0:24In the possession of that individual. blind simp Trump bootlickers who cannot be saved. Senator Dave McCormick of Pennsylvania. Well, first, he pledged allegiance to ICE and blamed politicians in Minnesota for the shooting before he claimed that he actually sides with the NRA and others for a full investigation. Shout out to the NRA is one of the things I never thought I'd say today for finally becoming relevant to an actual dialogue about the Second Amendment for a refreshing change, by the way. I might just become a member again if they can manage to become just as vocal and aggressive in situations like this going forward.

1:02I can't help but wonder if they have somebody new in their media strategy department. Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana wrote, quote, The events in Minneapolis are incredibly disturbing. The credibility of ICE and DHS are at stake. There must be a full joint federal and state investigation. We can trust the American people with the truth, unquote. Yeah, well, I applaud your willingness to trust us with the truth. But I've got a little newsflash for you, Senator. Senator ICE and DHS already lost whatever little credibility you think they might have had, at least when it comes to the general population and the court of public opinion.

1:34You need to poke your little head out of that shrinking MAGA tent and take a look outside more often. Senator Tom Tellis of North Carolina says there should be a thorough investigation. Republican Senator Pete Ricketts of Nebraska wrote, The nation witnessed a horrifying situation this weekend. My prayers to the family of Alex Preddy. My support for funding ICE remains the same. enforcing our immigration laws makes our streets safer, unquote. I mean, I don't know how much more tone deaf somebody could get. Now, he did go on to say that there should be an investigation along with his other Republican colleagues, but these thuggish spectacle raids by ice goons dressed like ninja turtles are not safe.

2:09They're anything but safe. When multiple American citizens are being shot dead in the streets on camera, it's a pretty good sign that you've either f***ed up royally or you are, in fact, the bad guys. and it's entirely possible that it's both. And no, we don't need to abolish ICE. What we need to do is demilitarize it. No more masks, no more AR-15s, no more helmets or body armor. This shouldn't be a goddamn SWAT team. You get a basic green police uniform and you get a service pistol. That's it. You can keep your shotgun with rubber bullets and tear gas locked up in your cruiser, but you're not going to be allowed to go door-to-door with 10-armed goons, essentially swatting private property owners anytime you feel like it.

2:49You are not the judge, jury, and executioner here. That's not how any of this works. FBI Director Cash Patel was talking to Maria Bartiromo on Fox and said, quote, You cannot bring a firearm loaded with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have that right to break the law and incite violence, unquote. Play the clip. No one who wants to be peaceful shows up at a protest with a firearm that is loaded with two full magazines. That is not a peaceful protest, and you do not get to touch law enforcement. You do that anywhere, this FBI is going to be leading the charge to arrest those.

3:26First off, where the hell are those Epstein files, you fraudulent hack? And second, what part of shall not be infringed do you not understand, you gutter-sifting swamp maggot? I can, will, and often do bring my firearm loaded, sometimes even with multiple magazines, to any sort of goddamn protest that I want. It's that simple, and I'm not breaking any sort of law, you absolute moron. No one who wants to be peaceful shows up at a protest with a firearm that is loaded with two full magazines. Alex Preddy was not inciting any sort of violence. It was your jackboot thugs dressed for war who were terrorizing an otherwise peaceful neighborhood.

4:08People are allowed to conceal carry legally anywhere they want in this country. And the FBI director doesn't get to pick or choose who does and doesn't. The hypocrisy of these clowns who fully embraced Kyle Rittenhouse knows absolutely no bounds whatsoever. Those of us with concealed carry permits will bring our firearms with us wherever we damn well please, unless it's a secure location like a jail or a courtroom or a school. If I was the kind of person who attended protests, which I'm not, I wouldn't even think twice about having my sidearm on my hip because that's just how I roll, bitch. talking about our FBI director, Kashyap Patel.

4:47No one who wants to be peaceful shows up at a protest with a firearm that is loaded with two full magazines. Quote, I don't like any shooting. I don't like it, unquote. President Donald Trump said on Sunday. But I don't like it when somebody goes into a protest and he's got a very powerful, very loaded gun with two magazines loaded up with bullets also. That doesn't play good either. Sorry, it's my best Trump. I'm not good at that one. But this, coming from Agent Orange himself, if you didn't know that was Trump saying it, one could easily mistake this as a criminally idiotic thing that could have fallen out of the crusty old mouth of Nancy Pelosi or the late Dianne Feinstein.

5:25But no, Trump shows us here that he thinks this gun is somehow more powerful than the others. Which tells you right away that Trump is clearly not a gun guy. He's a spoiled brat rich kid from Queens. What the hell would he know about guns anyway? All guns are powerful, you insufferable gas bag. A fully loaded gun with two magazines loaded up with bullets also. Yeah, that's the point, you numbskull. What, am I only supposed to put half the bullets in the gun? This dumb old guy talking about things he has zero comprehension of. More of the same, I guess. Same as it ever was for this fake conservative president of ours.

