In short

NBA news and debate, including Luka Doncic’s technical-foul suspension being rescinded, the Lakers’ playoff-contender case, Steph Curry’s hypothetical Charlotte move, the NBA’s All-NBA 65-game rule and its impact on Cade Cunningham, Kevin Durant nearing Michael Jordan on the all-time scoring list, and broader discussion of player value, free throws, and potential trades (including Giannis).

Guests / hosts

The episode is a multi-host sports talk segment featuring “Uncle Ocho” (main voice), plus co-hosts “Joe” and “Ocho” (referred to as “Joe” throughout). It also includes promotional cross-mentions of other iHeart podcasts, but the NBA discussion is driven by Uncle Ocho and Joe.

Key claims

  • Luka Doncic’s 16th technical foul was rescinded, so he can play the Detroit Pistons road game.
  • The Lakers (11-1 in March; Luka/LeBron/Austin Reeves stats cited) may be contenders but not guaranteed champions.
  • Steph Curry joining the Hornets is discussed as unlikely because he’s a “one-Jersey” Warriors player.
  • Cade Cunningham may miss All-NBA due to the 65-game rule after a collapsed lung injury; this could increase contract value for other players (e.g., Jaden Duren).
  • Kevin Durant is 26 points from passing Michael Jordan for #5 all-time scoring; KD’s efficiency (52–53% shooting) is emphasized.

Notable examples

  • Durant passing MJ; LeBron and Kareem listed ahead.
  • Cade’s collapsed lung described as a chest injury from blunt force trauma.
  • Mentions of Shea/Giannis/Kawhi and All-NBA eligibility debates (games missed, “wiggle room”).
  • Giannis trade/extension scenario: owner stance implies extension or trade; execs cite age (31) and leg injuries affecting return value.

3:13Just as we predicted, the NBA has rescinded Luka Doncic's 16th technical foul, allowing him to play Monday night's road game against the Detroit Pacers. I don't think we... I mean, Detroit Pistons. I'm not Pacers. The Pistons. I don't think we... Anyone is surprised by that. The Lakers are playing too well. Luka is a super, super, superstar. The last thing you want him to do is off the court. leading the league in scoring. That's going to be a big game for them. Obviously, you know, they want the Lakers to keep winning too. Anybody that's been in Atlanta, y 'all know, if you Atlanta, you a guy, you know about the Claremont Lounge, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

3:5970? Man, some of them Ocho. They ain't got stretch marks. They got problems. Oh, man. Come on. I'm telling you, Joe, you're like, I ain't no way. What you doing now? You know, I...

4:22Man. Because you got a staple or an institution somewhere and you just got to see it. You just got to see it. I might have to pull up over the Claremont. Yeah, how many times you went there? I ain't went but like once or twice. Because one first time, you got to go the second time to make sure what you saw the first time was legit. Make sure. And I went on a different night. So you got to make sure because you know what? It might have been an old-timers night. Right, right, right. So I just had to make sure what I saw the first time like, yeah, this is what they got. Hey, but y 'all shut up, man.

5:05Man. Man. Hey, y 'all got me hype, man. You know what? After the show, I'm going to go to Booby Trap tonight. What you going to go eat? Man, you finna go, no, you finna take your ass to bed. It's 11 o 'clock. Nah, nah, nah. I'm going for real. I'm not playing. Yeah, it's too, yeah. It's, yeah. You ain't going nowhere. Hey, Joe. Somebody put the, it's on punts. It's on punts. Yeah, they got it up. Yeah.

5:31Joe, I'm telling you. I'm telling you now. No, I don't get been in no five times. I've been there twice. Lakers March, they're 11-1, 121.5. Offensive rating, 112.8 defensive rating. Luka is averaging 37 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists. Austin Reeves is averaging 21 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists. LeBron is averaging 19 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists. And the Lakers are. So what you think now, Joe, after what you've seen over the last, let's just say the last, basically last month since March, you think the Lakers are playing themselves, are playing themselves into being contenders? I don't know about like championship contenders.

6:16I think they can get out the first round depending on who they play against. But champions, that's saying a lot. That's saying a lot, man. I know they playing good. They feeling good. They looking good. but I don't know about contenders. You think they contenders?

6:40I don't know. I think they can beat everybody in the West. I don't know if they can. I don't really think they can beat San Antonio or Golden. OKC. OKC. But I've seen Luka take down OKC by himself. Him and Kyrie, I saw that. Yeah. Yeah. I saw that. OKC. So I know what Luke can do. Yeah. The question is, he's going to need Austin because Kyrie was able to have some big games. He's going to need LeBron. Yeah. Efficient. Yes. Somebody talking about, yeah, they got a couple of bullet wounds. They got some little exit wounds. Yeah, they do. Little stab marks. Somebody done put out a cigarette or something on them.

7:24It's okay. It's okay.

7:30we going. Steph Curry teased the idea of possibly joining the Charlotte Hornets after his father's Dale Jersey was retired by the franchise earlier this week. Always keep your options open. Like you said, I know what that means when you get your Jersey retired. It's immortalized. Nobody should ever be able to touch it. But I'm sure he would make an exception. He would make a special exception if that were the case. Joe? You saying if Steph Curry go to Charlotte and get his dad's jersey out of the rafters? I don't see that. They definitely be sold out every night. I know he's from now. I know that's home for him.

8:07But why? I can't see that. I'm sorry. I can't see it. I don't either. I don't see him playing anywhere but Golden State. Yeah. Steph is in an era where everybody's kind of moving around. Steph is a one-Jersey team. One-Jersey guy? I don't know about that neither, fellas. You think Steph might be able to dip? I don't know. I think it might be possible. I mean, I think the Warriors probably, if they ain't making a play in, Arkin Ocho, they ain't in the playoffs, it's like, man, don't let him go out like that. I think you can trade him, and he can still contend for a title. You put him on the right team.

8:50Oh, yeah, for sure. Yeah. Absolutely. I just think that course is kind of ran when it comes to Golden State. Yeah, they ain't getting back there. I don't see that. Nope. That's a. 9:35Hey, I'm Wilmer Valderrama. And this is Freddy Rodriguez. Welcome back to Dos Amigos. Dos Amigos Season 2, baby! This time, we're going even deeper into our careers, our lives, our art, and everything in between. Each episode emanates from our very own speakeasy where we swap stories about the moments that really shaped us on and off camera. What do we invest in right now? What is the immediate advice you give people right now? Is to value time, to be cognizant of time and how important time is. Because once the time is up, it's up and then that's it. And the relationships, collaborations, and even the failures that pushed us to grow.

