which harks back to the days of its 90s war with Nintendo.

Read the full transcript

39:15The latest ad shows the TV playing a blurred-out version of Mario Kart World with a voiceover saying, we all know the kart racing game. It's great. We don't need to show you it. You just watched the ad. You saw that. You know what happened here. Long-term Sega fans will recognize the ad as an homage to the company's infamous U.S. blast processing ad from the early 90s, where a TV showing... Kevin, can you find that, please? Sega Genesis has blast processing. Super Nintendo doesn't. So what's blast processing do?

39:42Oh, I didn't realize it was exactly like that.

39:51For audio listeners, it's like the exact style of commercial. I didn't realize that. There was a fart sound! There was a fart sound? Yes! The Sega Gen - Kevin, take a some fart sound. With a little white cargoes. And what if you don't have blast processing?

40:14Kind of a car fart. Oh, maybe it was a little sad trombone there. Yeah. Okay. That might have been the most excited I've ever got.

40:25The fart sounds confirmed.

40:31Oh, Lord. Both the old and new ads end with the slogan, Welcome to the Next Level, followed by Eraser shouting, sega in a very iconic fashion um cool love that let's have fun out here yeah i i i just i'm a sucker for the nostalgia stuff yeah me too you know uh paul rudd coming back for that nintendo commercial like all that stuff just makes me smile and yeah and it just gets me even more mad the fact that they haven't updated that stupid m &m's christmas commercial it does exist they do exist put that shit in widescreen what are we doing get it out get a celebrity to be santa claws like it's an easy win it is what celebrity you want seth rogan yeah yeah oh shit that's real and also paul bettany was my bet wonder he says yeah also the corona commercial

41:22another christmas one where it's the island yep and that shit's still in four three yeah and it's still gross looking like put some work into your marketing dude man we really really do louise tim also the guy at the corner store quit asking me if i have a 7-eleven card you know i don't i see you almost every day there's just another complaint i have wait at the corner store or at the 7-eleven local 7-eleven oh okay okay i mean what do you mean well i i don't know just corner store 7-eleven i thought just the guy like i crossed the street was asking for your 7-eleven card oh no no no no guy that said i understand i just wouldn't call 7-eleven a corner store I understand that it is, but because it's a brand, I'd call it a 7-Eleven.

42:00Oh, okay, okay. I feel like it stands above, stands alone. Because I didn't really grow up with 7-Elevens. We had like Circle K is what they were called. Would you call those corner stores or would you call them Circle K? They were all just corner stores. They were all corner stores, yeah. Interesting. Corner stores. I had a friend of mine who would enunciate the store, corner store. But anyway, this guy, do you have your number, sir? No, I don't have one of these cards. Yeah. I tried one time many years ago. I don't know what happened to that email. I don't have a, you see me almost every day.