5:58He's not a liberal. He's not a conservative. He's Trump. He's just Trump. He's all about Trump. And if it's not about Trump, he doesn't give a shit. I'm more conservative than Donald Trump. at least when it comes to the right to bear arms in the United States of America. Now, to be fair, Trump has been consistent on pushback against so-called assault weapons, and he did stack the Supreme Court with a bunch of pro-2A judges, and that's not nothing, so I will reluctantly give him credit there. But that credit is not worth a whole lot because it sits in the shadow of his support for red flag gun laws that subvert due process by taking guns away from people without any evidence or due process or court proceedings to do so, a direct violation of the Second Amendment and quite possibly the Fourth as well.

6:45Because while Donald Trump might not care exactly what type of guns you own, there is no denying that he is a gun-grabbing, slimy, slithering swamp monster of the lowest form. Look no further than the time that he sat right next to none other than the late Dianne Feinstein herself, perhaps the most notoriously imbecilic gun grabber in the history of the U.S. Senate and told the nation that he thinks it's okay to, quote, take the guns first and then go to court. I present to you exhibit F. Or might take the firearms first and then go to court because that's another system because a lot of times by the time you go to court, it takes so long to go to court to get the due process procedures, I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy man's case that just took place in Florida.

7:36He had a lot of fires. They saw everything. To go to court would have taken a long time. So you could do exactly what you're saying, but take the guns first, go through due process second. What Donald Trump is actually saying here is no different than anything that Barack Obama or Joe Biden themselves wouldn't salivate over. What red flag gun laws mean, in essence, is that anyone, a family member, a co-worker, somebody that you cut off in traffic, or even your mailman, can simply call the police and tell them that they think you're a danger to yourself, others, or both. Then the police can legally go to your home and detain you and confiscate all of your firearms and put them in gun jail until you can prove to a judge that you are somehow not a threat to the general public.

8:19They've now shifted the burden of evidence without proof of a crime or anything that could be considered evidence to prove your own innocence. That, my friends, is what we call pre-crime. Not to mention what the hell they would do to you if you didn't comply. So you're having a bad day. You were rude to your brother-in-law. And now there's a SWAT team at your house with a gun in your face and a gun in your wife's face and a gun in your daughter's face and a gun in your dog's face. And it's all done in the kind name of safety. That doesn't sound like shall not be infringed upon to me. That sounds more like a totalitarian deep state scam, which is all Donald Trump has ever been or ever will be.

8:58Take the firearms first and then go to court because that's another system. Conservatives rise up against Trump for crying out loud. Unite against Trump the charlatan. Unite against Trump the gun grabbing fraud. Because a lot of times by the time you go to court, it takes so long to go to court to get the due process procedures. I like taking the guns Unite against this pedo-protecting con artist. Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? Unite against this wannabe interventionalist nation builder who destroys everything in his wake. Unite against this imposter of a conservative whose only real agenda has been to line his own pockets and to cover his own big orange ass.

9:40If you don't want to get your asses handed to you in the 2026 midterm, then I suggest that every last one of you real conservatives dropped Donald Trump like the radioactive potato that he has always been and secure yourself on the right side of history for a change. Am I getting through to any one of you out there? Look, everybody makes mistakes and we're not going to hold this against you. You can switch over to the right side of history anytime and we'll pretend like you were never a bootlicking Trump fan. And it's better late than never to admit that Trump just sucks, and you know it. Taking a stand against Donald Trump does not make you a liberal.

10:15It makes you a better conservative. It makes you a reasonable person. Your time is going to be better spent fighting the wokeism that's about to hit us again tenfold once Trump kicks the bucket and Democrats seize power again for another eight straight years. I'm happy to be wrong, but if you don't see the writing on the wall, I'm not sure what to tell you. Once Gavin Newsom is in the White House, it's going to be the official era of DEI indoctrination across the board. Not an equal and opposite reaction, but an unequal and opposite reaction of mass proportion. Because the left has learned a lot about what the public will tolerate when it comes to Donald Trump.

10:48And if you don't think they're not standing back and taking notes, and realizing that there's really nothing people can do to stop you once you get into that hot seat, then I don't know what you're smoking. And that's it for today, and until we can do it again, it's Newsweek Radio, I'm Jesse Edwards, catch you next time, bye. And we say bye-bye. Newsweek Radio is a member of the Trust Project. No one who wants to be peaceful shows up at a protest with a firearm that is loaded with two full magazines. Take the guns first. Go through due process second.

This is a call for conservatives to finally say out loud what many have long known: Donald Trump is not a conservative, he is a threat to conservatism itself. On guns, on due process, on the power of the state, and on the rule of law, Trump has governed like the very authoritarians the right once opposed. The choice is no longer political. It is ideological. Either conservatives abandon Trump, or they abandon their own creed.
