In short

“Best of NFL News Part 1” recap/analysis of major offseason trades: Browns trading Myles Garrett to the Rams; OBJ returning to the Giants; and A.J. Brown traded to the Patriots. The hosts frame it as “Super Bowl or bust” for the Rams.

Guests

No named podcast guests appear in the provided transcript. The episode is a multi-host discussion featuring “Uncle Joe” and “Ocho” (plus “Joe” and “Ocho” speaking roles).

Guest backgrounds (as stated in transcript): Not applicable—no external guests are introduced.

Key claims

  • Browns’ trade is justified because Cleveland is finishing last and can’t win despite Garrett’s elite production; they “start over” and protect cap flexibility.
  • Rams are “exponentially better” because Garrett (23 sacks mentioned) will feast playing from ahead against pass-heavy opponents.
  • Rams’ move signals “Super Bowl or bus” and they’re built with proven commodities (Stafford/MVP season, Puka Nakua, Devontae Adams, defensive additions like Jalen Watson and Trent McDuffie).
  • Injury is the main concern for the Rams.

Notable examples

  • Trade package cited: Garrett for Jared Verse plus 2027 1st, 2028 2nd, 2029 3rd.
  • OBJ signed with the Giants; OBJ hadn’t played since 2024.
  • A.J. Brown to the Patriots; Eagles’ offense/route predictability criticized, with a new coordinator (Sean/“Sean Minion”) expected to help.

3:21Shannon Sharpe:Oh, Joe, I saw the Cleveland Browns have sent their megastar defensive end, a two-time defensive player of the year. He's a five-time first-team All-Pro. In return, the Cleveland Browns sends Miles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams. In return, they get Jared Burst, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick, and a 2029 third-round pick. The Browns draft to Garrett number one overall in 2017. Ocho, I said, Ocho, why don't the Browns just trade this man? And you say, oh, why you trade him? He's your most valuable asset. I said, because Ocho, he getting all them sacks, and you finishing dead last.

4:08Shannon Sharpe:shouldn't you upgrade get more and try to put pieces around it they're not close with miles Garrett and I hated to say that but give that man he's too great to be modeling it wallowing it in mediocrity on that team now watch how invigorated he's gonna be because he knows every single damn week guys I gotta I got an 85 chance to win this damn game yes sir yes sir Ocho, I think you're muted.

4:42Shannon Sharpe:But this is a no-brainer for me, and I know Cleveland fans. Go ahead, Ocho. Yeah. Yeah.

4:49Joe Johnson:Go ahead. Go ahead. Okay, listen. I'm going to start from the front. I'm going to start from the front, and then I'm going to work on the tail end, right? You think about this. Miles Garrett with the ramp up and go, right?

4:58Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.

4:59Joe Johnson:Think about how many times they're going to be ahead. He was able to get 23, 25 and 23 sacks last year. 23.

5:05Shannon Sharpe:23 and a half. sacks last year, Uncle Joe, right?

5:09Joe Johnson:Always playing from behind.

5:11Shannon Sharpe:He was able

5:12Joe Johnson:to get 23 and a half, always playing from behind. Can you imagine the amount of sacks he's going to be able to get playing from ahead? When he could pin his ears back and just go, I ain't got to worry about nothing.

5:21Shannon Sharpe:Not to cut you off, you were right. 23 sacks, not 23 and a half. 23 to the NFL record.

5:25Joe Johnson:Okay, okay. But now, every team they play, as great as that offense is, with Devontae Adams, Puka, Matt Stafford, now always being able to play from, other teams are going to have to play from behind. So they're going to have no choice but to pass. Now all they got to do now is pin his ears back and just go. Now one of the things I did say, Unk, is how valuable he was to the Cleveland Browns. So I thought, you know, maybe they wouldn't trade him. But on the other hand, I'm thinking, well, listen, you're finishing last. You're not playing well. You're not winning very many games with him, even though he's probably the best player in the NFL defensively.

5:58Joe Johnson:Hands down. Why not give him an opportunity to win? Joe, allow him to go somewhere and to compete for a championship instead of the team being selfish while the value for them is extremely high. And they did just that. And we knew it was going to happen at some point. You probably addressed it a little bit more than I did. About once they moved the money. Say it again. They moved the money.

6:20Shannon Sharpe:He was supposed to get on March 15th. I think he was supposed to get in excess of about 20-something million dollars. They moved that to 15 days into the league year. The season. So I'm like, hold on. Why would you allow them unless you're giving me a return on my money, you give me 10 % to defer it even two, three months? Because they're like, no, no, no, no. We're going to let somebody else pay that. We're not going to give you that money to let you get up out of here. We're going to let somebody else pay that money. So that was a no-brainer. In all the Andrew Barry talk, we're not interested.

6:53Shannon Sharpe:No, no, no, no, no. When you start maneuvering things around, when you're going to buy something, what you do? You know, okay, let me get all my ducks in a row. Let me move this around. Make sure I'm up to this right here. Hey, now I can go get what I need to get done. And so I am not surprised by this move. And I think it's a great move on both sides because we know the Rams. Damn them picks. Yeah, absolutely.

7:17Joe Johnson:Absolutely. And this is the most important thing is for the Cleveland Browns. To make sure the picks that you have, you got to hit. You got to hit on those picks, you know. And obviously, I mean, they're in a tough situation. I'm not sure if they've gotten any better defensively getting Jared verse. He's not Myles Garrett, but he is. He's a quality player. Yeah, yeah. He's been back. I think what?

7:39Shannon Sharpe:He was a defensive rookie of the year, I think. He's a most-time Pro Bowl player. He's a 2024 defensive rookie of the year. 99 preciouses entering the league. Only Michael Parsons, 119. Myles Garrett, 109. Have more. So it wasn't like. Look, I know the Rams would have loved to pair Miles Garrett with Jerry Verse, but you weren't going to get him. That's not fair. And that is what allowed them to get him. And, Joe, I know we're going to throw it over to you because I know you upset your Cowboys didn't get him. But they had something the Cowboys didn't have. They had a guy that's 24, 25 years of age that's coming up and he's going to want a big contract.

8:18Shannon Sharpe:He's a proven commodity. The Cowboys didn't have that. Now, the Eagles had it. The question was, were they willing to part with Carter or something like that. Maybe they didn't want Carter. We don't know. But we know Jared Verce is a top five defensive end. He's an edge. He's a top five no matter how you look at him. And so to get him and a guy that probably had a first and a third on him, and so basically you get Verce, which is a first-round pick. You get their first-round pick next year, what, next year, a second and 28, and a third and 29. I think you came out extremely, extremely well in this situation.

