In short

Debo and Joe react to the Falcons’ upset of the Rams in a wild game, then discuss Tomlin’s future with the Steelers and a Patrick Queen retweet about “insanity.”

Guests

None. Hosts are James “Debo” Harrison and Joe Hayden.

Key claims

  • The Rams “shot themselves in the foot” with penalties, missed opportunities, and three Stafford interceptions (including a pick-six).
  • Atlanta’s defense repeatedly stopped LA on third downs and forced punts; LA’s comeback was aided by big plays but ultimately fell short.
  • Mike Tomlin is unlikely to be fired; any change would be his decision after his contract timeline (one year left after 2026).
  • Patrick Queen’s retweet suggests frustration with repeated schemes/approaches not producing different results.

Notable examples

  • Bijan Robinson’s 93-yard TD run; Deebo and Joe highlight his cutback and speed.
  • Falcons’ defensive stand on a Rams fourth-and-one; later, Rams’ blocked kick returned 76 yards by Verse to make it 24-17.
  • Puka Nacua’s late sideline toe-tap catch that was ruled inbounds after review.

2:08Welcome back to this episode of Debo and Joe. I'm your host, James Debo Harrison. I'm here with my co-host, Joe Hayden. Please make sure you like and subscribe. You don't want to miss nothing. How you doing today, Joe? I'm doing good today, my brother Debo. We had another good one. Oh, yes. I was surprised. I'm not going to lie. That's why we watched the games, though, Debo. You know what I'm saying? If you think that what you think is going to happen, might not happen. I thought the Rams were going to go out there and spank them boys, for sure, in my honest opinion. But, you know, that's any given Sunday.

2:41That's why I love it. I ain't going to lie. I ain't think they was going to really, like, spank them like that. I thought they would definitely win, which did not happen. But I thought they was going to spank them. Nah, I just didn't see the spanking coming. I saw them winning. I saw them winning. I didn't see the spanking coming. I guess that's how I can get, you know, you can get some. I see why they want to, like, see points and see teams come back. You know, we like defense. But when you ain't got a dog in the fight, you know what I'm saying? You like points. You can appreciate it. You can appreciate it a little more.

3:10You can appreciate the comeback because now I'm sitting here watching the game at, you know, halftime. that's looked like a blowout. It's 21 to nothing. That's what I'm thinking is going to happen. And then it doesn't happen. So let's go ahead and hop on into that thing, man. Yeah, so the Rams, they pop out there real quick off on them boys. And, well, what did I do that? Yeah, you wild out. Yeah, Rams pop up out there. And Atlanta, I think that, dude, I really thought that was a fumble. That kickoff? Yes. They rule forward progress, but like he wasn't really – like he was still kind of moving, and it came out so fast.

3:50Anyway. I think that was a turnover. Yeah. I'm with you. B. John, they go ahead and do what I thought they was going to do. First two plays, they give it to your boy B. John, but he don't pick up nothing like three yards. Like we said, L.A. got a good run defense. Yeah. That's what we was looking for. Third down, Kirk tried to hit one on the sideline. Good defense. They got good defense. Like Forbes. You know what I'm saying? And PBU in a great spot. Yeah, he almost had to pick. If he had turned around a little sooner, he might have picked that thing off, bro. No, he would have. But that was good D.

4:19That was good D for sure. Yeah, they punt the ball back over there to L.A. L.A. get a nice return on it, but they get a blocking in the back. That's flags, penalties, self-inflicted wounds, D-Bo. Yeah, they pull that thing back. L.A. come out there. You know, they do a quick, hot little run. I think that second play, that little play action, dude, nobody was open. They just had to, he just basically had to throw that thing away. And that third and seven, I think it was, what's the dude's name? What is it? Mumphrey or something? Mumphrey, yep. He had a slant and then caught him a little bit short of the first.

4:54They originally said it was a first. Upon review, they didn't. They didn't get to him. He was thinking about going for it, I think. He was thinking, he was like, nah, I'll just go ahead and punt the ball. Yeah, it's a little early. Back off. And this is where like Atlanta, you know, they started coming alive a little bit. Yes. Hey, Robinson, first down, they missed that false start. I mean, on the first down, they missed that false start. He got to five yards, though. They said, you know what, since y 'all missed it on first down, let's go ahead and false start on the next play so y 'all can get it right back.

5:20You know what I'm saying? Mm-hmm. Dropped it right back. I think it was second and 10, dude. The pocket was just smashing down on that boy, and Cousins just stood in that thing and hit steals for a hot 13. Yep. I think the next play, Landon, the linebacker for L.A., man, he whooped that guard so fast, man. He beat that boy like a drum, forcing him to get an incompletion, led to a third and eight. And Cousins again. Mooney. Yeah, he hit Mooney for 13. They was dialing. Yeah, bro. Hey, real talk. They ended up getting to like a second and 10. B. John said, let me go ahead and pick up eight of this thing.

6:02That put it to a third and two. And Kurt, again, into the hole. Dime. Corner route. Into the hole, bro. That was nice. A little bit. They could have covered a little better, but. Yeah, that's a good ball. He found it right in the hole. That's in between the corner and the safety. Yeah, that put him the first and, I think it was first and goal at the nine. Mm-hmm. And then they proceed to just. Bijan. Bijan, Bijan, Bijan. He went on ahead and finished it off at the end. And Kurt lofted him an easy one for a four-yard touchdown. Good protection. He needed that time to make him get all the way across the defense zone.

6:37That was nice. Yeah, 7-0. L.A. get out there. And they try that play action pass. They hit a – it was Nuka. He tried to hit Puka, but my man – He tried to hit Puka. That was a great job. High to low. He just getting back, getting back. As soon as he saw it wasn't a run. Get out of there. Turn, dig to where your covers are supposed to be. Halt ass. Somebody is going to be sitting there. Even though he had dude right there in front of him coming out, he's like, no. You can come back down to that. You can come back down to that. Puka going school. Yeah, as soon as he turned that head, bro, he saw it.

7:13He's like, oh, I got to get to him. That was great play. Great play. Tips the ball. Dude don't catch it. I think second down, Parkinson just dropped it. He just dropped the ball. Yeah, he just dropped it. Yes, he dropped the money. Yeah, third and 10. Stafford goes here and he keeps it alive, scrambling. They got him running around for his life. He hit Smith for like 18. 18, dot. Dot. I think it was the running back. What's his name? Coomer? Coomer? Corum. Corum. That's it. Corum. He picks up two. Well, actually, he went two plays, just picked up nine yards. So that was second or third and one.

