In short

The hosts break down two games: the Steelers’ offensive struggles vs the Patriots (including big plays and turnovers) and the Browns’ upset win over the Buccaneers.

Guests

No separate guests are named; the episode is hosted by James “Deebo” Harrison and Joe Hayden.

Key claims (Steelers vs Patriots)

Pittsburgh’s offense can’t sustain drives due to offensive line problems and poor execution; DK Metcalf drops key passes; defensive coverage fails on explosive plays (e.g., Henry and Dobbs big gains). They argue the defense “gave a chance” (13 points allowed, sacks, takeaways) but missed big-play prevention.

Notable examples (Steelers)

30-yard pass to Henry; 39-yard TD run; multiple sacks/fumbles including a strip-sack scoop-and-score; a 60-yard pass; repeated stalled drives including a 4th-and-43 punt.

Key claims (Browns vs Buccaneers)

Cleveland’s defense makes stops and creates a short field via an interception return; offensive line penalties and execution issues are still criticized, but the Browns win 23-19.

Notable examples (Browns)

Watson boot/pressure play to Concepcion; multiple field-goal attempts; a Miles Harden interception return to the Tampa 28; Baker Mayfield scrambling and connecting on key plays.

3:38Welcome back to this episode of Debo and Joe. I'm your host, James Debo Harrison, and I'm here with my co-host, Joe Hayden. Hey, please make sure you like, subscribe, and download where you get your show. How you doing today, Joe?

3:55James Harrison:Deebo, how you think I'm doing, my brother? How you think I'm doing? I had a outstanding—well, you know what? I'm not going to say it's too outstanding. Because at the same time, you know, I am Distillers. You know what I'm saying? The game. My Browns. How was your weekend? My weekend was great. Weekend was great. We can talk about football, but at the same time, okay, flag football first and foremost. Okay. The Browns, my boys, we ended up coming out there, coming victorious, winning 18, no, winning 12 to 7. 12 to 7. Flag football for the Browns. We won that. Florida Gators belted, not belted.

4:37James Harrison:Okay, we beat Auburn. We beat Auburn. Let me call it that. We beat Auburn 44 to 39. I was about to say it. That's another dub my way. Okay. Like I was trying to figure out too. Ohio State beat y 'all. I said 50. They thought they should go ahead and beat y 'all by 56. You know what I'm saying? Got y 'all out the way. 59 to 3. Shout out to Kent State. You know what I'm saying? They went out there, fought the good fight. You know what I'm saying? It took them a minute to get the wheels running. Deebo like, it took them at least five minutes to score. I'm like this. Deebo just wait. Just wait. It was six.

5:14James Harrison:It was six minutes? It was six. For one of the drives And then next thing you know And the next thing you know What meant to happen Happened D-Bo Y 'all got 50 bold Take that 50 as a man I'll take it At 1.5 I ain't tripping My kids won though My kids won the game They went out there and put actual belt though That's where the heart is They put belt 68 to 6. 68 to 6? They put belt, Joe. No mercy rules. That's what I'm talking about. Yeah. They got a mercy rule. They already had a mercy rule. Well, you know, they don't do the mercy rule until after halftime. They do a running clock? They do a running clock after halftime, but they already had them by like 40-something before the half.

6:05You know what I'm saying? Yeah. That's real belt right there. It got a little ugly. It got a little ugly, Joe. I ain't going to lie to you. But it got a little more ugly as we got to Sunday. Yeah, man. Man, let's just jump into this. Let's go ahead and run it down. Went on ahead and they put hands on us. They put hands on us. 20 to 3, man. Pick it out there. And we get the first drive, bro. First play, we get a yard running. You know why we get a yard running, Joe?

6:42James Harrison:Why we get one yard running? If the man gets hit three yards deep in the backfield, we're lucky to get a yard. He had to fight for the eight when he's behind the line of scrimmage. Like, what are we talking about? We really don't do nothing on the next two plays. We get an incompletion on third down. I think we got to be ran again. Man, it really didn't matter. We put the ball over to the Patriots, man. Yeah, early. First down, man. These Patriots come out here, man. Quick one for nine. Yes. Okay. Second down. they go ahead and they get another, what was it, five, five yards. It ain't a big deal.

7:16I'm having a problem with 9-5. What we talk about, bro? Why is you swimming in the run game?

7:22James Harrison:Yes. Why is you swimming in the run game? And then immediately after that, they go ahead and connect a 30-yarder to Henry on, what was it, brisket? On brisket. Why is he guessing the route? What is he doing? Yeah, that's the sale. He got across the numbers. When he runs over the numbers, that's when he's running an official over route. He just bent it right onto the hash and then turned it back. So that's just, you got to stay on your man right there. He just hit him with a smack. He thought he was running over, hit him with a back. But you got to watch when he's not, when he doesn't cross those hashes, he can still come back.

7:59Right.

