0:57Hello everybody, it's me Roscoe and welcome to the latest Kings of Anglia, Itteristown Transfer Talk series. Killing up with speed with all the latest links and rumours surrounding the Blues. And we have the returning Alex Jones. Dirt Watson was a good replacement, he did a good job last week. But AJ is the transfer guru for us, he keeps us updated, everything. Any little rumours, any little whisper. My friend, how are you since we last spoke? yeah i'm good thanks i think i mean obviously this is the the morning after the night before from an england perspective there's my little wall chart i've been filling in i say little takes up like half my wall that you can't quite see um but yeah that that was quite sad afterwards filling it in and having to put england into the the third place playoff game what a rubbish thing.
1:47Is it bronze now? Oh, it's just awful. I'm going to get medals or anything like that. What a waste of time. And I'm fascinated to see the 11 changes that Thomas Tuchel makes, although probably the less said about Thomas Tuchel at the moment, the better. Anyway, I digress. Yeah, I'm good. Had a nice week away. Went down to Dorset. It was really hot. And yeah, even though I tried to shut myself off. We had a chat about this earlier, Ross. I tried to shut myself off from all the Ipswich news. It was impossible because obviously Emerson signed while I was away. There's been lots of different rumours coming out about Kieran Slicker went out on loan, as we'll touch upon later in this.
2:32Lots of different things going on. And, yeah, I've kind of had to be in the loop. I even had you messaging me saying they're about to announce Emerson in like half an hour. I was like, oh my God, I'm happy you told me, but I actually never, yes, I can never switch off from this. So yeah, this is the encapsulation of that is transfer talk because I'm the kind of person who at like half seven at night will be scrolling Twitter, trying to find any sort of rumours to talk about, to write up. So yeah, we've got a few to bring you today. Yeah, let's get cracking. Yes, get right into it. Yeah, I've been off for the last few days or since Friday last week and I can't switch off because I'm obviously a town fan, But I've got so many different group chats and different people who just talk all things at your town.
3:15So I can never switch you off. That's a good thing sometimes because, you know, you're up to speed everything. And that's what we're going to do today, AJ, as you said. We've got a midfielder, a striker, two wingers. And also we're going to mention a player who was on loan with us last year, but could be set to sign for a championship club. I'm sure they know very much about him because they spied on us last season. But anyway, let's talk about a Norwegian, AJ, a 28-year-old midfielder, Patrick Berg, who has been playing for Norway at the World Cup. Played against England, of course, in the quarterfinals.
3:47Plays for Bodo Glimt at the Boyhood Club in Norwegian top flight. Let us know a little bit more about this rumour of Patrick Berg, my friend. Yeah, interesting player. He's played for his Boyhood Club. He's only really ever played for his Boyhood Club. He had six months away, and that's all that he had. he went to join lons in ligand he joined in the january he struggled to get into the team and by august of that year he was sold back to bodo glimps and um as i said it's his club and he's had immense success for them he's won four uh norwegian elita syrian titles they'll probably get another one this year he's been part of those big giant killings that we've discussed especially when when discussing bodo's manager he was linked with the ipswich vacancy uh not beat the likes of Man City, Atletico Madrid, knocked Inter out of the Champions League.
4:39So done really well there. And he's been a key part of that. He captains Bodo Glimps. He's become an instrumental part of the Norwegian national team who, I mean, in World Cup qualifying, they were exceptional. They were brilliant. And they'd kind of been one of the dark horses. Can you say dark horse when you've got Erling Haaland? I suppose. One of the dark horses of the tournament, knocking out Brazil and taking England right to the end. So, yeah, he's been a really instrumental part of that. And now there are reports that he might be on the way back out of Norway again for the second time in his career.
5:15And there's a lot of teams linked in town among them. They're alongside the two newly promoted clubs, as is always the case, Coventry and Hull, as well as championship sides, West Ham and Burnley. A really interesting player. He's kind of this deep-lying playmaker, midfielder. He can dictate games from deep. He likes to conduct what goes on ahead of him. He's a progressive passer. He can switch play. He wins the ball. So a really nice all-rounder. He's got a strong football IQ. I think he's an intelligent footballer. And obviously, as I mentioned, has those leadership qualities. This one came from Team Talk.
