In short

The hosts riff on relationship betrayal and accountability, then pivot to men lactating, fashion/brand ambassadorship, and viral news about an airline passenger duct-taped to a seat. They also answer a listener email about a woman who slept with a married colleague and later discovers he’s love-bombing another woman.

Guests

No named guests appear. The episode is hosted by Joanne, Vogue, and Jo (plus “Joe” referenced as a producer/host).

Key claims

Men can lactate only in rare circumstances (hormone prolactin is usually missing). The married colleague is framed as a “serial fuckboy/covert narcissist,” and advice centers on staying out of it or warning the new partner, not the wife.

Notable examples

the listener’s 1am Teams call with a “hot female colleague,” the duct-taped racist/homophobic passenger, and the “Saudi billionaire seeking a second wife” post.

0:02This is a global production. That woman knows he's married. She knows she's playing with fire. She's old enough and bold enough to be at that, so I would leave her to it. And if she gets her heart broken, it's just what's going to happen. In this situation, I think I would say it to her. I'm not judging you for what has happened because these things happen.

0:21Joanne McNally:He's just a horny, pathetic child.

0:28Can you hear that noise when I turn them off?

0:31Joanne McNally:We can hear it but it's not offensive I'm not going to tell you not to pump that would be that would be wrong This is the noise of my life now Are we on? Joe Are we recording? We are on This is all being recorded Joe Why didn't you tell me my sunglasses on I can't let people see my raw eyes I beg your pardon You looked like you had pink eye yesterday. I know, yeah. I was wearing pink eyeliner for the, we're in the middle of filming series two for Unacceptable and I had pink eyeliner on which I found hard to get off. So yes, I looked like I had pink eye the next day. Vogue, you're pumping, obviously, breast milk because you've had a shot.

1:14Joanne McNally:Yes. When I say that noise reminds me so much of our last tour because on our last tour, Vogue was pumping breast milk for our... friends, our gay friends who had a child together, men who couldn't, well obviously they're titless and they struggle to lactate because they're lazy, frankly. Yeah, they did. They are lazy. And so was every time it was a brrr, brrr, brrr, the whole tour. You know when you're like I'll do that for you. I think I said it when I was pissed. I was like, I'll get you off. I'll pump and give you breast milk and then I was like, oh, God. I was still feeding Otto at the same time.

1:56So I was like constantly had something in my breath.

1:59Joanne McNally:It was nuts. Yeah, I'm triggered. I have just Googled very quickly, just out of interest, can men lactate? And in unusual or extreme circumstances, it's very rare, but they can. We, men, we have all of the bits that mean that we can. We just don't have the hormones. What about that? It's true. Men can have breasts and men can get breast cancer. I know a man who very sadly passed away of breast cancer. Are we talking about like cis men? Yeah. I was biologically born male and I have all of the hardware to lactate. Have you ever actually... I find that offensive, Jo. Well, look, don't hate the play.

2:42Joanne McNally:I hate the game, mate. Well, then I hate the game. Stop trying to take lactation off us, Jo. You are... I'm not. Sorry, read that out to me. Explain. It's not to take. I already have it. Explain to me how you can lactate. Men, this is from Forbes, men have rudimentary mammary glands, ducts and nipples because these structures form in the womb before sex differentiation occurs. Milk production requires the hormone prolactin and men possess the hardware but they don't have that hormone. Oh, yeah, of course. Well, because you know that you all start as women. That's why you have nipples. and then the chromosomes kick in and then you get your tiny penises.

3:25Joanne McNally:But you start... So we are the greater gender. We are the main event and then it kind of veers off and mutates into men. Yeah? Yes. That's the crack. Would you get your nipple pierced, Jo? How do you feel about it? I think I'd find it a bit irritating under the clothing. I don't think that looks... Now, no offence to any nipple piercers, but I just wouldn't... I don't think I'd like, like, Spenny toys with the idea of getting, I don't know if he's joking or not, but getting his ear re-pierced, like he has it pierced. He used to wear a little feather in his ear, and I'm like, I don't know if, I just don't know if this is serious, or, because I can't, we'll have to get divorced.

4:04And, like, I can't write on the divorce paper, he wanted to wear a feather earring. I can't.

