In short

This episode is a sports-and-NFL talk show segment focused on the Cleveland Browns and broader league storylines, plus some general sports chatter and listener Q&A.

Guests

No named guests appear; the hosts are “Debo” and “Joe” (with frequent references to “Brandon Aiyuk” and “Denzel Ward” as subjects, not guests).

Topic 1 (Browns)

Denzel Ward says he wants to stay in Cleveland after a trade, emphasizing he’s still under contract and that the Browns value him. Key claim: Ward is a high-level, low-drama player making about $20M/year for the next two years, so he’ll keep balling and avoid media distractions.

Topic 2 (Browns defense)

The hosts celebrate the “historic pairing” of Jared Verse and Carson Swingsinger as back-to-back Defensive Rookie of the Year winners, arguing it helps the Browns rebuild after losing Myles Garrett and aims to fix turnovers/interceptions and run defense.

Topic 3 (49ers/Brandon Aiyuk)

They discuss Aiyuk’s strained situation with the 49ers, contract leverage, fines for not following rehab/check-in expectations, and his public posts/behavior affecting trade chances.

Notable examples

“tush push” debate (Dolphins coach Jeff Hafley wants both sides to learn/stop it); references to Jalen Hurts and Green Bay/Eagles; Steelers defense advice centered on communication.

Look here, man. Going over here to the Browns, because y 'all did this, but it was the right thing to do because you should have did it, but you shouldn't have did it because you're the Browns, and y 'all don't do things right, but you did something right for once. Denzel Ward definitely wants to stay with the Browns after the game trade. He said, I definitely want to be here. Miles is a good friend of mine, a good teammate, but things aren't lost, Joe.

3:06Uh-huh. Yeah. It's Ohio against the world. Come on, Denzel. People could doubt us. You're getting a little excited about that. See what I'm saying? My bad. My bad.

3:14James Harrison:Keep it real. Keep it real. My bad. So people could doubt us, but we're going out there trying to play our best ball and bring wins to the city. I believe that either you're with us or against us. And as you see, he's not with us. Ooh, crazy trade. But hey, that's the nature of the game, he said. Joe. Yeah. Why you guys say he definitely want to be there. I mean, he only got a couple years left or something. How old is your guy, though? Denzel, Denzel still young? He's still young? Yeah, not young, but he's under 30. He's like 29, 28, 28. I'm thinking like 29, Joe. I think he only got – see, listen here, Joe.

4:05Listen, you want me to tell you what really happened here, Joe? Go ahead. You tell me what you think first, and I'm going to let you know what's going on in Brown's town. That man only got two years left on that$100 million deal, okay, with no guaranteed money left, okay? Now, he listening to Barry when Barry said, Ward is a big part of the team, and we like him a lot. He didn't say love him, Joe. He said like him a lot, Joe. He said he's playing at a really high level. Because he is. Okay. that doesn't change with this transaction, Joe. Joe, what does the top corner make in the league nowadays, Joe?

4:5130. 30. He at what? He at 20. With no guarantee? Yep. How old is he, Joe? 29? 29. Hey, 29. What did they do to you at 29, Joe?

5:03James Harrison:They got me about it a little earlier. 26, 27, 28, 28.

5:10he about to be 30 i think this year

5:16i don't know maybe maybe it's next april i don't know either way it go these two years he go be 31 at the end of it um i mean i would give the same type of lip service but yes if if if what your So, man, Barry said it's truly what he means. Why wouldn't he go ahead and read that man up, you know, give him some money, make him feel good about putting his body on the line?

5:42James Harrison:Because right now, you know, because he don't have to. Like you said, he's under contract for the next two years. He's a little getting to the older age in corner, and he just got to continue to perform at a high level. He's still getting$20 million per year for the next two years. So it's still probably around two for 40 somehow. So long as Denzel Ward keeps balling, and he's not a problem. Denzel is one of those dudes where he's just staying out the way, he's going to do his job, and he's not going to make a problem. If the Browns are wanting to feel like, man, okay, he's getting a little bit older, let's see what we can try to go get for him, to each his own.

6:19James Harrison:Denzel's not going to be out here just trying to make up, stir up any noise in the media. That's not the kind of guy he is. All he's going to do is go out there and ball. So with me, I'm rocking with Denzel. He's giving the same, just staying out the way. When you got a good player that's knowing where he's at in this contract, where he's at in the league, he knows that there's no point. If the Browns are going to do business, they're going to go do business, no matter what. If he says he wants to stay, if he would go out there and be trying to red flags. Keeping all the red flags out of there.

