2:54James Harrison:I'm doing great, Brother Debo. Beautiful Friday. Kids went off to school. They're excited. We got the good weekend coming up. Free agency coming up. I'm excited to see what people going to do.
3:05Joe Haden:Definitely, definitely. Let's go ahead and jump into that thing real fast because it's a prediction out here that it's going to be a blockbuster trade for Michael Pittman coming over here, Michael Pittman Jr. coming over to the Steelers to help put a tandem together with DK. What do you think of that, dude?
3:25James Harrison:I like it. I like Michael Pittman Jr. I know that we're going to need another receiver. My main guy that I would like, I think people are sleeping on my dude. I like Rasheed. I like Rasheed. What's my man's name? Rasheed Taheed, the receiver from the Seahawks. I think that if we can get him, he's one of my sleeper picks at wide receiver because I think he's a dog receiver that people are looking around 13 to 15 million. He's a sneaky dude and special teams. I think he would help out our special teams big time in the kickoff return game and the punt return game along with his receiver skills. So I like him.
4:04James Harrison:I'm interested in Michael Pittman Jr. I think that he's good. I know he's coming off a three for 70 million. Him along with DK, I think both of those dudes, though, like, he's not a real number one to me. You know what I'm saying? I don't think he's like, put him over there, put him at X, get open, he can get it done. Really, really good receiver. I love him as a number two, but I think that's two number twos that we got. Legit. It's definitely an upgrade, but I don't think he's going to be the complete answer. You feel DK is a number two? I feel like DK is a number two. A strong number two.
4:37Joe Haden:Okay.
4:38James Harrison:A strong number two.
4:39Joe Haden:I guess everybody.
4:41James Harrison:Everybody got their right to their own opinion. I think number one is somebody that you can just put over there. There's not too many real legit ones in the league that you can go put over there at the X that no matter what, going to get it done. Do you know what I'm saying? Like Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson. Those are the two legit ones. Like those best in the league. But I don't put DK in that category right now.
5:02Joe Haden:Why wouldn't you put him in that category?
5:04James Harrison:Because of last year or you sell his whole body of work? Why would you? Not at all body work. Just from last year and dropping passes, I don't – he could be. He's been the number one in his career before. I just didn't see it last year. And with him dropping those balls, I need you to be able to go over there, and I depend on you no matter what. You're going to get the job done. He didn't do it. I think he has it in his bag. If we get Pittman here, we'll help him out, get some pressure off of him. But I think that neither one of them dudes are legitimate ones. in my opinion.
5:39Joe Haden:Okay, understandable, understandable. Yeah, I don't know, like, who predicted this or whatever it is. Michael Pittman Jr., like you said, you know, I like it, but for me, I don't like it at, what is it,$29 million they would be giving him or fitting in to, you know, it is that he he's he will be making next year and then you know along with that you got like you said he's he's not a real real number one he's a legit two um that's how i feel about about him about michael pittman jr and when you look at it like big body was he 6 '4 225 so he's a guy that you know uses his size to his advantage you know uses his body to get in the way so he can you You know, catch the ball.
6:31Joe Haden:He attacks the ball. So he's real quarterback friendly. You know, he's actually making himself more available to be able to get down there. So you don't have guys cutting in front of the ball and, you know, knocking down passes or intercepting passes. And again, like a big thing is he ain't got that separate speed. You know, he got he like you, Joe. He like a four or five, too, you know, when it come down to it. So. No, for sure.
6:54James Harrison:He's not a burner.
6:56Joe Haden:We'll take that. So you're looking at more of a mid-range, possessional type down. And even, I think, what was it, last year or the year before, he was coming off of a fracture in his back or something like that. And a price tag, you know,$29 million. He's on a one-year deal at that. So you would get him here, and that would be the only year left. And you're paying premium. Like you said about the other guy, you could get for, you know,$15 million. You think you can get for$15 million or so. So I wouldn't consider that favorable for us. And again, it would depend on what you're giving up, what that future deal might look like if that was the case.
7:36Joe Haden:I just, I don't think, I don't see it happen. I don't think it would happen. Again, great, easy number two. But for that money, I don't see.
7:50James Harrison:It's all about dollars and cents. It's all about dollars and cents. We're looking at, when I'm looking at star receivers, in the end of the day, it is what it is. $30 million a year, you know what I'm saying? Making 30, making 40. I need you to be a legitimate guy. And when we're the Steelers, we can be using this legit money to do something else. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's no point of bringing in average. You're not average, you know what I'm saying? But guys that I don't think are going to do the needle. You know what I'm saying? Like, we got legitimate holes that we need. So we got DK at the 30.
8:20James Harrison:we like when I'm looking at the if you have two receivers making 30 we need a Jamar Chase and we need T Higgins I think those when we need a George Pickens and we need a C.D. Lamb like I think those are the two like legitimate ones that can they they have the they can pay their receivers 30 million dollars a piece because those are legit they could be ones you know I'm saying on any team with Pittman and with DK that's 60 million dollars on our team of receivers that I don't think is worth it for the Steelers. We can be able to do something different with that extra 30 ball that can bring some real things to the team.
