0:23Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Today's gaming news stories include Asha Sharma expects a return to Xbox growth by this time next year. Zelda Ocarina of Time gets an ESRB rating and will Final Fantasy 7 Revelation get a physical disc? We'll have all this and more because this is Kind of Funny Games Daily.

0:44Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yo, what's up? Welcome to Kind of Funny Games Daily for Thursday, July 30th, 2026. I'm your host, Blessing, Adio A. Jr. Joining me is LeCroy Poppy, Tim Moe. one yetis bless it is it's finally starting to dawn on me what is going down tomorrow what is going down tomorrow you friday me andy yeah embarking on halo campaign evolved and it's been a long time coming we've had this idea since the beginning of the year we were thinking about doing this stream but the game came out i haven't had time to play it i didn't play it for review because i was going to be doing this stream so i've kind of put it out of sight out of mind a bit yeah and then last night i had to download it on my playstation to get ready for the stream and i was like i'm gonna boot it up just a little bit and i played half of the first level and it all just starts coming back and where i'm just like dude the halo campaign is one of my favorite games of all time yeah the halo experience the how special the campaign is because you could replay that thing endlessly because it's about the physics and the sandbox and how fun halo can be to just pick up a bunch of random weapons get in a vehicle try something weird seeing a grunt fly across the screen like there's just so much moment to moment fun in halo that like they just don't make it like that anymore unless they remake it here we are right the same thing but just prettier than it's ever been but what i'm so excited about is that experience was always plussed up by sitting there with my best friend curran us going through co-op him trying to do legendary pulling me along I'm not good enough.

2:21We're going to get a repeat of that tomorrow. So it's good. That's the only part that I'm not like crazy about is that we're playing on legendary. But I think I think it's actually going to be the best thing for you because there's something about the co-op legendary where it's like the eternal struggle of failure. And like, no, we got it this time. We got it this time with the camaraderie between each other. Yeah, that's what makes the experience. And on top of that, it being your very first time, I can't wait for you to just get some of the plot beats. because I know you know a lot about it, but like I think that you are primed and ready.

2:53There's never been a better time for blessing to get into the story of Halo Combat and Fall.

2:58Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I think you'd be surprised by how little I know about Halo. And I'm excited for that because I think that you have the right group of people with me, Andy, Mike, and you. You know what I'm saying? Me, Andy, and Mike to kind of like be there for you and like just let you experience it. Like it's not gonna be a Nick Scarpino experience where it's like let's fucking talk over all the cut scenes and stuff. At least that's my vision of it. we'll see but i'm respectful of cut i think that you're gonna actually like get some hype out of this i think so too like halo is is my type of game i imagine i like a first person shooter i like a first person shooter campaign i halo infinite made me a fan of just the gameplay and i know halo campaign evolved way different from halo infinite but like halo infinite has brought me in in a way where i'm like oh no i'm sold that i'm i'm sold all the way in being into this universe yeah and so i just need the campaign to like get me in there i just like i think it's going to be so fun tomorrow because there is nothing quite like legendary co-op halo yeah we've also never had four player co-op for number one number one always only had two so like there's a new level of fun there i've never done legendary never completed it beat a handful of levels uh with current but like that was because of current uh but i also think that the combination of the four of us what a rare combo of people oh yeah right and for a prolonged stream there's gonna be some magic tomorrow everyone tune in for 12 hours i think it's gonna be a very fun time i'm looking forward to it i'm also like you know i'm we're video game nerds here and the kind of nerd that i am when it comes to video games i'm somebody who likes to visit classics and understand why people love these classics oh yeah and so like replaying xenoblade chronicles has been special because i'm like oh i get it now i get why y 'all are so obnoxious about this and i want that for halo as well yeah i want to get it and be like okay that's what the flood is oh that's why y 'all care about cortana oh that's the halo you're gonna get it halo from halo oh i can't you guys are gonna see blessings reactions to what the halo is yeah oh i'm super excited but enough about that let's get into the show remember if you're watching live you can be a part of the show super chat over on youtube.com slash kind of funny games we couldn't do this without our producers over on patreon.com slash kind of funny so thank you to carl jacobs omega buster and delaney the som twining and lax nomad for now let's begin with what is and forever will be the roper report it's time for some news we have six stories today

5:24Blessing Adeoye Jr.:starting with our number one asha sharma says xbox expects to return to growth by this time next year as it reports an annual decline in revenue this is chris scolian at video games chronicle xbox ceo asha sharma says it expects to return to growth by this time next year microsoft posted its financial reports for the last quarter on wednesday stating that while the company as a whole was seeing continued growth with revenue and operating income both up 18 the xbox division was instead seeing reduced revenues according to its q4 fy 2026 results which covered the period from april 1st to june 30th 2026 xbox content and services revenue declined to 10 % compared to the same Q4 results in the previous year.

6:07Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Xbox hardware revenue also declined, according to Microsoft, with a 13 % drop compared to Q4 FY 2025. This has been a recurring situation for Xbox throughout the past financial year. Microsoft's Q3 earnings report showed that Xbox content and services revenue was down 5 % based on the same period last year, and that hardware revenue was down 33 % year-on-year. Its Q2 earnings results also showed year-on-year declines of 5 % and 32 % respectively, while Q1 showed a growth of 1 % in content and services, but 29 % decline in hardware revenue. Posting on X, Sharma stated that while Xbox saw new players trying its services for the first time in the past financial year, that hasn't yet resulted in a notable growth, but that the expectation was that the company would start seeing growth again by the end of FY 2027, which ends June 30th, 2027.

7:02Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Quote,

7:20Blessing Adeoye Jr.:During Microsoft's presentation, CEO Satya Nadella referred to Xbox's decline, stating that the company was in the process of undertaking the reset mentioned by Sharma in the past. Well, when it comes to Xbox, we are making the necessary decisions required across our content portfolio, platform and operations to reset the business for long term growth. And Della said, we have the best IP in the industry and talented studios around the world and believe we can bring these strengths together and expect to return the business to growth in fiscal 2027. End quote. the time frames on these are very interesting to me because here we have the 2026 q4 results that's april 1st to june 30th this year right where they're saying it's 10 down to the same time frame last year yeah this year during that time frame had forza horizon yeah and if they're getting it what they have last year during that time south of midnight that's not good yeah is Is that for hardware?

8:24Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Is that their entire content and services? Their content and services revenue. It's not the hardware. So yeah, if we're talking about the software and we're talking about the bangers coming out during that time, and it's even worse off, I'm not having too much faith looking forward at the same quarter next time they're being like, oh, we're going to have some growth. Because looking at the roadmap that we know at this point, it's like, yeah, we have Gears later this year. I'll throw out Doom was also that time last year. Doom the Dark Age. Okay, okay. yeah then that being that was multi-plat which i think does help for selling software right so jumping ahead to uh by the time we get to next year there were multiple sorry i keep remembering i think there are multiple ports because wasn't forza horizon 5 was that last year this time or that time wasn't it september when was forza horizon i think that was spring and they might it was a last year oblivion sorry it's all just coming to me now oh i mean yeah i I think that was the big time, now that I think about it.

9:18Okay. I mean, that is evidence of just like, the things add up, right? It's the chip damage over time. When did Clear Up Skir come out? That was April, yeah. Do they count Game Pass in this? Yeah, it's content and services. And it was on Game Pass, yeah. Also on Game Pass. I mean, yeah, okay. So then it did actually have a kind of sneaky. Yeah, sneaky good that time period last year. Damn, I can't tell when it actually launched on PS4. I love how my brain immediately went to the south of midnight because that's the one that jumps out at me. And I'm like, no, when you add in all these other things that happen, especially like those ports.

