0:00I turned off news altogether. I hate to say it, but I don't trust much of anything.

3:09Shannon Sharpe:Ocho, got some bad news. According to Adam Schefter, Michael Penix suffered a partially torn ACL in Sunday's game and his loss against the Panthers. Penix is seeking a second opinion, but this is not encouraging. This is expected to be the fifth season-ending injury for Penix in his eight college and NFL seasons. And his third ACL. He tore his ACL in 2018, 2020, and now he has a partially torn ACL in 2025. damn oh wait so so out of eight years he's been he's been injured five of the eight yep college including season ending see because one year i think he had a shoulder injury yes i think when he was at indiana if i'm not i might i might be wrong i could be wrong but i think when he was at indiana before he went to washington yep that sucks man that that that that totally sucks that that totally sucks i hate that i hate that for him um obviously they weren't having the season you know they they would want to have but i think obviously the growing pains and and being a rookie with it being you know your first time starting and getting the full reps um getting accustomed that to how the game flows and how it goes and and you know the ups and downs of of of being the starting quarterback for a franchise you need those reps you need those reps and i'm sure after this season ended he would have been much better yes being familiar with everything the system the play calling the the team just just everything together um damn that that that totally sucks to be for him to have a season in an injury and be behind a ball and at that point anything acl there's no need for a second opinion there's no need for a second opinion go in there get the work that needs to be done so you can get back that much faster going to the following year which you're having what six six seven maybe you got but i've got a good got a good six seven yeah I mean, look, it's November, so you have the surgery.

5:06Shannon Sharpe:So you got December, January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August. That's nine months. Yeah. You know. That's plenty of time. Is it the same leg? Is it the same knee? I just hope he can have a career like Thomas Davis. Thomas Davis tore his ACL three times and came back to be an all-world linebacker for the Carolina Panthers. So let's just hope if it's a situation like that, because he ended up having a very promising NFL career after tearing his ACL as many times as he did. Damn, man. That sucks. Something happened. Drake London got hurt as well. I saw something with Drake. Yeah. I think he's going to be out at least this week.

5:48Shannon Sharpe:Damn, man. Like these injuries, dude. The Falcons dropped the quarterback at the top 10, and paid a different quarterback$180 million to avoid being in the quarterback purgatory. Somehow, a year and a half later, they're in quarterback purgatory. Raheem Morris, after drafting Michael Pennings Jr. at number eight, we're talking about winning the NFC South and going to the playoffs. We don't want to be picking that high anymore. We don't want to be in that position. That helped us make this decision. Same thing to say that they're not going as well as they'd hoped. It didn't make sense to me that you pay Cousins that kind of money coming off the injury that he had and still sign a quarterback.

6:31Shannon Sharpe:A quarterback with, I get it, Ocho, but he still had an injury history. Yeah. Think about it. It's hard for me to see a scenario where they would select any other player at any other position that's coming off that his career would have been ended like four times before coming to the NFL. So let that sink in. let's just say he had five years and four of those years his season ended with a season-ended injury. You're probably not going in the top ten. Damn. But also – But I just hope he can – like I said, I hope he can have a Thomas Davis type. Yeah. Because Thomas ended up going to Pro Bowls and helping the team get to the Super Bowl.

7:13Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. But it's tough. I can just imagine rehab all over again, Ocho. And the thing is when you rehab, you can't train. No. You just hoping to get back to a point where you have functionality. Training is where you put your body into a situation where, A, you can call on it and you know it'll answer. You don't get to do that. You got to rehab. That ain't what you do with rehab. Rehab just gets you back to where you were. I'm trying to get farther than where I was.

7:45Shannon Sharpe:I mean, I feel bad for the young man. I hate injuries, dude, because I understand how much it sets players back. especially when you want to improve year to year. Yeah. The season ends, you want to improve in your game. You want to add new things to your game, you know, to be able to help, not just help you out, but help your coaches, help your players. Because the better you come back from a skill set, is the easier you make everyone else's job around you. That's what I always thought about. How can I make everyone else's job around me? All right, when we have a game or we got an offensive plan, Carson, you don't have to worry about me.

8:19Bob Bukowski, Marvin Lewis, you don't have to worry about me. and I just focus on the other 10, offensively, you already know I'm going to be there for you, no matter what you need. So I always try to put that mindset in the players. When you get in season, that's just coaching. That's just X's and O's. You're not getting any better in season. Nah.

8:40Shannon Sharpe:You put the work for you to maintain your strength. Bingo. Because guess what, Ocho? Your shoulders hurt. Your hips hurt. Your joints hurt. It's hard for you to get up under that weight and squat and do leg press and bench. I mean, you do it as long as you can. But some days, hey, my elbows just hurt. My shoulders hurt. I can't get up under that heavy-ass weight and press it. Yeah. Hey, you get the bulk of your work, the meat and potatoes, you getting better as a player from a skill point is the offseason. That's why the offseason is so important. That's why taking the time off that's necessary when the season ends.

9:16Take you six weeks off. You get into that work. I'm telling you. Hey receivers, come on, come on down here, holler at your boy. You know, all these injuries, I can stop all these injuries. Listen to me. Everybody like to laugh and hee hee and ha ha.

9:32Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. All right. Ocho, the Falcons do not have a first round pick. That first round pick belongs to the Rams. The Rams and Minnesota? The Rams.

9:47Okay.

9:48Shannon Sharpe:They didn't have to give them anything. because it's cousin was a free agent. Oh shit. That's right. That's right. You're right. You're right. But I think about it, Ocho. Name another position. A guy comes off an Achilles injury after his 11th 12th year in the league, right? And gets that kind of contract. Name a position other than quarterback. No, there is none because they understand how valuable the quarterback position is. That's why you take a chance. You understand it's hard to get quarterbacks that have put up the numbers that Kirk Cousins has put up, even though he only had one playoff win.

10:18It's extremely difficult. Extremely difficult. That's why taking him a chance on a player like Kirk Cousins, despite his history, you know, and not making a playoff, despite the injury coming off an Achilles, okay, you know what? Well, he's not a dual threat quarterback anyway. You know, once that Achilles heals up, he can be able to do what he normally does as a functioning quarterback. He's a willing and dealing quarterback.

10:41Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. He's surgical with the ball. He just is. that's him we're gonna take a chance and gonna give him that kind of money and then also the type of type of player type of person he is he's a high character guy you know you know so you're willing to take that the way take that chance you're willing to to make that investment this is not no hindsight but I told you at the time I said oh Joe just contract just doesn't make sense to me to guarantee that type of money yeah for a guy that now if that's Tom Brady, that's Peyton Manning. Okay, I get it. They're certified. They're approved. But for a guy that hadn't had postseason success and he's had coming off an Achilles injury, and he's not mobile to begin with, he's going to be less mobile.

