In short

Kind of Funny Games Daily (Aug 13, 2026) covers nerdy news: Warner Bros confirms Hogwarts Legacy 2 is in development; Embracer targets Darksiders 4 and a new Kingdom Come game by end of March 2028; a former Naughty Dog Uncharted designer argues against remaking Uncharted 1; reviews roundup for Dusk Fade; and Nintendo Everything news that Pokémon Bank shuts down Feb 26, 2027.

Guests/hosts

Hosts are Greg Miller and “Mike” (Snowbike). No additional guests appear in this transcript segment; they mention a future guest, Bradley Shankar from MobileSyrup, joining tomorrow.

Key claims

WB says Hogwarts Legacy 2 will “meaningfully contribute” to future revenue; Embracer names Darksiders 4 and the next Kingdom Come as expected by March 2028; Benson Russell (Uncharted 1-3 designer) says remaster/remake “doesn’t make any sense” because the original is already playable and remaking would require rewriting key story/spirit; Dusk Fade reviews are generally positive (Metacritic 78, OpenCritic 84); Pokémon Bank shutdown is replaced by Pokémon Home support launching in October.

Notable examples

Hogwarts Legacy sold 40M+ copies (as of 2025); Kingdom Come Salvation trademark filed with EU; Dusk Fade is compared to Kingdom Hearts; Pokémon Home can grant Celebi after completing the Pokédex in FireRed/LeafGreen.

You know, we got a deep bench and it starts with you. I had a similar situation. There's something cursed about today, Thursday, August 13th, because we're doing the Wolverine preview right after this. Yeah. Awesome. Hell yeah. I'm at the Wolverine preview.

2:17I'm talking to Tam. You know what I mean? I'm talking to Mitchell Saltzman. I see Blue Thunder. He went to the influencer side of it. Yeah. I was like, okay, cool, Tam. I book you for this. and this isn't Shaded Tam. Tam hits me up weeks later, right? He's like, hey, but I'm sorry. I got a flight. It turns out I can't. I'm like, oh, no big deal. Don't worry about it. So then I go down the list. No, can't do it. Can't do it. I'm on a I'm doing them. Okay. Well, fuck. I'm like, I finally have to email PlayStation and I'm like, who else is previewing this game? I've run out of the people I know I need.

3:25I'm going to Gamescast next. Talking about Wolverine, too. Now, here's how you know he's dedicated, okay? I hit him up. He's like, I'm actually flying somewhere. I don't know if he said for work or he's flying somewhere, but he's like, I'll make it work. I'll do it from the hotel. I'm like, well, we'll see how the connection is. Maybe it's a cursed day. Maybe you don't actually make this show. We'll see how it all nets out. What are you getting into? What's up with you? Greg, I've been doing a lot of homework for work. I have an embargoed stuff that I'm doing. and then dipped my toe a little bit into Devil May Cry 5, which was fun to start off the week.

3:55Played a little bit of Agent 64, Spies Never Die. Oh, yeah, yeah, that's coming up on the schedule. Yeah, we're going to have a party mode about that tomorrow. So to check that one out just to see the vibe, of course, is it GoldenEye, is it Perfect Dark from the N64? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, it's a lot of that. And so I'm excited to play more of that. And that's been kind of my week. It's been a fun, just kind of everything kind of thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We'll see if I dive back more into Devil May Cry 5. Okay. Played the first five missions. There's 20 total. Okay. He got enough out of that, though?

4:24No, I think I'll dive back in. I didn't play four. So, like, a lot of things were happening. I didn't know what was going on. You know what I mean? I got you. Okay. I watched the video. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll be fine. Okay, great. Now you're all set for it. Yeah. Yeah, I installed a redacted game last night. Okay. But then too tired because I'm coming back from a work trip or whatever. So, they play it. And now it's like, okay, I got Thursday and Friday, and then we're supposed to get more games next week. And those games would take, you know, there's too much going on in the sauce. We're in the sauce here.

Nothing exists. Thank you to our Patreon producers who we couldn't do the show without. Over on patreon.com slash kindoffunny. Carl Jacobs, Omega Buster, Delaney the Somp Twining, and Lax Nomad. For now, let's begin the show with what is and forever will be the Roper Report. time for some news five items on the rope a report a baker's dozen mr yasman says is greg high or is he happy or is he both i'm happy for sure i'm not high but i will put this out there yeah shame on you mike shame on you audience i'm wearing new glasses and they're a new prescription and again i didn't expect to be here so i put them on i'm like i'll wear them for the morning and start trying to adjust and then i ran out in them so there might be a lot of this and that i'm like whoa because i'm seeing in 15d right now you know what i mean okay um well me and roger went out to do something special for the skyrim marathon stream yeah and uh i didn't have my glasses on so i couldn't see half of the things we were doing but i'm excited for you all to see it i've been thinking about getting new glasses greg i'm not ready for that new step yet yeah but i'm gonna get some why not i mean it's in the timeline i hear a lot of things about the next steps you're not ready to take And they're usually angry But when I hear some of the things that were Being coded back to me From my unnamed sources Oh okay, you heard about the three hernias Hear about that?

6:50Freak Ron Breaker, breaker of man He had a hernia, he had to go get surgery Ron, we love you so much, I'm glad that you're doing better Mike, three hernias? Freaking it Don't worry about it You gotta get surgery You gotta fix that, you gotta fix it Three hernias That's a lot of hernias, Mike at any moment they could twist and fall down but i'm fine i really want you to go get the search i know i will i will have a real conversation about that eventually for now we'll move on to story number one hogwarts legacy 2 is officially in the works confirms warner brothers this is kate over at ign a sequel to hogwarts legacy is actively in development according to warner brothers the studio confirmed in a recent earnings report that a quote second installment end quote for hogwarts legacy is in the works no details were provided on what the game will look like or when it might release, but it appears to be a serious focus for the company going forward.

7:41In the earnings report, WB expected that titles like Hogwarts Legacy 2 will be, quote, meaningfully, oh, I'm sorry, they will meaningfully contribute to its future revenue. Quote, here we go, everybody. We expect games to more meaningfully contribute to segment profitability going forward as our pipeline expands, including the second installment of Hogwarts Legacy, says the report. That's the corporate speak for you. That's what you're going to get. Nailed it. What do you think about that, Mike? Greg, I think this comes as no surprise for all of us that this would be the IP and the focus for this team.

8:16And, of course, to expand the revenue and see the future, we're, of course, going to Hogwarts Legacy, a game that has sold over 40 million copies to date as of 2025. It was one of the best-selling games of the year. It was the best-selling game of 2023, beating out Call of Duty, the first non-Call of Duty title since like 2008 or something crazy like that. And so, yeah, if you and I are looking at the portfolio, Hogwarts Legacy 2 is high on the priorities of support that, dump a bunch of investment funds into that, and hopefully see a lot of maximum returns. It's one of those no surprise, of course.

