1:39Welcome back to this episode of Deebo and Joe. I'm your host, James Deebo Harrison, and I'm here with my co-host, Joe Hayden. Please make sure you guys like and subscribe. You don't want to miss nothing. and we got to get to 100 ,000 by Super Bowl. How you doing today, Joe? I'm doing great today, Brother Debo. I would love to ask you, how was your Christmas, my brother? You know what, man? I can't lie, man. It was excellent as usual. You know, for me, any day that I get to wake up and breathe air is an excellent day. Yes. I love it. 1 ,000%. How was your Christmas, brother? brother same always beautiful man blessed highly favored was able to see family uh my bro my wife's brother came in town from san diego with his girl got to kick it with them so we did the morning at my family's house i'm a wife's family's house and then we went to my folks crib so i got to see everybody bro it was lovely good man that's good man hey look here man we had we had a couple battles out there, man.
2:46We did. I was watching great football with my dad. We go start off with the Broncos and the Chiefs, baby. Yes, sir. Chiefs went out there, man, and they fought with all they could, man, but they ended up falling short 20 to 13 to the Broncos, brother. Broncos. Without Patrick Mahomes. Without Patrick Mahomes. It still had a chance. It still had a chance. Broncos, get up out there, man, first down. Nix, he dumps one to Harvey for, I think it was nine. Next play, Harvey picks it up, picks up the first down with a six-yard run. I think then Nix was banding about eight. They ended up stuffing Harvey on the second down, but they still at like third and second.
3:31And then he's doing a little swing pass right there to Harvey. He picks up another first down with a six-yard game. He got to get outside. He got to fit outside the tight end, man. You have to. You got to. You got to force him back inside to your help. Then I think it was McLaughlin. He ran one for six. Second down, Knicks to Franklin for another six. First down, Harvey only picked up about three, but that was a solid tackle. He didn't let Duke fall forward. Yes. Second down, Knicks to, I believe, Humphrey for six. They get to, I think it was third and one, and they quarterback sneak it. Bruh, I got to know.
4:10what is Chris Jones doing swimming on the third and run bro he's choosing gaps man he's picking and choosing and if you do that on the third and run you know the quarterback is going to take that gap that you swim out of yeah like right there he gave up the first down somehow you know Denver you know they had the first down Kansas City 13 and then they finally decide to somehow stop the bleeding field goal 3-0 You know, Kansas City. Third and six, that's a bonus. Missed the pass. He was throwing a little bit of high passes, but yeah. Kind of known for that, but Kansas City get up out there, and it's your boy.
4:52He ain't getting nothing but one yard on that one. But second down, he picks up eight, and he moving them. Good old Pacheco. Good old Pacheco. Putting them up and down. It's a third one. They go to their short yardage guy, Hunt coming in. Kareem. He picks up five for the first down. I think they ended up picking up one yard after that on that next first down. And then second down, I want to get into him later. I'm just going to call him O, okay? Okay. I can't get the name right, okay? Chris O. Yeah, I'm just going to call him O, dude. Okay. He went on here, and he completed it to Worthy. But, dude, he goes and steps out of the box.
5:39How do you do that? you gotta have a he's ready to try to cut up field but you gotta have awareness you're on the sideline first things first feet in bounds first things first two feet you know what I'm saying he was trying to set up the corner trying dead leg and get up the field I'm like bro you only have one foot in one foot out you let the man mess up his first throw and he scrambles up out of there make a nice completion to you and you step out of bounds that don't even make me understand you gotta help out you gotta help out your young quarterback. Like I said, I don't know what happened there.
6:13The third down, announcer talking about he launched it into nowhere. No, he got hit. He was pressured on the first pass he got. He got actually hit on the second one. He only got two passes and both of them, he was under pressure or hit. They ended up putting the ball. Denver get back out there. I think that first down is when they did the play action. Knicks misses who was it? Was it Mills? Yeah, up to the sideline. He could have hit 19 sitting right there wide open at like five or six yards. Why didn't he go for that? Anyway, second down I think he was dropped for a two-yard loss. They do like a...
6:55I don't know why we run any though. Third down, he's pressured and he throws it to Fulton who he makes a nice play. lucky. They lucky. KC got lucky. Like, that bounce. But, like, linebacker hustling, he gets... Yeah, yes, brother. The ball was a little bit behind. That was a great play by the DB. End of the day, he hit it with his second hand. You know what I'm saying? He went with the, oh, oh. He definitely didn't think he was going to hit that ball, brother. No, no. No way. He was like, yo, I done missed it with this one. I got to try and get it with this one. because if I don't, he catches.
7:37He's catching. He's up the field. He's scoring. Right. The second-handed, don't be the one you try to get the tackle. He's just, no, I'm swinging the bat there. They intercept it. They get the ball at the 35 of Denver. First down, they hand it to Pachanko. He get a hot two. Second down, they do that RPO. It's a pass. They get a hot two. And then third down, it's like third and six, you know, manageable. Dude, he hits Kelsey for 11. scrambles up out of that thing and makes a nice pass on the round. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. That was nice. Tell them about it. Then first down, he scrambled for four. I think second down, Pachanko, he got like three.
8:17So now they had third and three. They stopped Kelsey for two. Solid tackle again. Solid tackle again. And then, what was it? He goes fourth down. You know. You know, he gets the fourth for inches. give it to Kareem. He busts a quick five. They get to the Denver six. First, what was it? First down he almost like sold the game. Like not even the game. He almost sold the play. Almost sold the play. The balance. He doesn't fall. Gets up and then actually has awareness. To throw the ball away. That could have been ugly. Practice squad. Get rid of that. Practice squad. Four years practice squad. I think second down, Chanko, he gets like one.