11:35Shannon Sharpe:It didn't make sense to me. And then you go draft a quarterback. If that was the case, why not just save that money, Ocho, and just go get you a quarterback? If that's if that was the route you wanted to take you have to think about it. Where they gonna get one from What were you gonna get a draft like they went got pennies from? Oh

11:57Listen, you understand how difficult it is to find a franchise altering quarterback You understand how different that is because so yeah, because it's one franchise altering No, but he can he can help you compete week to week he can help you compete look at look at look at what's going on right now and some of the teams that have been struggling for years to actually find a good decent quarterback because you know once you get one just let him be let's let him be good just give me that they took

12:25Shannon Sharpe:they took atlanta in 2021 draft they took cal pitts number four guess who went number five that year Who? Jamar Chase. Oh, yeah. This is NC. Jalen Waddle went six. Panay Sewell went seventh. JC Horn went eight. Pat Sertan II went nine. Devontae Smith went ten. Hmm. All eight. Michael went 12. Rashawn Slater went 13. I mean, if you take a tight end that high, you got to use them. But when they do use you, Kyle, you're going to have to catch the ball now. And I know it's a problem because he gets the ball so infrequently, he's trying to hit his head on the goalpost every time he gets the ball because he's like, I don't know when I'm going to get another chance.

13:14Shannon Sharpe:And I've never seen somebody score without the ball.

13:20Shannon Sharpe:You got to catch it. Yeah. And like I said, I understand the frustration of this movie because, you know, he came on and told us, the chemistry that he and Penix had they were talking Penix was talking about it in camp and he was talking about it, he came on night camp and talked about it damn

13:48and

13:49Shannon Sharpe:I don't know give me the coaches that were hired oh they interviewed Jim Harbaugh, the faculty interviewed Jim Harbaugh, they said no. They interviewed Mike Vrabel, they said no. They interviewed Mike McDonald, they said no. I think they interviewed Ben Johnson, they said no. I'm happy Raheem got the job, but Mr. Blank probably like, damn. Hey, you gotta work with what you got. You gotta work with what you got.

14:37I just...

14:52Shannon Sharpe:Well, he did a good job passing on some of them.

14:58Shannon Sharpe:Ocho, he's going to have to get it together, man. Yeah. Yeah. Because, look, they're getting restless in Atlanta. Hey, them players got to help you out, man. They do? Them players got to help you out. The old ad is players will get you fired. Yeah. They will get you fired. They can get you fired and fired. Yeah.

15:26Shannon Sharpe:Man, I feel for Raheem, man. Damn, I just thought this was going to be – hopefully he turned it around. Oh, yeah, and Coach Belichick, man. Man, y 'all saw Coach Belichick. The guy took his hat off. Yeah. We going to talk about that? Yeah. Ocho, did you see that? Yeah, I saw it, man. The coach took his hat off. And you can't even look the man in his eye, Ocho? Hey, Bill do everybody like that, though. So he can't feel bad. You look at Bill at the end of Patriots games, and you keep him moving. but he make it a B-line. It's different than Ochoa, this college. You set an example. You ain't set no example in no NFL, because he's done this.

16:05Shannon Sharpe:Now think about how many times in the AFC Championship game that a Tony Dungy, or a Bill Cowher, or a Rex Ryan has had to come out there and talk to CBS. This is really what rubbed me the wrong way, and I think Coach Belichick is the greatest NFL coach ever. Absolutely. But this is what rubbed me the wrong way, is that the rules don't apply to him. And the NFL has let this behavior go on. But let a player don't want to do the media and say, you know what? I don't want to do the media today. I'm going to let Ocho go do it. They're going to dock me money. But he's supposed to do it. And he said, some special teams guy out there.

16:46Shannon Sharpe:Some backup lineman. Ain't nobody ever heard of him, but his family. That's what rubbed me the wrong way. That man took his hat off to shake your hand. and then you like basically give him your butt that's always rubbed me the wrong way about him it always have and two things can be true he can be great and be a jackass at the same time and that bothers me he's always been this way and he's not changing that's the funny part I'm in the NFL this is the way I conduct myself. Oh, now I'm in college. This is the way I conduct myself. And I'm not changed for anybody. I'm not changed. And I think, I think the thing is, yeah, when you're winning, when you don't win and you give people your butt to kiss and they're in position to hire you, what do they do, Ocho?

17:42Shannon Sharpe:They're like, okay, next. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. 22:30Shannon Sharpe:Coach Ocho, there was plenty of speculation to why the Cowboys star receivers C.D. Lamb and George Pickens were benched for the opening drive against the Raiders. C.D. confirmed the rumors that he and Pickens had been out past curfew, having dinner, and a few drinks at Red Rock Casino. Okay, okay. C.D., you should have hit your boy off. I'd have came out with y 'all. However, C.D. made sure to shoot down any claim that he was seen throwing up around 7.30 a.m. See, he said such a claim was offensive to him because he knows how to hold his liquor. Ocho. Yeah. What's up? Oh, he knew. Hey, hey, Unc.

23:06Did he do this when they do the Ocho? Hey, but shoot. Hey, Unc, I'm going to be honest with you, boy. I had not me personally, but it was a lot of folk late during my time either. I'm not one. I ain't no snitch. You know, I ain't going to do nothing like that. You know, if I'm ever in the chair, I'm going to just plead the fifth, you know? but I done seen it happen now it's a little bit different because we got cameras everywhere everywhere technology is a little different so when we played didn't nobody know because there wasn't nobody to tell unless somebody close to you snitched on you yep or you told me yourself by actually showing up late and most of the time it was kept in house now boy everybody can see everybody

23:46Shannon Sharpe:because he got them camera phones oh yeah because even when you try to go out like hey can I get a picture I said nah I'm just right and he nobody gonna know Yeah, somebody going to know because you're going to post it. And if you don't give him a picture, they'll get mad and tweet, guess who I just saw? He acted like an asshole. Bro, how you ghost me? How you gave up my position? It's like the guy that went to the Airbnb and he left a negative rating. The guy that owned the Airbnb sent the photo to his wife of him going to the Airbnb with another woman. But that's real? Yes! That wasn't no Netflix show or that's real life?

24:29Real life. Oh, hell, hell, hell. You got to see.

24:34Shannon Sharpe:You got to see. Hey, you done messed up my marriage. Hey, he got to get these dum-dums. What? Yeah, man. You done messed up my marriage on account it wasn't me, but it was you? No, hold on. You said you messed up my Airbnb. give me this bull job rating. Now people ain't gonna want to come to my spot. Hey, that's the true meaning of an eye for an eye. Yeah. But Ocho, the thing is, if you were in the wrong, why would you even do that? Why would you leave a negative rating? Because for one, you didn't think you would stoop that low. You didn't think he would stoop that low. I'm thinking like most of these Airbnbs got cameras, right?

