While border Barbie Kristi Noem is out at Homeland and Trump has yet again signaled that he's flirting with the idea of amnesty for illegal immigrants of some convoluted kind, no doubt. We got to work with the farmers and people that have hotels and leisure properties, too. We'll get to that just a little bit later. But first. Secretary of Homeland Security, who's going to be fantastic. I know her so well. And I know it's probably not complimentary because she is a woman, but she is tough. Where is she? Where is Christy?
0:33Christy? Christy? Great. Stand up, please. You have such an important job to do.
0:44Thank you very much. And don't let that look fool you. That look is she's she's tough and she cannot stand what she's that. She's having to sit here and even listen to this today. I bet it's really uncomfortable for her because you made it uncomfortable by commenting on her looks. Don't let that look fool you. That look is... That's Trump in January of just last year. And what a total disaster Noam and her department has been ever since. Because despite all the public PR with her shameless$220 million vanity series of commercials, and the nonsensical bravado of marching immigration goons down Main Street USA arresting Native Americans and shooting protesters dead along the way, imagine being so terrible that even a toxic egomaniac like Trump who hates admitting that he hired the wrong people, would drop you like a hot elote bowl.
1:34America grande otra vez. Of course, he's incapable of simply firing people anymore. So Trump appointed her as a special envoy for the Shield of the Americas. Get this, a regional coalition of countries in Latin America that works together on ideology and policy initiatives that help secure the Western Hemisphere? Yuck! Ah, barf is right. What an absolute snorefest that sounds like. I thought these were the nonsense government positions that Trump and Elon Musk were supposed to eliminate with Doge. A regional coalition of countries in Latin America that works together on ideology and policy initiatives that help secure a western hemisphere well.
2:17That could be incredibly boring, but it could also be incredibly lucrative, I'm sure. Probably the perfect grift for Kristi Noem. Yes, I'm sure she could afford to live like a princess down in Caracas. You know, with her harem of beta males. So, Secretary Noem, at any time during your tenure as Director of Department of Homeland Security, have you had sexual relations with Corey Lewandowski? Mr. Chairman, I am shocked that we're going down and peddling tabloid garbage in this committee today. Well, she didn't say no. Isn't it funny how the left is clutching its pearls when a married woman like Kristi Noem obviously has a side piece and she doesn't even try to hide it.
2:57it's like the worst kept secret in Washington. Aside from Lindsey Graham being a little light in the loafers. I don't think you have to be, you know, a general to figure that out. But just imagine being in charge of Homeland Security, going all the way down to Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas. Something tells me that she's going to be spending the next few years south of the border and, oh, I'm sure she'll be filming herself feeding starving children in South America just in time to land a gig at CNN by the next administration. Trump himself was caught floating the idea of amnesty for illegals recently even if he didn't know that's what he was doing.
3:29And we have a lot of heart. And I said, you've got to lighten up on this. We have a lot of heart for people. They came in illegally, but they're good people, and they're working now on farms, and they're working in luncheonettes and hotels, you know. And we're not looking, we're looking to get the criminals out right now. And yet again, the America First faction of the vast right-wing conspiracy are livid because they realize that everything that Trump promised them this time around was a complete and total lie. He might have delivered on the reversal of Roe v. Wade for conservatives in his first go-round.
4:01But they're all asking themselves, what has Trump done for me lately, whether they'll admit it publicly or not? And they all know the answer is nothing. But this wasn't the first time in recent history that Trump outright suggested that people who came to the U.S. illegally should be given some form of pathway to citizenship. Flashback to Newsweek Radio, July of 2025. If a farmer is willing to vouch for these people, in some way, Christy, I think we're going to have to just say that's going to be good, right? You know, we're going to be good with it. Because we don't want to do it where we take all of the workers off the farms.
4:34We want the farms to do great like they're doing right now. So farmers, look, they know better. They work with them for years. You had cases that were not here, but just even over the years, where people have worked for a farm on a farm for 14, 15 years, and they get thrown out pretty viciously. And we can't do it. We got to work with the farmers and people that have hotels and leisure properties, too. We're going to work with them, and we're going to work very strong and smart. And we're going to put you in charge. We're going to make you responsible. Wow, I never thought I'd hear Donald Trump say something like that.
5:05But this time, let's put it through our patented Ronnie Reagan translation machine so we can decipher exactly what it is that Trump is trying to say to his base here, shall we? All right, let's just turn this thing on, and there we go. Now I'm going to feed the machine a portion of Trump's audio that we just listened to, And we're going to hear what comes out the other end here. Let's take a listen. We got to work with the farmers and people that have hotels and leisure properties, too. All right. Now, here is the patented Ronnie Reagan translation here on Newsweek Radio. Take a listen. I believe in the idea of amnesty for those who have put down roots and who have lived here, even though sometime back they may have entered illegally.
