Kenneth Walker brings immediate leadership and high-tempo practice habits. Eagles’ new offensive line coach Cooper is teaching a successful system; the QB POV clip is “very accurate” but peripheral vision matters.
Notable examples
Chiefs: Stelcold/Chris Jones as an anchor; rookie Peter Woods; Delane (edge/corner piece for Spags). Eagles: Willie Lampkin (5’11) dominating despite size; Jalen Hurts POV clip; highlight vs the Ravens.

Automatic transcript. May contain errors.0:00Well, then let's get down to... Well done. You got a great voice for it. I don't have a great voice for like modern music, but if you want to throw me in a fucking Disney movie, I could fucking rock. You're basically a Disney prince.
0:15Jason Kelce:Yay. What is it? Let's get down to business. To who pod cast. Oh, okay. I was like, where are you going with this? Bring your sons and daughters. Okay. Don't repeat the language. Nice. Prodcaster. Out of you.
0:46Welcome back to New Heights, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. We've missed you.
0:52Jason Kelce:Yeah. Over here on New Heights, a wondrous show brought to you by NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV. football is back yeah god man i've been at training camp for three weeks four weeks guys i can't even count how long it's been um and it's good to see you guys and uh we're excited to get this thing rolling for season five six how many years have we been doing this apparently this is the fifth and we're your hosts here at new heights that's right jason kelsey my big brother and i'm travis kelsey his little brother subscribe on youtube wherever you get your podcasts and follow the Show it on social media at new height show with one S for fun clips throughout the week.
1:30I'm sure we'll have a bunch of those this week. Haven't talked to Jason forever. Jason, tell the people what we got coming up.
1:35Jason Kelce:90 % is we are fucking back in season five. We're going to recap all we've been in this off season. We're going to get into everything from training camps. We've also got Aaron Donald. He's back. Shit. Then Travis. Also, I don't know if you got into anything. This off season you want to mention, but if you do, now would be the time. We'll get into just a little bit of that new news. New news coming in. Our first bit of new news, though, arguably the most important bit of new news that we have. Jason has been selected for the Cincinnati Athletics 50th anniversary Hall of Fame class. That's right.
2:13Jason's a Hall of Famer. Let's go Cats. How does it feel to be in the Hall of Fame, Jason? This is your second Hall of Fame that you've been inducted in, correct?
2:22Jason Kelce:Well, Cleveland Heights. I'm trying to think. Have I been in another one? Are you in another one? Ohio Music Hall of Fame, are you in that one? No, not in that one. Are you in the Ohio Swim Cadets? No. Hall of Fame? No, not in that one. I don't think that one exists yet. Well, either way, how does it feel? It feels like Cincinnati wants some money. Time out. Time out. Let's take that. Let's rewind that back. Let's keep it PG for our listeners. I mean, listen, I was a two-time All-Big East. Come on now, baby. Big East. Second team. Back when the Big East was popping. No, you were first team. No, I was not.
3:06Jason Kelce:I was in second team All-Conference twice, and I'm in the Hall of Fame. So it does feel like a bit of this has been from my post-career at Cincinnati. 100%. 100%. It's an incredible honor. I'm going in with our former college teammate, my former pro teammate, Connor Barwin, is also going to the Hall of Fame. CB, congrats. Congrats to Connor, man. You know the third member going in this year? Oh, I do know. I do know who it is. The old ball coach. That's right, Bob Huggins. Huggy Bear. Huggy Bear, man, what a guy. Coach Huggs, congrats, man. That's awesome. So part of an awesome class, obviously incredibly honored that Cincinnati would adorn me with this honor into the Hall of Fame class.
3:48Jason Kelce:But, you know, again, it feels a little odd knowing that I was a walk-on like two-time conference second team selection. But we did have a lot of success. It was a fun time. I love Cincinnati. I still love going back. We're going back to a game this week, actually. Connor, me, and Brent Selick, we're going to roll down. So looking forward to that. Yeah, they got Boston College, baby. Let's go, man. Let's go. Cats start off the gear on the right foot, baby. Let's go. Yeah, so back to you getting into the Hall of Fame, though, man. I hear what you're saying. um but at the same time man your your football career um i'm a representative of the university exactly exactly it's it doesn't just it's not one little and it was and as much as you loved being there and you love talking about being there and you are you are in a big way an advocate for the university i think a lot of that is by all means a part of this and i think uh i think you You know, you saying that, you know, you went there, you loved it there, you grew there, you became an even better football player there.
4:58And then you went on to do unbelievable things that a lot of centers in the entire world that have ever played this game have never done. I think that has a lot to do with you getting this this acknowledgement.
5:10Jason Kelce:So I appreciate it, Travis. Thank you. Very honored to be there. Can't wait to go back to Cincinnati. I love being there. Can't wait to watch the Bearcats. Come on, baby. Get up old Nippert Stadium, man. Sit in one of those nice high-rise suites they got there, man. Ooh, there are some sweet seats right above the tunnel that the Cats walk out on now. I saw them selling those tickets. Those things look sweet, man. The best seat I ever had was in the student section at the basketball game. That was a lot. Dude, that sounds like you got to find your way over to the student section, baby. I mean, listen.
5:42See the band come flying down those steps in the beginning?
5:44Jason Kelce:I got a pretty iconic photo from one of my first couple years out in the student section cheering on the UC basketball team. Sean Kilpatrick. Yeah. Yancy Gase and the boys. Let's go. Do we want to look at these college photos? Yeah, let's go ahead and throw out those college photos. I think that's Cincinnati Post-it, right? Gosh, looking at old photos, especially the college years, man. I got some fucking gnarly photos. Holy shit, Jason, you won the Heisman? I did. Oh. Oh, what a ball player, man. Man. Dude, you got to bring back the stash, man. I just hate the way my face looks without a beard.
6:25Jason Kelce:No way. Yeah, no chance. You're a handsome young man, Jason. Look at that. Look at that dude right there. Freshman year. That's a Mike linebacker right there. That was when I was still linebacker, for sure. That's a man filling the A-gap, baby. Let's go. Oh, look at John Goble. Johnny Goves, baby. pit sweat is look at this guy's had a mic in his hand his entire life he was made for this who the fuck is that guy oh trevy oh what is this oh man new heights in the beginning is this the beginning of new heights the old camp higher ground that's right camp higher ground you probably were a freshman that year winning the keg of nails against louisville louisville yeah Yeah, baby.
7:09Look at that, man.
7:11Jason Kelce:The one at the bottom is hilarious, man. That is Travis's senior night, so I would have been my second year. I got a torn ACL. Well, a freshly prepared ACL at that point. That a boy. A little Derek Wolf action. Wolfie in the picture. Go shot of gobs. How about it, man? It's a very random photo to include. Not my finest. Not my finest. Interesting angle. We can skip that one. Interesting shot. Oh, yeah. This is what Jason's teammates remember. Remember being at the fucking front of the fight, the commander in chief, always leading everybody into battle, baby. Is that what I look like when I'm yelling?
7:46Is that how it always looks? You don't really see it as that because it happens so fast. But I think when I think that is you in the flesh, that's not AI. Yeah.