42:29Just know to hit next, you know, unless your boss is around, you know? Yeah. I feel like you're trying to get some power up and war cards. You don't even want to trade in your fucking virtual. I'm not trying to get a burrito here. Yeah. Oh, Andy. What? I know we're already going long in this seat. Fucking sucks. What's going on with this? It's the worst. It's a whole goddamn thing. I've been getting so much shit on the internet and I deserve some of it sometimes. And even some of this shit I deserve. but i've been getting shit for my take on the virtual boy nintendo announced the virtual right right when it popped up i was like fuck yeah this is so stupid i love it like just that it's coming i think we had the same right reaction and uh then i was like i gotta be real i fucking hate the virtual boy i hated the games then i didn't want to play them then i don't want to play them now right and then what's so wrong about that then they showed the peripheral that you could actually buy the stupid piece of plastic these the stupid virtual boy itself and i go i'm fucking buying that 100 oh we knew you were yeah and the internet's mad at me now here's the thing couple things did i know the price was a hundred dollars when i said that no you should have known i'm still buying it andy no yeah but but here's the thing often what happens with these like uh showcase reactions is we react they don't tell us a lot of the bad news they don't tell us the pricing and then people get mad at our reactions in the clip outs without the context of us not knowing the bad news right right you know right so i'm like i just want that out there having said that to defend myself to some extent i support them doing weird things like this i have a collection i like i'm a retro nintendo fan specifically retro gaming fan so i'm like i like these things even if i don't like the console even if i don't like it it's like i like that they're doing this stuff so this is the type of thing i want to support because them getting this fucking weird means we might get a second screen ds attachment for the nintendo switch so that i can play pokemon soul silver in seven years right not allegedly you know what i mean right so i'm like that's where i'm at okay it's for collectors weirdos i'm a collector weirdo yeah i mean greg made a point of like i can't wait to see tim's dumb ass sitting at his desk like hunched over yeah but see that's what i don't want to play these fucking games oh no yeah put down hate ritual boy yeah no i think that's i think those are totally valid things thank you andy when we talked about even when we talked about the price i was like i'm not surprised by 100 bucks i mean not because i think it should be worth that much because whatever the price you think it should be tack on 40 and that's what you're gonna get here's the big problem with this stuff though and like i know we're already running late and like there's so much here that i don't even want to fucking have to go talk about it get into it i i've been talking about price a lot recently when it comes to a lot of games and stuff i've been getting real upset when decisions are made that i'm like that's fucking bullshit curbing the forgotten land why is that mario kart 8 should not be fucked or world should not be 80 dollars 80 dollars is 70 dollars i wouldn't give a shit at all that yes that's what games cost i'm fine with that 80s egregious for software what's going on here this hardware stuff the price of the amiibos bullshit why are these amiibos 50 dollars all that stuff this virtual boy thing 100 that's fucking insane do we know how much those samus on the bike is i think it's 50 bucks oh man i want it maybe 60 oh no yeah oh dude it's bad but here's the thing though it's the tariff stuff yeah and like that fucking sucks but like if the tariff shit wasn't a factor the stuff would be more expensive than we'd like it to be but it would not be this egregious expensive thing and i know that because the gamecube controllers and the um all the previous nso stuff were exactly what i said more than we want them to be but like reasonable like i get it that makes sense it's just now i'm like yeah 100 fuck that that's bullshit but i don't blame nintendo however i do think nintendo's taking advantage of the situation and i don't think that when all this fucking hellscape runs over if it ever is over that they're gonna fix that shit damn 50 bucks 60 bucks for that thing is that what you're seeing what i mean i don't know i was asking you though yeah uh kevin can you bring back up that virtual boy trailer whenever you get a chance just the very very very end of it because i just had a weird sort of observation is the is the font for virtual boy the same font that was used for ultra 64 that's cool yeah pretty cool it's pretty fucking cool man you would see that font back and they'd be like wow we're in the future yeah so they do have a cardboard version samus with the bikes 40 bucks the kirby one's 50 yes the cardboard version kevin i think is like 20 80 24 25 24.99 labo labo get that labo baby story number four here um nintendo fan spots unannounced character in mario brothers wonder uh this comes in the switch 2 trailer uh this from tom phillips at ign i'm just gonna jump to the chase at the two minute and one second mark there's a little mini game icon it's rosalina he gets to play as rosalina mario wonder fuck yeah dude nice my girl i love her so much do you think i can't wait to think ariana grandy's gonna play her in the movie me me and mike had a your mind is my mind moment the question was asked who's gonna play her i said all right i got a mike freaked he was like oh my god i was thinking the same thing fuck it's so good andy like i just works i want that so bad yeah i think she's too you okay yeah microphone i was tilted oh i think i got shocked no no i think she's too big ariana is a she's like five two she's she is huge man you know what i mean she's going on tour i mean she was in the okay but mario over a billion dollar movie true she was in fucking wicked i was gonna say yeah but that's It's like a vehicle for her.

48:30Right. You get what I'm saying? Like, that I think is a little bit different. That allows her to, like, make her little songs and, like, win EGOTs. I think I can get an EGOT one day. I truly believe in you. You're the most talented man I know. Oh, wow. Thank you. Yeah. What's the O? Oscar. Yeah. Oh, I love that, though. Ariana as Rosalina. I'm really, really, really into that. But I think it's unlikely. I can't think of who else is likely, though. It's kind of like. Maybe you just double pay. What's your face? Who pays beach? Give her like an extra 30 bucks. Man, I haven't had an outlet really to talk about my thoughts on Mario Galaxy movie.

