The roof is caving in. It's a bad scene. Then we came in here and then we're like, oh, the roof uncaved. So let's get back out there. And then the roof caved in again. It's just a whole deal. Just to be clear, the roof has not literally caved in because there will be a Reddit thread of what happened. For sure. And they'll be like, I told you you should have left San Francisco. You should have got out of there. Well, let's not waste any time.

Should I be looking at you? I don't know. My reflex is to look over. You're like two stations away. My reflex is to look at you. I got a crick in my neck too. You want me to get that? 5:44Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I've interviewed him before. Very talented video game maker. Very smart dude. And he's been making the rounds recently, talking about some of the big things they got going on there at his studio, and they got some big ideas about the games industry that I think people are going to really love to hear about. And so very excited about that Gamescast, and after that is Killing Floor 3 with Mike and Nick. If you're a kind of funny member, today's Greg Ways about how Greg keeps those dang wrists so healthy. Oh, he's here. He's showing us his wrists. Oh, yeah. I mean, they look good, yeah. Those are nice wrists.
6:20I don't know what that means.
6:21Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And the pose he did look like he was going to slap us. It did, yeah, from far away. Yeah, from far away, but he had like a smile on his face. As if he has a range attack. A wrist attack. A range. Like a Mr. Fantastic move from Marvel Rivals. If you're a kind of funny member, or I already talked about that. Thank you to our Patreon producers, Carl Jacobs, Omega Buster, and Delaney the Psalm Twining. Today we're brought to you by Mood in Factor, but we'll tell you about that later. For now, let's begin with what is, and forever will be, the Roper Report. It's time for some news. We have five stories today.
6:57Blessing Adeoye Jr.:The bankers! Let's piss. Starting with our number one. Sony strikes a strategic partnership with Bandai Namco. I'm pulling from Vicky Blake at IGN. Sony has acquired a 2.5 % stake in Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco. Sony said the 16 million share acquisition forms part of a broader strategic partnership with Bandai Namco and will focus on expanding the fan community for IP, such as anime and manga around the world, and strengthening engagement. That's a quote. Sony said it is, quote, historically collaborated on various projects in the fields, such as games, anime, and music with Bandai Namco, and plans to extend this collaboration to a broader range of areas.
7:44Blessing Adeoye Jr.:While not explicitly addressed in the announcement, gaming forms a substantial part of both companies. And it's hard to imagine a world where FromSoftware's gargantuan Elden Ring, which Bandai Namco publishes, isn't expanded further. After all, Sony is already the largest shareholder in FromSoft's parent company, Katakawa. And an Elden Ring movie is already in development. Let's mend some fences, Bless. I don't know if there are fences that need to be mended. Yeah, I was going to say, what offenses have you put up? Well, the fact that, you know, there's no fucking Demon's Souls remake on PC, the fact that there's no Bloodborne remaster.
8:20Fences need to be mended, in my opinion, whether they know it or not. You know, Demon's Souls and Bloodborne, you know, big Bandai Namco IP. Whether, I mean, just, you know, whether they know it or not, I need them to just become more friends, right? We already talked about the Katakawa thing seven months ago and how FromSoftware is obviously expanding into different areas. Do you know what this is to me? It's going to be so weird to see Bandai Namco on the Elden Ring credits, by the way, like in the beginning.
8:51Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Oh, yeah, I never even thought about that. You know what I mean? Will we see an association with Bandai Namco? It'll be Alex Garland. The flash of white, the fucking black. And then the Bandai Namco right after it. The flash bang of white screen. What this is, is this is a scenario where Miyazaki is Andy Cortez and Sony is Snowbike Mike, where they're just trying to become best friends. You know what I mean? Sony wants Miyazaki as a best friend so bad, and they're just doing everything they can to get closer and closer. And Miyazaki is sitting there like, man, I feel these guys are really coming up in my business.
9:27Yeah, we're eventually going to see a situation where FromSoftware is, you know, hanging out with Bandai Namco. And then they're going to go, man, I really wish Miyazaki was here. Yeah, exactly. Or Sony's going to be hanging out with Bandai Namco, rather. Sony and Bandai Namco, they're going to go, man, I wish FromSoft was here and Miyazaki were here. I mean, this is obviously a smart move. Why would you not want to take advantage of this insanely popular IP, which we'll get to later in the news, talking about the more sales figures for Night Reign and for Elden Ring Shadow of the Earth Tree DLC, which are crazy impressive numbers.
10:07But obviously this makes a whole lot of sense. And I kind of wonder exactly what they plan on broadening out into, aside from the movie, which was already kind of a shock. I just don't know how that could possibly be adapted, but it's exciting. It's cool to just see more of this world.
10:28Blessing Adeoye Jr.:See, I think the Elden Ring part of it, I go back and forth, right? I guess I don't go back and forth. Here's the thing. I think that the Elden Ring part of it is a small piece of the pie. I think it's a bigger piece of the pie than some people would give it credit for. But this goes back to the Katakawa conversation when that was the news at the top of the year. where Bayonet Namco has so much investment in anime. A lot of anime. A lot of anime. And Sony also has investment in a lot of anime via things like Crunchyroll, right? And so you have, or Funimation, or both? Somebody kind of find it out.
11:04Funimation's done. Funimation's over? I think Funimation merged into Crunchyroll, unless I dreamt that.
11:10Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Either way, right? Sony has this big push that they have that is anime. And, like, I think there is, I think what Sony sees in both Katakawa and Bandai Namco, right? I think they see that side of it, the movie stuff, the anime IP stuff, the way you can expand there. And, like, I do think that the video game side of things is valuable for Sony. I just don't think they have, like, the actual game plan there. I feel like this is, like, the beginning of the symbiote. let's try to infect the host and like kind of get to them we're trying to get to the brain but like if we can get the body before we get the brain like we're fine with that too because we're going to make so much money off of the anime and all that shit right but like i think the the best play here for sony would be to absorb it all or at least be able to partner with it all right like have it be the anime and have it be the video game side of it because being dynamco when you want to talk about video games right like elden ring is the first thing that comes to mind for us But you're talking about so many other games.
12:10Blessing Adeoye Jr.:You're talking about things like Tekken. And when you're talking about PlayStation, PlayStation has been making a big push as far as fighting games and how that goes. And so I think that's probably a big part of the equation. If we went down a list of Bandai Namco IP, funny enough. Tom Cruise, Ace Combat. Yeah. It's right there. You know what I mean? I mean Dragon Ball as well. There's so much potential for what I'm sure Sony specifically, not even just PlayStation, because it's mostly Sony. But what Sony probably sees as a really great collaboration here between the two companies. And I want to point out really quick, Bandai Namco has also published recently the Patapon replay stuff.
