1:10Jason Kelce:You're a yak man.
1:21Jason Kelce:I'm a yak man. I was so fired up when I saw Brandon put that in the rundown. That was a brilliant segment, and I appreciated that. We need a social edit from the team with Travis over Scatman Jim, or whatever his name was, face. I'm a yak man. We can definitely do some stuff with AI and all that stuff. Everybody loves AI, right?

2:20That is right, the President's Cup is this week It's going to be a whole lot of fun over there in Chicago Jason, why don't you tell everybody what the people got coming up?
2:28Jason Kelce:We've got a great episode for you guys I will be representing the NH from CH 90 %ers, we're going to react to the Tom Cruise episode We got all of the week two in the NFL Little reactions coming up here Chiefs overtime win, Eagles comeback in Nashville And then, of course, the highlight of this episode will be two absolute legends, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are here. Ooh, baby. Yeah, that's right. They're going to talk about their new show, Brothers, some wild stories from their friendships, and so much more. All right, all right, all right. Let's get into it with some of that new news.
3:08Jason Kelce:New news. New news is brought to you by Xfinity. And in case you missed it, we dropped our Tom Cruise episode last week on Friday. Did you know Guillermo del Toro was a 90 %er? Because I did not know that. He retweeted the following. Travis and Jason understand the assignment, showed up with their game face on, and mopped the floor. Cool question. Great vibe. Lots of laughs. Great conversation with Charisma King. Dude, this is awesome. Are you fucking kidding me? Thanks, Tweety Energy. Thanks to both. Yeah, and then Mr. del Toro. Lights, camera, action. All right. is there anything we wish we would have got to?
3:49Jason Kelce:I mean, listen, I could have talked to Tom. He's one of the most conversational human beings I've ever met in my life. Without a doubt. Even before the interview started, I'm like, dude, we could have been doing this podcast for the last hour. Seriously. The night before, that morning, he's a very inquisitive human being. Tom has, every time I've talked to him, has a genuine interest in who you are, why you do what you do, how you do it and it lends itself really really well to this type of format podcasting especially when you get them in person man so it was awesome to obviously talk about his movie digger coming up uh we were more than happy to talk about that because we loved both screening that movie i'm trying to think like what i wish we would have asked him about and i don't i don't know i wanted to ask him about all the right moves and uh whether whether or not that was the first uh time he had ever put on football pads we didn't even ask him if he played ball yeah i mean it would have been nice maybe to get to that he had do you remember this movie oh i know what movie you're referencing yes so it was so he had on uh the neck roll with the the inner tube uh neck roll yeah like the foam that would like go around yeah how funny is it looking at old like football pictures even just a shoulder games college that's what i'm saying it is so funny to look and see what football was i was watching the water boy the other day yeah yeah and the sandman is out there with his like hip pads the pants first of all the pants don't even fit the knee pads are like down by the shins the like thigh pads are like just above the knee and like the the hip pads oh yeah are sticking out of the pants and you could see them well that's what the hip pads used to be that's what i had them you had those a roxborough middle 100 you would have to put them in the but we always put them over though i always put my jersey and pants over like he would they were like yeah i mean he was doing it to be funny yeah right but yeah but that's but if the jersey was short enough like that's just how you know what i mean yeah i used to rock them back in the day Do they still wear those style of hip pads in middle schools?
6:01Jason Kelce:No chance. Right? No chance. That's long gone, right? It's got to be. I feel like everybody nowadays has the - The built-in hexapad girdles? Yeah, all that shit. Yeah. That's what I ended up using by my senior year of high school for sure. I feel like I stopped wearing hip pads the moment they said, you don't have to wear hip pads. What other pads have been made obsolete? The forearm shivers, man. Dude, the forearm shivers. I wore those. You used to love those things. I was a big Rudy fan. I put the forearm shivers on. It had like the cloth that would go through this finger so that it would stay on and it wouldn't like go down.
6:35Jason Kelce:It was like a pad on the back of the hand all the way up the forearm. Dude, the forearm shivers. Nothing said I'm about to fill the A gap like some forearm shivers. Yeah. Yeah. What else was there? There's a neck. The neck roll is, I mean, it gets brought back every once in a while. Not as prevalent as it used to be. It's still there. I see guys rocking it every now and then. you'll get some old linemen that have stinger issues rocking the hump. You know what I mean? It's not necessarily as much of like what the cowboy collar was. Crazy. Like, cause Saquon put it on this, this past week, he got a stinger first play of the game and he had the cowboy collar.
7:10And after that, nobody,
7:12Jason Kelce:nobody wears the cowboy collar that I see anymore where the jerseys up over it though. Like the water boy, I guess I did see Patrick, Patrick, Patrick had a nice little neck roll going on. Ogletree from the Colts had one on too. It's definitely still in it where the jersey comes over it, but the fucking, the one that like was like, this dude is reckless and he is fucking batshit crazy is the one that just used to be a backboard. Just a backboard. You can't move your head at all. Your head is just stuck. So you don't need to look right or left. You're just going straight. it's like a horse blinders mobility is not important just being able to run through somebody and not break your neck is important anybody with that thing was fucking shit up people love the line of scrimmage talk with tom the football talk i think we should do more football talk with more of our guests we get a lot of people from entertainment that i think sometimes we try to really highlight their careers and things that we think you guys would be interested but it turns out you guys just want to learn about football so that's pretty cool uh this is so good tom cruise being randomly in this conversation makes it even better so let's just keep bringing people into the the nerdiness of ball what would be another conversation to have with the the problem is the reason we did is because tom was asking questions like he's just that type of guest yeah if you get some good if you give us some good questions we're not we're not afraid to talk some ball now nate tice also commented on the football discussions god i would have lost it if tom cruise was like you gotta look to see if the safety is capping the nickel you have to man especially if you're at the end of that uh that offensive line man it's important you gotta make sure you keep the eyes over there listen hey we all got a job to get somebody fucking killed nowadays it feels like he's always capping the nickel yeah there's a lot of too high what else do you look at the nickel do you look at anything else corner press off and soft the end tighter tighter dm will be one if the nickels pressed off when you're split wide that's one thing i've always wanted to know the receivers can tell when the corners blitzing they say but they're never loud enough though go ahead well said davante smith to be loud enough he'd be screaming that motherfucker i'd be like oh yeah that corner's blitzing i've never even heard davante talk yeah i know it's surprising that's why it was that's why it stands out to me it's like oh shit what'd he say oh shit davante's talking oh cat um what is so cat is a corner blitz how do receivers know when that corner is blitzing what's what are they looking at most corners are savvy players right you get some savvy alarm they won't always just be right up in your grill with a great stance right it's kind of like whenever uh you would try and like uh what is it you were talking about um javon hargrave leaning yeah Yeah, Hargrave leaning and all this, like you're trying to like entice the false start.
10:15Yeah. It's kind of like you can tell a guy is doing a little bit, something a little bit different.
10:20Jason Kelce:There's a disturbance in the air. Something, the force is misaligned. Another one is deer in the headlights or deer on the lawn. Yeah. All of a sudden you just see him freezing. He's not looking anywhere. We used to call it statue players. If a linebacker was just standing there, not moving, just looking. Don't look at me. No one look at me. I'm not doing anything. I ain't doing anything. Just hanging out over here. Not looking suspicious. Blitz. Shout out Big Ed Kelsey for stopping by Operation Breakthrough. Story time. Dude, do you remember when dad used to read to us? I don't.
11:03Jason Kelce:do you remember
11:07Jason Kelce:why do you read to everyone else except for me oh so now that there's cameras around you read to the kids oh
11:16uh nah man he's just he's having a good old time over at operation breakthrough man i'll tell you what man it is fun to go over there man those kids are they'll light up your life man And that'll just make you feel the love and how much they appreciate everyone that walks through those doors, man. But shout out to Big Ed reading to the first graders. I think he came back this week and read to the second graders. So he's on a reading tour, man.
11:41Jason Kelce:All right, we can get out of this segment. I think that is it for new news. And it is brought to you by Xfinity. Travis, get us some bold topics, huh? Bold topics it is. Bold topics is brought to you by Allstate. That's right. You're in good hands with Allstate. You know who's gotten out to an all-start is the Kansas City Chiefs. Chiefs, 33, Colts, 30, overtime victory in Arrowhead, 2-0. Patrick Mahomes. 2-0 feels real good, baby. What do we got? Mahomes, 32 for 47, 382, three touchdowns. Travis Kelsey going over the century mark. Kenneth Walker going over the century mark. Trav, what are your thoughts on the game from this past week?
12:22I'll tell you what, man. That Colts team, you better not sleep on them. Yeah. they can play some fucking football man um they got good d-line good o-line great running back they're wide receivers man danny dimes they seem like they're all on the same page they got keenan allen over there always always finding a way to get open and underneath and you know they got good tight ends warren tyler warren is another one he's he's an all all-around football player you know he's he can inline block he can stick his face in the fan and uh and block in line and then on top of that man he's he's a force with the ball and you know he's always gonna he's always gonna finish downhill in terms of when he gets hit so um that's that's a good football team man but I'll tell you what I couldn't be more proud of how our team reacted to to the to the level of play that they were playing at they came out wanted the ball got seven early we came out did the same thing it was just it was there was never a doubt in our mind that we were gonna go and do our job and obviously we got to clean a lot of things up there's there's always something to do better, especially when you take a team into the last second of the overtime to beat them.
