0:08Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Today's gaming news stories include Brand New Day and Marvel Token skins are coming to Spider-Man 2. Capcom has updated their sales numbers and a cyberpunk game has seemingly leaked. We'll have all this more because this is Kinda Funny Games Daily.

0:28Blessing Adeoye Jr.:yo what's up welcome to kind of funny games daily for tuesday july 28th 2026 i'm your host blessing at a.a. jr. join me is the nitro rifle andy cortez i'm gonna say right now right here right now bless yeah the seats that we sat in last night for spider-man brand new day those are going to be my to my go-to seats for now yeah i'm like i'm with you i that was a great view i always just avoided them you know it's like i never wanted to be in front of the the median spot yeah right at the in the dolby theater you have like maybe four rows of seats and then there's like the walking path and then the next section of you know we would always go way back up there but i was when i saw tim down there i was like i'll sit down here sure i guess because who knows if i'm going to find a seat up there and then once i settled in i was like this is awesome dude yeah these are the seats were typically in any other theater you'd want to avoid yeah it's that first four rows like you're like you're talking about i walked in i saw y 'all sitting in that row four section i'm like no man i ain't doing that i did that for sicario one time it was a bad time yeah kevin has it pulled up and has circled the seats that we're at right so like this isn't this isn't our exact theater but it's very close yes this is kind of the the layout here so that's about where we were sat and i walked in i saw you and tim and that in like that section right there and i was like nah man and then i went back um i tried to sit next to mike and roger and they're like these seats are taken and i was like oh damn and then i went to the back back row like in the very back row because there was one seat there that i could have done i sat down and it felt like i was watching the movie from a different building like it was so it felt so far and i was like no this can't be right and so i walked back to where you guys were sitting sat next to you guys and it it felt perfect it was perfect it felt perfect bless if i may interject for a second yeah do you see on the left side between the like walkway and the disabled seats there's five disabled seats there yeah and then a space yeah so that is the space that nick jumped down in the top bar yeah yeah long fall his body is that a thing we can say i believe so what would be wrong with that i don't know i don't know what the official term is i don't think you're supposed to say i would have went i don't think we can say yeah you can't say handicap you can't say handicap okay you can't say handicap or maybe i don't know i would have thought handicap i forget well i forget i forget we'll find out either way we'll find out um but either way good time oh my god can't talk about it that's a really fun i mean well we can't say you can talk about it but you can't give like an official review but just you can yeah i think you can i think you can say whether you liked it or not i think you could publish a review if you wanted to oh you're right because of all the rotten tomatoes rot you're right because a lot of times it's like the social embargo is this you just can't put a score on it but you can review it and uh and that's always confusing i was like well you could say stuff about it you just can't review it i'm like okay well what yeah can you say then um just i just i I was smiling ear to ear.

3:39Hell yeah.

3:40Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Hell yeah. I mean, we were talking before this, and it's interesting how you knew, you seem to went, you've gone radio silent on it going into it. Like you didn't know shit about what's going on in this movie. And for me, I read too much of the internet. And so like, I had so many different pieces of what could have happened in this movie. So it was very interesting of me going in, kind of having theories, and then seeing what they did, what they didn't do and all that shit. I was happy to have hit not interested on enough Instagram reels that it was just gone out of my algorithm. Yeah. My Twitter algorithm didn't see any of it.

4:11I'm so happy that I was kind of, you know, in the dark on, I'd say 99 % of it. Yeah. It was awesome.

4:20Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Of course, we're not going to get into any details. No, yeah, of course not. Kind of funny, in review is where you can go to get the spoiler review of Spider-Man, brand new day. I'm excited for Greg because Greg's not here. Greg won't be on the review. he is uh with this lovely family yeah um and i'm not sure when he's gonna get to see it but i'm very pumped for him to watch this movie yeah yeah i'm i will say i was talking to kevin where i'm not on the review so i'll give like my very very top level i'm not even gonna give thoughts i think we i think we forced you on the review no because i wanted i wanted to be on the review and then reddit got all mad at me no i'm just kidding um i wanted to be on the review and And then I was just on too many things.

5:04Oh, gotcha. Okay.

5:04Blessing Adeoye Jr.:So I was like, I don't want to be on three things if one of them's in review. And then I'm just, I have other things I want to do. I want to prep Game Showdown and other shit. So, and video games. So I'm not on it. But I'll say it's in the upper half for me. Not at the very top. Yeah. But like, it's reaching there. It's reaching there. It's grasping. As far as Spider-Man. As far as Spider-Man movies go for me. Yeah. Yeah. Well, that's all I'll say. Enough about movies. Let's talk about video games. Remember, if you're watching live, you can be a part of the show by super chatting in over on youtube.com slash kind of funny games we couldn't do this without our producers over on patreon.com slash kind of funny so thank you to carl jacobs omega buster delaney the psalm twining and lax nomad for now let's begin with what is and forever will be the roper report it's time for some news we have six stories today a baker's dozen starting with our number one spider-man 2 gets enhanced ps5 pro support today plus new suits this is liam croft at push square and i'll get ahead of it is it a slow news day yes do we cherish slow news days around here nowadays yes nowadays yes because i prefer this over the entirety of capcom is shut down or some shit like that you be soft just no longer dreadful thing you've ever heard in your life came upon the games industry and snapped and now nobody has a job anymore i much prefer talking about the skins coming to spider-man so let's get into it uh again liam croft from push square spider-man 2 has been updated today in support of the new spider-man brand new day movie bringing upgraded ps5 pro support to new suits and the ability to run the ps5 game in power saver mode you're looking for patch 1.0005 which is available to download now on the technical side ps5 pro owners can now access pssr2 aka pisser 2 within in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

6:53Blessing Adeoye Jr.:This builds on the existing PS5 Pro support to display an even better resolution thanks to its AI upscaling technology. There's also the option of running the open world in the power saver mode. All the rumors suggest this setting is in place to get the current PS5 game ready to run on the PS6 handheld. Interesting. Spider-Man 2 follows on from Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered recently receiving the same support. Today's update also adds two new suits to the game for free the fresh start suit taken from brand new day and the suit spider-man will wear in marvel token fighting souls let's start off with the suits here andy kevin if you can like click in yeah i want to see these closer what do you think of these um i i do not love the white biceps on the token fighting soul suit i think that's what i've discovered oh i think if more if there were more chunks of white in there i might enjoy it more but it it does feel like It was just a color that forgot to get filled in, either blue or red.

7:52It's just an odd part to only be white. Maybe if it was shoulders down to the elbows or shoulders down to the wrist maybe or something. But I feel like it looks like a bulbous type of thing that's about to pop.

8:03Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Can I be honest? I've never been a fan of white on Spider-Man. Even the white spider for the PlayStation Spider-Man character. I've just put up with it. I'm like, yeah, it's something that I'm like, it's there. I'm not going to be mad at it. I'm not going to complain about it. I'm just not a fan of it. I was a lot more accepting of it once we hit Spider-Man 2 and that advanced suit or whatever was no longer orange. God, I hated how orange that first suit was. Yeah. And then once you compare and contrast the difference, like, oh my gosh. It's like he was always, like, they took him out of a scene in, like, Breaking Bad in Mexico.

