In short
Best-of NFL Week 11 discussion, focusing on Patriots-Jets, Jets QB Justin Fields struggles, and Steelers-Bengals controversy involving Ja’Marr Chase and Jalen Ramsey. Guests also debate quarterback “processing” vs arm talent and what Jets/Fields need to improve.
Guest backgrounds
The episode is hosted by Tony Ayo (The Real Report) and Uncle Murda, who discuss NFL games and player performance from a fan/analyst perspective.
Key claims
- Patriots looked strong vs Jets; Drake Maye (25/34, 281, 1 TD) and the offense/defense are clicking; Mike Vrabel is praised for coaching.
- Justin Fields is criticized for low passing production and inconsistency (cited low yards/attempt and reliance on late drives/screenplays), with drops and lack of elite weapons hurting him.
- Jalen Ramsey was ejected for punching; Ja’Marr Chase is condemned for allegedly spitting on Ramsey and for reportedly denying it to reporters.
Notable examples
- Patriots: Stephon Diggs “reinvigorated,” Trayvon Henderson rushing/receiving.
- Jets: Garrett Wilson on IR; AD Mitchell drops/targets; Fields’ yardage examples by opponent.
- Steelers-Bengals: Chase vs Ramsey incident; Ramsey says Chase spit on him; Chase’s response is quoted.

2:53The Patriots looked awful impressive. They beat the Jets 27-14. I don't know. They looked impressive. The Jets aren't good, but the Patriots look good. I mean, those first couple of drives, Drake made with Brady-esque. I'm talking about precision. Yes, he was nice. Stephon Diggs has been reinvigorated. He looks good. Travion Henderson is running extremely hard. Two touchdowns on the ground, one in the air. Drake made 25 of 34, 281, one touchdown. I thought overall, I thought they played well.
3:28But before we get to the Jets, let's highlight the Patriots, Ochoa. Yeah. Okay. Mike Vrabel has done an unbelievable job. You go. I'm going to let you go ahead and go. Hell of a job. Hell of a job. Listen, Mike Vrabel, I'm not sure what he did once he got there, but he's done one hell of a job. Obviously, it makes things much easier when you have a quarterback that's playing out of his mind and only his second year in Drake May. In the division, they 3-0. Obviously, the talk has always been they're supposed to go to the Super Bowl. This is their year. The Buffalo Bills, they're 2-2 in the division.
4:02The goddamn Patriots have dominated all season long. Being 9-2, this is something I wasn't expecting. Being the fan of the game of football that I am, I didn't think they would be this good. They have been really, really well. And because of the quarterback play, obviously the supporting cast, the defense has played well. Stephon Diggs is playing out of his mind. He's playing out of his mind. He's been playing very, very good football. Matt Collins out there making plays. Douglas doing well as well. And Trayvon Henderson. Is it Trayvon Henderson? Am I saying it right? Trayvon Henderson? Trayvon?
4:34Man, listen. But young bull, nice, boy. Young bull is real. I think so. Young bull, real nice. hey, he's one of the few running backs too, Unc, on the field that can hit his head off the goal post. Oh, he got speed to play with. He got speed to burn. Man, they look really good tonight, man. And on defense, that guy, Unc, that goddamn Christian Gonzalez, he nice. Oh, he fluid. Hey, listen, he nice. I know he's been injured a little bit, but he needs to be in the conversation of top five DBs, especially. Oh, yeah, yeah, he is. I mean, you know, PS2, Stingley Jr., him, you know, those are your top, I guess, people like J.C.
5:19Horn. Some people like J.C. Horn. But I think Gonzalez, I think PS2, and I think Stingley Jr., I think those are the top three corners in my book. Because they all present very different. Now, Gonzalez and PS2, they got kind of similar body types. They're tall, angular. Stengler's a little bit more compact. Probably a little bit, a little more, a little, because a little, probably a little stronger because of the way he's built. But if you look at the way PS2 and the way he glides, he and Gonzalez have a very, very similar game. Yeah. Yeah, Travion Henderson, yeah, he had two rushing, one in there.
5:59Yeah, they threw him one. But, yeah, this is, Ocho, this is a very good team. They're very well coached, and now you see why. that after one year, Mr. Craft's like, you know what, Gerard, I really hate to pull the plug this quick, but this coach is proven and is too good to pass up. And if we don't do this now, there's a good chance. He'd be going somewhere else. Yeah, he'd be going somewhere else. Absolutely. Because if you think about it, the Falcons interviewed Mike Brable, Mike McDonald at Seattle. They interviewed like four guys that are doing extremely well right now, And they settled on Raheem Morris.
6:38And Raheem's going to have to get this thing turned around. But just watching New England, they don't beat themselves. I know, you know, Vrabel doesn't really mention a whole lot, but I think he took a whole lot playing under Coach Belichick. The mannerism, he's not as stoic on the sideline. He's waiting to give his guys high fives coming off the field. He's waiting to hug his guys. You watch him in the hallway, Ocho, when they're coming off the field after Big Rick, he's hugging everybody. hey, come on, get in here. Come on, let's go. He's a guy I would love to play for. He's the type of guy that you love to play for because he ain't going to sugarcoat it now, Ocho.
7:16You know exactly where you stand with Mike Vrabel. Yes, sir. Ocho. Take your time. Take your time. I tweeted a little bit, but I just stopped tweeting because people, you know, I think people are like, man, you pick it on the guy. But at some point in time, Ocho, I'm not so sure Justin Fields is going to ever be what a lot of people thought he would become. Ocho, let me give you some of these stats. He was 3-4-11. He got injured in the fourth quarter for 27 yards. Yeah. He played the entire game against the Broncos. He was 9-17 for 45 yards. He played the entire game against the Carolina Panthers.
7:57He was 6-12 for 46 yards. and lost to Cleveland. He was 6 of 11 for 54 yards. And 42 of those yards came on a screenplay. Screenplay, debris solve. Tonight, before the final drive, he had 75 yards passing. Yes, sir. I think A.D. Mitchell left his hands in Indy. Yeah. Hey, oh, listen. Listen. Now, he ended the game with 75 yards, right? No, he had 116. but before that final drive, he got 41 of the 116. Right. So one of the things I do want to say, before we pile on Justin Figo, I want to talk about some of the drop passes. A.D. Mitchell, two big plays. Two big plays in the first half. Before half, you got to have those.
