In short
Debo and Joe break down the Falcons’ 35-14 upset of the Packers, focusing on Bijan Robinson’s rushing impact, Kirk Cousins? (not mentioned) and Jordan Love’s struggles, then pivot to Steelers news about Joey Porter Jr.’s contract dispute and mindset.
Guests
No separate guests appear in this transcript. The “guests” discussed are players/figures: Bijan Robinson, Jordan Love, Drake London, and Joey Porter Jr. (interview excerpt).
Guest backgrounds (as referenced)
- Bijan Robinson: Falcons RB; described as a “dog,” with 29 carries for 194 yards and two touchdowns.
- Jordan Love: Packers QB; criticized for low completion rate (~52-53%), bad throws, and being booed at home.
- Drake London: Falcons WR; described as 9 catches for 194 yards.
- Joey Porter Jr.: Steelers player; contract talks missed deadline; he says it’s “old news” and he’s focused on being 100% healthy.
Key claims
- Falcons won by running the ball (41 rushes, 242 yards) and limiting sacks (0 sacks allowed).
- Packers offense lacked rhythm; Love’s passes were “off,” including throws that should’ve been intercepted.
Notable examples
Bijan’s “dead-leg” cut and multiple big runs; a 68-yard London bomb; a blocked/failed late Packers drive; Love’s interception late after a scramble/turnover sequence.

They out of... They somewhere where... I think they in Cabo. They somewhere... Hey, Joe, they somewhere they got a balcony. They somewhere they got a balcony. They got some water. My mother is... Talk about tanning. Aruba. Aruba. Tan.
7:02Aruba? They was in Aruba. That's where they was at. They was in Aruba. Aruba. Hey, man, I want to go to the one place, man. What's the name of the one place? What's about? It's like in the middle of nowhere, bro. What? I keep... Bali? No. It's close.

What is the name of that? Chat, y 'all got to tell us what the name of that is. Bore Bore. No, it ain't Bore Bore, man. Okay. That ain't Bore Bore, brother. All right. Somebody go tell us who it is. I need to jump into the chat right now anyway, because I'm out here tripping. I ain't even in that thing right now, brother. Get in there, Debo. Did you jump in that thing? Yeah, I did. They shout out to my parents. Happy anniversary to mom and dad.
7:49James Harrison:Okay. You know what I'm saying? We got practice today. Browns got practice. I'm excited. The weather's looking good. I fixed the wristbands all up. I went into my offensive coordinator system. You know what I'm saying? I downloaded the app. My assistant coach sent me the app so I could just put the plays all right. I got everybody live. You need an app? You need an app? You ain't good as Dick LeBow, huh? You can't just sit right there and have it in your head. I got to use, I can do pen and paper, but I'm saying it's so much easier. I said just sit right there within your head. Dick LeBow ain't even.
8:18It was in my head.
8:19James Harrison:It's in my head, and I got to put it to the playbook. So it was just, I was all in my, it was literally, I'm just making up the play. I'm all in my head. Do all in my head. I'm seeing it. Slants, slants, slants and flats. Okay, we got outs and fades. You know what I'm saying? I'm putting combinations. Tell them that game plan. Whoever the coach is that's going against Joe, he tell them about a game plan right now. They're not ready. They're not ready. We just need to be running. Turks and Caicos. Is that it? I've been to Turks and Caicos. No, that ain't it. That ain't it. Maldives Maldives Maldives Maldives Maldives Maldives Maldives Maldives We gotta go to the Maldives For a week 10 days Maldives got the same thing As Boobor We shoot from the Maldives Man We go to the Maldives Yeah we shoot from the Maldives In the next In the next Two three year Year or two Anywhere in the next Three years We shoot in the Maldives For a hot week Joe Oh my Hot week Joe Sign me up Sign me up Yo Come on, man.
9:19James Harrison:Long they got that Wi-Fi connected. We set it up. That's all I need. We shoot the D-bone Joe. Right after. Hey, it's wide open to the sky. Come on, man. Satter like Joe. Right after that. You know, I'm feeding the sand. Feeding. Now, I ain't going to. Man, you ain't going to go out there and chill in the sand. I'm just talking about my feet. I'm not going to lay in the sand. I'm going to just chill. You know what I'm saying? Catch a little wave. Hey, I'm going to go right there where you slide off into the water right there from your own little bungalow. You know how they get in? You got the little pool part too, you know what I'm saying?
9:51All that right there. Joe, I've been looking at that, Joe. I'm trying to tell you, Joe. I'm going to go over there and have a good time with myself. You understand that? Real good time, Joe. Find me up. I'm taking me. I know
10:00James Harrison:Moobie down for the Maldives. Look here, brother. Look. The Falcons, they went out there and they put that Uwak on the Packers, man. 35 to 14. Bruh. Yes. Game. I don't even know. How did they score 14? Anyway, we didn't get into it, brother. I didn't think they scored 14. I thought it was more like 10 or something. No, man. It's mop-up points, Deebo. You know how that goes. At the end, when everybody, you know what I'm saying, now y 'all want to just finagle something, you lost. You lost finagle. Finagle something. Look here, brother. Falcons start off with the rock, brother. In the first play, Bijan hit him for four.
10:42Then they go ahead, dump the screen to him. He go ahead, shake him for a high 17. Yes. And then my guy, Penis, gets intercepted on the second down by McKinney. First game back, he ain't really seeing it how he's supposed to see it, knocking off a little rust.