8:52They've talked before about, yes, as you just called out, all this mega success of Hogwarts Legacy, let alone the fact that we're video game people. We talk about the video game news and numbers every day. the tangential and circumstantial evidence you saw that i remember at that point in time i was very big on the tiktok and my tiktok feed and algorithm was infected with people leaving game stops and walmart's for the first buying the playstation 5 and hogwarts like this was going to be their life and obviously that was reflected in the numbers but at some point when we talk about how big a game is and how many units sold and you're like yeah sure that kind of becomes white noise but when you see actual people being like i haven't owned a playstation since a ps1 or an N64 and I'm buying this for that, you realize, oh my God, you got something there.

9:34Yeah, I mean, when we celebrate a million copies sold, two million, we get into the five millions, it's great, but when we talk about a title that's selling 40 million units, becoming one of the best-selling games of all time, that is something that's kind of groundbreaking there, right? Of course, we know the IP, we know the nostalgia for that, we know the love that the world has for that, no matter the feelings that we have with the creator and how bad that is, right? There is just like this fervor for all things harry potter no matter what and so yeah when you are the owner of that ip especially in the video game landscape where you're looking for massive wins you have to go after that my question then turns to this michael do you think this game ever actually happens because stick with me and we're just making conversation here yeah but as you know this paramount merger this paramount acquisition of wb has been in the wind for a long time Then it was June where they said we're going to wait until after this antitrust lawsuit.

10:30As you know, systems rigged. Good guys never win. So this is going to happen regardless. You know what I mean? And when it does, what does that mean for a game like this? How far along are they on a game like this? Does Paramount want to still be in the business of we own video game studios? Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of conversation to that. I'm sure a lot of people would love to pull the ripcord and get out of the video game industry and not have to sink a bunch of time and money into an effort that is sometimes a losing endeavor. But I think there's a big highlighter mark on this one particular project.

11:03If there's anything you're looking at, especially with a new Harry Potter television show in the works coming out, it's like you're looking at all this going, this has to stay, this has to remain. And when you're breaking down the numbers, that's the big circle of, no matter what, we keep this because it's going to pay off at the end of it all. I'm with you. I do think, to answer my question, make it probably worthless. I'm more worried if I'm WB Montreal. I'm more worried if I'm rock steady, honestly. I think that's where you get into what is going to happen to this division of gaming. Paramount Skydance already has their own division of gaming that's moving ahead on a lot of different things.

11:37I could see you fold these studios in that for sure. And again, you usually get that 18 months of everything's hunky-dory until it's like, shit, fuck. How far away from making a game are you? You did make a game and it was trash. That's when heads start to really feel like they roll. But who knows? Yeah, of course. We've also seen a lot of studios just kind of get folded in as support studios, right? And you could be looking at this of what's the timeline for Hogwarts Legacy 2? How do we speed that up? Is it more developers here? Is it cut half of this team, give you the other half? These are all questions that will eventually be answered, but that's what they would be looking at as a tactic there.

12:11Yeah, yeah. Okay. Did you play Hogwarts Legacy 1? No, I did not, actually. But I know the success. I know the thrill of it. I expect big things from Hogwarts Legacy 2, for sure. yeah for sure to serve that audience yeah i mean what's going on and again double down on what they've done with it because i know obviously so many people did love what it was and jump through it but yeah i never played it either no not being a harry potter fan and not being a jk rowling fan but of course not being a fan of the source material also made a very easy decision for me like well fuck that and fuck her but yeah i understand we'll see how that one nets out we'll see what goes on with that again i do think it happens but i also then wonder like they've confirm that it's actively in development this has been actively in development for a while right like you know what i mean like i feel like again you see the success of what you get with that original game you're immediately to that team cook on the second one and granted pre-pro when do you actually go when are we at but i feel like we would have been moving you imagine again wb not my most confident games publishing label i imagine that they are very much i would hope I would fucking hope that they're very much in the thing of cool.

13:19It ain't broke. Don't fix it. Do not make a new engine. Do not make a new world. Just where you take the existing assets and we're putting it. And I'm out in the woods, not being a Harry Potter fan nor having played this game, but 50 years past the other one. I don't know when I start running into Harry Potter. We're staying away from Harry Potter, but like, you know what I mean? Like I remember this as well before his story, age it up, new class, new thing. This is what you're going at. Yeah. I mean, it came out February 10th, 2023. So we are still right around the corner from that. It hasn't been that three years.

13:45So I think you are working on it. Yeah, I think you celebrate the first year of like bug fixing, quality of life improvements. Some looking at, are we doing DLC? Are we not? And then, yeah, like you brought up pre-production is probably in the mix. We're looking at the storyline, looking at the timeline. But I still think we have some time away from Hogwarts Legacy 2. I would say probably three years minimum. You think they wait for whatever next gen is? Or is this going to be a game that is trying to double down on the PlayStation 5 thing? Or again, as always, am I thinking too old school? That's not what Gens are anymore.

14:15Yeah. No, I think this will blur the lines of all the generations for sure. Sure. You're looking to capture the biggest audience for sure. You want to make money? We love making money. I do right there. Patreon.com slash kind of funny. Number two on the Roper Report. Darksiders 4 and a new Kingdom Come are planned by the end of March 2028, Embracer says. This is Chris Scullion over at VGC. The long-awaited Darksiders 4 and a new game in the Kingdom Come series are expected by the end of March, 2028, Embracer group says in an interim report covering its Q1 results for its current fiscal financial year, financial, I made up fiscal.

14:51The Swedish holding company gave an update on a number of some of its notable upcoming releases, as well as previously announced games, such as the two upcoming tomb Raider titles. The update also referred to dark siders for a new kingdom come game. Neither of which has yet been officially announced by name. Quote. God, I love, I love financial reports. Our pipeline is strengthening while Capex and OPEX continue to trend downwards. The statement reads, I have no idea what Capex and OPEX is. I'm sure I mispronounced them. The current financial year is anchored by Metro 2039 and Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis.

15:27Both expected to release in February 2027. That's capital expenditure. What's OPEX? I'll look it up right now. Operating expenditure. Fuck, get a suit and tie, Kevin. We're ready to go. We can run something, a business. I could be a CEO. Back to the quote. Momentum for Metro 2039, developed by our studio, 4A Games, is strong. After its reveal, the game raced to one million wishlists in record-breaking time, reaching this milestone faster than any title in our history. Wishlists continue to grow ahead of expectations. We are excited to let players experience the game at Gamescom in Cologne in a few weeks.