8:48Especially that goal ball. Yeah. Oh, man, you got to have that. Hey, it's perfect, though. Outside, shoulder, away from the defense. You can't ask for anything more than that, Ocho. You got to have that's perfect red line. You pull that in. Then the wheel route, the out and up, you know, adjust yourself. Slow down a little bit. You know, perfect ball. Outside shoulder, DB has no way to make a play. Has no way to make a play. You got to have that. So those are passes that you got to help your quarterback out sometime. You got to help your quarterback. And that's why the stats look the way they look.
9:24Sometimes they drop passes. He had a couple of drops, but there was a couple, Ocho. He had 80, and 80 probably would have dropped it. But he had him on the hitch. Ocho, he had him on the hitch. Ocho, that's a simple pitch and catch. He threw a wide. Ocho, you put that on him. Because here's the thing. The DB is probably retreating. You put that on him, now I'm going to face you up. There's a chance I can make you miss. At least, at least, I caught it at five. At bare minimum, Ocho, I'm going to get a first down. I might make you miss and get even more. I'm like, Justin, to start the game, you can't, because what do we always say, Ocho?
10:02Give me something. I just want to get my hand. I just want to touch the ball. Just let me touch it. You ain't got to give me nothing sophisticated. Just let me catch a hit. Let me catch a stick. Let me catch a shallow cross. I just want to touch the ball. You give it to me early, you got me late. Justin, how on a five-yard hitch route, you miss a guy that far outside? and listen that goes for the quarterback too most of the time some quarterbacks they don't want to come out with anything they want something short they want a nice low check down to get themselves in a rhythm to get a feeling for the game and not really chase the game but allow the game to come to them and that's what you want you want a slant, you want a hit you want something short but I think right now I'm not sure with as bad as the Jets are everyone around Justin Fields has to be almost dead.
10:54But they don't have that. They have to raise their level of play. They got to raise their level of play to catch up or to make sure they can overcome for Justin's mistakes or his lack of confidence right now. You have to. That's what you need. You need that kind of dog out there. And he didn't play tonight. I think Gary Wilson is on IR right now. So he's going to miss the next now three games after tonight. And boy, they got to muster it up. They got to muster it up. You know, those that are there, John Meachie made some plays. John Messi, I'm sorry, I apologize, Messi. Yeah, he made some plays tonight.
11:31Tight end, you know, little check down play. But that's – Yeah, you got to have that catch. That tight end on the fourth down, you got to hold that one. You got the first down and you get lazy because you take it so long to submit the ball to you. The guy's driving. And bring it in. Yeah, he's driving on. Damn. He knocked it down. But outside of that, man, listen, the Jets, they didn't play that bad. They didn't. They really just couldn't get off the field in that first half. Ocho, they couldn't get off the field. Yeah. I mean, they get them in third. They get them in third and four, third and five, they get a first down.
12:04They get them in third and ten, they get a first down. They just could not get off the field. And I'm like, okay, they rushed three, they rushed four, they bring pressure, and they still didn't get there. I'm like, well, damn, how difficult. I mean, man, how difficult is it? And you're right. And I think a lot of times the drops, maybe that messes with Justin Fields' confidence because he's like, well, am I doing something? What am I doing wrong? Because he'll throw one terrible and then he'll drop a dime. He'll throw two terrible and he'll throw another dime. He had A.D. Mitchell again on the go.
12:36He had Gonzalez in the ass with the ball. I thought he was playing pen to tell on the donkey. I said, well, damn. He had him. He hit Gonzalez in the ass. Yeah, he was beat. And that's the thing. When you get a guy beat down there, Ocho, you know you're already struggling as an offense. You can't miss offense. And that's what I tweeted. I said, Mitchell, you're not that good offensively. You're not that good of a team to overcome those kind of mistakes. That's a flat-out draw. And they're not. And you're saying, okay, you get a guy like Justin Fields and he's struggling. But they don't have the receivers.
13:13They don't have a Chase or a Jetta or one of these top-flight receivers or a couple of them. They need more than one. They need a couple of them that can elevate them. And I just – I just – Yeah, it sucks. It sucks. It sucks. And listen, not only that, they're not playing well. They let two of their best players on defense go. Obviously, you got players for them, so you would hope those players that you got in the trade can step up and play the par. And obviously, it's AD's first week. This is his first game too, right? This is his first game. This ain't the first time he caught a pass, but this ain't the first time he ran a run.
13:54You tell me it's football. You say no matter where you go, wherever you play. Right, right, right, right, right. Listen, I'm not making no excuses for him. You have to make those plays. You have to. You got to. And with Justin Fields out, excuse me, with Garrett Wilson out, you're supposed to be their best receiver. because at the Colts, they had high expectations until you got into Shane Stikens' doghouse with that fumble. It was never the same after that. Now, maybe there was something going on. Maybe that was the final straw that broke the Campbell's back, Ocho. But from that point on, it wasn't the same.
14:29No, but I just don't know how. You throw for 27 yards in a game. You throw for 45 yards in a game. You throw for 46 yards in a game. You throw for 54 yards in a game, and you throw for 116, and 41 of that came on the final draft. I just don't know how you move on and become what people thought you were going to become when they took you as a top draft pick. I think you were 15 to 16, something like that, Ocho. I just don't see the consistency. I don't see him one, two, check it down. One, two, three, out of bounds. One, two, three, gone. I don't see that. And you know as a quarterback, the really good ones?
15:16Yes. Back foot hit? Okay, I'm dropping back. I know the play, Ocho. I'm dropping back. Already done going through it. Okay, we've gone through it through the course of the week. Cover one, we go here. Cover two, we go there. Quarters, we go here. Cover five, we go there. Sky, six. We already know. So when you back it up, the safety has already told you what it's due. Single high safety? Oh, I know where I'm going right now. Oh, he's covered. Let me see where two is. Is two there? Okay, let me take this check down. Oh, Joe, it seems like he's got a dial-up service. He ain't got that 5G. They say they got 10G up in China saying you cut the phone up and it's already gone to what you're looking for.
