0:50We'll love all this and more because this is Kind of Funny Games Daily.
1:00What's up everybody. Welcome to kind of funny games daily for Monday, June 22nd, 2026. I'm one of your host, Greg Miller alongside the master of hype snow bike, Mike, and he's wearing the Xbox film and TV shirt. Just like I promised him from my SGF swag bag. And that's all he'll be getting. I want a swag bag. I, you know, I'm so happy. Thank you, Greg. You're welcome. Good morning, Greg. Happy Monday. How are you? I'm good. How are you? I'm wonderful. Had a great weekend. Playing a lot of video games. Finishing up Zelda Twilight Princess. All done. Now, is that the best one? Is that how it works?
1:37The newest one is the best one every time? You know, Greg, I want to say it's the best one. Okay. I appreciate that. Wind Waker will stay on top. Oh! All right. A man of taste. I like that. I like that quite a bit. Twilight Princess slides into the three spots. Okay. Ocarina of Time 2. Majora's Mask 4. Now, at any moment, these goods flip. but that's where it's at right now. I appreciate that. I appreciate that. How about yourself? How was your weekend? It was fantastic. I had a great one. Little Father's Day weekend. Not too shabby. Aunt and uncle in town from Wednesday to Saturday was our final day with them.
2:07Love that. So we got to show them all the stops. You know, we went out, took Benny to jujitsu. I always want to say taekwondo, but I know Nick gets really mad. Audience gets really mad when I call it jujitsu, taekwondo. You know what I mean? Like I just see him in his gi rolling around, mounting people, closed guard. He knows what's up. He's all about it. And then, yeah, went out for a lovely little lunch, the farmer's market, et cetera. Then, of course, yesterday, Father's Day, where Jen gave me the gift every father wants. Got this kid out of the fucking house, left me alone. I had the energy then to play video games for a couple hours at top, Greg.
2:42You know what I mean? Not it's 930. I got to fight to stay awake, Greg. Got to play some video games. Then we went out for a nice little picnic. Went to the skate park, of course, as you do on Father's Day. then we came home played some video games uh watched superman had homemade pizza then ben melted down because he was way too tired but we put him to bed then jen said it's father's day i'm gonna give you the gift i know you want i said what's that babe she said you can go downstairs and play video games uninterrupted i said thank you sounds like a radical day it was a radical day radical day of course i was then met with the reality of being dad which i love everyone knows there's no shade being thrown here but i'm playing as you know vampire the masquerade bloodlines to okay 30 hours into this vampire rpg yesterday i get to the end like two chapters left here we go the real villain shows itself this is what's happening they're burning somebody alive in the sun i'm like we are heating up this is the fanat and then i get the text from jen ben's calling you like and i got up there ben's nightlight had burned out its light earlier in the evening he woke up no lights on it was a big thing i had to go get up there dad to which then i was just i was there i was you know laid out right next to him just sitting there okay the rest of the way it fell asleep there as you do.
3:52And then today at my desk, I'll finish vampire. And I'm very excited about that. Speaker 2 05 005 Sounds like a successful father's day. Speaker 2 05 It was. Did you have fun with your kids? Speaker 2 05 Yeah. Me and the kids had a great time. We sat down and played an old school one. You know what I mean? We played gauntlet legends. That's what I teach my kids. You play on the N64. Okay. None of these fancy, fancy, high graphics, 4k 60. No, we play gauntlet legends on the N64. Speaker 2 05 That's what you do. That's what you got to do. You got to raise them right. Yeah. Ben, my favorite thing is that Ben always wants to start Lego Batman with me.
4:23Oh, he or not start. I mean, to play more Lego Batman with me, but then he turned it on. He was still mid Spider-Man. He's like, ah, let me play some Spider-Man. You go for it. I'll play. I'll play the vampire game next to you. I'm my, my rock. And then he's like, he's like, all right, let's switch over. And he always, he's like, actually dad, I want to do some Lego star Wars. And he knows that doesn't like, I don't like Lego star Wars. So I was like, you know, he go for it. He played that. And then it was time for Superman and pizza before you look at you. We're out there. I'm making this right.
4:45You know what of me. We're doing the damn thing. Greg, you said story number one is redacted. It is no longer redacted. What the heck is going on today? Everybody it's happening. Steam machine reviews are popping. There is an official price out or at least one blessings giving me the update. So what's happening is we don't know ladies, gentlemen, and NBs. We don't know the price. We don't know the review valve. Very nice. And we are getting a steam machine tomorrow apparently, but they said for the core group of reviewers. We had to keep it much smaller than we wanted. So I actually, we don't know the price.
5:17We don't know the reviews. We don't know anything. Blessing live updating things, but we muted the chat. We've hidden it. We, I steam just says, all I have is blessing say, warrior 64 has a price. And I know IGN has a review up. Cause I went and saw that just make sure redacted. I don't want to, I don't want to check for a pre-order right now. I don't know. I don't know, but I wouldn't do it yet. I wouldn't do it yet. I don't know. So that's where we, let me give you the rigmarole. And then we'll start with story number one, but we're going to do our final predictions of what the price is. Because if you didn't know, this is Kind of Funny Games Daily.
5:48Each and every weekday, we run you through the nerdy video game news you need to know about live on twitch.tv slash kindoffunnygames, youtube.com slash kindoffunnygames, and podcast services around the globe. We have dates public. You need to go to patreon.com slash kind of funny so that you can get in there and say, what is going on with that there? Top 100. 6:53Playing for the Planet is partnered with the UN or whatever. So you can get out there. You can do that. It'll be live tomorrow all day. We'll talk about that. It's in the buzz. Yada, yada, yada. For now, let's begin the show with what is and forever will be the Roper Report. Time for some news. Five items on the Roper Report. A big dozen. Five items on the Roper Report. Story number one, the Steam Machine reviews and price are up. Michael Howard. Yeah. It is a goddamn bloodbath out there. You got the RAM. You got the memory. You got the AI. you got Mr. Wonderful wanting to fucking go to the Great Salt Lake where they don't have enough water and put an AI data center because everything's fucking horrible and we have to live in this timeline for some reason you got goddamn Xbox complaining that they nobody wants to, we can't make more systems because their fucking parent company keeps fucking milking the you know what I won't get into I want to know right now Steam Machine was announced late last year we all said what a great idea PC you can plug in it'll be like a Steam Deck for a TV amazing and they said it'll be out in spring and then they watch a fucking goddamn plane crash of a technological environment go down and they said you know what we'll get back to you we'll get back to you on all this stuff right now what are we paying for a steam machine my safe bet the 512 okay you have 999 the two terabyte 1399 that's my safe bet but i want to rock the world I want to shatter it.