7:55Jason Kelce:Okay. Perfect. That was back when I used to just take a rate, like I would just take my razor and that's how I trim my eyebrows. I would just go straight across my eyebrows. So it's super thin and not having any shape. i would go right here i would go right here and then i would and then i would razor across that's a pretty good line i would if you didn't say that i would have never guessed but they are definitely way thinner than what they are now oh yeah that's funny as hell man college is so funny man i remember one year i actually tried to shave my chest at college and then it grew back so fast that I tried to wax it after that.
8:35And I showed up like 50-year-old virgin where it's like bloody and patchy and I have scabs on my chest.
8:40Jason Kelce:Yeah, right. So I just gave up on that whole idea real quick in about two weeks. I was like, yeah, I'll probably never do that again. Gosh, college. Just trying to figure things out, man. Well, now that we've been able to embarrass me through a bunch of photos, let's embarrass Travis. Travis made his debut as a global ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger. can't embarrass me i mean you look a lot better than i do i love what you're doing with your do when you take a photo are they telling you to put your elbow like that um sometimes you'll get so you listen photographers they they have some good direction you know i always think of the scene in austin powers there's like i need a tiger i need a you know what i mean he's like yes yes no no no yes um but yeah i don't remember whether i did this or not but it is a bit it is a bit chip and daily for sure it looks good i mean you're definitely like suggestive a little bit with that right hand but it's a good photo it's a good photo nice man oh there's more okay there we go there we go oh i didn't know that wendy was was out of the bag yes wendy that's been released yes she is officially a picture dog that's a great picture we got to get her we got to get her the the line and her size uh unfortunately it's just she's just got her fur on right now so we've got to work with tommy on getting her some uh some some good clothes no it's uh it was fun you know we were going to use a dog in the shoot uh and uh the entire team was mentioning you know we were going to use a dog and am i okay with dogs i'm like i have a dog like oh you want to bring your bring your dog in i'm just like uh let me talk it over with my my fiance at the time let me talk it over with tay and uh figure out you know what's the best way to go about this and she was all for it and it's it's kind of crazy how perfect she looks in a tommy hillfiger world you know what i mean like she matches the brand and the shoot and it was pretty easy to get her to jump on the couch and have some fun with us so um but yeah wendy's uh wendy's now a um model Yep.
10:51She's a model dog. She looks great. She's killing it. Little old Wendy's a little over a year old now. Yep. We've had her for quite a while. Try to keep it under wraps. Got sniped. Got sniped at the airport.
11:03Jason Kelce:Well, it doesn't. It also doesn't work when you do a Tommy Hilfiger shoot with her. But yeah. Yeah. Good call. Good call. Speaking of other things out of the bag, we do have probably the most interesting bit of the off season that happened to both of us, but certainly to you, is that you're finally married. We have not done a podcast since you are husband and wife. I'm a married man. It has not happened. I'm a married man. What do we want to talk about? I mean, we've already talked about this on other podcasts and so forth. Guests have shared things. What do we feel like sharing and discussing?
11:35Jason Kelce:Travis, I'll leave the floor to you because I don't know. At this point, we're, what, over a month out? It's been so much fun. First of all, the night was a night out. It was insane. It's a night out we'll never forget. me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, you know, from, from the vows to, you know, just seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that kind of be relayed through everybody's stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man. And I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did. It felt like it just happened at the blink of an eye.
12:16Jason Kelce:They kicked us out. Well, they stopped. once the drinks stop being served, everyone kind of just starts to, you know, mosey out. But, you know, thank you to everyone at MSG that allowed us to do this. We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. And we needed it to be a private feel. So, and MSG went above and beyond to give us that. And I can't thank everybody enough about that, that showed up but also uh that helped uh put the show on uh and it was uh it was a very magical magical night and uh i can't i can't say thank you to everyone without to give a special thank you to the adam sandler oh my gosh um he has been just the fucking best person on this planet and i for him to be up for uh getting ordained in the state of new york and marrying me and taylor in the way he did in the very, you know, Sandman style and giving us more than we could have ever imagined in that moment, knowing that it was the biggest night of both of our lives.
13:24It was it was absolutely insane, man.
13:27Jason Kelce:Yeah, I when you said Adam was going to be officiating the wedding, I initially I was like, man, that's he's going to be hilarious. But it wasn't until like right before the wedding that I realized, oh, my God, he's going to like crush this because there's no. Well, I mean, obviously he's an entertainer and he's very, he's hilarious, but there's a sweetness in everything Adam does, like all of his movies. And like, like there's a degree of it that I think really resonates with officiating a wedding. I mean, obviously he'd be a wedding singer too. I guess he is officially a wedding singer now, but I mean, it was, he was absolutely fantastic.
14:04Jason Kelce:And the other thing was the ceremony was beautiful. Adam killed it. Both you and Tay were incredible in your vows. the thing I really liked about this wedding in particular and the way you guys structured it was like after all that was done like there wasn't like the sit down formal stuff there wasn't like a bunch of the speeches it was just time to party and have fun and that's what made it so fun to for like for me to be there you're seeing all these a-list celebrities and then I said this on some voice else but like you see mrs i haven't seen mrs clark in forever seeing that was like the I saw Brad Pitt hugging Conan O 'Brien.
14:40Jason Kelce:I see Paul McCartney. And then all of a sudden I see Mrs. Clark. And I'm like, what in the world? And like, it's this. Yeah, that was that was it was so cool to see how everybody interacted. And, you know, with no phones comes, you know, not people not having to be on guard and like feel that, you know, something, you know, whatever, whatever that feeling is for everyone. It makes it makes everyone be in the moment and be present. And it was it was so cool seeing everyone from my childhood not only mesh with Taylor and her childhood and her family and friends and and people that she works with to to who we've come encounter with over our career and who we just admire as people and have become good friends with now.
15:24And it's just been so cool to see that world come together and hear through person by person, you know, after the wedding, just how awesome of a time everyone had there. And that's what we wanted it to be. We wanted it to be, you know, a beautiful ceremony. It was so fun. But we also wanted to make sure that everybody left there having some fun.
15:44Jason Kelce:Yeah. And it was a magical night, man. Yeah. And, I mean, that's what I mean. Like, you know, Paul McCartney, Brad Pitt. but then also people that you guys grew up with and still have relationships with today like seeing that ensemble and cast of people all sharing one room to celebrate and like you know experience a day with you guys like as someone just associated with a piece of that it was it was just like it was so special and so awesome forever grateful for everybody that showed up and supported it man also uh 92 percenters for those of you that are unaware our own jet jake is officially a father nice jake he has taken on perhaps the most important role he will ever take on in his life and he is now hardwiring a bunch of information into a child's brain that will either be a success or lead to the next ted bundy we don't know which one will happen Oh, no, you can't do that.
16:49Time will tell what his job is. And that's fatherhood.