6:50James Harrison:You're going to say what you wanted to say. Be there with the Browns. You're going to continue the ball out. Because once you get to this level, once you get to your ninth year in the league at corner, all you can do is ball. You don't want to be a distraction. You don't want to be, they're finding reasons not to pay you. And once you get that contract, like you said, they were making$20 million a year. The youngest new dudes that are coming in making 30, stay, keep balling out to let them know if you do want to go, if the Browns don't want to pay you after these two years that you're making 20, you could still be able to ball out for another team where you can leave and start doing the Reva stuff to where I'm just going to go, I'm strapping corner and I'm going to get my services of what the highest paid corner gets paid around the league.

7:32James Harrison:So I'm with Denzel just trying to stay cool, stay culture, keeping it all smooth. If they want to think that they can move and go somewhere else, you're going to go bald regardless. It's not your fault. The same way it was a miles fault that the Browns aren't winning games. So you just continue to be your part. You be Denzel Ward and travel around and be a good person, be a good player. Don't make no distractions and go and ball. So I think he's doing it the perfect right way, just trying to be a team player, knowing what it is with his deal, knowing where he's at in his league and his contract and like how old he is.

8:04So Denzel, kudos to you.

8:07James Harrison:You're going to ball out for the Browns. And if they do decide to move on from you, like they moved on from me, thinking like, oh, no, he's a little bit older. Maybe I can go get younger or something like that. If you go fall on another good team, you're not the reason why they weren't losing. and you're going to be an asset to any squad that he goes to. So I think just continue the ball, staying healthy for Nizale Ward is the best thing that he could do. Okay. Okay, Joe. Mm-hmm. You know that. Yeah, it is. It is. It is. But, you know, we know how y 'all move over there. And, you know, you can't, like you said, you can't trust nothing that, you know.

8:41Yeah.

8:42James Harrison:So, look, because stuff could be happening on the sidelines, they could be trying to deal with Nizale. Hey, I didn't say it, Joe. He ain't got no – but look, I did. I know. I know you can't be giving out that information, man. I know you got to – you know what I'm saying. I think it hurt you a little bit that, you know, the information didn't get out there that you knew that it was going to happen. And when I told you, Joe, it was going to happen, I told you you didn't want to listen to me. Nobody want to listen to me. Nobody. Nobody want to listen to me, Joe. But y 'all are making history. So the historic pairing of Jared Verse and your boy Carson Swellinger to lead the Browns defense in the post-Miles Garrett era.

9:20So they got a 2024 Defense Player of the Year reversed to 2025 with your current linebacker. That makes the Browns the first team to ever have both back-to-back rookie years of the year and on the same team since they created the award in 67. I guess the closest scenario came in 1980 when Atlanta Falcons celebrated linebackers Al Richardson and Buddy Curry. They shared the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year Award. Joe. Yep. You guys are making history, Joe. What do you think of this, Joe? Do you like this? Do you love this? I know you love it.

9:59James Harrison:I like it. Because obviously it's going to be, it's going to help our defense out in the longer run. Because right now when you lose Miles, you just didn't instantly get better. We got, we're building because we are going younger. We need it to be playing for the longer term. So having two back-to-back rookie of the years is more in the Browns' plan than having Miles right now just continuing to be on this – towards the latter end, but just 23 sacks being defensive player of the year and we're not really still – that doesn't accumulate to wins. So I think being able to get a draft pick for him, being able to get Jared versus young star that's starting to ball out, defensive player of the year, and then rookie of the year with Carson Swessinger, that linebacker core is building.

10:42James Harrison:You know what I'm saying? So you can't – you're not going to get instantly better with Myles, but at the same time when you're building two defensive player – two defensive rookies of the year and you're getting draft picks with it to add to your team and these younger players are also getting better with Swessinger, with Jarrett Verse, I think you're seeing it grow. So you're – it's not – you're subtracting to add eventually, but that's what the Browns are at right now. You mine as well. So we're trying to see what's going on there. And still, at the same time, we're not – the defense was ranked one in 2024, and we went to 19 last season with Miles.

11:17James Harrison:So let's just make sure everybody has to go out there and tighten up. We got to start creating more turnovers. We weren't getting any interceptions. You know what I'm saying? So I think that with people running around our run defense, we was getting torched on the run. So also everybody else just swelling up sometimes. So I think just everything with that being said, And then with Jerry Burst and Carlson Swessinger being young, I think that's more in the Browns' plan. So I can see how it's working for our good. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, that's something that, you know, is definitely a good thing for the Browns to have, making history the right way.

