And in this new age of misinformation and disinformation that we find ourselves currently living in the news. It is more important now than ever to realize that every single one of us have fallen for fake news at one point or another. Every one of us have believed outrageous memes that proved to be bullshit and committed to lies that were later discovered to be true. We are all guilty of it and let anyone who is without sin cast the first stone in this department. Because nobody is immune to propaganda, especially when it's been weaponized and is being wielded by the most rich and powerful people and nations on the planet against average, ordinary, everyday citizens like you and me.
0:49With the current amount of bullshit that's bouncing off the walls in every single direction, it's incredible that any of us are capable of holding a single thought in our heads for any longer than 30 seconds as we doom-scroll from our toilets in a vain attempt to make sure that we are always in the loop and never separated from the constant bombardment of infotainment that is rotting our brains, hearts, and souls. The first step in finding our way out of this nightmarish information age hellscape that we find ourselves in is admitting that there's a problem in the first place. Most rational people can see it even if they do continue to retreat back into their safety blankets of blaming political opposition and surface level tribalist thinking.
1:33It's just a bunch of ones and zeros as far as your mind's eye is capable of seeing. I'm talking to those of you who are also equally as sick of this mess as I am. Those of you who have graduated beyond the elementary mindset that allows you to scapegoat all of life's problems onto conservatives or liberals. As if this battle between masculine and feminine perspectives hasn't been fought since the beginning of time itself. I mean, come on, just generally speaking, conservatives kind of represent the masculine while liberals represent the feminine. There's nothing wrong with that. Stereotypes are just patterns that exist.
2:08And I believe that this relationship between the male and female is the microcosm for the duality of life itself. perhaps a show for another time. Masculine and feminine aren't genders here necessarily. They're more like instincts, offense and defense, apathy and empathy, discipline and compassion. Every healthy society needs both, and every unhealthy society lets one try to dominate and erase the other. Yet we act like this is somehow unnatural, because each side of the political dialogue in the United States spends most of its time trying to change the other like a husband and wife who can't stand each other.
2:43Is it any wonder that people are framing this as the national divorce? Those of us who are capable of zooming out and disassociating our own political belief systems to look at this problem objectively, it's pretty clear that the people who are running this country and the rest of the world for that matter, both public-facing and behind the scenes, have every reason to keep us fighting each other so we don't join forces to fight them. I mean, for crying out loud, it almost happened when Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party were practically saying the same things and demanding the same answers and chanting similar slogans as they protested.
3:18But predictably, each movement was soon then co-opted by the most extremist elements from each side of the furthest reaches of the political spectrum. And then they vanished into thin air like a fart in the wind by design. I'm sorry. The last thing that powerful people want is to have everybody reading from the same page, so they do everything that they can to stop us from doing that. And unfortunately, to their advantage, today, keeping everybody on a different page is easier than ever. Because all you gotta do at that point is flood the playing field with bullshit. Which is why we're being hit with bullshit seemingly from every direction.
3:54And don't get me wrong, the average American loves it. We have grown so accustomed to bullshit, that when it's not flying past our pointy little heads, we get so bored that we can't stand it. And I can say that because I'm one of them. I'm not afraid to admit that I love bullshit too. We get a lot of bullshit. If I'm being completely honest, which is something you're not going to get everywhere else. Bullshit. Because I do love to hate the bullshit that falls out of Donald Trump's mouth on a daily basis because it confirms my darkest thoughts about the clown that are unfortunately accurate. Just got a good line of bullshit.
4:25And I do love to see the bullshit hypocrisy coming from Trump supporters who would have a heart attack if a Democrat like Obama or Biden tried doing half the bullshit that Donald Trump gets away with. I also love to see the bullshit absurdity of the blue-haired left-wing liberal lesbians cheering on Hamas not realizing what kind of bullshit Hamas would do to them in the streets of Gaza if left unsupervised. Bullshit is highly entertaining. And to say that we're not absolutely addicted to it as a nation, or even as the entire Western world for that matter, is a farce. and I think you know it. I know it, and it seems like a lot of the smartest people in the room are all giving the nod, but nobody quite knows what to do about it yet.
5:05I'm just here to suggest that we need to do everything we can to spread the word. Liberals are not your enemy. Conservatives are not your enemy. Your enemy has been enabled by our entire system of government for decades, and they've been pitting us against each other, brother against brother, ever since. When I criticize your side, you think that I belong to theirs. When I criticize their side, you assume that I belong to yours. But you're making a big mistake because a growing number of us do not belong to either. I see it more as rejection of this binary brain rot that we've mistaken for conviction and now defend with religious fervor.
5:44And I refuse to participate in it or take it seriously again until there is order in the court of public opinion. And until there's order back in the White House again, and Trumpism disappears forever, along with Trump's ever-deteriorating mental capacity. Misinformation is ignorance, and disinformation is intent. Trump wields both of them like weapons. One is to confuse, and the other is to bastardize the truth itself. And while there will always be other formidable and contemptuous fraudsters like Donald Trump to fight in this world, I do think it's safe to say that there will never be another contemptuous fraudster like Donald Trump to walk this planet.
6:21Hopefully, God did more than just break the mold when he made Donald Trump. With any luck, it was melted down and formed into a golden toilet, a befitting fate for the king of bullshit. That's it for today. And until we can do it again, it's Newsweek Radio. I'm Jesse Edwards. Catch you next time. Bye. And we say bye bye. Newsweek Radio is a member of the Trust Project. We get a lot of bullshit. Bullshit. Just got a good line of bullshit.