15:55Yeah, most definitely. I think the fact that also with the offensive line not playing as well as they should be, he's rushing everything a little bit, not being able to go through his progression and understand, And listen, pre-snap, okay, I'm seeing what they're doing. And once that ball snaps, you know, obviously you want that head straight down the field, not giving anything away and not having the time to be able to go through his read. In progression, I think he speeds things up and hurries throws. He rushes throws to hurry to get the ball out of his hands, too. Yeah. I mean, Ocho, I'm looking at against Buffalo, he averaged 2.5 yards of the temp.
16:32Against the Broncos, 2.6 yards per attempt. against Carolina, 3.8 yards per attempt against Cleveland, 4.9 yards attempt. That's not even a running back average is squat if he's doing that. Imagine if you're a quarterback and that's what your yards per attempt is. That is horrible. Yeah, it's bad, but also, you know what else? It also comes down to the weapons around you. It also comes down to what do you have? What is your supporting cast like? Now, you take a Justin Fields, here, hypothetically speaking, right? So you keep the same offense. And you put a Jamar Chase or you put a Justin Jefferson, you put a T.
17:13Higgins or you put any of the top-tier receivers on that team together. You know, a one and a one or a decent two and a one. Yeah. It looks completely different because they can overcome for all the woes that Justin Fields may be having. They can overcome all that. The small stuff. You got Jamar Chase, crazy ass. Can take a goddamn slant and a goddamn hitch, 80 yards. You got T. Higgins, any ball you throw to him, which was considered for most receivers, 50-50. Hell, with him, it's 90-10. Like small stuff like that, where you have players that can elevate their play to overcome for your shortcomings, it makes things easier, but they just don't have that.
17:59Therefore, everybody else has to raise their level of play and damn near be perfect. And that's the issue. That's the issue they have. If you look at the guys that you just mentioned, they had their best seasons. If you think about it, what do the guys do really well? Process information really, really quickly. Oh, yeah. Go back and look at Joe Burrell. Very fast. Now, go back and look at Joe Flacco. It doesn't even look like Chase is falling off. Because Joe Flacco back foot hit, I'm going to him. Cousins. uh sam darnel you couldn't tell who was in there with jenna because they process information quickly you and that is the number one thing how well do you download information and how quickly can you disseminate it i don't care i don't care what type of arm you got i don't care what i got but leg you got can you hey if i input copenhagen spit-free pouches are packed full of american grown tobacco.

21:43Yeah, and the funny thing about it is not only being able to process it, not only being able to spit it out, but you know what makes it even easier? The motherfucker you throw into on the other end of the ball. But I, also, it makes it that much easier. But see, now you got me, okay? I run a hitch route. Now you got me, well, do I need to slide? Do I need to slide? Because I'm anticipating because I don't know where it's going to be. I know normally I'm going to get a hitch. I'm going to get it in the framework of my body, Ocho, because he's not going to be under pressure. Because it's one, two, three, boom, ball's out.
22:15So he's not going to be up under pressure. So I think I'm going to get the ball somewhere in here. Here, here, out. Ocho, not out here. Yeah, yeah. So it makes it difficult. It's like sometimes when you're dealing with a mobile quarterback, it's hard to adjust to them, Ocho, because I run my route. And next thing I know, he way over there. The crowd's screaming. I'm like, damn, what happened? He way over there. I'm like, well, damn. So it's hard when your quarterback is inconsistent. I don't give a damn who the receiver is. You want some consistency at that position, but you want somebody that can digest information.
22:55The coach put it in, and he spit it right back out in the form of getting the ball out of his hand. I hope I'm wrong. I pray I'm wrong, but I just don't know if he's ever going to be what many thought he would be, especially when you look at the game that he had against, who did he play against Clemson? You look at that game that he had against Clemson, and he was sensational. Yeah. And I was like, okay, now, playing with those guys that he had, Alave and Garrett Wilson and all those guys, we understand. See? See? But you realize once you get to the NFL, the likelihood of you having five receivers that are five stars, or be that type of guy, the likelihood is not very good.
23:40Yeah. Does he have a chase? No. Does he have a jitter? Does he have any of the top, top receivers? No. Now, what I will say, he does have Garrett Wilson. Yes. Now, Garrett Wilson was, who had a phenomenal, who had a phenomenal rookie year. With lesser quarterbacks, if you look at him, Ocho, if you look at him, if you just put him on paper, and you say, look at what was thrown to Garrett Wilson when he won Offensive Rookie of the Year. And you look at what's thrown to Gary Wilson. Now, if you just look on the play, just eight. You're like, man, with Justin Fields, he about to go crazy. And he played with him in college.
24:16Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, listen, Gary Wilson is a phenomenal talent. Nothing should taper off when you have a talent like that. It's so easy. When you look at what they're able to do with Devontae Adams and Pupin Akua, hell, JSN. And obviously, I don't think the Jets offensive coordinator has that kind of creativity to put in you and Justin Fields to use Garrett Wilson in the right type of way to create those mismatches like the other team do. I ain't got nobody to get in the ball, Ocho. I can give you all the nice ingredients I want, but if you can't cook, what the hell have I done? I spent a whole lot of money on great food, great ingredients, and I know you can't make a dish with it.
25:00It comes down to it, Ocho. Go look at Chop and the Iron Chef and they get these people okay I'm going to give you chocolate, I'm going to give you onions I'm going to give you stone crabs and I'm like how did you even think of this? Yes. But you give somebody, you give them oh okay I'm going to give you steak, I'm going to give you this I'm going to give you that and you're like what I'm what I'm supposed to make? I just I hope I'm wrong, Chad. I really do. But I just – and I've seen him and I've watched him. Now, this man has gone through three head coaches and probably four offensive coordinators.
