In short

New Heights (Ep 204) mixes NFL talk with sponsor segments and a “football justice system” bit. Main football discussion covers Travis Kelsey’s Chiefs win over the Dolphins (24-10), the Eagles’ 7-27 loss to the Bears on Monday Night Football, and an NFL “PI problem”/penalty analytics angle. A major interview segment features 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk addressing his “beer” celebration fine.

Guests (and backgrounds)

  • Kyle Juszczyk: 49ers fullback, two-time First Team All-Pro, 10-time Pro Bowler; known for Shanahan-system versatility (blocking, receiving, lining up in multiple spots).
  • Jamie Foxx: Mentioned as an upcoming interview guest (new stand-up special), but not actually interviewed in the provided transcript.

Key claims

  • Juszczyk says the NFL fined him for an end-zone celebration because it looked like a full “chug” of beer (not “juice”), despite beer being everywhere in stadiums as a sponsor tie-in.
  • He argues fullback usage is cyclical: as defenses get smaller/faster, offenses counter with more 13/22 personnel and downhill power.
  • Travis Kelsey claims Chiefs’ offense is “rolling” and emphasizes finishing drives, staying on blocks through the whistle, and cleaning up penalties.

Notable examples

  • Chiefs in Miami: 24-10; early 48-yard catch; multiple long drives; penalties on both sides.
  • Eagles-Bears: Case Keenum looked sharp; Eagles’ defense struggled vs Ben Johnson’s scheme; Jalen Hurts left with a sideline hit, Dalton threw an interception; discussion of DPI/penalty swings and 14 TDs erased by penalties through three weeks.

0:00Usually the conversation around here is about football. Today the topic is gas for one of the sponsors, specifically Mobile Supreme Plus Premium Gasoline. Let's start with the fact that Mobile Supreme Plus Premium is amazing. It keeps engines three times cleaner so engines perform better for better gas mileage. Just ask motorsports legend Shirley Cha-Cha Muldowney. She raced top fuel dragsters in the 70s, so she knows a thing or two about gasoline. She also knows a thing or two about the 70s, so if there are any questions about leisure suits, vinyl, or fondue, fire away. One might wonder why they call her Cha-Cha.

0:32Like, is it a family name or a marketing ploy? Or maybe she thought it sounded cool. It's very curious. Getting back to fuel, Shirley and the team highly recommend Mobile Supreme Plus Premium Gas because it keeps engines three times cleaner for better performance and gas mileage. By the way, Cha-Cha Muldowney, she drove a pink car. Mobile. Legendary. Three times cleaner compared to mobile regular gas and port fuel injected engines. Actual results may vary. Visit mobilefuels.com for details. The wrongs we must right. The fights we must win. The future we must secure together for our nation. This is what's in front of us.

1:11This determines what's next for all of us. We are Marines. We were made for this. I call Ray Lewis. Fox, what's up, Fox? What up with it, baby? I said, this dude on the beat say he run a four deuce. He said, Fox, what his ass look like? I said, hold on, hold on. Hold on, hold on. How did we get to there? He said, Fox, if he run a four deuce, we can use him. Look at his ass. So I tell the dude, I said, hey, man, did you turn around? Did you turn around? You bend over a little bit. I said, man, he ain't got no ass. Fox, he lying. I said, cool.

5:03Jason Kelce:For all the details, you can check out our Out of the House page on the Kelsey Clubhouse. Again, October 18th, Arrowhead, Lot M, free, 11-3. How about it, man? What a plug. Jason dropped some teach tape about the Eagles O-line. And, man, it was what the people were looking for, man. Jason loves to talk ball, and you get all of Jason Kelsey talking about the Eagles offensive line and how they're playing this year. And it's pretty cool. A lot of the successful plays down in the red zone. Even Jalen finding – Dontavian Wicks. There you go. That guy. He had a pretty fucking good game. Really every single game.

5:44He's really showing up. He's been awesome so far. Big time receiver.

5:48Jason Kelce:Yes. He came home from Green Bay. Him and Jalen started getting some chemistry. I was hearing noise about the Eagles being excited to see him play, even in OTAs and all that stuff. Yeah, I mean, listen, it's a little dated now. Obviously, the Eagles just played the Bears, so it's not the same. But the thing I really liked was, you know, watching and putting together that tape. You see the outside zone play, and it's close to being there, right? Steen just needs to get a little bit wider on his angle. Flash forward to this Monday night. Steen was taking great – they were all taking great angles.

6:17Jason Kelce:They really ran outside zone well for the majority of the night. They got it stuffed a couple times, but, I mean, had a lot of really big drives. If it wasn't for some penalties and holding calls, the run game was clicking for a lot of that game. They kind of shot themselves in the foot. We're going to get to that later. But either way, I think we're going to do some more of this tapes breakdown. Isn't always going to be Eagle. We'd love to dive into things happening across the league. We have another one coming up. I've always been interested in analytics. The guy I know most, Travis, in the analytics world, Ryan Pagnetti.

6:50Jason Kelce:He's turned into a pretty big figure online. He was the guy that tweeted about the field goal situation over in New England, pointed out the scoreboard, having the field goal posts up and behind it. Anyways, he was with the Eagles for a long time. He was a big reason why we started running quarterback sneaks and going forward on fourth down back when Doug was first brought on as to be the head coach. So always have vibed with Ryan in a lot of these decisions and ways that he thinks about the game from a numbers standpoint. So we have a special episode coming out later this week with Ryan Pagnetti who's going to break down analytics game, which is something that I, even after sitting down, is a world I still want to know more about.

7:31Jason Kelce:It is insane how much these numbers go into it. And that's the thing. Everyone hears analytics and they kind of know, yeah, numbers. I guess they're doing stats and they're taking the higher percentages and leaning towards that decision over the other. But you still really don't know until you get a guy like Ryan in the building to tell you what it really means. It's just like a synonymous term with the entire NFL, but probably 80 % of the people watching have no idea what a cat is. Yeah. So anyways. When you get good, you can tell them why they even call it a cat. Like why? And then if you get good like John Madden, you can make it a joke.

8:08If you look at the corner, the corner is just sitting over there like a cat ready to jump on a house mouse that you got running around the basement.

8:19Jason Kelce:I always thought it was just a C word that fit for a corner blitz. There you go. But I do think cat in particular is, it's like a sneaky, it's like a quick. Ready to pounce. Yeah, it does feel like a cat. Just run with it. Fuck it. Well, you can check out that video and the upcoming video on analytics on the same YouTube page you're watching right now. Or if you're watching, I guess, on Spotify or something like that. These will all be on the YouTube page because there is film and video necessary to make these work. Yeah. If you have something you want us to break down, leave it in the comments.

8:52Jason Kelce:Be happy to hear what you guys are interested in seeing. Man, we'd love to hear that. And that does it for new news brought to you by Allstate. You're in good hands with Allstate. Before we recap week three in the NFL, we've got a news segment. Brandon, why don't you roll the tape? In the football justice system, hand-based celebrations are considered especially heinous. On the New Heights podcast, the dedicated hosts who investigate these vicious infractions are members of an elite squad known as the 92 Percenters. These are their stories. Let's go. Let's go. All right. Our defendant today is a 6 '2 fullback from Medina, Ohio.

9:34Jason Kelce:Let's go. Two-time first team all Ivy League at Harvard. Ever heard of it? Come on now. 10-time Pro Bowler, two-time First Team All-Pro from the San Francisco 49ers. Please welcome the NFL bad boy accused of, quote, an offensive demonstration that could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste. The Juice Kyle Uschik! Let's go! Northeast Ohio ball player, man. Let me wet my whistle. Let's go! Let's go! All right, I'm good. I'm good, boys. Hey, good to be here. Good to be with my Northeast Ohio brethren. Come on, baby. It is an honor to have you. Even under these circumstances, I can't believe it's been this long.

10:21Jason Kelce:The biggest, like, fullback was always my favorite position. I looked up to Mike Allstott, Lorenzo Neal. I played fullback in middle school. I've loved every fullback I've ever played with. You are the pinnacle of the fullback position, and it's an honor to have you on New Heights, Kyle. Hey, I appreciate that. Outside of you touching the ball, you basically were a fullback. They used me like that. You pulled on the edges. You know what it's like. That's awesome. We'll start with what's happening on hand first. Yep. How dare you? What?

10:56I'm a monster. Yeah, yeah. Absolute monster.

11:00Jason Kelce:What was in the glass? What were the contents from your perspective? Listen, I've literally so I've been doing this celebration at least seven years, maybe more. I feel like I might have even done it in college once. Like so my nickname for the longest time has been juice. I have literally a juice box on my thigh pad. The whole stadium. When I touch the ball. So an homage to that is I literally I drink juice and that's been going down for the longest time. but for whatever reason this past week it was out of line man the way you did it the way you went up it was beer you could tell it was beer it was a full chug yeah everyone knows you don't go full chug on a juice yeah you can't you can't drink juice when you got the bud light patio in the end when you're cutting through the bud light selly cam oh my gosh it's a hypocrisy man hypocrisy at the highest level it feels they dinged a couple other guys too didn't they this week a lot of guys got fined i i saw a set that there was five hundred thousand dollars worth of fines in week two jesus is it really that egregious yeah exactly i feel like unless there's something way out of line what are we doing here guys what do we like and also like i don't need a fifteen thousand dollar fine to make me stop doing something hey just why don't you just reach out to me and be like hey maybe you know don't do that and right i mean this is a whole different thing though because even if this was beer what's the problem correct yeah the nfl has beer labeled off of like every single thing in the stadiums, like you just said.

12:50Jason Kelce:It's on every commercial break. They're an official sponsor of the NFL. It feels just very weird that all of a sudden they're cracking down on this one specific thing. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if after I scored, they cut to Jason jumping through a table in Buffalo and then shot him in a beer right after. That's a realistic thing that probably happened. They immediately just cut to a Bud Light commercial. No question. Jason shirt off chugging beers in the finding process. You have an opportunity to appeal what you've been accused from juice. I believe you have that coming up. And you've had a few of these before, right?

13:33I know what I'm going into. It's funny. It's, it's like a real court hearing. And I will say I've got a pretty good record. I think I went to Harvard, man. He has paid attention. you paid attention the bell isn't a bunch of dummies out there man we got some smart news you would love one of my appeals it had to do with leading with uh the crown of my head and i hit him with newton's like second law an object in motion remains in motion will stay in motion an object at rest stays at rest and i'm pretty sure the guy on the other side of the phone just had his jaw down is like what do i say that He fucking brought out Isaac, man.