13:29And we got to put up more touchdowns. You know, our defense is doing a good job holding them to three and outs there. And I think like the third or fourth quarter, something like that. And we had opportunities to really, you know, put our foot on the gas pedal and run away with it. But the way we're playing football, how we're playing together, how we're showing up in big moments on big third downs. Can't say enough about Tyquan Thornton coming up huge on a couple big time third downs and the way Kenneth Walker is leading our team right now in the run game man it's that kind of energy is infectious yes and and it's it's it's it's leading us right now it's making
14:06Jason Kelce:us play that much harder for him yeah what do you think is the biggest reason like obviously last year the slow start 0-2 all of a sudden 2-0 this year looks like a completely different team what is it as simple as adding Kenneth Walker is there more to that it looks like more under center the The offense has changed quite a bit. It just feels like there's a lot more unity. And, you know, it may be just over the summer and all the acquisitions that we got, not only the players but the coaches. But just in the building, the determination and the mindset, there's a different feel from how we go to work during the week.
14:44Just our chemistry in the locker room and on the field and uh and everybody's just kind of playing off of each other and it's a fun game when you're doing that man you get everybody all in on on the the guys next to him success and you know playing their tail off for the for the man's next to him success it's just it's so much more fun man and uh and that's what you see right now and then sure enough man you got patty bahomes out there the good texas gunslinger man he was fucking letting it rip right right a few of them caught me off guard, man. I got to get my fucking head around. But man, he's putting the ball where it needs to be and he's getting that ball out on time, which is really helping out the offensive line too.
15:25Jason Kelce:Speaking of getting the ball to the Big Yeti, we got this picture. The Yeti was out in Arrowhead. Colts brought him out. Who's this guy grabbing on your jersey right here bringing the Yeti out? That's hilarious. I have no idea. Might be our guy, Sauce Gardner. Oh, nice. There we go. Friend of the show. Friend of the Bearcats. Trap, we got to show your touchdown. Let's put up the Big Yeti's touchdown for everyone to see in all of its glory you want to walk us through what's going on here they're in a cover four kind of just keep everything in front kind of defense and yeah cover for the flats and the and underneath is going to be open so right you got to find the void and then on top of that just be on time with the qb pat put it right on the fucking money like i said pat was ball out on time fast in the guy's hands as fast as possible and let them get some work after the catch and And sure enough, we got in the end zone there.
16:15Got Xavier blocking for me there on the outside and letting me get in the end zone.
16:19Jason Kelce:Not your best dive. You look like you're in between. You wanted to dive or just run in. You kind of just. Yeah. Well, Xavier did a great job of getting a body on a body. I thought I was going to have to try and go over top. And then I realized I didn't. And then I just look like a fat old guy trying to get in the end zone. Well, you didn't look like a fat old guy the rest of the game. And we have a special edition of this touchdown for a lot of people that probably have not heard this. One of Trav's favorites, we have the Korean call. Brandon, if you will. One of my favorites.
17:02Jason Kelce:Let's go, man. It's just so much more electric. I don't care if it's like Korean announcers, Mexican announcers. I was like, gosh. Shout out to all the Chiefs fans over there in Korea, baby. Let's go, man. Fire me up. So internet is also running wild with Taylor's celebration. Let's take a look at this. My wife, after I killed the spider she saw in our house. Nice. Yeah, listen. You know what I mean? Just doing my deed as a husband. Me after failing to parallel park in the same spot 10 times, and he gets out to do it himself.
17:36That's too good. Me when my husband actually finds all the right stuff at the grocery store without calling me nice. Internet's having a good old time with this shit. These are awesome. My neurosurgeon breadwinner wife watching me shotgun my 11th beer of the night. Let's go, man. Listen, man. Proud wife, baby. Got to make my girl proud.
17:57Jason Kelce:My girl when the tour guide at the historical site says that I ask very good questions.
18:07Jason Kelce:my wife when i figure out which alarm is chirping due to low battery and swap it out dude that's a big one there's nothing more annoying i'm telling you i fucking hate that those smoke alarms uh my wife after i get cut off an hour into the open bar that's him he's got to go home but he he gave it his all my wife after i break down seven delivery boxes without asking what in God's green earth she ordered. How I want my wife to react when I fix the Wi-Fi by unplugging it and plugging it back in. That's very good. That's a banger. What do we think about the Colts' decision to kick the field goal in OT and give Pat another drive to win?
19:00Jason Kelce:Fourth and eight. Fourth and eight. I mean obviously now that we're talking about it right here probably shouldn't have done that probably should have gone for fourth but uh see that's the thing when you know you're going second yeah by the way by the way yeah we're gonna talk to it we're gonna get to it we're gonna get to it point toss was crazy we're gonna we're gonna get to it we're gonna get to it baby hold on we're gonna get to it let's stay focused here first it's up next that was so crazy um I think that when you do accept that you're gonna be the team going second and you have it in front of you on whether or not you know i mean the decision is do i tie it do i went to or do i you know try and guarantee myself the win i i just feel like you got to go for it yeah no i hear you when you know what's in front of you to win the game in one instance the game is in your control to try and win right in the other one it's like we're basically getting a tie at best if we kick the field goal the fourth and eight is a little one that gives me some of a pause like i if i think if it's fourth and five it's a no-brainer or less you think three yards no i think fourth and eight because because you're already in the red zone you gotta defend that's why i think but this that's why i think you gotta defend the end zone that's why i think eight is harder because the end zone is shrinking that distance where they were at i'm saying i probably still would have gone for it too I guess maybe I don't know what I've fucking done.
20:28Jason Kelce:It's easy for me to say now I would have gone for it. But I think if it's fourth and five, there's a little bit more space with how condensed that area is because of the end zone. Fourth and eight, those safeties aren't going to be backing up very much, man, because of where it was in relation. I think they're going to be, if you think about red zone defenses, the hardest ones are the ones that are playing in the end zone and keeping everything in front. Yeah. Because they don't want anything in the, like to give up in the end zone. I think the safeties would have been in the end zone, but I think those hook to curl players would have been sitting at eight and there's not going to be any space because of the condensed.
21:02I don't know. I don't know, man. I don't know. I think, I think because you're so close to the red zone, you can, you got a quarterback that can sling it tight windows, a red zone, a good, like a good red zone kind of defenses, keep everything in front. And even the underneath guys back up to like, they used to call it red zone seven, where the guys would literally just sit right on the goal line and just keep everything in front of them.
21:28Jason Kelce:But I think that they would have treated that like the first down marker and the safeties would have been behind it. Either way, I'll defer to you because you know way more about coverages. I just thought where they were at in the field makes fourth and eight even harder as opposed to being like if it would have been fourth and eight from the 40, it's like, oh, yeah, we'll go for this all day. Yeah, I think fourth and eight over time, knowing that you got to score a touchdown to win the game, I think you, I don't know. I would be in favor of, if like everybody in the class, raise your hand if you want to go for it.
21:59I'd be like, let's fucking.
22:01Jason Kelce:That's kind of the way players always, I would have always been go for it. Come on now. I don't want to give them the ball back. I don't want to give them the ball back. Am I going to fucking punt the ball to them? Yeah. Let's get to what you wanted to talk about before we, I just kind of put pause on it. We got a no dumb question about the OT coin toss. This is what Trav was referencing. For those of you that don't know, there were some shenanigans at the coin toss that Trav I'll let you dive into. The note of question from BK for real 1989 is this week. Note of questions. These will address the defer situation because some dummies don't understand it.
22:36Jason Kelce:Not just dummies. Some players don't understand. Brandon, can you ask the bros on new heights to break it down? Maybe encourage a good old fashioned Jason. Oh, they want me to rant about it. I think Trav, you know more. I'll throw him a rant, but yeah, let's see. Let's see what happened. NFL coin, the arrowhead is heads. The NFL shield is tails. What is your call? Called tails? It is tails. Would you like the ball? Would you like the ball? Would you like to play defense? We like the kick. We like the kickoff. We like the kick. Where do you want to go? That boy Pat was locked in. Indianapolis won the toss.
23:14Jason Kelce:They will play defense. Kansas City will attack. This ball. so good patty patty was locked in yeah yeah he's not yeah i'll tell you what i don't even know if defer is something you could say in that situation it's not so by him saying deferred the ref was like that's not one of your options for those of you that don't know what the options are at the coin toss at the beginning of the game the ref will flip the coin whoever wins a toss has one of three options. You can either receive, meaning you're taking the ball. You can either defer, which actually is meaning I want to choose in the second half whether I want the ball or not.