10:13And the common denominator is that we have the same people with us since like 30, 40 years ago, right? Like we have a lot of the same homies that stuck around. Plus, the door always stays open for a third amigo to pull up a chair. Listen to Dos Amigos as part of the My Cultura podcast network, available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm John Green. You may know me as the author of The Fault in Our Stars, And now, I guess also as the co-host of The Away End, a brand new world soccer podcast. I'm Daniel Alarcon, a writer and journalist. And John and I have known each other since we were kids.

10:49My first World Cup was Mexico 86. I was nine years old. I watched every game and I fell in love. On our new podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup. For us, soccer... Football. is a story we've shared for over 30 years since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team. Very debatable. And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan. I love this game. I love its history, its hope, its heartbreak, and above all, its beauty. Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer is the most important.

11:27Listen to The Away End with Daniel Alarcón and John Green on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

11:38What's up? I'm Miles Turner. And I'm Brianna Stewart. And our podcast, Game Recognized Game, has never been done before. Two active players giving you a real look at our lives and what we actually think on and off the court. Nothing's off limits. We talk trade requests. What's the vibe of that when it's like your star player is like, well, I want to leave and then actually now I'm going to stay. We talk tanking. I mean, honestly, like, I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's, like, definitely happening in the WBA. And, yeah, we talk about our mistakes, too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night, man.

12:14You can't be rolling around the city like this the night before games, you know, doing this, doing whatever. And, of course, family stories. They'll be like, mommy, why did you miss that? Mommy, do you play basketball? Check out Game Recognized Game with Studian Miles on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

12:58his money on 40s and free agents. We break down every move that actually matters. From my draft evaluations, mock drafts, and team fits. To my top 101 free agents and how real rosters are built, cap space, contracts, and all the tough decisions included. You got quarterbacks on the move. We got teams rebuilding. It's hope season. Yeah, absolutely. It's hope season. We'll tell you what's real, what's noise, and what it means for your favorite team. Smart analysis, real conversations every week. I don't know about the smart, but definitely analysis. Listen to 40s and Free Agents on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

13:38Wrapped, yeah.

13:43Draymond Green said Cade Cunningham is not going to make the All-NBA team because of the dumbass 65-game rule. Dray said it doesn't fix the issue. It does not fix the issue at all. And here's a guy that's done everything ain't right. He has a collapsed lung and he's going to miss the all NBA team because this dumbass rule, the rule does not fix the issue. It's just ridiculous. So here we go again with these unintended consequences, because if you think about it, Joe, making the all NBA selection, that adds another 50,$75 million. Now Cade Cunningham is going to miss out. And you look now somebody else to step in.

14:26Somebody else will get a big old contract, Ocho. That's how it works. Yeah. Yeah. It's a it's unfortunate because you had these unforeseen injuries, bro. Yeah. I seen the injury and it's like, dang, a collapsed lung? Like, bro, this basketball, that don't happen. You know what I mean? And it's like now he going to miss out on all these other accolades because of this. It's unfortunate, bro. I ain't gonna lie to you. They put the rule in because they wanted guys to stop all of the rest. All that load management. They wanted to cut it down, but it's gonna hurt some guys who don't load manage. You know what I mean?

15:09Like Cade, unfortunately. Yeah, for sure. And you see those guys, you see what it does. It gives Shea was able to get that extra money because he's an all-NBA selection. J-Dub was an All-NBA selection. So you see these guys getting this because they wanted to reward. It's a blessing and a curse. Prior to 1980, the players selected the MVP and the All-NBA team. But they're like, man, y 'all be tripping. I don't like you, so I ain't voting for you. So they gave it to the players. They gave it to the writers. But now the writers have so much control. They get to determine who's going to get these two, three, $400 million contracts, whether you like it or not.

15:55Yeah, that's crazy. Ocho, it's been like that in football. They select the all-pro teams. They select the all-pro teams.

16:07Damn. At least the Pro Bowl is kind of divided up. You got the fan vote, you got the players vote, and then you got the coaches, general manager, whatever the case may be. so it's a three tier system but all pro it's all riders the NBA all NBA selection all defensive selection it is what it is so there is no perfect answer because if you don't think players are biased you're fooling yourself because they're human right

16:44guys vote for the pro guys voting for your bro. I'm like, bro, how you, bro, really? Really? That's why they took it out. I mean, look, I know, but I took it serious because I know, look, cause I want guys to be rewarded for their work, Ocho. And it might just be this one year that he had an out of body experience and he deserved to go to the Pro Bowl. But you want to put somebody in there that's gone, he had already gone five, six times. but he didn't deserve it this year. And so, and, yeah. And nothing they can do about that rule, huh? It's too late. They voted on it. Yeah. They voted on it.

17:29They said 65 games. That's, that's, that's, that's messed up. I mean, listen, there's 65 games for those so they don't pull load management. There should be some type of, some type of grace period for those that are actually, that are actually getting injured. Like injured for real, where it doesn't affect them the same. I mean, how did, I mean, collapsed lungs. So what did he do? Was he in a car crash? Nah. He got, didn't he get knee, Joe? Didn't he get knee? Yeah, he got knee on his side, like during the game, going for the ball. But he stayed in the game. It wasn't like, it didn't look like nothing major.

18:03But you could see him, he kept reaching like this, like you could tell you, he was saying something was wrong. And he went to the side, and they took him to the back, and he, you know,

18:17just a regular routine play, bro. It takes a tremendous force to collapse alone because that's why you got ribs there. Yeah, he need him. He need him right there in that, yeah.

18:32Hold on, let's see something. You just know. Ooh.

18:44the Razorbacks back at work later today baby whoop it yeah yeah I got you I got you Joe I got you I got you yeah

18:58well hopefully they don't have to put no run no tube down there inflate it maybe with some just rest it'll inflate back on its own damn But we've all had the aeronaut data, so. That's why you gotta be so lucky, bro, to win, man. Cause it's like everything could be going great. You could be having a hell of a season. And something like this happened, Archie Ocho. It seemed like it may be nagging too. I can't see how it wouldn't be a nag, how it wouldn't linger. It says chest injury, blunt force trauma, like a car accident or sports collisions. Penetrating trauma, gunshots, stab wounds can break ribs or puncture the lung directly.

19:44Small air blisters called bleeds can form on the top of the lungs and burst, allowing air to escape the chest cavities. This often happens without warning, particularly in a tall, thin people. So you guys are more susceptible because you're tall and thin. You know what I'm saying? Hey, you see that Joe? That come in, see Joe? All this come in handy. Ocho, what you over there doing? Hey, he said thin. He talking to you, Joe. He ain't talking to me. You ain't thin? Man, Joe, I'm air better 220 right now, Joe.

