In short
NFL contract and media/leadership drama—Joey Porter Jr.’s situation with the Steelers (including talk of tagging, trade rumors, and player incentives), plus Deshaun Watson’s Cleveland media comments and performance expectations. Also discussed: college eligibility legal fight (Daquan Wright, Xavier Harris) and broader “private entity vs law” arguments.
Guests
Debo and Joe (co-hosts). No other named guests appear in the transcript.
Guest backgrounds
Debo and Joe are presented as NFL insiders/players and football analysts, speaking from a player perspective about contracts, guaranteed money, injury risk, and locker-room dynamics.
Key claims
Players can’t “ask for a raise” on declining value; teams may tag to extract trade value. Watson said media expects 400 yards/5 TD weekly; hosts argue Cleveland fans just want competent, low-turnover production. Alleged Haslam/Monken influence on starting Watson and possible “Manning” involvement. NFL GM quote: Watson could be pulled if he keeps playing poorly.
Notable examples
Joey Porter Jr. trade/tag speculation; Watson’s 2019 400/5 context and recent low yardage; Wright/Harris restraining order; Browns vs Steelers/Patriots/Tampa game talk.

People wake up and go, oh damn, wait a minute, hold up. They changed all of that?
0:44James Harrison:Yes. It's real. This is a wholesale attack. It is targeting black people in every federal agency. It's raw. White folks have never allowed that reckoning to last more than a decade. Catch Roland Martin's daily commentary on the Black Information Network. And download Roland Martin Unfiltered on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And, I mean, it don't bother us as players. You know, like, that's the whole reason why you had Practically McQueen. They talked to Queen. And Queen, you know, Queen was like, yo, I'm witty 100%. I'm on his side. Like, here, listen to what he said.
1:22Yeah. No, I haven't heard anything. and I'm with Joey, whatever he's doing, whether it's injury, whether it's contract, whatever it is, I respect it. I'm behind him 100%. I tell him every single time I respect how you go about your business every single day because I know y 'all see the stuff that he does out there, but he also is inside putting in work, whether it's enemies, whether it's in the weight room, whatever it is. So I definitely respect him. Yeah, bro, like this is what it is. Like, this is why it is like we're going to support each other because we're all in here together. Like we see we got eyes.
2:01We see what he doing. We see how he plays. We see what he means to this team. We see what the market is looking like to at this position. And we know what he's done. We know his worth to our team, to our defense, to us as players on this defense. Like, this is not something that we're going to go and like flip on. no here i'm supporting it 100 because this is the only option that you really have right as as a player this is the only way you can get any type of recourse to what you want to try and get accomplished especially when your numbers aren't looking as they should or as you feel they should especially when you're looking at a 33 like come on like 33 especially when you're looking at what it is.
2:46Even if you go to the bottom of that seahorn, what's his name? J.C.
2:52James Harrison:Horn. That's still 70 guaranteed on 100. 70. It's the GT. 25 a year. It's a guarantee. It's a guarantee. You're exactly right, Debo. And it's the old school of where you can hear what... Let's get into what Queen's saying. Let me get back to that. Because a thousand percent Players, if they could pay your dudes, he would pay them. We know there's nothing we can do with the contracts. Every single year, that's agent talk. There's nothing that can happen. We want everybody to get paid as much as they possibly can. That's the business aspect of it. We know. We control what we can control. We know what we want them to be out there.
3:38James Harrison:So as far as the player goes, it's NFL, not for long. Joey Porter Jr. has been doing what he had to do those first three years. And still, as far as the business, he's under contract for the Steelers, so they got to do what they got to do. But Joey Porter got to do what he got to do. So as far as players understand, you got a short amount of time where you can hit and you can be good and try to take care of your family. I heard when Nick Herbert was talking about it, he was like this, oh, obviously, because I know what this contract did for me and my family. So at the end of the day, this is football.
4:09James Harrison:Everybody, when we get in the locker room and we're talking to the coaches and we're in these meetings, we're trying, everybody's working their ass off to do what we can do and perform to the best level. But when we start talking about people's money and how much they're supposed to make and how they're going about their business of taking care of their family and what they feel like they're worth, oh, that's none of my business. I want you to be on the team out here in the locker room. When you get here, you're going to get here and you're going to do exactly what you're doing. But for that, I'm not working.
4:35James Harrison:I have a contract that I'm playing for that I like, that's guaranteed. And I got my stuff going on and I may be in a whole different situation as you with is I don't care. I just know when you're in this locker room with us, you bring everything and you work hard and you do your job. So do what you got to do. So that's, that's where people on your team, it's never a rift. I feel like they're doing this. It's like, no, you can't get no rift. We understand the business. It was a point in time, I think, where you had some guys that were just foolish enough to be like, man, he just need to nod, you know, that's like that.
5:09James Harrison:No, because tomorrow you can come into the locker room and your locker will be cleaned. Cleaned. Because it's like there's no love when it comes. Like, you can get cut. I don't control your faith to be here. I want you to be here as much as you can. I got to worry about me. I got to be on the team. I have to be making sure my job is secured so nobody comes and takes my stuff. So that's where it's always. He's doing the same thing, man. Like, you know, shit, Lil Peasy, 26 right now, bro. What are you talking about? He's 26, bro. Like, you're talking about as a corner. like you want to go and not play this year.