7:57and then it was Puka, I think, for 10, bro. Like, that was a nice pass, nice catch. Like, Puka got hands, bro. Puka was just, he's unbelievable. Yeah, he got hands. They ended up getting to like a second and seven, and it was an illegal use of hands that gave him a first and 10 at like 20. They go for it, though. They get to a fourth and one. Oh, my gosh. Oh, Lord. Your practice squad, man. Hey. Oh, Lord. Me and my kids were watching the game, and I promise you, my son said, BOOM! I was like, yes, son. Dude. Yes, son. That's a BOOM. BOOM, dude. BOOM! Beat him across his face so clean, and he was on his outside shoulder and still got all the way across his face.

8:46He was actually falling when he was making the tackle. All that weight, D-Bow? That's 300 stumbling into you, so now he's going to give you all that. I see that boy, man. Bloom. I'm surprised he held on to the Rock. I think the only reason he held on to the Rock is because he wrapped up. He wrapped him up so tight. He ain't had no choice. The ball was embedded into him. He ain't had no choice. Yeah. The ball was in his stomach. That was crazy. Oh, my goodness, dude. Turnover on downs. Y 'all thought it was sweet. Turnover on downs. That's a big play, though, for the Falcons. That's what, you know what I'm saying?

9:18That's what's going to win you games versus teams that's a little better. Yeah. I ain't going to lie, dude. They came out there and they put in work. Atlanta got back out there. They ain't score, but they put together 11 plays that burned up a hot six minutes off the clock. And then I think it was that second and seven run. Dijon, where he just cooked something so vicious on vert. Ink, ink, ink. That man is setting people up, D-Bo, the whole time. He's looking through the first defender. You already missed. You whiffing, bro. You going by like, oh, he just did it. Yeah. Yeah, he just did that.

9:56Yeah, he did that. He just did that. He just did that. They ended up getting a false start that stalled the drive out. You know, they didn't convert. They punt the ball back over to L.A. And I think it was like, what was it, like third and two or something like that? Boy, I'm going to tell you, a third and three. Third and three. Third and three. Third and three. Yeah, I want to throw that high. You want to throw a high across the middle. And that young man Bates is back there just lurking. Right. Right in the heart. It looked like he was throwing it to him. Like he was trying to get it over the receiver.

10:27He was trying to. Hey, man, it just fell into it. Hey, you ain't lying because that thing, my man Bass had the weight, chill, and that thing, boom, hit him right in the chest. It wasn't high. I see where he was going with it, but it was high. Bruh. He cribbed that joint, too. Yeah. Met the lineman. Met the lineman like, yeah, I know you're trying to. Hum. Yeah. Hey, that's sideways. Yeah. Yeah. You ain't about to stop him from getting in there right there. No. He got full head of steam. it's up they up what was it 14 nothing 14 eggnog 14 nothing I think LA gets the ball back they get like maybe 7 plays or something ended up and I think it was an illegal formation or something this is what happened that messed the illegal formation cause Puka hit him with the bomb got a touchdown it was it was what was it almost a 40 yard bro yeah it was like 35 yard dude touchdown illegal formation It was down to the three.

11:22He caught it. He was down to the three. He bombed him down to the three-yard line, but it was illegal formation. Right. Yeah, that's what it was. It was 36. So, illegal formation. They got to start that thing back over there. They gets nowhere. Nope. They end up punting the rock. Zero points. Hey, listen. They downed that thing right there at that one, though. Yes, they did. The punter was vicious with it. The punter was unbelievable. Yeah. He was nasty. He was on mad. The defense get out there. Atlanta get the ball. L.A. get out there. defense stands up. Yes. Do what they supposed to do. Quick stop.

11:54Three and out. Hey, why are you quarterback sneaking right there? I'm going to give it to B. John and see what he can do. A little something, right? Yeah. I think they thought it was so close they wanted a little wiggle room. A little wiggle room? Yeah, I understand that too. That's a little wiggle, but. Yeah. Yeah, so they punt the ball back over. LA got great field position. They midfield right now. Yeah. They got an opportunity to go in here and score. put this game back within reach, man. In the first play, Stafford goes deep to Smith. And that boy, Watts, covered more ground than water do on earth getting over there to that interception, dude.

12:36Did you see those ball skills, Debo? He didn't care about none of them. He was tracking that rock. He saw the hill. Everybody's irrelevant. I'm going to go get this ball. I see it released from his hands. Did he really try me? That's ball skills. Our dude, Duggar, he could have did the same thing. You know what I'm saying? Balls. Yes. We need like that. Track that rock. Go get it. It's your ball. If it's too far for you and you see, oh, man, now I got to go get the man. Right. Once I get to that point to where I'm like, all right, it's too far. Now start looking for the dude. When you see, oh, I can go high point this.

13:09That's what you go do. You know what I'm saying? Like, you go high point the rock. Bro, he snatched that thing. Only problem was he snatched that thing at like the seven. Yeah. Atlanta get the ball after seven. That's no problem. No problems. No problems. No problems. Hey, listen, man. They're supposed to be good run defense. This is what you called me. Man, the boy D-John said, okay, y 'all say what y 'all want to say. Y 'all say what y 'all want to say. And this right here is why, dude, he did the safety dirty. This man cut game is unmatched. D-Bo, he's seeing through these people, D-Bo. Bruh.

13:43He cut so hard, man. The safety didn't even. I don't even think he got both hands on him. I think he got one on him. He cut so hard. He slid. He kicked up more turf than he grabbed onto, man. Yes. And he punched his... Bro, 90 what? 93, Debo. 93 yards, bro. That boy was form running. Smooth. Digging. And he was out there like he thought he was running 100 meters. Yes. Stick. Straight up. Dude. Wow. Wow. With 21 egg. 21-8, man. They come out there. L.A. get the ball back right before the half. They try and do something. The staff are going ahead and get sacked in the half. They say, we ain't going to keep trying to do this because it's third down now, man.