8:40And it was just like, it always just had this orange sort of tint to it. Once they made it more saturated red, loved it. I love kind of like different white accents. I think it's really neat to kind of mess around with that. But I think it's a much more difficult task to include white on the suit. Because it's like, are you replacing the black on the suit? And if you're not, then those sections might look kind of funky sometimes. Yeah.

9:06Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And I guess the red, white, and blue color scheme. It reminds me too much of America. You know what I mean? I see. This is Captain America Spider-Man. This ain't just Spider-Man. I see what you're saying. Now the other suit, the one from the movie Brand New Day, I think looks freaking fantastic. Now, what happened to all the lead up to when we last saw Spider-Man in No Way Home? And the movie ends with the extremely shiny blue. Yeah. And it's like, hey, Spider-Man's becoming a friendly neighborhood guy again. And, you know, he doesn't have Tony Stark and all the big tech, but he's got his own suit that he crafted again.

9:47And I feel like the blue was way more shiny.

9:50Blessing Adeoye Jr.:It was. Yeah, I was thinking about that. Did they just kind of like slowly backpedal away from that? I think they were like, we can do this for a scene. We can't do this for a whole movie. Gotcha. Okay. I mean, I don't know why. Okay. Because I thought it looked cool at the end of that movie. I mean, so did I, but maybe it was just the lighting. Maybe it was just. It also could have been the lighting. you know it's darker in those sequences but when the light hits the blue it's really really shiny and all the other parts in shadow look a little bit less shiny um but i i feel like they toned it they toned it down a little bit yeah i mean i still like the suit from the movie oh i love the yeah we still really like it and i like it in the here too the problem with adding new spider-man suits to spider-man 2 is that like we have so many options already that i'm like add it to the pile already fantastic suit options that i have here like i think if i'll if i'll if i was picking up the game today for sure yeah i'll probably apply the brand new day suit actually that would be pretty fun um but i think for me partly i don't know when i'm gonna go back to this game i'm not the kind of person that's always booting up uh spider-man 2 well this one at least i'm booting up the ps2 one all the time this one i don't boot up as much um but then also yeah like just when i when I'm when one day I'll probably replace Spider-Man this Spider-Man 2 I don't there are so many different suits that I have that this doesn't seem as exciting to me not that I'm saying they shouldn't do it or anything like that it's cool it's it's good but um I think we're just so spoiled when it comes to this I think when when I play these games I always kind of like will go with my canonical playthrough and I'll kind of have a an evolution of suits as I feel like he should throughout the story or whatever and for a lot of my playthrough i used the far from home suit quite a bit or was it the homecoming suit i think it may have been the homecoming i love the homecoming suit yeah i think i use that a lot as like the default suit this would definitely replace that the brand the brand new day suit would replace the homecoming suit for me oh yeah yeah top three suits in these sparring man games what you got for me um i mean i made a tick tock about this because one of my favorite ones and it got it was one of those that like blew up like and it was like oh i put in effort to these and that's what happens sometimes when you put an effort into videos but it was um i loved the all-white suit with like the neon kind of blue and black oh i believe it was miles's suit yeah that was one of my definite favorites um i i was a fan of the track suit i know a lot of people didn't love the track suit version but I just thought that the color scheme was just super sick.

12:27Obviously, least favorite was the Adidas one. Like, that was just an atrocity. I did not really vibe with that one. Anytime there was a Mysterio color variant and you got the, or, sorry, not Mysterio. Oh, gosh. What's his uncle's name? Prowler.

12:47Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Oh, Prowler, yeah. Anytime there was the green and purple, sort of like green, purple, and black variant, I loved that shit. I thought they did so much cool things with making the right sections of the suit purple and the right sections green. Really enjoyed those. And, of course, oh, my God, the 2099 had some great color variants. There was some good ass. The 2099 suit had a kind of like purplish with the teal, and it was like the perfect color scheme. It's like exactly the type of shit that I fuck with where the, you know, imagine the blue on the 2099 suit. but it was kind of leaning more towards purple and instead of the red it was like a neon teal blue aquamarine sort of color so fire those are like my favorite one early on i was a sucker for the like animated ones so the for miles morales the into the spider-verse suit was definitely like that was half my playthrough breaks immersion for me it does break immersion a little bit which is why i can't keep it keep it throughout the entire game um i would get i would probably want to download a mod and make the whole game look that way or something like that you know what i mean yeah make it all kind of like the framey but it was just so well done because yeah the when you so high quality it's framey and all that stuff in the same way that the movie is and so i was a big fan of that and then oh there it is on the far right god damn that's so fire i i liked the wolverine suit that they had inspired oh yeah i thought that was just a really fun idea really good to look at um and then yeah anything that's like lo-fi anything that you talk about the tracksuit like anything that's kind of you're dressing down sort of thing like this is the spider-man that does not have money and didn't have the resources yet to pull together to make an actual suit i'm always a fan of those things let us know in the comments down below what are your favorite suits yeah what are your favorite suits or super chetting do these ps5 pro updates to do anything for you piss or two dude a thousand percent i i think early on after seeing a lot of the breakdowns for what pssr was doing visually and seeing a lot of like digital found you go into it and a lot of people coming away pretty underwhelmed with it and i that bums me out because i'm like damn i bought this really powerful machine and i guess it's still giving me no real reason to want to step away from my p from my pc at any moment seeing what the upgrades did for the last go around of updates when we saw massive updates to final fantasy 7 rebirth and i believe death stranding 2 i forget what else got like the really good So if you turn PSSR to the updates on, it would kind of force every other game that hasn't gotten the, you know, the actual hands-on fixing of things.

15:26It would still kind of force them into PSSR 2 or whatever the update is. But now, like, seeing more games actually get the hands-on, you know, love and care from the developers, I think is really, really awesome. but it's really sick to see how much it improves things and makes the images much cleaner. And again, you can run your games better because you're not having to run games at either a native 4K or a native 1440p or a really badly upscaled version of those. It's like it's doing what a lot of these upscalers are doing nowadays, like FSR and like DLSS. And it's super impressive.