5:41Now they tag him next year. And then you can turn around and tag him again. You talking about this man could be playing on a one-year tag at 28 and then hoping they get a big deal at 29, huh? Because the whole protocol of how the contracts are set up and what is allowed through the NFL PA and the collective bargaining agreement, this is crazy. Like, oh, you got a four-year contract. You need to play the four-year contract out. Yeah. OK, I understand what you're saying, but you don't use your body to play a game. You sit here at a desk. You go and you use you can go and pull you and blow your ACL and still go to work.
6:17We can't. OK, I need to make sure I have that guaranteed paper, especially when I'm getting into the highlights of my year. And then through that end to the point of where, you know, all right, they're going to start trying to let you go and release you and get you up out of here. because you're at that point where they feel like the age is declining. You're playing enough to where that money's not worth it for us anymore. But they can ask for a pay cut, but you can't ask for a raise, though. Like, come on. Yeah. And when you say no, what they do, Joe? Chop. Gotcha. You're about it there, Joe.
6:56Chop suey. Chop suey. It's no recourse, buddy. Chop suey. So, yes, do what you got to do. But I'm telling you, man, I don't think this would go in as we had hoped. No.
7:21James Harrison:I don't know what it is they want in the trade. I was hoping my man would have got the deal before the last hour, before the first game started. it and everything would have been everything yeah yeah the full four four hundred even even even that's so less but for but the guarantee money this is the 70 we could have got 50 to 70 guaranteed at least the first two because when we look at like you said herbics 42 that's the first two dk metcalfs 60 is his first two we can do it we could you could do the first two so if it's 33 and that's the first two you tell me that's trying to give him 16? Five?
8:03No, no, no, no, no. I'm just asking. I'm just saying. You saying they couldn't even guarantee him the first two? You thinking they was giving him 33 for one? I highly doubt it. No, no, no.
8:11James Harrison:No, no. They probably gave him, it's probably 25. It might have been, hold up, 33. It might have been 29 and then his$4 million this year. That sounds like it might have made sense. Like I said, I know. But that's still a one-year guarantee, though. They do it with who they want to do it with, I think, is what it comes down with. That's what it is, Debo. That's what it is. And I think they feel like the value of what he is as far as what he's done, his body of work, is not at the value of what it is they feel is worth more than that 33. You got TJ, you got DK, you got, you know, and Herbie, you know.
8:59other than that, I mean, and again, you still got to, like I said, with Herbic, they're like, oh, he's this, that, that. Yeah, but the market for outside guy now is close to, you know, almost 45, 50, and he's getting 25. So, you know what I'm saying? That's mid, upper mid tier of more than, you know, average. So, especially, you know, I don't know, right? I don't know, but we're going to see how it rolls out. But we are. If somebody don't step up and be like, yo, we're willing to give whatever it is they want in a trade. And they're saying that the actual interest for trades for people actually willing to put up or other teams willing to put up is not a real big market out there for it.
9:54I don't know if I – see, I got to check that.
10:00James Harrison:That was the rumor. I think that – you know that's the rumor. If somebody came in and said, hey, I want to give you a one-plus, a player, you think they wouldn't take that? No, they would. Okay. They're open. It's been said that they're open to a trade. They just had not got – I think Sheffner reported that they had not got what they want, rumors. or what he said. Well, they need to, well, Detroit, they need to go ahead and reevaluate what they need. Hey, listen, I don't know, but are they going to give up? And then do they want, like, if they want a one-and-a player? Depending on, like you said, there are 31 other teams.
10:49And who do you want over here as a TV? It ain't nobody we want. Look what they just did.
10:58Who are we going to? You're right. You're right. You're right. And, you know, like, if you give them a little piece, that pick ain't going to be that top three to five.
11:11James Harrison:Yeah, so you're just trying to send Peasy to a – No, I'm just saying. I know. We're saying. That's how you get the good pick, though. Right. that's how you get the good pick you know hey i can send him over there and and and they they go he go he go do what he do but it's still gonna give me that three or five three to five pick i can take a chance on that but they ain't even got no money over there they can't they they working with half of the half of the uh uh income half of their uh what you call a salary cap anyway
11:51and now you send him over here to Detroit they gonna do something with him that's for sure but that's gonna lower your pick on your first cause they ain't taking the two even though he was the two they ain't gonna take a two they ain't gonna take nothing close to it
12:07James Harrison:this is not a conversation I was expecting them to be having hell no so that's So that's why I don't know. That's why everything is up in the air. That's why it's business now because we're going to see. Because we're going to see what happens. We're going to see what the Steelers do. We're going to see what Joey Porter Jr. does. Because as far as, like, now we said, is he practicing? Is he not? Here, Mike McCarthy, what do you guys know? My bruh. We're going to see. He's supposed to be out there today and stretching. I hope. I don't. Dude, I can't. Man, you're in a bad position. If they ain't bluffing, and he ain't bluffing, and he do the only thing he can't do is just sit out, and they do the only thing they can do and tag him to make it worse.
13:04James Harrison:Well, we're saying they got to tag him. That's through this whole year, though. Right. It's only week two. That's what I'm saying. You got to look at the long game. You think they playing the short game? I understand. If that was the case, they would have just took whatever they could have got.
