In short

Kings of Anglia flagship podcast reviews Ipswich Town’s 3-2 away win at Selhurst Park vs Crystal Palace, focusing on Zion Fleming’s late winner, the team’s resilience after setbacks, and tactical/individual performances.

Guests

AJ (co-host; attends matches; discusses player performances and squad decisions) and Alex Jones (called “AJ” in transcript; speaks with Gary O’Neill and provides analysis).

Key claims

Ipswich are a “very different team” to two years ago—less likely to throw away leads—showing game management and resilience. Gary O’Neill says winning away is tough, the side responded to setbacks, and they learned while still taking three points. Notable negatives: Ipswich concede via stretched left-side defending (threat from Kalayli), sloppy turnovers/shape issues, and goalkeeper Christian Walton/Sherpen debate (balanced view: some risky distribution and errors, but also key saves; not blamed for goals). Notable positives: Emerson (Brazilian) scores again and is adapting quickly; Leif Davis thrives in O’Neill’s system (goals/creative threat, though defensive recovery needs work); Florentino Luiz calms midfield after Palace’s momentum. Examples: comparisons to Liverpool goal/structure; Emerson’s header power vs offside trap; Davis’s role in both goals; Fleming’s “awkward” finish after Davis’s header/crossbar moment; subs’ impact (Florentino Luiz, Maida, Wattara).

0:24Ross Halls:Hello everybody, it's me Roscoe and welcome to the latest Kings of Anglia flagship podcast sponsored by Meliklia UK and it's just me and AJ today as we're going to break down a town win in the Premier League, the second top flight win of the season for Gary O 'Neill's side, the first away win of the season Alex Jones my friend how are you we were both at Selhurst Park on Saturday to see that dramatic late goal for your boy Zion Fleming how did you celebrate that my friend I didn't massively to be honest and I'll tell you why which is funny actually because Zion Fleming actually didn't really celebrate it that much in the moment but the reason I didn't was because Stu wasn't there.

1:11Maybe Stu shouldn't come to these, actually, because he missed the games, missed the podcast. We're talking about wins, so maybe he's the bad omen. But yes, that means that I was doing the verdict. I was doing the live blog. I was doing the player ratings. I had to go down and talk to Gary O 'Neill afterwards. So there was a lot of things for me to do. And having just about written about how frustrating it was to throw away the win and end up with a point at Selhurst Park, Zian Fleming flicks the ball into the back of the net, and I've got at least three points from my verdict that I needed to rewrite with not a lot of time to do it.

1:45So hopefully it read okay. This is the life of a journalist. At least it wasn't a late deadline. And as annoying as it probably felt in that moment, God, am I happy that it happened. And yeah, you can kind of celebrate in hindsight almost.

2:00Ross Halls:Definitely, my friend. Yeah, that changed my point of view as well. I need to make sure I've got a picture for you in the system because, yeah, I get to about the 80th minute and when I feel like, oh, the game's 2-2, I just try to find a deflation photo or just a frustration photo. But yeah, your boy, Zion, got the goal. And yeah, he was very calm in the celebrations. He did his like trademark sort of muscle celebration. Obviously, Julio Nciso celebrated like crazy as he would do at the South America. And there's a few people pointing out about Dyson Maida not celebrating that much. But from what I saw, he's not a big, I think just with Japanese culture and stuff.

2:35Ross Halls:He's very quiet, isn't he? Yeah, very much so. Quite a quiet, calm, humble personality, I think. Definitely. But, yeah, it's going to be a great podcast to discuss a town win, the second of the season, six points from 12, and matching the last Premier League season total already. Of course, it took us until December to get the second Premier League win, last time in the top flight. Yes, Stu is off today. Hefe is in Italy. so it is the Young Guns just about to discuss the 3-2 win AJ how would you just reflect on it as a whole it was a bit of a rollercoaster game it ebbed and flowed different moments good things bad things but overall Town got a 3-2 win and Chris the Palace your thoughts?

3:22Yeah really good and really important and doing what they didn't do two years ago which was having the games where they really should have won and they had everything going in their favour and how many times in that last season did we see them throw it away from winning positions from positive positions from good performances how many times did we see a really good display and it ended in a 1-1 or a 2-2 and they conceded sloppy goals and just weren't able to take that chance how many times was it an individual error or something like that and they just lacked that last bit to get it over the line and this is another indication that this is a very different team to that one of two years ago So obviously in terms of the quality, the player quality is different, but just in terms of how they approach games, I think feels very, very different.

4:09And there's different parts to that. This wasn't polished, streamlined up to Switch Town. It wasn't an amazing performance. We're not going to be sat here and waxing lyrical about everything from start to finish, front to back, but still a lot of really good things. And ultimately, it's that when you win those games, that even when you look at the performances and you say, it wasn't amazing, it wasn't great but we got over the line, those are the kind of games, the kind of results that seem to mean so much when, and we know that is going to be the case for Ipswich, when you're scrapping down there towards the bottom of the table trying to ensure that you're staying in this division

4:46Ross Halls:Yeah, especially getting a way win in the Premier League is very tough and to do that from coming from behind a plan against a 10-men side which you know, I think sometimes can be harder actually especially if they're the home team and they're really sort of battling. But we're going to hear from Gary O 'Neill first of all. AJ, you spoke to him. I'm in a switch roles. Normally it is Stu sort of leading that. But as you're alone chatting with him, let's hear what he had to say on the 3-2 win. Gary O 'Neill, over to you, my friend. Dramatic win today. What do you make of that one? Pleased. Winning away in the Premier League is tough against the teams playing in Europe this season, won in Europe last season.

5:23So really pleased to have two wins on the board after four matches. is a big plus for us. Very pleased with the group, what they gave. Lots of emotion, lots of having to respond to setbacks, respond to positives. And it wasn't perfect, of course, it wasn't perfect, but we won, we found a way to win. We deserve to win as well, which is important. And yeah, we happily take three points and send the fans back up the A12 happy. Being able to come from behind as well, Was that something the team struggled with the last Premier League season? Being able to do that and show the resilience must be really good for you.

6:01Yeah, it is. I think obviously I'd rather not. I thought we started the game OK. A couple of nervy bits from individuals, some sloppy turnovers. But structure-wise, the game looked as we expected. So it gave us the players' confidence from that, that everything was where it was supposed to be. And then we can see the goal not too dissimilar to the Liverpool one, where we get a bit out of shape. but then we score a fantastic equaliser, excellent goal. If you think of all the joy we had against Liverpool, getting Leif Davies in behind, similar today, but today he managed to produce a top-quality cross.

