In short

Best-of NFL Week 3 recap and debate, focusing on major upsets and struggles: Ravens vs. Cowboys (Ravens stun Cowboys in Brazil), Texans’ 0-3 start, Bills’ ugly win over Chargers, Raiders’ 3-0 start vs. Saints, and Jaguars’ dominant win vs. Patriots.

Guests

The episode is hosted by Ashanti Plummer (Futter Round and Find Out) and features NFL analysis voices “Ocho” and “Joe” (repeated throughout the discussion).

Key claims

Drake May’s regression is severe (multiple turnovers; benched late; Patriots’ 29-point loss). Texans’ offense is failing without Nico Collins (hamstring) and CJ Stroud is frustrated with conservative play-calling; defense keeps games close but production is too low. Chargers are “in trouble” after a penalty-heavy, turnover-heavy loss; Justin Herbert is playing poorly and must be held accountable. Raiders’ early success is driven by veteran Kirk Cousins and finishing; Saints self-destructed with penalties/turnovers. Ravens’ win is attributed to Lamar Jackson’s efficiency and Cowboys special teams/late-game decisions.

Notable examples

Jaguars 35-6 over Patriots; Stroud 16-27, 167, 1 TD; Bills 24-16 over Chargers with 10 penalties; Raiders 35-27 over Saints; Ravens 34-31 over Cowboys with a walk-off 56-yard field goal by Tyler Lockett? (field goal kicker referenced as Tyler Luke).

2:10Shannon Sharpe:The Jaguars defeated the Patriots 35-6. The regression of Drake May continues. Drake May had three more costly turnovers and was benched in the fourth quarter. 14-25, 199, two interceptions and a fumble. Drake may have six interceptions, or the most through three games, by a Patriots since Drew Bledsoe in 1994. The Patriots' 29-point loss today was Mike Vrabel's second-worst loss as a head coach, lost by 34 with the Titans to the Bills in 2022. Drake May, look here. Drake May hadn't been good since the last regular season. Go back and check his postseason out. Right. He wasn't good against the Texans.

2:50Shannon Sharpe:It was just CJ was worse. He wasn't that good against the Broncos. He was bad in the Super Bowl. He started the year off bad. The regression is there. Drake may have been bad. And for people to think, oh, he deserved the MVP. Hold on.

3:07Chad Johnson:Hey, y 'all think that was a fluke that they made that Super Bowl run? I don't think.

3:12Shannon Sharpe:Me personally, that could be wrong. I think if Bo Nix is there, they don't win. They don't beat the Broncos with Bo Nix there. No? No. You see, uh, uh. 4:32Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah, yeah. Joe, tell me why you're rolling to your right and throw the ball out right there. Tell me what you thought was going to happen. I don't I don't what happens is is that guys make plays in college and they think they can come to the NFL and make those plays and every once in a while you'll have a guy make a play you'll see a Mahomes or you'll see a Caleb Williams or you'll see a Josh Allen throw across their body and they'll get lucky yeah it's only a few but eight seven times out of ten it's gonna bite you in the butt yeah because now guess what you throw a pick in the end zone you took points off the board because at worst case scenario y 'all been field goal range.

5:09Chad Johnson:Hey, that pick that he threw in the end zone was like a decisive stretch in the game, Uncle Ocho, because... Yeah. It stopped them from cutting to that 11-point deficit. And then when you think about it in the third quarter, Jacksonville came out, I'm talking about, they weren't playing in that third quarter. They were scoring quick. I think the Patriots' concern was often having these great possessions and not finishing, you know, with points. You know, they was either getting turnovers or field goals. And it's just hard to beat, you know, a decent team like that. The Jaguars look good, man. Hell, the Jaguars 3-0, ain't they?

5:49Chad Johnson:Nah.

5:50Shannon Sharpe:You know they don't 3-0 when they came.

5:51Chad Johnson:You came to my high. Come on now. What, they 2-1? There you go. Look, here he go. There you go. So what, were they 1-2 or they 2-1? They 2-1, I think.

6:03Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. They look good, though. Remember they beat Cleveland first game of the year? Went to Denver, lost to Denver, had a lead against Denver. Denver tracked them down. That's what we do. Spot you. You remember you was little Joe, you was racing, and somebody spots you, I give you a little hand start. That's what we do. We just spot them, let them take off. Walk them down. I'm going to have to use that too. You remember that old Joe? How you race? Go ahead. Hey, get right there. Yeah, I spot you. Hey, Joe, when we play, I'm going to spot you five points till you left.

6:34Chad Johnson:You going to spot who? If you get who, you can hear. I don't need no spy at home. I'm good. I'm Gucci. Gucci Mane?

6:44Shannon Sharpe:I want to know, where are those... Oh, Drake Mane. Drake Mane is a top 10. They quick to put somebody in the top 10, Ocho. With nobody at work, have one good year or half a year. Oh, that's a top 10 quarterback. Normally, we made guys have a complete body of work. We made guys play three, four years before we was willing to put them, rank them. Now, a guy have one good year or a good stretch. Right.

7:16Shannon Sharpe:Go ahead and put them to the top of the charts, Joe.

7:19Chad Johnson:They anoint him quick, won't they? Yes. With that good holy water. Yes, sir. You already know it.

7:27Shannon Sharpe:I don't know exactly what you're talking about. He look bad. Hey, that man got one touchdown and six picks, I think, this year. Six or seven. I thought it was seven. It might be, Ocho. It might be. I know he got more picks than touchdowns, which is never good. Hey, he also lost his number one target, too. That's taking a toll as well. And then you don't have a guy. I'm talking about a dog, one of them dogs. You got some good receivers now. You know, Pop, Boote. Mack Hollins played pretty well today. Hey, Mack almost had a nice one in the end zone, too, right over Travis Hunter. Yeah. He mistimed his jump.

8:05He mistyed out. Yeah. Hey, but them boys jumping. Hi, boy. Mm-hmm. Golly.

8:15Shannon Sharpe:But May, he had Douglas wide open for a touchdown and overshot him. Yeah. When you're on the road, you got to make every play count. When you get your opportunities, you got to cash in. Joe, it's like when you play the game on the road in a hostile environment, you got to make

8:34Chad Johnson:every play count. You got to, especially coming down the stretch. You know, you on the road, bro. You can't afford mental mistakes, mental errors, because they will cost you the game. It will cost you the game.

8:48Shannon Sharpe:So, yeah, but the Jags, Trevor Lawson played really well today. He had a tip that got interception, got intercepted, excuse me. But boy, they can put some points on the board now. You got to be careful with the Jags.

9:02Chad Johnson:35-6, man. They dominated them boys, man. Yes. Matter of fact, you know, I wonder who they are. I wonder who the Jazz got next because they look good, bro.

9:11Shannon Sharpe:I mean, Drake may single-handedly gifted them the game. Hey,

9:18that's your boy, Unc. Don't talk about him bad like that.

