In short
The hosts debate why the Cleveland Browns named Deshaun Watson the starting QB (including a “two-game audition” away from home), what Browns fans should do if Watson struggles, and broader NFL/NCAA eligibility and NIL implications after a Louisiana court order. They also briefly discuss other sports news (Joe Burrow protection concerns, Nick Chubb retirement, and a Jed York prostitution-incident headline).
Guests (hosts)
The episode is mainly a two-person show with Joe and Deebo (no other named guests appear in the transcript). They speak as Browns/NFL fans and react to team decisions and league news.
Key claims
Browns fans should cheer for Watson if he performs; booing him after he returns home would be unfair if he’s winning. The “two games at Jacksonville/Tampa then Shador at home” plan is rational but risky for fan morale. The NCAA/NIL system is effectively a business and should allow players to earn; the court ruling could let NFL players return to college, creating roster/eligibility chaos.
Notable examples
Jacksonville and Tampa as Watson’s first two games; Shador taking over after home booing; Todd Monken quote about “not cool to be booed”; Browns waiving DaQuan Wright to LSU; comparisons to NIL/autographs and Reggie Bush-era changes; Nick Chubb retirement referenced.

3:32James Harrison:Joe, your boy Watson is the starting quarterback. Yeah. They said he would be the quarterback for you guys, brother. I guess the thought process, I guess, that's going through right now is, I guess, throw that tweet up there. It's kind of crazy, you know what I'm saying? Just looking at it, thinking about it, it may be a thought process. You know what you got to do? What did he say? Part of the thought process behind Deshaun Watson, the Browns starter, is that they opened the season with two games on a row at Jacksonville and Tampa before returning home in week three. They would give Watson two games to prove himself away from the fan base.
4:18If he struggles, Shador could take over in front of the home crowd
4:23James Harrison:after the booze Watson's received Saturday, Joe. What do you think of that thought process? See, that's something right there that he been thinking. I think, we think, everybody think, but we think. It's the thought process that I would think of trying to rationalize why you started. Everybody trying to figure something out. What you think, Debo? That right there, that sound good to me. That sound, I think it would be smarter for them to go ahead and let him do what he does. And then be like, you know what? We gave him his chance. He killed it. It ain't going to happen. and we ain't going back to him.
5:09James Harrison:And now we put him off on the back burner and we just scoot everybody up on the roster. See, he could be the back, back, back up. Like, three deep. You know what I'm saying? Like, but if he go out here and he ball out, he go out there, he do that thing and do that thing there, and then he come back. You can't boy me to go out there and put the numbers on the line, and put the stats that y 'all want to see, you know, out there and came away with two because of him, not because of the defense. It's because of him. Then, yeah, everything's good. And if it don't work out and he's playing like he played last, what, Saturday or anywhere close to it, yes.
5:57James Harrison:Hey, we going home. We gave him the two games. Now we doing our, I guess, due diligence of being like, all right, we're going to give him two. and now he ain't got a... I don't even know why that... I don't know. But I understand what he's saying. That sounds like that's a possibility. What do you think? It sounds like a possibility, but this is what I'm going to say too, Debo. It seems like we putting him in a... Like, I don't want him not to succeed. So that's the part. Like, if we start... When we start Deshaun, I'm a Browns fan. I want our team to do well. I don't want him to go out there and not do well.
6:33James Harrison:So the goal is if he goes out there, please play well. Hopefully he can do his thing, and then it would just be crazy. Because then if he goes back to Cleveland and we're 2-0, and Deshaun Watson is the starter, he's getting booed. I'm like, God, come on, Browns fans. Are we really just wanting Shador to start, or do we want to win games? So my thing is if he's playing well, if he's playing well, yes, keep him out there for sure. I want him to succeed. But if he doesn't do well, obviously we got those two games we're going to be able to look at and see what's going on. We come in, I think, 0-2.
7:07James Harrison:It's going to be easy for the fans to be in there booing all out for the season opener. So it would make sense to be able to get Shador in there. So I can see it, but I'm not doing that in the case of start him out there at the beginning. Hopefully he plays like ass, and then we can switch over Shador so he can start. I don't want that to be the situation. If we start Watson, let's go and give him the best opportunity. Go out there, please. Ball. Look like you did the first preseason game. He didn't throw the ball still downfield yet. He's still throwing a little bit of checkdowns, being pretty smart with it.
