In short

Week 1 NFL recap and debate—especially the Chiefs’ 31-10 win over the Broncos, the Eagles’ 24-22 home opener vs. the Commanders, and broader “offense is back” trends. They also discuss the Rams vs. 49ers Australia opener, travel/acclimation science, and rule/strategy topics (fullback motion, “banana motion,” and a Saints-related backward-pass call). They add sports-prop and tech sponsor segments (PrizePicks, Xfinity Shield, Expedia).

Guest backgrounds

Hosts are Travis Kelce and Jason Kelsey (former NFL players). No additional guests appear in the provided transcript.

Key claims

Chiefs offense was “reinvented” under Andy Reid (more under-center, tight ends, multiple tight-end looks) and Kansas City’s defense (Spags) created early disruption. Kenneth Walker’s debut was dominant (173 rushing yards, 2 TDs). Eagles’ Jalen Hurts looked strong despite run-game issues and offensive-line rhythm problems; offense should improve with reps. Week 1 scoring (10 teams 30+ points) suggests a real offensive trend, including more fullback usage.

Notable examples

Walker’s 23 carries/173 yards; Kelce tight end record chase (59-yard catch, whip route vs. cover zero); Eagles’ two-point conversion finish; 49ers beating the Rams in Australia; Tyler Owens’ special-teams tackle/return highlight; Chargers upset vs. expectations led by Jacoby Brissett.

1:14Jason Kelce:everybody's talking about the travel so let's bring it up why not I don't think that this was as much of an impact as everybody's making it to be there's always like somebody that comes up who's done like some scientific research there's always a scientific researcher who's done the sleep. Actually, your circadian rhythms don't get more affected if you've been there for 24 hours. What time of the year is it? You can find the science to say whatever the fuck you want to do. I kind of like sleeping in my bed. What's the science say? Let's send 12 guys out there before time. Let's send the staffers out there and see if they sleep better.

1:43Jason Kelce:Hey, Bill, what did you think of your sleep? Well, I actually slept better the first day than the third day. How'd your arthritis from playing 13 years in the NFL feel, Bill? Oh, turns out your fucking knees don't have any of that. I don't need a scientist to tell me that I feel better fucking being a week ahead of the game. I've traveled. I have traveled before. But the intern felt fine. Awesome. Jesus Christ.

2:13Welcome back to New Heist, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. A Wondry Show brought to you by Reese's. You've got to love that chocolate and peanut butter delight. How about it? 2:42Jason Kelce:We're in person and 92 % as we have a great show lined up for you. We're going to get to the Eagles win in Philadelphia. The Chiefs big win against the Broncos in Arrowhead. Come on. As well as everything else week one related in the NFL. Also, settle the debate on sports proposals. Who likes those? Not me. Anyways, let's get into some of that new news. New news is brought to you by American Express. We are in person because we have something special coming out later this week. And that is a very special episode that we had the privilege of doing with the one and only Tom Fucking Cruz. Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.

3:26That's what it felt like. Well, he made a scene a lot more.

3:29Jason Kelce:When I was going up to the suite halfway through, I'm like, dun, dun, dun. I know he's up there. Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun. Dude, it's the anthem in life, man. There's so many anthems around Tom. And yeah, you guys are going to want to tune in. We got it coming out this Friday because he has a new movie coming out, Digger. We get into all of that as well as the rest of the history of his cinematic career as well as he's just an incredible person. No, we were just shooting the shit with him. Yeah. That's the thing about Tom is you could just kind of hang with him and get some cool insight because he's so knowledgeable on everything.

4:03Jason Kelce:The fact that you call him Tom is crazy to me. What do you call him, Mr. Cruz? I feel like when somebody gets that famous, you just call the person Tom Cruz. I'm hanging out with Tom. Tom? Tom Cruz. You can't just call him Tom. This was what we had. We had to, like, break that habit of your daughters. I was going to already say this. I don't ever. When they got to meet Aunt Tay-Tay. Yeah. They were calling her Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift, can I do this? Taylor Swift. Yeah. Adorable. Either way, yeah. You can call her Taylor. You don't have to say. It was definitely Tom Cruise for the first two times, but then him coming to the game and us having a sit-down right here.

4:42I mean, that's my guy, Tom. Yeah. That's my guy. He's the man. You guys are going to love the sit-down with him.

4:48Jason Kelce:The sit-down was great. I mean, being in the suite last night in Arrowhead was great. We're going to get to a little more of that coming up in the show. I know. So let's finish off new news. All right, Jake, really milking this whole baby situation. Don't know if all you 92 %ers saw online. That baby's undefeated, man. It is technically an undefeated Jets baby for the first time in perhaps forever. We had some fans having some fun in the comments from at curmudgeon, dude, or actually at 20 means speed. This is sick. Can't wait for the kindergarten pick of her when the Jets win their next game.

5:24That ain't right. That ain't right. They didn't deserve that.

5:27Jason Kelce:I mean, I love that. I think it's accurate. Okay. We got another little photo here. Oh, this is just Jake holding his baby. Jake Chatsky. The New York Jets are undefeated in my daughter's lifetime. 1-0, baby. Okay. At JustChristM. JustChrist, yeah. JustChristM. Christ. All right. and haven't had an interception since before conception. That's a good rhyme. A little rhyme time. Like that, like that. Congratulations to Iris Chatzky for being undefeated. The first Jets undefeated baby in over a decade. Well done. You go, girl. We'll see how long it lasts. I'm guessing one week, but hang on to it for as long as you can.

6:08Good luck, Iris.

6:09Jason Kelce:Did the NFL tweet something about Jake's baby? That was the photo you looked at. They put that photo on ESPN NFL Instagram page. This photo was on ESPN's. ESPN NFL Instagram, yes. I don't know what he did. That a girl. Well done, Jake. You've hit it big. Yeah. It only took you having a daughter. And to call off work. Yeah. To be shown. To get more famous. Yeah. Somehow you're doing better not being here. Which is frustrating. You guys don't start to get creative on us now, all right? All right. And that does it for new news brought to you by American Express. Yeah, nah. Let's get to some bold topics brought to you by Xfinity.

6:47That's right.