11:55But I was kind of reading through the doc a little bit, and you know me. Yeah, I listen to words. I listen to words. and what what what verse did say this joe what'd he say he said i can play freely because i don't have to worry if something gets behind me he's talking about linebacker schwasinger he said he's going to be able to handle that he's going to be able to clean up everything so no that's the exciting factor there. Joe. Joe. Yes. What does this sound like to you, Joe? This sound like to me, Joe. This sound like a recipe for disaster. This sound like he is going there.

12:43James Harrison:That jumping gaps don't sound to me. It ain't. That jumping gaps. It sound like your boy about to be out there jumping gaps, getting out the way. And you know what? He going to be making his play or trying to make plays that ain't here to be A, leaving his linebacker hanging open because he's the rookie of the year this year. he should be able to pick up where I might not post that. Ben, if I ain't able to make the play I should have made or couldn't have made because of what I did, Joe. This sounds like they might be browning, some browning. It might be some browning coming on over here in the season.

13:17James Harrison:No, no, no, no. I think he was just trying to say that he's able to make plays that he's not used to people making. I would definitely not. I know what you're saying, Debo. I want him to be able to. I hope we need to be gap, scheme. We need to be on assignment, alignment. I don't have to worry if something gets behind me. I heard what you said. I heard what he said. Okay. That's not, that's, yeah. He's going to be able to handle it.

13:48He's going to be able to clean up everything that I decide I want to make a play on that I don't end up making a play on, maybe.

14:00sound like they may be having discussions already. Hey, play. Do you, we gave you eight. You came in here. Eight is yours. You do what you want to do. You make that play. No, I backer. If he cleaned it up, don't worry about that. He, he, he further back than you. He can adjust. We just need, I, I, I, I, I,

14:24James Harrison:I think, you know, Joe, you know what words are. They mean things. Leader by example versus a great leader. He's going to be gap scheme appropriate. Gap scheme appropriate. Don't sound like it. That sound like gap scheme? It didn't sound like it. I'm going to be doing my job. And if it don't come to me while I'm doing my job and it goes to him, he's going to make the play. He didn't say that. You just be trying to break down in your way how you want to put it. And I know what he meant. I know what he meant. Joe, I know what he meant. You know what he... Joe, you's a... Oh, man. That's how you know when the Browns fan and you come out, Joe.

15:09Your boy, Brandon Ayuk. Brandon Ayuk. Ayuk. He delivered a message in a video post called the 49ers. Little ass boys telling them to stop running. It ain't the bill. It's not the bill. So whoever did this, they obviously don't have a good understanding of black dialect. Like, this dude has got to be white. He can't be black because he said belt. Not bill. From the belt. Play it. Play the sound.

15:43James Harrison:He did say that. We dealing with, you know, like them kids and they don't get picked for the basketball game at the court. But they the ones that brought the ball. So they like, all right, you don't want to pick me. I'm taking my ball. I'm going home. Ass boys, little ass boys. Or like when your kid, he got this one toy, but he don't really know how to use it correctly. So somebody else about to pick it up and play with it. And they like, oh, yeah, this shit. And they're like, wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on. That's my toy. Ass boy. Little ass boy. Man, stop running from the belt. The belt coming.

16:31James Harrison:You scared. They scared. The truth is they scared. They know how I get. They're going to say, oh, yeah, B.A. B.A. B.A. did this. B.A. did that. B.A. did. You know that shit. Allegedly. Allegedly. But what they're not going to say is, B.A. suck at football because they know how I get. And they're running from that belt that's on the way. It's inevitable. It's coming. Stop running. Stop being a female dog. Stop being a female dog. Stop being a little cat. Stop being a little cat. Stop running from the belt. 21:29James Harrison:Debo, what's happening here, Debo? You go first, please. You go first. I do not know what in the fiddle faddle am I not talking about, bro. Here's the problem, bro. Like, we have no real information on what happened with him and the 49ers that led them to the position that they're in right now where the GM won't release him. is it guaranteed money on the line or something like i don't i don't i don't know what's going on and then like he's talking about um like fake or whatever what like dude you got cost you you got yourself caught speaking bro you put that on camera that ain't no that ain't fake you did that like i hope he ain't talking about that what's going on debo this is what i'm trying to say So in the NFL, so right now he's trying to get, he wanted to get traded, right?