16:08Blessing Adeoye Jr.:so the article kind of caught me off guard here when they talk about the power saver mode and how this game has given you the option to run the open world in the power saver mode just like Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered did I didn't realize that people were connecting this with rumors talking about oh this is them getting ready to run these games on a Playstation 6 handheld is that something that sticks out to you? that confuses me because I don't really know what they mean by when you're in the open world is power saver mode and what if when you're not like what i i think they're i don't i assume it's just the game is in power saver mode i don't think the open world part specifically matters i think that's just the wording of the article okay gotcha because i guess when i initially always in the open i guess sometimes you're indoors yeah i mean like 98 of the game you're in the open world but there's a decent amount of sections where you're kind of you know in a boss fight or you know talking to you know npcs and things like that i i had read that as it has this dynamic thing where when you go into the open world it goes into power saver mode to kind of you know be easier on resources or whatever but i had not even thought to connect that to a possible ps6 handheld or whatever yeah that's fascinating to me do you do you think it's true i i don't really know where i'm at with the ps6 handheld rumors right now i just don't know and it all comes down to the the current state of the world and tech and hardware i it it seems like they would want some sort of solution to you know i think they saw a lot of success with the portal like way more success than i would have ever expected especially given what that handheld is and i think when the portal was first announced i was like people aren't going to realize that this is not the nintendo switch you can't just natively do shit on the go it has to be a cloud device i thought that that would really screw over people and they'd be like oh never mind this isn't what i thought it was and it sold way more than i would have ever anticipated i think that shows them that hey we have we have belief that we can do something like this but it all comes down to what that whatever the price is going to be yeah like what if the ps6 is or whatever this handheld is maybe it's not replacing what the ps6 is maybe it is trying to be this we can run really really low quality i don't want to say low quality sounds like super derogatory but like yeah not as we you don't need to run 4k on a handheld it would be 720 or 1080 or whatever we can figure out these specs to run our machines because we've had a lot of experience with making our games run on lower end spec pcs and things like that as when we were doing PC releases.

18:49I guess I wonder, like, if the PS6 is still going to come out as this big-ass, you know, powerful machine, is the PS6 handheld or whatever it is they're going to call it going to be this thing that kind of, similar to what the Vita was trying to do when it was like, well, we can run games from generations ago on the handheld, or we could run games that, you know, don't expect to run death stranding three on this thing but death stranding one and two might be able to do that like i just don't really know where their heads are at and i guess they haven't really given us a whole lot of yeah look into what their mind where their minds are talking like

19:26Blessing Adeoye Jr.:very vague terms yeah on what their future is but that haven't given us any concrete anything concrete so it's hard to speculate around that i i think even calling it playstation 6 handheld could be misleading because like i'm sure at some point in the conversation they're talking about it being in in line with the playstation 6 but yeah given where we're at given you know being at a place of do we even want to release a more powerful console in a few years as the thing when it's going to cost 1200 1300 1400 like i i i think the handheld is going to happen i don't know if they're going to call it a playstation 6 or if it's even going to be a playstation 6 handheld i could just see it being a playstation handheld that kind of helps stretch out the generation a little bit longer as they start to get ready for the playstation 6 but i think with that you then look at the current library we have on playstation 5 and go whatever the handheld's called it'll be able to play hopefully a majority of those games that even that might be in a dream world scenario you might have to go case by case and have games optimized for it i will say horizon zero dawn remastered inspired me in two being the games that you're doing this low power or sorry power saver mode update two if playstation is going to choose two games it might be those two games like horizon and spider-man i think has a certain weight for playstation when it comes to um popularity and how they kind of view those as flagships of course you have last plus god of war and all these things but i think horizon horizon particularly i think they like to experiment with a lot and inspired me obviously is such a popular game that if you were to go that handheld route and if you want to have something available to play, you would have to have Spider-Man on there.

21:09Yeah, they're good test beds as well for just the amount of things loading, the amount of activities happening in the world. Yeah, I think those are really solid places for them to test. And I think they're a really good spot because they just, whatever this rumored handheld may be, or I guess it's not rumored by this point, but whatever it is that they're looking at, they don't have to, they're not on the PC side of things

21:33Blessing Adeoye Jr.:where they have to worry about a shit ton of skews yeah like we we have whatever the console skew is and we have whatever this lower power thing is can we make that experience on the handheld you know equally you know somewhat equal to make people go hey this isn't so bad on this handheld because you shouldn't expect 60 frames per second doing all this crazy shit but what if we can have that PSSR 2 on your handheld making things run a lot better and look a lot better. It really opens up a whole lot of possibilities for them. We'll see what happens with that. Let's see what's happening in the superchats though.

22:11Blessing Adeoye Jr.:The stoner sensei says Spidey P's sitting down. Don't we all kind of pee sitting down sometimes though? Because like When you two. That's what I'm saying. When you two, I feel like most of the time we're one and also. Like you two and one at the same time, right? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Same here. Yeah. I don't know if I've ever two without a one. It's for me. It's hard to two without a one. Yeah. The only way, the only way I two without a one is if I've won right before two. Yeah. I hate this. If I wanted to then had an emergency, then I was just two in. But sometimes the one is like, let me get in on that.

22:50Yeah.

22:50Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Sometimes the one is like, Oh, I can go again. Let's run that shit back. I'm back. I'm back. Back at it like a bad habit. CJ Mello says, the miles varicoa suit was sick oh yeah oh yeah the proto-weekend yeah yeah super cool uh science dog official says am i the only one that can't use other suits or skins other than the original one built for the story it completely breaks immersion for me i understand that i have that with other games not spider-man necessarily because spider-man is so much of just a comic book that yeah i don't really need all the immersion but for a serious game it's harder for me to use more specialized skins yeah i would i completely agree with that i think if this game had you know something crazy like you were you were just venom as his like gigantic body or whatever like that would definitely throw shit off for me it there's like a level for like how outlandish is that and how will it look in cut scenes and will it bother me enough yeah you know Like, Last of Us, either, I think Last of Us Remastered, and probably the Last of Us Remake for PS5 as well, I believe both have skins for Joel and Ellie, where they're wearing shirts from other PlayStation games.

24:03Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Right, she has, like, a Ghost of Tsushima shirt. Yeah, a Ghost of Tsushima shirt or a Shadow of the Colossus. I can't wear that. Oh, really? That's enough for me to be like, no, brother. No, brother. Damn. Like, you did not play Shadow of the Colossus, Joel. I don't believe it. You don't think they found, like, a little red box out there? No. Just, you know, plug it in? I feel like we'd know if Ellie played Ghost of Yote I mean Yote for sure Yote is definitely one where I'm like you're breaking a burden Shadow of the Colossus possibly you never know Joel having like a chapter or like a story cutscene where he talks about like Ellie I played Shadow of the Colossus and I learned what the cycle of violence is like that actually would be such a sick ass Ellie have you ever heard of Team Ico let me tell you why am i going to john bernthor and let me tell you what let me tell you what norm uh norm chacho writes and says andy i keep forgetting to ask what was the guitar you used on the album it looked like a p90 jazz master but in a color i don't recognize it was it was a jazz master that i bought specifically from a used shop i forget exactly the website i bought it from but it ran me i think it was like 900 bucks 1200 new i bought it for around 900 and it was um it was the one that i sought out because i wanted it the most it the color is miami blue and it's like a very kind of laser bright saturated blue that's the one that i was i had my eyes on that and through their custom shop they have a bunch of other cool colors i was close to getting like a sparkly purple with the black pick guard but the miami blue was just like so hot and i was like i need that so that's the one that i sought out zachary says got engaged over the weekend wouldn't have been possible without the kf community introducing us love y 'all wow that's awesome that's why rocas zach oh why rocas yeah you've seen the name why rocas it's zachary backwards it's funny because i just read it as zachary now oh sure yeah yeah like i don't even think about why rocas as a pronunciation congratulations that's amazing that's awesome them and then ninja fingers it's cut off from you but ninja fingers writes in and says what's it cost to get you guys to play to play test a dad and son designed indie platformer a dad and son design that's neat making games within the family oh okay yeah like a father and son they designed an indie platformer i thought it was a genre or like oh they're trying to make like a oh what's the name of that game oh it's the it's published by by Arc System works It's like a big guy And like a little guy I know what you're talking about Damon and baby It's like a Damon and baby like Damn dude I mean send it over Email us Cold email us I hope it's not a virus EXE By the way I was trying to download The Final Fantasy Rebirth mod Have you been seeing much about this Final Fantasy Rebirth?