4:10Joanne McNally:Sorry, Vogue, did you say that Spencer had a feather earring? Yeah. Have you seen old pictures of Spencer? Have you seen even... I saved that man. Like, how do you not know that? Have you not seen the clothes he used to wear when we met? First of all, when we met. He had like 14 gilets. Honestly, he had 14 gilets, 12 of which were tweed. And remember those hats he used to wear? Remember? And now he's waltzing around in... Well, he's walking around in legging shorts today. And I just... That for me is a lot, but... You can bring the horse to water, but you can't make a drink. I would say this across the board and I'm sorry to our three straight male listeners I have dressed and saved every single man I've ever gone out with or even had a situationship with I've helped them with their fashion and then sent them off back into the scene well dressed some of them fell back off the wagon listen there's only so much you can do do you know what I mean there's only so much you can do if you're a grown man who wants to wear Crocs on the weekend there's nothing I can do if I'm not a CrossFit anymore My cousin's husband Hi Barbara wears Crocs and shorts every single day of the year rain, hail or shine that man has a Croc wardrobe like you've never seen But you know what the gas thing is it's about the attitude I am a proud owner of a pair of Pringle crocs as you know folk, you've seen them they have little beards on them and the Pringle man is on them and they've like little charms of tiny Pringles and stuff hanging off them, it shouldn't work but it does, does it Joanne I have seen I don't know if we can go that far now, come on we've all seen the Pringles crocs Folks, sorry, I've shown you those crocs and said it works, doesn't it?

6:18Joanne McNally:And you've said, yeah. No, that is, you've made that up. You've totally made that up in your head to suit yourself. You said, yeah, it really works. The Pringles bring out your ankles. You said that to me. Yeah, but did she say yeah or did she sort of go, yeah? Yeah. She was pregnant at the time. I mean, no one took her seriously. She was saying all sorts of mad shit.

6:43Joanne McNally:I took that. You seemed to really like them when I wore them. Oh yeah, like the summer sandals. Yeah, that's how I liked them the same level as the summer sandals, which I actually miss. You know how much we love a bargain? Yeah. Because we're on YouTube now, so like I'm trying to add in visuals, but also I really want to show this jacket. For the audio listener, what are you wearing? I'm wearing a banging leather jacket. Guess how much? 30 quid. Okay, realistically, 80. Is it real leather? I've remembered why I can't play this game, because... Oh, she's annoying. I have to win. No, you go annoyingly low.

7:28Joanne McNally:I want to win. Sorry, Danny Zuko. What was it? $150. It was£60 in the local charity shop, Jo. What's the brand? There is no brand. is it now is it leather or pleather pleather's not a bargain for 60 pounds sorry i ran in there and i was like this looks like palenciaga and you're one in the i tried it on and you're the one in the shop was like oh my god and we were like screaming about it and she was like it's only gone on the shelf and i was like i can't believe i've been so lucky and now you've come back with 30 pounds is it real leather it's yeah yeah it actually says on the thing genuine leather So that's surely...

8:09Is this the same place that you bought the Pringle Crocs? She is getting away with murder in that place.

8:15Joanne McNally:Actually, Pringle Crocs were sent to me by the brand. You're not the only one smashing it out there in brand land, Vogue.

8:24Joanne McNally:I'm also... I actually have a bone to pick with a brand. Who is the brand ambassador, like not being paid or anything, but like just in general life? I buy my own butter. But who is the brand ambassador that doesn't get paid of Kerrygold? Me. I always talk about Kerrygold and I eat it all the time. I saw them sending out people butter dishes. I didn't get a butter dish. And they were amazing. Like better than the Pringle Crocs. They were like these Kerrygold special butter dishes. And Imo sent it to me and was like, oh, did you get one of these? And I was like, no, that's embarrassing that I've had to send that from Imo.

9:02I know.

9:03Joanne McNally:So I don't, I'm on the lure pack now. I wouldn't give a shit about a butter dish. What I would say is Kerrygold did this amazing collaboration with the bag designer, Jo. I will ask you to fact check if you don't mind. She does it. And she brought out these Diamante Kerrygold bags and they were unbelievable. But sure, brands wouldn't piss on me if I was on fire. You'd want to see my stylist who I'm working with for unacceptable, her trying to get brands to send me clothes. Genuinely. They're like sending me bags of coal. Don't tell me I'm not the brand ambassador. Isn't it amazing? Considering this is an audible platform, I would like to say that Vogue has now whipped out a Diamante Kerrygold handbag.