6:38So we're a threat. I think it's difficult to defend and to keep clean sheets in the Premier League and to try and hang on 0-0 and nick a goal. I think it's tough nowadays with the quality that the league has, the amount of time that the ball's in play with all the changes that the referees and the lawmakers have made to the balls in play much more than it is. You have to be able to attack and you have to be a threat. And I like my teams playing that way. Sometimes it means it's 3-2 instead of 1-0, or as you saw, 5-2 at United. But we do look a threat, and that does still give us a chance. Even if we concede one, you know there's a goal in us.

7:17And even at the end, once it goes 2-2, the lads just jumped straight back on, took the ball from kickoff, started probing again. So please, it takes a lot to win away in the Premier League. So saw lots of good signs and also learned a lot. I think we have a lot that we need to get better at. And normally you have to take a defeat to learn that much. And I feel like we managed to learn a lot today while we still managed to take three points, which is a big positive for us.

7:43Ross Halls:Indeed, AJ. And there's a lot of positives to discuss on today's podcast. But we are going to start with some of the negatives, just get them out of the way. I know there's a few Coway listeners who were a little bit frustrated with you and Heathie on the last podcast of the Liverpool game because there was a few negative chats and stuff, but we had just lost 2-0 against Liverpool and there was a few things that were a little bit annoying and frustrating. In this one, there was moments as well, wasn't there, AJ? Let's get those negatives out of the way. The goal was conceded. Maybe a period when we played against 10 men and we were struggling.

8:16Ross Halls:What do you want to talk about that you didn't like in the Palace win. Yeah, let me just stress as well, there's plenty of good stuff. If you're here for the positivity, you're riding the positivity train from the weekend, we're going to get on to all of that. We're going to try and just kind of banish the demons, get them out of the way, get all the negative vibes out now. And we can't see this, as I said, as like a perfect performance, as great from start to finish. Ipswich go behind. And I didn't think they started the game that well. I think that it was quite a cagey start, but Palace were the first team to grow into it.

8:46and you can see from the way that Ipswich are approaching it and O 'Neill references it there, kind of a few sloppy phases getting dragged out of position more and more, which is what we saw at times in that Liverpool game was I think players really getting drawn out of position. That's something that they need to try and keep that solid shape from midfield and defence in particular, but also when the attacking players are into a more defensive position. And the thing that probably stood out to me was that it just felt very kind of, everything felt very heavy. All the passes were heavy, all the touches were heavy.

9:20And it probably took for Ipswich falling behind to then change things. And the goal they concede is a classic example of getting stretched, basically. It's one pass over to Kalayli, who Ipswich needed to be very aware of. We spoke about how big a threat he was going into this game, having watched him so far in the Premier League. and if we were speaking about it going into this game, you best believe that Gary O 'Neill and his staff were talking to the players about him. But they didn't stay switched on enough with that crossover to him. He picks up the ball. At that point, the left side of the defence is just too far over to the right.

10:00So they're rushing over, but he's got the space. He's got the pace to do it. And he just gets into the box and opens that little gap. By the time he's taking the shot, Leif Davis is crashing in, but he's too late there. Takes it really well. Nothing on Sherpin for me with a back line. Yeah, didn't cover themselves in glory on that left side. And the other bit you mentioned that's interesting was kind of the response to the second half when they're playing against 10 men. I actually really liked that. I'm going to talk about it a little bit more when we touch on the positives, actually, how they handled the majority of that second half.

10:36But there was a five-minute period where as soon as Palace started to create chances, and get used to the shape that they were in, that the crowd got behind Palace, really for the first time in the game. It was quite a quiet atmosphere for the parts where Ipswich are on top all had the man advantage. And just that bit there, a five-minute period where the crowd got behind them. You hear this roar. You have it quite often where they have a chance and it's wide or it's saved or something like that. And it just felt like the noise and the pressure got to Ipswich, and they were thinking, hang on, we've got 20 minutes left to play here.

11:09We're getting to the end. Palace know they've got nothing to lose. They might as well throw everyone forward and try and get something from this because if they lose, they lose. They're down to 10 men. And they did get bodies forward. And the second goal, the equaliser that Palace scored was really poor from an Ipswich perspective. And again, it's another example of players getting drawn in. Palacios, really good for a lot of this game, but I think he needed to stay in that shape a little bit more. He kind of gets taken out. Again, it's the left side. Not really sure where Davis was at this point.

11:40um you see those kind of tracking back aren't quite in position uh you look at where greaves gets pulled out uh and then it just opens that gap again it's the same little ball forward it's kamada uh and he sends it through to strand last and who um yeah did it's a deal not his finest moment uh he's a big boy it's a deal and you need to be able to use your strength and he just didn't get anywhere near strand last and another fine finish another one where it's nothing on sherpen for me. And those are the main frustrations and there are other bits there. I think maybe Sherpin is another kind of debate that we can have again.

12:17Feels like a weekly thing at the moment where there were some good things and we can touch on them, but also a couple of times where he almost gifted Palace probably two goals in this one, one with a pass out and one with a parry that I think it was Kalayli flashed over. So those are things that better teams and teams with 11 men will punish Ipswich for 100%. I can't see them doing the same at Everton, for example, or we saw the same with Liverpool, or the mistakes getting punished against Man United, things like that. But ultimately, they had it in them to get it over the line. That's the most important thing.

12:54And it's very good, as Gary O 'Neill said, that they can learn all of these lessons that they have done from this game. And everything I've just mentioned in my last five-minute monologue, Gravelonger been going on for off the back of a win that is pretty unique

13:08Ross Halls:yeah I've just gone for a little nap there AJ thank you very much sorry that's fine great great chat and yeah I just want to pick up a few things Issa Diop I thought was having such a great game until that moment and I was like I was just loving it I was just watching him throughout that game and it's like he's a Rolls Royce of a defender and then he does that Sherpen I feel so sorry for him honestly I know people People love to jump on a bandwagon or find a scapegoat. And unfortunately, he is the New Itchers Town scapegoat this season so far. His kicking wasn't great, I have to admit. But there was moments I thought he did okay in this one as well.

13:47Ross Halls:But I think at the moment, he is the go-to scapegoat. And I think it's a shame that there is going to be that discussion, that debate. You know, Christian Walton does well against Arsenal. We'll go and he'll look towards maybe starting him. But, yeah, I know you did a little piece in your verdict on assessing his game as a whole. How are you feeling about him at the moment?