8:55Shannon Sharpe:Joe, how disappointed are you that your Cowboys didn't have the draft capital to go get this thing done? Or maybe they were unwilling to spend the capital. I'm very disappointed considering the fact that he's still in the NFC. But listen, here's what I tell y 'all. I don't really think it was – I think it was a good trade for the Browns considering the fact I think they kind of started over, you know, to get assets. You know what I mean? Look, we've been watching Miles Garrett and Cleveland for what, over nine years? This is Arke Ocho. He probably went to the playoffs, what, two or three times?

9:26Shannon Sharpe:I think twice. He playing meaningless football over there, bro. Yeah. You know, let him go. But the one thing that comes with that, and y 'all know, expectations are a lot different, bro. Yes, absolutely. You know what I mean? Like, we understand how great he is setting the NFL record in sacks. But at the same time, when you go into L.A., obviously they got a high-power offense. We know that. But at the same time, them expectations hit a little different, fellas.

9:51Joe Johnson:Yeah, but, hey, Joe, you got to think about it now. We talk about one of the better players, better defensive players in the NFL. This is one of the players you can plug and pull on any of the 32 teams, and he's going to do exactly what he does no matter where he's at. If he did what he did on one of the worst teams in the NFL, even though they had a great defense, what you think he's going to do over there in L.A., which always has a decent defense as well? Adding him to that team makes them exponentially better. I agree. They're more considered an offensive team as opposed to defense, but the defense ain't bad.

10:24Shannon Sharpe:And remember, they trained up at McDuffie. They got tremendous defensive tackles. Their defensive tackles are great. They're unbelievable. And you got Duffy, McDuffie. Think about what they have. And so I think the thing is, in this situation, when you add a player like Miles Garrett to a team like this, what are they saying? He's the missing link. He's the missing piece. That's what you do, Ocho. So when the Rams, when I got Matthew Stafford, what did they tell everybody? This is the missing link. Yeah.

10:55Joe Johnson:So basically all they are saying also, Brother Stan Kroenke and the fellas, I'm not sure who the GM is and Sean McVay. This is Super Bowl or bus.

11:08Shannon Sharpe:Man.

11:09Joe Johnson:This is Super Bowl or bus. All my cards, all my chips are at the front of the table. I'm betting the house.

11:17Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.

11:18Joe Johnson:When you make this kind of move, this is what you're doing. And, you know, they're going to be in contention as always. The Browns, obviously, they're in a building era. They've been building for a very long time, and they just haven't seen it get it right yet with all the first-round picks that they've had, you know, to date. But they've got a long way to go.

11:38Shannon Sharpe:But I think the thing is, the one thing we know about the Rams, it's been since they made this move, because if you think about it, they made the move, they go get Matthew Stafford. Kelly doesn't want you to call him Matt. So, Kelly, we're going to appease you. We're going to call him Matthew. Matthew Stafford. Remember, they traded for Jalen Ramsey. They go get Von Miller. Look at the move. They get Leonard Floyd. Look at the moves that they made, Ocho. So, Joe, basically they said we Super Bowl or bus every damn year. We don't care if we got no picks until 2030. We worry about 2026. You see, there are two days we can never control, yesterday and tomorrow.

12:16Shannon Sharpe:I don't give a damn about tomorrow. What about today? I'm trying to win today. I can't do anything about tomorrow. I mean yesterday. Yesterday gone. It's history. Tomorrow's a mystery. Today, today we got Miles Garrett. And today, hey, Seattle. Oh, y 'all thought y 'all were going to be comfortable. Y 'all thought y 'all going to sit back in there and get skinny grin in our face. San Francisco. Oh, I understand. Yeah, y 'all brought that big man back, that left tackle. Big Trent. He'd up. He back. But oh, we got something for y 'all ass. You got to see us. Y 'all got to see 95 on a regular occasion.

12:54Shannon Sharpe:This ain't no, well, oh man, damn, Cleveland on the schedule. Yeah, we on the schedule twice. We in the same division. Hey, listen, and they so high power offensively and with Miles Garrett, it makes them high power defensively. So they, hey, look, do y 'all think that boosts them into like the favorite? Hell yeah. we're having miles Gary absolutely and you still got Puka and you still got Devontae you went out and got McDuffie because you felt your back end wasn't what it needed to be so you addressed that hold on they got somebody else too didn't they get a safety they got somebody else to add to that second no they got Jalen Watson they got the other corner from Kansas City Ocho and Joe, they got both corners.

13:46Shannon Sharpe:Oh, the Rams? The Rams is. They got Jayla Watson and McDuffie. And now we plug in Miles Garrett. Oh, we got something for your ass. We got something for y 'all stinking ass in that film. Oh, hold on. Guess where the Super Bowl is? The last time the Super Bowl was in L.A. What was it, Ocho? Who was there?

14:07Joe Johnson:It's L.A. And listen, there's a good chance. I don't mean to jump the gun. There's a good chance with what they've done in the offseason, in the draft, just now with Myles Garrett today, there's a good chance that they're playing in that Super Bowl right in their backyard.

14:25Shannon Sharpe:Man.

14:26Joe Johnson:And it's one more thing. I'm going to say it before it even happened. Puga Nakua is going to be the highest paid non-quarterback very soon.

14:37Shannon Sharpe:Very soon. You look at what they got defensively. They got Kobe Turner, Puna Ford, Brandon Fisk, Byron Young, Nate Landman, Landmine, Landman, Omar Spates, Miles Garrett, Jalen Watson, Cameron Kitchens, Cam Curl, Trent Duffy, Quentin Lake. And with that offense, we mentioned Puka. We mentioned Devontae. You got Matthew Stafford. You got Kyron Williams running the football. Mm-hmm. Boy, that boy's nasty. Hey. How they going to be in the brown? Don't worry about that. Hey, AAD. What you got going on? I see you on IG now. Don't think I don't see what you doing on IG. Nah. Come on. Come on, Un. Come on.

15:21Shannon Sharpe:I'm just taking you off.

15:23Joe Johnson:Nah. Nah. Nah. Nah. Hey, Un. Hey, Un. Hey, Un. I got a question. If Aaron Donald decides to come back, even though he's been relaxing for two years, if he decides to do it, I'm going to make one more run at it. I'm going to try to make one more run at it. What do you mean? I mean, Aaron Donald coming back. I'm just saying he might. I wouldn't be surprised if he does. Based on what they've done, I mean, they're constructed to win a Super Bowl this year, Joe. Hey. Nah. You got Miles Garrett. You add Aaron Donald. You know, oh, my. I mean, just.