13:22James Harrison:I'm telling you, Debo, it's starting to happen. It's only been one week. So he didn't play. And then it went from when they were saying it was conditioned. Okay, so you think he's going to play? I don't think he's going to play. I'm just saying that I'm interested in to watch how he doesn't end up playing. You know what I'm saying? Like finding out the way, is it because he starts his back and then they put him in the IR? Is it because then he ends up saying, no, I don't want to be here. I'm trying to get traded or I'm going to still sit. There's plenty of different ways now how this could go.
13:56Are you saying just go ahead, get healthy, and then, yo, I'm not playing sit, take the fine. He is. Yo, get me out of here. I'm telling you all right now, I don't want to be here. You don't want me here. So just go. I can understand that. Because now you just, you're making a man stay that don't want to stay if you tag him. Now you're being vindictive and you openly doing it.
14:17James Harrison:And it's not that he doesn't want to stay. He wants to get paid. And they're saying, no, I'm not going to pay. He wants to get paid, no question. But again, as I'm them, I'm sitting back like, yo, you sit here and you play with me all year. And now you think I'm just going to let you go because you asked for a trade. No, I'm going to tag you and see what I can get. And if I can't get nothing, you're going to end up playing on this tag because you can't sit out two years. And you're going to play up with all you got because if you don't, you ain't got a shot. But that's the part. Anytime that's and that's why with with the players, when you're on the field with Joey, if Joey Porter Jr.
14:49James Harrison:touches that field, he's going to ball and he's going to go as hard as he possibly can. Risking injury instantly. He's not going to ever go out there because you can't show yourself on tape going anywhere but full speed. There's no such thing. So that's why Joey Porter Jr. is so nervous about getting out there because he's like, no matter I plan on being great. As soon as I touch the field, I'm working my ass off. But at the same time, next play, I could get something could happen to me. And then everybody's like, oh, no, we knew it was going to be like, you don't plan on that. But you don't plan on it.
15:23James Harrison:You don't plan on it. And then when you're out there thinking about it, you know it's more of a highly likelihood of you actually getting hurt. Because it's in your head. You're thinking about it. And that's not the way. That's not the way. Oh, snap. That one time where I know when I was out there playing, bro, I'm like, yo, I can make this tackle. and something in my head is like, yo, get your ankle. Every time before I got hurt, bro, I swear, something was like, move this or move that. I'm like, no, I can still make the tackle and take that no. Boom, high ankle, six weeks. Boom, high ankle, another six weeks.
15:57I'm like, no, I can make the tackle. And I'm pointing to the dude. I'm like, yo, he's coming right here. He's about to crack you. He cracks him. I seen him flying. I'm like, no, I can make the tackle. I feel like I get my leg out the way too. Nope, bye. like you but also i was thirsty i was hungry out there i was on special things
16:16James Harrison:for sure mom are we there yet 10 more minutes only 10 minutes can you drive slower what's up with them today lingo kids that app we downloaded last week they love it the games this funny baby bot character kids we're almost there no with more than 4 000 interactive games songs and shows

I knew that the issue of transgender athletes was not going well with a lot of black men. Roland Martin unfiltered. I went off. I said, this is exactly what I'm talking about. Y 'all gonna scream at Chanel, but you don't want to see a black luxury company in the same vein.

I was willing to die for this shit. Bro, you gonna do what you gotta do. Yeah, bro. Like, hey, but I'm gonna tell you something that's real crazy, though. Your boy Deshaun Watson was asked if he needs to have a big game to start the Browns' first home game over. This is what he had to say, bro.
18:10What he had to say. Return home goes really well. No, I think personally, I think all that is for the media. I mean, I think the media has this expectation that I'm supposed to throw 400 yards and five touchdowns every week. So until that happens, I guess it's going to be the same situation. So, again, my job is to make sure I'm operating well so we can try to get a win and keep moving forward from there. Hey, Joe, man, that man said they expected him to throw a 400-yard five touchdowns, Joe, every week, man, every week, Joe. He can't be doing that every week, man. Bro, what's your boy talking?
18:48Hey, Joe, last time he threw a 400-yard five touchdown with 2019, dude. He was in Texas. He was 158. He had a perfect passer rating, brother. Okay? Yeah. 2020 is when they went on ahead, and I think it was then he – I think that was where he had a game that was like 301 or something like, 301 yards like that, something like that. But that game he's talking about that he ain't got to go out there and have every year, that's why they all gave him that$230 million guarantee, Joe, A, because of what he did in what was that, in 20, because he didn't play in 22 – I mean, 21, right? yeah he was out 21 he was out 21 okay so if you go back I think it was what was it the whole time in Cleveland playing for Cleveland
19:47what up
19:51James Harrison:hold up hold up hold up Debo you're muted
19:59Debo there you go there you go all right listen joe since the man got paid brother okay and he done got to cleveland what was that 2022 right guess i mean got guess how many 300 yard game passes he done had zero zero the man to lose no he talking about i gotta go out here for 400 and since he got there, brother, the man has an average of 178 yards a game. Only 20 games, Joe. 178 yards a game. Joe, Joe, what's your man talking about? I think the last time he had over 200 yards was last week. Oh, that's why he feeling good. He had 205 yards last week. And then before that, I think it was 2024, the seven games he played Then he didn't have one game that was 200 yards and more.

20:55So he feeling good right now. It's progress. That's what it is. So now they feel like you got to go out there and have 400 yards, five touchdowns every game, man. Like I just got to go out there and get 206 this week. What's going on? What's your boy talking about right here, Joe? The money go to his head.