7:38James Harrison:You know what I'm saying? So I just want him to protect the ball, look good if he's out there. But if not, you know why I stand. But I want him to go out there, perform well. If he does, I'm cheering. I'm rooting. I'm not praying for his downfall so then we can just get your door in the game. Do you know what I'm saying? And so that's why I just say that because I want, like, you can, I like Shador, but at the end of the day, Deshaun, if you go out there and you perform, please, brother, you're fighting for the rest of your career right now. You're trying to get that next deal from another team, still showing that you can actually do something.
8:09James Harrison:Last preseason game was not good. Your first preseason game, I was like, okay, boom. Like, okay, looking good. So we're going to be able to see what's going on on the tape. But you got Jacksonville, where you got to go out there and pop off. I think it's Tampa next. So we got two. All right, Joe. Jacksonville, let's say he jumped down to Jacksonville. He going there in Jacksonville and Tampa, and he come out of there with an average of, say, 60. I'm a 68%, 70 % completion rate. Out of average around 260, 275 passing. And two studies. Now he come back home and they boo him. What you saying then?
8:50James Harrison:I'm saying, do y 'all really just want to win? or do y 'all just not like Deshaun Watson that much? I say, is the goal? That tells me you don't like him. No, no, no, for sure. That's what I'm saying, D-Bo. I think the goal for the Browns fans is to win. That's what I hope that we want first and foremost. Obviously, if Deshaun Watson is bringing wins, we need to cheer on this man. We need to, because we want to quarterback. We know that ain't, we ain't going to see. We ain't going to get the chance to run that experiment. I know, but look.
9:21James Harrison:70%, 270, 270. Debo, you throwing out some good Debo. Yes. I would love that. Please. I don't know if it's going to pop, but. Hell no, it ain't going to pop. Come on, man. Denzel. Denzel Boston. Concepcion. Our line. Junkins. We're going to have to be toting. It's going to be a whole lot of factors. You got to get the ball to him. It's going to be a whole lot of factors. That's the other thing. Our quarter. You got to get the ball to him, Joe. What's the line doing, Joe? We going to see. We going to see. We're going to see. That's crazy, too. And, hey, man, I understand that y 'all game. Why ain't Sador get the one offensive line?
10:01James Harrison:Why they putting on that? I ain't going to lie to you, too. That kind of, it was already, bro, remember we talked about it before. I think it was already. The quarterback position was basically already wrapped up. Remember when he was talking about, yeah, it wouldn't be fair if we didn't give him the start. Once he was sounding like that, I'm like, oh, yeah, Deshaun Watson already got the job. Shador is just, he's going to be the backup quarterback. He wanted to make it look fair. He wanted to make it look fair, but how was that fair at all? We went to the blade against the Bills with the backups.
10:37James Harrison:He didn't get the one opportunity. So it's all good, but like, boom, you're going to be the backup. We're going to see what happens with Deshaun going out there. I want him to play well because I want my Browns to win. But if he doesn't, just know the Browns fans is not playing. They have rights to be upset because they haven't got the production from the quarterback for the money. So it is. And there was some quote, Todd Munkett says, oh, yeah, it's not cool to be booed. Like, you could be honest about it, but winning changes all. So if you go out there and be successful and they still booing, I'm like, you can't be booing.
11:08James Harrison:He's throwing tutties. Now we look crazy. Now we just look like haters. hey, hey y 'all look like real live haters if that happens I ain't gonna even lie to you I kind of want to see it just to see if y 'all just haters or if y 'all actually want to win do y 'all just want to hate on somebody just to hate because you'll hurt people that just want to hurt other people or do you want to actually win and see what it's like to have that We want to win. That's for sure. People in hell want ice water, but they don't deserve it. And they damn sure don't get it. Maybe y 'all don't deserve it. Come on, man.
11:53James Harrison:Maybe you shouldn't get it. Debo, stop, man. Come on, man. Come on, man. We had a real heart-to-heart right there, man. I just really vented with you, brother. Hey, Joe. Hey, Joe, listen. Here's the thing, Joe. they say misery love company but you know what's better than that what a bully having it be your problems not mine you know I'm glad our problems Debo our remember I texted you the other day talking about something what are Browns doing man I must you must hit the wrong James on the phone I ain't seen I did text you that. Then I changed it back because you didn't respond. I said, what my brand was talking about.