16:56Jason Kelce:And for those of you wondering why he is not coming on today, he is on paternity leave, which I have already started giving him shit. I mean, let's be honest. You're not doing much, Jake. You can tweet with your hand and hold your baby. You're not going into the mill, right? you're not forging iron and then having you can do both of these at the same time i'm just saying i'm with jake on this man you gotta get when you need some time off you gotta get some time off man he's got plenty of time off he's just had a month off yeah answer some of the 92 percenters there's not that much time that's all i'm saying the baby's gonna be asleep for half of it all it's doing is eat sleep and shit and that's pretty much what the infant does for these first three months i get maternity i'm all listening to everything jake's saying listen i'm all about fatherhood i'm all about being a great dad but like we all know like you're only so much you can fucking do like you know they aren't latching onto your tits you can bottle feed listen my baby needs me man yeah your baby needs you you can be there i'm just saying there's not much
18:04Jason Kelce:i think i just peed up kylie just walked in kai is three months too long for jet shake paternity leave i need a woman's perspective because i feel like i'm going to be shunned if i don't yeah paternity is he on that call no the jake is he's on paternity leave yes that is too long
18:30Jason Kelce:what's an appropriate time of paternity leave you're asking the wrong person someone who had a husband who went back well yeah we were football players we had to work they don't give you a paternity leave in the NFL I'm getting crushed right now you're gonna get fucking we don't want any of this that's it for new news we're probably cutting that once again congrats to our good friend jake and his wife emily very happy for both of you i hope you guys do a good job it sounds like you already are jake you are taking your full paternity well and we'll shoot to a quick ad read and then we're going to talk some actual football so we'll see you guys in a second let's see who's sponsoring the show new season all right thank you to our partner nfl sunday ticket on youtube tv all right now so we got to talk about something real okay sunday nfl fomo you're at your home group chat is blowing up and you're not able to watch or tune in live it's the worst everybody's reacting to plays in real time you're looking at your phone you're seeing everything happening and you're just sitting there refreshing, like trying to be like, what's going on?
19:44That's exactly the feeling and why everyone is locked in with NFL Sunday ticket on YouTube TV. What do you possibly like about it?
19:53Jason Kelce:What do I possibly like about it? I possibly like that I can watch every fucking game that's happening on Sunday in one app. I don't even know if I'm allowed to swear in this app, so I apologize to YouTube TV, but your product's in fucking credible. You get to watch every game. It was so hard. It gets you so fired up trying to think about it back in the day, dude. Well, with YouTube TV, you can watch any game you want on Sunday. You can watch multiple games. You can watch four at a time. It's the best product that an NFL fan could ever want. It's incredible. Thank you to the NFL and YouTube TV for being so awesome.
20:27Jason Kelce:You can watch it anywhere, too. Like, I mean, my kids want to watch stuff on the TV, and they're tired of watching football. I can just go outside and take my laptop with me and watch NFL Sunday games on my fucking porch. It is that awesome. It is insane. So, yeah, it's a great product. All right. And with NFL Sunday ticket on YouTube TV, you get every game like Jason just alluded to. Every Sunday like Jason just alluded to. All in one place like Jason just alluded to. Yeah, no more missing moments. No more catching up on highlights two hours late. You're in it. That's right. And right now, new users get NFL Sunday tickets for just eight payments of$30 a month.
21:09Jason Kelce:You're goddamn right! I'm going to watch every NFL game for$30 a month! That's a no-brainer. Sunday just hits different when you can see everything. New users pay$240 or eight non-cancelable payments of$30 a month first charged at purchase. We're about two weeks out of the season kickoff.
21:53actually probably about a week and a half since we're playing on a Wednesday out in Australia. But the NFL season kicks off next Wednesday. So let's get into everything from training camp and the preseason.
Read the full transcript
22:05Jason Kelce:That's right. And let's start with you, Trap. Obviously, you guys just finished up St. Joe's training camp out there in the wonderful state of Missouri. Yeah. Officially on to the, you know, we're done preseason games now. Now we're focused on the regular season. You guys open it up with the Denver Broncos. Big opener. But let's rewind a little bit. How was it your 14th season at St. Joe's? Man, it's crazy. It's gone 14 years since the first time I walked up there. They all are the same. You know, Coach Reed runs this camp very, I mean, I've only been under one coach. And so I know the schedule, like the back of my hand now.
22:41The biggest difference is I'm pretty prompt and on time nowadays, my rookie year.
22:49Jason Kelce:I've seen you running down the hill with a couple of clips online, though. I'd say you're still that's just my excitement to get things going you know um you know excited for the day yes I would say year 14 uh I've been in the same dorm 214 over at Scantlin Hall for 14 years every year same room wow same room so that's kind of crazy if you're in suite 214 over there at Scantlin Hall. Just know we've slept in the same bed. Shit in the same toilet.
23:27Jason Kelce:Oh my gosh. It's a time in the season that you have to have. And I love that Coach Reed and the Chiefs still get away from the city. And we still take a trip away from the reality of things and get people away from the everyday that is Kansas City. I mean, you're there for six months, you know, at the least, if you're not even talking about the offseason. And it's almost like a sanctuary for me up there in St. Joe. And it's where I know I can just focus on my craft, getting my body as healthy as possible, all while making sure I come to work every single day. And I put the pads on when we're putting pads on to be able to build up the callus and the armor that you need to have to get through a 16, 17, 18 game season or 20 game season, whatever it is.
24:21And we're fortunate enough to play this year. It's that as well as the camaraderie and building that chemistry with the team. And I don't think you get as much of that by doing it in the same place that you do the entire way. I agree. Or if you don't, you have to go, you have to go to other areas to be able to incorporate that. You know, I think as I get older in my career, I really appreciate the fact that, you know, I did take those three weeks every single year to just focus on that and to be around the guys and to really just dive in and be all in on what we're about to, you know, endure together.
25:00Jason Kelce:Yeah, I understand. Agree. I mean, we went away in college to higher ground, We went away when I first was the Eagles with Andy to Lehigh those first couple of years. And I was one of the minority players that like really enjoyed going away for camp. I mean, I like there's just something about like even like going to St. Joe's this year. There's a different like feeling being at like a college like that, like even just walking around, seeing the buildings. The public is over there and it's open to people to just come on in and watch. uh i remember hitting a sled for the first time in front of like a bunch of dudes just drinking beer and enjoying how cool it was to watch nfl players practice and like even growing up for us that was one of the only things we saw from the browns we went to like a training camp practice because it was so hard to get tickets um so it's like you're forced to spend time around your teammates and like is it a little bit different now because there's like phones and people bring laptops and computers where like you can still kind of like disassociate yes but it definitely forces you to be together a little bit more um and i don't know i always enjoyed that aspect of going to like one of these colleges so the stuff that i've enjoyed is watching the big yeti like making some awesome moves and catches like there's been some playing some good old ball baby there's some been some really good clips of you yeah going up and getting the ball putting a little a little a little oh so just so you know this is one thing i liked watching this because you're my brother and i thought it was great i cannot stand when teams put these clips online because for every person my guy that's what i'm saying the eagles do it too and like i love the philadelphia eagles and i love watching the clips but like like they put out a clip of like jalen carter beating the shit out of like a guy who's trying his hardest to make the team it's like dude can we just like let practice be its own thing we don't need to show everything like yeah but i mean that's the the media is going to run with what they can get a hold of yeah you're right and it's open practice so there's no point even holding it back that's just one thing like to me if there's one safe space that a guy should feel good about like hey i'm going to try this new thing and like it might not work out but i'm going to try it in practice because it's not a game and then all of a sudden it's basically the old done enough but worse because now it lives forever on social media whatever um but it wasn't all good it did start off with a lot of i mean i the only way i could describe it is fat shaming my brother internet and uh sometimes you gotta have you know some extra i was listening yeah you know what i'm saying like the sourdough yeah baby everyone's we were in a world there for a little bit where they were saying fat is bad fat is just saying man sometimes you know fat could be good too what's crazy is it ai has gotten so good it was hard to tell cycling through those photos like what is the real photo yeah how fat is travis man is that fat yeah i saw him last week he looked way better than that he really had a weekend he's been wearing baggy shirts lately so maybe that's it even the route right there where i where i beat gilman who's a great player and he got me a lot of the times in camp too and you know you don't see everything uh that that's out there they just saw how slow that route was and what they don't realize is that that route is based off of a hundred other routes that I've ran that that camp and I'm setting up that move or I'm trying to entice that move and I'm going so slow it's like i'm feeding you what you what you want to try and jump the the route that you think i'm gonna run with the pace exactly exactly and it's messing with the pace man that shit was so fucking funny reading some of these comments on on that clip going viral and then obviously the the fat shaming and saying that i got a dad body it's all social media just having fun and uh and i i even laugh at this shit i mean it's fucking pure comedy well andy uh was quick to have your back he's like everybody's saying travis kelsey is a dad bod but he is in good shape and i noticed that yeah and listen if there's one person that wouldn't say that like if that wasn't true there's no chance andy's saying that right which but i think um yeah i know you put a lot of time i've came in way fatter than i am this year for sure yes yeah this is we're we're we're doing good so far.
