In short

Sports talk focused on NFL contract disputes and injuries, mainly Baker Mayfield’s standoff with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tua Tagovailoa’s back injury situation with the Atlanta Falcons, and Aaron Donald’s potential return. Guests/hosts: The episode is hosted by Deebo and Joe (sports commentators). No specific guest names appear in the transcript beyond the hosts themselves.

Key claims

Baker Mayfield says Tampa Bay disrespected/undervalued him after contract talks, arguing he’s a “franchise quarterback” and citing his leadership and production. Joe counters that both sides have points: Tampa can avoid overpaying, but Mayfield’s healthy 2023-24 output supports his market value.

Notable examples

Mayfield’s stats are cited (second in passing yards and third in touchdowns since 2023; 60-69 passing TDs over a two-year span). Joe mentions other top QB salaries (Jordan Love, Brock Purdy, Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts). For Tua, the show speculates his back “tightened” due to circumstances during camp and discusses Cooper Rush as the backup option. For Aaron Donald, Miles Garrett is quoted saying he’d be excited to team up, but Donald’s comeback is considered unlikely.

3:10James Harrison:Speaking of quarterbacks, bro, Baker Mayfield, my man, He said he felt disrespected, undervalued by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because of the offer they gave him, man. Listen to what he said. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, obviously, I've told you guys I've been pretty upfront and honest about my feelings about Tampa. It being home for now our family. We're raising kids here. We love it here. I wanted the deal done and set the deadline and told them it was going to be all ball after that. And I did mean that. And I don't know if they thought I was just going to take some of the offers that they gave. But I'm at the point of my career and understanding what I've brought to this franchise.

3:51One, I'm very, very thankful for the chance they gave me. Do not get me wrong on that. But I also know, I really know what I've brought to this franchise leadership-wise and even play-wise. It's been some of the best years of my career. And I think it's only going to trend upwards, just being comfortable and feeling that. So disappointing in that regard to not have, you know, to feel disrespected a little bit. And that's really the disappointing part, to feel undervalued after, you know, thinking you've earned it. This is not a poor me thing. It's there's a lot of people that have it way worse off.

4:24But I can sit here and look at other quarterbacks and peers and evaluate myself based on that and put myself in certain categories that I deserve to be compensated for that. And I think I'm a franchise quarterback. I've been told I'm a franchise quarterback. It's been said publicly from ownership down here. And so to not have a deal done is very disappointing. But I said the deadline was a deadline. And I addressed the team to let them know I meant that. It's all ball. I'm with these guys. I think all the guys that have been here know exactly who I am. The guys that are new here, I wanted to address that because they might have had a notion prior to coming here about who I am as a person.

5:02But it's all team. It's all about winning here now and what we're going to do. And, you know, hopefully Vita gets his back fixed and gets his deal done. I mean, he's the second longest tenured buck behind CG and Vita deserves that. He's the anchor of our defense. And so I hope they take care of him. It's disappointing to say the least, but it's all ball here. And I know I'm going to have a good year. I know this team, the things that we went through last year, put us in a good spot for this year. Depth wise, a lot of guys being thrown into the fire to be able to grow and learn fast. and it didn't go the way we wanted, but it's a new season and it's going to help us in the long run this year.

5:37Added some new pieces and so I'm excited about it. It's all well from here. After today, I'll answer a few more questions about the contract, but after today, I'm not answering anymore because I'm not negotiating anymore.

5:52James Harrison:Got to be more careful. Joe, what do you think? What do you think of the Bucs, man? You think he got a position? You think they should have did something, found out a way, did anything. What do you think, Joe? Hebo, it's tough. It's tough because Baker can feel some type of way and be able to want to get a contract that's compensated with who is it, like his peers. When you see other dudes that are making$50 million that you don't feel like your numbers are better than theirs, when we're looking at Jordan Love, we got Brock Purdy, and we've got all these dudes making$52,$55 million a year. Baker McHale signed a three year,$100 million contract with Tampa.

