2:42Shannon Sharpe:Ocho, the Colts have given Anthony Richardson Sr. permission to seek a trade, his agent told ESPN. The former 2023 fourth overall pick has made 15 starts for the Colts, throwing 11 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, while battling a string of injuries, including a shoulder surgery, a fractional orbital bone, and vision issues following the procedure. The Colts are expected to move forward this year with Daniel Jones and 2025 draft pick Riley Leonard at 1-2. Ocho? Yeah. Where do you think Anthony Richardson ends up?
3:17Chad Johnson:Oh, that's a good question. That's a good question. I mean, what teams are willing to develop Anthony Richardson and allow him to be a backup? I mean, that's the part I don't know. I'm sure there's someone, some team that might give him a chance. But that's tough. That's tough. You understand the quarterback position. It's a premium position. Yep. And it's very, very important. So I'm not sure. I mean, your guess is as good as mine. Who's willing to give him a chance? That's the only thing.
3:53Shannon Sharpe:And you might have to go be a backup for a couple of years. You know what I'm saying? Because we look at Sam Darnold. Sam Darnold left. He went to Carolina. That wasn't a great situation for him. Remember, Ocho, he went to San Fran before he went to Minnesota.
4:07Chad Johnson:Yeah.
4:08Shannon Sharpe:And he said it was there where he learned how to play the quarterback position. Yes. So now he goes to Minnesota, parlays that, plays really well, goes to the Pro Bowl, and boom. That wasn't enough to convince the Vikes to keep him. He goes to Seattle, and the next year he wins the Super Bowl.
4:31Shannon Sharpe:Damn, man. That's messed up. I think a lot of it's going to be contingent on Ocho. How much do I have to give up for Anthony Richardson? I mean the best you can probably hope for is the fourth round pick you're not getting the first the top five pick and three years later you're getting up off and four years later you're getting up off and oh two four third and fourth round pick
4:51Chad Johnson:he had the Colts right in the palm of his hand I mean he kind of forced their hand in a sense with some of the issues that were going on internally that we didn't know about obviously I've heard about him and obviously his play on the field. Yes. And then Daniel Jones comes in and takes the team that we thought there were issues and look how things turn around.
5:18Shannon Sharpe:Ocho, when you had the conversation, I said, this is going to be an issue. And everybody jumped on us. Man, you old school. Man, let that man live. Let him breathe. I said, guys, y 'all don't understand how locker room works. Yeah. You can't do some of the things that he's doing. I'm not, look, I don't want to beat the young man up, but I'm just telling you the mindset. They paid this man a lot of money. And you think that you can be the last one in the building and the first one out. You think you can take yourself out of the game and that's just going to be okay? See, I think you guys are looking at it from, you're not looking at it from a team perspective.
5:53Shannon Sharpe:You're not looking at it from a competitive perspective. Okay, you work a regular job, Ocho. Hey, I'm tired. I ain't going into work today. Or I'm going to leave work. You can't do that in the NFL. You can't. Yeah. Because you can, but they're going to get you up out of there.
6:12Chad Johnson:Yeah.
6:15Shannon Sharpe:They're going to get you up out of there. It's really that simple, Ocho. It's really that simple. Yeah. And the mere fact, Ocho, you a rookie, and having a team meeting to have to talk to you.
6:27Shannon Sharpe:I've never heard that before. Right. You played a long time. I played a long time. and we stayed around the game. I've never heard of a team having to have a meeting to talk to a rookie.
6:37Chad Johnson:Not that position. And a quarterback? Not at that position, no. Absolutely not. That's the one position you shouldn't have to worry about. You shouldn't have to worry about. No.
6:47Shannon Sharpe:But you can't. Everybody can be replaced. Right. You just hope it comes later than sooner. Sooner, yeah. But they will. They'll eat that money. whatever they gave him 30 million guarantee they'll eat that and write it off absolutely we've seen them teams they take on 80 million 100 million dead cap they don't care they don't care
7:17Shannon Sharpe:hopefully he bounces back and gives an opportunity sometimes Ocho you have to go through something to really appreciate it I think he really appreciates the game of football now. He dealt with some injuries, the shoulder injury. You know, the freak accident with the band pops him in his eye, fractures his overall, and he has vision issues after that. I think his agent said everything, the vision is healthy, it's healed now, everything is good to go. But maybe this is the wake-up call that he needed. I sure hope so. Yeah. I sure hope so. I think he got put in a bad situation. I thought he was a project coming out, watching him at Florida.
8:01Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Yeah, I understand all the measure with Ocho. You're talking about somebody 6 '4", 6 '5", 245, running 4 '4", can throw the ball, stand in a long jump, all of that. That's a great project. All that stuff does not equate to playing the quarterback position. Yeah, that's a great question. Who cares? Let me ask you a question. What are you going to be doing? Is Superman jumping over the top? Right. Now, if you got something like the tush push where Jalen Hurts' 600-pound squat comes into effect, for the quarterback with a 40-inch vertical, what good is that going to do be unless he had the one-yard line going over the top like Walter Payton?
8:34Chad Johnson:Right. You're right. But listen, that was a good project to have based on the measurables. It was a great project to have. I can't say they didn't give them time to develop because they did their due diligence.
8:48Shannon Sharpe:Let me ask you a question. they still fixing your grandma's house when you asked Chauncey that you put Chauncey up you couldn't move right back in there could you nah because it was a project you see he was a project and they tried to get him to play right away you didn't develop it so now if you take time possibly develop him the right way you said he was a project everybody said he was a project yeah
9:16Chad Johnson:they ain't got that kind of patience though Well, you should have left him alone. They don't have that kind of patience.
9:22Shannon Sharpe:We should have left him alone. Yeah. Ocho, I get a car. Ocho, this is a fixer-upper. What I look like trying to drive it, when it put me down the side of the road on the interstate, and I'm mad, man, Ocho, this mofo put me down the side of the road. Well, you said it was a fixer-upper. Yeah. So that means you got to take time to fix it up. He's a project. That means you got to invest time in him to get him up to par.
9:50Chad Johnson:But they can invest time because the longer you wait, you understand what's coming up soon after that third year. I do.
9:59Shannon Sharpe:Boy, they didn't let Patrick Mahomes play his first year. He damn sure could wait. Yeah.
