3:55James Harrison:how you doing today Joe I am doing great brother Debo free agency live in effect a lot of people a lot of action. Things are happening as we speak right now, this very moment. So I'm loving this part of the offseason where you see what your team is talking about, what they're trying to do, who's trying to make moves. Are they good moves or bad moves? So I'm excited.

4:20Joe Haden:Oh, yeah, definitely, definitely do. So what we're going to do is we're going to miss the what do you call it? The chat. Yeah, we missed the super chats yesterday. So we're going to do them at the top we're gonna do yesterday's at the top at the end we're gonna do those at the top then we'll get to whatever else is in the lineup okay but uh right now we're gonna we're gonna get into the stillers man why is they still talking about we must get a quarterback to you know like it's not it's not happening in this draft Joe what what do you think what do you think uh see possibilities of anything happening I got a whole I got a whole set of what I think is going

4:57James Harrison:on dude this is what i'm saying when people start the panicking they're like oh no just because people are making moves with max crosby we gotta go and make a pick we quarterback who do sealers are i'm like look calm down calm down everybody relax since people are making moves you don't want to make a bad move if you do think at the end of the day i feel a lot of the stealers that they think malik willis is the guy they don't right no will howard i can respect that i can respect that thought. Do you know what I'm saying? But at the same time, there's no rush. We don't have to rush into these things.

5:32James Harrison:We still got, like we said, I believe in still thinking that we can give Will Howard a chance. Malik Willis is probably a more valuable option. He's showing what he can do in the league. He has valuable reps. He's won games with Green Bay. So I can see where they're coming from. But is that who Mike McCarthy likes? Does Mike McCarthy like Will? Does he not want to put that money there and be able to go do some other moves? How does he plan it? So you don't want us to panic when you start seeing things happen around the league. You're like, oh, my gosh, what are we doing? Are we just standing? No, no, no, no.

6:04James Harrison:Sometimes it's not the smartest move for them to make the quickest one. You know what I'm saying? So I'm not in a panic state. I still like Will. I understand Malik. If people don't like him, I'm not against it at all. He hasn't proven anything. He was a drafted pick. They put Mason in front of him like last year when why didn't they put him in? I can hear what everybody's saying. But for me, I'm rocking with Mike McCarthy. I'm rocking with Omar Khan. I'm letting them take their time and not just rush and make rash moves that they don't believe in. Right. You know what I'm saying? So I can see with teams making moves, whatever, it's early in free agency.

6:37James Harrison:You want to make a pop. You want your team to be going across the ticker. Like, oh, yeah, we did this. Okay, you could do that, and it could be bad, and the next thing you know, time will tell. So it's still early. It's still early in free agency. We still got time. We can still make moves. I just don't. I can see when some people want Malik and they will start panicking like, oh, yeah, let's go here and do this. But I'm in the I'm in the mind frame where don't rush. We still do got will, even though other people don't believe in it. I know we have money that we have other places that we need to do.

7:06James Harrison:We just released John News. So we're opening up bread. So we got things that we can do. So I'm still chilling. I would like our team to go across the ticket, too. I want to see the Steelers getting a linebacker. You know what I'm saying? I see we just signed Asante Samuel Jr. on the opposite side. Small. One year, four million. I like the way he played. He gets another year in the defense to be able to get comfortable. You know what I'm saying? Coming in midseason, you know, feet still, he still couldn't get comfortable. Now he got a complete offseason. He's on a prove-it deal. You know how those were?

7:33James Harrison:Oh, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Getting comfortable now. He knows he's trying to go get that bag. So I'm liking that. Little things like that is smooth under the radar, but we're just trying to get what we need. Don't rush and go do something. Oh, yeah, look who we got. We got this big name. It doesn't matter. There's a lot of names out there. But the dudes aren't just like, oh, yeah, this dude that have the prove it deals that might not be the dude that you know. But there's ballers out there that, you know what I'm saying, you could pick. That one, like little stuff like that. So that's why I'm at it.

8:02Joe Haden:Yeah, they need to stop panicking, man. Because we are not drafting a quarterback. We are not picking up a quarterback in free agency. Yes, it's definitely something that we need to address depending on how things look. Like you said, Willis, it's not going to happen. It's too many people after him. The money he go command is going to be out of control. And another reason is he's not signed yet. And I think it's a lot of people right now that's sitting back and they like, well, I ain't trying to give him the bag bag for this small sample of work. You know what I'm saying? So ain't nobody really jumping the gun to go and be like, yo, here, here it go.