9:52And Game Pass that year, I think, was popping in terms of those sneaky, like really popular games that sweat people up. Can someone in chat help me find out when did Horizon 5 come out on PS5? Because I can only find the Xbox date right now, and I don't want to spend too much time doing this. But anyways, looking ahead of what they have, they do have another kind of, I think, a lot less sneaky at this time. But like, yeah, evidence lineup of we have gears. We have Fable next year. Right before that time. And those are going to sell very well. April 29th. So, yeah, I was so good at this. Yeah, you nailed that.

10:28That was actually that was awesome. Yeah. So, yeah, I guess that does all add up to be the shit out of Forza Horizon. exclusive on xbox and pc yeah um i don't know this is one of those stories where of course it's maybe there's a few numbers here that might be surprising when you bring in that additional context might not be as surprising aside from that i kind of see it as business as usual especially coming off of all the news of xbox and the reset and all that shit i'm i guess i'm most curious about how when they say they're looking for that return right to the revenue growth for this time next year what does that look like what is the plan for that are we talking about being post all of these layoffs and divestments and being you know cutting 3200 people so we're not paying as many people therefore automatically our revenue is going up is that faith in fable and um these other gears and these other games that are coming out i think the first thing you said is more the baseline of it all but i do think that they are talking about a growth in revenue specifically from the content and services right and from the hardware which they very clearly are pushing and do have a plan that they have expressed to make all that happen i also don't think it's necessarily that difficult to rise up from where they're at this year yeah um but not that difficult for xbox has proven to be incredibly difficult the last couple years.

11:54So it is one of those things where I don't look at this and I wouldn't bet money that it happens. I think that it will, but I'm not betting on it. There's just too much turmoil and too much bad decision-making, quite frankly, going on where I think that they are... I personally believe they're making a lot of choices that are still scatterbrained and not consistent with a vision that gets you to back to growth and a sustained growth over the next couple years that's the big thing is i back to growth for next year i actually would be surprised if that wouldn't be the case just based off of weighing off all those people and the content you have lined up it is sustained growth that i'm wondering about can you actually do that and like are you doing that by this time next year you lay off even more people therefore the number continues to go up because you're not paying as many people or are you able to get your content lineup in a place where it is no we have fable and we have you know gears and maybe by this time next year you have campaign evolved 2 or something right and then year after that we start getting some of the bangers as far as in elder scrolls or something crazy like that i mean i i'm not even joking when i say this yeah i think we are back where we've been many times waiting for the dominoes to fall they're just a new set of dominoes and like that it's quite frankly embarrassing i feel like the reality the reality of what i'm saying here it's like all right cool they we now have had the set that we've been looking at for this entire generation kind of ending upwards with fable and gears e-day right and then after that we're now in this point where two three weeks ago we get this um full bethesda future roadmap plan yeah here it is i think we might get that from halo studios i think we might get that from a couple of other ones because they're just in that mode right now of just like hey we have to build faith in this brand.

13:43You have to prove to shareholders. And it's like, cool, then we're just lining up an entire new set of Domino's that we're all just going to kind of look at and be like, alright, is this going to work? Is this going to be the time? And I think that's where it gets a little harder for me to believe in all of this, even though we are talking about them doing in a lot of ways, business-wise, what we've been saying they probably should, which is rely on some of these bigger IPs that they have like a Fallout. Where are the Fallout remakes when the Fallout show's happening? right before the show started we were talking about devil may cry and how insane it is that dmc5 is selling more now than it was when it was when it came out because of the success of the netflix show like there's a synergy there that is uh you need to jump on you need to to be a part of that or else you're really fucking up um and you know we can talk a lot of shit and we have and people have about the last of us being re-released 10 million times but guess what that funds a lot of things that makes a lot of money and that makes number go up in a way that right now with xbox they're just betting on the wrong things and it does really feel like scramble to scramble to

14:49Blessing Adeoye Jr.:scramble 100 uh bringing in some super chads volk dasher says i mean pretty sure game pass does not exist in its current form in 18 months i mean game game pass already doesn't exist in the form that it did six months ago you know call of duty is not coming to game pass which is a big factor in terms of where their um revenue growth is or non-growth is this year versus probably where the revenue growth is going to be next year because you're not having call of duty available on that on that service toasted afk says i think xbox left a ton of money on the table not launching forza 6 on ps5 launch day my sim wheel is on my ps5 so i'm waiting when when does that come to ps5 does it i mean did they know i guess yeah that's the thing we're just in such a stupid place right now where it's just like yeah no it's scramble to scramble to scramble it's like it's i personally for me i don't speak for others it's impossible for me to have faith and believe in this because it to me seems so obvious what they should be doing based on what they have done and what worked and what didn't and everything and they're not doing any of that yeah it feels so like oh you're going down two steps down this path two steps down this path three steps down that path no steps down the path that you really should be going down and i think that that really kind of puts them in a spot that i just look at them like oh man i don't even want to say good luck it's like i i'm hoping for the best but it's like i'm not really believing in in the visions there was a vision i believe a lot more it's the problem of you know you talk about the dominoes and i think everything you say about the dominoes i think is on point i know people get uh annoyed with the domino comparison the problem with the dominoes is have you ever seen one of those tiktok lives where it's somebody I can't think of a good example.

16:28It's somebody that's like set up a complicated Rue Goldberg machine and like it's them about to do it but they never actually press the button. It's just always about to do it because they know people are always tuning in and people are going to stay because they're like alright get the thing started. Alright get the thing in the hole. Alright get the ball in the cup. Like when are you going to actually do the thing? And for Xbox it's they set up the dominoes and then they're like actually and then they reshuffle the dominoes and then you think they're about to knock down the dominoes and they're like no actually and then they reshuffle the dominoes again and we're just watching a live of a company that won't knock down the dominoes, they keep reshuffling the dominoes.

16:57And I think that that is the perfect analogy, but I do think to bring it into the reality of what's actually happening, it's that, but then every once in a while, putting down an amazing domino, knocking one over to the side. It's not knocking the other ones down, but it's like, oh yeah, no, no, there's incredible games here. There is incredible IP, there are incredible teams. Xbox has put out some fantastic content the last couple of years. it's just not being followed up correctly it's not being brand identity correctly it is just being pulled in a bunch of different directions and yeah i i fear bless that we're going to be talking about the dominoes for many more years to come i'm i have such an i have a xbox speculation fatigue you know what i mean we talk about the future of xbox it's like i love talking about the future of video games i love talking about what studios are doing i can't wait for a fallout one day whenever Elder Scrolls 6 comes out I'm hyped for it but yeah when we talk about just the overall organization of Xbox I get such a strong fatigue because one everybody has the most extreme opinion about it right and then also the company does themselves no favors when it comes to yeah how their strategy continues to shift and change and then they lay off everybody and then all this shit happens and like nobody can be normal about Xbox Xbox can't even be normal about Xbox no it's such a i i we have stories like this is news number one because it is a big it's a bigger news story than all of our other news stories it's more concrete and all this stuff and obviously xbox clicks and all this shit but man who do we get here and the more we talk about xbox more i'm like man i just wish we were in a better place with it all absolutely and you know how how much of a bummer is it that this is a story that we're talking about off the heels of how we open the show yeah how i'm glowing about tomorrow i can't wait wait for halo campaign to play halo man like And you don't get more Xbox than that.