24:01Jason Kelce:Or you can choose to kick. No one ever chooses kick because if you kick in the first half, you forfeit your choice in the second half and then the other team can get an extra possession. him tebow i believe did kick i think i think he's notorious for being the only person ever to say kick no no there's been more than that there's that it's actually been such a problem that at the kick at the coin toss now that the ref will like not even yes the same thing that happens because it's happened so much guys fuck it up that especially because man that's you're in a big moment it's a big moment there's a lot of eyes on you not a lot of people are used to that much you know i mean pressure to be say the right thing at the right time it could like they could kind of like startle you in a second like wait what did coach say and then all of a sudden the pressure's on yeah the clock's ticking you're just like yeah kick yeah exactly yeah well and it's it's made worse too with like a lot of teams i know andy's this way a lot of it's game day captains so like you get captains out there that aren't even used to making these decisions and then all of a sudden they're just like oh we want to kick it's like fuck now we just lost possession and do halves so this one's a little bit different because like trav said in overtime defer isn't even an option like it's not a choice you can make there's no you either take the ball or you can't there's no second half to defer there's no point in winning the toss well there's nothing there's nothing to defer to the reason you know you do the reason you defer in the first half is because you want to choose in the second half there's not a second half of overtime so deferring is kind of pointless but that'll help them out in the regular one now too and i'm like dude i kind of i'm on board with like you say the wrong thing i think you should be penalized for there ain't no babying around here man we ain't gonna walk you through this so that's uh the shenanigans that happened at the coin toss a lot of uh a lot of people don't really know what's happening trav you're a yak man

26:30Jason Kelce:I'm a yak man. I was so fired up when I saw Brandon put that in the rundown. I thought that was genius. That was a brilliant segment. and I appreciated that. We need a social edit from the team with Travis over Scatman Jim or whatever his name was, face. I'm a Yak man. We can definitely do some stuff with AI and all that stuff. Everybody loves AI, right? Get me going. All right. Trav passed Marshall Falk for most Yak yards of all time, which is fucking crazy. This is by far the craziest thing. I honestly like one of the coolest accomplishments I've ever had. did you know you were this close i had no idea i was even in the ballpark yeah i this came out i didn't know i was top five top 10 top like ever like i didn't i would have i would have guessed there were so many more and it's kind of ironic that it's a running back that leads this list i mean obviously terrell owens was on there as well larry fitz was on there as well um i mentioned it to uh to a few reporters after the game it's like i grew up watching a guy like terrell owens take slants to the fucking house and being like man it must be really cool to be that fast and do that kind of stuff with the football in your hand you know what i mean like i like i looked at larry fits was like one of the first college football games i ever went to the it was when you were getting recruited by pittsburgh and we went to that notre dame pit game seeing him in person is like man that's a big son of a buck like running around and just unbelievable at football and to be in the conversations with those guys and like to be in like just that world obviously I'm not saying that I'm any bit of the same player as those guys but what I'm saying is that it's pretty cool to be in the conversations of a stat like this now obviously I've had unbelievable play calling i've had unbelievable players around me downfield you don't get this kind of stuff without having the the guys around you to to help you get these yards but at the same time man it's a pretty cool uh pretty cool stat to be a part of that when i got the ball in my hands i'm doing i'm doing you know the most i can with it and it's it's proven throughout the the history of the nfl that i've been uh i've been pretty good at it so i think this is the greatest record you have i really do dude yak yak was and it's i guess i don't hear it referenced as much nowadays like yak when we were growing up was like a huge stat that everybody talked about like this guy not only is a kester ball but what do you do after you get how much are you adding to the play yourself um absolutely insane marshall falk terrell owens larry fitz like all the guys that were also up there in the top five and to think that you're the number one player in the history of the nfl with the most yards after catch is fucking crazy it's it's awesome it's it's the least bun stat i think you could have damn i'm the yak man i'm the yeah you're the harry uh clark had me take a take a shot of uh some yak oh there you go there you go after the game with him man that was pretty love it andy reed shout out um i see kelsey broke another the record hangs around long enough uh he'll break all of them which that's the thing that is pretty true you play long enough you're gonna get close to to some records man shout out to big red for dialing me up i didn't think marshall would be number one in yak when you think about it but when you do like go back to the plays in your head of what made him so special he was like the greatest pass catching running back of all time ever not and i don't think it's even close no yeah so and all of those a lot of those are little flat routes that he's making guys miss and freaking taking to the house screens one man to beat give him one man get him in a situation where he's got to make one guy miss and you're fucking cooking it was a huge part of the greatest show on turf because you couldn't just put safeties back there and like the second level guys like dropping coverage because you got to deal with fucking marshall falk underneath dude i always thought when we had similarly when we had darren sproles we would be doing all these things and all this i was like hey guys how about when it's man coverage you just put the ball into darren's hand out in the flat because ain't no fucking chance a 250 pound linebacker is going to tackle that motherfucker in the open space like what are we even talking about right now all right only player in nfl history to record at least 12 000 rushing yards and 6 000 receiving yards in his career marshall fall i mean just the greatest all-purpose back of all time jesus some other highlights we got emmett johnson made three colts tackle themselves let's take a look at this hey oh shit let's fucking go man ankles like that
31:30man this guy has shown up every single chance he's gotten and he is really opening some eyes man and it's cool to see how he attacks the day now granted he's got a fucking all pro right in front of him all pro athlete all pro you know what i mean how he handles his job how professionally he is in the building how hard he works in practice he's seeing how it's done the right way and how that's being you know i mean reciprocated onto the field all he knows is this so it's cool to see him get that leadership in that room from a guy like kenneth walker but at the same time man he's uh he's taking his opportunities and he's absolutely ran with it and he's fucking having fun out there man he's having fun out there making plays for us man
32:17Jason Kelce:no doubt i mean it's it's been fun watching him and you can only do with the opportunities you're given, right? And it's awesome to see a guy, obviously he's got an incredible player, best running back in the league probably through the first two weeks in front of him, but you still you know, you got to make do with what you get and he's making the most of the opportunities he is getting. It's been great to see all of these new pieces. Emmitt Johnson, obviously Kenneth Walker, a little D-line running back option. How about Kyrus Tonga? Come on, KT. Come on, big dog. Let's see the big man in action.
32:506-2-335.
32:54i'm not gonna lie dude he got that he got that engine running and i was not gonna be denied at all man yeah let's go what's funny is for years you guys have been doing that with a halfback
33:08Jason Kelce:because you don't have a fullback and yeah and sometimes not even half back in the backfield he just moves up into that little offset position and you run the fullback dive play now we actually got one in the game and buddy is coming downhill like a freaking freight train good luck stopping that for a yard my goodness he's done a great job on a lot of the short yardage stuff on just blocking and sure enough man and coach reed's offense if you're going to go out there and and and play play your tail off man he's going to find a way to get you the ball in a in a situation where it benefits your uh your uh your skill set man fullbacks are coming back and I mean listen this is another example of how much the Chiefs offense has shifted I mean short yardage this play hasn't shifted this is a play you guys have been running since Andy Reid in the dawn of time of him being in Kansas City we ran it in Philadelphia but so much more is under center so much more now there's a fullback incorporated actual fullback not a makeshift player the power you guys are running more power than I think anybody else in the league looks like it has been awesome to watch all this stuff and i want to see more kairos tonga i like i'm a i like the full come on now baby i like the man in the backfield come on it's electric man all righty well listen chiefs head to miami next outstanding game uh start the season really i mean it's been probably could not have been better for the kansas city chiefs huge rebound from last season excited to go to south beach yeah it's going to be even more humid than it is here i heard it's a it's like 20 percent more humidity down in Florida.
34:44We've been we've been working through some dog days in terms of the humidity here in Casey, but there's nothing like going down there to old South Florida. I've I trained there a little bit, maybe not South Florida or maybe not South Beach or Lauderdale, but I trained down in Florida in the offseason. So I'm familiar with it. And man, you can you better go down there hydrated and and and fueled up, man. We know Miami's they're searching for a win all right all right can't wait to watch it thank you to our presenting partner Reese's okay be honest when a guy scores and does the Lambo leap into the stands is he celebrating or is he checking to see if any fans have any Reese's yeah because think about it if you uh
35:31Jason Kelce:ran a full route adrenaline pumping you jump into the crowd during winter there better be a Reese's waiting for you up there. That's the only logical explanation. Nobody's leaping into freezing cold stands for high fives. That's a Reese's mission. Look, pay close attention this season, and you may realize everything happens for a Reese's. All right, thanks to our partner Xfinity. Football's back. And when your defense is locked in, you don't even have to think about it. You just play. Yeah, that feeling that everything's handled so you can just focus on the game, That's what this season's all about.

Eagles 24, Titans 20. How about it, man? I was not expecting the Eagles-Titans game to be that close.
38:17Jason Kelce:Yeah, I don't think anybody wanted it to be that close from Philadelphia. I'll tell you what, a lot of good things to take out of it, though. Here's the reality. I think it's hard to win in this league. and you take them out you get them they're playing i think there's like a reading it was like 140 or something like that on the turf or some stupid shit like people were pouring water on their fucking cleats it was nuts down there and this is a guy that i mean robert salad he's beaten us twice he beat us with the jets who we all know how good the jets have been right jake and then he also they beat us last year in the playoffs when he was in dc over in uh in san france so salad's defenses have has given us issues and particularly they've given jalen issues in the past which is one of the reasons i was so happy actually in the game to see jalen play so i know you had the early pick six you had another pick where jeffrey simmons almost took his head off while he was throwing it uh that went a little bit more understandable but overall i mean through the first two games jalen is the reason why they have won these two games he has played in big moments he's delivering the ball from the pocket he's making big time throws in this game in this game in particular, man.
39:21Jason Kelce:Dontavian Wicks going off in both games. They obviously have chemistry right away. Unfortunately, Goddard goes down. He was having a great season up until the injury in this one. God, I hate that for Dallas. I just, you know, it's been awesome to see Jalen play the way he has, especially against a defense like this that is really, all they've done really is rush four, push the pocket, keep Jalen in the pocket and make him throw against his own coverages and he executed so well um so very happy for that part of the game well 26 for 37 for 264 two tubs um that's a pretty damn good game man and like you were saying man when it when it mattered most he was putting the ball where it needed to go getting the ball out well not only when it mattered most but those stats don't even tell you like they had the running game again was pretty non-existent like there was so many third down conversions i think they're the number one team in third down yardage this year.
40:19Jason Kelce:And a lot of the reason for that is that they have to be there in third in ridiculous situations at a high clip. Now I, I like, I, they have nowhere to go, but up in first and second down right now. But I think what, what Jalen has done in the circumstances he's been given and how well he's executed, I think is really, really well done. I'm glad you agree, Ellie. head away girl go birds um i want to ask you well hit me so 2 000 yard rusher cycle and barkley what is why is it like to to the fans that are like why isn't it a 2 000 yard rusher every like why is it just a one thing like you know what i mean like why is it 2 ,000 yards every year?
41:10Yeah. Like, what do you think is the biggest thing? Is it just like, I mean, it's hard to fucking go back to back and have that much success in the league?
