In short
The hosts banter about Irish “repression” around nudity, pregnancy body-shaming, and Ibiza nightlife (including IV drips, ketamine/K-holes, and DJs). The main advice segment is an email from a Kerry woman dating a man (“Damien”) who repeatedly reconnects but keeps pulling back, raising concerns about breadcrumbing.
Guests/backgrounds
No external guests. Hosts are Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally (with their producer/colleague Joe mentioned as absent on holidays).
Key claims
The man is likely breadcrumbing/keeping her as emotional support or a side option; if he wanted her, he’d act consistently. Pregnancy beach judgment is misogynistic.
Notable examples
“Satchie moments” (Grace Campbell walking in naked); topless beach interaction; IV drip dehydration; ketamine K-hole description; advice: “cut him off immediately.”

Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:02Vogue Williams:This is a global production. Ireland's longest situationship. I need your help because I think I've accidentally become a recurring character in a romantic sitcom. Let's call him Damien.
0:14Joanne McNally:Well, that's a terrible start.
0:21Vogue Williams:Hello, hello and welcome to My Therapist Goes With Me with me, Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally Joanne McNally And a lovely surprise in the background thank you for that Joanne it has really brightened our day
0:33Joanne McNally:She just had her, what was the, Grace Campbell just walked into the camera bollock naked
0:39Vogue Williams:and then walked, and then returned and then walked away and said oh sorry and then returned again and then went and did a little spin in the corner she walked in on all fours
0:52Joanne McNally:with a saddle on her back and was like oh sorry guys remember Trini was going out with that guy the rich guy Satchie she was doing a segment on this morning and he walked in naked, do you remember this? She was doing a live in her bedroom and he walked out of the shower so Grace Grace Campbell's just had a satchie moment she's free she's a free woman she hasn't worn a sock or a pant since we've been here she's a naked baby
1:21Vogue Williams:it's lovely when you get to that age where you're just like you're like I'm gonna I don't care like back in like if I was 18 and that happened to me I'd be so embarrassed but then you're just like I don't care I don't care she's a boho baby yeah I'm not I'm not much of a nudie girl as are you aren't really either Joanne I haven't seen much well I've seen your boobs but that's it She won't show me the rest, I've asked.
1:44Joanne McNally:Yeah. I don't know. Yeah, I'm repressed. I'm repressed.
1:49Vogue Williams:I'm the same. I just, I sleep in pyjamas.
1:53Joanne McNally:Yeah, I like the weight of material on my body at night and I am repressed. I mean, am I going to blame Catholicism? I shouldn't, but I will. I mean, it makes no difference in my life being a Catholic at all, except when I make excuses about being repressed.
2:08Vogue Williams:Yeah but I think it does have a lot to do with certain ways that we are. Like I guess maybe it's a bit of an Irish thing as well to be not going around like naked because I don't have many Irish friends who are big naked goers but Svenny would happily, like you've seen him naked because he's walked into the back of the shot and he just doesn't care.
2:30Joanne McNally:He's had a satchy moment. He's had a couple of satchy moments on the pod hasn't he? It just shows how unprofessional me and Vogue are either just throwing the camera up wherever we can. any solid table. We're like, whack it up, go live. No, we were never a naked family. We were a clothed family. Naked families are French.
2:49Vogue Williams:French, but there's a lot of, there's a lot of, I'm going to say there's UK based naked families as well. I just was not one of the naked families. Yeah. Now, people find it weird that I have seen, now I have seen, not in a weird way, I would like to just point it out, but I have seen my father's parts. I walked in one day and yes I had of course I was going to look I couldn't not look they were just there and same with my brothers I walked into his room one morning my older brother and his duvet wasn't on properly but like he should have known the rules we're not a naked family we're not a naked family
3:21Joanne McNally:yeah fully cloud you'll sleep in a duffel coat because you're Catholic no one wants to see any of your shit at any stage but it's gone shower in your knickers we're all in the beach in lagging jackets in case anyone God forbid and he would see a scratch.
3:41Vogue Williams:Don't look at me. I keep seeing comments about me like, oh, there she is on the beach with her bump. Disgusting. Put it away. I'm on the beach. Like I'm wearing swimwear. I'm wearing the appropriate attire for the beach. And you know what? I can't get a swimsuit to fit. Sorry.
4:00Joanne McNally:Sorry. I find that highly offensive. Firstly, we Vogue carry high levels of shame. I do think there's something I think Irish traditionally do. I mean, I hate to lean on our ancestors, but they've given us some weird shit for sure. But like, that's our own problem. But like giving out about a pregnant woman being on a beach, I mean, that's just flat out misogyny. Or you're pregnant. You're about to give birth. You're about to do the most difficult thing in the world. And the fact that they would judge that you were showing your book, you're just surviving and living in the world in a heat wave.
