0:00Welcome to my attention deficit disorder, it's Newsweek radio, I'm Jesse Edwards, it's a reverent news talk and opinion with a both sides suck on a vagina. And the extreme woke left and the extreme woke right represent the core of our problems in America today. So I'm calling on the sane middle majority to rise up and stop letting these extremist fringe elements on both sides hijack, frame, and dominate the conversation. These lines are almost instinctively being drawn on the right wing currently, even if that is too little too late for anything meaningful to happen. I'm not sure the left has ever considered weeding out its wacko elements, so at least the right wing appears to be a little more healthy in that regard.

0:39The problem is that all of these sane voices on the right who are rightfully defending our Jewish friends from the onslaught of anti-Semitic propaganda don't seem to understand that they've been enabling this kind of behavior ever since they became Trump loyalists. Because without Nick Fuentes or Candace Owens or Steve Bannon or Marjorie Taylor Greene or Tucker Carlson or Alex Jones or Dave Smith or Andrew Tate and that entire happy band of intellectually inbred freaks, Donald Trump would have never been allowed to set foot inside of the White House after his first go-around. No, I don't blame anybody for electing Trump the first time around.

1:11Even though I've always been never Trump, at least I could understand why somebody might choose him over Hillary. What I can't get over is how anybody could ever let Trump back into the White House again. I mean, other than the fact that he was simply running against another empty pantsuit in Kamala Harris. This is why I think Democratic leadership in Washington is complicit for getting Donald Trump re-elected. The fact that they put up Hillary and Kamala Harris against Agent Orange suggests to me that they secretly wanted him to win, because they don't have any formidable contenders of their own.

1:43So they might as well have thrown the game, give the win to the opposition, and use it to their advantage, because now they have the world's greatest boogeyman to scapegoat all of their shortcomings on to. Now that strategy might work for a little while, but sooner or later you're going to have to put up somebody of your own that has the ideas and charisma necessary to lead the country. Democrats haven't been able to find their ass from a hole in the ground since Obama. That's just how white folks will do you. Not that Republicans are going to be faring any better with Trump having one foot in the grave and another in a bowl of KFC gravy.

2:13Extremely stable genius. There's nobody on the right right now being groomed to take the lead other than J.D. Vance, who is a joke within the party itself. That I might have to hold my nose and vote for Hillary Clinton. No, I do. I think the only reason Trump keeps him around is because Vance was another Trumper, and keeping him within the orbit of the sun god is the only way to keep him on the shortest leash possible. There is a breathtaking void of leadership in America, which is precisely the same vacuum in time and space that allowed Trump to gain control in the first place. If this is a system that rewards his kind of behavior, then what can we learn about the situation so we can stop it from ever happening again, assuming we haven't already reached a point of no return?

2:50The first step is admitting there's a problem in the first place. The second is getting others to see and understand that the problem is real. And I think the third is to build a coalition of us that are sick and tired of the red pill, blue pill garbage and rise above it with our own system of government that gives the people the ability to represent themselves for a change. Because representative government is ridiculously outdated and antiquated in our modern age of technology and connectivity. This void of leadership isn't because we're not producing natural born leaders in America. It's that there's no incentive for natural born leaders to enter public life.

3:22There are people living in every single small town in this country who I believe are infinitely more qualified to run our country than this current pack of hacks and losers from Capitol Hill to the White House. Are we really talking about J.D. Vance versus Gavin Newsom? I do not believe for a second that J.D. Vance is going to be able to secure his party's nomination. But he might if there's no opposition. I mean, Ted Cruz isn't a threat. Marjorie Taylor Greene is a circus clown. Chris Christie's brilliant, but nobody takes him seriously because of his weight problem. What, are we going to pretend that's why Chris Christie isn't more popular than he is?

3:52Give me a break. People will pick you apart for anything if you want to be president, unless you're Donald Trump, that is. Because Trump is still a complete anomaly. Somebody who, because they were never told no about anything in life, is purebred to believe that nothing was off limits. It sees, it wants, it gets, period. Which makes it all the more creepy when you consider a guy like this was best friends with Jeffrey Epstein. They weren't just golfing buddies. And just like Trump's relationship with Putin, Trump's relationship with Epstein is sitting out in plain sight for the world to see, and is thus not a conspiracy because of all the pure transparency around it.

4:26Trump is like the naked emperor, who is fully aware that he's not wearing any clothes. In fact, he's depending on the shock value of his grotesque political nudity to get what he wants out of you. Just hand over your wallet and hopefully he'll go away. There's no fig leaves for Trump in the Garden of Eden, unfortunately. Yeah, he just ate that forbidden fruit and kept on keeping on without a care in the world because he is what happens when there isn't a single living person on the planet who can tell you no or to stop or that you're wrong because when you're wrong and you have billions of dollars you can pay lots of other people to tell you that you're right so much so that you could inevitably start to believe your own bullshit because you've pushed out every source of conflicting information that you've stumbled across and now you've built a perfect echo chamber around yourself that only provides positive feedback.

