In short
The episode is a heated NBA Playoffs discussion plus two tangents: a USA Today all-time player list argument and Draymond Green’s comments about offense. Guests/backgrounds: “Unc” (host) and “Joe Ocho” (co-host) debate; no other named guests appear.
Key claims
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar should be higher than #5 on USA Today’s top 25 list; they argue Kareem belongs above Kobe and Steph, and that the list is “bulljive” for omitting Akeem Olajuwon. They also defend Tim Duncan’s lack of respect. They praise Kareem’s skyhook as the most unstoppable shot, citing his six MVPs, six championships, and elite career production. Draymond Green is discussed as a non-scorer whose defense, IQ, and “dirty work” enabled four Warriors titles; Steve Kerr is blamed (by Draymond) for limiting his offensive development.
Notable examples
Kareem’s skyhook range; Draymond’s Game 7 Finals stat line (32-15-9); Spurs’ series-clinching win over Portland (114-95) with multiple scorers and 55% shooting.

3:48Shannon Sharpe:Joe Ocho, USA Today, listed their top 25 greatest basketball players of all time. And here's the order. Michael Jordan is in the number one spot. LeBron was two. Kobe was three. Steph was four. Excuse me. Kareem was five. Magic is six. Larry Bird is seven. Bill Russell is eight. Wilt Chamberlain is nine. Shaquille O 'Neal is ten. And then we go Tim Duncan, Kevin Durant, Allen Iverson, Oscar Robinson, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Julius Irving, Moses Malone, Kevin Garnett, Charles Barkley, Carl Malone, David Robinson, Isaiah Thomas, John Havlicek, George Mikan. The top 10 Michael Jordan LeBron James Kobe Bryant Steph Curry Kareem Magic Bird Russell Chamberlain O 'Neal What you like What you like What you dislike I don't know if I can really dispute any of that I mean Because if you If you take something Who you If you're putting somebody else in, who the hell are you taking out?
5:03Shannon Sharpe:Kareem ain't the fifth greatest player to ever play in the NBA. He's just not. Not with six NBA championships. Not with six MVPs. Not with the second all-time lead scorer. Not with the second most points, the third most rebounds. Ain't no way in hell. Oh, you say he need to be up higher. Hell yeah. Well, who are you taking out? I'm putting him in front of Kobe and Steph. Yeah.
5:30You know, they don't show the big man a lot of love, for real.
5:36Shannon Sharpe:All he has, Joe, was the most unstoppable shot ever created in basketball. That's all I know. Six MVPs. Do you believe there'll be another player to win six MVPs? Six MVPs. How many LeBron won? Three, four? Four. Four in a five-year span. Jordan got five. Russell has five. LeBron and Chamberlain both have four. Larry Bird has three. Magic Johnson has three. It's going to be hell against six, boy. Boy, that's what he has. Six. Six MVPs, six championships, two finals MVPs, the third most rebounds, and the second most points. Why you think he don't get the respect? Why you think you don't get that respect?
6:29Shannon Sharpe:Because Kareem was Kareem was ornery. He was a surly. And say his name for me. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Okay. That was not his God-given name. He spoke out against things at a time when that was very, very unpopular. Right. Kareem ain't play.
6:53Yeah. Kareem with Ali.
6:55Shannon Sharpe:At the Southern Cleveland. and I think that was 67. There you go. Here go Jordan. Here, take this. He done called it through the screen. Yeah, man, he done called whatever Ocho got. No, you ain't doing nothing.
7:16Shannon Sharpe:Hold on.
7:21Shannon Sharpe:This list is bulljive. Without Akeem Olajuwon, I'm throwing the whole list away. I don't even want to discuss it no more. You been to tell me they ain't got Akeem Olajuwon on this list? Oh, yeah, they tripping. Akeem Olajuwon ain't on the list.
7:40Man, I'll keep rocks.
7:42Shannon Sharpe:Who came up with the list? USA Today? Let me make sure. Maybe I missed something. Ain't no way I'm taking David Robinson over Akeem Olajuwon. Ain't nobody taking David Robinson over Akeem Olajuwon. I'm not so sure fans in San Antonio taking David Robinson over Akeem Olajuwon. The dream? Come on now. Y 'all doing too much. Yeah, I don't know how much. You're getting the reaction that you wanted. Y 'all wanted to rage. Y 'all wanted to get some click makes, and you did it. I get it. That is some bull jive. Ain't no way David Robinson better than Akeem. No. Ain't no way. He was a hell of a talent.
8:23Shannon Sharpe:Yes. We're not debating that. Hell no. Damn. Hell, just to be on the list is a... Achieving in itself. You know what I'm talking about? Yes, sir.
8:41Shannon Sharpe:I'm going to tell you a guy that don't get no damn credit. Who? Tim Duncan. Big fundamental. Tim Duncan don't get no credit, guys. That's because they say his game was boring. I know. I don't either. He was a baller. He got it done, bro. Ever since he joined the Spurs, they probably never even missed the playoffs, maybe once, because he was hurt. I don't know if they missed it then. Yeah, he turned their franchise around. Yeah, yeah. I'm talking about from a rookie. Yes. Yeah. He's a three-time finals MVP, a two-time league MVP. How many times All NBA How many times All defensive Yeah I don't know where it helps He He's He's 11 best
9:3915 time All NBA 15 time All defensive 15 time
9:43Shannon Sharpe:All NBA 15 time All defensive team He did What he did He did three years in college Came out as junior year No he came out He stayed the whole time The senior, oh, yeah, that's rough. That ain't going to happen no more. Kenyon Martin, he and Kenyon Martin are the last guys to be seniors and go number one overall. Kenyon was the last one, and I think Kenyon did it in 2000. Wow. You ain't getting that no more. Ain't no damn way. They ain't got Elijah one on the list. They got Tim Duncan. Let me go. They're getting me mad. They're getting me mad. I love I love I love Carl Malone I love all them guys them they ain't they ain't better than a lot you want hey that's that's what the list is there for it's to piss you off it is cause I saw a list hold on they got the greatest songwriters I think the New York Times did you see the list about the New York Times they ain't got no Stevie Wonder you know what I ain't finna get upset y 'all ain't finna make me send my soul to hell but y 'all love some bull jives
10:59Shannon Sharpe:A Kentucky man says, Giants kicker, Youngway Koo The Koo is the easy part. It's that H.O. Have saved his life after Koo botched a field goal against the Patriots. Thoroughbred trainer Mark Toothaker says he laughed so hard at the myth that he triggered a violent seizure, which sent him to the hospital. A CT scan then revealed a tennis ball sized tumor on his brain. Doctors removed him. Toothaker reportedly has no long term damage. He says Koo missed was a miracle because the seizure could have happened while he was driving or somewhere much more dangerous. That's crazy. That's a crazy story, especially for the fact that they found the seizure based on someone's mistake.
