In short
The host argues Trump is not controlled by a specific foreign power (Russia, Jews, Saudis, etc.) but by flattery and money; he also claims the U.S. is becoming insolvent, warns about escalating costs and political dysfunction, and briefly discusses UFOs/interdimensional beings as a distraction from real chaos.
Key claims
Trump’s behavior is driven by “kissing his ass” and greed/ego; the Pentagon seeks an extra $200B; media allegedly missed Treasury’s insolvency declaration; political polarization prevents accountability.
Notable examples
Drudge-linked NYT claim that Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman pushes Trump to continue Iran war; a Russian oil tanker heading to Cuba; “jump, shh, and cover” turtle Bert; UFO reports from “jet pilots.”

Save big money at Menards. Irreverent News Talk, Opinion Satire. It's Newsweek Radio. I'm Jesse Edwards. It's top headline over at the Drudge Report at the moment in all red caps.
0:37Trump continues war for crown prince. So this is how the narrative is shifting now. I think Trump is controlled by Russia. You think Trump is controlled by the Jews. And now it's being suggested that Trump is being controlled by the Saudis. When in reality, Trump has always been controlled by anybody willing to kiss his ass both publicly and privately. I'm telling you, these countries are calling us up. Kissing my ass. That's all any of this has ever been about for him. And it's why Republicans have had such a hard-on on putting and keeping this guy in office. Excuse the expression. The actual headline that Drudge was linking to over at the New York Times is Saudi Prince is said to push Trump to continue Iran, war, and recent calls.
1:13Prince Mohammed bin Salman sees a historic opportunity to remake the region. Well, great! There's your funding right there, Mr. President. Go get that$200 billion you were trying to eke out of us taxpayers from your Pentagon and get it from the Saudi Prince. Yeah, it's great to have them on board. But what's that going to mean for my bottom line? Which is something we're all asking ourselves at the moment. Why is the Pentagon going to ask Congress for an additional$200 billion? So we're in very good shape, but we want to be in the best shape. And it's a small price to pay to make sure that we stay tippy top.
1:45Because if the cost of living keeps going up at this rate, we are all going to be homeless in about five years. Hopefully, if it happens to all of us, it can't happen to any of us. Come to think of it, that's probably the same idea that keeps this entire illusion of stability alive. The Treasury just declared the U.S. insolvent and the media missed it. It's not hyperbole. It's the conclusion drawn directly from the Treasury Department. Yeah, it's only going to get more expensive from here, folks. And none of the adults in charge have any idea what to do about it. I mean, what do you expect from the same people who got us into this mess to begin with?
2:16Nothing is going to change until we start voting these people out and cutting the money out of Washington. Unfortunately, that would require a united population, and they've got us too busy fighting each other to ever get there. Now, I seriously hope I'm wrong, but be honest with yourself. Do you really see this problem getting any better when we get another Democrat in office and a Republican again after that? The pendulum of politics is swinging wildly in both directions, between conservatives and liberals. But the cost of living keeps climbing either way. And I guess in that sense, affordability really is a hoax, as Donald Trump put it.
2:46You know, they always have a hoax. The new word is affordability. You know, a hoax in the sense that you and I are never going to see affordability again in our lifetimes without a complete and total collapse of the entire system first. That starts to look more and more like the aftermath of World War III. You know, when the New World Order comes to complete fruition with a global currency and promise to rebuild from the ashes of what little might be left after the nuclear holocaust? There was a turtle by the name of Bert. And Bert the turtle was very alert. And danger threat, and he never got hurt.
3:20He knew just what to do. He's jump, shh, and cover. Jump, shh, and cover. He did what we all must learn to do. And you, and you, and you, jump, shh, and cover. It's hopeful thinking, I'm sure. Let's just hope the aliens are capable of stepping in and saving humankind from its own collective suicidal tendencies. In all actuality, that might be the only reason they've been interacting with our government in the first place. I mean, I'm not saying that I believe all of it. Just don't pretend like this isn't the kind of thing that you're reading about, right along with me over on Twitter, never gonna call it X.