21:17James Harrison:This is what I'm saying. Man, I don't, I don't, this doesn't make me feel good to say things like this about Deshaun Watson and about the things that he says that are sound crazy or a little bit ridiculous. Like, Deshaun Watson, when you say that the Cleveland media, and now I'm a part of the Cleveland media, and I don't like to be sitting there, and my job is not to just sit there and bash. I don't want to do it. But you say things sometimes that are so wild that I'm like, why would you say that? Only thing, I'm a Browns fan. Only thing I want is competent quarterback play. I don't want 400 yards.
21:59James Harrison:I don't even need five touchdowns. I just need 200 some, two tutties, no picks. Just don't turn over the rock. Chill, solid. Don't get strip sacked. Run my offense. Make it look sweet. this right here. Hey, man, get out the chat, man. Chat over here tripping, bro. What? What? What chat is that? I ain't even saying nothing, man. I'm not saying nothing, bro. Hey, man, they talking about Deshaun got more charges than yours, man. See, stop, bro. The thing is, though, it's Deshaun, like, I understand. We're talking about the football. If you're, you have to be a great self-evaluator and read in the room.
22:42James Harrison:I like when Jaden Daniels, He took credit. He took responsibility for something Stefan Diggs did when he ran out there and jumped on the thing and took the flag. He's like this, I'm the quarterback. I need to be able to go ahead and do this. You know why? Because that's your franchise quarterback. And you make$65 million a year, and you can be able to take it on the chin and be able to move on. Understand where you are. You're making$45 million a year for a franchise where you haven't thrown for 300 yards ever. So when do, and then you've done, like you sat out because a whole other bunch of, like things are happening with you, Deshaun.
23:19James Harrison:And we're actually now evaluating you on your football play. And it's not good. So you can be able to stand and be able to say, if you're not playing well, you need to play well. That exits the booze. Yo, it's good enough. The man is a starter. Stop. No, Debo. No, no, no, no, no, no. It's only 32-0. You know everything I'm saying is actually correct. because I'm like, Deshaun, please, brother. You're making... The thing is, once you start making this type of brand because what you did in Houston, we just want to see continued... We're not even asking for that type of play because that type of play we haven't seen.
23:56James Harrison:We haven't seen you throw 400. We haven't seen you do the Houston type thing. So we just need you to go out there and be productive for us. And it hasn't looked that good. So when you're making this type of money, you have to be able to read the room and be able to accept responsibility, know what's going on, and when you do play well, that will eliminate some of the boos. So, yes. You know why that man got paid? Because he was balling. When you average 300, when you average 300, y 'all, I think 301, Joe. Yeah. I think it was 2020, that man average 301. And then he didn't play again in 2021. And y 'all went over there and gave that man a$230 million guarantee.
24:42That's the only people who would have did that is Cleveland. That's Cleveland things to do. Matter of fact, that's why they starting him. So according to, what is this, Jason LeCocken for? LeCooko, whatever his name is. The Browns owner, Jim Haslam, wants the Texas quarterback, Archie Manning. So in a quote, he said he wants Archie Manning playing in that stadium. Haslam is a major Tennessee booster with strong ties to Peyton Manning. Hey, Joe, I know now why y 'all over there playing that play. And it's the setup, Joe. This make perfect sense, bro. Y 'all, now listen. And it's a report. Listen.
25:34Now it's a report that's saying from the same Jason Cat that behind the scenes, Monken had to yield to the ownership regarding starting Watson. Because if you don't start him, I'm just saying this ain't confirmed. This, of course, is, you know, this is, you know, I don't know. It ain't said ain't nobody agreed. Ain't nobody said this is what it is. ain't nobody you came through the forewishing. Monk and they said, yeah, they done, they made me do what I did. Ain't nobody said that, but okay. In the streets. And you, Joe, you know I keep my ear to the streets.
26:18James Harrison:I know you keep your ear close to the streets. Hey, hey. I know you keep it. Joe, I keep my ear in the streets and for what the streets are saying, though. The streets are talking, it's real.
26:31What did the streets say? Hey, listen, now don't get it. He a huge booster. He probably already, he a huge booster over there. So he already, Archie probably already got something coming, you know what I'm saying? You know? And they're close friends with Peyton and them. So now they probably going to have a whole, you know, it might be a situation. You know, Uncle go have to get, Eli go, you got to get, you got to get his way. But this going to be a situation where they're going to be like, hey, listen, it ain't going to be just me. Hey, we bringing in the Mannings now. Hey, we bringing in. Allegedly.
27:02I'm just saying, listen, I'm telling you this. I'm allegedly. Allegedly. I'm saying what I think might happen if it happens, and it goes like this. If it's – I'm Haslam. I'm going to bring in everybody, and I'm going to get rid of everybody. And I'm bringing in all the mayonnaise. I'm bringing in mayonnaise, the mayonnaise. I'm bringing in Archie. I'm bringing in Peyton. I'm bringing in Eli. I'm bringing in everybody. Listen. I'm bringing in Cooper. All of them. Listen. I'm bringing in Cooper. You don't even know who Cooper is, do you? I don't even know who Cooper is. Cooper Rush? Cooper was the coldest.
27:36Oh. Cooper was the coldest. You didn't know about Cooper, huh? No. Okay. I want to hit the Cooper. Listen, you better check out Cooper Manning. He was the coldest now. Hey, look here, Joe. What you think?