41:22Jason Kelce:Let's take the 2 ,000-yard mark out, because I think that's an incredible achievement. Let's just say a great running game, right? So from the 2 ,000-yard rushing season Saquon had in his first season with the Eagles, dating back to really since Jalen has been with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles were a top five, number one, number two, number three team in the league rushing. A big reason for that, and this is one thing that I get upset with, and I think Jeffrey Simmons is an amazing player, and I get a lot of the analysts that try to evaluate Jalen, and they say like the quarterback stuff.
41:59Jason Kelce:A big reason for that run game being so dominant is Jalen Hurts, and he has never gotten enough credit for that. He's a big reason why the offense has been able to function. And it was way different. It was not the complex things that the McVeighs and all these other guys do. But it was a really highly functioning offense for a long time. Now, the passing game started to dwindle the last couple years. Obviously, they need to make a change. But the quarterback's threat to keep the ball, that gives you numbers. All you want in the run game is numbers to where they don't have an extra player. And you want angles.
42:33Jason Kelce:You want leverage. the quarterback being a threat to run the ball gives you that because you have added another player that can keep the ball whether it's a designed run or read and you you can't be predictable with any of it otherwise you're going to get assassinated this is a different center stuff though yeah this is a system this year and last year i really think this is all also one of the reasons they were one of the best running teams the nfl because they had one of the best offensive lines like the offensive line was very healthy for a long time we had a lot of continuity Last year, Landon Dickerson's hurt all over the place.
43:05Jason Kelce:Cam Juergens is hurt. Lane Johnson misses a bunch of games. It's really hard to be a great running team when you have guys in and out of the lineup. You have backups playing. It's difficult, no matter who the running back is and what the situation is. And then you compile that with Jalen Hurts not running the ball as much. So then teams aren't feeling as threatened in that category. So you're not getting the same advantageous looks. All of that is what happened last year. This year, they're going to a different system. Now, there were more shotgun runs this last week. There was more of like the, you know, one by three.
43:39Jason Kelce:You know, you got the bubble screen over here and the read like RPOs. Yeah, it was. They had a little bit more of that in this last week, it looked like. But in general, the offense is going to be more under center. It's more of the Sean McVay, Matt LaFleur, that whole tree. And the way they get numbers and angles is by utilizing formations, by utilizing boots. And you gain numbers with motions and shifting guys around and improving angles that way. So it's just a different way to do it. They're still working on it. And they're having the same thing happen that happened last year. Landon Dickerson was hurt the first game of the year.
44:19Jason Kelce:It didn't go well up front that game. Now, and I really do feel bad for Cam Juergens. Cam has been playing center for the last two years. He played right guard my last year in 2023. Now all of a sudden he's going to go play left guard against probably, if not the best, one of the top two. Jeffrey Simmons, that dude is a beast. He is a fucking beast. You see that man walk onto a football field in his uniform, bro. You're just like, God damn, what the fuck are we about to get into today? And not only is he a beast, He's a very bad matchup for a guy that stature-wise really isn't a guard. And that's kind of what the Eagles have, unfortunately, in their depth right now.
45:03Jason Kelce:Landon's not in there. They don't have another 340-pound man to plug in there and to be a style. Give me a hog. Yeah. Give me a hog. Your options are either slide Cam Juergens over. You put Drew Kendall in at guard, which they obviously elected to do. Drew at center because Cam had played guard at a high level. Or you put Willie Lampkin in. And Willie is very stout, but that is another wild card. It's really not the best case scenario. Like they don't have a true guard that has played a lot of snaps in the league. That is what you want in the stature of the position and measurables. And Jeffrey Simmons was wreaking havoc, man.
45:40Jason Kelce:He's a good player. I think that's a tough situation for Cam to be put in. You know, I thought Drew played pretty well, but everybody kind of had their turn. but yeah I think Cam having to go do that on the road against a premier player like that very tough situation to be put in he prevailed he prevailed the team prevailed I don't know listen baby he ain't out there alone I don't give a fuck yeah fuck that Simmons had his place what are you going to do Shaq's going to be in the paint we got to figure out a way to win all that being said the run game this year they're still getting used to the If you put on the tape, and maybe this is something we can dive into.
46:21Jason Kelce:Aaron, I know we talked about doing some teach tape. I'd love to dive into some of these runs and talk about what's going right, what's going wrong. I think that they're still getting used to the angles, how everything hits. It is a different offense. And every rep you get, you just get a little bit better and more dialed in in your aiming point, where the landmark is. On the outside zone, the guard needs to get on top of the three technique and keep pushing to that front side number. right if you go too far it's going to split the double team or get behind you if you go too light little then all of a sudden you're not displacing it enough or he's you're the ball's going to go outside you and he's going to be there to make the play yes there's so many little such small things that make a big deal in the run game working and another reason the run game is so hard just in general is that everybody's got to be on the same page and run and going in the same lane like listen you got randy moss and you got a good quarterback you're probably gonna have a pretty good passing game all right that bitch up to him there's no running game in the league that has one good offensive lineman and one good like they all got to be doing their shit and it's all got to be in sync and i think they're still getting used to that it's become compounded by having to slide cam out to a position that he hasn't played and wasn't comfortable this last week playing a player like Jeffrey Simmons, but I anticipate this to get better.
47:45Jason Kelce:I do. And I think that once the run, what's the most encouraging to me is that if Jalen is playing like this, the way he has the two first two weeks, that run game gets going. It's going to be a very fun offense to watch. Once that gets improved this season. Well, you guys got another all pro out of wideout might not be Randy Moss, but Smitty is a dog. Slim Reaper. Slim Reaper is a dog. He had 10 receptions for one 17 and a touchdown. The guy is just, he's so smooth, man, in his routes. And he can make every catch there is. It was good to see him get out there and get dirty a little bit. It's just good to see Jalen have a connection with a guy out there, knowing they lost an unbelievable player in the pass game.
48:29And it's good to see him go out there and find somebody, connect with somebody, and then still have success in the pass game, the way they've had these first two games. It was hot. You're talking about pouring water on cleats. It was hot, man. Everybody, the score squad was out there.
48:47Jason Kelce:The score squad was out, yeah. The score squad was out there, man. I forgot about the score squad, man. Oh, my gosh. That was a bang. That's taking it back to the first year, man. Look at this. What is this? I've never seen this. I talked to some of these guys. The turf was so hot, Trav. Listen, this is another reason. So do you know in Nashville what the turf is? is uh i mean it's field turf turf no they have a fucking so instead of the rubber pellets i don't know if it's changes changed since since i've last played there instead of the rubber pellets they're you they use cork oh nice does that heat up more than the rubber pellets i i have no idea yeah but i also think that's bogus but turf in general radiates heat more than fucking grass ever will i will say there were a number of guys that look like they were slipping in the game i I don't know if that has to do with the cork.
49:41Jason Kelce:Dude, when you get on that turf and it's hot and your feet start burning, that shit sucks. This is another reason I'm out on the turf, man. Fucking whatever. We don't need to get on turf. I was like on WIP or something like that earlier in the week. They're like, oh, do you think the heat's going to make a difference? I was like, ah, now everybody's playing the heat. And then in the fucking TV copy, they had like a thermometer and it said 157 degrees when you pointed it at the turf. I'm like, what the fuck? How is that even possible? You shouldn't be allowed to do that. You shouldn't be allowed to put players on a field that does that.
50:19Jason Kelce:I think Juergens said he switched cleats maybe like three times or something. That's crazy to me. That's so insane to me that that is allowed. You're allowed to put the product in a situation like that. NFL's got to fucking, they got to figure something out for shit like that. That's insane. We got to get some air-conditioned fields. Come on, guys. We can do it. Yeah, we got to get something. Like, I understand if the turf drains water, but how does it fucking handle heat? Somebody said in the comments on Twitter or something like that, that you put like aluminum foil or tin foil under the like insole, and somehow that deflects the heat down, which I thought was interesting.
51:00That doesn't make any fucking sense.
51:02Jason Kelce:No, it does make sense because it radiates the heat back downward. I'm telling you. What? It makes sense. Just got to think about. No, if you put a foil in the heat, it gets hotter. It deflects the heat because it's like a heat shield. No, no, no. It deflects the heat back down. It's not coming from the ground. Yes, it is. It's coming from the turf. No, it's coming from the sun. No, it's coming from the sun heating the surface on the floor, which is why the bottom of your shoe is hot. No, your shoe's hot because of the rubber, because of the pellets. I think that there is some legitimacy to this claim.
51:34knowing a little tip for hot turf put aluminum foil under your insert in your cleat i think it will deflect the heat uh a little tip for hot turf don't fucking put turf down on the fucking football field and it won't get hot enough to where you have to put aluminum fucking foil under in your fucking shoe this is so dumb this is so dumb tennessee is a fucking lovely place they get they get they kind of get four seasons but they kind of don't you could easily put grass down easily eagles head to chicago next week to face the uh maybe caleb williams and the bears Caleb was carted off
52:22Jason Kelce:I will bet every dollar I have that Caleb Williams doesn't play in this game dude there's no fucking way he got carted off with a hamstring injury there's no chance if he ripped it off the bone that's not a fun he didn't he wouldn't be week to week he'd be on IR if he ripped it off the bone I just think the only way like he was crying with the tolerance so the only way that happens is if you thought it was ripped off the bone on the field right because if it's ripped off the bone hamstring injuries like don't go on hamstring injuries like those things fucking suck and if you rip it off the bone that can be like a career altering injury don't have it yes fuck now if he has that kind of reaction that leads me to believe it was pretty fucking serious down there on the field and the fact that the mri I came back better than you would think.