9:24Shannon Sharpe:Trevor Lawrence, 19-29, 182-3 touchdowns. Travis Hunter got his first career interception. He finished with four tackles, a pass deflection. What did you like about what you saw from the Jags today, fellas?

9:38Chad Johnson:Man, I like how, you know, defensively, Uncle Ocho, how they were flying around. They had a bunch of guys making plays defensively, bro. Yeah. It wasn't just Trav who got the pick. And I think they hang their hat on defense. To where Trevor Lawrence don't have to be spectacular every weekend. Yeah, he'll have weekends where he throw for three, maybe 400 yards. But I think he's a quarterback who can kind of keep you out of harm's way. You know, protecting the ball, not having turnovers, making sure, you know, the ball going to your playmakers and making the right decisions. But defensively, if they going to lock down like this, man, hey, the Jags, they ain't playing, bro.

10:15Chad Johnson:They coming. Hey, Trevor Lawrence is looking like that number one pick that he should look like. Hello. He's playing extremely well. Obviously, I know it's only week three. but when you're playing well, credit we have to give credit where credit is due he's playing well Jacoby Myers Jacoby Myers stepping up to make him plays, Brian Tomlin Jr baby I need you you hear me?

10:40Shannon Sharpe:Yeah I don't know what I don't know what happened to him I'm not sure what's going on but I need you I need you, you got to make yourself an impact you got to make yourself notice and a presence in that offense man you're a superb player man, you're a superb player Your rookie year, you went crazy. You know, this is your make-it-or-break-it year. You got to get your confidence back up, man, and make some plays out there, young boy. Who else? Parker Washington playing well. Oh, yeah, Parker Washington. That was a hell of a catch you made. You saw that touchdown today? I did. He stole it. That was nice.

11:11That was nice. That was real nice. But, hey, the Jaguars are going to be nice. They're going to be nice. Their defense is really good, but they got hell to deal with this week, though, coming up. Who they got? You mean who they got? Oh, y 'all play the Jags? Yeah. Where y 'all play them at? In Cincinnati. Huh? And you know what that mean.

11:32Shannon Sharpe:I like the Jags. You know what that mean. Hey, Travis Hunter, I tell you what, boy, get you a good night's sleep. Huh? Ooh-wee. Because Uno and Cinco, but we don't play no games, boy.

11:47Chad Johnson:Hey, Trav going to be looking to get him a pick on one of them, boy. A pick on who? I can see it. I can see him Hey Joe He can pick a booger That's about it He pick a booger He ain't finna pick no booger Not on them boys Over there Huh Huh Duval All the Jaguars fans I'ma probably see y 'all In Cincinnati too I'ma see you over there I'ma see you in Cincinnati Lil Duval might show up Huh Lil Duval Nah you know They got a hype requirement To get in the stadium Yeah Hey Duval Boy I love you boy Hey meet me at the game This Sunday, man. What's up? What do you want to do? Huh? Make a little bet. Make a light on yourself.

12:29Mom, are we there yet? Ten more minutes. Only ten minutes? Can you drive slower? What's up with them today? Lingo Kids. That app we downloaded last week? They love it. 14:40Shannon Sharpe:The Colts defeat the Texas 1917. Houston. We have a problem. The Houston Texans are now 0-3, back-to-back season. C.J. Stroud, 16-27, 167, one touchdown. Here's C.J. calling out his OC for being too conservative with the play calls. Let's take a listen, guy.

15:02Chad Johnson:Offensively, we got to follow that motto. You know, just like we can't, you know, just play conservative. We got to be aggressive and, you know, attack and not be the attack. So I think we'll look at it and be better. I like it. I mean, that's something I would love to have a conversation I'd love to have behind closed doors. I wouldn't want to address that publicly, especially right after the game. You're probably emotional. You're upset. You didn't win the game. Your numbers really weren't good. You were 16 for 27, one TD, one 67. I can see where the frustration lies with one to be a little bit more aggressive.

Read the full transcript

15:39But if you be aggressive, who the hell are you going to throw the ball to? Because Nico Collins ain't playing. Your main target, your main dog, well, hell, if you're blindfolded and you got to count on somebody to always be open every single time, he's hurt with a hamstring injury. I'm not saying they don't have other weapons. I'm not saying they don't have other receivers, but you don't have that guy playing. Right. So you can't be aggressive because if your starting quarterback goes down, the play calling changes drastically. If your number one guy goes down, what you can do offensively, it changes drastically because they can't do some of the things other receivers can do.

16:15Chad Johnson:Yeah. Right. Hey, listen. Houston defense, I thought, kept this game winnable. On the late touchdown, you know, it shows some resilience. But for a team 0-3, bro, the bigger concern is offensively, you know, they only producing like 220-some yards a game, bro. You know, against a divisional rival team, come on, man. You're going to need more than that offensively to be able to win these games. And right now, the Texans just ain't got it, bro. They ain't got it. I mean, hold on. What are they playing today? Were they playing the Colts? They're in Indy.

17:00Shannon Sharpe:Indy? Yeah. I think the thing is, is that, Ocho, the thing that concerns me is that he starts to press because he knows he didn't take that deal. they're less out ain't no way unless they turn this thing around drastically there ain't no way that 55 that was on the table last year is not gonna be there next year you don't think so no hey I got a question for you yes I think even though he chose to bet on himself we in week three he's not playing well collectively as a team they're not playing well I think that that deal is still on the table you know why what else out there ain't no other options that quarterback guess what I make him play the fifth year option out because you tell, has he gotten better since his rookie year?

17:42Shannon Sharpe:Would you take any of the subsequent years over his rookie year? No. Remember, unlike Vladimir Guerrero thought, and you see he's apologized to his dad told him that he was wrong about this, and he apologized. I'm paying you based on what I believe you will do. If I see drop, drop, drop, drop, what makes you think I'm going to see climb, climb, climb? Right. You right. You right. Hey, listen, it's week three. 16 to 27 for$1.67, don't you? What I'm going to do with that?

18:21Chad Johnson:What do you got? 4-4-11 on third down. I want to be... 0-4 what? I said 4-4-11 on third down. Oh, I thought you said 0-4-11. I said, but God damn, why they showed up? Damn, that's tough, man. CJ gonna turn it around, man. You know why he gonna turn it around? Why? He a child of God. Huh? A little prayer gonna change that thing. You hear me? Huh? Girl, God working mysterious ways.

18:50Shannon Sharpe:Hey, you know the other guys be praying too, right?

18:58Shannon Sharpe:Hey, Joe. He making me feel like CJ the only one praying. Hey. Hey.

19:09Hey, man, come on, man.

19:12Shannon Sharpe:Man, I'm just saying. Okay, that was a good one. Hey, Joe, before y 'all go out there, don't y 'all say a team prayer before you go out there? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

19:21Chad Johnson:Okay.

19:23Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, everybody praying.

