It only took me like three weeks to write a Xenoblade article. jordan how's your pokemon world hasn't started yet but you were we're pre-worlding i was pre-worlding um i realized that if i were if i was to fly when they decided we were going to fly to worlds i would be flying in the middle of like opening night live and gamescom stuff which wouldn't have been great for the old vgc so i flew on sunday and i've just been chilling i did the shows yesterday and we did gamescast which was a lot of fun really fun and then i went back to my hotel and i had another pizza from the same place new york pizza um across from my hotel at sfo in san francisco yeah um it was great four points that's on sfo yeah oh my oh it did smell of petrol but it was fantastic ate that immediately fell asleep then woke up midnight um san francisco time to do an interview and then i've just worked a day of news thank god that's why i have but i have 10 do you have 10 hours of energy i'd like to apologize for having careful with that for having a disgusting brand on this broadcast yesterday.

4:36starting with our number one first of all somebody asked how do you microdose a drink that small yep you do it like you're taking like a gulp is really what it is just one just one gulp you know shake that thing up to make sure you know you have about half you drink about half and then you save the other half for some other i don't know if that's how they advertise using it that's how i use i'll be real blessing i feel like i took one gulp of this and it was down so i don't know if you're a small gulping man if that's something i can i mean i'm also just a small man that's not true and so i drink one drink of i do i drink one gulp of five hour energy and it courses through my veins if you saw how fast i'm going on this treadmill and it's like as soon Because, like, you know, I wake up 630.

5:17I immediately brush my teeth. I take the gulp of five-hour energy. And then I'm at the gym maybe about, like, ten minutes later. Ten seconds later. Ten seconds of my run. But I take my car. So I'm there about ten minutes later. And I step one foot on that treadmill. And I'm zooming. I'm looking crazy on that treadmill. Someone in the chat did point out, we continue to say the phrase small gulps, forgetting the word sips, which could also be used. Well, no, but I'm not doing sips, though. It is a gulp. It's nasty Oh well I don't care I'm nasty too Oh yeah I have chosen Pikachu Nice classic choice Yeah I shan't be eating on a broadcast because I'm a professional But I'll just keep it here I've got an article to read if you want to just scarf that thing down take another gulp of the five hour energy to wash it out well come on that could be at five more five hour energies thanks there you go that's 25 hours the gta 6 leaks have continued this time with a new gameplay video and a message from the leaker defending their crypto scheme this 12th video leak shows what 12 shows relatively unremarkable night club gameplay and includes the now standard advertisement of the cyber leak token at the heart of the cryptocurrency scheme that is believed to be the motivating factor behind all this but this new video also includes a watermarked message that defends the crypto scheme i have put in a note here i'm not reading the message the message is included in quotes on the igr article but i was like i don't want to circulate it because i feel like then i'm doing their job for them but it's about crypto it's basically what the heart of it it's about crypto and how crypto believe in it i guess cyber leak has launched paid for polls with a number of gameplay video choices people can vote on by sending tokens people have spent hundreds of dollars of worth of the tokens to vote this crypto scheme is ostensibly about protesting our all digital future and rockstar's decision to not not to sell gta 6 on disc at least one person showed up at a rockstar or at rockstar north in scotland filming themselves eating a leak outside the office wait wait wait wait wait i'm sorry we have to we have to stop here yeah we got to pull over the car you're telling me bless you're telling me that this is about protesting against the all digital future while trying to pump an all digital currency what are we doing it makes a great point sting um what are we doing yeah i mean that's a really good point you really care about physical media but what i think i didn't even i didn't think about that aspect of it because this isn't even about the all digital future this is just them scamming people oh yeah 100 i think i called this out last week or whenever it was like oh yeah this is a protest against you know all uh digital future it's like i don't i don't buy that no it's definitely not they're jumping on that bandwagon because they know people will jump on it with them and support their cryptocurrency scam you know i'm starting to believe that that cyber leak is not the genius negotiator that we once thought it was wow i don't want to put that out there i don't want him to be leaking the location of this donut but i was gonna say i i for one do not piss off leakers on podcasts i respect all of you you know hey you should pass off journalists that's more fun um i got two updates to this story listen wouldn't be the first time the first update to this story hot on the heels of the nightclub gameplay leak cyber leak has released the 13th video oh this time showing off jason cycling on a beach packed with npcs this new video includes the same watermarked meme coin advertisement and crypto statement does ign have a stake in this crypto that yeah crypto statement detailed in the original story and then there's a second update to the story cyber leak has dropped a third gta 6 leak video today following on fast from this morning's early releases featuring a nightclub and a beach scene marking a significant escalation in the amount of footage hitting the internet this latest release of leaked material also continues to push cyber leaks supposed agenda behind the leaks an apparent dislike of the fact that physical media is being abandoned quote people are confused reads the latest message watermarked into the footage this is not about actual discs it's about ownership resale rights still matter even in a digital only era end quote see that's your answer to your that's your inspiration it's about ownership not about the physical part yeah physical you own your leaked coin.

