In short

The episode is a “Best of NBA News Part 1” recap mixing playoff reaction and offseason/league news. Main topic: Oklahoma City Thunder defeat the Los Angeles Lakers in a sweep, with heavy focus on Thunder’s execution and Lakers’ costly turnovers. Guests argue OKC’s depth (“eight deep”), defense-to-offense, and “methodical” shot creation make them hard to beat, even when Shea (Gilgeous-Alexander) sits.

Key claims

Lakers lost due to 19 turnovers (Smart 6, Reeves 8, LeBron 4) and missed defensive answers for Shea/Mitchell; OKC plays with no bad shots and punishes mistakes in transition/half court.

Notable examples

LeBron stop/rebound followed by a turnover; late-game threes by Mitchell and McCain; Hardenstein high-low lobs; discussion of doubling Shea and forcing others to beat them. Guests also cover NBA Draft Lottery results: Wizards win #1 overall (18-64 season), Utah gets #2, Grizzlies #3, Bulls #4; Pacers lose their 2026 first-round pick. Final news item: Daryl Morey reportedly out as 76ers president of basketball operations.

2:45Shannon Sharpe:Well guys, the Lakers put up a value effort. They scored 39 points in the third quarter. They gave them a four-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough. The turnovers did them in tonight. far too many careless turnovers, but they played a value game. And think about it. You had three guys in mid-20s and you still couldn't get it done. That's a very good team. Jay Mitchell, oh, my goodness. He is sensate. To watch him up close? Guys, look, you got to think about this. When Shea went to the bench to start of the second quarter, the Lakers had a five-point lead. When he came back in the game, they were up nine.

3:23Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. So that is the difference because that is what they can do that very few teams can do. That when their best player goes to the bench, a lead, they eat that up. And if they got the lead, they'll extend the lead. If they're behind, they'll come and get the lead and he comes back in the game and she did. She did what they do, but thanks for all the big shots that they hit down the stretch. McCain, big three after big three. Jay Mitchell, the A and one. It was just too much for them to overcome, Joe. What did you like most about what you saw from the OKC Thunder? Because a lot of teams might have would have panicked like, look, we got three in the bag.

3:58Shannon Sharpe:Let's go back home and close this thing out. But they say, nah, we want to go on and finish this thing up the right way. Do it tonight.

4:04Chad Johnson:Man, listen, as we all know, man, you know, champions prevail, bro. You know, they found ways to win. I agree with you. I think the A.J. Mitchell kid, I don't know where he came from. GP, Ocho, I don't know where he came from. But he fit perfectly. You know, when I watch him play, it's more how decisive he is when he's out there. Like, he don't have no indecision on what it is he's trying to do. He get right to it, bro. It's like, look, I know the game plan. Yeah, we got J-Dub out, who's an all-star. Oh, well, I'm going to step right in. I fit like a glove. You feel me? And I think the Lakers played as great as they can play.

4:43Chad Johnson:I mean, they had three guys with 20 and high efficiency. I'm like, damn, they might have a chance to win. But OKC just got too much, bro. They got closers. They got defenders. They play great team defense. And everybody on their team know their role, man. They a true champion. True champion.

5:02Oh, Joe. GP, go ahead. Take it away. What did you see in this game? Yeah, I'm going to go. I'm going to go. Yeah, well, you know, Shannon, I think the turnovers beat them really tough. Yes. When they had, when they got key stops, even though Oklahoma made big shots, even when they had big-time stops, they turned the basketball over on unnecessary situations. And against a basketball team like Oklahoma, you cannot turn the ball over because they're going to capitalize because they are a great half-court team. And that's what it was. I just thought they turned the ball over. Even when, at the end of the game, when it was 1-0-7, 1-0-9, LeBron gets a big-time stop, get a rebound, and he turns the basketball over.

5:47You know what I'm saying? You can't do that, and then they come right back, and then what they do, they hit a three and go a five. So you can't do that in this situation. I think the Lakers lost this game on their own, but you got to understand, Oklahoma City, they got eight deep. We haven't even talked about the boy Wallace. The boy Wallace is a key ingredient to this, too. The boy Mitchell comes up, but you go nine and ten deep on this Oklahoma team, and the way they play aggressive, I think it's hard to beat this basketball team.

6:19Chad Johnson:Man.

6:21Shannon Sharpe:You're absolutely right. You're absolutely right, guys. And you think about it, Chet. I think Chet had maybe like two points, maybe four points, hitting that fourth quarter, and he ends up with like 16, 17 points. Shea was Shea starting into the free throw line, hit big shots. But I just think the thing is is that it's just so hard because I know J.J. wanted to play Kennard and Austin Reeves together. But the problem is is that they're gonna sit the pick and one of those guys gonna have your guard Shea 101 And he's gonna eat every single time go ahead on Joe. Yeah Now I won't tell you obviously most of the people watching the game especially you guys You knew how the result would be in order for the Lakers to win this game on Joe and Gary and GP The legs would have had to be perfect They would have had to be damn near be perfect and obviously the turnovers that was their Achilles heels tonight Obviously, defensively, they got beat a few times.

7:14They had no answer for Mitchell. Hell, they had no answer for goddamn Shea as well, but obviously no one's had an answer for Shea. But what Mitchell has been able to do and coming through in clutch moments and being a resurgence that we didn't even see before like this has been phenomenal. I thought, for your sake, being that you went to the game, and I know it was a pretty penny, I was hoping they could pull this game off. listen it would it would have been a good one for you to to be able to watch them yeah but uh oh it was unbelievable it was unbelievable i mean goddamn oklahoma city thunder are so strong and really have no weaknesses offensively defensively in transition on the glass on the board i mean there's really no answer to really stop these individuals because not only are they not only the starting five deadly they can go to the bench and give you whatever you need when you start the We're in the starters around as well.

8:11You know what I do? Hey, listen.

8:12Shannon Sharpe:Watching them up close, not one time did I ever think somebody took a bad shot. They get whatever. Yeah, no. They don't take bad shots. They're never in a hurry. Yes, if they can get a chance to get out in transition, they get out in transition. But you know what it is? They're fast, but they're never in a hurry. You don't understand what I'm saying. But you know what, Chad? The reason that is, is that Shea gets whatever he wants when he gets there. And once it's that mid-range game going, a lot of people are now focused on him. And then the other guys just sit where they got to sit. You remember to see Chad?

8:49He always around the bats. They throw up lobs. They throw them. And then the other guys sit there in their comfort zone and just shoot their shots and make buckets. And that's why they don't speed up, because he has the ball in control. So I think sometime to get them out of their situation, I think you just got to double shake sometimes. Yes. Just get the basketball out of his hand and then see what everybody else does. I would do that more to make it an understanding because I can't beat them with him having 35 and everybody else having something else. If I can get him to have 14, 16, and everybody else around has to have a big, big time game, and the Lakers couldn't do that because they don't have anybody to guard it, I would have doubled him.

9:31I would have just got the ball out of his hands because he was pressuring pretty well, and he would have denied him the basketball, but they just didn't do that.

9:39Chad Johnson:Yeah, I think when you think about it, when you look at the Lakers, bro, it seemed like, yeah, these guys shot high percentages from the field tonight. I mean, this is probably the best game they played, but it always seems like it's hard for them to come by buckets. You know, they always got to make tough shots. It seemed like as soon as they make a tough shot, hell, OKC come down and score so easy, because Shea and Mitchell, they're great in isolation, bro. They're great in using their body. They're great in using them bumps to create a little space just to get their jumpers off. They're never in a rush, bro.

10:12Chad Johnson:They have an understanding on the spots that they're trying to get to, and you can't stop them from getting to them spots. If you don't double team them, hell, this is what you're going to have to deal with. And I just think the Lakers, as great as they played tonight, you get, what, 18 from Jackson Hayes. You probably ain't going to never get that again, six for eight. I thought it was perfect for them to win the game. But the last three minutes, the back and forth, oh, my God. You're talking about basketball at its highest level. But I knew they couldn't stop OKC, bro. It don't matter. You know what I mean?

10:43Chad Johnson:AR making tough buckets. Bruin making tough buckets. And GP, you spoke on another thing earlier. It's them damn careless-ass turnovers that they have that lead to points, bro. I'm talking about in crucial, crucial times of the game, under two minutes, three minutes. man, you got to value the basketball against this OKC team because this is how they thrive. You know, their defense creates offense. Hell, they already got great offensive guys. Their defense creates offense too. That's too much of a juggernaut. Hell, we didn't think the Lakers were going to win this series, but we thought they were going to win.

11:16And Joe, you've seen it too. Oklahoma, like you said, makes shots, you know, and they make crucial shots. And see, you remember when LeBron went in there and was fast and miss that little runner and stuff like that, he's got to go get into somebody's body and get to the free throw line. You know what I mean? In a situation like that, get to his body, get a free throw, and then see what happens. But, you know, OK, see, they go there. Shea gets in his bag, and then next thing you know, he makes a great pass. And it was great. Look what Chad did when he was down there. He pumped fake, pumped fake, went up.

11:48They thought he traveled, and he dumped the basketball on a crucial time in the game, and they go up one. See, that's the difference between them two teams.

11:56Shannon Sharpe:oh yeah you and the thing is you said the problem that they had tonight that even when they doubled and got the ball out of shea hands hey mitchell hit a three mccain hit a three and what they do is that they play high low with the big so they trap shea he throws it he throws it to hartenstein to hartenstein takes one dribble he throws the lob and here comes shea hammering it down so i thought they did i was saying the same thing get the ball out of shea hands but and you say let somebody else beat you. Well, I'd be damned if Mitchell didn't do it. And Kane hit a couple of threes. I'm like, bro, he's been sitting for like 10 minutes.