49:13And now's not the time. But I have thoughts. I just want you to know that. You've got to get to the stories. They're fine. I'm excited about this, though. Mario Wonder getting these new modes. Like, it's these seem cool and fun. It's definitely a tale as old as time of Nintendo. of just like we're not gonna play these that long you know the idea of the multiplayer mario wonder like the weird party game stuff in it that's fucking awesome actually like the wonder flower stuff going on there i'm like that's like a real good idea but coming off of this donkey con bonanza stuff it's like oh like a roguelike on dk island that sounds like a really good idea and i haven't had time with it yet but talking to bless i'm like oh man it's as big of a disappointment as it seems to be for 20 too yeah um yeah this wonder thing come in well we'll see I mean if anything I'm excited to get back to it because it's a game that I never beat back in the day and it was always like the the prime example of you didn't be wonder never be wonder oh man the prime example of Nintendo can still make things look so damn good on this crappy hardware on the old switch one hardware hold on a second and I can't imagine how good it'll look it was like serendipitous time I know what's going on okay Nintendo of America just posted the Mario Galaxy movie official title announcement on their YouTube I don't know why it notified me.

50:26I don't get notifications from you. You got to know this. That was really weird. You got a lot. I thought maybe we're getting something new there. I'm excited for you to finish it. Like it's definitely I mean, it's it's a great game. I think me and you are in the same place of like Mario. Wonder is not a I saw you say this recently, not a game of the year contender. And I stand by that. I love Wonder. I love Mario games, but I don't think that Wonder is like the greatest 2D platformer, which I feel like for the time it came out. I want that in the conversation. I want people to be able to make an argument and be like, yeah, it was.

50:59But that's not to say it's not fucking awesome and that the Wonder Effects weren't great and the animations were incredible, the music, all that stuff. Smiling in your ear while playing it. Yeah, exactly. Let's move on to story number five. Microsoft Xbox PC app adds Steam games and access to other stores. Let's come some Tom Warren at The Verge. Microsoft's rolling out a new aggregated gaming library inside its Xbox PC app. today on the windows the updated apple now list games from steam battle net and other pc store fronts making it a launcher for games you have installed on your pc microsoft's been testing this aggregated aggregates a great word you dropped a good word yesterday did i yeah on the games cast i forgot what it was damn but i was really into it what let us know what you think it was arduous arduous oh it was arduous an arduous task i don't know if i ever use the word arduous if i'm not putting task at the end.

51:49I get it though. Microsoft's been testing this aggregated library in recent months with Xbox Insiders, but it's now available to all Xbox PC app users. It's designed primarily for the new full screen Xbox experience that will ship on the Xbox Ally devices, but it's also part of Microsoft's efforts to make the Xbox app on Windows the home of PC gaming. When you install a game from a supported PC storefront, it automatically appears in my library within the Xbox PC app, as well as the most recent list of titles in the sidebar so you can jump back into your favorite games with just a click. Alongside the library integration, Microsoft's also rolling out a new My App section in the Xbox PC app that allows PC gamers to quickly install and launch third-party apps like browsers, gaming utilities, and rival storefronts.

52:31Rival storefronts. This new feature is also designed primarily for handhelds to help people download and launch games from multiple stores. Andy, you're my PC baby. This is great. news that it's hoping it's seeming to be as convenient as we're all hoping that this device could be um to merge all these storefronts to not require me because again steam doesn't give a shit what device you're using they just want you to keep buying shit from steam and if that's your preferred preferred storefront that isn't easily accessible on other devices the fact that microsoft is making it easy to say well hey we would love for you to use our our ui and our devices or whatever and you could still use your steam library and it's gonna all sort of operate the way that we make it look and operate but you're not having to do crazy weird installs and go into the desktop mode and all that bullshit that usually repels a lot of i would say i want to say normies that sounds like i'm using it as a pejorative right there it's more of just like a like yeah nobody wants to deal with doing stuff like that everything people want the convenience people want things to be uh easy to use so i mean again this is all great news this is still one of those devices though that i just is it gonna succeed i just i mean succeed i just don't trust it's gonna work but like the way you said i i am very pessimistic about this despite being very optimistic about the dream vision of it i just don't believe it's gonna happen like i i know that they're saying it is i know they're making the devices but like the idea that a windows pc xbox like system is just going to work i don't know man but if it does fuck yes we've won we've done it but i think that we are going to be having a conversation six months from now that is really questioning like did they do it or not you know like we're gonna have a dialogue the charles Barkley.