12:42James Harrison:You was like, oh, yeah, that's what I thought. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I'm talking about. Yeah, that shit be throwing me off. I did. Yeah, yeah, you had me messed up, man. Like, yeah. Say, this nigga, I said, D-Boy, you ain't even going to respond? Listen, I didn't know what you was talking about. I was trying to figure out what you was talking about until you said, I was like, okay, I know what you're talking about. Now, I didn't understand. I was lost for a minute, Pedro. I'm sorry about that. But like I said, I did respond once you put clear. once I put clarity to you respond instantly.
13:09James Harrison:You know? Right. We talking about quarterbacks, you know what I'm saying? And I hear, you know, Joe Burrow might be a little disgruntled or a little sound like tradie to me. Listen to the sound. Get that up. Trying to put it out. I'm trying to put it out into the world. I'm trying to manifest it. I'm trying to show our guys the urgency that I have and that I want us to have as an organization to go and make it happen. You know, you can keep pushing it down the road or you can talk about it now and say this is the year. And, you know, I'm tired of saying next year, next year, next year. This is it.
13:52Uh-oh. Life is too short to keep pushing things down the road. Uh-oh.
13:58James Harrison:Trying to instill some urgency in everybody to go and be great every day and try to go make it happen. Hey, man. Hey, man, I ain't gonna lie. Will Howard, Drew Allen, they might got to both wait. Hey, Joe, listen, listen, Joe. The man said, he said he's putting it out in the world. He's just trying to manifest it, Joe. Joe, that's what he said. Hey, he tired of waiting. It ain't going to... Joe Burrow, listen here, man. we are here, bro. You know? Joe, what did I tell you, Joe? You? Joe, hey, what did I tell you? Joe, I said, listen, Joe, how it go? It's that the Lord is my shepherd. You know what I want.
14:48James Harrison:He know what you want. He know what you need. He know what you need. Joe, what does it say? Matthew 18, 19 through 20. He said, again, I say unto you that if two of you shall agree on earth that anything touching no he said that anything touching anything that shall be asked of them shall be done by my father which is in heaven. Joe we got to come into a great again where they said where two or three are gathered together in his name Lord we gather together your name. I know me you are coveted is in this thing. Yeah We all three. We got three now. We're gathered together and in a name looking for Joe Burrow.
15:37James Harrison:Okay? Hey, Debo, you've been saying this for a long time. And the first time you said it, I thought you was crazy. I kept on trying to cut you off and change the subject. I'm like, man, Debo just be out here just talking. He going to have people thinking that the show was crazy just because he talking. But, but, but, the more and more and more I watch and the more and more and more I see Mr. Joe Burrow, and guess what, first preseason game, he's standing back there getting hit upside the head again. I'm like, oh, y 'all not even protect them in the preseason? So, he's not playing. He's a solid, not solid, he's an amazing franchise quarterback.
16:20James Harrison:He got them weapons out there. He knows their offense is doing what they got to do. but he's like, end of the day, I'm trying to win some. So, Mike McCarthy, A-Rod, we might need, A-Rod sliding after this year. He gone. He taking off, Joe. That's going to be a little... They ain't going to be able to protect you over there, Joe Burrow. They ain't did that. You better come on, put that gold back on with that black, Joe. Max, we got Max to protect you, Joe Burrow. He working every day, every night. Come on, man. Look here, man. Listen, hey, they can't protect that man. They had joint practices and the Bears out there, Jamar Chase, the only one that was upset, man.
17:10James Harrison:He was heated, bro. Listen to what he said, bro. What did you see on that second? There might have been more than two scuffles, but the scuffle where Joe was sort of involved did you know nothing just defending my qb is it good when everybody's rallying around him in that that type of care what we do we just better protect joe
17:37James Harrison:yo my man said i don't care what we do we just better effing protect joe they ain't protecting you joe they ain't did nothing to try and protect you they can't even protect you in a practice they're not even trying to protect you because anybody that was trying to protect you as a head coach as an organization you don't do a joint practice with your starter in there you know that's nothing but many games that's a seven on seven mini game that's a that's a nine on seven mini game that's an 11 11 mini game it's a mini game that is 12 15 snaps of you against another team i wouldn't do that to you we wouldn't do that nope nope we had you joe chilling execution Clipboard, coach, making sure you're getting the right reads.