6:48Jason Kelce:Let's get into the Chiefs game, Trav. Chiefs 31-10. Fire me up, man. All right, Monday night football could not have started better. You get an interception from your rookie defensive back, and then everybody's wondering what kind of version we're going to see. Pat Mahomes, and he let us know right away. I mean, that stadium was going insane. From the interception to Pat Mahomes scrambling in a touchdown. There's been some. Oh, it was definitely a questionable play. that's one of those where you get up slowly like please don't be any laundry on the field head man up by his neck can't do it yeah can't do it almost cost us and to be honest that would have been padma home's second rushing touchdown call back in two plays yeah he literally did the same thing the first one was a touchdown but either way it was him using his legs to yeah which uh and that would have like taken us out of the red zone yeah no that would have been a real That was risky business right there, boys.

7:44It would have been very bad. No, but you know what? Sometimes you're just living right.

7:47Jason Kelce:Either way, it was an awesome play, and it was a great tone setter for the game. So what are your initial thoughts? There were some other tone setters. What were the big takeaways for you? My initial thoughts were, you know, this has been brewing for a while. Yeah. And in the building, everybody knows what I'm talking about. From the start of the offseason into training camp, the mentality we've had to fix the things that we needed to fix, to clean up a lot of the small things, to really reinvent the culture of how we do things in Kansas City. We feel like we got a great team, and this team loves each other, man.

8:23And that's one of the biggest things, man. When you get a group of men that have one goal in mind and want to attack that goal every single day for the betterment of the guy next to them, it's a special feeling, man. And I just absolutely love this team. And you could tell how much we loved each other out there on that field last night. And damn, it was fun to be out there in Arrowhead, man. When Arrowhead's rocking like that on a Monday night, it's a feeling that I don't ever want to stop feeling. And that's what keeps me coming back and playing every single year. And that's what gets me excited throughout the work week.

9:04We got another big one coming up on a Sunday night this week, but that was a fun one, man. And to see Patty Mahomes go through what he went through in terms of rehab and saw the determination from him the second he had that surgery on just how he was going to attack this. When your leaders are doing that kind of stuff, man, you just fall in line and it's infectious. Yeah. It's an infectious thing. And I couldn't be more proud of him on how he came out and just was his, his, you know, old Texas gunslinger self out there, just having some fun playing football and, and lead us, leading us into victory.

9:41And then you can't say enough about what Kenneth Walker is and, and what he's going to be for this, this team and this organization and this city, man, he's one of the, he's one of those Kansas city guys. And you guys that in Kansas city that don't know him yet to the core of who that guy is, he's, he's an A1 person. And he's got great character. He's got great, you know, attention to detail. He has great integrity. And who he is is what you see on that field. And everybody loves playing with him, man. Even everybody in Seattle that I've talked to about him says the exact same things. And we're lucky to have him, man.

10:15But it was a complete showing. Our defense came out, got the interception early. Delane, unfortunately, got injured on that play. But at the same time, what an unbelievable way to start your career. One target, one interception. There you go. R. Mason, another young guy, got a sack. Defense was flying around. Spags was in his bag in terms of pulling out the blitzes and the coverages to have Bo Nix and that offense just not in sync. It was an all-around great game for us. We know all of them aren't going to be like that. It's the NFL now, but at the same time, for us to have an entire offseason and to come out week one and put it all together like that, man, it was a fun one.

10:58Jason Kelce:Yeah, well, speaking of putting it all together, the one guy that put it all together very well is Kenneth Walker. I think that was a big surprise, I think, to everybody. It was that debut. 23 carries, 173 rushing yards, 191 yards total, two touchdowns. He might have had over 100 yards after contact. Yeah, I'm pretty sure he did. That was – and Denver is one of the best defenses in the NFL. They have players across that entire front and the back end. Their linebackers are great. They're well coached by Vance Joseph. And they're typically in sync, man. They play well together. He was running through any little arm tackle, legitimate tackle.

11:35Jason Kelce:Like, I don't think I saw him brought down maybe one time by the first guy that touched him. I know. It was impressive. Hand the ball to nine. I've been saying that shit all summer, man. Well, and to Andy's credit, like, listen, this was a completely reinvented version of the Kansas City Chiefs week one. From what it has been, shotgun, RPO, spread, air attack, that's what it's been for pretty much the last seven years since Pat's been there. All of a sudden, under center, multiple tight ends. You guys are pulling people. And this was my big thing before the game. It's like, all right, yeah, Denver's good.

12:10Jason Kelce:Andy, when he has time to develop a game plan for a specific opponent, whether it's after a bye week or starting a season, there's going to be some things dialed up. And whether it's him, whether it's Biennium coming from things he learned with Ben Johnson. I thought the offense was very creative, very innovative. And that's the thing, you have to keep inventing things and being, you know, this is a league where you will get schemed up in a heartbeat if you're not reinventing how you're attacking, how you're playing the game. And Coach Reed knows that, man. And we got a special skill set right now on the offensive side that we can really exploit a lot of different, like, exploited defense in a lot of different ways.

12:51We have downfield speed. We have guys in the backfield that can run the game. Everybody was impressed by Kenneth Walker, but Emmitt Johnson came in there and had a bunch of really good plays. I think together, those two by themselves had over like 200 yards of, or 220, 230 yards of offense. It might've been 250. We got a great backfield. We got a great tight end room. We're grabbing our guy Tonga from the D-line to come in and play fullback, baby. Oh yeah, first fourth down. Come on now, baby. Come on, baby. On our side of the 50, we have pieces to attack defenses in unique ways, and we feel like we can really have a complete game plan because of the pieces that we got.

13:31Jason Kelce:We talked about that fourth down, Andy going for it on your own 50-yard line, on your side of the ball. Andy's aggressive, the defense with spags, they're blitzing. That was a – it felt like you guys were going out there to try and make a statement. And it was well executed on all fronts. I hear you on the statement. The game felt like a statement because we just wanted to go out there and win that game. You know what I mean? Like we were tentative. We played with a sense of urgency. And, you know, we played together. We played together. We got a rookie left tackle, and he played absolutely fucking outstanding.

14:05The offensive line played great and gave 1-5 an opportunity to get the ball in the playmaker's hands as well as getting downhill with the running game. If we can keep just, you know, looking out for each other, playing together and making plays when given, man. You know, it's going to be a fun year for this offense, man. I can feel it.

14:24Jason Kelce:Well, if there's one thing Andy does really well, it's getting athletic playmakers the ball in space and find ways to make creative opportunities for him. And he did that with Kenneth Walker. Kenneth Walker, last year the Chiefs only had one explosive run of more than 20 yards all season. Walker already has two in the first week. Damn. And not to mention he outgained the entire Broncos team. It's a good debut. Give nine the ball. Pat is also back, 15 for 27. It wasn't a crazy day for Pat Mahomes, but it didn't need to be. He did what he needed to do, that's for sure. 207 total yards, three touchdowns, including a rushing touchdown, trickeration touchdown.