25:41Yeah. And I'm not – and sometimes you get lucky and you get to – you get a Sean McVay or you get a Kyle Shanahan. But I just don't know it because at the end of the day, the quarterback position is all about processing information and spitting it back out. That's what it comes down to. It is. I don't care how big your arm is. I don't care how fast your legs are. Can you process it, Ocho? Because that's a whole different ballgame. Because not only must you process it, Ocho, you got to realize they got five. On most occasions, they got four guys that's really trying to tear your damn head off. Oh, yeah, absolutely.
26:20So you got to like, you in fear for your life, but also you got to calm yourself down and say, you know what? Yeah. One, two, check down. One, two, up, throw it out of bounds. One, two, F that, I'm out. Yeah. It's all about that clock in your head. Maybe put him in hurry up the game. Because it seems like when he's in hurry up, he's better. Yeah. Yeah. And then fumble. Yeah, I mean, that's on the center too. That's on the center. Come on now. It's the NFL now. Put the snap at the midsection. The snap should come in the same area every single time. You go through that all goddamn week. I mean, like, come on now.

27:10Come on, center. Don't do that. Don't do that. A little? Man, the ball hit his ankles. But you know what? It's just that, you know, take that away. They got three points out of that. Give the defense credit because I thought the defense gave it one touchdown and two field goals in the second half. Yeah. They did force a three and out on the first possession of the second half, which is kudos. You know, you see, I think the Jets won the toss, and they took the ball. They drove the ball right down the field, something they normally don't do. It normally ends in a punt or turnover, and they drove the ball.
27:49I think they had the ball like 14 plays and drove the ball and punched it in the end zone. But I just, Lord, I hope I'm wrong, But I just don't see where he's ever going to be more than what he is. I don't think he's ever going to be turning to what. And that's okay because everybody ain't going to be a Lamar Jackson. Everybody's not going to be Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes. But, I mean, I think if the Jets could be okay, if he was just like middle of the road, you just can't be the bottom tier. I'm not saying you've got to be top tier. But, I mean, if we got that kind of – if we got – Chad, if you can see this.
28:23If we got this much space, can you be somewhere in here and not be down here? In the middle. Right. Can we get that, Ocho? Mm-hmm. You know what else it all comes down to? You have to be able to play with confidence in everything that you do.
32:23And one of the most important positions where you need confidence is the goddamn quarterback. It's the most important. The most important. Because if you don't believe your body language, your aura is going to say if you don't believe I don't believe either I mean if you don't trust your skill why you want me that's why I used to get in the car somebody butt in their seatbelt hell I fast in mine you know something I don't so you can be I've been around quarterbacks when they walk into the huddle you know they know what the hell they doing and they give you the confidence that you know what the hell you doing.
33:07Exactly. Exactly. Exactly. I hope they get it together. I'm not sure what direction they're going to go in, but the way they've started so far and letting softs go and letting... They're the reveal. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Wait, listen. You going to start over with a quarterback? Yeah, I believe so. You going to draft another one? I believe so. I mean I don't know if there's any quarterbacks that's going to become available probably Sam Donald didn't want any parts of New York again which I wouldn't blame him but look I mean every day it seems like I hear a story about somebody that played there having an interaction with the owner and it's never positive and it's never good right yeah and with that situation I hope AG gets at least three years because it's not like you had a powerful roster to begin with and now you stripped him of his two best defensive players so he's got to get at least two years and without a quarterback you can give him five years and he's still not going to get it done because you're not it's hard it's damn near impossible and I know when y 'all did it in 22 ,000 with the Raiders with Trent Dilfer they don't allow you to play football like that no absolutely not play football like that anymore.
34:30The rules are different. So, no, there's nobody winning another Super Bowl like we won it or like Tampa won it in 0-2. You're not because they won't allow you to play defense like that. Your quarterback is going to have to stand in the pocket and he's going to have to make plays throwing the effing football. Yeah, he's going to be able to use his legs to get out of harm's way some, but he's going to have to be able to throw the football. The days of, oh, we got a killer defense and we're going to run the ball. No, you're not. No. No, you're not. You're not going to win very many games like that because once the team gets ahead on you, once the team gets ahead on you, 10, 14 points, You can't run your way back into a game.
35:12Absolutely not. Let me ask you this, Ocho. Do you like Kyler Murray? Because I believe there's going to be a separation of church and state in Arizona. Uh-huh. Yeah, most definitely because I think Kyler Murray is healthy. I think me personally, I think he's healthy, but they're continuing to want to go with Jacoby Brissett based on how he looked and how the offense moved with him. You know, the few weeks he's been in, if they do part ways with him, I'm sure Kyler Murray will be somewhere else next year. Yes, for sure. How would it look over in New York? I'm not sure. I'm not sure if it's a fit.
35:49It all depends on AG. Obviously, outside of AG, you got to go to the higher powers and see if that's something they want to look into. or do you want to go into the draft? Now, when you think about some of the quarterbacks coming into the draft this year, is there a franchise-altering quarterback that can come in there and change a franchise? I haven't seen anything like that this year. There have been some that have played good, but nothing that just blows you out the water. Like, you know what, that guy, we got to have him. I agree. I haven't seen it yet. I haven't seen it either, Ocho. So we'll see how this plays out.
36:25The Pittsburgh Steelers Stayed atop the AFC North Thanks to a 34-12 victory Although Aaron Rodgers left the game What many believe to be A break in his wrist Mason Rudolph came in Finished 12-16 Won 27 on the touchdown He relieved Aaron Rodgers Who was 9-15 Won 16 on the touchdown They won 34-12 But that was not the story of the game. Something happened late in the ball game. Jalen Ramsey was ejected for punching T, not T Higgins, Jamar Chase in the face. They asked Chase, excuse me, they asked Jalen Ramsey what happened. Huh? Okay, we got, okay, let's take a listen to what Ramsey said after the game.
37:16He's spilling, so it's up. I'm going to get a fuck about football after that, respectfully.
