Key claims
Browns’ defense “strapped” the Steelers, forcing punts/field-goal outcomes and limiting big plays; Steelers’ offense failed to capitalize (missed opportunities in the red zone, poor fourth-down/decision-making, and a late-game inability to convert). Steelers QB play is criticized for late/poor throws and questionable fourth-down attempts.
Notable examples
Raheem Sanders early runs; Shador (QB) hitting Judy on curl routes; Cam Hayward dropping a runner; a fumbled/failed punt-play by Duggar; Delpit strip-sack on Rodgers; multiple “seatbelt time” incompletions vs MVS; Browns’ TD drive after a turnover; Steelers’ 0-for-4 on fourth down and 3-of-15 on third down.

2:21Welcome back to this episode of Debo and Joe. I'm your host, James Debo Harrison, and I'm here with my co-host, Joe Hayden. Please make sure you guys like and subscribe, man. Y 'all don't want to miss nothing. How you doing today, Joe? Debo, I'm doing amazing. And I'm safe. glad that you ended up calming down not coming to Virginia didn't nobody need you over here man you know what I'm saying if you came I would have had cookies milk I would have gave you some love because you needed it it was a tough day for you my brother I'm just here with my got my dog whoa got my little helmet I felt like it was a great day on this side on the brown side all that all that you always talking so disrespectful D-Bo we're professionals Joe Joe could you calm the language please thank you My bad.
3:11My bad. I'm hype. I would greatly appreciate that. I'm hype. I'm hype. You know, I'm. I'm hype. I asked. I begged him, please. I said, Lord, please, please don't do this to me. I said, please don't let Cleveland win. But, you know, God doesn't always give you. No. You know, what you want. He gives you what you need at that time. Yes. And, you know. That's what you need. Yeah. and the answer is no or I have something else for you or not yet and the blessing is delayed, it's an opportunity for growth. Yes. Okay. Whether that's physical growth, emotional, spiritual growth, whatever that is. Some type of growth.
3:51It's some type of growth. That's good. And usually along with that, though, it comes from suffering. you know and in the realization of that yeah when I was you know heading to your house I had a you know I had a choice to make you know I would either I would either allow that to you know happen because you got free will you know you had the free will to either choose it and let me go ahead ignore it crash out get to Joe's house no no and do something or by the time you would have got here you would have been calm hopefully D-Bow I already know that man No, no, no. Or accept it and allow the growth to happen.
4:32And so, me being a newly saved man, I chose growth. And I turned my car around. And I came home. I appreciate that, Debo. You want to try my absolute best not to crash out. Well, good luck. Because we're going to do a nice breakdown of the game. Let's talk about it in details. Figure out how it happened, how it went down. You know, the good, the bad, and the ugly. You know, I'm ready for all of it. All right. Is that a solo cup in the AM? What's in there, brother?
5:12I'm going to be transparent. So I came home, and I sat down, and I watched the game. And to help calm my nerves, I opened a glass of wine. Okay. I opened a bottle of wine and I drank it. Uh-huh. And that glass turned into a whole bottle. Yep. And I was feeling good. You know, I'm a cab man. So I was feeling good. And I went to sleep. A little red. Yes, yes. And I woke up. Uh-huh. And that thing was back. That wanting to drive to you was back. No. So I had to go. No. And I had to go and get some more wine. Okay. But. Because you know what you can't do. The wine wasn't doing it. No. Oh, so you got some real liquor in there.
5:55So I started drinking like real liquor. And I'm a happy drunk. Yeah, I know. I'm a guy that gets a little intoxicated and I'm happy. Okay. So I started and I finished this one. And I like a little ice. Oh, snap. D-Bone, you got to chill. I'm going to go to this one after this is gone. So that's why I am able to calm down. Is that the Louis? Right? Yeah. Soft flex. I see you. Okay. So, Joe. I hope the movie keeps you nice and calm as we go through this game. It's going to keep me nice and calm, Joe. We're going to get into this game, man. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it. Let's do it. And the Browns get the ball first.
6:43Yes. And they end up having another Sanders. Raheem. They're running. And he gets six yards on the first play because we get washed down a little on that right side. And they actually made it to the outside backer this time. It's cool. Next play, I believe it was a pass. Harrison gets in there on the blitz. He almost made the play. Yeah, Shador, just pocket presence. Just so aware. You know what I'm saying? Being able to get in, get out, making people fall, stepping to the side. Beautiful pass. you know you gotta have contain a little bit better contain alright keep going Debo you got it they get 19 on that he's incomplete on the next play cause Shador what what happened oh no no don't worry it's incompletion good defense yep okay second down Sanders There's a running back.
7:46See, he picks up, I don't know, maybe. Picks up three. Yes. Then third and seventh, Shador hits Judy on a dot on the curl route. Perfect timing. On a dot. Perfect show. Dot. Y 'all get a first down. You only pick up two on the first down. Second down, it's incomplete because your boy can't throw. He throw it into the dirt because we all up over him. Yeah, good defense. Don't be trying to be nice now, dude. Yeah. Now it's third and nine. Yep. Great tackle. You know what I'm saying? Make some hair. Boom, boom, boom. No, I'm here for good football. I want both teams to have fun. I'm that guy. We hold him to a 50-yard field goal.
8:33And he knocks the joint down. Bang. Good special teams play. Great field goal kick by them. All right. Steelers ball. What they going to do, D-Bo? You know what we going to do? We going to get a rock to Warren. He pick up four. And my boy D-Bush coming to come punch that jump. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's not forget. We can look ball security first play of the game. Are we punching for the rock? Yes, we are, Devin Bush. I love it. I love it. Just keep him aware. Yeah. Go ahead. Then we try to get Warren another run. What are you going for? Okay, okay. All right, listen. It's one and one. It go one yard on second, one yard on third down.
