In short
Debo and Joe discuss Steelers offseason/defense building, Jalen Ramsey’s fit with DC Patrick Graham, and whether Aaron Donald will unretire; they also pivot to NBA Finals Game 3 predictions and New York crowd/ticket talk.
Guests
No guests appear in the transcript; only hosts James “Debo” Harrison and Joe Hayden.
Guest backgrounds
N/A.
Key claims
- Steelers defense is “taking shape” because Ramsey can communicate and “talk ball” with the defensive coordinator across positions, reducing mental busts.
- Ramsey is compared to Charles Woodson (including potential “star/money” hybrid usage) and should help turnovers/interceptions.
- Aaron Donald “unretiring” is unlikely; if he did, it would be disruptive and create matchup “smoke” for the Steelers.
Notable examples
- Ramsey/secondary coach Joe Witt Jr. references Woodson’s versatility.
- Steelers defensive philosophy: no mental errors; be in position and catch interceptions.
- NBA: Joe predicts Knicks/NYC series ends quickly (Spurs “swept” if they lose Game 3).

Soon after, I was in their Kohler, Wisconsin foundry, watching molten iron poured, enamel applied by hand, and the beautiful finished pieces ready to ship. Since 1883, Kohler cast iron has been crafted by incredible artisans, and seeing it firsthand gave me a whole new appreciation for their craftsmanship. 4:21James Harrison:Welcome back to this episode of Debo and Joe. I'm your host James Debo Harrison and I'm here with my co-host Joe Hayden. Please make sure you like subscribe and download where you get your show. How you doing today Joe? I'm doing good brother Debo doing great. Had a beautiful beautiful beautiful weekend. Weather was amazing. The pool's back open. I spent so much time in that pool this week. You got a pool? Yeah, I got a little pool. Got a little pool. A little pool. As soon as you said little, I knew it was a lot. You know, a little in-ground pool. A little in-ground. A little in-ground jump. Oh, Debo, and what I wanted to let you know too, okay, the season is over.
5:04James Harrison:My flag football season is over. Okay, so how'd it go? What was the record? So we won our first playoff game. And when we won the first playoff game, we had to wait three hours because we had to win the second playoff game to go to the Super Bowl. So we won the first playoff game, 13-12, fought for our life. My boy Joey drove it down. We went to overtime. Okay. Went to overtime. So you start from the 50 and they get a drive. We stopped them on their drive. Our drive, my man Joey, on third down, throws a big post to my man Jackson, down to the two. Fourth down. I'm like, Joey, we got slants on the left.
5:43James Harrison:We got slants on the right. Look off left. Throw it to west on the right. My man Joey looks left. Throws to the west. Bam. Touchdown. Overtime. We win. Kids are happy. Everybody's geeked. Okay? Okay. Okay. Now, everybody got to take a break. Everybody stay off your feet, kids. I'm telling everybody, parents, keep your kids off your feet. You know what I'm saying? Go rest a little bit. Stay in the shade. It's hot outside. We got a game to go to the Super Bowl. All right. We come back to this game. We get smoked. We get smoked. My team is tired. Yeah, yeah. It was a team that we lost to during the regular season.
6:18James Harrison:It was the Raiders. Oh, them boys that put that foot in your ass that last time, huh? A little bit. Yeah, they were prepared. They were a little bit more prepared. So we lost that game. But my team was happy that we won the first jungle, won the playoff game. And we just weren't ready for the Super Bowl. We weren't ready. Okay. My other son, Jet, with the Steelers. Super Bowl. Them boys went undefeated, D-Bo. Super Bowl, I told you! I told you. Them boys won the Super Bowl. They got to do the same damn thing that Philly's about to do. What you talking about? That man Jet, them boys went undefeated, D-Boy.
6:47James Harrison:I ain't going to lie to you. Them boys won the Super Bowl 13-0. What you expect? They scored a touchdown. They missed a two-point conversion. They got a safety, and then they scored another touchdown. Yeah, man. Them boys was out there bowling, man. My man Jetty, I got to get you the pictures. They got the rings and all. Oh, yeah. Hey, yo, he got a ring, and you ain't got one. Oh, man. He got a Super Bowl, Joe. Yeah, he did. Yes, he did. Jesse, back-to-back Super Bowl champs. He done won it two times in a row. He done won it two times in a row. Oh, Lord. Oh, Lord, dude. Don't do it. He gonna throw it in your face, too.