53:16Jason Kelce:I still like playing with a hamstring that hurt that bad in the moment. Hammies don't usually heal up like that. And it's going to be a naggy one. I bet I would be shocked if he plays this week coming from Dr. Kills, Dr. Kills, the man who tore his hamstring and still finished the beer bowl. I was about to say, I got a grade two and kept playing beer pong, Caleb. Beer pong. Really active hamstring activity. I hate to see it, man. I hate to see it. Either way, it's going to be a tough test. Bears put up 50, what, nine the first week? Yeah, they ran the fuck out of the ball the first week. Correct.
53:54Jason Kelce:And both running backs and the offensive line, I believe, is still healthy. They're still going to be a very good team. Ben Johnson is one of the best schemers in the league. Big test for the Eagles Monday night. I can't wait because I get to go. Man, I get to get some of that Chicago food, too. Oh, my God. It's the best. Man. It's so good. I haven't been to Chicago in a while, man. It was great. Fuck. Food is so good. Man, fuck, I do love that city. I wish they still had the Disney Quest. I wish they did too, man. The Disney Quest at the ESPN Zone? ESPN Zone was fucking legendary. It made me love that city even more.
54:29Well, the Eagles bringing back Zach Ertz. You mentioned Dallas Goddard, unfortunately, is out for a little bit. But they get a dog back in the Eagles jersey, baby.
54:41Jason Kelce:Yeah, I'm sad for Dallas because Dallas is having a great year. He's having a fucking hell of a start. He's having a fucking hell of a start. I shouldn't say sad. He'll be fine. It sucks that he's going to be out. But listen, I'm always excited to see 86 in some midnight green. Come on now, baby. Especially if he breaks his record. What is it? Zach is just 11 receptions away from breaking Harold Carmichael's franchise career record for catches. Yeah, damn. Yeah, baby. I mean, listen, I think if anybody was going to break that record, I'd be happy that it was Zach. I do love Harold, though. One of my all-time faves.
55:13Jason Kelce:Harold, dude, Harold was a pro football Hall of Fame. Well, I guess he wasn't in the Hall of Fame when he used to do this. But he used to, when I first got to Philly, Harold would be spotting the ball. That guy just loves the ball, man. Dude, he'd be like catching the ball and be putting it down. And I just thought it was the coolest thing in the world. I'm out here at Harold Carmichael spotting the ball. Dude, one of the best dudes. Staying around the game, baby. One of the best guys of all time. Well, you got two of them. Zach, one of the best guys of all time. Friend of the show. Friend of the tight ends.
55:39Tight ends rule. You're looking to see Zach out there fucking ripping it here soon in the Eagles jersey. Let's go. Well, let's get to the rest of week two.
55:46Jason Kelce:All right, week two in the books. We're a little premature. Week one, talking about offenses are back. Week two, scoring went back down. Way down. Chicago Bears, 59 points one week, three points the next, or whatever they ended up. Yeah, I mean, it's defenses caught on quick. And there's also been some crazy 0-2, 2-0 starts. The Raiders, 2-0. Chargers, 0-2. Kansas City Chiefs, how about that? 0-2 to start last season, 2-0 this year. The Vikings upsetting the Bears to be 2-0 with Carson Wentz. I've heard that guy before. How about it? Shout out to my man, Carson. They're letting it rip with the Vikes, man.
56:23I love it.
56:23Jason Kelce:Bengals might have officially found themselves a defensive line to really solidify the Bengals being back as a premier contender. Sexy Dexy. They look good, man. He might have been the most improved defensive signing this offseason and not some of the other big names. What else do we want to talk about? um aaron donald yep made his debut last night with the rams i saw him before the game and i was like man i am so happy i don't gotta block you right now this is great he was still jacked as fuck he looks every bit about it did he score no he didn't have he was he was playing well but he wasn't having like a lot of like impact plays don't get it twisted it looked like he still can go that's what i thought that was my takeaway well you were uh you were having some fun with the great one yeah baby normally at halftime we're kind of done and uh pat was like hey you want to go hang uh you want to go see gretzky i was like are you fucking kidding me do i i will never turn that down he really is the greatest man not only just not only on the skates man but he is just the fucking coolest man undoubtedly man and and we've said this before i only had two posters in my on my walls growing up in Cleveland Heights.
57:34One was a Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa poster
57:39Jason Kelce:that honored the year that they broke the home run record in the race. And the other one was that jersey right there. That's right. It wasn't that picture. The Rangers crew. A Rangers, Wayne Gretzky. I got a poster, which I don't know if that's the preferred Wayne Gretzky poster jersey, but that's what I had. So it's still surreal to me whenever I'm around him. Like, it's just like crazy. Yeah. Wayne, his wife, his son, Trevor. Shout out to Janet. Janet was telling the story about you guys golfing. Oh, man. You gotta love it, man. It's the only golf match I've ever won. By the way, probably the nicest box I've ever seen in my life.
58:16Jason Kelce:That suite was insane. Listen, SoFi is. They did a good job with that stage. SoFi, they figured some shit out over there. Yeah, it's got turf, but whatever. It's got a good... It's got turf. It's got a magnifying glass over the top, but it's outside. It's nice. Got the second piss missile from Tom Brady on a broadcast. Come again. Play a clip. Rifles want CD live. He's got a goodness. Absolute piss missile up inside. Did you feel like that was a piss missile? I don't think that's a piss missile. That's a great throw, but a piss missile to me is like... absolute piss missile up the sideline is that a piss missile to you it's a fucking it's a great throw it's an incredible throw it's an incredible throw but when i think a piss missile i think of like i can't even see the football i can't even see the football a piss missile to me is like almost like the moment i left the quarterback's hand it didn't it didn't go down or up at all It just like was a straight line.
59:18There's a little bit too much arc for this to me, but either way, incredible throw. To be honest, an absolute piss missile down the sideline is a great soundbite. Yeah, just saying. Who cares? It's fucking awesome.
59:28Jason Kelce:You deserve that kind of credit. Yeah, the throw definitely deserved a good hype, and you gave it that, so I'm with you. Iris Chatzky now has been defeated. Oh, no, Iris. That's right, Jets Jake. Jets Jake's beautiful, beautiful baby girl has been defeated by the green bay packers her undefeated victory record lasted longer than most expected but it still only lasts one week um um look at this pit this is a great tweet this guy's i mean this is what he does this is what this is what he gets paid to do he's he's an expert this is emily this is emily it's not jake Oh, oh, M. By the way, everybody, Jake, Jake is back.
1:00:11Jason Kelce:Welcome back to the show, Jake. Hi, I'm back. All righty. How was, how was paternity leave? Paternity leave was unbelievable, Jason. Thank you both so much for advocating for it, for never making me feel like I was missing out on anything. That's what kind of show we are, Jake. That's what kind of people we are. We would never do that. No. Being so publicly supportive of the paternity leave process, it was great. I should say you guys have been awesome this entire time. And the entire company has been really awesome. It's been great getting to know my daughter. It looks like Iris has not been sleeping very much.
1:00:51Jason Kelce:Your eyes are about as closed as they can. Last night was a rough night. Yeah, yeah. Last night was a little, last two nights were rough nights, but it's been, we're honestly, we're adjusting to like me going back to work and the best way that I can continue to help Emily take care of our baby in the best way possible. But yeah, a couple of two, 3 a.m. nights, you know, we've all been through it. It's fine. Yes. Have you developed any strategies yet? No. um i mean uh the biggest thing is that early still early the uh the biggest thing we've discovered is that the like yoga ball that we got for emily during pregnancy you just bounce on that holding the baby that has worked like a charm but that does suck when it's like two in the morning and you're just fucking bouncing on a ball non-stop do you have a rocking chair do you have a rocking chair which has been great especially for the mornings uh but she doesn't like it as much as so got it yeah and like the second she does the thing where like the second you put her down she immediately starts crying even if she was asleep in your arms but so it's all it's all wonderful honestly i'd like i couldn't love it anymore all right i'm gonna put i'm gonna pose a challenge to you new dad hit me i need you to find a song that you play and no matter what anytime you play it she gets you can get her to stop crying so there's out there songs out there good there there have been a couple like there have been a couple that have worked so far the funniest one by far she does like you know she does a baby reflex with her hands where she'll like start punching uh and i could not get her to calm down one night so i played beat that beat up by dj paulie d instantly like catatonic it's crazy apparently she's not a party girl but uh Beat that beat up.
1:02:47Worked wonders.
1:02:48Jason Kelce:Perfectly. That's hilarious. That's been in the go-to for it. Keep it in the rotation now. That's too funny. All right. That's awesome. Happy to be back, even if the Jets absolutely choked last week. Just like punching yourselves in your own dick. That type of loss. Not explaining that to her yet. Well, yeah, she won't get that. She might never get that one. I hope not. anyways thanks for having me back love you Jake good luck to Iris and the Jets as they take on the Lions and that does it for bold topics brought to you by Allstate you're in good hands with Allstate let's get to some Stamps of the Week Jason Stamps of the Week is brought to you by NFL Sunday take it on YouTube TV and I'm not going to lie Jason you and Kylie are absolutely electric in the YouTube TV commercial they're not playing it as much as I thought I thought they were only going to play like once or twice every time they went to a commercial, but they're actually playing it three times.
1:03:50Yes. Every commercial, which is pretty cool. And to see you do a was it a pirouette with a little walk and chips? Yes. Good shit. Sean McVay, maybe maybe for a great postgame quote. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you learn. and sometimes you have a dumbass coach that makes travel plans that puts you in a bad spot. That's hilarious. He's a good man. He's a good man for making light of the situation.
1:04:17Jason Kelce:Yeah, I mean, whether it was a thing or not, it's fun to – I think it's always important for leaders to take ownership and accountability, and even if that – who knows if that was the reason, but I think that players see that. You know what I mean? I think it's good. Who are you thinking? You got any good ones? I mean, I like the hot diggity dog from Isaiah Rogers, I'm not going to lie. You know what the hot diggity dog is? Nah. Yeah, that's how you can tell you're not in that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse quite yet, Trev. So the hot diggity dog is a song they play right before Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
1:04:50Jason Kelce:Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog.