8:42Joe Haden:And we already talked about the draft. There's nothing there. So that's that's out. It's just it's just not even happening there. and right now the big thing for me is like you said like what can will howard do he is a national champion we haven't given him a chance to either prove or disprove he can or can't do it and as you said with mike mccarthy he likes will howard dude he said he said himself he was like i really i'm really excited about will he said he said i'm really excited about will howard he said i'm anxious to get to work with him and he said he loves the way he plays the game and when he said that he was talking that he was pointing to how will played his best ball in the college playoffs so with him saying that about will he's definitely going to give him a chance yeah this year

9:34James Harrison:it's gonna be the end of speculations of can he do it and the good part was last year he was on the bench he was able to sit behind he was hurt too you don't have to that's why he didn't get a chance you don't have to rush nobody into it him being able to get the flow be able to not have to play his rookie season he's still the same dude like with a year under his belt now getting more comfortable so i would love to see him with a chance because he's a big body and he's done it

9:59Joe Haden:before yeah yeah and that's something else he's fully healthy now he fractured i think he fractured his hand last year and i believe that was what really you know kept him out of the flow of being able to you know fight for a spot and another thing is we're waiting on rogers dude like we're waiting on his decision he hasn't gave a hundred percent answer one way or the other dude and when you do that it's like okay we ain't making no moves because we're okay with where we're at so that makes that makes me believe that the stillers they're at a point where it's like okay we're content where we're at right now we're going to give will harrod a chance and we believe that the option rolls around and say it's not working out or it's not looking like it's going to work out that rogers will still be there because from his talking a lot of people believe it's it's pittsburgh or nowhere yeah i'm saying yes right and it's not like it's a bunch of other teams out there that's that's looking to you know grab him right now anyway yeah yeah so we we still have that option our next thing is like everybody's saying right down here in chat is like a receiver yes we're looking at the receiver position and when you look at it you know they were talking about uh the possibility of um the best uh guys around um available and it was two guys that i liked that was in that in that uh in that talk and i think it was alec pierce that was one yes and the other one was uh wandel uh robinson and the reason i like i like pierce is i think we can get for a good price.

11:31Joe Haden:Like, he has a little issue with, like, separation, you know, just at the line, getting off, you know, bump coverage. His routes aren't really as sharp as they would like to be, but dude, he ran a 4-4-1. Yeah. You might as well say that's a 4-3 game speed. Boy, 6-3, almost 215. I know. He got 47 catches last year and still had over 1 ,000 yards, Joe. Yes, definitely. That's 21 and some change. Mm-hmm. That's real, like, deep threat. 40-inch burglary. 40-plus inch vertical, dude. Ball skills is nice. He's a high-point catcher. He's going up to get the ball. He tracks the ball well. He's coming down with the 50-50 almost 70%, 80 % of the time.

12:14And, Joe, he can block.

12:17James Harrison:The boys like to get physical. See, I like Alec Pierce. I like him. When they were talking about the trade for Michael Pittman Jr., I was like, I like Alec Pierce just a little more, and he's going to be a free agent. So that one, a thousand percent you're saying. I like Wondell Robinson too as a possession receiver. You can get open. You know what I'm saying? That's a guarantee we need that. But I'm also a fan of Romeo Dobbs. Romeo Dobbs is a get it done dude. He does all of the dirty work. He blocks. He catches. He doesn't make a lot of noise, but he goes out there and gets it done. So I think he's one that we could be able to get for the low too at prove it deals, still going out there grinding.

12:57James Harrison:and he's a great receiver that he's a little older too though though he's a little older but i just he's still getting it done route running and it's for the and it's not going to be as expensive as some of these other dudes so i like romeo dobbs i like wandel robinson for sure slide and uh alec pierce or any of those three will be a will be a will be a nice add to the to the roster yeah

13:19Joe Haden:definitely wandel robinson that's a that's that's a yak machine i think he only like five seven five eight, something like that. But hey, he almost heavy as you. Well, I don't know how much you weigh no more, Joe. He 185. You know what I'm saying? That's the man. Yeah, we saying weight. We saying weight. We saying weight. Like I said, he effective, man. Like you said, the short route. He got that quick in and out. He go hit you on them whips and them options, that quick slam game. You know what I'm saying? He dangerous once he get it in his hands.