7:23James Harrison:No, no, no. He gonna throw it in your face, too. Yeah, you gotta watch Jet. Jet, like, don't worry about it. Jet, like, don't worry about it, Joey. I'll let you have one of my rings. I said, son, don't say that. Joey, he gonna go get his own ring. He gonna get his own ring. Yeah, as soon as he come over to the still. Man, no. Shut your mouth, man. As soon as we get to working, that was only our first season. That was only our first season. Shut your mouth. Shut your mouth. Last year, there was the 49ers, man. I bought the Browns. We got a playoff win in our first season. In our first season. In our first season out there just doing numbers.
7:57James Harrison:We ain't got to get so violent, Joe. I'm the violent one. Slow down, baby. We out there doing numbers, man. Chill out, man. Come on, now. Look at it, man. I knew that was going to make you a little day. for the Steelers, man. They did go win the ship, and I was geeked. Because that's my boy. That's my boy. What would you expect? And you was coaching the Browns, wasn't you? Yes, I was coaching the Browns. What a surprise, man. It's the mentality. Because my boy Jet, his team was already named the Steelers, so we got the Steelers team, and I had that Browns team. And Joey, my oldest son, was born in Cleveland.
8:30James Harrison:That's his squad. That's okay. Jet's favorite team is Steelers. Let me talk to him. Let me talk to him, man. Man, I ain't letting you talk to my kid. You're going to try to poison them. I ain't poisoning them. I just, you know, I like to speak to kids as a matter of fact. I don't like to sugarcoat anything. I talk about, even when my kids was little, like yours, I talk to my kids in straightforward words. For sure. The way the world going to be. The world not going to lie to them. The world ain't going to lie to them. It ain't going to treat them nice. Actually, it's going to be against them. It's either going to be against them or it's going to be for them.
9:02James Harrison:It ain't going to be no middle ground. There's no middle ground. They go love you because of who you are, who you related to, or they go hate you because you got something that they didn't have, and it's jealousy, envy, and anger. Or it's just like, yo, I want to be able to be around you, man. I love it. I'm all for it. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Now, what you think going to go down tonight, though, over here about 830 in New York? Ay-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi. Is it getting tricky? Listen, bro. It's past tricky. Listen, they going to lose. It's not no, it ain't no if, ands, or buts about it. Spurs going to lose this.
9:41James Harrison:Spurs going to lose this. That's for sure. They're going to lose the series. Oh, the series. Debo, the series is done, in my opinion. The series is done. The series is done, man. You lost. All I need to know and find out is tonight, if y 'all lose this, you getting swept. Oh, if you lose this, you're not trying to pack your bags and have to go back to Texas. Tonight is the night that you're going to show your fight. If you don't win game three, there's no point. Like, and I don't think we all— Don't even show up. Don't even show up, man. I mean, you got to— If you lose game three, don't even show up, man.
10:12James Harrison:You got to show up. You got to show up. Don't even show up, man. But I don't think they're going to win. I think they're going to get swept. The only way, if they don't win tonight, Debo, sweep. Sweep all day. Facts. Rooms out. Right now, the series is definitely over. Carl Anthony Towns, bruh, is surprising me. Like, he's playing like the Carl Anthony Towns that everybody wanted him to play like. Jalen Brunson, obviously, his field goal percentage is low, but I don't care. Berner Brunson, shoot your shots. When we need him to make, when they need him to make the shots, he's getting buckets. He damn sure wasn't playing like this last year in the playoff.
10:54I mean.
10:55James Harrison:That's for sure. everybody's balling right now for them. McCall Anthony Towns, number one, with his field goal percentage, with his defense on Wimby, he's playing better than Wimby right now. Bruh. Hey, I ain't... What? What? Yeah, I guess... Hey, man, listen, man. We gonna see. Wimby gotta come back about 40 pounds heavier, bruh. 40? I need 40 on him, bruh. I need a good 270. Seven-fold. 7-4. Yo, I'm sitting here at 255, Joe, right now. Debo, you're not the average man walking around here. Oh, but everybody think I'm like 210 or something. They think I'm victim weight. There's no way they think you're 210.
11:42James Harrison:Bro, they out of control. That's because, you know. Out of control. Your boy leaned up real good. You know what I'm saying? But listen, I'm trying to tell him, 255 is still looking. But he needs, he got to get some weight on him, man. A little bit. A thousand percent. Not a little bit, bro. I need a lot of it. I mean, just because... Keep all your flexibility and all that, man. You're going to get a little bit more power. You can lean on people now. You can go ahead and give them that body, like real body. The good thing is, the good thing is, he's still young. He's 22 years old. So like the same way when Giannis came in and started getting that weight on him, he don't got to...