25:16Shannon Sharpe:No, no, no. You can't handle camera in Airbnb. Airbnb? At worst case, a ring camera. Oh, a ring camera, yes. Okay, yeah, you right. So how you go get in? Yeah. Okay, you right. So with that. But you see, hey, Keon, you see the difference? CD and Pickens was out past curfew, having dinner and a few drinks. They missed a series. You missed two games. There's levels. You're not at that level yet. Hey, Keon, we going to get you there, boy. Come holler at your boy in the offseason. I'm telling you, boy, we're going to get you right. You hear me? Let's go.

25:57Shannon Sharpe:Ocho, me? Man, I'm sleepy. I'm tired. Hey, my thing is, Ocho, after we have our individual meetings, then we have the team meeting. Mike going to play a video. He's going to play the top plays from last week. We'll have a little music to it. And then, you know, he's going to give us our speech, what he expects, blah, blah, blah. and then we go get a meal. Ocho, I'm trying to go to bed. I ain't got it in me. Yeah, see, you're a little different. You old school with Ocho. You're a little structured. You got a little discipline when it came to your approach. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The players today, they're a little bit more relaxed.

26:36They're a little bit more relaxed. You know, I want to be outside. I want to enjoy myself. I want to have a nice little meal, you know. Okay. See what's out there. You know, we in Vegas. You hear me?

26:44Shannon Sharpe:I might have tried to shake the covers Brodart yeah hold on before a game nah I can't do that listen my cut off was Wednesday my cut off was Wednesday if I don't catch you between Sunday and Wednesday oh no I can't do nothing with you I don't want no type of I don't want no lactic acid build up I don't want no spaghetti legs. So you got to get that work in between that. I cut off with two hours for the game.

27:23Shannon Sharpe:How about cut off? Two hours for the game.

27:35Hey, hold on. Yeah, yeah. But you ain't had no legs. You out there running with no legs.

27:42Shannon Sharpe:Nah, hey. Nah, Ojo. You remember the movie Free Willy? Yeah. How Willy came up out that pool? Yeah. That's me. Free Willy. I had plenty of legs. Mm-hmm. I think that's a misnomer. You think so? I think so. I don't know, boy. I don't know. Nah, I don't think so. I had a couple. I know for sure I had a couple of real big games. real, real, real big ones. After, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. I'm not, listen, I'm not. Like 160, 160, 180, 120, you know, 150, a couple of tools. Yeah, yeah. Right, right, right. Yeah, I don't know. Maybe I'm not even superstitious. I'm not even superstitious, but I just understand that feeling of horizontal activity and then finishing and having to stand up and, oh, shoot, and just being a little wobbly, you know?

28:41not being in my right state of mind. But damn, the equilibrium must be off. So yeah, I don't play like that.

28:51Shannon Sharpe:I don't play like that. I don't play like that either, Ocho. You see the position? I don't play like that either, Ocho.

29:03Shannon Sharpe:But man, nah. But in all seriousness, Ocho, I'm like, man, in today's time with, like you say, the technology, the way it is. Yeah. You can't do nothing, huh? Somebody sees you. It's just hard. It's hard. It's hard to get away. Yeah. CD and them owned it. Hey, Jare going to tell Pickett to go out anytime he want to after that performance because Jare said that's one of the best performances he's seen. Matter of fact, with the way they playing in general as a 1A and 1B, man, y 'all go ahead and do what you need to do. Do what you need to do. You know, as long as you show up the way you've been showing up on the field.

29:40I mean, we good.

29:41Shannon Sharpe:Hey. We good. Just don't, hey, just, hey, just, hey, just don't let nobody see y 'all. Don't let nobody see y 'all going out. Yeah, that's it. That's it. 34:12Shannon Sharpe:George Pickens hopes his first season is not his last. Pickens said, I'd love to be back, especially with CD and Dak. All the guys, really. Pickens is the fourth and final year of his rookie contract that he signed with the Steelers at the second round in 2022. He's scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in March of March. Pickens has 908 receiving yards through 10 games, the most through the first 10 games of a player's tenure in Dallas franchise history. He's second in receiving yards. Ocho, I know you want Pick to chase the bag. Would you be content if Pick stayed in Dallas? Man, listen, hold on.

34:53I want to talk about these stats real quick now. I want people to understand and understand how special George Pickens is, right? George Pickens is second in receiving yards, 908. He only got 58 catches. Yeah. He only got 58 catches, man. So that's letting you know he's doing more with less. So let's start there. Now, George Pickens coming back to Dallas. I like the idea. I like the idea, right? You know, Pickens, CeeDee Lamb, Dak Prescott. We understand how special, especially with them having a year removed, going into a second year, on how special they can be offensively. But I understand Dak has to get done again.

35:42I understand that. I understand that.

35:45Shannon Sharpe:They'll do Dak again. They're not going to let Dak know. I think Dak number is down to like$70,$75 billion cap here. So they'll redo Dak again. Right. probably give him another four-year, five-year deal, make it like$300 million. And they'll give him, you know, at the time of signing, they'll give him$100 million. He'll get, I mean, he got guaranteed right now$229 million. So he'll get another deal, probably a$250 million guarantee. But is Dak willing to take less to make sure George Pickens gets what he deserves, to make sure he gets close to his value? Because he's not going to get anywhere near close to his value if he stays in Dallas.

36:25I would love for him to stay in Dallas. He would be great there offensively in what he can do based on what he's putting on display right now. I love it. I love the idea. I just understand when it comes to getting your first contract, your first big contract, most of the time, unless you that guy, like that guy guy, they've already paid CeeDee Lamb. Yeah. You know? So based on where he is right now, he would supposed to be, if he was elsewhere, he would overlap CeeDee Lamb's contract. Correct. He would overlap it. But he won't be able to do and get a true value because he's staying in Dallas. So does he want to take a discount and say, you know what, I'm going to stay here, I'm going to take less to stay here in Dallas and be productive here, or do I want to go somewhere else?

37:10Now, whatever he chooses to do, that's on him. But I'm going to have a conversation with David Mulangueta, and we're going to sit down and we're going to talk and we're going to see what type of plan we're going to put together for Pick and see what's best for him for our foreseeable future. Now, Dallas Cowboys fans, I love y 'all. I love what Pick brings to the table. But don't be selfish. Don't be selfish. You should want what's best for Pick too. Yes, being with the Dallas Cowboys, that's what you want because you're a Dallas Cowboys fan. But what's best for George Pickens, his family, and his long term.

37:47Let's think about him long-term, you know, and being able to set up not just his kids, but his grandkids' kids, you know. Now, if he can get that done in Dallas, I'm all for it.