11:57Someone's missing you laughing at somebody. Oh, hey, that's that's that's crazy work. And young ho cool. Hey, we were butchering his name. Young Wade.
12:11Shannon Sharpe:See, you see how high it is Young Wade. Oh, Young Wade? Okay. Hold on. So the man was laughing so hard that he, what, passed out or something? Yeah, it triggered a violent seizure. So he ended up having a seizure. They take him to the hospital. A CT scan revealed he's got a tennis ball-sized tumor on his brain. Ooh. Damn. That's a good thing. that ain't nothing but a blessing that word damn young boy he saved a man's life he saved a man's life old Jojo yeah he did he probably called some Falcons fans so they damn life though missed all those damn field goals that's why they got rid of him damn that's why they got rid of him that's why they got rid of him in Atlanta Atlanta.
13:07Shannon Sharpe:But to go back, Joe, ain't no way. Ain't no way Kareem can't get past three. Kareem can't get past three. He can't. You got a good, valid point. You're right. Oh, Joe, he can't. I mean, no. Look, everybody knows that I think LeBron is the goal. And I think I've been very clear on this. I think the three greatest players ever was Kareem, Jordan, and LeBron. People go back and forth. Ain't no way Kareem is the fifth greatest player of all time. Not with all those awards. So what are you saying? He went to ten finals. He won six. He got six MVPs. He got finals MVPs. He's led the league in scoring.
13:56Shannon Sharpe:He's led the league in rebounding. He's a 19-time NBA All-Star. He's probably, how many times did Kareem make All-NBA? See, I think the thing is, Joe, if we didn't see said player 15-time All-NBA, how many times All-Defensive? Damn. 11 times. If we don't see a player, Joe and Ocho, it's kind of like rappers. If you didn't hear KRS-One, if you didn't hear Rock Hill, if you didn't hear those guys, you didn't hear Big Daddy Kane, It is hard for you to put them in place of guys that you currently hear. Absolutely. He's a two-time scoring champ, two-time block champ. How many times re-time? Four-time block champ.
14:40Shannon Sharpe:How many times rebound the champ? Oh. Damn. You got to realize, Kareem had season 31 and 17, 32 and 13. The whole season? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. He's a bad boy now. You can make the case. If you combine his high school, college, and NBA, he's the greatest player in the history of basketball, and it's not close. Nobody is close when you compare high school, college, and NBA. It's not close. Talking about from a winning standpoint. He lost two games in college. Yeah. Yeah, from a winning standpoint, you're right. It ain't close. It ain't close. He's a three-time champ. Freshman could not play when he came in.
15:30Shannon Sharpe:He's a three-time NCAA champ. He's a three-time player of the year. He's a three-time most outstanding player. He's a six-time NBA champ. He's a six-time MVP. He's a two-time finals MVP, a 15-time All-NBA, a 11-time All-Defensive. Damn. What an unstoppable move. The most unstoppable move ever created in basketball. Tell me somebody got a move. I like Jordan fadeaway. I like dirt one legged. I like Kevin Durant. I like LeBron turnaround. I like dream. King dream shake, but ain't nothing. There's no basketball shot ever created that can touch the sky hook. And you know how I know how many, when dirt did the one leg step back, everybody do the one leg step back.
16:20Shannon Sharpe:You don't just do it. Durant does it to turn around the dream shake. Everybody does it. Elvin Hayes was the first one to do the turnaround. Dreamshake for faking it. LeBron does it. Everybody. Tell me how many players you've seen throw the sky hook with regularity. And he wasn't throwing it from three to five feet. He was throwing it from 15 to 18. Hell, Magic, his teammate was throwing it. And they call it the baby sky hook. Yeah, yeah.
16:47And you think Wimmy can get to that sky hook?
16:51Shannon Sharpe:Man, he's going to throw that ball over the damn top of the back. It's so damn tall.
17:00Yeah, he might be the only person who can get to that sky hook real tall.
17:05Shannon Sharpe:But I think the thing is, though, Joe, with any move, you got to practice it. And it doesn't look anything. I mean, people like, oh, the granny shot and all that other stuff. Rick Brad shot the percentage. Look at what Rick Brad shot from the free throw line shooting the granny shot. Damn. We like stuff that look good, Joe. If it look good, we'll do it. If it don't look good, I can't mess with it. That's why the players continue to get more skilled each and every era. You get more skill, more skill. And it's okay. Yeah. Yeah. And I'm okay with that, Joe. It's hard for eras to understand. The players are getting better.
17:46Shannon Sharpe:They know more. Yeah. They know more. They take, they're able to take, it's kind of like medicine. So you think the doctors in the 50s are more skilled than what they are today? No, because the doctors know more. Yeah. They got better equipment. They got better medicine. Yeah. But only players in the era don't feel like the players can supersede what they did. Everybody else understand. Medicine is better. Every technology is better. You think the technology that they had in the 30s, 40s, and 50s, and 60s Is comparable to what they had in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and currently now? No, son No, you wouldn't think that Nah But I don't know why players refuse to give that up They call evolution Yeah Yeah Yeah
18:45Shannon Sharpe:yeah this is what I said y 'all did what y 'all wanted to do
18:52Shannon Sharpe:yep to get us they come out when they come out with the 50 greatest rappers or the 50 greatest r &b singers or the 50 greatest bands or the 50 greatest whatever yeah but I gotta throw you a curveball, Ocho, because if we get it close to right, you're not going to talk about it. Yeah, you can't. I need you to talk about it. It's got to start a debate. Yes! You got to throw a little controversy. Throw a little monkey wrench in there. Yeah. They ain't even got Keem Olajuwon on this thing.
19:23They ain't even got... Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
19:24Shannon Sharpe:They ain't even on the list, Joe! And they got Bill Russell on that? Yeah, they got Bill Russell in the... Bill Russell is eight.

22:24Shannon Sharpe:This is how she does. If I mention a place, oh yeah, oh yeah. I went there the other night.
22:34Shannon Sharpe:I showed these arrests. If you get your ass in the bed and stop going to try food at one o 'clock in the morning, you can get some rest.
22:44Shannon Sharpe:But no, this is a bull giant. And we didn't get to the 50 greatest top songwriters or we'll do that tomorrow or rappers. But they got some bulljye there too. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Yeah. It's all meant to start a little controversy. They did it. They starting it.