10:10Shannon Sharpe:You moved him up. It's hard for me to see a scenario, Ocho. Now, I don't know, and I forget who was in front of him, but it's hard for me to believe, based on what he was when he actually got in the game, he had shown you enough in training camp and mini camps and OTAs, that yeah, this guy deserves to start right now. It's just hard for me to see that scenario.
10:36And so, when I look at it like that, they didn't do him
10:41Shannon Sharpe:They didn't do any favors, and he didn't do himself any favors. Yeah.
10:48Shannon Sharpe:That position, you got to know everything frontwards and backwards. Every position. Not only do you know what they're doing. You got to know what you're doing. You got to know what everybody on the offensive line. Hey, look here, man. Receivers. Running back. I know we're supposed to be going real, but let me and Liz this. And let's throw hot. Let's throw hot at the guy coming in my face. Not the guy that's going to drill me in the back. Not only do you got to know what. Pause. Not only do you got to know what you have to do. Not only do you have to know what the quarterback, you have to do, what the entire offense, you better know what that defense is doing.
11:22Shannon Sharpe:Oh, yeah, you got to. You better know what they're doing, Ocho. You got to.
11:29Shannon Sharpe:But I just hope the young man, I hope the young man finds a home, somebody have some patience, and
11:40Shannon Sharpe:he develops. Somebody develops him. But see, the problem is, Ocho, is that if I trade for him, I got to take the contract.
11:52Chad Johnson:Yeah.
11:55Shannon Sharpe:I like him. I ain't in love with him. I like him. I mean, man, I like this outfit. if it was$500 cheaper. I'd like the quarterback, Ocho, if I could get him at minimum. Mm-hmm.
12:16So, but
12:18Shannon Sharpe:I think the first five, the contracts are guaranteed. Yeah.
12:24Chad Johnson:Yep, it is what it is. I wish him the best, though. I hope he finds him somewhere where he can develop. And what he has to do is is he has to make football his number one priority. I don't think football was his number one priority. It wasn't. From what I'm hearing, it wasn't. He has his other passions, and he's putting those other passions before the game of football.
12:49Shannon Sharpe:Not when you young coming in. Get you about 10 years in the league. Yeah. Then. Tom, if you go back and look at most of these guys, they didn't really do nothing until they were really, really established. Right. You got to win something first, bro. You can't be trying to get in all the commercials and you ain't won nothing. Right. I get it. You know, everybody, oh, man, you man got to have something. You got to do something. You can't be football 24-7. Well, if you play that position and you want to be good at it, it better be.

13:24Chad Johnson:And everything else will take care of itself after that.
13:27Shannon Sharpe:There you go. The NFL Network cameras captured Aaron Glenn, the Jets' head coach, after 3-14 rookie season, appearing to nap as prospects like Texas Tech David Bailey ran to 40-yard dashes. This obviously went viral. Ocho, is this a big deal or no? They're going to make it a big deal.
13:49Chad Johnson:Huh?
13:50Shannon Sharpe:They're going to make it a big deal.
13:51Chad Johnson:Yeah, I mean, they're going to make it a big deal. I mean, Mr. Glenn was obviously sleepy. try to, you know, try to, I don't call them naps. I call it a quick little blink. He took an extended blink. I don't think it's a big deal. Obviously, it's not just you there as a head coach. Obviously, we have a team of people there to let you know if there's anything that you might miss. You're doing your homework. You have scouts. That's what the damn scouts are for. I mean, yeah, you have everybody you need to there. So I'm sure people will make it a big deal because you are the head coach. Honestly, it's really not, man.
14:23Chad Johnson:Get your little nap in, whatever it may be. It's a long day. You've had a long day. People don't know what goes in and entails in being a head coach and all the hours that they put in, especially around draft time.
14:34Shannon Sharpe:Oh, you up early.
14:35Chad Johnson:Long time.
14:36Shannon Sharpe:Because you probably got your meeting with your staff before you head over there. So they probably up at the crack of dawn. They got meetings with players. You know, you get your players that you want to talk to, okay, have a conversation with them. for the most part they're not going to be like time because you know you have meetings obviously time's going to come off the board the Giants call time in there time's sitting down he's looking around he's like hold on where y 'all pick pick 15 he's like nah I ain't going to even be there what's up I
15:13Chad Johnson:what pick the time go
15:16Shannon Sharpe:pride went 5 ok pride went 5
15:20Chad Johnson:Well, hold on. Who the hell went in front of him?
15:22Shannon Sharpe:Troy Aikman. Okay. Tony Mandarich, Barry Sanders, Derek Thomas, Prime.
15:29Chad Johnson:Okay, understandable. Understandable. Understandable.
15:32Shannon Sharpe:Because they got four of the first five in the hall. Yeah. Yeah.
15:38Chad Johnson:Hey, Tony Mandarich.
15:42Shannon Sharpe:Ooh. What happened? Oh, Broderick Thomas.
15:54Shannon Sharpe:Can you name the guys that went after Prime? Where did they go? I know what brother was. He went to Tampa. Steelers, Steelers. Who went to the Steelers?

17:19Shannon Sharpe:because all of them was in the same backfield. Tim Worley, Lars Tate, Rodney Hampton. Hampton came out of my draft and went to the Giants. It's some good picks. Lars Tate? Lars. L-A-R-S, Lars.
17:35Chad Johnson:It's some good picks in this first round. I ain't seen some of these names in a minute. Where did Lars Tate go? Where'd he go?
17:41Shannon Sharpe:He had to be in that draft. He wasn't in my draft.
17:52Shannon Sharpe:Oh, he was in 88? He came out with my brother then. Wow, I didn't know that.
18:01Shannon Sharpe:It's Lars. I was like, damn. David Bailey, he put on a show too, Ocho, from Texas Tech. Yeah. Yeah, he put a show on today. But look, anytime you're a coach, you're going to make a big deal out of it. So you just have to be mindful. The camera's looking to catch everything. They're looking to catch everything, bro. 22:38Shannon Sharpe:Ocho, Ryan Post's NFL rule awarding two third-round picks if a minority coach or executive leaves to become the GM or head coach is a strange rule. Let's take a listen to what he had to say, guys. Yeah, I mean, I'll be honest. I think it is a little strange. I mean, at the end of the day, you should want to develop your staff regardless of the color of their skin. I think that's important. I think we take a lot of pride with the Bears on how we have our setup. And I take a lot of pride in that. So to be compensated for that's a little strange. I mean, I saw the Chiefs get a pick because of me, and then I watched that player go and play.