12:51And also, was it Everybody's Golf? Everybody's Golf. And we were like, oh, that's a little weird.
12:55Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And also, what's the one that Greg loves on Vita? Freedom Wars. I believe that was also Bandai Namco. And so that partnership is happening. Honestly, Gundam, also another big one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, there's so much potential here. I think it's a natural fit for what both these companies do and how they've already worked together. And yeah, even if this is a thing of, and they're talking about the IP side, anime, manga, that stuff, right? If we're to continue talking about the video game side of it, yeah, if you're able to use Bandai Namco's resources to publish more PlayStation IP that you just don't have shit to do with, PlayStation had Japan Studio.
13:35Blessing Adeoye Jr.:They don't have Japan Studio anymore because they closed it down. And Japan Studio managed so many IPs for them, right? And, like, there are the, you know, it's me, right? So I got to bring up Dark Cloud. There are the Dark Clouds of the world, right? There are even the former Team Eco games of the world that are on the Japan Studio side of things that PlayStation doesn't really do as much with, right? Since the remake of Shadow of the Colossus back in, like, 2018. And so I think there's so much stuff there that you could look at Bayonet Namco to go, hey, what do you like here? What can you guys publish that's going to be beneficial for both parties involved?
14:12Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I think it's very fascinating when you see Bayonet Namco publishing these games on Switch and you see the Sony Corp wording there and the trademarks and stuff. It's not necessarily PlayStation, Sony. So, yeah, I think this was probably a thing that was a long time coming that, like, you just wouldn't even necessarily think about. And I wouldn't be surprised if they were to, you know, try to acquire even more stake in Bay 9 and Co. as time goes. Also, I mean, you know, seeing the success with something like with Cyberpunk, whatever the anime is called on Netflix. Edge Runners. Edge Runners and seeing how that's getting a season two.
14:51And obviously that had a whole lot of interest there already. and kind of intermingling everything with Crunchyroll and taking IP and making anime out of it. Like, we've seen that be a big success in the past. So I got to assume that that's where the future is going to head for, or that's where they're heading for the future.
15:12Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah. I want to bring in one super chat from At2Street0, who writes in and says, Sony, both Funimation and Crunchyroll. I believe they're mean Sony owns both Funimation and Crunchyroll. They have also been killing it in non-anime animation with Spider-Verse and K-Pop Demon Hunters. And so, there you go. Damn, that was a K-Pop Demon Hunters. Or that was a Sony joint. I didn't realize that. I believe K-Pop Demon Hunters is from the same team that brought us Spider-Verse and the Mitchell and the Machines. Did you watch that? Because I know Tim was telling us both to watch it. K-Pop Demon Hunters?
15:42Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah, I watched it. Really, like, fantastically animated movie. It's a very pretty movie and also has great music. I wasn't really as invested in the story but also I don't think the story is any way for me, right? Like the story feels tailored toward kids and also people who might have like a strong devotion to K-pop which just isn't me but I did enjoy watching it. Okay. I think you might enjoy, like put it on as maybe a background thing Okay. Or maybe like a plane movie I think you'd have a good time I mean it sounds like pretty average if it's just plane. That's good That's a good joke. Oh I like that.
16:16That's good. You like that one, Russ? I like that Let me fix your car I already got the bumper replaced That's crazy, I would have done it for free Wait, Roger, you fix cars now? Nah, but like, just let me in there It's gonna be my car eventually What does that mean? I keep telling Roger I'm gonna eventually sell my car Then Nick wants to buy your car now too Nick got really Roger, when I tell you that When I was giving him a drive home the other day He was just so pumped up about my car Yeah, he was telling me about it privately He's like, is it 2016? I was like, yeah. He's like, man, it's really clean in here.
16:50It's really nice. He's like, what's the mileage on it? I was like,$23 ,000. $23 ,000 is a brand new car, dude. I had to give Nick a ride home, and he was very much talking about buying your car. Oh, my God. But then he also looked at me. He also looked at me and said, I'm going to offer him$10 ,000. Really low ball his ass. See, what I was saying was, I'm going to have Greg Miller autograph mine and sell it to Roger for$30 ,000. What year is the car? 2016. I think it's going to be a four-way race right here. Yeah, maybe I put up an offer. Also, here's the thing. You buy his car, then I'll buy your car because I like your car too.
17:25Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Do you want my car? Because I'm starting to get tired of my car. Okay, let's have conversations. Let's just all trade cars. Who wants my cars? The other day, I tried to put on my seatbelt, and a part of it broke off. Okay, well, maybe don't tell me that. I can super glue it back. What? What part of the thing? It was just like a little piece of the plastic that they have on the seatbelt. I thought you meant the seatbelt itself. No, the seatbelt works, but a part of the plastic. So now, like, if I put on my seatbelt, it was, like, a little sharper. Let's all try to cut myself. Angels on your body says only 23K on a 2016 is crazy.
17:53Really? I know.
17:54Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah, only 23K. I bought it with 2000 in 2017. No way. Drove to California. It was the majority. Brother, I love talking about my car mileage. My favorite number of fact about me. Yeah, that's actually really cool. Yeah, I'm at, like, 230K or something like that. 230K? Maybe that's too high. Maybe, like, 180. Yeah. Oh, okay. Maybe, like, 180. It was, like, a 2012. Yeah, 2012. Aubergine Dream says, why do their rooms look the same? But we decorate similarly. Yeah. Similar fashion sense. We're in the same room right now because the studio is having technical problems. So we came into the lab, the gameplay lab.
18:30Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Story number two. Wuxiang Fallen Feathers follows in Black Myth Wukong's footsteps with strong Steam launch. This is Ed Nightingale at Eurogamer. Wuxiang Fallen Feathers from Chinese developer Linzi has gotten off to a great start on Steam following in the footsteps of extraordinarily popular black myth Wukong. The Souls-like game has been out for a day, but has already racked up a peak concurrent player count of 114 ,132. That's vastly more than the majority of the genre on Steam, including FromSoftware's own Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2. The top Souls-likes remain FromSoftware's work, with Elden Ring peaking at 953k, Dark Souls 3 peaking at almost 130k, and Sekiro peaking at 125k.
19:13Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Elden Ring multiplayer spinoff Night Rain released in May and has peaked at almost 314k. Wuxiang remains far behind Black Myth Wukong, which has a huge peak concurrent player count of 2.4 million as the second most played game ever on the platform. Still, Wuxiang is off to a great start as another successful action RPG from a Chinese developer, though unlike Wukong, it's firmly in Souls-like territory. However, despite the concurrent player count, Wuxiang currently has a mostly negative rating, with players criticizing its poor performance. Its use of Unreal Engine 5 is considered the cause of this.