15:56Shannon Sharpe:Hey, man, let AD continue to chill and work out. Just four days ago, Iso and Joe, Aaron Donald posted a workout video with the caption, hashtag ready. And the song ain't done. We can't play the song, so Chad, use your imagination. Now, I'm going to put 99 and 95. Now, I'm going to put 99 in that shade, that three-tick. Yeah. Yes, sir. I'm going to put Miles Garrett. Because you know Miles Garrett, all he do is go up and down the line, turn on the door handle and see which one open. You know when you was a kid, you used to go, hey, I wasn't this type of kid, but you pull on the door handle and see what car open, and maybe you go in there and gather a little something.

16:34Shannon Sharpe:You know what I'm saying? That's all Miles Garrett do. Hold on. You dummy. You ain't locked your door. I'm going to stand right here. I'm coming right here. Now, can you imagine if Miles Garrett and Aaron Donald both lined up over the guards? Nah, we can't imagine. Nah. Hell, nah, we can't imagine. Come on. Come on, man.

16:52Joe Johnson:Y 'all doing too much now. I know. It's not us. It's not us, Joe. It's not us. It's the organization that's doing too much. That's them. Matter of fact, think about this. Hey, Unk and Joe, think about how versatile Miles Garrett is. Yeah, you can line up, yeah. Think about how many positions he can play on the field. He can stand up. He can go down. He can be three techniques. Play the five. He can play the seven.

17:14Shannon Sharpe:He can get the wide nine. He can line up over the center. Yeah, Joe, he that versatile.

17:19Joe Johnson:Man, listen. Hey, Joe, if they add Aaron Donald and bring Aaron Donald back, man, listen here, man.

17:24Shannon Sharpe:What you saying? I sure hope they play the Cowboys. What I'm saying is that I hope they play the Cowboys. what do you got going on that one I'm hoping hey Ocho you gonna be good they play the Cowboys I'll be on this Pony 8 hey Ocho ain't gonna be he ain't gonna be enjoying you and have no fun well you have some too you be gonna drink your whole bottle by the time you come on night camp cause your left tackle gonna have a sore 8 he gonna get tore out the brain Hey, left tackle, left guard, right guard. Hey, listen, it's going to be hell with my beard there. But if AD come back too, come on, man.

18:07Shannon Sharpe:Come on, bro. I think the thing is that if you're a player on this team and you see how they are invested, that they do everything. You know, some teams talk about, you know, we're trying to compete, but you don't go get the pieces necessary. They're just talking. The one thing you, hey, since Sean McVay and Leslie got there, I mean, Sean McVay was like this. When he went to that Super Bowl and he lost 13-3 to the Patriots, he said, never again will I only score 13. This offense is too potent. He said, we're a quarterback away. Now, Matthew Stafford won the MVP in year 18. What in year 18? Year 17.

18:53Shannon Sharpe:I mean, I think he was 2009 because Megatron was 2008. So he just – yeah. So he's like – so he's still playing at elite, elite, elite level. And he still got those two guys. And think about it. Devontae got kind of nicked down the end, so Devontae didn't play like the last two or three games. Yeah. The other 17, so this is 18. Yeah. So when you look at it and you look at what they've done, they don't guarantee it. But I like this because I don't think any of these pieces are forced. This is a natural fit. They play an over front. Miles Garrett can play his customary position. I like their defense.

19:36Shannon Sharpe:They got defensive tackles that can get up the field in a hurry. They can run games. Miles Garrett, we know, can line up anywhere on the defensive line. And you got hell on that. Man.

19:49Joe Johnson:It's going to be ugly I knew it was going to happen Joe I didn't know what team I didn't know what team would actually get him

19:58Shannon Sharpe:I didn't see The damn Rams getting him I felt it would happen too Considering the fact that Miles Garrett is probably At his most valuable right now Coming off the sack record If you the Browns Yeah you want to package that up I mean, he can't determine the outcome of a game. You know what I mean? In Cleveland. So I think this was a good move by Cleveland, by the Browns. But this makes the Rams hella scary. The only thing that concerns you is injury. If they stay healthy, this is not – I know everybody's saying, this is not the Philadelphia Eagles where they go out and they get all these guys that they're talking about, you know, and you heard Vince Young talking about Dream Team.

20:42Shannon Sharpe:That is not what this is. We're talking about proven commodities. Matthew Stafford is coming off an MVP season. Puka Nakua was in running for the offensive player of the year. He led the league in receptions. Devontae Adams led the league in touchdown receptions. Kyron Williams ran the ball over 1 ,200 yards. So this is not forced. And you got a defense. He's not a system guy. Miles Garrett is your damn system. Facts. Facts. Facts. Ocho told you he can do it all. If you played him in a 3-4, he could stand up and rush. You could play him in a 3-4 and play him at the 5. You could play him in a 7-10.

21:23Shannon Sharpe:You could play him in a 9, a cowboy. You could play him in a short 9 or wide 9. Yeah. It don't matter. He's that. He ain't no systems like some quarterback, I got to play zone coverage or I got to play man coverage. That is not Myles Garrett. He is the preeminent defensive player in all of football. Whoever your favorite defensive player is, he's not better than Miles Garrett. Damn. To go from the Browns, to go from Cleveland to L.A.?

21:55Joe Johnson:Oh, my God. Hey, hey, hey, do you feel a little bad for Jared Burst going from L.A.? Knowing you're going to be in contention year and year out, week in and week out, you have a chance to go to Cleveland?

22:06Shannon Sharpe:Hold on, he from Ohio, though. That don't mean you're going to go back there? Hell, you from Arkansas. You ain't trying to go back there and live? Yeah, but when I do go to Arkansas, I enjoy it because I'm from there. You go to visit. How long you stay? I don't know. I would typically stay. Hey, Joe. Oh, Joe. You see him rubbing his head? Oh, Joe. You see him rubbing his head? Oh, yeah.

