Notable examples
Mike’s Switch 2 accessory preorders (Genki sling bag and hand grip/travel case); Battlefield 2042’s troubled launch and EA’s “100 million players” investor-call goal; predictions mentioned include Pokémon Unite PC/mobile, deeper Pokémon Champions coverage, and possible Gen 10 tease.

It could be chronic migraine, 15 or more headache days a month, each lasting four hours or more. Botox, Autobotulinum Toxin A, prevents headaches in adults with chronic migraine. It's not for those who have 14 or fewer headache days a month. Prescription Botox is injected by your doctor. Effects of Botox may spread hours to weeks after injection, causing serious symptoms. Alert your doctor right away, as difficulty swallowing, speaking, breathing, eye problems, or muscle weakness can be signs of a life-threatening condition.
1:58Patients with these conditions before injection are at highest risk. Side effects may include allergic reactions, neck and injection site pain, fatigue, and headache. Allergic reactions can include rash, welts, asthma symptoms, and dizziness. Don't receive Botox if there's a skin infection. Tell your doctor your medical history, muscle or nerve conditions, including ALS Lou Gehrig's disease, myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome, and medications, including botulinum toxins, as these may increase the risk of serious side effects. 2:30Today's stories include our predictions for tomorrow's Pokemon Presents, Battlefield 6's official title might have been leaked, and a big update for Xbox Cloud Games. We'll have all this and more because this is Kind of Funny Games Daily.
2:50Good morning, gamers. Welcome to Kind of Funny Games Daily for Monday. July 21st, 2025. I'm Andy, and I'm joined by Snowbike Mike. Good morning, Andy. Happy Monday. How are you today? I'm doing fantastic, Mike. You know, couldn't help but notice a lot of unaccounted four hours this weekend. Andy, I took my beautiful talents up to South Lake Tahoe, jumped in the water, played some Donkey Kong on the Switch, you know, still waiting on my Switch 2 accessories. Bought some bags, bought some travel goodies. From where? Genki. Oh, yeah, yeah, okay. You know, Beat 'em Ups had a big Nintendo Switch 2.
3:29Here's all the accessories at launch video. And I was influenced to go and buy. Purchased them. They have not arrived yet. When did you buy them? Yeah, about a month ago. That's not great. Well, you know, I don't have the travel. I don't have the tracking information either. Was it on your seventh email that you don't? You know, I don't remember which email it was. But here's the thing is I ordered a sweet bag. and then the other travel accessory, which is the hand grip with the cool travel cover. That was a pre-order until July. So I'm wondering if they're just sending both of them at the same time, but it's also, you know, almost through July, but I'm not worried about it.
4:07Don't be worried about it. If I were to ask you, can you, like, can you identify what these products are? Would you even be able to do that? Yes, it was a sick green cinch bag, travel bag, super sick. And that was, they were all ganky. Go to Switch 2 Accessories You're not on the Switch 2 Accessories It's easier if you just go there They got a sick sling bag You'll see on that one That one in green, super cool Real stylish, cyberpunk ass And then on top of that, if you go up You'll see the hand grip up there Then you go hand grip right there I think if you click on that, there should be an option To pre-order with the travel case And that said pre-order until July But like, you know July 21st I have pre-ordered things from other like different gaming sites and then ordered stuff that was already out alongside with them.
4:56And I have had that experience where they don't ship everything until the pre-order item is ready. So that might be your case, Mike, but also maybe figure out which email you ordered. Yeah. Send Nuggies says, damn, since bags in 2025, not that cool. Andy, how cool is that bag though? You said it was cyberpunk. It just kind of looks like a bag. I mean, go down to the green one. Then look at the, look at the team photos though. Look at the team photos of the kids wearing it Oh okay let me see Pretty cool vibes Well you say I mean the bag doesn't really look cyberpunk But can you send to Assets The link to the bag Here's the thing he says the bag Is like very cyberpunk looking But I think it's just because It's really just because of the photo Of these two people along with The girl with the blue hair And they're standing in front of a Kind of maybe you could call it Outer space window.
5:47Yeah. Like, the bag does not look cyberpunk, though. It just looks like a bag. But, like, you know, on top of the bag, I also bought some other stuff, Andy. I bought some water shoes I'm very excited about. You know, I'm sick of stepping on. Is that where their toes are separate? No. I mean, you could get toe shoes. But, no, I just got, like, normal kids' water shoes back in the day that you'd wear. Because I'm sick of stepping on rocks. Because I like to climb on rocks and jump off of them into the lake. Oh, okay. And I don't like using just my toes. Got a lot of cuts on my toes. You ever get rocks stuck in your feet?
6:16See, look at that cool bag It just looks like a bag I wouldn't even call them cyberpunk looking Well, I mean, he's got a bandana He's got some eye shadow She's got blue hair It's a very cyberpunk vibe A window full of newspapers It's a very run down, Night City look You know what I mean? Cyberpunk looking bag So I bought it, I was influenced Also, I bought water shoes I bought another Xbox power cord you're probably saying yourself somebody like why would you buy another xbox power cord you have plenty of those on the travel on the travel oh so i got back to my x screen this week and i left a cord up in tahoe want to have one more cord in the bag so i can use that x screen anywhere that's lovely shout out um well as far as your purchases go you know i've been all in the physical switch games i noticed that me and roger were talking about in love and physical i just love i've always love the boxes yeah and i want to just collect my favorite little indies but of course i gotta buy the ones that are near and dear to my heart the ones that you know kind of kind of like you know formulate who i am as a person mario maker 2 was one of them i saw that and so i got that sucker over the weekend really pumped about that uh and i have going to local game shops for those uh no the mart the super mario maker 2 was just best buy okay bought that Sucker from Best Buy, yeah.
7:35That's cool. Just to show them, like, a couple more purchases, and maybe we'll continue doing these physical. Hold on to them. Yeah, you might be the only one. Yeah, yeah, you're doing it. 8:08Reminder, we're an 11-person business, all about live talk shows. Today, after Kind of Funny Games Daily, you're going to get the Gamescast with the crew talking about their most anticipated games for the rest of 2025. Mike, you said you have a little nice list being formulated? Yeah, I got some OLIs. I got a top five. Went through all the releases on GameSpot's calendar. Went into Steam as well. Saw some naughty games on Steam. They haven't quite cracked down on those yet, but they're still out there. They'll get to them eventually. And after the Gamescast is the kind of funny podcast, followed by a stream of RoboCop Rogue City Unfinished Business.
8:43I don't really understand this. Is this a standalone DLC? Standalone DLC. Yeah, it's supposed to be like a challenge tower. Like there's some sort of tower you're going to go up, and you're going to go level by level. It's supposed to be cool. At what point are we just calling that a new game? I don't know. I mean, while it's standalone, standalone you can i guess you can consider it a new game sequel like 1.5 can you so you could it's standalone you can play without the core robocop game yeah okay you play this game jet you like robocop i saw i mean i streamed with nick one time as he played it it looks fantastic pretty good the game looks so gorgeous one of them unreal engine games but and it's just got that sort of fun tank vibe where you're not you're kind of like unkillable you're just walking through rooms just shooting off heads and dicks, you know, because you could shoot people in the nuts like a Robocop did.