14:12Jury's out still. I mean, look, he made a couple of saves where if they go in, you could definitely make a case for Arsenal. Arsenal? Just mentioned Arsenal. For Palace winning the game. There were definitely a couple there where he did quite well to get to them. And I just think that he's a bit of a weird goalkeeper, isn't he? Maybe there's something with goalkeepers, but there were risks taken there that didn't feel like they needed to be taken. There were moments where it felt like there was a simple thing to do and maybe he didn't do it. I mean, the one where the ball gets bowled out to Lukic, he almost has to do it as like a dummy shot.

14:50He goes to take the kick one way and then he ends up playing it short and rolling it towards Lukic. and at that point you think just get it long if you're going to go long don't try and dupe the palace players because you're probably going to confuse your own players as well and that's why that happened and why Lukic wasn't able to get to the ball and it was good anticipation from Wharton albeit a really terrible attempt at a finish that was an awful mess and then gifted Kalayli and another one that he should have again done much better with flashes the ball way over the bar. And better players will punish Ipswich for those.

15:30And if that had happened, then you're talking about another defeat where you're blaming the goalkeeper and you're talking again about, well, we had the Liverpool situation and we've now had this. Then it might be a bit of a different conversation to be made. But he's not a fault for either of the goals. He did some good bits with his distribution. I agree, things like the kicking were really poor in this game. But there were also good bits in terms of getting Ipswich up the pitch quickly, some important saves. And that's why I'm kind of balanced. That's why the jury's out. I need to see more of him.

16:01He's not going to get dropped for Everton. I just cannot see it, regardless of what Walton does tomorrow night. But I'm kind of neither one way nor the other at the moment. I need to see more from him. But I'm not going to suddenly jump on the bandwagon and call for him to be axed from the squad and sent back to Belgium or whatever has been said on social media. It's easy to get drawn into this stuff. For now, everyone behind Kelsher is what I'd like to see. But also, you don't want a repeat of the Murek situation where Ripswich probably hung on to him a little bit too long.

16:40Ross Halls:Very much so. Well, that's negatives out of the way. Let's just not muck about anymore. Let's talk about the positives because there was plenty still in this game. The game that I think we were expecting a goal fest. Although I remember arriving to the ground and we were chatting to different people and you go, oh, we're talking about goals and it would likely be a play ball draw, nil-nil. But no, there was goals. I want to talk about the Brazilian Emerson, who, again, got another goal, his second Premier League goal, had a really good game, I felt. Of course, came off injured. We've got Gary O 'Neill speaking about him.

17:14Ross Halls:But I want to just get your thoughts. Are you surprised, AJ, about his start to life? In pre-season, we saw that he was very raw and he had a few moments where he was like, oh, he needs to do better there. As Gary O 'Neill has been saying, he's a project signing. He's a club record signing. But are you surprised on how well he's done so far in the Premier League, his first appearance in English football? And, yeah, he's got two goals to his name so far. Yeah, I'm surprised. I didn't expect it. I think Gary O 'Neill expected it the way he's kind of spoken about him being a project striker, a raw striker, someone who kind of came in a little bit behind some of the others in pre-season, had to get used to the level.

17:53It's not just getting used to a different country, a different language, a different club, different teammates, different setups, different routines. And I think there's a lot of these things that kind of get – you forget about them, don't you? You don't think about the fact that he's a Brazilian coming from France and he's 22 years old, just turned, I think, isn't he? And you think, well, he's moving here. He's going to have to do this and sign that and go to this office to get this thing and show his passport to these people. and all of these things take time and they eat into your pre-season.

18:24And the way that he's adapted with all of those things in mind has been really impressive. And we saw it from the Sunderland game where he obviously gets the goal to kickstart his time at the club and even in pre-season, obviously, as well, where he did really well scoring some good goals towards the end of that period. But the way he's improved, and this is a really small sample, so it's like a really short period of time, the ways improved across that has been really really impressive to me where he was good but you could see that kind of raw ability in the game against Sunderland United again probably struggled to do too much in an attacking sense but I think that part of the reason Ipswich lost that game was because he went off and because they lost the focal point up front Liverpool again was a difficult game for him but then he comes back into this one and it would be easy to have had a tough battle against van dyke and to have your head drop a little bit be disappointed be frustrated and he looks like he's been nominated for the ballon door not necessarily in terms of the way that he plays like the ability the ability is there that's fine the confidence he plays with the swagger he plays with he goes and gets his goal the goal is fantastic um it's uh across from davis and a really good cross lands on his head but the power he gets behind it the way that he's able to beat the offside trap the way that he's able to get up into the air and just make sure that um benita's had absolutely uh no chance of keeping that one out really really good then he goes and gets the assist does he mean it no no he doesn't i don't think it's a it's an attempted header but it ends up flicking nicely into the path of davis to go and score but his overall play was so good he kept the defenders really busy and there was a bit in that second half which I think kind of summed up where he is at the moment, where he takes the ball, he carries it into kind of this quite tight corridor where he's got players around him.

20:21And you think, right, what is the six-foot-two Brazilian target man going to do here? O 'Neill's spoken about, oh, he's still developing a lot, has a lot of work to do with the ball at his feet. He just pirouettes one way, pirouettes the other, and all of a sudden he's opened the space for a shot. Needs to be better with the shot. He blasts it over. But, wow, that is what you're working with here. if this is kind of the baseline and there's things for him to go and improve and get better with i'm excited i really like this so incredibly impressed with him um if this is the start as i say ipswich town of a player on their hands i do indeed yeah once again when we were told by i spoke

20:58Ross Halls:to a few to lose fans and said you know if harry won't score your goals but he's very good at hold up play always goes you know drops it deep to kick get the ball and start play and he's showing that already and um yeah two goals to his name which is fantastic and um you of course asked gary about him because he did come off injured didn't he although that may be pre-planned in terms of you know when you get to that sort of hour mark you always look to change your striker off and of course theon fleming your boy comes on but um you spoke to gary about emerson let's see what he had to say when wants to play all right this always happens with this system i click on it and it He ticks it, I thought he was going to play.

21:35But Gary, over to you, mate. Another really strong display from Emerson. He came off with a bit of an inoculant. How's he? He's got a tight quad. No one thinks he's too bad, but with just quitting checks after the game, it's hard for me to be too accurate with you. We don't see there being a problem for Everton. I'll probably rest him in the week, I would think. I would have probably rested him anyway without a tight quad, but I thought he was excellent. I think he's, I'd hate to play against him. He must be tough to play against. He bashes people around. He runs in behind. He looks after the ball.