23:09Shannon Sharpe:Draymond Green believes he could have made more of an offensive mark on his individual level if Steve Kerr didn't prevent him from doing so. As much as he's done for me basketball, a part of me thinks he's hindered me in my career and what I could have become. But what he's also helped me become, like you got to take the good with the bad, man. You know, when I think of who I am offensively as a player and who I became, I think part of that is due to him. I don't hold that against him. I'm forever grateful. And that still put me in position to be successful. And that's why I could become Draymond Green, despite of my offensive role on the team.
23:47I think. Hold on. Hey, Uncle Joe, is he saying he could have been. More of an offensive weapon, yes. More of an offensive weapon?
23:55Shannon Sharpe:He believes he could have still been the same defensive player, but more of an offensive player if Steve Kerr would have encouraged it or put him in a situation where he can't succeed. Now, we do remember, Joe, that game seven in the NBA finals, he was a assist short of a triple double. He had 32-15-9 if I'm not mistaken. He did. He did. I think when Draymond came to Golden State Uncle Ocho, you know he was coming off the bench early. He wasn't starting. Yes, Mark Jackson had it. If I'm not mistaken, Mark Jackson had it coming off the bench. Yeah, he had him coming off the bench. I think Bogie was starting.
24:36He had somebody else at the board. Yeah.
24:38Shannon Sharpe:And remember, they also had Fester Cezili. Yeah, yeah. And I think Bogie got hurt. When Bogie got hurt, I think that's when Draymond started. But I think he knew what that team needed. Draymond did. You know, his energy, his effort. You got Klay and Steph who's shooting the blood out the ball. Man, if I can play the point forward to where I can push this rock. and, you know, yeah, if they ain't guarding me, I can hand off to Steph, get Steph shots, get Klay shots. Hell, we're going to be a pretty good damn team if I play great defense. Yeah. Oh, you know who it was starting? You remember David Lee, the guy that got from the Knicks.
25:22Yeah, David Lee. That's what happened, David Lee.
25:24Shannon Sharpe:And he was tremendous. David Lee was awesome. Yes. Yeah. People don't know how good David Lee was. As a matter of fact, I just saw him in Vegas about a year ago. He married Caroline Wozniacki, the great Dane, the tennis player. As a matter of fact, I saw them and Michael Phelps and his wife. Go ahead, Joe. Yeah, he went to Florida about 6 '9". Lefty. Lefty. Yeah, I played in an all-star game with him. So he could play. But they got two totally different games. David Lee and Draymond Green. David Lee got an offensive game. Draymond Green got a defensive game. There you go. Draymond Green got a defensive game, Uncle Ocho, but he has great IQ.
26:09He has great intellect, you know, on where the ball should go and how to play. You know, I think that's very underrated when people speak on Draymond. I think he is very intelligent. He's a very intelligent player. Yes, he understands the game. Despite not being a hell of a scorer, a hell of a shooter, yeah, he can make a shot. And occasionally he'll have some breakout games. but I thought his role was needed for the Warriors. Hell, they won four championships.
26:36Shannon Sharpe:I'm trying to figure out, so what did he expect to be? But you know what, Scottie Pippen said that with Jordan, I could have been this. And Scottie, when Jordan retired, Scottie was the all-star game MVP. He averaged like 22. But I believe Scottie Pippen was more of an offensive threat than Draymond is. oh yeah yeah no question no question and so i just and and and as i was reading what draymond was saying i kind of understand but i'm like well damn it's like bro what could it be what could it be though uncle joe let's say if stephan clay wasn't there what type of offers of presence would draymond provide not going to the hall of fame draymond is not on the international he's not on the United States men's team.
27:24Shannon Sharpe:That's not happening. Right. If he didn't have Steph and Clay. Yeah, I mean, the two arguably, well, not arguably, Steph the greatest shooter ever, but Clay here standing right next to him. Yeah. I mean. They're the greatest two shooters that's ever been assembled on one team. And it's not close. Yeah. And those runs that the Warriors were making when they were winning titles, bro, you got to look at Draymond Green's role on that team, the way he played defensively, the way he pushed the rock when he got the rebound, the way he play make and played defense. Bro, every team needs somebody like that.
28:02You just don't get a guy like that because we call that dirty work. Everybody don't want to do the dirty work. The dirty work, yeah. You know what I mean? Like, you got to really want it. You got to really want to be successful and really put your stamp on the game. You got to be a little different, bro, to play like that. So I commend him on his four titles. I don't know if he wanted to be a 20. Come on, man. I don't know if he wanted to be a... Yeah.
28:27Shannon Sharpe:I just don't know. I just don't... Me, personally, I don't know. I don't know. I don't think if he's not on that team, I'm not so sure he makes an all-star team. Listen, listen. If he ain't on the team, hell, the Warriors will have trouble winning them damn titles. They were winning. Right. Yeah. His role was needed. But for him, here's the thing. but to look outside and say you know what to do this but they didn't need you to score so now you got Klay, Steph and KD so now if you think you're a scorer you bring KD how did that work it worked because everybody understood their role KD doesn't have to play make, Draymond you're going to be able to play make and occasionally Steph Steph, you're going to do what you – hey, you're going to get a lot of picks, just keep running.
29:22Shannon Sharpe:We're going to run you off these picks. And when we absolutely need a basket, we got a seven-foot guy that we can turn his back to the basket. We dump it down there to him, and you better not bring a double team because Steph is in one corner and Klay is in the other. Yeah, yeah. And I like how he mastered his role, meaning, damn, they ain't going to even guard me if I'm standing at this three. But guess what? As soon as I catch the ball, I'm going right to a dribble handoff. And you come off of me, you're going to be wide open because my man way in the day is pain. Yes, man. You feel me? He's mastered that, Uncle Ojo, which I think took them to another level, meaning as they kept continuing making it to the finals and winning titles, like, he mastered his role to the T, bro.
30:06I don't know what else he was expecting and looking for, but he had a hell of a career. Hell, he's going to be a hard one. I'll tell you what.
30:13Shannon Sharpe:When Steph Curry wasn't in the lineup and Klay was gone, how did Draymond look, y 'all? pedestrian yeah see we lose sight of that when steph curry's not in the lineup how does draymond look and draymond's fabulous like you said joe he's going to the hall of fame and deservedly so yeah he's a two-time unlimited champ he's a defensive player of the year he's an all nba defensive player he's an all nba player there's no denying what he's been able to do but take a look when steph curry isn't in the lineup what a draymond that's his opportunity let me show you what I can do, Ocho. Yeah. When, when, hold on.