20:26Hey, you see how I'm feeling at this jacket, huh? Hey, you gotta chill. Oh, Joe, Joe, Cade missing time could potentially open the door for Jaden Duren to make an all-NBA team making him eligible for the five-year$288.8 million. Ooh. So look, look, look, look, look. See? It helps somebody help your teammate. Hey, Cade already got by what? He got by 260 already, huh? He the sign for 260. What did Cade sign for? But see, here's the thing, Joe. Joe, I'm trying to get me two more all NBA selections. So guess what? When that contract come up again, boo boo, super max again. 300. 300? Well, that's out, that, that, I ain't gonna say it's out of the picture, but you, you didn't have your homie.

21:15Yeah, five years, 269. See ya. Yeah, yeah. Five years, 269. That's just, ugh. Ooh. That's filthy. That's good work, yeah, boy. That's good work. It's filthy. It's filthy. Kevin Durant is 26 points away from passing Michael Jordan on the all-time scoring list. Obviously, LeBron James is number one at 43 ,229. Kareem is next at 38 ,387, followed by Karl Malone at 36 ,928. Kobe Bryant is number four at 33 ,643. Michael Jordan is currently in the number five spot at 32 ,292, followed by Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki, Wilt Chamberlain, James Harden should be the next player that break into the 30 ,000 club.

22:09Shaq rounds out the top 10 with 28 ,596. Hey, congrats to KD, man. Oh, yeah. That's impressive. I mean, y 'all know MJ, my idol. To be able to pass him, I'm sure that'll be a hell of a defeat for KD. I'm happy for him. He's one of the best scorers that ever played this game. Super elite, super efficient. I enjoy watching him play. They beat my Hawks tonight, Uncle Ocho. They broke our streak. No, no, no, they blew the Hawks out of Joe. They broke our streak. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They got at us, they got at us, they got at us. They made with Reed Shepard block old boy dunk, Joe. It went down here in the herd from there.

22:52Hey, Reed Shepard, hey, he can play, huh? Yeah, yeah, sure. Yeah, I like he go out there, he compete, bro. He compete, I like him. Hey, him, Gillespie from Phoenix? Yes, hey. Ballers. They getting at it. Yeah, them boys hooping. Yeah. I mean, that's a lot of points.

23:21But you know, in order to hit, in order to reach those milestones, You got to be available too, huh? Yeah. I agree, Ocho. He couldn't fly. He probably was so peed off about the two games against the Lakers, he had to take it out on the... Yeah. Because you can't fly. Normally, they'd leave you overnight in the hospital. ZK took a car service back to Detroit because when you fly, you can't fly with a collapsed lung. Yeah, you can't fly. No, no, no, no. But they normally leave you overnight and then, you know. But man, KD doing this, man, look, the efficiency in which he does it, it's crazy. It is, bro.

24:13It's a beauty to watch, though. But you guys, I mean, you guys talking about what he did in this amount of time, you gotta realize, look at the amount of shots that he took. It's shots you talking about years. I'm talking about shots Oh, Joe, if somebody thought if a quarterback throws the ball five If let's just say for the sake of argument quarterback throws the ball 50 times a game He should have the most passing yards at the end of the year, right? Absolutely You get the game. Yeah, Jordan was taking 25 26 shots a game So what do you what are you talking about? That's not the diminishing, but I'm saying y 'all try to diminish somebody because y 'all say, well, he did it in this amount of time.

24:56But even though the amount of times, look how many shots he's wrecked. Look how few shots that he had. KD's shooting 52, 53 % from the floor.

25:10Amazing. It doesn't take away any. Somebody passing an all-time great, it doesn't take away from the great that they're passing. Because he did that. Jordan got you cannot take six titles you can't take five MVPs you can't take ten scoring titles you can't take the all NBA selections and you can't take the six final MVPs but if you are a an athlete and you pass somebody that's this story right bro that's why you hear him say bro my name's gonna be in this list. Yeah, yeah. They gotta celebrate him. Yes! They gotta celebrate him, especially when you hit a milestone like that. No matter how you feel about KD, whether you don't like him personally, whether you don't like his game, top five, whatever it may be, you got to celebrate someone doing something like that.

26:06And it's okay. I'm just the the ilf of the cloth guys is that whatever I do, it does not take away from what Ozzie did, what John Mackey, what Dicka, what Big Kellen did. What Gronk has done, what Gates, what Neff Kelsey has done, Witten, that don't take away from me. I did what I did. Congratulations to those guys. I don't feel like, man, Do you feel? No. I got everything out of my career I could get. That's what my numbers were intended to be. That. So them breaking, passing me. When I left, I was number one. Hell, I don't know where I'm now. Gelsie's passed me. Witten is passed me. Gates is passed me.

26:53Gonzo is passed me. Hell, somebody else about to pass me pretty soon. That's okay. I don't feel any less because these guys are passing me about my career. and I don't think anybody should feel bad. Man, them jokers done passed me, man. What people gonna say? Huh? Yeah. Kareem, like, people didn't think nobody could get this record because Biggs, only Biggs played that long because they were the ones that didn't have to, you know, hey, go back and look at Kareem. Hey, Kareem get the rebound, kick that thing, ambled down the coat. Yeah. Give it to me, Magic. Yeah. What a skyhook. But for a guard, a guy like LeBron to have the ball that length of time and to play that long, that's why nobody thought because what you have to do.

27:47LeBron had to average 25 points a game for 20 years. For 20. People don't understand how insane that is. So when you look at Brady and look at the records, I mean, think about how long you're going to have to play. just to break his passing record, his touchdowns record. Yeah, you're going to be able to – it's going to be a – hey, they're going to 17 games, and they're going to go – eventually they're going to get to an 18 game. So, Ocho, so when you think about it, a guy played 15 years, that's basically two seasons right there of games. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. So when you look at a guy play – guy played 15, played, you know, 17 seasons, he's going to end up playing basically three more seasons.

28:36So now the numbers are going to be skewed, but it don't take away anything, guys. It doesn't. No. It doesn't. Hey, but I think LeBron is going to continue to play, guys, because he's going to put this out of reach. He does. Yeah. He may not never come out and say it, but I promise you, he won't put this out of reach. I told somebody, I think he's going to play 25 seasons. Do you really? You heard Kevin Durant. Like Kevin Durant says, if he really wants to, that's up to him. But he can play another four or five years. He can play until he's 45. Yeah, I think it's just more of the demanding on the body if you want to continue to have to go through them, you know, them tough workouts or continue to stay disciplined.

29:19And Joe, do you still want to put that time? It's easy to put that in when you're making 55 million. Do you want to put that same kind of time in when you're making a million five, two million, three million, or the minimum? Mid-level exception? Do you still wanna do that day in though, Joe? And if them endorsements right, I'm sure he will. He got that on lock. That ain't going the way. That ain't going the way. You know, he got the Nike deal. He has other stuff going on. So he's gonna have money coming in. He got a lifetime contract with Nike that's probably paying him 25, 30 million dollars a year for as long as he's breathing.