54:31We will have a dialogue. Yeah, buddy. We'll have a dialogue. People in the chat question be like Mr. Joran say it's already working. It's like how's it Andy? Has it already worked? Has it been already working? Because it seems like I'm having more problems than not when I'm like just trying to should this work this way? Well, it works that way, but it doesn't work this way. It's like, well, I want it to work this way this one time. I don't want it to work that way another time until that all is just solved. It's not working like this device needs to be operatable for the mass audience this cannot be like look i i own a retro a retroid pocket and to the to the effect to what it is it it just works it works as it is right now right but that is for such a niche audience and just working for this niche sort of tech audience is one thing but you need this thing to just work for the masses yes and and real quick i also want to say for the the masses part this yes that is the most important part but actually a big chunk of it and you were making this argument a second ago too it needs to work for the dedicated it needs to work for the people that aren't the masses that are in this shit and i think that yes if you're just playing on one device and you only have that one thing it's working now like that's fine i'm saying if you have a steam deck and you're gonna have this other handheld thing and you have a pc and you have maybe a second pc and all that stuff that's what needs to work because that's the promise here is that your storefronts are everywhere and you're able to like share it between all of it and like that to me is the thing that i just have little faith in them being able to pull off based on the past based on what we've seen from um xbox primarily but specifically gaming on the pc space outside of steam the windows side in the last handful of years so from a storefront from an ecosystem point of view i know you can just get the game open up the exe and it plays.

56:27That's not what I'm saying. I know that works. Yeah. Story number six here. Power World will leave early access in 2026 with a massive update plan for version 1.0. This comes from Chris Scullion at BGC. Power World will leave early access next year with a large update plan for its version 1.0 release developer Pocket Pair has announced. In a video posted on the game's official YouTube channel, communications director and publishing manager John Bucky Buckley explained that content updates on the game will be a little quiet as Pocket Pair shifts its focus to fixing quirks and jank in the lead up to the game's official proper release.

57:01Nice dude. I met him at SGS last year. Very cool. Since Palworld's release we've shipped five major updates each adding new mechanics and improving the game in various ways citing the addition of raids in version 0.2 the new island in 0.3 fate break in 0.4, crossplay in 0.5 in collaboration with Terraria in 0.6 Now we've reached a crossroads and need to decide what comes next While we have a lot of ideas for where we want to take Power World, we'll also need to start thinking about Power World 1. Beyond just adding new content, there's a lot of cleanup that needs to be done before Power World can exit early access.

57:34It's no secret that Power World has a lot of quirks and jank, and we want to take the time to properly address those before releasing this game. With that in mind, we plan to start cleanup this year. Our goal is to ultimately release Power World next year in 2026, and we think taking the time now to fix those problems will ultimately lead to a better game. Development of Power World is not scaling back. Quite the opposite. that Palo 1.0 will be a major milestone for us, and we have a truly massive amount of content planned for a 1.0 update. Rather than rushing it, we believe that laying the foundation now will lead to a better game in the end.

58:06Man, remember when Sarah Bono was just all about Palo World? Oh, yeah. Wanted it everywhere. Yep, yep, yep. We want to put your Palo World all over the place. And this was all about Silksong. Yeah. That's cool, man. You got to be. You got to be at this point. I mean, that's great news for a game in... I think the 1.0 releases are always obviously a super exciting accomplishment for dev teams. This is now is our time to kind of almost re-release the game in a way. Yep. And that's, you know, I'm just using that as terms of like, this is a way to have another big marketing push. We are now hitting 1.0 for all of you who saw the game in early access, who played for a couple of hours, who thought, let me get back to it when it's more developed.

58:51this is going there has never been a better time to hop in to pal world with our 1.0 release they got the island they got to terraria collaboration you did a great job of people that still play pal world like every day you did a great job of skipping of skipping sakajirima island thank you i just called it the island yeah that's a great job the new island you crushed that one but yeah i know people that still play this game every day the person i know that plays it every Day also has an ant farm in their house. So I don't trust them as a human being, but they do. That's awesome. They name the ants.

59:26Not all of them, but they have a couple that they name. And bro, these ants are crazy. The way they feed these ants. You differentiate them? And then they drop, like whenever there's spiders and shit, and they're trying to get rid of the spiders, they put it in, and these ants just fucking... Oh my God. The ants, Scott. Some of the ants are bigger than the others. Some ants are small, but some ants are big. But if I wanted to know about all the small news items, where would I look, Andy? You would go to the smallest new items you need to know about. What? The Wii News channel where we cover all the small news items you need to know about.