11:00James Harrison:Yes. You know what I'm saying? Yes. This is what I'm saying. Don't the first two plays you're getting at the B-John continue until they stop it. You know what I'm saying? I understand. It's early. You don't want to get them in the flow. But your first play, tote. Second play, screen to them. Just keep on giving it to them. You want to go incomplete for a bomb, understand you want to get them right, then pick. Okay. Started off not good for pedics, but B. John, obviously. Just keep giving it to them. Yeah, yeah. Just giving it to them. Giving it to them. But they ain't tripping. They got to get him back in there.
11:31They got him back in there. They do. They do. They do. They get back out there. Defense force a three and out. But on that one pass, Love threw to Watson. I think if he had just kept going, he might have. Or if he had threw it better, I don't know. So I think the receiver keep going or he threw it a little better. I think dude slowed down a little bit. He could have caught that. Anyway, they got to punt the rock over. It is what it is, brother. Atlanta, Dijon, he get back out there, brother. He hit a run. I think it was seven. Yes. And on the second, he got another one for three to pick up the first.
12:07And then Green Bay decided they know how to stand up a little bit. They want to force him. They force him to do the rest of them, go to the fourth down. They got to punt that thing up out of there. They ain't tripping. Green Bay get the rock back. They get to like a third and 11, bro. Love hits Golden. For how much?
12:26James Harrison:They said 45, bro. Yes. And that's what I'm telling you. Great adjustment on that. Great adjustment. Ball placement wasn't as good, but great, great adjustment by Golden. He was searching for it, bro. Looking for it. That's how you find the ball. I didn't think he was going to find it. I didn't even lie to him. I didn't either, but that was a great, great job tracking the rock. Yeah, next play, Green Bay, they ended up getting a hold, knocked them to a first and 20. He had love. He hit Lloyd, I think it was like 10 plus or something like that. Then they got an unnecessary roughness, which added on to it.
12:58And then it was like, what, the 15? Then it was another 15 on top of that. So that put them first and 10 at the Atlanta 20. Is that right? 28. Yes, correct. 28. Then I think it was Lloyd. He ran for about six there, followed by, I think, Love. He hit Kraft for maybe eight in the first down. And then it was Love. More for like nine, second and one. I think it was five. Lloyd, he hit, or he went, picked up the first down right there. And then I think Love finished to Wassett.
13:32James Harrison:Wassett, play action, pass. Got them two defenders on the same guy. It was an insert. DB, corner. You have the deepest. The safety has the tight end. You have the deepest that comes out of that bunch. You have the deep seven route. So, great job. They made a play action touchdown. 7-0, brother. Atlanta, get back out there, and they would immediately answer. First down, picks to pitch for a hot little five, brother. And then it's Brian. Brian, you got B 'Jone and Brian. B 'Jone, and if your last name Roberson, you could tote the rock. You can tote the rock in Atlanta. For sure. Tote the rock in Atlanta.
14:13Brian Robinson, he then gets him a couple back-to-back carries for six and nine. Get on to a first down. Then they make it a second and one. Then Penix goes and hits, what? Intentional ground. He wows out.
14:28James Harrison:Yeah, nobody's there. He just throws it in the ground. I thought it was a sack fumble, for real, for real. I knew it was intentional. He just threw the ball to the back of the off the linemen because he had nowhere to go. I thought he lost it. it was a bullet. He threw it. Yeah, I thought he lost it. When they replayed it, I saw it then. They ended up getting to, what was it, a third and 11 on that? Third and 11. Biggest play. Biggest play. Biggest play. Y 'all want to get a rough in the passer? What you doing? Y 'all want to make it first and 10? Like, why is y 'all doing that? You're off the field.
15:00You're off the field. And then what happened? That other Robinson. That's when B-Haweson. take that thing 55
15:09James Harrison:bro that look like a video game did you see him cutting it Debo he's setting people up the dead leg up the sideline boom you getting set up and now he's running on another angle you trying to catch your other angle he's setting you up again when you're running for that angle like every he's cutting up your angles every time full speed yes not acting like you see not acting like he sees you but he sees you Did you see him run 44 over at the end though? Yes, because he's running 44s, running for another angle. And then he plants his foot because he's trying to run to a winning angle to the pylon.
15:46James Harrison:Next thing you know, you're getting dead-legged on and he's running smack at you. So he's trying to run to the spot, dead-legged, bing. Like that's just Bijan setting you up the whole time. Yeah, bro. I think he ended up scoring on that second down. What was it? Seven-yard, three-yard touchdown. Yes. Yeah, they end up, I think, what is it now? Seven-seven or something like that? Yes, it is, brother. And I think that was kind of, yeah. Yeah, and then the rest is, anyway, let's go ahead. Green Bay, you back out there, man. Atlanta forced a three and out. I think it was Lloyd that dropped that. They dropped Lloyd for a three-yard loss right there.
16:27And ended up putting him a little behind the chains. Second and 13. Yes. And a second down.
16:32James Harrison:Second and 13, that was a great play by the DB on the over. He had him late. He's just looking. As soon as you get in position, turned his head. Last second, made a play on the ball. Yeah, he punched that thing out of there. Then they got to punt the rock back over, brother. And then it gets back out there. Yo, the punt returner was tripping. Oh, my goodness. Did he not? Ain't they supposed to sit they feet at like 10? At the 10. At the 10, Debo. At the 10. If you go back behind the 10, make them gunners have to field the ball. It can easily bounce back into the end zone. So once you get to the 10, I'm like, oh, man, you need to make it to the 20.