27:51James Harrison:All right. First and foremost. What? If we bring in the Mannings. I believe that Jimmy Haslam obviously has his hand in everything that we got going on because he's the owner of the team. He's more of a hands-on owner. He's more of a Jerry Jones type owner. And that's something that you can't tell a man how he's going to run his team. It may not be the best way, but that's the way that Mr. Haslam is doing it. And I can see now he got his hand in the fishbowl. He's making some choices. So if you're talking about bringing in the Mannings, I just would like him to bring in somebody that he would maybe listen to.
28:33James Harrison:If you think the Mannings are going to be able to make some decisions, I think you got to put smart people in decisions that are smarter than you. I think that we need to have it to where Jim can. Well, they ain't coming. They ain't letting them know. Look, listen, you talking about us bringing everybody in on Tennessee? Go ahead. Bring them in. Bring in the Mannings. I hope that could turn into something like the way that John Lynch is out there doing it. Or Eli or Elway in Denver. just getting some sort of control, somebody where I can know there's going to be a consistent face there trying to help our team win bringing things together.
29:05James Harrison:Okay? I'm not mad at it. I'm not mad at it. Joe, Joe. But this is what I am at. Archie ain't coming if the manis ain't coming and you ain't giving them power. They ain't about to be over there and be like, yes, they have say but no power. No. We have say and power. Matter of fact, we have more power than we got say. Well, we're going to have to figure that out. I would love that. Then at least we know where to point the finger to. Then just keep saying the owner is making all the decisions. If we have somebody that we at least know is making the decisions. In the same article, Joe, they said it's numerous league sources have indicated to me, talking to your boy, that the locker room is already over this stunt.
29:48Players on that roster are over this constant drama. There is no leadership. Coming from Watson at all at this point. Wow. That's what your boy Jason's talking about. I ain't saying it. I just read it. I just look at it. I don't know. This ain't me. I'm just saying. I'm just reading what's on paper, Joe. I mean, it's a quarterback of your team.
30:17James Harrison:Who? Quarterbacks of Hilton. Who is your? My team. My team. Yeah. Quarterbacks. are held to a higher standard. So when we say that the quarterback has to come in there and for one, the way that Deshaun right now is even handling the media, it seems like he's being petty with the media. Joe, listen. Joe, hold up. Let me hear one more. One NFL GM said Watson will keep playing like S. I... You know what I'm talking about? Yeah. To see how fast they'll pull him. He's calling their bluff. NFL GM said that. I ain't say that, Joe. NFL GM said that. It's in the article, Joe. It ain't me. I'm just reading what's on the paper.
31:10I ain't did nothing to nobody ever. Except for maybe a couple people I might have put to sleep. That's it. But they needed to go to sleep. They was tired. Joe, this sound like the Browns browning to me, Joe. Huh?
31:27James Harrison:Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Okay. I can hear you, Debo, but everything you're saying is making sense. And when I don't have nothing, I can't argue with you. I mean, we just need... Hey, man. Y 'all, man done took enough of a beating, man. Let's carry him on in the house, man. Come on, man. Listen, Joe, the NFL has sent a memo to teams informing them that Daquan Wright and Xavier Harris are ineligible to visit, try out, or sign with them during the 2026 NFL season. Wright and Harris were granted a temporary restraining order that allowed them to return to college football this season. But backlash from the conferences over their plans to sign with LSU ultimately ended that possibility.
32:25Any sympathy over this right here for these guys, Joe? No. Yeah. Yeah. How do you feel about this, Debo? Hell no. I don't feel sorry for you. You got to be out of your rabbit ass mind. If you think you go go and go out there and try and go up against. Basically, you trying to set precedent. Ain't nobody did this before. You going up there with a case that ain't nobody tried before. That's called setting precedent. And you want to be the first one to win it. It ain't no way. They ain't about to allow you to do that. you go go up there and they go say hey you go do no no no that ain't gonna happen look here when you're going up there and you go sue somebody for something like this you got to get you some case law and you got to make sure you get some case law over there where you got situations and circumstances where it's something like you're in and then you got to make sure that those case laws they got like a 95 percent win rate that's when you go and you sue the piss out of them joe i I ain't going to sue you, Joe.
33:35I done had to sue some people before. And, hey, you got to do what you got to do when you got to do it. But it ain't never got to court. You know why it ain't never got to court, Joe? Because I go and make sure I do my research. And they're going to settle before we get to court. Because if I get to court, Joe, I'm suing you tenfold, Joe. I'm coming at you for everything. I'm going to breach a contract, Joe. I'm going for anything, man. Misappropriation of funds. I'm going for intentional misrepresentation. fraudulent concealment of everything dude i'm going for breach anything anything like fiduciary duty breach of fiduciary duty you name it joe i'm going for it all like it don't matter i'm going because you made me have a headache going through this shit i'm sorry for that too unjust enrichment you name it man i'm going for anything that i can figure out that can go against what it is that we got going on with you and which you done broke okay now this right here These boys, out of their mind, if they thought they was going to step in there and set precedent, and then thought you were going to go back to it.
34:38James Harrison:No, it's not happening, bro. Who are they trying to sue, Debo? They tried to go ahead and get a case against the NCAA. They won that, but now you got to deal with the conference. You're talking about you going to force me to try and let you into a private? No. This they thing. They can make the rules how they want to make it. Laws is laws. When you got to deal with the law, then you can go against the law. You can't go and make up whatever you want to and then say, Mom, are we there yet? Ten more minutes. Only ten minutes? Can you drive slower? What's up with them today? Lingo Kids. That app we downloaded last week?