9:34Nice little homage. If you're a kind of funny member, today's Greg weighs nearly 20 minutes on Greg, Ben, and Poe's weekend with Donkey Kong Bonanza and some light funeral planning. Oh. What a mix. What? Did we miss something? Here's Donkey Kong Bonanza. We're also attending a funeral. Yeah. At the same time. You know, they can get kind of boring. sometimes you know i remember my first funeral yeah as a small child yeah they had a separate room for all the kids we had a tv in there it was more like a little play area yeah it was more like hey we know you probably have young kids that aren't going to be able to sit through this like here's a room dedicated to them that they can play in the ipad kids yeah do they have did that little thing that doctor's offices have where it's like the squiggly oh you love that thing you move the the little things across all the lines no they had a tv what are those VHS and it had the movie where they're up in the woods and the guy falls into a trap and it has the spikes that go through his legs and then there's a giant bear hunting them.
10:35It wasn't made for kids but it was like. Lovely movie to have for kids. The Revenant? No, no. Way back in the day. I think it had that one guy. Was it Jonathan Taylor Thomas with the three brothers? No, it was the old guy. The bald old guy that you love. Sean Connery maybe? No, that might have been his name. I love What do you mean? Andy noted Sean Connery. today uh or thank you to our patreon producers carl jacobs omega buster and delaney the psalm twining today we're brought to you by mood and factor but we'll tell you about those later for now let's begin with what is and forever forever will be the roper report it's time for some news we have six stories today a baker's dozen story number one tuesday's pokemon presents will be the longest pokemon broadcast since 2023 this comes from the homie jordan middler at vgc the runtime for the upcoming pokemon presents presentation has been revealed the pokemon company will hold a pokemon presents presentation on tuesday although no information has been announced about the contents of the stream we now know how long it will last as revealed by metadata from the pokemon youtube channel the stream will run for just over 24 minutes and before we continue on i'd like to get you all super chats for what do you think the what sort of predictions will be what are your predictions what do you think will happen what sort of brand new announcements do you think that there will be let us know in the super chats that makes the stream one of the longer pokemon presents according to data from Cerebi, the February 2025 stream was just over 19 minutes.
12:21The February 2024 stream was just under 13 minutes. And the August 2023 Pokemon Presents was just under 35 minutes. Cerebi, found out how to pronounce that today. Nice. It's the Japanese version of Celebi. Nice. Yeah. Okay. Learning a lot of things. Learning a lot of things today. This should be pretty exciting i think if you're going to be jam packing a bunch of info into that amount of time that we may have some maybe potentially new exciting things to be stoked about mike what sort of things do you think will be happening yeah andy unfortunately i'm not a pokemon guy so this is unfortunate that i'm on today's kfgd to have to do predictions because i haven't played a pokemon since red blue and yellow that is my pokemon and that's as far as i've gotten except for if you look at my Nintendo Switch account my bank account I've bought a lot of Pokemon back in the day and never played them and so yeah I would have to kick it to you I know you've played a little bit more than me on the recent ones but for me I'm just ready to settle in for 24 minutes really my prediction was just to have fun and see where it goes see if I'm interested in Pokemon again not any the recent Pokemons have not captured me like they used to back in the day and I don't know if I'll be captured this one man I'll tell you what though like Scarlet and Violet I think that's something we got to go back to um in preparation for za as i look back at the old directs the old pokemon present directs um looking at some of the smaller presentations we have pokemon cafe remix pokemon unite giving uh having an update we had to talk about everything yeah these pokemon presents oh yeah do a lot of announcements pokemon unite has something big going on right now they're celebrating a birthday.
14:03They're giving away a free Gyarados right now. I thought you just meant like Johnny from Kentucky. The blue and the red bird, Latia, and the other one. Those two are in the game as well, joining us. Oh, Brandy. You know, I've been keeping tabs on Pokemon Unite. Yeah, I mean, that's what I'm saying. So these Pokemon Presents, Mike, they are an amalgamation of a lot of different announcements. So, you know, back when we're talking in 2024, that's when they first showed off Zah last year in August, I believe. and or no february 27th 2024 is when they first showed up pokemon za and then we had an announcement for the pokemon trading card game pocket when we go back to an event in 2023 august we had announcements for detective pikachu returning pokemon horizons which was uh the anime series we had some pokemon go announcements so there's always a lot of different things being thrown out You got me back in.
14:58You ready for this? Yeah, I'm ready. Andy, I've been on a big Pokemon Snap tour. I would love to see some Pokemon Snap love. I don't think it's time yet, but I'd love for us to go back to that. When was the last Pokemon Stadium? Can we get a new Pokemon Stadium in here? I love the offshoots of these games. Can we get some of that? What about that Pokemon fighting game? You're talking about that? Yeah, Pokken. Pokken, yeah, because Masters EX, or not Masters EX. Which one was it, Barrett? Was it? Well, this one that we're showing right here, Pokemon Champions, is like, I think, the closest you're going to get to a stadium.
15:35And it seems to be like mobile and switch and stuff. This was announced earlier this year, but I don't think we've gotten any updates on it. So I feel like this is this is the time to probably get updates on this probably coming next year or something like that. We'll get some more updates on Pokemon TCG Pocket. This dude just has the best hair in the game. This dude got the best hair in the game. Yeah, we'll get some TCG Pocket updates. I guess I'm looking for what are the brand new big announcements. And aside from, like, I think it's way too early to announce anything brand new in the core big console, you know, market.
16:17I don't think you're getting announcement for whatever the next Scarlet and Violet is. Because ZA is the one in between, right? ZA is the newer version of Arceus. It's a successor to Arceus. That's why, or Arceus, or however you want to pronounce it. So, yeah, this is going to be a fascinating one, because to have so much time allotted for it, you got to kind of wonder, what the heck are they going to be showing off here? Oh, I love that. I have a super chat here. $2 from Mellowfellow says, Unite PC announcement. It's time. That would be massive. Not a bad one. A Switch 2 update, Switch 2 upgrade would be nice as well.
16:50Is Pokemon Unite on mobile? Because it sort of seems like one of those. it is okay just had to just had to verify yeah i had to verify that it is um yeah i mean it it's a fascinating one a lot of time announced for it we have samson with a five dollar super chat says likely is a gen 10 tease unlikely classic collection on switch impossible and uh prediction pokemon mmo we will probably get a release date for a pokemon champions too yeah pokemon champions i believe will kind of get a massive deep dive as opposed to what was shown last time which is just kind of a an announcement we're developing it it's being worked on um but yeah i would love to see a gen 10 announcement i don't know if that sort of cannibalizes any sort of hype for za but again they they are different entries they're not yeah of course they're going after pokemon fans but when we talk about the main line entries we're talking about scarlet violet sword shield this will be the next one.