17:14James Harrison:Like, get out of here. Dude, he got lucky to get out the end zone. He 1 ,000 % almost had a safety. Like, he got lucky. Atlanta got out there, and they first four plays, I think, and went for, what was it, 7, 4, 11, and another one for 16 before they ended up getting to the Green Bay 45 and stalling out. Yep. Force a punt. Green Bay get the ball back. They do nothing. And they force a three and out. Boy, that looked like a fumble. That looked like, hey. All you need is a little bit of arm going forward with control of the ball. I'm like, that's what he's saying. It looked like he made his arm go forward.
17:54That's what it. But, you know, I'm a defense dude. Yeah, for sure. That's just, you know. Incomplete. Incomplete. Incomplete. Landon get the rock back. First down. He started warming up a little bit. Penisence London, I think, for seven. Yes. Then B-Zone, he had to go ahead and pick him up a high eight in the first down.
18:13James Harrison:His patience is setting everybody up, Debo. It's his patience and explosiveness. He's like, you can stop, pause, and you can get from zero back to full speed. fast, like him and Gibbs, that burst, it's not just power, it's just how you can slow down and then be able to get through that with all that strength. Oh, yeah. What's the dude's little receiver, Zerk, or whatever it was, dude, he got five yards on that next play, though. He worked his life, spending everything for that five. Then that boy B 'Jong come back for a hot 10. B 'Jong get 10, go ahead and make it first down. And then, Brian, he come in there, he get dropped for three.

23:43It's 10 to 7. Let's go. Green Bay gets back out there in the first pay. It is a personal... Pass interference. Take it back. He's a pass and a fierce in Atlanta, dude. Flipped the whole field. They went from 8-33 to Atlanta's 33. And one play. First and 10, brother, at Atlanta. And then y 'all go out there. Defense. And they say, yeah.
24:09James Harrison:The Falcons made plays. Those was great plays. Hey, two nice breakups. Two great plays. One-on-one. Ball, like, great D.V. play. One-on-one. Eyes back. You know what I'm saying? Play on the ball. Both of them. Both of them. Both of them. B-O-F. Both of them. Both of them, Joe. And then get your field goal smacked. Then you got to settle for a 47-yard field goal, Joe, and get it blocked. Did you see how my cousin blocked that? That's your cousin? It is now.
24:45James Harrison:Man, I thought, there you go. I thought that was your real live kin. Hey, man, I got to do the 23andMe and C, man. I got to check it out. But hey, man, my cousin went and blocked that thing, man. You know what I'm saying? He for sure did. Yeah, man. Let it get the ball back, you know? They say, you know, it's just over, what, 340 left on the clock, something like that. Yes, sir. They say it ain't too far to go. They say all we going to need is about eight plays to get, you know, 64 yards. That ain't nothing. So on first down, 10, hey. They say, hey, London, what you doing over there, baby? Twinkie.
25:23James Harrison:Because I'm telling you this. on that good old play action. If B. John's toting it at 10 yards a tote, you're going to respect it. Play action. Linebackers come up. Bang. Right behind your head. Boom. They get to a 31. Then they sit running again for a hot 16. Bruh, first and 10 at the 18. That man B. John would go ahead and give him a hot little 10. And then it be first and goal from the 8. and on third down. Hopper. Penny Stepper. Hopper. All the other players over there, five and out. What are you backing up into the end zone for? Quick five and out. Bang. Tutty. What they doing, Joe? Why is he even doing that?
26:07James Harrison:Don't back up. There's nowhere to go. If he catches the ball, it's a touchdown. Keep your heels on the goal line and then you undercut everything. 17. 17 now to... 17-7. Okay. Green Bay get back out there. They ain't got no more than 50 seconds left. And somehow they managed to get a ball back to these boys. He almost got picked on that first down, though. Oh, for sure. He almost got picked. And then on that third and two, he has the first down caught. Boom. Bates. Boom. Bates got it up out of there. Give me that. Punch the ball back. Landon get the ball back. They in the half. It is what it is.
26:41It ain't really nothing crazy. It's still close. It's 17, what, 17-7 right now? 17-7. Green Bay get the ball to start the third quarter. So they got a shot. You know what I'm saying? They get up out there. I think it was that third and one that Love ends up hitting Golden for 12. Yes. And it's first down. Then Love hit, who was it? Watson for 22. Yep. Second and 10. Love them more for a hot 12. And it's first and 10 at the Atlanta 16, Joe. Yes, sir. And on fourth and one, they go for it. And don't make it. Take the points. The turnover. You kick that, it's 10 to 17.
27:24James Harrison:You a touchdown away. They believe and they don't think they're going to get down there too often. And they made it down there, so they're trying to get a tutty. And high air mail on a scramble, it's fourth down. We got to put the ball into play because otherwise it's obviously turnover on downs. So let somebody make a play, scramble around a little bit longer. just don't airmail it out the back of the end zone. It's 4-4-1. That's our last play. Worst case scenario, it is a pick, but give somebody a chance. Throw the ball in play. Dude, it didn't. They didn't want no pick for what? I feel you, but I mean, throw it lower to give a guy a chance.
28:07James Harrison:It's already fourth down. We're turnover on downs regardless. Okay, so now they get the rock at what, the four, the six? What is it? The eight? They get it at the eight. All right. Okay. Now Atlanta, you just gave up an opportunity to get three. You gave them boys the ball back. You had, supposedly, y 'all was thinking good field position. You did have good field position, but they ain't really care nothing about that. Because they would go, what was it, 10 plays, 92 yards. Yes. Just over six minutes for a tutty. Because of it. You know, he's a hot little six. Second and four. He had 31. Did you – he – one-on-one with Alexander.