8:32Steam comes out and they say, no, no. 512? Yeah. 699. No way. No way. Two terabytes? 1199. Gabe just bought that fucking yacht on top of the mansion or vice versa. He's already got a yacht. He doesn't need another one. I mean, you don't get richer by giving away the fucking things to everybody. The keys to the kingdom here. What do you got, Greg? I don't know. That's the scariest part. So it's 512, right? Versus two gigs or terabytes, two terabytes. Yeah, when I was reading up the previews from Digital Foundry and IGN, it looks like those are the two numbers they were throwing around. Man, that$9.99 is definitely the sweet spot they'd love to hit for either of them, for one of them, both, you know what I mean, whatever, for where we're at.
9:13Well, and so Steam Decks just went up too, right? And what did they just go up to? I can't look anymore. $6.49? No. It was something. Barry, you remember? Can you Google for me what's the Steam Deck cost for right now? Sorry, Barry. Thank you, Barry. Thank you, sir. Welcome back, Bear. Good to have you. They just checked that price up so bad, though. You know what I mean?
9:32Nick Scarpino:Currently, a Steam Deck OLED that is$512 is$789, and a 1 terabyte is$949. That's a lot of money, Greg. It is, but it's got a screen. Does that help or hurt? I don't know. I mean, that's not the technology that's really causing all the problems. Yeah, yeah. Shoot your shot. Just to be different than you, because I do like$999 for the little guy. Yeah. I'll say the little guy is...
9:5910 99 oh a good tax return 11 99 i thought about it i thought about it and then y 'all go you said 13 99 for your other yeah i'll go 14 99 just to be different just to be different barrett can i see let's find out the live reveal of what the price of the steam machine is okay 512 is 1049 oh a little bit more i mean it's 49 40 okay technically 50 more than you you predicted yeah yeah so 1049 for the steam machine uh 512 and that comes with a controller uh seemingly not oh no
10:39No control here. That's an extra hundred. Oh my God. And two terabytes. 1428. 1428. Okay. So on par with a lot that we've been discussing for the past, what, six months since the reveal and the preparation for this, it's not alarming as we've kind of talked this up for so long. it's alarming because it is like the reality setting end of like oh this is it right and that means the next time when we talk playstation and xbox we're gonna have these same reactions of oh they're up there let's jump into the reviews let's do it number one the steam machine review and uh news roundup thank you blessing for working overtime getting these in we'll start at ign where jacklyn thomas writes it's an eight out of ten great at 10 49 and 13 49 for the two terabyte model, the Steam Machine seems like it'd be hard to recommend to most people.
11:36And while that's true for console faithfuls, the Steam Machine's price makes it an incredible entry-level gaming PC, especially if all the drivers and settings tweaking have turned you off in the past. At the end of the day, this is a gaming PC that most people are going to be able to just plug into their TVs and get right into the game. And really, that's what the Steam Machine was always meant to be. Sean Hollister at The Verge writes, The Steam Machine is the most ambitious game console I've ever played. My first day with the Steam Machine was a mess. Instead of enjoying a worry-free game console, I spent hours troubleshooting what felt like a finicky PC.
12:12That's because the Steam Machine is a PC with a very important twist. Since the Magnavox Odyssey that came out in 1972, game consoles have been built with the same basic goal, to effortlessly play proprietary games on a TV screen. Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft have spent decades essentially selling the same product. A few consoles could do more, but the formula you know and love remains. Buy box, plug into TV, insert game, play. The Steam Machine aims to be something bigger. It's a vision of a box with fewer restrictions and an almost endless catalog of games for those willing to spend nearly twice the price of a PlayStation 5.
12:51It's because the Steam Machine is, let's say, a PC+. Plus, it's a PC that acts more like a console than any you've used before. It's incredibly cool and quiet, so much smaller than a PS5, surprisingly smooth, and completely navigatable with any modern gamepad you own. Oh, okay, there you go. But, I'm sorry, you don't need a mouse, keyboard, or even Valve's own touchpad-equipped Steam controller to download, launch, or play games. Joysticks do the job. It's the best attempt I've seen at a PC that actually fits into a living room and far better than anything I could build from parts. But is it good enough for$1 ,049?
13:30That depends on what you actually expect this PC to do and whether Valve manages to reduce some of the lingering friction before it winds up at your front door. For better or worse, the Steam Machine isn't ready for the console wars just yet. Buy box, plug into TV, insert game, play is not yet the reality. and then oh this is the breakdown of their little review here the good delightfully small incredibly cool and quiet play pc games on tv without mouse and keyboard the bad nearly twice the price of playstation 5 for playstation 5 performance have to manually configure games can't yet trust it to sleep okay love that uh let's read from the actual steam blog now okay steam machine is launching in four different options that you can sign up for beginning today.
14:18So yeah, you got to be logged. You better go. I mean, they already said I was talking about one, but yeah, yeah, yeah. Steam Machine 512 gigabytes, as we already said, is$1049. However, there's a bundle, Steam Machine 512 and the Steam Controller, that'll set you back$1 ,128 US dollars. Steam Machine 2 terabytes all by itself is$1 ,349 US dollars. However, you can bundle the 2 terabytes with the Steam Controller for$1 ,428. Both the Steam Machine 2TB and 2TB bundle options come with two additional faceplates, red fabric, and solid walnut. Oh, watch out. All prices are inclusive of VAT tax where applicable.
15:01This is still, we're deep into the Steam stuff here, and I'm just reading what Bless gave me, okay? So we're learning together, everybody. I love breaking news. We have details on how to sign up for a chance to reserve yours below. Since this has proven to be a weird time to launch hardware, we thought this would be a good opportunity to share more about how we got here. Steam Machine, like our other hardware products, is made up of many components that we source from manufacturers around the world. The price at which we sell our hardware is a direct result of the cost of these components. We felt like we had a good understanding of how these costs might change over time when we first started sourcing them for the Steam Machine back in 2023.
15:37That understanding was born from the many years of data we all have about the evolution of PC hardware prices. Primarily, that it tends to get cheaper over time as new technology arrives. Over the past year or so, that has changed quickly and significantly, most visibly for RAM and storage components. There are a variety of reasons, all of which are affecting hardware products everywhere. The overall effect is that our original goal for the price of the Steam machine is no longer viable. So the prices we're sharing today reflect the state of the world for manufacturing, or more accurately, it reflects the price of components as we've secured them over the past six months.
16:16Price wasn't the only thing impacted by all of this. Availability was as well. There were periods where we found we couldn't source some of the components at all at any price. More than anything else, this has impacted the number of units we've been able to produce for launch. in an effort to improve the purchase experience and limit resellers, we're implementing a reservation system. Starting right now, you can sign up for the Steam Machine model slash bundle you're interested in. If you're busy now, no problem. You can sign up anytime before Thursday, June 25th at 10 a.m. Pacific. At that time, we will close signups and do a one-time randomization to determine the reservation and waitlist order.