23:17Shannon Sharpe:It's just a little odd. But at the end of the day, if they think that's what's best to help incentivize, then that's what they wanted to do.
23:28Chad Johnson:I mean, the fact that they have to incentivize anything, that tell you all you need to know right there. There's an opportunity that we can make our team, we can help our team get better, you know, by hiring X, Y and Z. Why does you have to incentivize it? You know why? And it doesn't mean anything. doesn't mean anything. And the fact that they have to do that in 2026 tells you all you need to know. The fact that we're still fighting... Never mind. You understand what I'm trying to say. Joe, they have to incentivize teams with picks in the draft just to hire minorities.
24:06Shannon Sharpe:Really? Remember Ocho and I was just having a conversation about incentivizing? If somebody don't want to do it, what's not going to happen, Joe? That's not what he does. You done? Ocho sit down. He done stole. You see it, Joe? He done stole my safe.
24:26Shannon Sharpe:Man, you dirty, Ocho.
24:28Chad Johnson:My bad. My bad. Hey, I've been using that with my kids and all. I done stole it. My bad.
24:35Shannon Sharpe:And that's the thing. And the thing is, like, if somebody is unmotivated or not incentivized to do something, they're not going to do it. No matter what. They got to want to do it. And I think Ryan Pohl's has done a great job. I think he's done a great job. You look at Caleb Wade, you look at the Roman Dunsley, you see the trade for DJ Moore, you see Burton, you see Loveland, you see Joe Thune, and you see the guys that they brought in. So I think he's done a great job. I think he's done a great job. But I think there are a lot of other people that could do a great job. But in order for me to do the job, Ocho, you got to at least give me a chance to do the job, right?
25:17Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. Right. You don't know how well I can stack the shelf, sweep the floor, be a cashier, be a manager. You don't know how well I can do anything if you don't present the opportunity for me to be able to do said thing what you're asking. Right. You don't know what a person can or can't do if you don't give them an opportunity. Sometimes, and that's what it comes down to. They didn't know how well I could play in the game. Wade Phillips say, damn, put his ass in the game. We can't cover him in practice. Hell, let's see if they can cover him. They had no idea. They was like, well, hell, let's see.
25:55Shannon Sharpe:I didn't know what the hell I was doing, but I played well enough to like, well, damn, if he actually knows what the hell he's doing, he might be a pretty good player. Right. So if you give somebody an opportunity, you don't know if a person can or can't do something if you don't give them an opportunity. That's all I'm saying. And like you said, you gotta wanna give somebody that opportunity, Ocho. But you gotta get, because here's the thing, Ocho, Joe, sometimes you just familiar with somebody. Hey, Ocho, man, I got a homeboy, and say such and such, he can get you that car. You got a homeboy?
26:29Shannon Sharpe:He can get me a Tesla? Or he can get me a Benz, he can get me this? Okay, let's go check it out. That's your homeboy, he vouched for it. That's how coaching worked. I got a good coach I think he got what it takes to be a good head coach I think you know just rise him up let him be an assistant let him be a pass game coordinator let him be this you see how they advance that's all you got to do but you have to be willing to give somebody that chance I don't know man
27:06Chad Johnson:they not happening not happening it hadn't happened by the i mean
27:16Chad Johnson:it's just i just i just don't understand i love i love fighting the fight i love fighting the good fight hey i like that part but uncle joe the point of fighting for a spot where people don't even want you there it makes absolutely no sense because when they do put you there they're going and put you in situations that aren't good for you. Oh, yeah. They give you the bad jobs. They're going to give you the jobs. I mean, Joe, you really got chances to succeed.
27:45Shannon Sharpe:They gave him one year. They got Josh Rosen. Then boom, he out. And then they get Kyler Murray. Set you up for failure.
27:51Chad Johnson:Hey, that's what they're going to give you.
27:56Shannon Sharpe:I mean, Byron Lefkowitz actually called plays for a Super Bowl winning game. still couldn't get one he and i think he i think he on time staff at cu they see you yeah you saying he never could get a chance to be a head coach hey he got demoted i mean they they let him go and he was close oh joe he interviewed for the job at jacksonville and then a few years later the same oc and liam corin did an unbelievable job i'm not saying that
28:28Chad Johnson:hasn't he's done an unbelievable job good yeah but he interviewed he got the job yeah that's all
28:35Shannon Sharpe:that's all smoking is anytime they bring people in and but the problem was i think what i think i could be wrong chad and i don't i don't really want to i don't really want to um but i think that he had a problem with the general manager liam cohen says look i'll take the job but the general manager he got to go
28:56Chad Johnson:Oh, that's right.
28:57Shannon Sharpe:Sha Khan said, you'll take this job if I get rid of general manager? He said, I sure will. Hey, come up here and you ain't got no playbook, but bring your pass card. Your keypad, your keypad. Bring that with your cup.
29:10Chad Johnson:Hey, bring your car key too.
29:12Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. So, look, and that's the thing. But if you think about it, Ocho, it's not a whole lot of, most of the time when you see coordinators, black coordinators, is there on the defensive side. There are not a handful of black offensive coordinators. No. Why is that?
29:30Chad Johnson:Now there's a handful of position coaches on the offensive side. That's the best about it.
29:37Shannon Sharpe:Running back, wide receivers, high end.
29:39Chad Johnson:Wide receivers, yep.
29:41Shannon Sharpe:Why is that? Why is no blacks, no black OCs?
29:50Shannon Sharpe:Your guess is as good as mine, Joe.
29:52Chad Johnson:But I mean, hold on. What about the enemy?
29:55Shannon Sharpe:Yeah.
29:57Chad Johnson:Do we credit Andy Reid because he's the one that's actually pulling the strings?
30:01Shannon Sharpe:Man, what you call him got a job? Think about all the coaches that have gotten hired off Sean McVay's staff and not called no plays.
30:10Chad Johnson:Okay.
30:11Shannon Sharpe:All the coaches that got hired off of Kyle Shanahan's staff that don't call plays on the offensive side of football.
30:17Chad Johnson:Right. They use that if they don't want to give you the job.
30:21Shannon Sharpe:If they want you to have the job, it don't give a damn. Well, he was a janitor. Okay, yeah, I think you'll make a great head coach then. Okay. Cause he can sweep up some booze, you know.