9:07And then third down, I think he hits Smith. And he just breaks a good solid tackle. I thought he didn't hold on to it. He didn't hold on to it. They scored him a five-yard touchdown. Yes. Like, I'm like, oh. But that's the way that you get your young quarterback. Give him a short field. You know what I'm saying? And they defense playing good. Then Pacheco, we got good people running the Rocks. So that was a nice drive and straight off the turnover. Yeah, Denver get the ball back. First play, Knicks hits Ingram for, I think, eight. They pick up three, I think, and on second down, they end up getting the first down on that second down.
9:52They pick up that three. First down, yo, Harvey drops the pass. Like, that was just a drop. Yeah. Second down. I think he ended up picking up maybe two or something like that. Yep. Six was hitting. Oh, yes. Six was hitting. He was form tackling right where he needed to, bro. Six was out there trying to take souls, man. He was trying to run through people, Debo. He wasn't looking at The Rock at all. He was looking at them. And straight, great tackle, too, wrapping up, driving his feet. Yeah. Let me check something. Yeah, go ahead, baby. But this is the one I was talking about, too, because it gets to that third and eight.
10:40And Bo Nix, high ball. High ball across the middle of the sudden. He's open. Like, he's throwing on the run a little bit, but a little. It hit him in both of his hands, but didn't catch it. Punt. They end up punting the rock. What was it? Kansas City? Or is it Denver? Yeah, they punted it to the Chiefs. Right, right, right. They got it first and 10. Pacheco gets the little 12-yard. Yeah, he busted for 13. He shook old dude in the backfield, though. He did. Yes, he did. Gave him a little shake. Yes, he did. You know what I'm saying? He got lightweight fired on, though, by Denver's six. He got lightweight fired on by Denver's six, though.
11:18Yeah, yeah, yeah, on the sideline. He got cracked. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Denver's defense stand up. They end up forcing them to go ahead and punt it again. I think Denver, they start at, what, like the 10-yard line because of a hope. This is when they start doing them long old drives. Long old drives, man. Like, first down, it was four. Second down, it was three. Third, it was seven. They got an incompletion on first. They get four on fourth. And then, oh boy, go ahead and scramble for 14 to pick it up. That's when he's using his legs. He started using his legs. Yes, hell, again, first down, four.
11:54Second down, two. They ended up getting a far start. Then he ended up scrambling for nine. Second down is four. third down is 15. You know, I think that preceding first down they got 13 and then what was it, first down he was almost picked on second though. Like it should have I don't know, it should have been like a holding call on that on that third down where Sutton dropped the ball in the back zone where he dropped that Oh man, you talking about They went to him first and goal, second and goal, third and goal. He drilled the ball. He threw it to him. But the third down, that was good defense.
12:38That was good defense. That was bang, bang. That was everybody fighting for. I felt like if he had survived the ground on that, if he had survived the ground, he'd have gave it. But it was just too much. It was them DBs. They was hitting in there. They was all reaching for it. They was trying to hit the ball. He was pissed because I know he had the ball. And they were still, nah. No, we're clawing. He like, I had it the whole time. So, yeah, that was just, I liked it. It was bang, bang. That was a good ball by Bo, putting him in the position. That's the only way it could be. But the DBs, they fought it out.
13:08Yeah, they ended up going, what was that, 16 plays, 78 yards, over eight minutes. Yes. And for three, six to seven, six, seven. Ain't that what they say? Six, seven. Six, seven. Six, seven. Yeah, that's what they say. Kansas City get the ball. They end the halftime, six, seven. Kansas City starts the second half. And then I believe Pachanko, he gets like a three-yard gain. They're just pushing the pile, helping him out. I think second, he fumbled and picks the ball up, dude. That quarterback is not in control, bro. Picks it up. Gets it over. That man had a rabbit's foot in his clits. Gets it over to Juju for a 12.
13:52I'm like, wow. I'm like, wow. Next play. He's creating. That was nice. Next play, they get a P.I. on Sir Tan. They get him another first down. And then he ends up getting sacked for nine. He should have threw that one away. He had it. Yes. He did the same thing he did earlier. Practice squad. You know what I'm saying? Debo. But look, let me tell you something. Practice squad, he knew what to do the first time in the red zone when he almost fell on his butt and still was able to get the ball out. I think he felt like there he was just so far out of the pocket he could do it. I think he felt like he might have been a little tight on that one.
14:27That's the only thing I can think of. You know what I'm saying? I can respect it. But I like you. Come on, brother. Get it out of bounds. Get it out of bounds. Yeah. Yeah, they end up in completion on second. I think they lost like four or five on the third. And they go for the field goal. It's good. It's 10 to six. They still up. Denver get out there like first down. I think it was like five. Like, nice run because he should have lost, like, two or three on that one. Second down, they got six. They had first down again. I think it was, like, six. He ended up being real patient with the run, waiting for the opening.
15:03He get a high six. They get to third and three. Why did he leave this tight end wide open, bro? Like, he's just sitting there wide open for 11. You know, it's first down, and then they get an OPI. yes they do yeah did you see it yeah I think it was 23 though on that next one like that was a nice catch dude but at the safety don't hesitate on that how he did that little hezzy where he did that little hezzy because he saw the dude sitting down like running underneath him at like 2-3 yards nah over there to that thing you could have broke that up But I made a play on that one. First down, they ended up losing, what was it, five?