22:09He's a threat. So really pleased with how quickly he's taken to the level and the league. The coaching staff worked really hard with him on his technical stuff because it was a problem for him before. And he's getting better very, very quickly. So delighted with the progress he's made. I thought it was another excellent number nine performance from him today.

22:29Ross Halls:Yes, it was. and he's become my fans' favour already, AJ. You know, his name's getting sung in the away and he's actually now taken over Sam Morsey's chant. He's Brazilian, Port and Rowdy's Kingdom and, you know, the rest of everybody, which is fantastic to see. Although, got to be more original a little bit as well. Let's try to think of something different. Although he's like, Emerson, Emerson. But anyway, I'm not very good at creating chants, so I won't get involved in that. But great to see it, though. town fans really embracing the Brazilian AJ. Let's talk about a man who's been at the club for five years, five seasons now, and that is Leif Davis, who has started this season, AJ, incredibly well.

23:10Ross Halls:Got his second goal of the season in this one. It's going to be a big question I'm going to ask you now. I need to maybe do some research on other left-backs that could potentially play for England, but... Is he in for a shout, maybe, for the England squad? that will get announced soon there's always been that discussion, debate even the last Premier League season about Leif Davis but last time in the top flight adapting wasn't he he did struggle, this time around the role he's playing under Gary O 'Neill he's just thriving so yeah, your thoughts on that mate? No, not for me at the moment this is very early days we're talking about again a sample size of four Premier League matches where he has done incredibly well but let me just rattle off some of these here lewis hall nico o'reilly jed spence really good at the world cup tyrick mitchell luke shaw miles of skelly uh ben shillwell possibly even um there's good options and even archie brown over at fennelbach is doing pretty well so plenty of options for thomas tuchel to have a look at who probably have done more at the higher level over an extended period of time than leaf davis but he's delivering in the Premier League that's where the spotlight's going to be and at the moment the spotlight is very much on him because his performances over this four game period have been really good really impressive and um when you compare this to two years ago where I think he actually started pretty well in that season but I almost think that his his confidence just crashed over the course of the next few weeks and months that came after that and I think the kind of the low point then was that rash challenge on on sacker in the arsenal game the abuse he got death threats i think that came that way and um stuff that was really nasty to deal with having to pick himself up miss the newcastle game in that season as well that was really hard for him recovered going into the championship with a different role playing this inverted role that i don't think suited him and whatever gary o 'neill a has gotten to do tactically and b has fed him whatever has been in he's had his Weetabix, that's for sure, has just worked perfectly.

25:23Gary O 'Neill has managed to get the best out of him in a way that I didn't really expect, which is essentially in a back four. I thought the way to do it would be in a five, but he's managed to do it in a four, where he doesn't always invert, but he also then does do that. It's a balanced role, and he's built up this relationship that works so well with Filagene and with Clark, as we saw last year, but then also with Dyson Maeda as well. That's what I really like. It helps him to get into the game. Maybe it then limits what those wingers in front of him are able to do, but it gets the best out of Leif Davis.

25:58And those kind of runs that he makes cause Liverpool problems, cause Palace problems, cause United problems, of course, because he goes and gets the goal. Sunderland as well. Teams don't seem to be able to deal with it at Premier League level. And he's then going and getting the chances. He's being creative. He's scoring goals. Yeah, that's really good. Obviously, the defensive side is still an area that we want to work on. both of the goals come down his side in this game he's also caught out probably for the first goal I think it would have been Liverpool scored down that side as well just needs to make sure and his speed numbers as well the pace he's showing is really good but he needs to make sure he's getting back over quicker making sure that he's close to those right wingers in general he's been much better than that he was two years ago, that's still an area I'd like to see him improve but the attacking output's there and that's what I'm liking to see from him at the moment.

26:49Goals, assists, been one of Ipswich's top performers so far this season, undoubtedly.

26:55Ross Halls:Yes, indeed. And I know he has obviously got an engine on him. My one concern is, I know he can do this, he probably will do this, still a question to be asked really, but he hasn't, of course, got a natural replacement for him. I just hope he doesn't run himself into the ground too much and too early because, you know, anything can happen. If we lose Leaf, I'm a bit worried down that side. How do you feel about that? I think it's obviously it's good that they've got Wattara there and you've got the flexibility to move things around you can go with Jacob Greaves I wouldn't be that comfortable doing that in the Prem last time actually to be fair it was actually probably better in the Premier League than it was when McKenna tried it in the Championship last season but I think Wattara seems to be the one given that he started there in the Carabao Cup last time I think that Wattara will start against Arsenal tomorrow at left back.

27:45Spoiler. Yeah, I know. We'll come on to that. But come on, we all expected it. And the positive I have is that Davis, I don't think, is going to start tomorrow. So he's got a free week. The Premier League is an incredibly stop-start. He goes and he plays against Everton on Saturday and he's got three weeks off going into Fulham. You're not playing Saturday, Tuesday. He doesn't have to worry about a midweek trip to Swansea or Stoke or Preston or wherever. And that means that there's not going to be the same reliance on him to churn out minutes. He just gets to focus on one game at a time, one game every weekend.

28:18I think he'll be okay. He's managed to do that in the Championship mostly. I think he'll be okay at the Premier League. Just, yeah, don't get... You don't want a freak injury or anything like that, God forbid, because I'll agree the cover does feel like a bit of a step down. Although I'd like to see a bit more of a tar in the coming weeks.

28:34Ross Halls:Definitely. And one thing about Leaf as well, he's very calm in his celebrations as well. I think, I mean, he opened a scoring and once again, it was very low key. and then even this one to make it 2-1 it was it was sort of got pushed to go and celebrate I think it was Mazzicco Al Palacios sort of pushed him and then it was Jacob Grease and Julio Nciso celebrating with him and I was just like go on Leaf you've just got to get in the Premier League you've got to celebrate those crazy South Americans and Jacob Grease I know definitely but yeah yeah just Leaf has had a really good start the season keep up my friend my Geordie left back AJ let's talk about your boy Zion Fleming because he of course scored the goal.

29:14Ross Halls:And at the time, I thought, oh, that's a bit of a scrappy finish. But if you really actually watch it back, that is actually a tough goal to score. And we're going to hear from Zion very shortly. Good old Callum, our friend KOA, strike winner. Of course, he spoke to him after the game and you'll hear his questions. But yeah, let's talk about Zion's goal because he's first in the town shirt, But we're in the number nine. Had to come on for Emerson, of course. But yeah, let's talk us through that goal because it's harder than you actually think. Yeah, and I think up to that point, he'd had another kind of frustrating game similar to the one that we saw against Liverpool where nothing really fell for him in terms of opportunities.

