Russia, Russia, Russia. Between these latest Epstein email drops that I haven't even been able to process mentally yet. So Mark Epstein asks Jeff Epstein in an email to Steve Bannon if Vladimir Putin has the photos of Trump, quote, blowing Bubba, unquote. I just don't even know what to think of this one yet. Maybe this is why Jeffrey called Trump the dog that didn't bark when he was allegedly left alone with that underage girl. Pure speculation, of course, as if there's anything wrong with that, especially when the president is holding back so much information that it forces everybody to speculate that it's fair game, muchacho.
0:47I feel like I loathe Donald Trump more than even your average liberal, because I'm actually a conservative in a lot of ways, most ways. So I've got this extra layer of resentment for the clown because he makes conservatives everywhere look just as stupid as he does, and I hate that. I hate that for the GOP, I hate that for our country, and I hate it on a personal level simply because of how much time and energy we waste as a country talking about this stupid asshole. Pardon my French, but sometimes the shoe fits. There's nothing wrong with being stupid, and there's nothing inherently wrong about being an asshole.
1:18The problems start when you have a stupid asshole and you decide to put him in charge of the country. And now the entire right wing is kicking its own ass right now over discovering that seemingly half of the conservative movement are just conspiracy nutjobs who praise Hitler, downplay if not outright deny the Holocaust, and act like the Nazi salute is perfectly acceptable behavior in this day and age. And I just want to say thank you for making it happen. Thank you. As if they had no idea that half the party was made up of these kind of stupid assholes like Elon Musk. Notice how he's kept his resting bitch face out of politics all of that.
1:55Holy shit. Sorry, scared me. But it is important to remember that Trump wouldn't be neck deep in this Epstein scandal if it wasn't for Elon Musk tweeting that Trump was in the Epstein files on June 5th. Yeah, remember when he called his Nazi salute a Roman salute? What an absolute jackass. The fact that he thinks you're dumb enough to believe it tells me that he's not too bright himself because if history has proven one thing over the ages, It's that you can have all the money, wealth, and fame in the world and still be a stupid asshole. Again, sorry for all the spicy language on the show today.
2:27I try to keep things PG-13 here, but I'm feeling punchy from this overload of Trump news this week. But I do think it's fair to toss Elon Musk into this batch of losers that the relatively sanish conservative right is rightfully distancing itself from currently. Because don't forget, Elon Musk is very much part of the Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes, Alex Jones gang. even though he dropped politics like a hot potato after his predictable falling out with Donald Trump. Yeah, I called that six months before it happened. Same with Marjorie Taylor Greene, for that matter. Not afraid to toot my own horn, but I'm not exactly sure who will be next in Trump's inner circle of super friends to betray him.
3:05And I understand that lots of folks are like, well, but Donald Trump is about as pro-Israel and Zionist as you can get. I mean, which is a fair point. If you actually believe that Trump has any loyalties or reverence to anything that doesn't directly pat his bottom dollar, because this political chameleon is anything to anybody with the biggest checkbook in the deepest pockets. The problem is that without his current batch of Nazi youth, Trump would have never been elected in the first place, and he knows it. He used these conspiracy clowns as the support structure of his campaign and legitimized their voices in doing so.
3:36This is dark MAGA. I'm not just MAGA. I'm dark, gothic mega. Now the White House wants to pretend that they don't embrace this conspiracy mindset on the side. They don't want to say out loud that they admire Hitler, so they put it out there in the form of a question instead like they're playing Jeopardy with Nazi propaganda. I'll take jacking off for 2000, Ken. No, that's actually the term for pushing racist horseshit in the form of a question instead of a statement. J-A-Q-I-N-G-O-F-F. So instead of outright stating that they admire Hitler, they simply ask, is it wrong to admire controversial historical figures?
4:11You know, shouldn't we be more tolerant of people who are just admiring bad guys? Normalize through repetition, test the boundaries of the audience, avoid explicit accountability, and shift the goal posts by implying that the questions are reasonable, which is what leads many of us to believe that these people are paid and trained actors. Because this level of deception isn't organic. It's coordinated and choreographed and synchronized and mapped out well in advance of these useful idiots saying these things on their bankrolled podcasts. These guys don't just wake up one morning parroting the same lines and pushing the same narratives and aimed at the same pressure points unless somebody, somewhere, is steering that ship.
4:45If you're wondering who benefits most from a right wing that's divided, distracted, paranoid, and fighting imaginary battles while real propaganda power shifts overseas, well, Qatar has been quietly building influence for years. I'm not saying that they're writing the scripts for these conspiracy right influencers, but the overlap between their interests and the chaos that's being pumped into our bloodstream is getting harder to ignore. And if you don't believe me, just look it up. I'm not here to do your homework for you. Oh, and not to mention the ridiculously generous gift of a Boeing 747 to Donald Trump himself.