12:32Shannon Sharpe:He just come off a pick and shoot it from 25. At some point in time, Joe, GP, you know this guy, Ocho, you just tip your hat and say, man, that's just too good. That's just too good. Well, Shady, you know, they're going to make shots. But like we say, I still have to let not have Shea have 35. I can't do it. I got to let them beat me another way. You know, the team that makes them do that is the San Antonio Spurs. They make them do that. San Antonio makes other people play, and then that big boy over there block his side. So hopefully if we see that series, I think it'll be a little different.

13:12I think they're going to trap Shea a little bit more, and then we'll see what happens. And that'll be a great series, you know, for me. I would love to see that again.

13:21Chad Johnson:Hey, GP, hold up, though. I didn't think Marcus Smart done a bad job on this series. This is the first game he really got out on him, just to be honest. I mean, he shot 15 free throws. He went 12-15 from the line. But I'm like y 'all, man. I think Shea understood the moment and the way him and Mitchell play off each other, bro. It's unbelievable to watch because you're like, damn, We ain't even really know nothing about Mitchell until this year, if y 'all just want to keep it 100. And for this team to sacrifice the way they do, look at Caruso, look at Isaiah Joe, look at Wallace. Like, those guys, they never rush the issue, bro.

14:00Chad Johnson:They play the right way. The system is great. And like you say, when Shea's not on the court, hell, you still can't run away. And if you trap him on the pick and roll, fellas, because Hardenstein is too clever when it comes to distributing the ball, making plays. He ain't going to do nothing that's going to hurt you. So you trap and it goes to him. He got the high low with Big Fella. He can spray out the three. You just got way too many options you can get up. And his touch around the basket is impeccable. He has a nice little flow game, Hardenstein. So I think OKC is tough to beat, and you can't.

14:36Chad Johnson:You can't just take Shea out, bro. They got too many weapons.

14:39Shannon Sharpe:Truth be told, Joe, hey, GP. And they ain't even got Williams. Hey. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. But here's the thing, though. Here's the thing, though. I mean, you know, Mitchell only make$3 million a year, and they got him under contract for the next two years plus a club option. Now, hey, I like Williams, too. But y 'all telling me Williams is that much better than this kid? Well, no, he ain't that much better, but he make$230 million. That's my point. But just think about if I take Mitchell$3 million and then I go get me so I can get a lot of players for two-plus, GP and ISO. Yeah, they might.

15:18Shannon Sharpe:Because this kid playing, this is a playoff. This ain't no regular season game now. He's doing this in the playoffs.

15:26Chad Johnson:Yeah, yeah, I agree. He did a hell of a job. He did a hell of a number on the Lakers. But I think the test will come if they have to play the Spurs because he going to have guys who are going to be able to go off the dribble, go at him, and guys who can defend. You know, Lakers, we already know Lakers ain't got no damn guards who can defend outside of Marcus Smart. And he was doing a hell of a job against Shea. You're right. He can only guard one of them.

15:51Shannon Sharpe:You know what I mean? And that's the problem that they got, Joe. When you look at San Antonio, they can throw Champagne at him. They can throw Vassell at him. They can throw, obviously, Castle at him. So they can throw a lot of different bodies at him. And so they don't necessarily have to trap. because when you want to run your offense and you want to put Austin Reeves who can score, you want to put a guy that can space the floor and Luke Kennard, the problem that you run in is that all he's going to do is call for the pick. Whoever's guarding their guard, he's going to call for the pick. They're going to come get the pick.

16:22Shannon Sharpe:And then guess what? They got to deal with him one-on-one. And that's every time. And so I was saying trap him and get the ball out of his hand, but he was making the right decisions. He was getting the ball out of his hand, and the guys were knocking down shots. And that's when I say, you know what? Hey, guys, I done did everything I possibly could. I kicked him. I hit him. I called the cops on him. And they said, well, nothing we can do. They said, there's nothing we can do.

16:46Chad Johnson:Hey, them 19 turnovers just hurt you.

16:48Shannon Sharpe:Austin Reed had eight. He had eight by himself. I think Marcus Smart had six. I think LeBron had four. Yeah, that's just far too many turnovers. All right, guys, I'm at the hotel now, so I'm heading up to the room. I'll see you all in about two minutes.

17:02Chad Johnson:All right, we'll catch you in a second. Hey, Ojo. Yes, sir. Talk to me. That was a hell of a game, though, bro. It was. It was. But listen, Joe, I think there are a lot of people that were watching the game. Those that are fans of just NBA basketball in general. I think they were probably hoping that the Lakers could pull this off. I was. I ain't going to lie to you. I think they were hoping that the Lakers could pull this off. Well, Chaz, you know they wanted to see another game, man. They don't want everybody to be because that San Antonio-Minnesota series is going to go get seven games. They're going to go seven, so it's going to give Oklahoma too much rest, man.

17:38And then we're going to see what happens. I wanted to see the Lakers go one more. Let's go one more to make TV and make us see basketball. You know, Chad, we want to see basketball. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's like with the Knicks stuff, man. We didn't want to see them sweep them, man. So the other series is good. So, man, it's crazy that we see we got two sweeps, but the other two series is 2-2. I'm happy Detroit lost today. So we can see them a little bit more. They're going to go seven, I think.

18:07Chad Johnson:Yeah, you think so? Hold up, GP. You think Minnesota and the Spurs are going to go seven? I think so. I see. My thing is, it's an even game, hell, if Wimby ain't out there. We just playing pick-up. But with Wimby out there, GP is different. It's different because, Joe, he changes shots. He do things. He's so big. He can handle the basketball. He just altering a lot of things, man. And he changes the game. But when he get out, everybody else is whatever. You know what I'm saying? I mean, it's whatever. And if he don't play 44, 45 minutes, they ain't going to win. They're not going to win. You see when he got kicked out the other night, they couldn't do nothing with him, man.

18:50You know what I'm saying?

18:51Chad Johnson:Nah. It's an even game when he's not out there. But when he is out there, I agree with you. He the cheat code, bro, because not only can he score, but he's a hell of a distributor. He get guys involved because he draws so much attention. And, hell, all you got to do is throw the ball toward the rim. And he going to go get it. Like, it's just too much. He puts so much pressure on you. And even if he don't block your shot, GP, hell, when you drive in there, he the first person you're thinking about. Like, damn, hold on. Can I get this off? Do I need to just kick it out? Yeah, where he at? You know what I mean?

19:23Chad Johnson:So he always got you thinking, you know, when he's out there on the floor. And when he went out the other night, You seen how the lane just opened up. Guys were just kind of getting what they wanted. You know, they were playing, both teams playing small ball. And I felt like the advantage was for Minnesota because they got Randall. You know, Randall has to be that bull in the China shop. He got to continue to put his head down and make things happen. And I think, you know, Minnesota got a chance. But I don't know if they can win the series. I don't think they can win the series either, Joe. But I know that, I think they're going to beat them.

19:55They're going to beat them in Minnesota in game six. I think San Antonio will come out and probably try to destroy him in game five. So, you know, I don't like it, dude. Shoot, man, we can get on a Sunday and see TV, man. We can see one of them hot ones, man. Yeah, yeah. You know, that would be good to see two game sevens, man, to see who can go to their conference final. That would be great.

20:18Chad Johnson:Yeah, I think – my bad. Go ahead, Ojo. Now, I want to say, for some reason, I don't know why, Joe. And I've been right with my basketball take so far, especially during the playoff. Hey, GP, I've been right about all my takes so far, right? But I have a feeling, I don't know why. As much of a difference as Wimby makes when he's on that court, whether it's defensively or offensively, for some reason, I think Minnesota's going to find a way to get it done. I don't know why I'm saying that. Oh, you really? The series? I do. I do. Hey, GP, I don't know why. Joe, I have no idea. Obviously, both of you played the game at a very high level.

20:55You know much more about the game than I do. The people in the chat are probably going to laugh at me and say, oh, Joe, please, you don't know ball. Sit this one out. But for some reason, GP and Joe, I have no idea why. I just feel they're going to find a way to get it done. Just like last year, Chad? They did it last year, man. They got into the Western Conference Finals the same way, and people didn't think if that boy Edwards get hot or something like that, man, hey, it could happen. because it's 2-2 now, and we didn't think it was going to be like this now.

21:29Chad Johnson:Nah, but listen, GP, you know Ant-Man, he's getting healthier and healthier by the day. I think that's been the key thing because the start of the series, you remember now he was coming off the bench. And by game three, when they got home, hell, he was starting. And he's been a whole totally different monster. But my thing is, when you think about it, fellas, when we get kicked out the other night, I know he pissed off about that. GP, you know he probably going to come out trying to prove a point, you know, put his stamp on the game hella early. So I think it's going to be a tough game five for Minnesota.

22:06Chad Johnson:But obviously they've won on the road. They've won in San Antonio before. I think they may can do it again. But I think the Spurs are going to be way too desperate, you know, to be able to lose game five. Not this one, Joe. Joe, they're going to blow them out, Joe. I know San Antonio is going to get out. They're going to blow them out. They're going to blow them out of the San Antonio, man. Watch what I tell you.