59:58Yeah, that's true. Annapurna Interactive Direct from Tokyo 2025 is set for September 23rd. God, even more great games coming. Annapurna comes with the hits. Wasn't the Robocop game shown at an Annapurna event? Oh, dude, I don't remember. I think so. That's pretty sick. What do you... Okay, so obviously Stray was one of their games. Yeah. And that's kind of where my knowledge ends immediately. New Game Pass games are announced. September 16th, Roadcraft. 17th, Deep Rock Galactic Survivor. 18th, Frostpunk 2 and Wobbly Life. 19th, Hades. Hell yeah. Hades 1 on Game Pass? Hades 1, yeah. on September 22nd, Endless Legend 2, 23rd, Sworn, 25, Peppa Pig, World Adventures, Visions of Mana, and then on the 30th, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, which I think is fucking rad.

1:00:56There's one Lara Croft and the Something and the Something game that came out 360 era and it's kind of like a strategy game. Isometric one? Yeah, and it was really cool. Was that not Tomb Raider Go? Well, no, that was awesome too. That was Lara Croft Go. That was great. But no, it was a 360 game and it was awesome. I think it's this one. So check it out maybe if it's the one I'm thinking of. Annapurna also did Cocoon, Thirsty Suitors, Solar Ash, and more importantly, they did Lego Voyagers, which is coming out soon. Or coming out today. Out today. Oh, shit. I think I got a little Steam wish list sort of notification.

1:01:36Temple of Osiris is what people are saying is the one. Yeah, no, it's not this. That was kind of cool, though. Sopa, Tale of the Stolen Potato. October 7th. Then For the King 2, Overthrown in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. On Standard, Game Pass Corrigate, City Skylines Remastered, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Warhammer 40k Darktide. And then for my GN, after being teased, the Persona 5 collab crossover for Overwatch 2 has been officially revealed, bringing numerous themed skins to the game. That's cool, I guess. but the K-pop Demon Hunters seem to be coming to Fortnite and I will be swiping the card, Andy.

1:02:14Oh, nice. Have you seen it yet? No. This is, I keep thinking about that. I've seen a lot of clips on TikTok. I think about this movie a lot because I really, really enjoy it. It is so Tim, Andy. It is so Tim, but it's so Tim in the way that it's Andy. Okay. At some point, I don't know what, I feel like what we need to do is do a watch along with the audience, just me and you hanging out just so you can experience it and just have people like watch you experience it. Pop one with a pickle? Yes, I promise you. That sounds fantastic. Servios debuted the launch trailer for Alien Rogue Incursion Part 1 Evolved Edition.

1:02:46There is every type of, why am I blanking on the word right now? What is a period and a parentheses and a quotation mark and a comma? And what are those things? What do you define them as? What do you call all of those things? Yeah. There's words. Words are words. Letters are letters. Punctuation. punctuation I'm so overwhelmed with like you looking in my face so like I thought I was in trouble or something he was looking at me so deeply oh my god I fucking blessed you every type of punctuation is in the name alien rogue incursion so it's alien colon rogue incursion dash part one colon evolved edition I guess there's not that much and announced that the re-envision console and PC edition of the game will now launch an Xbox Series X and S alongside the previously announced PlayStation 5 and PC on September 30th.

1:03:48Recreation, but it's spelled with like a wreck, like a car wreck, launches on October 28th on Xbox Series, PS5 and PC. There's a little trailer here. You're in a little Dodge Charger cruising along the streets. Would you know what a Dodge Charger was if it weren't for Fast and Furious? Not a chance. I love that. I do now, don't I? I love that. Remember when I called Optimus Prime? A truck Optimus Prime. Anyways, it's Burnout meets Hot Wheels Unleashed from the devs of dangerous driving. Oh, that's sick. Pretty cool. Huh. Yeah. Formerly Criterion devs. Valheim's coming to PS5 in 2026. Ooh. Yep.

1:04:24That'll be big. AJS Biophysical says, hey, Tim, can you explain an Oxford comma? I would love to. That's when there's a word, comma, word, comma. and the other word. Nice. Because you don't want to group those two words together. You're not saying that word and that word. You're saying that word and as well that other word. Nice, dude. Henry Halfhead is coming out on the, it's now out now on Nintendo Switch family of consoles, PS5 and the personal computer. Why'd they write it that way? Co-published by Pop Agenda. And that's it for Wii News. Sick. We got a lot of Super Chats. Let's get to them.