30:35Shannon Sharpe:Man, please.
30:43Shannon Sharpe:Ocho, think about this. Think about this, think about this, Joe Ocho.
30:49Shannon Sharpe:Phillip Rivers interviewed for the Buffalo Bills head coaching job. He calling plays in high school.
31:01Shannon Sharpe:We're not getting no opportunity like that. Hell, it's hard for us to get a job, and we've been calling plays, defensive, offensive plays for years in the NFL. Yeah, yeah. Hey, come on now. We just got to get on. I keep it real.
31:19Shannon Sharpe:but it's hard well I just want to hire the best man for the job well who said he's the best man for the job how you know I ain't the best man for the job
31:35Shannon Sharpe:that's why I love the actual playing of sports because you can find out who the best man for the job with you.
31:44Chad Johnson:Oh yeah.
31:45Shannon Sharpe:And you can find out who the best man for the job.
31:47Chad Johnson:Hey, and it don't take long to find out either. At all.
31:51Shannon Sharpe:Oh, you know, hey, only one of you guys can play. Oh, you said, hold on.
31:58Shannon Sharpe:Okay. Say no more. Yeah. Well, they got a position on the other side. You can play the X, but the Z gonna be occupied. So I hope you like playing on the ball because you will never take one snap off the ball as the Z receiver. That's me. Right. Hey, hey. Hey, they remind me of my rookie year. It was three of us, three of us rookies winning the first round. He came to us. He said, two of y 'all going to have to be on IR every game. I said, okay. I never went on IR, fellas. I ain't going to. Hey, Joe, it wasn't going to be you, huh? It wasn't going to be me. It was not going to be me, Ocho. That's it.
32:43Shannon Sharpe:Hey, coach put the job up, Ocho. We was alternating back and forth. Come my sophomore year, Coach Davis said, hey, every job is available. Every job. I'm a quarterback, running back, wide receiver. After that first practice, he said, called us up, he smoked a cigarette. He got down home. It was a great day, first day of practice. You guys gave it hell. He said, I appreciate that. He said, as long as I'm the head coach, there's 23 positions available. The Z receiver is shallow sharp as long as I'm here. All right, have a good day.
33:23Shannon Sharpe:Hey, you must be out there cutting rug, ain't you? He called us up before practice and said, every job is available. Okay, that's all I needed to hear. Because I had already told him, I said, coach, I can't show you what I can do. I said, look, because me, it was me, Squirrel. It was a couple of guys. I said, Coach, rotate. I said, I can't show you what I can do, Coach, rotate. I said, just put the job up. I said, Coach, if I don't win the job, I'll rotate. I'll do. I said, if you needed me to move, go to the other side of the ball. I'm fine with that. I said, but just put the job up. Coach Davis said, hey, there's 22 positions available.
34:00Shannon Sharpe:Say no more. Boy, when I say I cut up,
34:06Chad Johnson:Yeah.
34:08Shannon Sharpe:They'll smoke that cigarettes at home.
34:13Shannon Sharpe:There's 21 positions available now.
34:19Shannon Sharpe:That was it. And A, and A left the field since. But see, in a coach, Ocho, somebody comes in and is like, well, I really like your scheme. I like the way they organize this, and I like the practices, and I like the meeting schedule, and I like how, you know, we're going to leave.
34:40Shannon Sharpe:But at some, I mean, everybody pretty much doing the same thing, Ocho. You know you're leaving an X amount of time. You're going to probably get there by 5.30 in the afternoon. You're going to have 8 o 'clock special teams meeting. You're going to have 9 o 'clock, you know, where the coach comes to stand in front of y 'all, and then you're going to break up and go get a snack and take your ass to bed. Your practice schedule. Okay, what do you do? okay after the game we come in and get run watch a little film you get tuesdays off okay we back at it on wednesday back at it thursday got a half a day friday you come in do walk through on saturdays and get ready to catch the plane if you're going out of town or go get your rest because you got to check in the hotel got to check in the hotel by seven o 'clock
35:23Shannon Sharpe:i don't know what's so complicated about it that's just me but hey yeah it is not and it
35:29Chad Johnson:It ain't complicated at all.
35:32Shannon Sharpe:Hey, you guys be moving around during the week, don't you? But I be seeing, hey, I be seeing football players everywhere during the week. Oh, yeah. You never know who you going to run into. Don't want me, though. Let them boys be at. That way you, that way you are. I went out, I think I went out probably about three times. Who, me? About three times a year.
35:50Chad Johnson:Boy, Joe, I was on the video game, Joe.
35:53Shannon Sharpe:Three times a year counting, not counting rookie night out. You know, because a rookie got to take the boy, You gotta take us out, gotta get me a car. I need a limo. You sent me a limo. Man, Sharp man, why can't we just have a limo pick you up and then go pick up everybody else? I say, cause I don't wanna ride with nobody else. I want a limo by myself. Send the limo to my house. When they call, I'll tell the gate, let them in, they gonna come pick me up. Cause I know y 'all gonna wanna go after. Y 'all gonna wanna go somewhere afterwards. I'm going to eat and then I'm going home. Right, right.
36:26Chad Johnson:Hey, hey, man, ooh, well, you know, I just thought about, what? Man, guess where I gotta fly to this weekend. Where? Man, I gotta go to Houston.
36:36Shannon Sharpe:Ah, let us know how it is.
36:39Chad Johnson:No, I ain't going for that. It's the SEC Championship track meet. You know, University of Illinois, maybe running Kentucky. Yeah, they running at Texas A &M.
36:49Shannon Sharpe:Oh, yeah? Well, that's not really Houston. That's far, ain't it? That's College Park, College Station. I'm talking about that college park, college station.
36:57Chad Johnson:I don't know nothing about that. That's a long way. I'm not sure. Joe, you know Joe. How long you gonna be out there?
37:04Shannon Sharpe:How far as college station?
37:05Chad Johnson:I got it Friday. I fly in Friday. 90 minutes though, Joe. Oh, that ain't bad. And I leave, I'm probably gonna leave Saturday night. She runs, she runs Saturday night. And when she run, I'm probably gonna get out. I mean, I don't wanna be out there like that. I'm in and out. She be getting, your daughter be getting busy out there? Yeah, yeah, she's nice with her, Joe. She's nice with her. I'm curious what would happen if we were to race right now. Who?