6:37James Harrison:And he outperformed these other guys since 2023. He's second in passing yards and third in touchdowns. So when you're looking at that from him, like, I don't care how y 'all perceive me. My numbers say that this is what I shall get compensated. And when people are looking at Baker, like we can find another quarterback for you, or we can just leave you under this deal. Then we could tag you if you go ahead and outperform that and play. it's just a tough situation to be in because it's like baker you have a point but at the same time the team has a point to not have not a point but they have a right not to pay you you signed this first contract the three years for 33 you were cut from a couple of teams you first you got a one-year four million dollar from tampa then you outperformed that and they gave you a three-year 100 million dollar contract so i feel where you want to go get that bag too and i'm i'm looking I'm with you, Baker.

7:27James Harrison:But then at the same time, you're looking at them like, do I want to give Baker a three-year? Because he wants to get – I heard one of the things – 50. Guaranteed. They said it was – they gave him up to two years, like a two-year,$102 million contract. But he wants to – Yeah, he said that was not true. He said, okay, he said it's not true. I said, because what's the guaranteed? I think it's all about the guaranteed. Because if the guaranteed – if they offered him a two-year, $101 million contract with 51 guaranteed, they offered him a one-year$51 million contract. Do you know what I'm saying? I would have took that all day.

8:00James Harrison:For sure. So I'm saying with Baker, if his number was around the 50 and they were not looking at something where that, I don't know where that stands. But for him, no, look, I'm not going to talk about the contracts after this. I know I'm going to want to go try to get my back. That's how it looks different now because when you're a wide receiver, they could just tag George Pickett. And they don't make it. It's like, ah, he got hit with the tag. when it's a quarterback, if he wants to go try to outplay this deal, he's making $27 million this year. He's going to feel like, oh, I'm going to outplay this deal.

8:31James Harrison:Then they have the right to tag you. Do you know what I'm saying? Or try to let you go. So I understand what Baker's saying, but they don't have to pay. So this is where it looks like I hear you play what you had to do. You've done your job. So you're expecting a compensation with people you see up the street from you that you had better seasons than. Yeah, I ain't Elijah, bro, at first, I was like, eh, maybe, you know, he might be tripping. But after looking at this, bro, and I'm taking his, I'm taking last year out of it. The reason I'm taking last year out of it is because he was hurt. And when you take last year out of it, you look at his 23, 24 numbers when he was healthy and he wasn't hurt, dude.

9:16James Harrison:over that two-year span bro it wasn't a quarterback that passed for uh more yards than him other than it was Dak and Goff he had 8 ,044 and the highest one was 8 ,100 over those over that two-year span bro on top of that that same two-year span nobody had more passing touchdowns than him like he has 60 69 and the next person was one below him it was 68 josh allen completion 66.8 again the highest was 68 again dac golf and i think it was a burl now you know you go from and you look at these guys and you talking about top at 63 million to the bottom person is 52 and y 'all as he said y 'all can't even come close to the 50 number and again they're probably thinking oh we did a three-year 100 million 33 we gonna run it back No, you ain't going to run it back.

10:32James Harrison:The price done went up, man. It ain't got nothing to do with nothing else. And yes, he will leave there and go somewhere else and easily get close to 50 based on the guys that's making that money now and the numbers that they're putting up. As long as he said he does what he said he's going to do, going this year and ball out, he's going to get all that. They can try and tag him if they want to. He already told him like, yo, that's not happening, boss. You go tag me for no reason. he's done negotiating there's no more negotiating to be had so if that's the case you ain't go talking no negotiation then he's like that's it and I see at first I'm looking and I'm like yo he he might be asking a little much getting 50 but I'm looking now and I'm like and you can't as he said come close you can't get to 47 47 and the lowest guy on that list is 50, 51?

11:34James Harrison:Come on. And he done, he done outperformed and went healthy. That's, that's the part of me. So he got every right in the field that way. But that's why one down year and he was hurt. It wasn't like I just had a down year. I'm playing through injury. I'm playing through everything. Like, I want to see everybody get paid, no question. Like, but at the time I'm looking and I'm like, he's 50, come on now. So I'm like, yo, let me see. Hell, he doing better than every cat on there except for, you know, two cats. That's what, that's that market. I'm telling the quarter. Right, the price done went up, man.