35:14James Harrison:They love it. The games of this funny baby bot character. Kids, we're almost there. No! With more than 4 ,000 interactive games, songs, and shows little ones can't get enough of, Lingo Kids is the number one entertainment platform for young kids. Why didn't we download this sooner? Meet the kids! Everything kids love. Download it for free. Didn't catch the latest Roland Martin Unfiltered Podcast? Here's what you missed. And the argument is, do you want to win? If you don't win, you have no power. It's real. Those are the very people who I always say vote against their own economic interests and they complain about the very thing they're receiving.
35:54James Harrison:It's raw. I knew that the issue of transgender athletes was not going well with a lot of black men. Roland Martin unfiltered. I went off. I said, this is exactly what I'm talking about. Y 'all going to scream at Chanel, but you don't want to see a black luxury company in the same vein. Catch Roland Martin's daily commentary on the Black Information Network. 12 seats. Those are moving south. So if you Democrats, you don't wait to 2030. You better be hitting the ground going hard in the South now. And download Roland Martin Unfiltered on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
36:35It's gravy and good, especially when you go ahead and it's a club. It's not like, okay, well, we're doing a deal with this and that. And I done used the name, image, and likeness wrong. and I did this and now I got to, yeah, I don't care about, now you got to pay. That's law. Like, you done did something against a man. This right here, y 'all going against, y 'all telling me, like, my private company got to let you smoke weed if I don't have an agreement to let you smoke weed just because it's legal. No. Yeah.
37:10James Harrison:So that is, because I'm trying to, what is, they're trying to, read this for me one more time. They're trying to get back into the NFL now because they can't get into the thing because the conferences, they went and said, we're not going to play, you guys. We're not going to do none of that. And Lane Kiffin was like, yeah, we're bringing them in. They was like, well, you can bring them in if you want to. We're going to go ahead and get rid of, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You ain't going to do nothing over here in this conference because we're a private entity. We don't have to do shit.
37:44Yeah. You can win this case law, but in this building, in this organization, like they don't have to go by law of what it is that y 'all are talking about. This is private.
37:55James Harrison:That's the same way you were saying the stuff about if you're in the NFL and smoking is legal in that state. We don't care. It's not allowed here. Right. Yeah. Now, if the police come to your house and they say, we smell weed, they can't do nothing about it because it's legal. now if the police come to your house and they say we smell weed and you're in a state that ain't got legal weed now they can do something about it yep but when you go into that piss test or whatever it may be you can't that company say you can't smoke I don't give a damn how legal it is that's it that's your job you can't that federal law can't save your job when you already knew your contractual obligations of your job what we talking about nah that's facts You, when they, the people, whoever controls the goal makes the rules.
38:46James Harrison:Right. You are working for them. You are an employee. Yes. Brother, you ain't doing your own thing. It's a whole union behind that thing. Like, if you ain't college, brother, just stay as long as you can. If you ain't a guy that you know is coming day one, and don't let somebody gas you up into coming out, man. You don't let guys that got gassed up into coming out, and don't get nowhere at the end of it, bruh. You your own man. Now you got a man up. Although you're a kid, you may be considered a, you know, you're not fully matured in the situation, but once you make a grown man decision, them streaks.
39:34Yeah. They don't forgive.
39:37James Harrison:you're going to have your years in college to determine. You're going to have to mandatory do at least three, and then if you want to leave after that, you got to know. Right. You got to mandate a three. You go fire high. So during that time, I'm like, once you find out after three, you get to figure out if you're going, what's my draft status looking like? Ah, all right, back. Come right back after my fourth year. Because once you take that jump, I mean, I feel it. Because in college, you're still now. You're getting paid to play college ball. So when you make that jump to go to the league, your ass is out.
40:10They're going to have to make a rule for me, Joe. You coming back? I'm trying to know. I'm trying to stay in college as long as I can. I ain't fighting no rule. I ain't fighting no rule to stay, but I'm going to stay as long as I can.
40:21James Harrison:Stay as long as you can. I ain't fighting no rule to stay, but I'm going to stay as long as I can. That's the choice. I ain't going to, yeah. Depending on when you're getting drafted. Now? Depending on when you're getting drafted. To hell with the draft, Joe. If I ain't won, you could go and get five, six, seven, eight. What you think you would have got, Joe? But still, look. Hey. If you going top 10. I ain't talking about when you came out because y 'all had that uncapped board. Right. But now, look, look. Now it's capped. Them boys making about$7,$8 million a year. The top 10. You going to stay in college for the 7, 8 or you going to come out?
41:02I'm going to the league. No.
41:05James Harrison:You getting 7-8 at the college. I'm getting 7-8 in the league. 7-8 in the league, and then I'm going to go get 33 per, because I'm the highest. I understand what you're saying, Joe. I'm going to go get that. I understand what you're saying, Joe. But look here, Joe. I'm telling you, D-Bo. You're saying only if you are one. That's what I'm saying. Okay, I could go with that. I got the mindset of a one. I could go with that. I could go with that. But I'm telling you, they saying, hey, man, you are two. you're two at best. Oh, you two at best? You two at best? No. I'm trying to go one. I'm going back.