30:51How's he supposed to, how's he supposed to sum it up something he'd never been given the opportunity to do?
30:55Shannon Sharpe:That's your opportunity because you ain't got somebody that can go get 30. So that's your opportunity to show. You're a wide receiver. You're a backup. You're the number two, number three. If number one goes down, this is Ocho's opportunity to show y 'all need to give me some refs. Even when one comes back, I will need my touches. Look at 10 Shannon tonight for Minnesota, Ocho. Hey, but listen. See, you got to say Shannon wasn't getting the opportunity. But his role was always defensively. His role was always facilitating for Klay and goddamn Steph. When they were out, Ocho. So what had to take place for Shannon to get his opportunity?
31:38Shannon Sharpe:Ant-Man had to go out. DeSomo had to be out. So Harry's had Raybond's opportunity when Steph is hurt because Steph has missed a lot of time. That's his opportunity. Okay, now is my time to shine. Yeah. He should have just took over. That ain't his game. He can't do something. That ain't his game, bro. That's like you said. You know what? I'm going to go play tight end. That ain't what you do.
32:06Get his ass steamrolled trying to play tight end. Nah, you're going to get steamrolled, boy. Hey, little ass can't block nothing. You going to get steam, bro.
32:17Shannon Sharpe:We all look. We all look back on Joe. You probably thinking, man, if I didn't have TJ, they'd have gave me more balls. Let me get another 50. Like those targets that they gave Hoosh, let me get 50 of those. Now I'm averaging 110, 115 catches a season. We can all play this. Joe's like, man, if I'd have went to somewhere like Atlanta and I could have started my first four years, man, look at my numbers. I already scored 20 ,000. Now I'm a starter, not coming off the bench. I might have 25, 26 ,000. We all do that. It's just human nature. Hey, when Dre was at Michigan State, was he a scorer? No. Nah.
33:01I think he probably what? He probably asked about 12 points a game. Okay.
33:07Shannon Sharpe:The only guy, really the only guy that you saw that I didn't see this becoming was Anthony Davis. Yeah. Anthony Davis was a defensive player. Yeah. What? Yes. Anthony Davis averaged like 12, 14 points. But he probably averaged about six blocks. He did. And another night, probably like 10 rebounds. Yes. Yeah, yeah. And then he gets to the league and you're like, what the hell? How you averaging 27, 28, and 12? Hey, every night. Yeah. Hey, hey, because you get to polish that game you got when you get to the pros because, hell, guess what? All your job is to do is come to this gym, get them damn shots up, work on your game.
33:52Hey, hey, if anything else is more important than that, then we got problems. Period, point blank. That's why they draft cats on potential. Yes. You know, okay, boom. Okay, potentially, damn, if he could develop a 15-footer, if he could develop the three, I mean, he going to be a hell of a player. But right now, he can't hit Nathaniel. Yeah, so that's part of development, bro. When you get to the pros, they're going to get it out you. Okay, Ocho, y 'all know it.
34:20Shannon Sharpe:In Draymond's senior season at Michigan State, he averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds. He was an All-American. For his career, though, he averaged 10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists. He did four years? Yes. Yeah. I mean, hell, them definitely hell of a stats you're seeing in years 16 and 10. Yeah. But did he get drafted second round? That's why his opportunity came a little later. But, hell, hey, it's a prime example, bro. You give a man an opportunity, hey, you never know what can happen from there, bro. But what he was looking to be wasn't what Golden State needed. Golden State needed janitors and cashiers They didn't need bank presidents They didn't need bank managers They didn't need CFOs and COOs Sometimes we try to create a role That they're not hiring And then what?
35:25Shannon Sharpe:That's what people need to understand What are they hiring? Man, I'm qualified But that's not what they're hiring So when you don't get the job or it doesn't work out, you get mad. They told you what they were looking for. Right. But that's not the job that you wanted to interview for. They tell you to say, man, look here, we need a line cook. We need a line cook. They told you what they needed, a line cook. Right. Can I work the register? No, we don't need the cashier. We don't need nobody on the register. I told you we need a line cook. or we need servers or we need greeters. Hey, look, my rookie year, I played for the, I got drafted by the Boston Celtics playing with Paul Pierce and Antoine Walker.
36:18Paul, second, he was second in scoring in the NBA, third in scoring that year. Antoine Walker was at like 22, 24 a night. Yeah. Okay, Ocho, I knew damn well my offensive opportunity was going to come far few in between. Yes, sir. But guess what? Guess what? When he threw me out there on that damn court, I was hustling. I was in the passing lane. This before all this ISO stuff people talking about. Yeah. Hey, I was balls to the wall. You hear me? I'm talking about playing the best defense I possibly can because the one thing is when I was playing, I never wanted Coach to have an excuse to take me off the court, bro.
36:54You know what I mean? Damn, we need some defense. I got him, Coach. Don't worry about it. Who you want me to get? I got him. I was guarding point guards, two guards, small foes, powerful. I'm telling you, bro, you have to find your niche, and you have to find a way to stick when you get to the pros. Because guess what? When you get to the pros, we all probably was great scores. But, hell, when you get there, man, it's going to be a pecking order. It's already going to be a guy to hell who already pretty damn good who scored a ball. They ain't going to really need that from you. Right. Now, what else can you bring to make us complete as a team?
37:31you have to figure that out because the answers ain't going to be right there, you know, off dump. You know what I'm saying? You're going to have to figure it out as the game goes. And I was looking, I was like, damn, it's some nights, okay, Ocho, I was getting four shots a night. I'm like, damn, I'm playing 30 minutes. Then it be other nights I may get 12 shots. And I ain't never trip off that. Hey, look, I was living the American dream, something I dreamed about as a kid, and I got an opportunity. I'm going to be out here playing some hell of a defense. I tell you this.
38:02Shannon Sharpe:And eventually, when you show him what you can do, JSN, he came in. What did they do, Ocho? Lock it. Gone. Trade DK. Yeah. And them opportunities, boy. All you got to do is show. And so that's what you got to do. Guys get injured. Hey, them guys got injured. Man, let me show what I can do. I know I can. Hey, I ain't saying I'm the best tight end of the league in my second or third year, but I tell you what. Yeah. I'm better than what we got. I know that for certain. Let me show you. Now, guess what? Now they started moving on for some of them better receivers. Now I'm really going to get an opportunity.
38:39Shannon Sharpe:Because Selvin told me. He's been working with me for three years. All the rest of you guys, you coming in, already got a step above you. I'm already in his good graces. He know one or two things. It's going to be a catch or it's going to be an incompletion. Or I'm going to knock hell out of somebody because he ain't going to intercept it. So... Hey, I'm with you on that. That's what a lot of these young cats got to understand, bro. We don't know when your opportunity going to come. It may come mid-season. Hell, it may come for me. It came like the fourth game of the season because somebody, Eric Williams, got hurt.