37:24Okay, here's what Chase said. Walk us through what happened with Jim. Extaging words. You were saying that you spit on him? Did you spit on him? I ain't never open my mouth to that guy. What do you think prompted the reaction from him? Well, he don't like some of the words I told him. We've been going back and forth the whole time, so I'm sure something got on this. Yeah. Ocho, all good. We got Austin Briskey, Fox 19. He got it all on tape. Let's take a look at this, Ocho.
38:25yeah that's your guy i've met him a few times i like chase he's the best receiver in football but he spit on jaylen ramsey and you know and everybody knows i've been abundantly clear where i am the most disrespectful thing you can do yeah we know the n-word we know the the kind of the the the connotations and what it summons up. But my grandfather used to always say, he said, boy, you don't spit on me. If you're telling me I'm the ground, that is the lowest thing you can do. Ocho, he spit on that man. And he lied. And Jalen Ramsey said, Jalen Ramsey said he spit on me. So it's up after that. F football after that point.
39:05Take it away. I mean, Uno, y 'all know how I feel about Uno. You know how I feel about Jamar. and you know I'm really critical of players very rarely it takes a lot for me to be critical of someone but this is one of those situations where I got I got to let Chase know boy you're dead wrong boy as much as I love you you can't do that you can't do that you can't do that you can be angry you can be mad you can say what you want to say to a player on the field but you can't spit on nobody bro young boy you can't spit on nobody obviously you know cooler heads will prevail but But in those situations like that, when you're angry, I know you're frustrated.
39:46The game might not be going your way. You're not getting the ball the way you want to get the ball. You know how the division games go. Situations like this happen all the time, especially when it's Bengals, Steelers. It's just like this. It's tight. It's tight. You get angry. You get frustrated. But you can't. You can't. You just can't. You know, as much as I love you, I'm disappointed, obviously, in your actions. I'm going to talk to you. I haven't had the chance today. You know, I didn't want to bother you. But if you look back, you think about it, you probably won't be in this situation again.
40:18Knowing the NFL and the way they discipline, they'll probably suspend you for a game. And it'll probably never happen again. It'll probably never happen again. But this is something you just can't do. Young Bull, you can't do this. You can't.
40:35Just own it. Just say, you know, my emotions, hey, Jalen, I'm sorry. My emotions got the best of me. When emotions are high, logic is low. Ram, I'm sorry. I let my emotions get the best of me. Y 'all, I was wrong. I was dead-ass wrong for what I did. It's hard to do something now publicly, Ocho, and nobody sees it. Because everybody got their cameras out. Hey, Karen's everywhere, huh? Because, Ocho, if they're having a conversation, and you know, hey, sometimes when I get excited, I have to come. Man, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to spend it. We've all done that. We get excited, we start talking, and we accidentally spray him.
41:15But that wasn't no spray, Ocho. That was not no spray. That was not a spray. And he did it, and he lied to reporters. And he said, I ain't open my mouth. You did, Chase. You wrong, bro. You wrong. And I know that's not. What you did, I'm not going to define you by that. But you did that. I don't believe in no show that that that I see the worst thing that person done that is that that's who we that who now obviously we got repeat offenders but there's nothing in his history nothing in his background that would suggest this is not he is so I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt now the NFL they should say they got to sit you down they've got to sit you down for a game that's the least they can do Jalen Ramsey you're gonna get fine a little fine but they're not gonna suspend you because you because your suspension was you got kicked out of the game that was your that was your punishment and you're going to get fined you'll probably get fined uh i don't know 12 000 25 000 something like that but chase you're going to get suspended and i don't know why chase i don't know ocho i'm and i've been mad i know you've been mad at people i've been mad at people I could but to spit on somebody do you know how disrespectful how degrading that is as a black man you Chase you know the history of Louisiana in the south that's what they used to do to your grandpa your great grandpa your great grandma yeah when they was trying to integrate the schools come on Chase we gotta be better than that we can't do that to each other I get it.
42:55Yeah, we get upset. Yeah, we get angry. But come on, we got to do better than that when it comes to each other. For us, I might disagree with something you said. I might not like what you said, and like I said, hey. But I can't. I cannot do that. Because what happens is, Ocho, if you spit on somebody, whatever that individual does to you after that, I'm good with. Yeah. if they whatever if you spit on somebody and that goes for family members anybody if you spit on somebody whatever that person does to you after that oh well because Ocho the thing is you get to control your actions you don't get to control the consequences that comes from your actions I'm just disappointed because he would have been the last person I would have thought
43:57that would do something like this. Like I said, I've been around him half a time. Not like you, Ocho. I don't know him like you. But he was all, you know, guys normally when they see me, they respect me. Hey, what's going on? How you doing? Blah, blah, blah. But man, damn. I mean, and then, and I want and I want, and I wanted to believe, because like I said, I've been around Ram a little bit. But, and he's not like, I said the little bit of time I've been around him and what I've seen him, you know, we DM'd a couple of times. He don't strike me. No, no, no. He just makes himself up. Honestly, you got to think these boys, especially when it comes to Jalen, when it comes to Uno, you know, I'm around these fellas consistently all the time, you know, whether it's working out, whether it's hanging out, whether it's eating.
44:36I hang out with Jalen when he was down here in Miami. And obviously, you know, my relationship with Chase, you know, since he got drafted. Now, that's something even more close. And none of these individuals are like that. but emotions get the best of us sometimes sometimes we make mistakes and I've been in situations where emotions got the best of me and I've done things that are totally out of my character out of my character it's totally uncharacteristic of who I am and what I represent and everything that I stand for and I think this is one of those situations for Chase this is something that happened where obviously logic was low because emotions were high I was upset I'm frustrated.
45:17The game's not going well. Then I got them trash talking to me. We going back and forth. And it just, it got the best of them. And I'm really not the one that is in positions to be the voice of reason. But I'm probably one of the few people outside of family members that Uno will listen to. He will listen to and actually listen and take heed to what I'm saying. because I've been in situations where not to this magnitude, we're not thinking, we're not thinking straight, you know, it can cost you. You know, now this is going to cost them. It's not going to cost them, you know, as much as it did for me for being in a situation where my logic was low as hell, huh?
