2:13Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Today's gaming news stories include PlayStation finally confirms Wolverine's release date,
2:18Greg Miller:a new Overwatch game has been revealed, and Amazon shuts down another game. We'll have all this more because this is Kinda Funny Games Daily.
2:34Blessing Adeoye Jr.:yo what's up welcome to kind of funny games daily for tuesday february 24th 2026 i'm on your host
2:40Greg Miller:blessing adioe jr joining me is the one and only madeline stanley hello blessing how are you doing
2:47Andy Robinson:i'm doing good how are you doing pretty good pretty good happy to be here happy to have you
2:51Greg Miller:here of course you happen to be in town you're going to be on some content for us later in the week that we're very excited to have you on um but how are you doing i didn't include your i forget do you have an outlet that you make content with i always like to promote that yeah i have a twitch twitch.tv slash mad exposure so i stream there we go hell yeah so come come over there i have a
3:11Andy Robinson:series called sunday scaries where we play horror games every sunday right now it's february where
3:18Greg Miller:i've been playing resident evil all february love that oh yeah yeah which resident evils you've been
3:22Andy Robinson:playing so i finished two at the beginning of the month and did our two remake then i did re4 remake and then i just started seven this past sunday i noticed how you skipped re3 well here's the thing okay so obviously february is because we have re9 coming out soon and i i asked fellow resident evil people which ones do i have to like at least get a taste of before nine comes out and a lot of people like three but they didn't say it was like essential yeah essential yes for the nine experience so that's what we that's what i decided so so this is your first time playing through the
3:59Greg Miller:resident evil games oh hell yeah yeah do you have any ones that stick out so far i guess between
4:03Andy Robinson:re2 and re4 so i love them both for different reasons so i i have always been a resident evil movie person um i love the movies even though they're not very good uh but i will fight for the first one um but i never really got into the games but i've become like a resident evil fanatic like i i love them i love the horror of two remake it's so scary i screamed so much but i re4 remake was so fun i love being leon just kicking people in the face yes so it's like i would love in some worlds where we could merge those two things like horror but leon kicking people in the face you
4:41Greg Miller:know yeah i i feel like i resonate with that very greatly like re2 was my first resident evil that i played all the way through b and truly loved i remember trying re4 back in the day multiple times across multiple different platforms and whatever reason re4 didn't initially stick with me until i played remake and i think part of that was that re2 was the gateway drug there's something about just like the pure horror like pacing and the tenseness of having mr x just like yeah there in the ether following you and also the design of the police station everything taking place in this one place for the most part until you get out of there um loved everything about that re4 got to it and i grew to love it because it is more of a hyped up like yeah a bit more actiony has a bit more going on leon's doing flips off of walls to like dodge chainsaws and shit right like it's that kind of resident evil but also very very lovable in its own way and of course that's the fan favorite people will say re4 is one of the greatest games of all time i feel like in between there i have my ideal resident evil and i'm looking forward to resident evil requiem because i feel
5:45Andy Robinson:like it could end up being that yeah i feel like everything we've seen hints that way so we'll just have to see what ends up happening with it yeah it really fulfills that promise of course this friday me and andy oh i'm so excited are going to lock ourselves into the streaming room we're gonna
6:01Greg Miller:play through resident evil requiem uh push for a marathon stream i'm thinking we'll probably go for 24 hours if we're able to push us there. And I'm looking forward to it. I know I've been sounding like I've been dreading a little bit. And really, the only part I'm dreading is the staying up part. I love Resident Evil so much that I am looking forward to playing this game with Andy. Because if you saw our Resident Evil 7 playthrough, that was such fun content to be a part of. And so, looking forward to doing that again. I'm worried about Andy Cortez.
6:27Andy Robinson:Well, I love the combo of you, too, because the way that you respond to horror is so different. I feel like it's a fun balance of of just yeah terror and excitement and um stress yes yeah i think i get stressed and he legitimately
6:43Greg Miller:gets scared yes like andy does not like doing horror things or playing horror games or watching horror movies and so to lock him in a room with resident evil requiem which is from the one demo that i've played of it multiple times seems to be leaning on the way more scarier side of it at least through the the grace section that they had in the demo right where it is the i don't even know what the creature is called but the big creature that chases after you or whatever that shit is
7:06Andy Robinson:fucking scary and we're gonna make Andy play that you know Andy's gonna fight against it but we're
7:11Blessing Adeoye Jr.:gonna have him play it but enough about Resident Evil remember this is kind of funny games daily if you're watching live you can be a part of the show by super chatting in over on youtube.com slash kind of funny games remember we couldn't do this without our producers over on patreon.com slash kind of funny so thank you to Carl Jacobs Omega Buster and Delaney the Psalm Twining for
7:31Tim Gettys:now let's begin with what is and forever will be the roper report it's time for some news we have
7:40Greg Miller:five stories today
7:45Blessing Adeoye Jr.:bakers does it starting with our number one finally some good news playstation finally confirms marvel's wolverine release date i'm pulling from andy robinson at video games chronicle insomniac games and playstation have confirmed that marvel's wolverine will release for ps5 on september 15th 2026 the release date means the much anticipated superhero title will arrive two months before gta 6 which most studios are likely attempting to avoid i cut the article off there
8:15Greg Miller:because it doesn't go on to say anything else that's like new details but madeline i want to know from you what are your hype levels for marvel's wolverine i'm excited for it i i want
8:25Andy Robinson:to see more i think that i always temper my expectations until i see more gameplay but i'm very excited like i think insomniac's an amazing studio i love the spider-man games i think wolverine looks really cool i feel like it will be fun for them to go i think a little bit more in that r rated territory right like yeah spider-man's very like a superhero for that kids can enjoy whereas Wolverine's definitely more of the rated R version and I'm curious to see what they do with that.