37:30Shannon Sharpe:What?
37:31Chad Johnson:Me and my baby.
37:32Shannon Sharpe:Boy, you gonna pull all your muscles.
37:38Chad Johnson:I don't think so, aunt. You think you'd get her? I think so.
37:43Shannon Sharpe:Like, realistically, keep it 100.
37:45Chad Johnson:Hey, Joe, you know, I don't lie about nothing, Joe. I would never allow my child to beat me, Joe. I'd trip her before she passed me, Joe. Yeah. I would not live to hear that. No, sir. That must have been.
38:00Shannon Sharpe:Would I be able to show? Wish I could. I just want to be able to walk briskly. Damn running. Running is out of the question, Ocho. Ain't no way running for the kid. The last time I ran was 2009. I'm talking about ran, ran. Like opened up?
38:19Chad Johnson:Damn, you ain't ran since then? And you know what you should do? You should just try to run and just open up and see what happens. I already know what's going to happen. No. Ain't going to be no more serious.
38:29Shannon Sharpe:I ain't carrying no hamstring, no quad, no Achilles. Ain't none of that. That's over. All I need to be able to do is get on the assault bike, get on the concept bike, do the erg, the row machine, which is the row machine, or do the ski erg. That's it. If I can do that, I'm good. That's all the cardio I need. Oh, yeah, you can do that. Once I get this knee back right, give me about five weeks. I'll be right back. Hey, man, we all should get in the weight room together, man. I ain't saying like, you know, we ain't trying to max out nothing. Hey, come on, Joe. Hey, we can max out, Joe. OK. I know we all got three different body types.
39:11Shannon Sharpe:Y 'all lift. No, no, no, no, whoa, whoa, whoa.
39:14Chad Johnson:What you mean three? I'm built like an IBF pro. No, that's what I'm saying.
39:20Shannon Sharpe:I'm saying y 'all probably lift a lot different from me. That's what I'm saying. But I think we can get in there, man, get us a good little lifting session in.
39:27Chad Johnson:You know, get a good pump. I like that. I like that. Hey, hey, Joe, you seen the picture of me and T.O. today? Yeah. You see how much big I am to T.O. now?
39:37Shannon Sharpe:Nah.
39:38Chad Johnson:Nah. Look at the picture real quick, Joe. Where your phone at? My phone right here, bro. Go to my Instagrams.
39:44Shannon Sharpe:All right, let me go to your Instagrams.
39:46Chad Johnson:Go to my Instagram. Look at the main. Hey, look how much big I am to T.O. I saw it. T playing pickleball right now. So he done slimmed down a little bit
39:55Shannon Sharpe:because he's really good. But T.O was muscly. He just don't have the muscle density that he once had. But T.O, I mean, T.O has always been, he's always. Oh yeah, oh, he ain't hella shape, what? T.O has always been. He's never not going to be. I see. Yeah, Ocho, I seen you on here repping, got the ISO hoodie on there. Yeah, see, hey, Joe, that's why I told you to look because I got on your hoodie, Joe. I had seen this earlier, man. I seen it. I see you be out here repping for you, boy. I appreciate it, man. Yeah, I'm repping for you, boy, Joe.
40:26Chad Johnson:Yeah.
40:26Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, that's me. That's me. That's me. What's your rep scheme, Joe? I'm normally anywhere from 15, 20 reps. See, I do 12 or 15. I'm saying I can couple miles. I can come down. I'm more of a tut guy, time under tension. so I'm one, two, three down yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, I'm one, two, three one, two, three, four down, pause, back up yeah, man, we get a good little session in, I probably could even learn a little something from y 'all, man, yeah, I got you, Joe
41:01Chad Johnson:hey, Joe, I'll teach you a little something in that weight room, Joe yeah, you get down like that hey, boy, hey, boy, ain't number iron moving in that thing with me, Joe ain't number iron
41:11Shannon Sharpe:Joe, hey, I put it up and put it down, Joe, I gotta save my joints my bad I still could probably get I probably still get like 315 probably like 8 to 10

46:42Chad Johnson:All right. Hey, Joe, I'm for the wedding, I'm for the wedding thing the next three weeks, boy. You notice I done had my pants on in every picture for the last month. Hey, it ain't cold out there in Florida? Yeah, man, like 50 degrees right now.
46:58Shannon Sharpe:Joe, you ever did cross fish? Hey, listen.
47:00Chad Johnson:Huh?
47:01Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I have. I have. I used to be on the roll machine. I could have been competitive on the roll machine. Yeah, I could do the best I've done. I've done 1 ,000 meters in like 257, 258. Man. Hey, Unk, them good numbers. What? I'm telling you I could have been good. Yeah, I could have been good at that. They're good numbers. Man, I had one of them hydro roll machines, Unk, that you look like you can be in a different place. I had one too. Man, my dang on dog ate the thing up, man. Aw, he ate the cable up, the seat and everything. Wait, the dog? Yeah, man. He not trained, Joe? Nah, I had just got him.
47:41Shannon Sharpe:I had just got him, Ocho. And where I had him at, he was in there with some of my weight equipment. And the seat, you know, the seat kind of like, got like this little cushion. I don't know if he just thought it was something that he tore it up. Right, okay. Hey, let me know if you need some training. I did 50 calories in a minute. Damn. Wait, which one? You hauling. Yeah. Okay, okay, okay. That's upper and lower. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I was really, really, really, really, really, really. Man, before my hips got bad, I could do like 30, 32 burpees in a minute. 30, 32, 33 burpees in a minute.
48:23Chad Johnson:Hey, hey, hey, I be hitting them jailhouse burpees.
48:28Shannon Sharpe:What? Look.
48:40Chad Johnson:Hey, yeah, hey, you know, hey, hey, Joe and I were locked up. Boy, Joe, I used to get crazy.
48:45Shannon Sharpe:Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Huh? What you locked up for?
48:49Chad Johnson:Boy, Joe, we don't need to bring up no pass, boy, Joe. You know, I did a little time, though.
48:53Shannon Sharpe:I like to know the type of people I'm hanging out with.
48:55Chad Johnson:Tell me what you - Oh, hey, Joe, I'm a good dude. I just, you know, I try to flash straight, Joe, but, you know, I veered off track for a little bit, man. God got me, though. He got you? Yeah, he got me. Okay, okay. Hey, Joe, if your dog trained, because you know I do canine training, too, on the weekends out here in Miami.