17:48What color? What object? What thing? I would go Denny's IHOP. That's a good one. I would go Takis and Flamin' Hot. That's good. What are you thinking?
18:04Nexus. And what's the other one? Nexus is a cool word. That's a cool word. How do you follow? Solar. Mainframe or something. There's always one that you're like, that's for the little brother. I'm not buying that. You know what I mean? I'm the cool one. Stupid Kyle over there. Exactly. Nacho cheese and Cool Ranch. Yeah, that's not a bad one. That's not a bad one. I would love to get some sort of Gen 10 tease. Bear, what are you feeling about it? Yeah, the Gen 10 tease, like maybe the smallest of teases. I know people constantly ask for remakes of Black and White or any sort of old school game getting brought to the modern consoles.
18:44I think that would be, maybe we get an announcement for something for next year. Yeah, just with everything going on with Zah, I feel like Zah is probably the big one for the year. I could certainly see some sort of, you know, a new, a successor to Brilliant Diamond Shining Pearl remake. But like better than that. Yeah, of course. yeah i i'm bringing it to maybe the 3ds that we know of now or if it's just you know a visual overhaul of black and white which is often highly rated on a lot of people's rankings for the pokemon games again i don't really i'm very similar to mike i beat red i beat gold and then i beat sword and shield and violet and and everyone in between i bought every one of them i played about four to five hours of every one of them then i eventually just fell off but i know that whenever I'm looking up the best Pokemon games, Black and White and Black and White 2 are always very, very high up there.
19:43I would love to see Gen 3 type stuff because I know people love Gen 3 and I feel like that's the closest analog to me trying to chase that high of Gen 1 and 2. Will Gen 10 be Switch 2 exclusive? Damn, CJ Splitson. That's a great super chat right there. Will Gen 10 be Switch 2 exclusive? i will i would lean towards no interesting because last week when me and blessing spoke about donkey kong and kind of like the switch mentality and nintendo mentality it was very much of like we're drawing a line and you're gonna jump on board right it feels like with pokemon being one of the big big like hey you gotta be here for that it feels like that would be the one but also Andy I'm more on the side of we put it on both because you have such a large install base on the last one that people would buy it no matter what but he said no they make a pretty clear line on that well Pokemon and creatures are they are just or Pokemon company and creatures creature creatures what's a dev team game freak game freak that's the one I see that the e and the a in freaking creatures got me really really good views there I was trying to google it I was like the fuck are you talking like yeah pokemon are creatures oh creatures inc is a japanese video game company affiliated with game freak and nintendo okay i was i was i i was on the precipice i was on the i was near the surrounding area founded in 1995 um i knew i knew i'd seen the word somewhere okay but they operate very very differently from nintendo they they are not they are not um the core nintendo dev teams that's why i think that you're often seeing games being put out at a fast clip and with a lower barrier of entry a lower standard right of quality is what we're seeing with what we've seen with the last kind of couple of pokemon games where they come out they kind of look dookie they don't run great and a lot of that is because they aren't really being told by nintendo what to do and when to release things they kind of just work on their own in tandem with Nintendo.
21:52I could see Gen 10 being a reset point, though. I could see Nintendo going to them and being like, hey, we have this new hardware. The last couple of releases have not been great. We just saw that you announced a game that looked fucking amazing and ridiculous. Why aren't you making that kind of stuff for us? So I could see them drawing a hard line with Switch 2, especially because, correct me if I'm wrong, you had Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu, and Eevee. You had Sword and Shield, Scarlet and Violet, and then the Arceus games. You had five really big releases of new Pokemon games on the Switch. I think now is the time to start doing a cutoff for the next generation.
22:32Do we ever see a return to the Go series? I would love it. I liked the Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee. I would love just a remake of a 3D version of a gold and a silver. Yeah, so Mike, it was essentially like remaking Red and Blue. Yeah, I played them. Yeah, yeah. But it was like the Pokemon Go mechanic, like catching mechanics. Yeah, you're not battling Pokemon to try to catch them. They pop up, and you just throw a Pokeball at them. And, you know, it was definitely a lot more simpler, more toned down. And it's not what everybody loves, but it's still, in my opinion, the best-looking modern art style of all these Pokemon games.
23:12I make sure to buy them. You know that. I had to buy them. Oh, yeah, it'll be in the car for sure. We have Greg Miller joining the show, everybody. Pokemon super fan. If you didn't know, I'm reviewing Zafras. Are you just saying that to kind of like will it into it? Kind of. Yeah. I mean, you know. I mean, hey, Tim's gone for the next two days. What do you want me to do? Who do you want to hear? You want to hear him say, as always, it's not what I wanted, but it's pretty good. Clap like a gorilla. Y 'all are high. This is coming to Switch 1 as well. There's no way they're leaving that much money on the table.
23:41That's what I'm saying. Gen 10? That's what we said. Gen 10. Yeah. Again, yeah. Again, Pokemon just they just I forget what the Holy Triumvirate is. I saw somebody some people in chat mentioned the Holy Triumvirate of Pokemon creatures and Game Freak, but they all have their own verticals. And I'm just I blank on exactly who works on what I know. Like creatures is, I believe, just the card game. and then Game Freak is the game development, and they all have to kind of like, I feel like the leaders of all three meet once a month at like a Chili's or something. At a Coldplay concert. Yeah, at a Coldplay.
24:23They have a meeting of the minds in the box up there, and they just sort of all talk about exactly what's going down. So, yeah, I don't know. We'll see. Let us know what your... 24 minutes is going to be a good time. Yeah, absolutely. Let's know what the rest of y 'all's predictions are in the chat. We see Red BFR with a$10 SuperJet. Thank you for your generosity. Says, I predict five minutes of mobile games updates, a larger breakdown of what Pokemon Champions is, new Pokemon, and new Pokemon forms for Legend ZA. Okay, that's true. Yeah, we're used to getting the Crystallion or whatever. No, that's an Elden Ring enemy.
25:03Crystallization. What's that called, chat? when you just like i thought they mega evolved yeah they make uh mega evolutions in this one no but what's the word though there's like an actual word crystallize there's a word for a chat terrestrialization there we go samson terrestrial no child's reading that terrestrial lies yeah man that's just crazy uh yeah i i definitely think that we'll see some sort of whatever city form is you know i'm you know whenever we get these regional games we get like Like I remember in Sun and Moon getting the Alolan versions or whatever. So, yeah, we'll probably get some sort of regional Pokemon specific ones.
25:42This is the French version. He's wearing a little beret or whatever. Exactly. This one looks like Robert Pattinson. He's got a piece of bread. Yeah, exactly. Gen 10 T's for Pokemon 30th anniversary next year. That is a good call, Red. Thank you for your super chat. We have Oscar Navado says, I just want another Pokemon mystery dungeon with a$2 super chat. I don't know what the hell those games are. and I've been afraid to say it this whole time and I'm sure Tim's out there somewhere like just kind of like a match three puzzler I don't know what those games are what do you do? you just walk around is it like a Zelda type?