10:15Joke's on you, mate. Pray again next time. Yeah, joke's on me for owning a physical disc that is essentially just telling the internet to download a game. Fittingly, this message is overlaid on gameplay that shows GTA 6 protagonist Jason exploring a video game store complete with spoof consoles that look a lot like PS5 in game cases. There's even a sign in the store advertising, quote, ex-rental games and movies for sale, end quote. Titles on offer in the fictional shop include games such as, hold on. Come on, No. I just got it. Glory Souls 2. Yep. Desolate Rim. Mm-hmm. And We Came Together. Yeah.

10:52I want to circle back to that in a second. Yeah. The leaks certainly appear to be ramping up ahead of Netflix's official GTA 6 reveal. Okay. There's a lot here, Jordan. Yep. Where do you want to start? Do you want to start with these titles? We're going nowhere else. This is what I was talking about yesterday. All the horrific, dirty jokes that our proud Scottish brothers over at Rockstar North like to sneak in. um glory souls obviously we know what we're talking about here that's like a dark souls joke desolate rim obviously it's a rim joke but what is it based on i don't know i mean because what comes to mind is pacific rim but i feel like that's such a dated reference to make granted this game's been in development for a very long time and then we came together we came together feels like some like friend slop yeah drawn together was that uh that was something yeah we came together we came together which is the best way if you ask me together yeah this is why I play GTA by the way I love all the fucking hidden barely hidden I should say dirty jokes when I was a kid they fell hidden as an adult playing GTA I'm like oh no they're very much just out there as pointed out in the chat by Cyanide 1980 Bossack as the equivalent to I think it's the Nasdaq that it's the equivalent of Bossack but yeah there's lots of stuff like that in there blessing for these um leaked videos there was a point in time where i saw i saw the first two the first day it happened because obviously it was a big news i cannot keep up with this at this point now i see videos and i'm like is this actually a new one is this ai um at this point i'm just like how much how much worse can it get and for me the thing that would make it catastrophic and i'm surprised maybe hasn't happened as like substantial story stuff like yeah or that would be something like that terrible hosting the ending and like september would be that would be catastrophic yeah um and that's what i really hope doesn't happen a lot of this shit i don't i don't care about from like i guess just the pure leak perspective like i think the part of this that's shitty to me is the the cryptocurrency aspect and like the this person's essentially trying to scam the internet and scam the world into i forget if i read it as part of this but like you can you can vote you can vote for what what what happens next yeah for like what gets leaked next and like you have to pay to vote in it and this person's making money off of that yeah that's some bullshit yeah that's the part of this where i'm like fuck off dude well you assume whoever this chap or chap s is is like well when i get caught which you imagine they eventually will i'm never going to see the outside of a prison cell for the rest of my days so i might as well make some bread while the while the sun is shining and for me i i feel more i have a lack of respect for the people that are actually paying him more yeah honestly yeah so that's like trying to grift this because who on earth is supporting that kind of thing unless you are just biblically wealthy if you're one of these people that can crash a supercar and just leave it there yeah then maybe you're like oh well a thousand pounds doesn't touch the sides when it comes to voting for something like this but yeah it's still some it's still loser oh it's deeply embarrassing but very embarrassing um i don't know man i just want it to be i'd like it to just be november for multiple reasons just to be like okay the game is out the game is out the generation of covering uh gta 6 is done and i wonder how once this is all shaken out and however much leaks however much leaks rockstar reflects on maybe we don't wait as long as the netflix thing to show the game again or they just think fuck it we remain rock star we will do what we want i i kind of feel like it would be the second one i think that's i mean that's going to be the biggest conversation for them there's a really good um jason schreier one take schreier video where he's talking about the gta 6 leaks and how after the previous gta 6 leak a few years ago they really battened down the hatches yeah it people were working from home they're like nope everybody's coming in office it is going to be very secure as far as the way we're doing this and the fact that we're here now and the gta 6 leaks are even getting worse right like this person has access to the video game and they're shooting their name in the game to prove that they have access to the game it's like damn all that effort for them is essentially wasted right because all all of that was in service of trying to prevent leaks like this that's wasted morale within your workforce is down because of this and they're doing their best internally to like try and cheer people up and make sure that like hey we're a few months away let's get to the finish line sort of thing i'm sure the conversation for them going into their next big release post gta 6 is going to be very complex as far as how they approach marketing because i think to for the most part actually i don't actually I don't know.