1:05:01Yeah, I got a super chat here, Tim, with some Silksong spoilers about bosses and some stuff in them. So I won't read it, but thank you, Nathan, for your very generous$10 super chat congratulating me on beating the game because the game was beat. We beat that game. We beat that game. We didn't roll credits. I didn't beat the game. I beat the game. I really, I hope I beat the game. Andy, I'm trying for you. And I think I'm going to do it eventually, but it's hard. You know, there are going to be a lot of moments. It's a very Elden Ring type deal. When you're getting your ass whipped and disheard moments, it's the game telling you, go look for other shit.

1:05:39Exactly. Go get some more health somewhere. But me being an idiot, I go, no, but now these are the conditions I have to beat it in. Me too. Or else I'm weak. And that's so stupid. I know I can do it like this. It's so dumb. I can do it like this. It's going to take me two hours, but I can do it like this. I think if I played the way a smart person would play that valued their time, I maybe would have beaten the game in about maybe, you know, upwards of in the upper 30s, maybe lower 40 hour count. I think if some if I got to bosses and said, you know what, I'm not ready for this shit, but I didn't do the smart things and decided to, you know, four hours on that boss, two hours on that, but whatever, you know, we're not smart sometimes.

1:06:25Fool's Gold says I'm still trying to beat Metroid Dread And Andy I've been you know trying to I've been holding this in for a while And it's been hard it's been aching Giving me a little gas if I'm being honest I have some grievances with you That I haven't really wanted to share with you Because I've kind of just wanted to let it be Let bygones beat bygones I don't like your thoughts on Metroid Dread I will not expound more I don't even want to hear any fucking rebuttal or anything But you need to grow up okay I was asked about it yesterday Were you really I want to hear what you said I really don't want to fucking hear what you said Okay?

1:06:56Is this game better than Hollow Knight Or is this game better than Metroid Dread And I said Metroid Dread's good This game is an all timer Talking about Hollow Knight? Yeah Okay well I mean I'm not I said you know I was a bit more you know Extremist about it at first and I said This game is way fucking better than Metroid Dread I said however Metroid Dread a very good game I don't like use the word good I don't like this You know what our fucking kind of funny scale is It's a tactical nuke It's a good game Resolute says congrats Tim Thank you so much Dolphin Corn says congrats Tim Stonewall says hi everyone congrats Tim Thank you so much I'm going to be a father And that's fucking terrifying for everybody Because she's going to have the best taste in Metroidvania Oh man Mr.

1:09:43Crazy That's a good AMV right there That's one where like You just play that AMV On the way home Yeah And it's just It's just in the rain Vegeta just standing there Just looking so somber He doesn't know Where he's at in life Right now Tim His son fucking is From the future And he's alive I was like what He's got a half He's got a half jacket He has a fucking half jacket Trump's has a fucking Crop top jacket God I wish I could wear A crop bomber man I just can't Dude For real for real For real The members only ones That I've been buying Because I have that Purple members only and they have the crop top one and i saw a dude at pax west dressed as trunks not really like a cosplay he was just like kind of casual doing a thing um but he was like guns were out dude was ripped and i was like oh man i was so close to like dude you got to buy this fucking crop top jacket the trunks one because it would like you're going for the trunks look right now you have the purple jacket yeah well he had the sleeves cut off though probably just to throw out the guns but like, yeah, this jacket's so sick.

1:10:47And every time I look at him, I'm like, I would not be able to pull that out. I see it all the time too. And I, I know I can't, but I want you to know, Andy, you can. Everybody, please let us know in the comments below. If you think Andy Cortez can pull off a crop bomber, Jack, because I, I really think he could let the belly just hang out. I think he could do it. I mean, you can wear a shirt. I'm not making you go fucking skinless. Ant-Man with the$20 super chat. Thank you. Ant-Man says congratulations. Thank you very much. I am a char says, thank you guys for distracting me. I had to put my dog down today and I really needed it.