18:20James Harrison:Boom, boom, boom. Protecting you. Offensive line. Everybody good? All right. Joe's good? Good. Hey, this is Kevin. This is Joe. And Nick Jonas from Hey Jonas. 22:03James Harrison:That's what we would do. That's what we would do. Like, the only, the only, the only, you done sat down, Joe Burrow, and you done manifested. You said you manifested this, you doing all that, you going through all that this year. It ain't going to turn out how you want it to. I'm just going to let you know that because we got three in the greens over here. and they ain't did nothing to really protect you. They ain't put nothing in place. They ain't did, you know, and I just want you to understand. Jamar Chase is brilliant because he knows. He knows where his bread is buttered. He knows he got to have Joe Burrow protected at all times because that's why he's number one receiver because you know you're going to get them fly, them fade balls.
22:52James Harrison:He's going to be hitting you right on the money slants in motion and you taking them to the crib. So Jamar Chase, smart man. Protect this man. He getting me the rock. He getting me these tugs. Y 'all tripping. And y 'all ain't protecting him. Come on, man. That's the crazy part. That's the crazy part. You went over there, you spent some money on defense, a couple defensive pieces, but you ain't doing nothing to stop them from Joe. Joe been out here getting hurt because y 'all can't protect me. He been getting hurt. Yes. That man, he getting to midway through the season, and they start slapping him upside his head.
23:31James Harrison:He was in preseason game number one. He done gave y 'all y 'all warning. I'm sorry to have to tell you this, Bengal fans. He done gave y 'all y 'all warning. He done put it out there. Now, don't y 'all be surprised when this season get over with, and come offseason, he's sitting over here in that black and gold. Preseason game one, he was getting slapped already, and that did not look good. They got to protect that man. He was getting slapped in practice. Getting slapped in practice. Getting slapped in the preseason. Because you went and put your quarterback in your joint practice. He's been getting hit a lot, man.
24:08James Harrison:You got to keep that man upright. That's the only way. Keep picking him up off the turf. Your ass ain't going to the playoffs. Keep picking him up off the turf. Listen, they out of control, man. They out of control. They don't want to be going to do it. Matter of fact, the worst thing that's out of control than that, more out of control than that, is this Louisiana court order giving players signed by NFL teams a shot at returning to college sports. Dude, NFL teams are deep in the training camp, dude. We got, what, 53 on the roster? They got to cut the 30th. so you got i guess cats that are actually going to be leaving or what or have the opportunity to leave so it's supposed to be what i think they said like 16 or so uh players right now that are eligible for this ruling uh that are challenging uh ncaa eligibility rules i guess the issue or their oh you can appeal man they're crazy anyway what a surprise and guess who the Browns are waving your Juan Wright he about to go play for the Tigers he clears waivers or when he clears waivers he's playing for LSU he has agreement in place for 2026 season to play for LSU.

25:37James Harrison:Dude. Wright is believed to be the first player who could play for an NFL team and then go back to college. Dude, here's Todd Monken, dude. Listen to what he had to say about the transfer portal, bro. How you've been handling the Daquan Wright situation just seems weird, right? It seems like he's in the college transfer portal again in practice, but then I saw him warming up after the rain delay today? Man, it's crazy. I mean, I don't even know what to say. I mean, as far as I know, he's had a medical issue that wasn't allowing him to practice. That's a medical, you know, issue. It's nothing to do with me, you know.
26:24And then he was cleared, so we dressed him just in case we had to have him. But when you don't rep, it's hard to put him on the field. JT was out there, so we didn't want to get Blake hurt, and he's only been with us a week, and we had a number of things where Browns hurt Browns, and which to the naked eye you won't see, but we had a number of things that way when you're putting in guys that haven't really been there, and some of that's true, and some of it, you know, isn't good enough for us as coaches once they go out there, but I mean, I don't know what to say. I mean, you know, I wondered why Lane Kiffin reached out a week ago.
27:02Now I know. I mean, shit, I didn't know. Now I know. I didn't call him back. Now I guess I should have. Appreciate you. Thank you.
27:12James Harrison:Oh, man. Joe. Joe, what you think about? It's the Wild Wild West, D-Bo. It's the Wild Wild West. The NCAA and college football, they are a business. They are a business. They've been trying to get away with it for way too long. They're not making the rules, man. No, no, no. Debo, Debo, Debo. This is what I'm trying to tell you. They are a business, but they're not running it as such. They're running it like... Like the NFL, the way that we have our own representation, we're employees of the teams. Well, you got to realize the NCAA have been trying to get away from the business thing of it because they're supposed to be about education and students and all that other stuff.