19:25Chad Johnson:Yeah, everybody praying. Exactly. That was funny. That was dope. Oh, man. You got to play better. Come on, Stroud. Let's go, boy. Boy, in that division, Ocho, it's hard. Man, you get out to one of these slow stars like this, boy, it's hard to climb up that tree. Hey, what are we telling?

19:45Shannon Sharpe:Well, look, we saw last year Jacksonville kind of falter down the stretch. Nobody's really running away with this division. Jacksonville's 2-1. The Colts are 1-2. Ocho believes that, hey, Cincinnati's going to beat Jacksonville next week. Colts win. They're tied. Tennessee ain't going nowhere. 8-8? No, man, we'll get to that. Yeah. Tennessee ain't going nowhere. And by the looks of things, if Texas don't get their act together, they're not going anywhere either. Because basically, if the defense doesn't continuously give – think about it. They got a pick. Two fumbles. So they got three turnovers.

20:27Shannon Sharpe:It scored 17 points.

20:29Chad Johnson:That's crazy. And it's funny because y 'all steady talking about, oh, if they don't turn around, them folks 0-3, man. I know it's there early, but to have a turnaround, boy, you got to play lights out football.

20:42Shannon Sharpe:Well, see, what they're doing, Joe, is they're basing on, remember, we started 0-3 last year. Last year ain't got nothing to do with this year. Them teams don't care nothing about what you did last year.

20:52Chad Johnson:And when you ain't got them big weapons out there, Uncle Ocho, he ain't got his main weapon out there. It's hard, bro. Hey. There's a lot of pressure on CJ, bro. There's only so much you can do, Joe. I'm telling you. It's like you got, you got, you got, you got, you play for the Warriors and step out and you still trying to run. I mean, who? Your offense is different. You know, you got guys, but it ain't that guy. They can only do so much. Hey, man, I don't know if y 'all ever played into a contract year to where you turned money down and you had to perform. I've been in that situation, bro. I know what that's like.

21:27Chad Johnson:I know the pressure that it adds on you every damn game, every practice, every day. I know it weighs heavy on that young man. He probably never come out and see it, but, man, he wants to play well. Turning down that kind of money, Joe?

21:41Shannon Sharpe:You turn down 50, 55 a year saying I want 65, 70 a year. Yes. Yeah, you got to bet on yourself. You got one opportunity. You got one opportunity to make that kind of money.

21:52Chad Johnson:And not only that, Ocho, but he playing the quarterback position, huh? Like, you got to have a good quarterback here just to be decent in the NFL. Yeah.

22:03Shannon Sharpe:But here's the thing. Everybody talk about wide receiver and tight ends play a dependent position. So does the quarterback. Yeah. He plays a dependent position. I don't give a damn how good you are. If you ain't got nobody to throw to, what good is that, Ocho? Hey, that's tough. But listen, he plays a dependent position, Unc. But you know what the good thing about that is? At least he got the ball in his hands every play. So he's in control of the outcome. He's more in control of the outcome as opposed to everybody else offensively. So you hear what you're saying? So tell me what you think the Texans are thinking.

22:38Shannon Sharpe:Since you're in control of this and you got the ball, why are we 0-3? I appreciate that, Ocho. See, I was just sitting back, Joe. You see, I was just sitting back. I don't like how you just set me up like that. I don't like that. Joe, I was just sitting back. I was glad he said that. Oh, you don't say. That was good. I set myself a little trap right there. You got me. You got me. Hey, man, I'm just trying to support my quarterback, man, down in my third home. Yeah. I think it's going to be tough. I think it's going to be tough. Because guess what? Hold on. This is fourth year. They picked up the fifth year option.

23:22Shannon Sharpe:Hey, because guess what, Ocho? I ain't really got to do nothing. because guess what? I got a fifth-year option, and I got two franchise tags that I can play with if I need it. I ain't got to make no commitment. Hey, they wouldn't do no quarterback like that, though.

23:37Shannon Sharpe:It's just hard for me, Ocho. It's just hard for me, based on the last three years, to just take a leap of faith that this thing is going to turn around. I got to go by what I see.

23:50Chad Johnson:Hey, hey, hey. And the money they paying these quarterbacks nowadays, boy, think about it. Hell, Baker got his money. He better be happy he got his money. Yeah, dislocated thumb. Yeah, yeah. He out, huh? Wait, throwing hand or non-throwing hand? Throwing. Hey, hey, hey. Think about it. Baker came into this season. He had turned that money down. Boy, please. He would have been, hey, Joe, he would have been mad. What? You got a dislocated thumb. So what you down? How long?

24:15Shannon Sharpe:What, four, five weeks? It all depends. They're going to see if there's ligament damage. Ligament damage, he might be done for the year. The season, huh? Yeah. Yeah, because you got to, I mean, to get that thing strong enough to hold that ball. Hold the ball. Ooh. Hey, that's tough. That's tough. That's tough. I agree with you, Joe. I've been in that situation playing in a year. I went crazy. Yeah. But I also was in a year, and I broke my collarbone.

24:46Chad Johnson:Yeah. Ooh. It happens, bro. You got to take that gamble sometime, though, Uncle Ocho. You do?

24:53Shannon Sharpe:Hey, you do? Yeah. Well, they didn't give me no choice. They didn't offer me an extension, so I didn't have no choice but to play it out.

25:01Chad Johnson:Right. Yeah. I was offering an extension, but we had a whole different team assembled. We was a new team, so I didn't know how it was going to turn out. I was just thinking, hell, I'm going to turn this money down. Worst case, I'll be able to get this next summer. I ain't going to play that damn bad. You know what I mean? That's what I'm thinking. That's what I'm thinking, Ocho. I ain't lying to you. I'm like, even though I don't know what type of team we're going to be because the year before we wasn't a playoff team in Phoenix. But then when we add Nash and Quentin Richardson, all of a sudden we jump to the top team in the NBA.

25:33Chad Johnson:Hell, nobody's seen that coming. So I benefited from that. Yeah.

25:45Shannon Sharpe:The Bills defeat the Chargers 24-16. This game was ugly as it gets. Bills had 10 penalties. Chargers had seven penalties. The last time the Bills won a game with five turnovers was September 21st, 1997. Ironically, Jim Harbaugh was the quarterback on the other side for the Colts. Josh Allen was running for his life, took a helmet to the knee at 946, left at the ballgame. He grimaced, limping postgame, leaning on his right leg, painful to step back into the locker room. Justin Herbert was 20 or 34. 226, one touchdown, one interception. I mean, when you have five turnovers and you have that many penalties and you still win a game, I think that says more about the other team than it does you.

26:31Shannon Sharpe:Right. Now, at some point in time, we're going to have to hold Justin Herbert accountable. Everybody keep, oh, he's so arm-talented. He's so athletic. I don't give a damn. It's like having a pretty girl and she got a foul mouth and she nasty. Hey. You know, when they like you, they give you grace, huh? That's what I've been told when it comes to Justin Herbert. Everyone likes him, so they give him grace. Can you imagine if this was some other quarterbacks that have been playing like this? Oh, and then had the girl at training camp, they all sitting on the field kissing and hugging?