27:08mod so a random modder out there has been looking or has been doing a lot of lighting fixes to the final fantasy rebirth video game because the game just never looked quite as good as it could anywhere like doesn't matter whether you're playing on pc at max settings it just kind of always looked dooky so kevin i'm sending you a link right now and i tried downloading the mod and there's just a there's a freaking there's a freaking file in there that just says like hey trojan warning i'm like oh shit i don't want and i ended up replying to the dude oh i did see this i ended up replying to the dude i was like hey uh just bumping this reply because some reply was like hey what's up with this like you know possible trojan threat and apparently it's like totally fine digital found you did a video on it which makes me feel a lot more safe about it but it is it's pretty wild the level of quality that things are changing because of how their lighting system works and then you know carter dell ended up dell walker ended up replying to it and saying like yeah um you know here's how our game suicide squad kill the justice league looked without character lighting you know before lighting pass goes through you're just kind of using the world lighting to try to make things look really really nice and sometimes that's just not quite enough and i'm sending you another link kevin um and it's just pretty wild the level of changes we're seeing to it but i was trying to install it really worried about that virus but But now I'm like, no, I'm going to do it now.

28:51I'm going to go for it.

28:52Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Oh, yeah. I think I'm going to take the risk. I can't believe it looked like the picture on the left. I'm going to take the plunge. Yeah. Oh. And it just does so much to, like, to the, this, where hair should be casting a shadow and things like that. There was just something not done correctly or done well, really. And it's why, like, anytime I would see the characters in the open world, I'm like, why do they look like that? They look just kind of odd in some spots. Go to that Sephiroth one, Kevin. If you saw that Sephiroth one, the before and after. It adds so much more depth to it. So shout out to modders.

29:32Shout out to everybody doing the Lord's work.

31:18Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And we're back with story number two. Resident Evil Requiem sales top 8.06 million. Pragmata tops 2.51 million. This is Sal Romano at Gamatsu. Total sales for Resident Evil Requiem have surpassed 8.06 million units. And for Pragmata 2.51, Capcom has announced Resident Evil Requiem launched for PS5, Xbox, Switch 2, and PC, and Epic Games Store and Steam on February 27th. Pragmata launched for those platforms as well on April 17th worldwide. The Switch 2 version launched April 24th in Japan. Total sales for REquiem were last reported to have surpassed 7 million units on April 24th. Pragmata 2 million units in its first 16 days.

32:03Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Other updated sales figures include Monster Hunter World with 30.45 million units. Good lord. Resident Evil 2 2019 with 19.75 million units. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard with 18.41 million units. Resident Evil 6 with 17.60 million units. Nice, dude. That's the goat. Resident Evil 4 2023 specifically with 16.04 million units. Resident Evil Village with 15.86 million. Resident Evil 3 2020 with 14.5 damn that sold even three even three damn that's crazy that's when I haven't even played yet but I know how a lot of people feel about it yeah you'll beat it in five that's crazy Resident Evil 3 2020 sold 14.52 million units and Devil May Cry 5 sold 14.24 million units Devil May Cry 5 yeah almost at 15 million cooking now my question is it's been out for a while but still it's amazing i mean yeah it came out what 2019 yeah um how so okay my question is resident evil 3 how much was that at launch was that a full 60 video game because that game was so short that i wonder if like they sold it for a low enough price to where that really boosted sales it was 60 it was full price and we didn't revolt over that what do you mean well i I mean, you know.

33:23Blessing Adeoye Jr.:What do you mean it was full price? You know, there are. Wait, is that, am I crazy, Chad? Is that not crazy that that game's full, just sold well? You know, they do allow, you know, lots of methods of replay and things like that. Kevin, I'm sending through a link right now that's kind of unrelated, but totally related still. Okay, y 'all did revolt. Okay, good. Oh, everybody revolted. They're saying, yeah, they're saying it was a big talking point. Gotcha. I mean, don't get me wrong. People are saying it's a good game. It is a good game, but it's a very short game yeah i think i beat it in one sitting i i got the code about four or five hours right or something like that something like that i remember tim came to me and he was like hey we just got evil three and a half hours exactly he was like hey we have the code for resident evil 3 the embargo's tomorrow can you take off of all the shows and see how much of it you can play and see if you can beat it and i was like tim that's crazy that's a tall task i don't know if I got it, but I'll try.

34:19Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And let me tell you, I succeeded. I finished and I was like, oh, I still have more work day left. I still have more. I have more time in the work day. It's sick. Now, here's a massive throwback. March 20th, 2020. This was one of the first work from home. Yes. Let's plays. Maybe the first work from home. Let's plays we ever did when the Resident Evil 3 Raccoon City demo came out. And it's just wild. to see the setup, to see the lighting, to see the cameras. We had just our standard$60 webcams at work. It's just so freaking buck wild to see this. Is this using Discord to show your gameplay? Yeah, I was using and sharing that video with Tim, so he was always kind of behind what was happening because we were using Discord.

35:11It was absolutely buck wild to see the... This actually looks really... Were you streaming? No. wait yes i was okay all right because like otherwise the the quality couldn't look this good

Read the full transcript

35:22Blessing Adeoye Jr.:pretty nuts yeah how long to beat is telling me that resident evil 3 oh wait no this is the original hold on i was about to say i was about to say no way hold on resident evil 3 four hours right because i want to make sure i'm not crazy resident evil anytime it gets brought up where it's like andy you need to go back and beat oh here we go Claire's So this says six hours Which I can give it that, maybe it's six hours What if you're a shooter like me though? It was a breezy six hours though What if you're a shooter like me and it's just like headshots non-stop I can't even begin to fucking describe to you right now, bless how hard I'm going to carry this fucking Halo marathon on Friday Like holy shit, when I'm in Halo on keyboard mouse it's just it feels illegal.