19:50Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Quote, another unstable UE5 title, reads one review, while others call the performance abysmal and god-awful. I've been playing on PS5, and performance isn't optimal on that console either. Again, those are the words of Ed Nightingale from Eurogamer. Andy, of course, you got to review Wuxong Fallen Feathers yesterday on the Kind of Funny Gamescast. Did you get to talk about performance when you talked about the game? No, I didn't, but I didn't have any issues, and I think my PC's pretty goaded. And maybe the right combination of CPU and GPU. We can't let Greg Miller know about this PC gaming issue because we know he's going to run in here and laugh at it.
20:33He gets excited to talk about it. I don't like that. I get so excited about the downfall of a lot of other people.
20:37Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah. But the, no, I had no issues with it. And as I was streaming on the last night, I had a couple of people be like, how's the performance? Mine's not great. I was like, I haven't had any issues in this game. That was, you know, not even anywhere in my thought process because I just didn't have any problems with certain areas getting 40 frames. Like, oh, what's going on here? I just never had an issue. But, again, I'm fortunate that I have a very, very good PC that can probably out-horsepower any problems that there might be, but it seems like anybody with any sort of lesser specs are having issues, and that sucks, and I know that UE5 is...

21:14You guys talking about PC problems? Greg's here. He's asking about PC problems. No, Greg, we're not talking about PC problems.
21:24Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah, no, we're talking about just a normal video game release. Sounded like you were! No, no, no, we're not talking about it. Just a normal video game release. We've got to close the door. Sit the fuck down. Yeah. I came in to the office and I saw on his desk a book just filled with Pokemon facts. I don't know. I forgot the name of the book, but it was like a bunch of Pokemon facts to become a Pokemon master. Oh, I love third graders. Yeah. It looked like a book for third graders. Yeah. It was sitting on his desk. This song, man. You want to be one of the best moments. But no, I had no performance issues.
21:57And again, it could be just people with with lesser machines, because even looking at their spec sheet and what the recommendation spec sheet is, things should be okay, but I know that Unreal Engine 5 is still new enough to where it's having a lot of problems. I'm probably just giving them more of the benefit of the doubt than they deserve because by this point, a lot of these issues should be ironed out, but we're also looking at what this game is, and it's Lean Z, which I don't have a whole lot of knowledge of as a developer, but I think this is maybe their first full-ass game, and, you know, with more game releases, you'll get better at optimization, but it just seems like maybe this one was not quite ready.
22:37Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah, there is a statement that you shared with me right before the show of them addressing it on their Steam page saying, first of all, we want to extend our most sincere thanks to everyone who supports and follows the game. We have received reports regarding issues such as the game's optimization, not meeting expectations, errors in distributing pre-order rewards, and some abnormal pricing. These problems should never have occurred, and we deeply regret the inconvenience and negative experience some players are currently facing. We're confident in the game's performance within our recommended spec, but we're working on optimization.
23:06Blessing Adeoye Jr.:We're looking to issue a patch as soon as we can. In the meantime, if you're experiencing issues, you can try adjusting your settings through our FAQ. And so they're aware. They're working on it. This is Lindsay's second game. Their first game was called AD 2047. It came out on PSVR, Oculus, Vive, and Steam. You had a VR game. I guess so, yeah. If I'm being honest. Go ahead. About Wushan, Kwan, and Feathers. I paid this game no mind after, I think, you did a preview. What was that? You did a preview at, like, GDC or something. It was, like, sometime earlier this year. Yeah, GDC. And I think you came back and you were underwhelmed by it, and I was so happy.
23:45Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Because I was like, thank God. I can put an upcoming Souls game that I was, like, slightly excited about. I can put it to the side and not worry about it. And then there was a day in the middle of the review where you came in and you're like, bless. This game's kind of the truth. And I was like, damn it, dude. Damn it. And again, I say all that with the caveat that I still think it's a really easy recommend, easily recommended 8 out of 10. I think it's a great game. If you're talking, if we're talking masterpiece status, the best of all, let's chill out with that. I'm speaking more from the perspective that I thought this game was going to be kind of shit.
24:22Better or worse than Stellar Blade? I like this more than Stellar Blade.
24:25Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Aw, damn it. I don't want to hear that, man. Yeah. Like, I think Stellar Blade does more with production value, with, you know, the final hit of the cutscene being, like, this super action-y type looking, you know, moment or whatever. And that's the stuff that I really popped off for in Stellar Blade. And the combat's awesome in Stellar Blade as well. I just enjoy the... I enjoyed the combat more here. I enjoy the... I think they would have benefited. I said this in the review. I think they would have benefited more from a straightforward sort of storytelling thing that Stellar Blade does, like more of your standard type of here's how we tell a story in a video game.
25:03But they definitely lean more towards the FromSoft reading shit. Now, when that stuff does work out and you happen to read the thing and you find out that that character is the one who killed someone, that's like, oh, shit, wow, this is really, really damn cool. It's the most surprising game of the year for me. And, yeah, I said this is my favorite Souls-like level design since Dark Souls 1. Wow. Which is harder between the two? Stellar Blade? Yeah. Stellar Blade, or this, because Stellar Blade has, I think Stellar Blade has difficulty options. Okay, this one doesn't? Gotcha. Yeah, I believe so.
25:40But the thing that I really, really love about this game is how easy the re-specking is. You never have to go find a special item or talk to a special NPC or nothing like that. It's just at any point in your menu, you could be like, my health needs a boost. Let me remove this point from strength and this point from agility and this point from wherever, and let me put them all into these little three health little dots or whatever. I think it does a great job, and it's just really player-friendly in that sense.
26:11Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I want to keep playing this game with you, better or worse, all right? Yeah, please do. Better or worse than the first Berserker Kazan? Better. No question. Better or worse than Black Myth Wukong? Better. Goddamn, dude. Better or worse than Wulong Fallen Dynasty? So much better. Better or worse. I know, I didn't do that in order. I hear Roger Snicker in the background. Mario Odyssey. Better or worse than Liza P? Not better. Okay, that's where you draw the line. Liza P is my... Liza P I put above Demon's Souls as my favorite of this genre. Like, it's... I would put the core Dark Souls games, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Sekiro.
26:57I'll put Liza P right there. I think it's better than their first offering, which is really, really saying something. But straight up, the DLC of Liza P may have pushed it above another From Software game. And maybe we'll talk about that ranking at another point.