5:17Oh, right. It's going to his museum, not to him personally. My mistake, because nothing says totally normal, nothing to see here, like a foreign government handing over a luxury jet to a president who just so happens to be calling the shots in the Middle East. But sure, we're the crazy ones for raising an eyebrow to that. But let's get back to Trump's pro-Israeli stance for just a minute here. Because I don't think he's so much pro-Israel as he is pro-whoever is stroking his ego in the moment. Look at his relationship with Netanyahu. One minute Bibi is his political soulmate, the next minute Trump was screaming F him because Netanyahu congratulated Joe Biden for beating Trump in 2020.
5:57That's not conviction. Israel's very useful for making him look strong with his evangelical base and when his donors are watching. But the second it stops feeding his narcissism and padding his wallet, he's going to turn on Israel like he does with everyone else he inevitably burns because he's a ridiculous con man. That's why the ceasefire in Gaza happened at the same time they were announcing this year's Nobel Peace Prize winner because Trump told Bibi to agree to the ceasefire so he could win an award just to have another tchotchke on his shelf. That's how I see it. Both of these things happened on October 10th.
6:30The person who actually got the Nobel Prize called today called me and said, I'm accepting this in honor of you because you really deserved it. A very nice thing to do. And Trump thought he was a shoo-in if he could get Bibi to quit bombing Gaza. But he didn't get the prize, so it didn't work. I didn't say then give it to me, though. I think she might have. She was very nice. To me, it kind of shatters the notion that somehow Israel is secretly controlling the United States, because if anything, it's the other way around. Israel is our puppet in the Middle East, buddy. Think of it as our largest military base that keeps the entire region in check, because I trust Jewish culture over Islamic culture.
7:11Shall we say because of how they manage basic human rights compared to Sharia law, for example? You know that beautiful throwback to the Stone Age where in its purest form, women are forced with the threat of violence to cover head to toe, beaten in the streets by Islamic moral police with a stick if they leave the house unchaperoned, and where they routinely toss gay people off of tall buildings as a form of punishment for what they see as immoral behavior. There ain't any kind of barbarism like that happening in Israel, so it's not that difficult for me to choose sides in the culture wars of the Middle East.
7:42Now, Israel's like an unofficial US military base that also happens to double as a kind of religious Disneyland for people who take religion literally. Yes, I prefer my religion figurative, but that's probably another topic for another day sometime. I mean, God is real, but it comes in the form of consciousness itself, which I happen to believe is the only true gift that we're given as human beings, and the only thing that we can take with us when we die. Religion is kind of like falling in love with your car, which is really easy to do these days, because your car takes you places. The journey itself can be a blast, but it's not exactly who you are.
8:15It's just an empty vessel that got you where you needed to be, but you're not supposed to live in it. Many people do live in their spiritual vehicles. I call them the spiritually homeless. I guess we can talk about this now, since we already kind of are. And there's always going to be time to bag on Trump, but it also gets kind of old kind of fast, and I plan on branching out into more topics here very quickly. But much like how I don't believe we need a governing body to represent us in Washington and that we should just replace Congress with a direct voting system of by and for the people, I very much see church in the same way, as just another middleman standing in the way between us and the divine that always screws up our order and needs to get out of the way.
8:50Look, if the church is the middleman preventing a direct connection between you and God, then Congress is the middleman preventing a direct connection between you and our constitutional republic. And while it's highly unlikely that I'll ever have the opportunity to connect America to the divinity of direct democracy in my lifetime, I do, on the other hand, have the power to eliminate the middleman in my own spiritual life, which is why I choose to connect directly with the divinity of consciousness itself, or, you know, God, if you prefer. And wow, I was not planning on going here today, but I discovered this thing called deism about 15 years ago, and it's changed how I view the entire world drastically, politics included.
9:28Many of our founding fathers were deists, actually, not Christians, as the Christians often claim. Thomas Jefferson was a deist, Ben Franklin, Thomas Paine, James Madison, George Washington, all deists. It's the belief that God already gave everyone everything that they would ever need to understand his nature without the need for religious interpretation to play a part in any of it whatsoever. And that religion is basically nothing more than other human beings telling you what they've seen and what worked for them. But it's nothing more than a tool or a vehicle to get you to the destination, not the destination itself.
10:00Because the kingdom of heaven is within you, remembering what Christ actually said. And he wasn't exactly loved by the church back then, if I remember correctly. They killed him because he was telling people that they didn't really need the church to know what God is. This thing that so many of us are hardwired to believe in. Yet we all have these different explanations about who or what it is and how it behaves. The deist sets all of that aside and simply observes the world around them for clues that they can analyze through reason and logic to come to their own conclusions. Because the truth Truth is in the eye of the beholder.
10:31If the Bible or the Torah or the Koran does it for you, that's great. I'm happy for you. Just remember that those are just words and translations of the divine written by mere mortals, and you have just as much authority to find your own path and to write your own scriptures as you do to follow and read theirs. Let me know if this kind of talk is interesting to you or not in the comments section because it fascinates me. And there's so much more to life than politics 24-7. Hit me up. And until we can do it again, it's Newsweek Radio. I'm Jesse Edwards. Catch you next time. Bye. And we say bye-bye.
10:59Newsweek Radio is a member of the Trust Project. Actually got the Nobel Prize called today, called me, and said, I'm accepting this in honor of you.