9:09We punt the ball. I understand this. Three and out. Quick three and out. That Browns haunted defense. Come out there and did what they were supposed to do. They stood up. Now, Browns get the ball back. What do we do, Debo? You're doing an awful lot of talking right now. You don't even normally talk this much, Joe. My bad. My bad. My bad. My bad. Oh, my God, man. Listen. So it's the second Browns possession. He hits Tillman for 42. Don't just. Listen. Was that good? Was the route with the ball amazing? No. 21 got beat. First thing he did was. He needs to look back. Because the route. He had to stay on him.
9:44He binked him. Got inside leverage. And then stacked him back up. And up to the seven. That was a great route. Clark, love Clark. But he got hit up. You got to stay on your outside leverage. You got to force it to the inside. You got to turn into that seven route. And the ball docked. You cannot lie. Perfect placement. Bink. Over the shoulder. Listen. If he scrambled for six yards on the next play. Uh-huh. Oh, my goodness. Listen. But my guy, Cam. Cam Hayward comes to play all the time. Came down on second down and dropped that boy for one. Yes, he did. Yes, he did. The boy 68 was having a rough night, Joe.
10:20I told you about 68 last week. My man Cam Robinson, tough time out there. He's having a bad, bad year. I don't know. We're going to have to figure something out. He's not doing too good. Love him. But no, we need some better. Him and 72. We need better. For sure. You're correct. Third and five. Him running back. What's it? Raheem. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Raheem Sanders. He picks up nine. Yes. Uh-uh. Good going. He picks up nine in the first half because 95 is getting pushed four yards deep again. Oh, yeah. That's for sure. That's for sure. Again. Okay? Yep. Next play. Who chased down who from the backside and stopped him for a short little gain or two?
11:04Sawyer. Uh-huh. Sawyer. Sawyer. Sawyer hoop. Sawyer hoop. He was doing his thing. Yes, yes. In the right place, right time. Damn, man. I got to go to this next play. Oh, yeah. Then what happened? But this is the part two. I'm not just here to bash. I'm here to be honest. Digger should have made that play. Duggar. Duggar. Duggar. Duggar should have made that play. That boy threw up a punt ball. It was in cover two. He played him because he thought it was single high. That was a seven. He threw the seven inside. If he just plays the ball, he can make a play on that for sure. Like, I think Shador got fortunate that that wasn't picked off.
11:42You know what I'm saying? That was just a terrible play by Duggar. He could have easily, like, you tricked him. You thought it was single high, but that's cover two. You're supposed to be over there. Fannin made a great, adjusted his body to catch the ball. But same time, that should have easily been a pass breakup or pick. Pass breakup at the worst, dude. A pass breakup at the worst. That should have been the worst thing that happened on that play, man. But we score. But if it was a fifth, you would be on the Louis. I am. Yeah, so it's good. So we got it. Touchdown. Browns. Dude, I hate this.
12:14Let's get back out there. Now, this is 10-0. Yeah, I said 10-0. Yeah, it's 10-0 off the rip. First down, Roger hit Smith. I think about four yards. Second down was incomplete. Yeah, yeah, not incomplete. It was a pass breakup. That's Tyson Campbell. No, it was incomplete. You're going to hear about this man a lot. Don't try number seven and number 21. Denzel Ward and Tyson Campbell are the best cornerback duo in the league. I can go ahead and stamp that. Them boys be out there. Strap him. Okay. Go ahead, Debo. You're right. It's third down now, right? Yeah. Yeah. And y 'all get that. Third down, we pick up a hot twanky six.
12:54But you know what? Call that. That was BS, dude. That was BS. You know it was BS. Say it was BS. It was. Okay. That one was. Yes. My man reached his arm out. He did kind of go in there to kind of set him up, and then he did. He did a great job. The receiver, I'm not calling. That was a great job of a receiver. He didn't do no pick. My man reached his arm out to kind of make it look crazy. That was not. That was not. Y 'all getting help and all that, man. They trying to, man. It put us to third and 16. But then we gave it right back. Washington ends up picking up 11. They gave it right back. Okay, Washington picked up 11 on that, okay?
13:31And I think that's when he actually hurt his arm on that play right there. Yeah, they say he broke his arm on that joint. I think, but he stayed in. Yes. He didn't come out to the next catch. Yes. But he stayed in there on that because I seen him moving, how he was moving that arm on the next place. Yes. But your boy, Jenkins, hey, listen. See, that's what I'm saying. Y 'all don't know how to win. You don't know when, oh, we stopped him. No, no, no, no. See, look, that's what I'm saying. I've never been here before. That's what, I was pissed off at him. But at the same time, it was some baby, it was baby stuff.
14:03He was like, yeah, yeah, all that big Washington trying to go back. You got to chill for sure. That was terrible. But it was a little bit of a, I don't care. He got what he deserved. Yeah, it was a get back call because y 'all shouldn't have got the dag on that one that we gave, the passing the first right before. I don't want to hear it, man. That's what it was. The next play Warren go for five on y 'all, okay? Okay. And then Rodgers hit Washington. and, you know, that put us to third one. Washington ended up coming out after that. He never came back. Then Conor hits us with the fake tush push around the edge.
14:36For 29 to the Cleveland 22. That was a good thing. I like that. Next play, we swing that pass. Boy, we lost six on that swing, though. Yes, you did. Damn. That put us to third and 13. Yes, you did. We tried to screen the game well. It's incomplete. league. We go for the field goal. And I don't know. We get it. The hold is kind of janky, but we get it. It's three. We probably should have. I mean, I don't know. It's three to ten. It don't matter. Browns get back out there. Dude, when did Judy start catching the ball? Look, I'm just as unfamiliar as you. Them dudes started hitting them. They were just running right on time.
15:23Curl routes, hitting them right in the windows, hitting them where he needed to be. and the good passes right in the hands. You're a professional receiver, Judy. Like, just catch it. You know what I'm saying? He was doing what he needed to do. He was catching the ball that he needed to catch. So, yeah. Next play, McQueen made a nice play. He came through that thing. Uh-huh. And then he got in this dude, Judy, again. 15. Yes. Did. Right on time. Shador throwing the ball right in between the zones. Great. These are good passes. The bad pass that he had that ended up being a touchdown, I'm going to let him know the good and the bad.