8:56Greg Miller:Yeah, I think there's something to it where Spider-Man can almost feel like you're playing with an action figure where it is like, oh, I'm just beating up baddies and throwing them everywhere. But like, you know, it's not bloody in the way that you expect a Wolverine to be. It can't go certain places. And I say that even though I love the places Spider-Man goes. Wolverine, I think, has the ability to, I think, stretch Insomniac in a way where between ratchet and spidey and even sunset overdrive you don't really see them go that crazy with like blood violence all that shit and that's stuff you expect from wolverine so yeah i feel
9:28Andy Robinson:like they're they're gonna take the kid gloves off a little bit and i feel like that will be really interesting to see from a studio that makes amazing games but yeah where can we push it towards
9:37Greg Miller:now did you see how they announced this release i didn't they just posted it on social media really yeah like i should have linked it actually uh kevin i i can try to find it and drop it in
9:47Blessing Adeoye Jr.:assets for you but it legitimately was okay kevin's gonna look for it it legitimately was just
9:52Greg Miller:like wolverines coming you know september uh you know 15th and then it's like a barely even a trailer like almost like a teaser with no gameplay that just has the september 15th overlaid on top
10:04Andy Robinson:of it like very unceremonious unceremonious yeah that's so you wonder why it wouldn't be part of a state of play or some other showcase yeah which is like kind of the conversation i want to have a
10:17Greg Miller:little bit is why would they do it this way because the state of play was two weeks ago like a week and a half ago like doesn't feel like it was that long ago one of the things that we kept talking about was that insomniac oh chat remind me insomniac said that they were going to give us more details on this game in like summer is that what they said yeah here uh kevin has it this is the instagram page for insomniac okay so we just have a picture and a date yeah
10:43Blessing Adeoye Jr.:you just go from the wolverine key art to then the date and then that's it that's so strange they said spring when does spring officially start can you slide your mic over a little to
10:55Andy Robinson:your right the other way there we go there it is um yeah i would not consider february spring
11:04Greg Miller:i was gonna say i'm like what's the why why did we not just put this into the state of play which my one theory if i'm trying to think of the most sound logical reasoning in my brain is that they probably just crossed the milestone like there was probably some sort of thing where they were like hey we had to hit x milestone so we can comfortably say that this game is going to come out in september and they just didn't have it done by two weeks ago and now they do have it done And instead of holding it for a summer showcase or something, they're like, well, just post it. Like we're ready to say it.
11:40Greg Miller:So just post it so we can get more of the marketing rollout going.
11:43Andy Robinson:I wonder too, like on the flip side of that, do they not have enough done where it's like, if you include it in a state of play and all you, and you don't want to show anything, you can't really just have a state of play and be like, Hey, and so anyway, Wolverine's coming out. Here's a picture. And here's a date. Like if we watched that in the state of play, everyone would be like, what is this? why did you include such a small piece of information i feel like sometimes maybe you would maybe they didn't they didn't want to show that much and so they're like okay well we can include it in a big showcase i guess we have to just do a one-off thing yeah maybe like they're
12:16Greg Miller:like yeah we we don't have the time to pull together an asset for a larger trailer and we don't want to show off this seven second thing in a state of play i don't know if that's beyond them to do because i feel like we've seen it before but i guess when you're this late into the marketing cycle where the game's coming out later in the year yeah you don't want to have like a five second seven second asset that is here's the release date like you save that for when you're first announcing god of war ragged rock and you're like people are like oh what is this and you see the sony santa monica logo and then you see god of the god of war logo and you're like oh cool let's go we're getting new god of war that's exciting i think when you see multiple trailers for this already and we've seen the voice actor breaking down the gameplay and all this shit yeah it's like you can't then just turn around and be like all right no more gameplay but here's a date yeah and that's it that's all we're giving you yeah exactly um september how does september
13:04Andy Robinson:feel for you for this game coming out i think that feels good i love a good fall game um especially because i think it's obviously smart as you mentioned in the article to like get ahead of gta i think gta is going to take over everyone's life at a certain point um and this gives you enough time i imagine to finish wolverine so i think that's a i think it's a great place for

13:24Blessing Adeoye Jr.:them now i want to pull on a super chat if we're gonna bust out a little bit of the tinfoil hats here volk dasher writes in and says looks like this is planned to calm things after blue blue point but god of war 2.5d sorrows marathon tocon fighting souls cana 2 wolverine that's quite a
13:42Greg Miller:high level lineup uh in 2026 for ps5 it's kind of a two-parter there one do you believe the idea that this could be them trying to distract people from blue point that's an interesting theory it
13:53Andy Robinson:It does feel like a bit tinfoil hatty, but because of how, if it was a more produced thing, like we had a trailer or some, some other detail, I would be less, I would be more skeptic of that, but because it is just a picture and a date, it does seem a little bit like it could be, Hey, we need, does anyone have anything we can share to kind of get the attention off this news cycle? Like, and, and Sonic's like, well, I guess we could do a date. Like we're pretty confident in September 15th. But I don't know. It does. It feels a little too. It feels a little tinfoil.
14:28Greg Miller:Yeah. Like I, I respect the idea of like, you know, let's, let's, let's get into the inner workings of how like, you know, marketing can be used as distractions. Cause I think for sure that happens. I feel like this is not that I, I think Wolverine in terms of the audience that Wolverine speaks to and the people paying attention to the blue point news, there's a way wider net of people that are in, that are invested in Wolverine that probably don't even know that blue point closed as a studio you're talking about a mainstream audience of gamers versus people that listen to kind of funny games daily that are aware that blue point uh closed so I think that's one thing and I think the other thing is that yeah if you really wanted to distract people from that you would have an actual trailer like you would have something that's bigger than just the release date posted on Instagram and Twitter and YouTube or whatever right like you want something that people that is actually going to pull people away to talk about it well I also think too like everything
15:20Andy Robinson:that happened with microsoft on friday like is that not pulling attention away from the stuff that happened with blue point like that was so much bigger than the blue point not that they're not both important but the microsoft stuff was so huge obviously y 'all had a emergency kind of funny games daily to talk about it like if you wanted to pull attention away like congratulations you got some attention someplace else like no one's talking about the blue point stuff right
15:46Greg Miller:now yeah if i if i was in the playstation like the shady offices of the playstation you know marketing thing and i'm like all right guys we need a distraction uh all right we can like we can put out the wolverine release date and then friday comes and they announce that they're that phil spencer's retiring sarah bonds out the ai person is coming out i'd be like hey we can keep
16:08Blessing Adeoye Jr.:the release date actually like let's just keep this plan we don't have to shift everything to to make this happen um as far as the second part of the super chat talking about the 2026 slate
16:18Greg Miller:of playstation games i feel like this year is more exciting than maybe the last few years of
16:24Blessing Adeoye Jr.:playstation exclusives when when you really lay it out right you have uh god of war sons of sparta which i know is out to like mixed reviews or whatever but that's a game that released yet sorrows marathon tocon cana 2 wolverine as volk dash your hair lists like for you is that an
16:40Greg Miller:exciting lineup when you think about this year in playstation yeah i think it's exciting there's
16:45Andy Robinson:some revisiting old franchises some new things um i think i think it sounds cool i think having a date on wolverine makes me very excited because i i feel like once until i get dates like i said it's hard to get excited because just the the gaming space is so volatile yeah where i'm like but i i feel like it's got a little bit of for a little bit of something for everybody yeah again
17:10Greg Miller:like i mean i'm somebody who i loved returnal returnal was my game of the year the year that that game came out and so sorrows is a follow-up hell yeah wolverine like to your point uh at the beginning of this conversation talking about insomniac and like you know insomniac is a such a consistent studio and they consistently put out fun vibrant games that know exactly what they are and how to be what they are and i have no doubt coming off of playing the amount of spider-man games that they've made now and sunset overdrive like a wolverine game from them i know i know exactly what that is i can see it in my head and even as we watched the last trailer for the game that came out a couple state of plays ago like yeah that looks like the game that i've envisioned in my head this looks like insomniac's wolverine and so like all that said i think the game's gonna be a blast i think the game's gonna be a hit and so super looking forward to that and then you have a surprise and something like cana 2 which you know we didn't know existed before a few weeks ago So, hell yeah, let's go.