13:46James Harrison:Yes. Like we had, what's my man? Like we had the receiver that came to us last year from Minnesota. Thielen. Okay. Yeah. Yes. Young Thielen. Get it done. Third down. Possession receiver.

14:00Joe Haden:Yeah. And listen. Something else I want these people to get out of their head. What? We ain't trading T.J. Watt. He ain't going nowhere, man. He ain't going nowhere. No. That's not the way they do business. That ain't the way they do business. It's not going to happen. But you know me, Joe. I like to ask questions And give speculations With that being said Again T.J. Watt ain't going nowhere That's just media Analyst speculation It ain't happening Man just signed a three year deal 123 million 108 guaranteed Just last July We got 50 million dollars in cash space So we ain't got no money issues I know his numbers down All that other stuff That don't count because you're not looking at the stats that don't have numbers to them that he adds to, which allows other people to be able to do what they do.

15:01Joe Haden:And the first person's a joke.

15:04James Harrison:And he's out because he got punctured lung from the in-house. He didn't do anything wrong. So he's just keeping it cool. You know what I'm saying? So now let him heal from that. When he's on the field, numbers, everything. He just was out because he had a punctured lung. It's not his bad.

15:20Joe Haden:let him get right okay so now joe yes now they came to you and they said hey we want tj we're gonna give you two first

20:25Joe Haden:you want to entertain what you got to entertain you talking about I mean I love TJ but you talking about two of them and he you know he ain't young no more I think TJ what 31 32 something like that coming up on that like that right there

20:43James Harrison:yes it pains me to say it but like we said before we preface our comments by saying TJ's not going nowhere, but two firsts, you want to check and see the temperature at the same time. The crazy part is too, once you get to that second and that third contract, when they're looking at it, they don't care about the number, say it was seven and a half sacks last year. They don't care about why he was missing games because he was injured. You know what I'm saying? We don't care about the punctured lung. Seven and a half sacks doesn't look like double digits in what he's done for the last five years in a row.

21:18James Harrison:when you're making 35,$40 million a year, it is literally, what have you done for me lately? Like, what have you done for me last season? You know what I'm saying? Like, there's no load time. Like, you're getting paid 40. You should be showing me$40 million worth of work every season, every game, every snap. So that's how names even get put into there. But when you're looking at like TJ's, his production has 115 sacks so far in his career. Okay. That's okay. The numbers are speaking for themselves. Seven and a half last season, because he was hurt, but names like TJ Watts, the best players that do it at this level, two first-round picks, all right, okay, he's 31.

21:57James Harrison:I mean, okay, you do kind of – it sounds – it's intriguing. But, like, yeah, I would – I don't think TJ's going anywhere to steal this. I don't think they do business like that. But like you said, if they talking two first-round picks, you got to ask. And you're going to answer the call to see what you're talking about.

22:15Joe Haden:Yeah, speaking of two first-round picks, the damn Ravens went and got Max Crosby from the Raiders, dude. Two first rounds, picking 26, picking 27. Man, the dude done had, what is it, 69 and a half sacks since 2019. that's double what the actual baltimore's top uh sacker did in that same time span he only had 30 i think it was the d tackle he's also a d tackle though so you got to look at that that's that's still that's still impressive you know it comes down to it so when you look at it like over the last what is it one two five years baltimore has blown nfl worst 16 leads in the final minutes of a game five five or more than any other team and last season they blew two of them in the fourth quarter one by 15 with four minutes left and one by 11 in the fourth quarter bro with them getting max crosby brother do you think this makes them real contenders and he'll be able to put a fire out to the inability for them to finish games in the fourth quarter?

Read the full transcript

23:41James Harrison:I think it's a big time help. I don't think it's the main thing. I think they still got to do a little bit more on that defense, you know, but adding Max Crosby just shows into the day, the Ravens know they have their franchise quarterback. They have Lamar Jackson. They haven't been able to even make it to the Super Bowl. So these big moves for these type teams, like they don't have time to go try to get that first round pick that might pan out. No, let's go get a Max Crosby that we know he's going to come here. He's going to add to the defense. He brings the energy. He wants to win. This is the type of player that we can bring here.