26:13you're walking around top down third person I don't know what they do Dynamaxing is the other one there we go thank you Chad so yeah I don't know a lot of predictions right there let's move on to story number two Mike I'm gonna need you to start this one off because I left the page to find the photo of the ganky thing earlier. Never mind, I got it. I got it right here. Story number two, Battlefield 6 is seemingly just called Battlefield 6, according to leaked packages sent to content creators that might signal a reveal from EA soon. This comes from Khan Siren at GamesRadar. Who would have guessed Battlefield 6 is titled, wait for it, Battlefield 6, according to leaked promo packages seemingly sent to some content creators.
26:55And with all the rumblings and leaks and rumors in the air, an official reveal from EA shouldn't be too far behind. Content creator Doom49 posted and then quickly deleted a giant crate that publisher EA allegedly sent them. The silver package was wrapped up tight and had the name Battlefield 6 clearly printed on it. And if the post is to be believed, it would be the first time EA's officially confirmed the title of its new FPS. The whole hullabaloo led to speculation that EA's planning a big blowout for the new shooter sometime soon. Oh, snap. If I was to look around the kind of funny offices and go, who is the Battlefield guy?
27:32It's you with the Geck shirt right here. You and I, big dog. I love Battlefield. No, not me. I'm not the Battlefield guy. And I like the idea of going to Battlefield 6. I think all the hardcore fans and even kind of newer fans hold on tight to Battlefield 4, right? That's kind of the goat of the series. Everyone remembers that. I think people enjoy 3. And, of course, we move on to 5 and 1, and you kind of remember those. But I think four is really where it always is. And people remember that. I think you go back to six. Remember, we went Battlefield 2049. And, you know, I am surprised that we're already there.
28:07Right. I'm not surprised, but I am surprised. Right. At the same time, EA pulled back a lot of teams, said, hey, we're focusing on the flagship titles. We're really going to double down on Battlefield. We're bringing like seven different studios to this. They also had an earnings call that said this game would release. 42. 2042. Thank you. the end of the fiscal year, which is like spring next year. So we have a pretty close window here of this game supposedly coming out. But when it comes to the title Battlefield 6, the idea that we're around the corner from another Battlefield, that is all very exciting to me.
28:39I hope that it's very similar to modern day, maybe a little futuristic tech. You'll need some drones. I want it to be pretty close to where we're at now. I pretty much want Battlefield 4. If I had it my way, we would remake. we would get as close as we could to Battlefield 4. Do we got to play 7 through 2041 to understand the full story? You have to play Battlefield Hardline. Oh, God. The thing I was going to mention to you, Mike, I know that you said kind of surprised that we're already here. Yeah. But it's wild to look back and, you know, Battlefield 2042 came out in November 2021. We're coming up on four years after 2021 released.
29:18You and I were there for the preview with Bruce Green waiting to play it during the pandemic. Things did not work. Didn't go well. Did not go well. Service kept crashing and things like that. But it has been a long time since the last Battlefield entry. And we know that this is the one, Mike, that EA wants 100 million, 100 quadrillion billion people playing this game. It'll be really interesting to see the approach, right? They're going back to a campaign. They've talked about having all these teams on it. What is that catch, though, right? We saw them with Battlefield 1 or 5. One of those had the Ring of Fire Battle Royale.
29:54Then in Battlefield 2042, they tried to make their own mini extraction shooter slash Battle Royale, similar to Call of Duty's entry into, what was that one called? Not Plunder. DMZ. DMZ. Yeah, and so we saw them. So really my mind goes to, well, there's the core package. There's Battlefield proper. We'll call that the campaign multiplayer. multiplayer that's going to be the core package is there something else is there a third game mode that is the hey we're trying to compete with the fortnights the escape from tarkovs of the world that we see call of duty dip into with war zone dmz of course we see other games try to say hey we want to be in the mix to try to pull you away from that and when you ask for a hundred million players right or whatever they want to do how do you dip into those other game franchises and say hey come over here and play that's right besides just having the core first person shooter content that we normally expect with a campaign and multiplayer they didn't have a campaign last one remember that it's kind of a big deal i don't yeah i don't know if i've ever even played a battlefield no i guess like battlefield i remember playing battlefield one the world world one one yeah did you play the bad company ones no you're missing out that was i think that was during an era where i just wasn't gaming a whole lot because was that 360 yeah that was like 360 yeah i i you know looking back at my gaming time i was it was i had money for like two games and it was red dead one no three games red dead one red dead redemption one not revolver um nba 2k 10 or whatever and then mass effect 2 got some stiff competition you know you have games like delta force that are out there that are trying to capture that like large scale pvp audience that battlefield is kind of known for that battlefield hasn't had in the past what four years since 2021 when it came out right and then you have call of duty which is that traditional hey we're in the smaller maps the 5v5s the 10v10s this is what call of duty's bread and butter is battlefield is known for battle only in battlefield moments those wow factor moments that you'll see in no other video game because they just know how to do it the best and they have the the sandbox and the playground to be able to do that.

32:06There's all the tools, all the wild gadgets for you to do wild and cool stuff. It just comes down to a lot of like, well, the servers have to work and the game has to run properly and there has to be some sort of hook besides just 2008 to 2012 Battlefield. We're very far past that now in today's day and age. What do you think they have to do to try to bring, like there's a speculation station, pardon me, Mike. Okay. This is like, Thank you. This is a very, very negative speculatory area I'm jumping into. But when we hear about the investor call, the 100 million players expected, to me, the person who's very, very negative and pessimistic about the industry right now, just because of how everything is, I go, the people saying that they are expecting 100 million are setting this up to fail purposely because no game has no battlefields ever gotten close or you know what i mean like there's just there's no chance that anything like that will ever happen and they are just prepping for an ip sell-off or uh or more layoffs like i just don't i don't understand how that number can even get thrown out there in a serious way i just don't know we've seen countless games fail mike We've seen countless titles try to dip into that bag.
33:36And I don't even know. Obviously, Warzone is still very, very popular. But I just don't even feel like that's where everybody is right now. Am I wrong on that? I think you have every right to worry and speculate that. I think that 100 million number is crazy. I don't know who threw that out there and why they would say that. But that's a big uphill battle to have. There is room in here, Andy. there's I'll try to be the optimistic one and the positive one here because I do agree with you I do have a lot of questions and concerns about this reality Mike or real Mike but I'll be the positive one here I think there's room I think there's an opportunity I think you see Call of Duty right now is hitting player fatigue in Warzone in particular as well there's a mass audience that just doesn't want to jump onto Call of Duty no matter how different and innovative the campaign can be no matter how good the Call of Duty multiplayer suite is every single year, there's an audience out there that is yearning for something that isn't the Fortnites, that isn't Call of Duty, and maybe Battlefield can come in and fill that void, right?