27:13Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Whoa. Whoa. this is what I want me and you to do because I feel like me and you gotta play Neo me and you gotta play Neo you gotta do some kind of like revisiting Neo in review the Neo boys oh actually let's not do that
27:33let's not do that yeah we can skip on that one you know what nevermind we're showing that idea here's the thing let me just be, you know, a little bit of a hater in a sense. I feel like if people were to go back to Nioh now, they'd go, oh, we've had a lot of strides in this genre since then. And this was like the best one at the time. I do want to go back to it because, look, I love the combat in Wolong Fallen Dynasty. I love... Wait, what game is this? Nioh, is this Path of the Matrix?
28:06Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Oh, Path of Nioh. Path of Nioh, sorry, Path of Nioh. If we... I love the combat in those Koei Tecmo games, right? It's just everything surrounding it not awesome. But Wuchong just really surprises in a lot of ways. It looks hella generic at first. I get it. There's a lot of games like this. But as you kind of get like 30 % of the game, it starts doing some wild shit art direction-wise. And I really enjoyed the English voice acting cast. Oh, okay. More than I thought I would. Because usually you play some of these, like, I think it was even Wolong. I forget which one was where I'm like, I'll switch to the Japanese dub.
28:47I'll switch to the Chinese dub. I'm not really vibing with this right now. I thought the voice actors did a way more than competent job, which is more than I could usually say about a lot of games.
28:57Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Oh, yeah. Yeah. I'm doing a Google search right now. It's a good-ass game, man. Again, it sucks that people are dealing with performance issues. I hope that this shit gets ironed out because you – when eyes are on you like this, you cannot release in a state this badly. Yeah. And we've seen it happen in the past where you will get review bombed to all hell and it takes moving heaven and earth to get that rating up to neutral or barely positive or whatever. It takes so much for developers to get that because it's human nature. You're going to let people know when you're not happy about something and it's way more rare for you to shout out shit that you like.
29:39And whenever people's, when the tide changes, and maybe if they fix a lot of stuff, there's a lot of those reviews are going to remain unchanged. And that's unfortunate. And that's what's really nice about Steam's, the latest reviews are kind of lingering around here. And here's the overall review scale, you know?
29:58Blessing Adeoye Jr.:You know, as we're talking about Souls likes and one's not made from software necessarily, I Google searched, you know, top Souls-likes not made by From Software, and I came across this list from 2024, November 2024, from CBR. The list is called Liza P. and 14 other great Souls-likes not made by From Software. And it frames it as a ranked list. Like, it starts at 15 and goes down to 1. And when I tell you that this list is abysmal, you know. Oh, no. It's such a bad list, and I wish I could tell you it now. We could do a shit list later. An ad just took over my entire screen. Oh, sick. I was going to read to you some of the things, but legitimately there's no way I can get rid of this ad now.
30:42Blessing Adeoye Jr.:But Remnant from the Ashes was number one, which I'm not a hater on Remnant. Oh, I love Remnant. Oh, my gosh. I kind of forget that that's what that game is. If I could have my way at this company. They got Remnant 2 at number one. Full playthrough. Dude, Remnant 2 is so fucking good. Which I'm not mad at. I never fully beat it, but that is a game that I would love if, you know, if Blessing walked in one day and was like, I want to play Remnant 2. Let's do like a lot of streams of it. Because try playing with Mike and Nick and they don't love PvE style games a whole lot. Like it's easy for them to kind of fall off.
31:18I will say that when we were playing Remnant, you know, it scales with difficulty. and when we had three players we were dying to a boss a lot because we kept on having a res Nick so we finally had his player die and just left him dead and so me and Mike, two players beat a three player boss without Nick because it was just like he was the cause of all of our troubles so fucking Nick dude here's what I want more than anything, you mentioned you want us to do this Neo stream what I want is to get back to the Dark Souls 1 stream, but in a different way. Oh. A way that could be a bit more exciting, a way that could be a bit more intriguing.
32:02Maybe a marathon-style long stream, but with their seamless co-op mode.
32:09Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Okay. Okay. In the way that we did the Elden Ring seamless co-op streams, where you don't got to worry about summoning some dude at a fucking stone statue that's, you know, with the green eyes, not the red eyes one, because that one shuts off your console or whatever. this is just seamless you hop in you're just two three dudes running around Dark Souls 1 just having fun existing I get scared about a Dark Souls marathon stream because I feel like I get fatigued after like three hours of playing I need a little break but if I had other people playing we could play six episodes of KFAF yeah and we can order you a lot of Red Lobster and also we'll get you a treadmill you had me at treadmill all of us could have it all of us could have it yeah we have all that stuff And also, I refreshed this list, and I got it without ads.
32:56Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Mortal Shell was their number two. Hollow Knight was their number three. Mortal Shell? Stranger of Paradise was their number four. Oh, man. Okay, look. The Surge 2 was their number five. We kind of replayed the Surge 2. Surge is going to fire. I heard the Surge is awesome. I always get recommendations on it. It's one I want to try out. But, you know, Stranger of Paradise combat was awesome. Everything around it was hilarious. And I think intentionally so. Hilariously bad, you know? Yeah. I fuck with Stranger of Paradise Did you beat it? Dude the twist is crazy I fuck with that game heavy It's one of those so bad that it's good But it's also good The combat is solid The combat is really good Everything around it to your point The story and writing is so hilarious In a way that I can't get mad at It's too lovable Of a video game For me to get mad at the story But straight up, when that twist hits, I was just like, whoa, that's fucking awesome.
33:54That's cool.
33:55Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah. What a game. Even lines that come out. I forget the name of the main dude. Jonathan or some shit, right? Jack. Jack, thank you. Yeah. Jonathan. There are some lines where he'll be looking at this big fantasy tentacle monster that he's fighting, right? Just got done with the boss fight. And he goes to the final hit, and he's like, you fucking bitch. And I'm like, how can you not love this? It's on my Steam Deck sound effect board. I clip out all my favorite lines from that game, and it's him going, I don't give a fuck who you are. Yeah, it's so good. Because it's a bad guy being like, or my name isn't so, and he cuts him off and says, I don't give a fuck who you are, dude.

38:47Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And we're back. I want to hop into some super chats real quick before we move on. And Kobe Arndt writes in and says, choose to getting it up and running. R2Otron RoboBartender says, KFam, I got the job offer. Thank you for your support. Shout out to Average Joe for always believing in me. Congratulations, RoboBartender R2Otron. Hell yeah. That was a saga. I'm glad we got the happy ending there. That's really exciting. Jeff Bull Jr. writes in and says, pitching in to help fix the KF studio. Hey, thank you. Thank you. We need it. We need it. Demon Hacker says, 2XKO launch plans, but has Tolkien eaten its lunch?