12:15James Harrison:And he's young, so he's got room to grow. Right now, he can shoot. He can do. He's flexible. But like his postgame, when you get them young boys on you, they're kind of hard, like dork. These young dudes are 6 '5 with a little bit of weight on them. I'm like, no matter what, you're 7 '4. If he's 6 '5, I don't care what. You should be able to give him something. Not just he's keeping you out of there because he got a stronger base. He got a stronger base. He got more weight. He got the leverage. And you ain't number 230. You ain't pushing me nowhere. You trying to bump. He like this, where you going?
12:51James Harrison:You're not moving me. You know what I'm saying? Still, you tall, but you not strong. You know what I'm saying? If he can get a little bit more of that base, if he can get a little bit more of that base for sure, it'd be good. But he can't change what he's been doing this whole season to get him there this year. He ain't going to gain no weight tonight. Listen, it's all. No, hell no. No, it's all. It's all with, man. Go ahead and get in the offseason. Matter of fact, give me a call, Wimby. I'm going to put you. I'm going to hook you up with my trainer, man. We're going to put the weight on the correct way, man.
13:17James Harrison:Get you out, get you scroll up, healthy, all that, man. Listen, I'm going to tell you. Keep rolling to the rim, but right now, New York is going to be crazy. Listen, bro, they out of control with these tickets, though. New York's going to be crazy. What's going to be crazy? New York? New York. They already crazy, bro. Listen, I don't, you've been hearing, you've been seeing the, like, they ain't been acting up, but they've been acting up a little bit, but I'm just worried, like, they win. They might tear something up. That's what I'm saying. They're going to get real disrespectful. They're going to get super, they're already disrespectful.
13:49James Harrison:I don't want to. Big headed and I just, I hate the idea. I don't want, I don't want a good thing to turn bad. They like this. Yeah. Gotham city. It's going to be crazy. They're going to need the national guard. No, no, no, no. Why do we need the national guard? Let's have a good time. Yes. Let's have a safe parade. I don't want to be looking and seeing people getting hemmed up. That's not fun. Right. You know what I'm saying? Seeing people in the, in the jungle, the chokehold. I'm like, no, no, no. All for a celebration. All of a sudden. in the game? It's tear gas and pepper spray and all that.
14:21James Harrison:Now it's tear gas. Now it's pepper spray. Now you crying for not tears of joy, a panic. Joe, Joe, they win. They sweep these boys. Bruh, I might have to go to New York myself just to see what people do. I'm not going to New York. Joe, I gotta see it. There you go. What you gonna go there and do? Are you gonna go save someone? I'm gonna be in Times Square at my hotel looking out the window like this. I ain't gonna be on the street. Okay, okay, okay. Thank you. I can respect that. I can respect that. I'll be looking out the window like, ooh, we. You're going to need to get there early, though. You're going to need to get there early.
14:56James Harrison:Hey, as soon as they win this game, I'm going in. I'm going to be doing the show tomorrow. You're going to be 17 hours late. You mean before game four or before game three? I'm going to say before. No, no. I'm going to get there Tuesday before game four. Okay, okay, okay. I'm going to get there Tuesday. Good, good, good. I'm going to be right there. Good. It might be a guest episode on the Wednesday, just straight from after they win. Yes. Live, Bo. Go ahead. Go live on them. From the top. From the top. Camera phone. No, for sure. I see these motherfuckers out here acting the fool. And if you go down there and have some New York gear, though, you'll probably be safe.
15:35James Harrison:Listen. I know that. Listen, they already know I wanted them to lose, so I can't show my face. They might try and jump me or something. No, no, no, no, no. They going to be with you, bro. I'm telling you, as long as you got to throw some New York gear, don't go out there wearing a cat jersey on. Yeah, if you come out there with a Carl Anthony Towns jersey, you're going to get so much love. Hey, forget about it. It's nothing, you know? It's lovely then. You know? It's lovely. That's all what it is, dude. Them tickets, dude, that sold, they said, for$550. When you're building a small business, every day brings new challenges and opportunities.

What's up, bro? 550 ,000.
19:10James Harrison:550 ,000, sorry. 550 ,000. 550 ,000. Yes, sir. It was actually, I guess, an auction. Mm-hmm. It was charity. Yes. So, right there. There it is. Put that up on the screen for me. So what it come down to, bro, is if you needed a tax write-off of a half mil or more, I'd go ahead. I'd buy these tickets. The ticket's value is really$39 ,600. That's what I was trying to tell you. Now you're going to write the deduction off of$510 ,000. I'm telling you. Hey, somebody out there that was using their head, that's like, you know what? I could go to the game and get a hell of a tax deduction because I need this write-off.