37:57Shannon Sharpe:I think the thing is, Ocho, they, you know, they redo Dak. That'll take$30 million off the cap right there. Mm-hmm. To make his cap, to bring his cap number down. Yeah. They'll probably do something, restructure, give CDs money and a signing bonus. Yeah. That'll take more money off the cap. Okay, now we talking. So, could I see him getting a deal somewhere? Five years,$180 million? Okay. Yeah. Okay, okay, okay. We cooking. Okay, we cooking. I can see that. We cooking. Now, the problem is, now see, we think insensible. Yeah. Me and you think insensible. The chat, they think insensible, especially any Cowboys fans that's in the chat.

38:47You know, I love y 'all too. I love y 'all. Don't think I'm hating. I love y 'all. But is Jerry going to think sensible? Yeah. Is he going to think sensible? Now, we know how Jerry Jones is when it comes to when it's time to pay. You understand that? Now, is George Pinkett going to have the patience to deal with that bullshit Jerry like to do making you wait to the last goddamn minute? I don't know. We understand the issues that Jerry Jones has had with David Moologueta in the past. Yeah. Is he going to have the patience to want to deal with the bull drive that Jerry going to put him through? So there's other dynamics that come into play, you know, where Moologueta might want to tell Pick, man, listen, we ain't got time for this shit.

39:30Oh, my bad. I'm sorry. We ain't got time for this. I think because Pick got an edge to him.

39:37Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. I think Pink has a lot of on the field and how he goes about his business on the field. Yeah. Has a lot of Michael Irvin in him. Yeah. We know what Jerry thought of Michael. Yes, sir. What he thinks of Michael. So I think he would probably lean towards probably getting something done that's going to everybody. Because he realized now, he traded for Mingo. Mingo ain't seen the field yet. Yeah. I think he's been a healthy scratch the last couple of times. Remember, they traded a fourth-round pick to Carolina to get Mingo. He's finally got a guy. He's finally got a guy. Yeah. That's comparable to CD.

40:16Shannon Sharpe:It's hard to get a guy comparable to your number one. Yeah. He can fight him tooth and nail. Big, great hands. Make tough catches. Tremendous run after the catch. Very good. Big, big body receiver. Mm-hmm. Jerry realized those guys don't grow on trees. Absolutely not. And we got him. And we got him in our home. The best thing to do when you got him in your home, Mocho, is what? Don't let him leave. Don't let him leave. Don't let him leave. He's on pace for 99 receptions, 1 ,544 yards and 12 touchdowns. Dak is the only team in the NFL this season to have featured top five player in passing, rushing, and receiving yards.

40:58Shannon Sharpe:Dak is fifth in passing yards. Javante Williams is fifth in rushing yards. Pick is second in receiving yards. Okay. Man. So think about all the offense they got and look where they are. Because why? The defense. Yeah. Defense got to pick it up. Mm-hmm. Now, we'll see if they can replicate what they did. They got the Eagles. We'll see if they can replicate what they did. They went out and made it. They let Michael Parsons. They traded Michael Parsons to get Kenny Clark and Quentin Williams. That's what Aiden said. Look, we got to stop the run. That's it. Clark is more of a run stuffer. Quentin Williams can play the run, but he's more of a pass rushing DT.

41:39Shannon Sharpe:You got Clowney. You got Fowler. You got Williams. You got some guys that you got a Digizua that you paid a lot of money to. He's still there. So we're going to see. We're going to see. The Eagles, we're going to see what the Eagles, we're going to see what the Eagles, because you're going to need to establish a run. You're on the road. Yeah. See if Saquon can get loose. Looks like Lane Johnson is going to be out. They're going to have their backup in there. We'll see. He says, hey, I want to make a name for myself. Lane Johnson is Dexton Stone. He is what he is. One of the great linemen in history.

42:14Shannon Sharpe:Now is my time to get an opportunity to show you what I'm capable of. So it's going to be very, very interesting. But Pink has been everything. I don't know what Jerry thought he was going to be when he traded for him, but he has to have been everything that Jerry had hoped for and more. Absolutely.

42:37uh

42:37Shannon Sharpe:uh was there ever a great a teammate that you fought to keep on the team man TJ man who's who's you know I hate the dirty side of the business but you know it is a business I wanted who's to stay yeah you know I thought I thought that that that that that chemistry we had and going being from Oregon State and going from Oregon State being drafted to the Bengals. I mean, I wanted that continuity to stay throughout the entirety of my career, but obviously things didn't go that way. I mean, that's about the only person. That's about the only person. They didn't really ask me. They didn't really ask me.

43:18Shannon Sharpe:I mean, as I got older, I think once I went there and came back, I think Mike valued my opinion on what I thought of certain guys. But for me, hey, you make your own decisions. Yeah. I'm going home. And guess what? And when I come back in the spring for OTAs and they ain't here, I guess they moved on. Right.

43:45Shannon Sharpe:Despite being 8-2 and fresh off a Super Bowl win, there continues to be a lot of negativity surrounding the Eagles. A.J. Brown threw more gas on the fire today when asked about speculation that he isn't the same player he once was. Oh Joe, let's take a listen to what AJ had to say. There they go with that bull jab. You see what I mean? There's speculation out there that you are not the same player. What would you say to those people? I guess they can't have the same player either. All right. But I don't got to. Okay.

44:18Hey, you see how the bull jab start? Uh huh. You see how the bull, they come up with that. oh your production is not the same as it was before so now you're not the same player no more oh now you lost a step this is the game they play this is the game they play this is how they do you know ain't nothing wrong with that man man you can see you watch film you watch the games on set ain't nothing wrong with that man why even see them reporters be playing that's how you know what I would have swung on that reporter

44:48Shannon Sharpe:but you see Ocho, Ocho, you see I framed it? What do you say to those that say that you're not the same player anymore? You see I framed it? Yeah. Yeah. What do you say about those that say you're not the same? Hoping that he gets something. They got what he wanted. Yeah. I guess Saquon ain't the same player either. They got what they wanted. Yeah. Because it don't even matter the context. Yeah. Y 'all said I'm not the same player. Well, Saquon ain't got a thousand yards rush. Remember at this point in time last year, he had a thousand yards. Exactly. So why y 'all Why are y 'all not asking questions About him Y 'all keep coming to me Asking me questions But Does the run game look the same Nope sure don't so that means Saquon lost it No ain't nothing wrong with him Ain't nothing wrong with AJ Brown Ain't nothing wrong with AJ Brown either The reporters know that but then you know The reporter gonna go fishing every time Now it's on the player on whether they catch that bait or not.

45:51You're right, don't you? That's it. You're right. AJ Brown, he's one of them. He's going to give you what you want every time.