24:16James Harrison:He's going to be a leader of the defense. He's going to add to the safety that we got, our linebacker, to the core. You know what I'm saying? So with me, I'm rocking with the Ravens because they're like their windows closing we got lamar jackson he's not getting any younger we need to turn this up like we can go get this baller them first round picks in the future i don't know we don't expect to be picking high in the first round anyway let's go get a guaranteed certified baller that can go make something happen for our team so for the ravens i'm i understand why they would do it because they're they're going all in we got to perform we know he's going to be here for a couple of years we got a legitimate dn we haven't been able we haven't rushed to pass it really well we need to be able to get after the quarterback he can close the games for us so for me i think that they they made a good move they know they have a couple more moves to make but this is a move that teams that feel like they need a couple of pieces make when they feel like that this is

25:10Joe Haden:what we got to do to to start winning so joe yes what i like about this is this move puts Baltimore at about$10 million in cap space. So there's going to need to be some restructuring. You go for the top, I think it was 10 guys, Lamar Jackson. Yes. Hitting the cap for 74-5. Yep. Followed by Smith, Rochon Smith, 32-7. Yep. The DN, 31. Crosby now, 30.6. Humphrey, 26.3. the tackle round standing 24.1 and then Kyle Hamilton they don't know where that's at it's 10 it's between 10 and 26 depending on how his bonus accounting is Derrick Henry 16-3 Travis Jones 16-3 and Mark Andrews 14-7 well they got 65 percent of their cap taken by five players.

26:13Joe Haden:Lamar Jackson is 25 % alone, and they seem to be beefing, okay? And along with that, it's about four or five starters that are real-life free agents. So, I don't know how much you've helped yourself here, because you got a lot going on. But, they're your problems,

26:33James Harrison:and I'm glad y 'all got them. I don't think they're two bigger problems, though, man. They're going to just have to do some restructuring.

26:41Joe Haden:The man already said something goofy about Lamar not being there in camp as soon as the OC, as soon as he got there. What are you talking about? You forgot about that? I don't forget about that. He don't forget about that. What are you talking about? I ain't even talked to the man yet, Joe.

26:57James Harrison:Yeah, that's not good. That's not good. Joe. They going to figure it out. Because Lamar has to go there. He has to end up performing. Lamar's going to ball. That's the thing. He's going to come there and go perform regardless. So if you don't like him, whatever, whatever, they're showing they came to go get Max Carlsby. They're trying to get the defense right. You know, if he didn't show up to the OTAs, that's not a good look. That's problems that we definitely hope that they're having. But he didn't.

27:28Joe Haden:He ain't been showing up to it. We talking about that's what he do. You know what I'm saying? He got to be out training, doing what he do. Now you got the new dude coming here. And he talking about you ain't doing enough. You just go come in here and just start throwing accusations around?

27:43James Harrison:How you go through that? You talking about the coach? The OC that got in there, man. What are you talking about? It's not accusations. He said that he wanted him to be in there.

27:54Joe Haden:He didn't say he wanted him to be in there. He said if somebody wants to win, they need to do this and do that. And it's all the stuff Lamar, I guess, was accustomed to not going to. So why don't you just say his name? He don't want to go that far. No, no, no, no. So he just wants to speak some demos. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, man. You know, Max had this. Max got on over there before he left, though. He had to say goodbye to Raider Nation. We got the sound. Listen to this, man.

28:25James Harrison:Ever since I've been here, man, I've had one goal and one mission. That's become the best version of myself and help bring a championship back to the Raider organization. and I feel like I left, you know, everything I had on the table for this team. I've given my heart and soul, and I feel like I let y 'all down, man. Ever since day one, I've wanted to create and build a winner with the Raiders.

28:57Joe Haden:Yo, yes. I think the man is sad to go.

29:02James Harrison:so happy he done got out of there. I think he's sad to go. I think he's sad to go. I think honestly, I mean, no, he's sad to go because of the city. The same way. He wanted to go there and legitimately think he could make a winner in Vegas. Fans got behind him. He genuinely thought he could do it. When you're that good of a player, you think wherever you go, you can bring a team, but it's more than just you. You can only do your 111th. You got tackles, guards, you got coaches, you got GMs. There's a bigger thing than just you being able to bring a championship to a team. And that's the part where he's like, yo, when I come in here, he genuinely probably thought, we're going to grow the team here, the core that we got, all these guys, we're going to make something happen.