22:27James Harrison:He wanted to get traded. He tore his ACL. And from that point, I don't know where the relationship started getting shaky, but I'm looking at it. Right now, basically, he's saying he don't want to be there, right? He don't want to be there. They're not trying to release him. But do you think this is the appropriate way to do it? Like, right now, I'm looking at him like, I think they said the Commanders is the team that he's looking to go to because I think the general manager, whoever drafted him, is over there with the Commanders. I'm just looking at my man like, you signed a contract, four years,$120 million, and I'm thinking that with— He got 120 wins, yo!

23:04James Harrison:Four years—he signed a contract with the 49ers. He signed a four-year extension when he asked to get traded the offseason before. Didn't get traded during that offseason. He signed a four-year, 120 mil. That's why they ain't letting him go. What'd you say? That's why they ain't letting him go. How much guarantee money they got on him? I don't know. But then it started being crazy because he was, like, it says, like, he just stopped communicating with the team. Do you know how when you have to go and do your treatments and do your rehabs and come to just to schedule appointments, like, if you're not, if your stuff is hurt, you got to, like, rehab, check in, be on point.

23:36James Harrison:It kind of went astray where he kind of was not talking to them no more, and that's when the 49ers said he won't be playing for us. But at the same time, we have him under contract. We're not just going to release him because he's saying that he's an asset and they know that. If they let him go or get rid of him and they're keeping some money away because there's a way that you got to go about it. You got to still pull up to the building. You got to still show up to your rehabs and check in. They got the doctors and all of that stuff. So he's been getting fined and all of this, but he don't want to play for them.

24:09James Harrison:But for me, it's like you got to do it in a more definite professional way. And then posting on the gram what you speeding and getting those allegations. And then the way that you talk about the team. I mean, not allegations. It happened on that. That was footage. With this, it just is starting to look like, Debo, you know, it's not for long. The league. I think him being able to look back at the way that he's going about the stuff, wanting to get released. I don't know the ins and outs of the way you're getting traded. But the way that the business of the NFL works is all I know is you signed a$120 million contract.

24:45James Harrison:And for me, looking at it now, I would just want you to not miss out on this blessing. Because then, you know, if you were to get cut, released, go sign to another team, the commanders, like, we don't know what's going on. And now with the other teams looking at you talking like this. Oh, yeah. Other teams are looking at it like you talking crazy. He's like, now, do you think the NFL don't need you, Brandi Ayuk? And I'm not trying to be in any way disrespectful because that$120 million that you signed for, that could be gone. And then the league's going to move on. If they don't sign you, like, it'll just be a sad story.

25:20James Harrison:But you living your life, that would be real life money that is kind of, right now, he's like, man, belt the ass. Like, you know, like talking all that. Like, man, no, they scared of what's going to happen to him. like just trying to understand you working with a business that don't need you to NFL you are hitting this lottery every year so I'm just trying to figure out ways that you don't mess up your bag that you're around for 100 years it's gonna be around for 100 more after you done uh it's going to continue and they don't need and the more that you ball the longer lease that you have but then it's like if you're doing that with this team and they gave you the back other teams are just kind of like is he worth the headache or can I just try to go get me a little draft somebody in the first, second round and just hit that's coming in now hungry, ready, you know what I'm saying?

26:05James Harrison:In meetings, not doing wild things, you know what I'm saying? So it's just a sad thing to see when I look at it like that. Yeah, yeah, I don't I'm going to go with your explanation because I can't understand it no other way. And that's just you know, you could 120, listen, bro, I'm coming in there You in it, bro, I mean, like Like when you just got to put yourself. No, I'm not trying to get fined, Joe. We work for these, the teams. And it's always a way that. Dude, that's the problem. Everybody thinks like, oh, I work for the team. Right now we are employees. I'm making this money and I should be able to do what I want to do.

26:44Hell no, you can't. No, you can't. You're an employee. Just because you're in a position where you get a higher profile, people listen to you and all that other stuff. It don't mean a damn thing, dude. You still work for this company. You got to do what the hell they say. how the hell they said, and if you don't like it, they're going to release your ass, let you go, or whatever that may be, fine you. And you're going to be sitting there looking on the outside, looking in, talking about, damn, later on down the line, you know what, man, maybe I could have done something a little different right there, but you're so into your own ego, you're letting your own ego destroy you.

27:17Like, your opportunity to continue to play in the league, like, don't do it, bro.