14:27Let's just let this clock run out, man. We're 21 right now. 21-8. We're getting the ball in the second half anyway. This is my thing, though. I'm thinking that they – I'm believing because I'm thinking that the Rams are supposed to beat them the whole time. I'm like, all right, now I'm going to watch the game because I'm thinking they're going to eventually start to score. The offense is too good. Stafford's too good. Something's going to happen. If the Rams were up by 21 and nothing at the halftime, I'd be looking a little different. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I will say that. I will say that. I do agree with that.

14:59If it was flipped around, you'd be like, oh, they about to hit these boys by 40? Is it going to be like 40? Yeah, I might have had to go ahead and turn the TV off. It wasn't that. It wasn't that. It wasn't that. The L.A. get the ball to start the second half. They actually get a nice return. Yes. Starting at almost midfield. And first down, they get on Stafford's back. That's when they start getting on them. Dude, second for a loss of nine. Mm-hmm. They travel on down. They get to fourth and six. They own 49, bro. And they go for it. They like, you know what? We either go crash and burn. Mm-hmm.

15:36Or we're going to start coming back. That's it. Yep. That's it. One of the two. That's it. We ain't got no choice. And Stafford hit Smith. And Smith digs up out of there for 36 to the Atlanta 15, dude. Mm-hmm. I'm thinking they going to actually score a touchdown, but the defense stands up. Get sacked the game. They sack Stafford on the third down. They hold them to three. Mm-hmm. Three to 21. Atlanta gets back out there, and then they answer. First down, B. John takes off at 31 to the LA 37. Did you see that cut, though, bro? He did first dirty again. Did you see the cut, though, again? Why is he pushing so hard off that one little foot and his hand on the ground and everybody's still, nobody can stop.

16:28He's already planning on, I'm cutting back on all of you guys. And then the pursuit coming, and I'm stepping on you. You're not going to catch me. I'm like, bro, did he try to take this one yard, too? Yes. They got lucky they caught him, man. They got lucky they caught him. They ended up stalling out, having to settle for a field goal. It's back to a 21-point lead. And I'm like, yeah, maybe it's going to go the other way. They go put something else on top of it. And L.A. comes out there and says, you know what, man? We got to get this done fast, man. Six plays. They go six plays, 65 yards. Beautiful play calling.

17:05No question. Two runs by Williams for a total at 19. Stafford hit Parkinson for 10. And then the touchdown pass to Ferguson for 27, wide open. Oh, we're booting. We're booting this one. Behind everybody. We're going back ways. That's just a great thing. He had like four, five DBs in front. And what was they thinking? I don't know. They thought he was running the over. They thought it was just everybody's flowing. That man kicked it back. Ah, hit him with the okey-doke. That's just, that's great play calling. Yeah. What is it, 24-10 now? Yes, sir. No big to do. I'm thinking it's still going to be, you know, whatever.

17:38Especially when Atlanta got back out there. And I think they drove all the way down to what was the 20-yard line, something like that. Yeah. Dude, they go to attempt a field goal. And this is where Verse went on ahead and got his get back. Yes. They blocked the thing. Verse scoops it up and returns it. Way to the sideline. 76 yards. Yes. That's so distant. That got to be taunting. I'm like you somebody hit him with the flag ref hit him with the flag that's my hit him with the flag man I'm like oh this man is tripping waving at waving at y 'all you already know you gone it's nobody out there that's gonna be able to catch you when you that far out no the fastest person gonna be the ends that's it you scored yes that joke was hilarious dude yeah he gone he acting a fool he go 76 yards for the touchdown now the game is in play.

18:36It's 24-17. Yes, D-Bow. And it's just now getting to the end of the third quarter. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm. Atlanta get back out there. Cousins. They get a first down. Drops a nice one to B-John for 11. And then. They get a first down. And then L.A. said. And then they asked. Mm-mm, let me lock this up for you. Force them to go ahead out there and punt that ball. They started making them look real more normal. Hey, they started making them look like a regular team. Okay. Started making them look like a regular team. LA get out there. They ended up getting down to like a third and eight at the Atlanta 33.

19:15And it's a sack fumble for a touchdown. What? Oh. But. Oh. Defense is offside. That wouldn't have mattered. Like, it was a little bit, and that wouldn't have mattered, in my opinion, though. Like, ah. That sucked. Defense off sides, they do hella celebrating. They doing all that. Yeah. Wasting energy. They wasting energy, man. They waste left and right. They get the ball back. I think, what was it? Fourth and two, L.A. goes for it. And steals. Steals it. Steals it. brother, what I'm telling you is the disguise, the I'm on this man, no, I'm on this man, that you know what I'm saying? Playing with the defense.

20:04And you know it sticks. He didn't back up an inch. Don't back up. Don't worry about it. Somebody going to get over your back. We got slants here. We got stick routes. It's fourth and two. And he's sitting at three. So he's like this. I'm backing up a little bit more. I'm not moving a muscle. I'm reacting. Just what he did. He take it back to the house, though. Come on. They're trying to find out he stepped out of bounds. Man, wide foot. He was all the way out of bounds. No. Right there, I'm not pushing any further to the sideline. I'm taking my blocker that's right there and pushing him straight.

20:35You got to push him into Stafford. Yes, yes, yes. That's it. Yes. You going to keep me in bounds. You don't need to go out. Yeah, I know what you're saying, D-Bo. That's what you do. I'm going to, like, you stop pushing towards the sideline and go into him, bro, or I'm going to push you into him. Come on. Y 'all going to have to tackle me. You have to make him tackle you. they don't even they don't score they get the ball back atlanta comes out and it is three and out and was almost picked on the third down they gotta punt the ball la get the ball first down williams hit him in the head for 15 then stafford drops it to williams for 21 The next first down is a 41-yard touchdown pass to Puka.

23:31My goodness. Debo, that was... They were shooting themselves in the foot. yes all night all night bro like all night it's first and 20 now they still end up finagling it they still almost had it at the end though man you know what I'm saying on the quick screen the puka like leverage you just got to make him come back into the inside why is he being able to run up the sideline on the screen we got the nickel and the corner over there bad D Yeah. They ended up picking up 18 on that second down to Parkinson. I think third and two is when Williams breaks it for 22. Mm-hmm. They screw on the next play.