15:45I was going to say, like, are most people even aware of the leaks? But I imagine that a good chunk are. It has broke containment to my A to Side football chat, where when I played a game on Thursday, the first thing someone said to me was, are those GTA leaks real? And this is like a young guy, slightly younger than me. So I think if you're of a TikTok persuasion, you could not avoid them. If you're algorithmically inclined to see any kind of game, any kind of Call of Duty, anything, the GTA 6 stuff will be pushed towards you beyond that i don't beyond i don't think it really went you have to remember who is buying gta 6 and it's what huge proportion of them are not locked into games media not locked into social media the first they see of what gta 6 looks like will either be on netflix when they're like scrolling for something else and they go oh that's weird that gta 6 that looks cool or it will be on the day it comes out and they go well obviously i'm buying gta 6 is gta 6 so i think that's really you try not to think about these things as because obviously it's a massive deal and a massive story and a big storm to us that are really doing this day to day but when you look at it at it from the perspective of the normal person perhaps not though it has broken some kind of containment yeah which i think well once you get to is it thursday that the gta thing is happening once we get there yeah i think there's a level of all right like we put out the thing ourselves like it's on netflix it'll be on other platforms it'll you're probably going to for after thursday see it everywhere if you're scrolling on tiktok if you're doing whatever like creators are going to react to it people are going to be reposting everything so you're going to get such a flood of gameplay footage from that and then i think the only thing that you really have fear of after that is this story stuff yeah spoiling the story spoiling the ending doing things like that and i think that's something that affects us more so then it affects the wider amount of people.

17:36Tens of millions of people are going to be buying GTA 6. Especially because it would instantly become, it's the reply to every big tweet, it's the reply to, like it would become a weaponized thing like it was with Last of Us. I think if they can on Thursday show gameplay that's so mind-blowing that all the leaked stuff, it's like, yeah, but okay, that's cool that you have this leaked footage, but the stuff they've showed is like more impressive and it's in higher quality and it's correctly HDR color corrected because all the leaks are like super washed out. That can steal a lot of thunder. But as you say, it's the story stuff that could still maintain like a level of ransom.