15:04Jason Kelce:Yeah, I mean, we knew Andy was going to have some things dialed up. Pretty cool. Do you hear his response to what the play you're talking about, the touchdown to Kenneth was? is uh i think it was the 1930s chris berman uh sent it to him no it might not have been the 30s but either way chris berman sent him the clip of it and we watched it and in my mind it is so funny watching these old like black and white like yeah film of like uh this this like beginning stages of football is that a left heart pulling yeah everybody is the same size yeah it's just like there's no fat boys out there just everybody's like six foot 210 pounds and the the thing just absolutely opened up similar to how it did on this one i was just like man that'd be really sweet if i could come flying around there with no hold of gold yeah exactly nobody knew where the ball was well you broke another tight end record and this is not a bunge record it's not this is not a bunge record it's not a record so you're going into second place all time second place that's not a record well you broke you broke jason witten's record i will say this i fucking i grew up in an era where i saw guys like tony gonzalez shannon sharp shockey shockey um and then dallas clark dallas clark on my own now keep them coming baby so all the tight end so and there was a certain way that they played the game that you just love as a football player.

16:33They had the toughness. They had the savviness in the past game. And then on top of that, man, I had no idea that moving to tight end, I would find that much more love for the game. I get to do a whole lot more in terms of just being a football player at the tight end position. And when I moved to tight end, guys like Jason Witten were at the helm. Yeah. So I'm looking at who are the best in the world at doing this right now. Tony Gonzalez was there. Jason Witten was right there. Gronk was right there. Yeah. And I'm looking at these guys, and I'm like, man, how do I get to that level? Yeah. So to be in the same talks as these guys at this point in my career, Jason, it's an absolute honor to be in the same conversation as you, and I'll have to just play another five years to catch Tony.

17:26Jason Kelce:Well, yeah, you do have a ways to go to catch Tony. Tony G has the record at 15 ,127. Travis broke Witten's record of 13 ,046 yards and now has 13 ,067 yards. And you broke it on your biggest play of the day, a 59-yard catch in the third quarter. Walk us through the play. What happened? I mean, heavy blitz. Yeah, it was cover zero. Was it zero? I knew it was blitz. I think you're right. Somebody said it was zero on line, so I'm pretty sure you're right. Yeah, it was cover zero. Heavy inside leverage. I got a route where... Outbreaker? Yeah. And it's kind of like a fake inside come out. It's called a whip route.

18:05I can talk about it now because it's all over the internet. Yeah.

18:09Jason Kelce:When you go in there, you see it happening. Are you like, oh, this ball's coming to me? I'm already, yeah. I'm like, I got to quicken this up. Patty Mahone's going to be one, two, three, bang. Yes. At least that's what I'm hoping. Yeah. No, it was a play where you just got to be ready for the QB knowing that it's blitz. You know what I mean? It's like, you know... You know he's going to be hot. He's going to have to get the ball out of the same hand. He's going to have to get the ball out quick. And then on top of that, man-to-man coverage. When you catch the ball, you make one man miss. A lot of grass.

18:36We're going down the slip and slide. You were kind of like.

18:40Jason Kelce:You were like weaving. Yeah, yeah. What was going on there? I was bullshitting. I was just going to pick a side and run. I got the cavalry out in front of me. Taekwon was out there working to get a body. I know people are talking about a hold. I don't think that's a hold. He had to hemmed up the entire time. was driving his feet. Yeah. I don't want to hear none of that. They can talk about yours, but. Well, technically, I didn't grab anything. I just kind of hugged him. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I did text Troy when that happened, because Troy said on the broadcast, like, this is a hold by Kelsey. They missed this one.

19:13Jason Kelce:I was like, hands are inside. Hands are inside. He's like, he texted me like, yeah, no. Russell didn't think so. Our expert over here at ESPN called him out on it. You can always tell a lot about teams and how the guys start finding work when it's It's not their job, right? Like, they're just playing ball at that point. And that's got to be the MO, man. That's got to be the MO. I think I'm always working to be better at that as well as, you know, everybody on the Chiefs, man. But when you got guys fighting for, you know, your brother's extra gains and those extra first downs or those big plays, it's just fun, man.

19:49Yeah. It's a fun ride, man.

19:51Jason Kelce:Well, it was fun for the rookies. Rookies, we already talked about it, had a pretty good showing for the Chiefs. Mansour Delane at an interception in one play. Or two plays, I guess. It was the third play of the game? Third play. Third down, yeah. First play, throwing at him. One target, one interception, one shoulder injury. We'll see how he does next week. But hell of a start for him. Edge player, Armisen Thomas, got in on a sack early. Had a couple other pressures. Peter Woods got the pressure. Peter was in there, clogging up the middle in that run game, doing his thing, and then trying to get to the QB in the pass game.

20:22And listen, man, the D-line, we've got some young guys that can absolutely ball, man. And they built a lot of that confidence and a lot of that, you know, that passion in college. And to be able to step into a defense that likes Spags, where you're going to get opportunities to get those matchups that favor your skill set. You know, these guys are out there, you know, excited and getting after it, man.

20:49Jason Kelce:The other rookie that we already mentioned once was Khalil Benson, obviously starting playing a really good defensive line in general, but great player in Nick Benito. Held his own. Didn't allow a single pressure. Now, Chiefs are helping him out quite a bit, right? Got some chip help. But did some really good things in the run game. I like what the kid can do. Come on now, baby. Yeah, he had a good showing. Lil can play, man. Spags is the one thing that I wish, you know, there's a lot of new guys in place on defense. But we got to give some love to Spaggs for what he did throughout the game plan in blitzing, simulated pressures, mixing it up, keeping the Denver Broncos kind of on edge about what they were seeing.

21:28Jason Kelce:And, you know, coming into the game, how are all these young guys going to do? What's this defense going to look like? And it still looked pretty good. Flying around, baby. Yeah, man. Flying around, man. Spaggs has been in his bag for the last three years and picking up right where he left off, man. It was good to see from the defense for sure. You know it. And we're off to Sunday night football. We were playing a little Monday night football. Now we got a little Sunday night football. Indianapolis Colts, what are you thinking? Are you ready for some football? Shane Steichen. Yeah. Daniel Jones.