18:48And, like, when we talk about the studios that are within Xbox, you know, like, yesterday we talked all about Double Fine. Sadly, there are layoffs. But, like, we talked about how much we love a studio like Double Fine. We brought up Forza in this conversation. Think about how much we love Forza Horizon 6. How much we love Forza Horizon 5. And, like, I'm excited for Gears to come out. Because the same way we were talking about Halo campaign, that's how I feel about Gears as well. Where I want Gears E-Day to be my first Gears and to play through it with people and do all that. like there's so much within the catalog and what the studios are doing that i'm like oh hell yeah i can't wait for this but it's just the way that it's managed all that oh man i just

19:21Blessing Adeoye Jr.:wish it was way better and cleaner and that people were able to keep their jobs and all this shit uh i'm just a billy gives a super chat and says yo tim i've been obsessed with 4k blu-rays and wondering if you have rex i recently picked up and or dark knight trilogy and the prestige and 4k those are great great picks there um if you're just looking for like okay best 4k disc experience it's not necessarily talking about quality of movie ready player one is insane the picture quality and specifically sound quality of the first big race that they do that's always a thing that i demo to show off like the power of dolby atmos or whatever um dune part one and two are reference quality blade runner 2049 um blade runner is a really good reference i think of yeah those those are probably like the you gotta have them oh um kong skull island uh yeah that's that's i think an amazing example of uh the hike everything being put to the most use possible in a home theater setup and honestly all the like godzilla kong movies like spectacle shit Godzilla King of the Monsters, great example.

20:32Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And then I'll read one more Super Chat from Decknor who says... Oh my God, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. Go for it. How did I not say Top Gun Maverick? Oh, yeah. Yeah, Top Gun Maverick is the number one example. Oh, yeah. Decknor says, birthday tax for my son's fifth birthday this weekend. Love the content. Thank you guys for the fantastic conversations daily and the great entertainment. Happy birthday, Decknor's son. Happy birthday. And then... Max Fury Road, another great one. Oh, yeah. And then one more... This is a kind of funny membership, but I'll read it. my profession is in strategy huge factor in decision making revolves around market and competitive intel fascinating to think about what xbox knows unfortunately a lot comes a lot comes from up top two for sure i mean yeah i think that that's the uh unfortunate and fortunate thing about what you just said here is like we're seeing like xbox is straight up telling us like Like, nobody's trying to, like, hide what they know.

21:27Yeah. AI is here. Oh, yeah. Like, that's what they want. They want this world. Yeah. Let's move on to story number two. In happier news, we got the tiniest of new details from Zelda Ocarina. I love the, like, here we go. Let's talk about the goddamn dominoes. Let's talk about the state of everything sucking. And then here's just the smallest little nothing that we can talk about Ocarina of Time. And we're like, we'll take it. At this point, when I structure KFGD, I try to find the moments that can make us smile. Yeah, I love that. I love it, man. Let's smile a little bit.

21:59Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Story number two, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina Time for Switch 2 gets an ESRB rating. I'm reading from Raw Meat Cowboy at Go Nintendo. A legend in this space. Yeah? Raw Meat Cowboy, yeah. The founder and the Go Nintendo, it's Raw Meat Cowboy. And it has been for as long as I've been on the internet. All right. Respect Raw Meat Cowboy. I'm learning because I don't think everyone's familiar. for the raw meat cowboy and i wanted to be like why don't we just go with our names but all hey if you're a legend you get to keep legend if you're a legend you can be raw meat cowboy all you want the legend of zelda ocarina time remake is coming to switch to sometime later this year and nintendo is taking baby steps towards making that happen proof of that comes from today's esrb rating for the game which sits at e10 plus for animated blood and fantasy violence this is the same rating ocarina time got on the 3ds although that version received an e10 plus for animated blood fantasy violence and suggestive themes so what's funny about this is it's a news story that makes us smile and it's like not there's not even a talking point it's not even oh it's t

23:01Imran Khan:oh it's m there's no more suggestive themes yeah that got replaced with fantasy violence oh no no wait no they both have fantasy violence they just straight up drop suggestive suggestive themes have been dropped which fairies are no longer no that's my thing is like or yeah in 2026 have we just been a little bit more sex positive i don't know man i don't know man is he reverted a little bit is esrb looking at them big ass titties and being like you know what let's live esrb is an american organization right yeah i feel like we've reverted i feel like esrb it was an american organization they probably see any sort of any sort of cleavage and they're like rated them yeah i don't know rated a for adults i'm not sure great fairies are in uh like full fur coats you do not see anything um surrounding them and then any sort of allusion to you know uh relations between link and any other character uh completely edited out uh the zora princess they're just really good friends i like the idea of yeah you get to the fairy you see the fairies and they're wearing like like these puffed up jackets you know what i mean like they're dressed like it's December in the Midwest.

24:15God. That's where we're at now. What is Xenoblade Chronicles rated? The definitive edition. I'm curious because... I don't know. You're the expert. Let me tell you. People who made Xenoblade Chronicles... Naughty. Naughty, naughty people. I thought you said Nazi. I thought I heard Nazi as well. No, not Nazi. Not Nazi. Sorry. Naughty. Naughty. Naughty. Not Nazi. Definitely not Nazi. No. Holy shit, everybody.

24:42Blessing Adeoye Jr.:this is insane blade chronicles definitive edition switch to all right esrb all right because let me tell you let me tell you so that is rated okay that's rated t for teen blood mild language partial nudity huh use of alcohol tobacco i'm gonna be real what do we consider partial nudity shirtless shulk okay no you're right yeah all the men do have shirtless variants. Yeah. Yeah. And all the women, they got their titties out. I think we're going to get the titties in this game. And I think that the E10, I think we're going to get the pass. Yeah, I think so. Okay. I think I hate, I hate sometimes we ride ourselves into a corner where it's like, the more I say, I'm just going to say it.

25:35I think all of us are going to be happy with whoa whoa whoa what do you mean happy that's what i'm saying i'm just saying however you want him

25:42Imran Khan:i think we're gonna make the fairies they're gonna make the fairies woke all right just accept it i'm willing to accept any sort of fairies in this game i am willing to accept it i don't have that that's why they don't have too much of an opinion on how the fairies should come off if i'm being honest in terms of like how much they're showing i don't really care i mean i care i don't really care either I was just thinking, taking away suggestive themes, I was like, what could be different with this one? I'm saying, I think they will be happy. And I mean that in a way, they're like, we're going to be okay with it.

26:16I don't think there's any way I'm going to be sad, though. Yeah, I know. Unless they are wearing puffed jackets. Then I'll be like, no, I wouldn't even be sad. That'll be fucking hilarious. That would be really funny. As long as it fits with the aesthetic that they're building here. I don't care what they change it to. If it doesn't fit this, then I'm going to be like, mm-mm, but they're going to. Fair enough. Suggestive themes. Suggestive themes. What if they're talking about the musical themes? You know what I mean? Shut up. Did they have an Ocarina theme in the 3DS version that was more jazzy?

26:46That was kind of sexy. A bit more sexy version. There are a few songs sexier than Gerudo Valley.