29:59And he doesn't need much. I don't think he doesn't. And this one was one of those, again, watching it first time, I thought, God, he's lucky there. He's not caught that at all well. He's just managed to flick it in. It is poor goalkeeping. Even when watching it back, it's not great. The build-up to the move is nice, and Cesar with a really good ball into the box. Again, not one I was able to really appreciate at the time, but watching it back, a really nice pass. Davis does incredibly well then to get the header up and onto the crossbar. It kind of loops up, which is impressive then to get from that position to get that kind of trajectory on there and still manage to hit the woodwork.

30:37And yeah, the reactions from Zian, really impressive. I feel like I've said really impressive about everything, but yeah, it was just to kind of position himself there and take a really awkward shot. And the way that bounces to him, the way that falls, didn't make it a comfortable finish. He kind of had to reposition himself as he was taking the shot, but then he scoops it into the bottom corner, the way that he then gets the shot off as well, the way that he's able to hit it into a position where Walter Benitez cannot get near it, Benitez should be further over, but still was what makes it such a difficult shot, such an impressive kind of skill to be able to do that.

31:20That is someone who knows how to score goals. That's someone who just has that instinctive kind of finish to him. And yeah, if you feel like it's fluky, like I did at the time, go and watch it back. You'll feel different.

31:32Ross Halls:Yeah. And once again, he was very calm in the celebration. like he just scored a 90th minute winner mate and right near the away end but i don't know he just felt like it was just calm in the moment which sometimes you got to um and yeah good moment though town away and was crazy like i know there's a few stevie good old stevie from the car army said he kissed julio and sisa in the celebration julio went over this i think there's a clip on that on town i'm in five and um you see him embracing the south american of course but um let's hear from Zeon. One thing I was a bit disappointed actually, AJ, for you.

32:05Ross Halls:Normally you would speak to the player. It's normally Stu's speaking to Gary but you had to, of course, speak to Gary and yeah, you weren't able to because I heard a few Dutch journalists were involved in this. There were a lot. This was two-thirds Dutch, this post-match, which would have been good fun. I also liked, I'll just go back through this. As soon as I tweeted Goal Fleming, all of the replies are, let me read this out, Millwall Friend. Millwall Friend's your main man and another one that said Millwall friend with the gif of Jay from the Inbetweeners which did kind of sum it up. Thanks guys.

32:37Ross Halls:To be fair I even had a few messages as well privately from different people who listened to the podcast and said you know is AJ doing alright? Is his you know the rest? AJ was alright. He's right and he's still alright now but let's hear from Towns winning goal scorer Zion Fleming. 3-2 win right of the death sum that one up for us. Almost just like you say it now. I just got away with murder a little bit, but in the end, it's obviously a lovely feeling to get away with three points. How did you see the game overall? Did it feel like it ebbed and flowed? There were periods where you guys were on top, there were periods where you were on the back foot?

33:14Yeah, exactly. I think we started a little bit, maybe not as good as we would have liked to. Then we were quite good. Then they also got the red card, so then we were quite dominant. But then in the second half, we lost control and we struggled to get the momentum on our side again. and actually it was almost as if they needed to score the 2-2 for us to start attacking and pressing again which was a bit of a shame because you don't want to be in that position but now that we've won I wouldn't say it doesn't matter because for the process it does but in May everyone forgets about it and just sees the three extra points so for us and for the fans I think let's be happy and see the bigger picture but also for us inside the building and the manager obviously we will look into detail about what happened and make sure it doesn't happen again.

33:59Talk us through that moment then. Your first Premier League goal for Ripswich Town. How do you reflect on that one? Good cross from Julio at the back stick. Great header from Leib and I saw it floating towards the back post.

34:18It might sound weird but I've seen it go on the crossbar. I expected it to go on the crossbar and that's why I anticipated it and was at the right place at the right time. There's still a bit of work to do. I've not seen it back yet, but it bounced a bit awkwardly and it was outside of the ankle. So it was not easy, even though it might have looked easier. Again, I've not seen it back, but I managed to get a good contact to get it over the line.

34:45Ross Halls:I'm sure he's watched it back though, AJ. I'm sure a lot of the town players have, because they would do. They watched the whole game back to analyze and stuff like that. Sorry for the background noise there as well. I should have gave you that heads up before playing that clip but I completely forgot about that so sorry if that was hard to listen but you still still heard good old Zion's Dutch accent and saying he's just a cool character isn't he AJ just cool and collective and got his first goal in a town shirt one thing as well and he was part of that the subs I thought made a massive difference in this game AJ Florentino Luiz I want to talk about him the octopus I thought he was fantastic in this.

35:26Ross Halls:There's a few little moments, maybe it start when he came on. I think he just had to get the grits of the game, but then for the rest of it, I even went as far as posting on social media with a picture of him and just saying, really impressed. That's when, you know, Roscoe is really impressed when I go out my way to find a picture from my gallery and put it out there as a social post. I don't do that that often. But yeah, Florentino, should we talk about him and then the other subs if you want to, my friend? Yeah, I agree. Really impressed by him with the way that he calmed it, switched down in a really tricky patch where they've conceded and Palace Tales are up.

36:04They're feeling the momentum. They're feeling the crowd behind them and Lukic kind of lost his way a little bit, I felt, in that period. I don't know whether it had happened with that coming together with Strand Larson or what, but he got books around that time and And as soon as it happened, it was clear he had to come off. And he came off two minutes after the goal goes in. It just needed to be a bit where Ipswich steadied themselves. And Florentino Luis came on and did that. And he wasn't faultless. He wasn't seamless on the ball and off it. But he just had that kind of presence in the middle of the park that calmed Ipswich down a little bit.

36:41When you're playing with Lukic and Palacios, you don't have that kind of deep-lying sitter who protects the back line, who can kind of dictate the tempo a little bit from deep, but just acts as that kind of anchor in midfield. Neither of them do that. Florentino Luis is more of a Matasiwa profile, a Sam Morsi profile. And that was what Ipswich needed in those latter stages just to calm down a little bit, basically. So, yep, agree. Definitely one I have on the list of people that stood out from the subs. Interesting to see the two left-wingers getting brought at the same time with Filagene returning from injury and Maida coming onto the pitch.