16:57Based on the reservation order, you will receive an email, on June 25th, indicating two things. One, you've been added to the reservation queue and a steam machine has been reserved in your name. As units become available for shipment, people in the reservation queue will receive an email with the option to purchase. We'll send the first batch of those starting Monday, June 29th, and we'll continue to go through the reservation queue as units become available. Second one, you've been added to the wait list and we'll let you know when more units become available. You like that system, Greg? What do you think?
17:31I signed up. I'm going to sign up too. Yeah. I mean, but it's like, honestly, right now I'm signing up because I want to think about it later. I guess I have time, but it's like right now. My, my gumption is to jump in, sign it and just then worry about, am I actually doing this later on? Because I think, do I like the reservation system? Mike? Sure. Guess what? I don't think there's a good way to do this. There's no, we've looked at this time and time and time again. Every time we go through this of like Amazon crashing, Nintendo doesn't do this. I'm waiting on an email from PlayStation that like nothing is good.
18:03There's no way to do to fight the fight in a way that makes sense. So, Hey, everybody who wants to throw your name in the hat and we'll pick it from there, especially in a weird ass time where we would love to make more of these machines. We can't or haven't been able to. So this is how we're doing it. I get it. I get that. I think it's better than most in terms of like, okay, cool. I think there's going to be plenty of people that are resellers that are in that thing. Again, for me, it kind of jumps into that usual launch day thing where what, like, for switch to i forget how many i ended up buying right not to flip but i knew my friends and family would need them as well and so this is the thing of like well yeah i'm gonna throw my name in the hat here if it gets pulled do i still buy it probably have to ask around do i want it i need to debate that and work my way through all that and stuff like that no like like you said it gives me a chance to take a moment read some more reviews see where i want to be i'll put myself put my name in the hat see where i'm at when i get that email if i'm in the mood but yeah it seems like hey we're trying to make these as fast as we can yeah we're not quite ready for the mass exodus of every website known to man is selling these right now right so then where do you want to come at it michael we're we're tackled here caught off guard of course breaking news today fantastic you got the price to talk about yeah the eight out of ten from ig and what we've read top level i'll try to source a few more comments and reviews out there and then of course yes this reservation system but i guess let's just everything i just read i took it out of my mouth I shoved it into your ear.
19:26Yeah. Where is your head at for Snowbike Mike? Of course, you just spent$1 ,500 on an Xbox sign. So we know money's tight as you figure out what the next. When you look at this, is this a I'm still in day if I get my reservation pulled? The steam machine is such a weird thing for me as someone who already has enough consoles and a PC. Yeah. Where it's like, I don't know where I fall right this moment, right? And like hearing the price, seeing the eight out of 10 from IGN, this team will review what I'll get to hear hands-on from this team of where I'm at. Right. It's like, I'm not jumping up going, I need this right now.
20:06This is not something that I think I need right this moment. It is something though, that I think I've grown into, right? Sure. As someone who is a big time console player moved to PC because that's where a lot of early access games were. a lot of those friend slap games that I wanted to fell in love with steam and all of their sales I've become really a steam diehard guy and so for me when I think of the steam machine that is something that I want right I do want a pc in the living room that has my growing library that does offer the games that I don't find that often on the console day and date with certain things so yeah for me I think the steam machine is at a weird moment for me because I guess I want it but i don't need it right now right right right right and i think that's again where we're going to find ourselves over and over and over again with gaming hardware going forward where it is the idea right of like this has been the concern this has been what people have been reading out of the tea leaves is that our hobby we've known for a while is only going to get more exponentially expensive when you do that you obviously price people out of it but you also So are these companies that then just start targeting while I'm targeting the people I already have, I'm targeting the people with disposable income.
21:23I'm targeting the people who put this level of tech above all else. You know what I mean? Where it is like, do I want this to be 599? Of course. What are we talking about? You know what I mean? Like that, that would be the dream of seeing them come out and try to fight that way. But at a thousand dollars, right? Is it like, okay, is that make or break for me? Cause I am the guy, you know, that I love my, you've seen me in the past year go really hard into the PCR. art it's a kid's sake uh you know with both my uh rag ally and then the uh razor blade uh 16 right and i love that laptop but it does sound like a jet engine running vampire the masquerade blood lines too you know what i mean it is as much as i like taking the ease of a portability of a laptop like it is okay cool i'm packing up taking home packing up taking home but like it'd be nice to just have this box underneath the tv downstairs now granted i do have a tower at home that i could do the same thing with and this is really where you get into of like for who we are how much does the convenience matter to you yeah because we are talking like i have a fucking a rig at home probably better than this that sits underneath jen's computer right now that i was using forever right so if i really am oh man if i'm gonna lament carrying a laptop to a different station every night well then why not just plug that thing in and sure i have to turn it on and put in my passcode and use a keyboard and mouse yeah it isn't this streamlined you know nice little box experience but I think the biggest thing about like figuring all this out is where your finances lie and if that's you know you look at that is$1 ,300 you know what I mean going to be the convenience factor to go do that I like you know from the IGN right here the steam machines price makes it an incredible entry-level gaming PC right yeah depends on are you looking to getting the PC gaming right I go to NZXT and I can buy an NZXT PC for$1 ,700.
23:11So a little bit more than that, but am I getting more bang for my buck from this? Am I looking at a little bit cheaper? I guess when you look at the 512, right? For a thousand, that's$700 cheaper. Are people looking to get into PC gaming? Are you also not looking to get the full PC experience? It depends on where you're at. But if you ask me, this isn't for me right now, no. In the chat, of course, people always want to come at me for no reason. I Rowan says, does Greg know the controllers work on towers too? You don't need the keyboard and mouse. You do to log in. That's what I'm saying. Like to boot this.
23:43I mean, if I want to turn off all restrictions on my PC, obviously not have to log in, I guess. Yes. Then I could have it boot up, go straight into steam, yada, yada, yada. But even then I, as somebody who's playing vampire, the master, how many times can I say this in this show? Of course I have to, when that stupid launcher opens up, I got to go to the mouse pad and go up there and click on the launcher. And then I'm in, but yes, I'm well aware, obviously you could, but it's not designed around that experience or whatever. Darth Doobie says, not a keyboard, though. How are you inputting your fucking login code?
24:11To get, like, when it pops up and it says Windows user Greg, that's what I'm talking about. I'm not turning that shit off. That tower gets stolen. Everybody's got my porn. Not in this lifetime. I want to jump back to that IGN review, alright? Because they have a section of it called expensive, or is it? The Steam Machine price has been a constant topic. They go through the components, they do the thing. They jump in, of course, talking about the RAM itself, right? Thanks to the ongoing RAM crisis, fueled by seemingly every company needing to build a hyperscale data center, the 16GB of RAM and the Steam Machine alone would cost nearly$250 by itself.