26:52Imran Khan:Oh, God. I'm replaying it right now and I got to Gerudo Valley last night and that's where I saved and I was like, oh. Every time this hits, I get a little horny. Whoa. We crossed the line. Oh, that's the crossing of the line. All right. Cross the line. That's the crossing. All right. I don't want to hear about Barrett getting a little horny. Barrett, put it away. All right? Put your cock away, Barrett. We need to fucking spray. I can't watch the Gerudo Valley team is playing, man. Wow. I just really can't. He went there. Golly gee. I thought the Xenoblade developers were naughty. Whoa, Barrett.

27:29Whoa. we're gonna we're gonna chat first are there super chats? we're gonna go super chats I was gonna go to ad but we can't after one

27:37Imran Khan:it's our own ad it's our own ad our sponsor's gonna be pissed our sponsor's gonna be real mad if we go to the ad after that Oscar Navarro says bless if you think Xenoblade 1 is naughty wait until you get to Xenoblade 2 I like really pronouncing the T I like that too yeah yeah I heard Xenoblade 2 gets a bit more naughty I heard it gets a lot more which concerns me because Xenoblade 1 already seems pretty pushing it a little bit already in Xenoblade 1 how much more are you going to push in Xenoblade 2 really? they added physics to it, like dead or alive honestly it's not dead or alive it's partly there man, we gotta figure that stuff out we gotta figure it out

28:25Blessing Adeoye Jr.:does a game being rated give any credence the promise of it coming out this year what do you think yeah oh i'd be shocked if it doesn't come out this year you think we're about to hear about it do you think that's why it gets rated nah we might hear about it i don't think that this has anything to do with that though i feel like they're often just right like i think usually yeah you expect a game to come out that year but yeah i don't think it means i don't think we ever get ratings and then the next day I just convinced myself it's going to come out the week or the week before GTA 6

28:57Imran Khan:it just feels right yeah first week in November is what I'm thinking I don't want that it's for my own time it's going to be 20 hours Ocarina? I feel like that took me 40 hours to play whenever I played it Ocarina is 20 hours long Ocarina is 20 hours I don't believe you Ocarina

29:16Blessing Adeoye Jr.:you're an expert you're a speedrunner Barrett I'm not. Not with Zelda games. How long to beat? I'd go closer to 30. This gives 30 hours for how long to beat. If you're just doing the beat story, it's 26 hours.

29:31Imran Khan:I'm not stupid. I know simple fucking puzzles. I know how to look around for a room for an eye to shoot an arrow at. Shit, man. Okay, but the Water Temple. You know what I mean? I just played the Water Temple last night, and I'm just saying I had a lot of thoughts about it. Yeah. A lot of people I'm just gonna be real again. Maybe the craziest thing I say is a lot of people bitch made when they talk about like how the water temple and how much they complain about it. I'm just being honest. I heard you drink some coffee today. A lot of people are what? He said bitch made. Damn. Whoa. That's so fucking funny.

30:10Especially the 3DS version

30:12Imran Khan:solves the problem. Yeah. I'm playing the N64 version. Oh, wow. Wow. Okay. Wow. Ball from Barrett.

30:20Blessing Adeoye Jr.:damn um miss i'm sorry mr straight fire or mrs rate fire i don't know uh says what's up guys how many games a year do you think you beat outside of games you play for review shows i mean that changes a lot yeah i really think games i play for review shows i mean i feel like because of the nature of our jobs and how we do them i think that any game we beat it's probably getting reviewed we're gonna review it even if it's an old game right or like yeah we'll refer it might not be a full headlined review but like we'll talk about it on everything i think the exception that is going back and playing old games that i've already beat oh i see even then i end up talking about things a lot outside of games that we beat for review i'd say like maybe five or six because i i think of like the random games like last year i played what was what's the game that we all loved like it was like an hour long beautiful story that i don't want to roger and roger like i don't think i did a review for and roger i'm trying to talk about it i think you and greg did no because i played it way after oh no you're right you're right yeah i played that late in the year there's also that game mouthwashing that i played in like january last year i guess i never reviewed dark souls last did i review dark souls we just kept threatening people that you were going to yeah i kept threatening to do it we soft thing i think we did eventually do

31:37Imran Khan:it yeah eventually i think we did wait it was like six months later yeah so there's like games here and there whereas i pick up and i'll play if it's like an hour or two hours or whatever but yeah the vast majority of games that i play i'll probably review interesting question i like

31:52Blessing Adeoye Jr.:that question yeah um and then we'll we'll buffer some more time before our sponsor so they don't get mad about what barrett said earlier um and right bless are you being bitch made today Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Alvaro CN says Eurogamer says NVIDIA GPUs see yet another price hike of up to 30 % as the generative AI hardware crisis worsens. Great. Thanks for that, Alvaro. Thanks for introducing that factoid into our lives. And then AK Dot says tip for Spicy Barrett to put this guy on the desk.

32:28Imran Khan:Nah, they're too scared.

32:29Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Barrett, next time.

32:31Imran Khan:And when I say they, I mean the audience. Next time you're this angry and this horny, we got to put you on the desk. Yeah, you got to be on the desk. What a combo. That's my secret bliss. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm always this angry and this horny. Oh, God.

32:44Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And with that, here's a word from our sponsor.

34:04Blessing Adeoye Jr.:three square enix can't confirm a final fantasy 7 revelation physical disc but at least game director hamaguchi is pushing for one this is sharif saeed at euro gamer the third and final part of the final fantasy 7 remake trilogy final fantasy 7 revelation is set to arrive in spring 2027 you're not mistaken that is about a year before the last day sony will be making physical PlayStation discs. So the game should be okay, right? Well, not quite. Publisher Square Enix has apparently not made a decision whether to ship the game on disc or not, according to new information. Game director Naoki Hamaguchi, however, is pushing for it.

34:40Blessing Adeoye Jr.:The veteran director told GamesRadar Plus at Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival in Berlin that he can't confirm anything on that at the moment. Quote, we're still having internal discussions on what the exact SKU product lineup is going to be for Revelation, he said. So I can't say anything particularly definitive at this point in time, but I am working to make the arrangements to allow us to have some kind of physical addition, end quote. If the retail release of Final Fantasy VII Revelation does end up skipping a physical disc, it certainly won't be the first game to do so. Even before Sony's nearly universally disliked decision to end PlayStation's physical media, Rockstar announced that GTA 6 won't be shipping on a physical disc.

35:23Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Quote, Obviously, say, if you're talking to Nintendo, there's considerations about the storage limits on key cards and things like that, and then other platforms about how much you can put onto a disc, Hamaguchi explained. These are the discussions that we're having at this point in time. I do hope that we'll be able to come up with something that is as close as possible to what players and fans are going to want, but you'll have to look forward to future announcements for that, he added. tim you hate this huh i mean i hate it uh again we're just in this world and it fucking sucks i also don't see a world in which we don't get a physical version of final fantasy 7 revelations i think that what hamaguchi is saying here we can take his word for it he understands the value he understands the desire for this fan base in particular and their obsession with discs final fantasy 7 rebirth was a two disc ps5 game and when they announced that in the trailer they treated that like a reveal yeah when it said two discs and we cheered i think they did the same thing for remake right wasn't remake i think was just one disc i want to say it was two correct me if i'm wrong about that i'm not sure but rebirth was and when it said two discs we lost our minds that is the importance of discs in final fantasy 7 they know that they understand the culture of the final fantasy 7 not unique in this but i do think in a uh category with not many other peers where the voice cast is a very, very, very celebrated group of people that there's an active community of signing the discs.