18:05Greg Miller:Like, I love to see them investing in something that was very promising in the first game coming out with Kena Bridge of Spirits, but was something I wanted to see more from, you know, something I could have seen growing and improving. And from just the trailer we've gotten from Kena 2, that looks like something that is growing and improving. You have, like, these bigger open areas to explore. You have a game that continues to look phenomenal in terms of presentation and fidelity. And I'm excited to get back into that game. It feels like it's been forever since Kena 1. And so, yeah, I think this this lineup is one that, you know, really excites me.
18:35Greg Miller:And then Marathon also is like a question mark in a good way, in my opinion.
18:39Andy Robinson:And that's soon, right?
18:40Greg Miller:Yeah, that's March 5th, I want to say.
18:43Andy Robinson:Yeah, like next week.
18:44Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah. Yeah. And like a week and a half, two weeks.
18:46Andy Robinson:Crazy.
18:47Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And like, you know, I'll throw this. I was holding this for We News, but to throw it in there talking about things coming up soon. They didn't mention in the super super chat, but there's Ghost of Yote Legends coming out that same week. And then they announced today that Horizon Hunters Gathering, the closed beta, is happening February 27th through March 1st. So that starts in a few days. And I forget if they said the release date for that game, if that's coming out this year, if that's coming out later. I don't think they said. But regardless, I'm excited for that.
19:16Greg Miller:You know what I mean? Like, that's one that I think, in the same way that Marathon is kind of a question mark, but has the hype of people that like Extraction stuff and like Bungie, Horizon Hunters Gathering is one that I think could be promising if it hits.
19:28Andy Robinson:so yeah horizon has always had a really fun game loop for me i'm not a big multiplayer person but
19:35Blessing Adeoye Jr.:hunter gatherer looks interesting yeah um to bring in more super chats here msv writes in and says they said more info in spring they never said it would release in spring i guess like to that yeah i mean there still could be more info i still assume wolverine popping up at the next state
19:55Greg Miller:of play with some more details maybe you get a new villain and then also we're talking about comic-con probably when we're talking about a wolverine game like there are so many places
20:03Blessing Adeoye Jr.:that this thing could pop up with more info at this point you could put out a trailer by itself and then only special features writes in and says we love madeline stanley ah love you mario um another one from joshy frog comes in and says let's go madeline hi joshy and then another one from foxy steve who writes in and says just showing some love for the queen of scream always
20:24Andy Robinson:awesome seeing uh madeline on kf thanks foxy steve hell yeah um are there games that you're
20:32Greg Miller:looking forward to that feel like they're far further out in the year right like coming out in that second half range because one of the things that they mentioned in the article that
20:44Blessing Adeoye Jr.:i didn't include here was that i believe wolverine and gta are the only games that we have like
20:51Andy Robinson:release dates for now yeah i that's what i'm going to say that's such a hard question for me because as soon as you asked me i can't remember a single video game that's coming out this year
20:59Greg Miller:i know i mean chad is saying fable which is a really good one yeah i think fable looks really cool i haven't played any fable games and um the last showing that they did with that i'm very
21:09Andy Robinson:intrigued by the morality system and um all the things they were talking about how the the world sort of responds to you so vable is definitely on my list um yeah i can't think of
21:21Blessing Adeoye Jr.:any other games one for me all throughout there and i forget if they even said a date actually no i think we do have a date for this one phantom blade zero that's one that i know is coming in the fall um i've opened their steam page and they have september 8th there
21:35Greg Miller:oh 007 i'm looking forward to that nice i mean 007 i believe that's first half of the year right forza's first half of the year like i think the first half of the year is filled up quite nicely with release dates is that second half of the year with gta looming and now with wolverine kind of you know stamping its place i'm curious to see how those dates start to fall yeah between those
21:55Andy Robinson:two i it is interesting to me because i know everyone's scared of gta and i think rightfully so but so will that not sort of cannibalize the other games though too so like if you're avoiding GTA but everyone's avoiding GTA so are we not gonna have like a crazy spring winter where all of a sudden okay well I'm not competing against GTA anymore but I am competing against Wolverine and Saros and some like a bunch of other really big things as well
22:27Greg Miller:yeah I think for sure that's going to happen I think for sure we're going to get if we're gonna predict it right I think summer game fest season will be very telling as far as what xbox yeah jeff keely and playstation have to say about where the dates land for things or even what they don't say because i think this might be the one where this summer we get the least release dates out of out of anything because everybody's just like well we would have released late fall but we don't want to try and contend with gta and um wolverine and what other whatever other big game fable you know so i think we're gonna get a lot of 2027s which doesn't sound like a real year to say it out loud um or maybe we get like those earlier earlier like september release dates already we have two big ones in september i think we get more of those but then i think as we get closer to september they then delay out of the year yeah that's my that's my
23:20Andy Robinson:loose prediction for it i will i do hope that gta season as i'm gonna call it i like that um we see a good crop up of indies of people who are just putting out smaller things like we see more of the of the indie games being like well that's not exactly my audience like i'll just put something out and we get a big grouping of a lot of really cool indie games i think we i think for sure we
23:46Greg Miller:can see that yeah have you checked out any of the steam next fest no i haven't because i've been
23:50Andy Robinson:here i haven't been at my computer but there's a couple of ones that um i'm i have my eye on like what i can't think of any of them anymore but i will i will report back i so the last few days