4:36in Spain.
4:38Vogue Williams:I'm trying to survive and I've seen many a man How is that offensive? Many a man with their tummies out many a man and I see no issue with it and I embrace them I enjoy them. Yeah. One man
4:48Joanne McNally:Probably far more rotund than your own
4:51Vogue Williams:So I was walking up the beach anyway with as some people are saying my gut hanging out it's not my gut. Anyway and I'm walking by this man who was also topless and had a little protruding belly shall we say and he said it's very difficult isn't it Vogue in this heat to be pregnant that's funny I like him who is he I love you is he single that's gas yeah I considered like maybe I should make friends with him that's funny yeah really nice I love when people are nice do you know what I mean I know just I was only saying that to Amber today that interaction is just fun just be nice and just have a laugh I'm like we're only like I genuinely just feel over the last while I'm just like I'm saying this to Amber like like we're only here for a short while.
5:38Vogue Williams:Let's all just have like a bit of a laugh. Don't take everything so serious, please. God. Anyway.
5:45Joanne McNally:They were saying the security had turned up. I thought it was to us, but it was to the room next door. I wonder what the goss there is. Oh, why? I don't know. I don't know what's going on. It looks amazing. It's right by the sea. It is. It's deadly. I think it's kind of new-ish and it's right on the beach. And yeah, but it's like, Like it's not a party. I think it's like somewhere in the middle. It's not like a party hotel, but it's not dead at the same time. And like the pool has like that pumping music and stuff. It's go crack.
6:14Vogue Williams:That's quite fun. I kind of don't think that I could do though an Oshwaya. Like people can stay there and they stay around and it's like, that's it. But I suppose if you're there for a party party, it would be fun. What's an Oshwaya? Oshwaya is like where Kevin Harris and stuff plays. And it's like this, it starts slightly earlier, I think than other ones, but like it's got like this kind of pool vibe. Yes. And there's all like apartments around the pool. I don't think I'd be able for that now. I wouldn't be able for that.
6:41Joanne McNally:Girl, oh my God. Guess who I met. Olivia Atwood. Well, yes, but that wasn't who I was going to say. But yes, we hung out with Olivia. We were obsessed with her. She is beguiling, as Grace Campbell would say. She is beguiling, charming. Guess who else I met. Carl Cox. No, I didn't go to Carl Cox in the end, much to my shame. But I bailed.
7:02Vogue Williams:Oh, listen, we are disgusting.
7:04Joanne McNally:I know, two huge nights. And yesterday we got these gorgeous like IV drips and stuff. And then last night we were, I mean, we were pretty, I mean, I'm 43. How many people mailed you? Sorry, no, I won't accept that. You're 43. You look better and feel better than I feel today. What the fuck? I went to bed at half nine. Well, you are with child. Doesn't matter. You don't deserve this. I'm sorry but you don't I can't help it that I'm naturally hydrated although when I got the IV drip the nurse put the IV drip in she goes wow it's really going in quick I said what does that mean she goes it just means you're really dehydrated I was like okay
7:49Vogue Williams:I'm surprised your body didn't reject it like it would a kidney it's like what the fuck is this water
7:56Joanne McNally:give me a heads up but we posted a video of me and Grace getting the drifts and DJ Fat Tony wrote to me that he wrote, amateurs. We're like, ah! We're being hackled by DJ Fat Tony.
8:08Vogue Williams:How many people mailed you and said, they don't work. They won't get anything from it. Do you know what? They do work at the time and I don't care what anyone says. There is a lot of that. You're pissing it out.
