And that is you've done enough. You are enough. You are doing an extraordinary job. Christmas has a way, doesn't it of just magnifying everything I think the joy gets bigger the pressure gets bigger the noise gets louder the expectations and there are some of you listening to this right now who feel exhausted some of you might feel unseen maybe you're grieving the Christmas you wanted and you didn't get or maybe you're happy maybe you're happy and sad maybe you're happy and sad and stretched and grateful all at the same time and I've thought really hard about what I want to say to you today and it's just two really simple words and that is thank you thank you for being in the mother kind community and thank you for all the invisible work and the things that you do thank you for the love you keep giving even when you're running on empty thank you for the effort that no one notices and thank you for holding your family even when holding yourself might feel like too much and if today hasn't been perfect then if the kids have melted down and the food burn and if you're missing someone and if you just need five minutes alone I hope that you can hear me there is no perfect Christmas trust me it does not exist even those influencey ones that you see on Instagram they're not real the reality of Christmas and life is that it's messy and it's imperfect and you're doing beautifully within it and as we close this year together I want you to know something from the deepest part of my heart being a mother and becoming a mother is one of the most challenging and transformational things a woman can go through and you are navigating it with courage with compassion and strength even when you don't feel strong.

From the publisher
This is a very special Christmas Day episode, a quiet moment just for you, tucked inside the chaos, the noise, the joy and the overwhelm of today.
If you’re listening to this hiding in the loo for five minutes… stirring gravy… feeding the baby… or sitting in the car for a breather before going back inside — this message is from my heart to yours.
Christmas has a way of amplifying everything. The joy, the expectations, the mental load, the pressure to make it all magical. And so many of us arrive at today feeling stretched, emotional, tired, or holding far more than anyone ever sees.
This episode is my love letter to you - doing the invisible work, the emotional labour, the holding-it-all-together.
A moment to breathe.
A moment to be seen.
A moment to be reminded of your worth.
This is not an episode to learn from or “do” anything with — it’s one to feel. A moment to pause, breathe, and let yourself be held for once.
Wherever you are today, in the noise, the calm, the joy, the heaviness — I am sending you so much love. Merry Christmas