8:00James Harrison:Yeah, that's just. He wasn't for Herbert coming up over there and going ahead and doing what we know that boy was going to do over there. What's that, Stevenson or Henderson? That was Henderson, right? Yeah. Henderson, he went on head, punched that thing out. We get the fumble. We recover the ball. We get the ball back. That's when we go and get sacked on second down. Like, we almost got sacked. Right, because it was so bad because the offensive line was getting pushed so far back that we couldn't go behind the line of scrimmage. Who gets pushed so far back? You ran into the under. You ran into the linemen, and you're trying to run behind the line of scrimmage to get the little drag.

8:39James Harrison:Aaron Rodgers don't have nobody to throw it to. Ain't got nobody to get. Ain't got nobody. We got to punt the rock back over to these boys again. Three and out. Quit. Real, bro, real quick. Three and out. They get the rock back. First down, I think it was an incompletion or something like that. I think the second down, they might have got like three or five yards or something like that. Yep. Third down. We get a sack by Jalen. So inflicted. Highsmith. Highsmith. Offside. Offside. They make it. End up getting to what is a third and one. Yep. Quick one. Get the first down. And then it's a 38-yard touchdown run, bro.

9:26Yeah. B-Dub cannot get off the block, bro. And it looked like he hit it wrong. It looked like he should have been hitting it on the inside, spilling it over to Queen so Queen can get over the top. Queen, you got the running back. You got the tackle sitting right there in front of you. He pulls. Don't wait. Just go. You wait long enough to have the tackle dragging on you, it really wouldn't have mattered because P hit it wrong. And he wouldn't have been able to get over the top anyway. And now it's 39 yards for a tutty.

9:55James Harrison:And my whole thing is in the secondary, we just got to get it. We have to make a tackle just to get him onto the grass. You know what I'm saying? at the end of the day, he breaks through. We got to get him on the ground. This is why I was telling you again. It's explosive. It was explosive. Why we keep Elandon Roberts. Elandon Roberts is coming downhill. He's bopping that. He's coming off the block, man. I don't care what anybody says. Elandon Roberts is coming downhill, and he's bombing on that. If he don't do nothing else but bomb that tackle back into the running back and slowing down, that's going to happen.

10:26They up seven night, man. We get back out there. I think first down, we got like nine to move. To move, yes. Second down, I think it was, what, first down because it was short. It was a short one right there. We ended up moving it a little bit. We actually moved on that one. I think we moved the key line a little bit on that play. Like, that was the first one that I saw some positive movement. Ended up hitting Washington, I think, for about seven and eight. Ended up dumping it again, get the first down. It's a nice little drive we had. Right, right. We had a nice little drive going, brother. We end up, you know, stalling out.

11:03Second, what was that, third down? Third and six, brother. Bruh, where are you looking at? What are we looking at? You ain't blocking soul, bruh. Nobody. You ain't blocking soul. We got to settle for a 57-yard field goal that we missed. Yes. 7-0. Now, they got a short field. They had midfield. Like, first down, what was it, a run? Yep. Queen hits it too thick. He can't get off. Second down, I think it was, they ended up hitting Diles. Diles for the screen. For the screen. He made it to a quick, I think it was like third and one or something like that. They end up converting first down again. And then on the first down again, my guy, 9-5, if you do not stop swimming in the run game, I don't know who is allowing you to swim in this run game.

11:55Pecco, I know you ain't allowing these boys to swim in the run game. I know you ain't. don't nobody swim in the run. You swim in the run game, you open up the gap. Both times, you open up the gap and made it wider. And then you go to clapping your hands after you done got pushed up out of there.

12:07James Harrison:Yep. We can't do that. We can't do that. It's just disciplining his gaps. You right. You're making it foggy for the man behind you. That's something that is not yours. Stay in yours so he knows just once it's his. Bruh, what was it, second down, was it 29 or something? Like, something like that with a P.I.? Mm-hmm. Okay. It's first and goal. What is it? They end up getting a false start. We got lucky on that. Oh, no. We're talking about when they hit the, when they got the bomb, that was on P-Dub. When they got the bomb down, it was on P-Dub to the tight. Yeah, 29. That was for 29. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

12:47That was for 29 right there. They got a PI, but they ended up, you know, declining it or whatever it was because they made the thing. They ended up getting to, what was it, a first and goal, something like that. They get a false start. We get a sack, I think. That's when TJ. TJ got the sack. TJ got the sack. And then I think it was him and 99, they combined for that sack. But, okay. But, dude, did you see old boy's ankle? Oh, my. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And they go talk about the man did it on purpose. It's a dirty play. How in the hell did you think he was purposely trying to swing his body?