16:08In F1 2027-28, we expect to release the next game in the Kingdom Come franchise from War Horse Studios, Darksiders 4 from Gunfire Games, as well as the externally published Tomb Raider Catalyst from Crystal Dynamics, along with Flying Wild Hog in Eidos Montreal. End quote. While it hasn't yet confirmed a third game in the series, a trademark for Kingdom Come Salvation was filed with the EU Intellectual Property Office website last month.

16:41Michael, lots of ways to come at this. Let's start with the positive because you're Mr. Kingdom Come. Oh, yeah. You pander to the audience. You went all in and Kingdom Come 2 Deliverance. You loved it. And I loved it. I had a great experience with that. I think War Horse Studios, of course, saw a lot of positive buzz about that, a great reception to that, and, of course, a lot of sales for that. Oh, yeah. Right? And so they're building off of Kingdom Come Deliverance 1, 2018, to Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 in 2025. so I am a little surprised to see the FY 2027-2028 mark on this, especially because - Which is why it's probably, probably earnings report bullshit, you say, to make the people who are shareholders go, ah, see, we're going to have money coming down the pipeline.

17:23I can be cool. And, of course, the recent announcement with War Horse Studios and I believe a Lord of the Rings Middle Earth game as well, so that team has found a lot of success. I'm sure they have bolstered their numbers, especially probably because they're working on an engine that they know so well they know that they're going to keep on that they're not going to switch anything similar what you brought up with Hogwarts Legacy right and so I think the train is moving they're probably prepping that but I am a little surprised at that date so far the the idea of that date but yeah this is when we talk about the corporate speak to switch back over to that this is hey look at us we got a strong lineup, invest, invest, invest, slash be confident in us that we're going to deliver back your earnings somewhat.

18:07We realize here at the Embracer Group, we have fucked up the video game industry, but we assure you we fixed it all now. We're back. We laid all these things. We closed all the things. We got rid of these things. That deal fell through. And now look at us. We got games. We're back. Exactly. It took some time, but here's our lineup, right? And so kingdom come. You can rest assured that's going to do well, right? I have confidence in that unless something crazy happens. The idea of a Middle-Earth Lord of the Rings games, that's probably down the road, but they'll celebrate that just the same as this.

18:38I am more interested in Darksiders 4, if I'm being honest with you. Does Darksiders 4 have the juice in 2026? Coming off of a co-op experience in Darksiders Genesis. I don't know. Some remasters. It's that thing where I don't know how much you've heard me rant about it because it's not one of my more famous rants, but it comes up every so often. And it's that I want Darksiders to go the fuck away and never come back. Darksiders, you were never that good. You were never that good. You're never good enough to get us to where we have a Darksiders fucking 4. Are you fucking kidding me right now? Darksiders 4.

19:14The first game, they were like, Mark Hamill's in it. It's kind of like Zelda. And I played it for a little bit. I was like, yeah, okay, no, thank you. And then I want to say they keep making them. They don't. They made a couple of them, and then they keep re-releasing the same ones over and over. definitive definitive i don't know it's like what the fuck man stop stop how is this still going how is this happening that is the one that i'm most interested in right of course tomb raider has the ip in the name we know that kingdom come we just talked about but dark siders a franchise that has like been celebrated as just that double a your cousin's house title like the blockbuster rental for a sleepover is this the one that i'm like hanging my hat on on a business side of things going if you're an embracer group you fucking are i guess so because it's probably one of your largest ips it's probably one of the ones you look at and go i think people celebrate this still they'll come for this but we are living in a world where people are celebrating the double ip kind of vibe they like the hack and slash genre the kind of i don't know how to describe darksiders but corny you know like that's where i put it i didn't see the original chat but somebody says something crawled up greg's ass punching down i don't know where i assume you're bringing this up and you're bringing up midnight suns nothing's up my ass except a good taste in video games we're all i enjoy fucking sixes and 6.5s all the time you gotta be able to look at and say that's and i'm not even i don't even i'm not even familiar in darksiders but if we're talking about midnight suns bub i'll fucking tell you right now so yeah i mean this is one of their larger projects they're of course going to bring it up on the earnings call but it will be more interesting of like how does this land critically and just out to the public are people flocking to this title unless it is maybe more of a budget title, right?

20:57Can this slide in as a$40 win for them that sells a couple million? That's where I put my mind on a Darksiders 4 in 2026. Unless all of a sudden it's amazing. Yeah, which it could be. Go for it. Yeah, maybe. You could do that. Maybe. Embracer. You know what I mean? Embracer, I don't necessarily trust to do that, but we are talking about Kingdom Come. We are talking about things there. The other one I'd throw out in this conversation Again, you give me that Thanos gauntlet. You know what I mean? Like, no more Dark Souls. You know what I mean? All the games go to dust. I never have to see that fucking purple scythe again.

21:35That stupid skull face. The one I wouldn't snap out of existence, but I just look at all the time and I'm like, Metro, I don't know you. I couldn't identify you in a lineup, but you keep making games as well. Like, you're just there. That's an IP that's just constantly going. They have perfected the Metro formula. there are some do you play this do you ever play i've played a couple of them i have never finished one nor have i loved one i've tried um but there's some metro sickos out there there's something about the first person shooter campaign just a solo single single campaign that people want and love i guess and when it comes to metro right where it's just post-apocalyptic russia or wherever and you're just in the middle of it that's what people want i'm i'm blown away good for them yeah you find out it's good for the darksiders nerds too i mean you're still getting them i don't know the last time you played a darksiders and we're really happy with it you know what i mean i don't think people are happy about genesis we got some super chats in here it's time to wade into this one see what the fuck these nerds want to say to me today you know what i mean can't just be happy i'm back go buy the shirt kind of funny.com slash where's good well mr hawks comes in with good math on average today's hosts have one and a half hernias nice i don't we shouldn't that's not where we should go with it uh alvaro cn says asper asper aspire aspire right yeah with a y just spell it normal uh parentheses embracer just re-released a lord of the rings game yes they have of course i mean we're gonna focus on the franchise that sell and we're gonna focus on the nostalgia factor and so it was a cool little announcement of like we're gonna sell some remasters of these games and it's like yeah of course like make lord Lord of the Rings, two towers with EA.

23:15Call them up. I'm sure they would love money. Flying Go-Nink. Probably something there they wanted me to say, but I couldn't do it. Super Chats says, Darksiders 2 was good and Genesis was good. The other, not so much. Midnight Sun, the gameplay is fun. The story was okay, I guess. Now you see right there, Flying Go-Nink. I'm just going to call you Go-Nink. You're on the right track there with Midnight Suns. That's all I'm saying. You know what I mean? But then you got Psychos. like the one one who says Greg is wrong about Midnight Suns. This is super chat. It's an 8.5 out of 10. Midnight Suns would be an 8.5 out of 10 on the PlayStation 3 early generation right next to Ryan Clements given folklore a nine.