24:18Puka. Puka, puka. That's what I'm talking about. That's what it is, dude. Y 'all, what is y 'all doing over there? You got to just force it. There's so many people running. How's he going to go up the sideline? Make him cut back into the noise. It's real noisy in there. People are running them big. I am not. letting you get anywhere towards the sideline. I'm only thing over there. Ain't nobody allowed to come up the sideline to tackle you, so why am I letting you get there? No, the sideline is... Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. He scores. Now it's tied up. It's tied up. I'm thinking they about to lose this.

Read the full transcript

24:53Man, I'm thinking they about to lose. I'm like, yeah, this is what you get. You were supposed to blow them out. We up 21. Y 'all playing with your food, and now they done came back about to smack you upside the head. 21-zip, the game over. You supposed to turn the sticks in. You supposed to give up the sticks, D-Bo. You supposed to give up the sticks. They don't give up the sticks. No, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. We fighting. We get a chance. Atlanta get out there and say, okay, we got an answer, though. I like it. I'm lucky on that first down, though. Oh, he almost gave away the money off the rip.

25:25He lucky that ball dropped into no man's land. Thank you, Lord. Tips to over throws are picked. Yes. They end up going, I think it was about nine plays. It was only 32 yards, but they burnt up two and a half minutes. Yes. Forcing LA to use them timeouts. Mm-hmm. Hit a 51 yard. Bang. It was 56, bro. 56? Got to be okay. Straight down the middle. Into the net. So them boys, Debo, 21 seconds. They got 21 seconds, bro. And I'm like, it's over with. Everything is over with. Mm-hmm. They had to 35. in the first play, he misses a wide open Smith. Yeah. Not only have you been throwing picks, you miss a man wide open to go in and possibly win the game right there.

26:17I know. I know. And this Matthew Stafford, too. He's elite. He's made these throws into sleep. He can make it. Hold on now. Second down. Third down. What is it? Archwell? Yeah, yeah. He dropped that. He only had. It went to his hands. I like the way the DB. I'm the DB too. Like you're holding, you're hand fighting and then you kind of hold that other arm down. Referee could have called it, but he didn't. But he only had one hand. I understand that, but I feel like he could have. You got to snag that. You got to one hand snag that. At least try and like lay it there. You got so much sticky on. You got them gloves.

26:56Come on. That's a one-handed bomb from 50. So you got to be able to catch that. I mean, we've seen NFL dudes. We've seen it being done. We've seen it done. We've seen it with two fingers. You know what I'm saying? Hey, I ain't going to lie to you, bro. That third down. Oh, my. I thought Puka had it until they showed that other angle. If it wasn't for the. He. He. If it's. If he's not going out of bounds, he still catches the ball because the ball never hits the ground. Yes. Losing the control and landing out of bounds. Yes. I was trying to describe it to my people. But if he was inbounds, he still caught the ball.

27:30That ball did not touch the ground. But he had his two feet in, one hand, and then when he's gone, then he lost it for a second. He lost it, and the foot was out of bounds now. It never hit the ground, for sure. That catch was unbelievable. But you're on the sideline, toe-tapping, and you have to keep complete control. You can't lose it at all. So that's just the difference. Like, if he was inbounds. Like you said, if he had more room, it's suspicious. The catch. He ain't got more room. He ain't got no more room. I'm sorry. My man was grabbing on the ball. By the time he got the control, he was already out of bounds.

27:58It's so crazy. If we didn't have all those angles, because from the first two. I'm like, oh my God. I'm like, he got it. That was unbelievable. The very last one where they had that right here angle, bruh. And you saw it do the little. You saw a little air? You saw a little air? I said, oh, there's air in there. Wow. But that man, yes. And then obviously the last one, it was just a fade ball to the side. Kind of time over. Good position. Yeah, he was in good position. Bro. Bro, I ain't going to hold you up. That catch, man, that had me. I'm like, no matter what, just the skill. Like, Puka is nasty.

28:38His routes, his body control. That catch, one hand, inside hand. Just being able to drop the other toe. I'm like, dudes on the sideline not knowing where they are. This dude's one hand and backhand. Like, just the skill. Watching that was crazy. I'm going to help it. Hey, man, y 'all see the rubber kicking up? Y 'all know I did it. Y 'all see that? Y 'all see those pellets? If they didn't have that other camera, that would have been a catch. For sure. Bruh. Wild, wild, wild, wild game. Wild game. Great game, though. I ain't going to lie. I liked it. I liked it. Like I said, when you ain't got a dog in the fight, you can enjoy the game.

29:17Mm-hmm. Atlanta jumped out there on their neck early, you know? Mm-hmm. You add that with Stafford throwing the three picks, one being a pick six. B. John went for like damn near 200 on them. 100 on almost one play. You know, if they had more time, bro, they could have came back and won. Brother, if they had more time for sure, and they were shooting themselves in the foot so many times, missing so many paths, missing so many just easy things that they can normally do, and they still had a chance to win the game. You know what I'm saying? At least tie it. At least tie it. I know for sure, but like all those picks in the red zones, not being able to convert, like that hurt them big time.

29:58But if I'm the Rams, I'm going back and looking at the tape, knowing we could have beat them by a lot of points, even though we shot ourselves in the foot. You know what I'm saying? Like there's things that easily we could do to make ourselves a whole lot better. So I wouldn't be stressing if I was the Rams. Yeah. I'm like, damn, we this nice? Yes. Like we had this in us the whole time. Listen, I ain't going to lie, man. I heard like the little, you know how they go into the locker room, right? And, you know, the coach is talking and da-da-da-da-da. And he said something that just, it would have rubbed me wrong.

30:31And he was like, we beat a team that was tougher than us. I'm like, nah, hell nah. Hold, hold, hold. See? Hold up. Nah, nah, nah. They coaches might be tougher than you, nigga. Nah, nah, nah, man. Or more physical than us or something like that. Something like that, dude. And I'm like, nah, nah, you ain't supposed to. That ain't no motivator. You saying? No. Nah. That's that back. That's that side. That side. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, you supposed to pump us up. Like, yo, we went out there and we dominated them. Yeah. We were more physical than them. No. Not that they were. They're the more physical team.

31:09We still did it. No. Yeah. No. No. That's that backwards comment. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. He was like, I ain't think you had it in you, but you went and showed me something today. Hey, hey. For real. Bruh. Yo, you think Stafford might have lost his chances for the MVP? Yeah, man. I ain't going to lie to you. He didn't. He dang sure didn't hurt. He dang sure didn't help his chances. Listen, man. Hey, Drake May, he went. I know it's his chance, but still, he only had two incompletions. Oh, no. I mean, yes. If we compare it to that, yes. Meanwhile, this man had three interceptions. Yeah. I think, yes, yes, yes, yes.