45:58I mean, it was super low. And it cost me a lot. Now, this is just on a small scale, still in a very disrespectful manner. But that's why you're the perfect person to speak on this because you've been in a similar situation where emotion was high and logic was low. And sometimes when a situation like that, we let our emotion get the best of us, and that's not who we are. But in that moment, just for a second, you threw caution to the wind. We've all been there. And my thing is, Chase, you didn't have to lie. Everybody's going to look at you a certain way, but you'd say, you know what? All you had to do was say, Ram, I'm sorry.
46:31You should have made peace with that man. Hey, y 'all get me Ram's number. I'm going to call him. I want to call him and tell him as a man. I said, bro, I'm going to tell the world that I did. I was wrong. I was dead ass. But I wanted to tell you first, man to man, Ram, I'm sorry, bro. That ain't me, bro. You know me. That ain't me. We're both competitors. You're fighting your ass off of your team. I'm fighting my ass off of my team, and my emotions got the best of me. Ram, I'm sorry, bro. Man, I really hope you forgive me because I don't want your family to lose look at me in that light. And I don't want my family to look at me in that light to know that I did something like that.
47:13Cause I know my family would be very disappointing in me. So I'm coming to you as a man, but I won't tell the world I did what I did. I did. And I want to apologize to you as a man. I'd have, I'd have, I'd have got him in the tunnel. I'd have went to the tunnel. I'd say, bro, Hey, I'm a, I'm a go. I'm a go. Look, I'm a do my press conference, but I'm a fire Ram and say, I'm sorry. I would. And I think he will. and hey that's between him and Ram I don't have to know about it everybody's talking about well he did it nah I'm good just apologize to the man and we're going to keep on moving but just know man Ocho it ain't like when you and I first got in the league they got a couple of cameras bro they catching everything they catch everything and that's why you see guys cover their mouth when they talk to one another Ocho because guess what people trying to read lips y 'all trying to read exactly what Ocho and I talking about man it seemed like he said remember when Jalen Brown was on the sideline, and he and his girl, and they was talking about Bronny?
48:11Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, on the side. Yeah, I remember that, yeah. They did read his lips. That's right. That's right. I remember that. I remember that. Exactly, exactly, exactly. And like I said, hey. We going to get this situation rectified, though. We going to get it rectified. I know. Look, but let me ask you a question, Ocho. The league got to step in because we, and it happened. I mean, but to see, I mean, what? I think this is the second or the third time that this has happened this year. Yeah. We had Jalen Carter week one with the Cowboys. Jalen Carter against Dak. I think there was another situation.
48:46I'm not sure. It was college. It was college, Ocho. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But listen, the league is going to step in. They're going to obviously discipline him. It's probably a one-game suspension. I didn't call Uno tonight. I didn't call him tonight. He got enough to deal with, as it is, you know, coming off a loss. So I allowed 24 hours to go by. So tomorrow, you know, I got to fly to New York tomorrow. So when I fly to New York, I'm going to take that time out. Being that this is off day, I'm sure they're probably going to watch film. And I'm going to catch up later on and even. And just talk to him.
49:17Just talk to him a little bit about, you know, being able to use logic, even in situations when you're not in your right state of mind. Because at times it can cost you. And I'm the perfect example of not using your mind in the right state of mind. and it's not going to cost you big this time, but it cost me my whole career. So using that example with him in a small situation, which was extremely disrespectful, would be perfect because I'm a prime example. Yeah. Ocho. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I told you. We going off the Bengals game already? What you want to talk about? I don't know what you want to talk about.
50:03Listen, Brother Darnell Washington, the way he – Hey, hey, he pissing me off, man. He's supposed – hey, you're supposed to be playing with the goddamn Knicks or something. No, actually he's supposed to have a 70 number. He's supposed to be an offensive tackle. Hey, hey, I'm joking 6 '7", because guess what, Ocho? He got a job. Yes, you see how he moves? He's disrespectful. I'm like, why are you pushing on people like that? Why are you at tight end? Hey, Don Ed Washington, boy, you was balling out tonight. All Steeler fans, for those of you that are in the chat, you know how I feel about you. I love you.
50:42I've always been respectful and shown sportsmanship, and I've shown grace, whether we won or whether we lost. I was always respectful. But Don Ed Washington, what you did to my teammates, I had to avenge them. So whenever I see you in public in the offseason, just know we're going to squabble. we're going to square up and we're going to fight but boy you had a hell of a game boy you had a hell of a game salute to y 'all still a fan congratulations on your win today I love y 'all y 'all got it I hope Aaron Rodgers is okay if he's not okay I think it's his non throwing hand I think something in his wrist is non throwing hand that might be broke Aaron Rodgers do me a small favor put you a hard cast on now put you a hard cast on now and let's play ball next week now let's play ball next week We could play with that, whether it's a small break, a little break.
51:31I don't know why you're talking about our team. Why are you talking about our team? You're not even a stealer. I'm saying, that's not your team. They're in the AFC North, so I feel compelled to be able to. So are the Raiders. Hold on. My team. Hold on. Listen, I feel compelled to support them because my team is out right now. That's all. Oh, your team, I been told you that. Don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that. I been told you that. Don't lose that because if we won the day, if we had won the game today, we would have had a chance. But I told you you weren't going to win. I told you you're going to lose your next – I told you how many games – Chad, how many times did y 'all hear me telling, Ocho, y 'all about to lose out.
52:11And although the window is open, Joe Burrow is back at practice a little ahead of schedule, the 21-day window is open. He ain't coming back. Come back for what? It's all good. It's all good. It's all good. It's all good.
52:30In a battle of seven, two teams that would give the winner's sole position a first place in the NFC West, Sam Darnold threw one, two, three, four. INTs, no touchdown passes, and Seattle lost 21-19 to the Rams. Darnold delivered his worst performance of the season. The Seahawks entered Week 11, NFL's third highest scoring team, despite 16 turnovers, including 10 by Darnold, which is tied for the second most. But they couldn't survive four more giveaways today. Yo. Have you lost any faith? Absolutely. Sam Darnold was 29 of 44, 279, zero touchdowns, four INTs. Absolutely not. No faith at all. Listen, the fact that he do four INTs, they only lost 21.