23:56I could see an 8.5 for Midnight Suns gameplay. Again, if they fix the fucking shit that bogs down, what I want to do is play the goddamn cards. Maybe we'd be talking about an 8.5. You know what I mean? You got to come in here. You know what I mean, Mike? And you got to let them know. You came in here and you planted your flag yesterday You said welcome back audience I'm here Sorry everybody I know you wanted me to come in And just say you were always right but you're not always right I'm always right Greg Miller maybe you forgot that I saw some other people when they were talking about Darksiders Saying oh Darksiders is better than Starfield Okay You know what I mean okay everybody Okay sure I'll get Todd on the phone if you want We can talk about again how many millions of hours have been invested in Starfield You know what I mean and why it's still going But okay silver j hawkins just to close out super chat says greg repeating a super chat that got missed from yesterday warning tainted grail fall of avalon uses slash used ai yeah here we go now alvaro cm pops back up with the super chat midnight suns uh has an 83 on metacritic shades that's not a shades you know what i mean it's not a shades answer for you okay don't worry about it and anybody anybody can be metacritic varied verified go go through some of those when you get down to midnight sons fan.com and that's what they're you know they had no shit they gave it a 10 and that fucking skews the entire score yep the razzmodeon says there is no starfield for there doesn't need to be because we have a fantastic mod community you could get on right now infinite adventures i've been doing it i picked up this guy he was naked out there and i said what's going on turns out he's a guy too and he jumped from he jumped from like Elder Scrolls time and he was there.

25:36It's a good quest. That's a good quest. Darksiders fans like, but I got to go to hell again. Like, what are we even talking about?

However, Greg's right. Midnight suns is a snore. Oh, let me explore the Abbey. Let me play the game. Stop it. And that's how they wrote it. That's not me embellishing. That's just me. Again, chaos killer X seven. I want to thank you. Okay. Cause today is one of those days where I I look into my field here, and that's all of you, all right? The hearts, the minds that I've influenced for nearly 20 years, and I go, where did I go wrong?

Read the full transcript

28:32Why are so many pushing back today on the Marvel Midnight Sun stuff, on the Darksiders stuff? And then I see there's people like Chaos Killer out there. I'm sorry, I'm getting choked up. There's people like Chaos Killer X7 out there who have learned from my messages and my teaching and understand a good game versus it. It's not good. I enjoy it. You know what I mean? like the words matter that we use on the review scale the patented kind of funny review scale thank you story number three uncharted designer says he doesn't want to make a remake or remaster because quote it doesn't make any sense this is chris scullion again at vgc.news and it's times like these where i get two chris scullion stories in a row and i go huh where's jordan midler you You know what I mean?

29:18Hey, big dog. Where you at? The hugest dog. The biggest dog. Big dog. Where you at? Is he holding up the earth right now like Atlas? Is that what he's doing? A former Naughty Dog developer who was a designer on the first three Uncharted games says he doesn't want to see the first entry being remade or remastered. In an interview with FRVR, Benson Russell, who was at Naughty Dog for nearly a decade and worked as a game designer on Uncharted 1, 2, 3, and The Last of Us, was asked whether he'd like to see a remake or remaster of the original Uncharted game. Russell replied that he didn't want to see this happening because he doesn't see the point in remastering a game like Uncharted, as opposed to an older game that's less easily accessible today.

29:57Quote,

30:10Uncharted, as a thing, is still in the zeitgeist. There's already a version you can play on modern consoles to get the experience. what's the point of remastering or remaking it end quote addressing suggestions that one reason to remake the first game would be to make it slower more emotional game like modern naughty dog titles russell said that would change the entire point of it quote i just don't see the point of remaking it you have to rewrite the whole story to make it better which means you're going to change the spirit and you're going to change the scenes and what the first one was all about right uh you're going to have to add all these scenes or take away things and a lot of key set pieces are you going to keep those are you are you going to have to redo them because they don't fit your story he added i honestly thought the same thing about last of us part one these are old games for a reason instead russell said he would rather see naughty dog quote take the spirit of the series and make a new game in an earlier time era and go back to what it was end quote michael he's right okay mr russell like you're you're spitting facts yeah big dog like you're You're saying what I think the community and gamers are feeling, especially in the last kind of remaster cycle that we got.

31:19But unfortunately for Benson, who is a former Naughty Dog employee, it's all about the money. And we will remake Uncharted until we die if people keep buying it. So, like, I love what you're saying there. I totally agree and feel that. But unfortunately, if dollars go up and it makes sense, we do it. I guess my thing here, and granted, I've been on vacation playing games so I could come back with great opinions. Has there been a new rumor swirling for an Uncharted 1 remake or a remaster? It was just a question from the, because like, fuck no, but like, let's make another Uncharted. Like, the going back in time thing, I'm less about.

32:02I would rather them go forward with where we left Uncharted 4. We've all talked about this. Spoilers for Uncharted 4. I'd rather see us. Let's pick up with Nate and his daughter, but we're playing as the daughter Cassie, right? And then Nate's our Sully and we have a lane in the mix or whatever. We go do that. I think that'd be a great way to pass the torch. And maybe even it is that it isn't Nate in the Sully role. It is. Nate is a phone call halfway through the game where he gives a piece of advice when she needs it the most. And then she's off on an adventure. You don't have to be so hackneyed as to repeat the thing, but like that would be way more fun.

32:33I would love to go off and do that. Then go back and have a young Drake moment or do something like that. You know what I mean? like no no or be solid or any of that shit like no no no let's let's uncharted is still in the zeitgeist as a brand and i think you could do a lot of fun stuff with it and i don't think it needs to be this is podcasting broad brush i don't think it needs to be as lazy as oh let's just remake one because i also just think yeah you could go get the collection you could go get this thing i miss the days where it really felt like playstation in particular let their developers do things by generational basis and then you've put it down you went cool i'm done i'm done with jack and Daxter I know there was you know lost frontier but Naughty Dog moves on right all right we're done with Uncharted which is kind of messy but we're on the last of us now there's Interstellar like let's see people go we're sucker punch right where hey we do a whole bunch of infamous we do a whole bunch of slide we do a whole bunch of infamous then we move on now we're doing a whole bunch of ghosts and what comes after that like I like that lineage and moving on and not having to double back and say okay well what about x y and z yeah it's interesting why are these conversations not being had in the boardroom or are they right of like oh they have like you the creatives and the gamers have the vision of what we all would like to see and what we want right and then there's the bean counters and the people who are like hey i'm investing a ton of money into this and i just want to see the dollars go up and that's where we kind of have this miss this disconnect here where it's like why is that not happening but we also now we're on these longer dev cycles now we are looking at a team like naughty dog who is creating a lot more titles and it's not Uncharted, right?