19:54James Harrison:But they got a lot of money they making, Joe. I ain't never had to write off that much, Joe. I ain't never had to write off nothing. I was trying to figure out how to get back, how to get money back. There's tax brackets, Debo. There's tax brackets. There's billionaires out here that make a lot more money than us. When we see these mega yachts, these$100 million. Oh, Utah, okay. There's different. Mega, mega. There's different classes. You hear it, Joe. I don't know nothing about that. I'm sitting over here. I don't know nothing about that. You talking about, you know, you know. You know what a mega yacht is.
20:26James Harrison:I don't, I didn't even, I thought a yacht was a yacht. No, no, no. You know what I'm saying, Debo? I'm one of the people. Anything over 20 feet is a yacht to me. Hey, Debo, listen here. You know the people that I know that know about these mega yachts, the people that wrote the checks for the team, the hats that we wear. Like, those guys, when they see people. I ain't going to lie to you. I ain't never seen the Steelers on a mega yacht. Not even saying the Steelers, but they could. those are the type of billionaires we not they're writing we do call it out here joe listen let me listen to me debo when people get to talking about 500 000 to someone is a dollar to someone else it's different brackets to it so it's just because when people know how much money that we make our scholar with our salaries 50 they know how much lebron james makes they don't when when Apple, Elon Musk, when the guys that own these gas stations, the owner of Chevron, these people are making billions of dollars.
21:25James Harrison:So$500 ,000 to them, for them to be able to just go do something is the same way that a person making$100 ,000 is to them. So just keeping things relative, it's crazy when you start saying, oh, this man making$40 million. Yes, but the owner of that team that's able to pay this salary of 340, they're making 500 million. And they have other businesses that have billions of dollars. So it's a percentage of the small percent. But New York is like LA, that these people are the big time markets where the dudes moving around there, that's where the money flows. That's where dudes got that type of cheese that is uncomfortable to talk about.
22:07James Harrison:I'm not familiar. And listen, Joe, I just need to find out where them seats he is, who's sitting in them. Yes. I just need to get next to them. You, you, you, you. I ain't going to lie to you, Joe. I ain't trying to figure out how to get it, you know, the right way. I'm going to rob his ass. No, no. See, that's what I'm saying. But this is the other part, too. With the season tickets, so say the Knicks fans, too, they're able to get, if you have season tickets, you have right to first refusal. So say, like, the ticket price for the floor seats during the regular season, they value from$2 ,000 to$5 ,000.
22:39James Harrison:So if you were to buy, say, maximum price, $5 ,000 for season tickets, for floor seats, you get 41 games, 41 home games, 5 ,000 times 41,$205 ,000. Oh, Lord, Jiminy Crickets. But that's for 41 games season tickets. What do you mean 41 games, Joe? Listen, listen, listen to me. If you live in New York and those tickets are$5 ,000 on a ticket price, that's what you get them for. When they have LeBron James, the Lakers come in town, you can sell that ticket for$20 ,000 for that game. So season tickets holders, you have the right to, those are your tickets for$5 ,000 and that's a good price. But knowing on average when the Lakers come, when other teams come, these tickets can go up to crazy values.
Read the full transcript
23:23James Harrison:So that's why their floor seats now, that$39 ,000 is the ticket. It goes up during the playoff to where you can go first to right refusal. I'm just letting you know how the tickets go. so they can either get it for that or they'll sell it for now$100 ,000. If you got your tickets and you know you can get them for the floor seats, ticket, season ticket order, it's 20 grand. You gonna pay you 20 grand? Can I ask you a question? Or you gonna sell it for 100? Can I ask you a question? Yes. How the frick am I supposed to pay$240 ,000 for season tickets? That's what I'm trying to tell you is that's just for the floors.
23:59James Harrison:You can get other tickets in there for around like$5 ,000. for the season. Do you know what I'm saying? But you would have a different bowl, and those ticket averages would be$100 per ticket. And those are the ones that when the playoffs come, those can get a lot of$600. That's the price I'm used to paying, Joe. No, no, no. I'm saying, I'm giving you the New York season ticket courtside prices, and that's the high, high. When you come to Cleveland, say it's 41 games, and we can get it from$2 ,000 a ticket, the season tickets for floor might be around$100 ,000. You know what I'm saying? For floor season for Cleveland.
24:32James Harrison:But then for certain games, when people come into town, I'm just letting you know. But regular season tickets. Damn, I should have been playing basketball. Yeah. But that's why I think the season ticket holders, they're in a position where you know you can, if I'm a big fan, how much are you a fan? Are you a fan that you could keep your ticket for, you could pay$700 for your ticket in the higher bowl and keep it to go see your team? or you know your ticket is going to sell for 20 grand. You can make$15 ,000, watch it at the crib, or go to the game. So that's where I'm like, that's a resale price.