39:25Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Do you guys see this? I don't know if you guys talked about this on the KFJ. That's the Marvel fighting. Oh, okay, gotcha. You got time between both. Tolkien isn't coming out until later next year. The closed beta, or the beta, I don't even know if it's closed or open, but the beta for 2XKO is going down in October. so I think you're gonna have like these different like release times for these things and also I think both of them are gonna be quality enough that I don't think they're gonna eat each other's lunch necessarily the only game I'm really scared for is the Invincible Fighting game what did you think of the Vi?
39:59Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I haven't seen the gameplay yet I haven't looked into it but like I like that character Sonic Fox all about it they loved it yeah? Roger pull up V yeah keep on talking hold on is it Vi? V or Vi? Vi. Vi. You watched the show, goddammit. I did. I thought they were saying... This is why I was DMing. Why I wanted to DM you. I was like, Les, you cannot be looking at Magic cards while you're watching Arcane. It's the only way I can get through it. It requires more of your attention. Listen, TikTok has ruined my brain. I can't do one thing at a time. I'm not going to sit down and watch an hour-long piece of content without distractions.
40:32Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Ready? Yeah. Yeah, short for Violet. Uh...
40:43Ooh, that little back step.
40:45Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Ooh.
40:50Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah, she like shifts forward and back real quickly, which is cool.
41:00Those are her actual hands in there, Roger. When she takes off the gloves, they're real big. She has kind of like a boxing situation going on.
41:10Blessing Adeoye Jr.:their sisters roger
41:18Blessing Adeoye Jr.:and that's cool they got her on the team and at the very very end they show the i guess the ultimate animation yeah and of course riot just kills it with their art This game looks so good.
41:43Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Oh. Oh, man.
41:56Blessing Adeoye Jr.:That's cool. Yeah. I need to fight, me too. September 9th. I don't know why I said October. But yeah, that looked really cool. She gave me like Steve Fox vibes a little bit from Tekken, where he's like the boxer that will like weave, like bob and weave. Yeah, the way she was like shifting back and forth with her fists up kind of reminded me of that. I like that. She looked really fun, actually. I'm all about that. Yeah, very cool. Yeah, very cool. I want to bring in another super chat from Yelsing, who says, I like Nioh 1 and 2 more than most FromSoft games. Damn. And then Big Dome Tyler says, love and blessing champions Dark Cloud.
42:38Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I mean, you already know. I'm always going to champion Dark Cloud. It's not even like one of my favorite games of all time by any means. But it deserves being mentioned. It's just a game that deserves being mentioned. I think it's the way that me and you talk about Astral Chain. Brave Fencer Musashi. Brave Fencer Musashi. Come on. It's like some games where, like, is it game of the year? Maybe not. But it's special. It's still something special that's worth remembering. Story number three. Battlefield 6 gets its first big reveal trailer, and we're going to live react to it, me and Andy. Roger?
43:12Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I have not watched this yet. I've not watched it either. Except for when we were having tech issues, Kevin started playing it for me. But it's fine. He was just trying to test audio. My fellow citizens. My fellow. President's rehearsal for audio listeners. We'll prevail. Don't do that. Oh Prez are punching people.
43:53For all those serving on our behalf. Our prayers go with you. His hands are scarred. I want to be in Red Hulk.
44:05Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I mean there was that Trump photo I think where his hand has like a weird button. He got the gray scale. Yeah.
44:19Yeah.
44:28Blessing Adeoye Jr.:See, I would describe this for audio listeners. But it just looks like every military game. It's a tone setter. It's a tone setter for sure. And the tone is war. Yeah. The tone is war in politics big gun explosions RPGs Yeah, rocket propelled guns Right, what it stands for. I don't know real I think so
44:58What does our PGA Rockable grenade grenade, but still like I didn't even think of rocket propelled
45:09There's a redhead guy in the game for the audio series. Is that somebody who's a rock? He didn't look happy, though.
45:22Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And then, oh, well, we're going to get a multiplayer reveal on July 31st. And that's what I'm more excited about. More, more, more. That's what I'm most excited about. because we've talked about this the past couple days on Games Daily, and I've never been the Battlefield guy because I just don't care about the game mode, the actual conquest and capturing all the points or whatever. But them announcing that they are working on a Battle Royale has me way more pumped up, and it completely turned around from zero excitement to, holy shit, a Battle Royale sounds kind of cool because I don't really feel like we've had a whole lot of new battle royales in this genre in a while.
46:09Like, you know, they all got canceled and killed about four or five years ago or whatever. And so it's been a while since we've had something like this. Do you think that's still the thing, though?
46:21Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Like, are battle royales still a rage, or is it just the ones that exist are the ones that are going to continue to live? Well, what I'm hoping for is the ones that are putting this much budget behind something and throwing money at it. Like, it's not even necessarily that I miss Battle Royales. I'm just, it's a game mode that I much prefer to the core experience of Battlefield. So it's not even like, oh, are they chasing a trend? I think it's been long since dead that the Battlefield trend was happening. That's why so many games tried it and failed. Ubisoft made like two of them with Hyperscape.
46:57I remember Hyperscape. And that Fortnite one, did that one ever come out? The Fortnite-looking one? The Fortnite-looking one? They had a very cartoonish.
47:05Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I feel like I know what game you're talking about, but I don't think it was Battle Royale. Are you talking about the Rocket Launcher game? Wasn't there like one called, not Rocket League, because that's a different game. No, there was another one recently that we looked at where like this looks exactly like Fortnite. But I don't think that's out. Oh, I just assumed it had been canon. Rocket Champions, is that what I'm thinking of? There was some Rocket game that Ubisoft was working on. Roller Champions? No, there's a Rocket Launcher one, too. There's a Rocket Launcher one. Oh, yeah, I think that one kind of...
47:34Rocket Arena, someone said. Rocket Arena. Yeah. Rocket Arena, wow.
47:38Blessing Adeoye Jr.:They were just putting out games. Yeah. I typed in Ubisoft Rocket, and the first thing that came up was Rocket Robot on Wheels, if you want to know what their SEO is looking like. Oh, damn, damn. But either way, I like the Battle Royale genre. In the same way that I enjoy the Overwatch style or, you know, that's kind of blasphemous, the Team Fortress style of pushing the payload and things like that. I enjoy those game modes, and whenever I hop into Battlefield and have hopped into it in the past, I just always feel like I have no agency. I'm just one out of 90 dudes. and you might feel like you're popping off and you're winning and you check the score and you're losing 212 to 14.