14:13Jason Kelce:Hard to dispute a law of science. Juice, are you taking Jason's legal advice? Jason tweeted out, Juice should threaten to countersue for defamation. How dare they allege false accusations? No way they can prove he was choking alcohol. I'm going to take that in consideration. but you know what's funny is like so like i even i said the day after like i don't even really drink beer like i i probably i drink maybe like five times a year like in the off season but after i said that i started thinking about it i'm like all right there's two common denominators of when i do drink alcohol and i realized that the one of them i was in band and dunes with i was at titan you with travis and george and i was at travis's wedding with travis and george

15:15we got some bad influences around here they're the ones that are leading me astray i'm telling you ah man we're just having a good time nobody's yeah i mean just one just one that's all i need

15:27Jason Kelce:Just one, just nothing too crazy. George has said that your new nickname is beer. Is that going to stick you think? It's been incredible. I've got the chefs in the cafeteria are calling me beer. The janitors are, hey, beer. People caught up with that one quickly. They love it. Juice is out the window. We're not going to let you get out of here. Obviously, this is a crazy thing that happened this past week. But we do got to talk about some fullbacks with you. Let's do it. Hell yeah, baby. there's been more fullback usage than there has been a long time in the NFL. You've obviously been featured a lot over the last decade in the Shanahan system.

16:02Jason Kelce:Where do you feel like the position is right now in the NFL? Yeah, I mean, I love to see that uptick. But I think it's, I've always said, it's one of those cyclical things that, you know, as defenses adapt to offenses, now offenses start adapting back to the defense. You know, you saw the huge spike in offenses being an 11 personnel, three wide receivers. So the defenses countered that with smaller linebackers, a lot of converted safeties going to linebacker so that you could match that speed, be able to play in space. And then now, as you see, the defenses have gotten smaller and faster. You're seeing that uptick with with fullback usage.

16:41You're seeing all this 13 personnel, 22 personnel. So we're kind of just bringing it right back that, all right, if you're going to have smaller defenders on the field, let's have some bigger guys that we can attack you and just go downhill. And so I just think it's going to constantly go back and forth. I'm obviously I'm super stoked to see that there's, you know, other fullbacks out there that are getting some burn. And I love to see that there's more offenses in general that just that use that type of scheme. And I hope it continues to go up and I hope to see a little bit more of it in college as well.

17:15So it's not always converted linebackers and and converted guards, defense tackles, that type of stuff. You know, I'd love to see some like real true fullbacks that have been playing the position for a while.

17:28Jason Kelce:So one of the things that I think makes it unique about you is, and one of the reasons I think you've been there the whole time, is you're a fullback, but you can easily line up at tight end. You can line up in a slot position. That's what's always stood out to me about Shanahan's offense and why you're such a central figure to it. It's like you're saying, okay, if you want to play small, dude, we can pack it in here and juice or isolate any of these guys. He can block an end if we need them to. If we want to spread it out because they're going big, Like the multiplicity of formations and plays you can get to when you have a guy like you is pretty awesome to see.

18:05Jason Kelce:And the creativity that comes with it. Would you agree with that? Yeah, I appreciate that. And I've always kind of hung my hat on that of being versatile. Like literally my nickname from my high school newspaper was Mr. Versatility. Okay, boys. Here we go. Yeah, the Medina Gazette. Shout out. Come on, man. That's awesome. but it's really i mean you see it a lot i'm not the only one on this offense you know debo sam he's a wide receiver that plays running back 100 christians a running back that plays receiver george is a tight end that plays receiver like we have so many kind of like positionless players that kyle just does such a good job of mismatching people and putting us everywhere so that we can take advantage of stuff it reminds me what you guys are doing offensively reminds me what new England did defensively for years, right?

18:53Jason Kelce:Like they had all these linebackers and it's like, okay, they can be in a four down front. Then they put a guy in the line scrimmage. They'd be five down. And those, like those Jamie Collins, high tower, those guys that can be anywhere. And it's like, man, are we treating this guy? Like he's a down guy. Cause I don't want to leave the half back on them. And then like, okay, he can go out there and cover a tight end and covers. I'm like, what is happening here? You know, firsthand what a pain that can be when it comes to identifying the defense, especially now defense aligning are wearing these single digit numbers, right?

19:22All right. Is this a D lineman? Is this a linebacker? Are we in a four down front? Are we sliding? Are we at a man protection? Like it does make it tough when guys can play a lot of different spots, offense or defense.

19:33Jason Kelce:So were you always a fullback? No. So, um, growing up, I was a quarterback, like all through middle school and early high school, um, ended up playing like running back tight end receiver everything defense I was always a inside linebacker um and then when I went to college I was a tight end but I was I was basically a glorified receiver like I was in the slot 90 of the time I only had my hand in the dirt like 10 of the time and I'd go to fullback for short yardage and goal line stuff that's a lot of the offenses around our our days yeah did you have like favorite players growing up who are the guys that you liked when you were a kid Wayne Corbett was my time out come on Wayne Corbett wide receiver for the New York Jets number 80 short didn't wear gloves like taped his fingers went to Hofstra he was just a grimy blue collar guy um he was my number one played on AstroTurf man oh yeah sounds like an AstroTurf name right there Before middle school, I think I read his autobiography like five times.

20:40Like I was obsessed. And then when I got older, Dallas Clark was my favorite. And that's why I started wearing 44 is because he was a tight end that could run routes and was legitimately like a receiver. So and again, didn't wear gloves. No gloves. I was about to say. Yeah, I didn't. I didn't wear gloves to my junior year of college. And then you realize, oh, shit, grubs work. well to this day i wear the um the weather gloves no matter what because i when i first started wearing gloves i'm like well i really i don't even want the stickiness i just wanted the protection from when i was blocking so i'm like let's have the most natural feel as possible but still have

21:20Jason Kelce:that protection so i still wear all weather gloves yeah it blows my mind seeing linemen that wear the sticky gloves like i don't like the way that feels when i'm trying to grab like it just i don't feel like it has the same like texturey feel it doesn't feel right when you snap did you have a glove on your right hand no i tried doing that for like a year or two and the snaps weren't consistent enough so i got rid of it i would tape the shit out of my right hand would be like all cut up and bloody once after the first game through the end of the season always we got to talk 49 we talk fullback you guys are freaking rolling right now man absolutely i like i think every you guys start out a big game against the rams everybody's kind of talking about the rams all offseason and you guys go to Australia, put on a hell of a performance.

22:04Jason Kelce:I don't know, man. Keep it rolling, brother. It's fun to watch right now. The 49ers are healthy and back. Well, trying to be healthy. It's like – Kind of. Really? Yeah, right. Right. I love the squad, man. I love it. And I feel like people – you didn't get much off-season hype because nobody wants to keep talking about the same guys. Like, we are – I think we're the oldest team in the league by average. And people love the fun new toys. They love to see the young guys, the new exciting guys. They don't want to talk about me and George and Christian and Brock and Mike Evans. And Fred and Greenwood.

22:40Yeah, Fred and Bosa. People, they want to talk about the new young hotness, and I get it. But listen, we've played a lot of football. We've had a lot of success, and we know how to win games and play together. So I like where we're at. Damn sure do. You guys are giving them a lot to talk about now, baby. Absolutely rolling. Brock Purdy is out there fucking slinging it around, man, making crazy plays with his legs. It's fun to fucking watch you guys play, man. And you're the pinnacle of the position, brother. You're the best to ever do it in my eyes. I appreciate you jumping on with this. And good luck with your appeal a little later on.

23:15Thanks, brother. And I don't know why. I'm just going to put it out here. But I feel like all roads are going to end at freaking Kansas City and San Francisco again. Let's do it again, baby. Let's do it again. Round three. Round three. Round three, man. Out in L.A., let's do it. Let's do it, man. All right. Thank you for presenting partner Reese's. Do quarterbacks have hand pouches to warm their hands or hide their Reese's?

23:44Jason Kelce:Yeah, that's a good question because nobody needs both hands warm in the fourth quarter. You only need one warm hand to throw a football. You know what they need? They need a snack. That's their game plan. And here's yours. King size in the jacket, maybe minis in the cargo pants, a good old two-pack tucked in the hoodie pouch, just in case the game goes into overtime. Because no one's showing up with empty pockets. You're loading up. Forget the foam finger. The ultimate fan accessory is an orange wrapper. Look, pay close attention this season, and you may realize everything happens for a reason.

24:24Jason Kelce:Yes, it does. Thank you to our sponsor, Allstate. Checking Allstate first could save you on renter's insurance. Not checking if the garden hose is connected properly before you turn on the water. Yeah, it's shooting sideways and your socks are soaked before you can shut it off. Yeah, checking first is the right move. So check Allstate and see how much you could save on renter's insurance. You're in good hands with Allstate. Potential savings vary. 25:01Dude, have you seen this? Royal Caribbean just dropped the legend of the seas. It's the biggest cruise ship on the planet. Like, nothing's even close to being this big. And it's sailing out of Fort Lauderdale starting this November.

25:17Jason Kelce:That's right. This thing is stacked. Seven pools, more places to eat than you can even count. I mean, they have something for everybody. Like bring the kids, bring mom and dad, shoot, bring the whole crew. Everybody's got a spot. That's what makes it special. And the entertainment, live music, ice skating, full-on Broadway shows. It's pretty amazing. Pretty much everything you want in one place. Oh, and did I mention there's a water park? You didn't, and that'd be the kicker for me. I love a water park. But the crazy one? Crown's Edge, a ropes course off the side of the ship. Not for the faint of heart, brother.

25:54Jason Kelce:They've also got Playmaker Sports Bar and Arcade, so that means games on every screen. I love a good arcade-sports-place combination. All right, count me in. Get the family on the new Legend of the Seas, sailing November 2026 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Visit royalcaribbean.com to learn more. Let's move on to some bold topics. All right, now. Bold Topics is brought to you by The Farmer's Dog. How about it, man? All right. Let's start with some positive bold topics. Chiefs 24, Dolphins 10. Trav, take us down to what it was like in South Florida. First of all, how hot was it? It was hot. It was hot.

26:38It was definitely hot. We've been practicing in some crazy heat and humidity here in Kansas City over the past three weeks, though. So it's been kind of – we've been fortunate that Mother Nature has been gearing us up for this yeah gearing us up for this game specifically because it was hot it was hot and humid there were times when the sun was hiding behind the clouds but there were also times whereas in this picture it was just it felt like it ain't hiding yeah but i'm not gonna lie it was a luxury on the sideline uh once you got to the sideline we had a nice little cabana with uh air conditioned seats and i'm not gonna lie i had the best seat in the house jason dude air conditioned seats are a game changer are you fucking kidding me and it's not just like you get that cold air coming up through the taint that's like just like right up there it's not just like a fan you know i mean like i was sitting in a fridge on the sideline and uh that was keeping me fresh uh because typically you're not you don't have air conditioned seats and you're just sweating from

27:33Jason Kelce:the humidity of the of south florida yes but outside of the heat and the weather it was a beautiful day and uh and we got out of there with a two-score victory well it was uh it was a very fun game to watch we were all cheering you on in the kelsey household papa kelsey came over to watch the game the girls everybody had a great time you uh start off right from the get-go right only finished with two reception but the first one out the gate i believe was 48 yards yep it was uh it was a big one i was uh butt naked open nobody within 10 to 15 yards of me and you know it goes back to me asking asking you know how the heck did i become the most yards after the catch.