15:53These are good dimes that he's throwing. on time. Yeah. McQueen come through with another nice play, dropping from one. And then, hey, the pocket is closing on Chateau. No, for sure. Highsmith was hooping. That pocket is closing on Chateau. That man Highsmith said, hey, come here. Get over here. Seven. Mm-hmm. We get a little deep. And then y 'all were so scared. We got a false start. False start. So scared. So scared. Chateau scrambles it. We get ten. Yeah. We get four for seven. Hey, listen. and he almost got put out the game. You're lucky he didn't get that hit on him. He wanted to get on him.
16:30Yeah, I'm glad. He got down. We good. We good. We good. Mm-hmm. Fourth and seven, I don't know. Was it because of the weather that we didn't kick a field goal there? I don't care that you didn't kick a field goal. I'm just saying we went to 34. You went for it. Yeah, we did. That was dumb. Foolish. I don't like that one. I don't even know why. Yeah. In my opinion. We get the ball back and what Warren do on the first play? 15. 15. What are you doing the next one? He picked up FOMO. Mm-hmm. And then guess what you didn't? Then guess what happens? Seat belt time. Seat belt time. That wasn't no seat belt time.
17:05He ain't catch it. What? He said it was strapped. What you don't do is throw the slot fade. You start going for MBS. Aaron Rodgers is a smart quarterback. Slot fade to MBS? Delpit? No, that's strapped. 30. Yes. Then you want to go back. Then we got another incompletion on the next one. No, you didn't. You didn't. And you got strapped up by my man Tyson Gamble. Seatbelt time. Third and six. Strapped. We wasn't catching the ball. We was making bad plays. Their hands are in. People weren't doing it. DB's hands are in the cookie jar. They're batting those passes down. They're ripping hands out. They're punching balls out.
17:38Yes. That's what happened. So they got seatbelt time. On second and six, Bydel petting the slot by BS. We punt the ball. And then your boy got strapped. We punt the ball. Yep. We punt the ball. We punt the ball. Yes. Get into that. We just punt the rock. Okay? Okay. Okay? Let's get to this. Okay? Yeah, let's go. Hey, hey. Y 'all come out. Y 'all go back-to-back running plays. Y 'all think it's up. Good, good, good. You know, it ain't nothing. It puts it about 30. Yep. You know, he hit Bond for six days. Bond, again, another cross. Because we bit the cheese. Okay. He didn't do nothing. Yes, you did.
18:12We did it to ourselves. Okay, let's go. Okay? Yep. Jadora scrambled for a hot little four. Yep. And he hits your boy Judy, who was 12. Yes. You know, because we ain't looking, we ain't seeing. We trying to, you know. Mm-hmm. Ah! Hey. High Smith. A lot of pressure. What happened out there? Judy got that 12. This is a lot of pressure. My man gets hit while he's throwing in the back. Tip, and Sawyer picks it, takes it back to the 30. Take it back to the 31. That's just unfortunate. That's unfortunate. Hey. That's unfortunate. We get out there. Yeah. We get dropped. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I mean, it's better than a sack, I guess.
19:00Yeah, I don't know what kind of play. That whole play was this bad. He was just behind the line of scrimmage the whole time. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Then we hand it to Warren. He gets six. Yeah. Seven. Roger scrimm for three. Bro, God. You got to just die. He slid. He slid. He's 50, though, bro. He got to protect his. He ain't no 50. He younger than me. He 42. He's 50, D-Bo. He know. He know he going to get hit. He might got to protect himself. He dive, get concussed. Old man got to slide. We go for it on fourth down, bro. We do the tush push. They call a timeout. They change the play. And then you go and try it.
19:38That's what I'm. You throwing it to Scotty Mitchell on a fade ball versus Tyson Campbell. This is what I'm saying. What are we doing? You got Thielen and Firemuth down here working versus Delpit and the linebacker. They were in a nice little rub route play around there. That's why Thielen's in for the little fourth and ones against the linebacker. You know what I'm saying? Throw that pass. I saw it. He motioned over there, him and Firemuth running like a little pick play, and he had it right there, right in front of A-Rod for like a two-yard game, first down. He ends up choosing. You know what I'm saying?
20:11A-Rod, you choose to throw that fade ball over there versus that seat belt, that been strapping them up the whole game. And now you want to throw it over there on 4-4-1? You're tripping. You're bugging. I'm not mad at the play. I'm mad at the play. I'm mad at the decision maker there. I'm mad at A-Rod. You got to throw that to Thielen for the quick one. You damn so don't sound mad. I promise you that. No, no. I mean, look, people. Hey, y 'all get the ball back in the first play. Hey, I wanted to tell you this sooner, but I ain't going to tell you. I'll tell you it now. I don't want to stop that little pat.
20:43That little pat and waiting. In the NFL, that give them that hot hand, that hot step, that six inches they need to get to where they got to go. That pass was just late. Did that? Drop that one. That's supposed to be a pick six. That should have been a pick six. Seven days out of seven. That play right there, Shador, that was terrible ball. That was super late. You cannot even, don't even think about that. In the league, that's not, you throw it out of bounds. You can't do that. You cannot do that. You're going to hurt your team. You're going to harm your team 99 % of the time more than the healthy team.
21:17I like that he did. I just don't like that we didn't capitalize on it. I mean, that would have been the difference of the whole game. Because Chador, that one and the other one that he threw the fan in for a touchdown. If the others look, that could have been a pick. This one right here could have been a pick six. So not like the Steelers' defense was very opportunistic, but the Browns ended up, I mean, it was the fifth. But we ended up making the plays. They just got to pick those off. It could have been a completely different game. Yeah. We ended up forcing three and out. Yes, you did. Stillers get the ball.