1:04:56Jason Kelce:Hot dog,
1:05:01Jason Kelce:hot dog, hot diggity dog. So Isaiah Rogers gets a little recovery here and starts hitting the hot diggity dog. He said, told my son I'd do it for him. Nice. That's good shit. That's my kind of celebration right there. That's a banger. All right, Trav, where are you going? I'll give my stamp of the week to Cleveland, baby. Shout out to the Browns for getting a dub, but more so shout out to the guards. Taking the division right now. We're up a game over the White Sox, trying to get my guys to get that first place in the division, which will also get them a buy in the first round of the playoffs.

1:09:49Jason Kelce:And now their upcoming Apple Original Series Brothers. 92 % please welcome Mr. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. Let's go. There we go. Come on, baby. Come on. Take this intro on the road, man. You can't beat that intro. One more time. I hear you that one, man. How are we doing, guys? Good, man. We just got together here in New York. I mean, geez, we spent months together. We hadn't seen each other in what? About a month and a half? About a month and a half. What's it? Two months and a half. So now we're going to go out with brothers and talk about it, share it, and declare it, and see hopefully people dig it and talk to people like yourselves.
1:10:29Jason Kelce:Let's talk about the show. What are we in store for? What's going on with brothers? Starting off with the inception? Yeah, well, the original concept was like, well, okay, I'll tell you what happened was in reality. we were in Greece about nine years ago and Matthew's mom Momak, we call her she's about four Kendall Jacksons in, four Kendall's and I might have slipped her little Herbie-Werbies she took the walk with Lloyd earlier which wasn't the fourth time they've done that yeah, the very first time we set off a fire room My mom and him have been kicked out of two different clubs. My mom's 94.
1:11:17It's true. It's true. But anyway, she says, you know, I mentioned my father, and she goes, I knew your father. Now, that's only four words, right? But think about this. That elliptic is loaded. I knew. It's more than three dots. It's like five dots. We had six-year-olds there that they even knew that that innuendo meant they shagged.
1:11:54Then we're like, oh, and I'm like, oh, what do you mean, mom? What do you start? Bullshit. Woody's like, oh, I knew it. I knew it. Our kids already, my kids already called him uncle. Woody thought we related. His kids had always called me Uncle Matthew, thought we were related. And then off they went to play detective and investigate. And they found pictures. And then they found out this timeline that actually when him, when if my mom shagged with his dad, it would have been at this. So it said date, right? Which tracked back to, it was in the middle of my mom and dad's second divorce.
1:12:28Jason Kelce:They were married three to each other. Yeah. So the timing adds up. Yeah. So when Matthew went, she told me this a long time before Mom Act shared this with us. He had told me that when she was going to the hospital to give birth to him, she says, come on, Jim, let's go. I'm going to give birth. He goes, I'm not going. That ain't my son. You know, that ain't my kid. He said that and he goes, you got it from here. I got one rule this day. If it's a boy, don't name him Kelly.
1:13:07that's his instructions as she was in labor and uh and so she the reason he said that ain't my kid is because he knew that math wasn't math and yeah yeah and and so from the time i've known him which has been a long time you know i i always felt like god damn i do that kind of thing you I say something like this. There's all these parallels like you guys have with each other. And I'm like, holy, it's so weird. So when she said this, it just eureka moment. It made sense. And I've got definite confirmation that they were bumping up.
1:13:54He's so excited about this being true. He's like, oh, it's great, man. We're going to be brothers. I'm like, you're as excited as me. I'm like, it's easy for you, man. You'd gain a brother. You're asking me to like disown who I thought my father was for 55 years. That's a little tough for me. You know how you find family members in life? Like this person's like more your family than your own family sometimes. Well, you know, that's true of us, but it's also could be true of your father. he's more
1:14:33you and I are actually it makes perfect sense to him it's so easy it's a net game for you dude you get another father you've never met who spent a little time and then you got like three new brothers you know like it's not so bad it's a net game yeah that's a bad side fool kind of guy bullshit That's great. How did you guys find out?
1:15:01Jason Kelce:We're still skeptical. We're still skeptical. Very skeptical. Still trying to figure out, you know, how a big bear looking guy like this comes out. And it's definitely nothing as complicated as what you guys just described right there, man. We did find out that Travis was named after the local milkman. But I don't know. The milkman! Yes! No! Oh, UK started coming by a little more often in those hot, summer days when the milk had curled. The first stories were that Travis was named after the kid in Overboard. There was a kid, Travis, and that's what we knew up thinking. And then mom let the cat out of the bag that actually was this other guy that she thought was really attractive.
1:15:43Jason Kelce:And I'm like, okay, maybe there's a chance. Maybe this is. It all unfolds later in life. It all unfolds. Uncle Gary. You know, the main thing is the mom. You know, you got a common mom. You know that. That's right. We got that. We got that. We got a common dad.
1:16:03Goddamn, I can't wait to watch this thing, man. So you guys thought of this nine years ago and it slowly started to piece itself together? Let the kids go on their investigation trail and it became, you believed it from the get-go. Then parts of the family started to believe it. And then it was like, well, it's two DNA tests. I was like, bullshit, this ain't true. We ain't doing a DNA test for no reason to do that. And as we started to just sit there and other people started to believe it, we were like, well, whatever. DNA test or not, find out or not, let's do a show on this possibility. And so then that's when we started.
1:16:39We got together, found somebody that said, yeah, we'll do that show with you. Got our families together. Started off thinking it was going to be my real family and his family together. Just actually doing it. Everyone playing themselves. And we probably got a little smarter, I think, and said, no, let's catch. it let's get some professional actors in there yeah yeah we'd still be shooting we'd still be shooting that some of the business yeah yeah we were gonna just improvise you know like kind of like they do with curb where you know like they have really intricate outlines of the plot but they improvise all that so uh that we were thinking about that but then uh yeah luckily we thought, no, better get a script going.
1:17:22Yeah. Loosely based on our lives, who we are. We kind of exaggerated a few things, you know, turned up the, turned some things up a notch for comedy's sake and no one made it. That's what we got.
1:17:32Jason Kelce:For sure. Yeah, that was one of my questions. How fictional are the fictional versions of yourselves, I guess? You say, man. I mean, look, we got the same amount of kids. They're the same, similar age. Mom-I is, Holland Taylor's a great mom-I. Well, boy, she's a great mom. We just turned up the, I'm not Mr. We exaggerated ourselves a little bit. You're not Mr. what? Well, like in the show, I guess it's like I'm Mr. Order, Mr. Ambition. You got these things going on. Got my life all dialed in. Yeah. Stay out. Don't mess it up. That's not. To a good extent it is. And you're Captain Chaos, who's never come through a front door in his life.
1:18:12Who, if you are going to go to the Oscars, you best bring a swimsuit anyway.
1:18:19and who has no context of time or space and doesn't give a damn about if it doesn't know if it's Monday, Sunday, July, December, or don't even have to follow a Christian calendar what year it is. What millennium is it? Who cares? That's him. And that's hardly exaggerated. So solidly based with a couple of little oomps here and there. I'll tell you what, man, I don't know if you guys have just been on set with each other too much or you guys do feel like brothers. Yes. Just sitting here. and having seen you guys. And you said your families are close. And Matthew, I believe you posted this picture on Instagram telling him happy birthday.
1:18:57You guys go way back. Like, when did you guys first meet? Go ahead. He thinks we met before we actually met. That's where we met, right there. With Ed TV. He thinks we met on Ed TV. But actually, we met, I don't know how much earlier, maybe a year earlier, and it was, I don't know, Around 95 or 96 or something. And he was probably later, probably 97 or something. But anyway, we were both at this thing at CAA at the time. We were both at CAA, and they were doing some kind of event. And I walked up to them, and I said, how are you doing? Okay, so Time to Kill had come out. Probably, yeah. What year was that?
1:19:42Yeah. Yeah. So I came over and I said, Hey, you know, would you like to do a shot? And he's like, it's like one o 'clock in the afternoon. He says, well, you know, I got kind of got a lot to do today. I said, well, one shot, one shot ain't going to stop you from doing it.
1:20:01So we, we did a shot and, uh, and he don't remember any of that, by the way. So you didn't get a lot done. He basically did a shot with strangers. Or I did incredibly well what I did. But I had a lot of rhythm at least. I don't remember. So what I remember though is meeting, when I had TV where I met a wardrobe fitting in San Francisco, second story, wooden floors, and windows are open. It was a beautiful day. And Woody's supposed to come in after me. And I don't see him first, but I hear something out the window. And I hear this heavy metal hitting this concrete like someone walking. look out the window here's a guy in a full-on tour de france biking suit with his real bike and shoes clip-ons but he's walking he's not riding the bike so he's walking up a hill making a kind of noise next thing you know he comes in walks the stairs the wooden stairs and then steps into this beautiful mahogany wooden floor wearing those things just crease the floor right all the way in i remember the casting director going so i want to go over your wardrobe and he goes you're looking at my wardrobe this is what i wear and she goes but you're not riding a bike and he goes it doesn't matter this is what i wear i like this guy i like this guy we had the best time i gotta say we we we really had a great time but then uh did we shoot part of that in LA too.
1:21:30I can't remember. But anyway, we were in LA and this is the night we really bonded. I was over at his house and it was right on Mohawk. And we were playing ping pong. And eventually it didn't matter about the net and it didn't even matter about the table. The whole concept was you had to get the ball before it stopped. If the ball stops, you lose the point. You lose the point. So you can't let the ball stop. So the ball could be rolling down the driveway on the mall hall and be running down the ground, get that ball, and skip it back the other direction. We were freaking bloody two hours later.