41:40James Harrison:So if they not telling me I can go one, if they don't tell me I can go one, Debo, I'm with you on that. If I'm not one, And they paying me what over here, Joe? They paying me seven, eight over here already, five, five, five, three to five over here already, Joe. And you telling me I ain't going no third? The third? No, I got to go back. I got to go back because I already know what's going to happen. I'm going to end up going in there and you're going to sign a three-year deal, twice at best case scenario or you get drafted higher and you sign a four which really is a six. Or you're hoping you do with Anthony or I'm coming in like Anthony Gonzalez.
42:13James Harrison:Boom. First round pick. Hit him for about six a year. Then after my third season, I signed a five year extend him for a four year 132 with a hundred guaranteed. If you want to go with a spoon. That's Robert Kraft though. That's Robert Kraft. Look with a spoon. With a spoon. Seahawks. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? Like, listen. That's the way you plan. You plan the draft. Between you trying to figure out if, damn, I'm going to have a career or I got to go out here and play on the one or am I going to end up. That's messed up. I want, I was hoping that it would have been like that for Joey Porter Jr.
42:56James Harrison:But, you know, the league, some, it's Jackson Smith and Jigba. Boom. Bang. You get drafted early. Quick. Some people got to go about it the other way. George Pickens. He didn't get his deal yet. He's a baller. He's still waiting to see. Are we going to get the bag? Am I really, am I off-field problem? No, he hasn't got locked up. He don't do nothing. So it's like they can pick who they want to pay. And when they do get paid, everybody's like, okay, yeah, that's good. And the players that don't get paid, everybody's like, man, you better just go out there. You'd be luckier in the NFL. You better go take that franchise.
43:34James Harrison:You better go take that 20s. The hell with that. I'm like, man, bro. A franchise for a reason. He'd easily be gone. Yeah. So that's why I rock with them dudes and you get it. All right, man. Let's get through. We got a couple of Super Chats here, man. We got to get a lot of it. We got, what is it? Nico Belalick? What? What is that? Nico Belalick? Bellic? Bellic. $10. He said, Joe, you picked off Brady. I got to know what was going on in your mind in that moment. The fact you held on to it while getting sandwiched and coming down in bounds. That's one of my favorite plays. What were you thinking, Joseph?
44:23All right. First things first.
44:25James Harrison:I was thinking I was going to catch it and go back and try to score. So I won the high point. First things first. High point. The ball. Listen, I'm telling you. And then I jumped so high. When I jumped, boom, I felt myself get hit. So I'm like, okay, now my only goal is now to get two feet in. I'm not thinking about scoring. I'm going to high point this. I caught the ball. Boom, I feel Gronk hit me. So I'm going down. I'm like this. Toe tap. Just dead my legs. bink, dead in my legs, and I'm just holding on to the ball like this. I fucking did it. That's a pick. That's a pick. I know I'm in. So then I run to the side and go celebrate with my dogs in the end zone.
45:02Okay.
45:04James Harrison:That's what he was thinking. That's what I was thinking. Appreciate you. It says Wolf is goaded,$2. It says trade three first and get Baker Mayfield. That nigga ain't worth it. I mean, he ain't worth that. They just talking in the chat crazy. They just talking goofy over there in the chat crazy. He's just trying to. Bruh, who is this right here, man? Hey, man, what is y 'all doing to chat getting reckless, bruh? Oh, Lord. See, the chat's savage. Bruh. Hey, look. CJ2K. That is not the real CJ2K. I hope not. No. X1. No, X1Z. $2. This man going to talk about cut DK, pay JPJ his salary. DK done nothing for us man what's wrong y 'all listen and we just get along no look once you start getting the dough you have to make the plays so all we are is reporting news and DK know that too snag the joints that's coming dig Bink, hands catches.
46:19James Harrison:30 per. So it's really, it's the bag. Like, you know, because only why you're getting 30 DK is because we know that you're capable. So we're not asking you to do nothing that we've never seen you do before. You a man child out there. Snag it. Man. We got one more that just popped in. Heco Sante,$2. It said, how sweet it felt to get that. How sweet did it feel to get that interception, Joe? Look, this is the thing, D-Bo. In real time, when you're doing these things, it was another play. It was another play, Joe. I was like, not another play. It's another play, Joe. I understand what you're saying, Joe.
46:57James Harrison:This is what you do. Now, but no, now it's my favorite play. It was my favorite play. Now your body done gave up on you, and now you're looking at things you can never do again in your life. Did you see that vertical when I mossed Gronk and Julian Edelman and picked off Tom Brady in front of all my dogs? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right now, your bird is fucked. And look, watching it on slow motion, Debo, watching all my dogs on the sideline, like looking at the coaches' reactions, seeing what everybody doing, seeing where everybody was at. Okay, yeah. They was rocking with it. Yep. Joe. Joe, we got games.
47:38Who do y 'all play, Joseph? Hold up. We might have another super chat. You know who we play. Hold up. What we got here? Woof is goaded$2. Joe, can you shout out my grandma, Connie? Browns fan. She a Browns fan, Joe. Shout out Grandma Connie. Listen, this is crazy. We're going to get it together. No, y 'all not going to get it together. Maybe not today. Wolf is going to. How old is your grandmother, man? Like, come on, man. Listen. Grandma's fighting the good fight. Grandma is fighting, fighting, fighting. Listen, we got to get her something to hope and have some hope for and cheer about. because it's grandma, bruh, and you don't want grandma leaving this world without having something happening.