31:54And next week, I think they play the Cardinals. Like, I don't even know if they go play. I wouldn't put them, I don't know. Man, Drake might go out there. No, I'm talking about L.A. Oh, L.A., okay. L.A. play the Cardinals. And I don't think they can switch their playoff position anymore. Yeah, I don't know. That's what I'm saying. If they can't switch their playoff position, why am I going to put you out there? I mean, it's the same thing with New England. Why am I going to put my quarterback out here if it can't do nothing for us one way or the other? No, I feel it. If one team get a bye, so if it can't get me to bye and they can't put me in or out, why am I going to risk the most important person on my team?

32:43I wouldn't. And if that's the case, then you are as good as your last game. And I think Drake May put up a great argument for him to win the MVP. And I think if that was Matthew Stafford's last showing, you know what I'm saying? The last thing you can see is done. You're only good as your last game. You're only good. And if Drake May is good as his last game, that's amazing. That's an MVP right there. When do they vote for the MVP, though? Because now, I think they vote later now. So if you're going to the playoffs now, and I don't think they vote right before the Super Bowl or right after. I don't know how it goes, but if that's the case, he can still maybe do something in the playoffs if Drake go out there and just mess up.

33:21Ain't it supposed to be the regular season MVP though, Debo? I understand that, but when you vote later in the playoffs, you know somebody goes, uh, okay. I don't know. I don't know when do they do it. You know? Yeah, you know. I don't know when they do it. I got to check. I think the voting is supposed to be before they start, but they don't announce it I think until, what is that, honors? Yes, yes, yes. Do they show us the vote before then? Do they already? I don't know. I don't know. I got to check and see, but I ain't going to lie. Drake may put his best foot forward. Oh, there's no question about that, dude.

34:02There's no question about that. Yeah, so, man, I'm going to go ahead and say Stafford, He might have fumbled a bag on this one. Yeah. He might have fumbled a bag on this one. Yeah. Yeah. You can't throw all of them picks, and especially when your competition is winning and not. He's just walking through stuff, looking great. And that was the worst I've seen Matthew Stafford play. So he hasn't been doing like that. Oh, yeah. Yo, man. What's up, bud? I always... Sheffner. What? Sheff? Yes. I can't get that. You know who I'm talking about, right? Adam S. Adam S. Yeah. Mr. Sheffield. Adam S. Says, it's in the realm of possibility that Mike Tomlin leaves the Steelers with a loss on Sunday and goes on and does TV next season or coaches somewhere else in 2026.

34:53What do you think is the possibilities of that happening? It is a realm of possibility. That's what a man says. What is a realm of possibility? In the realm of possibilities, which means every option is available. Yes.

35:14I think he's just trying to get somebody to look at what he's saying. Anything's in the realm of possibility. It's in the realm of possibilities that, you know, I could go and get me a pizza. Yes. It's in the realm of possibilities. Around possibility. That's what I'm just like. Yeah. He just wanted to start talking about it around possibilities. He just wants somebody, you know, he just wants somebody to look at what he's saying. And we say Mike Tomlin's job in jeopardy. And he say is still with loss. There's a possibility of Mike Tomlin leaving. So we're not saying Mike T's getting fired. They're not talking about him firing.

35:49Mike T. He's talking about Mike T's making his own decision. That's what I'm saying. So we said. So that's what I'm saying. That's why I said yesterday, I would be saying it's almost with 100 % certainty that Mike Tomlin, no matter what happens, will be the coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2026 season. Okay? I said it earlier. I said it yesterday. I say it now. But, as he said, the realm of possibilities is if he says, I'm done. That's the only way it happens. Because I'm going to not, as he would not, as you would not, leave all that money on the table. I will make you fire me so I can take it with me.

36:44if I leave I have to let it go too oh yeah so you you're not gonna leave it's guaranteed so you know what I'm saying I'm gonna post up and like you said he has one year left on this contract so at the end of this season nothing Coach T can leave like you said Steelers are not gonna fire him they're gonna chill but if they don't do an extension that means after the 2026 season this is his last year on the contract so then it's like what you gonna do something has to happen so after this season I'm with you. I don't, like you said, Coach T isn't going to get fired. Realm of possibility, he can do whatever he wants.

37:17Coach T could say, oh, I'm going to stay. I want to leave. I want to go somewhere else. I want to go do other things. So like you said, realm of possibility. Coach T, grown man, been there 18 years. He has the respect that when you say they're not going to fire him, so he can choose his decision to leave, choose his decision to stay. But then what about, then he's looking at his contract. He has one year left. If he don't get a deal done during this offseason, That means that last 2026 is the last year. You know what I'm saying? And then you'll see what happens after that. So it would be more traction is building up because normally one year left, you get that extension, nothing to talk about.

37:50But if you're going in the offseason, nothing happens. You're going into that year on your last year of your contract. Now it's really, really real because at the end of that season, as soon as the season ends, you're not going to be talking about it during the year because you're a coach of a 10-year professional. But as soon as that last game happens, now you are a free agent. You can do what you want to do, so that's going to be a real, real-life thing. So that'll be a lot of stuff to be talked about next season. But I think this offseason, realm of possibility, you can throw that out there.

38:17Coach T's going to do whatever he wants. He can stay if he wants. He can go if he wants. Whatever it is. Contract. Like I said, realm of possibility, he could go to the ruins and say, hey, look here. I'm thinking, like, maybe we should part ways or this and that. but, you know, I'm going to need to be able to, you know, keep this money or have, you know, an open conversation with teams that, like, whatever it is that he does or goes or decides to be done or they end up, you know, not re-signing him because they're not going to fire him. He'll have a job in five minutes. Yeah, no. Another team.

38:52Yes. Yes. Yes. Another team. One blank period. Yes. So we're saying with the situation at hand with the Steelers is they don't, they haven't fired anybody. Like their coach has been there three coaches for the last 50 years. Coach Tomlin is now still in his contract. So they'll let him play out his deal. And then at the end of your deal, then they'll go do something else. So it's not a firing. They are contractually obligated. They have Coach T and they know that they're going to be there for, through the 2026 season. What he decides to do after this season is on Coach T. Coach T can do what he wants to do.