28:52James Harrison:That's a nice linebacker. Twinkle toe, stop, and start. Full speed. Like, Devo, did you see him? Zoom. I said – like, my man, he stopped on – I'm so glad this dude wasn't there week one. Man. That dude. He was there, but that dude – He was there? No, no, he was there. He did that to us when he got skinny on the jump, That's what the Steelers, I respect our defense, but at the same time, they didn't have Pettix throwing the drill. We had Rush out there looking crazy. Thank the Lord we didn't have him. Yeah, that was bad. Okay, let's go. Okay, continue. We were good. All right, anyway, man, first 10 from the 50, you got Brian Wivers, and he come up out there and said, let me get a hot seven and eight.
29:36Third and seven, Pettix to London again. He gave him for a hot 16.
29:40James Harrison:That's where Pettix is doing his thing. He's throwing those. The first half wasn't doing as good, but now you got to be back and forward. His second, after the first drive, after he threw that pick, good play. Good play. It came back from all that. Yeah, first and 10 at the Green Bay. What was that, 16 right there? You got B. John, he gone for six, and then it was three, and then they gone ahead and finished that thing with Robinson. The other Robinson. My good man. Brian. Brian Robinson. He finished the thing with Patience, bro, on that third down. I thought he just, like, I thought the TV froze.
30:17James Harrison:No, that's what I'm saying. They're setting up the second level. They're setting up those linebackers to jump to the other hole, and then they're going this way. Bruh, they playing peek-a-boo with them, man. They playing peek-a-boo. Don't be playing peek-a-boo with them, man. They play peek-a-boo with them. They're setting you up. Them boys are setting you up. Seven-yard touchdown. It is now, what is it, 24 to seven? 24 to seven, Debo. 24-7, man. Green Bay get back out there. Second down, play that. That was luck, bro. That was luck. That was like a backwards pass. And it hit my – like, he couldn't believe that the ball was coming right at him in the chest.
30:57James Harrison:That should have been a pick. Like, that's what I'm looking at. Jordan Love, the first play, into the dirt. This one, the crowd started booing a little bit. You started hearing the boo-birds. I'm like, okay, you got to do something. You just threw the ball and almost initially hit the dude right in the chest. And that could have been a pick for sure. He could have walked the joint back for the end zone. This is not looking good. Yeah, it wasn't looking good at all. But he got lucky. He got it. I think it was, what's the dude's name? He ended up picking up nine. Love hit him. They get the first down.
31:28And then that little dump that love threw the Johnson, bro. Picked. Hey, no, man. Little dump that love threw the Johnson, man. He was trying to take souls. I'm talking about the play before, man. Oh, okay, yeah. He tried to take two souls on that play, bro. I'm trying to tell you, bro. He dropped a soul right there as soon as he caught the rock and turned around. And then he tried to just obliviate the other dude, man. That's helmet down, man. That's crown of helmet. That's what I'm saying. That needs to be a flag. Bro, that needs to be a for real flag, man. Second down, Love ended up getting sacked.
32:05They ended up having to punt again. Atlanta get right back out there. And B-Zone, B-Zone said, let me get a hot nine. But it was a hold. So they ended up backing it back 10. I think that made it first and 14 right there. And he would go again, pick up nine of that, making it, what was it? Ended up being getting to a third and two. Yes. Pennix hits. Damn it. London. He goes to London. Is that London Parade? Yes, it is. Getting bombed up. 68 yards. What is your DB doing, Joey? Is he watching the game with everybody else and just being enamored? What's going on? He's watching TV.
32:48James Harrison:That's the coach who was still doing that on film. Looking at the coach, he's watching TV. What part of his release made him think this dude was about to try and block it? That was like, no, I didn't see nothing that made him want to just run up there like that and dude is just not even looking at him. Yes, Debo. That's bad eyes. Terrible eyes. Bro, he lucky dude wasn't as fast. London ain't as fast as, you know. No, yeah, for sure, for sure. He went on ahead and he walked him down, but still, when it come down to it, they end up getting the little 68. And then on that, I think it was second down, what was it, a hold there.
33:28They get behind the chains, can't pick it back up. But they settled for, what was it, a field goal there? Yep, yep. 27-7. 27-7. The big thing is they used up almost five minutes of time to go, I think it was 79 yards. Right now they're just trying to burn up a little bit of clock. I think Green Bay gets the ball back with the fourth, just under 11 minutes left in the fourth. I don't know what they was playing. I think it was more that prevent defense that allowed them boys to move how they was moving. and then, you know, you pick up a fourth and seven. Yeah. Like, yeah, you know. Two men, it didn't take them just over 230 to go 76 yards, score a touch.
34:16It's 14 now to 27. It ain't really as close as it sounds like because they get the ball back. Yes. Atlanta gets the ball back. But eight minutes and 11 seconds left in the fourth quarter. And they go ahead and they work off. It wasn't nothing but eight plays, but they used almost, was it five minutes? Mm-hmm. And still scored a tutty. It was that one-on-one. And then added disrespect to it and went for a two-point conversion. Yep. Penix hit London for 40. And then you had Bison. He went six rushes for 25 in the tutty to finish it off, 35-14. Love would come back out there and throw an interception on that second and 10.
