0:00If you could say something to President Trump and he was going to hear you right now, what would it be? You are a worthless pile of s**t. And you voted for him how many times? Three times. That was my bad. Apparently I'm an idiot. Irreverent news talk, opinion, satire. It's Newsweek Radio. I'm Jesse Edwards. Here's a full list of U.S. airports with no TSA and no long lines. 20 airports across the United States use private companies to carry out security screenings and have therefore avoided the long lines seen at other airports across the country amid the ongoing partial government shutdown. Republicans blaming Democrats, Democrats blaming Republicans.

0:38And round and round we go. Do you think anybody on the ground in the airports really gives a shit where this dysfunction is coming from? They just want you to fix it. It's why we pay our taxes. Enough with the labor pains already and just show us the baby. Airports that participate in the TSA Screening Partnership Program use private contractors at security checkpoints rather than TSA staff. The private companies run screening operations at the airports under federal oversight and must comply with all TSA security screening procedures. Okay, great. Let's just privatize all TSA screenings and be done with it.

1:12What's the holdup? What I cannot get over on a very human level, if you want to zoom out to the point where we're just like the size of ants, much like when you take off from the airplane at the airport, is what a sad, small, little, pathetic world it is that we can't just get on the plane, sorry, in the plane, without needing to worry about some crazy person hijacking it or blowing it up, usually in the name of some godforsaken religion. So we're forced to tightly control the situation so much that the entire experience feels like you're being booked and released from jail, not that I would know.

1:44There's really little difference in my mind. Oh, you want to make your flight? Well, you're going to need a body cavity search. No, they can't actually do that without calling local law enforcement. Thank God I've never been molested by TSA at that level. I've been felt up by TSA agents at the airport, and let me tell you, it is always strange having a stranger touch your junk, and yes, I do feel like it often crosses the line into a form of sexual abuse on some level. I mean, don't you? This is the best we can do? I mean, it's no wonder that aliens don't want to make contact with the general population.

2:15They're just trying to avoid cavity searches every time they fly like the rest of us. Headline at Newsweek, list of airports where ICE agents will be deployed. Wow. So not only are we going to get the full cavity search, but now ICE agents are going to be shooting travelers and arresting Native Americans at check-in. No thank you. I mean, just based on what was happening on the streets of Minneapolis alone, and the fact that ICE agents have been mistaking indigenous peoples for illegal aliens from Mexico because they're that incompetent. Federal ICE agents are preparing to deploy to a group of major airports across the country as part of the Trump administration's response to ongoing disruptions in air travel during a partial government shutdown.

2:52Yeah, Trump says this was his idea. That was mine. That was like the paperclip. You know the story of the paperclip? 182 years ago, a man discovered the paperclip. It was so simple. And everybody that looked at it say, why didn't I think of that? Ice was my idea. So ICE agents are expected to be present at 14 airports nationwide. The airports are understood to span the entire country, including JFK and LaGuardia in New York, as well as Newark, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, and Phoenix. Yeah, be sure to have your ID and immigration status papers ready for your TSA ICE agent managing your personal in-flight security for you today.

3:35Not only will you receive a full-body cavity search, We'll be sure to detain you for an additional 72 hours before your flight. No, this was not a good time for me to plan a trip to Egypt. Between the TSA meets ice here, and Iran firing rockets in every direction at the moment, yeah. I've never seen the pyramids and everything else there to see up and down the Nile, and I thought now was going to be my time. I don't think it's a good idea. Even though the weather in Cairo is in the 70s right now. Damn it, every time Trump is in office, I have to cancel my travel plans. I'm sorry. Maybe next year.

4:11Yeah, Trump's been all over the place so much that it's pretty hard to keep track. First, he told Iran that they had 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz, or he would start bombing Iranian power plants and knocking out other infrastructure. Now he says we're negotiating with them and gave them another five days for talks. Meanwhile, Iran is denying that any of these talks have taken place, and now Trump critics back here and around the world are claiming it's yet again another Trump taco, which is an acronym for Trump always chickens out, in case you've been living under a rock. Get it? I threw a rock, so then I ran.

4:55Dad jokes for miles. Is it possible that Trump is just lying to us again? Yeah. Yes. Is it possible that he's also talking to some back channel and Iran is lying about it? Sure. And yes. Is it possible that they're both lying and or telling the truth? Yes, yes, and yes. No. It's hard to tell right now. Because the propaganda is bouncing off the walls and sticking to surfaces, as should be expected in wartime. What's that? Trump doesn't want to call it a war now? Okay, well, what does the village idiot want to call it then? They call it a war? We call it a military operation. Oh, good Lord. Donald Trump is sounding more and more like G.W.

5:32Bush every day. American and coalition forces are in the early stages of military operations. J.D. Vance has been urged to invoke the 25th Amendment against Trump. Scott McConnell, founding editor of the American Conservative magazine, has called on Vice President J.D. Vance to express his support for a transition of power based on the 25th Amendment. Hey, it sounds like this guy's been listening to Newsweek Radio. I'm joking, of course. But this has been happening across the conservative movement rapidly, and I say better late than never. Because no true conservative would still be in the Trump wagon at this point unless they're really not paying attention or they're just doing it to keep up appearances and contractual obligations.

6:08I hear what these people have said about Trump from behind closed doors from the beginning. That he's just the useful idiot of the GOP because he's going to do anything for people as long as they kiss his ass. They all know he's a dolt just as much as the Democrats do. Clearly a puppet of the establishment Republicans now. All you have to do is look at the big old fat grin on Lindsey Graham's face. We did Iwo Jima. We can do this. And maybe that was the plan all along. Do everything that the base wants in your first term, only to turn around and bank on that commitment in your second. Exploit is probably a better word here.

6:40Republican Representative Lauren Boebert of Colorado has responded furiously to reports that Trump's Pentagon is seeking$200 billion in additional funds for the Iran war. I will not vote for a war supplemental. No, I am a no. I've already told leadership I am a no on any war supplementals. I am so tired of spending money elsewhere. I am tired of the industrial war complex getting all of our hard-earned tax dollars. I have folks in Colorado who can't afford to live. We need America First policies right now. And I'm not doing that. Well, I can't imagine old Trumpy-Dumpty is going to take very kindly to this.

7:17I will not vote for a war supplemental. You're fired. Looks to me like Boebert is gonna be outie 5000 like Marjorie Taylor Greene and the hits just keep coming and they're dropping like flies. And I made a lot of money and I'm very proud of it. Let's hope and pray that J.D. Vance really does get on board and throw a wrench into this entire thing with the 25th Amendment. I mean, J.D., look, it's either that or they're gonna impeach the fat bastard anyway. So you might as well get in there and give the people what we really want, which is a fight, a real fight, fight, fight. We'll at some point very soon meet.

7:51We're doing a five-day period. We'll see how that goes. And if it goes well, we're going to end up with settling this. Otherwise, we just keep bombing our little hearts out. And oh, hey, would you look at the time we're out of it. So until we can do it again, it's Newsweek Radio. I'm Jesse Edwards. Catch you next time. Bye. And we say bye-bye. Newsweek Radio is a member of the Trust Project. That was like the paperclip. You know the story of the paperclip? 182 years ago, a man discovered the paperclip. It was so simple. And everybody that looked at it said, why didn't I think of that? Ice was my idea.