12:11James Harrison:The price done went up. The market. Same thing. Still, the price done went up. The price done went up. That's making 31 with the new. And then Chris Olave. My man, Chris Olave, love him to death. Baller. My man does sign for$33 million a year at wide receiver. The price tag at the receiver has women up. George Pickens. Like, Dallas, you could have signed him a little earlier. Now you got it. You got to pay, pay. Chris Olave's a baller, but you can't tell me George Pickens is not better than Chris Olave at Miami. Like, so he's going to have to go get that. So it's like sometimes it's just when you're looking at players, they're going to – contracts are doing nothing but going up.

12:54James Harrison:the NFL, the salary. So looking at somebody's dollar amount that they're making and say, oh, it's hard to pick the market. How is the in-between of a dude making$0 to$65 million? That is a wave of money for quarterbacks. So if you're going to be the elite of elites, make it 65. And then when you got Daniel Jones making 44, and then you got like the Dax at 55 and Jalen Hurts at 51. So it's like, where is the media area? So do you sound as 47? But that's what I'm saying. You can't put him in a medium area when his numbers don't say you can put him in a medium area. No, that's what he's saying at 55.

13:32James Harrison:That's why when he says it, he doesn't sound ridiculous.

13:39James Harrison:I think they might regret that one, buddy. Man. Right. But they're going to get it. Oh, he's going to get it for sure. He's going to ball. This thing is, too, like he's having to still – they're going to get the best performance out of him, so it's either going to be they're paying him this year without the contract. If he doesn't ball out, you see why we didn't give you a deal. If he does ball out, then I understand. Can they – do you say that he wouldn't – he's not going to try to allow him to franchise tag him, but what can he do if they try to franchise tag him? Like sit out? No. He got to let him know.

14:15James Harrison:Like I'm not – like, dude, everybody knows you can franchise tag him if you want to. It's not going to happen. And can you tag him? Like, you ain't got to sign it. He might be free-free.

14:33So, yeah.

14:34James Harrison:I don't know, bro. But I know what. The Atlanta Falcons, your boy Kevin Stefanski over there, Tua, I guess he working through a little injury over there. He said, a tight back is keeping Tua sideline during the stretch of training camp from Prairie ESPN. That's what they said. He said he will be out there sooner rather than later, Stefanski said.

15:01Joe, what do you think happened?

15:03James Harrison:You know me. I got to get through it, Joe. Literally with this one, I have no idea. Hey, hey, hey, Joe. You want to hear mine? Please tell me. Okay. You know me. I'm always thinking, Joe. Okay. And when I go to thinking, Joe, I got to start looking. Like, what happened that made my man's back tighten? Like, you know, and that back tightening up, you know. That's a hard thing to explain, you know, hard thing to see. This is Chelsea Handler from Dear Chelsea. 17:50James Harrison:Turn around and place your hands behind your back. The cops came into my house and threw me in jail. 20:35James Harrison:everything could look perfectly fine but your back could be you know it's cruciating pain um so you know i'm just looking at what i saw transpire i seen some people get released around 28 29 something like that um one of them was a quarterback um and then on top of that you got uh, Penix, he's not cleared yet because his ACL to play. And when you start looking at it again, the only other quarterback you have at that time before the back got tight was, uh, a rookie quarterback. It was a rookie quarterback, uh, from Montana, something, or, or what is it? Minnesota. Minnesota State Moorhead. Jack Strand.

21:33Rookie. Now, that's all you got there at that time.

21:39James Harrison:My back might get tight too. You talking about you want me to come out here. I know Penix ain't ready. I already got 52, 53 coming from Miami. And you want me to come out here for 1.2 and be the starter and the only person you got back here is a rookie. I don't know. I think my back might have got tight too, baby. You know what I'm saying? I'm just saying. I'm just saying. That's all I'm saying. It might have been an opportunity, a positional thing that may have tightened his back up, but that's why they went and got your boy, what's his name, Rush. That Rush wouldn't make my back untightened up too much.