45:56Shannon Sharpe:Oh, AJ's going to speak his mind now. Oh, he's going to give you what you want every time. There was one other player just like that, too, that played over there that wore 81. Yeah. You ask him a question, he's going to give you what you want every time, so be careful. He ain't sugarcoat nothing. Man, look, I just think the thing is now is that we 8-2 yeah so what can we be critical of ain't really anything you can be critical of because the team is 8-2 they're the number one team in the division so let's go to AJ Brown and hopefully he says something negative about somebody else yeah that's all they're hoping for now yeah that's it you said like you said it's a fishing expedition oh yeah that's it let me see how big let me see how big of a fish I can catch and matter of fact this is the thing too right debate is the way you word the question.

46:47Yes. The bait that the reporters use is the way they word the question. I'm going to word it this way and say they say, you know, we don't even know who they is. Who is they? Is they watching film? Is they not seeing what's going on? Yeah, we 8-2. I've been complaining about they the whole time. They should know what the problem is.

47:06Shannon Sharpe:And how about this here? Whoever say that I'm not the same player will ask the opposing team why they keep putting their number one corner on me then. Hmm. If I ain't what they say, if I ain't what you think or what they say I am, all I know is I get road coverage and I get their best corner. They don't put their third corner on me. They don't put their second or third corner on me. Why not? They say I ain't got it no more. You're right. I don't. Throw me the ball and find out. Yeah. That's all I can tell you. That's all I got for you. I ain't got nothing else to say. I really don't. Look, y 'all know how I feel about this situation.

47:47Shannon Sharpe:Yes, I'd like to be a more active participant in the offense. Yeah. I think if we, if all the receivers, I think, look, and I don't want to speak for anybody else, but I think we all think that we could be more involved and the offense would flow smoother if myself, Devontae, Goddard, Dodson, if we became more involved. Yeah. That's not where we are right now. Hopefully that changes. Any more questions? Good day. That's it. That's all I got for you, Ocho. Yeah. Yeah, that's that good politically correct answer. Hey, hey, hey. I thought about being politician. Hey, I still might. Might be perfect for politics right now.

48:33Shannon Sharpe:Politician? Okay, okay. I like it. Hey, I'm listening. With that being said, Ocho, no, I was just like, hey, no, we're not. What you want me to say, man? You watching the games. Yeah. We're not playing well, and we're not good offensively. Who can you pick out and say, okay, they're doing an outstanding job offensively? Bro, we ain't scored a touchdown in a month. A month. A professional NFL team has not scored a touchdown. So there's enough blame to go around on everybody offensively, from coaches to players, myself, the quarterback, the offensive line, the running backs, there's no way to just pinpoint the blame because one time we get a holding call, next time we jump outside, the next time we make a mistake, we do a middle mistake.

49:23So there's enough blame if we just, and it's just not, okay, we get something going

49:28Shannon Sharpe:positive, hold it. We get something going, then we have somebody with a middle mistake. So there's enough blame to go around. But at the end of the day, it's upon everybody on this offense that's in that room and the coaches to figure it out. Mm-hmm. So let me ask you a question. You think Cincinnati feeling sorry for us? Nah. You think Tennessee feeling sorry for us? You tell me the team that's on our schedule that feels sorry for us that we haven't scored a touchdown in five weeks. Oh, nobody. So they're not feeling sorry for us. Why the hell are we feeling sorry for ourself? Empathy is something someone else have for you.

50:05Shannon Sharpe:You can't have it for your damn self. Right. oh pull me oh oh well stay over there stay over there but AJ hey bro don't let don't let them try to get you to try to try to throw uh uh uh dirt on somebody else don't even do it hey y 'all heard what I said I done said I don't really need to reiterate it I just been saying this for the last year I would like to become more involved in the offense. Not out of selfish reasons. Do you see our passing game is struggling? And right now, we're very dependent on the defense. But at what point in time do we get to earn our checks? Because the defense is earning their checks every week.

50:51Shannon Sharpe:Every week. Right now, we're getting free checks.

50:57Yep.

51:00Shannon Sharpe:So, AJ later said he does not watch to other wide receivers do around the NFL. Reporters ask him, say, why? His response, it gets me upset. Absolutely. Now he's talking my language. Yeah, yeah. That's a good one. That's a good one. Hey, listen, unless you're being productive, unless you're a part of the offense week in and week out, and knowing that you're going to have those catches and those opportunities, I'm not watching the others that are getting them because that's going to get me mad. You think I'm going to be watching film on Jamar and JSN and George Pickens and Devontae Adams, and they out there going crazy week in and week out?

51:40They're getting 10, 12 targets a game. I'm getting 4-5. Man, please, man. Absolutely not. I don't want to see that. Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Hell nah.

51:50Shannon Sharpe:I was very fortunate. Like I said, it wasn't like it is now, Ocho, where we had this influx of tight ends. But yeah, Ben Colts had 160. I had 40. Yeah. Nah, man, that man ain't no 120 yards better than me. Uh-uh. No, hell nah. I see Brent Jones or them guys. Oh, no, hell no. So I 1 ,000%. 1 ,000 % I am not watching. And don't let me, you know, I'm playing one of those guys. Yeah. Man, hey, Romo. act. Man, don't y 'all let that man come in here and show y 'all in front of me. Don't y 'all let that man come in his house and show out in front of me now. I'm just saying. Don't let that man come in his house and show out in front of me.

52:41Shannon Sharpe:Do what y 'all do to me in practice. Right. I like that. It's a good one. Yeah, man. Come on now. How that's going to look, Ocho? Gonzo come up in my house, go for a buck fifty. Now I'm on the sideline.

53:06Shannon Sharpe:hell no hey like Tom see I don't want I want to play with Tom because remember that that game that Randy went off yeah Randy had like two or three touchdowns mm-hmm excuse me T.O. had a win off with like two or three touchdowns he said come on Moss he gave Moss four in the first half you good I'm good yeah I'm good I'm real good Kevin Petula and Sirianni are quite obsessed with the hitch route ranking the most hitch routes run per game via true media Dallas Goddard 9.44 Devontae Smith 9.1 AJ Brown 7.56 no other team has more players than the top 16 what I what I told you what I told you the other day about the route concepts.

54:01I can tell you what A.J. Brown, I can tell you what Devontae Smith is running based on their alignment and based on formation and definitely based on down and distance. Every single time. Every time. I don't play for the Eagles. I love football. I'm not an Eagle fan, but I watch the game. The fact that I can still tell you what they're doing and I don't watch them every single week. I mean I mean if I know what's coming you don't think the people that actually watch film and get paid millions of dollars to do yeah man come on now I mean

54:37Shannon Sharpe:I just don't I just don't know how you expect to be effective when you have this many guys in the top running hitches

54:48Shannon Sharpe:really push the ball down the field you got to because if you don't they're going to sit on top of everything. Yeah, they're playing top down. Which is why most of the short and the intermediate routes keep getting knocked down. Why? Because there ain't no threat for you going over the top of it. Hell no. Why am I backing up? Knowing you ain't going no farther than 10 yards, I ain't even getting out of my back pedal. That's why Smitty catch so many deep balls over the top. Because he done hitched them. And he done slanted them and hissed them to death? hitched and slant him to death. And they be looking like, oh, here comes it.