28:16Well, it's because Andy Reid's dialing up plays. Yeah, that where I don't have anyone near me. So I was excited about the first 15 this week. Had a lot of great stuff in there. Sure enough, we scored the first touchdown after four plays, get back out there and put 11 play drive together to score again. So it was we came out hot. We got to be able to finish drives a lot of flags on both sides of the ball for both teams. Kind of, you know, puts a halt to the momentum that you're trying to get. Kills, drives.

28:50Jason Kelce:But a lot of that across the NFL, man. Yeah, and you just got to try to, you know, hone in on those fundamentals. Make sure you're not giving the refs anything to fucking call. That's just how the game goes. So we killed ourselves in a lot of ways. Probably should have ran away with it there in the second half, but found a way to really finish strong on both sides of the ball. And yeah, got out of there with a victory. I do want to, because you mentioned the penalties thing, and it was something that I noticed on Sunday, and I've noticed all like early season. It feels like there's been so many penalties in big crucial moments.

29:26Jason Kelce:Touchdowns called back. So senior correspondent Ryan Pagnetti of Analytics, I did ask him, I was like, dude, how many, it feels like this is happening. So I said, how many touchdowns have been called back from penalties? This is what he said. 14 touchdowns have been erased by penalties so far this season. The fourth most through three weeks since the year 2000. And that doesn't count last night. I don't know if there was one last night. There was a couple that kind of ruined drives, but I don't know if they called them back specifically. Seven alone on Sunday, which is the eighth highest individual week out of 450 weeks since 2000.

30:01Jason Kelce:There have been 16 penalty plays that have been a swing of at least 10 % winning the game percentage the highest this is where the analytics kind of get i get a little lost but it's an interesting stat 16 penalty plays that have been a swing of at least a 10 chance to win the game the highest total through three weeks since the year 2000 so they've been all over the place and a lot of them have been these dpi ones where it's like an underthrown ball and i don't know what you do if you're the cornerback like i just it's it's tough man and everybody's trying to do their job. But at the same time, I'm not going to lie, I had one.

30:38And it's just you're kind of sitting there, you're playing football, and you see some laundry on the field, and you're just like, man, what could that have been? And then to realize that you were a part of it, you were just like.

30:49Jason Kelce:Oh, that's all right, sweet. A lot of people are asking, Trav, you're off to one of the best starts of your career, and you're in year 14. Patrick Brennan put a little perspective on some of his performances in terms of performance for a 37-year-old receiver to start a season, Travis Kelsey is off to the best start in recorded history. And that's not even remotely close. I'm the best geezer to ever play the game. Talk about analytics. Look at this chart. Way up there. In terms of a performance for a 37-year-old, motherfucker, I'm 36. Well, 37 in a week or – I think, yeah, literally Monday. All right, well, let's get to some other tweets.

31:29Jason Kelce:Another guy, KC Sports Network. work travis turning back the clock travis has recorded 55 plus receiving yards in each of his first three games in a season for the first time since 2021 that's a wild stat yeah it's crazy man 2021 was only five was five years ago man isn't that nuts travis kelsey's averaging 16.5 yards per catch through three games he hasn't averaged 13 13 yards per catch since 2020 bottom line is you're getting wide the fuck open partly because of you partly because of andy partly because of Kenneth Walker. Whatever is working, it's working. Patty Cuts is taking all the credit, though.

32:04Jason Kelce:Did you see this? Patty Cuts. Listen, man, the fade's giving me powers, man. Listen, Deion said it best, man. You look good. You play good, man. That's right. It's feeling good, man. Shout out to Patty Cuts. Dicing me up every week. Alright. Everyone also pointed out that Miami is the place where you scored your first NFL touchdown. I didn't even know that. Let's see the first touchdown of Travis's career. Two timeouts. McKnight was by his side. They go underneath. This is Kelsey, who was so terrific last week to the pylon. That is a Kansas City touchdown. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. We were on the couch questioning.

32:43Jason Kelce:So be honest. When you hit the ground, it looked like you made control, but your arm moved a little bit. Did the ball at any point? It never left my hand, though. But did it jiggle? Did it jiggle? No. Did it wobble? No. Did it wibble wobble? Mm-mm. Did it whiffle waffle? No. No. Well, either way, big touchdown catch. Two huge receptions in the Chiefs win against Miami. You gave away your record-breaking jersey to Dwayne Bowe. Is this true? Shout out to D-Bowe. I got Dwayne Bowe, man. I love Dwayne, man. He came up to me before the game and just asked me. He was like, hey, I need one of those. I was like, you got tonight's, baby.

33:25Let's go.

33:25Jason Kelce:Oh, yeah? Yeah. That's awesome. And I just did. I had no idea that before the game that I was even close to this record. And I wasn't going to go back like, hey, Bo, I'm going to get you another one, dog. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, so I was just like, yeah, man. He was the OG in the locker room on the offense. My early years really showed me what it was to be a great teammate. Somebody who just loved the game of football and loved the atmosphere of being a pro and living out your dreams. And he instilled that in everybody in the building, man. And you can't find a single person on this earth that has anything bad to say about Dwayne Bowe and who he was in the building.

34:02And so to see him coming back to game still and ask me for a jersey, I'm on a brother.

34:09Jason Kelce:D-Bowe, man, he was a problem. That is for sure. Especially somewhere over the Dwayne Bowe. Come on now. Yes, sir. Anything else you want to talk about from the game, Trav? What else is the highlight? What were your guys' main takeaways? Nothing? them just to keep it rolling there's always ways that you can you know fine-tune this thing get better uh play harder for the guy next to you and in crucial moments we got guys that could make guys miss man and when you get the the non-stop blocking till the whistle and you get guys body on a body you don't realize it till you watch film and it's like man if I would have just stayed on this guy for an extra second to two seconds and just grinded this out man the guy that just made three guys miss could be 40 yards downfield it's hard to you know manage that and and to be thinking about that and and everything but at the same time man if we uh if we could do that on every play not that we're not doing that at all because we're doing a great job of that but it's just like focusing on that and making sure that even if you're on the back side or um you have a block or you have a route where you're not necessarily the one that's getting the ball or the main concept, what you're doing after the catch or what you're doing for that second effort, man, means something.

35:26So I think that's going to be a huge focus and starts with working your ass off in practice because the only way you can do that in a game is if you do that every single rep in practice and you gain that endurance to be able to do that because that's the biggest thing is guys try and not necessarily take a playoff.

35:42Jason Kelce:No, that is 100 % it. I always felt like early in the season, in the offseason, you get so in tuned to like internal clock in practice. We're like, okay, I'm blocking, doing my job, and then the play's over whenever the thud happens or whatever. When a game, it doesn't happen like that. Guys break tackles, things get extended, the quarterback tries to make a play happen, and you all of a sudden need to play a little bit longer and through the whistle, and that's one of the things. We're highlighting this on Monday Night Football. I've wanted to do it for a couple years. We call it finding work.

36:11Jason Kelce:but it's like yeah all of these big with uh courtney man yeah great dude j-mac all of these big plays happen a lot of the times because guys keep blocking right the big uh jameer gibbs cut back from last week my man jared golf getting a block on the backside jameson williams that's not a touchdown if those guys don't do that and yeah these are the things that like until you start playing games again you don't realize oh i need to actually keep going here i think once you start doing this so i'm with you 100 and it that's makes a huge difference at the end of the day but there's that and there's just cleaning up the penalties and just this the the mistakes where if we just keep our eyes on the defense we see things coming we anticipate the blitzes we anticipate the movement um we get bodies on bodies and we're cooking in that regard too so uh always working to get better and um going into week four uh with a lot of momentum and excitement for for a three and oh raiders team they're all fired up and yeah we know we got a big one this week well let's get to the not so fun one to talk to a rough one for the eagles uh seven to 27 bears monday night football jason was in the house had the peaky blinders on was it the scully cap anytime you wear a jeff cap now you're you're like impersonating like a 1910s person people still wear jeff caps like people are aware of this right it's still like a piece of a tiger i'm not gonna lie the salt and pepper you got going on in the beard man it was like it just blended right in with all of this perfect um but let's get to the game man eagles actually came out i thought great um the bears offense new uh backup quarterback case keenum case keenum comes out looking fucking like the starter he looked like he was he was in sync didn't miss a beat with uh with coming in and um and the bears were rolling offensively as well uh but what are your thoughts on the game no i mean you hit the nail on the head i think all pre-show and we're talking a lot about the last time the Eagles played the Bears.

38:06Jason Kelce:So last year, Black Friday, they gave up 281 yards on the ground. It's like, hey, they need to stop the run. They need to make Case Keenum win this game. It felt like the noise coming out of Chicago, at least from my perspective, I tried to bring this up, it felt like Ben Johnson had confidence in Case Keenum coming into this, like just in the way he was talking, and not like a usual way. You know what I mean? Like some coaches, when the backup's going in, And it already feels almost like the excuses are getting ready to happen. It's like, yo, well, listen, man, we got to do with what the hand we're dealt.

38:39Jason Kelce:And we're going to go out there and we're going to battle. And it's like, that was not what it sounded like. Like it sounded very confident with the head coach going into the game, especially a play caller. And right away, I mean, I think they might have called like two runs, maybe three runs that first drive. Like they came out quick game, right into the flat, ripped it out like quickly. Then they come out with a nice tight end screen to the field. All of these motions and crossers. They have an empty play where they're motioning burden in, and it's a little shovel pass type thing to go in and score.

39:13Jason Kelce:It was a very Ben Johnson-schemed-up first 15, and I thought it got them in a rhythm immediately. And really looking back, the Bears have one of the best offensive lines in football. their right side Jonah Jackson and Darnell Wright are two like just monstrous human beings that are very good and I really think for a backup quarterback to go in the biggest thing you're worried about okay can he be comfortable to throw the ball well he's got a great offensive line all right the scheme is something that you know when you're 38 years old you're in the league for a long time a lot of the reasons you're still there is because you know that stuff in and out mentally so there's no question that he's going to be able to execute what ben johnson's going to ask him to do now can he make the off schedule things happen that caleb can't can he do all these incredible throws across the field and make magic happen like that's not going to be his skill set but he can damn sure do what ben johnson's scheming up and he executed it flawlessly there them as an offense did you know the eagles defense struggled right they did a much better job against the run than they did last year yeah but at the expense of giving up so much in the back and there's still a lot of missed tackles with the safeties and guys just, it felt, you know, it was a frustrating game to watch as an Eagles fan because this Vic Fangio defense and the Eagles defense has been so good.

40:35Jason Kelce:And they've had games like this, right? The last year against Chicago, two years ago against the Bucs and the Falcons to start the season. I have confidence that they'll get this rectified. They have one of the best D coordinators and defensive minds in football over the last 30, 40 years, however long Vic Fangio has been coaching. but it was a it was a bad performance on monday night against a really really good chicago bears offense uh with ben johnson probably if not the best one of the best schemers in the nfl currently so um definitely a wake-up call for the defense thought you know they had multiple times where they could have got off the field and just didn't happen i guess the bears really only had that one drive that they failed in the red zone after the uh oh the almost touchdown yeah yeah which is a heartbreaker shout out to love one i will say this though you were talking about the stuff in the run game case keenum uh finding ways in the in the past game it still felt like the eagles were there it was like it was right there and keenum just was putting putting the ball and in tight windows and the the receivers were coming up huge uh on the reception side of of the throw And that's tough, man.