27:04Chad Johnson:Yeah.

27:05Shannon Sharpe:No, I couldn't imagine. Hey, man, come on now. Come on now. Damn. Come on now. He was awful today.

27:14Chad Johnson:Yeah.

27:14Shannon Sharpe:He was awful. Throwing down right down the middle of the field. He got picked twice. They called one back.

27:23Hey, James Cook was cooking today, boy. Yeah. Old chef. He was cooking. Oh, Joe, do you got James Cook?

27:33Chad Johnson:What's up? You trying to do something? Nope. I don't want him. Yeah, you want him. You just don't want him. You know what I mean? Hey. Who I got that you want? What you got? You got receivers over there? I got a bunch of receivers. My receivers ain't doing that. That's why I'm losing, hell. That's not why you lost, Joe? That is why I'm losing. No, because you lost because you played me. Man, you just lost. To who? To Unc. Well, I lost to Unc, and then you lost to me. So what did that tell you?

28:06Shannon Sharpe:Huh? What did that tell you? All I know, the Chargers had extremely high expectations based on what they were able to do last year. And Justin Herbert, they told me he's only going to get better. Better. Well, he need to get better from game four moving forward because he's been some crap the first three games of the season. I agree. I agree. We got to hold – look, the one thing we do on NICAP, we hold everybody accountable. If you play good, we don't have a problem saying you play good. But when you play like Cal Dung, we're going to say you played like Cal Dung. And he's been playing like that.

28:41Shannon Sharpe:Now, they're going to put it on for everybody else. Talk about the defense did this. All I know is the defense gave this man five turnovers today. Yeah. Five. You got to do something with at least. Any later league. At least give me some points. Give me some points. Out of five of them, at least three got to end up with points. At least three. And I ain't talking about no doggone field goals either.

29:05Chad Johnson:Your defense give you opportunities like that, Uncle Ocho. You know, obviously the interceptions. but the offense only managing one damn touchdown it's going to be hard to compete bro. Yeah.

29:19Shannon Sharpe:You're on the road you can't kick field goals on the road. We just talked about that with the Rams. Remember they kicked three field goals instead of getting touchdowns in that situation. Stafford missed Devontae a couple of times. Had him on the out and up. He had some chances.

29:37Shannon Sharpe:But Justin Herbert's playing bad. and you know hey let's point it out he's played bad yeah hey Unk you think it's his new relationship might be distracting him a little bit I don't know if that's distracting him I don't know what it is I just know had somebody else I could just imagine had Lamar been out like that and doing carrying on like that I know what they would have said I know what they would have said yeah but you know he private though he private he don't move like that good he should be he private everybody don't even know in his business I don't know maybe one of the few quarterbacks who was seen regressed you know as this scene has started yeah he look bad yeah you know the love life you know his blossom hold on

30:31Chad Johnson:who is who is who's the lady Ocho who's the lady

30:36Shannon Sharpe:Madison Beer She an actress, right, Ocho? Boy, don't get me the line, boy. I don't know. I don't know them people. Oh, you think he a little sidetracked because of it? Eh, maybe. Because it's impossible to play this bad as opposed to, I mean, you weren't all world last year, but you was decent, you know, for who you are. And this year you've been like cold slaw, boy. He like stepped off a cliff. He looked like a totally different quarterback. I don't know if the relationship had anything to do with it. I just know they would have put two and two. They would have tried to put two and two together had that been Lamar.

31:12Had that been – I mean, boy, let that been Lamar.

31:16Shannon Sharpe:Because all the other – I think – hold on. Who the other – or Caleb Williams. They get on Caleb Williams for painting his nails. I can just imagine if he had somebody, oh, my goodness, this is why he can't focus. He can't concentrate. You know, Hurts and Mahone, boy, they married. Yeah.

31:36Shannon Sharpe:This is not good. Hold on. Again, maybe we overreacting because it's only week three. Maybe. But at least. No, we overreacting. He playing bad. We might want to say the team, the team, no, no, no, no, no. There ain't no overreaction. He playing bad. No, no, no, no, no. There ain't no overreaction. He's playing bad. You might say they might turn it around, but in order for them to turn it around, he's going to have to play better. Yes. It all starts with him. It all starts with him. Damn, that's tough. So, no, there ain't no overreaction. Justin Herbert has looked bad. Call it what it is. And, look, Josh Allen had been flawless.

32:22Shannon Sharpe:He hadn't really turned the ball over. But we know he has this in him. He has the ability to go two, three weeks and don't turn it over. but when he turns it over, Ocho, he has the ability to turn it over in bunches. Yeah, I was going to say in bunches, yeah. Yeah. He got to get right, man. He got to get right. Damn. Damn, Herb, they on your head, right?

32:52Shannon Sharpe:When you make that kind of money, their expectations goes up exponentially. It's really that simple. the more money you make no matter the job or the occupation the more is expected of you that's just the way it is and you know what's even worse though Uncle Joe what's that Chad not only did they lose the game today to the Bills the next three games I don't know is the commission responsible for giving them their schedule they got Seattle next after Seattle they got Denver and after Denver they got the damn Chiefs

33:26Chad Johnson:damn hey hold on What's their record, though? 0-3. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. They in trouble. The next three games don't get no better. Damn.

33:41Shannon Sharpe:No, they're playing bad. He's playing bad. He's the ringleader. And they got the Rams after that.

33:53There's a very good chance they go 0-6.

33:56Chad Johnson:A great chance. And then what? Some changes going to be made? Hold on. They just paid him. I think Harbaugh's safe. Yeah, Harbaugh's safe. He just got there. He ain't going nowhere. What they paid Justin Herbert? What'd he get? 55? That bag? When he got it? Last year?

34:13Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, like two years ago. He ain't going nowhere. That bag? 55 a year? He ain't going nowhere. Shoot. But, yeah.

34:27Shannon Sharpe:There should be cause for concern.

34:33Shannon Sharpe:There should be.

34:35Chad Johnson:Mom, are we there yet? Ten more minutes. Only ten minutes? Can you drive slower? What's up with them today? Lingo Kids. That app we downloaded last week? They love it. 36:46Shannon Sharpe:The Raiders defeated the Saints 35-27. How about the Raiders? 3-0. The Saints did everything in their power to give this game away with eight penalties and four turnovers. First cousin, Ken Foltk, Kirk, 22-33. 2-48, three touchdowns. You know, Mendoza, he knows I got to play well. He wants to keep this job. He wants to, you know, the one thing about O 'Kem Folk, now he going to try to get some more money at you. Oh, yeah. Absolutely. He don't play. The Raiders are the fourth team in the common draft to start the season 3-0 after making a number one pick in the previous draft. They're the only team not to have that pick play at any point.