22:27Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, Minnesota ain't going to have a chance. But you know what, guys? Watching the game up close in the white shade, because I've seen the Thunder play before, and I've watched him before. Yeah. Bro, he is so methodical. He knows, he's like, I want to get here. Now, I'm going to let you push me all over here, and I'm going to let you, if I got to go, look here, all I know is I'm going to California. Now, if I got to go to New York and I got to go to Massachusetts and come back down to drive down to Miami, cut through Georgia and Alabama, I already know all of that. But I'm going to get to California.

23:01Shannon Sharpe:And you cannot stop me. Bro, think about it in that fourth quarter. The end one that he hit. Marcus Smart can't play it any better than that. He played it, beat it to the spot. He challenged the shot. He hit the shot. He fouled it, and he made it. What did he do? He get Jackson Hayes in a switch. From three, boom. J.J. Mitchell, what'd he do? He get him in a switch, boom. And no matter what, and Mitchell, man, bro, he made some shots tonight. He made some shots tonight. Because I was at that end in the second half. So I could see, I'm like, ain't no way he going to make. How he make that with that angle?

23:44Chad Johnson:Yeah.

23:45Shannon Sharpe:And the guys around me like, man, how did he? Bro, hell, I'm asking my damn self how he made that. I just want y 'all to know y 'all gonna see this outfit again I got had it on for two hours tonight it's an LV and I'm wearing it a damn game so when you see hey did you have that on in the game you're damn right and I got it on again so I'm just telling you now keep your mouth closed because I'm gonna wear it again hey I'm telling my business man get your wears out of it get your money for it I'm gonna take club episode in it tomorrow so you're gonna see it in the beginning three weeks and you're going to see it again out somewhere.

24:22Shannon Sharpe:So I'm just telling you now. You're going to wear that thing out. It ain't going to be no air. I'm going to get my money worth out of this. You damn skippy.

24:30Chad Johnson:Hey, fellas. Hey, when you look at it, Ojo, GP, the great ones. The great ones, bro. They understand the moment. They know how to get to their spots. I don't give a damn what you do, bro. You know, they know how to manipulate the game. GP, you know this, bro. Playing at the highest level winning title. Mm-hmm. Hey, the great ones, the great guards, bro, they know how to manipulate the game to get to wherever they want to on the floor. Hey, if you don't trap him and get the ball out of his hands, he probably going to make it. Yes. Hey, Joey, just like a Michael Jordan, man. I played against that dude all my career, man.

25:06When it's time for him to play, they play. You know what I'm saying? They go and get their money's worth where it's at. He reminds me, because of his mid-range game, as a young DeMar DeRozan. They right there in their mid game and they stay that way. And he makes shots. You know what I'm saying? Like I tell people, you cannot stop a score. You just got to contain him and hope that he have a bad game and didn't let everybody else hit him. But this Oklahoma team, they got too many weapons around them and they make shots and it opens everything up. And then you can't, you can't double it. You can't.

25:42And because if they make his shots, you can't double it. And then you got to hope that somebody can guard him. and the Lakers didn't have nobody. Reeves and Canard can't guard him. You know, if they switch on him, he lunched me. They lunched me. That's lunched me.

25:57Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah, yeah. They can't guard him. Think about how they started the game. Ludor hit two bomb threes. So now you're like, well, damn. Caruso comes in. He makes three bomb threes. And so you say, well, damn, if we trap him and they're hitting shots, Mitchell was 12 of 18. we've seen Mitchell play at an elite level. Now, look, some of it is the Lakers because they can't defend, but I don't want to shortchange the guy because the guy's been playing extremely well. He didn't even make the playoff roster last year. Now this man looking like, hold on, I got teams out there looking like, hold on, wait a minute.

26:36Shannon Sharpe:He need to be on our team doing that. He don't need to be on no bench. He don't need to be on OKC's bench. He needs to be on our bench starting. He's good. Look, and Chet and those big guys, they deter you because they're every but a seven foot tall. And you ain't getting anything easy. Because even when they just go straight up, you can't see the basket. I'm like, what the hell?

27:01Chad Johnson:No, son.

27:02Shannon Sharpe:But they play well off because they're not a whole lot of teams. They ain't but, what, two teams, them and Cleveland, that really play two bigs in their starting lineup. Everybody else got a big and then basically, you know, They got two legit bigs, 6 '11", 6 '10". Now, granted, Jared Allen's only 6 '9", but he got a 5 wingspan. But these two guys are legit 7 foot tall. And to play like that, you watch this team. I watched their substitution pattern. They're going to keep a score on there. They're going to have three defenders and a big. They're going to keep a score, three defenders, and a big.

27:43Shannon Sharpe:So it is going to be Ludor, it's going to be Wallace, it's going to be Caruso, it's going to be some combination. And then you're going to have Shea and you're going to have one of those big, you have Hartenstein or you're going to have Chet. So they're like, so they can switch a lot of things. And those big guys move better than you think. They're not slug. They're not slug. They're not nailed to the floor.

28:07Chad Johnson:hey hey when you look at hardenstein he was a plus 30 tonight fellas he was a highest plus minus tonight the men only had five points 10 rebounds five assists three steals he is such a pivotal part of what oklahoma city does offensively and defensively like he plays hard as i don't know what and then he's a great facilitator bro and getting other guys involved I think OKC got a great mixture. Now, I think everything is yet to be seen, whether they can, you know, compete with the Spurs like this because the Spurs are such a juggernaut, and I think it'll be a hell of a series, but obviously they got to get out of that series against the T-Wolves.

28:50Chad Johnson:But OKC got everything you need, bro, from scores to hard workers, great teammates. I think from top to bottom, it's going to be hard to beat these boys. But, Joe, the thing that they got over everybody is all 10 of them dudes coming in, they play deep. They play over. And you know what I'm saying? And they don't let off. So you don't have to get a let off when somebody's sub for somebody. So that's why it's so hard to beat this team. But I think that Spurs team match up with them very, very well, athletically wise. Because they got defenders also. Yeah, they got defenders too. and you remember that they won, they won 4-1 in the regular season.

29:35But it didn't think it was regular season. Now this is playoffs. So we got to see what happens. But I still think that'll be a good matchup because I think both of them teams are going to play D and both of them got, and all of them got dogs. And everybody got people coming off the bench too. They both got dogs.

29:50Shannon Sharpe:So I think it's going to be cool. I need somebody to explain this to me. The game time three. the guy that has the highest field goal the highest three-point percentage in playoff history the guy that's leading the lakers in threes why the hell was he on the court i need gp you play joe you play joe you're an all-star gp you in the hall of fame got olympic gold medal i need you to explain also it's the equivalent of your best wide receiver it's the same thing would happen and you i don't know if you guys remember y 'all remember usc played texas and they have a fourth and wanted Reggie Bush ain't on the field.

30:22Shannon Sharpe:The guy that won the highest trophy, he ain't on the field. We got a big, a four-dive situation, and y 'all throwing the ball, and Ocho ain't on the field. What the hell are we doing? He's your best three-point shooter. Well, Shannon, you know what that was called? I think J.J. really went off to the defensive end because he thought that Canard couldn't guard anybody. So he didn't want to switch up because they were getting in the pick-and-roll, and they was keeping Canard in the pick-and-roll. and everybody got in the pick and roll at Kennard, something special happened. So he couldn't guard nobody.

30:55So he said, man, if I can stop him, I can go down there and score with Reeves and them like that. And I think that's what his decision was made. You know, for defense instead of offense. And it probably wasn't a good choice, but that's just the way it go, man.

31:12Shannon Sharpe:That's what I thought he thought. GP, Joe, you get the rebound, you get the stop, I'm taking a time I'm out because I want the best three-point shooter in the game in the game. Yeah. Yeah. I got to think about something. He hit a four-point play to tie the game up. He hit big shot after big shot after big shot. He's been hitting big shots. If you look at it, the four games, he's been that most consistent offensive player.

31:39Chad Johnson:No question. No question.

31:41Shannon Sharpe:I got to get him in the game, guys. And I understand what you're saying. It's like, okay, defense, okay, we've done what we're supposed to do. And I know you don't want to burn your time out. but I got to have him on the court. I just got to. Yeah.

31:54Chad Johnson:Hey, look, I understand what you're saying. I think due to timing and the set that they ran where Austin Reeves kind of came up and got the ball up, I don't think they wanted OKC to foul. You know what I mean? Which is why I think AR kind of, you know, he probably should have shot as soon as he caught it, but he took an extra dribble to try to get a little closer. But, I mean, I get it. you know, Rui probably should have been in the game. And you're right. He's been the most consistent guy, you know, from an offensive standpoint. I mean, hell, he shot the lights out this whole entire series, fella.

32:27Chad Johnson:He did, yeah. I mean, he played great off run and AR. I mean, I'm like you, man. I'm watching him like, damn, big shot after big shot. You know, just staying engaged, bro. I thought they played well enough to win offensively. Man, they just can't stop no damn body. Hell, we knew that. They can't. The turnover, like you said.

32:46Shannon Sharpe:First of all, if my offense is pedestrian, the last thing I can do is turn the ball over because it's so hard. I have to expend so much energy, GP, to get back into the ball game that by the time I get back, even when it's two, three minutes left, I'm out of gas. And then, Shannon, it's unnecessary turnovers. Yes. They throwing the ball away, man, just throwing it up there and they tipping the ball. One time Smart just turned around and threw the ball and it was an interception. Wasn't nobody even there at half court. I said, what are you doing? I was right there. I know what to play. And Austin Reeves tried to feed Rui from half court.

