In short

Two hosts (Jo and Vogue) do a long bonus chat mixing tour logistics, celebrity gossip, and a relationship advice segment about an ex “reading my journals.” They also discuss the Manosphere’s link to the Me Too pendulum, journaling/privacy anxieties, and intrusive thoughts.

Guests

No named guests appear; the “guest” is an email caller to the show (anonymous) asking what to do about a fiancé who has been routinely reading her journals.

Key claims

Manosphere is a response to Me Too; people change opinions quickly; privacy is violated when journals/messages are accessible; if someone reads your diary, it may feel violating but could also be “flattering” depending on context.

Notable examples

“Manosphere Louis Theroux” promo; Top Secret comedy club; US tour sales reports (e.g., Salt Lake City and Las Vegas “zero percent sold”); ex reading journals while planning a wedding; advice to lock down diaries or use digital security.

0:02Vogue Williams:This is a Global Player original podcast.

0:10Vogue Williams:Hello and welcome to the longest bonus we've ever recorded. I hope you enjoy it. This is Joanne. This is Jo and Vogue. We are My Therapist Ghosted Me.

0:25Joanne McNally:I did Clare Byrne Live the other day and she was saying that you were coming in to talk to her. Oh, you look like you don't know you're talking to Claire Burnley. I do. I do. Yeah. Is this about the Paddy's Day thing? Yeah. Hang on a second. I don't know. She hadn't a fucking clue now. No, I did.

0:42Vogue Williams:I've got a few things on. I've got a few bits and bobs.

0:45Joanne McNally:Yeah.

0:46Vogue Williams:It will be. I love Claire Burnley.

0:48Joanne McNally:But I was like, Vogue is so gas. I suppose we're both like booked and busy and working and whatever. But like, I was like, I don't know. I was like, why is she coming in? She goes, I'm not sure actually. I was like, she could literally be announcing a fucking Netflix film like you just wouldn't know what she's up to well I'd put on a three arena myself

1:08Vogue Williams:would you

1:14Vogue Williams:anyway I'm not doing it now I've pushed live at the Apollo I'm not actually doing it for a while because I'm doing Taskmaster first so I want to just get the Taskmaster filming out out of the way

1:48Joanne McNally:your love always be in Top Secret because I don't get listed in Top Secret anymore because obviously I'm trying to sell a tour so you're like you know you don't list yourself in the clubs but they do a silhouette of you and they make it very clear that it's you they're like as seen on Taskmaster from Dublin host of my therapist cast me Mark makes it like clear but I was like I cannot wait to see your silhouette in Top Secret I'm like wow off she goes there she is stepping on more toes a tight 25 a tight 25 in Top Secret

2:22Vogue Williams:that's all I have for you right now currently just working up the old tour. Yeah, you're working off the tour. You're doing a whip. You're doing a work in progress. I can't wait to see it. I'd pass away. I'd rather take to the grave than take to the stage and do top secret.

2:38Joanne McNally:Well, I don't know why you're, oh yes, that top secret. I don't know why you're saying that because we're chatting about doing another tour. So, I mean, you...

2:45Vogue Williams:Ah, no, I do another tour with you because as I've said before, I could die in my hole and it wouldn't matter. I could just walk off and just leave you to it. You trust me. And I trust you.

2:56Joanne McNally:And that's very important on the stage. You have to trust you're on stage. Not like that time when Spenny just stood in front of me.

3:03Vogue Williams:Remember? It was so bad. Spenny literally just basically, I was just background noise to him.

3:09Joanne McNally:Yeah. He was like, in the words of our great philosopher, Marti McCutcheon, he was like, this is my moment. It's my perfect moment with you. And I was like, where's Vogue? I haven't seen her in ages.