22:03I haven't peeked at him other than just watching that Ravens game last week. Know they're going to be hungry. you know it's a it's a team with a great defensive line I know that for a fact got some players yep Lou's you know had our number in a few games we played him man he's unbelievable I don't know how the hell he got out of Cincinnati but you know Indianapolis has a great coach in him and on top of that they got some great players on the back end obviously a friend of the show Sauce Gardner Cincinnati Bearcat shout out shout out and I think Danny Dimes is a good player man And it's obviously he showed a lot from last year.

22:41And we're definitely going to, you know, be in for it because everybody's going to get excited for a little Sunday night football, man.

22:46Jason Kelce:I mean, just look at the way the team dropped off when Danny got hurt. Right. They were rolling. They were looking really good in the AFC up until that moment. And then all of a sudden it was a tough inning. Phillip Rivers came in out of retirement, had a great show and loved watching that. But Danny being healthy, this team, this coach team is good. I know they didn't win week one because Baltimore looks like a super team right now. But, you know, they're going to be fired up coming into Arrowhead for this one for sure. Well, Trav, Andy called you old. That's just because everybody else is calling me old.

23:17Andy sees these glutes. It's all about the glutes. It's all about the glutes, baby. Keep them glutes fired.

23:24Jason Kelce:Andy Reid quoted as saying, Three for 71 yards are pretty good for an old man. I'll have to keep surprising them with my youthfulness. Yeah, yeah. How do you make somebody think you're younger than you are? What's the key to that? Dye your hair? I was going to say get a haircut, maybe. Dye your hair. I felt like after I got a haircut by old Patty Cuts this weekend that I went back in time. Maybe a pair. What do young kids wear now? What are all the young guys doing? All the young guys, what are they wearing? They're wearing the Marnie slippers. You see those Marnie slippers? It's like fur slippers.

24:00I think I know what you're talking about. Yeah, yeah. Everybody's wearing the fur slippers and the house shoes. I don't know how house shoes became so popular outside the house. It's pretty crazy.

24:09Jason Kelce:You start playing the game where you point your finger. Oh, shadow boxing? You are. You ready? I've never done it. I have no interest in doing it. I'm embracing my old man status. Have you played it? No. Dude, I have. Not that I'm. I'll watch it. It's entertaining. It is. It's actually kind of. It's crazy how in sync and how quick they play. If I was 10 years younger, I might be into this, but I'm not. So I'm not doing it. I missed the way. I missed the intro level of now. They're at such an expertise. This is happening too fast. Yeah. Yeah. It's a young man's game. Yeah, yeah. Thank you to our presenting partner, Reese's.

24:44Okay, consider this. Why are there so many assistants on NFL teams? Where are you going with this? Are they there to assist in coaching or assist in supplying Reese's?

24:55Jason Kelce:I think the answer is probably both. Nobody's tracking what they're carrying around. I mean, we know they have clipboards. We know they have headsets. I've seen coaches carry around snacks for some of their superior coaches, and it's undoubted that Reese's is probably among some of the more popular. All I'm saying is a timeout is 30 seconds. That's plenty of time to snack on your favorite king-size candy bar. 30 seconds for a king-size bar? That's easy. Look, pay close attention this season, and you may realize everything happens for Reese's. All right, thanks to our partner, Xfinity. football's back and when your defense is locked in you don't even have to think about it you just play yeah that feeling that everything's handled so you can just focus on the game that's what this season's all about defense you can trust isn't just important on the field it's also important in your home family and connected life that's xfinity shield a defensive line for your home and devices come on in brandon hey don't be shy you know we travel a lot for work we do we do we do i'm always out there in kansas city or in philadelphia and i don't have anything set up to keep tabs my home while i'm gone i'm not really much of a big old cameras everywhere kind of guy but i'd still love some kind of way to know what's going on without having to watch a live feed you guys you guys know anything like that uh yeah well we actually we just happen to be in the middle of speaking about it.

26:24Jason Kelce:Yeah. What? Oh, well, go ahead. Yeah, there's a there's the thing, Wi-Fi motion that's built into your Xfinity gateway. 27:01Get it now at Xfinity.com slash shield. Thank you to our partner, Expedia. So when you're planning a trip on Expedia, do you have it totally planned out? Come on.

27:15Jason Kelce:who knows really what they're doing week to week well nobody knows that's a great point no shame in that Expedia lets you keep it open start with a flight then add the rest later and save up to about 30 % doing that so you could book a flight now and just deal with the rest whenever exactly that's what you're exactly yeah hotel yeah get the flight hotel Well, get later with a swim up bar if you want it. Car later, yes. And the more you book, the more you save. So that's why even though you're doing it later on, the more you book in the bundle, the more you save. You can save up to 30%. Yeah, the more you book, the more you save.

27:57Jason Kelce:So more is more. More or less. And if you want a cocktail with a full meal skewered on top of it, that could probably be arranged too. Expedia, the one place you go to go places. Sign in to save. Savings vary. Let's get to a little Eagles commanders. Please. Big division game. Eagles. Home opener. Yeah, home opener. Eagles got out of it 24-22. Yeah. Came down to a two-point conversion to tie the game at the end. And Eagles had a big stand. Had a big stand. Then there was a celebration penalty earlier in the game where they had to kick a field goal because they got knocked back. They couldn't go for two.

28:39So, yeah, I mean, listen, everybody's been curious to see what this offense

28:43Jason Kelce:was going to look like with Sean Mannion. My big takeaway from the game is that Jalen Hurts looked really good. Jalen Hurts looking great, man. Despite him getting some pressure, them struggling in the run game a little bit, and things kind of being off tilt, he made some big plays when they needed him. Huge play to Wicks early in the game. That was a great fucking ball. Awesome. A couple of awesome plays to Dallas Goddard. Come on now, baby. Tight end you? If you want to be good at quarterback, just find the tight end. Find the tight end. Just find the tight end, man. Nice play down the sideline to Smith.

29:14I've always thought Dallas needs to get way more touches out there, man.

29:17Jason Kelce:Well, this offense, I think, will fit him pretty well. You know, all this misdirection and stuff, they scheme things up, and it stresses those linebackers. But I think the big thing is, obviously, they struggled a little bit up front. Landon Dickerson now on IR was – I mean, he's one of the toughest guys I've ever played with. Yeah, yeah. It got announced yesterday. He's one of the toughest dudes ever, man. And he tries to play through everything. And, you know, I think it's the right decision. You know, you could tell he wasn't redirecting as well as he needs to or has. And it's a shame because when he's healthy, he is one of the best guards in the league.