48:19You're like, what has happened? It just never felt like, it's just not my shit. I know that it's not for me. I know that I'll never like it. But for them to have a Battle Royale, it's like, oh, shit, that's something I can get into. And I'm stoked to see what a big-ass company with a big-ass IP and a lot of budget can do for Battle Royale because we just haven't had a Battle Royale entry like this in a long-ass time. Again, I just think they've all been either killed before birth or they die whenever they come out because everybody's playing Warzone, Apex, Fortnite.
48:54Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I want to do a self-correction. Rocket Arena was actually published by EA, not by Ubisoft. And then did you see this this morning? IGN reported Battlefield 6 is widely expected to arrive on October 10th, something that eagle-eyed fans have now seen is backed up by the game's own terms and conditions on EA's website which notes that date as when the game's pre-launch offers will end so it seems like October 10th is the date y 'all trying to get this on Fantasy Critic or what? what's the lab? I got a major play on Fantasy Critic that me and Mike are working on I just want to tease that a little bit I just want to tease something a little bit because honestly you guys are going to be so bad they're doing a fucking trade.
49:36Blessing Adeoye Jr.:No, it's not. I'm tired of that. It's even worse. I'm tired of this collusion. We might be manipulating the rules a little bit. Oh, gosh. I'm going to go into the back end. You can't even see anything yet. You don't even know. You have enough remakes. You don't need to manipulate any further. You'll see everybody. Probably just going to invent new remakes. I was so annoyed. I walked up to Mike after that Fantasy Critic episode. I was like, Mike, we cannot let Barrett get away with this. Yeah, I'll be happy with Fork Place. Mike, he checks it every damn day He cares the most We cannot give him this Moral victory Fourth place, I'll be happy with fourth place You're going to be sad and you're going to like it I feel that Also, regarding Battlefield, I think I'm 100 % With you as far as Battlefield's Modes, I think what I realized When it comes to me and competitive shooters Is that the less players I like them focused I like an Overwatch or a a Rainbow Six Siege or a Halo Infinite or like a 5v5, 4v4.
50:38Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I want like enough control. Whenever people would say like, Mike, how big were the fights in Battlefield? Like 30v30, 60v60? 64 and 64. 64 and 64? Like, I don't, not that I have to get it right. I don't have to get it. But I don't get it. Like, I don't understand like the appeal necessarily. Like, I'm like, well, might as well flip a coin on who's going to win this thing. Is that crazy of me? It probably is crazy. I think it is, yeah. Because, I mean, the number one response I get to whenever I complain about not feeling like I have agency, people are like, play the objective and get good. And it's like, it's just not a fun game mode to me.
51:12And that's just my taste. That's just my personal taste. But, I mean, a Battle Royale from the Battlefield franchise with all of the level-lution that they have, with all of the destructive elements and environments and bridges and buildings collapsing, like, that sounds awesome as shit. Count me the hell in.
51:31Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I think that is why I like Battle Royales, though, because you still have the thing of it's either just you or maybe you and three teammates or whatever it is. But there's enough condensity there that you have the big action, but then also like, hey, y 'all got to lock in if you want to actually win this thing. Clutch the hell up because two teams are pushing you from that direction or whatever. Yeah, that's a video game right there. Instead of like, I'm on point B and we have 62 % controlled, but point C, A, and D, we're losing. I don't know. I just kind of lose the plot. So I had this thing where part of me is like, oh man, do I want another Battle Royale in 2025 or whatever?
52:08Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Do I believe in another Battle Royale? But then the other side of me is Battle Royale would get me into Battlefield, if I'm being honest. If they put out a good Battle Royale and everybody's like, yo, this one's fucking dope and it has the destruction and all the shit that makes Battlefield great, that would be enough for me to go, all right, I should play Battlefield. I should check this out. And so I'm excited to see what they cook up. I mean, just thinking of how awesome the finals is in those moments where, you know, the finals not being a massive battle royale game or like this huge, it's very objective based thing.
52:38But the revolution in those moments are insane when you're cashing in and suddenly the floor collapses from beneath you. Like to see, to have that on a massive scale, we'll see how it runs. We'll see how it looks. I will say Battlefield games always present incredibly well in trailers, and you're always getting the watered down kind of version in-game. I feel like Battlefield, more than anything, it never quite looks how the trailers do. Remember that tornado in the last one? The tornado never quite looked that sick. No? No, it just visually never really looked as awesome, in my opinion.
53:18Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Let's move on to story number four. Itch.io has hidden its entire NSFW games library. That is not safe for work. As payment providers pressure stores. This is Jordan Midler at Video Games Chronicle. Indie digital game store Itch.io has de-indexed its entire NSFW games library from its store. This comes as payment providers have begun scrutinizing NSFW content on platforms such as Steam. While the extent of these changes to the platform isn't currently known, a statement confirms that itch.io is working rapidly to change the way it platforms explicit content. This comes less than a week after Steam introduced a new set of guidelines banning previously permitted explicit content from its platform.
54:01Blessing Adeoye Jr.:The issue began earlier this year when a game titled No Mercy, which promised players they could, quote, become every woman's worst nightmare. Fucking shit. Yeah. And featured content, including sexual violence and incest, was briefly published on Steam and itch.io. The game was widely condemned, with many calling for its removal from these platforms. Ish.io banned the title, however, it remained on Steam. Now, Ish.io has stated that due to pressure from the group Collective Shout, which issued an open letter to payment processors demanding that they cease supporting online platforms that host explicit games, they have removed all adult games from their search and browse features while determining the next steps.
54:44Blessing Adeoye Jr.:In a statement, Ish.io said, quote, this is a time-critical moment for the platform. The company also apologized for not being able to warn NSFW game developers of the changes, saying that it was not realistic to provide advanced warning. So that's the end of the article. I have seen some tweets on social media pop up online in reaction to this. There's one that Barrett shared in the KHD Slack from Z-Boyd Digital Entertainment who posted on Blue Sky, Consume Me just got delisted in a wave of delistings on ish.io. It's a semi-autographical game about disordered eating. It won the grand prize at the most recent IGF Awards.
55:22Blessing Adeoye Jr.:When storefronts start mass bannings, everything is threatened. And if you're unaware of Consume Me, I've talked about it quite a few times in the last couple of weeks as a game that I'm looking forward to. It's on my fans to critic. I think that game is going to come out and do big things. There was another tweet that I saw as I was doing a little bit of looking into the topic. Naomi Clark tweeted on Blue Sky. can confirm that most of the works by at Radiator Yang on Blue Sky, as well as my own card game, no longer show up on itch.io search results, much like anything else tagged NSFW, it seems.