29:45James Harrison:No. You know what I'm saying? So it's genuine sadness like, man, I really thought I could bring a championship here. Like I tried my hardest. And then last season when they're blatantly, you're saying I can play, and they're holding you out of games. When you're like, they don't want to win. Like, I'm sorry to the Raiders nation. I wanted to bring a championship here, but it wasn't in the same cahoots of the Raiders nation of the managers and the people of the above, the higher-ups. They had a different plan. You saying Tom Brady ain't want to win? I mean, right. I think that maybe, yes, looking at it like the same way basketball.

30:19James Harrison:If we ain't going to make the playoffs, we might as well tank had a best-case scenario to get the highest draft pick. Like, something I think they might be doing that. If your best player says he can play and it's good to play, you're like, no, no, no. Just go ahead. Rest it out. We're going to call it the season. Then that's showing that you don't want to win because your best player on defense will probably help you win the game. He wants to go win. He doesn't want to go lose. So you hold him out like, no, no. Rest that ankle. You know what I'm saying? So that is possibly what was happening.

30:48James Harrison:And when Max is looking at it like, we're organizationally not on the same path. I know Raiders fans. Y 'all wanted to win. I wanted to win. But I'm sorry. I got to go elsewhere. Got me up out of here. You know what I'm saying? Sorry I couldn't bring all the championship. Genuinely, I wanted to. I think that's what it was like.

31:06Joe Haden:Okay. Okay, man. Listen, I'm not happy about him leaving. I kind of wish he had stayed, at least went to the Cowboys because I don't like the fact that we got a scene twice a year. that's what I don't like for them as a Ravens fan I like it, I love it but my reaction is nothing compared to Jamar Chase's reaction listen to this Joe just fucking texted me Ravens traded for Max Crosby no fucking shit no fucking shit no fucking shit brother I'm fucking highly pissed right now. Oh my god

32:01Joe Haden:Fucking how the fuck do we let this nigga go to the fucking division bro. Oh My god bro why the fuck do you let this nigga go to the division bro

32:17Joe Haden:oh my god hey hey oh bro listen you heard what he said yes bro text him bro i got these three monsters over here man i gotta see twice a year now loading up on me tj and now y 'all done brought cross Crosby over here.

32:40James Harrison:Bruh. That's the sound of a man that's like, he's genuinely pissed. He's genuinely pissed. He wants his team to win. When you see that and you're on the squad and you know, end of the division, they bringing in, players know, they're like, Max Crosby's a dog. And Joe Burrow texting him because he know T.J. Watt hitting him upside the head. Look at him. That's not a zen. He's trying to be zen. He's trying to be zen. He doesn't feel zen. He doesn't feel safe. I don't feel safe for him. Hey. That's just, you know what I'm saying?

33:17Joe Haden:Joe.

33:18James Harrison:Let me talk to Joe. Joe Burrow.

33:22Joe Haden:He needs to buy them boys a morning golf course. Oh, see, listen. I got my camera. I'm on my phone right now. See, I ain't got no internet service. You know what I'm saying? So I'm on my phone right now, people. That's why it's kind of iffy, iffy. So the camera. Oh, no. The camera's right here. Okay, so the camera's right there. Hey, Joe. Yes. Joe, let's talk to Joe Burrow. Joe, come on over here to the Steelers, man. We can protect you. We will protect you at all costs. All costs. You come on over here. We're going to make sure your blind side is protected. We will go out there and spend and spend to make sure you are okay.

34:04Joe Haden:It's never too late. To come on over here. I hear. I see. I feel your concern. Just from how you called your partner. Like, hey. You know what they done did? They done went and got this monster. And they done let him go over there. They done sent him over there.

34:27James Harrison:Yep.

34:28Joe Haden:Joe. Joe. Hello. Come on.

34:31James Harrison:Come on. Tell him. Open arms. Open arms. Welcomed.

34:39Joe Haden:Embrace you, my brother.