8:53James Harrison:So with him, great players. Somebody else might be able to take Pittman that's already just needs him to put them over to the, just needs a number two receiver legit to put them over to win something. Steelers need way more than that. So I think we could do more with the 30.
9:08Joe Haden:Definitely. We're going to stick with the Steelers. Look, man, Mel Kuyper Jr. and Phil Yates, They NFL their mock draft. They got Ty Simpson going to the Steelers, right? I don't know. I don't know about this one at all. Because for me, the biggest thing is if you go and draft him, you're telling Will Howard right now we have no hope. We have no desire to even give you a chance. Like, he has no chance at all. Yes, yes. And I ain't going to lie, you know. So Ben, he had said something on his podcast. He cautioned him. Ben said, it seems like, again, I'm still very, very strong against getting a quarterback in the first round.
9:55I wouldn't even get one in the second round, personally. I wouldn't package my third rounder up to go up to get a second round quarterback.
10:06Joe Haden:I would not mess with the quarterback draft. Basically saying he wouldn't mess with the quarterback draft this year. You agree with that? You disagree with that? Like, dude, Mel Kuyper, he done crushed some people, like, talking about they coming out second, third round, and them boys don't even get drafted sometimes. You know what I'm saying?
10:23James Harrison:Yeah, I understand. I understand. I'm with – I'm not with the – I'm not with drafting Ty Simpson. This is what I'm thinking. If the Steelers do draft it, it's Mike McCarthy wanting to work with him as a quarterback and not believing in Will Howard. because if you draft a quarterback in the first round, he's going to get every opportunity to play. It's his job to lose. Like, I'm really not thinking they're having Will Howard really going to have a chance to be in competition with this guy when they had Mason Rudolph, when we had Aaron Rodgers go down, they put in Mason. So I just believe if they do draft a quarterback, it's going to be because Mike McCarthy does not believe in Will Howard and Will Howard's not going to get a chance anymore.
11:06James Harrison:I don't think that that's the case. I want us to go ahead and go with Will Howard. We drafted him. I keep saying this. I'm going to die on the mountain of at least giving the dude a shot and building with these draft picks that we have at legitimate holes that we know we can fill. I want us to get some legitimate linebacker. We know we need that receiver. They're looking at the receivers. They're studying them. They know we're going to get a guy that's going to be a T.J. Watt mentality, bringing the work pail, coming to work hard. Like legitimately a guy that we need in the locker room that's going to help the guys, you know what I'm saying, work hard, figure out what he needs to get done.
11:41James Harrison:So for me, I don't want us to get tied. I could see why they would say that if Mel Kuyper and them thinking there's a quarterback. They don't believe in Will. We need a quarterback on the team that's going to see if it's going to be the future. So that would be a reason. But for me, I'm with Ben. I don't think that we need to go out there reaching. I think we could try with Will, with McCarthy, put him in a good system, get him a running game, get some people around him, get some pieces. And I think we could see what could happen. Like, I'm with Ben. Like, I don't, I think that would be a reach.
12:10Joe Haden:Yeah, I'm all the way with you. I can't disagree with you on this one. And especially, you know, when you look at it, the Steelers are 100 % back on the Rodgers train. I mean, you know, I believe they're thinking that they're able to get him back, that we can come in, get a couple other guys fill in spots, you know, that we need here and there and it gives us a chance of winning it. And like I said last year, bro, without him last year, we we don't even have a winning record, you know. and I believe Rogers on Wednesday, he said that there were no progressive conversations with the Steelers when he was on the Pat McAfee show.
12:52Joe Haden:He said, I talked to Mike, I talked to Omar, Rogers said. There's been no deadline that's been, you know, that's been put in front of me. There's no contract offer or anything. So there's nothing that I've been debating between. I'm a free agent. And again, offseason, you know, I think there's conversations to be had down the line. But right now, I'm not. There hasn't been any progressive conversations. You know, I love Mike. And Mike and I have kept in contact over the years, had conversations with Omar. I really think Omar, you know, enjoyed having me there. I think the guys had positive responses to our time together.
13:39Joe Haden:But again, there hasn't been any real deadline set for me. There hasn't been any contract, you know, floated in front of me for me to like, well, we're giving you till, you know, March 8th to make a decision. There hasn't been any thing like that. There has been nothing but respect. So there again, actually just sitting there waiting on Rodgers. and I mean like I said man ain't no fun on the rabbit got the gun right now man you know y 'all want it so I'm trying to tell them what he's saying without having to say it look Joe listen Joe this is what he's saying right here Joe he's saying I don't know if I want to come back but I want to come back but I need to see what kind of numbers y 'all putting in front of me to make it more likely that I feel like I want to come back that's what I think he's saying but the Steelers are saying at the same time I told you I could go both ways I could sit on the other side of the table I could see the six and nine but the Steelers are saying like we ain't gonna offer you no money unless we know you want to come back why the Steelers saying that because they want to know that he want to come back because if he want to come back, we feel like now we can give him a lower number to get him to come back.