29:56Hey, and I've been seeing him in his golf bag too. Yeah, yeah, he picked that up. he picked that up I guess he's like you know what and when you hit the road he picked up a little late he probably should have got on that thing like Steph did way way early but the thing is with golf is that you gotta play it so much they really get good at it it ain't something that you can just put down and like okay I'll pick it back up in two weeks three weeks you gotta be obsessed with it it take years Joe you know it take years to get at it especially if it's not your respective craft but hey hey hey them dudes be a my homies be at the golf course bro eight hours okay out today you got to eight hours bro you got to and it it takes guys if you look at the guys that are good it got guys that don't have this you look at the guy the quarterbacks quarterbacks don't develop their shoulders you know you look at the basketball players you look at the baseball You look at the guys that don't develop their shoulders, because you gotta be fluid.

31:01I'm too tight. I'm only gonna go back and go far. You gotta be loose through here, man. You don't need no abs, you need a little gut. Yeah, yeah, it's all in the hip. Yeah, that's what you need. But man, this is amazing accomplishment, man, to see Kevin the Red. I bet you if you'd ask KD, you know, he's like his goal, I want to play in the NBA, blah, blah, blah. He's like, but when you retire, you're going to be in the top – you're going to be top five scorer. Man, what? In the history of the game? Right. And you see those great names that's up there? And you start from zero.

31:47Man, because when you first started playing the game, Uncle Ocho, You just want to show you belong, bro. You ain't thinking about, oh, man, I'm going to try to be a top 10 scorer in the NBA. Right. You just want to show you belong. And then as the journey continues, you know, you start to receive all these different accolades. And you're like, hold on. Now he in reach. He finna pass MJ? Oh, man. Come on. Yeah, he finna go crazy. It's like some things like when you just say MJ or you in a conversation with, man, you tie Wilt. Wilt? MJ? What? What? That's greatness. It's like, if you're a quarterback and you did something, you up there with Brady, you up there with Manning.

32:28Like, damn. Okay. Yeah, yeah. When somebody said Mike Evans got 11 consecutive thousand yard seasons, he tied Jerry Rice. Who? Jerry?

32:43Lord, have mercy. But KD, congratulations, bro. So, SGA says, Luka and Jokic fans don't complain about free throws when their favorite players get calls. But you'll never hear an OKC fan complain about my free throws. Y 'all never hear Denver fans complain about Jokic free throws. You'll never hear Laker fans complain about Luka free throws. It's just part of the game. SGA, you're doing something right when fans start to complain. Everybody in the history of the NBA has an arc where everyone loves and then everyone hates them. LeBron was hated, and look what he's done for the game. It's part of the game.

33:19I love it. It's stuff I dreamed about as a kid. And you're right. Absolutely right. I think the only guy – I don't think, look, we don't have – we didn't have social media, so there's no way to definitively tell. But it's hard for me to believe that Magic and Bird and Jordan was ever disliked to this level. Now, maybe in their perspective cities, Boston hated Magic Johnson. Laker fans hated Larry Bird. Knicks fans hated, hey, so we understand that. But for the totality of it, nah. Nah. And like I said, we can't defend him no Ocho because we didn't have social media. So it would have been interesting to see if we can chart it.

34:02It just so happens that now we can chart it. We can see who gets the most negative stuff on social media and it's been LeBron James like 10, 15 years running. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, when you great, bro, when you great, they coming at you, man. They coming to territory. I don't care what it is. Just like what Shea was saying about the foul thing, they talking about he be foul baiting and all that. Right. I don't think of that. I just think he knows how to manipulate the game to where he can get to what he wants. He can get his 30 points, 30 plus points a night. And he know you can't stop it. Now, he may be shooting, you know, a high rate as far as free throws, but he got plenty of games.

34:39Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So they acting like he can't average 30. 20 points a night from the free throw line. Y 'all better stop. Yeah, yeah. The man shooting 50 plus percent from the damn floor. Do you know how many guards have actually shot that well from the floor and scored 30 points? It ain't been many, bro. Okay, I'll cut it off for you. Jordan. That's it. That's it. Score 30 and shoot 50 % from the floor. Jordan. Michael, J. Jordan. Mike, MJ, whatever you want to call him Airdness That's it To score that many points And to shoot that high percentage from the damn floor Yeah Come on man You gotta have your mind made up when you come into the game every night I don't care what he doing He doing something right He gonna be back to back MVPs That speaks ball They gonna hate him even more.

35:41They gonna hate him even more. Oh yeah. But everybody has that run. You know, James Harden had that run where he was shooting a bunch of free throws. Joel Embiid had that run where he was shooting a bunch of free throws. Yeah. Yeah. That goddamn James should be killing that thing, bro. That goddamn step back joke. Hey, he had it. Hey, it be looking like he traveling, but he not. He got a lot. I'm telling you, when you're left handed, I already feel like you got an advantage anyway. They seem crafty as hell. Yeah, they are, bro. They are. The fact that James left handed, can shoot, can get by his man.

36:22He got an in-between game. He can get all the way to the bucket. When he left OKC, bro, he was thriving. It's just like Manu. Remember how crafty Manu was? Like, man, how does... Yeah. He's like Ginobili? Man. That left hand. It's something about a lefty man. Couldn't stop it. Couldn't stop it. Crazy craftiness. Oh, the Indiana Pacers would reportedly, reportedly, consider drafting Cam Boozer number one overall, knowing in the NBA that I've consulted projects any sort of dramatic fall, either Peterson or Boozer. When it comes to Boozer, in fact, there are sentiments among some rival teams that the Duke star would be Indiana's preferred.

37:40This time, we're going even deeper into our careers, our lives, our art, and everything in between. Each episode emanates from our very own speakeasy where we swap stories about the moments that really shaped us on and off camera. What do we invest in right now? What is the immediate advice you give people right now? Is to value time, to be cognizant of time and how important time is. Because once the time is up, it's up, and then that's it. And the relationships, collaborations, and even the failures that pushed us to grow. And the common denominator is that we have the same people with us since like 30, 40 years ago, right?

38:16Like we have a lot of the same homies that stuck around. Plus, the door always stays open for a third amigo to pull up a chair. Listen to Dos Amigos as part of the My Cultura podcast network, available on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm John Green. You may know me as the author of The Fault in Our Stars, and now I guess also as the co-host of The Away End, a brand new world soccer podcast. I'm Daniel Alarcon, a writer and journalist, and John and I have known each other since we were kids. My first World Cup was Mexico 86. I was nine years old, I watched every game, and I fell in love.