24:03Greg Miller:i guess steam next press only started yesterday so i played some demos yesterday i also played more demos through the weekend uh last weekend because there were some demos that just went up early yesterday i played a demo for i played a demo for two for well three different games one of them i didn't like very much um but i played the demo for lucid which came into my email they presented it as a celestoidvania which i read and i was like i'll be the judge of that and uh started playing it really dug it but it didn't feel as much like celeste as it does like megaman with like more platformy kind of things going on but then also yeah the metroidvania style of like map design that's one that i'm really interested to see like as we move forward as it gets closer kevin's bringing up gameplay of it 2d pixel art right like i think that's kind of where the celeste kind of vibe comes in because you can see the character kind of like zooming back and forth because they have so many abilities in this game like the whole first level that i played during this demo is them being like all right you can do this here's a running ability that'll like give you a running start when you do a jump and it'll launch you all right now you can press y to then do like your melee but if you're in the air it'll do like a melee dash or whatever there's so many mechanics and it does feel good to play i really i really like the way it looks i really yeah i love the way it looks right and i even love how the menus look in this game um like the starting menu in this game was like feels like it was they spent a lot of time making sure that like your first impression is going to be a nice art piece of hey this starting menu is fucking beautiful um but yeah really enjoyed my time with this game and then i played a game called croak
25:41Andy Robinson:have you heard of croak i have not it sounds frog related it is frog related i think frogs
25:47Greg Miller:are big right now i mean listen if that's the case croak is about to go crazy because croak is the celeste like oh okay funny enough the art style though kind of reminds me a little bit of a cuphead as far as okay it being more of like an animation like 2d animation kind of thing looks kind of like a cartoon um but the gameplay is so like tight 2d platforming you gotta be precise you want to collect all the coins that are in a level if you're going to like 100 % the game but it's like Celeste where if you remember in Celeste you get the strawberry you get to land with it in order to collect it same thing with the coins in this game and so you have all these optional smaller challenges but and the way that in Celeste the dash is like your main mechanic that everything kind of works around here the main mechanic is the frog that you're playing as using his tongue
26:38Blessing Adeoye Jr.:to like zip towards things and when you hit off of off of a wall it'll then launch you the opposite
26:45Greg Miller:way which is really crazy in action but leads to really fun and really cool platforming sections where i'm like all right jump off turn around tongue the wall like launch off the wall to get to the other side of the thing and i feel like the coolest person ever whenever i i'm able to
27:00Andy Robinson:pull it off it looks cool i love the way the little frog is animated like he's just like walking around little jolly guy um someone mentioned dosa divas i was looking at that one and then there i was there was someone who i was watching neo aoshi neo aoshi stream last night and someone came in it was a solo dev who showed hordes of the viscount i think is that's what it's called someone correct me in the chat if you remember it it looked really cool it's like a
27:31Greg Miller:game boy sort of metroidvania thing as well okay hell yeah um bringing in some more super chats
27:39Blessing Adeoye Jr.:joshy frog writes in and just says frogs frogs uh emory games writes in it says i'll take your gta season and raise you grand theft autumn grand theft autumn is amazing really good fallout boy kind of i think already took that ah i see i see i see um let's see the right hidalgo
27:57Andy Robinson:says check out hordes of this count yeah that's what the the hordes of viscount yeah uh or viscount
28:03Blessing Adeoye Jr.:i see and then mr hawk says the gamers are always proud to see madeline on kf remember it's just a prank hand it's just a prank hand oh that's um until not yes god that was such a good stream oh it was so fun and then joshua bowen 7000 writes in and says as someone who rolled credits on burning shores last night this might be a hot take but i'm very disappointed the next horizon game is a night rain-esque multiplayer game i understand that yeah i think like i'm i'm gonna try and stop
28:34Greg Miller:referencing the ship of theseus because i over i over reference it but what i will say to joshua is that i understand the feeling of hey i'm in this franchise because i like the single player action adventure game where i'm bow and arrowing and doing the stuff and then you go and make a game that is that looks and is completely different why does this have the same name to it like i that's the thing that will always confuse me about when you're franchising games and trying to speak to the same audience what about horizon hunters gathering is speaking to horizon fans like are you are we getting that conversion rate that we want you know what i mean um so i totally i totally understand that that said i'm still curious about it i'm looking forward to trying
29:16Blessing Adeoye Jr.:it out i hope it's good because i'm i'm somebody who liked night rain and i'm somebody who likes
29:20Andy Robinson:horizon so yeah i think for me the difference is like if that's something that the devs are excited about doing because i think sometimes you do the same thing over and you're like i want to try something new versus like being mandated to make something else yeah you know like if it if you're an artist and you're making something the same way for a long time sometimes you might want to switch it up see what else you can kind of do with your same toolbox if that's what they're excited about then i'll be excited about playing it versus coming from top down being like you got to make a multiplayer game like then you can really feel that in the game itself i think exactly somebody
29:55Greg Miller:says that's not the ship of theseus that's what that's because i was trying to do something that wasn't i was trying to separate from the ship of theseus i understand that it is like actually i'm not going to explain it because then i'll get i'll actually get it wrong um madeline yeah we're

31:06Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Blizzard reveals Overwatch Rush. This is from the Overwatch Rush team over at news.blizzard.com. Welcome heroes! We've got something new to share. While it's still early days, we want to share updates on our progress throughout the development process. Today, we're introducing Overwatch Rush, a new top-down hero shooter designed specifically for mobile set in the Overwatch universe. Overwatch Rush is being developed by a dedicated team at Blizzard, separate from Team 4, all of whom have deep mobile experience. Team 4 remains fully focused on Overwatch, which will continue to bring exciting and fresh new experiences for PC and console players in its recently launched Season 1 and beyond.