25:11James Harrison:It's an investment. I got to invest. You're in low key. You're looking at it. You're going to go to the game. I'm looking at it the wrong way. It's 41 games. When you're looking at the season tickets for the football games, just dividing it by 16. You're going to 41 basketball games. You got those season tickets regardless. I ain't never paid that much money for no season ticket job. I ain't never paid that much money for no season ticket job. I'm just saying. Oh, my God. It's going to be Christmas job. Let's go on over here to the Steelers, man. Jalen Ramsey, new Steelers, D.C. Patrick Graham.
25:42James Harrison:His quote was, he's impressed so far. He said, I think it's cool just the conversations we have. We're able to talk ball at any given time about anything, different positions. He can talk it all. He can talk about the D-line, the linebackers, the secondary. He's been impressive so far. Joe. Yes. That right there. What does that statement say to you? It says that he has a good understanding of defense, and I think Jalen Ramsey sees that and respects it, and they can talk ball. I mean, that's kind of what I'm getting. What you get? This is what I'm getting because you and me, we've been to games.
26:25James Harrison:So what Jalen is saying here is that he has not maybe been in a position, at least in Pittsburgh, where he could have these communications with the D.C. and talk football at every position at any time. So the D.C. should always have a total understanding of the whole defensive scheme at every position. And you know what I'm saying? Like, that's just how it works if you're a D coordinator. Like, we sat down with Coach LeBeau. Coach LeBeau had a great understanding of the whole defense from top to bottom. Now, given that you're a D coordinator in the NFL, you should have that. Now, that leads me to remind you of our conversations that we had with players last year that said at different times they were told different things by different coaches on the same defense yes so right now i think as we know it he's speaking to the fact of you know what i'm being told something and i am being told it by a person who is giving me that information and able to get information at every position and this right now is actually impressed me so far yeah Because probably something he hasn't had in Pittsburgh since he's got there.
27:47James Harrison:So when you look at the last whatever it is, the few years that we've had Ramsey there, and we got the players that we have on defense. And it's too many times last year where, well, sometimes, well, too many. Too many. Yeah. Where we had the defense and we're looking like, yo, what the hell are they doing? Can't do that. It's not going to work. And everyone is not on the same page. Yes. And that's what you get. You see, players know where you're supposed to be, when you're supposed to be there. And we have players right now on that field that we know can ball at every position that have had success at every position.
28:36James Harrison:And some of them are the best at that position or one of the best, the top five in that position. And we end up as a 26 ranked defense in the NFL. But the players we have are top in the league. That don't work. It's because the defense is not sound. And right now he's like, yo, I'm liking it so far. I'm able to communicate. I'm able to talk ball with my D coordinator about anything in every position and not saying, oh, hell, let me go see what this is and that is. That is how it should be with any D coordinator. But as you, I know, and I know at times that's not what it is because the position itself isn't filled by somebody that is capable, and this is what you get.
29:21James Harrison:Yeah. I think this is a great sign. It's just that he's saying the same thing. Especially when you're in the secondary and when you're a vet now, and Jalen Ramsey is to that position where he's not just knowing, He doesn't need to just know what he's playing, what his position is. Cornerback. He knows what he's doing. I know safety. I know all of that. When I'm having communications now with my linebackers, with the D-line, when I'm hearing what's going on, when I'm checking the stuff to when I see things, because I'm in the back end, I have a big old view. Like the linebacker and the safety, you see everything.
29:52James Harrison:Cornerbacks, you're on the side. You got your backer that's standing up, and you got a safety that can read. You can see the field. You're evenly in the middle. he wants to get a complete understanding and knowing like when I say something the linebackers are understanding it's not foreign to them they understand that we're speaking the same verbiage the offensive the defense alignment they know what's going on so I think when he's saying that to his coach he's being able to say I'm a DB obviously I know exactly what's going on there so now when I'm talking to my coordinator we're coordinating how everything works together like when we're speaking the same language we're talking to the linebackers we're talking about how the defensive line sees it.
30:28James Harrison:We're all on the same page. So now the busts aren't happening. And that's one of the biggest things. You say people not knowing what's going on. I'm like, it's just because if somebody's running free, there's a reason. If a body's on a body and somebody makes a play, we can live with that. Like, that's okay, man, make a tackle. Boom, boom, boom. Like, that's the technique thing. If there's a mental error where there's no physical skills that need to be done, if there's two people right here and both of us are standing on one of them, Something's mentally wrong here. We did something wrong. If we got a body on a body and they make a play, line it up.