21:47I think it was like a minute 51 left. I think first down. Gainwell was like a two, little two yard. I think Rodgers finally connected with, what is it, MSV or MBS. MBS for seven, followed by Gainwell. Running a business is hard enough, so why make it harder with a dozen different apps that don't talk to each other? 24:52For eight. And a first down. Again, game well for 10. Ran over your boy. Uh-huh. Good run, good run. Good run. We clock it. I love Gamewell. Uh-huh, we clock it. Rodgers then hit my boy. Fire move. That's what I'm saying. On this drive, too, you see that. Fire move. Gamewell, he's using the middle of the field, not going outside to the guys like Ward and them are strapping, go against the one-legged linebacker. First down. And 10 to Cleveland, what, 28? Uh-huh. Incomplete on first down. False start then. Second down to Thielen. Uh-huh. We clock it again. Fourth down. Field goal.
25:47Six to Thielen. Debo, I'm going to need a little more juice from you. I'm going to need a little more juice from you. It's halftime now. You guys just walked down there, got a field goal. Is the score 10 to 6? Score is 10 to 6. Okay. now it's the third quarter. We come out with The Rock. Yes, you do. Yes, you do. First down is to talk to Smith for Sim. Second down is Warren for Sim. Great drive starters. Next play we got a sack. Yes, Delpit, Strip Sack, A-Rod. Pop the ball out. That thing can go another seven. Second down. What is it, MVS? Yeah, he's getting lucky. He's catching and fucking fumbling.
26:29and picking it up. I don't want to hear nothing about that, man. He still got the ball. Uh-huh. Both of those. Y 'all pumbled the ball twice right there and ended up being able to, yeah, yeah, yeah. Punt. Third down, this ain't complete. Punt, punt, punt. We missed something. We got to punt the rock back over. Dude, the offense is just killing me. Offense wasn't doing nothing. The defense was strapping. And then the high school took over. First down. Dude, this is a, this is a practice squad running back. He got five. Next play, y 'all, Y 'all been holding people all day. My man Cam Robinson, brother, number 68.
27:03I love him. You got to do better. This is not good. It's been bad. I've been speaking on this for a couple of weeks. You shouldn't know your name. I shouldn't know your name. D-Bow, you know his name. We get a nice play on second and 14, and that was a BS roughing. Man, no, it wasn't. I love Cam. Cam, big body, talking about something. He putting his arms on like he want to surf on my man. I'm like, that's not, that's putting even more body weight. Surf? Yes. He did his arms like this and then looked up at the ref. I'm like. I ain't going to lie. You're hovering on him. You're planking on my man right now.
27:39You got it. You got it. If he had put both hands out like that, it would have been different. You got it. When they say it. You got to put your hands on the ground. And they don't call it. I ain't going to lie. Put your hands on the ground and stay off of him. He like this, laying on buddy like. I'm like, you're putting your whole chest on him. That's body weight. And Cam, big boy, bro. Yeah, like I said, I understand, but I just really don't want to understand. It's the fan in me that don't want to understand it. But the player in me know it. You know what I'm saying? That's the problem. You know what I'm saying?
28:12The fan in me wants this, but the player in me knows it shouldn't be that. Yes. Y 'all get it like one yard on first down, three on second, third down. You hit, what was that, Cannella? Yeah. What, a first down? and then the next play Highsmith y 'all get scared again that's my man that's your boy 68 false start and again on 14 Highsmith chasing that boy down from the back side sacking don't ain't fast enough to get away from Highsmith stop playing with me man stop playing with me I'm not mad at it though he ain't do nothing dumb don't turn the ball over You know what I'm saying? You got to punt the rock back over to us.
29:01Yes. Yeah, yeah. What do you guys do? This is where, yeah, you need to start drinking that, that dark. Now, because y 'all up, then we up 10-6. Y 'all get the ball back. What's popping, D-Bo? Warren hit it for a hot load, you know, hot load three. Hot load three. This was a great, this was a great drive. This was the best drive. hey then then uh it was mvv what the bv s mvv valdez scantris scantris valdez scantris yes for the first down then rogers said let me go ahead hit hit go back to smith back to back plays three and eight we get the third and five rogers to miller yep eight nice catch where was where was y 'all at?
29:53This is y 'all's best drive? Gainwell go ahead, get him four on the next one. And they say, hey man, go get you some of that out there. It's sweet. Warren said, let me get some 13. Uh-huh. Fourth quarter. Yeah. It was a no game. I think we lost a couple yards. I don't know. I don't know what to do. Third and 13. He wasn't trying to block nobody. That was like, you don't even block the man that you're supposed to. Where was he going? Where was MVS or VVS? Where was he going on that play when he threw out that screen? Where was he going? I don't know. Third down, we get a sack with Mr. Fieldgold.
30:39Browns get ball. Oh, bankroll. That hurt. We wasn't expecting that, Debo. We all skipping all that. Long drive. I said it. Not a dollar. I said it. All right. Make sure I didn't hear you. I did say it. All right. Goodness. Y 'all come out there and y 'all do what y 'all do, Foster. Oh, my gosh. Now, this is where I tell you the same. I don't just sit out here and just talk just to talk. If you do good, you do good. If you do bad, you do bad. We did not do good on this drive. We got Joe Batonio, my man, Hall of Fame. Respect to Joe Batonio. he did have a false start. But when we throw this damn pick, when Shador throws this pick, you cannot do that.
31:28In any stretch, throw it out of bounds across your body late and high and wobbly. Listen, listen. He ain't had no choice. Yes, he did. No, he didn't. He was on the hash on one side of the field and threw it all the way on the other side of the field. Once you're on that hash, you're damn near outside the tackle box. You could throw too much pressure, Joe. No, no, no, no. He was applying pressure. The boy threw it up to save his life. He cannot. That is a bad play. Quarterback play, that's a terrible play. Interceptor. He can throw that ball away. We got the ball. First play. Game will go for 15.