27:59James Harrison:They need to realize this is a strict business. Straight business. Stop doing shit. Reggie Bush, back in the day, and when we say name, image, and likeness, we're talking about that. That's just, you can go get, if you are able to walk around and people know that you're the starting quarterback, Terrell Pryor, Ohio State, starting quarterback, they know who you are. You can get free stuff because if you are just a random person, okay, maybe they might not give you something, but, oh, Will Smith walks to a spot, gets a free dinner. It's a painter, an artist. If somebody knows who you are, they give you something for free.
28:31James Harrison:That's just because who you are. That's your name, your image, your likeness. That should just be, that's common sense. You should not be able to, when you're in college, if you're a painter, you make a painting. You can go sell that painting for a million dollars. That's because you went and did it. Whatever they want to buy it for. If somebody's going to buy it, take that bread. Because you did that work and you did it. If you're an NFL player, you couldn't go. If you're a college player, you couldn't just sign autographs. Because somebody will pay for your signature. You're not just a regular Joe Schmo that goes to that school.
28:59James Harrison:They're willing to pay for your signature, so you should be able to get it. No, you can't do that, Joe. That's what I'm saying. So, Debo, from the beginning back in the day, when they were not letting you literally get an autograph, a tattoo because who you are, or do an autograph signing and get$1 ,000 because somebody wants your autograph, they're bullying. I'm like, you can't just take away my whole personality. I'm me. People want my stuff so I can be able to go get what I can get for myself. Nothing crazy, no bad deal. I own your ass now. You belong to me. That's what I'm saying. So now what the college football has to stop doing is when we're back, your coach is making $5 million a year and the players weren't making nothing.
29:36James Harrison:So now when they're able to just go do signings and do stuff like that, it's a business. They're making your school millions and millions and millions of dollars. So now just they are employees. Stop acting like they're not employees. Like this. Or student athlete. Man, bump that. They're not student athletes. The dudes are going there, making that school millions of dollars. You are student employee. Student employee. 1 ,000%. So you got to have representation where like, but they don't want that. They've been stealing for so long, knowing they're getting over. And now you can, NIL, name, members, likeness.
30:11James Harrison:You can go sign an autograph and go get paid for that. You can go do boosters. You can go do the little stuff at the Chevy dealerships. Duh, because that's me. Like, if I was a random person, I walked over there. They wouldn't give me no deal. I can obviously go do it because of who I am. That's my name. That's my image. That's my likeness. So that's just the most basic stuff. And they weren't letting us do that from back in the day. Now I'm like, dude, obviously people are going to now start being able to get paid. Y 'all making too much bread. Y 'all been hiding it for too long. Like, you're up.
30:42James Harrison:Yo, so you can sign your contract, you know. You can sign NFL contract, you know, make it or not make it and go back. so like you got all these players that are you know covered under this potential whatever it is that got going on and like they could get a fifth year i guess because of uh how the eligibility thing is return to college because i ain't make it you know what i'm saying so this dude this dude hit the portal while he was still associated with the browns like he that's probably why he was saying his backer he didn't want to get hurt because they gave him a million or something like y 'all i ain't gonna make the team i'm gonna tell i'm telling my shit hurt i can't go out here and chance that man i got i got to go get this i got to go get this money over here from uh lsu like come on now hey listen so if it don't work you know what i'm saying hey just try try again you know what i'm saying that's what they that's what they get that's what you know but the biggest issue bro is like you're cutting out like a whole group of guys that especially young guys that's who go that's who go lose the young guys that got the scholarships that's already there and now all of a sudden you have this and now they're taking away a scholarship from a young dude who may just only be there trying to you know you're trying to get some you're trying to get some paper but now they're gonna took that away because they got to get some paper to go ahead and pay some paper and and all that other stuff so now what you go have happening is like hell you got rookies that if they still got eligibility left and this goes through and this stuff is good it sets precedent now college teams looking at the NFL rookie list who got eligibility left that ain't make it or go on the practice squad hey come on over here you play for us we give you a few million don't sit over there for them couple hundred thousand yeah what does it go to I understand.