3:26Vogue Williams:And anytime I did try and peer out

3:27Joanne McNally:He just moved

3:28Vogue Williams:It was like he sensed

3:29Joanne McNally:I was trying to come out I was like There's an Afghan hound Trying to creep out the back there And he's not letting it happen He's not letting it happen

3:37Vogue Williams:Oh the poor little shite And he came off stage And he's like That was brilliant And I was like You're dead

3:43Joanne McNally:Yeah yeah yeah I know yeah He got caught up in the moment Happens to the best of us Hang on sorry One second Bagel is at door Bagel is at door It's a fun stripper's name

4:09Vogue Williams:in case he leaves hi just coming now two secs 20 minutes or so then I'll be yeah

4:19Joanne McNally:okay sorry I'm glad we're not on Patreon imagine charging people for this absolute horse shit us just talking about our lunch or this.

4:26Vogue Williams:I, my ears perk up when you're filming something and I hear what someone's had for breakfast.

4:32Joanne McNally:I'm like, great. I love hearing that. Folk, folk, folk, focus, focus. Yeah. I don't want you to ask me how I got to this point, but I was chatting to my Chachi BT the other night and I put in, I was, look, I have a lot of time on my own. Drag names for me and then I asked it for drag names for you.

4:51Vogue Williams:Oh, fantastic. This is great use of time.

4:54Joanne McNally:I've got a great one for you.

4:56Vogue Williams:Okay.

4:58Joanne McNally:Vogue villains.

4:59Vogue Williams:Vogue villains. I think I could be sexier. I'm sorry if that's what you think of me. Oh, well that's what Chachi B.T. says. This is what I mean about Chachi B.T. It's like when people...

5:10Joanne McNally:It doesn't like you, I can tell you. It was very mean about you.

5:13Vogue Williams:Did you Chachi B.T. me and ask about me?

5:17Joanne McNally:Yeah, I said drag names for me. and no my drag names for me was Joanna Wright or something and then for you oh that's a good one see I like that well I came up with one myself which was Joanna Restraining Order yeah but it had Vogue Villains for you I thought it was kind of sexy no that's it Vogue Villains but there was other ones but that was the one that stuck out to me no you're not thrilled I think I'll make it my own one I'll come back I'll come back in the main fine fine fine give me a moment I'll tell Chachi Beauty you've refused the offer Jo I'll try you next I'll try you for next Tell Jatchi Biti It's doing a bad job

5:52Vogue Williams:I think you're wearing Sean John You know you're not allowed To wear that anymore Sorry Did I say Sean John No it's House of Sunny Oh thank god Who's Sean John John's just in the hotel room Playing Gary Glitter On the piano Wearing Sean John

6:10Joanne McNally:Head to toe And P Diddy Whatever

6:12Vogue Williams:Yeah it's P Diddy's brand Who's that out out

6:16Joanne McNally:I bought this jacket off a man called Jimmy Savile. I don't know, he's passed on it. It was a probate sale.

6:22Vogue Williams:We know, you just took a box of his stuff. You're like, I'll give you 200 quid. That's where all the shades are coming from. I'll say it again.

6:29Joanne McNally:Say what you want about Jimmy. Great style.

6:32Vogue Williams:Did anybody, speaking of Jimmy Savile, did anyone do their homework

6:36Joanne McNally:and watch Manosphere Louis Theroux? No, but you did say it was for the man, not the bonus. So I haven't watched it yet, but I'm very intrigued by the size of the man's arm in the promo shot. I'm expecting hot sexy scenes Louis's kind of trapped his head I love Louis I love him I like Louis

6:55Vogue Williams:I like him a lot I just think he's so he just he riles them up but not even meaning to because they're just like I'm just going to say one thing about it we'll talk about it properly on the main because you will watch it I will of course I just felt like such a I looked at them and I was like I would be ashamed to be your mother and I don't think that very often about people and it is just like I would feel like what the fuck have I done where like sorry I shouldn't say I would be ashamed to be their mother because it's not their mother's fault that they have turned out the way they have I actually felt sorry for them because I just saw them

7:33Joanne McNally:as so pathetic well

7:35Vogue Williams:no it's not

7:36Joanne McNally:more on Friday now I look I'm you know they're out to play devil's advocate and your man in America now wait Lucy you're a man in America oh no Good God. But I'm saying, having not even watched it, and obviously as someone with a degree in sociology, did I mention that? No, you've actually never mentioned that. I'm not joking. You said arts. I don't know. Sociology. Studies society. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No. Yeah, yeah. What I'm saying is, the manosphere is a direct response to the Me Too movement. And it's like, remember, you know they're always talking about this pendulum and it goes really far right, then it goes really far left and it's a response to that.