34:40Battlefield has so much going forward from evolution and destructible environments, large-scale PvP with 64 on 64 that you see nowhere else. They have an opportunity to tell a really cool story with a campaign once again, right? And we saw how powerful a campaign can be with the last Call of Duty, as much as people will say, oh I'm not here for the campaign or hey I maybe play an hour and I fall off there is something there of like if you can have a really good six to 12 hour campaign that tells a good story that's really fun and maybe you know plays a little bit on your gameplay modes and gets a little innovative can go a long way there I think the bread and butter though what you need is what is that carrot on the stick what's the hook because it is not the traditional multiplayer 64 versus 64 it is not the campaign it has to be something else and in the day and age where we see fortnight continue to dominate we also look over and we see um escape from tarkov and people chasing that extraction shooter dmz like mode i think you do have to dive into that bag and say hey how do we do this and if i was battlefield i'd probably lean towards more of a battle royale i would keep it traditional i would go with a large scale map with full destructible environments and i would put you groups of four and i'd say here's 300 people or whatever crazy number you can throw out there and say this is going to be the battle royale that changes battle royales now a lot of people will roll their eyes at that because it's been said before it is kind of a a slow it down on the decline of hey i've done this i'm kind of bored now but i think there is room there right now to strike while the iron's hot if you're a true military sim put out a battle royale that is on like war zone and try to get that audience that is like i'm bored of this i want to get off of it yeah part of me thinks that you know if you're a hardcore battlefield fan you are going to be playing regardless and you are expecting the large scale control these five zones yep go to point a go to point e c is now open whatever and i i just don't know if something like that can really explode in in a way that would take people away from the other sort of right either battle royale modes you know you know i i just don't know if that's where people want to be necessarily remember battle bit remastered of course of course that was a battlefield like with cool voxel text on that right is what they call that super low poly yeah uh lots of revolution there and that was hot for about two weeks you know i'm looking back at against steam db never the the end all be all right but call of duty right now with 55 000 concurrent players uh only on steam again this is not console we know a lot of console players love playing on on call of duty and i'm i scroll up and goddamn pub g battleground still number three with 296 thousand that crazy it's so wild that pub g is still killing it that should be the story we should talk about pub g let's uh let's go to real mike now bat uh andy i've talked about this with no more optimism mike yeah let's let's get down to real mike if this was really if this was my call this would have been a star wars battlefront we would not be doing battlefield right now we would have kept battlefield on ice for another five years we would have tried to capitalize on the Star Wars market.
38:06Of course, every May we see a giant player influx celebrating May the 4th be with you in the Star Wars craze, but there is something to be said of like, the players got bored of Battlefield and didn't quite run right, but you know what they didn't get bored of? Star Wars. Star Wars is an IP you can go back to and really double down. I think Star Wars should have been the move here. My, probably in my mind, if this does fail, we go to Star Wars and we get a battlefront eventually. You work and you try to get that, you know team up again with disney proper and all that jazz but this would have been a battlefront if this was my move now i don't i do see some other sentiment on the internet seeing stan and roger from american dad being playable in call of duty which i'm all about i love him i love me some american dad but i have seen the sentiment go man i can't wait for battlefield you know like I'm just so tired of Call of Duty, you know, running around seeing, you know, here's Cheech and Chong and here's the fortnightification of Call of Duty.
39:09Yes, the fortnightification of the industry, really, you know, like everything needing to have a collab, everything, every brand needing to be inserted everywhere. I, you know, if I'm going optimistic, Andy, if I'm going on the flip side and going like Andy, let's be a little positive here. I would say maybe the industry is ready for a big change like this to say, all right, let's go back to formula. Enough. Interesting. We've seen everything, you know, now I only say that with the caveat that maybe a battle royale is included. Cause I just don't know if this battlefield core game mode. And again, I'm, I'm a head clicker.
39:44I love shooting. I love being on a keyboard mouse game. You know, I don't love battlefield, but if you said, Andy, we're going to do a battlefield six stream, you know, I'd be there because I love just keyboard mouse shooting. however i just really really don't fuck with the battlefield formula and maybe that can turn around for a lot of people maybe that maybe some people just haven't even been exposed to that life yet who maybe started gaming two years ago when battlefield 2042 was out and haven't really had a chance to find the genre or find love for the genre so if i was a betting man andy there will be a third game mode a battle royale or an extraction shooter right it has to have that It can't just be the true Battlefield multiplayer experience in a campaign.
40:26There's going to be a third caveat to this that's going to be big. I will push back on the Fortnite-ification of Call of Duty because I, of course, am one of those kids that love the marijuana tags and the emblem in Call of Duty. I like when Call of Duty kind of gets like real-life fourth wall in it, right? And so I've enjoyed that because, if you remember, one of the greatest Call of Duty commercials of all time was back in the day when they had every celebrity playing the commercial with them and it was like, everybody's playing Call of Duty and you're like, oh shit. And I've loved... How many of those celebrities have been cancelled by not doing anything?
41:00I'm sure if we could find that commercial, we would have a really good time. At least like a 30-40 % clip, I would assume. But like, I am the person who's like, oh wow, that's Nicki Minaj running around right now. That is Cheech and Chong. I enjoy that. There's Travis Scott of there. My worry is like, we're gonna get into business and microtransactions and how do you push that right i think generic soldier 42 45 47 48 that look like you're just a military guy that's maybe dressed in all black now or he's got the desert camo on or the snow camo just doesn't sell well and it kind of gets boring after a while on year five right and so i don't know i don't think battlefield will be going that route anytime soon i don't think they'll try they'll team up with travis scott or kendrick lamar right but like i don't think you can have one now without pushing the boundaries a little bit.
41:53I'm sure if Battlefield 6 survives, let's say for four years, we will see one odd tie-in where you're like, Mike, that wasn't true super military sim. They pushed the boundaries with something like 50 Cent is all of a sudden in it. Okay, what's up with this? They will have one push to see if it works. Because Battlefield is probably the last true super military sim. Call of Duty's already stepped out of the box. So they'll try, though. They have to. Are they going to do some tie-in with Mountain Dew, some sort of sponsorship like that, where you see in-game beverages and things of that nature?
42:31I would love to see some in-game. Rockstar. I would love to see some sponsorship stuff like that. And speaking of sponsors, let us tell you about ours right now. We have plenty of more gaming news to talk about around the industry, but, you know, I just looked at the Steam charts and I was like, wow, my arrival is number nine with 98 ,000 people playing on Steam only, right? Not even console. And you asked me, oh, you played it recently. How was it? And I loved it. Loved my time back in Marvel Rivals. Got to play with the squad. Chris Anka, you know, he says he's going to miss me because I won't be back in Marvel Rivals for the foreseeable future.
47:51You think you won't be back? I think I will. I think I will. You don't think you'll make it a once a week thing? Hey, maybe. When do you go back? Yeah, when do you get that back? I don't know, but I enjoyed playing as Jean Grey, as Phoenix. that was a lot of fun i think she's a really fun dps it was just it just felt right to be back in that world it's such a solid freaking video game also been playing a lot more of uh the altars yes um almost done with that sucker and today they just released their uh some news that they are putting out their physical merch that the altars wear in the game they're putting out like the actual jackets and every time i see my alters with the jackets in the game i'm like i need that damn jacket they're selling it so if anybody out there has a spare 460 dollars to help me buy this jacket i would greatly appreciate that not too bad not too bad i'm good for it you know if you could just loan me that i'll get you that money right back um and also started bonanza last night what a good video game yes i see you got bonanza here alters some dune awakening Rivals.