32:39James Harrison:I'm with you. That's where it's looking crazy, where it's like the NFL. If you're going to be a teetering dude that barely makes the squad, or you can go back to college, hit him for a meal ticket, and when you make it to 23, 24. I'm going to go back and be the dog still. You're the fifth year. 23, 24. That's crazy. 4.5. Yes, and you're going versus an 18-year-old freshman trying to come in there. No, you're taking a spot. Right. You got your 18-year-old freshman trying to come in there. You ain't get out of here, son. Come on, man. You ain't even have hair in the arms barely, man. Get out of here, kid.
33:13James Harrison:Yeah, not what I'm supposed to do. I'm just sitting here now. I just got here thinking I'm good. I got this scholarship. At least I'm going to get a free education if nothing else. And now, boom. The Browns just cut the tight end. They take it. He coming to take your spot, coach. Like, how you think them tight ends over there feeling right now? Oh, sit. I better walk on. portal. Now they trying to call you back to renegotiate your whole NIL deal. Going to the portal. You seen Buddy from the Browns come to LSU? Hey, I'm out. Hey, all the tight ends, gone. Man, what New Mexico State talking about?
33:52James Harrison:Immediately. Listen, bro, they got to stop this, man. They got to stop this. Just put firm, hard play. You go and you try to leave, to go to the NFL, you declare for NFL, ain't no coming back. You're gone. You're gone. Remember that you could do the thing. You could do the thing. Don't sit over there listening to somebody that don't know what they're talking about. Man, you about to go in the first, second, third round. What's that thing called? You was able to, you could see before you leave, you could be able to put your name in the hat and see what it looked like. You get your draft grade. Yeah, see, I didn't know that.
34:28James Harrison:I didn't know you could do that because I wasn't, you know, I wasn't a draft. But you can do that, though. You can do that without losing eligibility. I couldn't put my name in the hat. You know, I threw my name out there, Deebo. Get what they said. Boy, you go first round, son. I said, well, I'm out of here then. I said, keep it in there. I said, keep it in there. Don't take it out the hat then. Don't take it in there. Leave it in there. Leave it in there. Yes. You pull that hat out there. You better keep that name in that hat. I dropped your whole hand in there with the car. I'm all the way in the hat Yep All the way in the hat Oh my goodness bro I guess we got a little Video here I guess this guy is a Navajo Native American He I can't even say his first name But his last name is Pete Listen to that Well That was an incredible win I am very fortunate to be amongst you and to play in the same field where the same star holds it on our chest.
35:36And I'm proud of us. I'm proud of how far we've come. Oh, man. This game, fate, brought us here as strangers. But this game, this star, this team will make us brothers.
35:57That's a bar. That's a bar. Y 'all boys on me. Y 'all boys on three. One, two, three. Y 'all boys.
36:06James Harrison:Yeah. Joe, I'm sorry. I can't. I want to do an accent so bad. No. No. I can't. Relax. I can't. What do you think, Joe? What do you think? Go ahead, D-Bo. What do you think? Hey, did he get him a roster spot with that? He on the team. He on the team. Hey, go copyright that right now, Pete. Copyright what you just said right now. He on the team. So that they can't use it unless they keep you on that team, bro. And they got to pay you for it, too. Because that was a bar. Go ahead and copyright that statement right now, baby. Yes, sir. Get that right. Whatever you said about that star, that sounded like some good stuff.
36:49James Harrison:But I ain't a Cowboys fan. Stump the star out. Shout out. Hey, man. Retirement of Nick Chubb, D-Bo. Shout out Nick Chubb. Browns, great, 8 ,500 all-purpose, like 54 tutties. Hey, man, they said the 49ers owner, Jed York, that man said that man was busted in your state, Ohio, in prostitucing case. Allegedly. Allegedly. Allegedly. It says San Francisco 49ers jet landed in an Ohio jail. No, I guess he did land in an Ohio jail. After being arrested on suspicion of engaging in prostitution. Ooh-wee. He was over there in East Palestine, booked into Columbiana County Jail before posting a$5 ,000 bond. He got caught overseas.
41:27James Harrison:It ain't that much. Yeah, it ain't that much. No, man, he just got caught right there, over there in Ohio with y 'all. that's what y 'all doing in Ohio? he's the 49ers on the coach I mean I know but he in Ohio he had to come all over to Ohio so is that what y 'all doing out there? what you I mean you tell me Debo I don't even know I don't even know I don't even know what that is yeah all that I'm from Maryland I'm from Fort Washington, Maryland you're from Akron, Ohio is that what y 'all doing out there? 49ers just flying into Ohio? he on that crash right there on his cheese? listen I don't know I don't know.