31:49Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Overwatch Rush is an entirely new game, not a port, built specifically for mobile players. As we report for testing Overwatch Rush in select countries and regions, or sorry, as we prepare for testing Overwatch Rush in select countries and regions, check out our official Discord server for updates on the game. While there remains a lot of work to do, we're eager to see how players enjoy what we've built so far and to hear from them on what we should focus on in the upcoming phases of development our mission is to continue to expand the overwatch universe by bringing fresh new adventures to players across all platforms we'll continue to keep you updated on how things are progressing madeline as we look at the gameplay here of overwatch rush does this entice you does this do anything for you oh blessing
32:40Greg Miller:um nicely no yeah are you an overwatch person i'm not i'm curious as someone because you've
32:47Andy Robinson:kind of recently gotten back into overwatch proper we we took the two away from overwatch everyone's kind of getting back into it yeah like are you in an overwatch mood where you're like okay i'm like i want to take in all of the overwatch things i want to give this a try or you're like i have my overwatch i don't need another mobile overwatch i look at the gameplay
33:06Blessing Adeoye Jr.:play for this and i also nicely go this is not for me i don't think it looks bad though i look at this and i'm like i think they've translated the overwatch art style really well to this top down thing i'm looking at this and mechanically like i love seeing the different heroes still maintain their things like we're looking at reinhardt reinhardt is using his big shield um you have you had mercy that was healing him before you got soldier 76 doing his thing right like reaper's there with his two like um dual hand shotguns like doing his thing like everybody all the characters here and all the gameplay here looks very much like overwatch you know but just in this top down mobile form and i'm not mad at it like if you're going to adapt something to a different
33:52Greg Miller:platform make it make sense for that platform yeah totally yeah so like if over if traditional
33:57Blessing Adeoye Jr.:overwatch doesn't work for mobile make a mobile version of it if you're really trying to get into that market and honestly i don't think i don't think it looks bad i'm not gonna play it though
34:04Andy Robinson:no yeah i don't i don't think it looks bad either it just looks so not my type of game but i do think there is a big segment of people who are primarily mobile game users and this might really speak to them especially you know we talk about consoles being really expensive pcs being really expensive lots of people have phones lots of people want to be gaming on their phones like it's interesting i'm glad they're saying it's not a port it's something we made specifically for mobile yeah um and hopefully they put a lot of care into bringing the sort of feel of overwatch
34:36Greg Miller:to a mobile platform and it's they they're calling out here this is separate from team four which is the team that works on overwatch this is a you know a different team that has that mobile expertise as you're talking about and we want to make something that is specific to the platform so i think that's a good call and honestly the more we watch this the more i'm like damn this is just
34:55Blessing Adeoye Jr.:straight up just overwatch it's just top down overwatch which is a thing that i didn't even think could work in the way that it looks like it is working um so good for them the only other
35:04Greg Miller:thing i'll say is that it reminds me so much of the viral moment where it was a diablo that they were taking the mobile i was thinking the same thing and everybody at blizzcon was up in arms
35:15Andy Robinson:about it and then like what you don't have phones yeah what you don't have phones quote is the thing
35:20Blessing Adeoye Jr.:that like rings in my brain as i look at this gameplay but like you know this could be i mean We're almost at April, so this could be just not a season, April Fool's, Joe.
35:27Andy Robinson:And I do think, too, actually, that's a really good point, though, right? Because if I remember correctly, when that was happening, people were waiting for a new Diablo launch. Like, they were on bated breath waiting for something new, and what they got was a mobile game. I think this is a great time to launch this because you just got a bunch of new proper Overwatch stuff. Yeah. Everyone's really excited. They just got what they were asking for. Like, Overwatch as a game has been refreshed. People are back in. And then you get this addendum. of the mobile game, not a mobile game. Instead, like imagine if this had come out and we hadn't had all of this new Overwatch stuff.
36:01Andy Robinson:I think the response would be a lot different.
36:03Greg Miller:1 ,000%. I think that's a really good call. I feel like this is an example of seeing a company or a team learn in real time and be like, ah, shit, let's not do that again. Like if we're going to announce a mobile thing, yeah, make sure it comes right after. We do the things that people want with the proper main thing. So very excited to see how this shape's up. I'm excited to see people take to it. If this blows up, maybe then I'll give it a shot.
36:24Andy Robinson:Yeah.
36:25Greg Miller:I don't have a need in my heart for a mobile Overwatch, but I'm saying this right now as somebody who has just not tried this. But, like, you know, if it comes out and people are like, yo, it's kind of nice. We'll see. We'll see.
36:38Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Let's move on to story number three. Amazon is shutting down another game. Former Lionhead devs King of Meat. This is coming from Andy Robinson at Video Games Chronicle. king of meat the party platformer published by amazon is set to shut down six months after it launched developed by uk-based glow made which was founded by former lionhead members the co-op platformer launched for consoles and pc in october as a premium game but seemingly struggled to find an audience with steam concurrence peaking at less than a few hundred players on monday amazon games confirmed that king of meat will shut down in april with all players able to receive a refund for their purchases.
37:19Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Quote, Despite the creativity and innovation GloMade brought to King of Meat, the game has unfortunately not found the audience we hoped for, it said. As a result, we have made the difficult decision to conclude our investment in the game, and King of Meat's servers will close on April 9th, 2026. Quote, Players will be able to access and play all existing content until then, so we encourage you to enjoy your remaining time in the game with your fellow contenders. End quote. all players who purchased king of meat will receive a full refund in the coming weeks from
37:52Greg Miller:their platform provider amazon said this is a crazy one because i recall so vividly this launching in october and feeling like it came out of nowhere like one day mike just came in the studio talking about king of meat and i think mr beast in relation to it i forget what the what the mr beast connection is but i'm pretty sure there's like a content creator like big connection here but Mike was all about it talking all about it and then I feel like I didn't hear anything about it the next week and forgot it existed until today when this news popped up um it's always crazy to see a game launch in October and then in about what six months turn around and shut down
38:33Andy Robinson:like this yeah it's so sad I have never heard of this game which um is unfortunate because it does look very very cool but it is so sad that you know we know that the threshold for success is a lot higher than than we would like it to be necessarily um there i think what did it say like less than a few hundred concurrent players like that's really disappointing because they obviously created something kind of interesting but it takes a lot more than that to make it yeah and i i think this
39:08Greg Miller:is one thing we talk about often is the amount of games that come out the amount of like time and attention that these games ask for and the amount that's not available from people because you're not only competing against other games that are coming out you're competing against other forms of entertainment or other things like tick tock or you know like i was a fortnight but yeah like all these basically there are so many things that are taking away our attention um and these games are fighting for that and so when you're something that's multiplayer and you want to have a certain amount of concurrence yeah like competition right now is so huge because we read we quote the article all the time of i think it was games industry.biz that was talking about how when you look at the top games being played they're all over six years old right like the top games being played right now are not games that are coming out in 2026 well and it's the
40:00Andy Robinson:same i think when you look year over year it's the same games that are making the top list right it's always fortnight call of duty yeah um i think maybe valorant yeah like it's it's the heavy legends and as we just saw with high guard which was you know more successful than this game that didn't that that didn't hit either yeah and it's such a competition i think especially with multiplayer you're not only asking for the time and attention but you're asking for a group of people's time and attention like within within a solo indie game you know you can download it from steam a demo or whatever play it on your own but with something like this it's like okay well you also need other people to play with you yeah and with how limited attention is across multiple people that that window becomes even smaller yeah right and people are throwing