37:00You know what I mean? There's a different culture around Final Fantasy VII, and Hamaguchi understands that clearly. Hamaguchi, one of the best game directors of our time, and we are very lucky that we had him here at this desk to talk about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. I hope we get him back one day to see how much he interacts with so many other members of the gaming community, but then also delivering quality titles in an amazing timeframe. We've talked about this so much recently with how incredible it is that since the remake project actually started rolling out, that we're getting revelations in spring 2027, and I believe they're going to hit it.

37:35That's crazy, right? They've turned that around so much. So all that to be said, I hate that this is even a concern a year away from the end of ps5 discs but as confident as i am it is not a sure thing yeah because this game coming out multi-platform day and date it being on the switch it being on the xbox a lot more things to consider there and i would not be surprised if it only ends up disc-based in a limited form on playstation 5 see that was going to be my question about what we can look forward to or not look forward to i guess next year when it comes to the triple a games and physical versions do you think you're we're going to see a lot of a lot more triple a studios hold back the discs even in 2027 in anticipation for not even being able to produce them past that i think that they're going to use it as an excuse to not do what they don't need to do yeah in in many cases i don't think all i think that it's a similar thing to what we're seeing with the game key card situation on the switch and i brought this up a couple days ago but cd project red making it a marketing point that cyberpunk is on one cart i think that got them a lot of copies sold and i don't know how long that type of energy is going to exist i do think at a certain point that the novelty will wear out and just the reality will set in of things just aren't like they used to be which sucks um but i'll never forget when alan wake 2 no that's not right alan wake one was it the remake of it there was no disc i was alan wake 2 alan wake 2 yeah

39:16Imran Khan:maybe a remake as well uh but to control that was like a big thing somewhere around there yeah a like xbox backed title that we saw in xbox showcases that they were presenting as like this big deal and it didn't have a physical disc and it was like whoa whoa what i remember back uh with cds when artists like started putting out digitally eps i'm talking about 2008 very different time but i was like there was a lot of projects started coming out that never were released physically period and that's just now kind of the standard for a lot of things i was shocked to hear that like lord's album came out lord no cd really yeah huh and you're like damn that that's crazy that that's where we're at so this has just been happening for a long time and it fucking sucks so welcome to my hell bless i hate it here like i mean to get ahead into we news the they're

40:10Blessing Adeoye Jr.:announcing um or what's your call it what's the name of the site um a i am 8-bit is doing and a shadow colossus and like team eco trilogy vinyl set and when i tell you i pre-ordered immediately you're not gonna get it for three years but yeah i mean that's like i don't know man that physical items mean something to me yeah and like i'm not i'm not somebody who gets a lot of things physical nowadays i'm way more digital for video games than i am for a physical but if it's something that i love if it's a vinyl for a soundtrack like that i think it's special to be able to hold that and have that physical like one of the one of my favorite things when i look at my um bookshelf in my living room is i have an annapurna set of games published on ps4 and it's still wrapped and like i look at that and i'm like i get nostalgia for it because that set has uh games like sirenara wild hearts has outer wilds on there i think donut county might be on there it's like all the antepernal games that came out in that late ps4 era and i just have that as a physical item that i look back at i'm like man what a time so cool so cool like i have life is strange before the storm for xbox that i got at a random what's good games meetup at pax that i still have wrapped and i think about that and i'm like man i love before the storm this is just a cool thing to have so i can like have this as an emblem for how much i love this thing um and i'm sad that we're missing out on that more and more barrett were you keeping an eye on chat i wasn't able to get

41:31Imran Khan:a clear answer for the remake when final fantasy 7 remake came out on ps4 because it came out before the ps5 yeah it came with two discs one was a disc with the 50 gigs of data on it and then a second disc was used for like data loading onto it gotcha yeah all right because it was a it was a bigger slightly bigger game than the ps4 blu-rays could handle because i think red didn't red dead redemption 2 do the same thing i keep creating opportunities for me to be wrong all this to be said all of this to be said i haven't put a single disc in my playstation 5 oh same a single time not a single time i think i put in exactly two discs into my ps5 not even movies i have a 4k blu-ray player you know what if i include movies more times but the two game discs were overwatch for some reason and i don't know why because overwatch 2 is free to play so why was i putting my overwatch disc in my ps5 somebody tell me somebody tell me why was overwatch in my ps5 and then doom 2016 because i own that game on disc and when i was reviewing doom the dark ages i wanted to compare and contrast and so i had to dig out that disc and it was very satisfying putting that in being like what way do i even put this thing in here yeah you know what i mean did you maybe try to test uh if the disc worked after overwatch updated overwatch one maybe overwatch two yeah maybe i was being cheeky and trying to see if i can just play overwatch one or something i don't know let's move on the story yeah yeah and matt sanders saying you're a part of the problem if you're talking about me because i'm not putting this in my ps5 i i i'm willing to bet i own more ps5 games than you do damn i do buy these things i do be buying these things i'm just not putting the discs in call them out tim door number four valve says steam machine

43:23Blessing Adeoye Jr.:reservations will be filled by the end of 2026 this is jacqueline thomas at ign the steam machine has been out for about a month but despite the eye-watering price the console pc hybrid has quite an extensive reservation list and now valve has come out with a blog post saying anyone currently with the reservation list email will be able to buy the steam machine by the end of the year. When the steam machine first came out, Valve put up a page allowing people to reserve the steam machine. Then accounts were chosen at random and either placed on a reservation list or a wait list. It's not clear how many people signed up for the steam machine, but it was apparently enough that it's going to take Valve the rest of the year to fulfill the orders.

43:59Blessing Adeoye Jr.:It doesn't seem like every region has the same level of demand though. Valve said in a blog post that some people might move off of the wait list and onto the reservation list depending on the region. In some regions even valve has fulfilled its reservation list cool nice update for people who have this thing reserved man i am there's so much to be bummed about in the world yeah so certain things definitely not the biggest priority but i'm just so bummed that the steam machine came at the time it did like i just wish that things were better with all the dumb rampocalypse stuff and everything just could be some sense of normal and that steam could have just came out and fucking dominated i just had an entry-level system to get into people's houses that they can just iterate and build on but instead it was just nonsense yeah and it's just like i don't know that there's ever i mean there might be recovering from this but i don't think those there ever will be the moment that was promised the prince that was promised yeah i'm when i i think i or i i did whatever rsvp i'll forget i forget what the word is but i signed up to get a steam machine and as soon as they give me my thing to be able to buy it i'm canceling it like i after seeing what it is and kind of having that reality moment of oh yeah this thing isn't as powerful as i even thought it was going to be like i i don't have the desire to pay the money for this level of of power i'm i'm sad that we didn't i guess i'm sad that we don't live in my own fantasy world of what I wanted out of a home PC thing.

45:36I guess I just got to build it. The sad part is building it is going to never been a worse time. Yeah. I don't know if I had to wait now or if I just had to be like, no, I just never going to get that. I mean, I don't mean to be doom and gloom, but I, my attitude right now is, oh, you fucked up. Yeah. You waited too long. Like the dream is dead. Like I don't, I don't see any point of this stuff getting better. I think that changes are going to have to be made that people aren't going to be happy with. But I really do think that the future is going to be a shift to cloud stuff. If you want an actual way to play the high-quality stuff, that's what it's going to be.