37:19And it was Maida who ended up playing on the right. I thought it was going to be Filagene, but obviously Gary O 'Neill has watched enough clips of Jadon Filagene playing right wing in the Premier League last year to know that's not a good idea. So yeah, Filagene went left and Maida went down the right. It was a typical Dyson-Maida cameo, just like his starts, where all of the effort, all of the running, nothing fell for him, nothing worked for him, nothing in an attacking sense. Villagin, just good to see him back more than anything, didn't have a lot to contribute I felt in the game but kind of got the ball out of some tight areas at times where Ipswich again needed composure on the ball rather than someone just lumping it long and Palace regaining possession and attacking again and then we saw Abdul Wattara at the end as well which was quite nice he came on and they shifted his introduction actually came at right back which is where a lot of people would like to see more of him just shifted that back line over so it became Davis this Diop, O'Shea and Wattara with Greaves coming onto the pitch, which, again, I think just worked in those latter stages.

38:19Ross Halls:Very much so. All right, then, AJ, let's talk about what it means, what it all means for town. Six points on the board. And we're, you know, seventh on the table, something like that? Eighth, maybe? It's ninth now. So, unfortunately, the dreams of European football are slipping away. The top five finish, I'm not 100 % sure, is on. I mean, there is only one point between Ipswich in ninth and Chelsea in fifth. So who knows? A good performance at Everton, and we could be planning Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich away soon enough. But ninth as things stand. Yeah, doing very much better than Coventry, because dearie me, they didn't have a good one, did they?

39:03Ross Halls:But Hull, fair play to them. Well done to them. Hull are planning for Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich away at the moment. and as well it's just quickly on them it's the performances that they're getting against top teams like they've not just had an easy run of it i remember looking at their start thinking god they're done for and they go to chelsea right having played brilliantly they've gone deadline day they've signed all these fantastic players what do they do they don't start any of them they go with louis coyle and ajayi and egan and slater and crooks as your midfield too McBurney and Balumi up top and Balumi was fantastic and they go and get a draw at Stamford Bridge that could have been a win they are baffling to me Hull fair play to them and if Jekirovic manages to keep up that form give him the United job next or something like that Yeah very much fair play to the Tigers but it's all about town of course AJ the first Premier League win away from home coming from behind since December 2001 you was you wasn't even born aj were you well yes i was okay you weren't you're not that you're not that young you're not that young no but um i wasn't that old at the time either i would have just celebrated my first birthday when town last did that in the premier league coming from behind um yeah at tottenham which is pretty crazy oh incredible um and yeah just i think there's just so many milestones in this game, AJ, because it's the second Premier League win, coming from behind, winning away from home, as we already said in the Premier League, is tough, and especially at Selhurst Park.

40:43Ross Halls:I know we went in that game feeling like we could get stuffened, but from how the game was panning out and stuff, I will admit, I wasn't expecting that late win. I was like, what a point? Take that, move on. But to get that win, just happy days. And just, yeah, a lot of positivity is going into now. We, of course, switched our focus to Carabao Cup action, but yeah, it's just a big three points and that's what we need, especially six points out of possible as well. Yeah, it's a morale lifter after back-to-back defeats to United and Liverpool. There were probably a few more questions and doubts and concerns given the fast start and how good we felt after the Sunderland win and Leicester in the Cup and things like that.

41:24So it's good to regain that feeling again. That's nice. and it's just another indication that this is a very different Ipswich and you see that with the result, of course, because Ipswich two years ago would have lost that game, let alone drawn it. And the way that they did it as well, it felt like they'd become a little bit smarter, a little bit more intelligent with their game management. Okay, I say that, yes, about the way that they almost conceded, well, did concede and almost kind of threw away the win and had to rely on a late goal. but you look at how they were, for example, with the De Sassi red card.

42:03And the one thing they didn't do last time round was just be a pain. You have to be careful, of course. You don't want to overdo it. But the way that they kind of went to the ref, the way that they built it up, they made sure he got sent off. It was a red. It was a blatant red card. But Ipswich were making sure that De Sassi was not going to leave the pitch at all without a red card and an early bath. so that I think was important to do and then the way that they managed the second half I actually really liked I thought that they handled that second half period pretty well by balancing it and being wary that Palace still have a lot of good attacking players on the pitch but being dominant, having most of the ball creating chances, threatening knowing that they didn't need to kill it they didn't need to go score 4-5-6 they just needed to make sure they were always in the ascendancy they were always the team in control So, yeah, just feels like a smarter, savvier team in terms of how they manage games, in terms of how they manage certain situations within games, like that red card, like when goals go against them.

43:06I just like it. It gives off better vibes. So, overall, feeling much, much better going into another busy week.

43:15Ross Halls:Yes, and yeah, I want to pick up what you said about, yeah, last time in the Premier League, you wouldn't have lost that game. That's the problem. We conceded loads of late goals, didn't we? or we just couldn't get over the line this time around. Both our wins now have been late winners. Late winners from subs? Yeah. Yeah, I think they're both 90th minute, weren't they? Both 90th minute winners with substitutes scoring. Not bad. Not bad at all. And yeah, marker of how far we've come, which is fantastic. AJ, got a two-game week, of course, coming up now with Arsenal at Portman Road in the Carabao Cup and, of course, a trip to Everton.

43:52Ross Halls:let's do a little preview then of the Arsenal game or is there any other business you want to mention from Palace no I'll do one quick thing as well I was going to mention this at the end but I don't know if he'll tune off before that I met a fan on the way to the game we met at East Croydon and he came up and said hello I had my headphones in these ones and they're noise cancelling so I think he shouted Upper Town at me you're just ignoring him I was not I promise if you listen I was not ignoring you I was in a world of my own trying to figure out if the train to my right was actually the one i was supposed to be on like peering through the windows and uh yeah we had a quick chat and it was quite funny actually because i said oh you're in uh east croydon you must be going to the game said no i'm flying flying with my wife to greece so that was kind of ironic that we bumped into each other there just just down the road from where that game was going on i did not catch your name that was really bad of me as i said i was in a world of my own um please reach out let me know welcome to the koa army and thank you as well it's a regular listener thank you for listening apologies for not catching your name i was in a world of my own as i said but i hope you enjoyed um your flight the win and your time in greece definitely mate yeah i've got a few shout outs to give as well actually liam from crew who um filmed our ratings game and also who took me home he actually had to wait for me for a while because we had to finish our work.

45:17And reminded me that Sassy was the one who got sent off as well.