24:43And with that in mind, it makes it a little easier to understand how Valve landed on the$1049 price tag for the 1512GB version and the $1349 for the 2TB model, even if it is a bit hard to recommend. That makes the Steam Machine around $400 to$450 more expensive than the Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 to start. That price probably disqualifies Valve's new mini gaming PC in the eyes of many console faithfuls, but it makes a lot of sense for its intended purpose of being an entry level gaming PC. Because, as much as that $1049 price tag is shocking at first glance, Valve is keeping its word about keeping the price competitive.
25:21I took a moment to price out a similarly specced gaming PC on PC Part Picker, and it ended up being around$1050. And that's with a full-size ATX PC case rather than the Steam Machine's tiny little cube whether you're just getting into game pc gaming and need a low effort starting point or if you already have a huge steam library and you need a mini gaming pc for your living room the steam machine is arguably arguably a pretty good deal especially because unlike most gaming pcs the steam machine is ready to play games as soon as it boots up the first time and well time is money so again talking of what this thing is supposed to be and what it's doing and how it's kicking it all around yeah yeah i mean i don't know i saw a comment in the chat it's like if If you're investing in one of these, why aren't you just spending the extra cash to go out and buy a larger PC and just going all in on the PC gaming side?
26:11Every single person is going to be different and unique. It will be interesting to see who buys this. What are their, hey, this is why I jumped into it, right? Is it simply I need an entry PC. It's my first time. I want to do this without the hoops and all that. Or is it, hey, I just want to get my PC gaming in the living room and I don't want to drag the giant rig over there. I want to get away from the computer chair. I think 100 % and again you are right Mike there are a million different reasons why I'd love to hear I know you maybe are chilling on it based on what you hear but what your reasoning was before but again for me because this is what has kept me away from PC gaming for so long the reason I'm here right now playing so many games on PC is very much the rise of handheld PCs being like yo just fucking play it it works it does its thing yeah I have to update an app every so often or whatever blah blah and i'm talking both the steam uh deck which i had for a long time before i gave it to a fan and then my rog ally x which then became my xbox rog ally x where i'm like holy shit this is so great i love that this works which then opened the door to me talking to razor and being like i'd like to try a gaming pc that's pre-built i have absolutely no desire to get the case to get the cards to play it all i see people you know like henry cavill laying on gary witta laying all this shit on a table and be like i'm gonna spend the weekend assembling this and then inevitably 13 18 hours in there's a post like oh fucking the thing isn't talking to me i don't want any of that shit so the razor here's a laptop that just goes awesome and to the point i'm bringing it to my desk and having it on the side like a right next to my playstation 5 and then i'm taking it home and putting it on the the um stand i have there right next to my xbox switch and playstation so it's like what yeah i would love rather than a laptop that again i'm going down there i'm letting it scan my face i'm then walking off i didn't do this i'd rather just be a box that boots up and goes if that's possible you know that's what they're trying to do here again it's how much that worth to you i don't think at all right now it's worth this to me but again i i as somebody who deletes games all the time i know how many people want to keep games on their systems you know what i mean like i could get i could go i get by with a 10 50 you know what i mean like that 512 yeah 512 i don't need the two terabytes to keep everything on there that i'm using because i'm always the way we play games here right as you blaze through something you delete it and it's on to the next review blaze through delete it so it's like i could see that working will i do that i don't know you know we're going to get one tomorrow apparently and when we do i'll be interested to kick the tires on it and see you know we're all going to have it hooked up to the tv and decide what we think of it i love hearing that i mean i like bringing my steam library i like my steam games that's the big selling point for me yeah i like getting those games at a sweet discount from the steam sales all the time i like playing the games that i can't find on console and so if i can do stuff like that at a cheap price point that's an entry pc that probably would have spoke to me 10 years ago before i bought the big nzxt ps yeah pc and went all in on it uh let's get some super chats in here because obviously we're all dealing and rocking and rolling with what's going on here right now uh the first one that came in on all this was side of fries who said steam machine less than the xbox series s like but it was a less than symbol oh so i think he's just saying the series s is better i thought it was more i thought it was okay yeah it's a little more powerful a little bit more powerful than the series s i would say on the xbox uh foxy steve's play says the prices don't surprise me but still too rich for my blood i'll stick with my steam deck dock to my tv psm hype for october i'll be there of course top 100 you hear about it in the buzz right now go to patreon.com slash kind of funny for the free post where you can say what days you'd want to come to so we'd do it right Earthbound Mickey says Costco is selling a 1TB micro SDXD Express card for only$180 Online only solves the storage Problem real quick there you go I love Costco Who doesn't love Costco Gondors Condor says as a console price Rough but as a PC it's okay I think the other fun thing to talk about is How bad consoles are gonna go We're acting like oh my god $10.50 for this thing or whatever what do we think what the playstation prices keep creeping up the xbox prices keep creeping up project helix is going to cost you an arm and a fucking leg if they haven't changed anything about that thing let alone what the playstation 6 is going to be i think that's the fun conversation is is if this is becoming too much when playstation 6 and xbox helix come out what are those prices at and are we all going to go that's too high i mean even right now right i'm on the playstation direct thing you know you jump in playstation 5 pro console bundle is two terabytes 900 and don't get me wrong controller in there there's this thing two terabytes so we're really comparing it to the 1350 you know steam machine with two terabytes but to your point there's a gigantic sea of incredibly cheap games on steam as well like you know what i mean what's your library where are you invested so on and so forth there's a different it i wish it was cut and dry i wish it was oh my god this thing's too expensive but no it's just oh my god 2026 is too expensive and our hobby is too expensive and the whole fucking technological market is fucked and it's only gonna get worse and they'll never come down like even when ai pops it'll never go down you know what i mean uh
31:27danto 42 says how far into next gen do we think devs will support current gen consoles playstation 5 xbox series switch 2 i worry without support for current gen which themselves have already gone up in price many people will be priced out of the future of gaming i think current gen the gens we all have in our houses are going to be supported for a long long fucking time i don't think you're going to see people the next console shift is going to be stick with me this will sound crazy maybe but it'll be the smallest console shift you've ever seen i think playstation 5 will continue to play the games that are going to be on playstation 6 i think xbox series will continue to play the games that are on project helix i think by going to those other systems there will be bells whistles and things you can do yes of course there will be some exclusives to them but i think overwhelmingly the majority of games are going to be shit they got to play in these old boxes because we're not going to be able to upsell the millions of people who have bought these things on the next thing and so again as now the money really becomes we have to make money on the software we're selling we have to get as many copies of things sold you're not going to you're not going to ditch on this one i think you're going to see a very very long console that was well said and yeah as you said before and playstation said they're going to continue to get after the current clientele that they have so again i don't think they're leaving you behind i think that's the thing with playstation 5 and xbox and i know project helix and yada yada but i still think that those plans are going to be kicked down the road i still think those are further out than they wanted to and i wouldn't be surprised right now if they were still like we're aiming we're thinking this but we could push i just you know just what are we doing here i'm just ability says who will buy steam machine couch gamers probably have a console pc gamers are too savvy to spend money on this hardware plus no fortnight uh again we've beaten it to death but i think there's different use cases for it and again i think even when valve announced this and originally had plans for it i don't think they expected where to sell 20 million of these yeah i think these are things you make to fill a hole in your audience that is the people like me that are like man i love what i'm playing on steam i just wish it was more like a console and i could get it there and again take away today's price and whatever the price was supposed to be last year I think that makes a little bit more financial sense for, yeah, I want a cool box that can do all that under there.