48:57What a good ass video game. Rivals is fun. A lot of fun with Rivals. You know what's Gary's birthday? Happy birthday, Witta! Make sure to play Rivals with him. He likes Rivals? Oh, you're talking about Rematch. Rematch. Rematch. Rematch, thank you. Yeah, you said Rivals as if we didn't just talk about Mara Rivals. I was kind of confused by that. I was going down your YouTube channel. Ah, thank you, thank you, thank you. Story number three. Xbox Cloud Games will soon follow you across Xbox PC and Windows handhelds. This comes from Tom Warren at VGC. Microsoft is starting to test updates to the Xbox PC app and Xbox consoles that will allow cloud games to follow you across devices.
49:35A new Play History section of the Xbox PC app and Xbox Console Home UI will display cloud games as part of the recently played titles list. And this will roam across consoles, PCs, and Xbox. Or consoles, PCs, and handhelds. Cloud playable games are now starting to show inside PlayHistory or the library on the Xbox PC app. Quote, this includes all cloud playable titles, even console exclusives spanning from the original Xbox to Xbox Series X and S. Whether you own the title or access it through Game Pass, explains Lily Wang, product manager of Xbox Experiences. Your recent games, including cloud ones, will soon follow you across devices, complete with the cloud powered game save.
50:18So if you played an Xbox game on your console that's not natively available on PC, it'll still show up in your recent games list and it'll be playable through Xbox Cloud Gaming on Windows. The same play history section will appear on the main Xbox console interface, too, which could mean we'll eventually see PC games listed here and playable through Xbox Cloud Gaming. Microsoft currently uses the chips from Xbox Series X to power special server blades for Xbox Cloud Gaming. Dude, blades, man. The Blades, bro. The Blades UI, dude. Let me reread that sentence. I just got so stoked about Blades. Microsoft currently uses chips from Xbox Series X to power special server blades for Xbox cloud gaming.
50:57But internal emails in the FTC v Microsoft case in 2023 revealed that Microsoft has been investigating streaming PC games over the cloud. With Microsoft moving Xbox and PC closer for its next-gen consoles, I'm expecting to see Xbox cloud gaming support PC games and provide better bit rates and resolutions, too. great news right there yeah that's a small one that maybe a lot of people might just look over might pass by but that's just continuing to build out the ecosystem once it's fully out there and fleshed out you're really in it you will see it and enjoy that and take advantage of it but nothing cooler than looking at your recently played uh list up on the front home page and see what games you might want to jump back to if you're playing a game on cloud via maybe your work pc or you're at your friend's house you're like oh thanks for reminding me i want to jump back to that and forget about it now to continue the legacy of this tech though they will need um employees to make these games oh you're telling me i can't do that no no they will need people uh to make these games so let's hope you know we don't hear about layoffs for another year or so i'm gonna put 200 days on the countdown i was gonna say why don't you give me a countdown when you think you'll hear your next playoffs.
52:12200 days from today. Whatever that is. Now, is this strictly from Xbox and Microsoft or isn't anybody? What day is 200 days from now?
52:26Thinking right now. Current underscore date equals date time linked to dot now. Future underscore date equals current underscore date plus time data. It's just talking, but it says February 6th. 10 days before my birthday. Wow. We'll definitely remember this. what a terrible birthday i'm gonna have yeah so is this xbox or is this just any layoffs i would say i would say xbox okay we'll focus on xbox oh no we'll definitely have other layoffs before then unfortunately okay no yeah that's that would be a crazy prediction to do but i think um i i mean i would love to go past that 200 okay and never see that happen but i unfortunately think it'll be it'll be shorter than that ah fuck me yeah you're taking the under yeah that's unfortunate um but yes again it's great to see engineers over there doing their best to kind of make i mean talking about games playable on the old xbox and you know all that stuff is just so awesome and i'm glad that they are kind of able to keep flexing with power in that way yeah really really need great for people like greg miller who seems to be like he may be maining xbox from here on out if this ROG, you know, ROG Ally X comes out or whatever.
53:34That'd be cool. The Xbox version. What are they calling it officially? ROG Xbox Ally? X. Yeah, the ROG Ally X. I thought the ROG Ally X was the non-Xbox, the upgraded version of it. The ROG Xbox. No, the ROG Ally Xbox. The ROG Xbox Ally X. Okay, Xbox Ally X. A lot of just words. So the ROG LiX is already a product. That's the higher version. We got to come up with a cooler name. The higher end version. Asus, we got to just ROG out of there. Drop that. Drop it. Drop that hard. I don't want to be a part of the Republic of Gamers. That's got to drop that. We got to drop that hard. Like Asus, I love your shit.
54:15When I was, let me tell you, man. Working at Best Buy circa 2008. Woo! Pandemic. Or, you know, real bad recession hitting. Okay. People walking in just being like, can I get this for$200? And I'd be like, no, sorry. He'd be like, talk to a manager for me. The manager would come and be like, yeah, we got you And I'd be like, homie, you gotta like I feel weak as fuck right here But when Asus wanted to come up I'm like, this is where you need to be I love Asus products ROG, we just gotta stop with it I've just never been a fan of it Don't love the logo, but I love their shit Obviously, I'm using one right now I love their shit, I buy their shit I didn't know you could barter at a Best Buy During the recession, Mike?
54:51During the recession, it was like a goddamn pawn shop It was like you were in a consignment shop there were no rules during the recession dude there were no rules people were walking in left and right looking at laptop being like that's the best you can do on this and be like well that's this price on the sticker and they'd be like can you talk to a manager can you bring a manager over here and dude they would more often than not just give it to them at like well i you know i could probably i could take off 80 for you like all right let's do that they still do price matches for ridiculous shit oh yeah price matches happen but this was just like hey the recession's hitting you all are hurting everybody's hurting we just need to fucking sell shit can i get this for 18 off and people were dude it was crazy man also can we get it up on the poll uh rog xbox ally x worst name for a console ever xbox ally that's it i like it that's it and the xbox ally pro okay you know the x or the s is fine but just xbox ally we gotta get rid of the x and s branding that was terrible branding from the fucking jump yeah it's one of those that when it happens it feels like there wasn't a whole lot of well what's after that you know and you always gotta hope that you're still in business to keep on going story number four craft in response to Subnautica founder's lawsuit.
56:16Stop it. Quote, we look forward to defending ourselves in court. Close quote. This comes from Andy Robinson at BGC. Publisher Crafton has responded to a lawsuit filed by former Subnautica leads stating that it looks forward to defending ourselves in court. If you're not familiar, we've talked about this a buttload of times.