45:21Ross Halls:Yeah, but your mind was just everywhere because of so much type of type you had to do. So, yeah. Fun little fact, AJ. I've got a new game which we can potentially play in the future. It's called the Food Hygiene Game. So, basically, when we... Me, a big shout-out to Joe, who gave me a lift to Palace and his brother James and his mum Julie. and we when we're going through the croydon high street or you know going through you know lear selhurst we're going through you know different cds you know food takeaway establishments or just restaurants and they have the food hygiene don't they you know out of five and we're like guessing oh what have they got um and there was a few threes and we're like it's a bit dodgy so um maybe we'll have to do that going forwards maybe check out itridge town first of all and then maybe we go and branch out and other away games.

46:13Ross Halls:But anyway, a bit of a tangent because, of course, Arsenal is next up, AJ. Shall we get your thoughts on how you think Town will approach this? It sounds like it is going to be rotation versus rotation for both sides. Of course, Arsenal got a win on the weekend against Sunderland, of course, a 2-0 win. But yeah, they're going to rotate, I'm sure. What do you reckon, my friend, in this one? Yeah, it does feel like rotation against rotation. you've got to say that probably maybe you could make an argument that the reigning Premier League champions and Champions League finalists have a slightly stronger squad.

46:50Overall, maybe not much in it, who knows, but it does feel like they've got slightly stronger options with what Arteta has at his disposal. Of course, this is a Cabal Cup replay from 2011. That was the semi-finals. It's actually won the first leg in that one, the Priskin goal, where everyone thought maybe, maybe it will be Wembley. and then the Emirates Stadium came along, and it wasn't. So that was a shame. But maybe that just gives you hope under the lights at Portman Road against Arsenal in the Cup. Maybe that just sticks in the back of your head there. But no doubt, this is going to be a very strong Arsenal team.

47:26They come into this one having won every single competitive game they've played so far this season, including the Community Shield, whether you consider that competitive or not. Swatted aside Man City in that one. They have conceded in that time. Do you know how many goals? One. They've conceded one goal in that time to Chelsea. So they've been defensively incredibly solid. They've added some good players. How many of them we'll see, I'm not too sure. And that's going to be the big question mark. What is Mikel Arteta going to do for this? We'll come on to town in a second, by the way. But how does he balance this?

47:57There's a bit of a defensive injury crisis for Arsenal at the moment. Missing important players. Ben White came off on the weekend at Sunderland. Saliba is out at the moment. I think Hinkapie has been another one who's a bit of a doubt. So they might come in with a couple of youngsters. Obviously, Max Dowman is one who's had a run out in the Cups. He is the teenage wonder kid. I think he's 16 at the moment, which just kind of sums up how well he's been doing. I would imagine that there's every chance that he's starting in midfield. In this one, defensively, again, they might have to change things up.

48:31I think that Marley Salmon, who's been captaining the 21s for Arsenal, could be given the nod to start this game as well. and then you look at the other experienced players they've got that they can call upon. Those that aren't starting, you're thinking Kepa in goal, possibly Timber starting the game at right back in the absence of White. You're looking at Bruno Gimarias came off the bench. He could maybe start. Heze, I would imagine, will start. Zubimendi and Marino from the World Cup squad that Spain have. Noni Madueke, I think Jokeres will start up front. These are the guys who aren't getting minutes for Arsenal.

49:07So, yeah, shows the strength that they've got. This is a tall order, no doubt about it. But under the lights of Portman Road, who knows?

49:16Ross Halls:Yeah, anything can happen. And my own prediction, I bet this goes to penalties. It'll be a frustrating sort of watch and it goes to penalties. Yeah, that's my only shout. Penalties, why not? Although deadline, probably not quite ideal. No, it wouldn't be great. No. But I want to get your thoughts on your Predict 11, AJ. Normally, we do like a build-up show when it's a league game, versus the cup game I'm going to mention on the podcast. You've got a banner to flash up. So if you're watching on video, you'll see it, but you are going to read it through and I will agree, maybe disagree on potential players.

49:48Ross Halls:So flash up, my friend. Have you seen it yet, Ross? You haven't looked. It's okay. So you know Watar is at left back. Here is my team to play Arsenal tomorrow night. Let me talk you through it. I've actually not even put the formation in there. That's really disappointing. You know it's 4-2-3-1 because that's how it goes. This could be an opportunity, I suppose, to change tactics, change formations, try things out. I just can't see it with the likely number of changes, with it being a midweek game as well. You don't have a lot of time to work on things on the training ground. I think they'll stick to a 4-2-3-1 and see how that goes up against some of the best players in the world.

50:23Here is the team I've gone with. Christian Walton starting in goal. As discussed, this will be his opportunity to show that he's able to claim those gloves from Kel Sherpen. If the opportunity arises, then the back line I've got is the same back line that played against Leicester in the last round. That's Daniel Furlong at right back. Gary Neal has spoken about how he wants to get in more minutes and just hasn't been able to. Centre-back partnership of O'Shea and Kipre with Watara at left back. Then the midfield two with Cam Humphreys having gone. Florentino Luis, I think, will come in for his first start alongside Marcelino Nunez last seen at Old Trafford.

50:57And then the front line, interesting one. Casey McIntyre. We don't necessarily know what the situation is with him because he wasn't in the squad over the weekend. He wasn't one of those directly named by O 'Neal as I've had a selection headache and had to leave them out, so there could be a knock there, but assuming he's good to go, I would expect him to start on the right. Sindra Balageli through the 10, been a tough couple of weeks for him, but hopefully a good opportunity. Jadon Philogene, Gary O 'Neal said he's fit to start again, came off the bench over the weekend, so I'd imagine that he'll get the nod over Maida and Clark just to build up a bit of match fitness and an up top bit of a debate there because gary o 'neill loves tube rack pom this would be tube rack pom against his boyhood club as well um but i think this is an opportunity to again get zian fleming some more minutes having been a substitute in the last couple of games try and build off that goal he scored at palace on the weekend so that is my team walton furlong o'shea kiprae watara florentino nunez uh mcatea sindra walette gelli philagine and zian fleming Russ, any further on that?

52:00Anything you'd disagree with? Anything you'd question?

52:05Ross Halls:Not really. Obviously, there's potential... I know he won't get chucked in, of course, Azor Masasiba's fit to potentially come in as well, so he could be an option on the bench. Anas Vometti is a bit of a... I wouldn't say he's an enigma now, but actually, fair enough, bumped into him at Palace on Saturday, and I just thought I was like, oh, Anas. But he's surely got to be involved in this at some stage. I think he'll be on the bench. There could be, look, if there is an issue with McAteer, again, I don't know, but if there was, then you could look at putting Sindra out onto the right and going Mimeti through the middle.

52:36Yeah, I'd imagine that him and Matasiwa will both be on the bench with this one, but I'm struggling to find space for Mimeti to start and Matasiwa was mentioned heading into the Palace game that he wasn't quite ready to be in the starting line-up.