13:21James Harrison:He's trying to dive and strip sack the quarterback. He's trying to get the quarterback in any way possible. You know how that is. People are getting folded underneath all the time. It's unfortunate. But you're trying to make the main thing the main thing. He ain't got no time to be worried about taking nobody's legs out. He's trying to strip sack the quarterback. He's ball searching. No question, bro. We end up being able to hold him to a field goal. Cool. They kick it. They make it. What is it? 10-0 right now? Yes. 10-0. All right, cool. we get out there and we move the ball a little bit and we go for it with that fourth.

13:59We go for it. This is when we kept getting the ball to Bernard finally.

14:02James Harrison:Bernard started spazzing. He started spazzing out a little bit. I don't know why he ain't been in there more if he started spazzing out a little bit. Next play, we get a little bit of pressure. It's a free runner. It's a no-touch again. It's third. What was it? He hit Bernard again. What was it? First and it ended up being like a first and 10 or something. and he ended up getting the first and 10 off of that one. Okay. Now, that's like our first, what, third down conversion right there? That was our first one. I think we only had, what, two or three of them all again. Man, listen. Yeah. The first.

14:37Hey, listen. Yeah, what's. I ain't tripping, bro. I ain't tripping. Bernard do a little something. You know, he started doing this thing again. He get like another 10 or something, whatever. We still moving the ball a little bit. You know what I'm saying? We moving the ball a little bit. Then, you know, it's Aaron, you know. He goes on. I think it was, what was it, DK? Yeah. Dude, it was, what was that, second down? It was incomplete because, like, Aaron can't even, he ain't got time to get the ball out, bro. Like, we ended up getting to a third and seven. We get knocked out of field goal range because we get sacked, fumbled, 40 yards lost.

15:12Like, dude, it's a twist game, 60. 60, it's a twist game, bro. You got to come up over that.

15:18James Harrison:You think that's 76, right? No, I think it was him and 60. He's the left tackle. The last one came free and smacked A-Rod. Oh, yes. On the left side. Yes, brother. I'm tripping. I'm thinking of playing before. No, no, no. That was left tackle on the left side came and got him smacked. He ended up being able to run down and get the joint. But I'm like, that was the widest man. And A-Rod, zero, zero pressure. Looking for something new? Try fencing, the Olympic and Paralympic sport that mixes speed, strategy, and fun. 18:13James Harrison:Came running down. He's blocking down with the guard. Free runner. Bam! Yeah, because that's where Dotto ended up hurting himself, trying to make the tackle. Man. Yeah. We got to punt the ball. We wasted seven minutes, bro. No points. Boy, that thing went to 4th and 43. Bro. Bro, I was so... 4th and 43, bro. Yeah, that was sick. Wow. Boom. Yeah. Listen, I ain't tripping, though. I'm still – we still close. We still close, right, Joe? We still close. I ain't tripping, Joe. Hey, let's get the ball back. You know what I'm saying? We get a – what was it? A roughing on 95 on that first down. That was an incompletion or something like that.

19:00I think it was – yeah, I think it was 95. I ended up getting a roughing, bro. But I ain't tripping. I ain't tripping. May I think he hit Hollins for like 10 yes and then he scrambled for like 7 and then Henderson we dropped him for a loss of 3 the defense

19:20James Harrison:brother they was doing their thing but it's just it's just some it's just the explosives it's explosives it ain't no just though it's explosives okay we gonna keep going okay third down old Highsmith batted the ball down they gotta make the rock oh cool cool we get back out there again. And the first down, Rodgers running for his life again. Nope. Running for his life. We, he's not, we don't need to, if we don't have the run game going, the boot really ain't going to work. And A-Rod is not really that damn fast. So, I'm like, if nobody's, they're literally not respecting the run. So they booting, they coming right at it, right after A-Rod.

20:00James Harrison:And they're getting pushed back. I'm like, we got him looking crazy. Yeah, Homer, he went out there. He got a quick 14 on that second down, though. He went on ahead and got us there. The Dodgers ended up having to scramble on the next second down. But we ended up getting the P.I. that gave us first. So, all right, cool. Yes. We at the first. We try another now to DK. We're trying to just get the ball in his hands and trying to get him going. Yeah. We get a loss on that. Loss. He gets jumped. I think second down, it was Warren. He might have got, what, maybe a yard or two. A yard or two. And again, we got to punt the right back over.

20:42We can't get nothing together. Defense comes out there and steps up, forcing a three and out. Because on the first down. Swat. T.J. That's it. Hey, held it down. Listen, we're going to have. They got to punt the right, Joe. We're getting the right back, Joe. Come on, D.

21:03James Harrison:Great job, defense. Come on, O, let's do something. Before half. Two-minute drill. Two-minute drill. We ever get something together. Biles work comes through for us. We come in that thing. Three to ten. I ain't tripping. I ain't tripping, Joe. Three to ten, I think it could have been a little better. A thousand percent. We could have been six to three. Us. Could have been. Could have been, Joe. I ain't tripping. Because I'm trying to see the silver lining still. I'm still trying to see the silver lining, okay? Okay. The hats get out there. in the second half. And on the first down, May to Henry, I think he makes, what is it?