31:03James Harrison:You know what I'm saying? So I think I'm loving what he's saying. When I'm talking to my coach, nothing is formed. We're all speaking the same language. The D-line, the linebackers, the secondary, the communication is what I'm impressed with that, boom, that's what it needs to be. So when we go out there and there is mistakes and things happen, we know exactly what it is. It's not what we're taught. That's on you. Like, what are we doing? We did not go through it like that. So it's accountability because if you tell me what I need to know and I know what I got to do, and now everybody in here, we're on the same page.
31:33James Harrison:We feel more comfortable to be able to have my resources. Now we are all on the line. Yeah. Now you don't have where you had last year where Jalen's sitting back there. He's like, yo, what the y 'all doing, bro? Like, come on. His hand's in the air. He on the field. Like, what's going on? Yeah. I'm with it. The secondary coach, though, Joe Witt Jr. said he sees shades of Hall of Fame defensive back Charles Woodson and Ramsey. Ooh-wee! He said the way we use Charles Woodson in Green Bay, he played the star, he played corner, he played safety, he played the money. He did all those things. Charles could do it all in one game.
32:14James Harrison:He's one of the rare guys that can do it. Jalen has similar skill set, similar size, similar speed. I'm just excited to see how we work with him and the way we use him. Yes, sir. You know, that's what happens. And Ramsey ended up saying, like, so here, I'm going to say this. So a coach that has coached a player that he actually helped develop and put into and bring to the level of a Charles Woodson. OK, this right here is one of the things I talked about. We both talked about when you're hiring a coach on your staff and it's a buy in dynamic of having coaches that have a history of developing and coaching great players.

36:08James Harrison:When they asked Ramsey about the comparison, he's like, yo, it means a lot. He said, Charles is definitely one of the best, if not the best, to ever play the game. He's talking about being able to switch back and forth and say something like that. He said he's definitely somebody I've looked up to knowing that I'm around coaches who he was around in some of the best years of his career is pretty cool. Look, automatic buy-in again. You got the coaches that coached a Hall of Fame player. Now, what you got now is you got Jalen Ramsey, who is sitting there buying in. This is a veteran player, a leader on this team.
36:59James Harrison:He knows ball. He plays ball. This man has been to three first all-team all pros, seven-time pro bowter. And now he's looking like, oh, I'm working with a guy that can possibly give me some new or different insight to help increase my game. And he's what, 10, going on 11 years into the game. You have that right there. And your coach and your player that's a veteran player, the young guys around you are like, yo, we're buying in. Yeah. This is why you hire people and don't worry about them taking any credit from you. No, because you want the best coaches that are able to make your players the best that they can be.
37:41And when I see this, I think amazing because Jalen Ramsey is a baller.
37:47James Harrison:Charles Woodson is elite. Charles Woodson is one of the best defensive backs to ever play the game in the history of the NFL. And when we talk about Charles Woodson, it's the cornerback. It's how he went to safety. But the one thing about him is he turns the ball over. He had 65 picks in his career, 13 touchdowns. And then with these forced fumbles, being able to just be creative, punching the ball out. I think Jalen Ramsey and him in their first 10 seasons have very similar stats. I think Jalen Ramsey, if he's able to just the same thing, he has that size to where he is going to be able to transition to safety.
38:22James Harrison:He's physical. He like it. He's physical. He wants all that smoke. And it's not it's not foreign to him. So him being able to get one his and he was running for three coming out. So Jalen Ramsey is an athletic freak. So him being able to have a coach that coach someone like Charles. Charles is unbelievable, and Jalen Ramsey is in that same aspect. If you can be healthy, he's in the game. He's a vet. He knows ball. Coach is getting him into positions to where he can make these plays. Last season was the most sacks he's ever had. He's been in the league 10 years. He doubled his sack total with three sacks last year.
38:56James Harrison:Being able to get him blitzing, being able to use him around the line, being able to guard him on the tight ends, being able to, you know what I'm saying, just move him as you use Charles Woodson. I think it's very, very good for him being able to stay healthy and now being on the team where everybody's on the same page, the defenses are all communicating. I'm happy for Jalen. I think this could be a very, very breakout year for him. I'm thinking now just turning over the ball too. Being in the right spots. I think our big thing for our defense is no bust and catch the ball. When the ball comes to you, intercept it.
39:29James Harrison:These interceptions are going to be huge. Charles Woodson, nine picks in 2009. Get on the jugs, bro. Get on the jugs. No ball in the air needs to be picked. There should be no balls bouncing on the ground. You know what I'm saying? So just be in the spots, be in your right spaces. Don't be trying to cheat to go get the picks. When you're in the right position, the ball's going to hit you in the face. All you need to do is catch it. You know what I'm saying? So just being in the right position, making turnovers, I think that's going to help us out big time. For sure, for sure. Look here, brother.