39:24Like he's like, no, I'm not rocking with this. I want to go somewhere else. I want to go look at things. But with the Steelers, in my eyes, they're like, okay, no, we got you this year. After next season, we'll see what happens. Like, if we don't do an extension after this year, like, it's kind of in our hands. But Coach Cheese-wise, he can do what he wants to do. So, like, that's kind of where I'm at. Oh, yeah, 100. 100. Like I said, almost 100 % certainty. And the only way that happens is if he decides that it's going to happen. That's it. Mm-hmm. So Patrick McQueen, he reposted something. He retweeted something.

40:00And the retweet, it said, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.

40:12So what do you think you're trying to say? Do you think you're trying to send a little hidden message, one of those subliminals? Like, he ain't say it. But somebody else said he just retweeted it. Just retweeted it. What do you think he's saying right here, Debo? I think he's saying exactly what he's saying. He's saying in some way, shape, or form, whether it is offensively, defensively, organizationally, they're doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Now, I don't know exactly what that thing is that he's talking about. But it's something. It's something. Now, it's a whole lot of things he could have been talking about.

41:02Like, I don't know. Where do you go with it? I don't know, bro. Maybe he could be talking about the offense, but I don't see somebody talking about the offense. I don't see an offensive guy talking about the defense. I don't see a defense guy talking about the offense. Talking about the offense, that's just me because I'm going to be more in tune with what I'm doing and understanding that than I would with what they're doing in their game plan because I'm not in their room setting it up every week getting ready and going through it. But I am in mine. Yeah. So where do you go with this? What do you think?

41:39What's your interpretation? My interpretation is kind of what you said. I know he's talking about something. I'm trying to figure out if he's talking about defense, if he's talking about offense, if he's talking about just the way that things are being coached, the something that there, that he feels as a leader, as a defensive player that they're doing wrong. Well, they go back early in the year. He was talking about defensive scheme. So he said something about that. After one of the games, I think it was, was it Buffalo? Oh, yeah, I could see Buffalo. I mean, they ran the same play 35 times.

42:27That could have somebody hot. So, I mean, like you said, Debo, I don't want to say specifically because I don't know what it is, and it's a retweet. But if he's writing it, I'm thinking like you said, he's tweeting how he's feeling. So it's something going on in that organization or that he's saying that he's like, we keep on doing the same thing and expecting something different. And I don't think it's working. I would like to know what he's talking about. You know what I'm saying? Oh, yeah. Because there's a lot of... Listen, man, he's frustrated and he can't say it himself. No, no, no. You know what I'm saying?

43:02And he's like, yo, something need to be done and I'm not in a position to get it done. Like, I'm just a player, man. I'm out here playing. But that's the one part... I can see something got to change, dude. With the players, though, that's the thing. It always gets a little bit messy, though, Debo. Like when, if you're the player, you know you're going to get people to start talking about it. We want to talk about the specifics. If you're going to just tweet out or retweet random what somebody said, I understand you want to get that out there. But for me, I want to know what, like, I know. I know.

43:32It's not for me to know everything, but I want to be able to break down what you're talking about. Because just throwing shit out there and be like, okay, I think he's talking about this. And he's like, no, that's not what I was talking. So I don't want to put words into his mouth, but when he does tweets like this, you make it easy for us to just throw stuff out there. Guess. And that's what it is. It's for us to guess and come to an assumption or actually get to what it is without them having to say it. We've been in the locker room, Joe. You know you can't say nothing about what's going on, what is wrong, why things is the way they are.

44:12And most people don't say anything about it even after they're done because a lot of people want to get back into that area. So if you do that, then you don't get back into that area of coaching. And the snitching and look like you snitching. Right. It look like, right, right. Like, Joe, it's stuff that I could say, even though I still say stuff, but I don't really get out there. You know what I'm saying? No, for sure. So it's just like, dude, you're never going to get all the deal. You know what, man? I'm going to give you something. I'm going to give you something. I probably shouldn't give you this, but I'm going to give you something.

44:48Okay. I'm ready. So I'm going to give you an example. 2015. I know it's 2015 because I had just came back out of retirement in 14, and I ended up signing another deal. So our first game, we're playing the New England Patriots, bro. Okay? We're playing them either a Monday night or a Sunday night. I know it was a night game, right? Mm-hmm. So we're playing them, and it's like 9, 10 o 'clock. And I'm going to ask you if you ever had this happen. It's 9, 10 o 'clock. we get a meeting called defense come down we go down there and we meet and the defense is being changed not the whole defense certain situations and all that so I'm thinking maybe about 20 25 % of defense being changed we've never practiced this we've never done this it's the idea that somebody came up with that it's going to work.

46:01Yeah. Right. We get down there. I see what's cracking down, and I turn, and I look to Butts. Butts is the D coordinator. Yeah. Keith Butler says to me, D-Bo, come on, man. Don't say nothing. I'm like, Butts, what is we doing? I've never. Oh, man, come on. Don't even say nothing, man. man, we got young guys, you know, you got to keep the confidence up. I'm like, all right, I ain't going to say nothing. And I will not forget this ever, bro. We proceed in the second quarter, bro, where it's, I know. John Daly here. You know what day it is? Sure, it was 0-0 because it was 0-0 in the first quarter. It's the second quarter. And then one of the adjustments that we made, we didn't get adjusted. And Gronk gets the ball for 20 and then another 15 or 20 for a touchdown. Wide open. Nobody covers. Have you ever had an adjustment come through seven, eight hours before game time that changes a major part of your defense before you go play? I would say not, Debo. I would say not.

49:23Never in history. And I was in year 13. Because you got to put that stuff on film. You got to put it on film. You got to get yourself some reps. Walk through motions. Things change on the fly. So, you know, you got to get those reps in on that stuff. And like I tell people all the time, Butts is the greatest linebacker coach I ever had. And they all, he's a horrible D coordinator. He's da-da-da. Again Joe I don't know what butts was as a D coordinator Some people get the title Don't get the opportunity to do the job Like I said There's far more things That could be said as far worse than that As you know things We gonna get a yes yes yes So As I you know as I said brother he is talking about something that he can't speak on.