34:58That's basically, you know. A second to go. Yeah, yeah. On that second, yeah. At the 10, like, that's it. Game over with, Joe. Game done. Game done, Joe. What's going on over there, man? I'm going to tell you right now, though. What's up? Atlanta? You got it. I'm so, I don't, yeah, keep the Knicks off the field because they look totally different. They ran all over them boys, man. 41 rushes for, what is it, 242 yards. That's just rushing. That's almost six a carry, man. Uh-huh. And, man, B-Zone was 29 for 194, two tutties. The other Robinson, Ryan, that man got him 50 in a touchdown, too. The offense had 25 first downs, bro, 60 % on third down.
35:53And they had the ball for over 37 minutes. Hendricks shook the rest off after that first interception. Then went 18, a 25, a 240, sorry, a 256, a tutty. And like I said, the little interception. But the man still had a one, what is it, a 101.4 passer rating, bro. Mm-hmm. Zero sacks. Yes. Zero, bro, zero sacks. brother this is what i'm gonna tell you don't let rush in there that's what i'm gonna tell you
36:29James Harrison:don't let rush in y 'all need to cut him this is what i'm gonna tell you yes atlanta falcons they lost they lost to us the steelers and then they lost to the us and then they lost to the panthers so when you look at the falcons i would say the main thing was bijon robinson has been balling it's been their quarterback play so they only get like it's not it hasn't been nothing else. Give the ball to Bijon. He's going to perform. Your quarterbacks, they haven't been able to, Drake London, been so pissed off on the sideline because he hasn't been able to even get the rock at all. My thing is with the Atlanta Falcons offense, Bijon is a dog.
37:07James Harrison:Hand it to him. Pass it to him. Give him screens. Continue to give him the ball as much as you possibly can. Your quarterback, they had Cooper Rush out there in his game last week versus the Carolina Panthers when they got smacked, his first drive, first and 10, he's trying to run. Boom, scram, fumble. You lose the rock. Turnover. And then the second drive, you throw a pick. You throw two picks, and then you fumbling the ball. What are you doing? Give the ball to B. John Robinson. Don't turn the ball over. Our defense is playing well. Like, sometimes we can get beat. Like, they obviously can play better.
37:38James Harrison:They can make plays. But the rushing game, they had no run game. You have, when you're playing with Green Bay, they had two backs that had four carries for 11 yards and the other back had four carries for six yards. When you have 17 yards rushing and so your defense is holding down, you make him have to pass the ball. So for Atlanta, Atlanta, you guys, if you have a quarterback that is serviceable, not hurting your team. Penix, he went out there and threw a pick. First series, first two plays, hand off to Bijan, screen to Bijan, 16-yard, 20-yard. Okay, boom. Then you incomplete pass fade, and then you throw a pick.
38:20James Harrison:I'm like, coach, you got Bijan Robinson on your team. Don't put your quarterback in position to hurt himself. Keep handing the ball off until we get to the point to where after that first drive, play action pass going to work because everybody's running up, and now you can hit Drake London on those bang eights. Very simple. Don't put your quarterback in position to be messed up. But then quarterback, understand, you got B. John, you got B. John handed off, toss it to him. Don't mess it up. Don't throw picks. Your team is good enough to, all right, let's punt it if we have to. You know what I'm saying?
38:49James Harrison:So with the Falcons offense, competent quarterback play will have them looking a whole lot better when you have B. John Robinson on your team. Continue to give him the rock. Green Bay, Jordan Love. Y 'all was looking very, very questionable when you're on that side. When I say you have two running backs that ran the ball for eight carries for 17 yards. There's no getting no flow going. And then at the same time, Jordan Love, I saw some ground balls. There's some bad passes. Those fade balls that you're throwing, those floaters, you're making your receivers adjust a lot of the time. Hey, that shouldn't even have been caught.
39:28James Harrison:Those shouldn't have been caught. That's a great receiver, but those passes aren't that good. The post that he threw for a touchdown, the golden at the end of the game, that's back. That's behind. He has to reach back and break it up. Like, I mean, DB could have easily, if that's a good DB that's tight, he could have broke that up, intercepted it. So, Jordan, you weren't playing. Your passes weren't really that good. A lot of some of your stuff was into the dirt. So, when you see teams, when I'm looking at the Packers, I was kind of like, damn, you wonder why you're at home. You're getting booed.
39:58James Harrison:And Kraft talking about something. I mean, we would expect that. I'm like, no, you get booed when you play bad. Like, that's why they boo you. They don't want to boo you. But the fans, at the end of the day, they paid their bread to come out to the game. And if you're a player, you know that you're only getting booed because of the performance that's happened out there on the field. There's no point. Don't be emotional. Don't be sad. Be sad because you're playing bad. Like, you're getting booed because you're not playing good. When you score, they don't boo you. When you're winning, they're rooting for you.
40:25James Harrison:They're cheering for you. When you come out of the tunnel, they're geek. I ain't never heard the boo birds, Joe. They were some boobers. I ain't never heard them, Joe. I ain't never heard them at my home stadium, Joe. I done heard them. I can hear you never heard them. I can tell you I've heard them, and I've only heard them when they've been deservingly happening. And I'm like this, yep, damn. We out here, man. Got to be more careful. No wonder. I ain't going to lie to you, Joe. I ain't never deserved it. I ain't never played. We ain't never played bad enough to deserve it, Joe. I'm sorry, Joe.
40:55I don't know that feeling, Joe. Look here, man.