15:53Like, that was just a nice play by 20, dude. He made a nice tack on that. Yeah, he did. Second, it was Harvey, I think, dude, for 13. He shook dude so bad. Oh, my God. You got to stay outside. You got to be calling and stay there. Do something. Something. then like shoot your shot third and two they pick it up i think first down they go for three second down it was two third down it was four they get to the fourth and one they get it i think it was uh nicks he goes for what was it a nine yard touchdown again i think That was like 14 plays, 72, almost 10 minutes on that one. Yes. It's 13 to 10.
16:44Like, they were just really staying ahead of the change. Like, when they stayed ahead of the change, they looked good, bro. You know, Kansas City gets out there, and Denver's defense stands up with a nice little three and out. Offensive penalty on the second. With a solid tackle on the third. They have to punt the rock. Denver get back out there. first down I think was about six they get to a third and four and then it's six to Bannon or Bandy sorry it was Bandy I mean first down a run for three second down a run for three third down Knicks is sacked though Chris Jones come through Chris Jones he's trying to bully the towel yes bully the towel they gotta punt the ball off to Casey and what's that return to do man Man, that man got loose up the sideline.
17:38And that's the way that you have to help out your young quarterback. He's not going to be driving at 80 yards. Let's give him a short field. Gave him good field position. First down. That boy did some homes like stuff, man, to get that nine yards. Yes, he did. He been watching. He been learning. He been watching. He been watching. He been watching. He been out there practicing, trying to do it. Yep, in the backyard. Second down, I think Hunt ended up picking up four for the first. Then somehow Denver, they do what they got to do. They stand up. They end up holding them to a field goal. But it's tied 13-13.
18:15Like, yo, y 'all in the fight? You are in the fight, dude. You are in the fight. And they let Denver come out there. I think they got six on first. Another three on third. They end up getting to a long third and 11. Kansas City got them third and 11. and why do he just missed i don't even know how i don't even know how he missed it like how you missed that i don't know they get to another third and long and it was uh with 17s now it was 17 17 for 17 dude why don't again like what's what's going on first down Dude weaves his way for six. They get five on second. That first down, they end up losing three.
19:09But I think it was second and eight. Like, he scrambled. Nick scrambled. They end up into, what was it, third and five and get three. And this is where I am absolutely, totally. This is where, you know, they're trying at fourth and two. What is going on, bro? Like, they're not even going for it. They're just trying to get them to jump. And the guy that you're supposed to be able to count on, the vet on the team, this man jumps. Come on, man. This first goal at the four now. They run, run. And then on third down, dude, loses Harvey somehow. I don't know how he even lost him because he was right there with him.
19:56He throws it. Like, he made it. I ain't gonna lie. Nick's made a great throw in anticipation. That's, yes, bro. That's what the quarterbacks do. He got, DB has his back turned to him. You don't know when the ball's coming. You don't, you know what I'm saying? And then he just stops. He give him a little, boom, we run into the sideline, DB thing. But at that, if I'm the DB, you got to push him out of bounds. Once he's outside of the pocket and the quarterback has the ball in his hands, you can push him once you're in the back. So once you push him in the back. Right there, all he had to do was push him.
20:23He was this far from having his foot out of bounds anyway. A thousand percent. When you back there and you start the scrambling, he get outside the pocket. DB, push him out of bounds. Then you turn around and look because this man can't come in and bounds the score. No, he's done. That's a legal toucher. That's a legal toucher. So that was the only thing of DB. I would say you were trying to plaster. Great job, but the receiver staying in bounds. You know what I'm saying? Keeping himself alive. But DB right there, if you just give him a little push right out of bounds, you can push him there because the QB is out of the pocket.
20:52So it's not going to be a legal toucher. That's 20 to 13 now. Kansas City get the ball. They get back out there. It's Kelsey, four. Kelsey, five. They get to third down, and they said, you know what? Let's go ahead and see what Hunt going to do with it. Hunt on with Blue. He got 14 on now. Next play, Kelsey, 14. Courtback senior late. Mm-hmm. He was trying to do something. Also, let me get in here with this little seven-yard scramble. They got to spike the ball on the second down. And then this is where the experience come into play. You know, you get a delay. You know. So that was the big one right there.
21:28Get that delay. And I ain't gonna lie, still, on that third down, he just misses. Like, like Kelsey, if he had that pressure and he didn't have to. 24:23Second, you wait and tapping it. He's running the post. Get that DB time to go get underneath the ball, go make a play. But if you throw that thing like, I know I'm throwing this bang. I'm looking away. I'm looking off. As soon as I know, like, boom, boom, dropping it. As soon as he coming off of that bang, it hits him upside the head. He didn't touch that. Brown was thinking it was going to be short. If he don't think it's going to be short and just step back, step or two, he could have jumped and still got it, though. Could have still probably. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no, for sure. For sure. He gave them a chance.
24:53He tried to give them a chance. He gave them a chance. They end up falling short of it. Game ends up 20 to 13. Denver goes on. I think they're number one seed now, right? Yep. Controlling their destiny. Kansas City? No. I ain't gonna lie. Denver just killed them. Time of possession, almost 40 minutes to 20 minutes, dude. The defense, Denver's defense just played better. situationally, they just played better. What was Denver 11 for 18 on third down? Kansas City just gave up too many third and long pivotal moments. Fourth down at fourth down offsides by Chris Jones. That right there, they don't get that offsides.