33:36Do you think in a different world, if the prices weren't outrageous, this would be a, hey, we're going to compete. We're actually going to get involved on this? I don't think so because I think, again, you – I was talking to Jen today, right? And I brought up the old adage that I do of, like, it's so hard for us as content creators, you, Twitch streaming at night. You go live, you put it out on social media. It is so impossible to get a human being to click that fucking link. So now to talk about, we're talking about steam machines that aren't going to be in stores. I don't think Valve ever was planning on these being in Walmart, right?
34:16So immediately then you're cutting off. There's people who go and love video games and play video games and don't understand what really exists in our industry. They have no idea to show like Games Daily exists. They just go, they see the thing. they every time they go there every other month to the store they look at what's there they go maybe i'll get that maybe i won't they're buying college football on a new console like i just don't think you would have seen a mass breakout i think now more than ever as you see with me greg miller mr fucking playstation the fact that like my convenience of how i'm playing games and taking my saves everywhere and i am playing vampire on the rock next to ben i i upload the save turn it off don't even think about it go downstairs turn on the razor blade boom there I'm right I'm playing the same game I'm picking right out like that convenience is a compelling argument for so many people and again I think as we saw when this was all getting worked on and even as we see Xbox flounder with exclusives PlayStation's output be slower than ever I think there is a gamer who is more and more craning their neck I'm a console gamer and I only go to IGN to read the console review but I do look over like what what is this friend's slop game what is this thing like there's so much ingenuity there's so many new amazing experiences on steam every day that if you're lucky get partnered with a switch to day and date and then consoles later or more than likely early access we'll see you when we see you you know what i mean me and andy out here adventures of elliott was fine but it's no alabaster dawn everyone should play that if they're looking for that kind of action rpg but of course that's early access only on steam right now And so I think there's a compelling case to get small percentages, single digit percentages of people who are like, man, this console generation is not delivering.
35:58I gave up on my Xbox. I sold it back. Yada, yada, yada. I do love the handhelds or the idea of it or what. I think there's that kind of thing. But in terms of a we moved the fucking needle, we really took a bite out of PlayStation Xbox. No, I don't think that was ever their plan. I don't think it needed to be. You don't think the youth is clamoring for this, right? We talk about the youth now wanting PC gaming. we're looking at that but there's still console gaming but like you don't think that people are now going hey mom i want a steam machine i don't and i think like we talk about the youth doing that but again we're just talking and like i know there's circana data in gdc numbers and yada yada yada i think to boil it all down and come back to it i think there's still just that there's a group of kids who are playing fortnite who are playing roblox who are playing minecraft that's all they're ever going to play and they might see their favorite creators doing a pc thing of it but again they're just like oh i want it because of that and i don't think it's them really like getting into the ecosystem of it yeah this could have been that but to that point if that's how it's working i don't think you're going to see those type of content creators say i bought a steam machine i'm using they want a deal to use a steam machine to go out and do that like it's the difference between a full-on i'm an influencer i i'm playing things but like i'm paying i'm being paid to play things not in a dirty way but in a hey i'm going to use this hardware in the same way versus a kind of funny and IGN or whatever.
37:17We're playing everything and trying to see what the best thing is. But then you get the embarrassment of riches where it's like, now, how are we talking to the audience? What audience are we talking to about this? How do they feel about that? But yeah, I don't think it was ever designed to be that, but I think more than ever, it's going to be the softest impact where I think it could have been a really compelling argument and a shift and what's going on. And now it is like, ah, but I can get a PlayStation so much cheaper. It's like, yeah, for now, not next generation PlayStation. Yeah. Not what's happening next.
37:42Whenever they fucking put a price on that goddamn, hey, it's the ROG 20th anniversary. We're giving you this an OLED screen. Finally, a fucking monkey paw and extra glasses. My God, Jesus. Take out a second mortgage to get that thing. But we'll see what's up. Everybody, we have more stuff going. What? No, no, no, no. No. You think it's real? You see this too? I mean, the chat's going crazy. No. Is the chat actually talking about it? I see the one super chat TMT says Half-Life 3 just announced on a dbrand commercial I don't think that really happened the chat would be way crazier than that
38:23Nick Scarpino:dbrand put out a thing I can show to you guys I don't think this is official whatsoever my fantasy critic needs Half-Life 3 like nobody's business this is their video talking about the companion cube thing for the steam machine and at the end here oh yeah huh huh huh dbrand put that out yeah wow yeah Vox says dbrand are known jokers though okay wow who knows everybody will continue sorting through this and giving you the rest of the information yeah claw master says also no half-life 3 steam machine dot dot dot unless it comes out the day of Half-Life 3 Hopium. They're crazy. That could easily be the thing.
39:13But it's like again, they're not getting the like, hey, here's the release date. Everybody's buying them. It's exciting. Would that have more of a punch if Half-Life 3 was announced with this? Of course. But again, in general, all of these punches are so met with and not at Valve. I get it, Valve. You know what I mean? Well, actually, I guess you had a fucking mansion. You got a yacht. Maybe you could have taken a bath on this and helped out the gamer but i get it but it's like i digress everybody of course we couldn't do this without your support pick up a kind of funny membership patreon.com slash kind of funny youtube.com slash kind of funny games apple spotify you toss us a few bucks we give you everything we do ad free that's more than 80 episodes a month uh you of course get your daily dose of me greg miller in a podcast series called greg way and you get good karma for supporting an 11 person, 11 year old small business.