29:49Jason Kelce:One of the best, yeah. So he struggled a little bit in the game. And then I think, you know, Cam Juergens had a couple holding calls. I don't think he played as bad as I think what Twitter maybe seemed to say. Going back and watching the tape, I think it was just like, you know, they just struggled to get in the rhythm. Had one big run of play where Saquon Barkley made like an awesome cut on an inside zone, ironically shotgun run, which wasn't one of the underneath stuff that they've been really trying to develop. A lot of blitzes off the edge. We knew Washington was going to come in doing more of this Brian Flores thing.

30:20And they got us a couple of times on these like edge pressures and the front side of it. Some blitzes into the protections. But again, I think if I'm an Eagles fan, I'm happy because Jalen Hurts looked good.

30:32Jason Kelce:I think a lot of that other stuff will get corrected, and as these guys continue to get reps in this offense, we'll improve. So they got the win. Was it the prettiest? No, but we'll take that one for sure. Yeah. I mean, I've been in the same system, so I can't really attest to this, but you've been in a few different offenses, or at least the terminology has changed in a lot of them. For sure. How long does it take from the beginning of a new offense or a new system coming in for you to get comfortable in that system? Um, I think it's – Obviously, Mannion coming in for Philly and this being week one.

31:10Jason Kelce:I think some of it's different. I think, like, it felt like with Chip, we were rolling right out the gate. Right out the gate. And a lot of that is – Nick Foles, I think he had, like, seven touchdowns his first game, set the record. Well, the first game was with Vic. Vic. And it was against the Commanders. And we – I think we had, like, over – we had over – what's the, not 50 points, what do we have at halftime? Over 50 plays ran at halftime. They ran close to 100 plays in the whole game. Vic was throwing the ball all over them. They couldn't stop the run. I mean, it was a crazy first game. But listen, when you're running a no-huddle, like tempo offense, the playbook is pared down, so it's not as complex.

31:53Jason Kelce:When Doug came back in, it took me a couple weeks to get into rhythm. I had a terrible starting the first year with Doug. I think it's different for different guys. I expected it to be a little bit slower for Jalen because I think that's the guy who it felt like was going to be the most different. Ironically, he looked the best out of everybody on the first week. Offensive line-wise, they've all run these plays, but they're coached and the little details and the Amy points are just slightly different. And I thought it was a big test. I thought going into the game, Washington isn't necessarily an opponent that everybody is.

32:26Jason Kelce:fearful of, but they're running a different defense. They're going to be blitzing like crazy. And now we're running a new system. The angles are slightly different. And on top of that, we're going to see an aggressive guys are going to be slanting, blitzing off the edges. They're running corner blitzes. I knew it was going to be a test for these guys to run this new offense for everything that was going to be thrown at them. And it was. And, you know, shout out to, I think it was Durante Jones, the new D.C. in Washington. I thought he did a good job. Their front played really well. But I do think, overall, the Eagles will get better from it.

33:03Jason Kelce:Oh, yeah. The front's going to play better. Landon going on IR, getting healthy. We'll see what they do. I don't know what they're going to do. I mean, Drew Kendall played really well in the preseason, as did Willie Lampkin. We'll see who ends up getting the start next week. I got Lampkin in there, man. I like Willie a lot. Come on, man. Yeah. Get everybody fired up. Yeah. Drew's great, too, though. Don't sleep on Drew. I mean, Lampkin. They're both good dudes. The one that we were talking about. Yeah. And the one I saw the highlights of. Yeah. Well, you were talking about Hurts, 14 for 25, 203 yards, three touchdowns, two to my guy Dallas Goddard.

33:35Yep. Dallas had 77 yards in two tubs. Solid day at the ballpark. Very solid. Very solid. Definitely have some things to build on on top of that, but also have some things to fix, as every single week one. But at the end of the day, 1-0. Doesn't get better than that. Well, there was a crazy-ass play by one of the gunners on the commanders, Tyler Owens. Maybe the coolest and most gnarly special teams clip I've ever seen in my life. It was definitely from the past week. It was so badass. Yeah, it was. I mean, it's great effort. You split the double team, stiff-arming a guy with his right arm all the way down.

34:13The second guy comes back, tries to beat him to the spot. Fucking throws a left jab from hell to this dude's neck. completely collapses him, then throws the other guy off of him and ends up catching the returner mid-air Yeah, Britton Covey tried to jump. and pile-driving him into the ground. It was an impressive clip. I would have blown both my gaskets. Like, you would have just seen veins popping out of my, like, neck if I had ever made a play like that. Yeah.

34:46Jason Kelce:Britton Covey, who is an awesome returner, is very light, but he returns the ball like he's Mike Allstom. There's like no hesitation. He's just like right into it. He runs. I've seen so many clips of Britton just putting his body in line and getting fucked up. Listen, man, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Respect the hell out of it. Way to go, Coug. You're fearless. That's how you need you. That's how you got to be as a returner, man. He's a fun teammate, too. Yeah, yeah. Well, shout out to Tyler Owens, man. It was a hell of a fucking play. Well, Eagles have the Titans. You want to touch on anything else on the game?

35:22Jason Kelce:The biggest thing to me, again, is just offense is going to keep getting better. It's the first showing. Really happy with how Jalen looked. I think the run game will get going here. Move on to week two, baby. Week two. Week two. Titans in Tennessee. Coming off a rough game against the old Jets. Yeah, but I don't know. Solid was the D.C. and Sam Fran last year when we struggled down the stretch there.

35:47So it's the NFL. Any given Sunday, baby.

35:50Jason Kelce:Any given Sunday, you got to come prepared or you get your teeth kicked in. All right, now. And that does it for Chiefs and Eagles. You want to get to the rest of week one? Let's do it. Offense is back. How about it, baby? How about that? The points have been trending down the last couple of years as teams have gone to these shell coverages and eliminating explosive plays. But offenses appear to have adjusted. Ten teams scored 30 or more points in all on Sunday. More points in any week one since they started counting this statistic. Oh, shit. That's crazy. You never want to overreact to week one.