32:06Second and eight, man. He hit Smith for seven. Mm-hmm.
32:13Third one, we false start. Yeah, third one, false start. Great job. Great job. 60 makes it third and six. Then we get an infolation. Complete pass. Yeah, great. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's how you stand up. That's how the defense stands up. You know? Right. Sudden change. Mm-hmm. That's good defensive play. Lord, help me, please. But that's bad offensive play because, God, y 'all were there. Third and one. False start. Ah. Come on. To the— Yeah. Here we go, brownies. Yeah. Here we go, brownies. We get the ball back.
32:48and we run for 25 yards. It don't matter. For 72. All y 'all know how to do is hold. No, man. If we got two, we got two. Y 'all don't block your hold, bro. We have so many injuries on the line right now, but number 72 and number 68, those two guys are going to have to work on the offseason or we're going to have to get somebody out. I don't care. They got to do whatever they got to do. It's three and out. We had 25 yards. Y 'all punt the bar on what we do. What y 'all special teams do? We low-key loafed. We low-key loafed. But Scotty Miller had a great return. Oh, my goodness, dude. Scotty Miller had a great return.
33:25I ain't got nothing to come up to. Yeah, but go ahead. What happened? Warren runs for seven. Warren runs for seven. Tackle for loss. We lose two. Third and four. Y 'all are running it on third and four. We should be running. I mean, punch the ball, cool, whatever, whatever. Browns got it. Or get out there running for his life again on second down, third and one, and what we do, we showed you how we treat practice squad running back. Stuff that boy. We did. Nathan, y 'all punt the right back to us. Right back to us. Two minutes, 16 seconds left. Still has got the ball. 20-yard line. It's time. What's up?
34:14Three timeouts. Three timeouts, we ain't get to use none. First and 10, you throw a slot fade to MVS. Why? I don't know. He ain't adjusted to one ball all game. I'm looking at it also. Like, the only drives y 'all really did when Firemove is getting it, Gainwell's getting it, you're throwing it down the middle. Every time you throw the MVS, he's getting strapped. He's getting strapped. Second and 10, Miles on his. scared and spooked about Miles. He looking around too, making sure Miles was not going to get that sack. I told you he wasn't getting the sack. Yeah, you rather lose? You rather lose or you rather win than him get the sack?
34:57Man, I'd rather that boy have five sacks right now. That's what I'm saying. I'd rather that boy have five sacks right now, bro. Then fourth and ten, Debo. Fourth and ten. I'm not going for that, dude. This is why I'm not going for it, dude. I got three timeouts. My defense has been stopping them. You ain't been doing nothing all game. You're already right there. The field goal kicker just knocked a 50 down the middle. I'm not going for it. I'm going to punt the ball off. Y 'all special teams been selling all day anyway. All season y 'all been selling. I'm going to give you an opportunity to sell again.
35:34We go for it. We don't get it. They don't get no more than five yards on the next series. We just trying to knock the time out. We just trying to get another three. We just want two points. That's it. We got three timeouts now. Cool. But we starting from the 35. I would rather had started somewhere. We might have could have even got, like I said, y 'all special teams been selling all year, giving up returns with touchdowns, fumbling the ball. No, no, no, no. Let's get, let's get, let's get, let's get finish this game. And then we can get all the way down to the breakdown or whatever, how you really feel.
36:09So, we get our field goal. We kick it off to y 'all. Y 'all got the ball. A minute and 40 left. Okay? 35-yard line. Bruh. First down, we go to Miller. It's 15. His got it. Nice. Nice. It's 28 on the second down to Fryer move. Then Fryer move again. For 29. Yes. Then Fryer move again. Now you want to get to him now. We should have been getting to him then. Every good drive they... All right, no, no, keep going. It's first and goal at the 10, right? Yes, and that's when you hit Thielen for a five-yard out. Like a four-yard out, whatever. Like three, whatever it was. And the next three plays, we go to the dude who ain't adjusted to nothing all game.
37:01The second down... He's supposed to got to cross his face. You got to cross Denzel Ward's face, but that's the warden. He's not rocking with that. You're not crossing his face. You're strapping it up. You're MVS going versus Denzel Ward. Why are you throwing it over here? You almost crossed a kick, bro. Yes. Get across his face and body catch it. Yes. Third down. Just a bad throw. Bad throw. Back shoulder fade. I don't even know what kind of fade that was. He can't adjust. It don't matter what it was. It didn't matter. It was on Denzel Ward and MVS. Again, you tried the best defensive. That was a bad throw.
37:38The DB ain't had nothing to do with it. Man, he was right there. It's easy to say if he's not there, but then when he's right there, he's right there. Then fourth and goal. Y 'all didn't do nothing. We beat ourselves. Fourth and goal. D'd up again. He dropped that one. No. He dropped it. It was in his hands. You're out your mind. That's good defense. You see the way my man, he's putting his arms, He's breaking that man apart. He's breaking his arms apart. That's great defensive back play. Me watching Denzel Ward do that, class. Class. Personified. D'd up. And you don't go like Richard Sherman with crab sheet.
38:20He don't try me with a sorry receiver. But you know what Ward did? Ward was like, I'm trying to wonder, what was your game plan? Like, why are you going to go with me three times in a row for the game? You could go somewhere else. Fire move. Got you down there game well, going against the linebackers and safeties in the inside. That's what got all the big plays that we got to get down the field was that. Then you want to go to – Bruh, bruh, bruh. On the time. You're making like y 'all did something, bruh. We did. The stuff has got issue, bruh. Like, I really didn't think this was going to be a hard game for us to win, bruh.
38:57Like the Browns was giving up only like 163 yards passing over the last three games. So I really wasn't tripping on missing DK in Austin. I just got what? 168. So that was about what the average was. But they were giving up over five yards of rush the last three games. We actually got like five and a half of rush, but we only rested like 24 times, bro. I think we should have tried to at least stick to trying to run the ball more because we were never out of the game and behind and had to pass until we got to the end. Like, all that with a rookie linebacker playing on one leg and still making plays.