42:04James Harrison:Listen, I don't know what's going on. I haven't been in Ohio since 2000. My name Bennett and I ain't in it. My name Bennett and I ain't in it. And I did not. I don't even know where he would have went to even get anything. You ain't never know where to spot like that. I don't. I ain't never been. And that's a fact. That boy came all the way to Ohio. You know how good it got to be. Man, Debo, you know. You from there. I don't know. Stop acting like you're not from there. You man? You sitting there telling me. Oh, yeah, Joe, you Ohio. I don't know about nothing about that right there. I don't know nothing about that right there.
42:49James Harrison:Hey, Joe, I don't know nothing about that right there. Yeah. Listen, man, the 49ers ain't said nothing yet. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Now since you from Ohio, now you ain't in it. That boy done forgot where you from. My name, allegedly, Bennett, I ain't in it. I ain't from, I been, I was just a child when I left. Yeah, you know what? You right. Because then you became an adult. I told you I was a man. You got rid of the childish ways. Once I became a man, I was like, yes sir, I got rid of the childish things. Yes sir. Let's see what these people are talking about. Hold up, you talking about this Ohio, alright, I don't know.
43:27James Harrison:Somebody say it's in Cali, I don't know. they said it's in Ohio yeah you it's Ohio you know how you know it's Ohio yep never mind how how don't tell me how how Joe how do you know it's Ohio your speaker going off how do you know it's Ohio I said you know it's Ohio cause you from there it said Ohio I'm just reading the article as I see it right here off TMZ. What are you talking about? I'm messing with you, T-Full. I don't know, Joe. I'm messing with you. You know? Yeah. That's what I, you know. Ohio. O-H. That man flew all the way from Cali to Ohio. I-O. I-O. That boy's a boy. Let it go. Fly the private all the way to Ohio.
44:23Boy, on the G6.
44:28James Harrison:You're the G6. Don't you bring them back over them state lines. Don't you come back over here, Claude. Hey, man. I see why them boys getting injured in San Fran, man. Listen. They got to chill, Debo. They got to chill, bruh. Look here. Heco Sante. $10. It said, Drew Aller displayed good field progression, steady pocket presence and awareness. and navigated well on and off the platform under pressure through two great passes to show his potential playing with tryouts. Yep. I ain't lying. I just want to keep seeing more and more. Hey! Smooth feet. He looks comfortable. And I let Coach keep coaching him up.
45:21James Harrison:Hey. Mike, Mike. Mike, Mike, man. 100 he said he got 10 dollars he said he said he said Watson still have eligibility he can go back to Clemson if the NFL don't work out that boat ain't help nah man he ain't going back he ain't going back they ain't paying enough in Clemson oh my goodness we have she and what she hmm I don't know
46:07James Harrison:hey we appreciate you though she said Joe does Shador deserve to be traded to have a shot at playing or does Shador have to be traded to have a shot at playing is what I believe I don't think so I think you know it's a long season and not saying the injuries for sure, but we'll see. I think that he's going to be able to get his chance within, I don't know, first couple of games for the Browns season this year. So I think he's still going to be able to be, he's going to start some point of this year for sure. But I'm not saying that I hope Deshaun messes up or gets hurt, but it's just a long season and he hasn't played a full year since 2021.
46:48James Harrison:So just going off past, I think both of them are going to get their shots to see what's going on. Okay. We got Covenant Live. She's back. $10. Said, Joe Burrow, come on the Debo show. Come on the Debo and Joe show and explain why you'd rather deal with Cincinnati than come to Pittsburgh. And whatever you do, don't ask the Browns about their quarterback situation. I take Joe's. Look, Joe Burrow, obviously, Debo brought it up first. So, distillers for sure. I can't have him on the show. That's inside of trading. Like I said, we don't want to throw it in nobody's face, but we wanted to make sure that they were aware that he was trying to manifest good things before he ended up having to make a career decision for the betterment of himself and his family and his career legacy in football before he ends up even on Black and Gold.