41:44When you're right there, you have a tick, and the offense is just timing-wise, just finding a way every single rep, man. It breaks you down, man. It just felt like they had that connection going all game. But it was very weird. The offense on the Eagles side definitely felt like it was rolling until the sideline hit, the late hit on Jalen. He has to go into the blue tent. He's waiting for the NFL to give him the go to come back out. Unfortunately, Dalton comes in, doesn't see the safety in the back of the end zone, throws a pick. And all of a sudden now it's just it's it's not what it was when they were rolling.

42:27You know what I mean? And I don't know. I don't know how you avoid that because it didn't look like he got concussed. concussed it didn't look like it was a situation where he he got up slow or seemed to be I just I was I was very confused on why they pulled him he got up a little slow I think if you're watching

42:47Jason Kelce:in the stadium it wasn't like a hot backup type thing and the in the league always airs on putting guys in the blue tent I just you know I get it you know what they're trying to protect guys they're trying to make sure they're looking out for guys' best interests and health. It just sucked that it happened in that moment for the Eagles, right? They put together an incredible drive. They get all the way down there. And by the way, like the holding call on Lane Johnson, like for those that don't know, that happened when Jalen's breaking the pocket. It is so hard to go from pass blocking for a guy right behind you to then all of a sudden he leaks out in front of you.

43:23Jason Kelce:And to know to let go at that exact moment, I don't like that the league officiates that as strictly as possible because it's a bang bang thing on the tackle. And it's like he's not trying to restrict him from running that way. It's just something that naturally happens, whatever. But the fact that a holding call is offsetting with what happened to Jalen on the sideline is pretty crazy to me. Those two shouldn't be offsetting. Like that's like the equivalent of like, hey, hey, you got a jaywalking ticket and you're you're being charged with aggravated assault. those offset each other what are we talking about that shouldn't the personal foul should absolutely like take precedence over this other penalty like coming from two jaywalkers those two yeah aggravated assault and jaywalking do not they're not on the same level i don't i don't think that there should be some penalties i think supersede other ones especially when it comes to safety do not jaywalk um but yeah it's great it is what it is uh the eagles still had an opportunity to score i do think they didn't run tush push on that first like they had a first down in inches and i think they they got the backup quarterback annie dalton in there's a higher prevalency of fumbling those snaps because of the way guys fire out if you haven't repped it um so i was a little surprised we gotta get the rocket we gotta get the red rocket some fucking tush push reps that's what i'm saying i think you gotta go tush push there and the bears they don't go tush push on their uh third and one play right and they try to trap jalen carter You get to TFL.

44:55Jason Kelce:I think so many of these guys overthink that situation. Actually, the Bears had a really – they had a really creative sneak later in the game. Did you see that? Uh-huh. Sucker sneak. Yep. Pull both yards. Yep. Thought that was pretty nifty. Of course, Ben Johnson whipping that out. That was cool. But, yeah, I think the – the Eagles' offensive general was rolling in the first half outside of self-inflicted mistakes, right? Like the first drive, they get off some really good plays, and then they have the intentional grounding. then they rip off a big run on first down the next drive that gets called back from a hold or something like that um then they have the fumble i mean a lot of self-inflicted stuff in that first half for the eagles they end up getting points going into half with an amazing two-minute drive by jaylen to get them down there tush push at less than a second i mean that ball barely got off and into the end zone they went in 10-7 i mean it was remarkable the game was that close the bears really had the possession and was dominating most of that first half.

45:54And then the second half, it just felt like they kind of got caught up

45:59Jason Kelce:on some of the runs. Like it wasn't like guys were really, really blown up, but they weren't hitting them the same way. And then when they got into third and longs, I thought Dennis Allen did a great job in his pressure package. And I've seen this. I've been a part of this horse show. You do not want to be in third and long when Dennis Allen is a DC. He's got all these, like he's mugging up seven, eight guys. Then he's in the dime world, and he's got odd dime mugs, and they're blitzing saw. The inside guys are dropping out. TJ Edwards gets the interception on one of them. Another one, he bats down.

46:29Jason Kelce:And you can see this happening, right? Like he's checking to a max protect. He knows that it could be pressure. It could be a max drop. They're just really hard situations to execute in. Yeah, you try and limit those situations. Being in that situation is tough, so you want to really be good on first and second down so you don't get caught in tough situations like that where you have to drop back knowing that that's the situation, that's what the defense is going to give you. And it's hard. It felt like they were kind of a step ahead of us a little bit in that. Like, we were always trying to catch up to, okay, they dropped out that time.

47:01Jason Kelce:Now we're going to do this. And then what we're doing the next time isn't what's best for that version of it. Like, it just felt like we were off in all of the answers to that stuff, watching it. And then there was some other, like, play action blitzes where, you know, guys are blitzing late or green dog in and they don't get the throw completed or a guy the backs guys blitzing and the offensive line could have taken them it was one of those games where i think there's a lot to learn from in handling the pressure on the tape and i'm sure the eagles will go back to working at that but ultimately offensively i'm happy they got the ground game going the offensive line played really good from a run blocking standpoint and for the most part they blocked really well just blocking their guys there's some there's some pressure things that they need to sort out.

47:46Jason Kelce:And that's not just the O-line. That's quarterback O-line, having answers as a unit, like all that stuff. And then defensively, obviously, that's a big thing they got to clean up. So all in all, you know, frustrating game. Whenever you lose and are dominated like that on primetime, it's a bad feeling. You know, I mean, you know, like I do. I remember playing the Saints and we lost by like 50 points. And then we're playing that same Saints team in the playoffs. You don't think we're thinking about that? And then we go out there. And then we go out in that game and we, like, I think we gave up, like, 14.

48:18Jason Kelce:Like, it was a close game. We barely – defense had a great game. Offensively, we came up short. So, it's early in the season. I think Vic and these guys, they still have good players over on that defensive side of the ball. They got to iron out what they're doing. Ben Johnson, man, he's had our number the last couple times we played him. It's been impressive to watch all the motions and the way he builds things, the way he gets to empty. it's it really is fun to watch that offense even when it's kicking your ass you got to tip your hat to it i hear you brother and it was uh it was a tough one for the birds but they got some ball players over there and they always you know anytime there's a hiccup they come back stronger so uh expect the birds to get right back on track um who you guys got next week next week is the rams it ain't getting any easier we go rams next week and then we'll be in london the following week i'll be on the call on that one against jacksonville jacksonville's playing as good as any team in the nfl right now trevor lawrence has been fantastic through three weeks on fire man liam cohen man he is those guys rolling down there in duval washington man really good player where the fuck did that kid come from i didn't i don't did what's he he i don't remember a little bit last year last year thing i i didn't see enough of the jacksonville's games to know um But that dude is a fucking ball player, man.

49:36Jason Kelce:Dude, Jacksonville, because they don't get a lot of the primetime love because of the market and everything, nobody really sees it. Dude, they were rolling last year. They were a really good team last year. I remember playing them. We talked to them early last year. Exactly, exactly. And that was a Monday night game. So we did see that one. They're a very good team. Parker Washington started coming on last year really well for them. And he's come out the gate flying around. I thought they were going to miss ETN a little bit. They are still rolling on all cylinders offensively. So, yeah, I mean, it's going to be a good stretch here.

50:08Jason Kelce:Rams, really good team, and they're going to be looking for blood after losing that one late to the Broncos. So it's going to be a hard-fought game this week for the Eagles and then traveling over the pond the following week to Jacksonville. Short week to kind of try and get back right after a game like this. Right on, brother. Well, good luck to those birds. Thank you to our sponsor, Colgate Total. On offense, it's important to prevent problems from the moment the ball is snapped. That's true. Otherwise, you're just out there running cardio. Can't get open for a big play. But it's not just football.

50:44Jason Kelce:There's a lot of things you need to prevent before they start. Yeah, like in your mouth. My mouth specifically? I mean, probably yours too, but I'm talking everybody's mouth. There's bacteria in there that can lead to oral health problems like cavities, gingivitis. Right, yeah, all the nasty stuff. But the good news is you can prevent these problems before they start with Colgate Total Active Prevention. It's like having a good offensive line for your mouth. Ooh, exactly. With twice daily brushing, Colgate Total prevents oral health problems like cavities and gingivitis. And it's not just one contributing player either.

51:23Jason Kelce:It's a whole system. Toothpaste, mouthwash, and a special toothbrush. Now that's the squad you want fighting for your mouth. Colgate Total is like having a full playbook in your bathroom. working to help prevent oral health problems before they start. Get Colgate Total on Amazon today. Thank you to our partner, the Farmer's Dog, the official pet food of the NFL. Here's the thing about the Farmer's Dog. They make real food for dogs. Real fresh meat, veggies, gently cooked, none of that ultra processed stuff. Yep, you can look at it in the bowl and tell exactly what it is, which is kind of wild when you think about what's in most dog food.

52:05What sets them apart? Their frozen fresh food is clinically shown to help support healthy aging in dogs.

52:12Jason Kelce:That's right. And it's not just some luxury thing either, right? It's genuinely just good food. The kind of food every dog needs and should be eating. Long live dogs. Go to thefarmersdog.com slash new heights and get 50 % off your first box. See how real food can be a game changer for your dog. That's thefarmersdog.com slash newheist for 50 % off your first box. All righty, let's get into the rest of week three. We had some absolute bangers, some big-time matchups, one down in Brazil. But first, let's get to the unbeatens and the winless. Chiefs, Raiders, Bills, Niners, Vikings sneaking in there.

52:50Not everybody thought they were going to be undefeated, but I'm pretty sure. And Raiders. Defense, baby. Niners are rolling, Bills fucking rolling. Um, unfortunately, uh, Dolphins, Texans, Chargers, Titans, Bucs are all winless. Um, a few, uh, Texans, Chargers, Bucs probably being the two that everyone would not have,

53:12Jason Kelce:uh, the least foreseeable. Yeah. Uh, the only teams that make the playoffs after 0-3 start since 2000 are what teams, Jason? Well, I can see it on the screen, Travis. Should I act like I don't know? Cause I didn't know. Uh, gee, Travis, I don't know. I don't know who uh give it your best guess uh is it the 2018 and the 2025 Houston Texans the only right answer that's god damn you're good I knew it I knew it good no listen you already said it I mean the Bucs major surprise that they're 0-3 I mean there are a lot of questions uh this off season with Todd Bowles and kind of how the team didn't live up to expectations last season they start out this year 0-2 last game Baker Mayfield goes down as they're losing um I mean it's just a really bad start unfortunately for tampa bay love todd bowls played with him in philadelphia for a year a couple years and um just a heck of a defensive coach yeah a lot of person uh and then baker mayfield i mean he's one of our favorites you hate to see him go down with the thumb thing fuck some dislocation i think is what they're calling it so yeah i mean just vibes do not look great right now down in tampa bay yeah it's not looking good chargers the other big surprise i everybody expected this Mike McDaniel, Justin Herbert, what's the word I'm looking for, this partnership, marriage, to get off to a great start and to really be outstanding.