40:57James Harrison:You was at the game with me when the Steelers were getting booed. I wasn't playing in the game. You was with me. We were in the stands. I wasn't in the game. I was booing with him. You weren't in the game. We was there. I was booing with him, Joe. We was booing with him. I wasn't. You know you was booing. You ain't talking about no booing. D-Bo, you ain't. Don't be sad because you're playing bad. Like Joe said, you don't boo the piss out you. Don't be playing that bad. don't be out there playing bad oh my god that's funny man london went nine for 194 that will happen when you change up the quarterback listen we gotta rush it ain't in it he ain't this totally different man you that if that's y 'all backup quarterback and that's all y 'all got and this is the best y 'all got right now and the guy you could post i have three of them or something, whoever it is.
41:53Y 'all might need to get somebody else because the play of what you can do is different. It's like day and night. Like, you can't have that and think you can get into a game because, like, what do we do? We say, hey, all we got to do is stop B-John from beating us. Follow B-John. And they still was able to get in there.
42:11James Harrison:He still scored. He still has a competitive game. But you had a quarterback back there that we got to worry about. For sure. He threw the ball to us. Somebody else. He threw the ball to us. He threw a touchdown to us. Like, dude, what you talking about, Green Bay? Man, listen, I thought we had run game issues, bro. Yeah, D-Bo, I wouldn't. Hey, your boy's right there. 17 yards? That's other people's problems. But if that, D-Bo, oh my gosh. Listen, and I'm with you on love, man. Love is not looking like the guy he normally was, especially not even from last year. When you look at it, what is he, a 52, almost 52, 53 percent completion rate this year.
42:55Last year, he was closer to 66, 67, something like that. Like, dude, balls off the mark. Like, I don't know what's going on. I mean, you've got also something to add at. 45:47There's great food, comfortable chairs, and attentive stewardesses. The stewardesses were so beautiful. But in reality, the stewardess job is far less glamorous than it appears. It was the most sexist job I think you could have. In this era, the airlines told these stewardesses they have to be single. They had no good excuse for why they wouldn't let women be married. They have to be skinny. We were starving ourselves. And they have to be young. You would retire at age 32. But one day, a group of stewardesses said, This has got to stop. They risked it all, turning a fight for fairness into a revolution.
46:39Listen to The Girlfriends, Flight or Fight, on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You're not incurable.

47:46With the offensive line, the offensive line is not protecting them as well as they used to. They're not protecting them as well. And some of that, like you said, the balls aren't being put where they're normally put. He's off on the spots of where the ball goes. I think another thing is he's getting pressured more. People found out last year, like, you pressure him, you can get places. And now you add that pressure, more pressure with the fact that the line is not blocking well. Then, yeah, you're going to have issues like that. And I think that's part of the issue of what's going on, why a lot of people think that, you know, LaFleur might be on a hot seat.
48:20You think he on a hot seat? I mean, yes.
48:24James Harrison:You got to, with Jordan Love, when you have a franchise quarterback like this, that you pay this amount of money that you expect and you see his resources and the offense is not playing well, like somebody, something has to be figured out. And when you say the offensive line, Debo, we talk about run game. Them dudes on getting rushed on and getting ran, like not being able to run and getting ran on is both the worst I've ever seen. You run for 17 yards and you give up 256 yards. Like that is at the same force. Jordan Love, things got to happen. You got to put the ball in the spots, but you can't be out there running for eight carries and 17 yards.
49:07James Harrison:That's just that that's terrible. Yeah, I don't. I ain't going to say he on the hot seat. The only reason I ain't going to say he on the hot seat is because this is the only reason. They just gave him an extension in January. I say it's warming up. It ain't hot yet. Yeah, it's warming up. And it ain't got nothing to do. Well, it got something to do with these last three games. But I think it's the rollover from last year to this year where the last eight games, they went one and seven. And then now you start, you know, one and two. So over your last 11 games, you're two and nine. And it's not going in the direction that you go and, you know, you sign a guy and give him an extension.
49:57But again, you gave him an extension in January. So the seed is warming up. I don't see it being on fire unless this continues for the rest of the year. then yeah it's going to get it's going to get hotter than hot that might be going to start blazing and they might just say you know what the hell with it we're going to have to we need to change the scenery or something like we need we need something else new up in here he might he might have to take a little reprieve well they passed the honeymoon phase oh yeah
50:30James Harrison:you know when you got your coach in there 11 years you got the franchise quarterback you've been playing with him for a couple of years what's the offense look like we need to see progression playoff wins, getting to the championship games. Like, once it started looking like this, like NFL, what are we doing? You had your couple of years, all right? What are we doing? Yeah. Yeah. I don't, you know, I don't know. I don't know, man. That's their problems, man. They look. And I'm glad they got them, D-Bo. Hey. Look, I'm going to just figure out. I'm here reporting the news, coach. Hey, no question, man.
51:03Steelers. We're going to report some news over here with the Steelers. Are we? Joey Porter Jr. Because contract talks old news and his focus is shifted to being 100 percent healthy and playing this season. Joe, let's do what he had to say. The last time we talked to you, the deadline for negotiating contracts has kind of come and gone. What was your emotion as that kind of came through and the extension didn't get done?
51:29James Harrison:It didn't get done. It didn't happen. That's that's really just old news for me now. is mainly just focus on what I got ahead of me and just really just getting back to 100%. Do you see yourself playing at some point, Joe? Yeah, definitely. Do you feel like... Look here, brother. What's up? What's up, Debo? My man is pointed in the right direction. He got the right mindset, Joe. What do you think, man? They asked him if he would be playing, and he said definitely. What do you think, Joe? Joey Porter Jr. is answering everything the exact way that he should. He's going about it the only way he can right now.