5:10I guess I'm saying all of this because I'm struggling with the rest of you about what to do with these crazy and loud stupid voices and media out there who are doing nothing but to intentionally try to pull us apart. While trying to raise awareness that these people are dangerous and toxic, it just becomes another billboard ultimately that's free of charge. If we ignore them, they grow. If we call them out, they grow. I mean, I guess there's really no answers here, other than to be militant and exposing and mocking them for the ridiculous trolls that they are and hoping for the best. That's why I like to call Nick Fuentes our favorite Mexican white supremacist, because it reduces him to the joke that he is in a way that even his confused and misled followers can relate to.

5:50An entire ocean of fatherless young men raised on violent video games Mountain Dew and Slim Jims who are now politically active. What I do know is that we cannot let this gamer faction creep in any further into the body politic, because this is what's causing the Pizzagate Jewish Space Laser Flat Earth Lizard People Society to gain traction. I see a lot of progressives taking the conspiracy brain rot bait as well. I mean, most progressives did buy into the DEICRT ESG conspiracy mindset, so it would make sense that somebody like Marjorie Taylor Greene could wrap them around her tiny little redneck pinky finger in less than a week with nothing more than a basic media tour and a few anti-republican talking points.

6:27No, it's not just right-wingers consuming the conspiracy narrative. We have got a serious disinformation problem on our hands that's only going to compound over time if something isn't done to separate the wackadoodles from the general population. And I know that I must seem like a wackadoodle to a lot of you out there listening to me right now. And to some degree, you're probably right. We're all a little bit crazy these days. I'm just tired of the hate. And I know I've been preaching here the last few episodes about some sort of radical form of tolerance, and perhaps I should be a little clearer about that.

6:55Because somebody in the comments section pointed out earlier that they were a liberal who voted for Trump to fight against the woke insanity coming from their own side. And look, I totally get that. I know a lot of liberals who feel the same way. As a hardcore libertarian myself, I might be tempted to do the same thing if I wasn't such a never-Trumper. Because I've always seen Trump as a kind of chemotherapy for a body politic with stage 4 cancer. It's too little too late and 100 % toxic. And it didn't work. He was definitely the bull in the china shop breaking everything, but that's as far as the GOP strategy seemed to go.

7:25Now Trump wants to send you a$2 ,000 check. Is that tax-free? Yeah, just you wait. They'll start taxing you on your tax returns if they ever get the idea. I'll take the check though, because you can never have too many guitars. But that doesn't mean I'm ever going to like you, Donald. The only way I would ever consider forgiving Trump for all of the awful things he's done would be for him to eliminate the income tax for every household making under$200k. Shoot, I'd get a Trump tattoo at that point, but it's never going to happen. And until then, and only then would Trump's ends ever justify his means.

7:54Yes, abolish the IRS for the middle and lower class, make it a flat 10 % tax for everybody else. And while you're at it, why don't you hand over those pesky Epstein files? Otherwise, I say we deport this clown to Venezuela when his term is over. No, I'm only joking. That would be elder abuse. No, I think Trump needs to spend his final years in one of those minimum security nursing home jails where the highlight of his day will be eating applesauce through a straw. No, I can't stand the guy clearly. So I don't know if I can really get up here and talk about how we get over our differences as a country as long as this terrible human being sits in the highest office of the land.

8:27If I'm being honest with myself and the audience, I'm afraid the reality of the situation is far too grim to have any hope of reconciliation across the divide in America, because Trump is just too much of a black hole to get anything meaningful accomplished. The Epstein list could drop tomorrow with his name at the top of it, and nothing would happen to Donald Trump. What are they going to do? Arrest him? Invoke the 25th amendment to remove him from office? It's never going to happen. The base would just rally behind him, claim that the evidence was fake, and stonewall the entire country like they do every single day about every single other issue that comes across Trump's desk.

8:59The only thing on our side now is time. And when our time with Trump is finally over, I can only hope that it breaks the spell that hangs over us. If we're ever going to crawl out of this mess, it's not going to be because Trump changed or because the extremists softened their perspective or because some magical leader rides in on a unicorn to save the day. The only way this is ever going to happen is when we, the exhausted, reasonable, overwhelmed middle, finally decide we're done letting this crazy circus define the country. When we're done pretending that the loudest folks represent the most of us.

9:32When we're done letting these fatherless zoomers raised on G Fuel and Fortnite lore drag us into a Civil war fan fiction. The country's ready, quietly, desperately ready for somebody, anybody to stand up and say enough. Let's just be normal again. Let's be neighbors and let's be humans again, please, for the love of God. So maybe that's just my message for today. Treat people like it's already a post Trump era. Treat your political enemies like they're still reachable because most of them still are. And if we can remind each other just once in a while to go outside, touch some grass, breathe in the real air, shake a hand, maybe share a beer and remember that conspiracy theories are supposed to be for entertainment purposes only, then maybe, just maybe, this country's immune system has a fighting chance.

10:14That's all the time we've got for today, and until we can do it again, it's Newsweek Radio. I'm Jesse Edwards. Catch you next time. Bye. And we say bye-bye. Newsweek Radio is a member of the Trust Project. Russia, Russia, Russia.

Trump never hid his friendship with Epstein. He put it in the open and counted on everyone being too distracted or too tribal to care. In this episode I walk through how something that obvious turned into America’s favorite blind spot and why the extremes on both sides keep letting it slide.