38:53On our new podcast, The Away End, we'll share with you the magic of international football, all leading up to the 2026 World Cup. For us, soccer... Football. ...is a story we've shared for over 30 years, since Daniel was the star player on our high school soccer team. Very debatable. And I was their most loyal and sometimes only fan. I love this game. I love its history, its hope, its heartbreak, and above all, its beauty. Together, we'll find out why, of all the unimportant things, football, soccer is the most important. Listen to The Away End with Daniel Alarcon and John Green on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

39:36I'm Daniel Jeremiah. And I'm Greg Rosenthal. And this is 40s and Free Agents. The games may be over, but the NFL never stops. This is my favorite part of the calendar. Yeah, mine too, Greg. Free agency. The Combine. The NFL Draft, Pro Days, Trades. This is where teams reshape their future. This is where Daniel Jeremiah makes his money. On 40s and free agents, we break down every move that actually matters. From my draft evaluations, mock drafts, and team fits. To my top 101 free agents and how real rosters are built, cap space, contracts, and all the tough decisions included. You got quarterbacks on the move.

40:13We got teams rebuilding. It's hope season. Yeah, absolutely. It's hope season. and we'll tell you what's real, what's noise, and what it means for your favorite team. Smart analysis, real conversations every week. I don't know about the smart, but definitely analysis. Listen to 40s and Free Agents on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

40:37What's up? I'm Miles Turner. And I'm Brianna Stewart. And our podcast, Game Recognized Game, has never been done before. Two active players giving you a real look at our lives and what we actually think on and off the court. Nothing's off limits. We talk trade requests. What's the vibe of that when it's like your star player is like, well, I want to leave and then actually now I'm going to stay. We talk tanking. I mean, honestly, like, I might get in trouble for this answer, but I think it's like definitely happening in the WBA. And yeah, we talk about our mistakes too. They pulled me to the side and was like, hey, man, we got a call last night, man.

41:13You can't be rolling around the city like this the night before games, There's no, you know, doing this, doing whatever. And of course, family stories. They'll be like, mommy, why did you miss that? Mommy, do you play basketball? Check out Game Recognized Game with Studi and Miles on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Even if the Pacers were to come away with the number one overall pick because of the potential fit alongside Pascal Siakam and newly required Ibiza Zubak. Joe? Hey, I think he would fit. I actually think Boozer would fit great with Neon. I ain't going to lie to y 'all.

41:54I just don't know if they're going to get the number one pick. But I can see him playing alongside Zubak, though. A good stretch, a good stretch four. Yeah. You know what I mean? He can shoot the three. I just don't. Post up a little bit. I just, look, I think he's phenomenal. and there's a great chance he's going to be player of the year. But I don't know if I can take him over AJ DeBaza. I just see too much upside, Joe. No, I agree. You don't see the upside with Boozer, though? You don't see the upside with Boozer? But this kid here. Yeah, man. Because he going to have the ball. 6 '9 with the ball.

42:34Shea with the ball. Luka with the ball. Cade with the ball. Ant-Man with the ball. Yeah. You see, it's different. I want to see these guys get into a situation where they can really flourish though. Yeah. You know, I want, I want, I want, I want, because I think these guys could be special. Some of these, some of this talent coming into the NBA this year, that's going to be in this year's draft. It's a special talent, man. But I don't want to, I don't want to see them honestly coming off the bench, being this spark plug, man. Let them dudes play, man. Yeah. I just think Utah praying. There are a lot of people praying in Utah right now that they get that number one pick and get DeBonza.

43:21Because if Utah get that pick, they taking AJ DeBonza. They're not taking Pizzo. Oh, no doubt about it. They're not taking Cam. They're not taking anybody. They're taking AJ DeBonza. No doubt about it. No doubt about it. I just feel like they're going to get it too. What's up? Hey, Joe, y 'all don't think, is DeBonson that much better than Peterson? I think he's better than him. I think he better, too, and I think at 6 '9", he'll buck it. Everybody keeps talking about Peterson a bucket. DeBonson's a bucket. Yeah. Yeah, and not only that, DeBonson, AJ, he just seems like he loves playing the game.

44:02Like, he really, he thoroughly enjoys it. And that goes a long way with me, Ocho. You know what I mean? I like gym rats. I'm a gym rat. I like to be in the gym, whether it's by myself, working on my game, or I like guys who like to stay in the gym. Right. Yeah. When you're dealing with that number one pick, Ocho, you know what it is. The least amount of red flags. I can't be worried. I can't. Ocho, because as a general manager of an owner, I'm going to want to turn my phone off at night. I don't want the coaches to have to tell me that he's not going to play his little Nick. I just can't worry about stuff like that because in basketball, I mean, even in football now, at the quarterback spot, Ocho, you know in three years you're going to have to make a big old contribution.

44:46You're going to have to make a big old financial commitment. In basketball, you're going to have to make a big old financial commitment. I want to be able to make that commitment with the least amount of worries as I possibly can have. Yeah. Yeah. That's just me. I think DeBonza will be the better player. I think he's the safer, and I hate safe because safe is like, oh, no, no, no, no. I'm saying he's safe, and he's really good. Yeah. All right, hey, I'm going to tell you who's probably going to go high that ain't nobody really thinking. I think, obviously, I think Darius Acuff can always improve his draft stock.

45:22I think he can creep into, like, maybe a top three pick on the Ocho. I agree with you. Yeah. But Caleb Wilson, who was at the University of North Carolina. What, he's 16? He's 16 now. We're in 16. 16, 6, 11, Uncle Ocho, he can do everything. Put it on the floor, shoot the three. He going to defend. You know he keep receipts because he told y 'all throughout the season he got receipts. And he was going at everybody who, you know, played with him. You feel what I'm saying? Yeah. So I like that about him. He going to compete. He got a lot of talent, bro. He got a lot of upside. That's why I say if you got a top seven pick in this draft, you can get a good player.

45:58Boy, it's a top eight. It's some talent in this draft, bro. But, you know, it's where you go, who you coach, yes. The veteran players in your locker room that help you. Yeah. Make a huge difference. And not be on some bull jog because they envious. Yeah.

46:31Buffs on a West. He says Giannis Antetokounmpo will be traded. If he doesn't accept an extension. Giannis is going into his last year of his contract. So one of two things will happen. Either he will be extended or he'll be traded. The likelihood that the likelihood you'll let him just kind of play it out the last year. We can't afford that. Absolutely not consistent with what they good for the organization. and that's not a Giannis issue. That's any player that's in the last year. People around the league believe the Bucs missed their window to get peak value for Giannis. An NBA exec said he's still a game changer, but he's 31 with a history of leg injuries.