52:14James Harrison:It's the same way. It is what it is. So right now, he's basically working on being able to try to get back right. The Steelers have said what they said for the deal. So they don't negotiate during the season. So there's no point in him talking about that right now. He's old news because his emotions have been what it is. I'm where I'm at right now. We're going into week three, about to play the Bengals. I'm trying to get my conditioning right, working on making sure that my back, you know what I'm saying, doesn't have any flare-ups, working with the team, I'm getting warming up, trying to get right into it.
52:47James Harrison:So we're going to see what happens. All right? And that's how he's going about it right now. Yeah. I mean, Joe, I agree with you. This is what it should be, you know. So, like you said, yes, definitely sees himself as, you know, playing at some point. For sure. Do you think it's going to, you know, be this year? I don't know. It is what it is. I am not in my brother's back. I hope he feels up and he's able to get out there and play. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? I hope he can be out there and he feels healthy and he can go out there and play. but you know we are where we are right now so we'll see if he can get out there I hope he has to get healthy first has to get healthy first and that's what I'm saying you can't tell another man when his body is ready that's why I'm not in his back I'm not his back yeah like back tricky bro back is so tricky and when you look at it like they can say whatever they want to say or like it was a thing out that you know they may start to find him or whatever because they say he's healthy and you know I guess it's supposed to be a back specialist or whatever.
53:57All that other stuff. It don't really matter. The Steelers, when they first started this thing, they put him on the putt list. They put him on the putt list all offseason. Yes. Okay. And now, because the season has started, it looks like you're trying to say, oh, he's healthy and you want him to go now. When all offseason, you said he was hurt. Yes. that's not going to work. You can't force somebody to go that's not going to go. And if at some point they decide that he's ready and he's not ready, then they may choose to find him. And if they choose to find him, at that point, it becomes a NFL versus NFLPA issue and a violation of CBA because you can't find a player that is hurt.
54:48James Harrison:Or if they can't find him, well, could they put him on IR? Now, that is something that could happen. Because it's like, oh man, if it keeps going and he keeps saying, oh man, you know what I'm saying, my back end, he can't do it. And then they're like, okay, this might be more serious than it is then. So could the Steelers then possibly try to IR them? I'm just asking. I feel like I'm doing what you would do normally. You know what I'm saying? I'm just throwing out scenarios, talking about it. You know what I'm saying? We don't wish. We're just saying. All right, we're throwing out scenarios. Here's the scenario.
55:26I'm nephew. Yes. They don't negotiate in the season. I'm saying it's 3.9. Supposedly, the guarantee was 33. And the total for next year was 27. I just decided that's not it. It wasn't enough for me. Cool. So I have to stand where I'm at, and I got to sit on my guns. is in no way in hell or heaven that I am stepping on that field at 3.9 and that's it and taking the chance of getting hurt and I'm going to have some health issues that flare up like that's just what's going to happen and I'm not going to be able to play now as you said can they IR him at some point which i believe will be whenever they cross that timeline of being able to trade him and get whatever value that is that they think they're deserving of for him and they either can't get it or no whatever that is it doesn't happen now that is a point where they are now like yo what is our recourse what can we do well the only thing we can do is iron now we iron him and we've never refined and we went along with the fact that you're hurt and your back is is is the issue then yeah we ir you to return or we just ir you period end of the year now since i'm iring you because you aren't physically able to perform i want to be a good owner i want to be a good person i'm a franchise you instead of you having to go out there with a whole year not under your belt I'm a franchising and I'm gonna get you 23 no matter what but if you go and you sit out now I don't know what the chance I don't know anybody that set out two years yeah on a either health issue like that or a dispute and got back in at the same level of play that they left at.
57:44So now that's going to be their recourse. So now I'm sitting back here. I'm back over to the player. And I'm like, holy snap. They just franchised me. What am I going to do? Well, you franchise. You got no choice but to either play or sit. And now you're sitting on a year. You're sitting on a year at 23. And here's the crazy thing. They can franchise you again the next year. home. So now you sitting on this year at 23, you have to make a choice to play or not to play. If it's me, I have no choice but to play. The reason I have no choice but to play is I can't sit out another year and think that I'm going to get a dime.
58:28Now, if I knew going into it, I had a crystal ball and I could see that this would be the outcome at the end of it. Somebody said, Hey, here, this is what's going to happen. And I know this is what's going to happen. I would took whatever the hell they gave me and then ran with it but you don't have that you don't know that and you're thinking that yo I'm gonna get a trade it's gonna be a switch out it's a value there for me that is going to be reasonable enough that somebody else will pay it so I can get out of here and go get paid somewhere else and it's not and it like that's that's not what has happened so far at least so until that that happens and we find out what it is that the Steelers actually want because I'm like I'm a two anybody give up a two but they say that's not the value that they're putting on him they want they probably want a one with something else or at least a one and I don't know who is willing to give a one and plus or whatever that may be because it hasn't happen yet yeah but you don't want to pay him but the value is this so how do they get their value back if you end up sitting out so long and then i have to ir you just to get a spot open so i can get somebody else in here i gotta get some type of value from you i'm a i'm a i'm a i'm a franchise and if that's play that's play cool and if it's not it could be in the value of a trade but i as as you sit out a whole year your trade value lowers too so now you're stuck playing for a year at 23 because it didn't pan out the way you thought it was go pan out and at the end of it they have the power so even if they were to get say i wanted to be an asshole i wanted to be a straight up asshole i'm like yo you don't want to play for me at the price i want to give you this This is what I'm going to do.