25:42Where the game ends up right there, that's a field goal. At least you're going into a tie. You got overtime to try and do something with it. But this is what I want to talk about. Practice squad quarterback that just came out there and played the game he made and made the pass that he made. Bro, you tell me what you think of O. See, this is what I'm going to say. I'm not going to come out here and crown O because at the end of the day, O did throw for 57 yards. so like I'm not going to say he came out there lit it up and did the craziest stuff oh we got our franchise guy but what we did find is a dude that I see had some legs that didn't turn over the ball was quick to make decisions when I did ask him to throw the ball on the last drive he was able to make some good passes to Kelsey you know I'm saying keep the drive alive they didn't ask him to do too much so like you know it's good but I'm not going to say oh man like what is this guy because he threw 57 yards but just the ability to not mess it up to be able to be out there and just look, you know what I'm saying, not flustered.
26:49You know what I'm saying, be able to make some passes, be able to control it, not turn the ball over. He looked a little foggy sometimes, like when he just dropped it, fumbled it, picked it up. Like, just don't do nothing too crazy. But he looked really, he looked like he'd been watching Patrick Mahomes a little bit. You know what I'm saying? Like, just the creativity, trying to create, scrambling around. So I was definitely excited to see him out there. And their whole, the Kansas City Chiefs team, like, their offense, they didn't do too much, but they were in that game. they were in that game the entire time.

27:20So that's what really kind of got me. I'm like, a Patrick Lohomeless team that only had 139 total yards was in it the entire game. I think if that's a better quarterback or quarterback that's asked to do more or if he was in his third or fourth start, you know what I'm saying, could throw the ball a little bit more. They would have got them out the way, I think. You know what I'm saying? So that's a very, very positive side for the Chiefs to see that young quarterback. I'm happy that he's got his opportunity. and I think that just giving him some more leeway, you know what I'm saying, giving him some more of the playbook, letting him throw a little bit more and just a little more leash.
27:53So I like what I saw. He didn't do bad, but then with the 57 yards passing, I can't be like, oh yeah, that's going to be the franchise guy. But his legs, not making bad decisions, hitting Kelsey, hitting guys, you know what I'm saying, trying to drive the ball down, solid. I'll take that. Just throw the ball away a little bit when you have to on the one we saw and then just the dropping of the ball, being a little nervous, that was kind of, that's it. but I was positive. I like what I saw in him. Yeah, dude, practice squad player. As a practice squad player, this is your first ever. I ain't gonna lie, dude.
28:24I like it. I like it. I like it because he didn't go out there and mess it up. He gave him a chance to be able to win it. He didn't turn the rock over. He didn't make too many bad decisions. And like you said, he's a practice squad player, bro. This is his first live real action. And now with Mahomes out, he's going to get at least half of the year all of the offseason all the reps he's going to get all that with the ones get an opportunity to go out there and actually put in the work the time to actually work on his craft with the guys that he's going to be doing it with in the season I don't know man I think I see I see possibility of a lot of upside on this that's just you know I like that I like that no for sure it's always good to see a young dude and come in there and not look like a deal with the headlights.
29:14Look like the situation isn't too big for them, looking like they're ready, they're NFL capable. You know what I'm saying? So positive, bro. Super happy for them. Yeah, definitely, man. The, what was it? The Vikings went out here and beat up on Detroit or Detroit went out here and just squatted an A. I don't know which one you want to say it is, but. It could be, two things could be right at once. Yeah, yeah. You know, two things could be right. Things can't be right at once. Man, the Vikings get out there. I think this is the only really thing that the defense did. Well, they did more than – I'm real – I'm just – I can't get over how bad the offense did.
29:53Like, this is consecutive. It's – Like, I don't – anyway, man, let's get into it, man. Let's go. Vikings, they get the ball, they get out there. And Detroit forces a three and out with that third down sack. They end up punting the ball. Detroit gets out there. I think it was Goff to St. Brown for 11 on the first one. And Gibbs came back through to get the first down with four. Second down, Goff gets sacked. And then I think they got 10 on that third down. They line up for it on fourth and three. And they are called for a false start. Yo, that was bull spit. That was bull spit, bro. Dude did nothing but lift his head.
30:37He didn't even lift his head fast, bro. the regular head bob the regular head bob they end up having to punt the rock Vikings get the ball I think it was like second and seven the defense is called for a holding which they end up picking up the first down on that and then they pick up five I think second down Jones goes for ten and then first down he hits Jefferson for a hot nine. Yes. Third and one. What is it? Brosmer? Bromers? Bromsmer? Whatever it is. Quarterback. I'm going to call him B. B. B. B scrambled for 11. Boy put his feet to work. Put his feet to work. Boy needed to. He had to. Boy needed to.
31:28He had to. Both of them needed to. Well, he couldn't. Goff can't put his feet to work, but Jones ended up getting five on the first down. I think second down, they lost four. That was just a nice play, bro. Doom had a nice play on that one. And then third down, he gets sacked. They got to punt the rock back. No question, bro. Like, Detroit get back out there. I think it was that second down, Minnesota ended up challenging the spot they won. So they get to the third down and golf. Fumbles, the snap. The snap. They end up recovering the thing on the sixth team, bro. Bro, that's when it all kind of started for the Lions of, what are we doing out here?
32:19Like, are y 'all just, like, really just – I couldn't – from that point on, like, I loved that game, but not really, because I'm just kind of like just seeing my team, the Lions, I believed in them. Hey, listen, I'm going to get to that too, bro. But Jones gets out there first play. He get nine. I think he ended up picking up two on the second down for the first down. They tried one hot little pass. They're like, nah, let's go ahead. Give it back to Jones. He goes for four. Then third down, he finishes with a one-yard touchdown. It's 7-0. Detroit get back out there. I think the only play they had was that second and eight.