47:11And now you probably would basically be traded for a guy on an expiring deal. So I'm not sure the offers they'll get this summer are going to be any better than what they already got. Man, please. It's going to be, all it takes is one team. It's going to be a couple teams lined up. Oh yeah. You can believe that. Now, I'm going to the best, I'm, Ocho, Joe, I'm getting the best deal for me. Damn what's the best deal for Giannis. Well, you got, you're going to have to, your hands are tied because at some point, you're going to have to take, you know, you're going to have to take a decent deal. I mean, you, I can't see, I can't see them I'm not favoring Giannis in this situation.

47:55I just think, I know, I know, I know. But I'm saying, what I'm saying is, they wanna get some pieces back that's gonna help them in the near future. Now, I don't know if you're gonna get the value of what Giannis brings. I mean, let's just be honest. You're gonna have to get somebody who going off potential, whether it's one of these young guys, or multiple picks, but I mean, who... I'm telling y 'all what's gonna happen. I'm telling y 'all where he's going to be when they lose. The mere fact that this owner said he either signs the extension or he's getting traded. Joe, when was the last time you heard an owner say that?

48:32Me personally, I don't know if I've ever heard an owner come out and say that. Yeah, I don't either. So that lets you know I'm getting max value. He might want to go to Miami. Not as Miami, because you know Miami don't want to give up the compensation. That's why Kevin Durant's not down there, and that's why some of the other players that's been traded available aren't down there because they try to keep all their best players and ship scraps off to the opposing team. Right. Ain't nobody going for that. This guy, it seems to me, because Giannis has been dealing them around and around and we try to kind of back them into a hole.

49:03Now, when this thing first came to light two years ago, I'd have got him up out of there. You got him gone? Yep. I wasn't winning with him. What? I wasn't going to win with Giannis. That was over. They had a very special team. They had Holiday. they had Chris Middleton prior to the injuries. Chris Middleton is not the same guy. He's not even close to the same guy. He's not the all-star that he once was. Once you started getting off those pieces, it was over. Well, the problem you're going to have, Uncle Ojo, is, okay, let's say you do have a team that you want to trade Giannis to, but he's not fond of.

49:41You think they're going to trade for Giannis on an expiring contract and they know he's going to leave and we just rent him for a few months. That's what I'm saying. So the Bucks can try to trade him to wherever, but at the same time, he's still going to have to sign an extension. Right. You know what I mean? Here's the thing. See, what he wanted, and I can see, because you know, Joe, once they trade you, you can't get that extra fifth year. Yeah. About 65, 70. Yeah. So now it goes to a five-year to a four-year. Yeah. Now, it's still good money. Don't get me wrong, because I don't want that. Man, yeah, but 275 versus 200.

50:20Yeah. 300 versus 225. Right. 75 million, that's a big difference. Yeah. 7.5 million, I don't care nothing about that. Nike going to make that up to me. I signed a couple of endorsements. 75 is a whole different ballgame. Yeah. But did you hear what he said? What? He said sign the extension. See, the extension may not be. Oh, he ain't traded. If he signed the extension, he's not getting traded. You say he's not getting traded. I don't know. What I'm saying, though, I don't think the extension is 275 or 300, though. What's the extension for Giannis? I think because he still got, what he got on his deal?

51:01He still got two years on his deal? Next year. Next year will be his last year, 27. I think they going to add to that 27 is what I'm saying.

51:11I think they're going to add to that last year. Four year, 275.

51:19He eligible for, uh, four year, 275. So you add that, that's a five, 250, 350, Joe. I don't know about you, five for 350. That's 70 a year, Joe. Yeah, yeah. That good money, right? Good money, that's an understatement. What are you getting to that? Okay, I'm just making sure we on the same page. What are you getting to that money on, huh? Yeah. With all the TV money, all that kicking in? Yeah. Going up. That's what we're going to start seeing. Dudes making 70 plus me. Oh. 70, 80.

52:01So.

52:05I just, I don't know where they can go. because when you trade superstars, you're not getting value. You're never going to get the value that you get, the player that you're giving up that you're going to get back in return. Now, hold on, hold on, hold on. Every once in a while, you'll get a Shea situation. They've got maximum value for Shea for what they gave up Paul George. Yeah. Yeah, I think OKC won that one. Yeah, I still don't understand what they were doing there, bro. Man, they ain't seen it. They ain't seen it. He wasn't doing all this, Ocho. It didn't matter if they saw it. Kawhi said, if you don't get me Paul George, I'm going to sign with the Lakers.

52:45Could you imagine being in that building as a clipper? You're already in the basement. You got LeBron, you got AD, and you got Kawhi. You got the Accu-West. I don't know what all that, the stuff that they signed and these other companies had and got him on the payroll and all this apartments. and I don't know if any of that is true. I don't care. I just know the Clippers had to accuice to everything Kawhi said or they weren't going to get him. Dang. Hey, look. So Shea was phenomenal. You can see. But Shea wouldn't be Shea if he's with the Clippers because Kawhi is going to get the ball. Yeah. That's why they got rid of Chris Paul.

53:34He has to be the ball. He needs the ball. Yeah. So you're like, well, I can't believe the Clippers. You weren't going to be able to get this out of shape because Kawhi is the headliner. It's like a comedian coming and he going after Chappelle. That ain't happening. You going in front of Chappelle. That's a good one. I like that analogy. Yeah, hey, Kawhi over there getting to it too. You think he gonna make an all NBA team? It's gonna be close. How many games has he missed? Is he eligible? I don't know. I don't know. See, I know he averaging about 27, 28 a game. Yeah, he having a career high as far as points.

54:26And they came back in overtime and beat the Maverick. I'm talking about they ain't playing no defense. Yeah. No. Darius Garland got out. Hey, I see him. He finally came out 41 and 11. Woo.

54:54I think they're gonna make the play. Kawhi had 34. He was 12 or 22. 5 or 9 from the three-point line, 5 or 5 from the free-throw line. Then you had Darius Garland. He had 41. He was 15 or 24. 8 of 12. 3 of 3.

55:15Kawhi got one game of wiggle room. If he missed one more game, right? It's a wrap, huh? He can't make it. Oh, he good. He ain't probably got but like 10, 11 games left. He got 11 games to play. He can miss one more, okay. That's why he came back. Remember he had that ankle injury, Joe. Boy can't, hey. He can't, hey, but you know Kawhi, that's normally a month injury for Kawhi. That boy came back popping that gun. Quick. Hey, he said, y 'all got me bit. Yeah, he see what's going on. All these dudes hurt, ain't gonna be eligible for nothing. Kawhi gonna mess around and be second team, all NBA. Could be.

55:54Yeah. Because it's going to be Topsy Turby who gets the first team. Because you got a lot of Luka. Cade is out now. Cade is out of the running. Oh, man. Isn't Cade going to be out of the running after he missed these two weeks? Yeah. Or if he got time to play. He couldn't miss no more than four. Because you got Cade. You got Wimby. You got Jokic. You got Shea. You got Luka. And you got Jalen Brown. him. That's six guys. He got five slots. Cade ain't going to be there because he's going to miss it. Six guys. Five slots. How you got Luka averaging down to 35 points a game and his team is number three?