41:54Nick Scarpino:See website for more details. Zach gets the final super chat for now on Steam Machine and says I'm out on this one for$1 ,500. I could buy a totally not overpriced LED original Xbox sign that I have nowhere to put instead priorities y 'all. Fuck yeah, dude. Wait until you see this sign, Greg. It comes on Friday. I'm pretty pumped. Are you bringing me to the office? Yeah. Put it at your desk. I went over the weekend, you and Roger and Kevin, to figure out how to hang it above your desk. Yeah, yeah. I think the sign looks cool. Again, I told you that. It looks cool. It's humongous, too. You only get one life out there, audience.
42:29Please go live it to the fullest. Get outside. See the sunrise. See the sunset. Dance at a rave. Go eat your favorite taco. Go somewhere in life and do something. You only get one. let me tell you buy an Xbox that might be the most awkward way to transition me to the next story you son come on man story number two Ubisoft co-founder Claude Guimau has died in a plane crash this is out don't laugh you can't laugh I'm not laughing you just gave me a higher setup you got one life to live this is the next you look at that document Alex Forbes Calvin at gamesindustry.biz writes one of the co-founders of French games giant Ubisoft Claude Guimau has been killed in a plane crash.
43:12The news was first reported by a local outlet, Aust France, oh, I think that's West France, right? Spotted by Bloomberg, which said that the businessman was one of two passengers in a twin-engine Cessna 421 who died in the accident, which occurred Friday, June 19th. Guimond was 69 years old. Quote, Ubisoft was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Claude Guimond, co-founder of the group and chairman of the Guimond Corp. In this accident, a Ubisoft spokesperson said, our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time no further statements will be made at this time end quote in addition to co-founding ubisoft guimond was the chairman of the guimond corps the company behind the accessory company thrustmaster oh that's a sad one 69 that's way too young way too young there greg that's unfortunate news our thoughts go out with the families there of course as they deal with that 100 uh story number three god of war Lafay, part of PlayStation 5 devs plans from the start, pitched in 2018.
44:11This is Liam Croft at Push Square. God of War Lafay has been part of Sony Santa Monica's plans for the series for the best part of the decade, according to a new interview with Faye actor Deborah Ann Wool. Talking to Comic-Con Gaming Magazine. Comic Gaming Magazine. I want to subscribe to Comic Gaming Magazine. Find out about Comic Gaming Magazine. the actor shares she's known about God of War Lafay for almost 10 years when head of creative Corey Barlog told Wool in the studio to pitch God of War Ragnarok to her and show some of the 2018 Playstation 4 game he already had a poster for Lafay featuring Faye and the Cube who we now know is Frank in full Wool said quote he pitched it to me in 2018 and they had known about it before then it's wild like when Corey brought He already had a poster for the Lafay game with me and the cube, a cube that's been there since the beginning.
45:14It's deeply a part of the lore, end quote. It's an interesting detail that suggests the developer has always been planning for some kind of trilogy, where God of War 2018 and God of War Ragnarok build the story together, and God of War Lafay sits alongside them, telling further tales and expanding on lore. Wool actually touches on this, quote, All the mysteries and the little hints and clues, the questions, the lingering, you know, ideas that you have from that North saga. We're going to answer a lot of that or we're going to expand upon it. So this is going to feel like you are getting more story.
45:47This is going to continue to deepen what we've already learned. End quote. She also said the other direction as in the Kratos and Atreus front end entries will continue. This backs up with Barlog said upon the announcement of God of War Lafayette. quote but we're doing but we're going to put a little time and focus on expanding this world and really trying to say this is us doubling down in the world of god of war we wanted we want this to be huge we want to feel like there's such an untapped universe and this is just the beginning of a step into some of that end quote what'd you find out about comic gaming magazine looks pretty solid is it a site or is it an actual site they got a lot they got a lot a lot of news coming through plenty of articles for you to check out thank you i appreciate that uh where are you coming down on uh this news then from deb about god of war lafay good for them yeah shout out yeah i mean of course i think cory and that team had probably a pretty large vision when you talk about bringing back god of war in 2018 and having a new vision new plan for that and i'm sure there was a large a large write-up of like hey where can we take this what are some of the characters we want to double down on and so it's great to hear that cory and the team had a plan for this they saw a vision of, hey, this is a character.
47:01This is maybe one of the actors that we want to double down on. Let's see where we can take it. Are you excited for it, Michael? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. I like the Norse mythology, but the idea of stepping out and seeing a whole range of worlds and going around in that, yeah, I'm totally excited about this. When do you think you'll be playing it? Because Aaron Ambrose writes in with a super chat and says, I have a feeling God of Orlafe is a 2026 game December release. If it was 2027. Why have they not said so? Every other game announced for 2027 said so. Wow. There's been a lot of this rumbling and grumbling about when is this game coming out?
47:43Could be shadow driving. Could be sooner than we think. Etc. Etc. Etc. Do not put it out in December. Yeah, no, I thought 2027. I think you have Wolverine in September. You have GTA in November that is going to take up all of the space with how great PlayStation has been. And of course, God of war being on such a great tear and on a run, you still don't want to compete against GTA, especially when the main console that people are going to be going to play GTA on is what PlayStation, the PlayStation. So maybe we don't put out a, a banger of a game in the middle of a GTA world. So yeah, this to me was always 2027, probably fall 2027.
48:23see I think with the the you know the scuttlebutt that it's so close that's further along I could see a spring for it for sure like I could see it before fall that we come out and the PlayStation does come maybe even at Game Awards it is another trailer it is whatever Deborah Ann will on the stage I'm sure and then they have a trailer that says boom spring March whatever 2027 another February title yeah yeah yeah of course Barry you're our God of War expert anything in this article surprised you? And then what's your pick for the date?
48:55Nick Scarpino:Nothing from the article really surprised me. Someone in the chat earlier, I think Uncle Death was joking like, oh, the studio that makes exclusively God of War had planned to make more God of War. Yeah, it doesn't surprise me. I think it's exciting that, you know, there's been kind of a track for so long of like, you know, somewhere eight years ago, Corey had these ideas in his head And knew that this is where he's wanted to go And I think the kind of more exciting Piece of news from that is that they have Let them do that Right and that they're still around and they're still able to Put out this vision and Tell the story they want to tell which I think Is very exciting As far as date yeah I don't Think the it coming This year is I Wouldn't hold out hope for that I would imagine Next year I could see what you're saying Greg Sometime in the spring Maybe that might be a Fun game awards Hey it's coming way sooner than you think Type of moment Yeah you know what put me down For late April Which is when God of War 2018 Yeah exactly Alright good I'm glad we're there We did a lot of good work here Hey get excited for this game It looks great let's move on to story number four we weren't happy with the output from Sea of Thieves at the Xbox direct right we did ask yeah story number four Sea of Thieves live action movie is in the works as Xbox plans more than a dozen adaptations that's Xbox film a TV on his shirt right there but this is Nick Romano over at Entertainment Weekly Xbox continues to chart a course through Hollywood okay Well, how's the course gone so far?