56:35Founders are ousted, and then the founders are like, well, you're only ousting us because you don't want to give all of our devs the bonus that you all were promising us. And they're like, well, the game isn't ready. The bonus you'll only get if the game is ready and shipped and hits targets. But in the year 2025, we got delayed. It's not ready. And they're like, no, no, no, it is ready. Everybody's been testing it. Back and forth. People are fighting. It's a bad thing right now. But I love the drama. I love the juice. And the story goes like this. Details on the case against Crafton by the three fired Unknown Worlds executives were revealed this week after documents related to their legal action were published.
57:11CEO Ted Gill, co-founder and creative director Charlie Cleveland, and co-founder and technical director Max McGuire were fired by Crafton earlier this month and accused the publisher of obstructing the 2025 release plan for Subnautica 2 in order to avoid paying a$250 million earnout. In the latest statement, Crafton reiterated that its decision to delay Subnautica 2 to 2026 was based on the quality of the game. Quote, Crafthorn's decisions were made to ensure Subnautica 2 is the best possible game and lives up to fan expectations, a spokesperson told BGC. And when I read this, Mike, in the back of my mind, I go, you all better never, if you all get your way, you better never, ever release a game that isn't ready.
57:53Crafthorn. You never, if you all release a game that is under par because things are undercooked, shove it up your ass. We're going to remember that. We're going to remember it. Andy will remember that. quote releasing the game prematurely with insufficient content falling short of what fans expected the sequel would have both disappointed the players who are at the heart of everything craft on does and damage the reputations of both of subnautica and unknown worlds brand quote while we are disappointed that charlie max and ted have filed a lawsuit seeking a huge payout we look forward to defending ourselves in court in the meantime craft on remains focused on what matters delivering the best possible game as quickly as possible to Subnautica's fans.
58:33It's getting juicy. Ooh, it's getting exciting, Andy. It's getting dirty. And again, so much of this is that they don't believe that Subnautica 2 was ready for early access. Again, early access is something that a lot of devs release in. And sometimes when you do it, you hit it big because everybody's either super pumped for your video game already or catches the world by storm like schedule one did or not that peak was early access but it's one of those games that just becomes massively hot out of nowhere on steam and when you are prepping for a game like this to have the founders the the former founders say the game is ready internalized game tests people that have played the game have said that this game is awesome and it is certainly ready for an early access release for craft on to say no it's actually not we don't think it's up to par with our standards and also you know the 250 payout won't happen if it doesn't get released this year now craft on kind of reeling that back in and saying no no the payout will still happen for the devs or whatever that's the stuff that we care about the most we want the devs to be paid out the most because again the 250 dollar the 250 million dollar payout 10 of it was reserved for the 60 70 80 however many devs it was the 90 was going towards the founders which is kind of that's a lot of insane amount of money a lot of goddamn money a lot of money for three people however a lot of money however this to me that is this isn't about that this is about 25 million dollars being given to 40 50 60 devs i never know the exact number because i feel like i've read different reports um it's about that we want them to get that money and i i legitimately was looking so forward to this i was like i've been wanting to play subnautica one um they release a co-op mod for it i was like oh man subnautica 2 is going to be co-op amazing this news just really really bums me out and i hope that the devs get their way and i hope the devs get paid because that's a lot of money in a really really shitty industry that treats the workers like garbage i would love to see that happen well we will find out because it's going to court yeah keep an eye on that one story number five avatar frontiers of pandora update brings third person and new game plus modes this comes from ryan mccaffrey at ign by the way avatar avatar frontiers of pandora easily forgotten about video game oh yeah top three prettiest games released right now you pop that sucker in on a high-powered machine, it is one of the most stunning visual delights you'll ever have.
1:01:21And I'm legitimately kind of stoked that they're still doing shit on it. Developer, the article goes like this. Developer Massive Entertainment and publisher Ubisoft have announced that Avatir Frontiers of Pandora, the very good 2023 first-person shooter set in the titular world of Pandora, is getting another big update, timed to the third anniversary of the game's launch on December 5th, and the release of the third Avatar movie, Fire and Ash, on December 19th. That will add an optional third-person perspective mode, as well as a New Game Plus mode. Massive says it has, quote, reworked animations, controls, audio, and camera systems to ensure the experience feels seamless and intuitive, end quote, when playing in third-person perspective.
1:02:00Meanwhile, your inventory and skills will persist when making another run through the campaign in New Game Plus. More powerful gear will be available to put to use against more difficult enemies, and you'll have a new skill tree to work with. previous updates since Frontiers of Pandora released have added a 40 frames per second mode for consoles, the Skybreaker and Secrets of Spires story packs and revamped Hunter's Guide. Pretty cool. They're still doing stuff for this video game. I think that's a good sign. More often than not, you'll see large publishers easily drop and abandon a game if maybe certain numbers weren't being hit, but...
1:02:39I mean, Ubisoft has dropped and abandoned a couple of real good games. A hundred percent. So it's odd that we haven't dropped this, but the only reason why we haven't dropped this is because of the movies, the popularity of that, and hoping that it will get a second wind and a resurgence come the next update for the big movie that will come out eventually, the third one. So, yeah, I mean, you see why, but they've dropped a lot of other games that they probably shouldn't have dropped for this one here. Of course. Well, I think Massive, you know, I guess was needing to work on something anyway. To me, this is good news because I feel like there's still an appetite for it.
1:03:21And if there wasn't, then I don't think that they would be doing anything with it. Now, on the flip side, we've seen tons of things that don't get traction, continue to get worked on anyway. And I have the question of why is this still being worked on? So maybe this is one of those situations, but I think it's a nice reminder that this game came out three years ago. That's such a long ass time ago. Yeah. Getting prepped for the next Avatar movie. But legitimately, I think the game is good of what I played. I think it came out just had a really, really bad time, but it's a Far Cry style game. If you all enjoy that, it looks insanely gorgeous.
1:04:00And to continue working on and adding new modes, I think is always welcome. But yeah, for real though, this game is crazy good looking. And I think if you enjoy just the chaos of Far Cry games, it's just always hilarious in this game running around as your 9-foot tall, 10-foot tall Navi character and seeing a little human, like a 6-foot tall human in the world is just like a little tiny munchkin to you. You're just like kicking them around. Like it's, this game brings a lot of chaos and I think it's a lot of fun. So yeah, check out that update whenever it comes out. And that is a pretty big update for a game that I didn't think would be worked on anymore, Mike.
1:04:39But I'm tired of all the big news and the big updates. If I wanted something smaller, say the tiniest news I need to know about, where would I go? Andy, you would go to our last story, the Wii News channel, where we cover all the small items you need to know about.
1:04:55From this week in video games, the Chinese room, who makes Still Wakes the Deep, everybody's gone to the rapture, has announced its independence from former parent company Sumo Digital. The studio was bought out by management with assistance from a venture capital firm. Atari 50, Namco Legendary Pack announced, includes multiple versions of Atari Pac-Man, Galaga, Galaxian, Dig Dug, and Xevious, and multiple video interviews, photos, and documents. The Royal Rit, a lane-based card game with permadeath, will be released on Steam on August 7th. and Ready or Not has sold 1 million copies on console in four days.