34:02We are kind of looking at a Todd Howard and Bethesda situation where it's like, hey, you want to go back to the thing you love? Well, that's really far down the timeline, right? And so are we bringing in a new studio to make this? Is there a new studio that's just going to do a remake of one to kind of give the people what they want with Uncharted? That's where we kind of stand right now in 2026 with this franchise. My hope here would be, and I know it's a lost hope to ever hope a corporation understands anything, But for where PlayStation is at right now, where you have, I mean, you're still in a storm when we talk about hardware.

34:35Obviously, when we talk about the ramifications of let's chase live service and that was a bad move, right? But to be almost on the other side of at least the game decisions and how you've run your studios, right? To sit there and have the lesson be, well, let's remake something, that would piss me off. Because, yeah, okay, like, I guess in theory, to what Benson's talking about, if we turn to Studio X, because it's not going to be Naughty Dog, and said, hey, remake Uncharted 1. It does become, okay, well, we're going to go through and we have to revamp the story and do different things and film new content.

35:09And at that point, you're making, I think, a new game. It would be faster because you have the bones of it and the outline, so whatever. But it'd be so much more exciting to go make another Uncharted. And I would also say, you know, as I continue to try to figure out how to make single-player games profitable and make these companies understand, I would still be like, cool, go make a new Uncharted entry that is smaller. It doesn't need to be a sprawling thing like Uncharted 4 was, right? Like, I always forget the name of it, but, you know, the Chloe and Nadine one. No, no, no. That's not right.

35:38No, it is right. It is right. Yeah, Lost Legacy. Thank you so much. But, like, make one in that size, and let's sell it for 50 bucks or whatever, and, like, let's, you know, get moving, especially as PlayStation moves to all digital. Like, let's play with that scale. Let's give you an Uncharted game. Hopefully, we're telling you in sequences that you're going to get faster. We're going to do this thing. You are speaking the dream, Greg, and it's an interesting one. Of course, I really agree with Benson here of like, you can play Uncharted. We have all that. Like it's there on modern consoles. Give me remasters and remakes of games that are hard to play or like games that don't match up well now with modern day controller settings and keyboard bindings.

36:14Like those are the remasters I want. I want the games that are so old, I can't play them anymore or like they deserve this. I don't need Uncharted 1 being remade again because I can play it right now and it feels just fine. As you all know, I know everyone here. Melodic Quest says, don't drag Nolan North out of the retirement home. Nolan North is still the hardest working man. He's fucking Deadpool right now in Marvel Tocan Fighting Souls. All right? Let's not be throwing shade about Nolan North being retired. Not to mention, if you have a child and you turn on Blaze and the Monster Machines, fucking there he is.

36:46You know what I mean? He's out there goddamn doing. I'm looking at this thing right now. He's doing more Rick and Morty, apparently. He's got Chuck E. Cheese mini episodes. hell yeah tomb raider the legend of transformers earth spark blazing the monster machines 173 episodes that's get that check god damn right he's good yeah you know what i mean he also narrates audiobooks like i'll i'll put on a kid's book every so often for ben or we used to he's kind of grown out of it i guess but like in the car and there he'd be ready to go don't be talking about nolan north all right don't do it but don't yeah don't remake this give me a new one yeah give us a new one where will the uncharted series go where are we uh it's just one i like uncharted a lot and that's one that i've been dying for of like let's get back here and yeah we're kind of we're waiting we're in the holding pattern for this one number four it's a dusk fade review roundup currently a metacritic of 78 and open critic of 84.

37:48Your Steam description reads as hopefully we see a trailer because I think I know this game but I'm not sure. Shatter the shackles of time as you jump, swing, and dash through a fantastic world in this love letter to classic 3D action platformers. Zirian, accompanied by his mechanical cuckoo. Cuckoo? Cuckoo. Cuckoo? I like cuckoo because it looks like a little bird. Yeah. Must save his sister from mysterious clock tower that has plunge the land into eternal night. Now, this is the one I think a lot of people saw and said, oh, this looks like Kingdom Hearts, right? Yeah, this is the one that we've been talking about when we do the Hey Every Game coming out in August, September, all these new games.

38:28Every time we see this, everyone kind of gets excited of like, oh, it looks like Kingdom Hearts. Like this could be something interesting for like a Tim, a Mike. Maybe the team gets behind this because the art style looks good. The gameplay looks fun from what we're watching. And so we've been kind of patiently waiting for this. Well, let's see what the reviews say, everybody. We go to Usama Maymood over at Dual Shockers who gave it a 9 out of 10. Dusk Fade reminded me that a game doesn't need to reinvent the wheel to leave an impression. Sometimes, all it takes is a colorful world, satisfying movement, charming characters, and a genuine sense of passion behind every little detail to make you feel enthralled.

39:03There are certainly areas where its simplicity may not resonate with everyone, particularly with its straightforward combat and occasionally childish writing, but I never felt like those things took away from what Weird Beluga, great dev name, set out to accomplish. If anything, they made Dusk Fade feel sincerer. It's a game that wears its inspirations proudly while still having enough personality to stand on its own. After spending so much of my life playing games, it's always nice when something comes along that makes me feel like a kid again, wandering around a colorful world and seeing what might be hiding around the next corner.

39:37okay meanwhile uh jazz sagu over at cog connected gave it a 75 out of 100 dusk fate is a confident reminder of why 3d platforms platformers once reigned supreme packed with charm and character it's a great adventure which places a movement and traversal at the forefront while the game's influences are evident and it doesn't add much to the formula it's a well-crafted adventure that reminds us why the genre remains so beloved although it doesn't reinvent the wheel it does prove there's still plenty of life left in classic 3d platforming and then final one here comes from azario lopez over at noisy pixel gave it an 8 out of 10 dusk fade is an imaginative 3d platforming adventure with a strange memorable world and satisfying exploration its lengthy pacing shallow progression and underwhelming rewards hold it back but strong platforming and a surprising amount of heart make the journey worthwhile i won't lie to you i expected harder reviews when I saw a 78 on this.

40:32Really? I thought we were going to be a little bit harder on this, but from everything from those three reviews seem positive. Seems like something I actually kind of want to check out and just give a try to you think you're going to. Yeah. I would like to give a try for this. Maybe one night just to see if I fall in love. This definitely reminds me of like, if I was 12 years old, this could be an awesome game for me. Yeah. It's definitely giving, you know, my two children tell you right now, pine, they would love this. Okay. I think they would love this. Yeah. That's a good point. Yeah. Ben will probably be looking into it.