55:26Shannon Sharpe:No, he over the top of you now. Hey, it's either the hitch, the slant, or the curl. That's it. Oh, or maybe the cross or the overs. The over route? The over route, that's it. A lot of times when they throw him the goal ball, he's on the left hand side. Yep, that's it. That's the extent of the route treat for them right there. Yeah. It's like... And I know it's frustrating. It's frustrating because you see all these guys. You see Jackson. You see JSN. You see Emeka. You see Puka. You see Chase. You see all these guys. Cut. Getting all the honey. Cut. I ain't getting enough of vinegar. They ain't getting enough of vinegar, Ocho.

56:10Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, I'm salty. Hold on. And not only am I only getting vinegar, they paying me$33 million. Yeah. And the first thing they're going to do is, well, man, I don't know. Your production slipped. Yeah, you're not the same. It seemed like you done lost a step. We paying you 33, but the production you're giving us is like we paying you 12 or 10. So we're going to ask you to take a pick of what? I already know. Listen, I already know the game ain't finna play. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to do that, guys. I wish I could. I wish I could help you out with your cap. Yeah. Uh-uh. Mm-mm.

56:57Shannon Sharpe:Joe Burrow made huge steps in his recovery journey on Wednesday by being named a full participant in Bengals team practice. Excuse me. This is the first time that he's gotten the designation since he suffered a turf toe injury in week two. Joe would need to be activated by December 1st from the injury reserve to have any chance to play again this season. Bocho, your Bengals are 3-7. Yes, sir. 3-7. There's only seven games to go. Yeah, yeah. Is there a scenario which you see if the Bengals were to lose Sunday? Yes, sir. Is there a scenario where you see Joe being activated? Because if he's not activated by December 1st, that means he can't, I mean, basically, he can't come off and he'd be on there for the rest of the season.

57:44Shannon Sharpe:Do you see a scenario where you guys lose this game and him come off injury reserve? Yeah, honestly, I think regards there is really no scenario in this matter or in this case, whether we win or whether we lose Joe Burrow being the competitor that he is. He would probably override any suggestions that he gets from doctors, anyone that sits in positions of power in that front office. And he's coming back to play whether we lose it or not. I just knowing Joe Burrow, the type of player he is, the type of competitor he is, whether we have a chance to to get to the playoffs or he going to want to finish the season off strong and make somewhat a statement to show that he can still stay upright.

58:27He can he can still be healthy, you know, regardless of circumstances, whether we're going to the playoffs or not.

58:35Shannon Sharpe:So you just you just looking forward to him getting back out there on the field. You don't really think y 'all going to make no playoff. Hey, Joe, honestly, right now, I haven't really thought of the scenarios or the possibility of us making the playoffs at 3-7. I think it's very, very difficult, Joe, honestly. I think it's very difficult. But for me, I would love for Joe to come back, not even playoff scenario, but just to finish the season off strong. Finish the season off strong, get in there, do what you can. Finish the season off strong? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. What the hell? Hold on. Let me finish, man.

59:15I'm three and seven.

59:17Shannon Sharpe:You're about to be three and eight. I'm not talking about from a team standpoint at this point. When you're three and seven, I'm just saying individually, all players need to finish the season off strong from an individual standpoint so they feel a little better about themselves going into next year, regardless of whether we did well or we didn't as a team collective. You didn't do well. Ain't no regardless. Ain't no irregardless. And stop using the air regardless. You're not supposed to use air regardless. Regardless by itself. I said or regardless. Yeah, y 'all were terrible this year. Yeah, yeah, we were terrible.

59:52And you can't finish y 'all on no good note. Okay, I see. That's why I said individually. That's why the first thing I said, even if we lose, which we won't, which we probably won't.

1:00:01Shannon Sharpe:You going to lose? Take the if out. Take the if out. We played the Patriots. You know, first of all, y 'all was losing with Chase. Y 'all was losing with Chase. Yeah. He gone. Okay, now let's try again. Like I said, someone who has a little optimism, Joe. I'm going to talk to you. I got you. I'm a little optimistic. Ain't no telling what's going to happen. I know Chase is not playing this game. We got 11 weeks. You know what's going to happen. You know what? Hey, Joe, I don't like the way Uncle's treating my banger. Hey, Ocho, I think y 'all just need to let burn. Ocho, can I have it? You know what?

1:00:42Shannon Sharpe:I just want to take my last bite of my short reel. Take the last bite. Go ahead. Take the last bite. Take the time. Good job. This man talking crazy. I want to go ahead and finish you and get some food on my stomach because I've been hungry. I had a couple of events I had to go to tonight. So I will get my last ride. What's that? Hey, hold on. That's really good, too. Take your time. Me and Joe got it. Me and Joe got it. But anyway, Joe, like I was saying, listen, from an individual from an individual standpoint Joe knowing how Burrow is knowing the competitor that he is he's a liar Joe he coming back to play Joe regards to how we doing as a team but sometimes Ocho you know we can get in our own way now the man been bogged down with Andrew you know that toe gonna linger bro Joe I know one thing if Burrow ain't feeling 100 % he not taking his ass out there on that field.

1:01:34Shannon Sharpe:Well, then he ain't going to play. It ain't no way that toe going to be 100%, man. Listen, let the man heal up, and then y 'all get another crack at it next year. If it don't happen next year, Ocho, you got to blow that thing up. Okay, okay. I mean, I like that, Joe. But me, honestly, if Joe feels good and knowing how he is, he ain't sitting on that sideline, Joe. If he can go, and think about it, an 85, 87, even a 90 % Joe Burrow is better than half the goddamn league. It's better than half the league out there, even Harbaugh. So I would like to see him, though, honestly, just to finish it off strong, just so you feel good about yourself in your head and when the back of your head is like, well, goddamn, I done been hurt three out of six seasons, you know, and ain't been able to contribute to help my team out.

1:02:26Man, shit, knowing him, man, I'm finishing this shit off.