15:04Joe Haden:So he's sitting back. They sitting back. It's going to be about who go sit back the longest, who feel more comfortable about where they at. Because if you go through the draft and you don't do nothing, you go through free agency and you don't do nothing to fill his void, his power gets stronger. Man saved us last year. Let's be honest. What you think?
15:28James Harrison:No, he did it. I think you're right. I think you're right. It just is crazy to me. I mean, end of the day, do the Steelers still want to stay attached? Like, I hear what you're saying with the rabbit got the gun. The timeline, it's like, I respect A-Rod. A-Rod can do whatever he wants. He deserves the right. He don't owe the Steelers nothing. He don't owe McCarthy nothing. He don't owe nobody nothing. So when I'm saying this, I'm saying, do the Steelers, when you're saying you're giving him the power, I'm like, guys, if standing in there and letting him kind of control your destiny of like, do you want to come back?
16:09James Harrison:Are you going to come back? I think when they do, like you said, only time is going to tell. We got to March 8th. Are you going to say something or not? When the free agency comes, are they going to bring any quarterbacks in or not? When the draft comes, are they going to draft Ty Simpson or not? Then that's when action speaks louder than words. So A-Rod, really, he's kind of chilling, but I'm looking at the stills. Like, they're saying they kind of want him back. When he's a free agent, there's no offer on the deal. There's no offer on the table. So A-Rod's kind of saying, like, how much do they want him back?
16:38James Harrison:Like, you're saying something, but if there's no deal on the table, if there's no numbers, there's no one for what? Is it 10? Is it 9? Is it 8? Is it 12? You know what I'm saying? So you can say you want somebody, but actions speak louder than words. And then so everybody's kind of just sitting in low right now. See, I don't think they understand.
16:56Joe Haden:They're going to have to get some back pay for last year. You know. You think so? And I think that's what, you know, he's sitting there like, yo, what you go offer? Like, after what I did for you, I saved the no losing season. What did he play for last year?
17:14James Harrison:What did he play for last year? Like, what was it, like 12? 12 to 15?

17:20Joe Haden:Somewhere around there. I want to say 15. Yeah. Yeah, listen. Average starting quarterback now, what is that, like 25? 30? Yes. Yes, for sure. 18:39Joe Haden:In 2023, a story gripped the UK, evoking horror and disbelief. The nurse who should have been in charge of caring for tiny babies is now the most prolific child killer in modern British history. Everyone thought they knew how it ended. A verdict, a villain, a nurse named Lucy Letby. Lucy Letby has been found guilty. But what if we didn't get the whole story? The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapses. I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast Doubt, the case of Lucy Letby, we follow the evidence and hear from the people that lived it to ask what really happened when the world decided who Lucy Letby was.
19:22Joe Haden:No voicing of any skepticism or doubt.
19:25James Harrison:It'll cause so much harm at every single level if the British establishment of this is wrong.

I'm Nancy Glass, host of the Burden of Guilt Season 2 podcast. This is a story about a horrendous lie that destroyed two families. Late one night, Bobby Gumpright became the victim of a random crime. He pulls the gun, tells me to lie down on the ground. He identified Jermaine Hudson as the perpetrator. Jermaine was sentenced to 99 years.
21:38James Harrison:I'm like, Lord, this can't be real. I thought it was a mistaken identity.
21:43Joe Haden:The best lie is partial truth. For 22 years, only two people knew the truth. Until a confession changed everything. I was a monster. Listen to Burden of Guilt Season 2 on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
22:08James Harrison:Let's go.
22:09Joe Haden:There's no way not, not at 42. It don't matter. You're talking about one year. You want to, you want to, that's going to be up to the Steelers. Are we rebuilding or are we reloading? That's the thing they want to get away from. They're afraid of that rebuild word. They afraid of, they don't want to have a down year. You know what I'm saying? So when you do that, It was one for 13.6. 13.6, plus he got some bonuses for making the playoffs. Didn't get the win, but I'm saying, same thing. I got you into something that no— Very few other quarterbacks could have got you into. That would have been—nobody that would have been at the price he did it for.
22:49Joe Haden:Zero.
22:54Joe Haden:You owe me some back pay. I'm not taking A-Rod, man. For$30 million. Okay. So you cool as the owner who has been saying, this is not a rebuild. This is a reload. And we're going to go out here and compete for a championship. And then saying that I'm starting Will Howard as the starter. Okay. So what are you saying? You got to, something got to give. Your words, your words got to match your actions.
23:26James Harrison:It's going to be incentives. It's going to have incentives in it the same way. Guaranteed money, but an incentive-based thing that we bring him back.
23:32Joe Haden:Ain't no way you're getting him back for a guarantee of less than$20 million. No way. All right.
23:42James Harrison:Yeah, we'll see. Do you think he's going to come back? You think they're going to sign him back for$20 million? That's the thing. Do you think it's going to happen?
23:51Joe Haden:I think they'll sign him back for$20 million. Anything over there, they might have a hard time agreeing to. Now everything else could be incentive-based. Since, you know, we ain't won a playoff game in, what, 10, 11 years now. He could probably be like first playoff win, 5 million, 8 million. Everyone after that, whatever. And he could get it up to 40, 50.