39:40I would have tried to go at him every play or do something that made him have to move and be able to go and move around. Like, dude, we aren't able to adjust in matters like that. Like, I don't think we did enough. Like, you got to take advantage of that. Along with a focus of, dude, not letting Garrett get the sack. If we run the ball, we automatically take away his ability to be able to get the sack, bruh. We 3 of 15 on third down. 0-4 on fourth down. The one where the defense gave them the ball at the 31 is one of them that zero came away with. And then we ain't score nothing in the red zone, bro.
40:30We ain't get no tighties in the red zone. Add that. We missed a field goal. Come on, man. Bro. All that being said is correct. Okay? The Steelers, you had opportunities. You created – the defense didn't do a bad job. The defense definitely didn't. They had opportunities where they could have did better. When we dropped the damn interception with Herbick hit him right in the hands on that seven row where Harrow caught the touchdown. You're doing a lot of weed with all that Cleveland stuff on, bro. Deebo, this is why I can talk like this. This is what I'm trying to say. I realize now I'm a Browns fan.
41:08For real, for real. Oh, my goodness. I'm a Browns fan. I love the Browns. I can't. But any other team, if they play anybody else, if they play anybody, if they play anybody, if the Steelers play anybody but the Browns, it's the Steelers. But if they play the Browns and they can still make the playoffs, I want the Browns to win. I know the city. Because now, the way you be talking, like Cleveland's just so shitty. Oh, they're so terrible. They is, bro. Our defense, bro. No, no, no. No, I will say this. Our defense did enough to win, okay? Yes. That is something. But sometimes you have to go win it.
41:47And when we miss a couple opportunities like we did, it could have changed the game. Like you were saying, the first one is the first quarter with the fanning. Dude, that should have been an incompletion of best. Like that could have been cut down into a field goal. And then, like, y 'all already missing Junkins. And what's the tight end? What's the tight end name here? The one number 44, Harold Fannin? No, no, no, no, no. The tight end that you don't have. You don't have. Joku ain't there. You got a Jimmy-rigged O-line. You got a rookie quarterback that torched us, dude, in the first quarter.
42:25And that's all he needed to do. That dude went 5-7 in the first quarter for 101 yards and a touchdown. Yes. Yes. That's all you need. That was just the first quarter. But, dude, that's all he needed. That's all he needed. Because the rest of the game, he ended up finished 186. With two interceptions. Yeah. Lay that up in the first quarter, dude. And second one was the miss pick six. Yes. That would have been six by Herbic, dude. Like, bro, over the last eight, nine years, dude, this is what happens when we get into situations like this, a must-win games. We don't close it out. And we are losing to bad teams.
43:07And we're losing to them late in the season, dude. And you can't do that and expect to get anything other than what we've been getting, dude, a just above 500 season with no playoff wins since 2016. And that means you're drafting 15, 16, and it's very hard, very difficult to find a diamond in the rough quarterback. And that's what we need for the future of our Steelers is for my Steelers. To hell with you. is we need a quarterback, bro. And to be honest with you, bro, I highly doubt if we find it because since our last playoff win in 2016, we can't even pick right on the first and second rounders, dude.
43:56We done made more misses than hits on our first and second rounders, bro. It's only two players on our squad that got extended in that time frame to a long-term deal when it came that time. And that's TJ and Friar move. And that's all on Coach T, man. Like, you're making that final. You're making the decision on your ones and twos. And you're telling me that of all that from 16 to the timeframe of everybody that comes up for renewal, we've only renewed two guys. That means you had to self-admit you made a mistake by not renewing them. dude you know what do you not like howard little will howard i think dude i don't care about will howard dude but i don't care like i don't need to like dislike dude i but what if he's not gonna put him in there above rogers stop it man not not not above rogers this one i'm saying rogers on this team right now i feel like he's he just didn't make he didn't play that well this game When he had that fourth down that he went for, he went to stupid options.
45:02Aaron Rodgers is a smart man. And you know, the same way when he had Gainwell playing against the Lions, he said, hey, go out there, run a fade. You know what I'm saying? Matchups. He knows what he's saying. Man to man. Gainwell. That linebacker. And obviously. This is what I'm trying to say, though. Why the fuck did you do that last game? Last game, he just played bad. Aaron Rodgers is going to be here one year, bro. Stop. I don't care. I'm talking about the future of our organization, period, bro. That's what I'm talking about. I don't care about this game anymore. I'm talking about the future of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
45:31All right. So then when you think about this, you know what? Go ahead. Go ahead. I'm going to say this. Okay. So I ain't going to get my sources, dude. Okay. I've been around the Steelers. I've been through the organization since, boy, 2002. So I know some people. And we had a chance in 2016 in the fourth round to get a diamond in the rough. But we drafted a quarterback. I mean, but we drafted a tackle at 122, 123, right? All right. That was with us maybe two, three years. We passed on a quarterback that was a diamond in the rough that we could have got, that they wanted to get, but didn't do it.
46:13Guess who that quarterback was? Oh, that Prescott, Dallas got him at 135. But that didn't happen for a variety of reasons that I won't get into. But it needs to be a change in this organization from the top down. And I know with almost 100 % certainty that that change will not happen until after the 2026 season. Okay? Okay. But, like, I can't fight against any insider information that I don't know of. but I'm saying for sure, I feel you. They need to do quarterback. Rodgers ain't going to be there. They're going to have to start hopefully seeing what Will Howard has like under learning under A-Rod and then drafting somebody hopefully that they can pick in the draft because like you said, they do need a quarterback.