40:52Greg Miller:out the other big games right you have counter-strike you have roblox in there and they're these same names of games that we've heard about for the last decade but they have this chokehold on those player numbers and where people's attentions are going um and you mentioned high guard earlier and like i read a story like this and i'm like you know like yeah i'm scared for the other games that come out the new multiplayer games where it's like all right well your time is coming you know like even for marathon which i've been talking highly about as far as what the it feels like the vibes are on marathon it feels like we're up compared to where we were this time last year even with that i'm like yeah but is that going to translate when the thing is actually out you know what i mean like is that going to still get them the player numbers that they are looking for when we're looking at these games come and go obviously king king of meat and high guard are different from the amount of hype that's for marathon right now but even still like we see games that come out and are good we see games that come out and are promising that still get lost in the ether because there's so much to play right now yeah let's move on to some breaking news this comes from deadline written by rosie cordero ed screen is to play
42:03Blessing Adeoye Jr.:balder in prime videos god of war um i gotta close all these pop-ups that are coming through from writer showrunner and executive producer ronald d moore who did outlander and for all mankind god of war follows a father and son uh kratos and 10 year old atreus as they embark on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother fey through their adventures kratos tries to teach his son to be a better god while atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better human let me jump back in the article because as i was closing the ad i realized i jumped in the middle of the article ed screen who you know from jurassic world rebirth is the latest actor to join the cast of prime videos god of war sony pictures television and amazon mgm studios tv adaptation of playstation's ancient mythology themed video game screen will play balder who may be the youngest son of odin uh played by mandy uh pentakin but patinkin thank you but he is his father's most dangerous weapon charismatic unpredictable unpredictable and armed with a razor sharp tongue balder lives by his own rules as a boy as a boy i love the idea that balder
43:05Greg Miller:lives by his own rules it sounds like you're like introducing like a fucking jackass character you
43:09Blessing Adeoye Jr.:know as a boy balder was cursed this curse denied him the ability to feel pleasure and physical sensation this fuels an insatiable anger and bloodlust in balder who favors a brawling fighting style that blends his immense power with the raw impact of his fists above all else he longs for an opponent that can truly match his prowess in battle an opponent that can finally make him feel something can i see a picture of this man yeah this is what he looks like so imagine this man i guess like can we see a picture of balder from god of war damn damn that's a okay percent water body that man is dehydrated okay oh from game of thrones i recognize him more than from jurassic world rebirth interesting yeah i what does the character look like again i mean honestly not far off i really i mean yeah uh balder is the character
44:06Blessing Adeoye Jr.:kevin's bringing it up
44:09Greg Miller:i mean he's a norse man he's a skinny he's a skinny white norse man with also like when you talk about the that man's not been drinking water like it's that kind of build also this man is not hydrated oh yes that is a good casting exactly right like i think the only thing you're looking for there is the beard which you can make work yeah he can grow a beard man that i'm just thinking
44:34Andy Robinson:about the makeup for this this for the show like those makeup artists are gonna be they've got their work cut out from them all these like runes and tattoos that they all have all over their
44:44Greg Miller:bodies but i feel like this is like a fun one like if you're a makeup artist i feel like this is almost like a dream job where you get to look at like these mythical men and mythical characters and go all right how do we translate all of these markings all this weird shit how do we make a kratos yeah with like ash and like the mark like the fucking um spartan markings and all this stuff
45:04Andy Robinson:that's good it seems like a lot of their castings have been really spot on i'm really excited for the actor who's playing kratos was um from sons of anarchy yeah and i loved sons of anarchy so
45:13Greg Miller:and we're gonna see we're gonna see probably an episode either one or two this man ed screen fight that dude from sons of anarchy and they're gonna have a superhero fight that's gonna be
45:24Blessing Adeoye Jr.:fucking sick that's gonna be sick hell yeah all right let's move on to actual story number four simpsons hit and run in prototype studio radical entertainment is back as new radical games This is Chris Skolian at Video Games Chronicle. The studio behind such titles as The Simpsons Hit and Run and Prototype has returned under a new name. New Radical Games describes itself as Radical Entertainment plus Hothead Games, implying that the new company is a successor to both defunct studios. Radical Entertainment was founded in 1991 in Vancouver and was acquired by Vivendi in 2005, then by Activision in 2008.
45:58Blessing Adeoye Jr.:By the end of 2013, the studio had essentially closed in all but name, with the Canadian government dissolving its incorporated status and the few remaining staff assisting on other Activision projects. Hothead Games was a Vancouver-based studio which developed such titles as Penny Arcade Adventures and Deathspank before moving on to mobile games. It went bankrupt in late 2024. Now, however, both studios appear to have been resurrected as New Radical Games with Ian Wilkinson as CEO and President and Tim Benison as COO. Wilkinson was one of Radical Entertainment's co-founders. After the company was sold to Vivendi, he left Radical in 2008 and moved to Hothead, where he served as the studio's president for the next 16 years.
46:40Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Benison was previously COO and studio director at Capcom Vancouver, then joined Hothead in 2020 to serve as its COO. Although Wilkinson's LinkedIn page states that he started as CEO and president of New Radical Games in December 2024, around the same time as Hothead Games went bankrupt, the studio's website appears to have only recently gone live. The site says the studio is open for work for higher full game development on mobile or console games. It also says it's willing to co-develop with another studio or to handle porting or remastering of an existing title. As well as the Simpsons hit and run and prototype, Radical Entertainment's other previous titles include The Incredible Hulk, Ultimate Destruction, Scarface, The World is Yours, Crash Tag Team Racing, and the NES version of Wayne's World.
47:23Blessing Adeoye Jr.:That's a crazy catalog.
47:24Andy Robinson:what an interesting collection of games that's such an insane catalog i think the only ones
47:29Blessing Adeoye Jr.:are those that i've played are simpsons hit and run um oh i guess i played crash tag team racing yeah actually no which one was nitro fueled do you remember i don't i played one on i think it
47:41Greg Miller:was either gamecube or xbox but i feel like it was nitro fueled yeah i also i'm thinking that's
47:47Andy Robinson:the one i also played and which is not the tag team racing one yeah but also funny enough i also played scarface the world is yours you did which was like kind of like a vice city clone
47:57Greg Miller:ish kind of game it was all right it didn't like set my world on fire or whatever but again a weird catalog of games also an interesting journey through these different studios opening and shutting down and this guy just being like i'm gonna keep i'm gonna keep doing it i'm gonna
48:12Andy Robinson:open another one and it's gonna be the successor yeah i love the well first of all i love calling it new radical like i think that's a that's a great sort of um reimagining of your old stuff but what a what a persistence of being like gaming is my passion making games my passion like i will figure out how to do it no matter if i have to beg borrow steal create how many studios i need to make i'm gonna game and i'm gonna make games for you guys and i love the idea of like i yeah
48:42Greg Miller:i'm making games my passion i'm gonna make it happen no matter what and listen i'll co-develop all with another studio i'll remaster an existing title like let let us do anything which honestly for the ecosystem that we're in right now a games business not a bad call no make yourself available
48:58Andy Robinson:you also don't get things that you don't ask for so like him putting this out there there might be another studio that's looking for partnership that's like oh shit okay we didn't know that these these group of people were out there let's partner on something or there might be an existing ip that's looking for someone to make something unique in it i think putting things out into the world is the best way to get something no one's going to give you something you didn't ask for for the most part so ask for it and see what happens 1000 also the game i was thinking of is crash nitro cart that's the one i played yeah i think that's when i played as well um madeline
49:34Greg Miller:we'll see if the studio ends up doing big big things like a successor to simpsons hit and run That'd be huge.