8:18Joanne McNally:I don't know. Like, I think there's no harm in it. You know, if it does anything, if it does something. Rachel, the woman who does it, she's really sound and we wanted to hang out with her again so we were like, can we get some drips? That was why it's good. but guess guess who we met guess guess guess
8:32Vogue Williams:okay let me guess a few more
8:34Joanne McNally:Calvin Harris no David Guetta he's not he is famous but not in the traditional sense
8:41Vogue Williams:DJ Fat Tony
8:42Joanne McNally:no I mean I think he's famous in the traditional sense no we spoke about him before I said when I'm coming out who do I want to meet oh god I don't know Pykes no no yeah Fat Nick and of course the guy who helped the guy out of the K-hole of course I had a couple of drinks on board so I just halfway through me performing the voice now to him I'd say I actually stopped myself and was like how many times do you get this and he's like thousands a night thousands you've manoeuvred me here oh no hi it's Nick from Pikes here I've got his hi it's the manager from Pikes got your friend here he's in a K-hole I'm signed
9:27Vogue Williams:yeah uh anyway if you can come and get him if you've never seen anyone in a k-hole which i luckily i did in in ibiza or else my trip would have been i beat that not worth it you're back garden gg's birthday party i'd say there was strong i saw a man in a k k is meant to be really bad for you by the way it's meant to make you not wee it's meant to really ruin your bladder i know
9:50Joanne McNally:apparently and it's a it's a huge thing at the moment so when we were growing up pills were the thing and there was young people like like there was like yeah like young people dying doing pills now it's cash and it's it's really addictive apparently and it's cheap and loads of the young people are young loads of the young people the young people are on it and it stops them being able to urinate there was actually a woman on the news only the other day i was watching her on insta she came up her daughter passed away from a cat addiction i i was like whoa i heard
10:18Vogue Williams:of somebody else dying from from ketamine and i didn't realize but anyway it is it can be entertaining when somebody is in a k-hole because they basically drugs are bad drugs are bad but like they walk like a crab they will make absolutely no sense and trying to move them like that poor man and pikes was probably trying to get that man because you're like a dead weight you're alive but you're just like a dead body people look like this i saw a man his two friends had to help him into the hotel i was like oh wow it's eight o 'clock at night like where the hell did you go?
10:48Joanne McNally:It is a tranquilizer ultimately. So you know.
10:53Vogue Williams:For horsies. That's why it doesn't work on me. For horses. Too used to it.
10:57Joanne McNally:No the K is like I can't deal with a carcass this size.

11:06Joanne McNally:But anyway. Met Nick. So sound. I'm meeting loads of podcast. I'm meeting loads of ghosted listeners out here. Our listeners are party girls. Yeah. They're party girls. I have to say I did notice that from the tour
11:18Vogue Williams:to be honest with you. Hold on a second. Oh my God. I don't know what's more shocking that Joanne has actually remembered how to move the camera back or that she has the camera with her. What? She's brought the camera to Ibiza. I had FOMO when I didn't go to Carl Cox, obviously, but like I knew that there was, there was a, there was a way to get there again. I have really bad news for you. So Carl Cox was playing early and then he was playing back to back with David Guetta and then he was playing on his own again and he missed it.
11:49Joanne McNally:I know. I know. It is actually, I actually am quite embarrassed. I know. It was two huge nights and two huge days. Who have you gone to see? Went to see Boys Noise. Went to see Dom Dalla. No! Yeah.
12:05Vogue Williams:Boys Noise. Oh my God. Yeah, went to see Dom Dalla. Was that amazing? Where was that? In? Who cares? You went to see Boys Noise. Did you go to see? A venue.
12:16Joanne McNally:Was it a club by chance? It was a club. There was walls, a roof and a DJ set. And loads of people going mad. Yeah, it was deadly. Really good crack. I'm here for another week. Oh my God. The guys are going home. Has it cooled down? Yeah, it's actually not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Because I was thinking, I was like, I'm going to have to give up my pride. Give up the chance of having any sort of romance over here. No rides. And I was going to buy one of those neck fans. Do you know those neck fans? that I spin around and like they're undignified but they do the job I thought that's where I was going to go like wearing a neck brace but it's actually not that bad
12:56Vogue Williams:I'm thrilled no it's cool down it's cool down here as well it's only it's 27 here which is quite a joyous temperature to live in
13:03Joanne McNally:I didn't even have to come off my medication much to everyone's joy you do seem in good form today I can tell I can tell you're still on it I'll do it guys I didn't do it so I medicated it on I'm cool. It's working out.
13:24Vogue Williams:Although you look well, I'm sure your brain's not functioning as well as it could be. So when it starts functioning properly again, I want you to write in all the Ibiza stuff. You want to hear all of the glass.
13:35Joanne McNally:I'll do a full load in. I bought a dress in Pikes. I really invested in Pikes. I was going shopping in air. Yeah.
13:45Vogue Williams:I was with Adam Sherry one of our friends Adam Sherry we were talking about his dog on this podcast a while ago and I said to him I was like yeah Joanne's going to be there and I was like but I love when she goes away because she's the only person that will tell you when she actually went to bed everyone else is like I think I went around half past nine Joanne will give us be jerk on the next it was 10am there was families
14:08Joanne McNally:pushing proms past us it was really outing I've never felt worse about myself I can't yeah Wait I'll tell you the truth Vogue I'll tell you the truth So excited
14:21Vogue Williams:Okay Ireland's longest situationship Hi Joanne Vogue and Jo we've actually got M.O. covering Jo on the pod because Joanne guess what Jo is on where is he? Are you saying I'm the Dua Lipa of Ireland Jo's the Dua Lipa of England he's on his holidays again Poor Jo gets like two weeks off like literally standard practice I know. And when he goes away, me and Vogue are like, oh, well, it's nice for some. You must get 28 days off. What do you get him out? You get 28. I think we get 25 plus bank holidays and then, but he might get extra days for doing really long.