33:29Shannon Sharpe:Half court. And he threw the ball underneath. Underneath. I was like, bro, come on. I'm like, hey. And then you remember Smart did it again and they kicked the ball off the backboard and came back. You know what I'm saying? Man, them turnovers right there is costly, especially for LeBron's turnover with only a minute to go, man. It was a minute and a second. And now, because at that point in time, what were they? Were they down? They was only down two. 107, 109. They could come down there and put pressure on them, but they came right back. And then, you remember, they hit a three, and they went to five.

34:03Yep.

34:04Chad Johnson:Listen, they playing too many damn minutes, fellas. Them dudes tired, man. Rui played 40 minutes. LeBron played 40 minutes.

34:10Shannon Sharpe:Rui played 43. I mean, he's trying to give Braun. The problem is that he's trying to give Braun a minute here. Okay, timeout there. So we'll give you a minute. They're going to take a timeout. So that'll give you extra. But he was exhausted. He was exhausted. And the thing is, look, your recovery, I don't care what anybody tell you, as you start to get older, your recovery ain't what it once was, GP. Absolutely. You know it, Shannon. When you get in them 40s, man, your body, you're going to go lay down, man, and that stuff is going to be hurting for like seven days. Back in the day, you were like, hey, baby, let me catch my breath.

34:48Shannon Sharpe:I hate what I used to be. Hey, Joe. Hey, man, I'm going to drink. I'm going to drink now, boy. Keep your glass of water inside the bed. It get hot. I'm going to drink now. It take me eight, seven days to get back. You got to think about that, man. You're playing against people's bodies now. Exactly. What you think that's going to happen? Marcus Smart tonight had six turnovers, five fouls, two buckets. Damn. What did Reeves have? How many turnovers Reeves? Reeves had eight. Oh, I knew it. I knew it. Yeah, they can't win. He had eight. Reeves had eight. Marcus Smart had six. LeBron had four. And Jackson Hayes had one.

35:32Chad Johnson:Damn. It's hard to win, man. You get 19 turnovers, bro, in a game like this here, you're going to lose, bro. Because OKC, they don't turn the ball over like that. They had 11 tonight, but they normally don't turn the ball over. Joe, they had 19 turnovers within four players. That's the problem. Bang. You ain't never heard of that. 19 turnovers within four players. Come on. That's insane. You can't do that. And now, Superhuman Shaq. I keep telling them not to say that. I'm no superhuman.

36:02Shannon Sharpe:Believe it or not, I struggle with moderate obstructive sleep apnea, or OSA. In adults with obesity, moderate to severe OSA is a condition where breathing is interrupted during sleep,

39:33Shannon Sharpe:The team with the worst record in the NBA, each of the previous seven drafts, failed to land the top overall pick. The Washington Wizards went 18 and 64, came out with the top pick. Oui. Washington was followed by Utah. Time for the fourth best odds at number two. The Grizzlies had the sixth best odds. They got the third pick. The Bulls, the ninth best odds. They got the fourth pick. And the remaining, Clippers, Nets, Kings, Hawks, Maverick, Bucks, Warriors, OKC, Heat, Hornet. The Pacers found themselves on the wrong end of the lottery luck Sunday, losing their 2026 first round draft pick. President of Basketball Operation Kevin Pritchard addressed the fan base, frustrated with that season, full of losing.

40:20Shannon Sharpe:Didn't add a high draft choice thanks to trading for the L.A. Clipper Center. Zubox. Zubox. This is what he said. I'm really sorry to all our fans. I own taking the risk. Surprised it came up a fifth after this year. I thought we would do some luck. But please remember, this team deserved a starting center to compete with the best teams next year. We have always been resilient. Joe, sometimes you got the dice. Hey, you roll the dice. Sometimes you hit a point. Sometimes you roll snake eyes. Hello. They roll snake eyes. Now, so basically, they traded the fifth pick in the draft. Not for Jokic. Not for Wimby.

41:02Shannon Sharpe:Zubats is a double-double guy. But I don't know if anybody would have been willing to trade the fifth pick in the draft for Zubats. And that's not a knock on him. but they rolled the dice and the dice didn't roll out and then turn over in their favor. You like what Kevin Pritchard said. You like the risk, no risk, no reward, no risk it, no biscuit, whatever the terminology you want to use. Do you like the, what the Pacers, you did, you like them going for it?

41:30Chad Johnson:Well, listen, if you're a Pacers fan, yeah, you pissed off. Okay. But I ain't mad that they, you know, went out on the limb, bro. You gotta, you got you a nice big and a Zubac, but this draft is so deep, Uncle Ocho, meaning I think it's some real, real stars gonna come into the league in this draft, and I know they feel like they missed out on a golden opportunity, bro. But at the fifth pick, it's just so tough, man. It's tough. I don't, I mean, I don't know what you're doing. I don't know what you're gonna do with that. If you the club. Utah City. Damn it. We were so close. They still might get, they might can package something and get the number one pick.

42:14Chad Johnson:I feel like they, they're not, I don't,

42:16Shannon Sharpe:you think the Wizards going to give up the Bonza? Why they, why they say that? Hold on. Are you saying package the number one pick? What you mean? What they giving up? Man, maybe they give up Markerman. And, uh, uh. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We don't want to give a Markerman. No, okay. Give us, uh, uh, Washington got it. So that means -

42:39Chad Johnson:We just gonna flip picks. We gonna give y 'all one and we just gonna take two.

42:43Shannon Sharpe:If you - No, no, no, no, no. I need more than that.

42:45Chad Johnson:Give me, I need AD.

42:48Shannon Sharpe:Give me AD. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Do you want the bonds or not?

42:53Chad Johnson:Can we have a serious discussion here? Okay, let's go. I already got Jaron Jackson Jr. and Lori Markerman. What the hell you gonna do with AD?

43:05Shannon Sharpe:Well, I tell you what, We're going to give y 'all Jared Jackson. What?

43:12Shannon Sharpe:Listen.

43:13Chad Johnson:Listen. If I'm Washington, all right, don't move on the pick, man. I don't draft the bunch of putting with Trae Young and... AD. Hell, it seems like, hey, I've seen something today. Every time you Trae Anthony Davis, you get the number one pick. Absolutely. You got the Mavericks? You got Cooper flag?

43:31Shannon Sharpe:He left New Orleans. You got Zion. Yep. You just, hey, he just, hey, cameras caught DeBonza looking less enthusiastic about Washington winning the lottery pick. Later, he said, I'm excited. I obviously wanted to be the number one pick. Working to be the number one pick, so it'll be exciting. Great opportunity. Joe, how does DeBonza, Anthony Davis, Trey Young sound in Washington?

43:52Chad Johnson:It sounds good. It's in the Eastern Conference. DeBonza is from Massachusetts, Uncle Ocho, so hell, he's back on the East Coast. He's close to home. I mean, the Wizards are due, bro, for a start. And what better way or better two veterans to have Trey Young and Anthony Davis in this prolific score at the 2-3 spot? You know, learning from these guys and them guys showing him the rope, that's kind of what Dallas wanted to do with Cooper Flagg.

44:22Shannon Sharpe:Yes.

44:22Chad Johnson:You know what I mean? And I feel like AJ is ready for the moment, meaning it'll be a 20-plus score from day one. We need Trey, Trey. They're going to need Trey Young every about 12, 13 assists. Oh, he can do that. I definitely believe he can do a double-double. What? Oh, yeah. I know he can do a double-double. I'm saying he ain't got to be 25 and 12, but he can be anywhere from 18 to 22 at night, Uncle Ocho, and 10 to 12 assists. Hopefully he can be a double-double guy. I feel like, man, that's a decent damn team, if you ask me.

44:55Shannon Sharpe:It's being reported. the Wizards would consider trading down from the number one spot per Jake Fisher. Well, Utah say, I tell you what, they say, look here, what y 'all want to do? I'm going to need your next four picks unprotected.

45:16Chad Johnson:Hey, hold on. Hold on. We just going to swap one and two and I'm going to send you an all-star caliber player with it. How about that?

45:27Shannon Sharpe:I want your next four unprotected lottery picks. Do you want him or not? I'm going to do what you call them. Hey, the Clippers and OKC. Y 'all want Paul George or not? Because I want three or four unprotected lottery picks. Now, do you want him or not? I'm about to hang up. You need to take your emotion down.

45:52Chad Johnson:You need to take your emotion down. Just listen. Just listen to me. We both at the bottom of the barrel right now, OK? But I got the number one pick. I don't know why you trying to take anything I got. I'm trying to help you. You can help me. I don't want your help. Right now, you in no position to help anybody. Huh?

46:10Shannon Sharpe:Right now, you can't help me. I got the number one pick. So you know what? I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what I do. You know what, Joe? You got any closet space over there? Hang this up. Click. You see what I did, Joe? He tried to tell me, baby, we both in a bad spot. You call me. So I'm thinking if you call me, that means you're in a worse spot than me.

46:32Chad Johnson:I'm giving you the number two pick, which is going to probably be Darren Peterson. And I'm going to give you an honor. I don't want it.

46:43Shannon Sharpe:Oh, if Darren Peterson is going to be so good, he falling right in your lap. Won't you just go ahead and take it? If you want him so much.

46:51Chad Johnson:Well, listen, we've invested so much in AJ that we got to have him in Utah. You know.

47:00Shannon Sharpe:Exactly. And that's the thing. And guess what, Ocho? I know you need it. Guess what? I'm going to get everything out. Because guess the thing is, when you make a deal in desperation, you give up more than what you should. And guess what? Utah desperate. They need it. He went to high school in Utah. He went to college in Utah.