34:40James Harrison:Embrace Joe Burrow. Now, when you talk about Joe Burrow, that's when you definitely answer the phone for anybody. Anybody could go. I don't care. Anyone could go for Joe. What y 'all want? What you want? Tell us. What you want? The phone line is open. Joe just need to get disgruntled. Tell him he want to get out of there.

35:11Joe Haden:Yeah. Omar Khan. Omar, what's up, buddy?

35:15James Harrison:But the only way, though, bro, they not lying. We got to do a double deal.

35:22Joe Haden:Okay.

35:23James Harrison:It got to be a double deal.

35:25Joe Haden:We on right now, but me and Joe talking to Joe Burrow right now. So what we going to do is we going to get right. Yeah, I'm going to get back to you after we get through with the show, though. Believe me, I'm going to get in there.

35:38James Harrison:I'm going to go ahead and make rewind as well. Bump it. If this ain't tampering, I don't care. If we could do it, but we have to bring... You know what, though? He's not leaving Jamar Chase. Jamar! That's why I said we got to do a WD. We can look past the nasty shit you did. We got to do a WD. Everything can be forgiven. Listen. Everything could be forgiven. Hey. See, I'm giving. That's a lot to go.

36:10Joe Haden:Joe, hey. Everything, Lord forgives, man. How am I not going to be able to forgive? How many first-round picks do we have? What they want, give it. Give them all. We don't need none for the next five, six years. Give them here. Yeah. There you go. Yep.

36:32James Harrison:Joe. No, for sure. Yeah, I'm dressing that up however they want it.

36:39Joe Haden:I'm telling you, brother. Things are feeling a little less human these days, aren't they? But isn't the whole point of progress to make things more human?

40:26Joe Haden:Oh, wait, I'm telling you. But you know what? It was one place they wouldn't go send Crosby. Tom said, ain't no way. We ain't sending them over there to Patriots. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, The Patriots reportedly wanted Max Crosby in the offseason, but Tom said he wasn't having it. He was not having it. I guess a follower spoke to someone involved in the Crosby trade and, quote, no way Tom was sending Max to Vrabel. Joe. Yes. Should the Raiders be worried about Tom Brady's ties to the Patriots and how it could affect business decisions, Joe?

41:14James Harrison:I would only say if they were willing to offer them two first-round picks and he was still like no, then no. If he's going against the best deal against his personal relationships, yes. If New England's trying to get over with a friendly deal, like, yeah, I'll give you a first and a fifth for Max. and he's like this, no, I'm not sending them to New England. Completely justified. But if you like, they sending you two first rounds and you're like this, no, I'm sending them over here for a first and a second. Y 'all got me fucked up. Like, I'm not helping y 'all. Right. Then that's when it's like, no, no, Tom.

41:53James Harrison:Come on, man. Tighten up, brother. Do we want to -

41:55Joe Haden:So you think it wasn't a first and a first. You thinking it was just a first and something else.

42:03James Harrison:I think that it was maybe, it had to be a worse deal. Because I'm not in the mind frame to think that Tom is going to do that. But look, look, look. I don't know what they offered. Let me find out what they offered them. And if it was a first and a first and he was still laughing in their faces, then the Raiders need to be concerned. Well, okay.

42:25Joe Haden:But Joe, you know me. I like to stir it up a little bit, Joe. now I'm going to say if both deals were equal then yes maybe that's a good decision but if both deals were not equal and they could have got maybe a little pinch more over here with the Patriots I'm going to tell you what I think may have happened this is just a hypothetical conspiracy I think this is what happened Tom said hell no I'm not sending him over there and giving them a rusher like that after they done already went to the Super Bowl and if they had him they would have had a damn good chance of winning it and y 'all got this young quarterback over there that's doing it being compared to me I can't have him up there about to go ahead and be erasing my legacy as a patriot it's a little bit of maybe

43:32James Harrison:self-preservation. That's what I think, Joe. I think you could be right. I think you could definitely be right. I think because Tom Brady, I mean, he could be like, no, I won the seven there. I'm not trying to get him this. I'm not trying to clip all they were. They were in the ship. If I get him max, then they're automatically going to be right back. Yeah. I mean, I can understand exactly what you're saying. and I think that he could be have a little you never know Tom Brady could have had a hate in his heart well like man no I don't want the Patriots to be good

44:05Joe Haden:well you know it ain't it ain't so much hate as it is preserving your legacy Joe

44:12James Harrison:preserving your his legacy is preserved he's Tom Brady he don't know

44:17Joe Haden:this man got he on year two and he done went there

44:21James Harrison:he lost the ship Buddy did not win one ship yet and he had he ain't didn't He got seven total. I can see if he started doing this after Buddy won two. Listen. Let him win two. And then you start trying to preserve. No, you can't give him a shot, Joe.