39:12So I got thrust into the starting lineup. Okay, Ocho. Yo. I never came out that damn starting lineup once I got in there. You hear me? I developed some value for myself. That's why they traded my ass. You hear me? Yeah, I'm just keeping real. Like, you know, when you're a youngster, you don't really know why. You know, especially when you're in your rookie year. I'm like, damn, why they trading? I'm playing great. We the number two team in the East. The Celtics haven't made the playoffs since shit. Four, five, six years. Yeah. They got a little value. You know, they don't believe in rookies like that, so let's go get some veteran help.
39:46They want to got Tony Dell, Rodney Rogers. You know what I mean? Sent me to Phoenix. So when that opportunity presents itself, you got to take advantage of it, bro.
39:54Shannon Sharpe:Prime example, look at Dennis Rodman. Man, Dennis Rodman probably had like five points a game, but that motherfucker averaged 15 rebounds a game. He carved out a niche for himself on that side of the ball. Look, I know it's glamorous to put the ball in the basket. I know it's just like our offense, Ocho. Everybody want to throw the ball, catch the ball, and score the touchdown. Touchdowns, yeah. But there's a role for you on the other side of the ball. Man, listen, and if you do it at a high level, like you say, Dennis Rodman, that man every five points still had his own shoe. Yes. Yeah. He probably was as popular as anybody in the league.
40:31Man, he was on the boards. Hell, he's probably damn near as popular as Michael Jordan.
40:34Shannon Sharpe:Sports Illustrated, doing WWE, Royal Rumble, all that. WrestleMania, all that, Ocho. Dating the baddest. What? Madonna, Carmel. Dating the baddest women. Ain't some games the man have 25, 26 rebounds, no points. Not even a shot attempt. Hey, but guess what? He doing it at a high level. That's all you got to do. And that's what you got to do. Think we're the bad boy Pistons. They had, Isaiah was scoring, Dumars, but hey, everybody else, Sal, Lambeer, Mahorn, Rodman.
41:19That's it. Whatever your role, I'm going to do the best job I can
41:23Shannon Sharpe:in the role that I currently in. That's all I can do. Eventually, I'm going to do enough. I promise you, if Draymond would have shown them that he could be a 17-point a game score and still play that level of defense, I believe they would have done that because that only helps them. Yeah. Yeah, I think for Draymond, if he was just a little better shooter, his numbers would be a lot better. But for the most part, bro, I hope he don't beat himself up behind all this because, man, you got some cats who ain't never even seen the finals. He done made a quarter of a billion. I hope he don't beat himself up.
42:06Shannon Sharpe:Four rings, two Olympics rings. Man, you don't. D-P-O-Y. He going to have his number retired in Golden State. Come on, man. How many times did they go to the finals? I know they won four. Come on, man. What we talking about? And Joe, you, Steph, and Klay, y 'all locked. What? Y 'all together. Forever. Yeah, hell, they probably going to put a statue on all three, y 'all. It's just like the Yankees with Posada, Andy Pettit, Derek Jeter, and Mo Rivera. The big four. They together. Yeah. I mean, Mo Rivera probably said, man, I could have been a starter. You're just the greatest closer of all time.
42:52right right
42:57Shannon Sharpe:but uh Draymond you had a hella career bro like Joe said don't beat yourself up about it don't even worry about it you got a great family when you're in Silicon Valley you get an opportunity to meet because think about what you've been able to put yourself in because you've won you've got to get in on some great upstarts made a ton of money Draymond might have made more money You look at Steve Young and all them guys out there in San Francisco that get on these tech companies and get in on Uber and get in on Google, get in from the ground floor, and next thing you know, oh, you're in on 20x, 50x their money.
43:31Money, yeah. Big time.
43:37Shannon Sharpe:Guys, the Spurs beat the Blazers 114-95 to close out this series in a gentleman's suite. The Spurs' first playoff wins in nine seasons. They take on the winner of the Nugget Timberwolves. They got up to this big lead. Portland would not go away. I think they cut it down to like nine, maybe ten points. But that was as close as they could get as the Spurs pull away and fashioned it win by 19 points. Joe, what did you like about what you saw from the Spurs? Because they came with the game with a singular focus. They jumped on them right away and really didn't look back until late in the ballgame they made that run.
44:14Shannon Sharpe:But the Spurs and their head coach have to be very, very pleased with what he saw from his team tonight. Yeah, I think they did what they were supposed to, Ocho. You know, considering the fact that, you know, they want to go and get this series over with, man. They played great on the road, was able to come, was able to get two victories on the road, being down double figures on the road and being able to pull those games out. So you come back home 3-1, man, you want to get these guys out the way to alleviate injuries and get you a little rest and prepare for the next series. So I thought it was great.
44:47I think they attack you in waves, bro. They, like, even to start the game, Basel started the game, him and Chad Penny started the game so hot. It's like, damn, if those guys get going, Uncle Ocho, you're going to have hell because I don't know how you're going to turn out with Wimby and Fox and Castle and Harper. You know what I mean? They just got so many guys who can attack. They play the right way. They're very unselfish, and they're all playmakers, bro. You got on the perimeter, you got three guys who can break the defense down at any point in time, Fox, Castle, Harper. You can't stay in front of them.
45:21They can go get theirs, and they can create for the big fella and everybody else around them. I think they just have a complete team who is dangerous, not only offensively, but defensively. They bring it every night, bro. They bring it every night. Joe, you said something very interesting,
45:36Shannon Sharpe:that they do come at you in waves and a five-point lead, and the next thing you know, before the opposing team can call a timeout, you're down 14. Man. It was just five and nine's 14. And if you're not careful, that 14 goes to 21, and you got to call another timeout. Yeah. Man, you watch De 'Aaron Fox. When he calls for that pick and roll, and he get that big on him? Yeah. Bro, you might as well go ahead and drop coverage. Just go stand up under the rim. Yeah. Because you're not finna stay in front of him. No, son. Because he's about to hit you with that handset, that head fake handset. Ha-ha.
46:05Shannon Sharpe:right to the rim he goes and Klinger like I don't know what y 'all want me to do y 'all really thought I was going to stay in front of him yeah with zero chance but like you said you look they had six guys in double figure Harper comes off the bench goes six of nine he has 17 points six guys in double figure they shoot they shoot 55 % from the floor you let a team shoot 55 % from the floor you're probably going to lose every time Every time. They're probably going to lose. And look, the thing that kept Portland in the game is that they turned the ball over. They got a little careless with the basketball.