41:02I'd seen it earlier. I'd requested a code. I hadn't had time to kick the tires on it yet. It looks good. And these reviews speak to it. I do wonder, you know, they talk about it being a little bit lengthy or whatever, and a little bit simple in the combat. I mean, I, maybe that's how I'm going to fall with it to get in there, play it for an hour or two and be like, okay, I see what you're doing, but I don't want to commit to X hours of this, but not bad for review. Mike, you playing dusk fade, Falling in love with it and never being able to stop playing Duskfade would be huge news. But I'm sick of the big news.

41:33Can I get the smallest news I need to know about? Where would I go for it? Of course, Greg. I take you to our last story, the Wii News channel, where we cover all the small news items you need to know about. Number five, the Wii News. From Nintendo Everything, the Pokemon company announced that it's shutting down Pokemon Bank. The service goes offline on February 26th, 2027. Michael I'm the new generation of Pokemon fans You're my Pokemon guy I'm the new generation of Pokemon fans I've heard the old heads forever Be pissed off at Pokemon Bank About this, that, the other, blah blah I forget We have something new that's replacing Pokemon It's already out there Yeah, that's it, right What's the fucking difference?

42:17I don't understand If you're a diehard Pokemon fan you know this well but I am not one of those of like when we got into the bank and storing Pokemon then transferring them into the new games that you're playing I never got it it's just it says bank was home for DS generation and the demon hacker says Pokemon bank death means there's zero way to transfer from GBA to modern console so again what I would call out is stop being old be new be part of it you know what I mean like I understand that you had a Charizard you really fucking loved on GBA now you got a fucking Pikachu that swings. You don't need to introduce them.

42:51They don't need to be there. You got new Galarian. Last time I checked when fucking huge ass losers like Tim start up Final Fantasy 7, they don't mourn that Rifa from fucking Final Fantasy 6 can't come over and play. It's a new fucking... It's a new game. It's a new world. I've never done all this shit. You're the voice of the new Pokemon. I'm just saying, man. I'm happy you're saying it. It's like, ditch the old Pokemon, catch new ones in the new game. Start a new life out there. Why do you want to start with a whatever? Why am I bringing Gen 6 with me? I'm a Gen 7 guy. Altaria saved my fucking bacon in that Pokemon game.

43:30Love that fucking guy. I don't need him to come over here. I'll catch another Altaria. I'll be stoked that he's there. You know what I mean? It's a new bacon. Exactly. Who's going to be the savior of this one? You know what I mean?

43:44This means something to somebody. I'm too fucking, I like two weeks in two days is too much time off content. I got too much energy. I'm overcharged over here. Anyways, that's a shame for all you bank weirdos. From Noble, Pokemon Fire, Red Version, Pokemon Leaf, Green, Pokemon Home support launches in October. You get a Celebi on Pokemon Home if you finish the Pokedex in FRLG. There you go. Still need to get back to that. You know what I mean? Yeah. I was playing Pocopia when it dropped. I was so into Pocopia. Keep that energy for the end of the year. Oh, for Pocopia? Don't worry about Pocopia.

44:23We did this on a show recently, right? Yeah, when I did Pragmata. I still think right now it's mixtape. Then it's Pocopia. Then it's probably Pragmata. Yeah, I'm saying it right. Yeah, sure. We got to get back to Leaf Green. Oh, that's the energy I need. I thought you were saying energy of remember Pocopia. I want you to remember Pocopia. Okay. But I'm impressed that you're like, I got to get back to Leaf Green. Well, it works out really well not having a Pokemon this year. That's true. Because I was hungry for it, but then I'm playing Hermit the Pig, you know, from yesterday. And that kind of fills a little bit of a turn-based gap.

44:55And then, of course, I got Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy Residence? Is it Residence? Oh, yeah, Residence. Yeah, I'm stoked for that because you know how much I love Octopath. It's going to be the same vibe there. But I know I need to get back to this. But I also am just stoked about the next Pokemon Winded Waves. We got a whole bunch of stuff going on. Fucking Pokemon World. Pokemon World? What's your fucking play with that anymore? Well, we're doing the Skyrim Marathon stream a week earlier. So now I'm free all weekend. I'm there. Come on. Go on. If you're going to Pokemon Worlds, come up to me and tell me how much you like Midnight Suns.

45:27I'll knock your fucking ass out.

45:31Wild. I won't do that. I won't do that. It's not legally binding. I'll be there with my son. You know what I mean? Don't make me embarrass you in front of my son. He'll be like, oh, dad, all your fans are so weak. I'll be like, I know. of all those blood over my heads. I know. God, Pokemon World is going to be awesome. It's going to be good. It's going to be a good time. PlayStation Plus extra games for August 26 have been announced. No, yeah, that's August 2026. Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Vampire Survivors, Hell is Us. Come on, everybody. The fucking horse girl game. Shout out to Pretty Derby.

46:06Uma, Musumumus. That's why they do it. That's why they swing. That's when it goes by, I'm like, I'll take the ball. I'll take the ball on that one. Uma Musume. Petty Horse Derby. Two Point Museum. Metro Exodus. Another Metro game. Dying Light 2. Coming to premium, you're getting Onimusha, Dawn of Dreams, and Atlantis, The Lost Empire. That's a solid lineup. That's a great lineup. Yeah, yeah. Machine Party has sold one million copies. Yo, shout out to that game. I wish I was allowed to know more, but we are set right now, as always can change, to play it with the one, the only Felicia Day on Monday.

46:40Yes. And so you told me in the meeting yesterday, do not look into what this game is. Yeah, we had so much fun with this game. We're going to put on a new foursome in this. Gary Witta's coming. Felicia Day, Greg and Joey. That's your tease for Monday. Going to be awesome. Watch the buzz, everybody. Mind Diver is coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on August 27th. It's already on PC. Crimson Desert Nintendo Switch 2 version is being planned for the first half of 2027. Wow. That's going to be a Switcher situation. Yeah, 100%. You know what I mean? We're like, wow, they're jamming this on that?