22:19James Harrison:I ain't gonna lie to you. Yes. If I'm Tua, I'm back still tight. No, no, D-Bone. I would be trying to, wouldn't you be thinking now that you can get the starting job and be able to go out there and go get a bag? As soon as Penance comes back and he's healthy, that starting job is gone. He got to get the bag while he got the bag opportunity, man. He got 52 coming from the other people. They're only getting him 1.2 right here, man. You want me to come out here and I know you're starting a starter that you want. You got a rookie that you ain't trusting. And you done signed Cooper Rush, who, what was he, in Baltimore.

22:50James Harrison:where that man had like four picks in his last two games, four picks and 200 yards or something. It was something crazy. He was playing for the other team. When he was playing against our team, he was playing for the other team. That's what I'm trying to tell you. So what I'm trying to tell you is. That's what you – my back will still be tight. That's what you went and got? I'm tight in my back and you telling me what he's saying. He will be out there sooner rather than later. Shit, no, he won't. Tua ass needs to get out there immediately. If I'm Tua, I'm trying to get my... Joe, I'm saying what I'm thinking.

23:31James Harrison:I'm not saying if it's me and you, yeah, I'm trying to go get that starting position. I'm starting to do that. I'm just saying, I told you, I think, I'm thinking, you know me. You said, why would I have to go? Because you need me right now. I'm going to have to get some, you got to put something extra on my books. You know what I'm saying? I'm just saying, Joe. Come on Yo, listen man How many more opportunities You think the man gonna get? Let me tell you this If you making the 53 From them This is what I'm saying, it doesn't matter where it's coming from If you can still have an opportunity to start For this professional football team If I can start for a professional football team right now That gotta be at least worth 20 No, no, no, no, listen You're, Debo, you was wrong because don't think about that.

24:21James Harrison:You got to show how much, how that you can still play. I got 52 coming. You want me to put my life for 1.2? No.

24:31James Harrison:How much longer, like you said, is he going to be able to play? So that 53 is coming regardless and that 1.4 is coming regardless. So if you have an opportunity to show that you can be a starting professional quarterback in the NFL, you need to go get it Because right now, listen, at 1.4. That 53 is from what you used to do. So, now, right now, you're making 1.4 for what you're doing today. So, show that you were. Who go give him some more? Who go give him some more, Joe? Not to go play well to go give him some more. You're the GM. Other than that, so you're saying, Debo, you're just saying, he need to not show face no more.

25:09James Harrison:I'm just saying, man, you done already put, you done already, you know, you done already pulled the pistol on somebody and got you some paper, man. Listen, right now, he done got an opportunity right now where everybody in there and everybody's dark, but he got on the night vision goggles. He see it. So, hey, why not go in there and tap on, hey. Listen, I don't want to lock, but my back tight. I think another 15 might loosen it up. This is what I'm trying to tell you. This is what I'm trying to tell you. If you're a baller, does he not feel like he should feel like he's already stole. You already, not stole, but you came to the league and you got that.

25:49James Harrison:Bro, you just signed a minimum deal. He ain't feeling like nothing. He feeling like nothing. But like you said, you're still making this year playing 50 million plus the one. So you're still making 51.4. I don't care who it comes from. But like when it's coming from the locker room from the Atlanta Falcons. So I'm just in there trying to hoop out, ball out, because I want to show that I can continue to get these, like you said, or else this is it. Joe, Joe, you are the corner that just came over. They just gave you one point for it. You got guaranteed money over here, but the corner that they got there is their franchise corner.

26:28James Harrison:And he's going to, when he come back, he's getting in that position. He's not cleared yet, but he will be cleared by the end of this, by sometime during this season. They're giving you vet minimum, and they're paying corners that start$20 million. You going in there and you playing that out until they go ahead and just get a job up back to him? I'm going out there and I'm going to ball out because it's going to show the other team that they let me go, then they're going to see my tape. You ain't going to get a full year of tape, though. Give me eight games. Look what he was doing out there. I'm going versus the ones, and I'm strapping.

27:13James Harrison:So that starter right there is the same starter that's playing versus you. I don't got to play against him two, three times a year. 16 games, you got eight real live game reps. I mean, 60 plays, 70 plays, not getting bombed up. Okay, but what about the whole season of trash before that and the half season before that? You as best as your last. No, man. Hey, man, listen. We talking about Deshaun Watson. You saying Deshaun Watson go out there, ball out. Then what they're going to have to do? Pay him again. I'm like, oh my God. I said that's what y 'all would do. You know, see, that's what I'm saying though.