5:51So again, when you see Team Talk and you see the number of clubs linked, that has to raise some questions. But you can understand why he would be a player of interest. it is a big step up going from Norway into the Premier League, into being an important player. And at 28, he probably doesn't have a huge amount to grow and develop and kind of come on. I say that like a bit like your old ways when you say a player gets to 30 and that's it. Obviously, they still can, but it's not the same as signing a 23, 24-year-old. Yeah, not one I think would probably end up materialising, to be honest. and I think it might be quite agent-driven after an impressive World Cup to try and get him a move.
6:31But I like him. Let's see. It depends what kind of fee will be touted as well. Definitely. And as standard, I just went on YouTube and just watched the highlights and sort of saw the best bits and stuff. He scored a lot of free kicks. He's their set-piece taker. So, yeah, I like it. But when you see loads of different clubs linked, you're like, yeah, probably not. But you've done a piece, AJ, on midfielders that dropped Thursday morning. uh whenever you guys listen watch this uh that's online right now and um yeah he picked out potential midfielders the one thing i've seen a lot of people pick up though you said just one signing a midfield but a lot of people think they should be two or three maybe midfielders well uh yeah i got a lot of this on social i said so basically one yeah well yeah they will i i would imagine they will they will go for more than one in the piece itself i wrote in the market for a new midfielder i didn't necessarily mean it to be like one new midfielder i just said a new like here are the list of options.
7:28Then on the tweet I put out, I said at least one, which I think was fair because I haven't said that they're limited to one. I can't tell you how many midfielders Ipswich are planning on signing. If I could, I would. I haven't heard at this point. Sometimes we do hear these things, but midfield, look, it's an area they'll want to strengthen. I don't know in terms of the exact numbers. I would imagine that two feels like the right number, possibly three, if there's a bit of movement there. so yeah I've come up with a list of eight who I think could fit the bill not super like high profile Granit Xhaka names as some people were expecting on social media but those who I think would be I'd say a wide variety you've got players who've experienced the Premier League over a number of years some of you are captains other clubs others who have really impressed abroad one who's worked with Gary O 'Neill in the past abroad and names like that.
8:23I'll give you one then. That's kind of the way I like to tease it. The one who I think stands out to me, and I don't know how feasible it would be. I don't think he's going to be a starter at his club necessarily next season, but Al Tanaka at Leeds, I think is a fantastic footballer. I was a little bit disappointed when, I mean, he came to play at Portman Road in that pre-season friendly for Fortuna. Dusseldorf, to play in that one. And I just thought with the relationship between the two clubs, Could there have been something that could have been agreed there? Ultimately, that was when Ipswich were in the Premier League.
8:54He ended up going to the Championship with Leeds, helped them win promotion and then helped them stay in the division, scored some really big goals. He scored against Liverpool. What, he scored against Chelsea as well? I can't remember. But yeah, been a really instrumental player. There was a report back in April saying he was open to moving. He's kind of had 28 appearances in the Premier League, split evenly with starts and cameos. But yeah, a report from Sky in Germany saying he'd be open to going and a transfer fee probably$8 million to$10 million would be needed. Not sure that that would still be the case or what the situation would be with him.
9:26But he's a fantastic footballer. He's so kind of strong, press-resistant, resilient. He's a really tough footballer. I think he'd complement Azul Matasiwa really well, can progress the ball. Yeah, I love him. He'd be one of my top targets this summer. there's a strong list I've tried to put together with different backgrounds. That one went up this morning, so that's Thursday morning as we record this. Go and check that out and hopefully a nice array of different names, some of which you probably wouldn't have heard of. Japanese international would be great. That would be great. We lost the Indonesian fans of course with Elkenberg even to Millwall so we need another market to go into.