15:00Joanne McNally:For working with us, basically.
15:04There's like four days bonus off for his mental health.
15:08Joanne McNally:Is that what you're saying? He gets, yeah, he gets mental health days. That's exactly what he gets.
15:12Vogue Williams:Joe you have your holidays but then you have six mental health days because you work on my next guest and me
15:16Joanne McNally:he'll come back we'll see the indent of a straight jacket on his back he'll be like hey no no no everything's fine no I feel great now
15:25Vogue Williams:he's had a lobotomy Joanne texted the group this morning and was like I need to change the pod time but she sent it to me and Joe and Joe had already told us that he was going on holidays for two weeks I was like Joe's not here and Joe just writes back please don't embarrass me
15:37Joanne McNally:Joe going on holidays it's too late Joe it's not information I take on board and also my memory is so bad Grace and Ross were actually saying to you today they're like are you okay like they were talking about nights out or days or events like huge things and I was like nah they're like you were there Joanne they're like show me photos and all I was like I think I've early onset dementia it's my biggest fear let's hear the email
15:57Vogue Williams:you definitely don't Spenny has that too he just forgets certain like big life events I need to up my creatine he still refuses to accept that you lived
16:05Joanne McNally:I thought you were going to refuse to accept you're married I was like what he just doesn't remember the day yeah he's swearing down it's like really ever happened creatine is key i have my mother on the creatine now as well it's great for cognitive awareness now you don't want to
16:21Vogue Williams:overdo the creatine because really somebody i know somebody did and he's got a real bad tum tum for a while and i's had to cut right back yeah oh but but is he but but is he like rain man
16:31Joanne McNally:now that's what i'm hoping i would take some indigestion if i could remember my own phone number to be honest it's it's actually it's spen and he still forgets things like oh my god here was me ready to go full collab with the creatine community yeah can you not take creating
16:51Vogue Williams:if you're pregnant i don't really know because you can take like like you can take collagen and stuff like that so i don't really i mean they just tell you not to take anything yeah yeah don't have any i was gonna have a glass of champagne the other day and then it's like there's all these conflicting things and everyone's like well it's like the odd one is fine and then it's like no you shouldn't have any and I'm like but what about the people who drink that? You can't do anything
17:10Joanne McNally:when you're pregnant.
17:11Vogue Williams:I was looking in the mirror You're cooking a human. I know but I was looking in the mirror last night and I was like oh god and I'm counting down the days of how much longer that I'll be pregnant but like not I wasn't doing it in a good way last night I was like oh my god this is the last time that like this will ever be this and then this morning I was like fuck this Get it out. Fuck. I'm bollocks. Get it out.
17:30Joanne McNally:I would be very convinced I would be more willing to go down the pregnancy route if it was a three week process it's the nine month side of it just feels brutal
17:40Vogue Williams:and Joanna it's actually 10 months it's 40 weeks it's 10 months and I must send you the date to see if you're here because you're going to pop in and say hi to me that would be fun
17:47Joanne McNally:no I have the dates it's in my conjurer because I'm going in for the gas and air okay great good once you have the dates because it is shit like that I absolutely remember the fact that you're pregnant I kept forgetting but the fact that I have a booking with the gas and air that I do remember because that's how I work I'll be like going in the gas and air I'll be like why are we here because I'm having a child oh god I forgot again what do you do there
18:11Vogue Williams:I'm in labour actually Joanne you've actually come into my room you're not in hospital
18:17Vogue Williams:they do a great meal in there okay I need your help because I think I've actually accidentally become a recurring character in a romantic sitcom let's call him Damien well that's a terrible start I know that's what we call Otto
18:33Joanne McNally:when he's having an off date terrible terrible I'm sorry to the Damien community but it's not like at least I'd go Damo I'd be leading with Damo or Dee
18:41Vogue Williams:it reminds me of the
18:43Joanne McNally:of the Homan of course yeah it's a really bad name sorry but if this if this if this romance story works out at the end we'll say it's a lovely name I'm starting on her side yeah okay we matched on Tinder Of course we're starting on her side.