27:48James Harrison:That's what y 'all would do. The mindset should be if you're like go out there and ball. If he go out there, Joe, listen. He ain't going to get the bag back. For me, personally, if Deshaun Watson was to go out there and ball, ball. First team, 5 ,000. 60 tug. I am not touching nothing close to what he got before. But that's just me because I already know you got a history. So you're saying two is history, but eight games will make up for that. No. I'm just saying. That's why I'm thinking, like I was thinking, like I said, you know. But, you know, that's just me. Like I said, I think outside the box.

28:28James Harrison:When they try and keep you in the box, you know. You told me you want him to stay out with the strained backs. Oh, y 'all need me now. Hey. That's T-Bo. I was trying to get – I'm like, dang, you don't want the man here like he got the job. You're like, nope. Starting quarterback is getting paid more than that. Hey, you need me now. I got a confusion. You gave me – hey, you brought me in here because you thought I had the potential. Now you need me? Show me. My back top. Show me a spiral. Tell me a spiral. I'm just saying, Joe. I'm just saying. And the boy Miles Garrett over here in L.A., he said he won't push Aaron Donald's difficult comeback decision with the Rams.

29:11James Harrison:He said, if he's here, I'm going to be excited to be his teammate, his partner in crime. I think we're going to do great things. But it's a difficult thing coming back, Joe. I know it's a difficult thing coming back, Joe. I came back once and that was only a few months, you know, and that time off was, it was hard getting back into it, man. The body hurts. It goes through some changes when you soften it up. You don't continue to give it that, you know, that same impact and forces. And you don't train as if you're ready to go, you know, get ready for a season. So, but with that being said, you think Aaron will come back?

30:10James Harrison:You think Aaron Donald will come back? I don't. I don't. Why is that, Joseph? The thing you said, I think Aaron Donald, like you said, he doesn't have anything to prove, you know, and then him stepping away from the game and being out for two years, it is a lot on your body. I think if there was somebody that'd be ready to come back and be able to do it, I don't know what his off-sense and training looks like since he's retired, but I think he might be able to be one of the people. But when he retired, it just seems like knowing what he put into the game, knowing that he was just so many first-team all pros, knowing that if you were to just come back, how good he was, I know the great thing, like, I don't want to come back and be like a, not a shell of myself, but just not Aaron Donald.

30:53James Harrison:You know what I'm saying? So he'll still be a really good player, but it's not he knows what Aaron Donald could do he knows how he feels when he's able to just throw people up out of there so I think being able to be off the field for two years mentally physically having to get back into that into that grind because I was kind of numb when I was in the league like we know when you when you're doing it for so long back to back you don't realize how much you're actually working out how much consistency you have every morning you're waking up you're doing stuff thinking about football everything your schedule your family schedule it's rotating around you have a schedule that you do every year like the off season is the same off season the same time we report back the same stuff as this then the games then mondays on mondays tuesdays or tuesdays wednesdays or wednesdays you have that level of consistency that you do it for so long you did it for 12 years and then when you get out of it it's like dang and then you don't take care of your body you don't really realize like i was putting my whole my life my family's life, everything around, making sure I was the best that I could be.

31:55James Harrison:And then when you take that off and just really just sit and then trying to get back into that rotation, it could be something that I didn't realize how much work we were really putting in. Yeah, I'm not concerned about him coming back. Man said he accomplished everything he needed to. If he came back, that wouldn't be true, would it, Joe? That wouldn't be true if he came back. He didn't accomplish everything he wanted to. that meant he left something unfinished, but he said he accomplished everything he wanted to. Hey, listen, I got to talk to the ego. I got to talk to the ego. You be saying that.

32:28James Harrison:You funny. I got to talk to the ego. Leave me alone, Joe. Leave me alone, Joe. I ain't done. You don't call him a lie. Hey, listen, I ain't calling him a lie. I just got to talk to his ego. Now, hold on. Now, if you come back and you don't win that championship, you telling me the accomplishment that you came back for was to play one more year and not win the championship? that you accomplished everything before that, but now you come back. That means you didn't accomplish everything, but your goal was to come back and play one more year and not win it. I'm just saying. Joe? I hear you. D-Bow.