10:09We've got a Brazilian market now with Emerson of course but we need to target different markets in the world to bring that fan base together. But yeah, very interesting, those midfielders. Let's talk about a striker than AJ. This is a position I'm sure we want to strengthen even more in with Emerson coming in. It's another youngster. I mean, a 20-year-old from Chelsea. And Mark Gouy, I think is one of those. I think you can say it different ways. Spanish, of course. So we've come across this one before. You might remember 12 months ago, Ipswich relegated from the Premier League. And I think the first transfer room we had that summer was this striker.
10:46And I just went with how it was spelt and said Gui. I think it's pronounced Gui, which is slightly different. Yeah, I think we got it right. So, yeah, that's how I believe it's pronounced. But, yes, Mark Gui at Chelsea. This is one. He's come through the ranks at Barcelona. One of those kind of really highly rated strikers who ended up leaving Barcelona, who went to Chelsea, hasn't really been able to kick on them the way that he would have hoped. And obviously, Chelsea get through strikers like anything as well, as we know with Liam De Lapp, who's been linked with a move away already with Nicholas Jackson.
11:23They've signed Emmanuel Omega, who could also just be sold again instantly this summer. Bizarre football club. Anyway, one of the options about them looking to sell would be moving on Mark Gui. It's been reported by The Athletic that he's expected to depart in some way, shape or form, either on loan or permanently. There's interest from English clubs, from foreign clubs. We're unsure at this stage whether he's going to go on the pre-season trip with Chelsea, whether they might try and move him on before then. But yeah, this one came from Ben Jacobs, who was speaking on the London is Blue podcast and speaking about interest from Sunderland.
12:02Sunderland had him last year for two games on loan, and Chelsea triggered a recall clause because Liam de Lappe injured himself early on in the season. They needed to get the cover back in. So Sunderland have been linked again with him this summer, and he's also, Ben Jacobs, touted Ipswich as an option. Ipswich could be another one to watch. They're not the only ones in this race. Fiorentina as well were mentioned. And yeah, an interesting one because we've obviously seen this before. We've been here and seen the story before. I don't think it's the route that Ipswich would go down, given his age, given the fact they've just gone and signed Emerson, who turned 22 today.
12:44Happy birthday, Emerson, from us at KOA. Yeah, given that, I don't think that Ipswich would want to go out and sign another young, inexperienced, raw talent to take into the Premier League. I think that they'll need someone with more experience. It's a nice idea. I think he's an impressive, promising footballer. But, yeah, high ceiling. But Ipswich needs someone to complement Emerson that can be the here and now. Yeah, definitely. I know he helped Chelsea, of course, win the Europa Conference League, wasn't he? I think he scored like six goals in that spell. So, yeah, he's played European football.
13:18But, yeah, for me, a bit of a risk. Because Emerson's the risk. I know Mark Huey, he's played some Premier League games at Chelsea, but we need a proven out-and-out striker who's playing in the Premier League or who's got experience. So once it's on the list, we shall see what happens on that one. But I can imagine it will go out on loan probably to somewhere abroad. That's my hot take on Mark. Let's talk about another youngster, AJ. 18-year-old winger from Spurs, Mikey Moore, who's had a pretty good season at Rangers last campaign, made more. When I was going through the stats, I was like, what?
13:5547 games he played in all competitions, scoring seven goals. he's a youngster, of course, who burst on the scene at Spurs when I was looking once again, you know, their youngest player to play for them in the Premier League at just 16-year age. Fine enough, beating Dane Scarlett to that record. So, little connection there. But yeah, a little bit more about this, my friend, Mikey Moore. Yeah, fantastic young talent. One that Tottenham rate very highly, spent last season out at Rangers on loan. started quite slowly, I believe, and I think fans weren't fully convinced, but when he hit his stride, he became a real fan favourite there.
14:33It was obviously a slightly tougher season for Rangers. I believe they finished third. It was in the Scottish Premiership, and he was one of the bright sparks within that team, and now it's about the next step for him, and Tottenham are throwing money around like it's nobody's business. They're putting huge amounts in. They've gone and they've signed Sandro Tonali for billions, and then they've got, who's the other one? Matias Fernandes from West Ham. They've spent lots on. That's around£200 million in talent already. It doesn't look like they're going to stop. I don't think they want to be involved in another relegation battle.