37:28Shannon Sharpe:The Raiders had a 6.7 % chance to start the season at 3-0 per ESPN Analytics. First cousin this season, 248, three touchdowns, win. Win. 253, three touchdowns. Win. 160, three touchdowns. A win. Woo! Football is finally back and PrizePix is bringing out its best offer yet. New users who sign up get$150 in lineups if you win your first$5 lineup. Hey, what's one thing we know about Kirk Cousins, boy?

38:52He going to deliver. Every time. Like Amazon, Joe. If you give him time to sit in that pocket, boy, he's surgical with that guy. Oh, I'm sorry. He's surgical with that ball. You hear me? Yeah. But that boy knew he could throw that pig skin, boy. Brock Bowles went crazy today.

39:10Chad Johnson:13 targets, 10 catches, a buck, 16, a touchdown. 13 targets for a tight end? Oh, he ain't just any tight end. Ain't that your guy? Ain't that your guy, Joe? No, I ain't got Brock Bowles. No. Hey, Joe, this ain't just any tight end. Like, when we talk about the top three in the league, it's out of him and Trey McBride. Yep. Yeah. It's them two. It's a toss-up, depending on who you like. Yeah. Hey, Kirk got that dealing, boy. It's going to be hard for that young fella to get out there on that field this year.

39:39Shannon Sharpe:Well, I mean, all things being equal, I don't really think they're trying to get him out on the field this year, Ocho and Joe. I think they're trying to let him see how the game is, the speed of the game, getting prepared, study. This is how you study. You're the first one in. You're the last one to leave. Always ask the right questions. If something you don't know, ask questions. There are no dumb questions. just sitting there makes you not where you need to be. So all things being equal, knowing Clint Kubiak played with his dad, dad was my offensive coordinator for a number of years. The one thing he's going to be, they're not going to rush him.

40:17Shannon Sharpe:They're not going to rush Mendoza. And even Brady said, I think we rush these guys too much. Nobody wants to learn how to play the position. They just want to throw you out there. Out there, yeah. And how you learn on the run. No kind of development, and know nothing. Everybody ain't Peyton Manning. No. And everybody want to compare a style. Look at Peyton. This is what Peyton was. His first seven years in the league, this is Peyton numbers. This is... Bro, stop it. Peyton was running his all offense. I tell you what, how many quarterbacks you think could call their own game, Ocho? Maybe him and Brady?

40:56Shannon Sharpe:So, no, But the Raiders, I did not anticipate the Raiders being 3-0, scoring 35 points on the road. Tyler Shook was 29-42, 255, four touchdowns, one interceptions. Jawan Johnson, eight catches, 53 yards, two touchdowns. And I think he fumbled it at the end of the game.

41:16Chad Johnson:Yeah. Man, New Orleans had a five-point lead in that fourth quarter. Yeah. And the Raiders came, they scored 13 straight. You know, which kind of tells me one thing, you know, the Raiders' ability to finish and having a veteran quarterback back there who knows how to spread that ball out. But when you think about it, what happened to New Orleans offense, you know, when the game was there for the taking at the end? Right. I don't know.

41:51Shannon Sharpe:That's the hard part because you played so good thus far. and then when I really need to make plays, Ocho and Joe, I need to get first downs, I need to stay on the field, I need to get the ball, we can't do it. No. That's how you – me, I've always measured offenses and defenses according to what you do when you got the habit. It don't mean anything. When I absolutely got the habit, can I go get in field goal range? Can I get a game-winning touchdown? When you absolutely got the habit, can you get a stop? Can you get off the field on third or fourth down? Can you keep them out of field goal range?

42:26Shannon Sharpe:Can you do that? That's how you measure it. Right. What good is it, Ocho, if I score 35, if I'm averaging 35 points a game, and then on the last drive, I can't even pick up a first down?

42:39Shannon Sharpe:You're the number one rated defense, but now when I need to stop and get off the field, the team go right down the field, get in field, go right, kick a field goal, they win the game. Yeah. So if you can't do what you need to do when you absolutely have to, it ain't no good to me. Yeah. but when you turn the ball over like they turned it over, Tyler Shook two fumbles, lost Jawan Johnson, late in the ball game fumble, lost, Tyler Shook interception, bro you turn the ball over four times and commit the penalties you're losing you're losing so I don't think anybody's and New Orleans was playing well I mean you can make a case New Orleans easily could be 3-0.

43:25Shannon Sharpe:Yeah. They got holes in Detroit. That was a fumble. Jerry Goff fumbled that ball. That wasn't no damn pass. Yeah. I agree. Good teams find ways to win. Bad teams find ways to lose. Every time. It's always been like that. Joe, you see it in basketball all the time. Team might have a 10-point lead with two minutes to go and find a way to cough it up.

43:49Chad Johnson:Yep. You make them bonehead mistakes down the stretch, especially in basketball, hell, they're going to cost you. Same thing in football. In turnovers or them bonehead mistakes. Yeah. It's hard to win like that. Man. So, the Raiders,

44:09Shannon Sharpe:nobody saw this. Nobody saw the Raiders being 3-0. I wouldn't lie. Absolutely not. Absolutely not. I knew they would have a game here or a game there because Kirk Cousins, obviously we've seen him do it. We seen him play well as a savvy veteran. But 3-0, I ain't had him a bingo card.

44:31Chad Johnson:Joe, your guy got loose on the 36-yarder, Mike Washington Jr. You seen him? He been balling. Hey, not just preseason, Ocho, but when he get his opportunities, he make plays, huh? Yeah. He make some plays. Yeah. The Raiders got a nice little one-two combo back there in that backfield.

44:54Chad Johnson:How about this?

44:55Shannon Sharpe:We go to another game. The Ravens defeat the Cowboys 34-31. The Cowboys, ooh, 11-hour flight back home in dead silence. I don't want to hear nobody say a god-doggone word. Tyler Luke drilled a game-winning 56-yard field as they walk it off. Tell me, can somebody tell me why the Cowboys would kick a touchback? Why not squibber and keep it in the field of play? Because you kick it. But anyway, that's neither here nor there. But anyway, that puts the ball at a 35-yard line. You do realize that, right, Joe? Did the Cowboys realize that, that if you kick the ball in the end zone, it goes to the 35?

45:34Shannon Sharpe:So guess what? A 20-yard play, guess what? We in field goal range.

45:39Chad Johnson:Yeah. You know what? It's hard when you have Lamar Jackson back there and all those weapons, and you can't generate pressure on him, and you let him sit back there and just pick your ass apart. like he did us today because that's pretty much what it is. And then guess what? If you do have everybody covered, he out the back door on your ass. He gone. Yep. You know what I mean? I'm not going to lie. The Ravens is a hell of a team, bro. I thought we done a pretty good job on De 'Aaron Henry, though, Unc. I'll let you talk about he going to run for 400 and all that. How many times they went for it on fourth down and didn't get it?

46:12Chad Johnson:Y 'all stopped him. You right. Hey, he had 26 carries, two TDs. What, 89? He had 89 yards.