29:40Jason Kelce:I was actually, that's so funny the difference of our positions. I was actually encouraged to be fat going into training camp. Kels, we know you're going to lose like 10 pounds in training camp. Please come in a little fat, sir. We need you to be fat. Let's get to some questions that Chiefs want to know. How's Pat doing? Oh, Pat in my homes, man. He's out there slinging the ball, man. I'll tell you what, obviously practice, it doesn't matter if your quarterback is coming off an injury or not. He's got on the special jersey. You've got to stay away from the QB. A lot of the season is dictated on how good that quarterback plays, and that's every team at every level, which is why there's that golden rule, don't touch the quarterback, don't hit the quarterback, because that's the guy that's going to help catapult your team into victory in a lot of different ways.
30:28And he's the most important position in football. That being said. That being said. Here comes the caveat. That being said, Pat looks fucking awesome right now. Right. I think right now he's on top of the reads. He's getting the ball out. Anytime he does get out of the pocket, he's making great throws. And I think it's going to take getting in there and feeling the bullets flying for him to feel comfortable in what he's doing. And it's our job as his teammates to make sure he feels comfortable whenever that opportunity comes.
31:00Jason Kelce:Are there things that you guys do to try and replicate? Because that's a huge part of Pat's game is being able to move and throw on the run and be creative like that. Pat and the trainers that he's worked with in the building and his QB coaches that he works with in the building as well as outside of the building have done everything they possibly can to be able to simulate those kind of throws. And he's done an unbelievable job at getting himself to this point. You know, I could see the hard work starting just weeks after the surgery that he had last year. And I could see the determination. I could see the frustration in his mind that it got to this point this year.
31:37And, you know, that's a huge reason why I'm still playing the game because I know that guy, I want to be there for that guy, you know, in every aspect of the game. And I think that's exciting coming into the year. We get a fresh start and we're a motivated group, baby. You're not just returning with Pat Mahomes.
31:57Jason Kelce:You're also returning with a new old offensive coordinator or former offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs, and that is Eric Biennemi. What has it been like having EB back in the building? It's a breath of fucking fresh air, man. I just love it, man. And this has nothing to do with who was on the staff last year. It's just what Biennemi brings to the table and how he goes about it, man. And he's holding everybody accountable, me included. He's gotten on my ass a few times, got me going on days that I needed it, and I love him for it. And if you take the right mentality with a coach like this, knowing that his intentions are to make this team the greatest team he could possibly make it.
32:39And sometimes that that comes with uncomfortable talks and uncomfortable interactions. And as long as you know that where his intentions are and you don't, you know, you don't take things the wrong way or when you're feeling shitty, you don't let those negative emotions get to you and you you take coaching the right way. man alive you could see some of this kind of culture change back into into what it was and we need to keep working on that it's not a fixed thing right now it's a it's a year-long thing and we're gonna have ups and downs in the season where I'm sure everybody will need some sort of accountability to be held in that room you know whatever room they're in if that makes sense just from who he is you know I've known him for 14 years now and um I know his intentions I know what he brings to the table and i'm fucking fired up to have him back in the building man what he
33:31Jason Kelce:brings from like a disciplinary leadership like you know tell it how it is like kind of coach and you like are happy to have that voice back is there another part of it that like the thing i'm excited about is i think in the nfl today like everybody plays the shell or at least they start in like this like too deep safety look and roll late like most of the best offenses have an established run game and i think eb being a former running back does he bring an edge of like a mentality and also like a knowledge of that part of the game that i think you guys could benefit from yeah i think uh i think we all know that old ball coach that'll tell you that we got to run it down this motherfucker's face yeah and there's the mentality that comes with that there's a there's there's a if you say that every day that we put on pads and then you call the plays where we have to literally run it through a motherfucker's face yeah you start to create a fucking mentality and a mindset that i have no other option other than run through this motherfucker's face he's told it to me 10 times now that's what i'm saying so you so you start to incorporate that and it starts to become who you are and then you you become trained in that regard so that in the fourth quarter of week 10 when this team has seen this play not only twice this game but 10 other games that you've already played and they know it's coming because you're in the same formation and you're you're doing the same motion you're you're gonna be ready to run it through this motherfucker's face you know and and i think i think that's something that you can't you can't you don't get out of just anybody you you need somebody that has that authority that has that that has that discipline in them that has that ability to not only be relatable to you and motivating to you but to be able to get that out of you when it's not easy to do that and that's That's something that EB has always been unbelievable at.
35:24Jason Kelce:Well, part of running it through a motherfucker's face is having a guy that can run it through your fucking face. You guys got one of those in. We got a few. You have a few. And you've had a few in the past, too. Yeah, Kareem will run that shit through a motherfucker's face, for sure. This, and Pop, like, I mean, those feet would be churning. Either way, you got a really special one now. Kenneth Walker comes in, fresh off the Super Bowl run. What has it been like at practice watching him? What does he bring to the Chiefs this year? I'll tell you what, man, he brings leadership right away. I was not thinking you were going to go there first.
35:54Jason Kelce:Okay, all right. First thing I saw was his leadership and how he approached practice. His practice habits were second to none. I mean, this guy finishes every fucking play like it is a game situation. Every time he touches the ball, it is a game tempo. It is a game alert, like attention to detail. And how he does that, you can't look at him and be like, Like, oh, man, like you have to match that energy every time you touch the ball or you're just going to feel like you're not living up to that expectation of how we do things. Yes. And for him to be, you know, one of our biggest weapons right now and the guy that, you know, is going to get, you know, the majority that carries throughout the season.