50:45Give me some spots on that map. Following the success of a Minecraft movie in theaters and the Fallout TV series on streaming. What about Halo? We're not going to talk about Halo. We're talking about the recent win. Master Cheeks. Minecraft. Master Cheeks. And Fallout. Those are the two big wins. A CFE's live action movie is now in the works. Entertainment Weekly can exclusively confirm as part of a cover story on Xbox. Marvel's Destin Daniel Creighton, who directed Marvel's Spider-Man Brand New Day and Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings is on board to produce the film through Hisico, his multimedia production company.
51:20A director has not yet been set. Sea of Thieves is an open world action adventure sandbox game created by the developers at Rare and published by Xbox Game Studios. The goal is to explore a vast open world as a pirate, completing voyages, foraging alliance with other players, battling skeletons, looting lost treasure, and more. quote the main character in i'm sorry the main character of a sea of thieves game is actually the player in the community matt booty the executive vice president and chief content officer at xbox tells ew so if you sit down to think about sea of thieves it's not who are the main characters what's the plot it's a super social game but there's a tone of sea of thieves it's built on a very cooperative community so you can start to sense that that's going what that's going to be like end quote the new film is one of more than a dozen different adaptations different adaptation projects based off xbox titles that are in the works ew has learned uh that figure includes sea of thieves plus the titles already announced a minecraft movie squared a sequel to 2025 is a minecraft movie at warner brothers a live action movie and animated series based on gears of war at netflix a minecraft animated series also at netflix a wolfenstein live action TV show at Amazon, the continuing saga of Fallout, and a reality TV offering with Fallout Shelter.
52:38The others are being kept under wraps for the time being as deals firm up. Okay. We're seeing the chase to the silver screen. You know, Mario. Asha wants to be the biggest entertainment publisher, whatever she said in the world. Yeah, I mean, it's a little bit of a head scratcher to me as someone who has played Sea of Thieves, right? but it is a player first type of experience. They have notable characters. If you're a diehard fan, you'll know. Live action pirate movie, pirate show to me doesn't scream, let's double down on Sea of Thieves. But if we are in the boardroom and we are pitching every game under our umbrella, yeah, I guess Sea of Thieves is one of them that we're going to pitch.
53:22And if you have a good take on it, we'll talk to you about it, I guess. That's the thing. you know i never want to throw it out uh throw the baby out with the bath water uh because like you know a minecraft movie where like all right whatever i never watched it but it did really well and got a sequel so that's cool uh you know moa and jack black come on oh it was a fun time lava tag ben likes lava chicken song alone uh so whatever but it's also like any one of these properties we're always like well okay even a fallout or whatever like i my my problem is this with Sea of Thieves. Lay it on me.
53:55How do you just not make, so are we just making Pirates of the Caribbean? You know what I mean? Like, I don't, is it, because like, Sea of Thieves is a really fun game. I got brought in with that Pirates of the Caribbean stuff. You and I had a good two weeks with it where I really enjoyed my time. Couldn't play it alone. Tried to play it alone. It wasn't fun. But you and me, we're having a great time. But it's like, so we're just making a pirate thing. So it's just a, it's a pirate movie. It's like, cool, I guess, but like, what's going to make it Sea of Thieves and not just it's a pirate movie yeah i guess my mind kind of goes more towards like the cuphead animated show i think the art style yeah animated like okay i could see that expanding the universe i don't know on the live action when it is yeah just make pirates of the caribbean or you know do something like that i we'll find out if this makes it even to the finish line of course you i don't know about that yeah you know i'll tell you what xbox does not seem set on a path they like to go over there and do this and freak out so we'll see what happens here Yeah.
54:48I mean, they have a lot of things in the work. What is it? I mean, Wolfenstein. Let's see that. You know what I mean? Let's get to the finish line on that. I hope that's great. I would love to see a Wolfenstein, but like, we'll see. Gears of War. The problem with the Wolfenstein show is a lot of people don't like killing Nazis because there's a lot of Nazis in control right now. So it's like, are we really going to get there? Is it going to be others? There's good people on both sides. Man in the high castle, but just killing Nazis all the time. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Suspense thriller, but killing Nazis.
55:19That's what I'm hoping for. I mean, you look at this, what else do you think's happening? They've got to be doing something with Forza. You know they're doing, they made a Gran Turismo movie. They're doing some shit. They're doing a, you know, I can see them in the boardroom right now. It's Fast and Fear. Here's the number of copies Forza Horizon has sold. It's the festival. You're a new person. And now here it is. It's this kid. It's Fast and the Furious meets video game Forza. You're this kid and you've just been down on your luck, but you come into a pink slip or you get it. You run from the cops and you broke into the festival and then you won.
55:53There was like, he's amazing. You know, my thought is always, let's just focus on making great games. Let's just start with the core there. Mike, that's why they need you in the boardroom. Cause I guarantee the other one is like, you know, what's hot zombies state of decay. Make me a state of decay movie. You know, that shit's happening too. Start with, you know, that shit's happening too. I will find out Greg this one I'm a little befuddled reading this Fable they gotta have some kind of fucking Fable thing going too I bet okay Fable we're talking Fable we're talking a little bit okay fair enough Mike when that Forza movie gets announced and I'm right and you know I will be that'll be big news huge news some would say but if I wanted the smallest news I need to know about today where would I go Greg you go to our last story the We News channel where we cover all the small news items you need to know about.
56:45Oh, hold on. Brian B. Dye in Super Chat and says, if anyone at Microsoft Film is watching, please give World of Warcraft the Clone Wars treatment. Great job. That can be really cool. Let's go to IP that deserve it, and we should be doubling down on it. Diablo, World of Warcraft, right? Let's just pay the Blizzard Cinematics team whatever number, whatever blank check number they need, and just say, let's just tear that up. I like that. I don't know why we've held back for so long. Let's tear that up. Wee News number five from Noble. Square Enix has silently replaced Kingdom Hearts Collection box art after fans pointed out the potential usage of AI.