8:17Joanne McNally:I'm not saying it's right or wrong. I'm saying this hasn't come from nowhere. But it's also... And I look forward to watching.

8:24Vogue Williams:I think it's also like Louis looks into all their backgrounds and how they're brought up and stuff like that. And there's always like common denominators between all of them.

8:33Joanne McNally:So you can...

8:35Vogue Williams:It's just... Anyway, let's talk about it on the main.

8:38Joanne McNally:I always think there's... When I look at people, I'm like, what brought them to that point? That's what I... that's what I find really interesting. It's not the point I find interesting. It's like, what brought them there? Anyway, look, I'll do my homework. We'll discuss it on the mag.

8:50Vogue Williams:When you think about yourself, though, and some things that you've done and stuff, it's like, how did I think that was okay?

8:56Joanne McNally:Stop. I know. Yeah, I know. I could not agree more. It's wild. I think I've become a different person every four days.

9:05Vogue Williams:Yeah, me too. I hate when people ask you as well. It's like, so any regrets? And I'm like, there's no point in starting this. No, I know. There's quite the list. And I just think it's better to say to yourself, do you know what? It's fine. You don't need to regret it. Just forget about it.

9:20Joanne McNally:I am very clear. Especially when you're doing a significant amount of interviews, you can lose track of what you've said before, what you've said previously. And like I say, because I do change my opinion on things quite a lot, I'm quite suggestible. And I'll read an article and I'll think that. And then I'll read another article and think that. And I'm always very honest in interviews. I say, look, I'm probably a raving hypocrite. like don't hold me to anything oh gosh come on everybody says things are hypocritical yeah but you have to flag it because then people are like oh hold on you said this thing last week you're like well yeah I was a different person last week

9:53Vogue Williams:yeah that was Joanne from four days ago yeah exactly

9:56Joanne McNally:I don't know

9:57Vogue Williams:what the fuck was she talking about

9:58Joanne McNally:yeah I was an incel then and now I've changed because I got the ride and now I'm very feminist again just I would say like look I'm not going to recommend I'm not going to tell you how to mother but I would say please don't ever buy Theodore Otto gaming chairs.

10:16Vogue Williams:I was in a gaming chair yesterday. I was filming a thing and they had three gaming chairs and I'm like, these, it wasn't even comfortable. I felt like I was on a, what's it called, where they strap you on?

10:30Joanne McNally:Roller coaster.

10:30Vogue Williams:A stretcher. Lobotomy. Oh yeah. A stretcher. And I said, these aren't even comfortable. They set you back quite a few, Bob. No, my kids will never get a gaming chair. T's not, he started getting into what's it called Roblox and then everyone was saying that people were grooming kids on it so I stopped him using that and now what he does is which I find even worse he sits and like this is if he's really lucky so like on a Friday night I'll let him watch like half an hour of this he goes on onto YouTube and he watches this like 40 year old man playing Roblox talking about it and I'm like it's like you're just sitting watching somebody else do it and he loves it

11:08Joanne McNally:oh god this is giving in cell it's giving in cell Vogue I'm concerned I'm very concerned

11:13Vogue Williams:I had their parent teacher meeting yesterday and it was top marks and I skipped in there skipped in there because I knew it would be top marks because my mum used to go and then she came home crying one year and I knew it hadn't gone well and she never went back she said that was I'm not doing that again she said I have to go around to every teacher and have them say the most awful things yeah And then she came up crying Was this about you or Amber? About me And then you know Because you know you're like You know they're going And you're like But I knew when she was going I was like This is gonna be bad news This is not good Like usually I'd be like What did they say?