49:41Andy Robinson:That would be huge.
49:42Greg Miller:Probably not going to happen, but it'd be huge. If I wanted something smaller, though, say the tiniest news I needed to know about, where would I go?
49:48Andy Robinson:You'd go to our last story, the We News channel, where we cover all the small items you need to know about.
49:54Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Story number five is We News. Mouse PI for hire has been delayed to April 16th, 2026.
50:02Andy Robinson:Dad, I really want to play that.
50:03Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah, I'm looking forward to that. That's about a month, and so not a crazy delay. Not a crazy delay, yeah. Yeah. Horizon Hunters Gathering, as I mentioned before, is having a closed beta test set for February 27th through March 1st. From VGC, the director behind the Kingdom Come Deliverance games, Daniel Vavra, is stepping away from game development developer Warhorse Studios has announced. Interesting.
50:24Greg Miller:Very interesting. I wonder what the story is there. I feel like there's a story.
50:28Andy Robinson:I might be speaking out of turn here. Was that the person who was subtweeting during the Game Awards about...
50:36Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Oh, that's a good question.
50:37Andy Robinson:About Kingdom Come Deliverance not winning. I'm curious.
50:40Blessing Adeoye Jr.:That's a really good question. I'm just going to type in, I'm going to type in Daniel Vavra controversy.
50:45Andy Robinson:And see what happens. Oh,
50:48Blessing Adeoye Jr.:interesting. I don't know if we got the time to get into this one.
50:51Andy Robinson:Let's go on to the next one.
50:53Blessing Adeoye Jr.:From VGC, Crafton, the South Korean publisher behind such titles as PUBG, Subnautica, and Hi-Fi Rush, has created a new executive role designed to further its AI-first strategy. uh kong wuk li who has served as crafton's head of ai since 2022 has been promoted to chief ai officer caio's we're not doing that we can't be doing that a new executive role designed to oversee the company's ai r &d and mid to long-term innovation strategy yuck boo earns to that from vgc one of the cinematic animators who worked on the award-winning claire obscure expedition 33 has now joined CD Projekt Red.
51:33Andy Robinson:Oh, interesting.
51:35Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Lucy Hennett worked at Sandfall Interactive from May 2023 to the end of 2024 as a cinematic animator where she refined the raw motion capture by improving the body and facial animations. And then finally, Fields of Mysteria fourth major update has been announced. You're getting Ruins Biome, a conclusion of some quest lines, new secret Bachelorette, Lost and Found Box has been added to the game, and Terrariums have been added. Fun.
52:01Andy Robinson:I played Fields of Mysteria, I think, when it was still in the beta a while back. And I really liked it, but I didn't end up sticking with it for very long.
52:10Greg Miller:I feel like Andy was the person who I heard talk about Fields of Mysteria the most, but I've not checked in with him to see if he's still logging in every day, you know, talking to his girlfriends in there. I don't know what you do in that game.
52:22Andy Robinson:It's like Stardew-esque.
52:24Greg Miller:Yeah, but ask me what you do in Stardew.
52:26Andy Robinson:Yeah, you farm, you fish.
52:28Greg Miller:You farm, you fish. You explore.
52:30Andy Robinson:you hang out in the community yeah give people gifts i feel like most of what i know of stardew
52:34Greg Miller:and fields of mystery is talking to baddies i feel like it's all i hear from these games like oh yeah i married somebody yesterday and i'm like don't you farm like what about your crops go tend to your crops your crops are dying over here marrying figure out your tomatoes and that's
52:49Blessing Adeoye Jr.:it for we news uh before we get out of here let's hop back into super chats see what people are saying uh street shadow 20 says on the topic of wolverine's release date announcement didn't the yote date reveal get announced the same way just a blog post oh i don't know i don't remember let's type in ghost of yote release date let's do trailer let's see if they had a release date trailer and they have an announced trailer ghost of yote gets a release date this is from vice on the 23rd yeah it looks like it might have been random i think it was a place oh actually i'm
53:28Greg Miller:vaguely remembering it now because it might have been a playstation blog with like a bunch more details about what you can do in the game so yeah maybe this is their mo they're just like here you go yeah we're like we don't feel pressure to put to announce a release date in a showcase like we'll just announce it when we're ready to do it i think that makes sense honestly like i don't think that's a crazy thing i think release date is like such a sensitive and such a i guess like particular thing when you're talking about how you land on it and like maybe even the timing of when you want to put it out there that it doesn't surprise me that for a company like playstation they're like hey we don't always align um the stars don't always align for us as far as announcing our release dates in february or may like sometimes we just got to announce them at the end of february or like in April or something.
54:18Andy Robinson:Well, and I think like you mentioned earlier, I would rather them throw it out randomly and be confident about the date than announce a date too early and then have to move it, right?
54:27Greg Miller:Exactly. And I think PlayStation has been better about that. It's been like the last, I'll even say in the last generation, I feel like they announced dates way closer to -
54:35Andy Robinson:Yeah, and maybe that's part of the approach, right? It's just like, okay, well, we're not going to put them in the showcases because we want to be confident on those dates. We'll just do it when we're ready.
54:43Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Clawmaster underscore says, late wee news ad here. ed boon ed boon hold on ed boon on was hinting i'm reading this verbatim ed boon on was hinting uh at a possible idea that he might be working on a new killer instinct okay that's not we news that's such a first of all i don't believe it second of all like him just saying a thing in passive you got to give me a link or something if you're gonna come in with we news link me
55:09Andy Robinson:because i want to i want more proof there i'd love to work on until dawn too so put that in
55:14Blessing Adeoye Jr.:the wee news oh shit we got we knew we got a super chat in coming in madeline's gonna work on it so don't do that's cool that's pretty sick congratulations thank you uh we got one from only special features it says i'm excited for the god of war show loved ronald moore's outlander which is just horny assassin's creed i think he'll nail god of war cool um we got one from gato poppy underscore he says birthday tax been listening for a little over a year and loving the content thanks for the hard work yes bless the guns looking good today thank you so much gato poppy happy birthday happy birthday gato poppy shark 89 says with all the games and studios shutting down i want to shout out apex rush a stunting slash a stunting slash racing game developed and released last week by youtuber gta stunter hazardous hold on kevin can we look up apex rush because i want to see this because hazardous yeah is a youtube video youtube video yeah apex apex rush apex rush it's apparently a new racing game and stunt game because i want to say
56:18Greg Miller:i used to watch hazardous videos i used to have an era where i was super into just watching people do stunts in gta yeah this is who come on come on you think it's this one yeah that looks like it yeah this this this for sure is it you want audio sure yeah put on audio whoa hold on i kind of messed with this yeah for audio listeners i mean it's a stunt driving game art style is a little bit more colorful than you than you'd imagine almost
56:47Blessing Adeoye Jr.:has like an arcadey yeah kind of feel environments look a little bit fortnighty but like
56:53Greg Miller:but like not in like a bad way what's that one game that like we liked the hot wheels one yeah It looks like that, but not as pretty. Hold on. I fuck with this.