36:38And for him to practice like that says a lot about who he is as a person and how he likes to attack his job and how professional he is. and then you see what he does with the football in his hands and you're just like oh yeah this this guy's is as special as it gets in the running back room um both in the run game and the pass
36:55Jason Kelce:game we got the box situated with kenneth walker yourself pat what's going on out at the receiver position is one of the things i'm waiting to see what happens obviously rasheed rice has been really really good the guy i'm excited to watch i mean worthy from last year you got a number of Oh, nice, man. Give it a little bear. Come on now. Let's go. I've been hearing good things. I've been hearing good things. Steve Smith went on the record. Very good receiver himself. As Cyrus Allen is going to eventually be, in my humble opinion, the number one wide receiver. I'll tell you what, that's that's saying a lot from Steve from.
37:33If you're hearing that from Steve Smith, man, you're you're fucking you're opening some eyes at training camp. And, you know, he got a little banged up early on. So he's getting back off of, you know, he's getting back into the swing of things. But man, when he's healthy and when we're rolling, man, he is a dog. And it's fun to watch him just kind of play free. And that's the biggest thing as a young guy is just being able to go out there and play free. You're not thinking about all the little things and all the notes and the detail that the coaches are stressing. And it'll get easier for him as we get a complete game plan for an entire week.
38:10and he can just focus on that game plan. I mean, there's a lot. There's fucking, there's so many plays that you're just getting thrown at you and so many details and they all conflict each other at times, especially towards the end of camp.
38:23Jason Kelce:Well, especially a defense like Spags, who's going to be being multiple and doing all sorts of different things as well. Yeah, exactly. So everything's going to get a lot easier mentally going into week one and I'm excited for him to be able to, you know, get back to playing free and get back to just going out there and playing football, man. But he is an absolute weapon, and you hear that from everybody in the building. Anybody that's been to camp has seen him making unbelievable catches, and his routes are – he has his own unique feel to running routes, and when you have a guy that understands that naturally, man, it's a special thing, man.
38:57We're going to have an unbelievable wideout room, though. I mean, I have huge expectations that Xavier Worthy is going to take that next step and take it a step further in terms of his ability to get – No doubt. Listen, the athleticism is second to none in the league. And when you see how he how he trains his mind through practice, a huge shout out to Coach O'Shea, our new wide receiver coach coming in and being able to give him a little taste of, you know, just, you know, what he knows and helping him understand some things as well. And right now, the receiver room with those two, Rasheed, Tyquan Thornton, I mean, we got some guys that can go up top and some guys that can rock you up for sure.
39:42Jason Kelce:That covers the offense. How's Spaggs looking? How's the defense looking? Stelcold is always going to be Chris Jones, man. He's going to be the fucking anchor. And the guy may just create havoc in the middle of the field. But he's got another just absolute dog. dog uh he's a rookie Peter Woods he's a rookie but he's got an absolute dog in the run game and pass game man this guy is he's he's violent violent hands and he might not have the 6-5 frame that Chris Jones has man but he's he's he's finding ways to leverage his ability his feet his understanding of football it seems like he's always a step ahead of where the ball's going um and then on top of that man he is a force so I'm excited for Peter Woods on top of that the outside everyone's seen our Mason Thomas get to the quarterback a little bit here in the preseason showing his athleticism his ability to you know get to the QB or just create havoc himself and our our first overall pick Delane is gonna is he's gonna be a perfect piece for Spags to be able to use out there on the edge at corner a guy that's willing to come down and and shoot his gun in the run game as well as one of that most athletic DBs I've seen in a long time out there So defense seems to be primed.
40:56Offense seems to be primed. And I'm excited to go into this season with the pieces that we got, baby.
41:01Jason Kelce:I'm excited, too, because Monday night football, baby. That's right. The Chiefs open the regular season on Monday night football. So I get to come watch against the Denver Broncos. I got to ask. It is the one topic, everybody. I think it's been all but confirmed. But I will ask you, knowing that Andy loves when players comment on other players' injuries. Is Pat going to start game one? That's a good question. All right. We'll move on. I might have to ask that question. I don't know. All right. We'll move on. We'll move on. We'll move on. That's a great question. All right, Jason. We talked about some Chiefs camp.
41:38Let's talk some Eagles camp. Ooh, please. For all our Philly listeners and everybody interested in what the old gang green has got going on out there in Philly. Everyone saw Coach Kels out there, first off. Coach Kels. Coach Kels, baby. I mean, it's only a matter of time. Jason just puts on the old aviators, the old sweater, gets some slacks on, and wait, what is this?
42:02Jason Kelce:It's footage from me talking to Cam Juergens, it looks like. Oh, yeah, nice, nice, nice. I was like, I thought that was you back in pads with the jersey rolled up. I'm like, what in the world is going on here? I did rock the same look as Cam does, yeah, for sure. Yeah, that's a banger. How was it being back at camp and being around the locker room and the guys? Yeah, I mean, I just love being at training camp. I don't know what it is. It's like the energy of it. There's a lot of guys trying to realize their dream. There's excitement for the season. The best, man. And I felt the same way going to your guys' one practice that I went to.
42:37Jason Kelce:I mean, even just watching 9-on-7 drill and hearing the grunts. Just like for some – I'm like, oh, man, this is like – I'm like getting goosebumps hearing men grunt, but it was great. And obviously, you know, Nick Sirianni is still there. There's still a lot of continuity there, but there is a new offense. There's a new offensive line coach. Obviously Jeff Stoutland stepped down. So I was just curious to see how they're doing things. Like I kind of, I want to continue learning about the game. That's my selfish reason for being able to go down there and take advantage of like trying to, you know, this offense that they're running now with Mannion has been something that has spread across the NFL for a reason that it's really successful and really good.
43:19Jason Kelce:And, um, but something that I never played in. So you had to go down there, learn a little bit of it. Obviously I wasn't down there a ton, so I didn't get to learn like everything, uh, but it was cool. And then obviously Cooper, the new offensive line coach, coach Coop, uh, hearing how they teach things, the different techniques in this type of system, all that stuff. And then being able to help guys in any way I could, which was, you know, not as much as I would want to be. Like I would be awesome to be out there every day. Like there is something that's great about being on a field with guys and seeing the progress, right.
43:52Jason Kelce:Seeing a guy like Willie Lampkin, like Willie, I mean, I know we already got it in the rundown, but I mean, dude, the guy's like five 11, like there's no way he should be able to play in the NFL and to see like how he uses his hips, how he uses his feet, the energy and effort that he plays with. Like, I, I love watching that. I love being around my former teammates, you know, Cam and, and, and, and Dickerson and Malata and Lane and Steen. It's just awesome to be out there. Very much a privilege to be out there with those guys when I can. And it was fun. It was a great time. Hell yeah. Well, Eagles posted a clip from Jalen Hurts' point of view.
44:32Why don't we go ahead and play a little bit of this?