36:19I think we're playing on

36:20Blessing Adeoye Jr.:PlayStation though. You guys are. Yeah. Is it cross play? Yeah. Oh snap. Okay. That's exciting. Yeah. Oh my God. I'm going to be. And like for everybody it's like Andy you're not supposed to play Halo that way. I played Halo a million times like that on my Xbox back in the day. I'm playing keyboard and mouse. What's difficult to replay it on? Do you know? It's legendary. Oh we're playing on legendary. Yes. I didn't consent. You have to play on legendary. I did not consent to this. Legendary all skulls on i don't know if we're doing lasso but whatever y 'all trying to make me hate halo my first campaign playthrough um yeah cool for sales i think we kind of covered the surprising things here um resident evil requiem selling so well of course it's a resident evil and it's a really good resident evil and so that's not surprising pragmata having surpassed 2.5 51 million units for a new ip that seems pretty good do you think we see pragmata too i think so yeah I think Capcom's gotten to a spot where they know what's overscoped for them.

37:22I think Pragmata, probably the most overscoped of any of these projects, I would assume, just because of how long it was cooking and how long they announced in 2020. It's one of those that I feel like out of any of these projects, it's the one that took the longest to get to and finally release. But I think it's one of those lessons learned where you go, okay, we saw, we had great feedback from it. A lot of people really enjoy the game. And we know what we're capable of now. We know the sort of rhythms we're working with. Similar to Square with the Final Fantasy remakes where it's like just the longer you work on things, the better your rhythm gets as a studio, the quicker you can make these games.

38:04I'm even thinking to, when me and Mike were talking yesterday on Games Daily about God of Orlaufei. And it's like, damn, this game has taken like a year less than the other God of Wars kind of took, you know, going from a certain amount of time to like a four year ish turnaround. And a lot of that just comes with, you know, veteran leadership and employees understanding how each other works and how to make things quicker. And so I feel like Capcom's in a really good spot that whatever the next pragmata is going to be, we are not going to spend six years waiting for it. Yeah. I think they, I think we're looking more like legitimately like a three and a half year turnaround.

38:45I feel like it could be optimal for them.

38:49Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Where's devil may cry though. That's what I want to know. What's up with that. I got to assume they have a lot of different teams that they are. I mean, there there's no denying that they look at these numbers and go, damn, there's been a there's been kind of a recent uptick in devil may cry activity like we're seeing the streets talk about devil may cry recently a lot of it has to do with a netflix show and things like that but i think it's there's kind of a groundswell of of enthusiasm for uh devil may cry recently i i cry i think i'm so i look at resident evil 4 being so low down there i'm like oh wait it only came out two years ago yeah that's specifically for the remake i wonder where base Resident Evil 4 numbers are at.

39:31Oh, I think...

39:31Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Because I would have assumed that that was in like the top something. Yeah. These are updated sales figures. I think Resident... I mean, yeah, you're talking about one of the highest rated games ever. One of the most ported games. Yeah. I played that game on PS2 and then I played it on the Wii. Yeah. And then I tried it again on PS4. I can't believe Resident Evil 6 is 17.6 million. Granted, that game's been out for a long time, but it deserves all the success. Where's five on this list? Nobody's picking up five anymore? Probably below there. Probably down there. Yeah? Yeah, I would assume further down.

40:04How much better than five is six? How much better is five than six?

40:09Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Sorry, how much better is six than five? Okay, well... Like, is six a significant jump up? It depends on what you want. Because I know nothing about five and six aside from people consider them not good. And one of them takes place in Africa, and a lot of people are offended. So with, it depends on what you're looking at, looking for in a game. Okay. Did I have a lot more fun and have a lot more entertaining moments in six than five? Yes. Okay. I think five is still probably like a better video game. Interesting. But in part six, you know, it's four different campaigns. You play as Leon and the lady that he meets.

40:52It's the first time we've ever seen her in Resident Evil. I think the last time we've ever seen her in Resident Evil. And then the second playthrough, it's Chris Redfield and some new jabroni. I think his name is like, I don't know, Zach or some shit. Yeah. And then you play as Troy Baker's character and somebody else. And then you play as Ada Wong. Oh. And a character without a name. Okay. Because you could tell that they just ran out of time and were like, we don't. His name was Agent is what they called him He wasn't like a dude He was just like a random NPC that gets Parallel because they're like well we have to give Ada A fucking playthrough now what are we doing And they just paired her with some random Guy named Agent And so they're all like Five to six hours they're hilarious It's some of the Most entertaining shit I think People are kind of funny there should be a playthrough That happens here Because of how entertaining they are

41:49Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I mean I played so many Resident Evil games now that I feel like I should just play them all at this point. For mainline, I'm only missing five, six, and one. And then I guess Code Veronica for counting that. But for numbered entries, those are the ones. So I would be down for a playthrough of five or six. I never did a second playthrough on two where like you play as Claire. I also didn't do that. Yeah. Because I was too scared. But also number part four, the remake, I didn't fully beat. I think I stopped around halfway-ish. Okay. and I was I kind of wasn't feeling it but I feel like I'm way more down for it after really enjoying Requiem like I really had a great time with Requiem you and I made some memories that came out this year you know what the homie Niall from Nvidia hit me up recently it was like I just finally played Requiem and it's so freaking amazing and I'm finally going back and like kind of watching you and bless his playthrough oh yeah and like just like he was like i can't believe y 'all sold those coins or whatever like drop those coins those were some memories a great time we're gonna have more memories this friday when we play halo campaign of all oh yeah story number three way forwards developers sorry let me say again way forward developers leaked portfolio exposes a cyberpunk edge runners 2.5d brawler that cdpr may or may not have quietly killed this is alessia Alessio Palumbo.

43:18Blessing Adeoye Jr.:There's a lot to that sentence. You better get back on it. Alessio Palumbo at WCCF Tech. CD Projekt Red has reportedly been working with Shantae developer WayForward on a Cyberpunk Edgerunners project codenamed Gemini. The rumor comes from MP First, which discovered the news from the portfolio of a former WayForward developer who listed this project as in development as of 2025 through 2026. Of course, there's no telling whether the concept moved forward or was scrapped, as is often the case in game studios. Still, the few details available point to a rollback-driven 2.5D beat-em-up, which could have fit the anime style of Edgerunners.