1:11:16I am so, so, so sorry to hear that. That is the worst news I could possibly hear in my life. So hopefully this episode brought you some joy and distraction for just a little bit. We have a whole day of content to keep rounding off some things. Grounding. Spartan says, congrats, Tim. Also, the PlayStation concert is coming to Ohio in November. Can't wait to go. Dragging my wife to see it with me. It's coming to SF in February. I want to see. I will be there. Will I have a, like, four-week-old baby? yes i will find a way to be there uh cautious says tim when's the twist metal season two screencast that's not gonna happen i fucking loved it you should watch it on the cock um mando says b-day tax and special shout out you already read that one uh greasy grover says i think sarah's before may i already read that um ty wilkin says do you think we get what playstation did with yote stay to play trailer that ends with and tune in on this date for more that date being the vgas i don't think so i think we just see it at the vgas uh mellow fellow says let's not forget GTA 6 will have three major releases initial console GTA Online and finally PC we gotta dodge all of those yes and no I feel like the release is the big one and then like PC I don't think necessarily affects the sales as much directly in terms of competitions it's gonna sell incredibly well I will be so like fascinated by the end of the year to see where the dips in TV and streaming ratings when they happen.

1:12:46Are you bringing this up because it's Twisted Metal? Because I'll fucking slap you. No, I'm talking about GTA. When GTA releases, to see the dips in everything else. Oh, gotcha. That people just weren't, executives just not really aware of what a megaton this is going to be. Yeah. Gondor's Condor said, In the back half of October, we now have Pokemon Keeper, Ninja Gaiden, Outer Worlds 2, and this. Buckle up, gamers. We're eating out here. Resolute says, I understand how big GTA is, but there's room for other games to be in the release windows GTA. It's not for everyone, myself included. You can say that, but like, I don't think you're correct.

1:13:21I don't think you're correct. Jimbo six, five says thoughts on silent Hill F review comments by dual shockers reviewer. I think it was a deadline rather than embargo. This is all types of bad. This is a very bad for people like us that do follow the rules and take the shit seriously. And it, it's really rough. And when we complain about Nintendo only giving us one code and the pokemon za stuff and all that it's like that's because people in the past have made mistakes and like the companies have had to like lock down and make it difficult for us to schedule things and all that having said that leave this person alone i think that there's that are getting an unnecessary amount of dogpiling it's like they made a mistake and it's a bad mistake but like they're a human being be cool chill out and he's never playing kingdom come deliverance to this here dean brown promising you man uh i've never broken a promise and we got a lot of super stress but we need to move on i'm getting all heated and worked up and we have more shows to do there's a section of the show called you're wrong that i don't even want to fucking click on because someone tries starting shit with me today i don't fucking know is it because i called dread a good game yes it is okay i told you i didn't want to hear more thoughts and somehow you used the word good seven times in one sentence it's good man it's good oh my lord uh kebab says two missed we news items i swear to fucking god these better be okay uh sony's rolling out the dual sense firmware update that lets you pair it to multiple devices switching by holding the ps button and pressing a face button i appreciate that i'm excited for that that's going to be a lot of fun um i was telling annie this but i was living my best goddamn life flying to paris playing hollow Night Silk song on my Steam Deck next to me, like down below my seat, on my X-Reels with my dual sets.

1:15:06And I was like, I'm in the freaking future, man. Again, not sponsored. Not sponsored, just in love. Tim, why don't you talk about the X-Reels outside of content like you do everything else? This guy won't shut up about these damn X-Reels. Goddamn. My favorite thing is everybody trying to guess my baby's name, and I saw multiple guesses. They were like, Nvidia, Mayo, Geddes, presented by X-Reel. Hell yeah, dude. Oledia. Oledia. Dude, awesome. Tim's now formally announced on Kind of Funny Games content that he and G are going to be parents. I mean, yeah, you know, I guess I did.

1:15:41You just have a... Spoon Martinez says, just for Tim's collecting the Spidey and Cyclops figures inspired by NBC2 or by another brand, Cardash figure hearts. They're sick but expensive. Shit, so is the Spider-Man not even the same thing? Oh, it's like a different brand completely? That's interesting. Thank you for that information. I'm looking to that. That's it. Kebabs corrected themselves. Joke's on me. Andy, I appreciate you most of the time. You are the most talented person I know. Some things you need to keep to yourself. You know what I'm talking about. We're about to do Gamescast. It's a shit list.

1:16:15It's PlayStation's top 25 games brought to you by IGN. It's going to be a good one. I can guarantee you that. I'm pretty sure it's me, Andy, and Bless. Yeah. That's going to be fun. But until next time, it's been our pleasure to serve you.