1:05:38That's a lot. A lot. There was, yeah, a desire for that game. That's really, really damn good news for a game from a smaller developer. 1 million copies in four days on console is fantastic. So congrats to you all. A game I've always been kind of scared to stream because it gets a little heavy. It gets a little weird and dicey, you know? Your cop just busting into people's houses. Get on the floor. Give me your gun. It feels like there's a lot of stuff. Toe in the line. It's a game that I would be so scared to never want to stream with Nick Scarpino because I feel like things would just go too far, and we'd have to have a meeting about it, and we'd get several emails about it.
1:06:19That's it for Ween News, everybody. We will get to some your wrongs as well as some super chats. let's get those rocking right now we have a super chat from erwin efforts talking about uh how they well two super chats by the way both of ten dollars thank you for the generosity it's very kind of you again you all keep the lights and the mics on with your support so thank you for your super chats your subscriptions you have amazon prime you have twitch prime a little behind on the video but on xbox it won't matter what little moves they make anymore in my opinion microsoft is too anti-consumer now i tried it for the last six years to regain access to my hotmail account Finally gave up earlier this year when their call center hung up on me After having me on hold for one and a half hours My Xbox library was big, but I'll never get access to it again If you ever need somebody to stay on hold for you, just give me the phone Michael do I love being on hold He loves being on hold I love it While doing laundry at the dentist Andy, I'll complete about seven tasks while I'm on hold Don't worry about it You know, my phone is broken, so every phone call I make has to be on speakerphone So it's like, put me on hold, I don't care, you know what I mean?
1:07:22I'll just be on speakerphone Why don't you get it replaced? I don't want to go to Verizon. A Verizon trip is a whole day experience. You're right. You're not wrong. You go there and it's like, how am I first in the door? And this is still a four-hour experience. It's like buying a car. It's crazy. It's crazy, Andy. I was going to eat lunch and now it's dinner time. It's the truth. I miss Johnny's baseball game. How do I go there and it's so long? How do you spend money on stuff that you don't need and not spend money on stuff you do need? Well, I need those water shoes. What are the fucking water shoes?
1:07:54You clearly want to talk about the fucking water shoes Talk about the fucking water shoes You know what else I bought I'm on a new thing I'll share it with you I don't want to know anything Physical games I'm into something now What's your new thing Mikey Original Xbox magazines I'm buying them That's pretty fucking sick I'm buying a lot of them I like that everybody People are writing me Sellers are writing me saying I'll give you a discount because they know I'm spending. They know you have the money. Everybody's going to you. We have D. Jones with a$5 super chat saying it's time for the hard-eating questions.
1:08:36Has anyone at Kind of Funny Games been playing the Uma Musuma game? And when did we get a stream of it? D. Jones, you can watch all those streams on Twitch.tv and YouTube.com slash Snowbike Mike. I love that game. Have you tried it yet? No. You've got to step up. There's so many games to play a fucking horse girl. There's other games that I really haven't played. You have to play one night. I truly don't. It is very impressive. It's a roguelike experience. You love roguelikes. Okay? Because every single run is a new run. And you have to take your horse girl, you know, and train her to be the very best.
1:09:09I know the fucking game. I'm telling you, Andy, you got to devote one night. Okay? One night. It's just so much fun. They're just running. Cheering. Watching this girl hit that final corner. use her ultimate ability and just be able to pass others you gotta put different stats so every single time between races you get 10, 7, 12 days to train okay it's like EA sports okay it's like a Madden football game and you gotta choose is it speed is it power is it wit what are we gonna do should I give her a rest day what does wit have to do with it wit is your mind right so when do you use your special power so if you don't train wit she won't use boom the empress's call and then be able to do her special power.
1:09:52That looks like such a mobile pop-up. This shit is lit. This game, everybody should try at least once. It's that much fun. Andy, you got to play. You got to try it once. Everything I've learned about this game has been against my will, and this is the first time I'm actually seeing it, and nothing prepared me for what this looks like. It's so much fun, bro. This shit is great. I have a great day. They're really just running. We have a great You're Wrong here from the homie Corey Cudney. Yep. And this is the type of stuff I love. It says, On what Creature does, Creature also makes 3D models used in the video games.
1:10:21They were known as Ape Inc. They developed Mother 1 and 2, parentheses Earthbound, before changing to Creatures in 1995. Thank you, Corey Cudney. Oh, that's cool. And that's why you'll see some people be like, oh, the 3D models in here weren't made by Creatures. They're not as good or whatever. Like, there's always that sort of push and pull between the hard core. Yeah, now all of a sudden there's a teapot and a chandelier. Well, no, that's not what I'm talking about. They're not creating Pokemon. I'm mad at Pokemon because they stepped over the line. And I can't forgive them for that, Andy. You're racing horse girls.
1:10:53You should try it. It's really great. I will not. Really great, man. Christopher with a$2 super chat says, Can you please explain Tim's hair in the ad break? When the ad break hit, I went, Oh, Tim. That was my actual word, seeing Tim with his little hat and his haircut day hair. Is what we all call it. Clawmaster says, You seen Loki's new outfit? Just swinging out there? Oh, is it? We got a dangler? Yeah. We got a hangler dangling? Who? Loki in Marvel Rivals. Tom Hiddleston. Big hog. Oh, in Marvel Rivals. Yeah, Marvel Rivals. I thought it was a Lenny situation. A what? Lenny Kravitz. Oh, remember when that dong was hanging out?
1:11:31I thought we were, like, doing something like that. You see that dude running track where the dong was coming out of the shorts? Wow. Yeah, look at that dong. That's crazy. Hog. Wow. Great up hog. cost of the creator with a three dollar super chat says it sucks that need for speed's team was repurposed does uh yeah a lot of those teams were repurposed that's right it does we have two street zero with a twenty dollar super chat thank you so much for the love and support says game execs and players need to reset expectations live service games should aim for sustainable not explosive growth 70 to 100k ccu is healthy chasing 100 million leaves no room to grow or evolve.
1:12:13I don't think they're looking for 100 million concurrence. They're just looking for 100 million period, which is still insane. Does that make it a free-to-play game? Can it be free-to-play and survive? Can it make the expectations if it's free-to-play? I know we focus too much on this 100 million statement, but it's just like it's the most asinine thing I've ever heard in my goddamn life. It's an insane thing to even throw out there, and it's clearly said by somebody who just came in from some completely other industry who has no idea how things work. It's really, really wild. Game Maiden with a$2 super chat says, Battlefield Ticks should have a PvE mode like zombies.
1:12:56I would love that. I would love it. I love PvE. You know me. I love PvE. I predict Game Freak announces Greg is reviewing Zah is a$2 super chat from Grant Ramirez. That would be great. Man, Greg is really just putting that out there, really just undercutting Tim. It's unfortunate. That's going to do it for You're Wrong and Super Chats.