11:53Vogue Williams:And I was like I remember being upstairs in my room And watching her drive Back in the driveway Being like Oh no it's over for me now

11:59Joanne McNally:Yeah I love that Sandra Instead of Sandra being like I need to kind of work on Vogue And get her up to a certain She was like Fuck that I'm not going back Let her do what she wants I'm not listening to this shit again also I'm actually not worried about Theodore Otto at all if anyone's going to get deeply involved in the manosphere it's going to be Gigi so that's who I would look out for that's who I would look out for yeah Incel 101 I can see her fucking puppeteering them all

12:26Vogue Williams:puppeteering them all yeah she is she's a popular girl RGG so yeah she could kind of sway anybody

12:41Joanne McNally:My American tour, I mean, it sounds lofty, but like, I guess that is what it is, went on sale. The day of the sale, they send you through the, like, sales reports at the end of the day. Is it Yeovily? It's Yeovily. It makes Yeovily look like I saw that Radio City.

12:59Vogue Williams:I love that you have this. You can still be humble. She can still have an arena on sale, two arenas on sale, And she still manages to be.

13:08Joanne McNally:Oh, no, nothing. Nothing will soften your cough than a sales report from America, I can tell you. A voice box left. Las Vegas, zero percent sold. Salt Lake City, zero percent sold. And of course, I'm there on to Tommy. Then Tommy Puccini, he's my American agent. I'm like, why the fuck am I going to Salt Lake City anyway? I was like oh no it's Winnipeg all over again but for two months not big with the Mormons not big with the Mormons did you know that Jo did you know that there were Mormons in Salt Lake City

13:43Vogue Williams:well the Mormons of Salt Lake City yeah because of the the musical because of Book of Mormon oh yeah

13:49Joanne McNally:well oh yes well Tommy was like Joanne you haven't said anything about them so anyway real quick real quick real quick you can speed this up Jo or you can cut it because you know I don't listen to the podcast because I hate my own voice imagine we just weren't we just weren't selling her tour we just kept putting it out the whole time imagine I wasn't on the podcast imagine it was just you guys

14:11Joanne McNally:Jo let's edge her out yeah quick one quick one I'm just going to fly through these towns and cities and if any of these appeal to you or you know anyone near them Seattle, Portland San Fran, Sacramento Denver, Salt Lake City Las Vegas, Las Vegas Phoenix, Vancouver Houston, Austin Austin, Dallas, Chicago Washington, Philadelphia Philadelphia, Philadelphia Boston, Toronto

14:31Vogue Williams:that was the worst selling I've ever heard but okay

14:35Joanne McNally:look I don't want to monopolise the podcast by selling tickets

14:39Vogue Williams:do you remember the woman who came to our gig in was it Toronto well there was more than one woman thank god go on and she brought her mother in the urn

14:49Joanne McNally:why didn't you leave with the woman who brought her mother in the urn Vogue then I would have remembered

14:52Vogue Williams:well we didn't there wasn't that many people we didn't know that many people who would come backstage but Joanne would just like when we were on tour would land me with stuff and then they would be the most fascinating stories and I'd be like, yeah, yeah, they can come back. Oh yeah,

15:07Joanne McNally:I was like,

15:07Vogue Williams:can she come back? I'd be like, my auntie sister's coming back to mine and she was like, there's a woman with her mom in her nurse and she's come back.

15:18Vogue Williams:My auntie sister, that's my other auntie, sorry.

15:21Joanne McNally:Like the dark situation. She was so nice, wasn't she? She was really nice and she brought us

15:25Vogue Williams:funny gifts.

15:27Joanne McNally:Yeah, she did. Was it her mother? or did she give us her mother in the end?

15:30Vogue Williams:No, she didn't give us the mother. She gave us the most enormous bag of weed jellies I've ever seen in my entire life. She gave Joanne uppers and me downers. Yeah. We couldn't even take them home with a terrible waste. I did. Stuffed them into my... Did you? No, you didn't. Nature's pocket. No, you did not. Stuffed them in nature's pocket. What does that mean?