36:27Jason Kelce:But I do always think, you know, it's always funny how it goes back and forth, right? Like the offense has the upper hand. It feels like defenses adjust and then they kind of got you for a couple years. And it feels like the offenses have started adjusting more fullback usage. It's like three times higher than it's ever been. More under center, right? More 21-12 personnel. More Kenneth Walkers and running the football. Teams are playing too high. All right, we're back to bully ball in New York. Oh, yeah. Yeah, man. This is a fun day and age if you like running the rock, you like physical play, and it feels like offenses have really adjusted to how the defenses are playing things, and that is probably a big reason why the points are up.

37:11Jason Kelce:It's not just a fluke week one. Defenses haven't worked on tackling because nobody plays in the preseason games. It does feel like this might be a trend for the whole season. What do you think? I think the offenses. Let's go, baby. Let's go. They also ran up the score out there in Chicago, man. They had a combined 96 points between the Bears and Panthers. That's pretty fucking nuts. Yeah, man, Ben Johnson is a mad scientist, dude. He really is. You watch this guy's game plan, how he uses the tight ends, all the different run schemes, and it's just so fun to watch. Started off on the right foot.

37:44But he said earlier in the preseason, his goal was to break the 2013 Broncos scoring record. And when you put up 59 points in the first game, you're really giving yourself a chance, Ben. And to be honest, their team is fun to watch, man.

37:58Jason Kelce:Yeah. They really are. They run the ball really well with DeAndre Swift, who I don't know how. He got out of Philly? The guy has been a baller everywhere he's went. He finally got paid over there in Chicago. Happy as hell for him. He's running the fucking rock. He's good out of the backfield. And then on top of that, two-headed monster at the tight end position. I know my dog Colson didn't get a – or Loveland didn't get a lot of looks, but Cole Komet had a big touchdown. And they're wide receivers, man. They're wide receivers make plays downfield. And Caleb is back there slinging the rock and making plays with his feet.

38:36It's a fun offense to watch.

38:37Jason Kelce:Well, the offense looked great. Defensive was not as great. Gave up some points. and also had one of the saddest plays I've ever seen. Let's play this clip. Stout always says you want to punish the blitzer, break his will. I don't think there was any will going into this one. It just felt like he knew he was going to get blocked. Did he get hurt? I don't know. It looks like he gets hurt. Well, we can't make fun of him if he got hurt. That's not a great look. Can we clarify if there's an injury? That's not a great look. I think he might have just got caught. It almost looked like his brain rebooted, like mid-blitz.

39:11Oh, his system shut down for sure. That shit said, dude.

39:17Jason Kelce:Niners won the first ever Australia NFL game. That's right. They beat the Rams, who everybody was already handing a Super Bowl to, basically, including myself. Any given Sunday, baby. And don't get me wrong, the Rams are still going to. They got McVay. They got Stafford. Yeah, the Rams will be fine. I take away more from that. And listen, I know everybody wants to talk about the sleep fucking stuff and whether it was right to go out last second. Roll the balls out and let's fucking play football, man. I don't want to talk about that too much because I think it discredits the 49ers. The 49ers went in there and they played their asses off.

39:49Jason Kelce:They were flying the fuck around. That defense, I think people forget because they had so many injuries. Like I did. I forgot how good these guys are. I didn't. Yeah. You're smarter than me. Nick Bosa was fucking flying around, throwing guys all over the fucking place. And their entire defense, they got Greenlaw back. He was flying around. And not only that, they're hitting shit. They were coming downhill. hill they were ready for that fucking game they heard all the talk about you know the rams in the media and you could tell they were a little fired up from it and like we said the rams are going to be just fine they're still going to be one of the best teams in in the nfl and super bowl contenders um but at the same time man that uh that niners team brock purdy came out had a great game they went to my guy george who fucking fought his ass off after an achilles injury to get back healthy and be there for week one.

40:37Happy as hell for him. Get Kittle out there. The NFL is just that much better when we get my guy G. Kittle out there. And then my guy Demarcus Robinson, who used to play for the Rams, used to play for us. He's been fucking stout everywhere he's been. Had a big-time game. The Niners really put it together out there, man. They looked like they were playing. Debo's back out there. He had a great game as well. And it's just when they're rolling, man, And that is a team to be feared in the NFL. And they showed it out there in Australia.

41:08Jason Kelce:Everybody's talking about the travel, so let's bring it up. Why not? I don't think that this was as much of an impact as everybody's making it to be. But the Rams flew 15 hours to Australia one day before versus the 49ers, who went a whole week in advance. So the debate you're always trying to make, do you go earlier to acclimate to the environment or do you go later? And the one thing that always stands out to me is, like there's always like somebody that comes up who's done like some scientific research there's always a scientific researcher who's done the sleep actually your circadian rhythms don't get more affected if you've been there for 24 hours as opposed to yeah it's where's the sun and all right and to me where's the moon and all right go ahead to me all these science whatever they put in front of the team to sell you on the reason they're doing it is you can find the science to say whatever the fuck you want to do.

41:59Jason Kelce:You can pick and pull. They made a whole study out of saying chocolate's healthy for you because it has antioxidants in it. I believe it. Anyways. So what happens, in my opinion, is these organizations or the coaches go into it with like, it would be really nice to not. Do you want to go out there? It would be really nice to not be out there all week. We all have families and shit. I kind of like sleeping in my bed. What's the science say? Well, there's this one thing that says that your heart rate. Did a great study on. Let's send 12 guys out there before time. Let's send the staffers out there and see if they sleep better.

42:33Jason Kelce:Hey, Bill, what do you think of your sleep? Well, I actually slept better the first day than the third day. Oh, well, I guess. How'd your arthritis from playing 13 years in the NFL feel, Bill? Oh, it turns out your fucking knees don't have any of that. I just like, I don't need a scientist to tell me that I feel better fucking being a week ahead of the game. I've traveled. I have traveled before. I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. If I go a week out, five days after traveling to LA, I feel better than the first time. God damn it. That's so good, man. But the intern felt fine. Awesome.

43:11Jason Kelce:Jesus Christ. Oh, man. Shout out to the intern for going out there for scientific research. I just think we overthink this shit sometimes. And usually it's overthought because you want a specific outcome. That's what it is. That's what it is. Can we all just not try and, like, don't overthink it. Do you feel better when you travel after a couple days being there or the first day you're there? I don't think it's that hard. After a couple days, it's easy. I don't give a fuck what my HRV says on the third day. I don't care. Let me check my whoop. Yeah. Let me check my whoop. Jesus Christ, guys. Hey, intern, what does your whoop say?

43:46Yeah, yeah.