5:44Yeah. Geez, you know what? But I think Barack Obama actually said the same exact things many times in the past as well. Take a listen. After all, most of these immigrants have been here a long time. They work hard, often in tough, low-paying jobs. And their hopes, dreams, and patriotism are just like ours. Well it's no wonder that MAGA has its collective panties in a wad over this. Because we don't want to do it where we take all of the workers off the farms. We want the farms to do great like they're doing right now. Just another massive fissure in the inevitable collapse of the marriage between Donald Trump and his base.
6:16This is exactly why I've always been optimistic about Trump's return to the White House because if you thought the first time around was a train wreck, you ain't seen nothing yet because now the difference is that Trump has nothing to lose. Perhaps I'm just a bit of an anarchist, but I think the lessons we're all learning now as a society are priceless and terrifying at the same time because we're learning about the depths that human beings are willing to sink to in order to convince themselves that there's some level of competence and integrity in Washington when there never has been. Be the change you want to see in the world and stop looking to the idiots in Capitol Hill or the White House for answers.
6:46They represent us, not the other way around. And I think somewhere along the way, we got those wires crossed and we're long overdue for correcting this problem. Politicians are not your friends. Most of them are scum sucking lawyers who are only there to line their pockets in the pockets of their friends on Wall Street. Republicans used to know this better than anybody back in the day, but everything seemed to change after 9-11, didn't it? If you didn't swear allegiance to the Bush administration at the time, somehow you hated the troops and were against America. That's how a lot of us saw it.
7:12And it's like 9-11 pushed both sides of the ideological divide further into their corners, elevating American tribalism to another level completely. Either you're with us, either you love freedom and with nations which embrace freedom, or you're with the enemy. And this is what we're starting to hear from the far right yet again as a neocon marches us off to another war for oil. Not just another war-happy neocon either, one who specifically ran on a no wars in the Middle East ticket. I want to get out. I want to bring our troops back home. I want to start rebuilding our nation. We will have, as of three months ago, seven trillion dollars in the Middle East over the last 17 years.
7:52We get nothing, nothing out of it. And here was Donald Trump just yesterday. The lives of courageous American heroes may be lost and we may have casualties that often happens in war, but we're doing this not for now. We're doing this for the future. I don't know for the life of me how anyone could still be a MAGA Republican today when Trump has clearly not only turned on you, but exploited your loyalty and your vote to advance his own personal agenda with his big globalist billionaire buddies. Yeah, we should check in on Marjorie Taylor Greene just to see what her latest take on all of this bullshit is.
8:29He already said to the New York Post today that he doesn't care about the polling. He doesn't care about what the American people think. And he may put troops on the ground. He took a, oh, this is going to be a few day war to now it's going to be maybe four weeks or more. I want to say what is happening to the man that I supported, the man that denounced what happened in Iraq, the man that said no more foreign wars, no more regime change. Promise it on the campaign. J.D. Vance promised it. Tulsi Gabbard promised it. All of them promised it. And we're a year in, a year in, and we're in another fucking war and we've got American troops being killed.
9:09I think it's time for America to rip the Band-Aid off and we need to have a serious conversation about what the fuck is happening to this country and who in the hell are these decisions being made for and who is making these decisions. Hey, Marjorie Taylor Greene, I got news for you. I told you so. Every single one of us Never Trumpers told you so. But aside from that, I do think that for the first time in her career, Marjorie Taylor Greene is a true representative of her followers because she does represent a much wider swath of the conservative population who are waking up daily by the thousands to realize that Trump is, was, and always will be an absolute fraud.
9:47I probably don't agree with her on a lot of key issues, but I would be lying if I said that I wasn't at least happy for her speaking out instead of just, you know, going away. But if we are living in a world now where Marjorie Taylor Greene is making sense, then I think it shows just how far down the rabbit hole we've already fallen in just over one year into Trump's second turn at the wheel. God help us all. And until we can do it again, it's Newsweek Radio. I'm Jesse Edwards. Catch you next time. Bye. And we say bye bye. Newsweek Radio is a member of the Trust Project. Don't let that look fool you.
10:18that look is uh she's she's tough and she cannot stand what she's that she's having to sit here and even listen to this today
From the publisher
Trump just dumped Kristi Noem from Homeland Security and almost immediately started floating the idea of some kind of immigration amnesty. Again. At the same time, the “no more wars” candidate now finds himself presiding over a growing conflict with Iran, leaving parts of his own base furious. Even Marjorie Taylor Greene is openly blasting the move, warning that Trump is abandoning the America First promises that helped return him to power. From Noem’s quiet demotion to the MAGA backlash over Iran and immigration, the cracks inside Trump’s coalition are getting harder to ignore.