15:08So I'd imagine they'll bolster the forward line and that might make things harder for Mikey Moore to go and get minutes. So it's going to be a case of him going out on loan. I think the report that's come out from Football Insider has said the decision's already been made, that he will go out on loan and they claim that Ipswich have not only been in contact with Tottenham about doing a deal, but they've actually made an offer to sign him on loan, which Tottenham have rejected because, and I quote, they do not want to send the young forward out to a side they expect to be battling relegation, which stings, I would say.
15:44Other clubs link, Borussia Dortmund, FC Köln and PSV Eindhoven. Yeah, again, I will take anything that comes from Football Insider with a pinch of salt, to be perfectly honest. And the other, of course, interesting twist is it's the one position in the entire team that Ipswich are well stocked in. Jadon Filagene, Jack Clark and Anastasia Mometti all able to play in the left-sided position that Mikey Moore plays in. So it would need one of those to leave. That maybe then would tie in with Jadon Filagene. We know that Jadon Filagene has switched agents to join Team Raiola, which quite often precedes summer interest and a move.
16:24So Fabrizio Romano picked up on that, said that there's a possibility of Jadon Filagene moving on this summer. My understanding is that there is interest in Jadon Filagene this summer from Premier League clubs and also from foreign clubs, but it would take a sizable fee to get him away from Portman Road, given he costs north of£20 million. And I think that unless Jadon Filagene was to leave, if Ipswich would not be after a left winger. And I can't see Jadon Filagene leaving imminently, let's put it that way. So I've definitely got question marks about this report with Mikey Moore. Yeah, and it costs a lot of money, but it would be a loan anyway.
17:03But yeah, just want it to excite you a little bit. But he's an 18-year-old and you're like, is he someone you need when you're going to be fighting a relegation battle? I like him. I think he's good. Again, if Ipswich weren't as stocked in that position, he's certainly someone I'd be looking at because I think he's got all of the qualities to really kick on and play Premier League football. There's a reason why Spurs rate him so highly. He's got a huge ceiling as a young player. He would need the support in that role. If Jadon Filagene was to go and he was the Jadon Filagene replacement, you had Mikey Moore, Jack Clark, Anis Mometi, that would feel like quite a well-rounded unit.
17:44But as I said, with Jadon Filagene still at the club, it's not anything I could see moving forward. And I still have huge doubts about the reliability with that rumour. Okay, then. Let's talk about another winger then, my friend. This time, it's a Dutch winger, 25-year-old player in Turkey. But I had a spell in England before. It was Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship. And that is Anthony Musaba. Musaba. Musaba. Musaba. I know a lot of people are getting frustrated with me not pronouncing the name properly. I'm sorry. He's trying. He's really trying. We go through some of them beforehand.
18:19I just can't get my tongue to work properly with saying words sometimes. I just can't. I can't even say other words. The effort is there. It's not like for a want of trying and effort. And to be fair, as well, having worked with Ross over the last three years, wow, I can also vouch for the fact that his improvement on pronouncing names is huge, humongous. So, yes, fair play, Ross. Anthony Masaba. Let's talk about him then. This seems to have been one of the main rumours in the last week in that Turkish news outlets have just not stopped with this. It has been 24-7 on social media. Anthony Musaba has not been picked up anywhere outside of Turkey.
19:02I can't even nail down exactly where this came from. It's just been all over the place with this one. The most recent stories that we've seen is that Ipswich have apparently submitted a£10 million bid for the winger. I think that would have£3 million in add-ons. and that talks on the way. Players keen on a move. He's currently at Fenerbahce. There's been other links to different clubs. His agent has apparently been offering Musaba to Hull and Coventry, of course, as well as Ipswich, with two unnamed championship clubs as well. Yeah, currently out in Turkey. He's been in the Netherlands and France and Belgium briefly on loan earlier in his career, then went to Sheffield Wednesday in 2023.