47:10That's the thing in Pittsburgh. That's no question. We done lost to them. Now we sitting here, we got to fight for our life. And even with that happening, dude, even with that happening, we still have a chance to win the division. Playoffs, win the division. we have to beat Baltimore. That's the, again, bro, that's the crazy part. I hate, that's the crazy part. In this position, when you don't have to be. Don't have to be, dude. I honestly, I honestly feel like we're going to get bounced out by Baltimore at home. At home, bro. And right now, I hope Lamar comes back, bro. because I would rather you want him to be because Huntley can get a gear right now that Lamar Jackson can't get to or is afraid to get to because he's going to pull something and I also think that with Lamar in there we're going to have a better chance of winning simply because the Ravens I feel would be stupid enough not to give Derrick Henry the ball 35 running a business is hard enough.

51:05And we won't have DK because he's the person that killed them last time. And we see what we're getting now when we try and get a ball to the person in DK's position and it's not working. Add that along with we're not going to have Washington. I'm not counting us to get many. I'll tell you one thing. if you're saying that you like them to play Lamar Jackson because they're not going to make Derrick Henry run the ball 35 times, I respectfully agree with you. I would rather have Lamar Jackson in there just because make it be 12 more pass plays to where we have to start instead of keep. If you got Huntley, you know, like, all right, you're going to do as much as you can, but you got King Henry here.
51:45We're going to keep giving this man the ball. Dude, they fed that man the ball so much, and they still kept running it when he was out. That was crazy. They not go do that with Lamar in the game. Uh-uh. They not go do that. I can respect you saying that for sure. Please let Lamar play. Because, yeah. Dude, he got gears and move. Bruh, he got gears, dude. He got gears. Lamar ain't pulling his gears right now, dude. He too worried about that leg, the hammy. He ain't getting there. He ain't even trying to run as much as he used to. Dude is like, yo, if it ain't there and I see it, now they handing him the rock.
52:21Now, that option, it got teeth. This is what I'm saying, too. This is why I would be blown for real if I was a Steelers fan. The Browns, I'm happy because they just didn't go out there, just didn't lay an egg, act like they didn't care, knowing that they're mathematically eliminated. You see your people out there fighting. The Steelers, I'm like, you are still fighting for the division. And you could be able to go win, beat the Browns, and be able to go out and not have to worry about beating the Ravens. You know what I'm saying? Like, you can control your own destiny. You still control it because you have to beat the team that you play.
52:55But it's just, like, that part of, like, why do you always have to make it into something harder? We just go out there, do what we got to do, handle business, play a good game, win the game. And now, you know what I'm saying, we can chill, we can rest, we can try to get TJ right, DK, whatever. Dude, I would highly doubt on seeing TJ for this game. And that's just in my opinion of what, you know, I've just read about when you have to have surgery to have your lung reinflated. That's your lung, bro. No, for sure. It's not like I can go and make this stronger. No, you got to let that heal. You know how you out there, you running, you tired, and you get that blood taste in your mouth from you going so hard.
53:39He can't do that. That could be a start of another bleed, a deflation and all that. Like, he has to heal, heal. And like I said, same thing. Look at the, what was his name? The quarterback. Tyrod. Tyrod, when they punched his lung. It was like four weeks. It was a month. He was back as said as full, but he still didn't play. And you're talking about, like, you got to hit. Chest open. Like, that's a lot, dude. Cutting into your body, you got to have all, like, that's a lot. No, no, no, for sure. The healing itself, it's not much that can speed that up. It's not like, oh, I'm healed and I got to build strength.
54:18No, you got to heal, heal. Mm-hmm. You trying to get air. Right. Yeah, I'm with you. Boo. Miles Garrett said Pitt cared more about not giving the sack record than actually winning. Listen to this. To an extent, I feel like they were more worried about keeping me away from Aaron than getting the win. and I think that's what came back to bite them. So they'll have to fight it out with Baltimore next week, but I'm just proud of the guys for fighting and getting this win. That's the main thing, and I'm always going to keep it that.
54:57What do you think of that statement, Joe? Do you think they put extra emphasis on blocking Garrett to allow him, to not allow him, rather, to get the sack record? I think they always put the emphasis on making sure that they pay attention to Garrett. Like you said, we played him earlier in the year. He didn't have no sacks. You know what I'm saying? They always make sure that they watch. I understand that, but he was single too. No, I say on this game, I would think it was more of Aaron Rodgers than the, I think the play calling. They always do that, making sure you know where Miles Garrett's at.
55:31The pass rusher, you know what I'm saying? You always acknowledge him where he's at. I think the A-Rod, I saw him, my damn self. Felt like he was looking over his shoulder a little bit. You know what I'm saying? Sometimes getting ready to try to get rid of the ball a little quicker like he didn't want to get sacked by Myles Garrett from my eye test. I think from the play calling thing, they always make sure they know where Myles is at every time they play. He didn't have a sack last game. They're always chipping him. They had Gainwell chipping him on the last drive of the game. I expected him.
55:58He should have been out in routes. He's still trying to chip Myles. So I see what Myles is saying because I saw him literally kind of – I felt like he was looking over his shoulder. You're saying they gave him the same amount of attention this game as they did last game? I think the team did. I think Aaron Rodgers is the legit quarterback that once he has the ball in his hand, who the fuck is to tell him? I saw him being quick, like jittery. And I think that's because - He been quick all year, though, because he know he got to get it out. He know what he's dealing with. Man, you asked me a question.
56:29I'm going to tell you this. I think it was a little emphasis on that because I seen this dude getting hit by three people. I ain't never seen you get hit by, I ain't seen you get hit by three people, three people, the last game, bro. Like, like they actually let Roddick, like single him for a lot of the game, bro. So you don't think, I didn't see him single. Not, not once, I don't think. So you don't think they had any emphasis on it? Oh, I think we had emphasis on just stopping him because we didn't have, you know, Roddick in there. And on top of it, yes, we don't want to be. I wouldn't want to be.