32:55He hit Williams for like 15. And then the next second down, Gibbs. fumbles the rock gives it back to Minnesota Vikings get the ball I think they got to like a third and five and two back to back false starts and then a sack they end up they end up putting it right back to them they get out there first down golf gets sacked I'm like dude what is going on here and then they get to third and 16 and that dude Tesla Tesla what was that 28? 30? Man yes 30 dude on the dig getting missing trying to throw people off yes I think it was third they get to a third another one third nine same round for 13 then they say hey let's try and get the run game going they give it to Gibbs he get eight and then they give it to him again he get six second down they drop St.
34:01Brown for a loss of five. Third and 15. Goff is running for his life. And he hit St. Brown for 23 to the Vikings 12. Brother, they end up getting down there going for it on fourth and one and barely make it. Brother, Tesla went head top. It was a lot of traffic over there. And you're going to throw that noisy pass on fourth down? I'm like, okay. He caught it, landed directly on his back. Oh, no, I'm talking about the first fourth down where they ran Montgomery. He barely got that. Oh, yeah. Then on the second fourth down. He barely got it by the catch. Yeah, they go for it on the fourth and fourth.
34:46The second fourth down. And they hit Tesla again. Yo. I don't know how he held on to that. That was just a great catch. I don't know how he held on to that. That man, he lost all of his wind. You see, he just lost all of his wind. Yo, I don't know how. He landed directly on his back. That's one of them ones where your back and head hit so hard, you conk out for a minute. You let the ball go and catch back. Yeah. You just let go. You just let go. I think that was the only real good drive they had. It was like 19 plays, 80 yards, over 10 minutes. Ended up tying it up 7-7. Yes. By far the best drive in the game.
35:24They needed that going beforehand. Oh, needed that. Needed that. Vikings get out there, and I think it was an illegal contact They gave him a first. And then second down, Romers, he gets sacked for a loss of 10. They can't make up from it. They punt the ball back. Goff gets the rock to end the half and get sacked. That's just how the game was going for him. Now Detroit gets to start the second half, though. Shit, second down, I think it was 10. Yo, St. Brown got fired on. But he picked up the first down. Yes. I thought they were going to call a flag on that, bro. He might get something in the mail, man.
36:06I ain't going to lie to you. You like, Sabro got the first out, but he got fired on him. We got fired on him. I'm trying to tell you. They go for it again later on the fourth down and get the false start. This is a real one, though. This is a real false start. They got to punt the ball. Vikings get out there. Detroit's defense stands up. They force a three and out, okay? They punted back to Detroit. Second down, Goff gets sacked. The very next play, he is under pressure trying to sling that thing and he gets picked. Yep. He just launched it. Yes. Chuck and Duck. Chuck and Duck. Byron Murphy. Great play.
36:50Hands team. Let me get that. Like, that just was a bad ball. That just was not... Yeah, that was one of them, you know, up in the air, hands team. somebody catch it somebody catch it why you do that bro yeah Vikings get out there Detroit they get a holding call on them on the first down they end up getting to what was it second to seven and Bromers I think he hit Oliver and then I think it was Chandler they just started running the rock I think they went five five two then ended up getting to the third down and he got sacked they settle for the field goal and 52 yards. They just... That ain't even the longest one, bro.
37:33We gonna get to that. I know. That's what I'm saying. They were just settling for field goals. I'm like, you just settling for a 52 yard? The defense is falling, bro. Yeah. Like, and I'm thinking, yo, at some point, this gotta change. Detroit, get back out there, okay? I'm like, this is just gonna change. Yeah. First play. That boy, Harrison. Harrison. Harrison Smith says, I know what you are doing and you're not about to do it. He just sat there. He didn't even move his feet, bro. As soon as he go to break, I don't feel it. He read that man like a book, Debo. I'm trying to tell you, that's great safety play.
38:10You got a fake too high. You know what I'm saying? They running that bang. They run off the play action. St. Brown's running that bang. And you had the corner. As soon as he ran the bang, the corner was like this. Yes, it looks like they've been studying it. They've been waiting for this moment. Come off that bang and you're going to jump. Harris, you jump it. If he runs a double, I'm going to come back. I got your top. I got your back. I got your back. I hope he runs a double. You know how you're supposed to play it, but we know this play coming. Hey, if this play comes, the very first time this play comes, jump it.
38:37I'm going to have your back. If it comes, I got your back. You know why? And that's what, yes. You the corner. I'm like this. As soon as he saw him break, he like this. Yes, because I told my man, if you don't go pick it, now I'm clowning you. I got the double move, fool. That's your money. No question. Go get it. I got your back. Don't even worry about it. I got your back. Don't worry about it. Yes. Vikings get out there. They can't do nothing with it. Detroit ends up holding them to a 56-yard field goal. 56-yard. That's what I'm talking about, D-Bo. We holding people to 56-yarders now. 56-yard field goal, bro.
39:07He ends up smacking that thing. And it had the nerve to hit the net, though. At 56. What? You disrespectful. Disrespectful, dude. 13-7. Detroit get out there. I think they ended up completing one first down. The next first down, this man is sacked, fumbled. Minnesota recovers the rock. There was a meeting at golf, brother. They hit that man. He was the middle of the sandwich. Smash. Boom. Ball popped out. Minnesota get the ball back. First down is holding. Second down, they get sacked. They just like, yeah, listen, we ain't trying to win this. We want to see the defense play. They punt the ball back.
39:52It was so bad. Yeah. Detroit gets out there, and they're like, yo, we're going to try and run this thing again, man. They give it to Gibbs. I think he was four, five, and then on the third down, he ends up picking up two for the first. They get no gain on the next first down. Lose two on the second, and I think it was, what, third and 13. They only got like five. They end up punting it right back to Minnesota. Minnesota again I don't want to do nothing with it Detroit say three and I'll get up out of here they punt it right back to them Detroit come out there and I think they get to they end up getting to like the Minnesota 30 they do a little something they get to the Minnesota 30 they kicks that field goal it's now 10 to 13 Minnesota they get back out there and on second down Atkins or Addison.