54:38They were looking for two numbers. Everybody was thinking it was going to be, I don't want to say two numbers, but when two was rolling and they had Waddle and Tyreek and all the running backs getting downhill and they had so much speed, well, they don't necessarily have those guys out there in uh in la and i think you know although they have some fucking ball players at the skill position lad macaque lad's a dog he's a dog and hampton hampton's another dog but they gotta they gotta keep finding uh those pieces to to come alive and um and i think herbert is uh you know he's a superstar man i think he's a he's he's got all the talent in the world man but he's got to be

55:18Jason Kelce:more consistent with it i think it's also like i've watched i'm a huge fan of mike mndaniel's offense. I've watched it a bunch when he was in Miami, but at times, like last year, they had some guards in their plan that were a little new and you could see, you know, sometimes when you're so creative and you're doing all this cool stuff, the detail and things can get a little bit lost because you're doing so much and the motions and everything happening. I just wonder if it's just going to take some time. They're doing a lot of unique plays, unique schemes, things that guys have never done before, including the quarterback.

55:59Jason Kelce:So I anticipated it getting better. Obviously, 0-3 is a bad start. They're missing Jesse Minter on the defensive side of the ball. Shout out to the old ball coach that we were with in Cincinnati. But I do think that they are going to get better offensively as they get more familiar with the system, including Justin Herbert. Speaking of our old ball coach, he's down there in old Rio de Janeiro and having some fun, man. Crazy, crazy game. Crazy ending to the game. Ravens, Cowboys. Cowboys go up and have the ball on the two with 23 seconds left, down 31-28. That's a horrendous, horrendous DPI. Go ahead.

56:42Jason Kelce:Oh, my gosh. That was that game. That's what got them down there. Man. Man. The defender's looking, trying to make a play on the ball, and the offensive player is pulling his arm. I just, you know me, I never get on the officials. They need to get this cleaned up, in my opinion. The pass interference stuff down the field has been completely egregious. You need to be more strict throwing this flag, knowing what's at stake. That's not even a catchable ball. I think it's catchable, but the bottom line is the defender is the only one making a play at it. I don't want these things to be reviewable, but there were enough this past week that I think were missed calls and bad calls.

57:23Jason Kelce:I don't know if they need to start getting together as a group to make the call and do it by committee. That doesn't feel right either. I just think when the game's on the line, please err on only throwing it if it's clear and obvious. Like, that's my only thing. It is crazy that Dallas didn't get a touchdown on the ensuing ball at the two-yard line. It is insane. They got a false start. It backed them up. Then shot, I recall, it's a timeout with 14 seconds left instead of letting the clock tick down. Baltimore should have never got the ball back. It was a completely botched end-of-game scenario by Dallas, which is the only reason Baltimore won the game.

57:57Jason Kelce:They still had to execute, but they shouldn't have even had the opportunity. I know how hard officiating is. I know that these guys do a tremendous job, and it is thankless, and I don't like getting on the officials. I just think that there needs to be a long look at some of these plays and things getting called back. Like, is this really worth it? It's only going to help them in terms of the scrutiny that they get if there is somebody up in the, if there is just one more ref. But they tried doing the replay thing with defensive passer interference before and it was a fucking clusterfuck. Yeah, you're right.

58:31Jason Kelce:The only way I could see them doing that is if it wasn't a reviewable play. Like, it's not a challengeable play, but the NFL can official review it. You know what I mean? That's what I'm saying. No, 100 % that's what I'm saying. I don't want teams challenging DPI because then they're going to challenge any big play and try and get it overtaken. But somebody upstairs, if they see it's obvious that that call is screwed up. Obvious. Obvious. It has to be a no-brainer. It has to be like the one in the Denver Rams one. Well, that's the thing. Which ones are obvious? That's the problem. That's why this opens up, man.

59:04Jason Kelce:To me, that's obvious that that's not DPI. To me, it's obvious that the Denver Rams one wasn't DPI. but there is still some contact and it's like especially you start slowing things down it's just hard when you start slowing things down it's frustrating as a fan when you're watching the game you're like that's a that's not even close to the right call and then it's in a heightened part of the game where it's like i don't think officials should be determining this game like that's my big thing is like unless it is and that's the way they usually officiate the end of game like hail mary's they never throw the flag unless it's just absurd which is no even then it could be in as as absurd as it could possibly be.

59:40I've literally gotten tackled fucking four or five times, and it's like, bro, what the fuck?

59:44Jason Kelce:Whenever I see a guy's arm go limp and fly in the air, I think it should be mandatory that you don't call it. The flop. I'm dead serious. I'm over on the flops. They're doing it on defense now. Guys, whenever they get a little bit of, like, the ball goes past him, they just throw it up to try and get a late holding call. That shit is stupid. Like, I hate the fact that he flailed his wrist. He went lip wrist. If you go lip wrist on a football field, you don't get a call. That should be the NFL's official stance. Lip wrist, no call. You've negated the call.

1:00:19Jason Kelce:There's no other way to use that wrist movement. That's my hot take. I'm not going to lie. That was, I could feel your anger and your frustration. If your arms flail, because it doesn't ever happen. The only time that happens is when a guy's flopping. That should be the telltale sign that you're bullshitting. Because nobody falls like that. If you're playing through it and actually trying to make the play, you're not doing that. I hear you. Oh, man. Well, not going to lie. It was a tight end kind of weekend. That's right. The stat of the week, there were 20 touchdown catches by tight ends alone.

1:00:54Fuck, I love it, man. Love that. Love that. Tight ends rule. The most in any day in NFL history. 92 %ers want you guys to tell them the best international call on the game-winning field goal. So I'll tee that up for you. Oh, nice. We have a collection of four international calls here. Let's do this. Four international calls.

1:01:11Jason Kelce:All right, let's hear it.

1:01:19I do love French. Oh, that's good.

1:01:24You don't always hear the French getting excited.

1:01:41Oh

1:01:58Jason Kelce:go back go back i want to hear more of the german call i heard a zieg come on time

1:02:10Jason Kelce:i mean those are electric those are all good those are epic i'm probably going portuguese just because that is brazil's native language which i think you got to give it it was in rio gotta go portuguese i do love french kylie speaks french i love the way it sounds to be honest i love every single one of them it is funny kind of hearing like where they sit in their mouth like the the french is like very like the tongue is almost like lazy

1:02:44Jason Kelce:it's like very nasally and the tongue is like not really hitting it's like just like sliding words out that's what it sounds like in my mind which is probably terrible and then spanish is like the tongue is fucking all over the place like in its fucking rapid fire the tongue is moving and then german is just like very staccato and just like it's like a commander it is yeah the german one outside of wartime is a fun accent wartime i'm not a fan of it wartime i do like the strength it's it i just picked that up when you're watching saving private ryan you don't love it there's a lot of negative connotations i have but i feel like i do like the way it sounds i fucking hate it if it wasn't for the memories it brings up of history class growing up i think i would like the german accent way more i like the way it sounds i like german culture okay all right so wait did you guys pick one portuguese portuguese travis yeah portuguese portuguese it is all right yeah that wraps up bold topics i thought that was pretty good jason thank you for the laughs um bold topics was brought to you by the farmer's dog gets you some of that healthy dog food for the pup gotta love it uh stamp of the week baby let's get some stamp of the week this week stamp of the week is brought to you by the royal caribbean that's right after some big plays this weekend uh we're teaming up with them to crown a legend of the week jason who you got Minnesota coach PJ Fleck for wiping his own player's blood on his face.

1:04:31Jason Kelce:I saw this. This was psychotic. I can't tell if I like it. Like most of the time I'm usually in favor of like very caveman-esque type behavior.

1:04:44Jason Kelce:Like, what the fuck? What kind of psycho just rubs the guy's blood on his cheek? A Minnesota Gopher head coach? Psycho. You can tell the players love him, man. I'm here for it, man. If the players love you like that, dog, after a game and everybody's getting excited with you, man, I just feel like you're a great coach, man. That's a good point. That's a good point. sometimes when you're fucking jacked up and you're fucking fresh off a wind you just do some shit man i agree but i just travis don't always stay in the in the framework of a civilized human being you're just like fuck yeah you just let your natural raw instincts and and human nature animal nature takes over listen this it takes one to know one i've never done any shit like that but i'll tell you what man all the times that uh you might be a hunter i think that's big in hunting right you like you eat the heart of like your first kill or something like that or you rub the blood on you maybe he's a hunter your first point about the players being uh seeming to be all for it i mean that's that's all that matters that's all that matters yeah debo samuel set the record for most receiving yards 80 in nfl history without a kit how the fuck is that possible hit 80 yards without a catch oh he had the uh hook and lateral that's not a cat oh i guess that is receiving yards yeah yeah i mean it's a pretty lit play i love a good old i credit travis kelsey for the hook and lateral being a much more used play the fuck out of here i'm that serious we've never ran it i know that's the thing though everybody saw you starting to lateral it and they're like hey actually maybe it isn't as dangerous as we thought this guy might be on to something um you know what i'm gonna go uh off the uh beaten path obviously bjohn robinson tremendous game case keenum just beat the crap out of my philadelphia eagles uh chris uh yeah texas dn collins simmons i'm gonna go with the guy i'm sure travis you know who this is hold on let me pin it that is a 50 a year uh radio guy for the philadelphia eagles it is his name is merrill reese merrill reese you know him merrill reese i have heard this man i believe you've i don't know if you've ever met him but you've definitely heard his voice a part of some of the biggest moments in eagles history this is his 50th season with the philadelphia eagles as the play-by-play announcer they honored him a couple weeks ago i was unable to make it but i saw the t-shirt i'm like dude i gotta wear this nice awesome melody shirt awesome person incredible uh member of the philadelphia community eagles history on his 50th season so yeah i'll give fanny of maryl the season how crazy is that man i'm gonna give merrill the stamp hell yeah shout out to merrill reese for that one that's uh that's legendary stuff right there big guy i'm uh i'm gonna go ahead and uh eagles are gonna absolutely kill me for this uh and i'm sorry but case keenum played his fucking nuts off uh 24 for 34 247 yards two touchdowns one rushing td on the on the dialed up uh qb sneak I'll tell you what, man, you can't say enough about a guy who's, you know, been built up, knocked down in this league, gets his opportunities, still smiles when he goes out there and has fun, man.

1:08:00He's got the kids running around before and after the game. He's just loving life right now, and it's happy. It's good to see a good guy go out there and have a good game and get the love he deserves, man. So shout out to Keenum for getting my stamp of the week, baby.

Derek Henry also is a guy who loves to find the end zone. He's playing back home in Tennessee and only because Jake won't shut up about it. Geno Smith. Geno Smith passing touchdowns. I'm looking at it. Am I excited about having the Jets in my life? Not really. But Jake keeps talking about it. Iris Chatsky won't shut up about it. So maybe I'll throw Jake a bone and look at my man, Geno Smith, who is playing against Chicago. And don't forget, they invented the injury reboot.