46:44Shannon Sharpe:But this is a very good team.
46:49Shannon Sharpe:And Jokic, you remember Jokic and Wimby, they've kind of been battling. You know, the two countrymen, Gobert and Wimby. And Wimby said, look, here's a passing of the torch. You know, we changing. We changing this thing. We changing. Ocho, what did you like about what you saw from San Antonio? Man, I really enjoyed it. The thing about them in this series, even though it was a gentleman's sweep, every time they played each night, they did play the Blazers, it was always somebody different. If it wasn't Castle, it was Vassal. If it wasn't Vassal, it was Fox. If it wasn't Fox, it was Wemby. So what it reminds me of, and I'm going to use football terminology for those that don't know because I don't know the basketball game the way you guys do, it might be the goddamn greatest show on turf where you had to play the goddamn Rams.
47:29every time they had a game joke boy it was it was by committee it was always somebody different it was oz akeem or the eyes of bruce or was marshall faulk or hell it was tory holt but either way they got they got the job done every single time in a different way throughout the entire i mean throughout the season obviously you know where they played in the same way it reminded me of that uh i don't i don't have a comparison in basketball terms because i don't have a knowledge of the game the way you guys do but i mean i enjoyed it i think the spurs are a legit contender to get to the finals. The only team I see with the type of depth, not only offensively, but having the bench to deal with them would probably be, what's Young Bulldom?
48:11OKC. OKC. That's about it. Because it's so, hey, Joe, what do you do when you don't know who to stop? You don't know who to stop, Joe. And if you do stop one person, here you got four other killers on your head. Hey, it's tough, Uncle Ocho. I think the great thing about the Spurs, when you look at it, man, Fox don't have to be amazing every night. Nope. But when it comes to down the stretch, Uncle Ocho, hey, man, that boy step up every time. You know what I mean? It's kind of like he flows through the game. Yeah, some nights he's going to have 27, 30. But for the most part, in the fourth quarter, that's when he's going to do his damage.
48:51Because these dudes come out so hot, and everybody get the free flow, and he's just kind of controlling the game, Uncle Ocho. He's just making sure he keeps everybody involved, and he knows his time's going to come. He's a veteran guy, veteran presence. You need that, bro, especially a guy at the helm running the point guard, making sure everybody's in the right spots. And then in them clutch moments in the fourth quarter, under six minutes, under five minutes, he's going to deliver, bro. He's been doing it this whole series, being clutch in the fourth quarter, making big shots, making big plays when needed.
49:23He ain't just scoring. He out there fighting defensively too. I think that's the separator of the Spurs. Everybody defends, bro. I know Wimby, he a hell of a backdrop back there, but for the most part, them guys on the perimeter, they defending. But if you get by them, I don't know how you plan on scoring the ball.
49:44Shannon Sharpe:If you go back and look at it when Portland made that run, when they came out of the timeout, who did they put the ball in his hands? Fox. Fox, yeah. Fox, yeah. He pick and roll, pick and roll, pick and roll. He doing his thing. Now, Vassal, the first time, Vassal came out and he came out to pick and he did a pick, and he ended up getting like a free throw line jumper. Yeah. And after that, Fox had the ball, called for the pick and roll, got the big, got the matchup that he wanted, and boom, right by him he went. Because – But I like the fact, look, they're like, Castle, you got to learn on the job.
50:20Shannon Sharpe:I can't take the ball out of your hands every time. I got to get you used to handling situations like this. because what happens if they take Fox away? What if they put their best defender on Fox? And we need you, when you have an advantage, to take advantage of it. So I like the fact, but I also like the fact that Castle, Castle Guard, yeah, he's going to pick up fouls, but he plays his ass off. He defends everybody. Don't give a damn if you're the point guard, the two, the three, the four. He got down there and tried to bang with clinging. He doesn't care. I love that about him. But like I said, when you look at these guys, six of nine, Wimby only shot the ball seven times.
50:57Shannon Sharpe:Eight of 14, four of 11, six of 11. Man. Hey, think about it. Castle, not only does he defend Ocho, but he got a little nastiness in him too. Oh, yeah. He don't play no games now. Hey, Joe, you can tell. Remember you got them back-to-back fouls? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, I thought Cope was going to take him out the game. You need that, bro. You need guys. You know, he ain't shying away from no challenge, no contact, no nothing. And then to speak to Fox and Wimby and the pick and roll. Yeah. Man, that pick and roll is so hard to stop with them two for a number of reasons. First off, you don't want to switch because you know Wimby automatically going to have a mismatch.
51:38So that's why they, I mean, yeah, that's why they switching. And you end up getting them five men guarding the point guard. Hell, he ain't got a chance. He ain't got a chance, bro, because they breaking them down. It's going to be a blow-by, either a layup or a spray-out of the three or a lob. They got too many guys, and they hit you in so many ways, bro. And then Wimby, he's just so special. I'm talking about defensively, the way he fly swatting shots up out of there. Man, it'll make anybody second-guess about going up in that paint.
52:08Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, you ain't finna throw my thing up and get me on. I get on SportsCenter, you threw my shot up in the third row. Normally, it's a dunk or, you know, I made somebody touch earth. Now you putting me on SportsCenter, he fly swatting. of my shot. And I think the thing is that if you look at it, you don't have no choice. If you're big, if you don't show, all you're going to do is give him a wide open three. There are times that Castle was shooting shoot-around threes. Wasn't nobody in the vicinity because the big didn't want to come out and have Wimby do the lob when he comes downhill. So you go ahead and take that.
52:43Shannon Sharpe:Castle, Vassel, Vassell, all those guys, they're going to have shots. because of Wimby. Yeah. Because Wimby can shoot, but the last thing I want him to do is get that switch, and then he beats the guy, and he comes downhill, and he lobs it, and then there go Wimby dunking it on somebody's head, getting the crowd into it. Yeah. And you know what else they done showed you too, also Uncle Joe? What's that? When Wimby's not playing, they still able to function offensively, even in on defense. You know? Okay, we don't have that presence. We don't have that presence in the paint. Offensively, they still doing the same thing.
53:19It's by committee. You just don't know whose night it's going to be. When he's not in it, they showed us he could do that. They showed that during the regular season too.