46:19Shannon Sharpe:Well, I don't know what the offensive line was doing, leaving it. First of all, on the fourth and one, they left the mic backer unblocked. He ran right through the gap. When he came through the gap? Yeah. I like what the hell. 55 a rookie, huh? I think so, yeah. Hey, he was balling. And then on the other fourth down, the tight end got jacked up. The tight end went tippy-toeing, and the end jacked his ass up. Sodom and Derrick Henry Lapp, he couldn't get started. But that's neither here nor there. I mean, look, all that, I don't want to get into the minutia. Hey, y 'all won, huh? Y 'all won, huh?

46:49Shannon Sharpe:Yeah, yeah, all that other stuff. Joe talking about he talking about he going to run for 400 yards. Did we win the game? Yeah, yeah, man. Chilled, bro. It was sensational. 15 to 20, 186, two touchdowns, no turnovers. I could deal with that. It was a great game. What do you mean?

47:06Chad Johnson:You act like y 'all did put BTA to us. It was a good game, man. Y 'all won on the field. Y 'all won on the field goal. Walk off. Walk off. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What's up? Ocho, chat, chat. My phone ring as soon as the damn game over went. I'm like, damn. Who could be calling me? Wait, hold on, Joe. He called you? Man, man, he blowing my phone up after the game, Ocho. Hold on. Hey, Ocho. He called your phone. He didn't even wait for the show. He called you after. Ocho, I didn't answer the first one because, you know, I already know. He sure did, Ocho. I know he didn't want nothing. I know he didn't want nothing.

47:41Chad Johnson:That's why he asked him. He called right back. You know what I mean? He called right back like, damn.

47:46Shannon Sharpe:What's up, man? Hey, Ocho. Ocho. Joe, Joe say, man, what you want? I said, Joe, man, I just called to see if you needed something. He said, man, you know I ain't need. Hey, he said, man, you know I ain't need nothing, man. Man, come on, man. Damn. Listen, hey, listen, the Ravens won. The Ravens did win the game. It was a good game, though. It was a great game. It was a really good game. It's a great game if you're on the winning side. No, no, no, no, no. It was a great game regardless of who won this game. Hey, hey, hey. Listen. No, no, no, no. Ain't no regardless.

48:23Chad Johnson:No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. If y 'all beat us by damn 21, okay, that's one thing. But we was in a fight. Yeah, it was a good fight. Hey, you lost. Oh, y 'all barely got out of there. The ref stopped it. Y 'all barely got out of there. Hey, sometimes you lose the fight, though. Sometimes you lose the fight. You ain't going to win everyone. Hey, hey, hey, hold on, hold on. Hey, you going to find that out next week. Hey, Ocho, hold on. Huh? 55 and then number six. I think both of them rookies, ain't they? For the Cowboys. Boy, them boys down there ain't playing, boy.

48:54Chad Johnson:Hey, 55? I don't know young boy's name. What is it? What's his name? What's his name? For the Cowboys, number 55. Oh, Barwin. Bar him. Bar him. Boy, that boy, they be balling, boy. Deshaun Barham. Ocho, he was balling in preseason, but you know, everybody like, oh, it's preseason, he ain't X, Y, Z. And that boy for real out there. Yeah, he nice with it.

49:20Shannon Sharpe:Y 'all need to get some more for real out there because y 'all wasn't for real.

49:24Chad Johnson:Yeah, look, y 'all got us over in Brazil because that was a home game for us. We left Jerry World to go to Brazil and play you boy.

49:31Shannon Sharpe:So we, you know, we lost the same thing. Y 'all, it would have been the same thing in Dallas. It wasn't nothing changed.

49:36Chad Johnson:No, no, no. Yeah, yeah. We lost to a better team. We lost to a better team. Y 'all was a good team today. I'm going to give y 'all credit. But you got to relax, though. You got a lot going on. Y 'all ain't a good team. We're a good team.

49:46Shannon Sharpe:The Ravens are a good team. Y 'all not. Here we go. My team's two and one. We're going to put BTA to Ocho in a couple of weeks. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Who? The Ravens. Yeah. Oh, you know what? Don't worry about it. Hey, you feeling yourself. You feeling yourself tonight. It's cool. I don't bother nobody, Ocho. I'm just over here. I'm just. Well, listen. I'm coming over here with confetti and everything. next time the Broncos or Ravens lose, huh? I'ma bring, hey, Joe. Why you got through all that? Hey, Joe, I'ma bring my smoke machine out. I'ma have smoke. We gonna have a party, boy.

50:24Chad Johnson:Hey, can I ask y 'all a question, though, seriously, about Baltimore? If they got to continue to win shootouts like this, how far y 'all think they'll be able to go?

50:34Shannon Sharpe:Boy, they sure needed Zay Flowers. I was glad he was back today.

50:37Chad Johnson:Hey, I'm like, come on. Yeah, Zay. They not getting Zay involved enough, huh? They not getting him involved enough. I mean, he had a fast 84.

50:47Shannon Sharpe:But you got to realize, Ocho, they only threw the ball 20 times. Yeah. They only threw the ball 20 times. And, look, the Cowboys had 70 plays. They ran 12 more plays than the Ravens. The Cowboys were doing a great job, but they couldn't get the ball in the end zone.

51:06Chad Johnson:Yeah, absolutely right. Damn three points ain't going to help us, bro. We need seven, six.

51:12Shannon Sharpe:Hey, hey, hey. What I didn't get, Ocho, on that third down? Yes, sir. Why he just throw the ball over Pig Head? You don't even want to give him a chance. Look, get in the end zone. I'm going to take a shot in the end zone, knowing that I can't throw the ball in the field of play, because if I get tackled in bounds, I'm not going to be able to get another playoff. Why would you just shoot the ball over his head? You don't even want to give him a chance? Hey. Man. What, bro? Just give him a chance. I thought they should have gave him a chance, and it looked like Dak was disappointed that he just backed up and just threw the ball over his head.

51:50Let it, yeah.

51:51Shannon Sharpe:Like they just conceded, okay, we'll go to overtime. Right, if there's time on the clock, but I thought the special teams also. You cannot kick that ball in the end zone, Ocho. Yeah. Joe, you can't because if you kick it in the end zone, it comes to the 35. 35. A 25-yard, a 20-yard completion, I think that completion was, what, 22? Bro, they in field goal range. And with these kickers' legs now, Ocho, when you and I played, Ocho, that probably was going to be a Hail Mary attempt. Now, 60 yards and under, maybe 65 and under, they're tipping the field goal. Yeah, it's about three or four kickers.

52:33Yeah, you see Cam Little try to 70.

52:36Shannon Sharpe:He had the leg. He was just off a little bit. Off a little bit, yeah. These guys now can kick the ball. 60 yards is like a 50-yarder used to be. Yep, most definitely.

52:45Chad Johnson:Hey, what's the difference in it nowadays? Why y 'all think it is now? You think guys practice these deep kicks now? No, I mean, you have to think most of the people that can kick that far, they have a soccer background. They come with Brandon Aubrey, soccer. Cam Little, also soccer. There's one more. God, I can't remember his name. Who's the other kicker that has a very, very strong leg, really strong leg? I can't remember who it is. Joe, it's one more that has a soccer background. Soccer is their first sport.