52:53Ross Halls:Yeah, there's no one else really. I don't think you can just sort of chuck in there really. You want to obviously keep everyone sort of fresh and ready, you know, for the Premier League. So especially when you're still in the cup competition, you want to say Cedric Kippe, you want to start him to give him more minutes. Obviously, as you mentioned, Darnell Furlong, even Marcian. Would you go with Fleming then in that case? Or would you look to keeping... Akpom, Fleming obviously hasn't played in the last couple of games. Wasn't in the squad against Liverpool, I don't think. And there was an unused sub over the weekend.

53:24do you want to regardless I think he'll get minutes in this game but who would you start of those two

53:29Ross Halls:I think Fleming is the hot hand he's just scored and you know he wants to get really up to speed I know he's already played for Burnley this season scored for Burnley but I think this is an ideal opportunity to start in this one and as you mentioned Chubut can come on in a second half at some stage against his boyhood club so no I'm happy with that line-up it's just options we've got plenty of options but Arsenal have got very good options as well So it is going to be a very tough game, AJ, against the Premier League champions. What are you predicting, my friend? Defeat, unfortunately. I think that this Arsenal team, even with their rotation, is just very good at football.

54:13I think that they are incredibly difficult to break down. I think that they're going to be very strong in cup competitions because they just don't concede many goals. and then they've got the X Factor in the final third to go and win games, be it through Eze, be it through Jokeres. We're talking again about the guys who didn't start Sunderland over the weekend. Madueke, two England internationals and however much Jokeres costs, like 70-odd million. It's not starting games. It speaks volumes about what they've got available to them, Arsenal. My biggest thing, I think, for this will be the performance.

54:45I just want to see Ipswich be competitive. I don't want to see Ipswich getting blown away. I'm really struggling to deal with the quality that Arsenal have, especially with how with the fact that Portman Road, you want to keep it fairly tight, but I do think that the quality will be telling in the end, and I do have Arsenal to win this one 2-0

55:07Ross Halls:That's fair enough, as I said earlier I want to go for penalties, why not, a bit of fun Who wins? Got a back town, haven't I? Love it! We haven't unfortunately got George Hurst to miss penalty for us anymore. Sorry, George, but that was becoming a regular theme and he's really happened at Stokes. So, sorry, George. Good for him, Tony. Got a nice goal. Yeah. Nice header for them. Definitely. But, yeah, why not win a penalty? Who could be the winning goal scorer on the penalty shootout? Maybe, yeah, Chuba Akpong. Yeah. What a story. Would he celebrate? Who knows? Chuba would be fantastic, wouldn't he?

55:45Ross Halls:Yeah, and of course, little spoiler for a potential web story that's going out tomorrow on the ref watch. Fair enough, the ref who is reffing the game refed Arsenal's Carabao Cup final defeat against Man City back in March at Wembley. So is that an omen maybe? Probably not. But AJ, thanks for joining me as ever. Any other business as we get to the magic hour? Anything else you want to mention as we end the show? Yeah, I'll quickly touch on this story because it came up just before we were about to record i think it's probably just worth blagging some investment chat some money chat some new people on board uh you obviously know that ed sheeran is a minority shareholder we've been oh yeah there you go you see we've then had some new people coming on board uh miami heat forward former miami heat forward odonis haslam was i think he came on board last year that was announced over the summer at some point i think i was off at the point yeah he he's a minority shareholder it was revealed that uh new orleans saints wide receiver formerly uh marquez colston is a minority shareholder as well through the champion fund spoke a little bit about why he wanted to do that in the premier league and uh off the back of the world cup and we have a new name a new face in american sports who uh has reportedly bought a minority stake in ipswich colin cowherd this is a new name to me entirely.

57:11I mean, I'll be honest, all of them are. 62-year-old who works within broadcasting, has been doing that since the 1990s, initially in radio, then gone into other platforms. He's been working with Las Vegas TV station, KVBC, does a load of NFL coverage with ESPN, hosts a podcast called The Herd with Colin Cowherd. I like it. On Fox, he's got a whole podcasting network, The Volume, which they've been talking about selling it for a nine-figure fee, just to speak about how much money there could be from his side. And there's a report from Front Office Sports saying that he's got a minority stake in Ipswich.

57:50We don't know what that size is, but the quotes are reached by phone. Calherb confirmed that he's become part owner in the team. His late mother, Patricia, was from Leicester, 120 miles away. To Americans, that's really nearby. It's like next to next, which I think is why it's mentioned. Reports that he tried to buy an MLS team didn't really work out. And now it looks like he's got a stake in Ipswich. So the understanding that we have is that that's not been done directly with Ipswich, but rather through one of the groups that was already invested in the club, who managed to get him on board now as a minority investor.

58:23That's how we see it at the moment. But an interesting story. It's good fun having some names from over the pond. People familiar with American sports, basketball and NFL, things like that, who have some recognisable names who are involved with Ipswich Town might just boost the profile in the US a little bit more as well. So yeah, one to follow, but that's the latest on that front.

58:45Ross Halls:You're mentioning his podcast, whether it is a nine-figure fee, potentially, how much can we sell K-A? What do you reckon is our fee? What do you think Hefe's going to put on it? What would he put on it? Probably more than that. How much could we sell it for? Or like 17, 18 pounds. Yeah. No, we can do more than that. We're worth far more than that. This and yours, Ross, is, yeah, invaluable. Yeah, somewhat. But yes, AJ, thank you so much for joining me. Thanks, everyone, for listening to the latest Coway podcast. 1:02:25We'll be right back. I use my sink, I make eye contact with the uneven grout on my kitchen backsplash. The crooked corners eye me and I'm haunted by more tiling questions than I thought possible. What kind of pro can fix a backsplash? Can I replace one cracked tile or should I replace them all? What? What if I just use Thumbtack? I can hire top-rated pros, read reviews, and compare prices with a tap, all on the app. Thumbtack knows homes. Download the app today.

Ross Halls is joined by Alex Jones to reflect on Ipswich Town’s 3-2 win against Crystal Palace.

The boys start by getting their frustrations out of the way following the display at Selhurst Park before turning to the plethora of positives, including first-half goals from Emersonn and Leif Davis.

Then it’s onto the second half against 10 men, with Zian Flemming coming off the bench to win the match late on, giving the Blues their second victory of the season.

There’s also chat about tomorrow’s Carabao Cup clash against Arsenal, with a discussion about who could start against the Gunners under the Portman Road lights.