Read the full transcript

21:39He makes it like maybe second and three or something like that. We end up stopping Henderson for like a loss of two. Come on, Highsmith. Highsmith. Yes, sir. Making plays. Yo. And then, we leave Dobbs. Wide open. What's going on, Joe?

21:57James Harrison:All right. We got to keep our eyes on our work. This is when Dean, once it's a zone and you have that man in front of you and it starts to turn into a scramble drill, that receiver is your man. So you have to continue with him. Once it breaks, now we're in zone. Zone turns to man once it turns into a scramble drill. So the very first receiver that's right in front of you, he's going deep. Dean, continue to run with that. You take that now. Do you know what I'm saying? So you just got to scramble drill. Stay with your man. That's an explosive play. That's not a talent thing. It's just, boom, you see what's going on.

22:31James Harrison:We're in the zone. You're standing right over top of him. He's in the flat. He's in your zone. So now once the quarterback goes out, you got to lock in to whoever's in your zone. You make that your man. Definitely. But our guy Patrick McQueen makes a great play. He's in zone. He's relating to the guy that's crossing through his zone. As he does that and turns to drop back, your boy May says, ooh, I can't make the early pass. That was a lollipop. It didn't matter either way because I think he would have still got it. If it was high, it was in great position. Perfect position. Yes. It's pressure on him.

23:06He can't hold it. We get the interception, brother. Yes. We get the ball. And I think it's third down. We get, what was it, a personal foul that's in our favor. Yes. Cool. It gives us a first down. I think Warren gets maybe eight on that next play, something like that. Uh-huh. Second is short. Rodgers hits, I think it was Wilson for the first. And then we got to punt the ball because my man DK drops. DK, I don't know what's going on, bro.

23:39James Harrison:You got to get out your head, bro. I don't think this one was the first one. He dropped the crosser on first and 10. This one wasn't. That was pure. We sitting there ready to go for the next second down. We ain't manageable now. Nope. Make us a second and 10. Rico run for four. and then incomplete pass to Bernard on third and six. Punt. Punt again, bro. Yeah. Like, we ain't getting nothing together. I don't know what's going on. Patrick. Talk about it. Patriots get back out there, bro. And now May, what is it, Hollins? Yep. He gets a hot seven, I think. Second down. Bro, it's a short play. I ain't gonna lie to you.

24:19Yeah, it's a short play. But, B-Dub, you have to get off the tackle. and he pushed him back too on top of it. It's like once he get on, he can't get off. Bruh, I don't know what we're going to do, but what we're doing is not working. Like we have to get somebody in there that can get off of the block. PW, you're not getting off the block. You're making tackles, yes, but you're making tackles down the field after you done had to chase somebody down. like so what is it third and and six or something like that I think they pick up what was it nine may hit Williams or something all right it's another first down and then hell I'm seeing I'm seeing Cam get pushed on this one I'm like what's going on like why is Cam getting pushed brother like I think they ended up getting with nine on that or something.

25:27We get to a third and one and Herbic makes a play. Blows up the screen. Yes, sir. Good play. We end up, hold up, slow down, slow down. They go for the field goal, slow down.

25:42James Harrison:That's what I'm saying. The defense, Ben, but don't break. Ben, but don't break. I like it. I like it, but I don't love it. I know you don't love it, But that's why I can understand they're still getting things done. We're still getting this off the field. Explosive plays. We're going to knock these out. But, like, still missed field goal, being able to stop. They missed field goal. We're still 3-10. Still 3-10. They missed field goal. Still 3-10. We get the ball back. That was easy when DK dropped once we got the ball back. That's the one I'm talking about. The first one was easy, too. It was an old crossing route.

26:21James Harrison:You know what I'm saying? Man, DK, I think now it's in his head because, Depot, you're trying to catch crossing routes like this with your body. You got to be a natural, just smooth. Pluck them. Like when the ball is coming and it's not behind you and it's not a body catch, you just got to be as a wide receiver. You see that thing, you're plucking it out the air. That's how I know he in his head, man. He doing things that you don't normally do as a receiver. That's what I'm saying. When you're starting to use your body on a crossing route, you just are like, oh, my goodness. That looked, I'm like, oh, yeah, he got to get out of his own head.

26:53James Harrison:Because DK Metcalf knows. Like, this is not a, right now you're dropping passes that just regular, we're talking about, we're playing catch, Debo. You know what I'm saying? You're running the drag across the middle, ball's right there, catch it. That's not a$33 million a year receiver route that I'm asking you to catch. So now, like, it's just basic things with DK are starting to look very, very, very difficult. So I'm like, this is something where it's not, nobody can't tell him this because DK knows. He knows. He's pissed. He's looking like, but I'm like, at the same time. I mean, he said it himself.