49:16Shannon Sharpe:Nah, mine trained, he trained. He tried. Hey. Now you talking about anatomy chart? You talking about, hey, Ocho. Who that is? That's me.
49:30Shannon Sharpe:That boy said he was head with his wind. Boy, you swole, boy. What, boy? Huh? Boy, I'm swole, boy. Damn.
49:45Shannon Sharpe:Man, how y 'all be having y 'all traps so big like that? What y 'all be doing? Hey, Joe, you want me to show you, Joe? It's like, it's all football play. All y 'all walk around with them big, big traps. Something like this, Joe. Them shoulder shrugs. Yeah, what? Nah, man, I was doing, I was eating around the clock, so I would wake up every two hours, because I wanted to see how far I could push myself. Man, I got up to like, I was probably two, I was two, I think I was 257 in that picture. Ooh. But I was lean to Ocho. I'm talking about like an anatomy chart. Yeah. I see you.
50:26Chad Johnson:I see you. And you know you can get back there.
50:28Shannon Sharpe:No, man, I don't want to. No, no, no, no. That's too much, Ocho. It takes too much. I mean, you got to eat. I mean, you got to eat every two. I may be eating every two and a half hours around the clock. And I got to get this. Damn. Nah, nah. I don't want to do that no more.
50:42Chad Johnson:Eating every two hours?
50:43Shannon Sharpe:Two and a half hours, yeah. That's the only way you can grow.
50:47Chad Johnson:Hey, and see, that's my damn problem. Joe, there's something wrong with me. I don't know if it's because I drink coffee. Joe, I eat one time a day, Joe. And I be good, man, my baby be trying to get me to eat. You hungry? And I'm like, no, I ain't really got no appetite. But I think it's the fact that I drink so much coffee, so many, whether it's Starbucks or lattes, it suppresses my hunger, and I be content eating one big meal a day.
51:11Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, but you do too much cardio. You're not gonna grow, because you do too much cardio. See, like once I get to a certain weight, now I'm just trying to like, I do like cardio, but not excessively because I want to strip it. I want to strip, you know, I still want to maintain the muscle, but take some of the fat off. But if you do too much cardio. Right.
51:31Chad Johnson:See, I can't stop playing soccer, Joe. That's my problem. Yeah, you ain't number running.
51:37Shannon Sharpe:I can't help it. The Cowboys and Brandon Albury's agent agreed that he should be the highest paid kicker in the NFL, but there's a disagreement over how much per ESPN's Todd Archer. Dallas has offered a deal to the restricted free agent kicker that would that is more than the league high$6.4 million. I think Harrison Buckner gets that from the Kansas City Chiefs. They offered him a deal more than that, but he's looking, I think Todd Francis' agent, who Todd Francis also represents Dak Prescott, but he's looking for a deal in the neighborhood of$10 million per year, Ocho and Joe.
52:12Chad Johnson:I like that, and he's and he's worth that. Brother Aubrey is worth that because when he gets that 10 million, my best friend, very good friend of mine, he's the kicker down there, right up north. He should get 11. He's going to get, he should get 11. Are you talking about Cam Loodle? You're goddamn right.
52:31Shannon Sharpe:Goddamn right.
52:32Chad Johnson:So I'm waiting on Aubrey. I hope Brother Aubrey is blessed. You know, Brother Aubrey come from a soccer background. He was very, very good. He was the defender. You know, when he plays soccer, So he has a soccer background, which is why he's able to kick the ball. And it looks so effortless. Hey, Joe, boy, he got a pretty swing, Joe. It looked like he's not even trying. But you look up, he kicking from 65. He kicking from 66, from 67, right down the middle.
53:00Shannon Sharpe:Oh, yeah, he did his thing. He did his thing.
53:03Chad Johnson:He's going to reset the market for these kickers, boy. It's going to get out of hand. Yeah, he worth every penny, boy.
53:09Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, but no, everybody ain't worth that kind of money because everybody ain't got that kind of leg and they got that kind of accuracy. No, no, no, no, no.
53:16Chad Johnson:It's about maybe three, three kicks in the league, Joe. Yeah. That kind of leg like that. But not only do they have that kind of leg for that kind of distance, they also accurate with it. The problem is the further you go out, the harder it is to be accurate. Oh.
53:33Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, you got up here like a disco.
53:39Shannon Sharpe:Mm-hmm. but no it's yeah i mean he gonna get it he should i mean i think yeah how many kicks he got he got like eight kicks from 60 yards with a longer 65 well got a foot on one
54:01well speaking of what's that what uh your boy gonna have to go up under the knife oh joe joe
54:09Shannon Sharpe:You do? You do? Damn. I got a, I got a, damn. I got a, no, I'm good. I got a partial, I got a partial tear of my, my medial meniscus. Oh, man. That's an, that's in your,
54:29Chad Johnson:hey, that's in your knee, huh? Right here.
54:33Shannon Sharpe:Damn. Are you sure you need surgery? Well, I gotta go see the orthopedic, I got an MRI yesterday. And they gave. What did they say? No, I'm bone on bone on the lateral. Right. With arthritis, severe arthritis. But I got a slight chair. I still got some cartilage in the medial side. So I'm going to see what they're going to do. Do they're going to go in there and cut and snip? What are they going to do? Are they going to do a complete repair? Or do they cut and snip? Man, you trying to catch up with your boy under that knife. Damn. Oh, I might've been bowling. Oh, so you did it when you were bowling?
55:17Shannon Sharpe:Oh man, good thing he was. Man, why don't I sit like that? Man, why uncle, why you think I sit like that? My ish was on fire. Okay, okay. And then, and then standing, cause think about it, we did all that in one day, and then all that standing for Netflix. Yeah. Yeah. It didn't swell up on anything. It didn't swell. It didn't swell. It didn't swell. It was sore. But I just noticed, I was like, well, damn. How the? I was like, man, it just hurt so bad. First, when I got home, I had to go up the steps. I was like, well, damn, my knee hurting. But I was like, you know what? Hey, I've been on the plane.
55:50Shannon Sharpe:I've been standing. I just flew six hours, black cross country. I was like, I'll be all right in the morning. And boy, I tried to come down the steps. Man, I was like my dog. I was scooting down to step one, two, three.