53:20wait, they only lost what? 21-19, huh? Yeah, only lost 21-19. Okay, Sam Donnelly, you had a bad day. You had a bad day. You've been playing great. You've been playing great all season long. You know, quarterbacks won't have games like this. Quarterbacks are going to have games like this and this is your one. Let's get it out of our system now. Let's get it out of our system now. You know, and going forward, let's get back to the regularly scheduled program on how we've been flowing offensively very smooth. We've been running the ball through the air. We've been great. Yeah, him and Jackson had another good day today.
53:54And Jigba had, what, 9 for 106? Yeah. Yep, 9 for 105. Yeah, 9 for 105. You look good in that area. And I think if you – Man, he just going – Hey, stupid crazy. Dude going to get 2 ,000. Yeah, he will. He probably – He had 12. He had – hold on. They got seven games to go. He's at 1 ,200. Over 1 ,200 now. Yeah. And the funny thing about it – How many yards does JSN have? He hit the 1 ,000-yard mark, I think, last week, a week before last. Oh, yeah, yeah, he over that. He got 1146. So he needs – so he's in 72 catches. So he's averaging seven catches a game. Damn. and he gonna have about two or three games he go crazy though so he definitely the game last week when they were blowing everybody out and he came out that was a game he need games like where they're close and they're going back and forth so that way he gonna be in there and he'll get a 10, 12, 13 14 catch game 185, 200 cause you gotta have you need one game Ocho where you get to 215, 220 yeah because I think that was the year that Megatron was that the year that Megatron broke that record when he had that 329 against the Cowboys remember he had the 329 against the Cowboys and then he needed 329 he needed 8 yards no he needed 10 yards 11 yards yeah yeah to break Flip because Flip got 336 yeah Flip Anderson yep 336 That's the record?
55:47So I was like, damn, he going to get the record. That's a lot of yards. Hey, Flip went crazy on the Saints on that Sunday night. Hey, that's a lot of yards, man. Shoot, Julio. Actually, I played with Julio for a while. He came to Denver. What Julio had? Julio had against the Carolina Panthers. He had 300. That's crazy. Flip ran this? Yeah. Oh, that's crazy. Flip only came Flip came out In 88 Flip came out in 88 He came out with my brother He came out with my brother Cause it was Tim My brother Mike Irvin Aaron Cox Anthony Miller Flipper Anderson Farrell Lemons was a tight end Drafted Keith Jackson, Old Nelly from Oklahoma with a tight end that was drafted.
56:44Yeah. He came up with my brother's second-round pick. Yeah. Aaron Cox was the first-round pick. But, look, Matthew Stafford again, two touchdowns, no interceptions. Clean game. Now he has – how many touchdowns does Matthew Stafford have? 27. Like 25. He's like 25 and 2. Yeah, 27 and 2 now, I think. 27 and 2? It should be – ask Ash if I'm right.
57:14272 272 yeah he gonna win the MVP yeah damn unless Jonathan Taylor come out and have two unless Jonathan Taylor go crazy and he still can because he's a threat to get 200 hey would I be surprised if he got 200 had two 200 yard games no 180 190 no
57:40Stafford ever won MVP before? No, huh? Never. Yeah, they're going to get it to him. I think he just said he got one vote. He finished eighth was the best he's finished. And you know what's funny? Remember Stafford was hurt all training camp? Uh-huh. He's back. Yeah. Oh. Didn't he sign a deal this offseason? Then he got to sign a three-year deal for like 120-something. I think he preserved that arm from training camp. No, he can play. I mean, he's a great guy. Haven't met the guy, his wife. Two-year 84. Two-year 84? So, 42 mil. Good money. Give me a tackle another year. If I win the MVP, tackle another year.
58:3180 guaranteed. 80 guaranteed.
58:39but uh they doing it man the Rams look good but I remember having this conversation I said Ocho and we're going to talk about the Packers here in a second but I was like are we sure are we sure even with Micah the Packers are better than the Rams are we sure they're better than the Eagles and I I was one that stood on the table for the Packers that they are better or just as good if Jordan Love is playing football the right way. If he's playing the quarterback position the way I know he can play it. If he's not, then it's looking shady. It's looking ugly. But if he plays the way I know he can play, to me, it's damn near even.
59:27The Packers pulled out a 27-20 win over the Giants. Jordan Love Love overcome his shoulder injury. Somebody forgot to tell him he's not Derrick Henry. Shouldn't be. But anyway, after scoring just 20 points combined in their previous two games, losses against the Panthers and the Eagles, 16-13, lost to the Panthers, 10-7, lost to the Eagles, the Panthers hit their magic number of 27. They've scored exactly 27 points, not a point more, not a point less, and five of their six wins this season to improve to 6-3-1. Jordan Love, 13-24, 174, two touchdowns. They didn't run the ball. Romeo, Romeo, wherefore are thy hands, Romeo?
1:00:12Christian Watson came up big today, had a big-time catch, a big-time tough contested catch. That was really the difference in the ballgame. And then Michael Parsons closed it out with a strip sack. He ended up having a sack and a half.
1:00:30a lot of people are going to say Jameis threw an interception that's on Jalen Hyatt you cannot stop yes Ocho if you got to out break it right I don't give a damn if the corner is outside you can't pull up because the corner is out there because the quarterback is throwing it on anticipation he don't know that you going to pull up so he's throwing it where he anticipates you to be. You can't do that. You can't do that. Oh, my goodness. Hey, this is why I can't. Chad, now y 'all see why I can't coach. Hey, Unk, that's a teaching lesson. That's why you should be coaching. I ain't got to teach you that.
1:01:09You know that. You can't pull up on a damn route. You got to know that. You can't allow the body or the person there to deter you from getting to your position. If anything, if you got the corner route and he's already sitting out there, you want to beat him to the punch. Beat him to the position. put your body put your body in between the ball and him if he knocks or be there to break it up either if he knocks it down or you make a play on it one or the other but you can't you can't pull up guess what and when I knock it down guess what I'm gonna do Ocho straight out yeah either way you gotta give yourself a chance in that situation you got to give you got to give your quarterback a chance you got to help your quarterback out there yes Oh, my goodness.