27:24James Harrison:He said it himself. So I'm not going to sit there and keep jumping on the obvious. It's like this, boom, snag that, period. Pass, get back out there, man. In May, Dobbs, the dude that couldn't catch a cold in Alaska, bro, with COVID around him. 63 yards, bro. What's going on, Joe? Secondary This right here We have basically two sevens We have a low seven And a high seven When we have the high seven Debo The same thing that cornerbacks do Is the same thing that linebackers do High to low They're always trying to get you in a situation When you're in the zones To play high to low When you're the cornerback You see the deepest of deepest I know the safety for sure I don't know what the safety was looking at When we get You start rolling the whole other way There's only two threats coming out From this right side Santi Samuel, still say hi, because we can always react down.

28:21James Harrison:You got Jalen Ramsey, and you have Queen underneath of that sec, of the low seven. You are a corner, and I know corner. You stay as high as the high, deep as the deep. And you got your safety. Y 'all are going to bracket that top. Bro, he wasn't even looking that way, bro. I understand. That's what I'm saying. I'm just saying from the corner perspective. What is he looking at? I don't know. He's running. He's a fastball up on you, bro, and you're looking at this little cup over here. That was a bad speech. I don't know. I don't know what he's looking at. He was looking like he must have thought he was running the post and about to go behind his head, but he ran a seven.

28:53James Harrison:Long story short, both of them need to still stay high. You have to stay high. That's not a talent thing. That's just zones. Stay deep. Stay deepest to deepest. We're getting beat with these explosives that that shouldn't eliminate that. That's not a skill thing. Bruh, the next play, Henry is wide open. Luckily, Cam tipped the ball because that would have been another first down or in the making of trying to get to that first down. We were able to hold them again. Yes. They kick a field goal. It's 13-3. We still got action. 13-3. That's what I'm saying. We still end up – defense, there's explosives just all over the place that are happening, but they're not getting into the zone, so there's positives that we can get out.

29:37James Harrison:When you do get an explosive, trying to get turnover, but just 13-3, You're still trying to keep us in the ballgame. There's things because of the shit show. Definitely. Yes, yes, yes. All right, we get back out there. First down, Dotto, he goes here. He takes the little thing. He go 11 yards with that thing right there, okay? Rodgers, I think we were like, what was it? We get the first down, then we get to a second down. And then we get a holding penalty, right? Hit DK for the 15, finally. About to get the vibes going. Holding. Now we going to hit, I think, his second in forever because we get sacked, fumbled.

30:15No, we get strapped, sacked, scooped, and scored.

30:19James Harrison:That's the one they scooped and scored. Yeah, Debo. Right there. That's right there. When it was 13-3 and it was trying to be cool and we got DK for the 15. That's what made it 20-3. Bring it back, holding. Then once after that, A-Rod trying to hit a little move and you got to protect the rock. Sacked, fumbled. touchdown. Strip, sack, fumble, spoo. On a faux. Faux man rush, Joe. Faux man. Faux man rush. Faux man. You got to protect that. I don't even know why we still going. I ain't even lying to you, bro. The game was over. I thought the game was over right then and there, bro. Right there. We get back out there, add another sack.

30:55I think it was on the third down, whatever. They go ahead, sack Rodgers again. Don't even put him out there no more, man. Game over. It don't even really matter what happened, man. 23. We done lost to the past 23. All right. Now listen, Defense, y 'all did give us a chance to win. They only scored 13 points. We had three sacks. We got two takeaways. And they was only four of 12 on third down. But we gave up too many big plays that led to points. We got a 39-yard touchdown. We got a 24-yard run. We got a 63-yard reception. and like we weren't good enough as a whole period you're talking about 136 yards rushing almost five a carry joe henderson was 16 of 76 okay with a touchdown he got 39 on one play yes yes stevenson this man was running for almost 7.2 a carry joe my inside linebackers brother we gotta get off blocks man offensive linemen getting a hold of us and we're not getting off okay like we gotta especially p-dub you got to get off the blocks i mean that like if we don't get off these blocks brother we're not gonna we're not gonna have a chance queen i need poor i need more production and if you see things faster you react faster that gets you more production like pw is getting production but it's not it's not it's not where it needs to be up front like i don't understand like when it comes down to i don't want listen offense no question come on trash debout we bad the same thing i told you about bro in the preseason i said low i don't know about his offensive line i was real positive before we started playing preseason games and then I saw him play.

33:00That is the problem, brother. That is, and the defense, brother. Defense is a problem too, man. I'm going to stay on the defense because I don't play offense.

33:08James Harrison:You know what? I know. Neither do I. Neither do I. But at the same time, we know what - We know what we got, Joe. Joe, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No. People want to say the offense, D-bow, da, da, da, da. Looking for something new? Try fencing. the Olympic and Paralympic sport that mixes speed, strategy, and fun. And my job as a defensive player, Joe, week in and week out, is to pitch a shutout.