40:51Addison. This boy jets off on him. 65. See, the defense y 'all been holding, then y 'all just give up 65. Y 'all got a problem with the rush, dude. I got a problem. Up the sideline. 20 to what, 10? It's only like 340 left. They still kind of got a chance. You know, it's possible. Detroit get back out there. I think he hit Williams for like 22. And then they get to third down. And this dude is sacked, fumbled again. Like, at what point in time are we not going to try and hold on to this thing? They're getting to you. Minnesota recovers again. I think the Vikings go out there. They only got maybe 20 yards, seven plays, but it put them in field goal range.
41:42They kick the field goal 23-10. that's where the game ends it's over with it don't really much matter dude Detroit they got some issues I mean you can't turn the ball over that much you can't have your quarterback pressure that much all day they could not figure out how to handle the pressure bro it was just like it's just blatantly odd, like 68 yards rushing, bro, 197 passing. Boy, was sacked five times, picked two times, gave up three fumbles. Like, yeah, but, bro, that got me thinking, right? So I'm like, is Detroit, like, are they just bad now or are they just trash? Because, like, we did, like, the same thing to them.
42:34Like, what's going on? and dude when they say comparison is the thief of joy bro it is I ain't gonna lie I went and I'm looking at what we did I'm like y 'all let me rewatch this I'm looking at what we did I'm looking at what they did I'm like we gave up 361 yards to these boys Minnesota gave up 231 and I'm like they're not I don't think well yeah they are numerically they're that much better than us so So I'm like, they had to have like more plays or something. They did, but it was only like five plays. So I'm like, yo, I got to get something to make me feel good. I'm like, yeah, maybe it was play per game.
43:21I'm like, okay, Minnesota 3-2. I'm looking at ours. I'm like, 5-2. And I'm sitting there now and I'm like, yo, their offense ain't do nothing. And I'm like, what do we do on offense? I'm like, we gave our defense 481 yards of offense, 230 yards rushing. And at the end of the game, we in a dogfight just to stop these boys. And I'm like, you know what? I don't even want to think about it no more. I'm like, yo, we got to play the Browns. That's all that matters. Dude, I just stopped looking for it. Yes. No, Deebo, don't let that start messing with your head. Please don't let that start messing with your head.
44:05Dude, dude, comparison is the beef and joy, bro. I am so, like, I don't even know why I did that. Don't, don't do it. Don't worry about it. We playing the Browns this week, and we got to figure it out. We? We? Ah. Don't run that back. Hold on. We, brother? I'm always going to say, Deebo, I'm, you know what, man? Listen, brother. You know, I always keep telling you where my heart is. Okay. My heart is with the Cleveland Browns. Okay. Because I was drafted. My heart is there. Okay. But at the end of the day, you my good mans. So I'm going to give you honest feedback too. And I was there. So I want to see them do well also for sure.
44:47So we're going to be blatantly honest about the games, how it goes. But, you know, whenever it's nitty gritty, I'm the Browns guy. Yeah, we're going to get to that. We're mathematically eliminated. We'll get to that just just in a hot minute, man. It was one more game on on Christmas Day that we got to watch. Dallas, they they beat Washington. I mean, I don't 20 to 23. Now streaming on Paramount Plus from executive producer Lena Waithe. The acclaimed series, The Shy, reaches its final chapter for seven seasons. The 30-pound game, I mean, the game wasn't as close as the numbers say. I mean, Washington did, like, run on them boys for 100 and, what was it, 38, almost 140 yards. And it was 8.6 a tote. So Josh Johnson, he went, what, 15 for almost 200. They had 328 yards, but Dallas just got out on them early. They had almost 500 yards, 480 yards of total offense.
48:04They had 87 plays to Washington's 41 plays. Dak was 19 for 307. Their running back was 24 for one, was a 103. 3. They had 211 rushing as a team. They just got behind too early and couldn't make it up. Even though they had 8.6 a rush, they couldn't really use it. They was trying to catch up. So, that's that, you know. That's that, man. Both of them dudes like, you know, I mean, Cowboys, I think Commanders, they're down to the third string quarterback. Marty Oda was gone. Daniels was out. I'm just glad to see them out there trying to, they at least fight. Yeah, they was fighting. Trying to compete.
48:49They was fighting. You know, season's over, but you got dudes out there that's still trying to play, still trying to ball. So, it was good. That's always been a good rivalry. You know what I'm saying? I got a lot of Cowboys, man. They doing a lot and ain't coming away with no victories, man. If you was to sit back and just look at their numbers from the offensive side, you'd be like, yo, they got to have at least 12, 13 wins. Like, it don't correlate, dude. It's crazy. Like we got, man, I would hate that. That means you do a real battle. You do a real battle. You do a real battle. Them boys averaging almost, what is it, 300 yards pass in the game?
49:26Something crazy. Like 280, 290 or something. It's something goofy, dude. It's something real goofy. Them boys got to play. Them boys got to play well. Got a lot of ball coming this weekend, though, man. I think Saturday, we got the Texans and the Chargers. And then at, I want to say it's eight, we got the Ravens and the Packers. Listen, Packers, need y 'all to do something for you, boy. Do what y 'all supposed to do. Listen, man, do something for y 'all boy, man. Going out there and put these boys out their misery. Listen, I ain't saying I'm scared, okay? But I might be a little bit nervous of having to see Lamar the last week if it's something on the line.