56:08Chad Johnson:Hold on, hold on. I got a question there, right? Not, you know, health is, health is, what's most important. But does this mean we not doing nightcap outside no more?
56:22Shannon Sharpe:We are. We just, you know, we just had to, you know, take a couple of days off. I'll be back better than ever. and I was just getting into a swinger thing. I'm doing my cardio. I'm getting six hours of cardio a week. I was like, I was feeling so good. Yeah. Man. Damn. But I knew something was wrong. I told myself, I said, I'm getting there. She said, what's wrong? She said, probably just, I said, nah, I'm living something wrong. I said, I think I told my meniscus. She said, how? I said, I don't want to tell you. Hey, hey, hey, hold on, hold on. Hey, when we had them injuries, we be knowing. Because, boy, let me tell y 'all something.
57:06Shannon Sharpe:When I tore out, when I blew out this patella tendon, Yeah. You know what happened? I got right on the plane, so you know what's going on. Oh, my goodness, Joe. It smell up. But when I got home, my lady told me, I was like, how are you? You going to be all right? Put some ice on it. I'm steady. I'm steady telling her. I'm like, man, let me tell you something. This thing here ain't right. I ain't never felt like this. Did it roll up, Joe? Did it roll up your quad? Yeah, it rolled, not all the way, but it rolled up enough to where like, if I'm sitting straight, if I'm sitting, I can't lift, I couldn't lift my leg at all.
57:41Shannon Sharpe:You know what I mean? I could still walk and you can, I could tell because I'm walking the stairs, I'm like every week it kind of kept getting better, but I'm like, it wasn't good enough to be out there doing no moving. I can tell you that. So I went on, got that MRI and it was a wrap. Man, man, you talking about getting up, going to the bathroom, Mocho? Because once that leg be done, that thing be done. Boy, I was like, Lord, have a reason. I said, I need to let some plastic down. I should just pee in the bed. It's my bed. Hey, hey. Hey, with this patella, boy, it ain't how you thinking that for real.
58:16Shannon Sharpe:Man, I'm like, ooh, Lord. I mean, I really, truly try to stop. I mean, because, Chad, y 'all know I used to drink tea. I mean, I used to drink, you know. Man, I try to stop drinking water by five o 'clock. I eat at 7.30, just eat a plate of food and no water. No drink, no nothing.
58:35Chad Johnson:So you ain't gotta get up, huh?
58:37Shannon Sharpe:Hold on, hey, Ocho, with this patella, they gave me this big jug. Yeah, you ain't gonna be, because the first couple days, you can't even get out of bed. You just gotta keep it straight. Oh, they gave you that goose, Ocho. You know what normally they give you that goose like they would give you in the hospital? You have to... Boy, listen, hey, I had that thing filled up. Because you know now, they won't let you leave unless you pee. The hospital. Yeah. They won't? Nope. So I was like, hey, go on and give me that juice. Go on and give me that goose. Yeah. Yeah, you go, yeah. Mr. Sharp, you need some help?
59:16Shannon Sharpe:No, I need y 'all to get up out of here.
59:20Shannon Sharpe:I need y 'all to get up out of here. and when y 'all come back, I have something for you. When I did my hips, Joe, when I did my hips, I got my hips done, I probably got them done at like 10. It's like an hour and a half surgery. So they take you down to the recovery room. They like, Mr. Sharp, Mr. Sharp. Right, right. I can hear Shelly, Shannon, Shannon. I said, yeah. I said, it's over with? She's like, yeah, your surgery done. You did well, Mr. Sharp. I'm like, has anybody done bad in surgery? But okay, I would take your word for you said I did good. Okay. It's like, well, Mr. Sharp, I mean, as soon as you can get up and walk, you gotta walk up and down a flight of stairs, you know, three times, walk down the hall and we'll let you go.
1:00:09Shannon Sharpe:I said, excuse me? It's like, yeah, if you walk up and down, you walk up and down the hall and fly the stairs a couple of times, we'll let you go. I said, Shelly, help me get up. Yeah.
1:00:21Shannon Sharpe:That's a help me get up. I'm down with you, I'm getting up out here. You ready to go, huh? Absolutely. And that was tough though, wasn't it? What? Joe, man. But, and the doctor told me, he said, Mr. Sharp, he said, you're not gonna feel any pain. He said, the only pain you're gonna feel is where we actually went in. Because they go in, take the ball out. You know, you got a ball, like a big gumball. They take it out. It's like, Mr. Sharp, do you want it? I'm like, what the hell I'm gonna do with it? I mean, it ain't no trophy to me, old JoJo. It ain't no trophy. Man, throw that issue away. So, man, I got up there, Shelly helped me down.
1:01:00Shannon Sharpe:Whoop, whoop, I walked up and down the face. She's like, slow down, you're gonna fall. I said, man, please, I need to get up out of here. I'm walking up and down. Hey, I'm like, doc, y 'all looking?
1:01:14Shannon Sharpe:That's like, they was like, Mr. Sharp, but they won't let you walk out of the hospital. and they put you in a wheelchair. Cause we got, you know, they're not finna fall on their watches and own the hospital. So they put me in a wheelchair, walked me to the thing, man I jumped in there so quick. Then they gave you all these instructions, no driving, no operating, no heavy machinery, blah, blah, blah. But, three days I was driving, drove myself to rehab. Hey, hold on though, when they numb, when they numb and stuff wore off, how was you out there? You had to take like pain medicine, No, no, no, no.
1:01:49Shannon Sharpe:Well, what happened was, Joe and Ocho, they gave me something that I had allergic reaction to. So I ended up having to get rushed to UCLA Medical Clinic. I'm just breaking this news to y 'all. Y 'all didn't know this, so. So I'm glad that didn't nobody see me. But I had to go because I had allergic reaction. Hives everywhere, face swollen. Damn. I'm talking about everywhere. I'm talking about arms, torso, all down my back, and my throat started to close. So I had a large reaction. They don't know what. They said, well, Mr. Sharp, we would literally have to give you some of everything that we gave you to find out what the reaction to.
1:02:29Shannon Sharpe:So they would literally have to stick me, wait 10 minutes to see if that caused it, stick me. I said, oh, hell no, I'm good. We'll figure it out. I said, just give me. Guess what? Go back, have the other one done. The same reaction. What? Yup, the exact same reaction. Oh, man.