47:27Hey, Uncle Joe, I don't really see them giving up that number one pick. Obviously, Washington's trying to improve. Why would you give up the number one pick? You already got AD. You got Trey Young. You want to change that atmosphere down in D.C.? I don't see him doing it.

47:46Chad Johnson:I don't see him doing it. I don't see them doing it either unless Utah come with something sweet they're going to have to come with a sweet deal

47:53Shannon Sharpe:I just told you I want the next three four up, hold on Joe you do realize, think about what Orlando gave up for Desmond Bain four unprotected lottery picks yeah we'll

48:10Chad Johnson:for AJ, hell yeah we'll give you that I just told you that, you said no And while I took back to my man hung up on you. We had we had we had a discussion and now coming back to the table. No, too late. That's five. That's okay. That's okay. We'll do it. Listen. And we're gonna send you and we're gonna send you an all-star caliber player with him. Who? Who you want?

48:37Shannon Sharpe:I got nobody but AD and what you call him? Trae Young. Trae Young. So what do we what do we take? what if we take that number one pick? Okay, we swap. I'm talking about Utah. Utah going to give you... Yeah, we're going to give y 'all... Y 'all want the bonzes. Y 'all want the opportunities. So I tell you what we do. Just so y 'all don't do no monkey business, we'll select him and trade him to you. You remember how they did? You remember how Jameson and Vince Carter? And they just switched to Penny Hardaway and Chris Webber. And they just changed... Hey, come here. Your cap, don't even put it on your head.

49:10Shannon Sharpe:Give him your cap. You take his cap.

49:12Chad Johnson:Yeah, Penny Hardaway, Chris Webber, same thing. Yes, yes, that's what we're going to do. Well, listen, listen. Anyway, we can get him in Utah, we're here. And, you know, hopefully we can make something happen. Because think about it.

49:27Shannon Sharpe:You got George. You like Keontae George, Joe. He can flat out score. You put him with a point guard. You got marketing. You got a triple J. Got Ace Bailey. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, man.

49:45Chad Johnson:But anyway, let's say you go down to three to Memphis. Who you go with? You going with Boozer? Comparing with Eddie?

49:51Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Yeah. I don't think you got no toy. Oh, what you gonna put it? Hold on. Is Ja there or not there? Now Ja gone. He gonna be gone. Okay. We gonna go right in though. Well, if that's the case, all things being equal, I think Acuff works better there.

50:12Chad Johnson:you think Acuff works better in Memphis? I'm going to, they got Acuff going to the Brooklyn Nets at six. I ain't going to lie. I like that spot. I know now, I know Acuff probably want to go higher. Meaning he probably wouldn't mind being a top three pick. But if I'm, I don't want to see Acuff in Memphis. I want to see him in the big city. I want to see him in Brooklyn. What about, what about Wilson? Caleb Wilson, the guy from North Carolina. Hey, he nice Joe. Chicago, number four. Yeah. They got a nine-pound squad over there. He going to fit in. He going to be a star. He going to be an all-star in this league, Uncle Ocho.

50:50So, hold on. Hold on. You got Caleb Wilson going number four?

50:53Chad Johnson:Yeah, I got him going four. So, you got the Bons are going one. Who you got going two? Peterson? Yeah. So, who three? Boozer. Boozer three. Oh, that's right. That's right. I forgot about Boozer. Hey, so where Boozer going to go? He going to go to Memphis. Nah, Joe. What you mean, nah? look they just gave up Jen Jackson so now they gonna replace there with Boone you right you right you right

51:19Shannon Sharpe:and you got Big Eady over there and don't hold on don't Memphis get Orlando's pick do they let's see I think they get because they had to give up four first round picks to get Bane

51:34Chad Johnson:that must be a later first round pick

51:45Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I think

51:51If I can be Yeah, I can't Oh,

51:59Shannon Sharpe:so at 14? What's that? Charlotte has 14 and 18. Okay, 14 and 18. So when does Memphis get Orlando picks? Memphis gets Phoenix's pick. Oh, Phoenix because they got Desmond Bain? Detroit. No, Bain was a free agent. He went to Houston as a free agent, right? Remember when, excuse me, Dylan Brooks went as a free agent So I'm trying to figure out who did they get over there

52:36Chad Johnson:Okay Okay Memphis has 3 and 16

52:44Shannon Sharpe:And the 16 is from Phoenix Okay So they can build up pretty good They get a good solid pick number 3 They get another pick at 16 Yeah

52:56Chad Johnson:They trade Ja

52:58Shannon Sharpe:They might get a solid player.

53:01Chad Johnson:Yeah, I mean, because when you think about it and you look at it, I don't really think Joss fit the coach's system, bro. You know, he came in. He kind of changed the system. He using that overseas system. Yeah. Ass cut, you know, catch and shoot. Yeah. Joss box office, bro. You know what he's going to be into the game. Hey, you know where he's going to be at, though, Joe. I hope he do go down there. Joe, he's looking for a place down here right now. So we ain't got nothing to worry about.

53:29Shannon Sharpe:Well, you know, hey, Joe, they're going to probably won't wear a title of hero. That's fine.

53:37Chad Johnson:They're going to get title of hero.

53:39Shannon Sharpe:That's fine. But my thing is, I don't understand. You felt so. You could have had James Harden.

53:44Chad Johnson:Who?

53:46Shannon Sharpe:The Heat. And they didn't want to get up off hero.

53:50Chad Johnson:You're saying they could have got James Harden win?

53:52Shannon Sharpe:A couple of years ago when he was available. But they didn't want to give up hero.

53:56Chad Johnson:I don't think they really wanted James Harden that bad. Man, can you imagine James Harden with Bam? I can't imagine James Harden in Miami.

54:11Chad Johnson:That's why I can't imagine.

54:12Shannon Sharpe:Well, you know, they got some nice adult entertainment.

54:16Chad Johnson:Hey, James liked to party, okay? Hey, listen, if he could go and use it.

54:21Shannon Sharpe:And guess what? Pat Riley going to tell him no.

54:24Chad Johnson:Yeah, he got to tell him.

54:25Shannon Sharpe:He got to tell it, no.

54:28Chad Johnson:Hey, listen. Y 'all know, man, they really got people in the clubs, bro, who let people know, hey, yeah, Bama here tonight. Just let you know, Pat. Yeah, Ralph. Yeah, yeah, we see you. Hey, that's perfect. That's exactly what my boy need. That's what my dog need coming down there from Memphis. Come on down here to Miami. We going to make sure you're all right. Because the structure and the ecosystem and the way things work, we going to always have eyes on you when you think we not even watching. That's what he need. As long as you don't think Miami is paradise and it's a damn vacation, boy, you're going to have a good...

55:01Chad Johnson:Hey, boy, you're coming here to work, boy. That's it. That's it. You're coming to work. You're coming here to work. Don't be fooled by the palm trees and the water. Nah, no, sir. Yeah, don't be fooled. You got to be putting in some work.

55:14Shannon Sharpe:Well, I'm all for it. Let's go. Anthony Davis is the key to getting a number one pick in 2019. Anthony Davis trade... Pelican trade Anthony Davis. They get the number one pick in Zion. In 2025, the Mavericks trade for Anthony Davis. Guess what? The number one pick. The Wizards trade for Anthony Davis. Guess what? Number one pick. So right now, he's three for three. Isn't that ironic? People going to say, see? See? Y 'all think y 'all slick NBA. We see what y 'all doing.

55:46Chad Johnson:Mm-hmm. Listen. You know what? They couldn't make it obvious by giving Utah the number one pick. So they just gave him a little wiggle room. Like, man, y 'all can really make some moves, and maybe y 'all can get that.

55:57Shannon Sharpe:Y 'all need to work this out. What would have been messed up if OKC got the number one pick? Oui. I'm glad they down there, too. Because think about it. The Lakers won the championship, and they got the number one pick with James Worthy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, no. Yeah, no. OKC? OKC gets fit. So they get their own pick and Philly's pick, right? No, their pick goes to Dallas. Their pick goes to Dallas. Who do they trade for Dallas? Oh, you know, the NBA, man, they be bringing five or six teams in and you get our pick in 2027 and we get your pick in 2032. So they still get a, what, you say 17? And they get the LA Clippers 12 pick.

56:42Shannon Sharpe:So they get, oh. 12 and 17. So this is the last year for the Clippers? This is the last year they get the Clippers pick. Damn. Think about how long they'll be getting Clippers first round pick. Hold on, who get the Clippers? Who get number five pick? No, the Clippers, OKC, get the Clippers number 12 pick. The Clippers get Indiana's number five pick.

57:03Chad Johnson:Oh, okay. I wish, now I wish, I ain't going to lie to you, I wish my Hawks would have got that number four pick. I'd have took four. I ain't asking for the B1 or 2. But if them Hawks could have got that number four pick and got Caleb over here. Ooh! Y 'all still would have been home. Chill, chill, chill, chill. I'm just saying.

57:27Shannon Sharpe:Damn. It's over with. Hey, they still got one more card up this lead, Joe. In 2027, OKC can pick swap. So they say, you know what? We like that pick y 'all got. Let's go ahead and swap this thing out right now.

57:48Shannon Sharpe:You see what happened? Kawhi was a blessing and a curse because you got a superstar to come to LA but you had to give up so much and he's the gift that keeps on giving. Damn. He's the gift that keeps... Everybody knows Shaq, but off camera he's just a regular guy. People never believe me when I say I'm just like them. 1:01:10Shannon Sharpe:Go give it.