36:00Is that possible? No, it's not. But it's 100 % your job to try and do it every week.

36:06James Harrison:Yes. It's an actual real thing, Joe. Yes. That's what you try and do. That is the mentality. the offense because we don't have an offense, brother. That's what we gotta do as a defense. We gotta do unreal shit! Yeah. No. And that's how the players, that's how Cam, that's how TJ, that's how Highsmith, that's how Herbic, that's how they should play. That's how they should go about it, and that's how they should go and try to be the number one ranked defense because they can. No, no. Understand. Number one ranked defense. That's what we should be. We the highest paid defense. We should be the best defense.

36:43James Harrison:Listen, listen. We got to be the best defense. And the way that we can be the best defense is I'm with you. We have to. I don't care about the offense. Listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen. Like you said, Debo, explosive plays are what crushed us that whole game. First drive, explosive play, pass yard for 30 yards. Second drive, explosive run, 39-yard TD. Third drive of the game, explosive pass for 30 yards. Those are the first three drives. Out of the second half, first drive in the second half, pass to Dobbs, explosive, plaster. Second drive, 24-yard explosive run. Then the next ball on the sixth.

37:30James Harrison:And then we got the explosive. And then the last one, a 60-yard pass, explosive pass for the mixed communication. This man, Drake May, had 14 completions for 208 yards. And four of his completions were for 180 yards. And all of these were the miscommunications. Bro, I don't care. He completed 10 passes for 28 yards. He completed 10 passes for 28 yards. It ain't no taking it away, Joe. Stop with that. Ain't no taking it away. You go back to 2008 when we was a defense in 2008. We had a 22, 23-ranked defense, and we won a Super Bowl. You know why? Because our defense ball, we was number one. We lost a game only giving up 15 points, but we won three games only making 10, 11, and 13 points because that's what we had to do to win the game.

38:19The defense had to do it, and we the highest paid defense, and we ain't doing it. Y 'all, the defense has, they gave up 13 points.

38:28James Harrison:The offense isn't not only hurting, they gave up seven of the points. How you think and feel when you sitting on the sideline still getting scored on? I'm not saying that they played any way the best of their ability. They can do better. And if we want to win, obviously, they're going to have to play elite ball. So if we erase six plays, like there's 80 plays. You can't erase the plays, though. That's like saying if we got six plays on offense. We can't erase them. But look, shit, get better. If we get six plays on offense better, if DK doesn't drop these passes, if you don't get holdings on some of these lives.

39:04James Harrison:Offense got to step up. And we keep the ball. That's what I'm saying. Defense definitely has plays where they can step up. With a couple plays, it's going to make them a whole lot better. Offense, if you don't jump off sides, if you don't hold, if you give Aaron Rodgers a little more time, DK, if you catch a drag. If you catch a drag, if we can run, like offensive line, this is where it starts. Offensive line, trash, like you said. So like we said, they have to figure something out because you can't run the ball with Rico if Jalen Warren is getting hit three yards behind in the backfield, they're killing our drives before the drives even start.

39:36James Harrison:We can't run a bootleg if there's no respect for your run game. A-Rod, they're still, they're not coming, they're not crashing out to the boot. They're flaring right around, making A-Rod look crazy. He's 42 years old too. So offensive line, you guys have to start playing better. You know what I'm saying? And that's where it starts. Then with D.A., you are one. You are a number one. and with everybody all this it's looking crazy that's$30 million a year I need you to catch the rock I need you to catch the rock so you get it we can't have we can't have what we got because we ain't getting too many possessions we ain't gonna get too many times we gonna be able to get the ball to you that's what I'm saying the defense that we have right now that's not gonna happen the defense is getting put in here's the crazy thing listen listen Joe Rodgers was actually 23 of 29 even though he was getting popped man was sacked four times getting his head getting random for his life everywhere like you what are you talking about y 'all can talk about rogers all y 'all want to bro y 'all out of y 'all mind we have anybody else in there we're getting molly whopped we're getting molly whopped like worse than what it is the fact that the man can see it and get it out of his hands in time is actually an advantage especially especially dude the way we got shit going on right now the offensive line is like the heel like dude it is a thorn it is a spike it is cutting off half our body we're trying to run with our legs and we can't keep up we can't do it won't do it, refuse to do it something gotta be done yeah no yes the offense can't play like that Obviously, Debo, that's not going to work.

41:26James Harrison:Offensive line starts with them. DK got to play better. Defense, like you said. We got to do better in our run game. We got to play. We got to do better on all levels. Run game. Run game. Run game. It's giving up too many yards. Too many explosives. Too many explosions. Guys. Giving up plays of 20 plus here. We get 60, a third, 40, damn near 40 yard touchdown, brother. Like, don't get me wrong. So we still, I'm going to get back to it. We still only gave up, what was it, 13 points? 13 points. And like, okay, cool. That's cool. That's cool. But there's places where we could have gave up less. A thousand percent, bro.