1:00:23I'm not going to trade you to nobody because I want five first rounds. And you go play for me next year for less than you would have made over this year and that next year, because I want to I want to be an asshole or I want to hold the power or whatever that may be. You're stuck. And then, like I said, then on top of that, I can franchise you again the next year for what is it, 25, 27. So now I get you for one, two, three years for less than what it would have been for two years if you got 27 a year.
1:01:06James Harrison:But that's my point, though, with the Steelers at the end of the day. We're talking about just Joey Porter Jr. If you value him at the$28 million a year and that's two years of just guaranteed money. I feel like if at 56 million was the number and the Steelers were able to put that out, and if there was a thing, they can put out 28 million average per year because that looks good for them. If you can put out the legitimate guaranteed number, if it was 56 million, Joey Porter Jr., I think you need to be able to take that, and I think that would be good. Steelers. Well, we know the number that was put out was 33.
1:01:42I know, but I'm saying, too, with the Steelers now, if that number was to come out,
1:01:47James Harrison:And I think that the Steelers, end of the day, if you have Joey Porter Jr. on your team, what is the problem with adding a little more guaranteed money? It's not in the average per year. He's going to be a Steeler for the next two seasons. So I don't feel like with Joey Porter having to budge on his guaranteed, I feel like if that's the thing, the Steelers should be able to 56 him. The first two years of his contract can be guaranteed and things will be a lot more simple. Because at the end of the day, he balled out. He did what he had to do. So everybody understands 28 is a good number. is the averages and the thing that's crazy.
1:02:19James Harrison:56 million guaranteed is not a crazy number also. There's going to be two years because when we say after this season is four, next year is 23, and they can tag him again for 27. That's$50 million after this season, after the four, that you're going to tag him. And if he's not still playing, you're going to pay him 21. And then he wouldn't be playing again. You'll pay him 23. Like, at the end of the day, if that's the numbers, and Joey Porter Jr. means that much to you, Steelers, we signed Washington for 42. We signed Nick Herbick. And I'm not counting other people's bread. I want our team to be the best.
1:02:50James Harrison:And I feel like Joey Porter is worth the 28, okay? You guys think so. And remember, Herbert was guaranteed 40-something. That's what I'm saying, 42. That's what I'm saying. So with the Steelers, just guarantee Joey Porter 56. And if you can put out 56 was the guarantee and Joey Porter doesn't take that, then I can be as a fan and as a Steelers fan and for Joey Porter like, look, it ain't going to be the highest, but you got 28 a year on average for these next four years. with 56 guarantee your first two years and let's go get it. That's not the guarantee. That's not the guarantee. I understand that that's not what it is.
1:03:23James Harrison:Now, if they can do that, now I may change my opinion. If they can do that, that's why I can change my, that's why I'm saying I can change my volume too. So if we're at 33 guarantee, Steelers, you can put it to 56 if that's what we have going. No difference in average per year because we're saying he's worth the same thing. If you're saying he's worth 28, Steelers, okay, I didn't say it. That's what the contract is saying. If you can do that for two years, that's$56 million guaranteed. Now, I think me, Debo, if Joey Putnam wants$80 or whatever, everybody else is doing$100, you can't do that here.
1:03:54James Harrison:Okay, maybe not here, but you could take the$56. I feel like we could stand on$56, and I'd be like, okay, you can go do this knowing you have those extra two years at the end of the contract. You can go ball. We can figure it out from there, but you're going to have$56 guaranteed. Steelers are saying you're going to be there. You're expecting to ball. then you're going to have those next two years on the back end where you're making 28 million dollars per year ball out we're talking about extension don't like you know i'm saying so you're you're taking care of they're taking care of if they expect you to be here for this long why are we fighting about a year of guaranteed money do you know what i'm saying like that's all that's the thing like if you do at 33 i'm fighting come on but 33 million i'm fighting Like you said, I ain't counting nobody else's money, but I'm going to be here for this.
1:04:40I'm not counting nobody else's money, but like, God damn, come on, guys.
1:04:43James Harrison:I can see 100 for Gonzalez, 100 for them, no. 56, the first two years of my contract guaranteed, we're talking 33. Come on, guys. It's like, that's just crazy. And y 'all expect me to be here. So give me that first two. So now if we say 56, I want him. 56, good. Debo's good. I think Steelers fans will be like this. Come on now, Joey Porter. And I think Joey Porter, but okay, that is way more reasonable. $4 million you were going to get this season or you're going to get that extension for no matter what. You're good. $56 is coming to you guaranteed. We're expecting you to make more. Obviously, you're going to ball.
1:05:17James Harrison:You want to outplay the contract. You want to show that you are worth$33. You're worth resetting the market. So I'm like, now, Joey Porter, you got your guaranteed. Continue the ball. Go get it. They showed you that they're taking care of you. You got your first two years of guaranteed at$28. Let's go get it. Like I said, is that me? comes out, I highly doubt that leak will come out. That ain't a leak. I know, D-Bo, we know it ain't what has been offered. It's not what's out there. I'm just now, when we're talking about my man Joey Porter all the time, it's like I just want to try to put in solutions of what I would think makes sense and be like, come on, guys.