22:26Joe Johnson:I'll be there. Yeah, hey. It's a different ballgame. It's a different ballgame. So, I mean, listen. Listen. Some people, you know, as fans, the first thing they'll say, well, you're still making millions of dollars. But when you're competing, you want to compete at the highest level and actually want to a chance to win and to come from an environment to come from a culture like that that is consistently and everything is aligned with winning from top to bottom I mean you got to feel some kind of way but listen he can go up there he can go over there and make a difference I'm not going to say I'm not going to say Jared Berkson to make them forget Miles Garrett but he's no slouch he's going to be one of those players that you can plug and pull and they might not miss a beat defensively because that's just how good he is I'm not saying he's Miles Garrett but he ain't no goddamn slouch No, I mean, he got 12 sacks.

23:11Shannon Sharpe:He's a defensive rookie of the year. That says something that he's approving. And he's in line for a big contract. He's going to get paid. And the thing that Miles was like, yes, the money is great. $40 million is great. But, man, I take the field. And I already know I ain't got no chance. Unless I get 12 sacks and get two scooping scores and lead to pick sixes, we're not winning. Because offensively, that's how challenged we are. As great as Cleveland worked defensively, Ocho and Joe, they ain't got no chance of winning. Who we kidding? Nobody. Got to put up points. And so Cleveland's looking at it like, look, we paying a guy$40 million.

23:52Shannon Sharpe:For what? As great as he is. And he's deserving. He's earned that. But we can't win. We can finish in dead last and pay$10 million for Jared Burks until he gets that big contract. Because his contract coming. He going to be in the 40 meals also. Cleveland know they know what they gotta do they gotta do I think Vir's probably about 4-5 years younger than Miles Gary too I think Miles about to turn 30 or just turn 30 versus what 24 yeah I think he about 24-25 25 Miles gotta be 29-30 30 okay yeah Yeah. Look, you still got to play the games. But I tell you what, other than Seattle, who would you rather be?

24:51Shannon Sharpe:Let's be all the way real. Because you make it seem like they were not on the cusp. They were in the championship. Didn't they go to the championship game last year? Didn't Seattle beat them in the championship game? Yeah.

25:06Joe Johnson:Yeah.

25:07Shannon Sharpe:Mm-hmm. Yeah. so they were right there to begin with. It's not like there's some of these teams, like they go load up and they get five, six, seven, eight, nine guys, and they didn't even win the division. They weren't even in the playoffs. The Rams, remember a couple years ago, they gave Philly the toughest test of all the playoffs. Mm-hmm. Look,

25:36Shannon Sharpe:it's uh it's crazy man it's it's crazy but take your hat off to Stan Cronkite to give it less need and those guys over there uh the ability if you think it can help us win a championship go get it done oh yeah we'll figure out a we'll we'll figure out how to pay for this issue later right hey we put that thing on layaway hey hey with the Super Bowl being back in LA they trying to make sure they there as a matter of fact the whole play I run on Joe I ain't trying to leave I ain't trying to leave LA hey home field advantage huh I'm trying to stay right here

26:21Joe Johnson:hey I'm telling you don't be surprised if 99 come out of retirement

26:28Shannon Sharpe:man that's gonna be too wild bro hey super super wild think about it miles gary probably he probably ain't gotta deal with all them double teams and stuff oh hell no no no and it's not a fisk a hell razor too that d tackle that guy faking from uh florida state yeah he ain't he ain't nothing to play with. He ain't nothing to play with. And land by that linebacker, they good. They good. And I think they got better on the edges. McDuffie gonna need to focus back in. He kind of lost his way a little bit, Ocho. I don't know if it was the contract or what was going on. But Seattle, I mean Seattle. The Chiefs, they normally don't let the corners get to that second contract, Ocho.

27:20Shannon Sharpe:I think they had Ward. I think they might have paid Ward. But remember, they let Snead go. They let Duffy go. With Tennessee. Cook, I think Cook. Now he's with you guys, Ocho, in Cincinnati. With us, yep. So it's like, look, we don't go past the linebackers as far as pay. Because, I mean, at one point in time, remember, they signed Honey Badger to a big-time deal. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then they brought Justin Reed in. then they let Justin Reed go because they drafted these guys and these guys started playing well, you can't pay everybody when you got Patrick Mahomes and you got these guys and you got Kelsey and you got some of these offensive linemen that's making and you got Chris Jones and you got Koloftis it's just hard to, Joe, I can't pay everybody I know, I really know, yeah that's what everybody tends to run into you know, when you had these great teams and you have to start paying people, it starts to, you know, it starts to mess up the team.

28:23Shannon Sharpe:So you have to figure that out. You have to position yourself well. And that's probably why the Chiefs don't pay none of them corners, huh? Yeah. That's why they don't pay none of them corners. They use that for the mother position. Look, you're not going to have to hold up long because we trust Spags. Spags don't bring pressure. Spags is a pressure guy. He loves to play man coverage. And when he feels threatened or he feels you're trying to get into a position to kick a field goal, he's coming to blow everything up. He's coming with a bomb blitz. Anytime. He's bringing it. So you know, if you threaten him, he's coming with the bomb.

29:06Shannon Sharpe:He's going to blow it up.

29:08Joe Johnson:And the funny thing about it is the Chiefs have done very well hitting on all cylinders with those players and allowing them, And because they've had success with them, they allow them to go and get those contracts elsewhere. Because we feel, you know what, we can plug and play someone else here and just teach them exactly what to do because our money is on the front end. It's up front. And we feel we can get somebody to replace you anyway. And honestly, that's their process. That's the way they think it.

29:36Shannon Sharpe:They are because if you look at it, Ocho, you look at it. They drafted Chris Jones. They drafted Coloptus. They drafted McDuffie. They drafted Watson. They drafted all these young players. and they hit on them. And so when you draft and you have that kind of success, you're like, you know what? Hey, hell, we'll draft another one. What the hell, we got to overpay for this one? Just go draft another one. The only thing that they're going to constantly overpay is 1-5. You're going to pay him. He's worth every penny. As long as the sun come up, he's going to get paid. Because he controls everything.

30:12Shannon Sharpe:I don't give a damn what you got on offense. I don't give a damn what you got on defense. He makes it work. He pulls all the strings. Now, it's going to be interesting to see what he's like five, six months removed from surgery. A very serious knee surgery. He had a lot of damage to that knee. We'll see. We still a ways away. It was just not June. And we still got July. So he still got basically 10 weeks, maybe even 12 weeks. Because the season doesn't start. He's probably not going to even play in the preseason. Hell, he'd never do. I turned off news altogether. I hate to say it, but I don't trust much of anything.

30:49It's the rage bait. It feels like it's trying to divide people. We got clear facts. Maybe we can calm down a little. NBC News brings you clear reporting. Let's meet at the facts. This is Malcolm Glabal from Smart Talks with IBM. Today we're diving into a fascinating conversation with Stefano Pallard, head of fan development for Scuderia Ferrari HP. Your pronunciation is strongly American.