1:22:16And I don't think the ball ever stops in that two hours. Now, let me give you a little extra thing about it. What do you got a few little things he's extreme about? All right. like like raid or Lysol or air conditioning. Don't you turn on the AC now. I'm free on patrol. All right. We're sitting out there. He stays at my house one night on that same house in Mohan. It's the end of the day, man. It's been a great day. We played that ping pong hat part at Exceller. It's about 2.30 in the morning. We're sitting outside on a wooden picnic table. Like full moon up there, man, sitting down there passing one back and forth.
1:22:52And I was like, dude, all right, man, I'm tired. I'm going to go on inside and call tonight. And I'm like, you got that extra bedroom. You want to come in? You're welcome to sleep in it. Woody's like, no, man, I'm going to stay out here and sleep. Bare bones it. That was the line. I'm going to bare bones it. Bare bones it. The nature boy. I'm going to bare bones it. I come in. I'm getting in bed about 10 minutes later. I hear the back door open. little mosquitoes got to Mr. Bare Bones and had to come on in. I hear him go in the gas room to the side and as soon as he gets in there and I hear him settle into bed I go and flick that AC on where it kicks in.
1:23:35You hear the AC kick on the house. All of a sudden, hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! He comes up and says, I thought you were going to bare bones. Yeah. So he'll stick to like, you know, heavy duty. I'll fall on the sword for this. Unless there's a mosquito. Yeah. Then he's going to come on in. You guys, I mean, how much do you like mosquitoes? Is there any part of them that you use?
1:24:06Jason Kelce:Mosquitoes, flies, anything biting me? I got a question for you, everybody here. What's the worst alarm clock you've ever woke up to? meaning one is mosquitoes as a horrible alarm clock when you get bit by mosquitoes. Right. Yeah. Second one would be the smell of your dog and diarrhea on the floor. Right. And the thing is when you get, if it hits your nose and wakes you up, the worst part is you can't pass it up and say like, I'll let someone go get up tomorrow. You gotta go do it. And it's going to take about an hour and a half to do it. Right. It's a horrible, horrible alarm clock. Worst alarm clock you got.
1:24:47Anybody.
1:24:48Jason Kelce:I mean, that the dog one probably takes the cake. Babies are a necessity, a necessary alarm clock. One time I was sleeping outside and I was being a dummy. I set this fire up and it was so warm and toasty. And I said, I'll just fall asleep right here. This is in the middle of February in Philadelphia. you well like a dumbass the the fire goes out and i wake up and i am shivering like cold beyond anything i'd ever seen before that was a pretty awful alarm clock that was one where it's like you know jason you almost just killed yourself being a dumbass let's go back in the house now
1:25:31mine is probably uh the sun waking me up uh at like its peak and i know oh, I got shit. I was supposed to be. Oh, a high noon alarm clock. I'm going to have to bulldog through the rest of this afternoon. Yeah, I just fucking, I've been tardy.
1:25:50Jason Kelce:And Trav, you're talking about one thing that I'm excited to see with this film. Like, there's something about, like, in football, we consider ourselves like brothers, right? You get so close with other men where you're around them all day. You have similar interests. You're all bonding over football that they become just like family. And I think that's something that's amazing with obviously your two's relationship and what you guys have created here is like, it's very relatable to a lot of people in lives. And like you end up, the brothers you choose end up being some of the closest ones you have.
1:26:22Jason Kelce:So, you know, anything about, is there anything you guys want people to take away from this series? I think that is one of the things. You know, people, I didn't know this, man, but people have seen it, have said that, that, oh man, what says such cool stuff about having a great friend, about male relationships, about male friendship and how you can love one another and stick up for you. You're like, hey man, we got this, whatever. I didn't know that that was. A lot of people were running on reserve, you know, fuel tank with understanding that because it is such a cool thing to have with your real brother, with your great friends, whatever.
1:27:00Whatever that fraternity that men can have with each other is something, man, we don't ever want to go light on that. And look, our working deal, we go similar to y 'all, get together for three to four months, 13 hours a day, six days a week. That's it. You know, you get up in the morning. If you're lucky, you say goodbye to your kids on the way out the door. and if you're lucky you come home say hi to their mama and then get to you know have a dinner and check in with them about the day but then you're up the next day doing it and that is your world the rest of the world there's no room for anything else to come into it so it's a bam you're in it and then all of a sudden the it the last day it's like the circus picks up its tension goes away and woody's one of the guys and i can count them all in one hand or not even use all my fingers that since we met and worked together in what 98 that we've remained great friends and and and stayed in sometimes we've had times we've been been away from each other for over a year but you know it is with a good buddy man you pick right back up and in 30 seconds you're rolling again with what's happening you know what i mean we've been through uh we've definitely put years on our life from the laughter we've given each other we've also shed a few damn tears about some tough life stuff going on at the time that we didn't have anybody else to share it in.
1:28:21We needed to share it with each other, you know? So yeah, I mean, I'm lucky to have him as a buddy. And like I said, I can count those friends that I've met in the industry that I've stayed that close with on one hand and not even use all the fingers that I'm lucky to have that friend in Woody, man.
1:28:35Jason Kelce:Yeah, baby. There we go. Come on, Woody. My brother. Come on, Woody. I love it. My dog. come on that's right i like that my dog that was beautiful man we um we want to get into this last segment before we get you guys out of here and uh we always end the segments with we gotta ask so we're gonna hit you guys with some rapid fire questions um one one by one here and uh here's some some good answers out of them what are the first ones for you brother uh better basketball player in white man can't jump or bowler in kingpin oh basketball i was not much of a bowler that's a real hard sport for me uh bowling but i bet sometimes i get lucky like one time i actually bowled a 199 imagine the last frame all i needed to do is get more than like three and i got three you know yeah yeah yeah he's a sneaky athlete he's ambidextrous now you ought to see him on tennis court okay forehand there we go backhand hang on a sec left-handed backhand yeah oh my gosh whoa he's got a good left foot and a good left hand dribble on the court too he's not even left-handed oh this guy's that's important on the basketball court for sure boy he's a hell of a tennis player this guy anyway all right next question matthew this one's for you will you ever get tired of people coming up to you and saying all right all right all right oh no let me tell you why check this out i'm in 1992 austin texas i go in the right bar at the right time introduce myself to a producer we get started having drinks four hours later we kicked out of that bar because we're getting too rowdy riding the cab home i'm getting dropped off of my apartment with him don phillips he goes hey you ever done any acting and i said man i was in a middle light commercial about that long i don't know if that counts because you might be right for this part come to this address and pick up this script tomorrow morning 9 30 it was about four hours from that time we were heading home, right?
1:30:35I get the script. There it is. There's three scenes in there. The part I go in on set that night wasn't even supposed to work. What do you have any scenes to act in? But the director asked me if I'd step in and improvise something. Pulling up Wooderson, pulling up in that scene. Didn't you say would Wooderson be interested in? Well, no, I'm in the scene and there's no lines. I got a mic on and I'm like, I'm a little nervous, man. I'm in my first scene in the movie. I've never said a word. I've never acted in a film before. I'm getting a little bit nervous. Let's go. And I'm like, who's my man about?
1:31:08Who's Wooderson? What does Wooderson love? I said, Wooderson loves his car. I said, ooh, well, I'm in my 70s Chevelle. There's one. I said, Wooderson loves to get high. I said, well, Slater's riding shotgun. He's always got a doobie rolled up. There's two. I said, Wooderson loves rock and roll. I said, man, I got Ted Nugent's Stranglehold cranking on the eight track. There's three. All of a sudden, I hear, action. And I look up, and I'm like, and Wooderson loves picking up chicks. And there she is. I got three out of four. Going to get the fourth. All right, all right, all right. First three words I ever said.
1:31:41First three words I ever said on film. What I'm saying, why I won't get tired of that. And I didn't know it was that time. It wasn't on film, it's just his voice. It's just a wide shot of a car pulling around. But I didn't know that night if acting was going to be something. If that night I worked was going to be something for the rest of my life, I'd tell my kids, hey, there was this one summer in Austin. I got to work this night on a film. It was a little hot. and turned out to be a career I love. So introduced with those three words makes everything a little cooler to head into. You got to do that forever.
1:32:07The first three words I ever said and what I thought might be a hobby turned out to be a career.
1:32:11Jason Kelce:There we go. How about it, man? That fucking story is meant to. All right, all right, all right. Hell yeah. All right, all right, all right. Yeah, man. Yeah. Come on out to the AIR stream. I'm going to make the best money. Winning down. Spell it out. This side of the R-I-O. Winning down. Matthew, you were on the sideline for the Texas National Championship win at the Rose Bowl. Is this the greatest sporting event you've ever been to? What's what if not? What is? No, that is. People ask me all the time, what's the greatest sports movie? I'm like that night. You couldn't have written that drama.
1:32:43And people believed it. And what the ebbs and the flows of what happened and how it happened. And I mean, no, one of those no excuses games, nothing ended up in that controversial. nothing ended up in the ref's hands it was you know i mean it was just it was two teams playing at peak and then we happened to have you know a guy who played like superman at that time and vince young who just come on now did that thing he had a little bit of that thing that deon used could do you know when you're like okay people almost couldn't make the move on him and he could he could run he'd run certain kicks back you're like man you had it and like no he didn't and he Vince had a little bit of that in that game.