53:27Shannon Sharpe:Cornette's been giving some good minutes to you, Joe. I mean, he don't play much. I mean, he had 13 minutes. He gave him five points. He's perfect from the floor, perfect from the free throw line, three rebounds, three assists. That's all you need. You don't need him to try to match Wimby numbers. Hey, just play solid defense just in case he gets in foul trouble. Be able to knock down, be able to, hey, roll to the basket and get alive, get a layup. Hey, defend just a little bit. We don't expect you to be Wimby. Yeah. But you are seven foot tall, so block some shots. Make them, because Wimby, hey, they throw, they missing the whole damn goal.
53:57Shannon Sharpe:They see Wimby up there. Hey, listen. Nah, I don't need, nah. All they need from Cornette is energy and effort. That's it. That's it. You bring that. But to speak on Portland, man, they won a couple games in this series. I mean, they won one game. Yeah. And I think those first two games in San Antonio, I think what they can take from, what Portland can take from that is they got to find a way for Scoot to be consistent. Because, you know, these past couple games, he ain't really gave them nothing. They ain't have a chance to help. I bet the game they won, wasn't it? The game they won, he had 27?
54:33Yeah, I think the first game he had like 25. The second game he had like 30. I think the first two games, you know, he was balling out. I was thinking like, man, if he going to play like this, because he's the one guy who has that youth on his side, youth and athleticism on his side, and who can attack in the open court and make plays. He just kind of, I don't know, when they got back to Portland, he just wasn't the same.
54:59Shannon Sharpe:But here's the thing, though, Joe. The problem is he only plays 17 minutes. Everybody else, I mean, you play the same number of minutes as backup guys. He's not going to be able to, you got to let him have some run. Look, Kamara had 33 minutes And Denny had 32 minutes Klingon had 27 Holiday had 40 You give a start All those guys played at least 27 minutes to start a lineup He got 17 So he's probably looking around like, damn Now, what's going to happen next year when Dame comes back? That's what I want to know They got some decisions to make You can't care What you're going to do I mean, you'd like to keep Holiday Because he's a veteran presence He can defend, play both ends of the court I I Hey Hey Uncle Joe Let's say When Dame does Come back next year Joe you say They have some Decisions to make Yeah Based on what you saw This series The decisions Shouldn't be that hard Well It shouldn't be that hard Because you see When it's nut cutting time Who you can depend on Who can score Yeah but You don't want to Start the growth Of some of these Young cats Like School Henderson You know what I mean Like if you send them To the bench If you send them To the bench Uncle O with your damn.
56:13I ain't saying he...
56:14Shannon Sharpe:Just go ahead and move him. That's all I'm saying. Like, but, you know, at the same time, he the youngest out of Dame and Holiday. So, I don't know if, is Holiday on the contract? Is he a free agent? I think they, they might have, they might have gave Holiday an extension. Look and see if they gave Holiday an extension. Plus the fact, Sheldon Sharp, what they gonna do with him? He gave six minutes, Joel. He can't do anything with that. And he, I remember in the middle of the season, he was playing well. Man, they was featuring him in their offense, man. It don't even make sense to me. I'm like, how does man go from not even playing?
56:46He can't even get no clock. He don't even look like the same player when he is out there. Oh, Shaden Sharp. Shaden Sharp. Yeah. I don't know, man. I don't know. I thought that Portland liked him. I didn't do. He's been a non-factor. You ain't really noticed him in this series. Nope.
57:06Shannon Sharpe:He played six minutes tonight. Like, I mean, think about it, Joe. He had five points in six minutes. Now, I don't know if he's not playing defense. I don't know what's going on. But it's going to be a similar situation where you're going to have to treat it like Philly did with Jerry McCain. Remember, Jerry McCain was playing really well. He broke his ankle. He didn't play the rest of the year. They draft B.J. Edskum. And guess what? They said, nah, we ain't got no more room for you, bro. Instead of just have him sit on the bench and come off the bench, trade him, they traded him to OKC, a reliable and valuable backup because you know now with Edgecombe and Maxie, you just gave Maxie Max deal, he ain't gonna get no real minutes.
57:46Shannon Sharpe:Nope. So if that's the case, you might as well do something very similar with school. Yeah, you're gonna have to. The only thing is you got two veteran guards that's in like their mid-30s meaning Dame and Holiday. I don't know if you want to get rid of them though. That youth and athleticism that he has they got to hope that he can find some way to be consistent throughout the season and maybe still be the future. I don't know if you get rid of him because you're going to be relying on two mid-30-0s and you know how that can go. Dame is coming off an injury, coming off an Achilles injury. Now, the difference is he didn't rush back.
58:27Shannon Sharpe:He had plenty of time to recover. He should be good. Let's hope he's good. Let's hope he can get back because if he can get back to – I mean, I'm watching Jason Tatum, and hell, if you didn't know, you wouldn't know Jason Tatum had that injury. Nah. You wouldn't know Kevin Durant had that injury. Nah. So if Dame can come back and be Dame, they're going to be a dangerous team. Yeah, you know. When Dame was at his apex, I mean, coming out of the West, considering what OKC is now currently, considering what you see what the San Antonio Spurs are currently, if Denver could stay healthy, what they are currently, The T-Wolves are always dangerous because Ant-Man is just going to be hard.
59:08Shannon Sharpe:But I just don't know, you know. Denny is amazing. He's been an all-star, Holiday. They got to make some decisions. Look, the team is being sold. Yeah. This is what we know with the team is being sold. But they got some decisions to make. And it seems like the owners are already doing cost-cutting moves. They got to check out by 12 because they don't want to get charged for an extra day. They didn't get playoff T-shirts. So they've already making – so it looks like to me, Joe, they've already started the cost saving. Yeah, but I don't understand that, though. I don't know why they owner would do such a thing, bro, why he would act like that.
59:46Like, you don't get no playoff shirts, bro. This is, like, this is the best part of the season, okay, Ocho?
59:51Shannon Sharpe:Yes. You going there, you got that thing black – And you checking out the hotel, Joe. Huh? You got to check out by 12 because we don't get charged for extra day. The first bus ain't until 3 o 'clock. You mean we got what? Go on over to the stadium. Get your locker. Get your headphones on. Get right. Hey, Joe, it's the reason they billionaires, bro. Hold on, though. Hold on, though. What are these guys coming from who buying the team or who own the team right now? They own the Hurricanes. Tom Dunning? The Carolina Hurricanes? Yeah. Yeah, hockey team. Man, see, it's, you know, different sports do different business, bro.
1:00:28Yeah, hey, they straight business mind, Joe. straight business. Man, come on, man. Not about owning... Listen, owning the sports team is a hobby for them. I get all that, Ocho, but you can't be making guys check out, bro, the first bus ain't until 3 o 'clock. What we about to do, sit in the lobby? Yeah, sit in the lobby, hold your back. Come on, man. Come on, come on. What they doing there at? You better ask for a late check out. You got to. Hey, that's funny. Man, this day all be changed.