33:37It's more Scuderia Ferrari. I'm still working on rolling my R's. But what I was able to learn from Stefano was the importance of engaging the Tifosi, the Ferrari superfans in the digital age. Ferrari fans and superfans want to be part of something, want to belong to something. So they want to be part of a community and ultimately they want to be part of a winning team. You've got Ferrari, which has a long history, design history. And now you're interacting in a kind of digital space. I'm curious how you balance those two traditions. When it comes to fan engagement, it's really digital technology and digital channels are being able to create a deeper connection with our fans.

34:57Shannon Sharpe:There was a report, I don't know how true it is, that Jerry Burst had reached out to Max Crosby. You saw that? Yeah, it was. How do you get that straight recidivism? By waiting until June 1st, the Eagles can now split Brown's$40 million salary cap charge between 26 and 27. GM Howard Roseman said, I think that he just felt for his family at this stage of his career, it was something that he was desiring and that he was looking forward to. In all of our conversation, he was very, very positive about his experience in Philly. Just felt like going forward here, that was not something that he preferred.

35:38Shannon Sharpe:Hey. Ocho, I will let you say.

35:43Joe Johnson:Ocho and Ocho. I told you so. Yeah. I mean, a lot of people, obviously, we said it when the season was still going. Yes. We talk about early in the season, Joe. Yeah. We talk about October, you know, around November when things weren't going well. He was still upset, obviously having conversations with the owner, and there were still problems on the field. You can see the frustration lingering going into year two of having same-said problems. The problem with the officer coordinator, the problem with the play calling, the rifts and the disconnect, you know, between Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown. You could see it coming, but a lot of Eagles fans were like, no it's no problem you know we're winning we're winning but obviously AJ Brown understanding that listen we're winning but I'm suffering I'm suffering because I want to contribute to said wins absolutely obviously there were some opportunities late in the season where you know the bell the bell was called and you were called on to make those plays and he didn't do it he didn't do it you know he dropped some balls so uh it was time it was time for this relationship to go their separate ways.

36:52Joe Johnson:And I said that the best place for A.J. Brown to go is to go to a coach that was familiar with him and what he can and can't do, and that would be with Mike Rabel down there in New England.

37:04Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.

37:05Joe Johnson:And, you know, obviously now it has happened. A lot of people, you have to replace talent with talent. And by no means are they going to be able to replace A.J. Brown's talent or production right away. I understand they have Makai Lemon. Great player in college. Will it be able to transition into the NFL? We don't know yet. I know Mekhi Lemon looked good when he was in college. Coming to the NFL is still completely different. This is not a Justin Jefferson. This is not a Jamar Chase where you can plug him and play. You know what he's going to give you right off the bat. I'm sure they'll be able to put him in position to be able to make the plays.

37:40Joe Johnson:Devontae Smith, what are they going to do for 18 games straight? Wherever Slim Reaper, wherever Smitty lines up, we doubling him. Make everybody else beat us. They got to prove they can get open. They got to prove they can get open. I ain't mad at you. But if they don't, it's going to be hell.

38:01Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.

38:03Joe Johnson:I'm still excited for the Eagles. I still have the Eagles. No disrespect to your Cowboys. I still have the Eagles winning the NFC East. Damn. Still. Damn.

38:12Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey.

38:13Joe Johnson:I said no disrespect, Joe.

38:15Shannon Sharpe:All right. Anytime somebody's got a problem with no disrespect, how is it meant, Joe? Let's all go over there instigating. I just said joke. You know how he... You see? Yeah, let's all go over there instigating. Let me ask you a question. Oh, let me ask you this. If somebody say... Yeah. Your kid look just like your girl, but your girl ugly as F, what are you saying? That your kid ugly. Okay, if somebody prefaced something by saying, respectfully, I don't mean no disrespect, How is he saying it?

38:52Joe Johnson:Disrespectfully. I didn't say anything disrespectfully. The Eagles are still the Eagles. They're just missing an important piece.

39:01Shannon Sharpe:I'm saying, how are you so sure, Ocho, that they're going to be so great without A.J. Brown? I'm happy for A.J. You know what I mean? It's hard when one of your best players are disgruntled. Yes. You know what I mean? You ain't going to get the best out of him. This is what he wanted. He want an opportunity to get back to playing and being that top receiver. He want to put up them numbers, man. Yes, sir. That's what A.J. wants. He ain't out there trying to be no pedestrian. Hey, let him just fly up. Nah, nah, nah, nah. He ain't out there for no wind sprints. That man want to. He want touchdowns and yards.

39:32Joe Johnson:Can I tell you why? I believe they're still going to be, you know, a top contender. Why do you believe that? Why? For one, they still have Saquon Barkley. For one, the head coach is Sirianni. For two, they have a new officer coordinator in Sean Mannion. yeah look at where he come from if i'm not mistaken uncle he's coming from the green packers right you can come he's coming from that tree the green packers creativity having receivers knowing what to do put them in different positions to be able to make the plays not being as predictable as patula's offense was last year the fact that uncle and i could watch the eagles game and tell you exactly what routes ad brown was running based on his alignment based on what side of field is field it was on based on down the distance it was too predictable it's too predictable.

40:15Joe Johnson:If we can predict it and we sit at home, imagine what the goddamn player can do that have watched film all week and playing the game against the Eagles.

40:23Shannon Sharpe:But Ocho, if they got eight in the damn box on the Eagles and you making Hurts throw the ball, damn, he got to make some plays, bro.

40:31Joe Johnson:I mean, he gonna make them. He gonna make them. He gonna be all right. He gonna be better this year. He gonna be better this year. Listen, they got Hollywood Brown. They got Makai Lemon. Obviously, they have Slim Reaper and Devontae Smith. They're going to be all right. The one thing I want Jalen Brown, I'm talking about Jalen Brown, Jalen Hurts, to be able to do is to be able to trust his eyes and his anticipatory skills in letting the ball go, not waiting until receivers are wide open and then throwing it. Trusting yourself and throwing them open. That's pretty much it. Outside of that, I think the Eagles are still going to be very, very good because they still got Saquon.

41:08Joe Johnson:That offensive line is still one of the best in the league, if not the best, And they're going to be fine. Makai Lemon is going to have to hit that learning curve and hit the ground running. He's going to have to hit the ground running right away.