55:57Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Good enough for art museums, but not payment processors. Tricky situation. Yeah, a lot happening here. A lot of moving parts here. One of those things where you just... There's no real right way to go about this aside from putting in hours and hours of customized, direct, you know, conversation with the people in play. Like you do the mass ban and you're going to get a lot of people's shit banned that doesn't deserve it. But then, you know, how do you monitor all of these systems like so specifically? like what a hell of a situation that I wouldn't wish upon anyone yeah to rewind back here I think first off fuck the guy who made this no mercy game right like that was one that I saw things pop up here and there about it earlier in the year one of my friends was sending me TikToks about it and they're like fucking pissed off that this game even existed and yeah like as I hear about this and like look more into it now that it's affecting other things I'm like yeah yo fuck off with making games that are about about sexual violence or inflicting sexual violence on people like that shit should not be allowed on the store period and like the fact that people are making that shit great now you're ruining things for everybody right like that's first and foremost um it's a whole can of worms here as far as the reaction right because now you have payment processors and um uh lobbying from the organization that i mentioned before collective shout right trying to lobby to put pressure on payment processors to have these things banned from the stores and so steam and itch.io i think they're in a big moment right now of how do you respond to this and what does this look like as far as managing the games that are on your platform but also wanting to provide um good curation as far as like hey we want to be able to uplift art and expose art and let people make the games that they want to make, but also there should be a line.
58:05Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I'm of the firm belief that there should be a line. To your point, Andy, I think the reaction kind of has to be, alright, take down everything, and then let's start to figure out what these rules look like so we can surface things that deserve, surface things that are art, surface things that do have a voice or should be allowed on our platform. And if this game just has a lot of nudity, but it's not a game about you know being an awful human or whatever yeah i i you mentioning this dude with this uh who made this terrible video game it's it's wild because not only are you kind of showing your whole ass about how you know away from society you should be and probably are but you're also fucking things up for a lot of other people yeah like you are ruining this for people that are either making good video games with nudity or making horny games for people that like horny games.
59:06You're ruining this for everybody. What a disaster of a person you have.
59:11Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And the one more wrinkle that really sucks about this is that it is these payment processing companies that seem to be dictating a lot of this, right? I don't like that it has to come from PayPal and it has to come from credit card companies or whoever else are the ones that are putting pressure on Steam and itch.io and these stores to do this because it should not be on them to then dictate the video games that I'm playing. I don't want PayPal to be the ones that are like, it's the same way that I don't really want a lot of like government regulation, right? People who don't know about the art, people who don't know about video games, then coming in being like, oh, I don't want any game with sex in it.
59:44Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Guess what? Like that is going to lead to more bad than good. I wish that itch.io and Steam were way ahead of the curve as far as like getting ahead of their curation. I think this is the thing that probably should have happened a long time ago. Yeah. as far as better curation to stop things like this No Mercy game from coming out and happening, and now it's affecting everybody and having this big thing, right? I hate that, yeah, these payment processing companies are having this sort of weight on how this goes. But at the same time, yeah, like, to have to go one by one and, you know, all right, complaint from this developer, who are they?
1:00:17Okay, let's look into the game. Nothing, everything's good? Okay, cool. Approve it. Like, you know, like, what a nightmare of a situation this is because this requires, like, a lot. It requires all hands on deck and more to try to get this stuff so customly curated.
1:00:35Blessing Adeoye Jr.:My big hope is that this is, it doesn't end up in an overcorrection that then turns into a thing of, like, censorship and, like, you know, not letting, like, LGBTQ games or games that are just horny in general, right? Like, horny games should exist. Of course, these are private platforms, so they have a choice on, like, what they want to allow on their platform, right? But, like, I think as long as you're not hurting people and as long as you don't have a message that is a destructive message to people like sexual violence and things like that, right? Like, you should be allowed to have a platform and allowed to exist, you know, as a game, whether you have nudity, whether you're horny, whether you're, you know, expressive of your own sexual identity or whatever it is.
1:01:12Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And so hopefully we don't see an overcorrection. We probably will see an overcorrection because it's PayPal and all these people. I mean, Snella played almost in my top ten last year. Yeah. And that's a game with, you know. Imagine it gets taken down. Imagine that got taken down. Yeesh. That'd be big news, Andy. It sure would. If they took away Stellar Blade from us. But if I wanted something smaller. See, the tiniest news I don't know. The tiniest news I need to know about. Where would I go? You'd go to our last story, the Wii News Channel, where we cover all the news items you need to know about.
1:01:46Blessing Adeoye Jr.:This is the way that I said us. I can't take my Stellar Blade from us. story number five is we news uh from double fine uh they posted it to honor ozzy's larger than life rock and roll legacy we're making brutal legend free on itch.io which is really exciting uh lego has finally revealed the first full look at the upcoming lego game boy uh they put up an instagram video here and when i when i tell you i thought this was gonna be just a quick like oh here's a look at the Lego Game Boy. No, they have a whole story going on here. There's a robot. There's a kid from the 90s. Cinematography. Yeah. I mean, it's a cute little homage to old media, old commercials.
1:02:35I'll be real with you, man. I don't fuck with Game Boy sets, or I don't fuck with Lego sets like this. I just don't like them. What do you mean you don't like them? They do nothing for me. Like the console thing or the statue of, like, Mario's head. Or I don't know. They get – I just – I don't know. Give me a little minifig who's maybe playing a little mini Game Boy or something. I don't know. Like I like having sets. I just – I've never been the type of person to want – because this isn't the first sort of Lego Nintendo collab, right? No. Yeah, they had, like, Mario. And they had the NES too back in the day, right?
1:03:14Yeah. Like that's another one. and I just, like, I'd rather just have an NES. You know, maybe for the people that... Because it looks so much like a regular game, but it's like, what's the point when I just get a regular game? Yeah, that's where I'm at with it. Also, heads up about the Brutal Legend. It's not free anymore. That was only free for 666 minutes. Oh, that's amazing.
1:03:34Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Wow, that was good. Well, y 'all missed it. From Wario64, a brand new lollipop chainsaw game and anime had been announced. Wow. Interesting. Yeah. I mean, that's the word for it. Yeah. Super interesting. You think James Gunn's going to do this on the side? Can you imagine James Gunn? He's like, hey, listen, I know I'm directing five movies and have a billion dollar company. I'm going to do this real quick. That's a hilarious thought because my mind was like, is Suda51 even going to be back for this? Like, who's working on this? Priorities. Project Cars 3 gets delisted on August 24th. Online servers shutting down on February 24th, 2026.