46:11Because this shit's getting priced out. No, Tim.

46:14Imran Khan:No, it couldn't possibly be getting any worse. Worse and worse and worse. And the people controlling it getting worse are going to just push the cloud stuff more and more and more. Oh, because they own it all. Right. And they're going to be paying subscription services for renting hardware. you're complaining about not owning things now oh just you wait you ain't owning shit that's the only option i got if i want to play my pc games in my living room i guess i can play my i can hook up my steam deck to my tv it just looks ugly and look here's the thing y 'all have heard my journey for years about all this stuff and maybe not every detail but one thing that i do want to say is like i had a i saw this happening and i didn't do it fast enough i've been dreaming of building a beast pc for many many years and i've been saving tinkering planning for this and i wish i pulled the trigger two months earlier than i did uh because i got really really fucked on ram thank god i bought it when i did because it got i literally think 10 times worse oh my god than when i i got it like something insane um but i i did get my pc built and it's a big ass tower and I don't want that shit in my console at all.

47:24So, got a big ass HDMI cable and I ran that shit along, bought $25 worth of cable management hiding stuff and no one would ever notice there was a cable. Took me a long time to route that shit myself. That's what I do on my weekends. And this was all pre-SAMI. I can't do another one. I knew I was like, I'm running out of time. There's a goddamn baby on the way. I'm like, this is my last time to get on my fucking knees. Cable manage Whoa Tim I did it for hours Hours y 'all I just can't do another cable That's where I'm at Because I already have An ethernet cable Running across my living room Into my room That's what I'm saying dude Just spend the time To clean it up Spend a little bit of cash Clean that shit up It's It's super sad I need to hire somebody I need to hire

48:09Imran Khan:No learn how to do it yourself You have to do it yourself A cable management It gives me the most If you looked under my desk at home Yeah You would be terrified If you look It looks like eldritch horror If you looked in my home theater Behind my console You would be like Barrett Yeah What horny Angry both a little Angry at how fucking immaculate it is Angry at how far you are Okay Shit's beautiful Baby's bottom shit I just don't know if I have the stuff For cable management It gives me anxiety Expect more from yourself Do you just tie a bow tie around there There's so many things and they're so cheap, dude.

48:50We'll talk offline.

48:52Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I'm going to change your life. Speaking of changing lives, let's change your life with a new trailer for Big Hops, a game that's already out, but they're announcing multiplayer. This is story number five. This comes courtesy of Greg. Greg's been talking a lot about this game, Big Hops, and he's been wanting to put it on a bit more. So he's helped us partner with the developer to help debut the multiplayer announcement for Big Hops together is what they're calling it. Barrett, if you have the trailer, yeah, let's live react to it. Me and Tim haven't seen this trailer.

49:32Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Awesome. Nice. There's a multiplayer mode for a 3D platformer, Big Hops, playing as a frog.

49:56That's cool. We're going to all get together. I'm getting some Mario 3D World. Mario 3D World with a little Yoshi's Island with that tongue action. Yeah. But also kind of like peak a little bit when you're climbing things and you're working together and picking each other up.

50:18Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Also, music gives me some old school Rare vibes a little bit too. Big Hops Together. Out August 9th. Sick. All right. That's really cool. I got some details for you here. From Chris Wade, director at Lux Shot Games. Big Hops Together reworks the full 14-hour adventure of Big Hops to work with full eight-player co-op. Owners of Big Hops on Steam can play the beta for free now, but full release on Steam is coming August 9th. New features include pick up and throw other players, tongue swing from players while they climb or tongue swing. Wait, I can tongue swing while they tongue swing?

50:54Imran Khan:Yeah, dude.

50:55Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's crazy. Explore on your own and warp to other players at any time. steal items from each other's hands and backpacks, and then make shared progress through the full adventure. Buy the game, and you can opt into the beta through properties slash game versions and betas on Steam. We're actually going to be streaming this for the stream today. Okay. I believe it's today. Cool. And so that's going to be a very fun time. Tim, does this excite you? I mean, it looks pretty cool. Yeah, Greg's been obsessed with Big Ops. He was like, oh, dude, it's like Mario Odyssey. And I'm like, that is very, very high praise.

51:29Yeah.

51:30Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And I see the hints of it here. yeah i see like i i remember when this was originally coming out and people were comparing it a lot to like the n64 um platformers i think people even talked about like zelda when it when it came to puzzles and like kind of dungeon-y design and stuff and so i'm excited to check it

51:46Imran Khan:out it's really cool to see like you know this like curated single player 3d platformer get a kind of french slot coat of paint on top of it and i do wonder if like if other devs look at this of like you know maybe being pushed to step up their game a little bit in terms of game design

52:04Blessing Adeoye Jr.:a way to put a shot in the arm for a game that came out i believe earlier this year yes but is looking for additional people to come in and get excited and another reason to hop into big hops very cool um tim the hops are pretty big here oh we be hopping the hops are so big but if i wanted something smaller say the tiniest news i need to know about where would i go go to our last story the we news channel where we cover all the small news items you need to know about story number six is we news bethesda has updated their logo this comes from bethesda on twitter they say 40 years of adventures here's to the worlds we've built together and those still to come we're marking the occasion with a logo inspired by our roots i like it i mean it's fucking hot yeah it's sleek Like, I'm trying to, I don't know, I guess Bethesda's classic history, you know?

52:56Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I'm wondering when they say inspired by our roots, wait, what is the ethos of this design? Bear, can you go down to what Metsman is saying? The version of the logo fits so well with these forgotten classics. Skynet and Future Shock. Future Shock. Future Shock is such a fucking PC game from the 90s. and Skynet. I mean, Skynet, yeah. Hell yeah. Looks cool. Looks really cool. Rideshare Stimulator has been announced for Xbox, PS5, and PC. Barrett, play this trailer with sound. I want Tim to watch it alongside with me. All right. The streets of your own for a crazy taxi. What if I showed you Rideshare Stimulator?

53:42Stimulator. Stimulator. Hit play.

53:48Imran Khan:Get off your ass, they said. Drive rideshare, meet some normal people. Make haste, Coachman. We must reach the medieval feast before the moons align. All right, one weirdo. I'm not banned from all aquariums. Just that one. You remind me of my grandson. He failed at everything, too. That's stimulating. I'm not saying birds control the traffic lights. Birds? That's what I'm I'm not saying. After a while, it starts to click. Keep your ride fresh. Keep it clean. Keep it running. And don't take your passengers too seriously. And when I think I've met the randiest of passengers, someone even stranger gets in.

54:37Imran Khan:I need a garden hose, two energy drinks, and a sympathy card. And fast. I can do that. I'm so buggy. take a ride in my chariot and i will take you to the castle sweet rides and stimulating conversation

55:00i haven't been this stumped on how to feel in a long time i'm so into it it reminds me it has like gold simulator energy a little bit i mean yeah it looks i mean it looks not great but it looks real good yeah it looks not great but it looks real good but it has this element of like i hate this era we're in of like is this ai you know what i mean sure you always kind of start from this like is this ai and i hate that oh really if it's not that's upsetting because i'm being insulting to creative people you know but there is just that level about the voice acting where i'm like ah that's interesting because i don't get ai vibes i get like like uh what do they call it um like default asset vibes yeah we downloaded unreal or whatever

55:50Imran Khan:usually not much it's mainly the voice acting oh sure sure sure because yeah it looks visually it looks janky right it looks like a ps3 game but in terms of like the humor and the energy and the kind of game that it is i'm like i want to try it out it's kind of cool this has potential yeah yeah and like i don't the weird thing is let's watch the gameplay they don't really give much of a this is what it is like i kind of would hope that it's like a crazy taxi but it doesn't look fast-paced like a crazy taxi is no and so are you just driving people around and they're telling you fucking the story getting their stories stories we're hearing aren't the funniest things in the world but they're kind of funny they have yeah they have like a certain energy to them where I'm like, I want to hear more.