33:02James Harrison:Hey, D. Hey, listen. I got to talk to his ego, man. I got to. I got to. Listen. I got to. That's the only way it's going to work. That's good, man. Hey, don't come back and not win it now. ain't gonna be good look they gonna have a chance though Debo everybody got a chance it's 32 teams everybody got a chance Joe and the Browns got a chance it's 31 teams Joe everybody got a chance it's 32 teams but 31 got a chance Joe you know you know what I mean like I don't know why you keep trying to put the Browns in there when I'm talking to somebody else they actually got a legitimate chance you see what I'm saying it's like crazy You all Browns.

33:48James Harrison:You all Browns. But when it comes time for you to put your foot down, oh, it ain't. It's brawn over everybody. It's brawn over everything. That's what I can't. Wow. I started being a fan when I was 16 years old. When I was 16, maybe 15 years old. Probably 15 years old. No, younger than that. I was 12 years old. I was 12. What am I talking about? Brown was 16 at Montreux. I was 12 years old. So, I didn't get drafted until I was 21 years old. That's nine more years of Brown being my favorite player. Where did Brown? Okay. So, you was just a Brown fan. You didn't care nothing about the city. Even though the city that drafted you, you said you love, you dedicate, you go out there, you live, you die for all this other stuff.

34:44James Harrison:Like, love this, love that. Cleveland home, the land. Yes. But the Brown like, oh, no. Hell with y 'all. I hope you don't lose. My man, Brown. I hope Brown beat y 'all. From a high school kid has been called the chosen one. And I watched him with my own eyes, Debo. Do it. Stay out the way. Not get in trouble. Be a professional and be dunking on everyone. 37:30James Harrison:Turn around and place your hands behind your back. The cops gave it to my house and threw me in jail. And to Cindy's surprise, her fiance, Kenny, was charged with abusing one of her children. I never once doubted Kenny, and I always doubted the accusation. 40:15James Harrison:Do you remember those first years where he was just literally taking off from the free throw line? The athleticism? Then he goes to the Heat, wins his ships? Okay? Comes back to the land, ship again. Goes to L.A., ship again. Then I play. He didn't go there with no... Debo, I play in the league. You forgot the way it was over there. I play in the league. Debo, I play in the league for 12 years. I go back home. I retire. I'm chilling here. We're talking to my man. And LeBron is still out there balling and dunking on people. I was, what are we talking about here? We're talking about the land. We're talking about who you actually have.

40:55James Harrison:You know what I'm saying? You say it's your city, but it ain't your city. That's what I'm about, because look, the city, look, LeBron, LeBron reps the land too. And he could go play. He played in Miami. He played in LA. He just went and played in Philly. could have came back to the crib. Nobody disrespecting Bron. He already came. That man went to Philly, bro. And he is going to fly every day to practice, bro. Listen, Kobe. Why? From New York City. Who else? It was a lot of players that did it, too. What? You think that Philly fans ain't going to feel some type of way about him not staying in the city of brotherly love?

41:34James Harrison:Man, a couple players did that. Who? Name it. Give me another one. I think it was Will, was it Will? Hold on, now, now, now, Will. Hold on, I'm going to find it, I'm going to find it. Come on, I'm waiting, Joseph.

41:54James Harrison:You can't even find it. No, no, no. Hold on. You know how much they say that going to cost, they say that going to be like$800 ,000. $800 ,000, they say it's$12 ,000 round trip, Joe. Every day, the 60, 60, 67, 68, something like that, whatever, whatever it was, trips, or whatever it may be. however it is dude I don't know this crazy thing Joe Wilt Chamberlain and JJ Reddick Wilt Chamberlain a helicopter did they even have helicopters back then no I think what are you talking about Joe well he did he did it on the train he took the train train he took the train and JJ Reddick I think JJ Reddick had a I think JJ Reddick took a I think he drove but they lived in New York they still made it it's a 35 to 50 minute flight 35 minutes helicopter he's going to have a different helicopter than the seaplane he's going to have a big old helicopter yeah he's going to have a big old helicopter but I'm saying like Joe I'm not I'm not flying.