18:12And also I don't think whoever has leaked this would be super forthright about what they have because then they lose like all power as the net closes as well. They're still working on the game. So it's like, yeah, how much of that do they really have access to is a really good point. Yeah, I saw like six seconds of footage and then I cut it off because the footage was so unremarkable that i was like let me not spoil i don't want to spoil myself on seeing this game properly you know what i mean like especially for a build that it's probably an older build and all this stuff i'm looking at the gameplay and it's very much like oh yeah this just looks like gta and it was kind of it was kind of fucking up my i guess anticipation slash i think my just my perspective on gta not that when on thursday they're going to show me something that's going to make me go oh hell yes it's the second coming of christ in the video game i don't really expect that either but i want to at least allow for a more proper showing of that game to meet my eyes before i see all this like oh yeah this fucking cyber leaker is showing me really bad gameplay yeah i totally agree i felt the same way about the insomniac leaks like in this job you get offered to see like everything you could possibly want like it's not difficult to seek out but when we were covering that we just covered it from like a your factual perspective and any time on tech talk you saw actual content from that i was like i don't care i'll see it when it's like i'll see you when it's ready i'll see you when it's announced and it becomes a difficult thing because when you're subsequently covering these games you have you can't you can't unlearn what you know about something you know so when you're talking about like future potential insomniac products projects and this happens on podcasts all the time people will like guess like oh what could they be doing what could they be thinking about in the back of the head the audience and the host knows like well we've kind of seen behind the curtain here but yeah it's it's beholden on people to just ignore that and let these things come out as they should which i understand is not a popular idea because there is a segment of the audience it's just like well i don't care i just i just want to see this stuff it doesn't bother me either way but i tried to think about and i said this on our podcast this week i think if i was still on the outside and this was happening around gta 5 when i was like 16 17 18 i would have devoured all of it like totally honestly i would have devoured all of it because i would have been so much hype and so much much anticipation for it yeah and i would have had no patience whatsoever so i totally empathize with the part of the audience that wants to do that where it crosses for me is when as i said it becomes like a weaponized thing of like say someone posts on blue sky i don't want to see any of this and immediately it's like well here's the ending in the go to space like that so like right don't don't be a dick about it yeah yeah i 100 agree yeah it's not it's not it's not a black and white thing and that obviously discounts the entirely valid feelings of the people that are working on the game which i feel like gets disconnected from this kind of oh well fuck take two fuck rockstar these giant beasts and it's like well john smith who's like an assistant animator on gta sex he's just out of edinburgh uni and he's like living his dream and he was so excited for people to see working on this game for six seven eight years and then this happens i can i totally understand why those people will be crushed and why morale might be down but i just think there's a lot of ways that you can look at this thing 100 let's move on to story number two asus rog xbox ally x20 which is a mouthful oh i'm not even done yet no led there's one more word there the asus rog xbox ally x20 OLED pre-orders are open at$1 ,299.99.

Wait till you see these glasses, glasses, glasses. man that's case it's great god damn the rog xbox ally was originally released back in october 2025 in two versions the white xbox ally priced at about 600 and the black xbox ally x priced at 1000 the asus rog xbox ally x20 oled version will be released on october 15th while the internals of the system remain the same when compared to the previous version the addition of the oled screen has been a requested feature from early adopters of the premium handheld quote while this has been a common request since day one we wanted to give gamers a display that was truly gaming focused and after years of r &d we've got one with all the right specs asus said in a statement when the system was announced you're gonna fork up the 2500 bundle cannot wait to spend the 2500 for not only a slightly better version of a handheld that's far far far too big but also So I have to get this case.

Definitely not Freedom Wars. um i random shit dude i've been playing some random games um i was playing i was playing a lot of fifa actually i was playing like old fifa games fifa on vita surprisingly done or surprisingly done surprisingly good what year are we talking here like fifa 15 oh come on this is a good year fifa 15 dude back in the day because i that's when i like i freshly had a playstation 4 like i just got my ps4 for christmas i think that uh that previous year and fifa 15 was out and when I tell you I probably put in over 100 hours in the span of a few months into that game so good version pretty good but but think about if you could play with AR glasses now come on now think about that um as a pirate's favorite type of glasses have you seen that people have brought FIFA 15 back to life how you look on that internet wow yeah hey to the point where um EA has responded about it and they're like yeah we understand that people like the old FIFAs but like it's nothing to do with us if it sends your pc spiral and don't blame us not a quote but you gotta do for fifa 15 what they did for black ops 1 and 2 and just make a just make a ps5 version i i would love that the reason they can't do that it's the same reason they can't do wrestling games licenses licenses like you can't depict a player at a club he no longer plays that so and in modern ultimate team if they do a flashback version of a player say they have messy as a young version of messy he will just have a red and blue jersey that doesn't have any of the barcelona crests and he will still They'll be an Inter-Miami item because they can't put Messi in a Barcelona thing, which is absolute sacrilege in my opinion.