1:02:51Chad Johnson:Damn, but y 'all boy, y 'all boy like little pincushions, boy. God, dude.
1:02:56Shannon Sharpe:Chill, chill, chill, chill.
1:02:57Chad Johnson:I'm just saying. Chill, chill.
1:03:00Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey, hey, this is sensitive subject, bro. This is sensitive subject. I know, I know.
1:03:04Chad Johnson:I feel you. I feel you. I commend you. I commend you. Joe, they talking about you putting belt in me.
1:03:11Shannon Sharpe:Oh, man. Come on, man. Hey, come on now. Come on, come on. But hey, once I get this thing back, a rematch is on. Hold on, hold on. How long are we talking? How long are you now? It all depends. It all depends on what they do. I mean, it could be three to four weeks. It could be three to six months. Damn. Hey, hey, listen. Let's stick to like some shooting pool throwing. Oh, man, shooting pool. Hey. Boy, hey, I'm Efren Reyes and Earl Strickland. You don't want your home under this in the pool. He best in the house. Here y 'all go, here y 'all go. Here you go. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Man, y 'all don't want another slim.
1:03:49Shannon Sharpe:Old Georgia slim. Y 'all heard of Minnesota fans. Old Georgia slim. Bah! Hey, listen. Y 'all know what's going on. Yeah, but hey, man, look here. Like I said, hey, I was like, man. Got my homeboy Bucket, man. That joke gonna have both knees replaced. He had back, man, my homeboy was messed up. And like the last two years, he'd have had neck surgery, back surgery, and both knees replaced. Damn. Jesus. Hey, man, we got to get y 'all back moving. I was a triple jumper. I was a long jumper. Hey, like I said, there are some times I went out there on the football field, I ain't have no damn business out there.
1:04:35Shannon Sharpe:The way I was feeling, I ain't have no business out there. I know that. So that's why it's hard for me to have sympathy for guys. Look, I'm gonna go out there. I got to. I know my teammates counting on me, and I know it's a finite period of time in which I got to be great at this. Because once it's over, and that's why I was able to walk away, Joe Ochoa, I was in such peace, because I know I left it. Everything I had, I left it on that. Mm-hmm. Mm. I left it. I left no stone unturned as far as my eating, as far as my training, as far as my rest, as far as the way I met, the practice, I left nothing.
1:05:13Shannon Sharpe:I didn't owe the game nothing, and the game didn't owe me nothing. Now the game took a lot from me, but it gave me a lot too. Right. It gave me a lot. Absolutely. Absolutely. But, but hey, knock on wood, knock on wood Ocho, you ain't had no surgery, you ain't had me, hey you a damn near 50 years old, and ain't had no surgeries.
1:05:36Chad Johnson:I'm 58. I'm 58.
1:05:38Shannon Sharpe:Man, get the hell out there. Yeah, Joe, that's an asterisk, man. I was hurt. That's an asterisk. The game was so lots of... Joe, man, I told my meniscus like the third frame. We were right there, Joe. We were neck and neck. Chad, go back and look at it. Okay, Ocho, can I talk to Chad? Chad, I need y 'all to chime in on this, man. It wasn't even close for them to be coming up with all these them yeah you just you just you you you I know I know you I know you I know how
1:06:10Chad Johnson:you get down brother no I'm not I'm double honk said he was hurt I don't say he was hurt that's why he lost to you yeah I know what was wrong with you oh I don't bowl that's not something I do I don't bowl and I don't go so I'm doing things that you guys are familiar with so therefore 20 years Who?
1:06:29Shannon Sharpe:Me. I think the last time I bowled with the kids, it had to be like 2 ,000.
1:06:35Chad Johnson:Hey, don't start that. You talking about you got your own ball, your own shoes.
1:06:40Shannon Sharpe:Man, hey, listen, listen, listen. Y 'all athletes, though. Y 'all athletes, man. Y 'all supposed to be able to adapt quick. One of us is an athlete. Y 'all supposed to be able to pick stuff up. Looking at the other one, you couldn't tell he was an athlete.
1:06:51Chad Johnson:Who? Actually, I'm the best athlete out of us three. Huh?
1:06:58Shannon Sharpe:You might be as bad.
1:06:59Chad Johnson:I'm the best athlete out of us three. It was one of those days where I was like, K. Nah, that ain't had nothing to do with it. Hey, Joe, I was like, K. Cunningham another night. We know what I can do. I just ain't show up that day. But you know what?
1:07:12Shannon Sharpe:I'm going to be right back here. We're going to be right back here. I will see how y 'all talking when y 'all 58. Hey, hey, hey, 82 % of the chat. I appreciate y 'all chat. They said that it's not an asterisk. I'm sorry. Joe stop reading the comments, this is an ass to re-roll it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I told you I'm with the people, so I got to be in tune with what's going on. No, but I don't know, Ocho. I mean, the thing is like, you go to, guys used to have bowling things. And so you go to the bowling thing, you can get a bowling ball. Like, okay, you get shoes or you get a bowling ball. So, hey, I get a bowling ball made.
1:07:46Shannon Sharpe:Right, okay, okay. Ocho, you ain't. We used to have bowling tournaments at the Broncos. That was, you know, we have offense against defense. Yeah. and get the bowling ball made. Even here in Atlanta, we had events at bowling alley. Ocho, what y 'all were doing in Cincinnati? Nothing. What kind of events?
1:08:03Chad Johnson:I mean, Joe, I can't recall us ever doing no bowling, Joe.
1:08:08Shannon Sharpe:I'm gonna be honest with you. Man, we went to the movies. We went to the movies, like after practice, or OT doing OTAs or something. We all go to the movies. It'd be about 12 guys in the movie. Everybody, hey, everybody be in that thing I can't sleep by 30 minutes in. Somebody wakes up, hey man, you got some popcorn left? But no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, we did. We went bowling, damn it, like every Tuesday. And we be, nah, you see how I was acting bowling? Oh, it was worse than that with us. It's worse, oh yeah. Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah. Oh man, guys break dancing, doing the centipede. Guys dribbling the bowling ball like it's a basketball.
1:08:49Shannon Sharpe:Hey, you go to bowl, they bowl down the other lane. I said, man, y 'all be doing some kind of cheating, man. But no, it wasn't listening.