44:35Jason Kelce:So they got these cameras on the quarterback's head now to see how he's using his eyes and to see what he's seeing. And this went viral, and I think it shocked a lot of people of what the perspective is from the quarterback position, which I'd be curious. I didn't ask Jalen this, but I'd be curious to ask Jalen or Pat or any quarterback, how accurate is this to what you see? It's very accurate. But don't you see more peripheral? Oh, of course. Yeah, the camera is shut off from there. But in terms of looking forward and trying to see through human beings to see the human beings beyond them like that that was very yeah that was I thought it was pretty cool I don't know if you can necessarily get like better like understanding from it you know what I mean like I don't know how it helps you become better from that point of view more than like just watching it from like the sky view I think the sky view tells you more and you can see things more clear and things like that I think it's I think it's definitely a cool view for like anybody see the point of like or like to see that perspective i think it's i think it's a cool thing in terms of like social stuff but yeah i don't actually know what they use that camera i know that they're doing more progression stuff so i would imagine they probably use it for like making sure your eyes are in the right place to start the play and it goes there's so much to the eye like you said the peripheral like i can see here and i'm feeling everything over here like it's like yeah there's so much in terms of your vision that you're and and what you're doing pre-snap that give you your reasoning for why you're doing what you're doing with the ball you know what i mean so it's either way it's that was a cool ass clip to see for sure especially yeah i mean when you see the guy you know throw to a guy coming out of the screen you're coming into the screen like how do you see that guy you know he anticipated him being there it is part of the play yeah yeah i got you and it was it was cool seeing i think a lot of people appreciate how hard it is to play that position and like how much you're anticipating in like doing things that really a lot of times a quarterback probably isn't seeing fully right like you're you're seeing with your eyes you're but you're seeing a lot and you're anticipating what you know everybody's going to be the timing which they're going to be there utilizing that combined with your footwork and everything and it's just there's a lot to that position and it's it's really hard and it's always good to see fans understand that it's fucking hard um especially that one um we talk about a few of your uh eagles uh training camp favorites we just talked about willie lampkin man the guy's 5 11 uh smallest lineman in the nfl uh you've tweeted about it there's the obviously the highlight versus the ravens um yeah dude and he did it last year this kid's been the same kid nothing's changed you know obviously he's getting older and he's going to get better with technique and like aiming points and things like that but the last year he was a dog and that's why the eagles claimed him from the uh from the ramps right like brian baldinger was pointing out clips last offseason online and i'm like dude this kid is a beast like i just whenever somebody finishes it's something that i think stands out i tell rookies this every year rookies come up to me like man how do i make the team like i just want to like how what do i do and i'm like dude you gotta stand out you gotta do something and everybody stands out in their own unique way Like, I don't know what your traits are.
47:58Jason Kelce:If you're really smart, maybe you'll stand out in the meeting room. Maybe if you're real strong, you'll stand out in the weight room. Maybe if you're real – like a really good, like, technique player, that'll show up on film. The one thing that it shows up with everybody is your effort. That you can control. If you finish harder than everybody else, that stands out to coaches. And they love it. And every time they see it on tape, they're going to notice it, and they're going to be like, man, that dude wants it. He loves the game. he loves to compete and like does it annoy teammates at times yeah of course right but that's dude this is part of it like you know you can't brother-in-law everything and i just i like i i dig the kid's mentality he's a wrestler everything about him says that he shouldn't be able to play in the nfl if somebody came up to me like hey i got a son that's 5 11 he has aspirations of playing the nfl before willie lampkin i would have said you know he probably should be happy playing college football right just being that 5 11 at o-line yeah yeah i mean the the chance i don't know the last time this has happened and not only is he playing it but he is stout he plays it at a high level every time he gets an opportunity continues to show it and it's one of those where like every time a coach like what do you think william can well i mean he's he's a really good player but like the size is going to come up and it's going to rear its head and it continually doesn't even when he's playing guys like jordan davis and the jaylen carters who are massively like more gifted than he am in size and i just you know i like anybody and respect anybody that can overcome odds like that and be a special player now he hasn't done it in like a starting sense yet like still waiting to see what that would look like if that does happen but just so happy uh to see and that type of effort in person is infectious that's the other thing i think i just love that he's a philadelphia eagle because i think he represents what being an eagle is important and why it's awesome that's awesome man they got a great room obviously the five starters excited with cam uh land and steen steen has had a fantastic training camp going up against one of the best like defensive linemen every single day in jalen carter in the nfl and he has battled his ass off i think he's looked outstanding lane is obviously back jordan a lot of can't wait to see what this run game and system looks like underneath a lot of the outside zone boots like play actions um it's it was it was a very fun camp to be a part of and watching uh and a lot of other guys stood out too i'm pointing out willie just because that was a guy that that's the guy i asked about yeah that's who i'm also gonna ask you about a guy that just announced this probably his last year which is uh big lane johnson six five big lane johnson man and say it ain't so Lane.
50:41You can keep going, baby. Yeah, I mean, I think he's one of the best guys to have in an organization for as long as he's been there, let alone one of the best guys out there on the football field this year is going to be Lane Johnson.
50:56Jason Kelce:It feels good that Lane is finally, at least locally, I don't even think it's still happening nationally, being appreciated for how unbelievably dominant he's been in the NFL. It's pretty close, yeah. Yeah, but listen, I made a bunch of all pros, right? Because I played the center position. And most people couldn't even name 30 centers in the NFL outside of their starter and maybe one other, right? Like most NFL fans. So I played a position where there's not a lot of notoriety in most of the guys in the league. And Lane is playing a position where people are drafting first-round picks every year.
51:35Jason Kelce:and there's big names at it at the tackle position, at least for the offensive line. Obviously different than like skill positions, but like the most notable player on almost everybody's offensive line is a tackle. So I just feel like he hasn't had like the notoriety of being the best pass blocking tackle in the NFL because he fights some of these political things of like first round picks and stuff like that. But like if you look at every metric and like being on an island, drop back pass how long quarterbacks hold on to the ball all that stuff nobody's really done it at a better level from a pass protection standpoint than lane johnson and you press play on that fucking film you're gonna see how good lane johnson is dog so there ain't no fucking arguing that i'm happy that it's finally being recognized i'm happy that you know if this is his last year i know he said it's his last year but listen you have some success and maybe you feel pretty good but regardless um he's had an incredible career can't wait to see the year that he has and um you know it's just he's been such a phenomenal player and person in that building oh yeah uh you know he was an incredible teammate to me so um you know excited to watch lane in his last run uh no doubt about it fuck yeah yeah any of the uh skill positions uh stand out to you this year at training camp i mean all the ones that you you know are great i mean we got the opportunity to look at a lot of the receivers uh in the like you know davante smith was hurt for a large portion of training camp as well as makai lemon so we got to see darius cooper another undrafted guy ended up making the roster like have a really good training camp we got to see uh don'tavian uh is it don'tavian or don'tary uh number 13 dude he's a beast i was like where the fuck did that guy come from so he was in green bay yeah he was in green bay and he came to philly look it up yeah he had some success in green bay too so everybody coming out of green bay was like this dude's actually like a player like he's a baller and then he got to philly and even at ota's guys like yo this dude can play right and then he goes on and shows it for a lot of training camp as well like very very skilled player so there's a lot of depth at the receiver position now um obviously everybody's talking about makai lemon didn't have the best first preseason game i mean it's one fucking preseason game people like can we not he didn't even practice for all the training camp uh let's let the kid have a fucking preseason man exactly so regardless i i think you know they have really really good skill position players saquon barkley is back uh the tight end room they've grown it right like dallas goddard now you got the johnny munt guy who's a blocker, like, will fucking put his face into people.