43:56Blessing Adeoye Jr.:WayForward also has some experience in the genre, thanks to the River City Girls franchise. Regardless of this leaked project status, it's interesting that CD Projekt Red has considered investing specifically in Edgerunners, then again the overwhelmingly positive reception to the anime series available on netflix certainly didn't leave the polish studio indifferent in fact as you may recall it was among it was among the main factors that contributed to the resurgence of cyberpunk 2077 following its highly problematic launch you better get that shit back up and yeah start cooking again if you're not cooking start if you're if you're still cooking keep cooking if you stop cooking get back in the kitchen the resurgence that cyberpunk 2077 had whatever it was last week or i guess whatever with the anime edge runners season two announcement yeah insane some of the highest numbers you've ever seen in cyberpunk which i'm assuming led to you know a couple million extra sales or whatever cyberpunk edge runners is such a movement that i think a lot of people aren't fully understanding quite like how much weight it has yeah and how much popularity it brings with it would i have preferred this to be a top-down you know sort of like hades style action roguelite or something or not not a roguelite but you know what i mean yeah um but i will say that absolume made me enjoy brawlers way more so like beat em ups has just never quite been my thing i mean i'm exactly where you're at with beat em ups but and i don't i don't want to downplay the amount of work any video game takes but beat-em-ups seem more attainable as far as like a genre of video game that you can make that kind of is like people know what a beat-em-up is way forward knows how to make a beat oh yeah you know what i mean like i feel like this is a project that's not going to stretch them in like a crazy way i feel like this is a perfect pairing of oh yeah this cyberpunk edge runners has the art style has the world has the abilities to make a game like this pop um and way forward knows what they're doing in this realm boom like knock it out that art style would have gone hard oh yeah like i i really want these things dude i'm not saying i want these things to get leaked but i just for my own eyeballs because i think way forward has some of the best art direction and just pixel art out there and if this is 2.5d then i would assume that it would probably look a lot more similar to something like Fatal Fury.

46:31Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I wouldn't want that, though. It wouldn't be pixel art, though, right? No, I'd want cartoon animated sort of thing. I'm thinking of Guilty Gear, unless you're also mean... Oh, no, I mean in terms of how the lighting effects work with it, where whenever... One thing I love about a game like... Is it Fatal... It's Fatal Fury, right? Fatal Fury is the one from SMK. streets of rage i'm sorry okay i'm with you i'm with streets of rage 4 as though i always get the mix up but how amazing the lighting systems are in those where like it's still a 2d object but it's engineered and made in such an awesome way when you're walking near fire absolute did it as well where the fire will kind of you'll see the light shine on like the out the rim of the character and it's like oh i just i love that shit um i would love to see exactly what they are cooking with here because yeah i think that's a good call if this doesn't get made there has to be something edge runners related that gets made well it's a massive miss it's i think it's such a smart idea because we're not going to see another cyberpunk game in such a long time yeah so finding these small wins of oh here's a cyberpunk beat him up or here's a cyberpunk whatever other genre of game they put lucy from cyber from edge runners in guilty gear funny enough um apex legends got the yeah runners like by the way did you see you see loba as pan am no fucking crazy what it's crazy yeah i mean so it's like an edge runner sting but of course they looked at loba and they're like we have to make her pan am and it's it's pretty great it's awesome hold on time out for the podcast it's awesome yeah everybody everybody pause everybody pause yeah yeah yeah okay i see it pretty good i see it it's pretty awesome story number four is intergalactic coming in 2027 um this is from a tweet this is a weird one again slow news day and so i'm just i'm just pulling together conversation topics we're just having fun conversations nate the hate to respond responded to a tweet of course nate the hate is a very well-known leaker who oftentimes gets things uh right he responded to a tweet uh asking hey now that we have confirmation for lave release date is intergalactic supposed to release next year or 2028 nate responded 2027 is the intended target now i think this is something we could have guessed i don't believe for a second we're actually going to see it in 2027 i think it gets delayed to 2028 even if it is the intended target but i think it's an interesting conversation okay so last of us part two releases in 2020 you get a lot of the studio working on a multiplayer game for several years that goes nowhere and they ax all of it granted you know i think it all just comes down to how much of the team was fully in full production on intergalactic and for how long was that you know because you could say oh we've been you know we we had parts of the team working on intergalactic since 2021 or 2020 or whatever 2019 whatever the hell it may be but you know it could have been six people just ideating and and brainstorming things or whatever yeah i just look at naughty dog and neil druckman in particular as people who move slow and like take their time and want to get every single detail right and if that thing doesn't work exit and rethink of something hey let's create oh let's create a rope mechanic and in the studios like hey anytime game developers trying to make rope it's it's always tough and they're like we're gonna make a rope yeah that's going to be a lot of figure out we're gonna figure out the rope physics um and so like i don't know i think i when i think of naughty dog i for better or for worse probably for worse i think of seven year turnarounds i mean for in this case yeah yeah like i don't think they've had that before right because we're talking about just from last of us last of us too sure but they made uncharted 4 and lost legacy between those you're so right yeah you're so That's the thing is like this has been their longest they've taken for not counting last was remastered or whatever.

50:42Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Last was part one. If we're not counting last was part one, which they did do. And also for not counting the re lost legacy was also Sean S. K. I never know how to pronounce the name. S. K. Oh, maybe he was running lost legacy. Yeah. Which to me shows that like the whole team wasn't on that. But you're still right. And like, yeah, lost legacy started off as a DLC for uncharted for doing the timeline. Right. It was 2013 was last of us. 2016 yes yes uncharted for 2017 was lost legacy 2020 was last was part two and then somewhere in there was the last was part one and all this shit right but if you're talking about a new release a brand new game it's been since 2020 it's 2026 we're talking about it's intended for 2027 that shit ain't realistically coming out to 2028 and i know people get people hate when i make this point of like oh but bless they're working on a multiplayer game that got canceled of course are taking longer i just think that's no matter how you cut it i think that's insane that they've gotten this long thankfully they're a prestige studio under a under a big corporation that's able to fund them but yeah i i look at it you know i often look through many things as a sport through the sports lens and it's like yeah you always hear stories about you know the the 90s dallas cowboys and jimmy johnson going coaching all these superstars and and anybody else can be late yeah or and nobody else can be late yeah michael irvin you could fall asleep during the meetings and i won't care like you know you are the superstar you get the special treatment you've been around for a while you put up numbers we know what you're capable of i still also just think about us being in a completely different gaming landscape than we were even two to three years ago dude if playstation didn't look at their studios and go hey we want some we want more multiplayer stuff from y 'all like multiplayer games make more live service games make money if you make a live service game you'll probably make this much and we'll uplift your studio or whatever however they pitched it to those studios if playstation doesn't do that and instead maybe just looks at third-party studios or studios that are already making those games i know they did that with bungie but that failed spectacularly but if they did more of that as opposed to going naughty dog blue point like uh london studio like all the studios that they that they had working on these multiplayer games this generation would look so much different on the ps5 side like it would be the meme of the utopia yeah of like this society of playstation didn't put 60 of their budget toward live service games yeah we'd probably we'd probably already have played intergalactic and next year we'd be talking about last of this part three or whatever uncharted four or i guess five uncharted five or whatever what a massive miss man it's a weird generation story number five ubisoft gives free pc copies to xbox owners of select games this is kade onder at ign ub is giving xbox owners free access to some of their games on pc today ubisoft and xbox revealed a new expansion to their ongoing partnership starting immediately those who own the following games on xbox will get them for free on pc through ubisoft connect by august 4th those games are assassin's creed mirage valhalla of avatar frontiers of pandora far cry 6 immortals phoenix rising prince of persia the lost crown riders republic skull and bones the crew 2 the crew motor fest rainbow six extraction and rainbow six siege the games should appear in your ubisoft connect library by next week so long as your accounts are linked if you happen to purchase these games on xbox later you will get them on PC automatically.