19:4310 goals in 72 championship games for the owls which is a decent return for a team that has certainly had some issues and then moved to turkey in 2025 first joined samson spore and then has spent the last season at fenobacay five goals four assists in the turkish super league last season with fenobacay finishing second that's three points behind galatasaray the eventual champions this hasn't been picked up elsewhere I've heard nothing credible really outside of Turkey with Anthony Musaba I think he's a good player at championship level he's shown that already but he's not someone I'd want to rely on at Premier League level that is a humongous step up I think that Ipswich will certainly be after a right winger they need someone well at least one now with West staying with Casey McAteer with Sindra Vada-Agelli they will need someone who I think can start the vast majority of games.
20:41I just don't think that Masaba fits the bill. And again, not one that I would feel too confident and kind of hanging my hat on the legitimacy of, given that it's just reports from Turkey and they are more often than not quite questionable. Yes, very much so. And so those are the sort of rumours of potential incomings. AJ, there's, of course, a lot of frustration online about Towne not making signings. We've only made technically three, Emerson, of course, and then Chubat, Pond, and Cedric Kipre. But a lot of people are going, it's the 16th of July and Tau have not made signings. How are you feeling about it all?
21:21Because, yeah, we're going into the Premier League. We're going to have to recruit very heavily. We're going to have to be double figures. Of course, they're heading off to Spain next week. Maybe Gary would have maybe liked to maybe a few more in, but I'm sure they're working hard behind the scenes. But they've got to get some business over the line sooner rather than later. Yeah, it's been mixed, hasn't it? I think that I kind of see two different sides of it. On the one hand, I think that you look across the board and teams aren't making that many signings. Coventry have won, don't they? Hull have obviously had to deal with some sales first.
21:57They've had quite a few player links. Hull, they seem to be linked with most of Europe at the moment. And when you look further up, I did a piece yesterday. Sunderland signed their first player ahead of the opener at Portman Road. Thomas Muneer, former PSG and Dortmund defender, that was their first signing of the summer. Most teams have signed someone, but it's probably, I think in almost all cases, under three, or no more than three, rather. So having one through the door, and I'm not counting Kipre and Akpong, we can push that to one side. Having one through the door in Emerson obviously doesn't feel like a significant point to be at, but other teams aren't further ahead.
22:39The World Cup, a lot of teams have only just crashed out within the last week, week and a half, so I think that things will start to speed up now that that's finished and agents can kind of push things on a little bit more. On the flip side, to play devil's advocate and to kind of understand concerns of fans, Ipswich have a huge amount of work to do. You look through, they signed a striker, they're going to need another one, and they're probably going to need a player in pretty much every single position on the pitch. And the Premier League kicks off August 22nd, isn't it, against Sunderland. We're sat here on July 16th, and you want to have players in who are getting ready for preseason and able to get up to speed before them.
23:16And we've got five weeks until the start of the season. So that's really difficult. I would imagine that things will accelerate. I think a lot of the disappointment comes from that. We've had some comments from Mark Ashton and Gary O 'Neill about we're quite far down the line with a few deals and it feels like only one. Have we heard anything else concrete? Nothing's happened on Nick Pope, for example, and some other ones. So I think that's frustrating. I think it's quiet, but a lot of teams are finding it quiet at the moment. A lot of fans are... I suppose the one difference is that Ipswich really need it.
23:51They need it more than Fulham do, than Sunderland do, than Chelsea do, than Arsenal do. So, yeah, let's see. I'm hoping things will explode soon. I'm not concerned at this point, but there's a lot of work still to be done in a short space of time. Yeah, do you know what? I think they're just, the club have gone, no, Ross is off, you know, for a bit. They didn't want to sort of announce signings as I was. Let's sign all the women's plans. Yeah, 12 signings for the Tractor Girls, which was needed for them, but they have not mucked about. Can I put you on the spot, Ross? 12 signings for the tractor girls which one is your favourite which one were you like oh wow that's interesting it's a bit of fun it's a lot from Scotland of course yes probably a boring answer though I think Kit Graham signing permanently was a big I think she was always likely going to sign because she must have made such an impact there was like a an option on that loan deal from Spurs last season for her to potentially sign permanently so it wasn't a surprise that she did sign because we stayed up and stuff But Kenzie Ware as well, a defender.
