We got Game Awards. We're living out here.

1:24What are you most excited about for Game Awards? The unexpected is always... I feel like that's always such a boring answer, but it's the truth where it's like... I feel like there's so many rumors. There are so many things I've been pre-briefed on. There are so, you know, it's like, I feel like I don't even know what I'm allowed to say that I know is going to be there. But even that's like, fine. It's like, it is more the, what don't I know? What is Jeff going to wow us with? How great is it going to be for me when half-life three shows up? How, when I get those points, how confident are you in half-life three, less than 50 by a lot.

1:56Oh, less than feel. Oh yeah. It's like, I think it makes too much sense. It makes too much sense of like, we're doing the steam machine. Why not talk about that and show and like, I don't expect it, but I want it. You know what I mean? I want it. I mean, that's one of those ones where if you're able to announce Half-Life 3 with the trailer here, no matter the quality of the rest of the show, like we're talking about. I mean, that's a golden goose, right? Yeah, that's one of the best game awards even. You know what I mean? Like, that's at least a 9 out of 10 at that point. Yeah, yeah. And so from then on, yeah, it just becomes unexpected, right?

2:26What could Jeff have up his sleeve to really wow us tonight? What could it be? I don't know. and I'm excited to see because I'm with you about the unexpected announcements because I feel like so far for the things that we do know I'm kind of like alright cool yeah yeah yeah like Jonathan Blowson there's going to be a new game from him coming out there's going to be Tomb Raider tease the thing yeah I don't think do we have any Tomb Raider super fans here I don't know if we have like any super fans I think we all like it I really liked the reboot I was big on that we had Chris and Imex a lot on the old kind of funny set yeah and so we know that's coming Divinity Original Sin 3 whatever divinity yeah divinity right that's their whole thing yeah yeah which is exciting there's been rumors of diablo that they'll have something there cool so like okay awesome but again sorry who's gonna get another trailer i've had double seven god i was cracking up yesterday when you guys has have we confirmed rahul's voice i'm like i was like driving i'm like i think he's in every one of them you're like oh he's in every one yeah i don't i don't know it's been such a great year for games and then to get excited for next year and what are they gonna have and like beyond beyond yeah i mean like what's jeff got up his sleeve i'm almost more excited for the awards just to see if like our predictions predictions are spot on as far as expedition 33 winning everything and what that's going to do to it being memed because i think by the time we get to award number six or seven like do they run out of speeches did they write enough speeches that is a yeah how many people are there how many people can go up what are they going to do yeah yeah did they bring enough people where it's like all right you know timmy you're going up now all right you know tommy you're timmy and tommy the names are probably more french than it's just it's the little tanukis from animal crossing going up yeah like i think that's gonna be a fun thing of yeah six or seven times seeing them win all right cool like yeah thanks again guys all right bye okay cool now we're making jokes about it on the internet yeah but i don't know we'll see what we get into we'll see who rushes the stage we'll have a great time oh what do you think the somebody rushes the stage what do you think they're saying this time is this the same bill clinton kid i hope or is there a new cause?

4:23I hope nobody rushes. I hope everybody's safe. What happened during Gamescom? Remember that one? Yeah, a different guy got up on stage. Yeah. Just looked at him. I forget what he said. It was like some protesting, but I forget what they're protesting. It's been a while since anyone rushed, so I think we'll be okay. It's out of fashion. You know what I mean? These things are going out of fashion. Of course, everybody, this is kind of funny games daily, a special late episode because of course, you don't have to go anywhere else today. We're going to go right from this into our hangout pre-show till the pre-show of the Game Awards, then right into the Game Awards.

Kingdom Hearts can appear anywhere. Game Awards is a place that it could appear. But honestly, I feel like there's not really any consistency as far as how they announce a Kingdom Hearts game. Or how they show off a Kingdom Hearts game. I hope it's here. Just for the hype of it. Mike like music. Super chat says my pizza just got delivered. KFGD is on. I'm chilling. What are you getting? 6:47Nick, of course, the Supergirl trailer reaction has been recorded. It is being edited and uploaded as we speak. So that will be up sometime probably while we're live. While we were setting up to do that, Nick turns to me and goes, is it too late to order the Chipotle catering? And I said, yes, it is. That's a day in advance at least. Now, that doesn't take Chipotle off the table. That we could build bowls, order that. we could of course just do pizza it's tried and true I had a very I had a normal breakfast and then we had a double breakfast because it was like Jen's like let's go get a cup of coffee and it was like 10.30 and I'm like well we just ate but this will be my lunch too so I didn't eat the full breakfast burrito so I'm going to be hungry soon we're not a problem you and me can set the where are we at as far as wings where would you get them from Buffalo Wild Wings out of business oh they are out of business Wingstop does exist, I guess.