54:13Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Unfortunately, this doesn't go both ways. If you buy one of these games on PC first, you will not get it on Xbox. If you're someone who previously played on console but made the jump to PC, this is a great benefit. Is Odyssey not there because Odyssey recently had a bit of a bump because of the movie? Like, did they not include it here because of that? I'm just wondering. Because I saw a lot of people, my timeline was filled with a lot of people going, I'm booting up. i saw yeah i saw that i'm kind of into this i want to play this and you know the one that i didn't give enough time to back in the day or whatever yeah and i'm just looking at like you know i guess um origins isn't there either or whatever it's like the newer generation i don't yeah i don't think that's the case but like i think it's a funny theory i love the idea of like the team responsible for this program call you know calling up the whoever for approval and then then getting approval on all the games except for odyssey we hey we just sold 150 copies yeah they're like no we can double dip on audits do not give it out for christ for nolan cooked we're selling these things um cool that's good for people who own xbox who want to play these games on pc let me tell you man let me tell you something smart man man riders republic i feel like only i played that game and i'm upset about it because i liked my time with riders republic i'd like more riders republic and i know and like this isn't me giving the advice to ubisoft to make more writers republic because i'm sure it sold negative copies i'm just saying i personally enjoyed that game a lot and i'm saddened that that game didn't get more love or just more just more you know what i mean i'm sad that game wasn't bigger wasn't better all that stuff but i liked it dearly when i uh was recently trying to capture footage for the episode we did on a friday of like, what's that video game setting, Andy?

56:08I opened up the Ubisoft launcher because Ubisoft does a great job on their tech side.

56:13Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah. Avatar, Frontiers of Pandora, any of the more recent Assassin's Creed's, freaking Star Wars. Outlaws. Outlaws. They do an awesome job on the tech side. So I wanted to re-download those games. Some of them, I have them on the Ubisoft launcher. Kevin, can you bring up this in assets? This was the game that I could never remember that we saw and it existed for about a week. Is it the Marvel game? Yes. Yeah. Do you remember what it's called? There it is. Battlecore Arena. It was not called Battlecore Arena. No shots is called Battlecore Arena. That is the ball game where you were just some balls and you're...

56:55I would have told you ball destruction.

57:01Blessing Adeoye Jr.:now this would be a fun game showdown category even though i'm gonna spoil it like guess the ubisoft can you name this ubisoft game that definitely came out because roller champions is on the list hyperscape hyperscape oh my god even if i showed you rainbow six extraction i feel like there's a half a chance that people might not yeah no that one i'll always remember because that's the one where mike got really screwed over on fantasy with extraction yeah that was before i was part of the fantasy league thing when it was like x cast and and ps i love you and games cast or whatever and mike picked up uh rainbow six siege extraction rainbow six extraction yeah and it got like an 80 and we were just like man this game's way better than 80 like you got screwed up extraction extraction was a great time dude it really was oh no man it was a great i remember playing extraction with y 'all and being like 82 yeah i was just like 80 is like exactly where it should be if not whatever um who made rocket rocket champions oh my god remember this one yeah i feel like that might have been ea i think it was but it gives ubisoft vibes it really does rocket champions what's another one it was an arena kind of everybody had rocket launchers yeah flying and shit like that god rainbow six extraction rocket was it rocket arena no way they called it rocket arena that's what it was called it was called rocket arena damn rainbow six extraction 72 on metacritic yeah no that sounds more accurate to me actually that's crazy that sounds way more accurate they fucked him i was gonna say the the i don't think the world looks back favorably upon rainbow six they fucked him over that was a decent game that's called ex defiant ex defiant ex defiant was good though ex defiant was good like i i'll ex defiant is like a lot of these multiplayer games that if they came out 10 years ago they would be the hottest thing ever they They would live on forever.

58:51Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Like if we were ranking Ubisoft games that came and went, Ubisoft games that they tried and then died, the tried and died Ubisoft games, X Defined might be top of the list. I got Roller Champions up there too. I like Roller Champions. I would say - I think the world was wrong about it. I think Hyperscape was so damn cool in the concept that the world, the ring was like parts of the city and they would fall. I don't remember that So like You know The ring in Fortnite Oh yeah Cause wasn't it like the floor Yeah The whole The whole neighborhood Was slowly dissolving Yeah And then it would slowly disappear And you had to leave Or else you would just fall To your death Or whatever And it was just such a cool concept Man Let me tell you Let me tell you something Let me tell you something If any of these So you're telling me Spiderman You're telling me If any of these games Were able to actually become a success And save Ubisoft that'd be such a big thing.

59:49Blessing Adeoye Jr.:That'd be huge. But if I wanted something smaller say the tiniest news I need to know about where would I go? You'd go to our last story the Wii News channel where we cover all the small news items you need to know about. We gotta do a Ubisoft draft. I think that's what it is. A Ubisoft non-AAA draft. Or like it has to be Ubisoft games but it can't be Assassin's Creed, Far Cry. Non-core. Like non-core. Non-core Ubisoft draft. It's my first pick. I mean it's But what's core? I was going to say, because it's Ghost Recon. That's core. That's too core. Jon Bernthal was in there. Let me tell you something.

1:00:25Blessing Adeoye Jr.:All these ghosts are going to be reconning all over the place. Steep, I feel like, is core enough. But weirdly enough, I don't think Riders Republic is core. Those were both Ubisoft. Wow. Yeah, Riders Republic is the spiritual successor to Steep. They were like, we're going to take the snow out of it. Ah. Yeah. Same team. store number six is we news playstation plus essential games for august 2026 have been announced you're getting dying light 2 stay human reloaded edition big walk and signalis and then a bonus for it marvel tolcon fighting souls playstation plus pack neil 3 dlc hell rising launches august 19th and also altered rain just resubscribed for 108 months oh hell yeah prime thank you for using your prime on us make sure you're using your amazon prime even if you're on the youtube side hop on over give us that prime who's that prime keep the companies you love alive from gamatsu super evil megacorp will release a physical edition of tmnt splintered fate for switch 2 on october 27th as well as new downloadable content uh to be revealed soon the developer announced aladdin x has revealed puzzle game suika game for ps5 and pc via steam sorry not revealed they've released this week a game for ps5 and pc uh for three dollars the immortal john triptych launches august 27th damio cross dungeons and dragons battle marked is coming to xbox in 2026 good game i regret not playing more of we gotta play that again oh i'm down i never played it we did it once for a sponsored thing and i was like i want to go back to this damn game i'm so down because i played damio with playstation vr 2 because it was one of the launch games and I was like this is neat and then they did this whole D &D thing and I'm like I'm missing out it's it was so much cooler to be in a game where you're like hey this is a quick little campaign and we don't have to dedicate like all of our time in our lives to Baldur's Gate 3 as much as I love that yeah it's a way more simplified version of it it's oh I regret not going back to it and then Andy bought Citizen Sleeper 1 and 2 physical editions on Fangamer yeah Kevin can you read the link there you go hell yeah come on fan gamer has the physical editions for nintendo switch 2 for citizen sleeper 2 and then it has the ps5 version of the bundle pack of citizen sleeper 1 and 2 shout out fan gamer i love the work y 'all do and what's really really nice this isn't like a collector's edition because you see all this other shit you're like oh i'm gonna get like a big ass package no it's just like what used to come in the box yeah like i love that type of all the little trading cards and the foldable map and the little like silly cute little drawings it's all just inside of the cartridge or inside of like the plastic box i love awesome i'm i miss those days hell yeah and that is it for we news let's knock out some super chats real quick before we get out of here mike like music says my girlfriend asked spider-man at universal studios if he shits upside down and the guy broke character.