1:02:29Shannon Sharpe:Hey, look, I'm sure he probably does want to get back out. I mean, hell, he making a lot of money. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. But Ocho, sometimes, man, you know, you got to get in guys' weight, man, and just tell them, hey, look, we understand. Yeah, we know you want to play. Yeah. But you probably need to sit the rest of the season now. We can get you right going into the next season. Hey, man. Y 'all out there just playing football just to be finishing the season. That man get hurt again now. Come on now. Yeah. I mean, you right on. I'm trying to help y 'all, man. I'm trying to. Joe you right but I'm telling you how the individual is he's an animal but he an animal he an animal I just don't see any scenario where he can go sit down especially he was a full participant in practice today he was a full participant in practice see what that thing feel like tomorrow unless Joe Burr will come back as a combination of Miles Garrett and Lawrence Taylor y 'all ain't going nowhere I don't give a damn what he come back at we understand that part Joe So if he comes back as Miles Garrett and Lawrence Taylor with a little mix of Deion Sanders and Ray Lewis in there.

1:03:34Shannon Sharpe:So which one of them is he going to be? Right. I mean, neither one. Neither one. You have to understand that. That's not the part we talk about. You got to understand the type of individual Joe is. I know what he is. You don't become the number one overall pick without being a competitor. But you also don't become somebody without being realistic. Yeah, I mean, I understand. I joke. I mean... Have you seen your defense? Yeah, that man ain't thinking about none of that. That man ain't thinking about none of that. That man is thinking about getting on that field, getting back healthy, and trying to contribute and finish the season off on a high note for him in the village so he feels better about himself going into the offseason.

1:04:13I'm telling you how you think, and I know it. Because if he wasn't, it wouldn't be no goddamn reason to be a goddamn practice today. Hey, Joe, he was a full participant.

1:04:24Shannon Sharpe:Look on your screen, Ocho. We got something showing for you. What's that? This is what they bringing him up. Look how they bringing him back, Joe. Is that bubble wrap? Y 'all, we got two. We ain't got a choice. What do you mean is that? We ain't got no choice on Joe. We don't want to. Hey, y 'all, why y 'all disrespecting my quarterback now? Hold on. Hold on. Well, you over there laughing. He better than Bo Nix down in Denver right now. And he ain't even, and Joe ain't even playing. We're not debating his skill set. We're not debating how good he actually is because, excuse me, we know he's great.

1:05:03Shannon Sharpe:We're not debating that. I know, but the joke's just flying in the hee-hee and the ha-ha like he ain't that boy. You don't think that fit? You just said the man been hurt three of his six years. I'm just speaking facts on what's happening. His first year he got hurt. The next year he went through. Then he went to a Super Bowl. Then he got his wrist hurt. Now he done missed it. He missed the entire rest of that season, which was probably about eight, nine games. Now this is week 12, so he's going to miss at bare minimum, a bare minimum of another 10 games. Right. What the hell happened to my camera?

1:05:41Shannon Sharpe:You act like we put this around Brett Favre. Peyton, come on now. Oh, there you go. You're talking about a guy that's been, he missed 10 games his rookie season, if not more. He's going to miss 10 games this season. With his wrist injury, he missed probably another 10 games. So he's missed probably 30 games since he's been in the league. Right. I didn't need you to detail all that. Hold on. I'm going to say I didn't need you to detail all that. The really great with Ocho, you know this, they got to be available. Yeah. Yeah. Listen, you're right. You are available. What good is that? Man, I had the best feet.

1:06:17Shannon Sharpe:Man, I had the best feet in the NFL. Yeah. I did. But you played every other year. Yeah, yeah, you right. But you played every Sunday. I did, I did. I did. Hey, Joe, hey, Joe, you should have seen my feet, Joe. These things right here, Joe? Oh, yeah, I seen you cut a rug or two. These things right here, Joe? Yeah. Hey, them boys got a mind of their own, boy. You hear me? We already know what's going to happen, though, Joe. Man, Ocho have 150 yards and two touchdowns, but they lost. Yeah, that's a lie. That's a lie. Don't do that, Ocho. Hold on. You saying as long as Osho got here, he's cool? Nah, nah.

1:06:57Joe, I'm not saying that I did everything. No, he wasn't happy about it.

1:07:00Shannon Sharpe:He just knew it was good. Yeah, I'm hot. He knew I'm going to get mine. Unfortunately, I'm not in a situation where as a team, we're good enough to win more than we lose. Joe. So I got to do my part. Joe, my grandma always told me, baby in life, you can only do one thing. you can control what you can control and do your part so Joe I did my part now collectively as a team I can't control the other 10 people I can't control the 11 people that's on defense but I know what I can control I control me I can control them feet that had a mind of their own hey Joe I'm the only receiver in the history of the game they didn't pay me to play receiver Joe they paid me for my feet alone I'm just saying I'm just being honest to you it's in my contract if you look I show you a copy of my contract it it states we are paying him individually on what he's able to do with his feet that's what they pay me for they ain't so you said so you saying when the DB lined up in front of you he had no chance line up in front of who you man the devil is a lie joke why I ain't play that up there you get a don't ever get too close to me when we would have a conversation because I'm I'ma talk to you all the way through the route.

1:08:14Okay. Yeah, man, Joe, I ain't play no game, Joe. Hey, what?

1:08:20Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Joe. Joe, he was in this band. Ojo can sing really, really good, but they ain't have no number one hits because they wouldn't let him sing lead. So if they let him sing lead or they have more people like Ojo in the band, they'd have been really, really good. So in other words, he really needed to play an individual sport where he can just rely on himself. Because when you play football, you really got to rely on the 10 guys on offense, the 11 guys on defense, and the 11 guys that they trot out there every time on special teams. Ocho did his thing. But like he said, he couldn't tackle nobody.

1:08:57Shannon Sharpe:He couldn't get no picks. Couldn't sack the quarterback. Hey, Joe, we had some money. They got really good once they got caught. Well, Kittner wasn't bad. Kittner threw for 4 ,000. Kittner wasn't no bad quarterback. but they was bad enough that they got ended up getting Carson Palmer with the number one overall pick and then once Carson got in there they kind of took off from there yeah hey Joe we were good man we had some ups and downs hold on let that look I done pat you on the back now I was pat you on the back I wasn't trying to beat dust out of your clothes I just pat you on the back you know what I'm saying Joe he want me to beat dust out of your clothes now damn why we just couldn't leave it at that man Ocho was really good but Ocho did his thing.

1:09:40Hey, I was nice now. You know, I was a little something now. I was a little something to watch, man.

1:09:45Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah. Hey, Joe, hey, you know, hey, Joe, I could fill up a stadium by myself, Joe. I would like that. Oh, you gonna put on the show now. Oh, yeah, you gonna get that. You gonna get that, whether I was playing home or away. I'm gonna fill your stadium up. Man, see, that's what I need to be. I need to be a couple of years younger. Yeah. I'd have been talking to him on the sideline, talking right out of the game. Ooh. Unc, how you gonna take my script and try to use it on me? Ocho, you do realize I was talking before you was born. Oh, what do you know where I'm from? Do you know where I'm from?