24:16James Harrison:Yeah. I hear you. I hear you. It makes sense. If you're talking about trying to win right now and not really trying to reload and not rebuild, all that stuff, you're making sense. I understand what you're saying. For me, I don't know. But it makes sense, though.
24:36Joe Haden:All right, man. I'm just saying. You know, hell, Pat McAfee even had said that, you know, the Steelers reportedly consulted him during the hiring of Mike McCarthy. he said they basically asked well Pittsburgh Steelers people I don't know who exactly who he was talking about but they basically asked how it was dealing with Mike McCarthy because he was on their show a lot he did a few appearances on the show you got a problem with this show you like this move you don't like this move by the Steelers or Steelers persons or people whatever that may be
25:08James Harrison:yeah I don't know specifically who he talked to but I mean I'm not I'm not mad at it I like McAfee he played in the game. He played for a while. You know what I'm saying? He has an opinion on... He knows what the league was like. I'm not mad at it at all. Are you?
25:25Joe Haden:Uh-uh.
25:26James Harrison:No, you got to check it out.
25:27Joe Haden:You know what I'm saying?
25:28James Harrison:They ask people that don't know what's going on about other people all the time. Getting somebody that actually was in the game, that actually interacted with coaches, that talks to players all the time, was in the locker room. You know what I'm saying? I love the way he played. You know what I'm saying? So actually in it, that actually does it, that people do have respect for, yeah, ask him. You know what I'm saying? Because he's going to give it. I don't find Pat McAfee a person that lies about his opinion on how he feels about somebody. If he doesn't like someone, if he feels like he wrote them wrong, it'll let you know and just be honest.
26:02James Harrison:He's not out there trying to bash people. And you asking, like people ask other consultants and people like this all the time that didn't play and they take their advice. So I like that he asked somebody that actually has an opinion that's been in locker rooms and actually interacts with these people of, you know what I'm saying, do your due diligence. Ask everybody. People ask when we do the combines, they're asking about you talk to your high school teacher. They talk to all these people. Man, them dudes don't, man, why you talk to Buddy? Like, he's fried. I didn't like my middle school teacher.
26:31James Harrison:She was actually the worst. You know what I'm saying? Like, no. So talking to Pat McAfee, I find it cool, dope. And it's not like if Pat McAfee said that he didn't have a great relationship, that wouldn't have been the reason why they didn't hire him. You're just taking a different opinion and getting people's perspective about people. Yeah, for sure. I like it.
26:50Joe Haden:I'm all with it, man. But your boy, Quashon, what is it, Quashon Junkins? Quashon Junkins. Yeah, he said he had something interesting to say about his current head coach and past head coach. Listen to it. different coaches over the past couple years have you heard from your new head coach Todd Monkhan yet bro I have and bro honestly like it's not what I thought it would have been
27:14James Harrison:like okay what did you think it was gonna be I thought it was gonna be like more so like because my past coach bro he was like really even kill bro like super quiet I thought I was gonna get that from coach Monkhan but it wasn't that like he was like a real players coach bro Like, you know, like, give me a hug, like all that, bro. So he was just super communicative of what he wanted from the team, what his goal is, what his objective is, what he want to come in and do. And, you know, he knows exactly what he wants and he has a vision. And I think that's what's important as a head coach and especially being vocal about it, too.
27:50James Harrison:I think that's what matters.
27:52Joe Haden:I respect the CR. What you got to say about that, Joe? What is he saying, Joe, about his current coach and his past coach?
28:02James Harrison:that there are two different types of coaching styles. And I'm not here to bash Coach Stefanski because there's also good coaches that are super laid back and have a different approach to it. But there's coaches like Todd Munkin that obviously players can relate to a little bit more. And there's just more, you know what I'm saying? Give me a hug, you know what I'm saying? More relationship-based. And nobody's saying that that's a better way to do it. Nobody's saying that the more laid back way is the way to do it. But I can say for Junkins, he's obviously speaking on what he's known as a coach before.
28:34James Harrison:And this one's more personable, more letting him know what it is, more just a different type of coach that he had before. And I'm here for it. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's one thing, like all of there's two different ways to skin a cat. Like you said, two things could be right at the same time. There's two different. And he just likes that type of coach a little bit more. And I can respect it because for me as a player, I it didn't matter to me. I'm here to do a job. But if you do have a coach that is more boom, like you can feel like you have a more relationship that you vibe with, just the same way you have a boss at your job.
29:07James Harrison:It may be a boss that's more not relatable, but if you get the job done, you treat me with respect. You're here to do a job. I'm here to do a job. But I do not mind us being here to do a job and us being able to have a certain type of relationship. So sometimes that can get a little bit more of a players, like players coaches. When you see the Lions coach, when you see the Patriots coach, when you see the ones that played before, they have a certain little vibe that they just interact with coaches, interact with players a different way. And it could still be that stuff when they're in, the tape doesn't lie.