25:14Yeah. Especially because the NBA games, and I know they can do it because the NBA has won total license. They have all their classic teams, and you can play through a season as the 2004 Oklahoma Jaguars. You can play as Michael Jordan from the Bulls. Yeah, exactly. Whereas you can't play as 2004 Celtic, unfortunately. Damn. Listen, I know 2004 Celtic as well. I know all about he lost in Force Celtic. You came up on 2 ,000 before Celtic. Here's the thing. I think I have a level of understanding for that when it comes to sports games. I still don't fuck with it when it comes to Forza. Because Forza, and I'll beat this drum, and people get mad because they're like, bless, it's because of the licensing.

25:56And I know it's because of the licensing, but every few, every like two Forza games, a previous Forza gets unlisted. Yeah. And I think that's so fucked up. It's just cars. like they're not i agree cars don't have feelings and thus shouldn't be subject to license agreements but i always think the forza thing's weird how every so often they're just like sending a message to people on xbox being like hey yeah yeah you can't buy forza horizon 3 anymore and it's like brother that was like an iconic video game yeah i can't play on this like you can play if you already bought it right but like i can't buy the one that takes place in australia that was such a good map i'm starting to think that's all digital future isn't all it's cracked up to be listen maybe we gotta we gotta go to cyber leak yeah we've got we've got to help them fight the good fight and the only way you can fight a good fight is spending twenty five hundred dollars on the rogue xbox ally x20 oled well have you played the like normal version of this thing yeah i play i well i booted it up i played a little bit of avowed yep and then i turned it off and then i never turned it on again and then i gave it to roger roger roger with the roger Roger with the Raj, yeah.

27:00That's a glowing review. Well, it's nothing against the hardware. I want to make it clear, the hardware is fantastic. Yeah. It's just that I spent so much time setting up my Steam Deck that I wasn't ready for it. If you give me one now, I'll be ready for it. I'm ready to move up in the world. FIFA 15 right on there. Yeah, FIFA 15 on that thing. Why do you think I've been messing around with my Vita? I've just been bored. Here's the thing. I understand the compulsion. If they announce a Switch 2 with an OLED screen, let me tell you something, brother. i'd be getting that yeah the first day it came for 900 don't care damn bgc money wow but the i understand that and i also understand why early adopters would be like man if i'd just waited like i suppose it came out last year so you're waiting a year and giving them 300 quid for the privilege of it but it's still a tough one to take the crazy money is funny and it's why i wrote this story because in the headline it's 1300 super super funny but we've just got to be used to this at this point man it's good well when the ps6 advert finishes and jim ryan comes back and he goes hello um and they say it's 1200 pounds everyone's just got to go yep but yeah it's going to be new normal yeah well or invest in something else and then just stop playing modern games i did i did buy well i was with you for about two minutes they were old games i was right um whoa whoa whoa that's crazy you were just you were just talking about FIFA 15 for the last 10 minutes.

28:24You got to stop listening to Greg Miller on podcast. I've been thinking that for about 15 years, but it's not happened. I genuinely share that opinion, though. Once a game travels into the old territory, unless it's Metal Gear Solid 4, then I'm fighting no interest. What about Pokemon Soul Silver? Oh, come on. Let me talk about Pokemon Soul Silver. What about Pokemon Stadium? Pokemon Stadium, I hate to say this, it counts as an old game, doesn't hold up.

29:27Well, I mean, does it hold up? No, but is it still fun to go back to? I was playing Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2 with Janet Garcia like three weeks ago. Yeah, playing games with Janet Garcia. Janet Garcia makes that, though. You could be playing Checkers with Janet Garcia and it'd be a fun old time. That's true. She'll find a way to critique it. Checkers is a fun one. Yeah, she will. I think checkers is actually like a seven out of ten I'm not sure why you'll find what's wrong with checkers you're like, Dana stop being so smart enjoy the experience does Ocarina of Time count?