50:23I don't want them to have nothing to fight for but pride. Okay? You want it to not matter. I want it to not matter to them. I don't want them to fight for nothing but pride. Okay? That's it. So that's why you need them, because if they lose, then they can come play us. It's over. It don't matter. Y 'all do whatever y 'all want. It's over. We ain't worried about y 'all now. Hold up. We got Sunday 1 o 'clock game. But that's what I'm saying. We ain't never been worried about y 'all. We ain't never been worried about y 'all. Hey, stop playing with yourself now. All right? Stop playing with me. That's what I'm telling you, bro.
51:00You being real disrespectful over there, boy. Huh? You got it? No, Debo. You just said you getting a little nervous about them having to play against the Ravens. if they got something to play for. See how you keep doing that, them, us, all day. You be, Joe. Ooh, we, you dirty, boy. I swear, you dirty. Ooh. Look here, man. One o 'clock. What's up, man? We go be in Cleveland on Sunday, one o 'clock, right? And you know what we go do. We go get up in there and kick the shit out of some dogs. I don't even like doing that. I love animals. but boy, I cannot stand a dog pound dog. D-A-W-G-S. Them dogs, not the D-O-G's, them dogs is mutts.
51:55They ain't got no clear bloodline. You know what, bro? You know what, Debo? You know what, Debo? You're not going to be talking about my dogs like that. That's what you're not going to do. Oh, I thought this was us. we. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. Because you know what, us we, but nobody's going to keep disrespecting. I told you what my heart said. You're going to keep disrespecting my heart? Your heart? Yeah, man. I told you my heart is with the Browns. You can't be talking crazy like that. You ever seen Mortal Kombat where he grab his heart and rip it out? That's what we're about to do. Hey, listen here.
52:31How many sacks Garrett got? You know, 21. He did? Listen. He damn sure ain't breaking the record this week. What you got to say about that, Joe? Miles going to break the record. When? Miles going to break the record this week. Miles going to break the record. He going to sack A-Rod. That's going to suck. But the Steelers still going to win, but Miles going to break the record. In Cleveland Stadium. Not. Not on duty. Not where the Steelers on duty. Not where the Steelers on duty. I hope it looks. They got to stop the run, which they cannot do to save their life. Yep. You know who we got over here?
53:22Gainwell. Gainwell. What are you talking about? Gainwells. Warren. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I already know. Listen. And, boy, it's run so hard. I really, I don't want to see this, but I feel like somebody might be taking a nap on your defense. The boys run too hard. They come through the hole too fast. It's too much power. It's too much skill. They're going to stand up. We the Pittsburgh killers. This one's going to tell you, you're going to understand it. You know? All right? And we the dog killers. The Browns going to come out there firing. The Browns going to come out there firing. The Browns going to come out there firing.
54:07hey, listen, listen, it's an animal, Joe, we told you. We still us. We, meaning me and the people out there watching right now. We the still us. We the still us. You, you with them. Okay? This week, you know what? This week, I'll take it. This week, I'll take it. This week, I'll take it. Are you being real disrespectful? Where your hat at? You going to stop talking? It's a lie. You're crazy. Tear this muck. Tear it apart. I do want to. I did. No. You. Don't rip my hat, dog. Come on. Come on, man. Listen, man. All we got to do, man, is go out here and stop the run and confuse Shador. We just got to line up, disguise our stuff, and we going to make him go ahead and throw it to us.
54:59He going to be out there running for his life. You hear me? That is fast. I didn't look for his life. You need to make sure he can throw that ball away. It's going to be tough because we got Jenkins. It's not out there. So my other man, Sanders and Samson, going to have to tote. So, yeah, it's going to be a tough, tough game out there, brother. Tough game. It's going to be easy sledding for us, baby. Easy sledding for us. And on top of that, your boy going to have to play out the whole year to get the sack record. because we don't give records. Okay? All right? We don't give nobody records. We make records on y 'all.
55:42You understand that? What's the score going to be, D-Bag? Matter of fact, I just got an article out where I slammed one of your Browns fans. You know what I'm saying? That was fun. We don't just do it to your players. We do it to your fans, too. That's what we do. anything that's brown and orange, we treat the same as we do to Puppet Pound. You understand? T-Bo, see, you talking about me being disrespectful. Do you hear how disrespectful you're being right now? Do you see how pitiful the Browns are every year? How many times y 'all done beat the Steelers, Joe, over the last, I don't know, say 15, 20 years, maybe four.
56:27The last time it was in the playoffs, that actually sucked. Yeah, that did suck. Yeah. Oh, yeah. How about that one? The Browns had a playoff win before the Steelers had the last playoff win. Oh. How about that? Oh, no, you didn't. Oh, how about that, Bebo? Yeah. All that. These put the Browns. Hey, brother, fighting world. Y 'all is the boo-boo of the world. All that. Browns won a playoff game last and they beat the Steelers. That was unfortunate. And I was on the Steelers team too. So you was with the trash. You wasn't even playing for them then. You was part of the crowd. I had COVID. I had COVID.
57:11That's the reason why we lost. I had COVID. I was at the crib. I had to watch the game from the house. I was trying to come up with something, but I guess that wasn't it. Anyway, Joe, you know what time it is. This is time to play On The Fade. By Brad Spie.
57:40Joe, you know how it works, baby. I got my lineups, baby. You either go play or you go fade it. Okay? And look here, I'm going to tell you what it is. Man, tell me why you did this finagre. Listen, man. I just know what they going to do. They going to get Derrick Henry this rock, bro. Okay? Yes. I got him for more because they going to give him the rock. They not about to sit there and get another situation where they questioning what's going on. Derrick Henry about to get this rock 25 to 30 times, man. And if Derrick Henry can't get more than 72 yards after 25, 30 carries, it's a problem. Okay?