54:23Jason Kelce:I'm excited to see what this offense looks like. I'm excited to see a new under center, more motions, more shifts, more formations, and what the Eagles are going to do. Because they've been saying they've been holding back a lot in the preseason, right? They don't want to tip off. It's their competitive advantage to not show that until the season games start rolling around. So I can't wait to see what this thing is actually going to look like, how Sean Mannion does, how Jalen Hurts does in a new system like this. The defense is, I mean, they've been pretty damn good already. So, all right. Yeah, they got some pretty good players over there.
55:02Pretty good coach, pretty good players. All right, let's keep this thing moving. Other big news in the NFL, Aaron Donald is officially back with the Rams after taking a two-year, two years to walk away from the game. Kind of, who knows, maybe recharge, maybe really think about retirement and maybe never playing again to all of a sudden Miles Garrett is a part of the defensive line room. And it's looking like there's a lot more reasons to come back, I guess. I don't know. It's been pretty cool to follow along what the Rams have got going out there. A lot of big-name guys, man. I know they got my guy Trent McDuffie out there and really just look like a veteran team with a lot of proven, proven all-stars, man.
55:43Jason Kelce:Yeah, I mean, the last time the Rams went out and acquired a super team, they won a Super Bowl, right? Like that happened. That's, I mean, they spent a bunch of money for it, and they had to kind of, it took some time to rebuild the ability to build another super team, but they've done it again. Not only a super team, they've taken the best two physical specimen defense alignment of my era of football. And then, like, they still have other, like, Kobe Turner was a great player for them last year. A really good three technique. uh byron is it byron young on the outside and then fisk those guys run games really well so like i start to think about how they're going to utilize all five of these guys puna ford great run stopper i don't know how much of the third down he's going to see with these kind of horses but i know you puna you're you're fucking awesome respect the shit out of your game anyways i start thinking like what do you do to do this because and people are like oh like ad like we we got to get kale center guys i didn't do shit against aaron donald he was a three technique all i did was literally slide and help the guard that's what i did we double teamed him every fucking snap we did not leave him one-on-one i never played another game chris jones was the only other d tackle really that we played where we're like hey we got to make sure we're limiting his one-on-one reps and it was even magnified where like the only time we didn't double team it was like a five-man protection was like i'm sorry guys like i can't i gotta go over here i can't help you yeah i'm like if if the quarterbacks hot over here we're fucked so i got i gotta go this way like even if it was a five man like picture this traps five big guys right six man protection with the running back every team in america against any other team you're making a 5-0 call or a poker like the the five of his line we're gonna block the five big guys yeah we said fuck that we're sliding to Aaron Donald like back you got the Sam you got the 275 pound Sam because that's an easier matchup this week that's crazy so like this is the reality of like what we went through and how we changed our protections throughout this week and to be honest like Wade Phillips like Staley uh he most are they didn't do a lot of blitzes off of that to make you worried about not doubling Aaron if I'm Shula I'm bringing four away from AD four away from Miles to make the quarterback and center like respect and just do a little bit of it you don't need to do a lot just sprinkle it in one or two times a game bring a fire zone over here that makes me like oh shit I can't just double Aaron I can't just do that yeah yeah so I I'll be very curious are they going to put them on the same side let Fisk and Young run games on the other side are they going to put of both inside.
58:27I would assume nowadays, you got to do a little bit of everything.
58:32Jason Kelce:The bottom line is, when you get ready to play really good players, you try to limit the one-on-one opportunities, right? So you slide to an interior player. If you got a great edge player, you can try and slide to them. Sometimes that's hard when there's a three technique to get out there to help the tackle. So you put chips and slams. All of these things really bog down what you want to do offensively. It makes you alter what you want to do. Like the best thing you can do against a premier edge rusher like Miles Garrett is to put a tight end in front of him and to chip him because his get off is so good.
59:07Jason Kelce:Make him a little bit slower off the ball. Now, all of a sudden, the tight end is slower into his route. We're losing another guy out there. It's it just it gunks everything up, but it's things you have to do. If I'm getting ready for these guys, I'm still trying to double Aaron. I'm building all the play actions in where I'm getting a double on Aaron and trying to get a double on Miles as often as I can. I'm putting in cut pros. I'm putting in screens. I'm putting in cracks. Anything I can to try and get in these dudes head. And all of that happens and it ends up, you realize after you try and do all this, that, oh man, we're not who we are.
59:43Jason Kelce:So it's, it's, it is so hard. I can't fucking wait to watch this. I really cannot. And listen, the Eagles play in the week four. We get it first game. First game? First game. Los Angeles Rams. You guys are playing Denver. I think 49ers. No, no, no. We get to see it as a fan. We all get to see it. Yeah. I'm a fan first. Sorry. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, I don't get to see it until like Christmas. Yeah, and the Eagles get to see it week four. And listen, we don't back down from anybody, but I can't wait to watch this. I'm looking. As an offensive line, defensive line, nerd. I love playing the best. I want to fucking play the best oh my gosh I might do some tape bring it in come on should we do some tape breakdown of what how we used to it was the easiest game plan ever where's 99 on I'm going that way what if they're blitzing over there that would always be the fun one we're going into the meeting and it's like alright Kels here's the game plan alright yeah I'm gonna slide to 99 I don't give a fuck what the what y 'all are talking about but if you want something else you might put a different guy in the center I'm going over here because this guard is shitting down his leg and we're not going to let this guy ruin the fucking game and then aaron's in the middle of the game he's like oh kels why yeah stop doubling me stop don't mean no aaron no we are going to double you and don't be mad at me i hated playing kelsey's little fast ass i mean i didn't do shit i'll get over there quick as quick as i could had to go behind go ahead to go behind the guard sometimes and he beat the guard around the edge nice all right well it'll be fun to uh see how all that unfolds man congrats to the rams and you know congrats to aaron man there's got to be a fucking let's just crown him let's just crown him now we don't even need to play the games moving on do we want to talk about maybe the wildest preseason story or what oh the 49ers yeah per the fbi the federal bureau of investigation yep man posing as a san francisco 49er charged with defrauding over two dozen women out of more than 1.3 million dollars yeah yeah 1.3 million dollars yeah it's i'll be honest it's hard to feel bad when it's as easy as just googling have you seen the videos have you seen any of this no that's what i'm saying i have not seen i want to see what the what the what he looks like i I don't know.
1:02:15It might have been the video. I should do it.
1:02:18Jason Kelce:Like, listen, I'm not. I'm anti-fraud. I'm anti-fraud. Let's see.
1:02:30I mean,
1:02:33Jason Kelce:ladies, the first, the first. Let's go. Let's go. So he's a receiver, but he's also a defensive back doing a back pedal drill, pulling a sled. Listen, man, I got the Lambo. hey yeah i mean hey got it
1:02:53Jason Kelce:karaoke it's not a bad karaoke that's that's a neat it's not a bad karaoke i'll give it's not an impressive karaoke but it's not a bag well actually it is a pretty bad karaoke actually seeing it up closer now it's fucking hilarious man this dude literally got off man god damn it You got to show the day he signed his contract. Here it goes. I'm ready. You ready for the season?
1:03:21Go ahead and get this over with. Who you signing with? Who you signing with? Niner. You know the Niner gang. Who you signing with? You know the Niner gang. Sign the contract.