1:00:57Shannon Sharpe:It's tough, you know. That's a part of... Paul Allen, the former Paul, rested soul. He owned the Trailblazers and he owned the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are being sold. They believe they're going to fetch somewhere north of$7,$8, maybe even$9 billion. That was in his estate, his planning. Like, look, I want them sold, X, Y, and Z, and I think they're going to donate the money to charity. What do you mean? It ain't going to go to his kids? Ain't nothing going to go to his kids? I don't think he had kids. He put his sister in charge And that was His request I don't think Paul Allen had kids No it goes to charity That man bought his paper No he's going to charity Wow all of it That's crazy Yeah I mean he was Very very philanthropic so uh but yeah but the the the Portland's got to make because they got they got look Denny you can build around Denny school yeah I like school I like Klingon he's a big he ain't Wimby here yoke it but he's a but hell who are who is nobody but I like Shane Sharp I like him because I've seen flashes from him that lets me know if he gets consistent minutes, he can be good.
1:02:29Shannon Sharpe:Maybe it's a confidence thing. I don't know.
1:02:34Maybe because before this thing hopped on, because early in the season, he was playing a lot of minutes.
1:02:42Shannon Sharpe:He was getting 25, 30 minutes, Joe. I think when the Denny Cats started picking up his plate, Arcan Ocho, you know, he was an all-star this year. because they basically pretty much play the same position. I think this is who they're going with. And I think the sharp kid, I think that was Chauncey. I think that was his – I think that was one of his guys. Yeah, I think that was one of his guys that, you know, he enjoyed – he tried to feature. I don't necessarily think Splinter was, you know, really messing with him like that. I mean, hell, it was obvious. He wasn't giving him no clock. But these Thibault still in the league?
1:03:18Yeah, that's what I said. He came in there and got him some minutes.
1:03:23Shannon Sharpe:Too many. Play 15. One of six. He got too many minutes. That's the problem. He got 15 minutes. One of six. 0 of five from three. Bro, hey. You know what I want to know? What's that?
1:03:41Is who the Spurs going to have next and what's going to be a great matchup for them between Denver and Minnesota. T-Wolves. Denver and T-Wolves. Hey, you think about it, Uncle Joe? Regardless of who they get, whether it's the Wolves or whether it's the Nuggets, neither one got enough firepower to deal with them boys. You don't think so? No, Joe. I think I want to see Denver. I ain't going to lie. I want to see Denver, too. But Denver is a two-headed monster. It's a two-headed monster. That's the only thing.
1:04:15Shannon Sharpe:I don't want to see Minnesota without Ant-Man. Ant-Man going for a couple of weeks. By the time Ant-Man get back, hell, it'll be down 3-0. That's why I say I want to see Denver because Denver pretty much full of strength besides maybe, you know, the Pat Watson kid. But outside of that, you know, they full of strength. And I think Wimby, you know, he'll probably play some decent defense against Jokic. Oh, yeah, he played great defense against Jokic. Because you see Jokic struggling against Rudy. and he has better lateral movement than Rudy. Yeah. And he's taller than Rudy. He gave Wimby 40, though, by the last couple games of the season.
1:04:51He gave that boy 40 before the playoffs started, though. So I don't know. We don't know how they can go.
1:04:58Shannon Sharpe:Let's go back and look at the three games because I think Wimby got the best of them. The last game, now, where they really had to have it, yeah, Jokic gave them, but Wimby was giving them that work. Yeah. Wimby put it on them a couple times, Joe. No, no, no, no. Listen, Jokic ain't going to be able to do nothing with them defensively. now. He ain't going to be able to do nothing with him. He can't contest his shot, hell. He can't out-rebound him. He ain't going to be able to do nothing defensively. He just got to attack him offensively and make him work. I think if you any team and you playing against the Spurs, bro, you have to be extra physical with Wimby.
1:05:28I'm saying to beat him because you let him roam around that paint freely and not get chugged, not get hit. Boy, he going to be a bad weapon. Hey, Joe, you neutralized Wimby, What? You still got to deal with Fox. Yeah. You beat your last Fox in Wimby. Now you got to deal with Vassal.
1:05:50Shannon Sharpe:Damn. Hey, Joe. What's up? Get your hands out. Let me give you a little squeeze. Whatever. What that is? I don't know what that man there got. Ocho? Yeah, that yo that he got. Ooh. Whatever. I don't know what it is. What you mean? I just know I don't want it. You all right, bro? Oh, I just got a little cold. I'm a little old. Let me get a little cold. You ain't been, hey, you ain't been getting no rest, have you? Nah, I ain't had a chance to get no rest the past four days. I think. Hey, hey, hey, let me tell you something. Yeah. If you don't get no rest, your body going to make you rest, partner.
1:06:23Yeah, it made me rest yesterday. Yeah, you going to have to get some rest, hey, your immune system. That what y 'all call it? Okay. What you thinking?
1:06:32Shannon Sharpe:Oh, you thinking? What? Hey, Unc, you trying to be fine. Hey, Unc. Nah, nah, nah. Hold on, hold on. Hey, Joe, we be talking about, man, I ain't heard about no bull head. He ain't never heard of it. He ain't never heard of it. See? Hey, so we going to take the comic, we going to take the comic hole and turn it into something else, huh? Boy, you live in Miami. Joe, how that man got a call in Miami that's 80 degrees every day? Because everybody know I sleep with my AC on 60 degrees. I don't know what you do. All I know is one moment you walking straight, you walking great. I mean, everything great you talking to.
1:07:10Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Joe. And here we are today. Now look at it. Hey, Joe. What's up? Hey, he jealous of my voice, Joe. That's all it is. Nah, nah, nah. Hey, this is that Quiet Storm radio host voice right now. All right. I ain't jealous of whatever you got. I don't want it. Hey, it's just a little sore throat. I got my, what's this called? Yeah, I got my NyQuil, severe colon. You took something already? Yeah, just one little drop. NyQuil gonna put you out. You gonna make it? Oh, yeah, I'm gonna make it. Oh, yeah, but when it's time to work, Joe, why I'm Joe. Hey, either the night quill or what he got to put him out.
1:07:44Shannon Sharpe:One or the other. One or the two. Hey, hey, hey, Joe. Honestly. Whoa, no, man, come on, old Joe. My bad, my bad, my bad. What a spray, man, what a spray. My bad. Hey, you know what, I appreciate y 'all bearing with me and doing these difficult times. Bearing? Come on, man.