7:44Our Buffalo Wild Wings is out of business. I mean, I don't mind Wingstop. It's not my favorite. I'm in the same boat. Yeah, it's like I don't crave it, but I'm against it. They got good ranch. Yeah. The problem you always run into with wings, though, is that we're, and I don't know how you feel about this, you're going to inevitably have to do boneless because people aren't going to want to go out there and then come back or go yum, yum, yum, yum on the street. Oh, I don't mind that. Oh, I guess I don't. Yeah, I guess I don't want to do that on the street. Nobody's going to eat. The bones take so long, whereas with little ones, yum, yum, yum.

8:12Man, Buffalo Wild Wings throws a bad wrench into it. Because, yeah, those are the ones I would want. Our bartender's still out of work. What do you mean? Me and Tim used to go to Buffalo Wild Wings every so often for meetings where we'd just sit at the bar and catch up and do whatever. And our bartender was Omar, and he was the fucking man. And so then he was like, dude, I think they're closing us down this week. And I was like, holy shit, really? I followed him on Instagram. And so then they closed him down. And so then Instagram was going to be he'd keep us posted because he was thinking he might end up at Dave & Buster's.

8:37And we're like, we'll just start going there. And then he's still unemployed. Still no joke. That sucks. haven't closed a while too. Hire Omar. Exactly. Hire Omar. Hire Omar. What the fuck's wrong with everybody? I digress. Yeah. Think about it. I'm not against pizza. Okay. I'm never against pizza. Yeah. Then it's going to get the argument aware though. We're into that section of our life. Andy's going to want pie punks. Andy's going to want pizza. At that point, I need everybody to up your subscription. Right. We're getting that much pie punks. It's going to be a problem. 10:38I will say, I do find it interesting that they don't add in like the game has to release in 2025 thing. I feel like that would fix the entire player's choice thing when you look at the nominees because the other nominees are great. Yeah. I think what's Dispatch, it's clear obscure, it's the ones you'd expect. Yeah. So that's another weird one. Jackmon1129 Super Chat says Game Awards hype Expecting to see Final Fantasy More than Kingdom Hearts Interesting If you had to pick one Who are you going to get Final Fantasy Or are you going to get Kingdom Hearts Of course we got to see This Final Fantasy Are we saying Any Final Fantasy Or are we saying 7.3 I think he's saying 7.3 I would lean Honestly I don't know if this is crazy I feel equal I feel like there's An equal chance of either Kingdom Hearts 4 Has been cooking longer Yeah Like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Just came out last year yeah early last year kingdom hearts 4 has been announced for what feels like a decade somehow we shall see jay dublin says given that playstation is trying to be more third to go more third party i wouldn't be surprised to see sony reveal a short trailer for their version of xbox play anywhere this has been another rumor i've seen that i don't buy of course remember there was that cross play graphic thing that went around or cross by and people like oh yeah games are going to go to pc now and this that the other i understand that it's not in 2025 a complicated concept you know what i mean yeah but i do think that the nuts and bolts of how you'd get your pc games on the or your yeah your playstation games on pc and have them tied into your psn that's a blog post like that's going to get a trailer but it would also get a broken down blog post if they were really like let's explain playstation play anywhere i just don't buy that it would be you can have a snazzy trailer that you would run during this that again game awards is for us the super crazy video game nerds yeah but they're way more into getting the nerd adjacent i like video games mainstream group and so to get a trailer that's like boom you play playstation games anywhere on your pc and it's like i just i don't buy that being this being the avenue to explain that concept yeah it would have to be like you have to make a very i guess sexy trailer and have it be part of a wider marketing push and that doesn't sound as playstationy when you're talking about yeah the nitty-gritty details of the ecosystem um i think it'd be a neat idea though like i wouldn't be against them having a trailer like that because i think it'd be i would love that it's just cool it just sounds like we would celebrate it making yeah it sounds like a show we'd be making i feel like that's a blog and then you talk about it in a state of play as well I agree with that.

They are great to us they often uh you know they don't often every year they donate to our extra life and do the whole pizza thing but even me like square pie guys isn't something i want every time and that's the problem is that i just had too much square pie guys because i loved it so much you can od yeah yeah even though whatever kind of funny pizza we had for the first time we did the collaboration i think the pickle the buffalo chicken the oh the chorizo yeah yeah oh my god i love that shit i know it wasn't like a seller or whatever but i had it a lot and i think i just like got into the square pie guys life a little bit too hard yeah and i don't i don't think anybody should have detroit pizza that much i totally i overdid it i totally get that it's similar to how like you know well you know i don't have to even say this but like chicago style pizza you know the sauce on top and the giant like casserole blah blah oh yeah that was always such a special occasion pizza but people act like that's all chicago people eat like in reality you're having that tavern style party style cutting squares way more yeah very thin crust yeah yeah you ever go to monocles pizza no i don't know what that is that's another i think it might have been like just champagne or like a central illinois type thing but that was a tavern style pizza it's like where you go for like you the sports team just gotta win all right everybody we're going to monocles to celebrate kind of thing yeah i love that we don't have enough of those pizza places in san francisco i yeah i guess i don't think there's a desire for the thin crust here or like for the like a family we're all going to oh yeah i mean like kevin would always talk about like the round table with the arcade and even him and Tim going to that one.