42:09Especially in a position like this where we needed to give up less. Yes. We got into it where you could feel it when the game going, where you like, you know, man, I felt it when we was, you know, playing back when I was playing with the boys, man. Like, yo, we got to go out here. We're going to have to get, hey, we need a sack fumble. We need a sack fumble, scoop score. For sure. Interception, scoop score. Like, dude, that's where we at, man. That's where we at right now with the offensive line that we dealing with, brother. Yes, yes, yes. Like, right now, that's all we got.

42:37James Harrison:Like, that's all we got. Like, we're going to keep it a stack. And that's why I'm rocking with you, D-Bell, because when we played as players, we think we got to make all the plays. We want to be the best because we know at the same time, if we're not scoring points over there, our job, we're not on the offensive side of the ball. Our job is to continue to get the ball to them, keep creating turnovers, and execute at a very, very high level. And when we say we're getting paid this much and this is what we're supposed to do, that's the standard they need to be holding themselves to. So when we say you got to get off these blocks, all of these plays, they need to be taken off the script.

43:16James Harrison:on offense. Right. On offense, though, there is another side to where it's a team. It takes two minutes out there to attend, though. If I'm getting you to Brock back, make something happen. Help me help you. You know what I'm saying? Just a couple of more drives. You know what I'm saying? Don't turn it over. Don't give up a scoop and score. Like, while I'm on the bench, we can't be letting the score go up. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's where I'm saying it's still offense. You've got to do better with defense still, for sure. That's not the level But that starts with the offensive line.

43:41Everything starts and ends with our O-line brother. Like, I understand everybody needs to do better. Actually, matter of fact, here's Aaron Rodgers talking about, you know, needing to do better communication and all that other stuff. Even Mike had ended up Mike McCarthy said something about it in his press conference saying that, you know, he was putting he felt like he might have been putting too much in. It was he needs to narrow it down because these guys obviously all letting people free is communication issues. But here's what Rodgers had to say. in a game like today where there wasn't a lot of flow to it we need to be better and it starts with me at like making sure Mike knows what's working what's not working our coaches know and so we can call stuff that uh you know we feel like has a better chance

44:24yeah um I think that's obvious it's something like we got we have to cut this down because obviously what's going on he obviously said it he said himself so it's something that's going on with the communication. Actually, Mike said he felt something in the week during practice or something. But, whatever it is we got to do. We got to do. But, defense, we can do better. Y 'all did good enough to win but y 'all ain't do what y 'all could have did.

44:48James Harrison:For sure, with the capable level. Yes. All of those plays, that's crazy. They eliminate that. It's with the big ones when we're saying just the plastering of the receivers. When I'm looking at the explosive plays where Dean, we're right there. All we got to do is plaster the man. You're standing over top of him, bouncing. Do you see the quarterback scramble and you just let him go past you? Stay on that. Deeper than the deepest. It's a two-man route that we got hit with with Dobbs. We're deep. What are we doing? Make him check it down. Dump that down. So, like, then we can rally up and make a tackle.

45:20James Harrison:Those deep passes like that, those are explosives that continue to drive. Some of them, all of them didn't hurt us. We was able to get off the field. But eliminate that so we can punt it. Three and out. Get the ball back to your offense. that's struggling with better field position. We had them at the six. Then we get a 60-yard bomb. Completely flips the field. Help the offense out on this one. Now let's keep them down here. They punt it. We get the ball at the 50. Now it's a shorter field for us to score. We got to work complementary football when your offense is struggling. Definitely, brother.

45:52But you're a Cleveland Browns. Oh! Here, I got my Steelers Browns hat on for you. See that? That still is... I like that hat. I got a little bit of brown color. I got that in for you, man. I like that hat. The Browns went out there and they defeated the Bucs 23 to 19, Joe. Joe, I don't even know if I really watched the game or not, man.

46:14James Harrison:You know what, Debo? Yes, you did. Hey, I ain't gonna lie to you, man. I had to watch it, man. I was trying to find some company. I was trying to find some misery. You know what I'm saying? I was trying to find some misery. That's what I was looking for. Both of them was on at the same time. Both of them was on. I had the split screen. Yo, that's what I... I'm watching both. And I'm sitting over here looking at it. I'm like, oh, man, I don't know, man. By the time I got, when they hit that, I knew it was, when they got that return for a touch, I knew it was over. I went over here and flipped over.

46:42But listen, man, Cleveland came on out there, man. Listen. Yes, sir. I ain't going to lie to you, man. First play, your boy Watson, they did a little naked boot right there, pressure in front of his face.