15:54Joanne McNally:Think about it. Penula? Yeah. Nature's pocket. you've got a pouch down there

16:00Vogue Williams:I can't Joanne don't call it a pouch you don't want to be stopped at customs when you go to the US I'm joking oh she's not getting in she's not getting in

16:11Joanne McNally:what are you on about I'm getting in I'm performing for Trump in the White House fucking thrilled

16:15Vogue Williams:someone slagged my someone was slagging my mole again how unusual like find a better thing to slag me about so she was slagging me about and what I like to do is go on to their profile sorry

16:25Joanne McNally:slag her about the fact she wasn't mature enough to skip transition here That's what I'd be focusing on.

16:32Joanne McNally:So I went and looked at her profile. That was a real singer for me now, I have to say. I love that. I've thought about it loads.

16:39Vogue Williams:But I went and looked at her profile because usually I'd be like, oh, and then I saw she was a Trump supporter. And I was about to mention something about that. And I said, no, I might go to America soon. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Less is more there.

16:52Joanne McNally:Less is more.

16:52Vogue Williams:Have you seen it about the Dubai influencers where supposedly Dubai are telling the influencers to say any nice things. Do you reckon that's true though?

17:01Joanne McNally:I don't. Or is that, like, I mean, really? It's a nice bit of gossip to hear all the same. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I agree, I agree. But you know what's so funny? Like, so people are so anti the influencer community in Dubai. But you have to also remember, Dubai is basically like creating these packages for influencers to go out. Very appealing packages. and they're kind of enticing them out there. No tax. They're offering them like good quality jobs, all this shit. My point is, don't hate the player,

17:32Vogue Williams:hate the game.

17:33Joanne McNally:I really feel like

17:34Vogue Williams:we should look into a no tax situation over here in the UK. I think it would be lovely. I mean, there's no end. That's outside the box thinking.

17:42Joanne McNally:You want me to... No tax. Hear me out. Hear me out. No tax.

17:48Vogue Williams:No tax. No tax. And hang on. Wait for this. Better health care.

17:56Vogue Williams:lower energy costs off she goes to number 10 Dowling Street do you know what I keep getting invited there and I don't know the etiquette around it I'm like I don't think I should go I think I'll get in trouble I've said no like three times but you know what if I'm going to say no I have to have an invite to somewhere in Ireland like why haven't I got

18:19Joanne McNally:I want to be at the party As one of your closest friends And as someone who is in business with you I would please ask Before you land into 10 Dowling Street That you would confer with me Dowling, she keeps calling it Dowling Street What's it called? Downing Downing, Downing Whatever, whatever, whatever I'm never going there, okay As someone who's in a business with you Can we just remember how much Shit Paul Mescook offers saying He preferred London over Dublin If you want to run this podcast When did he say that? He didn't say that in the same quick fire round that Jessie Buckley said she preferred cats.

18:53Joanne McNally:I'm pretty sure it was on the Hammond presser. They said Dublin or London and he went maybe London and of course Ireland erupted.

19:00Vogue Williams:Sometimes I say I'm going home when I'm flying back to England but I don't mean it. It's an accident. It's a slip of the tongue.

19:06Joanne McNally:It's flying home to Ireland. Don't worry. This is why I have you on Find My Friends and if I ever find you near 10 Downing Street I will fucking kick off because on that.

19:15Vogue Williams:I know the sensitivities of this well enough that I received an invitation for the two of you to Downing Street and I turned it down before I even spoke to you. They can't get enough! Well, they tried to swing it with an Irish thing last time. They were doing the St. Patrick's Day thing in 10 Downing Street and I said, oh no, no, no. Hold on a second.

19:32Joanne McNally:Hold on a second.

19:33Vogue Williams:Was it free booze and canapes? Almost certainly.

19:36Joanne McNally:Jo, please. I should be informed of these invitations, please. Maybe I want to go to 10 Downing Street. Throw my way around. Well, you should go. You should get a picture out the front. Get a picture with the cat. they have a cat there no bring one of Gerry Adams ducks do you know the little ducks that Gerry Adams uses what the fuck

19:54Vogue Williams:I saw Gerry Adams in the press I'm like they're still flogging this IRA stuff do we not know is this not a thing I'm like obviously sorry

20:04Joanne McNally:sorry sorry sorry did you say they're still flogging this IRA stuff

20:07Vogue Williams:he's still going into going into course being like oh I wasn't in it it's like oh come on Gerry

20:13Joanne McNally:come on okay no sorry you mean flogging the fact that he's not in us.