43:10James Harrison:Why didn't you just come back to the land, Joe? You want to fly? You could have... What? You could have came back to the land, Joe. Back to the land and we would have been on the floor, Debo. We would have... Joe, you will never get floor seats in Cleveland again. I'm telling you that right now. Brother, what are you talking about? Dan Gilbert is not giving you floor seats again after this. You're just going to tell me. You're crazy. You trying to put... You just said Bron over everybody. I do say that. That is true. That is true. Bron, Bron, Bron. That's my good man. But after that, who do you have?

43:53James Harrison:See, do you have a favorite player that you're passionate about like this? No. Over who? Over who's your favorite player of all time? I ain't gonna lie I never really had a favorite player that's what I'm saying it's all good though it's all good though but it's all good but here it goes if as you as you know I'm Jordan I think Jordan is the best ever to do it okay if it was Jordan playing against

44:31James Harrison:say Pittsburgh had a basketball team okay it's Pittsburgh

44:39James Harrison:because I'm real home team you fronting false flagging there's only been one player that made me well actually when it was Jordan I'm a player kind of guy maybe when I was a kid maybe that's why that's what it is Michael Bigg individual I just like the individual when I would follow my favorite guys wherever they go. I like you. I like what I would. Boom, I'm going to follow you wherever you go. That's kind of how I was. So that's janky. I mean, I like the player. You know what I'm saying? Good. Boom. That's janky. That's super janky. That's the jankiest thing I done never heard of, Joe. That's jankier than your hip.

45:27James Harrison:That's jankier. I'm just joking. But, man, let's stay with these super chats, man. Look at this. What is that? CT saying, I don't even know what that is. He got$2. He said, Joe is brown over the land. You right. Everybody know. Hold up. That's Dan Gilbert. Hold on. He just texted me. Hold on. He's not. See, my good man, CT. Tell Joe he needs to call me if he thinks he go ever get floor seats again. There's nobody else that I can even think about rooting for over the land than LeBron James. LeBron James started out at the land. So he just made it. It was all together. Everything rolled in once.

46:12James Harrison:Listen. And I got drafted there to the land. And if you left, we both. To the land. You got drafted there to the land, but you going to go against. When I landed in the land. For a man. You going to go against the land for a man. He was flying past me. Not with the land. He was flying past me in the air to Miami. So I didn't even get to see him my first years there. It was me. You got a TV, don't you? Yeah, that's when I was rocking with the Heat. I was a Heat bronze. I was a bronze fan because he's playing for the Heat. But I was Cavs. Anderson Bergeau. Baron Davis. Rocking the Baron Davis beard to the games.

46:51James Harrison:What beard you got? You ain't never had a beard. Oh, you mean a fake beard. Okay, I'm true. Okay. I'm about to say, Joe, you ain't never had no beer. What you talking about? You out here, you out here, you on them drugs. No, man. Real good. Covenant Life, she back,$10. She said, welcome back, D-Boy and Joe. We missed y 'all so much. I almost had to start listening to Brown's podcast. Ah, yep. Then I remembered, I have standards, Joe. She has standards. Glad the show is back. For sure, Covenant Life again. she said Tua went to Magic City that's why listen that's why his back is tight and or they know the first game is the Steelers and that defense is about to put the one hitter quitter on his one hit away from that blue tent yeah yeah listen that ain't right But the game is rough.

47:55James Harrison:It's a tough game. He know it. Like, yo, if my back get tight now, I could possibly not have to play against them Pittsburgh Steelers. And they're about to be real. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Cover the line. She back again. Cover the line. She said the Browns have the first chance of picking their place at the beach in Cancun. Love you, Joe. Dang. Covenant? That's it. That's in real life. Oh, that's in real life. No, she... What you're not realizing is... Hey, Covenant, did Joe send you your jersey yet? Covenant got two Steelers jerseys from me. I got to still send her the Browns one. Is that the Joe jersey you got on right now?