58:19Now, Shador is going to be less You know why? Because that's what we do to rookie quarterbacks Less passing He's not going to even have a He's going to That's why I got him more on rushing He's going to be running for his life He's going to be running for his life Point blank period, okay? And, you know, Jacksonville Hey, old man Rivers, I ain't going to lie to you, man You're going to be less this week I'm sorry. They're going to be ready for it this time. So, Joe, you tell me what you're going to do, baby. You're going to play this thing or you're going to fade this thing, Joe. And you tell me why you're going to be disrespectful if you're going to fade it.
59:05You see what this is? This is what I'm calling this a temper fade. I'm going to fade this joint for a couple of reasons. Hold on. What you... Dirk Henry, I was with you. I was with you. Shador underpassing. This is why I might be against you. Say, we're going to stop the run. Steelers are going to have to stop the run. You know how it gets. Steelers are up by 13. Dunk, dunk. Everybody backing up, playing that defense that we hate to see. I'm liking 120, 130 in real game time in the first three quarters, dump down something maybe 50, 60 in the fourth of Popeye. So he's going to get at least 200 yards passing.
59:5011 and a half yards rushing, yes, he's going to be running for his life. So that is a correct one. And then old man Phillip and under, that is correct also because, you know, Jacksonville's not playing. They playing for a lot. They got things to do. Old man Rivers, they probably going to be on his tushy. So I say, you had... Dude, you can't fade me on the door. That's out of control. That's disrespectful. that's disrespectful you talking about he gonna get he gonna get look how much look Jared Goff did you just Jared Goff got St. Brown and all that y 'all got Jared Judy he liable to drop a pass just as much as he liable to catch one ah ah you know what man listen here make sure y 'all download the app today and use the code DBOJO and get$50 in lineups after you play your first$5 lineup.
1:00:52You don't want to miss nothing, baby. Look here, tell your mama, your papa, everybody here. Joe out here, he smoking on, I don't know, that Tukey or so, I don't know what he's smoking on, man. Like, he drinking Haterade and all that, man. He's like, I don't know what's going on, man. Never. He go get$200 on us passing? Bro, it's going to get 200. Just 200. That's not crazy. That's not crazy. And Miles going to break the record. Hold on. Let me ask you this. Joe, Joe, Joe. I said Miles going to break the record because you made, look, I said that out of spite. I said that went out of spite. I was a little out of my feelings.
1:01:38You got real good. How many seconds did he get last time? None. He didn't have none last time. He didn't have none last time. Did he even have a tackle? He might have had one.
1:01:51Look, oh, yeah. I mean, I don't know. You beatboxing over there? What's going on? I don't. I don't. You got me a little confused now, man, because I don't know. I think he might get one. He going to get one. Yeah, he going to get one. He going to get one against us. Who y 'all last game against? Dang. I don't know. You know what? You should find out. I've been going game by game. Hold on. It really matters. No, I did know because I told you last time. He is going to break the record. You understand what I'm saying, Joe? I tell you. Oh, yeah. Oh, it's Joe Burrow. It's Joe Burrow. Yes. You see how you're...
1:02:40Hey, you believe what you just said right there about Cincinnati. You don't believe what you were saying about the Pittsburgh Steelers. You know what, Debo? You're exactly right. I told you I was sad. I was in my feelings when I said, yeah, you're going to get it this week. But legitimately, you saw my reaction when they were in Cincinnati. That's how I felt for real. Listen, man. You can't hide, man. You can only act for so long, man. You're an athlete, man. And you're a Browns fan, man. You like to be, you know, be in the position of being disappointed but hoping for it. But in reality, you know it's not going to happen.
1:03:18And you couldn't hide it no more. And that's what the people saw. That's what everybody saw, you know? And you want to be a Still a fan because you want to win. You're tired of being with a group. I am, bro. You're tired of being with a group of just people that just all they know how to do is lose. Lose, lose, lose no matter what. Got losing on their mind. They can never give it up. You know? I'm just saying, Joe. I'm just saying. I'm good on you. Deebo, I'm good on you, brother. I'm good on you. Hey, man. Look here, man. What are you going to be wearing? I really want to know what are you going to be wearing? Just wait. Is it going to be Browns? Is it going to be Stellars?
1:04:44Are you going to go and cut a jersey in half and make it both? Listen here. I'm going to tell you this right now. God forbid that we lose this game. That's what I'm saying. I want to see how you come in. If you make one cracker smile, I'm going to crack. out. I don't want to see your whole set get thrown out. I promise you. It's a level of professionalism. Lord, Jesus, please don't let this happen. If we lose this game, as soon as it's over, it's only a four and a half, five hour drive to you, Joe. I'm going to... Nope. I'm going to come get you, Joe. We going to do the show side by side. Because it ain't going to be no kiki and ha ha and all that shit.
1:05:35No. It's going to be straightforward. You better announce that. You shooting for my crib? Like you one of these announcers on TV and we got to play like this and you better show the excitement for both of them and the disappointment for both of them. Because if I see you, if you come in here with brown stuff on, if you wearing a helmet, bruh, God, please don't let this happen. I'm trying to stay on the path of righteousness. But if some things I can handle, Lord, some things I can't. If that happens and this man do what he say he go do, I got to drive down there to make sure that he stay even killed because if he don't, I'm going to crash out.
1:06:19And I'm going to see you at Super Bowl even if that end up being the worst thing. We ain't even going to be some furniture moving, Joe.