18:58Vogue Williams:When we matched on Tinder back in 2022, that's four years ago, and dated for a lovely summer. Things fizzled out, not because either of us did anything wrong, but because he wanted to move towards Dublin. Well, I was happily staying put in Kerry, building a house, wrong place, wrong time. Wow. Building a house in Kerry, very nice. A couple of months later, he popped back up asking if we could just be friends because we'd always got on so well. We were terrible at being friends. There was flirting, a kiss and eventually we admitted this friendship wasn't working and called it quits again. Fast forward another year.
19:30Vogue Williams:We randomly bumped into each other, got back in touch, had a brilliant date in his hometown after I was at a wedding in Dublin and we slept together. We had another lovely date in Kerry a few weeks later. Then comes the part where I may be the villain. Joanne, her internet has died. So she can see us. She can hear us. so she's essentially a ghost on the pod right now i'm gonna finish the email if joanne has thought she's going to she's going to voice notice okay i casually invited him to the second day of a friend's wedding oh that's spicy to ask someone to that on the first day of the wedding i ended up meeting another guy got completely distracted and when damien texted asking what time should I come I ignored him yes not my finest moment I made up a rubbish excuse the following day and understandably he cooled off after that I mean I just I don't really like you're at a wedding things change you don't know that well for him to be concerned by that we texted on off until I got into a relationship in 2024 out of respect for my boyfriend I told damien we shouldn't be talking anymore now for the plot twist this january 2026 he liked me on hinge i accepted and we've been chatting ever since in march he told me he'd like us to be more than friends only to completely row it back off for fucks a week later is this not called bread coming or something where you're just like you're keeping someone on board and then you're not really that interested you're kind of bread coming each other when i asked him what was going on he said I just don't know what I want.
21:09Vogue Williams:Yet, he still messages me constantly. So, ladies, what is his game? Is he genuinely interested but afraid? Am I his emotional support, Penpal? Is he keeping me on the long finger while deciding? Or is this just a man who enjoys collecting me like a Pokemon every couple of years? Part of me wonders if I should cut contact because if a man knows, he knows. The other part of me thinks somehow we've kept finding our way back to each other over the four years. But maybe, so maybe that's worth something. have I anything to lose by keeping this going or am I wasting your own time please help a very confused Kerry girl in my opinion you are wasting your time I think that if he wanted to be with you he would be with you and he would make sure that that was to happen and I don't think that the wedding situation was all that bad to be honest I don't think that makes you the villain I think that you just like hooked up with someone at the wedding and like obviously you weren't really like involved with this guy so it doesn't really matter it's not like he was your boyfriend but I do it feels like he's breadcrumbing you to come back on Hinge like you and then be doing this whole thing again I don't know like dude you've had four years to know do you know what I mean I just I'm all for romance but no do you want
22:20Joanne McNally:coming in hard on the whatsapps listening to Vogue read the email he is wasting your time he is wasting your precious time he's writing checks he's never going to cash he's keeping you on the side you're a side hustle get rid of this person immediately cut him off
22:42Vogue Williams:cut him off that's probably one of the first times Joanne and I have ever agreed on something cut him right off, you're better than that, you deserve more than that and you're like, your time is more important than that, fuck off, you don't need time to make your decision you should know
22:57Joanne McNally:if it makes her feel any better please tell her from the whatsapps that I had one of those that went on for 10 years. 10 years. 10 of my youngest, hottest, most fertile years. This lad breadcrummed me relentlessly and I let him much to my shame.
23:18Vogue Williams:Oh God, you've got to love Joanne's enthusiasm though. You know? Yeah, you are very committed. Well done. But don't, yeah, let that be a lesson to learn. Don't let someone do that to you. Okay, everyone. Is she coming back for more? This is great. Will we just do this from now on?
23:37Joanne McNally:Cut him out like a veruca. Ice him out.
23:44Vogue Williams:That is a perfect way to end this pod. Thank you, everybody, for listening. Get ready for all of the Ibiza news on the next pod because Joanne will tell us exactly what she got up to, exactly what time she went to bed, and everything in between. I'm so excited. I'm not even going to talk to her until then.
24:02Joanne McNally:He is a pest. he's like the mouse in my house he's taking the piss
24:10Vogue Williams:we're going to be getting your voice notes all day this is going to go around to Joanne's head all day thanks for listening see you later

Joanne is live from Ibiza (medicated and hydrated), Vogue is pregnant on a beach and apparently that's illegal now, and Grace Campbell has just walked into frame completely starkers. It's chaos.
This week's email comes from a listener trapped in what can only be described as Ireland's longest situationship... four years of Tinder matches, fizzled summers, wedding mishaps and a man who keeps popping up like a Pokémon.
Plus: Joanne's internet dies mid-pod, so she's haunting us via WhatsApp voice note. Legend has, she still is...