50:25He may never speak on. Matter of fact I want to go back and I ain't gonna go back yet but he's talking on something that he can't really speak on but he wants to be known but he can't say nothing out about it. It's gonna look like snitching, hating and all that other stuff. but yo, he frustrated. You put me in horrible positions. I can't do what I need to do. Other people can't do what they need to do if that may be the case. And we're not putting positions to win. You know, that's like you get something, you know, you play a first half. And you get out there and you come in the locker room in the second half.

51:08And you're like, yo, it needs to, you know in your head there needs to be an adjustment. And you get the hey. Y 'all better do better. Right! You got to do better. You got to make the play. You got to make the play. We can't make the play because it's not set to make the play. You need to make a defense that looks the same, which will cover that so that they don't know every time that we're in that look that they can go to that spot. Dude, Dick LeBow was the greatest ever at doing that. I don't think they realized, though, how much offensive coordinators and defensive coordinators are playing chess.

51:42Like they're setting stuff up. They're showing you things. They're showing you things. Defenses are showing you something. just so we can do something else. Offensive coordinators and defensive coordinators, it's a chess match. You're just not out there like this. Yeah, man. Yeah, this one we're going to go cover four. You know what I'm saying? They're really reasons and rhymes and reasons of why you call stuff, trying to get somebody to set something up so you can eventually get, you know what I'm saying, them looking this way and blitz from the other side. So like, I think there's a lot of nuances to that part too, that people just don't, you just don't call a play and go out there and do it.

52:13We got to be working for a reason. And this is what we're looking for in this situation. so I think you know what I'm saying Queen could be speaking to some of that stuff feeling like I don't know we're kind of doing the same maybe I just need a little more knowledge or you never know yeah like I said that's that's where that's where I go with it because being in the situation you being in the situation you like yo you know he's talking about something you just don't know exactly what the something is that he's talking about but it's along those lines it could be yes it could be a it could be a lot of somethings yeah yeah Yeah, and for me personally, unless I have a clear look at what I'm seeing on offense, I'm not talking about offense.

52:57But it's some things that we can clearly see on offense that needs to change. So it could be. Yeah, so it could be. So you know what I'm saying? We don't know. We don't know. But we're going to guess because he retweeted it. So we're going to talk about it. No question. No question. I guess some NFL agent says the big story of this offseason could be the Ravens trading Lamar Jackson. Ain't no way, man. The biggest story of this offseason is going to be Lamar. This is going to be crazy. According to The Athletic, the agent loved Minnesota as an under-the-radar destination. The Vikings would send J.J.

53:36McCarron. I don't want that. J.J. McCarthy. J.J. McCarthy, sorry. JJ McCarthy to Baltimore as part of a deal, giving both quarterbacks a fresh start. I don't, I don't know. I guess he could. He could. Cause they do actually have a good office line, but I don't, I don't trust. I don't trust him.

53:58Man. If they do that, they're bugging out. They tripping. They tripping. I'm trying to, I mean, end of the day, Lamar Jackson is special. And I feel like the thing you try to look for is a quarterback, a franchise quarterback. So, I mean, if the Ravens get rid of him, I think that's going to be nothing but a come up for the Vikings. For J.J. McCarthy, I'm going to try to figure out in what else. Like, you're going to have to get something else. You're going to get a lot of things. So, I mean, if Baltimore did that, I would be geeked. Yeah, that ain't no swap. I would be geeked because – No, I'm saying how much stuff you got to give a lot?

54:34Because I'm like, that's not even swap. You just put J.J. McCarthy for Lamar Jackson. the disrespect in the words when I'm reading. Listen, man, we need to find out what goofy agents said this. Man, they are wilding out. I would love it. Put your name on it. If he gets out of the division, that's going to help us. He can't put his name on it. He can't put his name on it. That's going to help us. He probably got other players that he representing, and then they might go ahead and fire him, you know? Talking about Lamar. So he can get rid of him or something. I don't know, man. For all we know, man, it could be Stefanski's agent.

55:01You know, I don't know. No, I think Lamar got his own agent, though. I think it's his mom. Yeah, that man got a self agent. All right. Well, and we know it ain't his mom because you said he got his mom. Mama would have been like, hey, it's on me. Hey, I said, mama said. I'm his mama. I say this. I put everything on my mama. If she said it, I'm going to put it on her. That way I could say it without it being me. Nah, yep. Yeah, that's what some of these dudes doing. You know? I don't know, man. Do you think they're going to trade him? No. Okay, same. I don't think they go trading. No. But the style of play that he does as a quarterback is not conducive to a long career.

55:50I think they need to be looking at the future of trying to do something in the next couple years. No, you always got to start having a backup plan, especially when your quarterbacks are mobile, run. You know what I'm saying? And you know how hard it is to get a quarterback that can do what Lamar does. So what you do is you kind of pigeonhole yourself into having a certain kind of quarterback because you can't have two separate offensive setups for what it is that they do. Like when Huntley was out there, bruh, he is a Lamar type. Yeah. And to find that and be able to operate in that offense, the offensive coordinator can't put together to, okay, this is Lamar's and this is the backup guy.

56:42You can't practice both of them. He got to be able to do what your main guy do. What's Malik? What's my man from Green Bay though? The backup quarterback. You seen him? Wilkins? Yeah. I like him. Like that's the style. I'm like, look. You're talking about to do off practice squad. Yeah, yeah. Go get Buddy. Yes. He been practice squadning. He been sitting there doing it. Like you got something that's something like what you got. But to have a quarterback that you could do the read option, all that other stuff. Dude, he ain't playing 15, 20 years read optioning. No, no. And what year is Lamar in?

57:19I think it's going to be eight. Right. And what we seeing now? Pull hamstring, this and that. We seeing the injuries now. Like he ain't a running back that's built for this. He ain't a linebacker. He ain't the guy that's – it's your quarterback. No, for sure. And he ain't built to have, you know, physical combat every play. Like, your running back is built for that. Is he playing this week? I don't know if he's playing this week. I want him to play. You want him to play. Listen, bro, I told you again, dude, the reason I want him to play is because I 100 % believe that if he plays, they will not run Derrick Henry 35 times.

58:03Yeah, we said the same thing. And he can't hit the gear that Huntley can hit right now and put teeth to the read options and everything else because the hammy that is not a hundred. Now it's back too. He don't want to get bombed on. Oh my gosh. And he got bombed on while he was sliding and knees to the back. Anything. Yes. yeah dude i'm trying to tell you bro i am what i would rather this is the only time i would rather see lamar jackson i do not want to see huntley because they are going to lean on the run dude how many how many carries did uh did henry have like 35 something they still they still gave it they still gave the other backup running back with another 10 15 that's all this just just run Just do it.