48:01James Harrison:Heckle Santa, he is back$2. He said, Debo, show Burrow that's so important. Oh, yeah. See, that's what's going on. Burrow, Burrow, Burrow, here, I got it. Burrow. You want one of these? Burrow. Hey, look, Burrow. It ain't nothing but a pinky ring for you. Boy, let me make sure I got it the right way. Show it to him. Yeah. There it go. Hey, there ain't nothing but a pinky ring for you, boy. You know what I'm saying? Ain't nothing but a pinky ring. Little pinky ring. Yeah, look at that. So, Burrow, that's a Burrow owner. That's a Burrow owner there, but you got to come over here to get one. You got to come over here to get one, Joe.
48:43James Harrison:You know why you got to come over here to get one? Because it's a piss part. Stealthy line. And you ain't navigate over that. This is where the Super Bowls are made. Which one is going to be? Hot. Seven. Seven. After we go, by the time he get here, we'll be working on eight. Yep. You know? By the time he get here, we'll be working on eight because seven coming. Seven coming this year. And when they do, I want y 'all to remember. We said it. Mike, Mike, he back two dollars he said do you get to enter the draft again after going back yes you get to enter the draft again after going back that's wild there's no way I just said that I don't know if that's true or not I think so for sure for sure I would assume you would be able to enter the draft again after you went back because you would be coming out again I would think so like who is when you leave the league you can yeah for sure yeah you would have to because you went back to college now you back out again you can get you can be in the draft yes bruh NFL stop this NFL can stop this for sure they can 100 % and tell you like hey you get one draft that's it you go back you can't come back once you leave college cut this short right now say hey once you come to us, if you go back to college, you can't come back to the NFL.
50:16James Harrison:Roger Goodell could do that right now. Once you leave, you forfeit eligibility, I thought.
50:23James Harrison:That's it, bro. Once you come, you can't go back. If you go back, there's no coming back. NFL. That's it. Here we go.
50:36James Harrison:Issue solved. James Harrison just solved that for you. That was easy. Give me a call, man. Hey, Roger, Give your boy a call. I just solved that for you. It's easy. It's done. All right? As a matter of fact, what I'm going to do is I'm going to give you a call, and I'm going to bring you on the Deebo and Joe show and explain to people, you know what I'm saying, we're going to chop it up, have a good time, even though, like I said, it's different now. We good. We good. We got, coming to life back again,$10. She said, Joe, I got to ask, how does Cleveland, Go from Shador is the future to Watson being the quarterback.
51:16James Harrison:Then they boo you on top of it. Joe, at this point, Cleveland needs a quarterback, a therapist. Dang, coveted? But, so look, coveted. The Browns fans were saying the future. It wasn't the ownership. Ownership never said that Shador was the future. It was mostly the Browns fans thinking like, okay, we got a guy that can do it. And we know they don't know nothing. From the top, they was always standing in competition. They're going to see what's going on. So, I mean, from the fans' perspective, that's why they booed in because they never, I don't think they really thought that Deshaun was going to be the guy.
51:58James Harrison:So, yes. Okay. Joe, we're at Covenant Light back again. she said, Joe, with Chubb retiring, what does that mean to you as a former Brown? How he was one of the toughest and most respected players in Cleveland and be honest probably to be honest and to be honest did Browns fans ever accept him enough or sorry, appreciate him enough while they were Why they had you. Man, Debo, yes. I can tell you that right now, coveted. That man, Nick Chubb, is going to go down as one of the best Browns because he came there, work hard, lunch pail, never. He don't talk. You knew you were going to get great work out of him every day.
52:52James Harrison:So it reminded me, like, Joe Thomas doesn't speak a lot, but they're going to be exactly where they are. They're going to lead by example. They're going to do their job. and people talking about Nick Chubb, how hard he is to tackle, just how he keeps working, grinding. He's just one of them dudes that's going to come give it to you every single day. So I think the Browns fans, from my perspective, everybody I talk about loves and respects Nick Chubb. Ridiculously. For sure, for sure, Joe. Look here. That looks like that is our last Super Chubb. Ladies and gentlemen, We want to thank you guys for joining us on this episode.
53:32James Harrison:Yes, we do. Make sure you like the episode right now. Like it up, man. Like the episode right now. Like it up. Subscribe and download where you get your podcasts. Joe. Yo, it's been real. I appreciate y 'all. We will see you guys tomorrow, same time, same place. Let's get it. And we out. How you doing today, Joe?
54:01James Harrison:Let me tell you something, Debo. Debo, it's my time real quick.