9:48Clutch. And it's from a designer called Maya Grisham. And I don't think she did a collab with Kerrygold. She does these really cool bags. She's got a Tato bag. She's got like a Guinness, a pint of Guinness. she's loads of really cool stuff but I don't think it's a collab I think that she just does it herself oh she just does it is that not the coolest bag

10:07Joanne McNally:sorry Vogue just as an aside once again Seattle if anyone is floating around knows anyone I've really dropped the ball on Seattle I thought Seattle's I think they'd like you there as well if they just gave you a chance I think I've sold less tickets than I did the last time I did Seattle which is highly irregular like usually you always go up but I really fucked it I love that Joanne can be so she's sold out three, three arenas but she's still able to be humble and admit Seattle her feet are still nicely on the ground aren't they? yeah America's keeping you on your toes one thing I will say is this American tour has been hashtag humbling that much I will say my feet aren't even on the ground they're in middle earth at this stage I would say They've actually gone below the ground.

11:01Joanne McNally:Oh, yeah. Gotcha. But listen, America, you know what I mean? It's not easy, especially if you don't tell anyone you're going. You'll have a nice time. The great chicken wings over there and loads of ranch dressing. 22nd, I fly on Monday. This is out Wednesday, so I'll be... Oh, you'll be there. Oh, no, sorry. The gig will be done for fuck's sake. Oh, well, it was a really good plug anyway. Thanks for not coming, everyone. Just for the other show. To the seven people who've bought tickets, thanks a million for supporting and I'm sure we had a lovely time. We'll find out how it went on Friday. Exactly, perfect.

11:45So I saw this thing online. It was from a mystery Saudi billionaire. He's looking for a wife. He put up a post and it said, it's to a mysterious Instagram account. which has ties to a Saudi billionaire. A highly educated Saudi Arabian billionaire owner of a prominent shopping malls and major business interest in Saudi Arabia and internationally is seeking a suitable lady for a second marriage. He is currently married and his first wife is living. Very important to point that out. The prospective bride will be provided with a private villa, luxury car and a high-end lifestyle. Sorry, I know men...

12:30You don't have to put all the work in either

12:32Joanne McNally:because someone else has taken half the heat for you. I know men notoriously move on very quickly, but it's unusual you find them publicly advertising while the first wife is still alive. It kind of concerns me the way he says it as well. First wife is... He is currently married and his first wife is living. Maybe he's just saying, look, I have a... It's a blended family situation. still want to get you on board, but just so you're aware, Eileen is still living. Do you know what I mean? So it's like, expect to see her at like Easter and family events. Fine. How rich is he? I'll apply. What's his name?

13:12He's a billionaire. He owns shopping malls and everything. So I did think it would be up your street. You could go shopping with no money. You just go in and say, sorry, my husband owns the place. I'm taking whatever I want.

13:23Joanne McNally:This is very Barbara Streisand coded. Remember, she has a shopping centre underneath her house so she can act like she's, yeah. Well, she only has a supermarket. She's a supermarket that she goes shopping in. But I just, do you know what? I mean, they're moving online now, the Saudi billionaires, because when you think about it, everything is kind of online now. It might not be that easy to meet a woman in Saudi. We don't know. I've never been. I wouldn't rule it out. I might be able to lactate. I may have a penis, but I can lactate for you. Possibly. You think lactating will make you a hit in the UAE?

13:58Joanne McNally:Okay. Different strokes for different folks, mate. You don't know what they're looking for. I don't think that's the stroke they're looking for over there, my friend. They're going to stroke you out of existence, buddy. Good luck. Yeah. So I thought that was an interesting thing. We could also talk about the other man who was a complete dope on that American Airlines flight and got basically duct taped to the seat. did you see well you did you sent me it obviously I saw it you know I'm obsessed I follow various Reddit threads that just feature people who've been duct taped I wanted to pitch a TV show to Disney where I go around and interview people who have been duct taped or tasered on airplanes and thrown off a flight and caused an emergency landing and had the police come on board but people just you lose your mind but then some people like really lose their mind this lad was 67 and he had to be restrained with zip ties.

14:56They aggressively duct taped him to the seat. See his face? His face is all like contorted from something from the ring or something. He's just like half his jaws over one side of his head. It's like, but he was being, he was pissed. Obviously they're always pissed and he was shouting racist and homophobic slurs and they all restrained him and just literally were like, fuck it, let's get all the duct tape. You have to look up the picture. Hold on a second.