27:21James Harrison:Don't do it. You got to keep the main thing the main thing, and it's to be able to be in the NFL, playing and trying to stay, like, trying to stay out the way. I understand now when things start to happen and there's ways that they can really just, you, the man, the goal. Conduct detrimental is something serious. That fine is no limit. You know, they do whatever. Yeah, they don't understand that. Like, yo, conduct, I hear too much about conduct detrimental. It ain't, they don't have a minimum or a max on that. After a certain point, I take everything from me. Take the whole year, half the year.

28:00Like, nah, I don't want none of that. I don't want none of that, man. The Dolphins' new head coach, Jeff Hathley, wants his team to be good at the tush push on both sides of the ball. Ask about the tush push at OTAs. Hathley said he wants his defense to figure out how to stop it. And he wants quarterback Malik Williams and the Dolphins offensive line to figure out how to run it effectively. He said it's hard to stop. So get good at it and do it. I mean, it's really hard to stop. So as long as it's a legal play, we need to figure out on defense a way to stop it. and with a quarterback like Malik and some big guys up front, maybe we can get good at it.

28:53Joe, this shit ain't rocket science, bro. What is he talking about, bro? We got to figure out how to stop it. You know how you stop it? You stop it with guys that are big and powerful and can push and not get pushed off the ball and can push the other guys off the ball. This shit ain't rocket. You need to figure it out. if this is what you're worrying about, dude, like trying to figure out a scheme or come up with a miracle or like you're going to come up with a new way to defeat the tush push or make it better and then on defense how to stop it with this great scheme. No. It's called put your hand into the ground, get lower than them, and then have more power as you push into them.

29:34That's it. Yeah. You're spending all this time on this. This is your first year of the head coach, and this is what you're talking about? Hell no. You want your team to figure out how? Figure out how to stop it. What? You know how to stop it.

29:50James Harrison:Got to get low. Got to get low. I think as long as the referees don't let them get off the ball faster than you, as long as it's not offsides first, it's foot. Get off the ball. You got to get lower, and you don't push back. I think when we see the tush push, as long as they don't get off the ball on time, I mean, as long as they don't jump off sides, then it's more of an even battle. When they get off the ball, the line's moving before the ball is snapped, and then they snap the ball, you have no chance. If you all get an even playing field, as soon as the ball moves, everybody's heads behind the ball, and now we move when the ball moves, it's more of a battle.

30:26James Harrison:Who's getting lower? Who's pushing the other people back? If they're taking off before we get the chance to take off and the flag isn't being thrown, that's a cheap play. If they're doing it all at the same time, all be fair, then it's more 50-50. It's more who's getting lower, who's pushing the other person back. So I think if they just start calling the play better with that, then it's just. This is what I think. It is what you think. It is. If you're getting lower and if my quarterback is strong and pushing his legs like Jalen Hurts, we're going to move forward. This is what I think. The tush push should be a reviewed play whenever it's done.

31:01You people, you NFL, y 'all want to go and review every time a guy gets hit by a defensive player. You want to slow it down 50 ,000 times and see the teeny top of his helmet hit this dude's chin. And now he gets flagged and fined 50 ,000. Take this tush push. But the reason y 'all don't want to do that is because it helps the offense advance the ball and get more points on the board. But take the tush push, and any time you tush push, it is reviewed in the box to see if anybody jumped early. If they do, it's flagged. And we don't got to wait for it. And we ain't got to wait for it. We don't got to wait.

31:37James Harrison:It's happening. While the play is going on, they already checking in slow-mo to see if people was going offside, so then we know if it was good or not. Because I feel you, D-Bo. If it's an even chance, I'm with it. But when we've been watching the tush push and the line is going before the book. They're offside already. He got the ball tucked up under him anyway. He's the only person that can be past the ball, but your lineman is past the ball too because they grab him more line. Like, come on, you already offside. I don't like the play. I'm not a fan, but I'm like, if you're going to run it, then give the defense a chance.

32:12James Harrison:Even the playing field. Every tush push is reviewed upstairs as soon as it's done. And it's told to the ref if it's good or not, offside or not, whatever it is, boom. Done. I'm with you a thousand percent because I'm not I'm not against the touch push. I'm just with if you're going to run the play, run it the right way. Don't have your people lined up off sides. Don't have the ball already tucked. Let's like what's what's going on. Like they literally everybody's all huddled over the ball and they're already moving. Yeah, I mean, I think he might be putting too much emphasis on this because he was in Green Bay.