41:21Shannon Sharpe:I just think the thing is you have to look at, look how Hurts was brought up playing the quarterback position by not doing what, Ocho? Joe, turning the ball over. Right. Turning the ball over. Look at him. His dad was his coach in high school. He learned the bulk of his career under Nick Saban. When he took over in Philadelphia, what did they say? They ran the football. Very safe passes. Now to try to get him out of that, it's hard. Yeah. Because for the better part of his career, you told him to protect the ball. Don't put the ball in harm's way. You don't put the ball in harm's way, we can win.

41:57Shannon Sharpe:We're going to play through our defense. We're going to play behind our running game. It's hard. I'm not saying it can't be done, but I'm saying it's just hard when that's how you've been brought up most of your career. I agree. I agree. But I'm not surprised. I think the thing is what we try to give the chat, Joe, when we talk football and the same thing which you do in basketball, is that we try to take the chat inside the locker room. And we try to take them in situations that in my 14 years, Ocho, 10, 11 years, your experience in the NBA, what we've seen, what we've been around, not only just the NFL, but in college and in high school.

42:42Shannon Sharpe:So you're talking about 20 plus years of experience, lived experience. There's a difference. You said you want players, no matter what the sport, when they talk about it, you want them to have played the game. We played the game. I'm telling you something, a lived experience.

43:08Shannon Sharpe:it don't make me no different if A.J. Brown stays or goes based on my knowledge and my experience this is how I believe it's going to end that's it nothing more nothing less through my personal experience my humble opinion this is how it's going to end Miles Garrett But Ocho, I'm just saying, for$40 million, they can finish in last place and pay somebody$10 million. Absolutely. That's it. If you win the Super Bowl and you say, well, that's it, it really wasn't what I thought it was, you lead the team in reception, you lead the team in yards, you go to the Pro Bowl, and you still, ain't nothing else I can do for you, Ocho.

44:00Shannon Sharpe:Ain't nothing else I can do. If you buy your girl the most expensive Birkin bag, so you get every one of them. You get the Kelly. You get the Mini. You get the Himalayan. You get a G-Wagon truck. You say, baby, for the next two months, we go into the Maldives. We go into Bali. We go into the Malfi Coast. Week eight. And don't buy nothing. And when you get back, and she's saying,

44:34you're like damn baby what's wrong nothing what you supposed to do ojo that's somebody that's

44:42Shannon Sharpe:just not happy there that's not saying she can't be happy she's just not happy there i'm not saying aj brown can't be happy it just appeared to me he was no longer happy there and when someone is not happy someplace,

45:02Shannon Sharpe:if a person doesn't want to be there, you can't buy them enough. You can't do enough things. When somebody doesn't want to be there, you can't do enough. I ain't telling you what somebody told me. Again, I try to give you life-lived experiences. Yes, sir. And when a person doesn't want to be somewhere, you can't do enough. Absolutely right Yeah I mean

45:33Joe Johnson:It didn't run its course Uncle Joe It didn't run its course So I'm glad for both sides They both move on AJ Brown Now in New England With Drake May You know Jalen Hurts Got Smitty New officer coordinator New players New regime Petunia was terrible I mean Petunia my bad

45:54Shannon Sharpe:I said Petunia I don't know why I said that My bad. I'm sorry. That slipped. It didn't. That man was terrible.

46:02Joe Johnson:New offensive coordinator, Sean Minion. I think I said it right. I'm excited. I'm excited for the Eagles. I'm excited. Defense still going to be good. I think he was a quarterback. Wasn't he a quarterback at Oregon State? He was? Sean Minion?

46:20Shannon Sharpe:I think so. Wasn't he a quarterback at one point in time?

46:27He was put out for where he went to school.

46:34Shannon Sharpe:Goddamn. That's Ocho. He went to Oregon State. Ocho don't even know the man. Oh, man. I was in color for four months. What you mean, my school? You're supposed to know them folk, man. You alumni.

46:49Joe Johnson:I ain't alumni. Joe, I was there for four months. You acting like I was there for four years.

47:02Shannon Sharpe:I ain't even put my stuff in the dress I had a suitcase man on the floor taking my clothes off

47:10Joe Johnson:Joe I ain't even go to class Joe I think I got there in August but by the time April got there I was gone

47:21Shannon Sharpe:I think that look Ocho you said something very interesting He goes to a coach that knows him. The thing is that he knows his personality. Right. Also, he knows Vrabel ain't no nonsense. Here's a guy that played, played at a high level. One, when you get to a place, lay out my expectations. Tell me what you expect of me. I'm telling you what I expect of you. This is how I act. I don't have no problem being coached hard. Yes. I'm going to come in, I'm going to be professional. At the very least, I might not be what you thought I was, but I'll always be professional. I ask that you extend me the same courtesy.

48:07Shannon Sharpe:I believe in a level of professionalism above all. Absolutely. And I think because A.J. knows him, he knows A.J., he knows what makes A.J. tick, A.J. knows what gets under the brable skin, I think it's going to be great. he has a quarterback. He believes that he, look, not to say that, because at one point in time, Joe, he believed in Jalen Hurts. Yeah. Oh, they put up some good numbers now.

48:36Joe Johnson:Hey, him and Jalen put up some good numbers now. You know, things started to unravel year three and four. They were together four years, right? I think four years. Yeah, the tail ended three, and obviously we see how four went. Him and Drake, they're going to have a good rapport. They're going to have a good rapport. He has a nice complimentary set of receivers also that go along with him. Keyshawn, Boutte. I forgot who made me the third. I don't know if he made it four years.

49:00Shannon Sharpe:Was he only there three years? Because the first year they went to the Super Bowl, the next year they didn't. Kansas City, because Kansas City went back-to-back, and then the third, yeah, it's four years. He might have been four years. So the first year they go, San Francisco, third year. Yeah, four years. He was there four years, Ocho. Yeah, it's four. Yeah. Hold on, hold on. The Patriots just played. They just played in the Super Bowl, right? Yeah.

49:23Shannon Sharpe:I think they'll get the best out of AJ bro you get another chance you get a different opportunity an opportunity that you've been looking forward to they should get the best AJ yeah they're going to be alright

49:36Joe Johnson:they're going to be alright they're going to be alright and the Eagles are going to be alright

49:45Shannon Sharpe:look at this picture can you see this picture yeah Who is that? That's A.J. Brown. Now, to the best of my recollection, Nike started making NFL jerseys in 2012. Either A.J. Brown is a very, very small 15-year-old. I'm just saying, a very, very small 15-year-old. Or this is AI. I'm just saying, Ochoa. I'll let y 'all draw your own conclusions.