44:37Joe Haden:You can't give him no head start. You can't give him a, you give him what he gave him, man. You put him right there where he'm at. It ain't hating.

44:45James Harrison:It's preserving your legacy, Joe. He think he's the competitor. Take the best. I think he took, I think the deal was less. I think he would have took the best. I want to find out.

44:55Joe Haden:Somebody that got some inside information. I want to find out how much better the deal was that he took from Baltimore.

45:03James Harrison:And then even if it was the same deal, I'm still with him going. You could definitely send him to the other team, for sure. Oh, yeah.

45:11Joe Haden:Yeah, for sure. I'm with that. But, you know, I think now I think about it, they might have been like, yeah, you know what? He going to help us out. The hell he is. He going to give us a play a deal. You know what I'm saying? His legacy here, man. You want to see us win? The hell he do?

45:27James Harrison:No, the hell he don't.

45:28Joe Haden:He want to see y 'all go down in the dirt.

45:30James Harrison:Yes, he wants to flip the Raiders. Go down in flames. He want the Raiders to win the ship before the Patriots win the ship. No question. No question. Y 'all ain't giving me ownership over there? No. That's Kraft. That's Kraft. He don't need no other owners. But him and Kraft got a good relationship, man. You think you're going to let him get a piece, though? A great relationship, but you're going to let him get a piece of the Patriots? I don't know how friendly, how much of a friend he is.

45:57Joe Haden:I guess he don't really love me like he say he do. If you love me, you got to show me. You got to show me. Show me. Show me? How much for 5 % of New England? Joe, man, listen here, brother. They said, you know, your browns over there, they said they might have some drama going on over there. No drama. They haven't, I don't know, dude, they haven't been able to get a hold of Miles Garrett. They said since, was it Monk and Guy Hired? I think maybe he was just driving too fast. The signal couldn't catch up to him and his phone wasn't working or something. Or maybe, I don't know. I mean, he was at the Olympics too.

46:33Joe Haden:He was supporting his girlfriend. So he might have had bad service. You know what I'm saying? And now the DC, Mike Rutenberg, they asked him, you know, had you heard from Miles yet? And he said, we haven't spoke face to face. We've both been traveling a lot. And I cannot wait to meet. I cannot wait to meet him. and learn from him. Obviously, amazing as obviously, amazingly, as much as what utmost respect for him as a player and all the great things I've heard about him as a person. So. Yes. How hard is it to make a phone call, Joe? Hey, TJ Watt then talk to his D coordinator. T.J. Watt then had conversations with his D coordinator.

47:28James Harrison:Bro, it is literally offseason.

47:34Joe Haden:So there is no issue, Joe, that he hasn't even talked to the D.C. one time yet.

47:40James Harrison:You know why? He's Miles Garrett. He's going to be there on time, ready to perform. Like, what we going to talk about? What we going to talk about right now during the offseason? I understand. You got your draft stuff.

47:53Joe Haden:How you know he ain't going to change the whole defense? It don't even matter.

47:57James Harrison:When Miles gets there, what you going to do? He knows how to get after the passer. All defenses, you need a Miles. That's crazy, Joe. It's going to fit wherever. And Miles is going to be there in April, and it's going to come in there. He's going to be there. He's going to be a leader. I just don't get it. All that. Don't be putting that.

48:14Joe Haden:Hey, do y 'all hear how much Joe is a Browns fan? He doesn't even want to say anything is possible for there to be any negative consequences from them. This is crazy.

48:28James Harrison:I'm just saying we got enough drama already. That's really. Please do me a favor and take those to make up fake drama of your office. Huh?

48:39Joe Haden:This is real drama, Joe. This is not real drama.

48:43James Harrison:This is this is OK.

48:45Joe Haden:But Lamar's OC saying something ain't real drama, but him not even talking to the man ain't real drama, even though he's been trying to get a hold of him.