1:01:54These guys, bro. I see so many guys all the time on Joe. The guys running an end-breaking route where the guys inside, he pull up. Like the quarterback, they're like, oh, he going to pull up because the guy's in. No. You got to go. You got to go get it. Collide him. You got to break that up because if you don't, it's going to be a pick, which it was. I'm like, Jordan, have mercy. I mean, listen. Jameis. What was Jameis today? Jameis was 19 or 29. 2-0-1, one touchdown. He was sacked twice. Tracy ran hard in the absence of Scataboo. 19 carries, 88 yards. Singletary had 16 for 44. 38 rush attempts, 142 yards.
1:02:32Enum head coach Mike Kafka claimed close but was unable to get a win. Majority Love was 13 of 24, 174. Two touchdowns. Josh Jacobs was injured in this game and did not return. So that's an injury that we're probably going to need to pay attention to and to see how serious that injury is. Bears beat the Vikings 19-17 with a game-ending field goal set up by Devin Duvernay. A 56-yard kickoff return, J.J. McCarthy inaccuracy doomed the Vikings. McCarthy completed 16 of 32 passes for 150 yards, a touchdown, but he had two interceptions. Most of his past attempts were affected by pressure. The Bears blitzed on fewer than 40 % of the snaps, and the four-man rush only reached J.J.
1:03:233 of 19 snaps. Ocho, J.J. McCarthy, 16 of 32, 115 as I mentioned, went touchdowns, two interceptions. He wasn't sacked, but he did look good. Jefferson had five catches, 61 yards. Hawkinson was three for 39. Addison was two for 20. Naylor won a 16, but he did catch a touchdown. They didn't run the ball. Chicago says, you know what? We're going to see if you can do. They returned the favor. Remember the first game? It was McCarthy, that game-winning drive. They ended up beating the Bears. Kayla Williams is getting more and more comfortable. He had 16 of 32, 193. He didn't throw a touchdown. He didn't have an interception.
1:04:04He had a fumble, but it was recovered. They ran the ball 39 times for a buck, 40. Nothing outstanding, but, man, he's hard to get. Look, they got two sacks on him. They probably should have had him about five or six times, don't you? How he gets out of those predicaments sometimes? He gets out of those predicaments sometimes. He gets out of those predicaments sometimes. Hey, listen, one of the few quarterbacks in the NFL, Unc, that can extend plays. He can play off script, you know, and obviously when a player's called, he's one of those when a play breaks down, he can make something out of nothing.
1:04:36He can make something out of nothing, and you add that talent that he already has, you know the escapability the ability to extend plays with the creativity of ben johnson isn't it's it's a match it's a match made in heaven there's a reason why yeah they are where they are there's a reason why their record looks like it looks and i understood what would happen when you get a when you get a head coach like ben johnson and you put him with a talent like caleb williams there's a reason why they're having success this year um he's he's done very well not turning the ball over. He's not turnover prone as opposed to how he was last year.
1:05:11And they playing well. Ocho, if I'm not mistaken, the Bears are in first place in that division. Yeah, how you know? Because the Lions lost tonight. The Lions are 6-4. They're 7-3. What did I tell you? Who are the two teams I told you to watch out for before the season started when I talked to you in August? Yeah. The Bears and the Panthers. I told you. I'm telling you, I know what I'm talking about when it comes to this game of football. I know what I'm talking about. Brock Purdy. We're going to go to the 49ers. Brock Purdy threw three touchdowns in his return from a toe injury as the 49ers cruise 41-22 over the sloppy cards.
1:05:51Purdy completed 19 of 26 passes for just 200 yards, but Christian McCaffrey extended his NFL record with his 17th career game, at least one running touchdown and a catching and a receiving touchdown. The Cardinals were called for a franchise record 17 penalties, which was almost the most for any team in an NFL season this season. They had 11 penalties in the first half, which was tied for the most before halftime for any team over the last 20 years. Jacoby Brissett started his fifth game. Ocho, he was 47-57. That's crazy. 4-52, two touchdowns, but he did have two interceptions. they didn't run the ball, they couldn't.
1:06:36He had two receivers. Wilson, 15 catches, 85 yards. McBride, 10, 115. Dort, 6 for 66. So he was throwing it all over the place, but unfortunately those two turnovers undid it. Brock Purdy, 19 to 26, 200 yards, three touchdowns. McCaffrey had 13 carries, 81 yards, two touchdowns. Brian Robinson Jr. had 8 for 24. George Kittle six catches 67 yards two touchdowns Juwan Jennings four for 54 Christian McCaffrey five for 40 and a touchdown don't look but the 49ers are 7 and 4 after dealing with all the injuries that they've had Kyle still has the right thing about it is everybody's getting healthy at the right time everybody getting healthy at the right time and they gonna hit their stride at the right time we going into we going into the we going into the in December huh coming up huh wait we in November aren't we yeah oh yeah perfect timing perfect timing Ocho Jacoby Brissett started his fifth game he completed a 47-57 pass that's a record huh two the 47 completions are the most completions in an NFL game in regulation that boy Hey, he dealing that thing, boy.
1:08:00He dealing. He dealing. It didn't come with a win. But one thing about Jacoby, he could sling that thing. The Eagles are the number one seed, 8-2. The Rams, number two seed, 8-2. Chicago Bears, the number three seed, 7-3. Tampa would round out the division winners at 6-4. And then you have the Seahawks at 7-3, the fifth seed. Green Bay at 6-3-1. the 6th seed. The 49ers are 7-4, the 7th seed. Right now, Detroit would be on the outside looking in, as would the Panthers, Vikings, Cowboys, Arizona, and Atlanta Commanders and the Saints. So right now, the Detroit Lions are the 8th seed. Jeez. But the 49ers are getting healthy, Ocho, at the right, right, right time.