53:16Shannon Sharpe:But these kickers are lifting more now. These kickers, the kickers in the past, they really ain't lifting. These jokers lifting on their legs. Hey, that swing, as fast as they can swing that leg now, you look at these guys kicking the ball, everybody can kick the ball in the end zone. but they back off it just to pooch it so they don't want somebody starting at the 35. That's why teams don't really kick the ball in the end zone anymore. But I'm just trying to figure out. I don't know why they did. I don't know why the Cowboys did. Here's Lamar on the timeout with one second remaining. Let's take a listen to what Lamar had to say.

53:55Yeah, it was a get-down timeout situation. It's something we've been practicing since camp. We were practicing almost every day after camp, probably mixing in practice sometimes. We were surprised because we didn't go over that all week. We wasn't expecting to be in a situation like this, but coach called the play. We all, everyone was on the same, same, same timing. Zay did a great job. Line did a great job at protecting. Zay ran a great route, and I just had to deliver the baby. he caught it and I was just as soon as he get down please see me ref but he did shout out to everyone shout out to the whole offense defense man especially to me

54:34Chad Johnson:man he didn't get that time out in time he got time out I saw him he got time time time come on hey Joe and it wasn't even Lamar calling boy everybody was calling time out once he caught that ball the time had to ran off no

54:50Shannon Sharpe:y 'all chances of running had ran off that's what that's what they ran out Y 'all chances of winning. The Ravens started to drive with seven seconds left in regulation. That is the latest start to a game-winning drive off of a kickoff since 1978, including the playoffs. This is the first game in the Super Bowl era, Super Bowl era goes back to 1966, that each team made a field goal in the last 10 seconds of the fourth quarter. Hey, that's crazy. That hurt, Joe. The problem, man. I mean, it hurt like jumping on a bicycle without the seat. Well, maybe they hurt that much, but they hurt.

55:26Chad Johnson:Hey, the problem is we America's team, but we was in Brazil, okay? Yeah. That's the problem here. That man didn't get that time out. We supposed to be going in overtime, man. Hell. Y 'all was going to lose, Joe. Now we wasn't. Now we wasn't. We could win in overtime.

55:44Shannon Sharpe:Well, I don't know what would happen, Joe. I got a question, Joe. Yes. Yes. Hey, Woodman boy, what pick his numbers look like today? He had a couple catches. He had seven for 82, Ocho. Okay. On 11 targets. Okay, okay.

56:00Chad Johnson:Man, damn pick catches here and we lose. His catches don't mean nothing. We lose, Ocho. Well, maybe if he had more of the goddamn ball. No, no, no, no, no. No, damn there. If we didn't have to try to force feed him and we just play ball, we could win the game. His numbers may not be as got it. Hell, it's early in the season, man. Okay. Damn. You got Dak out here trying to force feed everybody, man. We ain't got time for all that, man. We need dogs. Y 'all got time for it. Y 'all got to make time. No, we ain't got time for that. We ain't got time for that. Hey, hey, hey, pick on get his fast share, bro.

56:33Chad Johnson:But we can't force feed. Hey, I don't know, man. We ain't. It was real discouraging. Hey, Joe, y 'all going to be all right, Joe? It's only week three?

56:43Shannon Sharpe:Joe, y 'all not going to be all right. I told you this. Y 'all got more disappointment coming. Y 'all going to be straight, Joe.

56:51Chad Johnson:We don't plan on going 16-0, okay? But I do expect for us to have games like this where we fight. Obviously, we come up a little short. But, man, listen, we got to be better, bro.

57:06Oh, Joe, y 'all got the Texas next week. Oh, yeah, that might be a win, Joe, because the Texas 0-3 now.

57:13Chad Johnson:Yeah, them folks by the fold, they 10 over there in Texas. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But nah, nah, nah, nah.

57:18Shannon Sharpe:But their defense gonna get after you, though.

57:20Chad Johnson:The offense was slow. Their defense gonna get after you. I ain't putting nothing past the Texans here. There's two Texas teams who gonna fight it out. Y 'all already know. The Texans, they looking for their first win. I ain't putting nothing past them. We got some work to do. Where we playing at? Where we playing at? And then they got Green Bay. And the Houston. And the Houston. You wanna let go to the game, Joe? Nah, I ain't. Woo! Woo! Woo! What's up?

57:47Shannon Sharpe:What you doing all that for? And then y 'all get the Buccaneers, Bakers out. Then you get the Packers, the Eagles, the Cardinals, the Colts, the 49ers. Y 'all got to break with the Titans. Then y 'all get the Eagles, the Seahawks, the Rams, the Jags. Oh, man. Oh, there ain't no playoffs.

58:06Chad Johnson:Hey, you got to slow down. We going to win, Bobby. Hey, Unc, you foreseeing the future? No playoffs? No playoffs for the Cowboys. Man, please. Oh, Joe, we're going to run out by four in a row.

58:18Shannon Sharpe:We're going to run out by four in a row. Hey, Joe, listen, Joe, I'm with you when you're right. I'm with you when you're right. Y 'all going to be having some bad food. That's the only running off y 'all going to do. What y 'all eat that was bad and tore y 'all stomach up? Hey, Joe, I support you, man. I understand. I understand how you feel. Yeah, misery loves company, Joe. His team lost. That's why he support you. And his team would have won. You think he'd been supporting you, Joe? Yeah.

58:41Chad Johnson:You got to chill, bro. I just asked you, Joe. No, no, no. I'm just saying. I'm saying you doing the most right now.

58:47Shannon Sharpe:I'll just let you know you're doing the most. Okay, but let me ask you this. In all honesty, in all sincerity, do you believe had Ocho team won, he would be as supportive as he is currently? Yeah, because – Hell no. Hold on.

59:00Chad Johnson:He'd be on your team right now talking big boys. Hold on, hold on. I ain't no fool now. Hold on. Time out. Okay? Time out. Now, Ocho, hold on. Now, I ain't no fool. Now, I know what's going on, okay? But he feel like he in the same boat with me, So he want to team up and all that. Hold on, hold on. Hey, Joe. See, time. Hold on, hold on. What you talking about, Joe? See what I'm talking about? See, I wouldn't have done that because I beat your ass in goddamn fantasy today. I ain't even say nothing. Hey, y 'all. I ain't even say nothing. So now you're telling me I wouldn't, I wouldn't. So you know what?

59:30Okay, well, fuck it then. I'll whip your ass in fantasy. That's why the Cowboys lost.

59:34Shannon Sharpe:But hey, Joe, Ocho, I told him to start Trevor Lawrence. He won't listen. Listen, man. Trevor Lawrence did today. Hey, but hold on. He's a Cowboy fan, so he have to go with his quarterback. Hold on. Can I say something? He tried to win.