25:01She had a really good loan spell last year. And I was actually surprised it was a permanent. I thought it could be another loan from Everton. But no, it was a permanent, which is good. But yeah, I tore my head. I cannot name all the Scottish players, but there's a lot of Scottish players. We can probably now put together, potentially, a full 11 of Scottish players. Have they signed a goalkeeper, though? No. So that might be a bit of an issue. but we could definitely do a five-a-side of Scottish players and the new signings, when we get a new goalkeeper through the door, if there is going to be a new track to go goalkeeper, we would be able to have a full shape.
25:36I don't know, maybe a back-up or a third-a-trice. Yes, you never know. But yeah, that's good fun. It's been fun covering a bit of that while you've been off. But yeah, we would, of course, like as well the men's team to go and get some more bodies through the door before that Premier League season kicks off. Yeah, definitely. And yeah, watch the space. so I'm potentially going to be recording a Tractor Girls talk podcast to sort of round up and the fixer dropping soon for the Tractor Girls, of course, for the WSL2, their second campaign under David Wright. So keep an eye on that one. But yeah, AJ, let's talk about some ex-blues.
26:09First of all, Conor Chaplin, just mentioned him briefly. He's signed for Leicester, which was rumoured anyway, and he's signed a three-year deal with them. That pretty much confirms Leicester getting promoted back to the Championship because last time he played, he scored loads of goals in League One and, of course, helped Town get promoted as well. So good move for him. But let's talk about Oivana Zon, my friend, because he's been linked to a move to Southampton. Let's know a little bit more. Yeah, certainly an interesting one where there were parts of me that thought, you know what, I would like to see him back at Ipswich.

26:42He had these kind of – his core characteristics, I thought, were really good, his physicality, his movement around the box, the way that he reads the game. There's a lot I really like about him, like the basics of what he needs to be a striker. He's got, but the big issue is obviously the finishing, the fact that he's missed so many big chances in that Ipswich team. Did obviously also spend a bit of time on the floor, which frustrated fans, but I think it would be fair to say he was poor in front of goal with the moments that he had, and you can't have that in the Premier League. I'm not overly surprised that Ipswich didn't take the punt on bringing him back in the Premier League with no option or obligation to buy him.
27:27I think that kind of got changed in the medical stage last summer when that was initially the talks were ongoing for him. Then, yeah, had a good enough season in the Championship and now more interest from English football. I thought that with a return to Tacoma, who are going to be playing Champions League, I think, football next year, it was always going to be likely that he would move on and they would go and spend big. And I initially thought possibly going back to Spain would be the most likely thing, but it looks like it's got a taste of English football. Southampton, as we said, are the ones who've been linked by Fabrizio Romano, took to a deal kind of around the£8-9 million mark.
28:05Southampton's still in the division because of their expulsion from the playoffs for Spygate. They obviously spied on Ipswich at Eastleigh, so they would have got a good sight of even as on then and in that 2-1 draw at St. Mary's. It wasn't enough to cost Ipswich promotion. They went on to finish second, of course, and Azon could be making his way down to St. Mary's, which would be an interesting one for sure with a team that start on minus four but will still have ambitions of being right in the mix for promotion. I wouldn't necessarily want him as my starting striker. Would he be kind of like the Ross Stewart replacement to support Carl Lahren at£8 million?
28:43That feels quite significant, but maybe that strike unit, him, Laren, somebody else there, Cameron Archer, for example, will be a strong group. So, yeah, I'd be interested. I wish him all the best if he does go to Southampton because I thought he was great as a person, as a character. I think all the town fans kind of fell in love with him a bit as well and I'd love to see him succeed. Yeah, me too. All the best to him, but we need to move on and a bit better striking for the Premier League. But, well, watch his space. AJ, final little mention before we get into any other business from you. But yeah, Kieran Slicker has gone out on loan once more.