57:07Blessing Adeoye Jr.:This looks cool. Somebody in chat says Trackmania, and I think that's such a good one. Shout out. I used to love playing Trackmania, and this for sure gives you Trackmania vibes, because there's no rhyme or reason to how the platforms and the roads are set out. You just have stuff that's floating in air, and the car's jumping from track to track. That gives Super Trackmania vibes, and it's out February 19th. So that's last week.
57:32Andy Robinson:It's out.
57:33Blessing Adeoye Jr.:It's out. Yeah, I'm checking that out later. Apex Rush.
57:37Andy Robinson:Clear blessings afternoon.
57:39Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Clear my afternoon. I'm going to cancel my dentist appointment that I have this afternoon. Jameson Peters says, Bless, you had a great call out on last Friday's show, and I completely forgot what it was. But props to the thing you said that I cannot remember.
57:54Andy Robinson:Yeah, props, blessing. All right.
57:56Greg Miller:Thank you so much, Jason.
57:57Andy Robinson:Jameson Peters, 11.
57:59Greg Miller:i'm sure not much was said on friday so i should be able to recall it just like six hours of
58:05Blessing Adeoye Jr.:talking six hours of talking non-stop about very major video game news um keegan hill writes in and says my first ever super chat is for you madeline you're amazing thank you keegan you're amazing then mob acts you says honestly hope gta 6 gets delayed not a rockstar games fan if it releases this year i'll just catch up on my backlog of games that comes out this year come on that's some hater ass shit right there i would also say you don't want it to delay because
58:32Andy Robinson:every other game that you do like is betting on it coming out at that time yeah so that would mess up all of the other games that you actually like and screw with their whole period so we want it to release when it is supposed to so that the other game devs can make their plans accordingly 100
58:49Greg Miller:also just catch up on your backlog what's wrong with your back like you know nobody's forcing you play gta so like yeah i wish i had more time to catch up on my backlog yeah me too there's too
58:58Blessing Adeoye Jr.:many games way too many games um alva 7996 says is xbox a ship of theseus plus if you ask me
59:07Greg Miller:everything's because like because the way i would look at it right if i'm using the my definition that's in my brain that may have changed over time who knows is my definition
59:18Blessing Adeoye Jr.:of ship of theseus a ship of theseus because it's not the same thing anymore think about it
59:22Andy Robinson:That's real. That's real shit. Think about it.
59:25Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Silver J. Hawkins writes in and says, my top two Next Fest demos so far are Vampire Crawler and Everything is a Crab.
59:32Greg Miller:Now, do you want to hear my hot take?
59:33Andy Robinson:Yes.
59:34Greg Miller:When I said that I played a demo that I didn't enjoy, it was Vampire Crawlers. Oh. Which is crazy because I love a card game. I love a card roguelite, you know? Like, Vampire Crawlers, in theory, should be my exact kind of game. But I think it made me realize that... the reason i didn't get into vampire survivors and the reason why i'm not digging vampire crawlers also is just that i just don't like looking at it and i know that's with intention like the art style that they have for those games is very much with intention but it just does not work for me especially with vampire crawlers where that game after a few runs or not because i actually i didn't really get multiple runs into that game after half a run i'll say was feeling like a casino know with the amount of like bells and dings and like you unlock the chest and the chest goes crazy and all this shit it was making my brain unhappy it was just too overstimulating i don't want to
1:00:27Andy Robinson:be in a slot machine-esque series where there's yeah yeah everything and it's that with an art style that is like purposely a little bit ugly and just a lot it's just a lot happening in that
1:00:40Blessing Adeoye Jr.:game i was not enjoying my time with it i think aesthetics are an important part of a game and
1:00:45Andy Robinson:if you're not vibing with it then there's so many games that you can play that you do vibe exactly
1:00:51Blessing Adeoye Jr.:um let's see if we have one more super chat in here no i think that's it for super chats let's get into kind of funny.com slash you're wrong where you write in let us know what we got wrong as we got it wrong so you can correct it for those watching later on youtube and listening later on podcast services around the globe kebabs writes in with a history of crash cart racing sequels so we have crash nitro cart in 2003 crash tag team racing in 2005 and then crash team racing nitro field which was 2019 so there's more context for you and kebabs is the crash bandicoot
1:01:24Greg Miller:guru i believe so yes and ratchet i think i think kebabs loves ratchet kebabs let me know i know kebabs loves crash or is it sly cooper kebabs likes another platformer
1:01:38Blessing Adeoye Jr.:um let's see here here we go i like this one from ejrpg who says the king of meat devs paid mr beast to host a tournament for the game having 32 other creators in a custom built stage to play for 250 000 prize all paid for by the devs that's listen i respect the effort of like
1:01:59Greg Miller:we got to get this game in front of people's eyes who do we call mr beast at the same time
1:02:05Andy Robinson:that seems so expensive i was thinking the same thing like how much money did they that must have
1:02:10Greg Miller:been a lot of money a lot of money unless mr beast had i mean from the super chat doesn't sound like it but unless mr beast had some sort of stake or something but yeah that's kind of crazy
1:02:21Andy Robinson:and it's like not a good return on your investment there which is unfortunate because i'm sure they were hoping like oh well if we get this in front of the biggest youtuber in the world and a bunch of other creators like that will get people excited and obviously it did not work the way
1:02:36Greg Miller:it was supposed to 100 madeline that brings us to the end of kind of funny games daily a wonderful
1:02:42Andy Robinson:time hosting with you thank you i had a great time hosting with you too bless remind people
1:02:47Greg Miller:out there where can they find you they want to see more madeline yeah if you want to see more of me

1:03:01Greg Miller:Oh yeah, your favorite Pokemon?
1:03:05Andy Robinson:My favorite Pokemon by far