47:12That's awesome. And I think Crimson Desert now has cross-save, right? So it's like if you wanted to pick that up from somewhere else that you're playing, I think so. Kevin, am I right on that? I believe you are. Thank you, Kev. Harvest Moon Echoes of Terradia is delayed to October 15th. Wow. A game in October. You don't see that. It's very rare. You don't. They've all run. Dave the Diver is coming to mobile on September 17th. Okay. Warhammer 40 ,000. Dawn of War 4 is delayed to December 3rd. Oh, here we go. contact protocol launches spring 2027 on xbox series ps5 nintendo switch 2 and pc shell bound launches on september i'm sorry summer 2028 xbox playstation 5 nintendo switch 2 pc ether wizard life launches fall 2028 xbox playstation 5 switch 2 pc precognition the new game from sam barlow launches in 2028 on xbox playstation 5 nintendo switch 2 and pc and crescent county launches summer 2027 on Xbox, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC.

48:10I was excited for that final rock block of games there. Five of them because we reacted live yesterday to the Kinetic Publishing Showcase. You can go watch it on YouTube.com slash kindoffunnygames. At the end of it, the one and only Sam Barlow shows up to be interviewed about precognition and why he decided to show no footage. Really good interview. Go check it out. But why did he show no footage? He says you can play through the whole thing. It looks like trash right now. I'm fine. But show me a little bit of footage. announce the cast

48:41Dionysus Dionysus I can never get it what was the first one something control it's contact protocol and it looks fucking dope go watch this Kinetic it was sponsored but this is why I'm saying because they wouldn't pay for my opinion nor could they afford me alright trust me Midnight Sun I'm kidding go watch the Kinetic showcase on youtube.com slash kind of funny games it's the first one it's awesome we all liked it a lot a really good showcase just how to do it it was solid it's like taking the page out of the Xbox dev direct. Let the devs talk and tell you about their games and mention games that aren't there.

49:10They nailed it. And that is the end of Wii News. We move on to Super Chats to see who else has shown up to say that I was right and that everybody else was wrong. Rival Kizuna says, Greg just swinging at people. God, I miss this. That's what I'm here for. You know what I mean? A humble Psyduck says, Hey, Greg, I lost my dog Ruby. I'm sorry. Rugby a couple weeks ago. was hoping you could give him a shout out. Y 'all are great. Thanks. A humble side up. We are sorry that you lost your dog rugby. I know personally how painful it is, but that's the gig, man. Yeah. You know what I mean? All those years, hopefully you got with rugby, right?

49:54The pain you feel right now is just showing you how real that connection is and how long it'll stay with you. Look at the dichotomy of this show. I can yell at people and threaten to beat them up and then cry five minutes later.

50:07Let's get back to video games. Robbed Hood. No, Robin Hood. But he spelled it weird. How many dudes just I got how many dudes just based on Snowbike Mike's recommendation. I love it. You play how many dudes? I did. It didn't. Not your thing? No, that was my thing. It's not that it was bad. It was one of the games. I guess I also tried. Were you big into Bellatro? No, I never was. You have my questions when I think of how many dudes. I was going to recommend it to you yesterday, but I was like, I don't know where Greg kind of falls. I was like, I know you liked Vampire Survivors, but I don't know where you fall on like a, or a Bellatro.

50:38These kind of new deck building, roguelike experiences. Yeah. How deep you are into those. I really haven't been bit by one. Like there, I don't think, I can't think of. The ball pits of the world. I enjoyed it. The rack coins that. Yeah. Rack coins, I looked at it, I was like, that's not my thing. Yeah. I mean, it's, it kind of falls into, I'm not at all an insult to the game. A lot of those I feel when I look at them go, oh I see the enjoyment factor in it but for as much as I value my gaming time to spend 30 minutes with that I think would then be like okay that's 30 minutes I'm not getting with what I should be reviewing some narrative I'm trying to do some other whatever that I feel is like more my kind of game so I don't want to get into something like that where it's like okay even um I did the demo for Blood Dungeon and I was like oh man this is a lot of fun but like Blood Dungeon beyond the demo I wasn't like, I don't know if I'll be back to play 50 hours of it.

51:34I've never seen where you stand on the auto battlers. Vampire Survivors, you're clearly moving. It's an auto battler, but you're moving. There's strategy to that. There's progression in a very interesting one. With how many dudes it's simply like, this is an auto battle arena. You're going to put your dudes down in the arena and they're just going to fight and you're going to watch. When I think of you, Greg, I think of something a little more active. Yeah. We have a lot of Super Chats. Thanks everybody so much. you must have seen the show was coming in light and knew we'd have to go uh demon hacker says speaking of audiobooks how's the expanse going if memory serves i bought the audiobook for the expanse but i never started it okay is my thing right now i'm i'm reading listening to uh living dead uh this i didn't know about this i did a whole thing on gregway about it go listen to gregway if you want more on that but it's uh i'm enjoying that right now i'm like 12 chapters into that right now i'm having a great time you know how much i love okay zombie movies let alone Romero.

52:28So like this book, that's some of his stuff inspired by the guy who did shape of water. Daniel Krause. I think you're looking at it, right? Yeah, he's on it. Yeah, nailed it. We just got to like the shoe has dropped. Oh, you know, the dead walk. And I'm like, ah, this is a good build up to it. I like how this one. Uh, Zach's on Galaxian says double birthday tax. My dad's was yesterday and mine is today. Uh, we are spending two weeks in Spain, partly for the eclipse and partly to see the sights we missed the eclipse because of weather but we had a fun adventure anyway happy birthday to you and your dad yeah what a beautiful little combo there to have your birthday right after your dad that's awesome did you ever do a vacation with your family like that no i've never gone like that with my family yeah for sure no that would be wild yeah we were up and you know we're on this vacation and like jen and her sister are talking about family vacations and her sister turned to me and was like where did you guys go for i'm like we didn't and jen's like you went camping i'm like yeah we had a motor home until like the fifth grade or whatever you know what i mean like yeah we didn't like go like we went to disney once like i don't have this like built in that's cool i mean that's what we want with bet you know jen just came on the i mean you guys are killing that it's right you'll be interesting to see when he gets into his 20s and 30s yeah is it still hey mom and dad let's take a european trip together on the one time i think that's the big thing you know like so again coming off of summer vacation here it's that idea and you've probably heard it but maybe you haven't of like when you know we had Ben and maybe even Jen was pregnant she was like me and Jen are both work all looks that's you know we would work now it's off and she looked at me and she's like we get 18 summers with him so we're taking two weeks off every year to be with him and I was like alright cool like that was very hard it still is very hard today I profusely apologized as I said like I know I told you this is Gamescast I got it for the record Jen is the one who was the first one to say go just go you gotta I understand I'm like okay whatever but yeah the hope is We are building this into his life and everything.