29:39James Harrison:They can address you in a way. They're going to coach you up the right way. They're not going to let you get away with stuff. That doesn't mean that we're going to be buddy, buddy. It just means the way that I address you is still, I need the best out of you. I'm still going to let you know when you're doing right, when you're doing wrong, but we still have that type of relationship. So I know what he's saying from the coaching perspective of coaches just move and shake a different way and they have different relationship with their players so I know what he's saying there but it's not like I'm not here to bash the fancy because that's not like it's not oh it's not bad if you're not really as relatable to your players it's just different styles of coaching um I'm a kind of six in one hand half dozen in the
30:17Joe Haden:other um I think what he's saying here is more of a personal preference for himself and I think That's what a lot of guys are getting into, especially players nowadays, is the emotional attachment to a coach versus the results of it. He wanted more of an or he likes more of an emotional attachment. He's a player's coach. He's this, he's that. But for me, the thing that kills all that is winning. It don't matter what type of coach he is. You just said yourself, Patriots. Bill was not that dude. Not even close to that guy. But winning, nobody was like, man, I wish my coach was this and I wish my coach was that.
31:05Joe Haden:No, they sitting over there with six Lombardis. They don't give a damn about how their coach talks to them, approaches them. And here's another issue when you get into those emotional and personal connections with the coaches, you forget it's a business. No, for sure. And when it comes down to it, he is not going to hesitate to get rid of you, no matter how he feels about you, if it comes down to him or you being the reason that he's going to get up out of there. Yeah. You know?
31:36James Harrison:And that's the part that I, it's two things could be like, when you're getting coached up by a coach and you had that relationship, it does not matter if the eye in the sky don't lie. If you're not performing well, that relationship doesn't matter. you're still going to be able to have a good relationship with your coach. And be like, yeah, you're probably going to get cut. If your relationship is truly personal and it's not. No, no, no. Understandable. But you know, as a football player, it don't matter. That relationship is not going to be more than your tape is going to show. You're still going to get chopped if you're not performing well.
32:11James Harrison:Coach might not even be able to tell you that. And you can't knock, put your relationship, your personal relationship over that at all. Because that don't matter. You know what I'm saying? That's the main thing. The main thing is the main thing. You got to perform. You got to play right on tape. If you think that he's going to be able to tell you, like, if you're not performing well, your coach is going to be able to tell you that you're not performing well, period. And you're going to realize you might get chopped. But don't think your coach is going to be able to save you from getting chopped because of your personal relationship.
32:38James Harrison:Do you know what I'm saying?
32:38Joe Haden:I think some guys get that a little skewed up. Like, I'm hurt. I'm down a little bit. Coach go understand. You know, give me time to come back. Some coaches ain't going to understand that. they don't really care about that to be honest with you because y 'all think y 'all friends like you me yeah hey Joe down bad right now James down bad right now give him a chance you know he be back let him get back healthy no we ain't got that time we ain't got that time I'm the coach we ain't got that time to do that
33:05James Harrison:they're talking about those numbers and where does your salary fit in and can we move on from him what do we owe who can we get him for exactly what can we get for him you're a piece of the puzzle at the end of the day so don't get that part messed up you know what I'm saying but the relationship like it's cool to have a good vibe like you know what it is but if you're balling you know what I'm saying if you're not balling you still have that relationship but he's going to cut you like with no
33:35Joe Haden:hesitation like I'm going to tell you right now Dick LeBeau is a dude that cared about you no matter how you were playing no matter if you were playing for him or not. I still talk to the man this day. I talked to him when I was in Cincinnati. He was a person that truly cared about you as a person. The performance on the field didn't matter, but that didn't dictate how much he cared about you and his approach to you. That is unbelievable. That's hard to find, man. Y 'all Browns over there, man. You got Miles out here. What, he got his ninth speeding ticket since 2000. 2017, man. He was allegedly going over 100 miles an hour, but the officer opted to cite him for a lesser offense.
34:25Joe, what's going on, man?
34:28Joe Haden:I think your boy got his last ticket in February 21st at 1.35 a.m. Coming up, Worcester, Ohio. And you're lucky it was Miles Garrett, dude. 100 August it was 100 miles an hour in a 60 like 2022 he was cited for failure to control a motor vehicle in a single car accident where he messed up his shoulder and his bicep I think and that was 65 in a 45 I don't think these boys understand like what it is in Ohio man like i don't know i don't know about nowhere else but i know ohio because i'm from ohio okay now anything that's 20 or more they can hit you with this thing called reckless operation okay now they don't necessarily or they they don't necessarily hit you with it automatically but now you done left that choice into the discretion of the officer who stops you because now he can add some stuff on top like you was weaving in and out um you almost caused a dangerous situation or they just say you was racing another car i couldn't even catch up to and i you the only person i caught and you know what the penalty is for that dude the max penalty they could give you for that 30 days in jail a fine yeah and suspend your license for six months okay so why would i I allow somebody else to put the freedom of myself in jeopardy because the officer now has a choice to just make up some stuff and this go be his word against yours.
36:12Joe Haden:And, hey, I pop my lights on. By the time I pop my lights on, he was the only person I could catch up to. The other one took off. You know, I believe it was racing. Mm hmm. No.