32:49when they probably tush pushed his ass last year and lost him the game. Yeah, when you get tush pushed on it's going to make you feel some type of way, bro, you get tush pushed on. For sure. Eagles went on ahead, put that tush push on him. He's like, well, we got to figure that out. I can't. No, listen, stop. Don't worry about it, bro. Don't worry. It's simple. They stronger than y 'all. They getting lower than y 'all. That's it. Ain't nothing to figure out. They got muscles. They get in the weight room. Get in the weight room. Get your strength up.

33:21James Harrison:That's it. Get your Casey Hampton. Weight up. Get your Hampton on. Hampton wasn't getting tush pushed on. Listen, man, they weren't about trying to tush push. Hampton, stop playing, bro. That's what I'm saying. I wasn't even saying Hampton. I said Hampton was not getting, never getting tush pushed on. He wasn't even having that. That wasn't even part of the game, man. Jump into these super chats, man. What we got, coach? I guess we got a super chat. That was for Monday.

33:49Hexanti What the freak Hexanti Do you think There's a disconnect from Pittsburgh From Blitzburg area And today's linebackers

34:06What do you think Joe What do you think Mr.

34:09James Harrison:Blitzburg I don't I don't know about

34:16I think the game the linebackers don't play like they used to game change game don't change like

34:24it don't it don't really like you can hit now it's just that you gotta hit low and I call it dirty I just call it dirty you gotta hit so low to not take a chance of hitting somebody in their helmet

34:38James Harrison:I feel like D-Bow what you're saying is right When you hit up high, it's more of an imposing of your will. It's like, you know what I'm saying? Boom. That's just more than when you feel like you're going low. It's like, I'm victim weight. I got to go take your legs out because I can't go up high. Yes, yes, yes. That's what it is. Why are you going down on it? Like, yo, what? I got to hit him low because he's big. I got to make sure. That's like, you feel like I got to go low because you can't tackle. They're like, man, don't go up on that big boy. Don't go up on that big boy. You better go for his legs.

35:09James Harrison:like me going low on a receiver is is done no no for sure that makes you and here's the thing you feel when you go low on a receiver that's not looking at you it's legal it's yes yes but if you hit him high and knock him out that game it's illegal but if you hit him low and knock him out for the season it's legal it don't make sense it's for that it's just it's i want it was because you know listen i tell dude real fast man listen you got a shot blind shot on me and you don't you think you can you can shoot off and take that and you could actually go low no go high i'll pay your fine if you get me if you get me yeah if you still when i was going when i was getting fine bro i would tell cast up like yo bro i'm gonna tell you right now i'm gonna hit you low i'm gonna hit you low if i have a chance to hit you.

36:04I'm not getting fined, bro. Fitzgerald, he was like, bro, hit me high. I'll pay the fine. See? I said, you got it. I got it. You got action.

36:16James Harrison:I see you when you wake up. No question. Like, that's, yeah. It's just, they're trying to protect. You can't protect everything from everything. This is a game that has inherent dangers to it. And, you know, that's just part of it. Like, I can understand, you know, Yeah, just outright, like back in the G, you know, where you went and just clothesline, you know, across their neck like that. I was like, whoa, them boys are playing crazy back then. Mm-hmm. For sure. Man, Mike Mike, he back$100. I mean, Mike Mike 100. He got$5. He said, what up, Debo and Joe? 40:32Yeah. Bebo and Joe outside in the chaos of New York Knicks fans. I like that.

40:39James Harrison:Man. You scared, Joe? I ain't scared. I'm going to be out there doing it with the longest. Yes, they're going to think. But look, that's what I'm saying. everybody gonna think I'm just supporting everybody's team I'm just I love sports though but if we go out there I'm going to have to like rock with the Knicks so we can get love I'm all for we gonna come in there Hayden you gonna come in there with the Knicks stuff I'm coming in there with Knicks on I got to I ain't about to get you know what I'm saying and I'm not trying to be like oh I'm happy for y 'all for sure let's go y 'all we didn't win I'm here don't say we no we We, we, I'm talking about my calves.

41:19James Harrison:Don't say we. We? When I talking about we. You say we out there with them. Hey, we ain't winning. I'm happy for y 'all, huh? Who is we? See, no, I'm not going to say that out loud. I'm going to be like this, man. Good work, Knicks. Brunson. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Where's the Brunson statue? I ain't going to lie to you. If they sweep them, I ain't going to lie. I'm going to think a little different about the calves if they sweep these boys, bro. I ain't going to lie to you. See? See? It wasn't their fault. We had him up 22, and they came in. It's not off. It just. They had him up 14 at one point. They came back.

41:53Nick's not playing. They came back.