58:53Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Like, that's physical. And Henry ain't no small back, bro. Hey, I think, though, for real, I like us to be ready, though. Because you know we're going to have to run. Make them beat us with the pass. Oh, we need to be ready. Right. I'm going to force you to have to pass the ball. Joey Porter Jr., Asante Samuel, they're going to be a man. Locked up. Lock that weak stuff up out there. You know what I'm saying? Listen, we can't even leave one free, bro, because that's going to get Henry something else. Dude, they putting seven, eight linemen off his linemen out there.

59:33No, for sure. The damn fullback is a lineman. I'm telling you, we going to have them boys in there, man. Sawyer, Herb, everybody. 9-5, wake up. 9-7. Bro, 9-5, bro. 9-7 will do what he do. I just don't know what I'm going to get from him, bro. I do know. He's going to give us something, but then he might get back. Then he might get pushed back. Play after play, he's not giving us what we need. If they're doing that down in and down out, no, bro. I see too much trying to swim over, get over this, dip and dodge, because he ain't got the anchor. I ain't going to even lie, bro. I ain't seen him hold a double yet.

1:00:15and that's like that's what you got to do in the three your three interior they got to be able to anchor something drop your knee like I don't even know only person I see dropping the knee is Cam maybe they ain't showing everybody else how maybe they ain't we got to tell Cam to show them boys the technique to drop the knee yeah I'm not that right there is not yeah but them getting rid of Lamar right now that's that's not conducive to having a chance. Unless, yeah, you can't. You can't. Unless they, yeah. I don't see, JJ ain't it. No. No. Lamar. But he got to make sure he's got to protect himself, brother.

1:01:03Because, you know, he's not getting... You can't protect yourself when you're doing what you're doing. That's where his game was. His game has been there since he came in. I know. He ain't been, you know, sitting in the pocket, drop back, you know, 25, 30, 30, 40 times a game, whatever it is, and when they try it, it's forcing it. Do what it is that y 'all been doing, man. They're going to say, oh, Lamar can't pass. I don't give a... He can pass. If he can't go in there and sling it every play and do what helps y 'all win. And I think they was just reading their press triplets too much, bro, and trying to make them...

1:01:39Nah. At the end of the day, we're going to get here with this ball about 35 times. Lamargo carried about eight. He going to do what he got to do. Yes. Don't try to outsmart yourself, man. Trying to make people happier, making it look good. You going to mess around and lose and feel dumb. Yeah. Like the fourth quarter of the last game that the Ravens ended up not being. You take out the man. Listen. Rotation? Ain't no rotation. The rotation is a game on the line. We've been rotating. No, no, no, no, no. It's time to win. Put in big bro. Uh-uh. You see what they did? You see what they did this time when he needed a break?

1:02:20Come out. After you good, you got your rest, you fueled up, get back in. Man, what? Yes, I got personal water people for you, Derrick Henry. Electrolytes and everything. Whatever you need. Whatever you need. Whatever you need. I ain't tripping. Man. You don't go with your man Sauce Garden out here? Sauce. Go ahead. What's Sauce? What they talking about? What's Sauce talking about? Sauce done went off on his critics in a now post and deleted tweet. He said, I'll go ahead and say, hold on, I'll go ahead and say the real since nobody else will because it's me. Only get 32 targets. There are zero cornerbacks that only had 32 targets through 600 snaps.

1:02:58Only 22 targets through seven games. I don't get targeted as much as 99.8 of other cornerbacks in the league. All right. All that. You can go on and read it. Only 50 % of those get completed. two touchdowns allowed. I was a busted. One was a busted coverage. I was a busted coverage, both at the beginning of the year. Only 208 yards allowed all year. Who was he talking to? Just a fan? He's talking to people that is talking. Some receivers go for a hundred in one game. You know they be firing them up. They just be like, man, sauce ain't all that. Sauce ain't all that. So he just wants to act on his.

1:03:35Don't even worry about that, man. Listen, you never as bad. Coach LeBow would tell us you're never as bad as they say you are, but you're never as good as you think you are. It's a middle ground there. It's a middle ground there. And I would want to tell them this too, as being a corner, the eye in the sky don't lie, and the people that matter are watching all of your tape. They know if you're getting targeted, they know when you're getting targeted, they know what defense you're in. They actually are paying attention to your – they know what you're doing. They know what you're supposed to do.

1:04:06They know everything. So when they're watching a technique, and we're watching like all during the week, watching your stuff, the people that matter, matter. The people that don't matter to you, you got to just, they're irrelevant. You know what I'm saying? People going to say what they want to say. Cornerback is a tough position. Sometimes you don't want to get your name called. You're out there doing your job. You're not throwing it to you. Quarterback's batting the ball and he's getting sacked. Your team knows and the people that are watching like this, oh, he was going to throw it over there, but it's strapped so I can't.

1:04:33So all of that stuff, it matters. Look at you. You still got the bag. You just went to Indianapolis, you're making$35 million a year. You're the highest paid corner in the league. People notice it, so you don't have to trip out on the dummies or try to prove yourself to people that are talking crap about you because you got traded. You're making$30-something million a year. You're one of the highest paid corners in the league. People that matter know what's up. You know what I'm saying? So don't feel like you got to prove yourself to the peons. That's just wasting your time. You're wasting your breath.

1:05:02They weren't the ones that traded for you, gave you$35 a year to play the cornerback position. So all this trash and stuff, you know what you're doing. Just stay locked in and keep making the main thing the main thing. You can't try to impress the people that don't know what's going on. If they would have traded you and nobody wanted you, then you could be like, oh, but look what I'm doing. I think this younger generation, they're just a little too sensitive, man. No, no, no. For sure. Feelings get hurt, man. You want everybody to think you're that man. And people start talking trash about you.

1:05:30I just, no, no, but look what I can do. We're like this. Trust me, the people that matter, we know what you can do, bro. Like, you ain't going to look on you. Don't even worry about it. She's talking about Heinz Field where the ketchup bottles used to dump out when you get into the red zone. Yes. Now, what's the name of it? Accature? Yeah. I just say go to the Accature.