48:54James Harrison:He didn't say he was trying to get a hold of him. He didn't say that he was leaving more red. I'm reading in between the lines. No, you're adding lies. You're adding lies. He didn't reach out to Miles. Miles ain't reached out to him because he's trying to figure out everything else. He knows one thing. When OTAs and all that come, Miles Garrett is going to be the starting defensive end for he needs to be figuring out his plan and how he's going to do Miles. Miles is going to be there. Don't trip. Miles is getting his 40. Miles is going to be there. And Miles is going to come. Maybe Miles is going to be like that 40 ain't enough no more, man.

49:28James Harrison:After what y 'all did. Nope. I need 50. Nope. He good. He good. He still got another year until he get to negotiating again. Miles is going to just chill. Do what he got to do. Off season. He's enjoying it after 23 and a half. You don't got to see it, Miles. come back right there in April. He still got a couple days, a couple weeks, two, three weeks. That's crazy.

49:49Joe Haden:He just got a ticket, though, not even two weeks ago, but he still couldn't... In Cleveland. He was trying to get to the airport.

49:57James Harrison:He was trying to get to the airport. To go... At least he could have said he was trying to get to the X Games.

50:03Joe Haden:To go talk to him. Like, the man... Listen. Okay, Joe.

50:09James Harrison:Miles came to the room. Miles came to the room. All right. Look, for real, he could at the end of the day. A phone call isn't hard. And being a text. Hey, how you doing?

50:21Joe Haden:This is Miles, man. Nice to e-meet you. Text meet you, man. Do-do-do. I get a hold of you when my schedule get a little bit lighter. You know what I'm saying? Like, anything, Joe.

50:39Joe Haden:Am I off or are you off, Joe? Look like we done lost Joe, y 'all. So now it is the Devo show. I've been waiting on this. I've been waiting on this the whole time. I ain't going to even lie to y 'all. Damn it, is he coming back?

50:58Joe Haden:This is the Devo show. Look here, man. So what we're going to do is we're going to get into a little bit of other news here, man. We got a big signing over here with Philly, man. they done signed jordan davis to a huge contract over here man let's check this out right here he just signed a extension it's in a three-year extension actually 70 what is that 76 million dollars 78 million dollars he just signed a 78 million dollar extension that makes him the highest paid nose tackle in NFL history. He got$65 million guaranteed.

51:47Joe Haden:2022, what was he, the 13th pick? He was going into his fifth year. That was$13 million for his fifth-year option, obviously, that they had picked up. this right here is one of those things, man, that I love to see, man. I like to see dudes breaking records, getting more money and more money. They had no choice, to be honest with you. The dude is just a straight-up monster when you look at him, especially his ability in a run game. There's no way that you're going to be able to stop him. No. Hey, cut Joe out. There's no way you're going to be able to stop him. My Wi-Fi snapped out. The man runs a 4-7-8 in the 40.

52:35Joe Haden:Him and Joe usually run the same time. 341 pounds. The man is 6 '6". He's big. He's strong. My Wi-Fi went out. You know, running the ball, you're going to need at least two to block him. Passing the ball, you're going to need at least two to block him. You cannot stop him with one. He's going to collapse your pocket. Y 'all tell me when Joe get back. And when that happens, the quarterback cannot throw the ball, man. Who are you talking about? Yes, they better have paid that man good money. Who are you talking about? Because if they didn't, it would have been some smoke in the city. They had to do what they had to do.

53:12Joe Haden:You understand? That's what you do. You make yourself unable to be let go. And they got to pay you more and more. And that's how you do it. You hear me, people? I hear y 'all in the chat. Yes, Joe got some BS internet. That is right. And he don't pay his bills. Right in the middle of the miles talk. That just cut off. Oh, it just cut off right in the middle. Oh, Joe back. Oh, there he is. Yeah, I'm here. It cut off in the middle of the miles. I'm here. See, I was informing the people about Jordan Davis. His three-year extension, 78 million. The man becomes the highest paid nose tackle in NFL history.

53:54Joe Haden:That's how you do it. Dude, that dude is a monster, brother. Yes. Huge. Two. You need two at all times. You ain't moving him with one. No. You ain't moving him with one. That's what. Freeing up my linebackers, dude. That's freeing up my linebackers. That's what you need. Mm-hmm.