1:04:12Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Elm Ring Night Reign has sold over 5 million copies. Elm Ring Shadow of the Urge Tree has sold over 10 million copies. Woo! Crazy. That's crazy, man. That's a big amount of attach rate for a game that sold like 26 million plus. That's crazy. That's awesome. Yeah, that many people buying the big, I mean, it is a big DLC. Big ass DLC. Big ass DLC. Dwarf Romantic launches August 14th on Xbox and PS5 and PS4. Dude, you crushed the shit out of that. If it were Greg Miller, it would have been Dorfomantic.
1:04:47Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Pokemon TCG Pocket Wisdom of Sea and Sky launches July 30th. The Legend of Heroes Trails Beyond the Horizon launches January 15th in the West. And then finally, Super Crash Pals launches on iOS and Android. Today, it is made by kind of funny best friend Jeffrey Bull. Whoa. Who emailed me and Greg this morning and asked to be in We News. Oh, sick. And so your wish is our command. Wow. Congratulations. Again, that is Super Crash Pals. Super Crash Pals. Super Crash Pals. iOS and Android today. I'm going to go buy it. Hell yeah. And that is it for Wii News. Let's open up Super Chats before we get out of here to see what people are saying.
1:05:28Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Let's see. As a lifelong Battlefield fan, this is Foxy Steve. This is what I wanted. Large-scale destruction in a contemporary setting and a campaign. And Andy, I think you'd like Rush Mode. Do you know about Rush Mode? I don't know about Rush Mode, but I also am excited for the campaign. I always kind of keep glossing over the fact that there is a campaign, and I almost kind of keep forgetting that there's a campaign. But that gets me super pumped up because I really enjoy these big-budget popcorn explosions all over the place. The last couple of Call of Duty campaigns have been fantastic, and I'm pretty stoked with this one.
1:06:03Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Let's see here. We got another one from Zero427, who says, This Battlefield 6 trailer really shows that they got influenced by a Civil War movie. The start of the trailer is so similar to the start of that movie. Love it. Yeah, but then also like Modern Warfare 3 back in the day, the original one. That also took place in New York City and had kind of a Civil War type deal. Roger, what kind of American are you? What do you mean? It's a quote. Oh, okay. I thought you were really asking. I was like, man, I got to think. I got to think. A lot of sides. Yeah, it's like, man, some days. The deep question.
1:06:35Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Kebabs writes in and says, Tabletop computer rocket playing grenade TTRPG. See what she did there? That's fine. That's a good one. I like that. Let's see. Jeff Bull Jr. says, oh, speaking of, Jeff Bull Jr. is the one who was putting out Super Crash Pals. They gave us a super chat and said, did you guys notice that it said Battlefield Studios rather than DICE, or did I miss something? I did not notice that. Yeah. That was announced a while. That was when they were like, hey, we're making Battlefield Studios. This is the thing that's making it. All of our studios are Battlefield Studios. If it was something, they rebranded a while back.
1:07:11Yeah, Mike just came and said the same thing.
1:07:13Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah, Mike just repeated that. Off Mike, screaming it. Tell him this is something. It's like, all right, bye. Thanks. And then Rev Cabot writes in and says, And the Gooners wept, for there were no more games to come to. Damn. Yeah. Rest in peace. All right. Wuchong Fallen Fos is still out there. You don't think it's going to get delisted on itch.io? Dude. Can you imagine? When I logged in yesterday, you know, you have to swap from the review build to the standard, like, retail build, right? Mm-hmm. Logged in yesterday, and all of the DLC costumes are there. I was like, man, we're just going from 0 to 60, like, in 0.0 seconds.
1:07:56Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Can I be honest? Because, like, I love Stella Blade, right? But some days, I'm like, was it worth it? Was my evangelism of Cellar Blade worth all the Gooner comments? Now I'm looking at Wu Chong, and I'm like, if I play this game, I'm going to have 8 out of 10 fun. But people are going to be like, oh, you're playing it for the titties, aren't you? And I'm like, I don't want that smoke. I'm tired of it. It's definitely not at that level, but it's not far away either. Yeah. I'll say that. It's good. I just want to play an action game. Cellar Blade rocks. Wu Chong rocks. titties rock I mean braves braves he says what we're all thinking yeah uh counterfight.com slash you're wrong that's where you write in let us know what we got wrong as we got it wrong so we can correct it for those watching later on YouTube and listening later on podcast services around the globe globe globe globe Tundra Boy writes in with We News Expedition 33's banger soundtrack is now available to pre-order as a vinyl and CD mmm saw Ben Starr and Jennifer English making that little video He's always making videos.
1:09:02Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I've never met somebody who loves making videos more than Ben Star. Sounds like taking a shot at him. Here's the thing. They're all good videos. I watch every single one of them. I can't even hate. I like that guy. Let's see.
1:09:19Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I don't know what that is. I'll read it for back end, I guess. Dakin writes in and says, it's been eight days since the wrong file for KHD for July 16th was uploaded on Patreon. Can someone please upload the correct one? Here's the thing. First of all, I didn't know that. I don't think anybody knew that. Second of all, brother, it's been eight days. Just watch it with ads. The news is from a week and a half ago. You really want the correct version that bad? I'll send you the link, whoever you are. I don't know if I have the link. Because here's the thing. It's definitely uploaded. It probably was just linked incorrectly or something.
1:09:58Blessing Adeoye Jr.:So if you really want the link, I'm sure if you DM somebody here, we can get it together. I know a lot of those, like the subreddit is probably the best place to say it. I love the attitude, though. Like, I'm serious. I love that. It's nice to know people care. Because I don't disagree, but also like, you know, yeah, you got to get what you wrote. You're paying for this and you're changing business. We'll fix your thing. But it's the thought process of like, I still don't know the news from eight days ago. Please. I can't watch it with an ad.
1:10:30Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I'm sorry. I probably shouldn't say that, but I... Let's see. Houston writes it and says, Wu Chong pronunciation. It's like Jimmy Wong's last name. Isn't that what we're saying? Wu Chong? Yeah, Wu Chong. Wu Chong. All right. Why? Was one of us saying Wu Chang or what? Maybe one of us said Wu Chang. Nah, Wu Chong. I've been saying Wu Chong my whole life. I think maybe it's because we're also... I think maybe because we're also referencing Black Myth Wukong, so maybe they think that we meant to say Wuchong. Ah. Black Myth Wukong, Wolong Fallen Dynasty, Wuchong Fallen Feathers. And that is it. Yeah.
1:11:12Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Zany Lube has an updated concurrent player count, it looks like. He says, Wuchong's peak concurrent players count, 131k +, has surpassed all Souls games, now excluding Elden Ring and Wukong, if that counts. Yeah. Okay. Sick, we did it. That's you wrong. And that's been another episode of Kind of Funny Games Daily.