1:11:48So if your player goes down in the first half and doesn't come back, your lineup can still cash. That alone is a game changer. Get on PrizePix. Jason, back to you.

That's elite company right there. This shoe was built from the ground up with Caitlin Clark herself.

1:12:40Jason Kelce:The design, the details, all of it ties back to her game. Built with Cushion 3.0, it delivers a responsive feel and the support you need to move confidently in every direction. How about it, man? It flexes with your foot so you can create space, make your move, and change the game, baby. And look, this isn't just a basketball moment. No, this is a cultural moment. Trust us. You want to be early on this one.

1:13:21All right, now let's get to the Jamie Foxx interview. I don't know if y 'all know, I just got signed with the 59ers. The 59ers. So I want all the ladies to get my cash app and my GoFundMe. I got my workout tapes about to be online. You playing wide receiver too? I'm playing wide receiver, but it's a little bit of a throw-up catch where I play quarterback. and I play the Seabrook. You know what I'm saying? So ladies, make sure you check out the 59ers for all y 'all trying to catch on. It's going down. Did y 'all see that? That was nuts. I was in tears. I was dying laughing. I can't believe he finessed that many people.

1:14:041.3 million? Bro, look, bro, bro. I'll tell you, what got me, though, was the workouts. Oh. He looked worse than me. I was like. Bro, I was better than you on any given Sunday. And I was good. Look at this. Oh, man. Knock his block off.

1:14:25Jason Kelce:That's an elite route right there. Elite route. You know how the athletic cones are like a smaller version of a cone so you don't hit it? I love how he just got like the street cones from like the construction down the street. He was literally on 12th. He said, yo, get them cones. Get them cones. I'm trying to get authenticity. So let me tell you a cool B story, though. I play sports, so I understand numbers. right? So we on the beach, we having like a day where we playing throw up, whatever, we playing, living our dreams playing football. But this dude tell this girl, she said, oh my God, did you used to play?

1:14:57Yeah, yeah, I used to play. So this is when Ray Lewis was playing. So the dude said, yeah, I used to play. She said, ooh, you're so fast. He said, yeah, I ran a 4.2. 4.2, yeah. So he gassing these girls, I ran a 4.2. 4.1.5. So you know me, I'm just, TT, I'm just laying back, I said, my dude. He's letting it ride. You did not run a 4.2. I said, bro, this is a Hollywood crowd, so the numbers is, you faking on the numbers, and maybe, you know, we in our 40s now, so you probably forgot that 4.2 is world-class speed. He said, no, Jay. I said, bro, you did not run a 4.2. So I called Ray Lewis. I said, hold on, man.

1:15:37I said, Ray, Fox, what's up, Fox? You know, Ray got that country tongue, so he says my name with an S at the end. Yeah. Foss. Foss, what's up, Foss? What up with it, baby? I said, this dude on the beat say he run a four deuce. Foss. A four deuce? And then Ray said some wild shit. He said, Foss, what his ass look like? I said, hold on, hold on. How do we get to there? Foss, look at his ass, Foss. I said, hey, I don't want to look at the dude's ass. He said, Fox, if he run a four deuce, we can use him. Look at his ass. So I tell the dude, I said, hey, man. Hey, man. Did you turn around? Did you turn around?

1:16:29I got to bend over a little bit. Oh, my God. I said, man, he ain't got no ass. Fox, he lying. I said, cool. So I told the dude, I said, man. I said, dude, you ain't got enough ass. You ain't got enough ass for a four deuce. But I understand whoever dude is to do the 49er thing. I get it because no one really know. They don't know what it takes for y 'all. But I said, man, have you ever seen a real NFL player? Let me give you a little. So on any given Sunday, right? Any given Sunday, of course, like, you know, I'm just so excited to be there. I'm the quarterback. But the dudes that are playing are Arena League football players.

1:17:10But for me and Bill Bellamy and LL and Cameron and God bless Al Pacino, he was like, ah, this is a big guy. He's having a high. Yeah. You know, now it was like 5 '4 and some chains. So, you know, when I'm looking at the Arena League, I'm like, ain't some big sons of bitches. Until Jamie Williams, a real 49, shows up. Yeah. Bro, I'm on the field and I look up and I just see somebody's ass again. I just see an ass. I said, who is connected to that? I just see an ass. And T, you know, he's about to save that. He's six heaven. Yeah. Pigeon toes. And he was like this, what's up, J. Cream? How you feeling?

1:17:58I said, man, what are you doing? What's up, J. Cream? So the difference between an NFL player and just humans.

1:18:07Jason Kelce:Yeah. I don't know what y 'all, because I've seen y 'all in person. Jamie Williams is like so big. I said, oh, my God, they couldn't even get the camera lens to fit this dude. But here's the thing. I didn't know this about Arena League football in real. So I didn't know that the Arena League football players on the set was mad that Jamie Williams shows up. So we run a play where Jamie has the drag in the middle. So, you know, T, you've done it. And I just dump it to him, right? Right. The linebacker from the Arena League tried to go through Jamie King's head. He bounces off of him. No way. Jamie Williams goes, Jamie would pull up.

1:18:54Okay, okay. I see what y 'all doing. He said, but let me tell y 'all something. Jay Cream, they play on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

1:19:04we play on Sunday he said run it he said run it back I said but Jamie he knows the play it don't matter it doesn't matter he said watch this he clicked a boom boom he snapped up I threw it over the middle he ran over the whole set everybody at the end of his run was sitting on the sideline with Tylenol martinis and I said wow So I think that's the thing. When I watched the 49er thing, the dude, I said, man, God bless him. You feel me? Hey, man. He's just trying to get it. You can't go about it like that.

1:19:42Jason Kelce:Well, I just think it's said, you know, we've come a long way as a society because it used to just be rich men getting fucked over. Now, you know, the women are making so much money now. Now guys are pulling the scams on them. So welcome to the club, girls. Welcome to the club. I don't know what you're saying. Hey, they on the beach with a 59er jersey on. Yo, but it's crazy, right? I mean, it's like, like even the song, Where My Stamp, it's like that's what they want. And so, you know, I can't be really mad at him. The only thing I know as a real player, y 'all like, how the fuck y 'all think this is real?

1:20:18Jason Kelce:Yeah. How? The way he planted. You didn't just look up his name on the roster? You can just look up people's names. Hey, man, let me tell you something. This internet thing, man, it's a whole thing. I said, man, look, I said, if y 'all giving out money shit, I'm going to go on and get out my old energy. Sunday taste, man. I'm going to give you some change, man. Get the Willie Beeman. Yeah, get the Willie Beeman on their ass. But that was, oh, my God. But it's crazy. Man, y 'all good? Man, I'm fucking great, man. Life is good. I just got out of training camp, man. Three weeks is just nothing but eat, sleep, and breathe football, man.

1:20:54But y 'all look so good, man. Y 'all look so good at it, doing it, man. I'm trying to tell y 'all, man. And you know what? To be able, this is what trips me up. For you guys to be in the place that you are at, still able to function.

1:21:10Jason Kelce:Right. Because your whole world blew up. And without going into everything, I was like, wow. You know, I was talking to my youngest daughter. I said, you got to watch them. I said, because even though all of this was going on, they were still able to execute and do things great. That's a hard thing, especially in today's world. They penalize you. I know y 'all have it hard because y 'all look good and shit. That's a real shit. Like, I talked to my girl. She's pretty. I said, you got to understand, y 'all either become a this bitch or this motherfucker. So my girl pretty. So when she walk in, the girl's back, this bitch.

1:21:53and then when y 'all walk in all the eyes and the eyebrows the hair and shit I sprayed this shit on this right here I sprayed this motherfucker on when it gets heavy though you got a nice light spray going bro let me tell you something let me explain something to you about culture so black women and black people know this is something going on you feel me My white friends have no idea this, and it ain't even locked in. So I went to a big white party, you know, and these white girls ran up on me. Oh, my God. And they did this. I said, God damn, bitch. You better do that. I had five thumbprints.

1:22:36Actually, I got rid of that.

1:22:40It was like, hey, you ever see somebody getting booked? She was like this. Oh, my God. She was booking them. I said, God damn. This is incredible. So I said, man, it looked like a motherfucking tiger had raked my shit. So y 'all got the hair, the whole, y 'all looking good. So now you on Big Cock and everything. So now you guys are falling victim of the this motherfuckers. When y 'all walk in, this motherfucker right here. It's a blessing and a curse, I guess, man. This motherfucker. Yeah, but you don't even really realize that it is. You're just doing your thing. You're just whooping ass and y 'all doing your thing.

1:23:18but you don't realize that like when I, when I, when I talked to some of the, some of my guys that are in that anxiety, I said, it's tough, man. But the way y 'all handle it and shit and, and you'll whoop at, like, I know your brother whoops some ass. Come on now. Cause your brother don't remember this. Your brother don't remember this. Oh no. Somebody came up to you while you was at training camp or something. And this is when I knew you didn't really fuck with the person that walked up to you.

1:23:47Jason Kelce:Okay. They had me on FaceTime. But you know how people just try to... He was trying to use me to probably talk to you. Yes, yeah, yeah. He's like, yo, I got faster. Get the fuck on.

1:24:03That ain't no fucking way. And then he was like, he got to go do drills. I said, no, he don't fuck with me. Because you look at him like, what? And he was like, Jay, the service is... Oh my God. So they can only fuck with y 'all for so much other than that. You know what I'm saying? They got a far back, man. But this is great, man. Well, you're the fucking greatest, man. Come on, man. Y 'all, man.

1:24:28Jason Kelce:It's already off to an incredible start. We got to give you the proper introduction, though. I love the... We got to get to some of that. They're great. They're great. I love those guys. They're great. Great beards. Great faces. Great patriots. I love the... I like them. I don't know if they voted for me. I don't think they look like they're Republican, but they're probably. I don't know right off the bat. The one with the bigger beard, maybe, but I don't. He looks like a fuck yeah. Fuck yeah. Those are my fans. Oh, my God. All of the guys that vote for me are fuck yes. Fuck yeah. You always hit it on the head, man.

1:25:14Jason Kelce:That is incredible. alright we gotta do this interview we're already running out of iron we just wanna give you the right introduction we just wanna give you the proper introduction I just wanted to show love man and thank y 'all for showing love and I know you know I watch your show I watch you guys it's different right I was blown I was blown away I thought I was coming to do your show and I came to the Warner Brothers I was just kicking it I didn't know it was gonna be on Zoom, I came to the Warner Brothers. I said, oh shit, we at Warner Brothers? Oh, man. Big money. Them white boys got some big money.

1:25:56Because, you know, black dudes, they doing their podcast in the drive-thru of Chick-fil-A.

1:26:04They in Cain's. They in Cain's. No, but I thought I was coming to see y 'all in person. So, man, please carve out a moment. I got to sit with y 'all because I had I had the football in the car. Oh, come on, let's go. Man, let's go. I'll tell you what, man, we got to get you out of the case. You do a game, too, man. I know you love ball. So I come, man, I come. That's crazy. I'm still working on my, you know, on some of my impersonations of your quarterback and stuff like this. So I just go. Oh, my God. I got to get to my home. I got to get you. I got to get you around him. You get around him. You get around him.