40:01James Harrison:Miles Garrett wants to learn from Aaron Donald at the trade. Has Rams legend moves over the NFL comeback? Listen, listen, I don't want to play sound yet. Hold up, hold up. Listen. You know what? Go ahead and play the sound. I haven't talked yet, but definitely expect to talk soon. I don't know what his plans are, and I'm not going to pretend to know. I know a lot of people are excited and thrilled about the idea of him coming back. But, you know, just being able to talk to him, learn from him, and I'll take all the advice I can. You know, he's a great one for a reason. So, you know, just trying to get him in here and talking to the guys, especially the defensive line, that can mean a lot.
40:46James Harrison:And if we can take anything from him, I think it would help our game.
40:55James Harrison:Joe. Yes. Yes.
41:00James Harrison:So, do you think AD coming back, or is it a possibility AD coming back? What's going on here? I don't know what's going on. I don't know. Look, there is an option of AD. No, it's not. It ain't no option. I would say, look, if I'm Miles Garrett and I'm on the Rams, and AD used to play for the Rams, I'm doing the same thing Miles Garrett is doing. He's there. He's good. He's happy. But if they're talking about AD, the question was asked, Yes, it would be great to get him back there. What is A.D. saying? Does anybody know what A.D. saying? A.D. is posting little pictures. A.D. is doing the A.D. A.D., you know what he's doing?
41:38James Harrison:He's doing A.J. Brown. He's posting subliminals. He's posting subliminals. One day I'm in the office. A.D. He's messing with people's emotions right now. That's what he's doing. Look here. Look here. I don't know if he's going to come back. Aaron Charles Downey. I don't think he's going to come back. A. Be a man of your word, bruh. and keep your ass at home. Don't come out of retirement, dog. You said you wasn't going to do it. Don't you do it. I don't want you doing it, okay? You know what? The only reason why you don't want him, if he came back to the Steelers, would you want him? Joe, Joe, Joe, no, no, no, no, no.
42:11James Harrison:We can't have him come back. Listen, Joe, Joe, that's going to mess up things, okay? Now, I got to talk to his ego now. Look here. AD, AD, look here. If you come back, you're letting these people control you, okay? And I ain't never known you to be a man and let somebody control you. You spent your whole career controlling others and forcing your will on them. Don't you let them manipulate you and control you into coming back, A.D. You be a man of your word and you stay. You stay. You stay retired. A.D., grown man. No. A.D., you are a grown man. If you feel like your time is done, if you're a time is done, don't you come back.
42:48James Harrison:Your time is done. I'm talking to your ego. Don't you come back. Now, if that don't work, Joe, I'm going to speak honestly. Why? I don't. I'm going to speak honestly. Listen, I'm going to try honestly. If it don't work, I'm trying both. Look, man. You on the inside. When I was on the outside, that's four. At least five awesome from linemen to block y 'all. They go the whole damn line. That ain't fair. B.D., bro, you okay. How we going to win a championship? If both of y 'all over there, we're going to be fighting. Fighting. Like fighting for our life. Joe, hey, AD, be a man of your word. Don't let them manipulate you when coming back.
43:31James Harrison:You said you were staying out. You got all these good businesses going on, man. You know how bad that feel on your body, man. The pain and stuff that you go through, man. Listen, it ain't right. It's cheating. It ain't meant to be. Matter of fact, now you think about it. You remember with Tom Brady and Randy Moss, they got together. They went 16-0. They went 16-0. They lost in the Super Bowl. You don't want that to happen now, do you? That's because it was too good of a thing. They knew they shouldn't have did that. They shouldn't have allowed that. Oh, Deebo, you not letting it happen. I'm going to talk to Risa Dadell.
43:58James Harrison:I'm going to make sure. It'll be too much smoke. It'll be too much smoke. That's why. Hell yeah. A.D., don't let them manipulate you into coming back. You a man of your word. You don't let them talk you into coming back. You said you wasn't coming back. You got it. He said he was done. He said he proved everything he needed to prove. You said you proved everything. Don't let them talk you into coming back. Don't let them... Got a ship and all. Yep. Coming back. Wow. That's what they would be doing to you. They'd be forcing your hand, forcing you to come back. Manipulation. Don't, don't. Okay, look, Debo, I'm glad that I understand that we're on the same page.
44:38James Harrison:Because right now, all you're doing is talking to the ego because you don't want Aaron Donald back. Because you know what type of smoke that'll be. You're damn right. Okay. All right. What do I want that back for? No, no, no. I'm just saying. Listen, man, we got championship. We got championship. We got some Super Bowl dreams online, and that's going to be it. We got that. Roger Goodell, listen to me. You have to meet him there. That is not what's good for the league, to see your whole offensive lines blocking two people. How does that go look? Don't you let that happen. Don't. I'm just saying, for the good of the game, I'm just saying.