1:01:15Shannon Sharpe:Daryl Morey is out as president of basketball operations for the Philadelphia 76ers. Oh, man. To keep Nick Nurse as their coach. Bob Myers, president of sports of Harris Blitzer Sports and Entertainment, will lead the search for the new executive for the Sixers and will oversee the franchise basketball department in the interim. Daryl Murray, six seasons, running the 76ers, made the playoffs five times and finished 270 and 212, but never once made it past the second round. Joe, how are you grading his tenure?

1:01:52Chad Johnson:He got there right before James got there? Well, he was there a few years before.

1:01:56Shannon Sharpe:He brought James there.

1:01:58Chad Johnson:Yeah. Yeah.

1:02:05Chad Johnson:I don't know. It's just tough. Disaster. When the process did damn work, and now you at this point, it's like, because the league getting better. Teams in the East are better. You're no longer at the top.

1:02:20Shannon Sharpe:You know why I give him an F? Because he gave Embiid an extension that he didn't have to. Embiid had two years left on his original deal. Now, wouldn't it be a lot better, Joe, if we didn't have Embiid was a free agent? Now we got him. Now we can say, hey, do we want to do this or not? You see, Ocho? Yeah. This would have been perfect. You signed a man, gave him three years, 192. The deal kicks in. They say, hold on. Why are we doing this? Why? We don't have to. We got him for two more years under the current contract that he's one of the highest paid players. It made no sense. I was like, well, hold on.

1:03:04Shannon Sharpe:Why are you doing this? Based on his injury history? You mean to tell me you got the guy already under contract for two years, but you're willing to go three years past the two years with his injury history?

1:03:24Shannon Sharpe:It didn't make sense. And then what? What did you give up to get James Harden? And you let him walk. Did he walk or did they trade James or did he walk as a free agent?

1:03:36Chad Johnson:Nah. What the hell did they do? I think they traded him. Because he ended up going to Clippers. Did they get Paul George back for him?

1:03:43Shannon Sharpe:No, Paul George came as a free agent because the Clippers wouldn't give him that fourth year.

1:03:48Chad Johnson:Absolutely right.

1:03:57Chad Johnson:Damn.

1:04:02Chad Johnson:Who?

1:04:10Shannon Sharpe:No, not Harlan. No, I'm talking about James Harden. James Harden got to Philly. How did he get to Philly? He got to.

1:04:21Shannon Sharpe:He came from the Nets, right? He came from the Nets. Yeah.

1:04:30Shannon Sharpe:Because Darryl Morey came, first of all, and a whole lot of people could have said what he said and still had a job considering how much money China spends. Yes, sir. He said what he said. The mere fact that he got another job.

1:04:51Chad Johnson:Damn.

1:04:54Chad Johnson:Damn. Hey, it's going to be some big moves made. I know that. I agree. It's going to be some big moves made this summer. Yeah, they received Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two first round picks.

1:05:08Shannon Sharpe:You're right. So you gave, yeah, that's what Philly gave up. Yeah. They gave up Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond, Seth Curry, and two first round picks. First round picks. You think you could have used them first round picks at some point in time, Joe? Absolutely. And then guess what? The guy that you gave up, he not there. So none of what you gave up is there. James Harden gone. James called you a liar. I mean, you believed in James, but for whatever reason, James said you was going to get it done. And then all of a sudden, it comes time to get that man his money, and you ain't have no money for it.

1:05:43Shannon Sharpe:Or you say you couldn't give him no money.

1:05:45Chad Johnson:He said he was a liar.

1:05:46Shannon Sharpe:You feel some type of way.

1:05:49Chad Johnson:Yeah. Damn.

1:05:53Shannon Sharpe:But I was confused, Joe. I really was, Ocho and Joe. I was confused because I had him for two more years, and I extended him knowing his injury history. Now, he had gotten me to the NBA finals. He had won a championship, Joe. I got to think long and hard, but I hadn't gotten out the second round.

1:06:12Chad Johnson:Yeah.

1:06:14Shannon Sharpe:The best shot that you had is when Kawhi hit that shot. Was he there? He might have not even been there then. I don't think he was there when Kawhi hit that shot. He wasn't there. Yeah, he hit it over here. Daryl Mawry wasn't there. You talking about Joe Allen B? No, I'm saying Daryl Mawry.

1:06:29Chad Johnson:Oh, okay.

1:06:30Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I know Joe Allen B was there because he hit the shot over him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.

1:06:40Chad Johnson:Yeah, I think that was after they gave him that right after he won that MVP? Yes. Probably just trying to make him happy. You know, let him know he has some security.

1:06:56Shannon Sharpe:You had two more years left on it. Damn, how much more security you owe? Hell. They let him know. They let him know, hell, he is it. He is the future. He is the one. Joe, you got security guarding the house with the Uzi's? Damn, what you need? Bomb sniffing dogs, too? The hell? Yeah, that's pretty much what they did. They did. And I think... I think...

1:07:33Shannon Sharpe:I'm not surprised by this move. I'll put it like that.

1:07:36Chad Johnson:Yeah.

1:07:36Shannon Sharpe:I don't really think anybody in the NBA circles are surprised by this move either.

1:07:41Chad Johnson:Hey, look, when you get to this point and the team underachieved, somebody has to go. I knew they weren't going to get rid of Nick Nurse. You can't get rid of, if you just want to keep it 100, can't get rid of Embiid, can't get rid of Paul George.

1:07:57Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, boy, look here. I think Paul George's contract might be harder to get up off of than Embiid's.

1:08:04Chad Johnson:Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So somebody else got to go. Sorry, Maury.

1:08:11Shannon Sharpe:Because guess what, though? Who gave these contracts? Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Who thought it would be a great idea, Paul George coming off an injury, to give him four years? The team that he played for all those years was unwilling. That's going to make me a little leery. It doesn't always, Joe, because maybe they're trying to hedge. But hold on, this team, they got this guy, and he's like, damn, they don't want to go to four years?

1:08:48Chad Johnson:And you're like, let me go on and jump out the window. You thinking, what, the only, I'm just trying, it's like, it's like a real crook or a thief. You try to put yourself in their shoes. I'm trying to put myself in Derrick Morris' shoes. I'm going to tell you what he was thinking. Damn, we really ain't but, like, a piece away. We get a Paul George-type guy who can score and defend. We probably could win the year we get him. So, yeah, we might have to, you know, make these numbers work a little bit. But this is a guy who we need to go get. And then you had Embiid out here vouching for him, trying to get him, recruiting him, huh?

1:09:25Chad Johnson:Yeah, hey, if you got your best player voucher, what you going to do? Yeah, your hands are tied. Let's see if we can go and make this happen.

1:09:34Shannon Sharpe:But you got to be careful with your best players recruiting.

1:09:41You do.

1:09:42Shannon Sharpe:You really have to be. Because if you look at Jerry Krause, he never listened to anything that Jordan had to say. He didn't.

1:09:50Chad Johnson:Nah. He ain't run nothing by him, neither.

1:09:53Shannon Sharpe:Nope. So you gotta be real careful. I mean, you look. You don't think so? You don't think Mr. Krause listened to Jordan? Hell no. Did you hear what he said about him at his induction? Did you hear how demeaning? You saw the documentary, how demeaning he was? Hell nah. Damn.

1:10:19Chad Johnson:Man constructed a hell of a team, though. I ain't going to lie to you. He don't get no credit. He don't get no credit. He doesn't. You know why he don't get no credit? Because he never gave them credit, the players. He never gave them credit. He said, as an organization, he always put things as an organization. Yes. Versus the product that's out there on the floor that's making you millions of dollars that's, you know. You're right. Yeah, selling out this damn arena night in and night out. Yes. We are a globe. When you see that bull sign, we're a global icon, bro. Yes. Yeah.

1:10:54Shannon Sharpe:MJ, hey. You know what it was, Joe? Because they wouldn't give him no credit. He said, you know what? I'm putting this together. Y 'all play it. I put this together. I put these pieces. I went and got Ron Harper. I went and got Dennis Rodman. I drafted Scottie Pippen. I drafted Horace Grant. I traded for this.

1:11:16Chad Johnson:Yeah.

1:11:16Shannon Sharpe:I traded Oak for Bill Cartwright. I brought in these guys.

1:11:25Shannon Sharpe:You don't realize how good you can be if you don't care who gets the credit.

1:11:30Chad Johnson:And you never know, bro. When you see these great franchises, these great teams, You never know the turmoil that's going on behind closed doors. You thinking everything, pieces and cream. Man, these folks hate each other. Dude.

1:11:44Shannon Sharpe:Red Allback wasn't running nothing about them. Red Allback doing what Red wanted to do.

1:11:53Shannon Sharpe:You're right, Joe. You're right. The same thing with the Patriots. Yeah. You think Bill Redd's done by Tom Locho? Hell no. Hey, listen, I didn't know Jerry Cross was like Bill. Now, if that's the comparison, then I understand. Yeah. Nah, Bill don't play that. But you got to. And I think the thing is, a lot of times you have to take personal feeling out of it. Because if you don't take your personal feelings out of it, you'll hang on to a player a lot longer than what you should. It makes you harder and harder to get rid of said player. Oh, he's like a son to me. Right. Coach Belichick ain't had no sons.