56:35He going to be there. He going to be first team. Leading the league in scoring. He going to be first team. He going to be first team. This is a career high for him, man. Like 33. That's a career high for Luka. No, he averaged 34. I think he averaged 34 one year. Did he? He might be. With Dallas? Yeah. We got wiggle room, so. So how many games they play? So he's out the next two weeks.

57:12He ain't gonna make it. He ain't gonna make it. Who is this? Kade. Cause he's out two weeks. He can only miss what, four or five games? He can miss eight more games. Eight. How many games they play in the next two weeks? Eight. He better wrap that thing up and get on out there.

57:40Because Luka's averaging 33. I think Luka's career high is like 33.9, maybe 34, Joe. Hmm.

57:50That joke, that boy ballin', boy. Yeah. I'm talking about Dallas smacking him. How do you leave Jokic off? He's leading the league in assists and rebounds. You ain't gonna leave him off. And he got averaging 29 a game. Wimby. You ain't gonna leave him off. How do you leave Wimby off? Jalen Brown, he has his team in the number two slot. A large part of this without Jason Tatum. Tatum. Well, obviously, he's not leaving Shea because his team is the best, and they're on 11-game winning streak, and they have the best record. So basically it's going to come down between Cade and Luka.

58:29It's going to be a good one.

58:41Yeah. So it's going to be very, very interesting.

58:50but I can see KD playing another four or five years, though. Oh, he doesn't. Because he doesn't have a weight problem. He can shoot the ball. That's not going anywhere. Yeah. And he loves playing the game. He loves playing the game. He loves playing the game. That's what makes the biggest difference. Get them gym rats. He a gym rat. He always in the gym, always working on this craft. You got to love guys like that, bro. But that's the only way you can play that long. You can't play that long. Ain't no way you can do something for an extended period of time that you don't love. Ocho, you hear people on the regular job.

59:28They stay on the job 30 years, 40 years, 50 years. They ain't staying there just because they're getting a paycheck. Not on one job. Right. You got to love it. Yeah. To stay somewhere 30, 40, 50 years? You got to. You ain't got no choice. Man, please.

59:49Man. Hey, hey. Let's get down to nut-cutting time now, fella. Luka averaging 33.4 points a game. Damn.

1:00:05His career high is 33.9. Hmm.

1:00:13Since his rookie year, he's never averaged fewer than 27.7. So he went 21.2, 28.8, 27.7, 28.4, 32.4, 33.9, 28.1, 28.2, 33.4. Hey, they say what they want about old Luka Luka. They get it done, boy. But see, let me ask you a question. When James Harden was in Houston putting up all them points, with James Harden playing defense, Joe, you play with it. No, no, no. No. Don't nobody say anything about with Steph. Steph was winning on MVP. Steph wasn't sitting in the chair guarding nobody. All right, look. He's doing a lot better job. He's trying. He's not getting beat off the first dribble. Because once you get beat off the first dribble, Joe, you compromise.

1:01:07The entire defense is not compromised because we got to rally. Yeah. To get in front of him. And so people got to come. Kick, drop, dish off. now you're at the team's mercy hey Uncle Joe he's not getting beat off the first dribble but he getting beat off the second that's okay that's okay I think people he got the OLE defense where he don't slide them puppies no more than once but you know at the same time I think what's really glaring is that the complaining to the refs Uncle Ochoa if he don't do that I think he'd be in a much better spot. He can't help it, Joe. He can't help it. It's a part of him.

1:01:57It's a part of him, he can't help it. Once you've been doing something that long, Unk, it's hard to break them habits. Even if he makes the shot, even when he gets fouled, he's still at the free throw line complaining. I'm like, bro, If you had the free throw line, what more you won't? Yeah. Cause it don't help you bro. The rest remember that they human now. Oh yeah. They gonna get tight with that whistle. Especially depending on what you're saying too. Man what? Now he, I promise you, he's speaking all Slovenian when he talk, when he talking to the, if he, when he talking reckless, he's speaking Slovenian.

1:02:36He ain't speaking English. Hold on. Hold on. How did he get the tick to man? I didn't see how he got the tick. after the dude said something to him. Yeah, they were jawing back and forth. And I think that bitch probably told him to cut it out. He kept going. Mm-hmm.

1:02:55But everybody be wanting MVPs to be David Robinson or Kobe or Elijah Juan, Jordan, LeBron. Come on, man. Yeah. Yoki, I give prime example. Wouldn't have anybody ever said, man, Yoki played outstanding defense. He got three of them things. They finished second a couple of times. Ain't nobody... When Jokies winning, all we talking about is the triple-double. Come on now. Look, I ain't saying Luka's ever going to be... He ain't going to ever be an all-defensive player. But I tell you what, you better be able to... You better have somebody that can match his output because he going to get 30 to 40.

1:03:38Yeah. Yeah. And if he get it going early and you can't turn that faucet off, he going to get 50. He going to be in here. And you like this LeBron you been seeing? I do. I mean, sometimes it's like, damn, bro. I mean, he's bought into this role. Yeah. He's bought into this role with both feet. And it's not easy. because we've seen other great players that couldn't adapt. Yeah, yeah. We saw this with AI. He couldn't. He went to Detroit. He went to Memphis. He couldn't do it. It's hard. Think about how long you've been the guy, Joe. You've been the guy in high school. You've been the guy in college.

1:04:26You've been the guy for 15, 16 years in the NFL. I mean, NBA. Right. So you're talking about 15 years in the NBA, three, four years of high school, that's 18, 19 years, and another one, two, three years in college. And now they say, nah, bro. And for LeBron, think about it. LeBron has been the guy all his high school career and basically until last year. So for 21 years, and they say, nah, bro, now, we don't need you to go to two. Yeah. We need you to go to three. Yeah. Mm. I just, I think naturally, I think taken upon himself, I think he's really winning to this role. I don't think nobody came to him and told him that you're going to be a third option.

1:05:16I think he's kind of assessed the game in the way these dudes been playing from the start, because he missed so many games to start the season. I think he just came in and took that role because he probably like, man, I don't want to mess up the chemistry that's going on, the winning that we're doing. I'm just going to add to it. I ain't going to lie to you. I kind of like this, Bron. I do like this, Bron, obviously, when he got it going. But just 13 attempts, Ocho, I mean, it's career low. Yeah, I mean, it's career low. But you got to understand, because Luka is playing so well, because Austin Reed was playing so well, hell, LeBron might even like that.