56:32Yeah. I mean, but that looked like Crazy Taxi for a second. I mean, it looked. Where the ground lit up green. Someone said it looks like GTA 4. And I'm like, you know what? It kind of does look like GTA 4 a little bit. There was a second where you're pulling up and there was like a green thing in the ground. And that looked like Crazy Taxi. Like that right there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. For sure. Yeah. This one, again, I feel a little torn about. But it does look interesting.

56:55Blessing Adeoye Jr.:It looks interesting. More weedies for you. I kind of talked about this already, but we'll bring it up again. From RPG site, Sony and IM8Bit have announced a new Shadow of the Colossus vinyl release and a Team Eco Trilogy soundtrack bundle featuring it and Eco on vinyl for the very first time alongside the Last Guardian soundtracks. I love that Eco art, the reversible art from the PS2 game, man. It's so good. The bundle's priced at... Sorry, the Shadow of the Colossus vinyl's priced at$43. The bundle's priced at$120. And I have pre-ordered the bundle because I'm a very big Team Eco fan. And these are some of the greatest video game soundtracks of all time.

57:35Blessing Adeoye Jr.:And the art of the vinyls are beautiful, too. And I love that this is happening. So cool. I keep thinking as if I have not just unlimited time, if I have any time. I just want to replay Shadow of the Colossus. Oh, you can. It's been too long. You can. It's such a quick playthrough also. You're going to beat it in like six hours. Yeah. Yeah. It's worth it. Do it. There's new games to play. Any excuse to replay Shadow Cloth? No, I get it. Just fucking do it. I want someone. Maybe we got to get Mike to do it. He'll do it.

58:05Imran Khan:Yeah. I know that's one that he's been thinking about. Right now he's in the Celeste hole. Yeah. Yeah. Which I'm so proud of him. Yeah. I can't believe. None of us thought he'd get that far. The funny thing is, I wouldn't have pegged Celeste as a Mike game. No. But at this point, Mike games don't exist. Any game's a Mike game. 100%. And whatever he's playing is the best thing he's ever played in that moment. I love how he'll call himself a ball and gun gamer. And I'm like, you're the furthest thing. You like ball and gun games, sure. But I think all of us, to some extent, like ball and gun games.

58:34Yeah. You have such a vastness to you. Yeah. You play anything. Yep. You played Fire Emblem. I know and loved it. Yeah. I'm so proud of that, boy.

58:45Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Action RPG Stupid Never Dies launches on October 21st for PS5 and PC. And it's to be co-published by Sega. Dumballweed Park 2 has been announced coming 2028. It's hella random, but good for y 'all. And then Luminesce Remastered is now available on mobile. And then we have one more tweet here. Oh, I just put this here because I saw it during the ad break. Can we watch this with audio? Oh, is this a new trailer for Spyro? It's just a marketing thing, but it's fun. Most anticipated game announcement of the summer. Over 16.6 million trailer views, and then it disappears. Bear's figuring something out.

59:24Blessing Adeoye Jr.:I don't know what Bear's figuring out. probably had to turn on the sound maybe it was over the maybe it's the wee news noise mixing in with the trailer noise and he has to like figure those things out oh we got sound 16.6 million

59:41Imran Khan:is there any way to cut us from the image oh new villain new villain i'm waiting 18 years Spyro. Oh hell yeah. Spyro! What does he look like? OH MY GOD! Spyro, I'm gonna be Spyro. YES! YES! OH MY GOD! Let's get the kids playing Spyro again, you know? Yeah. This is awesome. Come on. Spyro, A Realm Beyond! Okay, gameplay, f*** yeah. Oh! Oh my god! Oh my god! Whoa. Oh, it's like Oakland World. Oh, that's beautiful. Hell yeah. Spyro. Spyro. I love that one clip of you. I don't even remember you doing that. I love it, though. That's amazing. Always fun. Hell yeah. I can't wait for Spyro. I've been, after our interview, I was just in the mood.

1:00:36So I downloaded Reignited Trilogy for my flight to New York. And I was like, I'm just going to pop in here. And I just played for like three hours. And I was like, damn, dude. dude you know a backlog i'll call it a backlog darling that i have a game that i haven't played but it's like i have to play this is crash 4 it's about time i know i didn't even i didn't even download that game i've not touched that game i i really think that that's gonna be one of those weekend games for you where you're gonna come back on a monday and be like tim and barrett

1:01:03Imran Khan:yeah we're right and this game was the best crash bandicoot game because right now when i'm looking at my outside of like new games coming out my uh i guess trajectory of games i want to play Deltarune like just catching up to Deltarune is on the list um at some point probably not any point soon Prince of Birds of the Lost Crown oh my god oh my god I started it I just never got that far in it be still my heart but like that's a game I just really want to play because anybody I hear who's played through that game is like yo this shit's amazing one of the best oh my god I'm so happy for you yeah I wish I was you and then I got I got Dench Attack you gotta put Dench Attack higher that's the one I've been waiting for And here's my problem.

1:01:45I know it's not you. It's me. We've now crossed the point that I need to stop telling you to play Dench Attack. But it's not even you. I think it's me. I really think it's me. I think every time I say it, it makes you want to play it just a little less.

1:01:57Imran Khan:I got to just let it happen. Because what I told Bless was like, if you don't want to force it now, totally fine. Let it be that last thing you play over winter break before you vote for game of the year. Here's my thing. I like where your head's at. Next week, I'm traveling for a little bit. That's the perfect time. I know, because that's going to be that short burst. I can just knock out a level here and there between going back to the hotel or being on a flight or something. So the other thing, though, is that I also plan to play Deltarune during that time. So maybe that's the back and forth.

1:02:27Yeah. Do it back and forth. Play a little bit Deltarune. Up over to Dents attack. I have no concerns that the moment you give an hour further than you've already gotten in Dents attack, you're in. Oh, yeah. You'll be in. Tim, did you beat it?

1:02:41Imran Khan:I'm on the last world. It's on Switch, right? It's everywhere. Okay, I need to get on Switch. Did that one moment make you shit yourself? Let's talk after. Yeah.

1:02:51Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Okay, I need to figure out how to get on. I'm fucking loving it, though. Oh, that's it for Wii News, by the way. I just let that thing run. Let's do a couple Super Chats, then we'll get out of here. CJ Splitson says, is the hype for Wolverine muted or just me? I feel like we talk about this too much. Yeah, we've been talking about it a lot. I will say that after watching Spider-Man brand new day, the like good vibes about superheroes being back and then how amazing X-Men 97 has been, including last night's episode. Holy freak. Oh, I need to catch up. Dude. It's so good. It's so fucking good that I've been getting a lot more hype for Wolverine.