41:54James Harrison:Oh, my goodness. And that, Wimby came through with the layup. Do you think that was Wimby's fault when he passed it off his back? Hell yeah. Ah. Ah. I thought he was looking like, okay, Wimby. Bro, you got to come on, bro. You got to hold that? You got to hold that. Yeah, my man said he's, ah. You gots to be more careful. You gots to be. Eric Abel, 58,$5, said, Debo, who do you want to see as QB1 next year, WH or DA or 2027 draft quarterback? Who is WH and DA? Will Howard. Oh, Will Howard. Drew Aller. Drew Aller.

42:45Honestly We don't need to drop the quarterback We need to go get Joe Burrow

42:54James Harrison:If there's no Joe Burrow It's not It's not neither It's not Drew or DA If there's no Joe Burrow We're going to be the one in the championship We're not going to get the quarterback we want That's why we got to go get Joe And let him know Joe, we just won a championship. You want to come back and do this back-to-back with us and get you one. You see what I'm saying? Yeah. I got to watch more of the college football because the same way people thought last year's draft was supposed to be amazing for the quarterbacks and they didn't have too much of a good years and then Fendoza came out of nowhere, I just got to see what's going to happen during the season this year for it.

43:37James Harrison:to be like, is one of these quarterbacks going to be able to be a franchise? I'm going to go with Howard, though. For my opinion, if I'm going with what we got on our team right now, I'm trying out Howard.

43:52I don't know why we got to make a decision right now on 2027 anyway. I know. Neither one of them could do so. To be honest with you, hey, Eric, I'm going to tell you right now, we don't have a decision to make. We could say Will and he ends up being something that we thought he wasn't. And we could say, you know, Drew, and he ends up being something we thought he wasn't. So we don't even know what they can do in the NFL yet as a quarterback, starting quarterback in the league. So, yeah, I'm going to – yeah, check back later. Check back later.

44:22James Harrison:D-Bo got to see research. No question. You got to see some evidence. Hexante,$5 again. being a successor of the blicksburg era how do you see this age of linebackers still as linebackers who seem far from their predecessors this group has no identity

44:48we go figure it out we got a whole nother coaching staff um your coaches usually help bring in identity through the process of how they coach what they value so hopefully with the new coaching staff we know we have better coaches that is for sure um the values that uh you know they'll be able to instill into these players and and and um let them see you know what it is that they're about, it should definitely help give us a better identity or a identity. Like, we got to get back to just smashing people sometimes.

45:37James Harrison:Exactly. Downhill. And I think that's going to help us out too when our linemen keep them as fresh, clean as possible. So we're going to just be sideline to sideline, downhill. So identity is going to be happening when our defense doesn't have mistakes all over the place. When the D-line is holding their own, keeping the two, keeping the linebackers fresh. So, I mean, just depending on once the D-line and the linebackers, you'll see them working better once everybody's all in cahoots. When the DBs and the D-line linebackers are all flowing together, when people are not jumping out of their gaps, it's going to have Queen be fresher.

46:15James Harrison:He's going to be able to move and react a whole lot quicker. So, he's going to look like he's flying around because he's not guessing where he has to go.

46:24For sure, for sure, man. Is that Deity Truck? Deity Truck? Yeah. $50 said Deity Truck. Love the show. Let's bring awareness to Mental Health Awareness Month. In love and memory of Eric Brown II, age 20, Fayette, Georgia. June 4th, 2026. He took his own life. Sponsored by Deity Truck. save our youth be available to the youth as a follow-up here eric was my younger cousin and a fan of the show and to him you were and to him you all were larger than life figures i hope that you all understand that to some you are all superheroes keep doing what y 'all doing Hey, man, thank you. Appreciate you. Sorry for your loss, man.

47:21A thousand percent. It's mental awareness, man, huh? Uh-huh. I don't know. I'm probably going to be out of line. I don't know. But my life has been better, has been greater. I've had more peace when there should be none since I accepted my Lord and Savior and started building a relationship with him. And that to me is the thing that has allowed me to get through a lot of current situations and really just improve my outlook on situations. So I believe that if you build your relationship and faith with your Lord and Savior, and I'm not saying just go to church once a week. I'm talking about actually sit down, read the Word, spend time with it, think about it, and have conversations, talk, dedicate time.

48:30First thing I do when I get up is I'm 45 minutes into the Word, and I'm having time to sit there, and there's nobody up. It's three o 'clock in the morning and I'm, you know, I'm going through and I'm reading the word and I'm talking and I'm having conversations, you know, with my Lord and Savior. And it's not like you hear words back, it's feelings. And I didn't go lie to you, but I never had that before until I actually started to really, you know, build a relationship and then accepted my Lord and Savior. So I think what we need more of is more faith, more God. Yeah.