48:19James Harrison:I know, I know, I know, I know, I know. You are killing her if you keep letting her be a Browns fan. Y 'all out there browning. Y 'all, you gonna kill this thing. We got time. You understand that? Well, grandma. Get it. Shout out, grandma, Connie. Grandma, get away from the Browns. Connie, get away from the Browns, please. Grandma Connie, listen, I'm gonna just send you the highlights. I'm gonna just send you the highlights. You just don't even Next week Next week Just chill I'm gonna send you The highlights of the game Just to keep You know what I'm saying Look here We got another one We got Jimgirl60 $10 appreciate you Still a full life Yeah Love the hat Debo Yeah Yeah Yeah Joe continue to be you Yes Thank you Hey Joe What's up Listen I ain't recycling yet I ain't recycling yet Joe You ain't recycling yet Joe I'm just telling you right now That's what I'm doing I'm losing track.
49:14We got another one. We got cool sports rhymes. $5. Both of y 'all would have looked nice in... No. In Saints, black and gold.
49:29James Harrison:Saints, they tried. Saints, black and gold. No. No. Yeah. Saints tried to send to your boy, Debo. No, I can't do that. That's turf every day, Joe. Oh, yeah. I was not rocking. Joe, look here, man. Sunday's games. Who y 'all playing? I think y 'all going to - You know we going to Tampa. Popped. We going to Tampa. 1 o 'clock, Tampa. Y 'all got the Buccaneers. They upset. They just got popped by Cincinnati over there. You know what I'm saying? They got spanked. And then the Patriots, they go on ahead. We go up to the Patriots to still meet us. I don't know who it is anymore. I'm just so confused when I talk to you.
50:12But we're going to go up there and get us another dub, go ahead and see if he can't go ahead and hit us in the face with two, three balls. Oh, man. He confused. He confused what jerseys he's seeing and all that. So we're going to go up there. I mean, probably we ain't going to do him as – I hope not we don't do him as bad as we did him last time because, you know, I actually like him a little bit because, you know, they helped me extend my career a little bit. So, I mean, just win, you know what I'm saying, and go from there. But I guess this is a good thing that they, you know, throwing picks and they're getting off with everything else over there, you know?
50:43James Harrison:We need to dog walk the Patriots. Yep. Because first week we had a bye. We had a warm-up. We had a warm-up. We just talked about now, right now, we're playing a legitimate squad. Let's go out there and whoop they tails and have a show that we're going to be able to... The Steelers. The Steelers. We need to dog the Patriots. Oh, I thought you were talking about the Browns. You had me so lost. I was like, what? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. See, Devo. No, no, no, no, no. I'm going with the Steelers. I don't understand what you're saying, bro. I was so lost in that. Then we had to do, we came out victorious versus the Falcons.
51:18James Harrison:Yeah, yeah. And now I'm saying we need to go out here and just let the Patriots know what type time we're on. Right. You know what I'm saying? That's what I'm talking about. Yes. Steelers, good belt. Listen, bro, this is simple. It's nothing to it. The only good thing for the Patriots is they got something else to talk about besides their head coach. You know what I'm saying? and they worried about their quarterback now instead of their head coach. That's all. Let's just keep Drake Bay at me and make sure we don't make it. Don't let him get started. Oh, Grandma's 64 years old. That ain't old. That ain't Grandma.
51:51He said 64 this year. Oh, yeah. She's a young grandma. Yeah. She's young. Hey, but she ain't that young. Get her out of there because the Browns ain't going to do nothing in the next 30 years.
52:05James Harrison:You're a liar. You got time to switch over and get used to it. Grandma, man, by the time - Get used to the black and gold. By the time grandma turns - Hey, Joe. By the time grandma turns 70, it's going to be a whole different vibe. Hold these out over here, Joe. I got some other ones over here, Joe, that you go like. By the time grandma turns 70, I'm telling you. 70? Yeah. Minimum. I'm just saying, by that time, it's going to be a whole different vibe. What's the vibe going to be? That's when they go ahead and get Archie and all the manis over there. Hosting the ship? in the new stadium? In six years, they posting who which ship?
52:43What time is it? They over there by the water.
52:49You talking about this... They moving away from the water so you can't get a ship there. They moving into the new town. In the new stadium where they posted. I'm going to get me an apartment over there so that I can celebrate. Right now, I sound crazy. Every one of y 'all lost in every one of our wins. So I'm going to be celebrating 16, 17 weeks. We know you sound crazy, Joe. Probably because you are crazy.
53:15James Harrison:Fives high, man. New stadium, vibes high. But this week, I'm going to send you the highlights. I hope, you know what I'm saying, we got out there versus Tampa. Let's go see what happens. What Deshaun is going to give us. I'm not asking for 405. How many yards you asking for? 206? No. Because I know he could do 206. I know he could do 206. Can I say something? Is this crazy? Hey, man, somebody just said the Browns going to be out the league by then. See, that's crazy. Chat going crazy on y 'all, man. Listen, I'm just trying to tell you, Joe. Chat going crazy on Joe. Yeah, they don't know what they talking about.
53:53Man. It's all good. Hey, they saying, listen, man, grandma shouldn't be a Browns fan. Like, come on, we got to help her. Shout out, Granny. Like, yo, let's go. This the chat talking about this, man. Why don't you go ahead and tell that man he need to go ahead and switch up, give her something to have some hope out for. Joe came over.