1:05:53He might like being the third option because he is 41, because of his age, not having the ball in his hands, knowing when to assert himself in the games and when not to. shoot that that sounds like a good role to me especially at that age he definitely can play a couple of more years playing this role joe yeah he definitely could play a couple more years playing this role i could really see lebron playing 25 seasons he had two oh yeah yeah he had 23 now for sure 23 yeah i can see it too somebody want and somebody and somebody want to break, get 45 ,000 points. Oh well. Yeah, cause he gonna, he finna put, he putting that out of your misery.

1:06:35He don't even want y 'all coming into the NBA thinking you gonna catch this here. Yeah. Yeah, I agree. How many Kevin Durant points Kevin Durant has scored this year? How many total points?

1:06:48AD.

1:06:57I ain't gonna lie, I kind of wanted to see Bron and KD or Bron and Steph kind of team up. Yeah. Before they led a part of their years for at least two years.

1:07:16So, so there's a chance he might get 2 ,000. Where he at now? How many points he at now? He got 1 ,723 right now. How many games do they have left?

1:07:3410 or 11.

1:07:46They got 12 games left. So basically, if he averages what he's averaging, which is about 26, right?

1:08:0225.7. So with 12 games to go, that's about 10, 250. So he's looking at about 300 points, about 305. So that'll give him 2 ,000. If LeBron doesn't play another game and he plays another five years, he's probably still going to be about 1 ,000 points short. So if LeBron plays another year, another two years, KD's going to have to play another seven years. KD's in year what? Year 19? Year 18. I mean, he's 19 season, but because he missed a year for that thing, it's only like 18 on his body. Mm. So I think KD has the most realistic chance. You think he got a chance of catching? I do.

1:09:02That's going to be a tall task, huh? Oh, it is now. Yes.

1:09:14But that's at the current pace. He's got to play the same number of games. He got to keep this average up. That's the thing. So how many games he played this year? 70? 60? No, he ain't played 70. He ain't played all of them.

1:09:32He's played in 67 games. So if he played the last 12, he going to play in 79.

1:09:44He going to play race too tight. Can't sit out. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. He can't afford to lose any game. He can't afford to lose any game. Armin Thompson saves Kevin Durant historic night. Armin Thompson hit the game winning put back for the Rockets. At the same night, KD passed Michael Jordan on the all-time scoring list. The Rockets beat the Heat 123-122. After the game, KD saved with a smile. Four more to go. Four more what to go? Who are you going to pass next, Kobe?

1:10:22Woo, he got to play a long time to pass. He needs about 260 games to get to Kareem. 260, that's playing 80 games for the next three years. Who the next person he about to pass? Kobe, isn't it? I think Kobe. Yeah.

1:10:45Kobe probably got like 33 ,000. Who the boy? The boy is shooting that rock, boy. Man, legend. It's LeBron, Kareem, Karl Malone. Kobe. Kobe. Now KD. Yeah. I mean, KD got 32 ,000. He's 11 ,000 behind LeBron. Yeah, he ain't catching LeBron. That's an amazing feat, boy. Well deserved. Man, you see Maugham Thompson had 18 rebounds? Yeah, that's a lot of that rebound for a guard. Man. Hey, ball bouncing right to him. 24, 18, and four. Ball bouncing right to him, Maugham. Ree Sheppard had 23 and 14 assists. Damn. Man, who they played? Miami. Miami? Hey, why y 'all bull jibing? Ever since Bam had the 83, Bam been playing out his damn mind.

1:11:44Ain't it, man. Ain't it? Badman 32 and 20. Yeah. They haven't been doing his thing. Hey, hey. I got Miami making some real change this summer though. There we go. Talk your talk, Joe. Yes, we are. I got them making some real change. It's good that the hero playing well, because I think he's going to be a part of it. Yeah. As long as you know. I remember I told you first. Huh? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I got to get it. Y 'all need another game change over there, Ocho. I ain't going to even say who, but y 'all need another game change. Hey, Joe, I know what you're thinking, and I already said it for you.

1:12:22OK. Huh? OK. You hear me? OK. Stay with me now. Yeah. I got you. Yeah. What's up, man? Look here. Man, hey, hey, hey, hey. Bam been playing some ball, man. Ever since, hey, Asia done came into his life. Hey, he been trying to keep up, huh? He, he, he, hey. Hey, hey, hey. Well, he ain't going to catch you as far as accolades. He can forget that. Yeah. Hey, that ship does sail. He can forget that. Hey. You talking about, hey, she, hey, when she does, I think she got the great case right now to be the go, the women's basketball player. Yeah, yeah. He ain't got no chance of catching her with all those MVPs, finals MVPs, defensive player of the year, a national champion, college player of the year.

1:13:10Yeah, that's over. Yeah. Hey, hey, hey, I can see in the near future, like in the next some odd months, it's strange. I can see Bam getting engaged. I can see him getting married. I can see it. I see it. I can see it too, yeah. I see it. Man, they're a great couple, man. There's nothing not to like about them. Right. I agree. There ain't nothing to like about them. Bam don't bother nobody. He go out there and play hard. If you follow this story, grew up in North Carolina in a single trailer home, he'll see it here and his mom, blah, all that. And in Asia, we know, hey, boom. Big man look here.

1:13:45And she is, I've seen her play, like I said, I mean, watching her play on television, don't do her justice. Shh. Don't do her justice, cause she plays both ends of the court. Yeah, she's nice. Well, they gonna, hey, they gonna have a LeBron. What? They gonna have a, ooh. She goes, hold on, hold on, baby. Hey, you know I'm on a Supermax contract now, 1.4 a year. Let's hold on, baby. I ain't be 30 yet. We got time. Right, right. How old is Asia? She ain't 30 yet? I think she might be 39, but I think she about 28, 29.

1:14:24Yeah, I'm happy for them, bro. Yeah, Bam been out of control, boy, since he threw up that 83. When she'll be 30? This year? August, yeah. Yeah, she'll be 30 in August. Oh, okay. Yeah, she's like, hey, hey, hey, Bam, hold on, bro, hold on, bro. But oh, that kid gonna be seven foot tall. Man. Ballin', ballin'. Yeah, she's six foot, Bam, what, six ten? Shh, hey, look, and if the mama that tall, boy, please. You're going to have you a monster in your hand, boy. Yeah. If it's a girl, hey, they're going to have a combination of Juju, Maya Moore. Shit. Damn. Man, they got, hey, but I like that. They seem, man, they seem genuinely, genuinely happy.

1:15:26I agree. I agree. I agree. I can just imagine. I can just imagine. I mean, look at how she talks about him. Mm-hmm. Look at how he talks about her. Yeah. Yeah. And they're so supportive. She's there. Boom. She's getting all these awards when she's winning her MVP or she had a statue and things like that. He's there. The Olympics. He's watching them. She's watching him. Oh, man. Yeah.