1:12:37Shannon Sharpe:He say, Steve, my son. If you play for the Patriots, you're not my son. I'm just being honest with you. And that's how you have to look at it. It would be hard. It would be hard because when you're around somebody, you develop relationships. That's why in certain situations like the military or in a corporation, you're not supposed to fraternize with subordinates. because if you have to fire them, it makes it hard if you build up a relationship with them, guys. It just does. Yeah. Yeah. If we got wartime and you a subordinate and I'm a hire and I'm over you. Right. Man, I don't want to send her son out there.

1:13:24Shannon Sharpe:And I don't want to do this to this lady. It clouds your judgment. Judgment. So Coach Belichick says, I'm going to treat all y 'all like crap so nobody gonna say he got a favorite. I don't. Because you know what? I'll trade or cut all of you. Rick Seymour traded him. Vince Woolfolk. Ty Law. Loyal Malloy. Rodney Harrison. Willie McGinnis. Logan Mankins. Tom. He didn't care. Yeah. But he felt, and it's hard to argue. Look, we know the cog that made everything orbit. 12. Yes. And 12 wanted to win so bad that he overlooked all that. He said, come on, guys. Yeah, we know he fought. Hold on. Not only did he overlook that, he took less to make sure he was able to construct the team around him to make sure he could win.

1:14:23Yes. I wish players understood it, though. Hey, Joe, I don't think NFL players understand. Why? They like the fact that they're playing football, right? I'm living my childhood dream, but they still don't understand the nature of the business because they always get upset when you get cut. Play long enough. Oh, yeah, you got to play long enough. You're going to have a play long enough. Yeah.

1:14:51Shannon Sharpe:It's a dirty business, boy. If you hadn't got cut, that means you hadn't played long enough. But play long enough. Oh, yeah. it's dirty business but I love it they cut Jerry Rice go back and look at some of the players that they've released they released him? play long enough if you live long enough everybody's going to probably die of cancer well he just ain't lived long enough something else got him before it did but that's the way you have That's the way you have to build. It's hard to build something to keep it going when you're so close to everybody because it clouds your judgment because you don't want to get off anybody.

1:15:43Shannon Sharpe:And Jared Krause says, I can't. I've got to make tough decisions. I just have to. Coach Belichick says, I've got to make tough decisions. And if you're my son, I don't want anything to happen to you. It's going to cloud my judgment. Right. I just say I think the biggest thing was the Embiid thing I think they're looking at it like damn we're on the hook for 192 million over the next three years

1:16:09Chad Johnson:and we don't know how much he gonna play if we don't

1:16:16change the scenery does wonders

1:16:22Shannon Sharpe:uh oh guys Joel Embiid reportedly hasn't seen eye to eye with the Sixers front office, even had an issue with the Jerry McCain trade per Tony Jones. As the season progressed, it became clear that the star center didn't see eye to eye with front office and coaching staff. In the days before the February trade deadline, he implored the front office to do something other than what he deemed ducking the luxury tax and such. He, along with others in the locker room, were not happy with the decision to trade second-year guard Jerry McCain to the Thunder, particularly without bringing in a plan to replace McCain.

1:16:54Shannon Sharpe:In interviews over the next few games, Embiid noticeably had to hold himself back from verbally criticizing the front office. On April 1st, a handful of players met with members of the Philadelphia 76ers coaching staff before a shoot-around in Washington to express concerns over certain players' participation in team activities and frustration over the direction of the 76ers. Among other things, the players expressed they felt wasn't enough control of the locker room, according to those sources. The meeting was tense enough to briefly imperil the team's shoot-around. Joe, what are we going to do from that?

1:17:36Chad Johnson:Sound like a plea to me. Sound like he, hey, hey, sound like it's going to be some furniture moving this summer. That's what I think. I think if you Philly, GP, Ocho, I think you have to weigh all your options. You have to weigh all your options. I mean, I don't know what the chemistry is like over there, but it don't seem great to me. And I'm saying from a fan's perspective, from a guy who watched the game, and I look at body language and things of that sort, it don't look like they enjoy playing with one another. I'm just keeping it real. And then, Joe, you got to understand, I don't blame the coaches because coaches can't say nothing because these dudes make so much money.

1:18:16And once they come, the coach going to get fired. They ain't going to get shipped. So what are we saying? You know, y 'all got to be accountable for yourself. And to be, you know, he ain't been playing every season. He don't play too many games every season. But when he's there, he's very effective. But listen, if that's Philly, I got two guards that are off the chain. And the young fella and Maxie, they're off the chain. I'll build right there. You've got to think about what you're going to do with George Paul. Paul George. Paul George. I'm sorry, George Paul. Paul George. And then you've got to understand, man, I would say, man, let's go get us some pieces.

1:18:58You know what I'm saying? Because they were playing well. Are you saying move off and beat? I would. That'd be my opinion to do it. Just move on, man. Make it go somewhere. I'll get nice young pieces for it. And then we can go, we can go from there. Because you don't know. It's just almost like Anthony Davis. You move on with Anthony Davis, you don't know if he's going to play every year, what you're going to get out of him. So why not go get some young players that are going to play for you every night and we have opportunity. Ocho? Yes, man. Hey, Unc, I got a question. When we talk about moving, right?

1:19:35When you think about it, y 'all three, y 'all would know better than me. you know one thing that the Lakers haven't had they haven't had much presence down down in the block right what do you think about Embiid going to LA

1:19:47Shannon Sharpe:you don't want a more expensive Anthony Davis he plays less than AD

1:19:52Chad Johnson:hold on hold on I think if you the Lakers now you gonna take a look at it him and Luka but when he on the floor though he a beast when is that when is that that's not too awful but when he do play he'll he'll he'll he'll bucket and he can get it and I think he'll have a resurgence as far as like who he wants to be as a player a new scenery he know he can't go to LA with this same type of you know attitude that he got over in Philly bro

1:20:28Shannon Sharpe:I told you aunt he said he gonna we said the same thing about 80 he gonna go there he ain't got no choice Hey, but Shannon, you shouldn't have said that about him. Because we ain't talking about that. That whatever conversation y 'all was having about that, y 'all should have left that conversation. Because listen, we talking about Embiid, who can really, really play. Now y 'all should have left that conversation long. I'm glad I wasn't on there that night, because I would have been like, cut. We ain't talking about this no more. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, I think he's slick trying to, he trying to get that comment to trying to compare goddamn Aiden and goddamn B.

1:21:08No, no, no, no, no. Absolutely not.

1:21:09Shannon Sharpe:No, I ain't no comparison. No. My thing is, is that it's hard. When a guy has played 500 games, missed 500 games, GP, how do I build around that? Hey, that's why I told Philadelphia to move on. Whoa, move on. You got two good guards there. That little rookie is a beast. And then you, you know, well, like I said, You got Paul George who is looking okay. He'll score when he needs to. And Max, he is your main focus. Just get some pieces around there. Put you a three-team team deal in there. Get you something for it. And, man, y 'all can go and rock out.

1:21:50Chad Johnson:Hey, I like Grimes and Oubre. I think you keep those guys around, too. Yeah, you keep those guys around, too. But I think Embiid still got a little value on that a team will be like, you know what? we'll take a chance. We'll risk it. Like, you know, considering hell, when he does play, you know, he's pretty decent. I just think he need to change the scenery, man. I told him that the night with Pete and Joe. I think a change of scenery will do one. Great for him. It'll be great for him. Even though he don't play, let him go change the scenery, man, and get up out of there, man. If he ain't happy, man, go somewhere else.

1:22:27Go somewhere else and do it. I think he'd be good in Miami. now GP I know Yon is coming to Miami already you say Yon is coming there yeah yeah yeah you always on that Miami boy you want Miami to have everybody we ain't had nothing in a while I know we got Bam I'm saying we ain't had nothing in a while I talked to Pat he gonna come off the ring a little bit

1:22:55Shannon Sharpe:Joe how MB gonna look in Miami with Pat Riley and his body fat

1:22:59Chad Johnson:Hold on. Shit, I'm going to ask GP. GP, you know Riles ain't going for that. Shannon, he ain't going for that. That boy coming there fat and all that, he will not play regardless. They'll make them bites, everything. They'll have them at practice two times a day. That type of shit, no way possible. Hey, GP. Hey, listen, Shannon, I was 37, 38. They had 3 % body fat. I said, man, don't tell me. He's going to kill me. Kill me, man. Hey, hey. Hey, tell him about the weight and body fat on Friday. Oh, my goodness, man. He got to pinch you. He got to put that thang on you, man. He putting them caliber - All that stuff on you.

1:23:44Man, he putting that little thing, pinch thang on you. Yeah, them calibers. If it be too much on there, you going to go get in that sauna. You doing all that. You getting suspended. You getting fine. You getting all that. I'm like, man, that's crazy. And then one time, three of us was over body fat. He put the bikes in the middle of the floor. And he had us ride that thing for an hour and 30 minutes with the leads and all that on our chest. And we was getting up pumping, man. And then we went and had practice for two hours. I said, man, this man crazy.

1:24:20Chad Johnson:Hey, Ocho, he ain't lying. Let me tell y 'all something. When I left Brooklyn and came to Miami, bro, you know, I was a little overweight. I would love a weight. Hey, look, you already got pre-practice, and then you got practice. Yeah. Hell, I was there before pre-practice on that damn bike. GP talking about? I was there an hour before pre-practice riding a bike for a whole 45 minutes. Then I go to pre-practice. Hell, UD, D-Wade, and all them, they in pre-practice. Then once we get done with pre-practice, that's when regular practice starts. Hey, man, when you leave there, your ass want to go home and lay down, bro.