1:03:30Like, and we've talked about this a lot. Like it's insomniac. It's Marvel. I can't, it's Wolverine. Like I can't wait for this, but like it isn't spider-man and like real talk after watching brand new day if a new insomniac spider-man was coming out this year oh yeah oh my god that'd be what i'd need right now um but no i'm i'm very i'm i'm hyped i'm ready for just more mutant universe stuff because x-men 97 is delivering i was thinking about this this morning uh i obviously there's a lot of differences between it because of movie and tv and whatever but i am getting the points of being equally impressed with x-men 97 for existing the same way i am about the into the spider-verse series where i'm just like this shouldn't be allowed to be this good yeah why is it so much better than everything else around it that's like it and i'm when it comes to wolverine i'm i think the hype will come in the week of or the week like weeks before maybe when the reviews come out because i've been very impressed with what i've been saying from marvel tokon tokon you guys have me on this marvel tokon um where i go online and this is after the beta so different energy now but i'm seeing so many people post about like their hype for marvel tokon post beta and now that we're a week out from it or yeah we got from it um i think the same thing's gonna happen to wolverine i know there's not a beta for it but i think once we get there i think that'll i think

1:04:59Blessing Adeoye Jr.:it'll happen um rhino hey says birthday tax going to see spider-man tonight for my 33rd birthday happy birthday happy birthday and have fun i'm very jealous i want to watch it again so bad but

1:05:12Imran Khan:i have to wait till monday i'm going on sunday for the first time so google monster truck says tim check out demon tides if you haven't yet please demon tides that that is the same developer as Bubsy4D, which also came out. Demon Tides, way better received than Bubsy4D. Of course, I spent a lot of time playing Bubsy4D and not Demon Tides, but Roger played a little bit. He really liked it. It's people who really love that 3D platformer in the same vein of a lot of Mario games have been really digging it. Cool. I've been meaning to pick it up, but there's too many games.

1:05:49Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Hand Height says, Tim, what 4K Blu-ray player do you have? man i have the second fanciest panasonic ub 820 i think it's called um so many people have been asking me in the last month if i recommend buying that no there's never been a worse time to invest in 4k blu-rays but y 'all had your time yeah i needed i needed the army years ago we've lost the fucking war we lost if you want to watch blu-rays watch them on your playstation 5 while you can i see you know it's just like no like they're gonna stop making blu-ray 4k blu-rays it's not worth spending hundreds of dollars for a proprietary single use thing for the worst time to buy 4k blu-rays because they're now 40 50 each to find them you are struggling because you can't just go to a best buy you order it from amazon it shows up fucking crumpled does it have the slip case maybe is it ripped is the fucking jizz all over it who the hell knows is the disc broken what disc is the disc fucking inside like broken out of the thing like we're so fucked man man i'm so mad about this we used to be a country jizz on the blu-ray disc like we got the internet now we don't have to do that anymore we don't need to do it we don't need to do that anymore guys

1:07:07Imran Khan:when we love physical media that much bless there's only one way to express it i get it

1:07:14Blessing Adeoye Jr.:mobax he writes in and says fantastic job tim roger and barrett on the dench attack review i completely agree with everything said my new game of the year and a 10 out of 10 get well soon tim um thank you so much you got to get out of here but there's a couple more super chats i'll do one more i'll do one more i'll do one more hxc jedi says tim imagine what if we get an advent children game trilogy next i'm so interested in what happens after revelation yeah i don't think it's the end of the Final Fantasy 7 universe. And you know what? And I hope it's not. I hope they book this forever. I don't know that we needed Advent Children turned into a game.

1:07:51We don't need that. It could be part of a game. Sure. But I'd rather see something different there. There's a lot that they can do. I really wonder where Final Fantasy 17 is. What the deal is with that. I wonder if it's even being worked on. Probably is.

1:08:09Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah. but i don't know tim let's hop over to kind of funny.com slash you're wrong rewrite it and let us know what we got wrong as we got it wrong so we can correct it later for those watching on youtube and podcast services i got there um kebabs wrote in with a you're wrong but then loyal freak wrote and says don't read kebabs version read mine so i'm gonna read loyal freaks forza horizon 6 was announced for ps5 and it's on their website and this is what i'll say to y 'all we know what tim is saying is that he'll believe it when he sees it because xbox is wishy-washy So that's more so the wish than they wash.

1:08:43Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Yeah.

1:08:47Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Mistwee news from kebabs. Argonaut software has announced a remaster of Croc two with the new subtitle kingdom of the gobos gobos. Gobos. Good token. Unfortunately, the news is buried by their other announcement. A re-release of Buck Bumble on a reproduction NC4 card. Oh, fuck. Yeah, dude. Buck bubble sucked. It's being done. Yo, give me box art though. Give me Rocket Robot on wheels. I'm so into bees, man. Bees are cool. I didn't know you were a bee guy. Yeah, I'm just very fascinated by the fact that the bumblebee looks the way it does, and then, like, a wasp looks the way it does. How are these things related?

1:09:25It's insane. I don't know what you're saying. A bumblebee is all like, I'm a fat little fluffy dude. Yeah. And then a fucking... A wasp looks like a murder machine. A weapon. Yeah, it looks like it was developed by the government. It's like a Digimon evolution. Yeah. You know? Oh, 100%. It doesn't make any sense. It's always fascinated me.

1:09:40Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Now I understand what you mean. And that is it for You're Wrong. Can I tell you how much I just hate wasps? Just as a concept.

1:09:49Imran Khan:Yeah, they fucking suck. They terrify me. Wasps are right there with spiders. And they put their nests in the ground. If you accidentally step on them, they all come out and start biting you. They're masters of the land and air. It's fucked up. I like it. Dude, they have built in. Their face looks like it has armor. And they bite. they're sick as hell their color scheme's dope and you know what fucked it up even more for me is dk64 because in that game in the first level they got these flying wasp enemies and they'd be buzzing and you gotta aim your coconut gun at them and you're missing most of the times

1:10:22Blessing Adeoye Jr.:but if you shoot yeah it's gonna hurt yeah these guys fuck yeah dude they're so sick this set me

1:10:28Imran Khan:up a little doofy looking what you thought you're gonna be able to kill wasps in the real world with coconut guns no it's just like i don't know i just didn't like looking at these guys and what i just don't like what it's the same like it might as well be the elder ring hands i just don't like these guys they do something to me like my spirit doesn't sit right can you google yellow jackets the show no the like beings ah

1:10:58look at that no that's so cool there's nothing cooler than that the only thing debatably cooler than that is a scorpion i mean here's the thing as i agree with you they're so cool that they scare me though like no no i get it they just look like a weapon my first injury in my life was when i was like a year old and my dad was pushing me in one of those dumb ass little baby swings where you put them in you know what i mean they were just coming which i'm so familiar with fucking savvy it's like sit up straight but I got stung on the eyelid by one of those

1:11:30Blessing Adeoye Jr.:things and it was horrible and my freaking eye got all big you know what I fuck with Beedrill though because Beedrill's sick as fuck yeah they turn Beedrill from just a weapon to a cool dude also

1:11:42Imran Khan:he's even more of a weapon because his stingers are his hands I would grab a drink with Beedrill yeah dude he's been through some shit he has stories to tell

1:11:49Blessing Adeoye Jr.:Beedrill's cool as fuck dude that's it for this episode of Kinda Funny Games Daily Of course, if you love what we do, support us with a kind of funny membership on Patreon or YouTube to get all of our shows ad free and get a daily exclusive show.