50:14Joe Johnson:That might be AI. I don't know.

50:20Joe Johnson:Hey, that's a good one, though.

50:22Shannon Sharpe:You don't know what's real nowadays here.

50:25Joe Johnson:Hey, boy. You can't even tell. So, damn. I turned off news altogether. I hate to say it, but I don't trust much of anything. It's the rage bait. 54:36Shannon Sharpe:Odell Beckham Jr. is heading back to where it all started. He was signed today to the New York Giants. Odell spent his first five seasons of his career from 2014 to 2018. He's since number two on the Giants all-time receiving list. OBJ hadn't played since 2024. Ocho, ISO, OBJ, Malik Neighbors, Jackson Dart, Cam Scadabo. What are we thinking? Hold on. Didn't they get Juju? Yeah, they signed Juju today also.

55:08Joe Johnson:Yeah, Juju went there too. Obviously, I look at the Odell, bringing Odell in as some insurance. He's some insurance, somebody that's familiar with the team in general. Obviously, it's a new system, a new quarterback. He's familiar with playing in that organization specifically. How healthy is Malik Nabors going to be?

55:28Shannon Sharpe:That's what I was going to say, man.

55:29Joe Johnson:That's the first thing that comes to mind. How healthy is Malik Nabors going to be? Didn't he have another surgery on that knee, Ocho? Yeah, he just had got cleaned up. That was maybe two weeks ago. They just announced. If he's not able to go, they're able to use Odell Beckham and Juju Smith's, what's Juju's last name? Schuster, you know, in different ways to manipulate that offense and put him in different positions to make some of those plays, being that Malik Nabors is your number one. Malik Nabors is your dog. He can do some of any and everything. Oh, Joe, before we go any further on this,

56:04Shannon Sharpe:remember the Patriots signed Romeo Dobbs also. So Romeo Dobbs and A.J. Brown and Keyshawn Butte. Damn.

56:13Joe Johnson:Hey, they got a nice little squad, boy. They got a nice little squad over there now.

56:18Shannon Sharpe:and you know Remondre Remondre Stephens so they got a nice little score they got a nice little something offensively cooking now go ahead you were saying if Malik Nabors if he can get back up if he can come back and be what he was his rookie year oh man they're going to be nasty Slayton had surgery remember Wondell Robinson went to Tennessee He went to Tennessee. He went to Tennessee. Now, they did bring over a likely tight end from Baltimore. Yes. Yeah. OBJ, Ocho, does he have anything left?

57:02Joe Johnson:A little bit, huh? A little bit. He's not going to be the OBJ we used to seeing when he wore 13 with the Giants now. He's not going to be that. But we've seen what he can do. He can make plays. He can make plays. you put him in positions and give him the opportunities to make said plays, he can do what he needs to do. Yeah. He can do what he needs to do.

57:23Shannon Sharpe:I think, hey, hey, I think he'll be solid, but I don't think neighbors, fellas, I don't know if neighbors are going to be ready to start the season. And my thing is, I mean, that's just my gut feeling, Ocho. Are you going to wear a guy like Odell Beckham and Juju Smith? Are you going to wear those guys down? Because if Malik neighbors ain't going to be there to start here, You're going to have to lean on those guys. Yeah. The question that I have. I like Odell because he's proven. But the question, Ocho. He's proven. At the end of the day, what's the number one thing for a receiver? He's got to get separation.

57:57Shannon Sharpe:Can JoJo, can Juju separate? Can OBJ separate anymore? That's the thing. I don't care. We've seen guys, Ocho, fast, but they don't know how to get separation. We see guys that stuff. You look at a guy like Ladd McConkie, or you look at a guy like Keenan Allen, what can they create? Separation. Separation. Yeah. The question is, can the two guys that we've been talking about the last three, four minutes, can they separate anymore, Ocho?

58:25Joe Johnson:And think about this too. Think about how whoever the officer coordinator is, I'm not sure. I don't want to butcher anyone's name that is not the officer coordinator for the New York Giants. But if their strengths, OBJ at one point, can separate like a deal. I'm not sure if he was able if he was ever a player where he can just create separation like that. You're talking about Juju right?

58:47Shannon Sharpe:Yeah yeah yeah yeah no that's not never that's never.

58:49Joe Johnson:Maybe if you know that's not their strength anymore you put them in positions to be able to get them open. There are many things you can do to get them open. You can scheme them open put them in motion. There are ways around that where you can hide some of the things that they're not good at anymore because of age because of injuries.

59:08Shannon Sharpe:Matt Nagy is the offensive coordinator for the Giants, don't you? Remember, Matt Nagy was with Kansas City.

59:14Joe Johnson:I like Nagy. See? Nothing about that. You know he's stealing some of them concepts from over there.

59:20Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, but then we got the players that run those concepts. Hello. I can put you in a NASCAR. You ain't going to beat the guys that do that for a living around that damn track. And we'll give you the same car that got 850 horsepower, burning that same high power gas. Yeah.

59:39Joe Johnson:But you know what I do? Hey, Joe, this gives OBJ a chance to prove everybody wrong, though. If Malik Neighbors is not able to go, can you steer the ship? Can you keep the ship afloat until Neighbors comes back?

59:52Shannon Sharpe:He just don't want to...

59:53Joe Johnson:You know how exciting Jackson Dart is.

59:57Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. He better learn how to get his ass out of bounds. Get down. He spend more time in concussion protocol and in the damn tent than he do in the huddle. Oh, that's the fire and the passion. I don't want that kind of fire and passion when my quarterback taking shots like that, Ocho. You ain't going to last long. I know a guy that they said the same thing about Ocho. That's passion. I love the way he played. He played about five years and he retired. Andrew Luck. And Jackson Dart ain't no damn Andrew Luck.

1:00:30Joe Johnson:nah hey boy andrew said i'm exactly they broke it go back i tell you what go back and look at the

1:00:37Shannon Sharpe:game he played on a sunday against the broncos that was the beginning of the end yeah go watch that game and watch the hits that he took it they won they won the battle they lost the war you don't want your quarterback taking those shots Cam Scattable I love you boy you're exciting to watch I love your game I love your passion but bro all you gotta do is look at Earl Campbell go look at Earl

1:01:17Shannon Sharpe:that ain't the way to do it it's okay it's okay to put that blink on and get your ass out of bounds yeah

1:01:26Shannon Sharpe:hey what Jackson Dart hurt last year his head they beat it till it was soft like a baked potato he got a couple concussions he got a seat he had Ocho I love that for my I love my quarterback

1:01:45Joe Johnson:I like he played different I wish he would protect himself a little bit more but man, hey Joe Jackson Dark going to the New York Giants gave fans a reason he put butts in the seats I agree with you

1:02:01Shannon Sharpe:him in Scatterbow I thought they did a hell of a job last season yeah look at him man because you have to understand Joe, once that quarterback leaves the pocket, he's not afforded the protection of the pocket so I would treat his ass like a running back. Oh, you want to be a running back, huh? Oh, you're Derrick and Adrian now.