45:22James Harrison:I'm just saying. It'd be crazy to see. Shut up, Joe.
45:31James Harrison:Teebo, you stupid. You don't want no smoke. I understand those two of the best defensive players of our time. They had two three chasing this dude. They had two three. They're going to bring after Miami just to pass the damn ball. I feel you. I feel you. I feel you. Roger Goodell. He went three defensive player of the years. That's a lot of defensive player of the years right there. It's a lot of trophies. AD, don't let them manipulate you, man. Aaron, Charles Don, you be a man of your work. Deebo, you're blessed. Hey, listen. Listen. Don't forget how your body hurt after them games. That's what I'm saying.
46:11James Harrison:Your best case scenario is he's been out. He's been chilling. He said he was done. You know what I'm saying? Like, only reason why I was thinking about it, because he said if, who was coming there? If somebody were to come there, he would think about. No, no. Whoever. It was somebody, but then now it was Miles. I think it was Micah Parsons. It was Micah Parsons. They said if he would have came there, what do you think about coming there? No, hell no. Hey, it ain't Micah Parsons. He said he would. It ain't Micah. Bro, this is what I'm saying, though. I don't care what you said. Be a man of your word.
46:43James Harrison:Hey, that's what you said. That it had to be Micah Parsons. It ain't Micah Parsons. and it's even Myles Garrett. So now he might be thinking, he's posting a picture. He said that was the only way he would think about it, and he didn't come there. So don't be thinking about nothing. You know how you don't... Listen, stop me. Myles Garrett got way more sacks than Micah Parsons. And I'm not knocking it at all, but so Aaron, I'm like, man, I got... Who, who, hold up. You ain't got a dog in the fight. You a Browns and a Steelers fan, And what is you doing? My – what? What you mean what I'm doing? You're a Browns fan for a Steelers fan second.
47:22James Harrison:And you talking about comeback AD. What you think you going to do to your Browns? When they going to play us? I don't even think they're on the schedule. I ain't tripping. I forgot about that. I forgot about that. We the only one got a chance to play it. We got time. Because you don't care about the Steelers. All you care about is the Browns. I do care about the Steelers. And we would have to see them in the Super Bowl. We gonna see them in the Super Bowl Yes So don't even You wanna figure out how to But look You wanna figure out how to block these niggas in the Super Bowl bro Man listen We in the Super Bowl We got a whole different I mean I'm I'm excited We got a whole different problems Yes we can beat anybody We make it there Any given Sunday Let's see If you think they go undefeated They're gonna go undefeated Bruh There's no way you gotta bring in six linemen Then they could lose in the Super Bowl Now you lose in the receiver Alright D-Bow We're running back You can't run the ball What is you doing?
48:12James Harrison:This your first. Look, you got to have some time. You just sound scary now. I ain't never seen you sound as scary. I ain't never seen you sound as this scary like this before. I ain't scared, but I know. You sounded kind of scary. Oh, what you mean you going to do? How are you going to do it? We only got five. We only got five linemen. We only got five. Miles Garrett didn't get no sacks versus the Steelers. Where's that energy? Where's that energy? You putting AD inside now. Uh-huh. Okay. You putting them both on the field. Listen, I can't go crazy. You see Debo now. I can't talk crazy, goofy like that.
48:45James Harrison:You going to put both of them on there? Okay, both of them on there, but then it's both. Both of them? So you going to put both of them? You want to stress them? Put both of them on the same side. Stress them? Put both of them. Okay. Both of them. Okay? Yeah. Okay. Man. I ain't never seen you be like this, Debo. Like I lied. So I lied now. So now they just scary. That's what it sounds like to me. Bruh. Bruh. Listen here, man. There'll be trouble. Man that was blocking him ain't on the field right now. Who were blocking Miles last year? Who? For us. He hurting? Yeah. Well, he ain't poor. Go. See, he going to be all right.
49:29James Harrison:He going to be healthy. We didn't even pick up his option, bro. Ah, yep.
49:38James Harrison:Look, our project, D-Boy, what about your project, man? Yeah, that's a project. Listen, man. What about your project? Man, we got good coaches. Listen, man. We got good line coaches. I know. Listen, man. I know how to live in reality sometimes, too, though. Wow. Okay? You put both of them dudes on the same side, man, you turn the whole line that way. We going to go the other way. Separate them. And then if you split them, oh, hell no, bro. Man, you naughty. You naughty. I'm U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