43:46Jason Kelce:That being said, I don't want to discredit. I don't really think it made as big of a factor. It didn't, no. Yeah, at the end of the day, this is like a very small difference. We play on short weeks. You take plenty of caffeine. You're getting Toradol before the game. Come on now. Toradol knocks out that jet lane. In the NFL, man, it's week one. I'm fired the fuck up. Honestly, I also just like going early because I'm a football guy. I like hanging out with my teammates. I get to go do weird shit that I would have never been able to do. That's some of the funnest times I've had. There's a haunted castle right next to us.

44:15Jason Kelce:Fuck yeah. That's cool shit. I want to go get some schnitzels in Germany with my friends. Schnitzels and pilsners. I had fun doing that one. Football question, how long until the league cracks down on the banana motion? I don't want to talk about that. It's nonsense. Juszczyk wasn't doing anything wrong. I feel like people haven't seen fullbacks in such a long time that they don't realize that they used to move around out there. Hey, that old ball player out there in San Fran's been there for a while. Yeah, yeah. Been there for 14 years. As long as you're not going forward, and he wasn't going forward.

44:47Jason Kelce:Now, there's some times where guys are going a little bit at the line. You run down a toss-crack motion. Sometimes those guys will cheat a little bit. A little sneaky, a little sneaky. get up on them. But I mean, I don't think this rule needs to be changed. I don't think there's a big uproar. I am for the way that they work within the rules to utilize that motion. And I think a lot of the outrage is fake to create engagement. So what the hell was the call in the Saints game? A lot of other people did not know this specific rule, including they asked Jared Goff after the game. He didn't even know the rule.

45:17So before we see it, if the quarterback

45:19Jason Kelce:Jack gets hit as he's throwing the ball, and the ball goes backwards. What is that? I guess it would be a fumble. Apparently not. Let's play a clip. The rule is because the ball doesn't get dislodged in his hand, like he maintains control of it, and he's trying to throw the ball, like the intent is to throw the ball forward, and he doesn't lose control. The hit is the thing that makes him throw it backwards. By rule, it's an incomplete pass because he was intending to throw it forward. But they're saying his arm's coming forward. As long as you're trying to throw the ball and you haven't lost control.

45:57It's got to be arms coming forward.

45:59Jason Kelce:I'm telling you, it's not that. I promise you. That's pretty crazy. He is intending to throw the ball. Sometimes you watch slow motion football of a guy just getting fucking smoked from the front. Dude, God damn it. I love when spinal columns look like they're starting to be compressed. Go through that, Jared. Yeah, that's the best. His C4, C5 is... It wasn't even like a part of his fucking body for his little bit of a day. So... That's pretty crazy, man. I think there's a stupid rule. If the ball goes backwards, no matter what, it's a fumble to me. Right? Yeah. It was a huge play in the game, a huge moment.

46:35Jason Kelce:And if the ball gets dislodged, like it's like a little bit loose, then it would have been a fumble because his arm wasn't going forward first. That's what's like weird. Like, it's not even that the arm wasn't going forward when the initial contact was made. is that it just like threw it backwards, but he only threw it backwards because he was hit. So he wasn't intending to throw it back. I just think rules that factor in like intent are stupid. How do you factor that in? I don't know. I think it's here, here and there. I think that right there, judging it by just looking at it, that looked like a fumble.

47:04Jason Kelce:It should be a fumble. Glad we're on the same page. Week one upsets. Biggest one, probably the Chargers. Not a lot of people saw Arizona coming out and winning that game. Yeah, Jacoby Brissett. Shout out to, you know, first dub for LaFleur. Yep, yep. Jacote Brissett, I've always thought he's a good quarterback. He's a baller. He's got some weapons over there on the offensive side, too. He is a professional quarterback. Not the most – I mean, he can't really run for shit, but he will take care of the football. That's the thing. You don't have to run for shit at quarterback. You know, he's a sneaky good quarterback sneak guy.

47:37Jason Kelce:Is he? Oh, yeah. Nice. I always gauge how a quarterback runs quarterback sneak. Brissett's got a good sneak in him. He also takes care of the football. Yeah, he does. I've been a fan of his. Chargers didn't look great in the debut. I don't think that's a case for what they look like long term. I mean, they got great coaches, right? Jim Harbaugh is fantastic. Obviously, Mike McDaniel, they're going to get that offense rolling. Justin Herbert, in my opinion, is a good quarterback. Obviously, they didn't look good this first week, but they're going to get things rolling. Yeah, the biggest one for me was that Cowboys-Giants game.

48:09I thought the Cowboys were going to come out and really come to life. The Giants came out. Shout out to the other Harbaugh brother.

48:15Jason Kelce:John Harbaugh had those boys rolling, man. Rolling. Yeah. And they look like they fucking love playing ball together, man. He talked about it all offseason. We're building the bully. And that's what they did, man. Patrick Ricard was on the field for like 36 snaps. Come on now. Fullback. Come on now, big dog. Scadaboo was running physical. Jackson Dart looked great in the pocket. He's always been good off schedule and making shit happen and running downfield. But he was very good throwing the ball yesterday, taking care of it. Isaiah Likely. Isaiah Likely had a big game. Two tubs. Throw the ball to the tight end.

48:48Forgot to say this about Trey McBride. Throw the ball to the tight end.

48:51Jason Kelce:I think a lot of people have been really high on the Cowboys because they fixed their defense, or they've made a bunch of adjustments to their defense. Well, just because you added a bunch of new players in D-Court doesn't magically make your defense great right away. Christian Parker was in Philadelphia. Vic Fangio, disciple, bringing that defense to Dallas. That's a complex defense to run. That is multiple fronts. You're playing four down fronts, five down fronts, six down fronts. You're doing all sorts of different blitzes, different coverages. Everything's kind of trying to be disguised. That's a lot to ask a bunch of – they only had three starters returning on defense.

49:25Jason Kelce:They got a rookie safety plan. There's a lot to try and get that thing orchestrated. There were some blown plays by that defense. It did not look good. I do think it's going to get better. Not a good first showing. Great first showing for New York. They looked very good. Jackson Dart looked like he's stepping into his own over there, man. Yeah. Happy for him. It happened for my guy, Naggs, over there in New York as well. Matt Nagy. That offense looked like a Matt Nagy and Greg Roman offense. It looked like a combined of the both. Because the run game and everything that you get out of a Greg Roman offense was awesome and dialed in.