49:06James Harrison:So I think that helps. I feel you. I'm with you a thousand percent, man. God pushes to kindness, generosity, understanding, being able to have being able to just be there for people. You know what I'm saying? So like they said right there, always a helping word, always a motivational speech or not even motivational speech. Just saying I'm here for you. I'm loving for you. And like when you said, Debo, knowing life is bigger than you. You know what I'm saying? Having that Christ in your life, knowing that no matter what's going on, you always have a father that's with you no matter what. For sure.

49:41For sure, brother. Covenant Life,$20. She said, A.D. wife said, no, he's not returning. Yeah. Yeah. The queen of tennis is back, Serena, for sure. For sure. Debo, if you were called in to speak to the Steelers defense, what one thing would you hammer on? I don't know if I would hammer Oh Joe You have a terrible time

50:05James Harrison:Yeah I do Where? I brought water to the game It's probably in my room I can reach now and grab six of them I can't reach right now and grab one Because I brought them to the game You brought one? No I brought like five Because I had the whole family at the game We were still as down I brought all the jerseys Everybody had jerseys on We look sweet Okay, John, whatever you say. So if I was to go and talk to the defense now, I wouldn't need to have anything to hammer on because I don't think we have an understanding or a lack of, we don't know what we have right now until these coaches get a hold of them and actually get in at least four games and we see what our identity is going to look like.

50:56Hmm.

50:58James Harrison:You know? Yeah. You know what I'll tell them Communication Communication Communication gentlemen Y 'all got all the skills But you can't say that how you know they ain't Reeking they ain't already saying communication I don't That's why I said you gotta let them play it out I'm just gonna say You coming here right now talking It's gonna feel like See look Debo All I'm trying to say is If they gonna say one thing I'm just gonna say communication Hopefully the coaches are – obviously the coaches are probably saying communication, but just if they like this, damn. Well, we know that wasn't the thing last year.

51:37James Harrison:Joe double-downed on it. Like, because now if y 'all are communicating, y 'all are in the right – y 'all already had a schedule. Y 'all got the skills. Y 'all just need to know. Everybody knows what we got going on. Nobody's looking crazy like this. You know what I'm saying? I'm getting acknowledgement. I'm getting – you know what I'm saying? Yes. I'm getting – check, check, check, check. Bravo, bravo. I'm getting all that. Oh, I'm getting reset. You saying what I'm saying? That's communication. Like, I just need noise. I need y 'all to be talking. If we get that, now we're in the right spot. Now if you get beat, you're like this.

52:09James Harrison:Damn, like, I'm right there. I gotta just get the ball out. I'm like this. Yes. Not, not. Me and you, we're standing right next to each other. And the dude's back there. We're like this. Doing this one. And we're doing this one. What the fuck? I don't need no more what the fucks. I need this. I need this. Ah! Like, you know what I'm saying? Getting back up to the huddle. You know what I'm talking about? You smacking the ball out of his hand. Hey, tell me about it. You know what I'm saying? Tell me about it. Mike, Mike, Mike,$100. Oh, sorry. Mike, Mike, I keep saying$100. Mike, Mike,$100 said, invite Burl on the podcast.

52:43Or is that tampering? Hey, we can invite Joe on the podcast, okay? But it ain't tampering, okay? Because I don't work for the Steelers. No. Neither do I. Yeah.

53:01James Harrison:Mm-hmm.

53:05Joe, baby, game three tonight, man. We going to see what's going down, brother. If they win, I got to book me the first thing smoking up out, or the last thing smoking up out of here Tuesday so I can get into the hotel right there at Times Square. Yes. Go ahead and get all the lives going. I might even step out there. I don't even know, Joe. I might even step out there. If I get there in time so I can get me some cat, give me a cat jersey, get you a brown jersey, something like that, I'm going out there, and I'm going to be acting crazy, talking crazy. Real New York, son. You understand, B? Real New York.

53:42James Harrison:Real New York, son. For sure. You know? So you got them, we got them winning. If they win tonight, it's sweet. If they win tonight, it's sweet. It's sweepstakes. And I ain't going to lie, it's going to be jumping in there. Man. Joe, I ain't been in the streets in a minute, but I might go ahead and see what the street's talking about after that. A suite in New York? Hey, look, brother B, yeah, you let me know how that is. Tell me all about it. Man. FaceTime me.