1:10:19Do you understand we start in Pee Wee, Pee Wee Optimist? That talking started at four years old. You wasn't doing that when you was four. When you was in four, you was out there in the country, you know, picking watermelon. You weren't talking like this. I came out the womb talking. Yeah, that's what I do. Hey, Joe, I'm telling you, Joe. Boy, you put me in the right environment. Boy, I say something. We're talking right out of this game, Joe. I'm saying y 'all ain't never play against each other? Yeah. Hey, Joe, I spanked him. He was younger than me. It don't matter. Joe, I spanked him when we played him.

1:10:55Every time. Joe, I showed up to the party, boy. Not the teams that I was on, Joe.

1:11:02Shannon Sharpe:You was on the team? What you talking about? Joe, we already said you had 30-something yards, Ocho. That's all? That's what you mean, that's all? Yeah, I mean, because I'm just saying, I'm really not a 30-yard receiver. So the fact that I only had 30. And when you scored against the Broncos, Joe, I mean, Ocho, I was already out the game. The game was over. Hold on. Hold on. Whoa. Do you know you're not going to do that? Oh, no. The devil is alive because you've been out the game now for 20-something years. and every time the Broncos played. No, I said when the game that you played, when I was with the Broncos, and the game you scored on, you scored with like 20 seconds.

1:11:42Shannon Sharpe:The game was over. I was on the sideline drinking Kool-Aid. Well, hold on. Wait a minute. A game race sloshed around in my stomach. Joe? Hey, Joe, I think Unk might got amnesia because if I recall in 2005 against the Denver Broncos Monday night football, I went crazy if I'm not mistaken. Well, I was retired. I was in the booth. I was sitting at a desk. What does that have to do? You just said I only scored against the Broncos in the last 30 seconds. I told you I retired two decades. You just said I only scored in the Broncos in the last 30 seconds. That's not what I recall. No, no, no. I said when I was playing on the Broncos.

1:12:18Oh, okay, okay.

1:12:18Shannon Sharpe:Okay, okay. When Shannon. I don't know what you did after I left. Yeah. But I'm saying. I do know you scored with like 35, 40 seconds. Left in the ballgame. I done got my shoes off. I got on flip flops. Okay, okay. It sounds good. I got on shower shoes on the sideline. I done cut my tape off and everything. And you still in there playing. Hey, hey, hey. Hold up, though. When you scored in the end, you were still there. Hey, look it up. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. Look it up. I think it was either 2002, 2003. Joe, what's in it? Look it up, Joe. I ain't gonna lie to you. I remember like it was yesterday.

1:12:56Shannon Sharpe:We beating the brakes off him. And then he gonna try to celebrate. I never a joke one thing I never do I was always self-aware I was always You heard me Joe? No you weren't self-aware with that one because I don't know why I'm telling you why you scored a touchdown and want to celebrate. Hold on I'm telling you how I was I never do that a joke unless we unless we scoring first or I'm scoring to tie I never celebrate if I was scoring we were losing never never that that's to me that's a lack of self-awareness and to me and myself, I look crazy because why the hell am I celebrating? There's nothing to celebrate for and we not winning the game or actually tying the game.

1:13:34So that's something I always kept in the back of my mind. Well, you wouldn't win no game with me.

1:13:37Shannon Sharpe:But I'm just saying. Hey, was it 03 or 02? I'm trying to think. It might have been 02. Nah, 02. I gave y 'all that work. That's all I know. 03.

1:13:53Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Get it right, Ash. Pull up the receipts, Ash.

1:14:04Shannon Sharpe:When did he score that touchdown? When did he score that touchdown? Yeah, yeah. Hey, Joe, you see? You see? Ash put out the receipts, Joe. How's that? They can avoid that business. Joe, but see, hold on. The score was 30 to 10. Okay, hold on. The score was 30 to 3. 50 calories. He done did all that hard work. He got some cardio in the first four and a half quarter, three and a half quarter. You just heard Ashley say I would give me all that work. You just heard Ashley say I would give me all that work. You caught a 23-yard touchdown. The score was 30 to 3. We done took our starters out. We ain't getting nobody hurt.

1:14:45Nope, the starters weren't out the game. They weren't out the game because what you're not going to do is you're not going to put no backups on me. No, you're not. No, you're not. I think the person, if I'm not mistaken, that was coming to me, he wore 24. He wore 24. And he doubled me the whole game. Who, Delto 'Neal? Nah. No.

1:15:03Shannon Sharpe:No. Champ wasn't there when I was there, Ocho. OK. Champ came after I was gone. Oh, who was it then? It was Delto 'Neal. Well, he got that work, too. Who ended up playing with you in Cincinnati, if I'm not mistaken. And he got that work. Anybody with a two in their number got that work. For years straight, except Revis. Except Revis. I'm going to give his credit. If I'm not mistaken, who? Who you giving credit to? Oh, Revis. That's it. That's it. And listen, hey, Joe. No, no, no, no, no, no. We didn't have Revis. No, no, no. I'm just saying, I was telling Joe, anybody with a two as their first number got that work for like 11, 12 years straight, Joe.

1:15:46I seen Revis. Oh, man, it was like a bad relationship that never turned out right. You hear me?

1:15:52Shannon Sharpe:Man, how you get to Rebus Island and couldn't get off there? Huh? Let me find out you was Gilligan. Nah, I ain't had no pass. You on Gilligan, he was on Gilligan. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe, I got it. Hey, Joe. Everybody coming to rescue Gilligan. Joe, I got stuck, Joe. I ain't had my passport. He had defense like Darryl, Joe? Yeah, I mean, listen, hey, hey, hey, Joe, he was nice, Joe. He was nice. He was nice. He was nice. All right, look, I'm not going to sit here in life. That's what I understand. I talk crab. I talk crab. I talk cash shit. But one thing I'm gonna do boy when it come to defense I'm gonna get up with it Give him his credit and every time I see him I give him his flowers That year he had a year bad Oh Joe everybody got it Joe That 2009 season Joe That was an historic Run that will never be repeated Never be Every week he traveled with number one I don't care hey coach I got it Don't even worry about this And nobody was getting a hundred A hundred?

1:16:48Shannon Sharpe:You shut down Megatron He shut down. T.O., he shut down. Yeah, everybody. Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith, Andre Johnson. Nobody got over 50, boy. There's one person. There's one person who consistently was able to give Revis that business and give him problems, and that was Stevie Johnson. Stevie Johnson. Yeah, played in Buffalo. Hey, Joe, Stevie was about six-fold and moved like he was five feet tall. I mean, as far as his lateral movement and his quickness. You had to be quick to give him problems. You couldn't be a big receiver and be physical with him because he played it to his hands then. You had to be twitchy.

1:17:24Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. If you weren't twitchy, you had hell on your hands if you weren't twitchy.