49:57Jason Kelce:And then it felt like Jackson Dart was playing better just watching it. Now, listen, when you run the ball like that. You seem comfortable, man. Yes. It looked very good. All right. that's it for bold topics brought to you by xfinity wi-fi security it's coming at you um let's get the stamp of the week man um i got mine it's the easiest stamp i've ever had damn it he literally dribbled a human being off the ground like they did in space jam yeah like the monsters did in space he was just the doom the doom that shit was fucking ridiculous i don't Why doesn't he get the ball once a drive? Just one play a drive, just throw it to him in the flat, let him stiff arm the fuck out of somebody for 10 to 15 yards.

50:45Jason Kelce:I don't think, dude, that's got to be the best stiff arm in the history of the game. That shit was nasty. King Henry has got some good ones over there. Nobody has ever bounced a human off the turf with one arm. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I've seen Derek Henry do that. I mean, he's got a good one too, but that one, it seemed extra vicious. Dude, that was, it was just the whole, like, manhandling situation. Like, he literally just palmed them and threw them on the ground. It was crazy. Like, as a man, that just sucks. Fuck. Like, everybody's got God. Like, the NFL, like, in the NBA, like, you get dunked on.

51:21Jason Kelce:It's like, ooh, you just got dunked on. It's like, brother, you just got your fucking head piledrived into the fucking turf. You just got dunked. Somebody just dunked you. I didn't know heads could bounce. Yeah, well, apparently a whole body can. On grass. He went airborne. Yeah, Harden is a dribble ball on grass? He dribbled a human. There's no bounce. Like, at least turf, you got rubber pellets helping you bounce. That was so aggressive. All right, who are you going with? Fuck. I'm going with my guy, Drew Locke. There we go. Over there in Seattle, stepping up for Sam Darnold getting injured early.

51:56Drew Locke, a Kansas City kid. I got to see him. KC? Yeah, I got to see him play high school basketball. Saw him drop 30 in a playoff game. Shout out to Drew Lockman. We're getting the dub out there in Seattle and stepping up. Thank you to our partner, American Express. The NFL is back, baby. Ha ha. Woo! Woo! 54:14Jason Kelce:No, no questions because there's no such thing as dumb questions, just dumb people. We're coming back to one of our favorite segments. Haven't done it in a while. No Dumb Questions brought to you by Expedia. Expedia can answer all of your No Dumb Questions on what you want to do when you're traveling. How do we feel about sporting event proposals? All right. We had two this week. Jets fan on the sideline. A Jets fan would use a Jets game to propose. Jets fan on the sideline during warm-ups at the Titans game. Listen, if he didn't get down on a knee, it doesn't count. That's not how you do it. What?

54:47Jason Kelce:He just, like, presented her with the ring? What? What are we doing? This is what you're about? New York Jets? That's not an informative video. Classless proposals? There's no way he didn't get on a knee. That's the whole thing. Yeah. That's the proposal. You get down on a knee. You get down on the knee. Hold on, hold on. We got a knee in the very first frame. I was about to say. We got a knee. We got a knee. Yeah. Alright, alright. He's down, he's down. He's Tebow. That would have been great. What type of class list? Yeah. All right. Yankees fan with no ring and just a Jumbotron sign? Well, that's fun.

55:26Jason Kelce:Talking about class list. What the fuck are we doing in New York? Listen, man. We got to just. You got to have a ring. We got to find a way to get a ring, man. Yeah. We got to find a way. I get it. You know, the rings cost a lot. Not everybody has a lot. Well, you don't want to get the wrong ring because then. But at the same time, we got to have. That's the whole thing. You present. You present. and you she accepts an offering yeah exactly you don't put it on a fucking digital scoreboard well listen I'll be honest hey sweetie yeah alright how about it what do you think oh so classy see what I did um sporting event proposals aren't my thing um I feel I'm more into the intimate style but if it's to each your own like I don't know if you both are big fans and you're digging it more power to you yeah If you want to be put on display in front of a crowd of drunk Yankees fans, go for it.

56:24Jason Kelce:I don't know. I mean, if that's your thing. At Brit Slow, how much cologne is too much asking for a New York Giants quarterback? I think this is in reference to a clip that went viral with Jameis Winston in which he proceeded. Jameis was going crazy. Yeah, he emptied the entire bottle. The one thing I know is he came out there smelling pretty good. I was going to say, man, listen. It just depends on how potent you want to be. That's one of those where you're – I hope you're not stuck in an elevator with that person. But listen, if it's Jameis Winston, he pulling it off. I'm telling you that right now.

56:51100%. There's nothing that man can do.

56:53Jason Kelce:I expect him to have a strong scent coming at you. You're not a cologne guy, though. I'm not. Well, you know they make that stuff with, like, rotten milk and shit like that. Like, you know what goes into cologne? No. Dude, it's fucking crazy. They go with, like, you have to go with the shitty smell because that somehow gets the orifal factors or whatever the fuck these things are. Okay. And it gets those engaged. And then they put the good smell and stuff inside of it. Oh, this is brilliant. Yeah. It's like rotten eggs plus flowers. I don't really know how it works. You just crop dusted it and walked over there.

57:29Jason Kelce:Well, yeah. That's because that's what you do to start the perfume. Then you come back. And then it's like, man, Jason smells really good. You don't smell like shit. So you just don't combat that with anything? I got my deodorant on. At F-L-R-C-G-H. Nice. That's a bot. Nice username. Guido. Jesus. When a player switches teams, do they share everything they know about their former team? Usually, yes. Why wouldn't you? This is a strategy that is actually often used. Sometimes you'll see your team about to play, let's say, the Dallas Cowboys. And the Dallas Cowboys will sign a Philadelphia Eagle off the practice squad.

58:05Jason Kelce:Two weeks before the game. Very mysterious. Oh, what a coincidence. Out of nowhere. You want our guy. And then all of a sudden they know all of our calls and all of our formations. No, this is very common practice. Pretty much at this point, everybody knows everybody's calls in the NFL and all of these things because they have it written down by players telling them all this stuff routinely. Stout would always be like, a little birdie told me they like to do this, this. Oh, so you asked Maragord about Seattle. Our defensive assistant who was their defensive assistant last year. Real. so no this is very common practice it does happen the ratting program in the NFL is pretty intense listen man if you ain't cheating you ain't trying you gotta make a living sometimes hey we'll pay you$100 ,000 if you tell us everything about the Philadelphia Eagles alright