59:48Chad Johnson:Can I say something? Can I say something? It's still early, not only in the NFL season, but in fantasy as well. I'm still trying to work some things out. Hell, I didn't even know Puka wasn't playing today, okay?

59:58Shannon Sharpe:Hey, and he started Nico Collins, and we told him Nico Collins was going to be out. Yep. Damn. Started his other wide receiver game, plenty of points. Running back, plenty of points. Don't worry about you. Harold Fanny Jr. had 25. He benched Harold Fanny and picked up likely. Harold Fanny hadn't done nothing.

1:00:17Chad Johnson:He hadn't done nothing in the first two damn weeks. What you want me to do? It's only week three. You just said it was week three. It's early in the season. Boy, listen, man. I got to switch up my line. We still trying to work some things out. We still trying to work some team chemistry out. So I'm trying to find out who worked together. You know what I mean? So it may take us a little while before we take off and start running. But it's okay. Y 'all can laugh now. Have you fun. but I promise you, boy, I'm going to be coming up the tailpipe now. I ain't going to be playing.

1:00:43Shannon Sharpe:No. Now you keep – yeah, pause. But you keep on starting that. No, you keep starting –

1:00:54Shannon Sharpe:Coming up the tailpipe. Wait a minute. Hey, let's throw the challenge. We got to challenge this, man. It's immutable.

1:00:59Chad Johnson:Hey, at some point, at some point, we just get too damn grown now for all this. I'm just saying. I'm just saying. I'm just saying something like that. We can't even have a conversation. Like, come on now. Hey, of the tailpipe, Joe? Come on, man. Come on, man.

1:01:17Shannon Sharpe:Chad, man, hey, I mean, Joe talking about team chemistry. Like these guys play together?

1:01:24Chad Johnson:Yeah, I got to figure it out. I got to figure out which lineups work good, you know? I ain't going to lie.

1:01:29Shannon Sharpe:Clearly not the lineups that you've been playing.

1:01:31Chad Johnson:Trevor Lawrence has been playing. He played well today. You know, hell, the Jags look good. So why you ain't playing? We going to see.

1:01:38Shannon Sharpe:Unki still early. Give me some time. If I was you, I would not start Dak Prescott next week. That would be if I was you. I'm not you, so.

1:01:54Hell no. Hey, you got me in tears.

1:01:59Shannon Sharpe:Dak Prescott said after the game, frustrated, embarrassed. You can't call yourself G-O-T-I and not get it done. They're at the one-yard line. We should have never put the defense in that position. He right. Because you know what? How you call yourself greatest offense there is? Right. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, hold on. Their offense is like that, though. No, it ain't. They like that. Did you not see them at the one-yard line? Did you see them at the three-yard line with a chance to win the game? Yeah, I saw that. And you said they like that? I'm saying they all like that.

1:02:31Chad Johnson:I've seen y 'all have four for one a couple times and didn't get it. It happens. Uh-oh.

1:02:35Shannon Sharpe:Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Uh-oh. We won the game. So you don't have to look at our miscues. We're talking about yours.

1:02:43Chad Johnson:That cost you the game. Okay, hey, hey, the same thing. What's that you say? What did he say, Ocho? The same thing? You taking the win. You won't take. What did he say? You know what I'm saying? You never have to tell me anything in the win. You wouldn't have lost. Yeah, all right.

1:02:54Shannon Sharpe:Okay, all right. I don't know when we going to lose again. We might not lose no more this year. Hey, Unk, I promise you. I promise you I'll lose next Sunday against the 49ers. I bet that. I bet they put up 40. Hold on. Who y 'all talking about? The Broncos or the Raiders? I'm talking about the Broncos. The Broncos play the Rams. I mean, play all the 49ers now. Where they play the 49ers at? It don't matter where they play. Man, Shanahan finna go crazy on y 'all, man. You see that defense. When that defense, when we had to buckle down, what do we do? Y 'all did buckle down in that second half. I ain't going to lie to you.

1:03:29I ain't going to hold you.

1:03:30Chad Johnson:Man, Ocho, don't let him fool you. That man over there pulling him farting at the end of the game because he ain't know what was going on. Hey, he was scared. You already know it.

1:03:38Shannon Sharpe:Hey. All I know, we gave up 10 points in the second half and scored 30. Now, you figure that. Now, how we do that? Hey, y 'all was good, though. And I was over here like Steve Urkel, did we do that?

1:03:56Shannon Sharpe:Joe, man, your team. Ah, man, Joe. Hey, you see, Brian Schottenheimer took blame for the third down throwaway, saying he overcoached Dak on what to do. Dak said the coverage that they were playing 99 out of 100 times, they're supposed to cover GP. That corner is supposed to be outside leverage, funneling him to the inside, to the safety. GP, GP, GP. He did a great job winning regardless. I said I wish I could have this. Hey, just sank on my back foot and throw the ball to the front pylon and trusted it. But it's one of those things you read the coverage and you say, well, they're not giving it to you, and it's unfortunately.

1:04:33Shannon Sharpe:I threw the ball away.

1:04:40Shannon Sharpe:That's one. It should have been a Michigan play, Ocho. You remember the Michigan play, Iowa, Michigan? Yeah. Back shoulder. Front pylon. Yeah. Bingo. Remember when Derrick Henry was a free agent and publicly stated interest in the Cowboys, which never reciprocated? Derrick Henry has 3 ,600 and 60 rushing yards and 36 touchdowns since joining the Ravens. both are most since 2024. He has 432 more yards and 15 more touchdowns than the number two-ranked back, Saquon Barkley. Hey, but think about this, huh? Think about the system that he's in right now with the Ravens. Going from Tennessee to the Ravens was the perfect fit for Derrick Henry for the type of back he is.

1:05:21Another running team. Yes. If he went to the Cowboys, I don't think he would have the same success.

1:05:28Shannon Sharpe:No, because they're going to throw the ball. They got too much money tied up in their quarterback, and they're going to want to throw the football. I thought Javante Williams was running the ball really well. I thought they should have ran him a little more than what they did. Yeah. But it's over. I'm not one that like to – you know, I don't like – my grandma used to always say, boy, stirring up old poop is still smell. Yeah. I don't like to keep stirring up old stuff and talking about the Cowboys loss. We knew this was going to happen. What you mean we knew it was going to happen? I foretold.

1:05:57Shannon Sharpe:I told you y 'all was going to lose when the schedule came out. I see y 'all losing in Brazil to the Ravens. I told you that. Damn, Joe. I told y 'all going to leave over the night to the Giants.

1:06:06Chad Johnson:Man, that was a good game, bro. We lost a good game today. I don't know what he got going on tonight. Hey, Joe, I don't know either, Joe. That LaPorte got him tripping. That LaPorte got him tripping tonight.

1:06:21Chad Johnson:Mom, are we there yet? Ten more minutes. Only ten minutes? Can you drive slower? What's up with them today? Lingo Kids. That app we downloaded last week? They love it.