36:23James Harrison:Yeah. You got it. You got to slow down. You got to slow down. It's too many times Miles going a little bit too fast. Love Miles to death. Great dude. Great character. But the speed and tickets, you got to slow down. Like, it's just, they're racking up safety first, Miles. You got a lot of bread. You got a lot to lose. I just need you to get a driver something. And it's not saying that he's drinking and driving. He's just going too fast. I know what I'm saying. He's just going too fast. We just need him to slow down because it's just, it's not safe. You can go to a track. You can do any miles. You can go anywhere that you want.
37:00James Harrison:I know you got nice cars, good fast cars. Take him to the track. It's just not a good look. I'm glad that he's not hurt himself a little bit one time, like when he got into the single car accident. So just for me, for my man, Miles, love him to death. Great dude. Just slow it down a little bit, brother, because, you know, you don't want to. It could happen in a flash, like going that fast. So, yeah, just slow it down, man. Be careful. Take care of yourself. Yo. Yo.
37:29Joe Haden:I know you're a Browns fan, but I ain't. I love you, man. Miles, go ahead and give you this warning, brother.
37:40Joe Haden:I got some friends in Ohio. Some state troopers. Some polices. Now, listen. I'm giving you this warning. I'm just letting you know. if somebody happened to catch you doing 20 or over and you playing the Steelers any time within 28 days I'm telling you take your ass to jail for 30.
38:09James Harrison:You got people like Debo out there trying to get you trying to get you behind bars. Just slow it down a little bit. Come on.
38:18Joe Haden:I'm just saying. I'm just letting you know. man.
38:22James Harrison:Just slow down, brother. That's all I was saying, man. You know what I'm saying? I'm telling you, Miles, you got good people out there. You know what I'm saying? Everything's going good. You getting pulled up by the good cops. You know what I'm saying? Making sure everything's solid. But you can have Debo's people messing around. You know the flu run deep.
38:40Joe Haden:Let's be careful. Let's be careful. I got my badge, too. Got my badge, too.
38:49James Harrison:Hold on. Are you impersonating the officer? Hey, listen, I ain't a person at all.

39:31Joe Haden:He started getting all this attention, and he maybe started to think, I'm bigger than this, I'm better. And plenty of other mishaps, scandals, and sagas that have made Formula One a delightful, decadent dumpster fire for more than 75 years. I'm Clayton Eckerd, and in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor. Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan. He became the first Bachelor to ever have his final rose rejected. The internet turned on him. If I could press a button and rewind it, all I would. But what happened to Clayton after the show made even bigger headlines. It began as a one-night stand and ended in a courtroom, with Clayton at the center of a very strange paternity scandal.
42:52Joe Haden:The media is here. This case has gone viral. The dating contract. Agree to date me, but I'm also suing you. Please search warrant.
43:00James Harrison:This is unlike anything I've ever seen before.

43:28James Harrison:I'm a badge. Friend. Okay, friend. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Okay.
43:33Joe Haden:Hey, look. Friend of the chief. Hey. I had to get you locked. Make sure when I pull my ID out, I have it sitting on the side right there. Like, hey, see my ID right here. What's that? Oh, that's just my friend gave it to you. Oh, you know, it's a little badge.
43:47James Harrison:Do you say, you know, it's a little badge. Yeah, I ain't got to say nothing. It's already on there. It's right there. Do you say friend of the chief? Do you say friend of the chief? He says it on there. Or do you just be like this? Okay. I ain't got to say nothing.
43:57Joe Haden:Say it on there. I ain't got to say nothing. Yeah, all right. I want to see, make sure a friend of is the same size as a chief. Hey, hey, hey, I ain't got to say nothing, man. I ain't got to say nothing. Look here, man. Okay. You know what I'm saying? The Bears traded for right receiver D.J. Moore. They traded him for the Bears.
44:16James Harrison:Okay. What do you think of that trade? Okay. All right. For the Bills, I mean, they need a receiver. They need a receiver. I'm not mad at D.J. Moore. You know what I'm saying? Maybe still not a one. Good two. You know, they had Shakur over there doing pretty good. Coleman can do better. He still hasn't done what he needed to do from his rookie year. So, I like him. I don't think they're done. They gave up a second and a fifth for him. Second and a fifth. Fine. Second round pick, you know what you're going to get. I like DJ Moore for a second round pick. Right. You know?
44:50Joe Haden:He's solid. As soon as they signed him, they're going to guarantee a portion of his 28. contract 15.5 million is guaranteed when they sign this man plus 23.5 on 26 and 27 especially with them boys they've been running the ball more than they've been doing anything else bro you're gonna need to get eventually a receiver and well not not we what they need to do is try and fix the bigger issue of alan turning the ball over with the interceptions and the fumbles when he extending plays and stuff like that that's getting them kicked if you get somebody
45:29James Harrison:that's actually going to get open they're trying to help him right there dj moore he's not bad he's good and last year he played 17 games he was hooping so i'm i'm not mad at them trying to go get him a legit player that they know all right but why did the bears just let dj moore go why did the bears because they drafted a lot of receivers and they know they got some they can get rid they don't want they don't want to have a contract they don't want to have a contract anymore and they got them young boys that they just drafted that they want and expect to start balling that's why I don't know about that I'm not going to knock DJ
46:08Joe Haden:I'm not I'm not I'm knocking I told you I could sit on both sides I'm sitting in the owner's seat right now
46:14James Harrison:no no for sure only reason why I'm trying to go with I'm rocking with the Bills because you got to do something where we're like he doesn't have anybody to throw it to they're trying to go get somebody to throw it to, and I don't think that they're done with help with getting him other receivers. So I can't be saying that, oh, no, he don't have no receivers, and they go get DJ Moore. And I'm like, no, that's terrible. I'm like, no, that's straight. Okay, you're trying to get somebody to help out Josh Allen, obviously. Okay, that's a good piece. They're not done. There's still so much time when free agency still isn't done.