1:03:18Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I feel like it'd be hard to break the Spider-Man character. Because I feel like if you just laugh at that, that's something Peter Parker would do. Gerardo is cool. Says, not all pee-pee time is poo-poo time, but all poo time is pee-pee time. Just go with one and two, man. Come on, we're not children. Yeah, no, we don't do that. I don't like that. I don't like saying those. Chaos Killer says, third time's the charm, Andy. Do you plan your paths? I'm assuming they've asked this before and I didn't see it, so sorry about that. if this is the third time you're asking this. Do you plan your paths in Slay the Spire or do you just go with the flow?

1:03:49I normally do plan my paths depending on what sort of perks I have. If I have a perk where it's like anytime you fight an elite boss, you get extra turns and you get extra strength or whatever the hell, then I will plan my paths to be like, all right, I want to take on elite bosses here. Or one of them, there's a perk where like if you kill five elite bosses, you get a certain thing then I will try to plan those paths accordingly. Or every time you enter a shopkeep, you get plus 15 health. So it's like, I, yes, I will definitely plan my shit unless I don't have any perks that really help any of that out.

1:04:26Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Then I just kind of go with the flow and go my way. Luke Meads, 8767 says birthday tax. It's my 35th birthday from here in Victoria, BC. Been an everyday listener since 2020. Thanks for all the amazing work you do. Dang. Thank you. thank you happy birthday happy birthday gnarly chuggets says good morning blessing andy if you love loba as pan am you'll love the design for uh for vena from warframe man let me tell you about warframe fans they'll tell you anything to make you play their game i'm gonna look it up i can be like man i love french toast and they'll be like oh you feel like french toast warframe has a french toast update i'm like do they you can't just say everything to get me into Warframe.

1:05:08Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I do like, man, let me tell you though. Let me tell you something. I did play quite a bit of Warframe. I don't know if y 'all knew this. I had a Warframe era before it even came out on PlayStation 4. Like when it was in PC. Damn. Yeah, when it was in PC beta and I didn't have money to buy video games. What the hell were you playing on like a netbook or what? I was playing on a laptop. I was playing on my laptop a PC beta of Warframe. Like Dell Inspiron? I probably put in like 15 to 20 hours in Warframe. Yeah. I never knew that about you. Yeah. Learn new stuff every day. Come on. jerk face jake says bless yourself and tim made a great influential list anyways thanks for all the great content guys also can borderlands be influential top 50 damn i would say yeah looter shooters man come on i'll say top 100 think about what it did for just like for just like is that not diablo i guess a lot of shooters yeah yeah because i would have gone diablo and like maybe that route it was the first one to do like a shooter form though you know because do we get destiny without borderlands i don't think so no i don't think so that's big yeah top 50 though is a lot yeah i might be one of those that once you see how everything that's i would have to see how the list looks yeah i think there's an argument but i'll top 100 i think you would have to put borderlands in there because it gets to a point where i'll i'll name 28 games that are going to be my top 10 sort of thing you know what i mean like you just kind of forget how many things that there are and you go oh shit actually is that gonna you know what i was thinking about what's that i was looking at my like just possible top 10 for this year and i ended up booting up a game last night that i was like is this actually gonna make my top 10 or to horizon six oh like you're questioning it was just like it was a shoe-in yeah there was no debate when this game came out oh yeah and i think i was just pulled in a lot of different directions So I never got to have Quality time with it Where I sit down We go out for dinner And we have some wine And we go back home Put on the candles Snuggle up on the couch Maybe it's raining outside You know what's happening I'm going to turn you on I'm going to put on some X-Men 96 Or 97 Are we still talking about Forza?

1:07:24are we talking about forza horizon 69 but i had the exact same thing yeah forza horizon i played

1:07:30Blessing Adeoye Jr.:it's the thing where we played a forza horizon before and so when you put out forza horizon 6 i play some of it and i'm like hell yeah this is awesome this is so fun and then i fall off because i've had that experience so it's not like i'm chasing that high as much as i did previously but anytime i do i'm like oh this is amazing when you streamed it during the charity stream yeah the hour that me you and tim played it's like god damn when i was testing out the steam machine at my house on the beanbag chair testing out the steam machine i was like let me just boot up forza and see like what i can kind of mess with and then i sat there for two and a half hours man because i was just like god this game is so good yeah why's my mouth watering thinking about forza think about that candle night um jerk face jake also says audio primary listener here just finished the influential games episode from yesterday the list should have been called foundational i do want to uh make a public apology to jerica the one only jerica chew yeah um jerica on uh on their podcast was doing a podcast about you know kind of like a kind of a kind of funny court but it was about mario sunshine and um there were there were looking for detractors out there and greg miller asked me hey would you respond to jericho with this and i said yeah you know send me a send me a dm or something unfortunately the dm was sent one was sent on twitter which i don't have the app installed on my phone for twitter for my own mental health sake smart and also the the the dm was received as we got to the movie theater and so like i was just kind of like you know not really looking at anything like that so massive apologies but yes mara sunshine um it's just a just a massive pile of doo-doo kind of funny.com slash you're wrong is where you can write and let us know what we got wrong as we got it wrong so we can correct it for those watching later on youtube and listening later on podcast services around the globe uh i'm not reading that one because that is a fun fact and not a year wrong tundra boy writes in and says re5 has sold 19 million on console alone, not including PC sales numbers since Capcom has never released that data.

1:09:42Blessing Adeoye Jr.:OG RE4 has sold 15 million across all platforms. And then he said, Agent was added to RE6 in a patch a couple months after release. Originally, Ada Wong's campaign was intended to be single player only. That's why Agent is never acknowledged in the campaign. He's just a dude. That's so funny that they don't even speak to him. Yeah, yeah. It's hilarious. Wow. Well, Andy, that was a good episode. Kind of funny games daily a slow news day but a big just hanging out day which honestly are my favorite episodes kind of funny great discussions about video games i think we're i think we're downplaying the importance of this episode this is like kfgd is not all about the news that's a lie it is all about the news i told you about loba and you told me about loba being pan am yeah and for me that's news that's big news that could have been story number one you told me earlier we got a games cast after this we're going to talk about every game coming out in august so get hyped for that and then we have more coming throughout the day but that's happening later what's happening now is i'm saying goodbye to indy and so until next time game daily