46:50James Harrison:All in his face. He hit KC Concepcion for that nine piece. I ain't going to lie to you. Yeah. Why do y 'all go and run the Jeff Suite? I don't know. Why do you think? Are y 'all trying to lose? No. Followed by a draw. We're trying to figure out ways to get the ball in our playmaker's hands. Not a great one. He just got nine in his hands, and now you want to try and run. 40 yards across field to pick up a yard, and then you go do the draw on the third and seven? I'm thinking maybe y 'all want to lose this thing. No. All right, anyway. Y 'all put the ball. And this is a flag on the offensive line.

47:24James Harrison:We not even lined up on the ball. That's not, that's just, no, that's not Deshaun's fault. We need offensive line. You got to know, you got to be on the ball. Mm-hmm. Yeah, you got to, man. Y 'all got to punch the ball over there, man. Y 'all spot him, I think, a hot five on that first or whatever it was. I think Godwin went on here and said, ah, give me 12 on y 'all. And then your boy just got paid, Baker Mayfield. He missed Hurst. That was, he just missed him too. If he hadn't missed him, hey. Mm-hmm. Incomplete. It was incomplete, but I'm just telling you. I'm just telling you. I wasn't watching, but I was watching.

48:02Anyway. Long foul ball. By some way, shape, or form, or some, like, y 'all able to hold them. But they, 50, who go for a 59? They went for a 59 on y 'all, Joe. And hit it. And hit it. Three of them. That buddy got a boot? Buddy got a boot on him. Buddy got a boot? About playing with me, man. Okay. Can you even get back out there, man? And it's a Junkins for nine. Uh-huh. It's Junkin for six. Watson say, let me go ahead and hit Fanta for twanking one. Oh, my goodness.

48:34James Harrison:Another under pressure. Yo. Yo, y 'all get the fourth one. And y 'all say, hey, we going to go for it. But y 'all get a far start. Thank you. On this. Thank you. Y 'all got to set up on field goal. It's 3-3. Yeah. 3-3, Joe. Time to get back out there. Hey, they got somebody over there named Irv. Bucky Urban. We got to set the edge. We got to set the edge. 38? You know what I'm saying? Explosive. 38. Ah, we got to make a tackle. We just got to get him on the ground. Hit my man. Got him out of there. We just got to get him on the ground. Great run. And that third down drop by Tampa helped y 'all a little bit, too.

49:12James Harrison:But anyway. Oh, no. You know, it's a little bit behind. You know what I'm saying? Gainwell. Ah. A little bit bad pass. Field goal. Field goal. Way to get a stop, Browns defense. Way to get a stop, Browns defense. Hey. Hey. They let him get three by going and letting him get 38. Don't worry about it. Clearly, y 'all get the ball back, man. Hey, and Tampa's defense, they said, uh-uh, we're going to stand up for once. See, and this is – first we get two, then Fannin, my man, he missed the block on the run, which got him to lose four. And then we checked the check down, dropped it. So, you know, just a little – Yeah, you got to put the ball on over, man.

49:52James Harrison:Yeah, we did. Put the ball on over it. And then y 'all go ahead and give it to them boys. And y 'all get to a third and 10. Y 'all supposed to be doing that. And y 'all let Baker Mayfield go ahead and scramble out on 14. Okay. Okay. Good work. Good work, Baker. And what happened right after that? Huh? What happened right after that? Yeah. Miles Harden dropping right back in the coverage. I don't know what you're talking about. It's always deep too short. I keep on trying to tell the corners. If nobody's in front of you, continue to seek back. Miles Harden. Give me that. That boy up in our head did that thing.

50:25Come on. He returned it to the Tampa 28. Short field, 28-yard line. Short field, 28-yard line. And you know what y 'all did with it, Joe?

50:36First play. First play. We settled. Tampa got eight. Tampa got unnecessary roughings. It added 12 to it, okay? That moved all down to the 12. Y 'all first in 10 to 12. But then y 'all hold and move you back. and then y 'all get what? Maybe five or something like that. And then what happened on that third down? You got a sack.

50:59James Harrison:And that wasn't even so. Tackle got handled. Tackle got handled. Tackle got handled. Tackle got handled. Got a set for a field goal. And what it is though? What's the score? Six six. Here we go, Brown. I ain't going to lie. I ain't going to lie. Okay, time to get the ball back. Hey, y 'all get them to what was it? Third and 18? Yep. After y 'all got a holding call on Tampa, and then y 'all give up 21, let Baker hit Hearst? Yeah. And we was in the zone. That was a good play. They get paid, too. Found a hole in the zone. Anyway, y 'all hold them the next couple plays. Yeah, punt. Through luck, y 'all punted.

51:37They punted the ball off, man. Defense. I just got to let you know y 'all didn't go 21. Okay. Y 'all get back out there, and Tampa got defense, too.

51:48James Harrison:All right? Yep. So this, our offensive line again, my man, my man, Titus Howard, 71. He had a very tough day. He had a lot of holding. He was getting beat. You know what I'm saying? So I'm going to need him to definitely improve because he was a weak link on our offensive line. Versus Tampa.