29:21He had a really good loan spell in League 2 with Barnett. Really impressed there at the Hive. And he's gone out on loan once again this time to Barnsley in League 1. So a nice little step up for him. And yeah, good loan move to the Tykes. Yeah, so I believe there's a contract clause there that means you can only play for teams that start with BA. Barnett, Barnsley oh wow, it's B-A-R so I believe that when he comes back from his loan next season he will be off to Barcelona this is the perfect step up I think I was disappointed, I wanted him at Cambridge in League 1 to be honest, I think that would have been a good bit of fun but he does go to a team unfortunately for my beloved views that will have higher ambitions, will want to secure or at least be in the mix to secure promotion to the championship and he comes in as their number one, which is really exciting.
30:13They've made a bit of a managerial change with Conor Horahan, ex-Blue, leaving his role as manager and he's been replaced by Daniel Stendhal, I believe, is the former manager. So an interesting one to work under. He's rated so highly at Ipswich. I'm interested to see, again, I've used that term interested about 50 times, but keen to see what Gary O 'Neill will make of him going forward because he was loved by Kieran McKenna and rated really highly by him. So, yeah, we know what Kieran Slicker is. He's a good shot stopper. He's good with the ball at his feet. He's got all of those kind of key traits that you'd want in a young goalkeeper.
30:55And now it's a case for him to go and get some more experience and a full season at League One level should do him the world of good. So, yeah, wish him all the best as well. Yeah, perfect step up for him because if you do a really good season in League 2, you want to make that step up to League 1. I thought Championship maybe could go to a Championship club, but maybe that would be a bit too soon. But, you know, still very young. Goalkeeper is why he's very raw still. He's 23. So hopefully that's a good season at Barnsley. We'll keep you up to speed on that with our loan watch, stuff like that.
31:24But, AJ, another half an hour done and dusted on Transfer Talk. Any other business you want to mention as we wrap up? Will we next time record Transfer Talk? will there be another signing through the door um yeah you know what I've been holding back on it in the world suits but yeah I'll say we'll have another signing through the door I think we'll have a centre back that's what I'm going to say I think that somewhere in the background there's some centre back talks going on that's not any kind of in the no stuff it's just a gut feeling I've been aware I've just come back I've just got that feeling there's a centre back brewing so yeah I'm going to back a centre back to come through obviously as well on centre-backs.
32:03One's just gone out the door. I know you've done that bit with Stu, but Elkenbagger going to Millwall did come as a bit of a surprise for me, going to a championship club, having not really had too much in League One level before, and it felt like quite a high level to go to. But yeah, he'll go there. He'll support Jake Cooper, obviously the club I used to cover, and hope he can develop well. It's good money for Ipswich. I understand it's just under a million pounds in up front and then some slightly ambitious add-ons that could take it to over 2 million. But if he does well, there's no reason why he couldn't reach those clauses that could take it over 2 million and Mill will become a Premier League side.
32:44So, yeah, I hope he does well and obviously hope that Connor Chaplin does well too. It feels like a really strong move for him. I think that it feels like a strong move for Leicester because their dressing room has been an absolute utter disgrace in terms of the personalities they've had. and if there's someone who can come in and set the standards and be a leader it's Conor Chaplin good luck Chaplin I think you've got a lot on your plate to do it at Leicester City but if he can manage that I think he'll be a huge success and with Russell Martin there ex-Norwich boo yeah I do think that they will have every shot of bouncing back up the first time I'm asking okay then my friend well thank you very much for joining me yeah 8th of July was Emerson signing so it's been now over a week this is the last town signing we'll have to watch this space for the next one but thank you very much for listening and watching the latest issues town transfer talk have a good weekend whatever you're doing enjoy the sunshine and we'll be back next time we'll be recording a flagship show which AJ Heathian Spoo will be on they'll be doing a little bit of a mailbag special so tune into that after this show and we'll see you next time bye for now