1:24:57Chad Johnson:And he is four hours easily in there. And then, look, look, look, fella. We've still had a training camp where you get double tour days. You know what I'm saying? He put Cox in the locker room and said, man, y 'all might as well just go and lay down right here, man. Because y 'all ain't going to make it to get back. You know what I'm saying? That's how it was.

1:25:23Shannon Sharpe:Damn. So you said no and be no to Miami, GP. He ain't going to change his ways, man, and be accountable for the fact they ain't coming to get him. They ain't going to pay him that much money, and he don't be playing. He got three years guaranteed at$192 million. Yeah, well, they won't go. Pat wasn't going to take that. He'll be like, no, I'm off that. He won't do that. He'll go get your boy from Milwaukee before he do all that. Giannis. Giannis. He'll go get Giannis before he do that because he know Giannis going to come play.

1:25:59Chad Johnson:Yeah. Yeah.

1:26:05Shannon Sharpe:Wow. I'm trying to figure out where, so where is he going to go? He might go to LA. If he come to LA, he might as well just come to the Clippers. Just go to the Clippers. Yeah, go to the Clippers. You could put Kawhi. Kawhi. Damn, so you want two guys that don't play a whole bunch of GP. But Kawhi getting better though, Shannon. Kawhi played the most he played this year. He played almost like 60 games. Yeah, he didn't play until January. Yeah, you know how that goes. You know what I'm saying? But he's getting better. I think if they both play 60 games, they'll be cool. You do realize, you do realize, hold on.

1:26:55Shannon Sharpe:Hey, pull up, when's the last time? You know only one time he's played 68 games in his NBA career. Probably one time, yeah. He won the MVP that year. And how long have you been in the league? Probably a decade. You figure he's missed 485, 485. So that's what, 960? So at least 10 years. Ooh, see, that's crazy. That's crazy to me that you missed that man. and then you done miss more games and you done played and made all that money?

1:27:27Chad Johnson:Come on, man. Hey, then when you think about it, Embiid getting 193 over the next three years, hell, that's going to, hey, that means you're going to have to give up a lot to get him. Yeah, that's like what? That's$60 million,$65 million, almost$65 million a year. Yeah. I don't know, Philly might have to figure that one out, GP. Yeah, they're going to have to suck that one up, man, but I try to get him up out of their mind. You know what I'm saying? I would have to take him. I don't know what take him, though. Shoot, you got to go down there to Houston. They got some players that they can swap for him, the big boys.

1:28:08You know what I'm saying? They got some players that can do it. Houston got a lot of little things to go. And then you got that Sacramento team. They got a lot of little youngsters over there. but you're going to have to have a three-team trade in it. You're going to have to have three teams

1:28:22Shannon Sharpe:and it's going to be a lot of picks. So he got drafted in 2014. He's been there for 12 years. So 2014 to 2025 is 2014 to 2023 is 10 years. 24 is 11 years. His 12th year, he's going to 13. Yeah, this was his 12th year. Next year. Yeah, going to the year 13. I don't know, GP. I'll let him go, man. I would have to make a change. I'm just saying make a change. I say just come with a new. You got young stars. You got youngsters, little guards. And you know, Shannon, that's what the league is about now. Guards. It's about guards. Check this out, guys. His first two years, he didn't play at all. So 2014 to 15, 15, 16, he didn't play.

1:29:13Shannon Sharpe:The next year, he played 31 games. Then he played 63, 64, 51, 51. Then the year he won the MVP, he played 68. The next year, he played 66. Then he played 39, 19, 38. In 10 years, he's averaged 49 games a season. Damn. So he's averaging missing 33 games a year. That's 10 years he played. So the first two years, they only counted him. He didn't play at all. He did not play a single game in his first two years. So he almost missing half of the year every year. Every year. Hey, but we know what he gets. Woo-wee. It beats when he helps. Hey, that's like a year. He's a force to be reckoned with. Yeah, I know I'm supposed to get a check every month.

1:30:10Shannon Sharpe:But, hey, sometimes it comes, sometimes it don't. But when it comes, it's nice. You living your life like that? No. Hell no. And these teams ain't fit to live their life like that either. Yeah. I don't think they're going to do that. Ain't too many. 33 games a year. Think about that, Ocho. Think about if a wide receiver missed five games. Let's just say one of the top wide receivers in the league. And every year, 17 games, he missed five of them. They're going to move on. Yeah, they got to go. Like I said, I'm still on the bandwagon of trying to nuke. Get a nuke. But they ain't going to be able to move on, man, with that big contract.

1:30:50Chad Johnson:You got to.

1:30:51Shannon Sharpe:That's why you got to put a lot of – Joe, you got to put a lot of – And you got to take some of it on. Hey, you got to take some of it on, GP, don't you? Yeah. You got to take – Hey, I'll pay$50 million. I'd be willing to pay$50 million. That way I'd get up out of 142 of it.

1:31:10Chad Johnson:Yeah.

1:31:11Shannon Sharpe:I can't eat the whole thing. I wouldn't eat it. I wouldn't eat it. You done tried it out for almost 12 years. What you want to do now? He tried it for 12 years. But you know when he plays, you know what he is. Yeah, win. Hey, listen. When he plays, you know what he is because that's why he's making the money he's making and he missed all that damn time.

1:31:37Chad Johnson:Hey. Yeah, I know. it's like it's like somebody else having one of your exes being like oh she gonna be better with me that's how teams gonna look at it they'd be like oh you know what we're whipping him in some shape he'll play more games with us you know what I mean it's teams things like that of course

1:31:58Shannon Sharpe:I don't care what she was with him she ain't gonna be like that with me I be dabbed I see why old boy got up off you you seen why

1:32:15Shannon Sharpe:but think about this in 10 years one two three four he's only played at least 60 games four times in 10 years damn crazy and the boy got some game oh yeah he played we we ain't said we ain't talking about that we just They talk about him being healthy. His availability. Yeah, it's just like, buddy, y 'all, it's just like AD. He got game two. Yes. When he healthy, he a beast. But he just can't stay on the floor. AD going to give you 20, somewhere between 22 and 25. He going to give you somewhere between 10 and 12 rebounds. Going to block you two and a half, three shots a game. Yep, yep, yep.

1:33:02Chad Johnson:Hey, hey, if y 'all ask me, I think these are personal decisions that these guys are making, too. Meaning, like, you got to take care of yourself, bro, in the offseason. Like, it's the offseason here. But as a professional player, man, you got to always stay in some shape. Yeah, yeah. You can't come into camp thinking, I'm going to whip into some shape real quick. Hell no.

1:33:24Shannon Sharpe:And you know, when you got some height, you can put some pounds on easy. Easy. You do like game. Easy. Easy. So, Joe, how many games you've missed probably you think in your career?

1:33:40Chad Johnson:Bro, listen. Hold on. GP, Ocho. For over a decade, I was an Ironman. You know what I mean? Like to where I didn't miss a game. Like I really enjoyed playing the game. So I do whatever to make my body feel good or whatever sacrifices I got to make to be able to be out there on the floor. I was always willing to do that. Regardless of the circumstances or the situation I was in, whether I was the guy or one of the guys or the third, fourth, it didn't matter to me, man. I really enjoyed playing the game. So I would never cheat myself like that. So, you know, I think that was honorable in myself just by being mentioned being an Ironman, a guy who done played over countless amount of games and never missed a game.

1:34:20Chad Johnson:So, you know, I always relish that, bro. Like, I try to keep that pain up. And I tell you, it's a different mindset. I played 17 seasons and I only missed 25 games. Damn. That's all I missed. 25 games and 17 seasons. You got to enjoy playing, bro. For six years, I played 82 straight. Yeah. Joe, from 03 through 06, Joe never missed a game.

1:34:49Shannon Sharpe:and then he played 57 and then he went 82, 79 76, 72 60, 72 79, 80, 81 57, 24 78, 55 32, 23 Ball like a dog Okay Joe you Hey Joe you was a little dude back there

1:35:11Chad Johnson:Hey man the best ability is what fellas? Availability Hello Hey, yeah, Joe, I hope you're available soon, too. I'm gonna be available. Get off your ass, partner. Yeah, hey, make sure. I don't want to hit no excuses either. Don't talk to me tonight, man. I'm trying to be cool. It's 3 something in the morning. Don't play with me tonight, man. Hey, hey, hey, Joe, that's the liquor talking. You can't do nothing with me in your own. Ooh, ooh, ooh, Chad, you talking big, big money. You understand me? Hey, GP, hey, hey, GP, man, I'm finna wash that nigga, man. GP, GP, GP. JP, that man pure garbage, man.

1:35:47Pure garbage. All right, pure garbage. That man pure garbage. I watch that man every summer on this big three, boy. Can you tell me about he giving people a bug of kids? I don't think you imagine that, Chad. Hey, GP, listen, I seen him play. GP, I know all his moves. I know his mannerisms. I know what he gonna do when he going left. I know when he going right. GP, one thing about it, I got a gift, right? I got a gift for gab. And I'm gonna give him - You talking about the game, Ocho? I'm going to have him by that elbowing like with me. I'm going to make him mad. Chad, I got to see this one, man.

1:36:20Because they call him buckets. He gets straight buckets. Hey, you know what they call me? Huh? The ISO stop. Oh, you're Joe ISO? You stopping Joe ISO?

1:36:37Chad Johnson:Hey, GP. GP, I got something for his ass. Don't worry about it. I got something for his ass. Struggling to see up close? Make it visible with Viz.