57:10But I wouldn't change up my whole game plan for it. And I feel like, I don't know. Like, if you just run the ball and do what it is that we needed to do, which was run the ball. We wouldn't have to worry about it. We wouldn't have to worry about it. He wouldn't even be in positions and opportunities to get that done. He would have to be like, you know what? I got to start squeezing down because I'm leaving a wide open hole here. Yeah. Because he started lining up over the slot receiver. Yes. He was wide, bro. I'm like, my man, that's bad. Yeah. Like, it didn't. It didn't. It made zero to none.
57:53No sense, bro. We got, who was it? The Bears, bro. The Bears in the 49ers. That was awesome. Everybody's just out there. Touchdown. Touchdown. Touchdown. Touchdown. Touchdown. That was his offensive battle of who could score the most. And, you know, at the very end, at the very end, I don't even want to say that San Fran stood up. I just want to say that they eventually forced him to have to throw the ball. Because he was sitting there. It felt like it was 30 seconds, bro, just running back and forth. He shook a sack, and then he was just sitting there. The one lineman that was there made like he didn't want to run up there, and then he started to run up there.
58:44They were spooked. Dude, that was the worst defensive performance I seen. Hell, the Bears had 110 rushing. Caleb passed for, what, 330, two tubs. Hell, San Francisco, they had 200 rushing. McCaffrey had a buck 40 by his downsell. And then Purdy, he passed a 303 with an interception. But, hell, you know, he a gunslinger, man. And sometimes, you know, gunfighters, they get shot, man. He gets shot, but that ain't going to stop him. He came right back out there and sling that thing some more, bro. So, you know, it's a good job by the 49ers' offense of putting up more points. Mm-hmm. And I respect the 49ers too, man, because they out there with a lot of their best players.
59:34They've been having injuries all year, and they still been in there. Mm-hmm. Yes. Next man up means the next man up over there. Literally. Because they got, I mean, it's great play calling. They getting them in the right positions. It's like, look, as long as you're right there, Brock Purdy's doing a great job putting the ball in the spot. So they getting it around. Shout out to 49ers for sure. Eagles defense went out there and beat the Bills. it just basically came down to the defense. They stood up when they needed them the most. That sack fumble that they recovered, that turned into seven. Stopped them on the one.
1:00:08Yep, then they stopped them on the fourth down. And I think the other thing was they had a field goal. Not a field goal, they had an extra point. That was blocked. Which led them to trying to go for it on that two-point conversion. What do you feel like on that two, Debo? Man, listen, let's kick this extra point and go into overtime. I'm going for it then. Nah, bro. I might be going for it. We done missed on the fourth already. We got sack fumbled that turned into seven. Yes. The only reason why I'm looking at it, we got my best player. And especially I'm looking at it like that after the play call.
1:00:47We got it. I got it in my best player's hands. The dude's wide open. I just didn't make the pass. Yeah. We could score. Like, at the end of the day, walk out of this joint with a win. I'm just saying, me personally, even though that was, you know, if he makes that throw, he makes a good throw, yeah, game over. It's no – me personally right there, I'm like, yo, I done fought all the way down here. Like, let's go ahead and do this. Let's go ahead and go to overtime. Yeah. Let's finish this in overtime. I looked at it, them dudes ain't been really – they had the momentum going too. Like, they didn't score no points, and then they finally got six in the fourth quarter, and then they got another one.
1:01:20So, I'm like, man – and I know Josh Allen was ready to go for it. I'm looking at my best player. He like, we can get this two yards. I'm like, well, let's go get it then. We can walk out of the stadium. I see what you're saying too, for sure. But right there, especially after they made the play call and the play was right there. I'm like, Josh Allen, 55 million a year. My man. He's wide open. Two yards. For the game, he was so mad at himself too. That's when I'm like, Josh Allen, you know the play call was good. You wanted that. But you just pissed. I know you want that play back bad. So I like him to go for it.
1:01:52I know he's sick at himself because that's what he want to be in. I'm the baller. And I got him. Just a little step-off joint, walk-off TD. Yeah, for sure, man. They said ESPN said they researched, I guess this, in the 2025 Eagles are the first team since the 1987 Patriots to win multiple games in the season in which they didn't complete a second-half pass. That's crazy. didn't complete a pass in the second half and still won the game. Philly improved the 9-0 this season when Hurts throws for fewer than 200 yards, bro. Dang. Run that rock. Run that rock. That's what it looked like. You know what time it is?
1:02:40Play a play. Presented by Pride.
1:02:56Joe, you know how it works, baby. I made my lineup picks for Monday Night Football. Hmm? Let's go. You either play or you fade. I ain't going to lie. You faded me last time on that Shador thing, and you was right, bro. Mm-hmm. We had everything with that. I ain't going to lie to you, bro. I ain't going to lie to you, bro. I ain't going to lie to you. I was the only one. Yeah, we got it. He got lucky. It was a half yard, bro. It was a half yard, but stop playing with me, man. We got the Falcons and the Rams, bro. So look here, man. I got Puka. I got him for less, man. They talking about he going to get 108.5.
1:03:36They ain't giving up yards like that over there on the passing game. And they ain't got a what's-the-name-of-the-game. So I feel like they going to do some double teaming over there. They have to. Okay. B. John, he going to get 40. I feel like he going to get more than 45 receiving because they don't, you know, they don't allow you to run, but they give up passing yards. And that's why I also have him for less, for less on the rushing. 72-3, I mean 73-5. Nah, I think they like a buck and some change. And plus they kind of rotate him in and out a little bit and all that. but yeah I know you saw that I got old old sometime cousins doing it this time because they give up close to what on the average he go step in his bag a little bit and he go swing that thing around you know I got him for more man.
1:04:43More than 225.5. Joe. Yo. What you gonna do, bro? What you gonna do? Man. Oh, man. I'm gonna go ahead because I need Puka to get under 108 yards because I got a little, yeah, fan. I'm gonna go ahead and rock with this, Debo. Okay. I'm gonna play this one. I'm gonna play this one. Hey, you gonna play it with your boy, man.