46:43James Harrison:They still got the draft. They still got a lot of time to still do things. But first move, DJ Moore, we need a receiver. We've been I'm not done yet, but I like the way that you're going. I like the way to the path. Are you addressing some shit that Josh Allen needed? You know what I'm saying? I understand what you're saying, but I don't know. I got to sit on the other side. You talking money-wise. You're like, that's a lot of bread. That's a lot of bread. I'm going to look at it. So look at it as a two year, three. No, it's three. Guaranteeing that some money. Three year. He's coming to a three year, what?
47:14James Harrison:20, 2014? 20, 2014, 60. Okay. Three for 60.
47:21Joe Haden:No. Once you guarantee that 15-5, you basically got to do the other, what is it, 13-something or whatever, 20, 40, 60, almost 70-something for three?
47:34James Harrison:Let me go look at the calendar. It looked like they were still paying in. I don't know if they're paying the whole thing this first year. They got to. They just traded for them.
47:43Joe Haden:They gave up. You think they go, nah. That's yours now. It's off my books. that's the um thing with the um um the coach receiver like uh what's his name uh michael uh michael pittman michael pittman jr they what almost five million over the cap and they got 25 29 or something sitting on their books right now i'll tell you i think they i think they're supposed to give him like 24 million in room or something like that just from him being moved
48:24okay you're right yeah that's gonna be a bad bro like they just grabbed look man espn even
48:32Joe Haden:gave him some bad grades they gave bears the a and gave the bills to d
48:39James Harrison:yeah because it said bring it the bills bring him in march 2026 bringing him with average of 27.5 annual with roughly 82.6 million in total guaranteed money. Come on, bro. That? Yup. I ain't gonna lie. That's a lot. That's a little bit of... That's a lot. He got him. Oh, now he got him. I ain't gonna knock nobody,
49:03Joe Haden:but now you see the whole thing. Now he got him. Okay. Hey, listen.
49:06James Harrison:He ain't get him. He ain't get him. He got him. What do you want to say? That's a good deal now? For him, no question. What are they doing? The first, what is he doing? Now, yeah. Then I'm trying to say what you're saying. He's like, no, I ain't put it like that. No, I'm just saying.
49:21Joe Haden:Like, I was with you. I'm just saying it took you a minute to go ahead and switch over to me. I'm good at convincing. You know what I'm saying? I got to show you. Once I show you it, I put it in front of you. You can't deny it.
49:32James Harrison:So they signed up for a three-year, 27.5 a year. Okay. Three years for 82, a 27.5 a year. that's a that's a good and that's all guaranteed dead fully guaranteed that's a good deal he hit him with the Kirk Cousins jump I love the contract I love the contract I'm not saying DJ Moore's not worth it but you know that's 27-5 there every year for the next three now we're gonna have to figure out what they're gonna do with the rest
50:00Joe Haden:of the funds that's what we're gonna figure out what we're gonna figure out I mean they got some room now they got the what is it Drew Dolman he retired at 20 27, dude. This dude, Pro Bowl, All Pro. He retired at 27. Just walked away from a$43 million contract, bro. He said he worried about the side effects. What contract? How much is it still? It was 43. He had just signed it just this past year.
50:36Damn.
50:38Joe Haden:What you think, Debo? Oh, you know his dad, though. his dad played in um played in nfl 93 to 2000 with the 49ers chris um i think maybe it's a situation where you know he done like you said he ain't got no issues now but he may be seeing some side effects maybe that his pops is dealing with who knows and he's not a he's not a stupid guy he's from what stanford so he gotta he gotta have he gotta have a head on his shoulders and then think about it the um the the ravens lineman that retired at 26 because he was worried about long-term um brain cte um uh chromatic traumatic encephalopathy cte uh he's he got a he has a phd in mathematics from mit bro i believe he's a professor there like so i think these guys are like just becoming you know more aware especially when you got dudes that's like super smart especially the dude from um uh the ravens the lineman like the stuff he was doing dude like brain activity got to be on on cue like you talking what was it uh numerical linear algebra i don't even know what the hell that means yo it just it's too many words graph theory uh data science algorithms.