15:22Joanne McNally:It's mental. Is he the lad who's come out since and he's like, I've absolutely no memory of what happened. I'm so embarrassed. Is that him? Oh yeah, here he is. I mean, to say it's undignified, I have never seen that the more embarrassing in my life. I would die. Honestly. Like, I don't want to gender this, but seeing a man duct taped like that with no dignity is, I hate to use the term, it's a big ick. Jo, have you seen him? Okay. I don't remember any of what happened. oh my god what a mess I don't remember any of it I will say I'm not defending that man but as someone who flies well kind of you know frequently and also dabbles in melatonin and red wine I can just can I just say there before the grace of God go I I can imagine a day where you'll see me duct taped in the sky yeah okay would you rather I play this with the kids every day would you rather be the woman from the high rocks or your man from the plane you've got to choose I think I'd rather no I think it's a really hard one because he was saying racist and homophobic things oh yeah actually no that's really bad can I also just say that woman from the high rocks is getting more media attention than the protested in Iran it's fucking nuts I know she's apologised she shat herself she's given the thing back like we need to move on shit sells I told you shit sells very good very good shit sells yeah yeah yeah I'd rather be her I mean screaming home I think I'd rather be her it's not a good look yeah it's not a good look it's not a good look I mean it's gonna happen at some point in my life she's gonna get a big deal with Pampers Sport Pampers okay email yay our emails are back okay hi Joanne Vogue and Jo please keep me in on I fell into a long distance relationship with a colleague a few months back.

17:22He's married. I know, I know, I'm sorry. I fell for it's basically over line. Never again. And it got very intense very quickly. Constant messaging, video calls, talk of the future, gifting, talk of soulmates, et cetera, et cetera. I'm 40 and recently divorced, so it was amazing to feel wanted again by someone. We slept together on a work trip and almost as soon as I'd returned home, he had flicked a switch on the whole thing. it's just it's always the same not hearing from him for hours blah blah the usual one two skip a few I end the relationship but something felt off very off anyway I was working early one morning and noticed he was in a call via teams with the time zones we're based in this was 1am his time my stomach dropped why was he on a work call at 1am I noticed sorry

18:11Joanne McNally:this is after she'd broken up with him obviously yeah fine Yeah, fine, fine, fine. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I noticed a hot female colleague who had messaged me earlier in the day was also in a call. And over the next week, I caught them both on late night calls dropping out of the call at the exact same time. Oh my God, that is like torture to yourself watching that. It is, it's awful. I felt sick. He just moved on instantly while I was there trying to get over this relationship and heal healthily. He's just a serial arson. Yeah, he is, yeah. I've since realised he is a textbook covert narcissist, as in textbook.

18:45I had no idea these people existed and wow, they're evil. I've gone no contact with him other than when I unfortunately have to work with him, which luckily isn't too often. I see them on department calls messing about, laughing, messaging each other, and I'm convinced she was wearing his hoodie. He gave me one too. They love a playbook, these narcissists. It's been awful, but I'm getting over it now. My dilemma, obviously no one at work knows about him and I because he's married and everyone thinks he's Mr. Nice. and no one will know the truth about his new affair. I'm with the new girl next month for work.

19:18Do I tell her the truth? Yes. I feel awful because I know what will come her way eventually when he starts to treat her badly. I also know if she's smitten with him like I was, she may not want to hear it. I also don't want to be the one to break her heart. They've been at it for about three months, so I'm guessing it's coming towards the end of the love bombing phase with him, so she might be receptive to hearing it. Because he's a walking red flag, so she must have picked up on a few things already. Or should I leave it be? I'd love your honest thoughts and advice. Loads of love. P.S. I'm coming to see Joanne Solo in Vegas next month.

19:53There you go, Joanne. Tickets sold. Oh, thank God. Um, I, I, I, I, that's one person I want to say is your grand. Your grand. Oh, thank God. Yeah. I would say as much as you'd want to because I'm not involved in it at all I would feel like I'd be like tell the wife do this do that but realistically this guy will get caught karma will come back and bite him in the arse and I would just like hold your head up high and stay out of it and just like if that woman that woman knows he's married she knows she's playing with fire she's old enough and bold enough to be at that so I would leave her to it and if she gets her heart broken, it's just what's going to happen.