4:01Sure, why not talk about interdimensional beings on a Tuesday afternoon at Newsweek? Are aliens real? Uh, they're real, but I haven't seen them, and they're not being kept in Area 51. Just because the world's on fire and we can all be burned to a crisp at the touch of a button by a degenerate politician doesn't mean we shouldn't let our imaginations get the best of us on occasion. The prevailing concept now in paranormal circles is that UFOs and aliens aren't even from other galaxies or distant planets anymore, but from alternate dimensions that are sometimes accessible from different frequencies or levels of consciousness.
4:41I interviewed jet pilots that were solid people. Perfect. I mean, great pilots, great everything. And they said, we saw things, sir, that were very strange. Like a round ball, but it wasn't a comet or a medium. It was something. So yeah, it might make a little sense that the government is having a hard time explaining that one to your average citizen. Jeez, you could have just told me they were from another planet for all I care. I didn't exactly plan on taking things down the astral plane this afternoon, but maybe my wife accidentally gave me some of the grown-up gummy bears in my lunch today.
5:20But my point is that not even space aliens or interdimensional beings of light and consciousness can save us from the chaos of Donald Trump and all of the hell that he brings with him. The Bleacher Report app is your destination for sports. Right now, the NBA is heating up, March Madness is here, and MLB is almost back. That's why I stay locked in with the Bleacher Report app. For me, it's about staying connected to my sports. I can follow the teams I care about, get real-time scores, breaking news, and highlights all in one place.
5:56Download the Bleacher Report app today so you never miss a moment. Now the showdown is between Trump and Putin with this Russian oil tanker heading to Cuba. Cuba. Oh yeah, I'm sure this is going to end well. I think I can do anything I want with it. You want to know the truth? Which means that the Coast Guard is going to have to step in and hold it, which could set the stage for a standoff in the Gulf of Mexico unless Trump tucks tail like he frequently does around Putin. Russia, Russia, Russia. Trump is just corrupt every possible way you can look at him. Because it's not the Russians. It's not the Jews.
6:27It's not the Saudis or the Qataris or the Epsteins or the Rothschilds that control Trump. The only thing that controls Trump is money, greed, and ego. If you play to any or all of those three, it's easy to control a guy like Trump if you have any sort of influence or basic human grasp on human psychology. This man is everyone's best friend for a dollar. And that is the entire depth of Trump's persona. Entirely shallow, built only for show, absolutely zero substance. and cannot be trusted by anyone, especially his own kind, because he is a living pattern of betraying those he keeps closest to him on purpose.
7:07This time around, he just happens to be devouring his own base of supporters like it's a bucket of KFC so he can cash in on the biggest blue whale of his lifetime. The United States War Chest. Why is the Pentagon going to ask Congress for an additional$200 billion? Well, we're asking for a lot of reasons beyond even what we're talking about in Iran. This is a very volatile world. Trump is now creating more enemies on the right than he is on the left. And it's a beautiful thing to witness because it was all so incredibly predictable. For people like me to say that we told you so is pretty satisfying in that regard.
7:45But it is entirely too bad that it does come at the detriment of our country. Let's hope that we've learned our lesson this time and that we never elect somebody like Donald Trump to office ever again. I'm not going to hold my breath and neither should you because this will happen again if we can't get over our differences long enough to hold these bastards in Washington accountable. If you want to make a real difference in this country, go have lunch with a liberal. Go have lunch with a conservative and step away from that keyboard and go have a real human interaction with somebody who thinks differently than you do when it comes to politics.
8:16Just be nice and be civil. And please just try to be open-minded enough to realize that there are many ways of looking at life other than your own. You don't need to subscribe to their newsletter. But you don't need to burn it down either. If you're so offended by somebody else's position on any given political topic or arc, I think that says a lot more about your own insecurities around the issues than theirs. And quit being so dramatic. The deep state is counting on that. Just to sell you advertising for products that you are already going to purchase anyway. And that's it for today. So until we can do it again, it's Newsweek Radio.
8:47I'm Jesse Edwards. Catch you next time. Bye. And we say bye-bye. Newsweek Radio is a member of the Trust Project. Very strange. Like a round ball, but it wasn't a comet or a medium. It was something. And it was going four times faster than an F-22, which is a very fast play, you know. And it was round.

Trump isn’t controlled by Russia, the Saudis, or the Jews. He’s controlled by anyone willing to kiss his ass. As his war with Iran ramps up and costs keep rising, guess who ends up paying for it. (Hint: it’s you.) At this rate, we’re going to need UFOs to intervene.