1:03:34Jason Kelce:Nice stuff. You know what I'm saying? We good to go. Slight work. Get ready to start the season. anything you can say for the fans look out number seven last name love 6-5-2-10 I'm out dude wild receiver yes sir who the fuck is the cameraman oh yeah he had an accomplice I guess he would use his friend as his financial advisor and call him to shoot the pitch on what these women were investing in. I think that's what I've read. Can somebody come in and tell me if I'm false on that? I don't want to give out any false information per the FBI. No, you're correct. Yeah, I believe that was that thought.
1:04:24He's been tracking this case for 48 hours. You are correct, sir. Claimed to have been born in Switzerland. Claimed to be cousins with Julian and Jordan Love because he used the last name Love. I like that one. That's clever.
1:04:40Jason Kelce:Yeah, he does look like them too. All right, let's keep going here. What's your favorite lie of this list? Because I'll tell you mine. All right, claims to have been undrafted but worked his way onto the team. Okay. When asked why he wasn't currently on the team, claimed there are three components to clearing waivers in the NFL. Physical, mental, and emotional. Wow. Which is not mental. That's an emotionalism. Emotional is completely different. completely different it's your head and your heart it's your head you can't measure those he told women he did not clear waivers because he broke his pinky so he was stuck on stuck with the 49ers okay um claims he was the majority shareholder of a gucci store on sax fifth avenue because that's my favorite those are no this is my favorite this next one is my favorite one What does a majority shareholder of a Gucci store mean?
1:05:35Jason Kelce:I guess you can franchise. Are there shareholders of Gucci stores? But Saks Fifth Avenue is another store. Pacific stores. Like, can you? You can franchise a store, but you have to have shareholders. It's got to go. Are there IPOs of every Gucci store? Every Gucci store opens and has an IPO. I get in early on Gucci. Oh, my God. This is fucking hilarious, man. He got them. A Thanksgiving turkey giveaway. Is my favorite. You know how. You know.
1:06:17Jason Kelce:He tried to do Jack City it. I mean, this is. Oh, my gosh. He finessed people for thousands of dollars and then faked the turkey giveaway, man. You couldn't just give away some turkeys, dog? God, yeah, they would have been on to you. He took so many photos in that Niners helmet. That Niners helmet is legendary, man. Even the mouthpiece he's got on it. You got to make sure you get the mouthpiece. I need to know what he spent on fanatics. What was his bill every month for this Niners game? Oh, my gosh. Anyways, please, fellas. How do you help people not get scammed by a fake NFL player? how do you have have fun here's the thing laughing at the people that actually believe this man was in the nfl the only thing that's a crimable offense is the defrauding of like a 100 yes you can lie about being on you can't lie about your shareholders and your store yeah you can't be doing or in like fake investments that don't exist and taking people's money um yeah i mean whatever floats your boat finds a lost remote outside of defrauding yeah i just the sociopath and like to be to this level to like make this stuff up is just fucking crazy to me um i i also want to know who the cameraman is who the other like there's there's a crew here that was involved in this who's throwing him the football who's show yourself who else is a part of this I just can't get over.
1:07:55Jason Kelce:Like, you're just going to give$50 ,000 without Googling the guy's name and find – like, what happened before this was noteworthy? Like, did he have, like, some, like, internet stuff, like, fabricated as well? So if you Googled his name, it would show up? If he did, man, hats off to him, man. Are women aware that, like, players – even if you're a practice squad player and you're, like, very, like, not well-known, typically those guys were also at least some point really good college players and like there's still like documentation that they are on the team he's from switzerland man he's an international guy there would still be stories of like i just there's none of this uh i mean it's completely i mean it's it's absolutely crazy that someone would do this and also like i mean we gotta be smarter women i'm just gonna put it out there we gotta be smarter we gotta be able to sniff through this one all right because i'm telling you this is what happened women are getting money now they're like yeah we gotta ask moving up the job force they're not they don't know like men have been getting defrauded with ponzi schemes and women for a very long time like this is a tale as old as time for men to be fooled you need to start as women now that you're getting money and being you need to understand there are pieces of shit out there that will lie oh man that's too funny all right let's get to some no dumb questions all righty before we get out of here we're gonna answer some of our no dumb questions uh and maybe the question all 90 percenters want to know is where is jason gonna blew himself at oh my gosh that's right They're on to you, Jason.
1:09:43They are.
1:09:43Jason Kelce:They're very on to me. They're on to you. I mean, I'm self-onto myself. You're on to me. Everybody knows. I will be doing Blue Band Group. I will do it. I mean, listen, I lost a bet. So the choice is yours as to when you would like this to take place. I think we should take it to the 92 percenters. 92 percenters. By the time it came out that you were going to the course and going to American Century, we were already done recording. so I couldn't say that there was a asterisk about this entire bet because you were injured yeah you were injured no no no I didn't I would have I would have claimed that beforehand I never claimed that a damn listen I'm not trying to but I was the one like this seems like an unfair bet at this point like it's a fair bet if you're going in full strength and you want to wish on a star that you'll be able to get into the positive travis i was minus 34 it doesn't matter if my hand was healthy let's not make excuses this is what i was trying to tell you i'm gonna be the positive just get ready because i'm making the same fucking bet next year i'm gonna be in the goddamn positive up in tahoe and i lost this one and i'm gonna pay the price but i don't know when should i do it as a question am i doing it next week what episode would you like me to be blue at this is it's your oyster that we're living in it's not up to the 90 percenters you i lost the bet to travis kelsey i thought it might be fun to be blue at tahoe but oh man i also think i'd be funny sweating and well i'm fine with that that's gonna happen regardless i'm not but i i think um the blue dye coming into your eyes uh that sounds that sounds a bit it don't even release it on the podcast because we want the we want it to be a surprise i feel like for 90 percenters tuning in right all right i thought i could throw it to the 92 percenters but it sounds like well if you want you can do whatever you want i mean it's your it's your that's my bet man i've never won a i've never won a bet like this i've always lost these bets you don't even have to decide it now it's whatever you want whatever you want to say we'll figure this out outside of this conversation you are doing it you are a man of your word um and we're going to keep it a fun surprise for everybody on the show we'll find a we'll find a perfect time for me to make jason have to answer this is bets all right that'll be fun at least i'm not ripping off a speedo and being labeled uh things on the internet all right last thing before we close out the nfl season is here and that means jason has a brand new nfl sunday ticket commercial that's right epic i'll tell you what you guys are getting fucking good at this shit ever since we started incorporating more kylie it's all of a sudden they've been getting better touche she's a superstar honestly She's so goddamn good.

1:15:34Jason Kelce:a lot of the things that i dislike about modern disney movies music is everybody is really tried to hop on the hamilton vibe which is like very like descriptive of the song and the song like it's like it's like telling you what's happening word for word rather than being an overarching like thematic it's very direct it's a very it's a very direct lyricist yes it works really well for hamilton and i'm not like trying like far be it for me to not limit well but i it's not my i just don't like that kind of music in disney films i like when like the music stands out like without really even needing to see the film it's almost just emotional motivation your lyrics let's get down to business
1:16:31to defeat that one's a banger