1:26:41Because my Mahomes, my Jay-Z, and my Kermit the Frog all kind of... That's it right there. And my Sammy Davis. They got the same kind of, you know, Jay-Z's like, Nice party, it's crazy. Stored off from Arcee Project. And then that's Kermit the Frog. Kermit the Frog, Sesame Street News. It's the same. It's the same voice. Sammy Davis Jr. Because sometimes we can take a sunrise. You know what I'm saying? and then Mahomes. Yeah, you know, Traffs is crazy. It's a little... They got the same throat. You got to get a little bit more Texas to it. That's all it is. Yeah. I'm not Republican, you know, but...

1:27:27You got to make him more Republican. It's hilarious. But anyway, man, I just wanted to say thank you, man. But I thought I was... Yeah, we got to make that happen. We definitely got to do this, 100%. For sure. We're the same way, man. We got to get around you, man. man. You're the best dog. Come on, Jason, Jason, go ahead and give them the proper introduction.

1:27:44Jason Kelce:Alrighty. Our guest today is an actor, comedian, singer, producer from Terrell, Texas. That's right. He's got a Grammy, a BAFTA, Golden Globe, and an Academy award. You know him from in living color and a given Sunday collateral, Ray, Miami vice, Django and Jane, horrible bosses, the amazing Spider-Man. And now he is back with his first Hulu comedy special. Take care of yourself. 92 % please welcome Mr. Jamie Foxx! Yeah!

1:28:13Let's go! I need you in my bedroom. Let's go! Like every time I tell my girl, I say, hold on, watch this. When I come in there, I'm coming in there the worst of shit I've ever listened to. And starting to guard, a 5 '9 phenom, Haley from Terrell Tape.

1:28:29Jason Kelce:Hey, hey, that's a good announcer voice right there. So, hey, we got to talk about that right away. So you did the Trump already. you got the impersonations out crazy in this special like what is is is that what this is are you trying to like basically what it is so so so look i'm 58 years old right so here's the thing most people that see me don't even remember that i do stand-up comedy so i gotta kind of reintroduce in a sense because back in the day when i first started if i was 21 and i had people that was like 35 coming to see me. Now these motherfuckers are 78. I just did a show the other day.

1:29:08I did a show the other day at Bellflower. I went out. I said, can I go up? They said, Fox, we got to get the scooters in place. What? Scooters? We got to get the water. So I look in the camera, and these old motherfuckers are parking in the scooter. I said, what's the thing? He said, Fox, that's your fans now. So I went on stage. I just went on stage. He said, let's get this show over with before y 'all go to heaven. You motherfuckers get all the shit. And I said, y 'all know y 'all old. I said, watch this. Where is my amlodipine crowd? They was like, ah! Now, amlodipine is blood pressure medicine.

1:29:45I'm like, what? This is where I am now? I'm doing blood pressure jokes. It was a black lady in the front, right? She about to eat some nachos. But I checked my watch. I said, bitch, it's 1020. You cannot put that on your stomach. You know it's good. At 20, you're going to have a kind of gas. I'm going to tell you what kind of gas you're going to have. You ever see the game Tetris? Yes. The gas going to be like. I say there's no way. So my sets now are more conversational, talking about where I am. I had a health scare. so you know when I had the health scare first of all I'm happy to be on the planet you look good big guy I feel good and when I went back to meet the nurses that kept me alive this black nurse yo this black nurse I didn't remember all the nurses Jamie we took care of you I said okay thanks she says I listen to future I said what I listen to future I listen to rap I said what does that mean I'm just getting your frame of reference on who I am.

1:30:51I said, okay, fuck it, whatever. Then she goes, Jamie, I want you to know something, though. You're a miracle. She said, because less than 3 % of people that come in with what you have, a brain bleed, less than 3 % walk out of here. We usually put them in a box. I'm like, oh, snap. She said, but when I saw it was you, I rolled my sleeves up. I said, well, thank you. She says, you ain't got to thank me. I rolled my sleeves up for everybody. So I'm like, oh, so that puts you in a different place. like when you cheat death and then I had a cool doctor his name was Dr. Shooty white boy with a Laker jersey on in emergency so you know what I mean he was a cool white boy so when I had my shit so when I had my shit they took me in he said yo I can fix him but I need to go in there right now or we gonna lose him so imagine this white dude with a Laker jersey so my sister was like okay cool do these things And when I get out, shooty with the Laker jerseys on him.

1:31:48I said, man, I got you. I said, you weren't worried? He said, man, it was good. You know, he said, I'm a military doctor. So I see a lot of things. I said, so I was, you took care? He said, yeah, yeah, yeah. I took care of you. He says, but it wasn't me taking care of you. It was after. I said, well, I couldn't figure out if you was lying to me or not. I said, what you mean? He said, because we do a wellness check on you every day. but every time I come in there you say you somebody else oh my gosh and so we didn't know if you was really somebody else or you just clowning you said I say I would ask you who are you you say Dave Chappelle damn it's crazy somebody had a stroke man damn can't believe it someone said Dave Chappelle had a stroke damn so you do that and then one day I woke up you were doing this for the wellness So imagine me like in the hospital with the gown on, ass out, but I'm damn crazy.

1:32:49Get these nurses away from me. They're trying to stick the fingers in my ass, man. Damn. So then he said the next day you was Denzel Washington. All right. Okay. So that's what you're telling me, huh? You're telling me I had a stroke? Okay. All right. My doctor. So he said I couldn't figure out, but I told him, I said if I could stay funny, I could stay alive. I said, because in my head, when I had the brain bleed and the stroke, I couldn't really catch on to nothing. You feel me? So they would, it was like, if I could just do that, then I felt a lot. So, and then like this, this is why I didn't tell nobody.

1:33:27My vitals was so bad, they was going to lose me. So I had a 13-day watch. They had to watch me, but my vitals was going crazy. This is how bad it was. You know I'm a LeBron fan, right? So I'm sitting in the hospital, and it's the playoffs. Yeah. so they trying to keep me calm as I'm watching the game all you hear is bang black brain change

1:33:52so the black girl come and turn this shit on you gonna end up dead LeBron gonna kill your ass so they were trying to keep me calm you feel me so you know what they made me do they made me watch women's collegiate softball

1:34:09Jason Kelce:So it went from It went from To Dink

1:34:17Dink Dink Nigga went to sleep No I'm not clowning on So good So it leads me to Why I'm on stage now So now To be honest with you When I did the first My first one when I got back I had a deal to do stand-up comedy 15, 20 years ago, but I ain't had nothing to talk about. Because comedy comes from a poor man's perspective. It's like rap. It's like when you see rappers finally make it, they start rapping about art and stuff like that. It's dope, but it ain't the same. So when I had my...

1:34:56Jason Kelce:It doesn't hit the same, yeah. Yeah, it don't hit the same. So I had a deal, but I was like, damn, what the fuck am I talking about? My house is dope. I got a G-Wagon. And I've done rich jokes before. That shit don't work out. I'll never forget when I first got on I was on the Living Color and I finally got me a little check I went on stage doing wrist jokes I got that Range Rover, anybody else? Yeah Square footage of my house is like 52 Anybody else? Niggas is there So I went on stage doing wrist jokes and so I didn't have no nothing to talk about and I never get this, this is how I know I went to Eddie Murphy house It was me They invited Eddie to this party He said, I ain't going to come, but y 'all can come to my crib.

1:35:36So it was me, Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Kimmel, Chris Rock, Dave Spel. Imagine all of us going to Eddie house. Yeah, that's crazy. Oh, shit, we got to go. So we show up at Eddie house, right? But that motherfucking house is perfect. It's not conducive to being funny. You feel me? So I walk in, and Eddie, you know, that motherfucker done got so much bread. He came to his balcony and looked down on niggas. He had a robe on. You know what he look like? Xerxes. He look like Xerxes from 300. From 300. Oh, my God. If you would bow to me, I will give you jokes beyond your measure. So this motherfucker comes.

1:36:14I said, oh, he got the robe on. So he comes down. He said, what you on, Fox? I said, what you mean what I'm on? I'm about to get out here and do these jokes. He says, yeah, I was thinking about doing it, too. I said, you can't. He said, what you mean? I said, your house too perfect. He said, what you mean? I said, this shit too nice, bro. Ain't nothing funny. I said you come to my house I call my house black mansion so I leave shit fucked up on purpose he said what you mean I said if my house is too nice nigga I can't be funny so I literally have a bathroom that everybody knows I got a bathroom down the hallway the faucet sprays out I never fix it because I think I won't be funny so I stand outside the hallway and watch people with their nice clothes on going and you hear what the fuck what the fuck Fox got going.

1:37:02So I told Eddie, I said, Ed, it's too nice. I said, you know what else? The reason that it won't work because of that scent. He said, what's that? Whatever that scent. You got that shit pumping. You know how niggas had a... Going to the Aria at a casino all of a sudden you smell lovely. I said, what is that? He goes, that's hibiscus. I said, wait, but the fact that you know the name. The hot biscuit. And it's hot That's Hobiscus Dragon Fruit, my nigga. No, nigga. Hobiscus Dragon Fruit. So now when it came to me, when I got the first deal, I went through what I went through. So I just want to, the place I did it, they were so nice to just let me talk, to just let me get it out.

1:37:49It was sort of like George Carlin and Richard Pryor when they talked about their health day. Like, people was like, man, Foxy, it ain't funny. I said, well, it can't be. I said, I almost died, my nigga. I can't be out here to knock, knock. who's there like I went through some shit. But what it did, it allowed me to have a point of reference of shit went wrong. So now move to Hulu. So now we turn it up a notch, more funny, a little more jokes or whatever like that, things like that, but it's still attached to I'm getting older. I'm reintroducing people to the funny side of me. My daughter now is on there, you know, playing the guitar because my daughter saved my life with her guitar.

1:38:35So that's a must. Because when I was having those complications and my vitals was going crazy, the doctor said we're going to lose them. My daughter overheard them. She was 14. She snuck into my hospital room with her guitar and said, I know what my dad needs. And as she played the guitar, my vitals went down. So everything that you watch on Hulu now is me. it's not a proving that I'm funny that was the first thing I had to get over I said I'm not trying to prove these niggas that I'm funny but I got a story it's already out there you don't ever have to prove that to anybody so my new Hulu funny take care of yourself and it hits a vein like when people I hate to say this bro when people my age see it and understand like when I talk about this I'm funny shit when I got back on my feet I went to a big-ass, young-ass club.

1:39:26I was in Miami at F1 and shit. And I didn't realize, bro, that I became Triple OG. Right? Yeah, Triple OG. It happens overnight. It happens overnight. Yeah, so Jordan Clarkson ran up to me and said, Triple OG. I said, damn, Triple? Funk, you good? I saw your special. You need a chair? I said, fuck.