52:01Joe Haden:I don't even know what that means. But all I know is the level of thought and process that it takes to do it is something he can't afford to lose sales to playing this game. And when it comes down to it, a lot of guys right now, especially now, have some understanding of, you know, what the risk is, what could happen. and when it come down to it it's like am I willing to risk that for you know what it is that that I'm going to get and for me like personally it was worth it and you know until it wasn't worth it I could have you know I could have went back to to uh New England you know Bill wanted me he was gonna let me know what was going on after the draft but mine wasn't I wasn't worried about brain health to be honest with you though i just i did a whole i still do stuff to you know help with with things to help for the you know the trauma and the injuries that occur you know from you hitting people you know rather it's stars rings dings or whatever all that is and like i just did a lot of stuff as far as like um you got like light waves you got like frequency like your body works by that it heals by that it does all kind of stuff like that you got supplements especially things that help like boost your um like your neurocognitive activity like and help repair you know at least whatever may be damage or or connections that's dormant you know in your neurological activity in your brain so I did a lot of stuff during my time playing and I still do stuff now after, you know, I've been done playing.
53:43Joe Haden:And for him, I think it just came down to a, he wasn't willing to risk it for what the reward or lack of reward was for him. That's where I see it.
53:57James Harrison:I think you saying the right stuff. I mean, I think it's the same way. I think it's a lot of people just becoming a lot more, you know aware you know I'm saying what's going on being able to save their money like looking at at the end of the day they weren't playing football to be now it's like it's a jump start like you're hitting the lottery every single year that you play you're playing a game that you love and you'll be able to set a jump start to this isn't wasn't their see-all be-all a lot of these dudes like you said smart dudes really really smart have a lot of other things that they want to do in their life have a lot of other visions have like families and just want to do other things.
54:35James Harrison:And being able to play in the NFL for a lot, for some people is that jumpstart, that nugget, that when he hit that contract, that three for 42, one year he made$16 million. He like this, boom. I could tuck nine of this now and I could not, I can go do whatever I want to do. NFL came and blessed me. I did what I needed to do and being able to like, that's generational money. So certain people are like, oh, I need$2 million,$3 million. And I can literally live and do whatever I want, make my little investment. Me and my family, we don't need much. So some dudes that are just smarter, like I don't want to keep hurting my body.
55:09James Harrison:Playing the game, been doing it since like they were little, a long way, keep going like all this time, all this wear and tear. It is a real thing. So bodies and just being able to take care of that stuff and like certain, like I'm on the, so I can see how certain people could have their stuff right, figure it out. Like, look, this is what I need. I'm able to gracefully bow out. I have other plans. This was amazing. Like, no, I'm good. Some dudes don't have kind of that option. Like, this is football. This is what we do. Like, no, I'm going until the wheels fall off. I love this game. Like, no, are you kidding me?
55:39James Harrison:I'm getting to play this game, this child. I'm going to play until you're not going to let me play no more. So other people are like, there's different people that never had nothing. Like, no, I didn't know what this could really change my life, my family's life. And other certain people, like dudes that just don't really need to do it. family's playing the league, father's playing the league, got other businesses, got other things that, it's 24 hours in a day, but I'm actually just good at football. I don't need it. I'm just good at it. And it's dang, now I get to play in the league and y 'all are paying me to do this.
56:08James Harrison:Like, I don't love it. You know what I'm saying? It's just, it's a thing that I do. I mean, you could love it, you just love your brain health more. You could love it, but you might kind of love it what it brings to you, but people are in different situations. But when you starting to see now, dudes that can step away from it, like understanding this thing is, it's hurting my body. I got what I needed from it and I literally have other things that I can go do now. I can see why. I can see it happening.
56:32Joe Haden:Yeah. I think a lot of guys get into the league and they're like, you know what? I'm going to make enough money so I ain't got to ever work again. And that is very, very, very rarely true, I should say. It's very rarely true that you actually get to be able to have that ability to do that because a lot of guys don't have that, you know, education of how to manage their money, what to do with their money. A lot of guys don't see the end coming.
56:59James Harrison:It's just... A lot of dudes, bro, like when we think about the ones that are able to literally just gracefully bow out, we've seen just smarter, like not smarter, but just young, like young educated men that really just like, Like, all right, this isn't what I, and it's not a bad thing, but they don't need it. You know what I'm saying? Like, they don't need to feel like the wear and tear on their body. I have other plans to go do other things. They got a plan B. That's just something.
57:26Joe Haden:They have a plan B. The football may have been their plan A, but they had a plan, you know, 2A on the backup that was like, okay, if I get to this point right here playing this game, then I'm going to make sure as soon as I can. A lot of these.
57:42James Harrison:I'm going to be the body here and get into what it is that I really want to do. I've never seen I'm going to tell you this but I've never seen one of our young brothers like step out of that during yet because a lot of the young black dudes who I'm just saying for one thing that's the game that's the goal was going to the league like that's why a lot of them you know what I'm saying being able to manage the money and stuff like no we're in the league making this bread oh yeah for sure this was this is what I've been trying to do since I was a kid some other dudes but now being able to know being able to have a plan B knowing that it's not going to last forever.
58:16James Harrison:You know what I'm saying? Like being able to look back on it, but dudes playing football, making the bag, doing what you loved as you was a kid. Like it's just something I know for you and me that you couldn't just step away from off the rip. But if you had plan Bs, Cs, real things, like being able to stack your cheese, be healthy, having another movie that you want to do, it's good to see.