20:41Joanne McNally:You play with fire and you might get burned. I change my mind about stuff like this all the time. Like there's a part of me that feels like, yeah, don't lower yourself, keep a cheek, don't bother getting involved. And then there's another side that's like, no, no, because you feel completely played. Like you feel like he kind of took the piss and you were on the receiving end of all this gorgeous attention and then he took it and now he's giving it to someone else, which is awful. It's an awful feeling because obviously we're wired to be accepted, et cetera. But this man is a serial fuckboy. Cheat.

21:17Yeah, he's a serial cheat.

21:19Joanne McNally:He's a serial fuckboy but she still feels hurt like they were, you know, they were still in a relationship regardless of the ethics around it like they still were so she feels rejected. He's putting his attention somewhere else. And yeah, she's well within the rights to feel like she wants to out him. I'll be honest, imagine being the wife. God love that woman. Imagine you're married and there's two women about to have a hey girl, hey girly message about your husband and neither of them are even coming to you about it because he's such a whore that they're actually kind of like holding each other up like his mistresses are now communicating.

21:59Like, yeah.

22:01Joanne McNally:I genuinely feel for yourself to stay out of it because is only going to bring you trouble and you'll just you'll regret it. And I just think that this girl is in the same position as you, obviously. But like, do you actually want to like help her out or do you just want to get him back as well? I just as hard as it is, I'd say I'd say it's a bit of both. And I think that's OK. I think in this situation, I think I would say it to her because I think he's a he's a menace. And I think I don't I don't like when people go around treating people like shit, like over and over again. with no consequences.

22:36Joanne McNally:Well, if you're going to tell her, why don't you tell the wife? Because that's a totally different thing. I know, but I just feel like, I just, I just feel like, I do honestly think that the saying, if you play with fire, you're going to get burnt. I think it applies to this situation massively. I'm like, I'm not, I'm not judging you for what has happened because these things happen, they do. And it's like, he's the arsehole mainly, but I do think that at the end of the day, when you were with him, he was in a relationship and now he's like fucked you over and now he's in another relationship but he's also still married and the whole thing is just an itty soup of bullshit and I'd stay as far away from him as you possibly can.

23:17I wouldn't even talk to him. I just would completely zone him out and block him out and just try and hold your own head up high and ignore the whole thing and just let everything play out on its own.

23:27Joanne McNally:So his wife is going to notice that he's losing a hoodie every three months. Why do you keep losing your hoodies? She'll think she's thrown it out to help out with the wardrobe. Men have their hoodies. They're so full of shit. On Hinge on their profile, they'll be like, I want my hoodie back at the end. Like, they'll just, fuck off. Buy a fucking new hoodie. You're shopping off Sheen. But I would say it to the other girlfriends. I would. I actually would. I'd be like, you know, he's notorious. I was in the same boat. I would say it. Whether it be bitterness, I don't know what my intention is, but I would say it.

23:58Joanne McNally:I wouldn't engage with the wife. I think that's too heavy. But I would probably say it to the new mistress. Mr. Balanced advice then. Balanced advice and no real advice. You're going to have to decide what to do yourself. You're entitled to be pissed off and hurt. You're entitled to want to say something. 100 % you're entitled to be pissed off and hurt. This guy's an arsehole. But he just, I just wouldn't give him the time of day. I just have to pretend he was so, so minimal in my life that like he didn't exist because I'd be so repulsed by him. He's an arsehole. He's like the worst kind of person.

24:30Joanne McNally:He's just a horny, pathetic child. We have to go. Joe's cutting us off. It's not me. I always listen to this and I'm like, it sounds like I'm cutting us off but I'm just looking at Joe. Joe's the culprit here, everybody. Thank you for listening. Just waves his hand. Say it to her and when you're in San Fran, DM me and we'll go for a wine after and I want to hear more of this story. Vague. You're going out with Swiggy in San Fran. You can go out with her in Vegas, okay? You're busy in San Fran. I have three nights in San Francisco. Three. I thought it was three nights in Vegas. It is. Also. Three nights in Vegas.

25:03Joanne McNally:Okay. Have you not been listening to my relentless plugging? We'll speak to you in the US, won't we, on Friday? Yeah. Bye, everyone. Bye. See you in Seattle, Denver, Phoenix, Arizona, Dallas, Texas, wherever floats your boat. I'll be there.