1:02:25Joe Johnson:Okay. He be trying to dip on the DB sometime, too. Come on, Jackson. Step out of bounds, man.

1:02:34Shannon Sharpe:Hey, man, y 'all know he's young and rambunctious, man. You know, hey, he has to try to get it. They're not the Mario coins out your ass. Yeah, hey, you learn quick now. Nah, yo, get mad. Don't get mad. What's your name? NYCC. T-N-Y-C. Talking about just be talking. How you talking about just talking? I'm telling you how the guy got hurt. Don't get mad because I'm telling the truth. Everybody in the chat know I'm telling the truth. Ain't no just talking. I said this in the preseason. I said, boy, you asking for it. I know how guys, look, I know how guys treat the quarterback when he runs. Because that's the only time I'm going to get a chance to knock your ass out.

1:03:20Shannon Sharpe:yeah did y 'all see how they hit Cam when Cam ran the football yeah did you see Andrew Luck think about it what Andrew the projection Andrew Luck was on they'll break your spirit

1:03:38Joe Johnson:quick they broke Andrew Luck's spirit

1:03:43Shannon Sharpe:I tell you what go ask Mike Vick if he had to do over That's what I was just feeling like. He said, hell no. Hey, I got down out of bounds. I took too many unnecessary shots. Okay. Y 'all, look, you have to understand, and certain positions, running backs, tight ends, we're used to taking those licks. Quarterbacks are not used to taking those kinds of licks, Joe, because they don't build their bodies up like that. Yeah. You need to stay fluid. You need to be able to throw and rotate so you don't build up big old traps and shoulders to take some of those moles, thick-ass neck. I get it. Okay. Hey, hey, hey.

1:04:27Shannon Sharpe:He got to be better. He got to be better. I'm sure he didn't learn this lesson. Hey, I know another guy they broke too. That guy we used to be with the commanders. Oh, yeah. Yeah, Daniels. No. RG3. Oh, RG3. You remember him? Yeah. Mm-hmm. Okay. But that's why, hey, look, that's why it's hard, bro, because, you know, RG3 kind of, he was in his own way. You know, he, you know that man wanted to play. It's hard to keep their ass off the field. Yes, but he wasn't ready to play. Yeah, I know.

1:05:08Shannon Sharpe:I just, the thing is, is I try to tell these guys, look, guys, look, I want you to be you, but you have to understand you got to pick and choose your battles. You can't go to war with everybody. And everybody that you think you got an easy win against, them the ones that'll knock your ass out. Ooh-wee. Now, I'm not telling you what somebody told me. I'm telling you, Ocho, we try to tell them what we do. We talk lived experiences. You say, hey, how's somebody going to give me advice about marriage and they ain't never been married? How's somebody going to tell me how to raise a child and they ain't never had a child?

1:05:38Shannon Sharpe:I ain't telling you something somebody told me that played in the NFL. I'm telling you lived experiences. Ocho is telling you lived experiences. Joe is telling you lived experiences. You say that's what you want.

1:05:54Shannon Sharpe:Yes, sir. Okay, hey. I was tough. I like to think I was tough as wet leather. Me too. Hey, Ocho, I... Quinkle, quinkle, quinkle. Run up out of bounds. Quit. Hey. Hey, do it, hey. Hey, when they got older, Joe, Ocho. I catch that ball, I see them coming, I pull that turf up over me. Man, I'm up under the turf. Don't you hit me. Hey. Man, hell no.

1:06:28Joe Johnson:Hey, Joe.

1:06:29Shannon Sharpe:What's up?

1:06:30Joe Johnson:I was out there running people over, Joe.

1:06:33Shannon Sharpe:Nah, hell no. I ain't going.

1:06:37Joe Johnson:Nah, I'm just telling you, I was out there running people over, Joe.

1:06:40Shannon Sharpe:Man, please. Yes, sir.

1:06:46Shannon Sharpe:Oh, Joe, look at this, look at this, show what we got, Ocho, look what we got, look what we found.

1:06:52Shannon Sharpe:That's on the cowboy? Aw, man, come on, man. I bring, I always bringing up this old stuff that don't mean nothing, man. Hey, who he catch that on, who he catch that on, Ocho?

1:07:03Joe Johnson:I think that's Mr. Carr. Used Carr.

1:07:08Shannon Sharpe:Already came with 100 ,000 miles on it. Come on, what we doing, what we doing? What we doing? See, Joe, that ain't me, Joe. Yeah, but you guilty by association, hell.

1:07:21Joe Johnson:Why you gonna believe what you mean guilty by association?

1:07:23Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, you part of nightcap. You guilty by association, yeah. I know you like this type of stuff, too. You know what I mean? Anything going at the Cowboys, I know you talk about pickings and all that, but you like, y 'all be low-key hating on this. Hey, Joe, I've never hated the Cowboys. The reason why OBJ liked that Cutter man, pulled him down, tried to pull him down. Look at the ref reaching in his back pocket. He ain't reaching for no Kleenex.

1:07:53Joe Johnson:He reaching for that yellow hanky. Reached back like one three.

1:07:58Shannon Sharpe:You see what he ate?

1:08:03Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey, man. Come on, bro.

1:08:07Joe Johnson:Don't worry about it, Joe.

1:08:09Shannon Sharpe:They're going to come back to hunt y 'all during NFL season too. Watch. Joe, I've been rooting for the Cowboy, Joe. What'd I do, Joe? I ain't in charge of graphics. What'd I do? Oh, Joe, now he make it seem like I'm in charge of graphics. But he don't call it, when all the graphics go up about them grooves and mint condition and true and true and all that, he don't say nothing about that. But now all of a sudden, I'm in charge of graphics. Yeah. You see what I'm saying, Chance? Yeah, I see what's going on. Your son ain't do that. Now all of a sudden, I'm in charge of graphics. That's okay. First game, we got something for the end.