1:39:51So Jordan Clarkson gave me a chair, and it was F1. It was like, y 'all remember how, it was everybody. It was the Kardashians. It was Timothee Chalamet. It was young. So when he hit me with the Triple OG, he hurt my feelings a little bit, but I'm like, I'm chill, you know what I'm trying to, but I'm so young. I'm so young that some of the girls in there don't even know who I am. So I'm just standing around over there and I didn't want to tell nobody that I still had my dizziness. So at one point, somebody called my name and my dizziness gets activated when I jerk my neck too fast. So imagine it's packed We in Miami, F1 You know what I'm saying, Todd from Canes, everything So somebody said, Fox, I did like this When I turned around, I said, oh shit, I'm finna fall You finna fall I fell Oh no But wait, I would have fell earlier If it wasn't so packed I got dizzy So I bounce around, I hit Timmy the Jalamee The Kardashians I'm just bouncing in the motherfuckers And so I'm getting ready to fall I said, nigga, I can't keep my balance.

1:40:53Because that's what happened with my stroke. It affected my vestibular, right? My vestibular system, which helps your balance. So, nigga, I got my drink in my hand. I said, can't drop my drink because they'll know that I'm old. So I said, fuck it. I'm just going to lean on this little white girl in front of me. Oh, God. And break my fall. Oh, my God. So I leaned on the little white girl. She ain't never worked out in her life. Oh, no. Oh, no. She gave way. I said, ah, she said, ah. So now I'm falling. When she looked back, she see me, some old black man. She like 21. She's like, who's this black person?

1:41:30I'm like, ah. So I lean on her. She lean on her other girl. She ain't never worked out. So we all going, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. So I'm falling. And like, who's this black guy? This old triple O. So I'm falling, bro. I'm falling on the white girl, right? But then I see the table. because it's VIP. So I said, Fox, put your hand on the table and break your fall. There we go. Come on, man. You're an athlete. Come on. So I put my hand on the table. The table is wet. Oh, my God. I'm gone. So finally, I said, fuck it. I just laid out on these white girls. I just laid out on these white girls. Everybody saw it.

1:42:14Timothee Chalamet, the Kardashians. Everybody's watching. Todd from Cain's. I'm laying on these two little white girls. they're screaming bloody murder. Who the fuck is this old black man? So I'm laying on these white girls. And I hear in the distance Jordan Clarkson. Triple OG! Triple OG! On everything I love, he ran over and grabbed me off of these white people and held me up in the air. Now you know he's six what is he, six, seven? About six, five, six, seven. So the motherfucker got me way up. I'm like this. That's the shit. You know what I look like? You ever see the Macy's Day Parade? Oh, yeah.

1:42:54When he's just floating in the air? That was me. Oh, that's hilarious. I was just floating in the air like, damn, I've never seen the club from this vantage point.

1:43:04And what's crazy is, I had some drawstring pants on because it was Miami. So the way he grabbed me was like, he grabbed me in here. So I said, hey, man, your finger. Bro! I got you, Triple OG. Bro! Oh, my God. So, you know how you in Miami... Hey, Trav, come on. You know how you always dress. So I had on some kind of felt. I had like on a felt mixture of felt, felt, Miami felt smotherfucka ring-fingered was in my future.

1:43:43Jason Kelce:But I welcomed it because he was shaving me. So this motherfucker picked me up, and he carried me over Timothee Chalamet, over the Kardashians, over Ty from Cain's, and he sat me in the chair, and he said, Triple OG, you good? I said,

1:44:02You know you failed, Triple OG. Yeah. He said, you know they saw you. They saw you. Who saw me? Timothy Chalamet, Kardashians, Ty from Cain's, and the two little white girls. And then he goes, he goes, he goes, hey, Triple O G, what's up? Take care of yourself. That's the name of my new stand-up. Take care of yourself. So basically what this is, this is, first of all, I want to thank Hulu for allowing me to just tell my story. I got to thank Oakland, because usually when you do a stand-up comedy thing, you go out for a year. I just showed up to Oakland, we shot for two days, and they just allowed me to do my thing.

1:44:47So I'm thankful for that. But here's the thing. This is a progression. So take care of yourself. What happened was take care of yourself. My next one will be Black Forest Gump.

1:44:57Jason Kelce:And that's where I'm telling all the stories, the stories that happened to me. But this is, I'm so thankful. Take care of yourself is a beautiful gym. And it's one of those things where you just sit. I'm asking people, have a sit with me before it comes out. If you smoke, smoke a little bit. You know what I'm saying? Because what I noticed was - Jane now. Yeah. But what I notice is, is that when, when we watching specials nowadays, you know, we ain't got no opening act. So I'm gonna have everybody, you know, catch a little, catch a little, whatever you do, or if you read the Bible, whatever you do.

1:45:29But so then just enjoy it. October 7th. I'll say this though. One of the coolest parts was you actually had your daughter come out to play guitar at the end of the show. So definitely, definitely when you watch this, watch it all the way through, you gotta see her come out. She's incredible. My daughter, she's 17 now, but she's turning into something incredible. I don't know what you guys are doing in October, but she throws the biggest Halloween festival in Southern California. She has 35 ,000 kids. 35 ,000. She started when she was 13 years old. Bro, she says, I want to do a Halloween party, Dad, because it's COVID.

1:46:07I can't meet nobody. I said, cool. She's 13. I said, cool. Run it. 4 ,000 kids show up to my house, bro. I'm like, Annalise and Stel Fox, what are you doing? So I had to go inside of the party to make sure there wasn't nobody doing nothing crazy. Right. Yeah. And it all worked out. But then it grew from there, 5 ,000 to 11 ,000. This last year, 35 ,000. She had Chris Brown perform. She calls people behind my back. She says, Dad, I'm going to beat you throwing parties. So I didn't even know Chris Brown was showing up. Then, you know, everybody's in their full makeup. Somebody bumped me. It was Leonardo DiCaprio.

1:46:45He pulls up his mask. I said, what you doing here? He says, my little niece called me, told me to come. So now when Leo was there, my daughter said, Dad, Dad, you got to give him a shout out. I said, no. I said, OK. So anytime I shout out Leo, I never say his name. I said, give it up. We got a wolf in the building. Right? My daughter run up to me. Dad, they don't know what the fuck that is. We're 14. 14 I said go ask your uncle Is it okay So she go ask Leo I say ladies and gentlemen Kids We got Leonardo da Cat They go crazy So she said dad I told you I was going to beat you throwing parties So Chris Brown performed Leo was there Ty Dolla$ign Tiger Sexy Red Glow Rilla And it's been going So my daughter Oh my gosh And you'll feel this You'll feel this You know like when your kids grow up and you see them get their own thing.

1:47:41My daughter's like, Dad, I don't want nothing from you. She said, I don't want nothing from you. I'm going to get my own thing. She's done it. By having her on the show with me, it's a must because she got her own thing. She's so cool, man. You see how I am. She's like, yo, chill. What you mean chill? She's a dad. We just did the Snoop Dogg Christmas thing, right? Yeah. So when we get there with Snoop, I'm going all crazy. She's like, yo, Dad, chill. We saw Caitlyn. I'm like, there's Caitlyn. She says, Dad, I know. Chill. And Snoop is laughing. Yo, yo, yo. Hey, cuz, she got you, cuz. I said, just.

1:48:24She says, Dad, you know what you are, right? I said, what? You're shallant. Shallant. Yeah, not nonchalant. She said, I'm not a shallant. I said, oh. Oh, I just, yeah, dad, I get it. So I love the fact that she's cool, she's got her own thing, and the fact that she rocks with me on my show, that's it. You know what I'm saying? Like I told, I said, your dad, your dad have, I've had moments that before you even got here, those are my moments. Now, this is your moment. This is your time, man. She steps in, she kills you. I was going to say, it's not only her, but you got beat Shazam. Yeah, B. Shazam and my oldest daughter.

1:49:08Now, my oldest daughter, I got to be honest. My oldest daughter, when I went down, she became Michael Corleone. Oh. Let me make you understand. So in The Godfather, remember Mike said, I don't want to be with the family. You feel me? I'm with my girl on a date. So he walk in this Christmas, and he look at the newspaper, and he sees this. And Al Pacino grabs the newspaper. It doesn't say if he's alive. It doesn't say if my father's alive. It doesn't say if my father is alive. Michael, what's wrong? Mike, my father, Michael, what's wrong? What's going on, Michael? He's like, my father is saying something happened to my father.

1:49:46And Mike turned that shit on, went to the hospital, knew that they was coming to kill his dad. He see the dude that was the cake maker says, he says, I want you to stand here. There were people coming here to kill my father. Okay, stand here and act like you got a gun. And he took over. That was my daughter. When I went down, she stepped in the hospital and she says, I got him. So there. That's one thing. But then after that, she took over my whole, she runs my whole production. So we beat Shazam. She's been a family, man. Every Tuesday, beat Shazam. But my daughter, and look, I know she don't mind me saying it.

1:50:23My daughter is a boss. Like, you know, she's always been like sweet and kind. But now that she's the boss, she does this thing. I don't even know if she does. She notices. She gets an underbite when she's mad. Yeah, I know what that's like. Yeah, like if something goes on, she just turns into LeBron.

1:50:48Hey, man, I got to pull up on y 'all. Please, by all means, you get the chance. You get the chance. Please do. I know I probably exhausted the time, man. But all I'm going to tell y 'all is this. is that, man, if I ever get a chance to be around you, there's some things that I don't want to say on here, but I really, really appreciate you. And I'm going to tell you why. Because with all the creative chaos, there's certain people that you watch and you feel good about it. That's all I said. I don't disparage. I don't podcast. You're the greatest though, big guy. I said, this is different and I appreciate you.

1:51:26And that's it, man. Y 'all look too good. I got to get off here and go do some dips. Before you go, though, I just want to say thank you for being you from the jump, from the comedy jam days to the in-living color days to nowadays. When I met you, you were just as down to earth and just as nice as anybody I could have ever met, knowing you are one of my favorite entertainers. You're one of the greatest of all time, baby. It really is insane. All the way across the board, I had to give you those flowers before you got off here. I just want to say thank you for being you, big guy. Thanks, guys. Thank you for the laugh, man.

1:51:55My cheeks hurt like a motherfucker, bro. Come on, man.

From the publisher

92%ers, welcome to another episode of New Heights, brought to you by Reese’s! Today, we are joined by Kyle Juszczyk and Jamie Foxx!

First, we’ve got a huge announcement for our Kansas City 92%ers, Travis recaps the win over the Dolphins, we react to Case Keenum’s huge upset over the Eagles, try and make sense of what happened in Rio, debate the NFL’s pass interference problem, and get a special delivery from Caitlin Clark.

Kyle Juszczyk stops by to plead his case, let us know what he was really chugging on the field, and celebrate the rise of the fullback.

We’ve also got an electric conversation with Jamie Foxx. We revisit the hysterical NFL ‘Wide Deceiver,’ hear some incredible stories about Ray Lewis, learn why it’s not safe to be the “triple OG’ in the club, how Jamie’s kids literally saved his life during his medical scare, and so much more!

Jamie’s new special “Take Care of Yourself” premieres October 7th on Hulu.