1:33:21Just the ebbs and flows, the fact, I mean, going into it that we weren't given a chance. The dynasty of USC was already talked about being complete. This is third year. This is going to happen. It's already been written. And if you listen back to that game, which I've listened to, I think Dan Fouts and somebody else. Oh, Nelly. Oh, Nelly. It was Dan Fouts and what's his name? Oh, Nelly. Anyway, it's not until like four minutes to go in the game where either one of them kind of go, Texas has a chance here. It was just really like, USC's got it. And then, you know, let me ask you about this intangibles, right?
1:33:57Intangibles, which I think are really interesting to come up with. Vince did something. And you tell me if you understand what I'm talking about here and share some stories of intangibles you all may have or that you know. He did something in the third quarter. It was late in the third quarter. We're down by like, I don't know, 14 or something like that. We're driving. We're on there 30, 35. They call it one of those television timeouts. national championship game those television times are long oh yeah you know they take a while so back at the other at the other end of the stadium they bring out three usc alumni older men and to sit there recognize for your service and so on so vince looks down there takes his helmet off runs down the field shakes each one of their hand and induces himself and is talking to him when the ref blows the whistle like hey let's get back and play he's like oh yeah runs back up and me i was sitting there looking at that me and my buddy link later we're going like we're gonna win this game did you see that that's how present this dude is that's how yeah you know what i mean do you see some intangibles that you see somebody do then you're like guys are on another level right now they're the they're that joe montana story of looking up hey it's john candy in the huddle you know i'm a super bowl drive you're like how do you what that's how do you have the poise to be there you got any intangible stories of people or things you've seen jason's got a few vince young stories up i was about to say that does not surprise me
1:35:20Jason Kelce:one bit about vince i was with vince for a year in philadelphia and one of my favorite teammates we ever had like he had that a build i mean had a lot of shortcomings like i love vince but one of his superpowers was making you feel like you were just playing backyard football again so like you'd say in that story where like he's not going to let the moment get the best of him i don't think i ever saw vince rattled now there were some times he might have should have been rattled yeah yeah i think that that's one of the things that it works to your strength in certain moments and i could see on a stage like that the biggest thing you're trying to do in the biggest moments is not let the moment all of a sudden make you be somebody you're not and something like that with Vince's personality I can see working really well and obviously it did um it's the same thing I mean and I see it a little bit with Jalen Hurts I think he gets criticized a lot uh but he has that same ability where the highs never get too high and the lows never get too low he's so consistent and that works to his advantage majorly in big moments sometimes when things aren't going well you want him to be all of a sudden be somebody else you want him to be a hey come on guys let's go do that we need to get this going but that's but what i'm trying to say is like that doesn't you want that in the times where you need it but you you tend to forget when the times are really good that he this personality is a strength of his as well let me ask you this when did where were you when you had your first daughter in your career uh i was in 20 oh man 2019 so i would have been in my trying to think of what season that would have been ninth season in the NFL.
1:37:08Did you, because you have a man as a first child. Yes. It never is a man more masculine. Never is the head more aligned with the heart, with the loins and the spirit. I mean, I found that on the first child that all my hunches, I should have quadrupled down on them. I tripled down on some, I should have quadded down on them, dude. whether it was people relationships career choices investments whatever i was just like bam they're all aligned and i always think that that's a great one of the best times to bet on a man is have to have their first child for the next i don't know six months a year how was your
1:37:46Jason Kelce:season i think after that moment it all was trying to think of a way to say this um a lot of life gets put into perspective when you have a child and priorities get set straight but also responsibilities and i think that that's a huge turning point for me and my career as my place in the team as well and i don't know if they you know overlapped just at the right time or if something really did manufacture and like the way that i viewed myself around all these other guys but that season definitely was a season where all of a sudden i started taking further steps into being like that older statesman kind of leader within the room and stuff like that.
1:38:27Jason Kelce:Yeah. It was an amazing time for, yeah, for a man at first shot. You remember what you, your years, your life, your career, choices you made, relationships you made after. Yeah, 93. In Cheers, there were, between the cast and crew, there were 50 babies and Denny, our daughter, was number 50. It was quite a time because we were wrapping up Cheers and I'd written a play. I was trying to direct it. And, you know, I'd done this movie, Indecent Proposal, and it was just coming out. And then I was prepping to do Natural Born Killers. And, I mean, just so much shit going on. And then to not sleep was wild because, you know, how the sleep thing goes.
1:39:17It was kind of chaotic, but it was pretty great. You know, just that pure love you get from the kid. It's amazing. I think my career got better once I had kids. Yeah? Yeah. Because I think I was in that perspective thing that you were talking about, Jason. I mean, when all of a sudden performing and acting wasn't number one, you know what I mean? And you got dependents that, oh, no, if you ain't there, they don't make it. So that's the job. It's not just you. When acting came down out of the number one spot, I didn't lose any respect. I actually got better at it because I had something else that was more personal in the number one slot.
1:40:03Do you think you've made enough money now that you can provide for your family or do you got to keep it? I break a sweat every day. I ain't down. I'm going perpetual, man. Come on. Mr. Sequel Trilogy over here. I'm trying to catch up with him. These guys are trying to, they want to get back to their lives. So how do we wrap it up? One last question, guys. Perfect segue. Welcome to Hollywood moment for each of you guys. We always end up asking everybody where it started and it kind of shocked them that they were doing what they were doing or just a moment that hit you early on? I got invited by Carrie Fisher.
1:40:48Carrie Fisher, brother. Yeah, Carrie Fisher, you know, yeah. And she got invited to this party. And I'm walking up from the driveway up this, you know, big lawn. And out on the lawn comes Jack Nicholson by himself. And he didn't know anyone's watching. and he comes out on the line and he goes, I am so fucked up. And I was like, oh my God, I am in Hollywood. How about that? Yeah, you're great. You have to make it. I'm going to tell you about my entrance to Hollywood. So I graduate college and driving out there pulling a little U-Haul behind my truck and I got a couple thousand bucks but I got the trip planned man I know that soon as I get to Sunset Boulevard I'm gonna put in the doors LA woman and I'm gonna rock it for my entrance right because I'm coming out here first time so I'm driving and it's about a 24 hour drive anyway and at hour 21 I was going through like Indio and I see this Sunset Drive exit I'm like oh shit man I'm making good time I don't feel alarming I put that CD in a seven minute song I think I had to play it 22 times in a row because Sunset Drive out of Indio is not Sunset Boulevard I still have another two hours to go I listened to it 22 times in a row until I finally got to Sunset Boulevard where I pulled in.
1:42:351038 on a Saturday night. Knocked on the door. My buddy Don Phillips, who's moved on. I can tell this story because I wrote it in my book. Knocked on his door after that 24-hour drive. Nobody answers. Finally, he goes, hey, what is it? I said, it's me, man. It's McConaughey. Because I'm sleeping on, the only guy I knew. I'm going to sleep on his couch. He goes, hey, I got this little chippy in there. You think you can give me about 20 minutes? I said, no, dude. Come on. I just joke. he walked back to the door and he it was facing north and I was like welcome to Hollywood he's mid sport man alright yeah come back and thank you Tom I'll be out there sitting in the car bud welcome to Hollywood

Bold topics. Chiefs are good. Chiefs are back. I've got the offense. I've got Travis. I've got your accolades. The reversed fumble. The field goal decision. Did you know they make noise canceling toilets now? See, this is where I'm off. just start the show i don't know what i'm even doing here this is great like a silencer
1:46:33Jason Kelce:pose man that's not real does it only work for flushing or does it also work for farts and does it silence everything i think the silence is everything how does the silence a fart does it like seal your your butt cheeks it's got a seal around you it like sucks in wavelengths sound waves travis this has got to be ai with a new noise canceling this is not real there's not real oh it says look it says it drops right before christmas it's no there's no fucking way this is real bose did not make a toilet maybe it's a collab they must not want to be a gazillionaire yeah we don't air this new heights makes a noise canceling toilet it goes on kelsey and everybody's happy let's make a noise canceling toilet i think that's a great idea it would have to suction to your butt uh-huh you just you have to you have to screw onto it like a silencer you gotta like you sit down and you have to like pump air out of the toilet so that it's suctioned your butt cheeks in there yep and then whatever noise comes out of it it's silenced would it not be easier to like instead of i feel like suctioning the toilet's risky oh it's all risky what if you built a little dome around it that's soundproof like like win ben stein's money room that's just a soundproof room well i think that's a little i feel i feel safer about that than i do my ass being that's way too logical and nobody's gonna buy you install on your wall we're trying to change the toilet game brandon you're not even in the fucking same wavelength you're talking about walls the real question is how do you silence a stand-up p how do you sound is that you have a detachable hose that's about angles that's about detachable hose goes in so that it doesn't splash and make noise when it hits the water grips you yes no more suction more suction doubles as a penis
1:48:43Jason Kelce:Jason's really going to the bathroom a lot he must be really hydrated listen in the middle of the night in the middle of night sometimes i'm a sit down wee guy because i don't want to turn the lights on and i don't want to risk missing missing the toilet if this thing has a detachable hose that i can suction on i feel really comfortable peeing standing up with that contraption i just want to clip jason going more suction i think you're right i think we're on to something doubles as a penis enlarger yeah two for one was that did they really sell that fucking thing like was that actual thing or was that just on austin powers no no no those are that's a real thing people were really fucking putting their dicks in tubes and suctioning them in the hopes that it made them bigger travis i'm pretty sure cavemen were tying strings to rocks all right for as long as there's been men they've been trying to make their dicks longer i don't think that this is like as long as dicks have existed there's been some dude trying to make get bigger i can guarantee you that that's hilarious
1:49:50they were working on the dick stuff before fire they were like tying rocks you know what tying rocks made me think of is fucking old school
1:49:57Jason Kelce:yeah exactly oh that's the best scene do you trust me do you trust me the ultimate trust fall i mean i don't want to keep going through the rundown i think we're fine I love you, but...