54:21So you do get to this. It's 18 summer. Sure. But at 19, he's, we go somewhere with him or whatever. And then when he has his own family and he is 30 and again, we've, we've talked to him, even though he doesn't understand any of it, right. Of like, whatever his dream is, wherever he wants, if he moves to New York, we moves to England. I don't know. You know what I mean? It would still be that idea of like, we'll still come two weeks and be around, not in your house, get a hotel. You know what I mean? Like we'll see for dinners every other night. You know what I mean? but like we still want to keep that tradition i love it greg and i think you guys have the great and right idea for me i think you're instilling the confidence of travel which is a big deal for the youngsters right of like you're hoping at 18 to 25 you've got it in his mind that's like hey the world is there you should go out there and travel right a lot of kids get bogged down with school to work and they don't get to travel that much and it's like you're instilling in him right now it's like hey take a week go to spain yeah go to australia i'm the blue why not you know yeah 100 % I think that's something to build in there and it's gonna be really interesting even though he already gets tastes of it obviously he's come to on work trips before but even when he's older and able to self-entertain a bit more you know what I mean of like cool you and me are going to BlizzCon you know what I mean come on down and go to BlizzCon with me and sit in the audience for the one panel we have to do or whatever it is and then we'll bum around and then we'll do it yeah my son's gonna be at BlizzCon this year but not at BlizzCon you know what I mean he's in the hotel room he can't be seeing what little is up to out there oh man i was gonna say that would be a wicked mind-blowing experience there uh gavin super chat and says i played through all the uncharted games last month for the first time and i agree with everything you guys are saying but also the first one at least definitely needs a remake because it's a very old game yeah i mean i had nick play it and yeah i mean you could still play it that's the thing is like still playable but yeah it shows its age shorty sorry i wasn't understanding where i was going when i first read it with the recent show cancellations at kind of funny is tim now considered the asha sharma of the review industry of the in-review industry only time will tell p.s greg deserves the kind of funny game showdown win as always thank you i have been robbed as you know and now the doomsday device is in play yep and so kevin can i get the one tim i know you're not here i know that but when you see this when you're watching this, probably while G is cooking a lovely meal, you're entertaining baby Sammy, I need you to look around your apartment right now, all right?

56:46See the lovely life you have. See how happy all three of you are. And know that if you cash in stars in the bank, I will open the nuclear device. I will open the doomsday device. And everything you see in your living room and kitchen right now will go away. I'm begging you, as your friend, as your brother, as one of the people who spoke at your wedding, don't make me do this. Don't make me open the doomsday device. Cash in, stars in the bank on Andy or Mike, Team Purple. Just do it. Don't make me open my case. I love you.

57:36Levi Hunt Superchat and says with Greg and Mike both on the tactical train right now have either of you put any real time into Mugenics it's one of my favorites game of the year for game of the year I put 20 hours in uh it is a really fun and tough as nails game I'm really bad at it yeah I haven't figured out the breeding system quite yet yeah there's no I know I know I remember going into it. But yeah, this is a fun game. It's just too difficult for me. I think I'm like one step below that on my tactical journey. I of course respect Edmund in the games he makes. I never like the art style. I don't like the art style of Mugenics, which is a turnoff and the same thing for Binding of Isaac.

58:19I know how good it is. Jen's sister was up there playing like 300 hours still when we were hanging out at the cabin. and I was just like I get it it's just like there's other games that are that are more appealing to me that I would want to jump in visually and spend a lot of time on the cats and the puke and stuff I'm not about it Goldfish Boy says can we get merch celebrating Mike's hernias yes yeah once I once they're repaired once they're repaired get them in a jar we put them on the set oh we can auction them off during top 100 all proceeds go to me Jeff Bull Jr. says love for Tim people dunking on him for making hard decisions also welcome back Greg and get well school soon Mike if I would have redhead we wouldn't have done that you know what I mean yeah no never of course the joke about in review is fine you know what I mean that yeah I we of course we need to stop there's too many video game things we got a lot going too many preview events too many people in and out too many that's 100 % I'm not joking about the stars in the bank

59:14RC Platypus says respectfully the RPG part of Midnight Suns really grows on you once you play the game long enough again I'm 15 hours in and I just want to get through it to get back to the fun card battles. That's long enough. It's not even that the systems are bad. Like, I understand. I want to upgrade my cards. It's very fulfilling to take a card and, oh, my God, this doubled the damage by, you know, doing this thing. It's not to sit there, Tony Stark fucking moving this thing around, and they want research and they want artifacts, but, like, I'm like, come on. Make this a menu-based system.

59:44They could have done a lot of stuff here. MikeLikeMusic says, Greg, I'm meeting Troy Baker at Chicago Fan Expo tomorrow. Is there anything you want me to tell him for you? Yes, Kevin, give me the one. Mike, I need you to tell Troy Baker to call Tim in front of you and tell him not to cash in stars in the bank on me. Tell him to tell Tim that the Doomsday device is real and will ruin Tim's life. Thank you. You can even boil it down just to that. Say, Troy, I need you to call Tim Gettys right now and tell him that the Doomsday device Greg has will ruin his life. Easy. Avnut says, who wins rock, paper, scissor, Greg or Mike?

1:00:28Okay. I was going to say, rock, paper, scissor, shoot. Rock, paper, scissor, shoot. Rock, paper, scissor, shoot. Boom. Greg wins. And then final one of the day comes from ShortyZ93. Mike, post-surgery, we expect the hardest truffle shuffle you got. Oh, my God. Jesus. I'll hit one for you. No, please. I'm trying to work on the Dougie. You'll rip some stuff. I want to do the Dougie. What's the one dance move, Greg, that you wish you could master? The worm. The worm? I'd love to do the worm. Forward worm. Yeah. Yeah, because I feel like I got the backwards worm. You got the backwards worm. I got the backwards worm, but like the forward worm feels like that's the worm, like the real worm.

1:01:05Backwards worm, too easy. Fair enough. Oh, okay. There's some good, I got, I like this, I like this, I like this. Tundra Boy says, Hogwarts Legacy wasn't the only game to outsell Call of Duty. Rockstar managed the feat in 2013 with GTA 5 and then in 2018 with Red Dead Redemption 2. Nice. Dexter says, Marvel's Midnight Suns is the persona of the Marvel Universe. And that is so spoken like somebody who's never actually played a Persona game. Persona games, so good. So connected to these characters. You're fucking connected to Robbie Reyes? You're listening to this idiot fucking talk about... Y 'all need to play better games That's the problem really I guess a lot of you got kicked by a mule Forgot every game you ever played Then picked up Midnight Suns You're like this is as good as it gets And then Kabob says I said Celebi for the Pokemon Is pronounced like celery Kind of looks like an onion pixie though Huh Yeah Celebi you just hit right there at the end So that's what they want Celebi Yeah I think you hit it with the Calabi Got it thank you Good one there And that's it for your run Some people came in with some stuff about Metacritics and Starfield, but it was all smeared.