48:46James Harrison:She don't want no Brown jersey. She want to burn it up on TV. Disrespectful, coveted life. Send her to Calcun before the season started. Y 'all know y 'all already had y 'all trucks shipped and ready to go before December. Man, listen. Shador was there doing rookie minicamp, okay? They're getting the play calls down. We're going to average at least 23 points a game this year. Okay? That's all I'm telling you. Well, she said no. She did not get her jersey yet.

49:24James Harrison:Anyway, that's a no. She keep on talking crazy about the Browns, though. God, why is it so reckless? Why do you care? You don't even care about the city of Cleveland like you say. Oh, I do. don't do that just because there's one there's a brawn that I'm rocking with hey listen Joe if it's just one it's okay right if it's just one it's okay right is that what you're saying if it's just one what if it's just one just one person that you know you're against everybody for you just for that one person it's okay even though you You claim to be the land. You claim to be the land. The city that drafted you.

50:14James Harrison:That took a chance on you. Nobody else, Joe. The land rocked with me because they know how I feel about them. Everybody be always trying to talk about the land. But they don't know how you feel about them right now. They thought you felt the way they felt about you, but they're seeing that's not true. To know the land is feeling how much love I have for them right now. To know that. Where the love at? You said it ran over everything. Is Braun in the land? Oh, like to know that we're. Come on. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe. You know what I mean? Hey, Joe. Huh? If something was to happen, Joe, and we were to get into an altercation.

50:56James Harrison:Yes. And I'm like, Joe, you my brother. I got your back no matter what.

51:06James Harrison:But it ended up being Bron. And I

51:16James Harrison:ain't there for you because I'm like, you know what, man? I can't do nothing for you, man. You shouldn't have did whatever you did. You solo by yourself, man. Him and his team, they go just stomp lights out to you. I'm going to go on here and watch it. You ain't really my brother like that then, is you? How many times you done sat down and ate with Brown? How many times you done sat down and talked about the word? How many times you done sat down and had conversations with him about his cheering? Let me tell you something. I had a couple of times, but this is what I'm going to tell you. I would never let nobody put their hands on you.

51:54I don't care who it is. Okay?

52:01James Harrison:That's how the land feel about you. I'd be like this. If he was ready to jump on you, I'd be like, bro, bro, that's Debo. You better not jump on him. Well, he'd jump on us. That's what I'd tell him.

52:17James Harrison:See, Debo, don't do that. See, there you go. You want to put them out there with each other. You ready to go and get somebody. I've got to find something. I've got to find something, Joe. How can I make Joe want to fight? I got to find some. Depot, bro. I got to watch you. I'm telling you. Oh, my goodness, brother. Listen here, baby. We got some good stuff coming up here next week. I think we got Hottie and Oak next week. I think that may be Tuesday. Hopefully, we'll be at Steelers training camp for a couple days the week after that. But, yeah, we got some stuff going on for you. Hold up. Covenant Life, she back again.

53:05James Harrison:What up, Covenant? $10, she said. Shadur purchased the Browns Christmas cards already. Christmas gifts. She's trying to play. Pursued the Browns Christmas gifts already. Hold on. Yeah. Beast chairs and umbrellas. I want the Browns jersey because I know you're going to the Hall of Fame as a Brown. That's the only reason she wants the jersey. She can't just be nice. She said she wants the jersey because she knows that's nice. Saying you're going to go in the Hall of Fame as a Brown. That's why she wants the jersey, Joe. I'm going to make sure that she has to start it off with the beach chairs and the gifts to make sure that she's going to be like, everything's not going to be nice.

53:49James Harrison:Beach chairs and gifts, push your door because we're going to Cancun. Why is that something crazy that's nice to do, to purchase for the Browns? Shador, if I send you a beach chair as an umbrella, you go take it because you like to go to the beach, right? Yeah, but it's the purpose. You used to go into the beach in January. You sent it to me saying, oh, you're not going to be in the playoffs. You're going to be in Cancun. that's what makes it you know you look oh my bad i'm sorry i didn't i didn't interpret it oh you're not going to be in the playoffs early trip to no i did i didn't interpret it i didn't i'm sorry you're mathematically eliminated here goes a lawn chair i mean y 'all usually are by december so i mean it's not really a lie i'm just saying yo look here man ladies and gentlemen we want to Thank you for joining us on this episode of D.