57:25Oh, solid. There's a blue sky by what it is. How many fingers did they give them? Oh, my God. What is up with the one guy in the back? Oh, yeah. Ooh. Yikes. Okay. that's bad what are we doing a beloved franchise a franchise so well known like this with diehard fans we're doing this yeah nobody cares anymore
57:49Nick Scarpino:I don't know if you know that did they change Donald at all because that was part of it I think they just covered the hand that Donald has an extra finger on and then they just don't use the background anymore because this is the original I believe and this building to the left has like some weird um how is it always fingers yeah it's like it's like how is it always fingers and then how are the fucking lazy people who are using it not trained to look at the fucking fingers and it's like like look also no one's ever drawn donald duck so it makes sense yeah if you look at like goopy's hand and like the way like his fingers kind of like weirdly like curve and then you look at sora's hand to the left like yeah it's this like that's the same over here yeah yeah it's just the same guy put over there that's right just another reason to boycott kingdom hearts like i have since inception i just did because it looked dumb but you know now i'm now this is my reason i knew ahead of time was gonna happen uh halo has corrected its own faq on twitter uh they tweeted we incorrectly stated that playstation plus is required for local co-op split screen play local split screen co-op requires a playstation account for each player, but does not require a PlayStation Plus account.
59:05You know, back in the day, you just press start. Back in the day, you would just show up, you'd press start. And they'd say, game over, Greggy? One. Game over, Greggy? One player, two. And we just call it good. Why do we have to jump through so many goddamn hoops when we talk about it? Gotta have that PSN account. Gotta have you dialed in. Gotta know what's going on. It can't be that difficult. They're playing co-op on the couch. Just make it playable. Press the start button and let them have fun. I'll be frank stop doing this for as petty as all the Xbox and PlayStation bickering is it would have been fantastic if they said this and then the first part of like you need PlayStation Plus to do it but on Xbox you don't another exclusive but not the link exclusive that was the whole weekend thing was like oh all of a sudden PlayStation is asking you to have two PlayStation Plus accounts you're like alright well clearly that's definitely not correct like they're gonna have to fix this and then you just scratch your head like what are we doing just press start let's get it going tears of metal launches on pc early access on july 22nd i can't fucking wait uh peak surpassed 20 million players one year after launch congratulations wow uh thank you for your application a narrative driven interview simulation game from ice lemon t studio and no more robots has just fully made back its development costs in 22 hours congratulations to them we usually have so much bad news here uh from discussing film first look at nicholas cage in Call of Duty Black Ops 7.
1:00:31Jesus Christ. What does he look like? What is he doing? Which version of Cage are we getting? Con Air? Spider-Man Noir? Oh, Jesus Christ. Just Bender. Just Nick Cage on a Bender. We could have... How many tarantulas has he hit right there, Mike, before he picked up that gun? Gun's got no bullets in it. That's just a bad angle. There's got to be another one. Is it just Nick Cage in Call of Duty? Is that like Cage, Call of Duty? Is there like a... Yeah, because he's Nick Cage in everything. Yeah, so is it... He's just Nick Cage. Okay, play as... I'm on GameSpot. Play as Nicholas Cage in Call of Duty Season 4 Reloaded.
1:01:15This is from today. SE Doister. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Man, there's a lot. Damn, it's just fucking Nick Cage. Call of Duty cross Nick Cage is what they're saying. Yeah. Huh. He doesn't need to have a role assigned to this. Is there a trailer? I want to see. Yeah, there is a trailer. Let him ride. I'm going to throw a trailer and assets here, Barrett, if we can watch that. It's probably just a bad screen grab, I'm sure. I mean. I would also caution it probably has licensed music. Yeah, just play it on mute. Can you mute it? Yeah. We're just there for the look of it. Oh, I don't know if it's a bad screen.
1:01:46Maybe it's just a bad screen grab. Thumbnail don't look good either. Thumbnail don't look good either. It's the motion. Call of Duty has a lot of motion. People flying around the screen. Probably just a bad screen grab. All right. Well, Barrett preps that. Oh, here it is. Oh, here it comes. Call of Duty reloading. Welcome to Vondel. Babe. Or so. There's only one man who can save us from all these guys. Knock, knock, knock. That's my Nicolas Cage. I like Nicolas Cage a lot, by the way.
1:02:16Jeez. That looked good. I want to see him and Rhea Ripley out there. You know what I mean? Yeah, hell yeah. From Call of Duty. And Cardi B. Cardi B out there, too. sure damn they they they fucking doing a great job not showing me his face you're getting enough to be like that's nicholas cage yeah yeah yeah and i like what i'm seeing the schnoz he did a great what was it jesus no no that ain't it what's the interview i wasn't the interview new york times i listened to for spider-man noir he was really good on it okay yeah okay well wow no no no no How many does that sell? Take a guess. How many people buy Nicolas Cage?
1:02:59A lot, right? You think so? Do you think the meme is over? Nicolas Cage is such a meme that I feel people are like, there's definitely a time where that would have been juggernaut. Yeah, you think so? Enough people are buying to justify it. Yeah. And that's it for WeNews. Let's get some super chats before we get you on your way and into the kind of funny games cast where they're talking about something. Uh... Wait, what? Alfie Monty says, the JC after Nicolas Cage made me spit my drink. I missed the JC. I don't know what that means. I think Jesus Christ is what you said. Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay.
1:03:39Just own it. Say Jesus' name, all right? You know what? I don't think so, but I don't think he's like Bloody Mary. If we say Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, he doesn't appear behind us, you know what I mean? Turning water into wine. He partied. People don't talk about that enough. Jesus. Partied. Water into wine? Will they teach me that in church if I go? Yeah. Well, I mean, yeah, yeah. They don't draw the partying aspect of it. I mean, you have to fill in some gaps. Okay. But imagine you're at a wedding. They run out of wine. And Jesus is like, look at it. You know what I mean? Okay.
1:04:11Okay. I'd be scared though, right? Because in my horror movie version, he'd turn the water in all of us to wine too. We'd all die. Whoa. You know what I mean? Think about it, Hollywood. If you need ideas, I got a great script about a Jesus who's so drunk. miracles become disasters. I guess maybe it's more of a comedy. What if Will Ferrell was the Jesus in it? I'm pitching.
1:04:33Stevie V 7. Wind Waker being Mike's number one warms my heart. My favorite video game of all time. Yeah, they were fantastic. It was a journey. Loved every moment of it. Had a blast with all the Zelda games and looking forward to more. Scarlet Libra 99 says the top 100 event is the week as a week before my birthday. 1:06:25Also over here, Kebab says the way Greg pronounces it is legit how they say it in the games too. Kebab is and me rarely on the same side. All I hear about is Ratchet and Clank from her, but the fact that she is supporting me right now shows you what it is. Oh, don't get me started on Spyro. That's how right I am. And then Zaxson says, Missed Wii News starting with Steam OS 3.8 you can put together your own Steam machine using whatever PC parts you want. Yeah, you can boot into Steam. I don't know. Again, here's where we're talking. Let's talk about the chasm because I'm going to tell you right there.
1:07:00Well, yeah, you can... I set my razor blade to boot into Steam as soon as I turn it on. Oh. Right? But it's like... I'm sure that he means... They mean something more complicated than that but I would never want to do the complicated thing. I just want to connect three wires and be playing video games.