20:18Vogue Williams:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sorry, sorry, sorry. He keeps saying he's not, and I'm like, and then I saw he was in court like last week, and I'm like, sorry.

20:25Joanne McNally:Yeah, yeah, yeah.

20:26Vogue Williams:He's still, denial is a river in Egypt, Jesus Christ, and it is a long river of denial. It's a very clear

20:34Joanne McNally:collab. It's a very clear collab.

20:41Vogue Williams:Hi, Joanne, Folk and Jo, please keep me in on. I just felt compelled to weigh in on the old ex-boyfriends riding letters issue. I love a callback. Bloody honest. I had an experience a couple of years ago where my ex got in touch after we'd broken up. Now can I say the last time I'd seen him was at Dun Laoghaire Station two weeks after we'd broken up. Kissing a girl goodbye. Ow. Fair enough. I was more pissed off that he transgressed the North slash South Dublin border. Him being such... I could have had a run at that maybe. Yeah. I was more pissed off that he'd transgressed the north-south Dublin border.

21:20Vogue Williams:Him being such a staunch northsider. Yes. I get this email. He talks about the breakup, etc. Also how crushing it must have been for me to see him with another girl. I broke up with him six months after emotionally detaching. He went on to say he'd never kissed other girls while we were together. I hadn't thought he had before this, but well, why would he have mentioned it otherwise?

21:43Joanne McNally:Because he's lying.

21:44Vogue Williams:Anyway, it's okay. I've moved on to my next emotionally unavailable partner. Things have been going reasonably well. Oh no. Until I found out he's been reading my journals routinely for the last few months. I'm actually pretty boring.

22:03Joanne McNally:Oh yeah, fine. Okay.

22:04Vogue Williams:So I don't think he found much, but I've been really angry and sad about the whole thing. That's bizarre.

22:11Joanne McNally:Okay. Continue.

22:13Vogue Williams:The whole thing has given me an ugh feeling. The problem is we're due to get married at the end of the year. And I've asked my nieces to be flower girls. This whole thing has really given me pause for thought. But obviously, I don't want to let anyone down, least of all my nieces. What should I do? I love your opinions. Oh, God.

22:30Joanne McNally:Well, you can't let the nieces down. You can't let the nieces down. That's what happened with my first marriage. I didn't want to let the nieces down. They're probably, they're excited. They're probably 10, 11. They're probably on the pen getting ready for their big day. You cannot let them down. You bought the dresses, you bought the flower curtains. Yeah, you can't let these children do.

22:50Vogue Williams:Now, what I will say, okay, just be honest, right? Okay, and I know this is a terrible, terrible thing to say. But like, if Spenny had a diary beside the bed, I just, I'd really struggle not to read it. I have to be honest. And I value his privacy and I respect it, but not that much. It would be like a tick. It would be like if I kept seeing Blue Raz vapes all over the house. I'd eventually have to have one. I wouldn't be able to hold off even though I don't vape anymore. It'd be like the book over there. Joanne, you'd read it. If you came in and you saw Spenny Journal, you'd read it.

23:31Joanne McNally:Like, listen, you value Spencer's privacy until the privacy is sitting at the bedside table and then you'll read the privacy. That's just ultimately what it is.

23:40Vogue Williams:I like the privacy if it's locked in his pocket. that's privacy for me

23:44Joanne McNally:I think the lesson here is to move on to a digital diary I would say and like lock it away I think most people but you're never even sometimes do you know what I had the maddest thought recently it's actually not that mad so I've started journaling right and I you know journaling my thoughts and ideas and kind of grounding myself a little bit but then I started thinking if I got knocked over by a bus tomorrow So say I'm like giving out about my mom I don't know, whatever I'd read them Your name has been redacted Your name has been redacted Full Epstein files That fucking bitch But I was like Imagine when you I think the same about my WhatsApp messages Like when you pass on Who gets these things And then I start writing really performatively Like everyone's fab Everyone's fab Joe looks great at the moment what a kind man because you're like what if everyone reads this stuff and I also think it's no one's business but the human condition is we are nosy bastards I also think and this is a really toxic thing to say but I'm going to say it I think I think I'd be flattered that he cared

25:03Vogue Williams:I'm so mad

25:04Joanne McNally:between me and you this is bad I think I'd be flattered like now I've had a run of kind of not great relationships of late but I think I'd be flattered that he cared I know I just don't

25:20Vogue Williams:You'll be a different person

25:21Joanne McNally:in four days That's it Yeah in four days time I'll speak fluent Mandarin and I'll be like I just

25:27Vogue Williams:I just think I'd get over it I would and I know I know that it's like an evasion of privacy and it's totally different if spinning around mine if he caught me reading his it's different to if I got him reading mine but I do think

25:39Joanne McNally:what the fuck is going to be in history ate a chicken breast around 5k who cares just all of his

25:48Vogue Williams:just all of his running times I remember he took up golf and my mum was like how did you play today and he went into detail of 18 holes and my mum was like Spencer that's not how it's you tell me about your best hole I don't want to know about 18

26:02Joanne McNally:I mean 18 that's a laborious story he tells me about his laps

26:07Vogue Williams:his laps tells me about the kilometers and I'm like fucking hell

26:11Joanne McNally:when I think about that woman and the diary thing my brain flicks through all the relationships I've had and each one of them I would have a different response if they read my diary do you know what I mean like so every relationship was so different every diary entry at the time of the relationship would have been so different I've gone out with men who I was like do you even know we're going out so in that regard I'd be like kind of flattered they read it I've gone out with other guys where I'm like I can't fucking breathe in this I'm gonna suffocate and that if they read my diary I would have been like going mad so it's really hard to tell but like she's marrying him

26:48Vogue Williams:you can't just not marry him because of that well you can not marry him because of that if it's really freaked you out but I think that you just need to have a proper conversation but I'm just saying that wouldn't be a massive deal breaker to me because I if I am being very honest I wouldn't I'm a terrible person

27:02Joanne McNally:there's an argument if you're gonna be a big diary writer there is an argument for marrying someone with literacy issues. You're going to have to go lock and key. Like you need to put this, you need to lock this stuff down. And for anyone who would be able to look at that piece of joy and not read it,

27:21Vogue Williams:well done. I think that you're fantastic.

27:23Joanne McNally:Great restraint. And also when you are writing those things, like I find when I take pen to paper, it's usually when I have something on my mind, I'm kind of stressed. I may be a little overworked or I feel like someone's not being very nice to me or I feel misunderstood. And so it's, I don't, I'm not writing positive stuff necessarily. It's more, you know, your daily struggles and like people wrecking your head and stuff. So it can kind of be an unfair representation of how you feel about things. But like if your diary is just sitting around and you're living with a man who can read, I mean, come on.

27:57Joanne McNally:Yeah. Am I victim blaming, Joe? You're looking at me. I think you probably felt just short of victim blaming there. Would you read Josie's diary?

28:05Vogue Williams:I wouldn't. And she doesn't use one. Of course he's going to say that on the pod. Come on.

28:10Joanne McNally:No, no, no. He's going to use that. He's going to say, because we work him so hard, that's what he's going to say, that he doesn't have the energy to read. I know he's going to do it. He's going to throw it back in her face. He's going to make it our fault.

28:18Vogue Williams:Just don't have the time.

28:19Joanne McNally:Don't have the time, of course. Don't have the time. Yeah, yeah. I knew that was coming. I knew that was coming.

28:27Joanne McNally:That's it for this week. I'm going to have to dash. I have a diary entry to put in. I'm just going to leave my intrusive, open, vulnerable thoughts by the side of my bed and let strangers read them.

28:40Vogue Williams:I look forward to reading them. Thank you.

28:43Joanne McNally:Oh, well then I'm going to edit the whole... I'm going to have to do a serious edit on this. Hold on. Not a c**t. Not a c**t.

28:55Joanne McNally:Where's that tip X? What a bummer.

29:06Vogue Williams:This has been a Global Player original production.
